But imma just say something that bothered me a little personally, despite not really being a big problem like Chihiro's trial or anything else.

Makoto is boring, that's by design. I have no problem with that (he's a favorite). But... then he talks about "carrying my friends with me in my heart forever," and I got SO EXCITED.

For context, I like protags who evolve their design as the series goes on. Izuku midoriya (mha Jumpscare, I'm sorry) and what have you make my brain go brrrr. I thought makoto was gonna be one of them. Obviously, he's not (the suit doesn't really count).

I get that he doesn't need to be, and that it's pretty obvious even early on he wouldn't be, but cmon think about it!

Maybe he wears one of Sayaka's ribbons. A jacket from Leon (idk), Taka's broken watch, Celeste's metal claw things, Mukuro's rabbit hair clip (maybe on his shirt, since I don't think it'd stay in his hair lol-also he's called a bunny at least twice, it fits! It fits!) Hifumi's glasses (maybe with fake glass? Or anything that wouldnt hurt his eyes), bandages to honor Sakura, the crazy diamond pick axe to honor Mondo. And obviously, alter ego for Chihiro. Blue eye contacts later down the line to honor Junko because, even if he hates her, she was a classmate. She WAS a friend.

I'm not saying all of these should've happened-he'd look like a fanfic oc mc lol- but when I saw the watch, I was screaming for Makoto to graverob. It was right there! Yoink it, yoink it!!!!! You can still use it for the investigation. Just keep it, my boy! Your design wouldn't even change! I'd be happy with just this!

Anyways, Snake Eyes (a dr1 fanfic for the unaware) does this, and I love it. Even if my hope boy isn't quite the same.

And, hrm…about writing, yes I did write a lot before regimen, but its far FAR from being any good. Thankfully most of my early works have never seen the light of day (because they’re in a now dead and deleted fb group) and the ones that did never got off the ground and is lost in ff.net. I was a horrible, horrible, little goblin of a writer and a total weeb. If you cant imagine in, just know that I used stuff like “Kya~!” in the writing……..yeah, I’m choking from embarrassment how did you know?

I also understand the perfectionism bit btw. I’m diagnosed with OCD, and my brand of OCD makes me obsessed with perfection among other things, to the point where I risk bodily harm to achieve it. It took me years of therapy and medication to overcome it, so I understand giving up when you feel something isnt up to your standards. The best advice I can give is this:

When writing, your first draft is just that, your first draft, it doesnt matter if there are grammatical errors and wonky dialogue, its there for you to have fun with and go wild on, word vomiting whatever you feel is the best next sentence. Personally, it feels cathartic to put down all my thoughts on the paper instead of letting them fester in my head, at least its out and not bugging me from within my own mind. I dont sweat the details of my first draft, I just need the words out of my head and physically there so it doesnt bother me as much. Trust me, ideas love to nip and yap at any creative’s heels until they make them real, only then will you have your peace and quiet.

And if you want more order? Before your first draft, make a skeleton of your story, put down the events that happen in each chapter in bullet points. I assume you’ve read chapter 1 of Regimen already so I’ll give my chapter skeleton as an example:

Regimen: Act 1 Outlines

Ch1 - Escape

* Pick up from Armistice. Tom is stumbling through the woods trying to get back to base

* Introduce some unit mates and their relationships with Tom

* Tom hides the fact that the General is dead + his encounter with Tord

* Peace treaty is aired. Things go horribly wrong (Tord is a bastard snake here, remember that Neil)

* Tom announces his intention to escape Norway. The others follow.

* Add context to the world and the state of Norway at the moment, have Tom reflect on his relationship with Tord compared to others. (Hes wrong btw, he ***I erased this next part because the note spoils something***)

* The escape ends in tragedy. Most of the unit is destroyed.

And for inspo? I always suggest different media: books, shows, movies etc etc. Analyze them, see how the plot flows, what works and what doesn’t, how does the story progress? Do they use flashbacks? How often? Exposition? How much? etc etc.

