The order in which each one of the Poppy Playtime's toys called Angel/Player dad or mom, either if it was an accident or intentional on their part:

Bunzo. Boy is rescued after the minigame and IMMEDIATELY goes "mom? 🥺" at Angel. They gently tell them that they are not their parent.

Huggy. He cant speak but he makes a sound similar to "mom" when Angel is facing off against Mommy Long Legs

Mini huggies, because if their big brother is doing that then they should also do it! Which once again prompts Bunzo to go "mom!" at Angel once again.

PJ Pug-a-Pillar follows suit, trying to make a sound similar to "dad" at Angel.

Dogday! It was by pure accident, though, and it happened when they were running around Playcare.

Kissy follows suit by intentionally using ASL to refer to Angel as "dad" when they were taking care of her.

Miss Delight refers to Angel first as "the parent" after Catnap's defeat and forced time out. She's hesitant to refer to them as her parent, though, but she wants to do that so badly.

The mini critters all go "MOM MOM MOM MOM" thanks to Huggy, Bunzo and the mini huggies.

Mommy Long Legs mockingly calls Angel "father". Two hours later she legitmately calls them dad, then pretends she didnt.

Catnap is the last one to do that, kinda by accident, kinda intentionally. He refers to Angel as "mother" because everyone else is doing that as they confront the Prototype, but much like Miss Delight he doesn't refer to them as his mother.

The Prototype refer to Angel as both "the Mother" and "the Father" to the other toys during and after the confrontation.

Poppy, ironically or not, is the last one to refer to Angel as a parent, and only after everyone is outside waiting for the authorities to come. She simply says "thank you for saving us... Dad" and falls asleep.

Most of the other toys start referring to Angel as either mom or dad. One of the mini critters however decides to use "boss" and now they sometimes jokingly use that.

Dogday intentionally refers to Angel as his parent some weeks after the rescue. Angel at this point just accepts they cant escape from the accidental parenthood.

Miss Delight also does that when Dogday starts doing so.

Mommy takes a while to be intentional. She normally uses "mom", "mother" and "big mom", and is almost always super reluctant in doing so.

Catnap is the last one, and he switches back and forth between "savior" and "mother". Never "father", though, that title is for another grumpy parent of his.

Player starts thinking of themself as a parent only a year or two later, once their guilt starts becoming smaller than their happiness.

Warren Kepler's beliefs don't fall away all at once.

Kep believes in a few core principles: humans are animals, the species should self-protect, emotions are a choice, and he has dedicated himself to his job so much that he doesn't get to enjoy his animal pleasures any more.

He is first shaken upon Maxwell's death and Jacobi's response. Above all Jacobi is a man he respects, and to see such pain in the man makes him self-reflect. Following that, the aliens dismiss his brutal form of species-protection, opting to instead gibe about some "process." By this point, Kep understands that he ought to get back in touch with his inner animal, because clearly there's something missing (especially given that he made a bad call with maxwell)

When Jacobi turns on him, kep's absolutely shocked. He knew the man was sad but always trusted him to keep his emotions in check. his first instict, as always, is to self-preserve. but once he bypasses that, he realizes that emotions are not really a choice. and for the first time he realizes he can't push people past their natural limits, as he tells minkowski

"she was twenty-eight!" Upon cutter's arrival kep finds a newfound hatred within his professional respect for the man. He preserves himself first and foremost, but the arm replacement is a hollow proxy at best. While conflicted between the years of work he has put into goddard and his hatred for cutter's methods (notably, both entirely new emotions, since he was supressing em all before this), Kepler trusts in the others to figure out an escape while he experiences inner turmoil.

By the finale, Kepler is a stranger to himself. He believes in his own humanity and is ready to come to terms with himself as a person rather than a weapon, but rather than face redemption, he chooses the easy path of betrayal. Clinging to a silly justification about putting himself in the right place and long pent-up feelings of enimity towards ms. young, kep kills her in his first legitmate fit of passion in many years. unpremeditated murder is difficult, however, and so he dies too, and never has to deal with the real work of understanding his guilt and shame for the many lives he's ruined.

Or to present an alternative hypothesis: He finally gives up on his dedication to self-protection. humans, after all, can care for themselves, as jacobi and minkowski have shown. and without that, the sheer weight of his emotions is far too overwhelming to bear.

