Whether that be getting a job in that field, some version of self employment, or simply something as simple as a side hustle, you can use your various skills to earn a decent amount of cash for your pockets. You have what it takes to back it up after all.

Adaptability to Change: You have the innate ability to help others handle these changes as well. You may become a sort if guiding light for others, whether that be by helping them get on their feet, or simply showing them a new perspective, you can aid these people. For yourself however, you are able to see every change, every metaphorical death in your life, as an opportunity, a way to grow. Because you see change from a different perspective, you have a sort of birds eye view of the situation, making you able to see all outcomes easier, good and bad. The difference with you however is that you don't usually let anyone negative outcomes get to you. I really want to go on T. My spouse has told me that he wouldn't try to stop me and I know he completely respects my autonomy. But I also know beyond a doubt that he would stop being attracted to me, and I legitimately would rather miss out on T than hurt my relationship with him. there is a chance that he will become receptive over time. sometimes people are shocked by something at first, but with time and exposure, people can turn around and at the very least respect it. i agree that i don't think just ditching him is a good idea. you have every right to want to stay in that relationship if he's genuinely that important to you. there may just have to be some gentle conversations and he may start to understand that you're still the same person, you're not changing into someone else.

there is the possibility of microdosing as well! that might help warm him up to be okay with it and let you take more if you want that. the changes from HRT can come very slowly and sometimes that allows people who originally oppose it to see that it's not as bad as they thought it would be. some people come to really love trans bodies in these kinds of relationships!

if he just really can't accept it, or becomes hostile or aggressive, then leave. i believe it's worth trying to have a conversation about it in a very gentle fashion, and explain why it would make you a happier partner, and would make it easier to participate in life, and your relationship. those are a few things that come to mind! i hope you're able to take T and stay with him. you shouldn't have to choose between your transition and your partner. i hope that time is kind to you both

Apparently, get into a PJO community wasn't a good idea. That was literally the first thing that appeared.

It is insane to me how people can excuse Annabeth's behavior regarding the entire Judo Flip scene, using offpage takes or terrible justifications to give her a pass.

You like Percabeth? That is fine. Do as you wish. Ship whatever you wanna ship. But can someone please tell me why do you feel the need to romanticize a physical assault? That ridiculous movement Rick pulled out from his ass? The judo flip was a physical assault, you may like it or not, therefore, it is considered abuse.

Percy didnt expect to be attacked.

It wasnt a spar either

They are the only couple where this kind of physicality happens. So no. It is not "commun".

Let's adress the entire judo flip scene, shall we?

Annabeth was on a diplomatic mission. She arrived at Camp Jupiter, a non friendly military place, in a literally explosion. The first thing she does in front of every single roman was attack their praetor. It doesnt matter if it was her boyfriend. That was a stupid movement which could lead to a diplomatical nightmare. Not very wise from the Goddess of Wisdom' daughter.

She wasnt assuring anything. She wasnt making sure "they were still in tune after half a year apart". She was angry. She was angry at him. That is explicit in her POV. Her actions are made out of anger. She didn't judo flipped him and made a joke like "You should not lower your guard, seaweed brain" with a reliefed laugh. No. Instead she put an arm on his throat, and a knee on his belly and threatened him "If you ever leave me again... I swear by the gods..."

Annabeth didnt know Percy lost the Curse of Achilles. Annabeth knew where his death spot was. And still decided to judo flip him and press his back on the pavement with that move. If Percy still had that curse, he.could.have.been.killed. Let that sink in. One stone in the wrong place and it would be over.

Another thing that debunks the take "it was an ok move. Percy and Annabeth are ok with that" is that Percy comments later on the story in his POV that Annabeth was still angry at him for disappearing. And that he felt the need to apologize. Lets keep in my mind that Percy was literally kidnapped and brainwashed by the Queen of Heavens. There was nothing he could have done.

Out of this post, apparently Percy needs to apologize for disappearing (again, kidnapped) according to some people. But Annabeth doesnt need to apologize for literally physically assaulting her boyfriend in front of a crowd.

Again, ship whatever the hell you wanna ship. I really couldnt care less. But stop Romanticizing abuse. It doesnt matter they are demigods. It doesnt matter if Annabeth has abandonment issues. A lesson you should learn and take even to real life: Your trauma doesnt excuse your mistreatment of others.

I really doubt if Percy pulled that shit on Annabeth when she was the one kidnapped and tricked to hold up the sky, the fandom would excuse Percy's behavior. And guess what? They shouldnt either. Because it would have been a dickmove from Percy.

You are only excusing this kind of behavior, because the one who does that is a girl, therefore is "girlbossing" and "it isnt a real problem".

Also, let us concede for the sake of argument that beauty is, indeed, subjective. Even so, have you bothered to ask the people in your church whether they would like to rent a deconsecrated church instead of an IMAX theatre to hold services? Did you bother to ask them whether they would actually like worshipping in a concrete nuclear bunker before you went and built it (which means that they are now stuck with it whether they like it or not)?

5. Modern buildings are cheaper than traditional ones!

It might interest you, by the way, that sublimity is not a matter of extravagance, but of order, proportion, and ornamentation. The beauty of buildings like this licks most of the modern architectural world hollow.

The earliest that you can find this sort of mentality in the Church is the time of Calvin, and even there I doubt that people would accept an "anything goes" mentality with regard to what buildings we build for our churches.

7. There are millions of hell-bound souls thirsting for the gospel right as we speak! Why bother with trivialities?

How many times do we have to tell you, old man, that these "trivialities" have brought countless people to the Christian faith, and sustain them in the same?

When people are on the verge of abandoning all hope in life due to complicated problems and life difficulties which do not simply go away with a couple of sermons or a weekend at an apologetics conference (primarily because they are problems of the heart, not of the mind nor of virtue), you had better HOPE that there are some beauteous "trivialities" to keep them adrift and help them re-focus on Christ.

If you believe that all those are A-OK, there is something seriously wrong with your aesthetic criteria.

Also, returning to the issue of architecture: imagine that you had to live for 6 months in a 800-year-old vicarage in Norwich, and then for another 6 months in a postmodernist tower block. Try it if you can. Then come and tell me how "subjective" the issue of beauty is, even from the point of view of personal experience.

Small Announcement

So as many of you have noticed, I’ve not really been all that active here. That’s mostly cuz uni and my general social life have taken over so I’m relatively busy these days

But it’s kinda cuz of that that I’ve decided to call it quits with this blog for now. It’s not goodbye forever, more so a belated hiatus as I’ve got other things to do

I may still pop here for the odd reblog and fanfic post if I write again I the near future but for now, this is definitely goodbye

I know most of you that follow me aren’t likely to get this on your feed because I’ve been inactive for so long and you’ve all likely moved on, but I wanted to have this as a pinned post so that if, at any point, the question strikes you you have an explanation as to where I am

We have had the recent(ish)misfortune of becoming aware of a fic that managed to power past every ounce of self preservation we had to inspire in us the desire to bludgeon its author with a steel chair for their blatant, transparent, deeply sex-negative to the point that we would fully believe it if someone told us they were catholic and trying to write god-honoring omegaverse fic, writing, which effectively inspired us to do a good chunk of omegaverse because spite is doubtlessly our best motivator in matters of creativity but also appears to have embedded some sort of deeply conditioned rage response in our brain.