But ah, take my advice with a grain of salt. I’m a professional visual artist, I’m just a hobbyist when it comes to writing ^^;

YES ok im not sure if this is in the context of the AU but i think their initial interactions are pretty much the same regardless. but ill answer within the context of the AU hahaha

ive already talked about it before but the first time they met was definitely backstage after a snakes n barrels show. pickles had the booze, magnus had the drugs, so they had a good time. i dont think they "hooked up" the first night they met (they probably made out some later in the night though lol).

that said, the first time they hooked up was not long afterwards and was probably under similar circumstances. another party after a show, one thing leads to another...maybe not the most romantic but they had a good time. they (Especially during the early days of their relationship) arent exactly the romantic type. or maybe i should say they arent the conventional romantic type. lots of hook ups in less-than-ideal places. magnus' car a lot. they have fun.

first date though! so one of the major differences in their relationship in the AU is that they do actually acknowledge their relationship. while they definitely did plenty of stuff together that would probably count as dates, when i think of something that was actually meant with romantic intentions, i imagine this: they drive out to the desert really late at night, sit in the back of mags truck, share a blanket that isnt really keeping them warm, smoke a joint and stargaze. its nice. i imagine this happens a while after snb already broke up, and its the first "date" theyve really done where its a lot more. intimate. quiet. theyre used to going to loud bars or concerts and just generally getting shitfaced but in this instance theyre a lot more lucid and can appreciate whats happening. appreciate how beautiful the other looks in the cool light of the moon. its the first time they think "wow i think i love you"

then they probably boned in the back of his truck because they were cold. then theyre still cold afterwards. probably because theyre naked now too. they didnt think this through very well but its fine its still a better than average date.

Adrien Agreste =/= Sociopath - About Adrien Salt

I've seen a lot of posts going around about Adrien being a sociopath or the other (harasser, abuser...etc.)

What I find most of those posts lacking is looking at the big picture, or just zeroing in on certain moments of the show and even disregarding the context of those selected moments to unfairly rule judgement on a child (in canon) no less.

Definition of sociopath: A sociopath is a term used to describe someone who has antisocial personality disorder (ASPD). People with ASPD can’t understand others’ feelings. They’ll often break rules or make impulsive decisions without feeling guilty for the harm they cause.

People with ASPD may also use “mind games” to control friends, family members, co-workers, and even strangers. They may also be perceived as charismatic or charming.

We have to analyze the context and the surroundings Adrien is in.

Family, social life, relationships (platonic and romantic), personality, age, environment...etc.

Family:

We know Adrien has a father who is controlling, preferring to micro-manage every aspect of his son's life to continue to have a semblance of control at all times. We assume (heavily implied in the show), that his mother was kind, warm and emotional (whether that emotional is the "out-there" kind her twin sister has, it remains to be seen.)

According to a snippet from "Simon Says", Adrien also has "Quite a temper, you remind me of someone" according to Gabriel's own words, we can assume the "someone" is Emilie, Gabriel says this when Chat Noir refused to follow his orders and told him to basically "get off his high horse". In this context, anyone who defies Gabriel in such a way would either be branded as "disobedient" or to "have quite a temper".

According to Adrien himself in "Adrien's Double Life" (from Miraculous Secrets) he describes being Chat Noir as "...I can finally do whatever I want to do, say whatever comes to mind." He doesnt feel as restricted and controlled since that's the one aspect of his life his father has no knowledge of.

Social life:

Adrien has had no or very little interaction with peers.

Evidence: Chloe being his childhood friend. Felix commenting on Chloe's appearance in the video she sent for Adrien's birthday, saying "Chloe. Just as annoying as usual." suggests he knows her from before, maybe even as early on as their childhood days.

This makes Felix and Chloe the only kids, of spoiled and rich background, with whom Adrien interacted.

Felix is shown to be good at manipulating people and keeping up appearances (potentially connected to insecurities within the family? Not confirmed), Chloe is openly mean and bullies others (with underlying insecurities also connected to her parents).

The only positive adult (if Gorilla isn't as involved and Nathalie had been solely Gabriel's secretary and not Adrien's caretaker since there was Emilie) in Adrien's life would be his mother, who also fell into a coma during Adrien's formative years (and still during a time where he's figuring himself and his emotions out: puberty), leaving him with his father.

Moving on, even if the writer's sometimes may not always successfully show Adrien being awkward in social interactions, it doesnt mean they dont exist.

This interaction between him and Marinette, asking for her autograph, very formal in his question, awkward in posture:

He's picked up on some speech patterns from his frequent interactions with Nino ("dude", "Hey man." "Totally dude.") showing he's, like many people, mimicking his friend's behavior and speech to grow more favorably in their eyes.

The same pattern can be observed with Gabriel and Adrien: Adrien adopts his father's formal speech whenever talking to him, since that appeases him.