Most likely, it's a mix of both, but Kep's a matter of perspective.

after several hours, here are the boss themes for my muses ( specifically for the Imperial/Royal AU )

Wynn's would be Battle at Journey's End from O.ctopath T.raveler, mainly because it's very impactful. Wynn legitmately wouldn't want to fight you and it would be a sort of... last resort--something he would put off again and again and again... until the very last step, at the very last part of the journey, because he likely was in your party for the entire length of your adventure. and now he feels like he has to stop you. otherwise, who will?

Penelope's would start off with Thunderblight Ganon Battle from B.reath of The W.ild initially and it will be a relatively normal fight! Penny is one of the few that would have a Phase 2, unfortunately, so when knock down her first her first health bar, there will.... probably be a truly unsettling cutscene, followed by an immediate drop into the second part of the fight. The background track will be Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos from B.loodborne and oh, it will be brutal for your sanity. she also does not wish to fight you, but she is not in control of that choice. Something is telling her to fight you, so she will.

Roderick is another one that would have a two phase fight... because he is a big ass dragon. He needs one for both forms. The dragon form would be the first part of the fight with Splendiferous Silver Sovereign from M.onster Hunter World: I.ceborne. After you ground him ( because you will have to ), he will proceed to try to kill you with his bare hands plus whatever he has at his disposal to the tune of WAR from U.ltrakill. Roderick minds his business, so we all know it's your fault that he's mad. His boss fight is also very brutal... and i hope you've made your peace with god.

Evan's would be all three phases of Colgera's Battle Theme from Tears of the Kingdom--a bit somber, but still very "no, i have to make sure you don't get past this point". He's the type of boss that would have completely different attack patterns when you get down to 2/3rds and 1/3rd of his health. It'd be very clear that Evan is likely protecting something or someone, so he will not stop unless you back off. he'd also be one that you'd have to ground, because he will divebomb you, summon storms, or summon lightning strikes ( though he can also do that from the ground )

Mikah would be that extra boss that you don't unlock until after you've beat Evan and make the decision to kill him or something horrible like that. Not a two phase fight but... a ???? phase fight because Mikah is also trying to murder you to the tune of Grandma - Destruction from N.ier: A.utomata. And the worst part is that Mikah is one of the two that will keep getting up after you kill them. They will get up again.... and again.... and again until they can whittle you down to nothing. They have their ghost here too so.... have fun? I guess?

Next on the list of "unkillable boss" is Joseph. This man is terrifying because he will not be a single npc boss fight. No, no, no--you get two phases because he is a package deal. He purposefully stalls you to the tune of Ludwig, The Accursed from B.loodborne-- in that he just... does not fight you and avoids directly hitting you with his weapons and just uses his ghost to knock you back. Once you whittle that fucking thing down, only then will he elect to fight you because his beloved ( Lerato - @soulsxng ) is there now and they will beat your ass in some twisted fucking waltz to the tune of Ludwig, The Holy Blade also from B.loodborne and now have two fucking health bars. You now have to kill both of them. Good luck with that, because Joseph gets back up. And so will Lerato, probably.

Lawali is a little bit of an enigma and you likely go into the fight not knowing what to expect from him. He is the optional side boss that you wonder why you unlocked because it was so hard to get to... and then halfway through the fight, another one of those truly unsettling cutscenes plays and you find out exactly why the prior area was so hard. if you didn't have any defense against magic or the arcane, uh, Lawali will teach you why you should... you know, invest in that well in advance. He teaches you to the tune of Pontiff Sulyvahn from D.ark S.ouls 3

Vega has probably been following you for the better half of the game and he's a lil different than the others. Rather than two phases, you will have two encounters with him. The first encounter will be to the tune to the lovely Lone Shadow from S.ekiro: SDT ( i am not writing that whole thing out ). Based on your decisions and choices leading up to the second encounter, he may be alone during that fight or he may be alongside his partner ( Astra - @fatestouch ) to the tune of Demon of Hatred also from S.ekiro. Enjoy that.

