thinking about will giving his all into trying to save all the people he has left- his fellow campers, his siblings, and nico- even if he exhausts himself in the process, even if he burns himself out

thinking about will desperately trying to ground nico back to the real world- pouring all of his heart his soul and his light at the fading remains of his lover as he sinks into the shadows, away from the world both will and he so deeply cherished

thinking about will, the healer, who is still grieving until now, at everything that he's lost

i've done some horrible things to copia in the notes app but i draw the line at giving him a hip replacement. so my personal hc for his cane situation — disregarding the alternative of him taking one onstage just for the vibes — is that he developed early onset osteoarthritis from ballet and began to manage it. the rats mv was the last time he danced properly, then after the threat of replacement, it was strict physiotherapy and steroid injections until the cane wasn't as necessary as it once was. you can get footwear designed to help with oa, so i'm sliding the shoe moment from rhrn into this self-indulgent ramble ('i'll get injured' = 'things will be worse for me later'). he'll jump around the stage as often as he dares to the frustration of doctors and his mother — and his ghouls, who will help him limp offstage at every show towards the end of the tour and take care of him after treatments. limited movement frustrates him to no end but he'll put on a mask of cheery positivity until he's too tired to maintain it any longer. he'll manage it to the point where it's easier to live with than it was when he danced for the last time, but it'll never be like it was when he was young. he struggles with this more than he does the physical pain. who'd want a reminder of their imminent demise burning at their side with every step? still, he pretends, even if it's obvious to everyone close to him that it's a problem — no need to give them any more reason to end his reign earlier than he'd like

what do the murder time trio turn into after they die??? well you know me. i totally have this figured out (smug emoji) (no i dont) ANYWAYS i definitely dont think that dust would dust away normally while horror bleeds out when he dies and killer melts away into a pile of nasty dt,,,,, IM LYING I DO. dust would dust away because he doesnt really have any body modifications that would result in anything special. horror bleeds out because its a horrortale monster staple to have more physical-ish forms because of their diet (horror doesnt,,, HAVE a diet so let's just say he bleeds AND dusts away) killer i feel is,,,,, incredibly obvious,,,,, like monsters with dt do i think he'd go all melty and goopy and thats how he dies! in a pile of himself,,,,ewuaghhhhh its STICKY 😞 AND incredibly corrosive???? UASGAHSGSUAH (my hand disintegrates)

plus even though Word Of God (tm) is less reliable than in-media stuff... alex hirsch HAS said that stan has always needed glasses, but went without them for stretches of time because he wanted to look cool. so him having them as a kid in those memories is completely plausible. plus ford wasn't even conceptualised as a person when these episodes were made... he was only figured out while they were making atots. so those memory scenes are All Stan, Baby

yeah it's crazy that ford wasn't written as a character until he like. literally showed up lmao

plus even in dreamscaperers/nwhs/tots we have adult!stan constantly switching between wearing glasses and not, so i'm guessing the main reason we don't see it in the kid flashbacks is for mainly visual clarity to differ from ford when they're both on screen

but anyway people trying to make that one bit all about ford makes me sad cos the bond between dipper and stan is important to me!!! like have ya seen my constant posts comparing them lol

boxing arc of LCLA goes crazy tbh we've got qiao ling busting the boys' time shenanigans (and her not believing at first until they prove it via HER being involved in said time shenanigans); we've got cheng xiaoshi's parasocial relationship w his idol shuang hai (man is obsessed); he's shaking crying downing drinks w shuang hai cos said boxing CHAKPION has no one to confide in except two twenty something year olds who did some sleuthing for him; cheng xiaoshi's all like "im your BIGGEST fan why are u being such a LOSER right now 🥲" and lu guang is sitting there quietly except for when scolding cxs for drinking too much too fast 😭😭😭 i love this show

so a while back, i wound up revisiting the hypmic timeline and coming to the conclusion that there’s a high possibility that rei and nayuta got hitched and had ichiro after knowing each other for two years lol

i’m still on the slow grind picking thru evangelion, but according to the nge’s canon timeline, gendo (the man rei has heavy character influences from) married his wife and had his son two years afterwards and i think that is a crazy parallel to have adapted from nge LOL