Adrien has had very limited friendly interactions with his peers, romantic interactions are basically non-existent. The scenes where Adrien is being chased by his fans, who obsessively adore him, cant be linked to Adrien experiencing healthy romantic contact (Lila doesn't count since she only uses Adrien to further her goals). Marinette doesn't count since Adrien's isn't even aware of her romantic feelings for him. (Again, difficulties picking up social cues due to only ever being homeschooled > limited social contact with peers)

So no, in my humble opinion, Adrien sometimes doesn't understand other people's feelings not because he's a sociopath, but because he's an awkward kid with very little experience about making friends and having healthy relationships with them.

Relationships:

Let's be direct here: Gabriel is an abusive as*hole.

If the writer's wanted to show Gabriel struggling or having remorse for his actions being Hawkmoth and putting his son through danger, well... They blew it. "Gorizilla" was a 5 second reaction of Hawkmoth showing concern after letting Adrien fall from a skyscraper. Applause. After that? Not much.

Nathalie: Adrien likes, she takes care of him, his schedule, was the one to convince Gabriel to let him attend public school. There are moments in the show where she softens up towards Adrien, but always carries that air of professionalism on her to (possibly, assumption) not grow too close. Gorilla is...Gorilla, but at least the man tries with his nonverbal support and affectionate grunts. Lol.

Gabriel: He loves his father. It's his parent, after all. However, Adrien's reactions to him are vastly different than to how he reacts when thinking of his mother. He shows signs of fear (tensing up, growing obedient...etc.), he excuses his father's excessive controlling tendencies to just be "he's just worried about me", "that's the way he always was", "father cares and protects me". Adrien shows to be frequently disappointed with Gabriel, one of the first scenes being that Gabriel couldn't attend parent's day at school, Adrien was talking on the phone alone in the school hallway. He was genuinely surprised by the blue scarf his father gifted him (not knowing it was Marinette), since all he used to get were pens (again, not even from Gabriel, but Nathalie). This is my assumption but: Adrien has previously begged his father to go outside more or attend public school, but this time it worked only because Nathalie managed to convince him.

Friends from school: Nino is his best friend, Adrien seems to be good friends with Alya too, basically everyone in class, with varying degrees of closeness. Chloe is a childhood friend whom Adrien is fond of but also grows exasperated with and corrects her behavior if she's too harsh.

Marinette: likes and respects her, but can't read her well or at least when he thinks he's got her figured out, she claims the opposite. Marinette has been sending mixed signals, on one hand even making Adrien believe (and fear) they weren't friends. "Chat Blanc" contrary to popular belief, showed that Adrien is delighted at the prospect of Marinette being Ladybug (he'd severe doubts when Chloe or anyone else was brought up as a possible option).

Kagami: likes her, respects her, admires her fencing skills, learned to have fun hanging out with her and playing as kids usually do since she also has a controlling parent and they both know some ways/tricks around their boundaries to sneak off and meet their friends. Adrien and Kagami have similarities in that respect, Gabriel pushing Adrien to be a model, Mrs. Tsurugi pushing Kagami to be a master fencer.

Lila: At first defended her, was friendly towards her since she was a new student from overseas he sympathized because surely it would be lonely? The new girl would need a friend who supported her through all this things that were new for him too. However, as soon as he caught wind of Lila's schemes, he changes his tune. He feels uncomfortable around her overstepping his boundaries, expresses anger when Lila accused Marinette of crimes she didn't commit and even makes a deal with her to not bother Marinette again (but use him instead, doing photoshoots together...etc.) to keep her safe.

Age:

A 14-15 year old, having lost his mother, the only positive, healthy relationship in his life. Surrounded by a controlling father, not much free time, many extracurricular activities and being a superhero alongside Ladybug.

Some of the signs of being a sociopath include: Breaking rules and being impulsive.... Didn't Ladybug do those too?

Breaking the rules: (since LB and Marinette are the same) stealing phones, sneaking into places where she shouldn't, using the miraculous for personal gain (latest example: getting Kagami away from Adrien), giving Adrien the snake miraculous due to personal preference instead of drawing logical conclusions. Sneaked into the Agreste mansion.

Impulsiveness: Marinette's daily fantasies (sharing a future life with Adrien and their hamster-who-must-not-be-named), when Lila's "precious family heirloom necklace" was "stolen", Marinette was quick to include her classmates in the list of potential perpetrators for it (without ill intent, but still..)

You know who the real potential sociopath in the show is?

Some of you might include Lila too (since she fits all the criteria for being a sociopath), but the key difference is: Lila is still just a kid.