Andris is a pretentious little shit and will fight you if you breath wrong at him (joke). However… he is still a descendant of a God and… is also another person that is trying to stop you. For partially selfish reasons, yes, but still. He should have a theme that fits his semi-godhood a little, so he will do that to the tune of Demon Dragon Battle ~ Draconified Demon King from T.ears of the K.ingdom. Probably a boss that comes out of completely left field because he was minding his business the entire game and is like "You need to stop... or I can make you stop." so I can only assume it was your fault--

Dakota and Cassandra are also a package deal are just.... sad. It's one of those three phase bosses that you're sitting there, crying the entire time because oh my god, you don't want to do this. Dakota is conflicted and Cassandra has tears in her eyes as she's like... steeling herself. First phase is always S.ong of the Ancients/Fate from N.ier R.eplicant/G.estalt. Second phase starts the moment you get either down to a third of their health. Cassie takes a near-fatal hit meant for Dakota and homegirl fucking snaps. Like it gets real fucking quiet for a little bit.... and then when Dakota turns to look at you? It will be to the tune of Malenia, Blade of Miquella from E.lden R.ing... both phases of that, in fact. I hope it was worth it because now you have fucked up.

Switching fandoms for a bit for some variety. I actually legitmately love the skyrim modding scene, and elder scrolls is a pretty great game series so imma try to make some polls for that too. Mind you, I'm not nearly as well versed in skyrim lore/fandom as I am in many aspects of Pokemon so dont be surprised if I make some mistakes.

Okay, so, on Redacted's youtube page, there is a HUGE playlist, where you can listen to everything in order if you want, which will make the most chronological sense.

But i legit... I started by picking the playlist that sounded the best to me, which was David Shaw's, who goes from Tsundere Werewolf to Aplha Boyfriend in the playlist. They're all designed to make the transition to learning about other characters pretty easy.

Like, starting with David's, you get to learn about Milo and Asher pretty easily too.

Then with Vincent's, Sam is name dropped and appears and I REMEMBER THE FANDOM UPHEAVAL THAT THE HOT SOUTHERN HEALER GOT HIS OWN LISTENER. I WAS THERE.

I do recommend leaving Blake's (Yandere Best Friend), Sam (Vampire Mate with Werewolf Listener) and Ivan- Flyboi Edition for later on, because they do introduce some things that won't fully make sense before you listen to the others?

So, off the top of my head, it's better to start with any of the Wolfpack, David, Milo, Asher, then also Vincent, the Vampire Prince, and maybe... Elliot? The Dreamwalker Boyfriend, and then also the Freelancer series, but follow that one from the Season 1-3 playlists instead of the other ones, just for clarity. But legitmately, its up to you.

Also, for easy listening, there is the coworker series, with Ollie, and then the Tsundere Boss, with Aaron, my beloved. They're not FULLY connected to the main story, until later, so they're easy listening.

And for the love of god, leave BOTH of the Imperium: Cataclysm series to the end, cuz by then you gotta understand the world lore and characters for it to hIT YOU IN THE HEART.

first i must apologize as i have come down with a fever and i can't think of nothing better than to explain why i can't sit through one of this man's books. so sorry for like...everything you are about to read.

to his credit, i do like his takes on the dependance on techonolgy, but that too borderlines a pessimistic mindset which i can only describe as pathological in his views of the modern world.

this theme repeats a lot in my "criticism": his views on the world and "how things used to be" toes the line with traditional/conservative narrative which puts me off. and sure you might say 'oh but thats because his thoughts are based on his culture', that being south korean. isn't that a disservice toall the people in south korea who are putting their lifelyhoods in jeopardy to fight for a better society? (lgbt community and allies, feminists, etc.)

also he ovesimplifies key parts of his thought, using generalisations and stark comparisons to define each other. it lacks nuance and substance. we are dealing with freedom, control, etc. you can't call yourself a modern thinker without providing a proper analysis on them. or at least a good enough route for your "followers" to understand your views on them. i legitmately have no clue where he stands in pivotal views such the ones remarked, of which he bases a lot of his theory. like his "criticism" on neoliberalism. like dude im right there with you on this one, but give me the juice, give me the nuances, give me solutions. something!

because that's what ennerves me about his works: there is no point. this man offers NO practical or at least somewhat applicable solutions to the problems he "analizes" (more like highlights which news flash buster, we've been knowing the problems in our society ALL THIS TIME).

to conclude, as much as his thought has pushed forward some very interseting discussions, and he does have some killer quotes, he feels to me as reading badly done nihilim author in the sense that you can summarize his works with "everything sucks. the old days were better, have you thought about that? hope that helped!"