We don't know much about her family life. Just that her mother is busy with work, we don't know where her father is, who her friends were/if she even had them. She might be lying and manipulating people to follow her own agenda, but she thrives in attention, when people notice and praise her. In some aspects, that could've been Adrien. With one neglectful parent, a missing parent, no friends (prior to going to school)...etc. There is also a lot we don't know about her.

So there this is king westergaard singing this to his youngest son (5-10 years old) counting triplet and twins its makes around 8 of his sons. the song indoctrinated them into his belief of social darwinism "westergaard are lion not little mices" and kind of explain the dynamic of Hans family at the start of a frozen heart it is explain the treatment Hans receive from his brothers its to have their father attention , approval.

Context : The king of the southern isles leave his study to go rest in the castle in the royal living home Hans , 12th , triplet and the twins (rudi and runo) the 6th and 5th are there. One of the triplet complain to his father how it was not nice that one of their citizens had be emprisoned because he couldnt paid the taxes. have you drawn anyone with green skin? thats usually a pretty big tell for art. i tend to avoid drawing any human or human like thing with green, yellow, or orange skin (sometimes blue) just because it can quickly become racist (especially green)

(disclaimer: I am white and not jewish which means im probably not the best person to be talking abt this subject so I’ll keep it short.

I mean I have multiple characters with skin patterns/multiple colors, but with that specific aspect I do think context counts. Like if all the human-esq villain characters have green skin and the heroes are all white or whatever, or if the character who is supposed to be Asian has been given straight up yellow colored skin, then yes. def some racism in there. But if you have a story where characters are from different dimensions/planets/worlds and there is physical/personality/role variety in both hero and villain groups I think that’s less from racism and more from creativity?? if that makes sense???(of course there are poc coded characters who aren’t *technically* poc or even human in a lot of cases and this can be used very well or very poorly depending on the creator) 

I am aware of the lizard people = antisemitism yeah(along with “gingers have no soul” and big noses and the penny pinching rich type character). My snake boy Rajiv is specifically Indian, both ethnically and mythological. He’s based on the Naga (or Nagi/Nagin/Nagini for females) which are usually considered a type of god or demi god. They’re associated with water, protection, and of course snakes. I honestly don’t know if Jewish people would consider the naga antisemitic? They’re very deeply rooted in Hinduism (India primarily) and a lot of other south east Asian cultures (all climates where there’s lots of water and snakes! how ‘bout that!) so I doubt they were “inspired” by Jewish people but hey I’m just a rando on the internet so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Deceit opened his eyes, squinting in the bright, assaulting sunlight that met them.

That wasn’t right. Why was his room so bright? Why was his bed so hard. Why was it so cold.

It wasn’t his fucking room.

Standing up, Deceit looked around him. He was standing in a small cage, simple metal bars, barely rising above his head and narrow enough to reach the sides with outstretched arms.

Not good.

Blinking away his sleep, Deceit saw a figure on the other side of the bars. He moved towards them.

Patton?

“Patton, whats going on?” he breathed, slightly breathless with mounting panic. This was all just a prank, wasn’t it? Just a poorly thought out prank?

Somehow the look on Patton’s face didn’t seem like that. His face was almost unreadable, except for the traces of anger around the tight lips, tints of sadness in the wide eyes, holding himself far straighter than usual, as if trying to convince himself to be confident.

“I can’t let you hurt Thomas,” he whispered, his eyes closed.

“Hurt him?”

“Yes!” His face wasnt unreadable anymore. Pure disgust stung Deceit’s eyes as it appeared too suddenly to register. “You just hurt him! You’re a liar! And i wont let you!”

“So this is your solution!?” Deceit cried. He knew Patton hated him, but this? “Locking me away? What if the time comes when you need me!”

“Simple,” Patton purred, his voice suddenly venomous, “that time wont come. We don’t need lies. They’re wrong. You’re wrong!”

Deceit shrunk backwards, panic beginning to fill his mind. “How did you even do this?!” Deceit cried, clinging to the bars until the cold metal dug into his hands. “This is Roman’s realm!”

Patton blinked a few times, his lips twitching and his fingers trembling. “Who’s saying Roman isn’t doing this?” he mumbled at the ground.

“He wouldn’t!”

“Wouldn’t he?”

Deceit faltered. No, Roman would do this, would he? Roman liked him, he was nice to Roman. But only Roman could control imagination enough to do something like this.