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN BRASIL RIGHT NOW:

So, as some of you may have noticed, today (2/10) was elections day here in Brasil. Things are really tense and scary here, at least for myself. Right now, our president, unfortunately, is Jair Bolsonaro, a man who has openly said he supports torture and our dictature, is also openly misogynist, queerphobic, the first thing he did when he became president was putting an end to the ministery of culture, he openly made fun of the pandemic, being able to help the people in need during covid's peak and decided not to, saying things like "it's just a little flu, people need to stop being so dramatic about it", made advertisement of a medecine not approved by doctors which his supporters started taking like water, never properly wore a mask and promoted marches during the lockdown, oh, and also spread fake news about vaccines, wich made a lot of people refuse to take them, among many many maaaany other things (I'm so tired rn, it's 02:59am here, if you guys want to, I can get the sources and post here but tomorrow.). Today we had the chance to take him out of our lives, but this is Brasil, no one takes anything seriously and we always find a nee way to surprise people.

I didn't want to sleep until the votes apuration reached 100% but I'll be waking up super early tomorrow so yeah, I must sleep. Anyways, the vote apuration is currently on 99,99% (it's been for the last hour btw) but those ate the results so far.

In conclusion, I am legitmately terrified. Lula was our best shot to take him out, so everyone who didn't want Bozo voted for him, and we were really hopefull we could get him elected on the first turn, but now we'll have to have a second one where we choose either Lula or Bolsonaro. The choice is obvious to me, but as you guys can see, most people prefer to elect a genocidal man than a socialist.

I don't really know what I wanted to achieve with this post, but I just thought it was important to let everybody now what is happening here. We are comparing this to our period of dictature, bc a lot of people here still deny the fact we had one or say it was the best time of their lives and that, quoting my grandma "the history books are wrong".

I once had to research the kinds of tortures that were made by the army during the dictature for school and it still haunts me to this day.

And to see people in the streets, using my beloved flag as their symbol to say that that period was good makes me really angry and terribly sad.

I'm fucking terrified of the second turn. Things are getting more and more expensive here. There are reports of people raiding garbage trucks to look for food bc they're hungry. I am lucky to be privileged and I can still buy food, but for how long? I don't really wanna find out what four more years with him as president will do to us, but I'm scared. I'm scared to go out in the streets, and to openly say my opinions on the matter. There are also reports of people being murdered on the streets bc they were wearing stickers of leftists candidates.

Things are scary here. But please, don't let this be ignored like the dictature was. We now have internet on our side. Please, pray for us and wish us luck, we'll need it.

i'm inherently incapable of taking anything seriously, and having a totally grim-dark portrayal of serious topics is just. something i'm physically incapable of. i dunno, i don't totally vibe with how the MCU tries to do it, because they take a lot of the wind out of their weighty moments by breaking the tension with a joke, when they should be maintaining their build-up as much as they can. but i also believe that the nature of humanity is such that you can be in the worst place of your life and still find the time to laugh. i love cracking jokes and I think that they belong everywhere in writing, including more serious stuff.

I also feel like the enhancements and social repercussions around them was something that the MCU opened the door to and then never actually followed up with fully. (Granted, the X-Men were the sort of biggest pipeline for this discussion in the comics, so they have been missing a lot of their subject source materials). But it's like they have flashes of it and then they don't discuss it to its fullest potential.

I think the most egregious examples of this are Bruce Banner and Ghost (Ava Starr in Ant-Man).

Bruce is the most obvious one. Like, he's an Avenger. It's legitmately his origin story that he was enhanced and immediately people tried to use him as a weapon. I know that he was literally off world when CACW happened, but he should have still been a huge factor in that storyline, especially in light of 1) Thaddeus Ross and 2) his friendship with the team. But no one even brought him up that I can remember?