Patton was staring at him, a strange ferocity in his eyes. Deceit could see how his chest was rising and falling rapidly and reached out to him through the bars.

“Please,” he whispered, desperate enough to resort to begging. “You don’t want to do this.”

Patton continued to stand completely still, staring at the ground. Then he blinked slowly and looked up, hatred burning in his eyes so hot that Deceit flinched back. Sweet Patton, innocent Patton, with such seething loathing, it made tears spring to his eyes.

“You’re so full of lies, Deceit,” Patton hissed, coming closer. “We don’t need you.” Deceit fell to his knees. “Thomas doesn’t need you.” One tear slipped down his scaled cheek. “We don’t need your lies!” He crumpled to the floor.

“No,” he murmured, more to himself than Patton. “You do need me, i’m good, i do good.”

He did, didn’t he? He tried! Its not his fault that they decided that they hated him before they even met him!

“I’m sorry, Deceit,” Patton hissed out his name like a curse. “But you’re staying here.”

Patton began to walk away, the usual spring missing from his step. Deceit leapt up and banged his fists against the bars.

“You cant do this! They’ll come! You need me!”

Patton simply put his hands to his ears and kept on walking away.

Deceit sunk to the floor of the cage, tears flowing freely down his face. Shaking sobs racking his body. Once he saw that Patton was safely out of imagination and back in the mindscape, he let out a scream that shook the ground.

They still saw him as the bad guy?! After all that?! The snake come to lure them into sinning! It wasn’t true! It wasn’t! It couldn’t be!

“Patton! What in the wide world were you thinking!”

Logan’s voice met Deceit’s ears as if it were miles away, but when he opened his eyes, his shiny black shoes were right there on the other side of the bars.

He must have passed out, he thought, as he picked himself off the bare floor.

“I told you, i didn’t do it, i don’t know how it happened!” Patton said quietly. Deceit let out a hiss.

“You’re lying!” he growled. Patton looked at him, traces of hate lingering in his eyes, but overcome with fear.

Roman spun around and grabbed Patton by the shoulders, shaking him. “What happened to ‘lying is wrong’, Patton!?” he cried, his voice cracking.

“With exceptions!” Patton replied in a shaking, petulant voice.

“Just stop it!” Logan cried, fiddling with the lock.

“Stop what?” came a small voice from behind them, they all froze. Virgil was standing there, his eyes glistening. Logan jumped back. Recognition of what was happening struck virgil so hard he stumbled.

“Who?” he growled, his hands balled into fists.

Roman stepped aside to reveal Patton, who had his hands drawn in to his chest.

“You?” Virgil breathed, closing his eyes. “Why?”

“He was hurting you,” Patton whimpered. Deceit hissed again.

Virgil looked at Logan, who was still working on picking the lock, nodded, then turned around and walked quickly back to the mindscape.

Patton reached out a hand to him, as if to pull him back, but he had already disappeared inside the door. He spared one last teary look at Roman, then bolted after him.

Deceit let out a sobbing breath as the door swung open, and he fell forwards into Roman’s arms. Roman gently held him for a moment, before leading him slowly back to the door to the mindscape.

“How did he do it?” Deceit said, looking up at him. “Only you have enough power over imagination to build something like that.”

Roman sighed. “I gave him some control a few days ago,” he said. The pain in his voice made Deceit’s heart twinge. “He said he wanted to make something, i pictured a garden or something, I never dreamed…. i never…. I’m sorry.”

“I dont think any of us could have for seen this,” Logan said, his brow creased.

“Really?” Deceit asked, his voice dark. They stared at him. “He hates me.”

“But, Patton-”

“Thinks that everything is wither right or wrong. he has placed me in the ‘wrong’. He hates me.”

They had arrived back at the entrance to the hallway, and Deceit leant against the doorframe, scrabbling together some of his usual suave demeanour despite the fact he was in his pyjamas and had practically just been carried back, but the other two backed away all the same.

“And it’s not just him!” And with that, he sunk out to his room, crumbled, and sobbed.

Don’t Mess With Baby

Mistletoe - 

As you had promised, Dean had slept in the Impala the night after his faked death and then he spent a few nights sleeping on the couch once you had returned to the bunker.  He was expecting retribution but you had decided to let him stew, first.  Your payback plan had to be just right and November had come and gone without even the smallest hint of revenge.  Now, a week into December, you were ready.  

You had called on an old friend to get you what you needed and, after you shared your idea, the trickster angel was happy to make it happen.  “Mistletoe,” Gabriel had laughed, “that’s genius.”

Dean wouldn’t know what had hit him until it was too late.

The smell of coffee drew the brothers out of their rooms.  You had just finished hanging the mistletoe in the kitchen’s entryway when Sam rounded the corner into the library.  He stopped and looked around, taking in the decorations you had hung as well as those that had yet to go up before shaking his head and walking towards the kitchen.  You were still in the doorway so, as he tried to pass through, you pointed up.

“Mistletoe, Sam,” you told him and tilted your face to the side, tapping your cheek.

Sam chuckled and leaned down, giving you a quick peck and ambled towards the coffee pot.  

Dean had arrived in the library just in time to see his brother kiss you.  “What was that about?” he asked.  His voice was gruff with sleep but it wasn’t accusatory; he just hadn’t seen your affection displayed like that, before.  

“I’m putting up some Christmas decorations and Sam and I were under the mistletoe,” you explained with a smile.  

Dean looked above your head and flashed you a grin.  He sauntered over to where you were standing and pulled you in close.  “Looks like we’re underneath the mistletoe, now,” he observed and then pulled you in for a kiss.

You giggled and kept your mouth closed, giving him a chaste kiss on the lips.  “Get your morning breath out of here,” you chastised as you winked at your boyfriend and ducked out of his reach to finish decorating.  

Later that afternoon, Cas was in the bunker.  He and Dean walked out of the kitchen together before both men suddenly stopped.  “What the hell?” Dean asked, looking toward Cas, “I can’t move.”

Castiel tried to take a step forward but found that he, too couldn’t maneuver through the doorway.  When Cas tried to fly, you giggled and both men looked to you with confusion and concern written across their faces.  

“Did I forget to mention that it’s enchanted mistletoe?”  You asked innocently.  “Once two people are under it together, they can’t leave until they’ve kissed.”  You shrugged.  “Oh, and after each kiss, the mistletoe ups the ante… It’s gonna take more than a little peck.”

Dean looked at you flabbergasted.  “Why would you hang something like that in here?”

You gave him a pointed stare and you saw the moment that it clicked in both of their minds, that this was your revenge, and another laugh bubbled out of your lips as you watched the two men.  

Determination colored Dean’s face and you could practically read his thoughts.  ‘I’m not going to let her win.’  The hunter turned to the angel and he pressed his lips to Castiel’s for a few seconds, both men standing stiff as boards until they came tumbling out of the doorway.  

Dean immediately turned back towards the kitchen and reached for the mistletoe, only to find that his hand passed right through it.  

“Oops… Only the person who put it up can take it down,” you snickered.

You pulled Dean under the mistletoe with you and, after he had refused out of principle, he kissed you soundly, his tongue snaking into your mouth.  After that, Dean took care to avoid the hanging plant.

The brothers took a case and were out of the bunker for a few days.  As soon as they had gotten back, Sam had gone for a shower and Dean was putting their mucked up clothes into the washer so you had told the boys you’d see to dinner.  After a few minutes in the kitchen, you screamed.  

Sam and Dean came running, both making it into the kitchen’s entryway at the same time.  They were frozen in place, their eyes sweeping the room.

You grinned at the brothers.  

“You’re not hurt,” Dean breathed.  

“Nope,” you replied, “but you’re stuck under the mistletoe with your brother.  Better get kissing and, oh...” you paused as if you were realizing something for the first time, “that kiss we shared last time was really hot… I can’t imagine what it’s going to take for you two to get out.”

Sam turned to Dean with wide eyes and Dean looked at his brother with a matching expression.  “No way,” Sam said, shaking his head.

“Not happening,” Dean agreed.  “What will it take to get you to take this damn plant down and let us out?”

You pretended to think about his request for a minute, though you already knew what you wanted.  “Declare me the winner of the prank war,” you replied simply.

Dean was quick to comply.  “You win.  Hands down, you came up with the best prank.”  Dean looked to his brother who was nodding his agreement.  

You approached the Winchesters, dragging a chair behind you that you could stand on to pull down the mistletoe and break the enchantment.  “And I get to drive the Impala whenever we go anywhere for the next month,” you added.

“What?  No!” Dean sputtered.  “Anything else you want is yours…”

You stepped back and pulled your phone out of your pocket.  “Then you two better start making out.  Don’t mind me, I’m just gonna snap a few photos, maybe take a quick video.”

“You know, on second thought, you can drive for two months if you want.”