I don't know, I feel like the entire Accords discussion would have been a lot better if they had used anyone other than Thaddeus Ross as the spearhead. Hell, use Everett Ross to introduce it. Same last name and less of an enormous shitbag. Because the thing is? They seemed to want the Accords discussion to be a legitimate discussion as to what is the right choice, and they used a total psychopath as the guy designing and implementing it. Thaddeus Ross has never had any interest in regulating enhancements. He considered Bruce Banner the property of the US Army. He chased him around the world, not to stop the danger of the Hulk, not to fix what happened, but because he specifically wanted enhancements as a weapon. He wanted to dissect Bruce.

Bruce was their best friend. he was (for some reason) love interests with natasha and best friends with Tony. He was shown to be friends with everyone on the team. someone should have at least mentioned "hey arent you. arent you that guy who. who tried to enslave our buddy our pal our bestie bruce. arent you. do you. do you still have the same motives. do you."

but it's not just bruce! You also have ghost. Who was enhanced in a freak accident as a child, who was being slowly killed by her enhancement, and who was promised by shield that they would cure her if she was their personal assassin using her enhancement. and then they didn't do it. they never even reveal if it's the HYDRA part of SHIELD that did it to her, and honestly? I don't think it needed to be the HYDRA part of SHIELD. you don't become a super secret spy organization without being willing to take advantage of people.

I see enhancements as a total paradigm shift. it changed the entire world, even more than the nuke did for ours. The nuke set off an arms race, and I feel like the same arms race is an undercurrent in the MCU but it's never fully explored. Why didn't Matt ever tell anyone he was enhanced growing up? Why didn't Peter tell anyone? No one ever really mentions it, so I sort of just read in the motivations because it made sense from a world building perspective.

I did a lot of Gristol Posting yesterday/the day before and I with how big my audience has gotten in such a short time (1k followers in a month? wild) it's probably necessary to say I do still think he's a shitty scumbag who did awful things. I don't see him legitmately repenting for it in the canon of the Psychonauts universe any time soon.

The game was right in making it clear he can't be reasoned with. He's got rich person brain rot and deeply seeded tryanical beliefs. Anything else would have been disingenuous. If he were a real person I would hate him the same way I hate jeff bezos, elon musk, and all those other billionare idiots. He represents a lot of beliefs that hurt innocent ppl.

So I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking I'm trying to erase that by musing about how to squeeze blood from a stone and force some character development post-game out of him. Treating characters like him as poor little guys who did nothing/little wrong is genuinely something that bothers me in a lot of other fandom spaces.

I think he's a bad person, but interesting/funny character. Anybody who disagrees on the latter half of that statement is totally justified! My apologies to those I believe I've made uncomfortable by not being more clear abt this.

General:

So many years together has made the core monsters inseperable. If something affects one member, it affects the group.

All. The. Monsters. Are. Family.

It takes Susan a while to understand inside jokes and past incidents because of being the most recent addition.

There are Other anomalous creatures kept in Area 5X, but they are either non-sentient and/or are too dangerous to be kept around the more human-friendly monster group.

Area 5X is so gotdang big because they were expecting a lot more kaijus like Insecto to crop up. Sadly not many have surfaced to justify the space.

There’s a hangar in Area 5X full of wrecked UFOs. Some are spacecraft wreckage while others are stuff like weird meteors (Susan’s is in there), and at least one alien creature that got crystallised upon entering Earth’s atmosphere.

There’s significant difference in staff employed at different points throughout the past 50 years. There are far more women on the Area 5X worksheet than back in the 50s, and the guards are generally more sympathetic towards the monsters. Many modern staff members have been reprimanded or let go for failing to uphold secrecy, or for unnecessary cruelty towards the monsters.

Budget cuts were a legitmate concern up until the Battle of Golden Gate Bridge. The facility was far more barebones and sterile before the government had to formally recognise Area 5X’s importance. There have been a lot of redecorating at the facilty since the fat checks started coming in.

Susan:

Enjoys many hobbies considered stereotypically feminine; baking, sewing, cosmetics, etc...

Grandparents and extended family are farmers or are atleast connected to the business. Modesto is the agricultural centre of California after all. Her parents were the first of their generation to go against the mold and seek out white-collar careers.

Studied cosmetology in school and was working at a beauty salon to save up for her and Derek’s wedding.

Is very athletic and grew up doing a number of physical extracurriculars like cheerleading, dodgeball, and roller-derby.

Grew up being teased for being the shortest kid in her class/family. They still tease her for it.

Greatly fears causing collateral damage and/or harm to others through her size.

Has issues with anxiety, worsened only by her new job as “savior of earth”. She wishes for a confidant to tell her worries to.

Married life with Derek was doomed to fail. Susan had a plan in place for what came after the marriage, and focusing 100% on Derek’s career was not it. There’s also the line from Derek’s mother about Susan being “the weatherman’s wife”, implying that she was to be the homemaker and not have a career of her own. It’s possible that Susan was planning to settle down and have kids with Derek, but the lack of control she had in moving to Fresno implied that more was going on.

Is currently “taking a break” from love and dating, despite gaining many new admirers.

Tries her best to return to Modesto to visit her family and friends whenever possible, though work often keeps her away for weeks at a time.

If she retains her height-shifting abilities as in the series; Susan goes through really bad “growing” pains.

Link:

Was frozen in his relative late-teens during a cold snap. Got shifted around until he ended up somewhere in Greenland before being discovered by modern humans. Post-thaw he went a bit wild, swimming frantically back south to try and find his old enviroment.

Was one of many scrappy youngsters in his troop, with a number of adoptive parents. The strongest ruled the troop, and Link was fairly weak in comparision to the leaders. He had gotten into a fight the day of his freezing (over something silly in hindsight) and swam away to sulk. When he didn’t return after the cold snap - the troop accepted that he had likely died out on his own.

Likes to freak out humans by making up weird biology facts about his species and ones he’s fought against - like joking about laying eggs or having his tail dettach and regrow like a lizard. However there’s some things he has to ask about, because he doesn’t have medical knowledge or words to describe something.

A lot of his macho behavior came from imitating the guards who kept watch on him. 1950s violent military alpha males aren't a very good role model for someone who doesnt know what societal norms are yet. Link was a lot more insufferable back in the day but chilled out as he began interacting with other walks of life.

Has a high paternal instinct and immediately becomes softer around kids and smaller animals.

Has body language similar to a cat/alligator. Slaps his tail when angry or in deep thought. And yes; Link purrs/rumbles when happy.

Loves monster movies - especially the ones where the monsters “win”. He cried when he saw “Beauty and the Beast” and then immediately booed loudly when the Beast turned human.

Does Not Trust doctors or scientists due to bad past experiences. Will only go to Dr Cockroach and Monger if he ever gets hurt/ill. Gets stressed fast if he has to be in a waiting room or doctors office.

Link had no idea what gender indentities or orientations were until recently - he did come from a pre-human civilization that really didnt mind/care about the schemantics. It took him some time to wrap his head around it. He identifies himself as bisexual after much thought and many hours alone on the computer.

Don't press him about his body. He's built different from humans and cis people. He will punch anyone who doesnt respect his or anyone elses identity.

Has been in love before. It didn’t end well.

Will occasionally wear clothes, but finds it a challenge to find anything that fits him. Will give any shoes he finds to Dr Cockroach and BOB to eat.

The best driver/pilot out of all the monsters.

Dr Cockroach:

True name is Jaques-Yves Herbert. Prefers to just go by "Dr Cockroach" because he dislikes the association with his birth family.

Picks up human languages very easily, although not as quickly as he can understand animals.

Parents were a mixed scientist couple. His father was an aggressive “Strong British Man” that would beat him son down for not following orders or for not meeting his standards for a man. Dr C turned down both chances to attend his parents funerals.

This man isn’t straight. He probably uses old-fashioned slang when asked about romance such as; “I am Uranian” or “I wear a green carnation”. It took Susan a few times to realise what he meant, as she is used to a more open minded enviroment.

Got the idea of transforming into a cockroach from reading Franz Kafkas “The Metamorphosis” as a child. He sympathized with Gregor’s abusive situation, and began considering the possibilties of how one could survive better as a creature like a cockroach.

Studied in biology and entomology in the Uk before moving to the states to follow engineering. Obtained his degree in Dance as a “side gig” in University.

Has been barred from free access to the coffee maker/machine due to overnighters. Once stayed awake so long that he forgot the letter “R”.

Owned a terrarium of Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches throughout college. He mourned each of them when his roommate’s iguana got into the tank.

Was a "beatnik" back in the day and still kinda is. Embraces and encourages modern counterculture as he himself was not given such acceptance in his youth. He has however shamefully eaten his old Lenny Bruce album.

Hasn’t actually aged physically since his transformation. He attributes this to the fact that certain athropods can’t age physically beyond maturity. Link is very jealous.

Has obtained more degrees while in captivity, as Monger allowed him access to research and learning materials. He has however had his allowances revoked for previous escape attempts/doomsday devices.

Does still enjoy human food, but the cockroach instinct of "eat detritus" tends to overrule his eating choices. Can’t cook either.

Ironically a terrible driver. The damages from previous drives has made Monger restrict him from operating even a razor scooter.

BOB:

Pretty much considers himself human. Was created by them, raised by one (Monger), and talks like one. Gets sad when he's reminded that no other humans are blue blobs like him.

Absorbed some dna from the scientists present at his "birth", leading to his eye, speech, and omnivorous diet.

Doesnt actually need to breathe (as he can just absorb oxygen through his mass) but the fact that humans Do means that BOB thinks he has to as well.

Shares some physical characteristics with tomatoes/nightshade plants, as he is technically half tomato. He refuses to eat tomatos for this very reason, considering it cannibalism.

Attracts garden pests looking for a tomato plant. This unwittingly makes BOB a pretty good bug zapper.

Still retains his "mental broadcast" ability from "BOB's Big Break" although at a more subtle level. He tends to parrot the things he accidentally "eavesdropped" on.

Is empathetic, and can tell when others aren't doing ok emotionally. Will flop down on someone who’s really sad to comfort them. No brain, only heart.

Best cook out of the monsters. If he doesn’t forget what he’s making at least.

"Whats a gender? Can I eat it?"

Insectosaurus:

Core body is that of a Japanese Silkmoth, although she ended up being spliced with other animals present on the island during her initial mutation; namely ants and ground squirrels.

Eats over a literal ton of mulberry leaves per day. Also enjoys oranges.

Secretly wishes to be more humanoid.

Was only able to pupate and transform due to physical trauma. It seems that her transformation was like a “power-up” that required her to be in geniune distress for it to activate.

First language is Japanese. She learned it from the intial recovery team, and later developed an understanding of English from years in Area 5X.

Goes into torpor in cold weather. Pretty much impossible to wake her up for missions during Winter, as she needs to “rev up” before becoming mobile.

Still very much Link’s best friend. Still enjoys sports, chicks, and beer.

Monger:

Full name is; Warren Rex Monger.

Is very protective of the monsters and will defend them to the death.

Pretty much raised BOB (as seen when BOB was a baby blob in “Night of the Living Carrots”), and considers him his “freaky gelatinous son”.

Has a reputation of being a “control-freak” due to his aggressive overseeing of the monsters’ containment. This toughness is partly because of incidents that occured without his knowledge. Lets just say some scientists have been wedgied/fired for running experiments on the monsters without Monger’s approval.

Has a very “Ron Swanson” emotional response and view of the world. Crying is acceptable only at funerals and at the Grand Canyon (if he hadn’t lost his tear ducts in the war).

Has been married multiple times. Will not confirm or deny if he is currently seeing anyone.

Invisible Man/TiM:

Legit got out but no one at Area 5X is sure how. He suffered a geniune medical emergency and disappeared after surgery. The other monsters were informed that he died from complications to deter them from getting escape ideas.

Is able to be detected in Infrared light. Dr Cockroach managed to rig up goggles to view TiM in case of injury and to foil pranks.

Was a scientist working on an invisibility potion for the military and used himself as a guinea pig. Hasn’t actually been able to replicate his results since - thinks the effect may have been caused by a genetic abnormality.

Dr Cockroach and him are massive rivals. Both actually met eachother pre-transformation through a CalTech expedition. This makes the pair one of few people that have seen the others human face.

Is 100% naked. Was forced to wear clothing once this was discovered.

A massive prankster and a cynic. Him and Link were a force to be reckoned with.

Has revisted the facility multiple times and has started a number of ghost stories.
