hyunjin moved to slap him, but jisung moved before he could make contact. hyunjin’s quick movements caused his laptop to fall from his lap. he fumbled to catch it, accidentally closing the browser while doing so. he got immediately to bringing the game back up.

“y/n,” seungmin cut in, “come to the night club with me while you wait for hyunjin to log back on.”

“hey, no!” hyunjin protested, “then she’ll never go back to her igloo with me! stop trying to steal y/n!”

“no, i’m saving her from you.”

“by taking her to a night club? what if someone slips penguin roofies in her drink?”

felix cut in, “except maybe seungmin.”

hyunjin’s penguin popped back up in your igloo, “no, she’s not going anywhere! i’m back!”

you laughed as your penguin character waddled across the screen and towards the entrance to your igloo, “hyunjin, let’s go somewhere else where felix won’t follow us.”

you waved him over to you and whispered the located in his ear before opening your map to go there, careful not to let any of the other boys see your screen and blow the secret.

felix let out a cartoonish evil laugh, “good. now that you’re gone, i can burglarize your property.”

“you can’t commit felonies in club penguin, felix.”

seungmin cut in, “actually, i’m pretty sure he can. he uses a lot of hacks.”

offended that he had been accused of unfair gameplay in such an important game such as club penguin, felix stood from his chair to confront seungmin. seungmin raised his arms in defense and slid his computer off of his lap just in time before felix tackled him on the bed, causing hyunjin to lose grip of his computer once again.

“for fucks sake felix, you can’t commit felonies in the game but i sure as hell can in real life.”

felix was too involved with wrestling seungmin to register hyunjin’s threat.

while hyunjin was scolding felix for making him drop his computer for the second time that night, jisung took his chance and reached for the boys computer, effectively revealing the secret location you and hyunjin had went to.

with a few clicks of his mouse, jisung was stood right next to you and hyunjin in the club penguin cafe.

hyunjin sighed and looked up at you, “what if we just block them so they can’t go to our igloos and then we won’t be bothered.”

that caught felix’s attention.

Was part of Operation Blackout.

yes, they are the embodiment of gay

okAY well anyways they belong to a whole clan of rainbow puffles that live in a habitat in the sky

itʻs basically just a big clump of clouds that have solidified enough where these small things can live

theyʻre body weight is lighter than youʻd think tho !! to accommodate the fact that they literally live on vapor

from their big ole cloud in the sky, they canʻt do much. puffles are not allowed to go down to the land walkers unless theyʻve been ʻadoptedʻ -- when someone completes their quest.

izzy has always been fascinated with the land walkers. for the most part, puffles canʻt really see what theyʻre doing down there unless theyʻre monitoring quest. which !! is why izzy is in charge of giving quests to those in search of a puffle.

theyʻre one of the older puffles there and they make sure that each puffle finds the right partner for themselves. they specifically tailor the mission to each puffle so that through their quest, the penguin ( or literally anyone lmao ) learns exactly how to best care for their new puffle.

izzy has taken an extra interest in the land walkers since they watched the sky people descend on them. less and less people have taken up quest since theyʻve arrived, and izzy has taken special care to not offer quests to any of the visitors from above, though telling the difference between everyone has been,,,,,difficult.

so !! in order to help the land walkers and continue the tradition of adopting puffles, izzy has decided they needed to see what all the hustle and bustle was about and has begun searching for someone to take on the quest of their own companionship !!

i think the idea of completely some kind of task in order to meet them is funny af so !! come at me if you wanna try and adopt yourself a rainbow puffle.

This happened on a Discord server I’m in, and one of the members/my friend and I ended up actually typing this. Basically Kingdom Hearts characters as puffles. Do we regret this? No, not at all. Here’s a link to the story on AO3, though you can read here down below.

“It’s all fucking snow.” Vanitas gazed out of the gummi ship window at the world in front of them, a grimace on his face. The world was fairly small, it seemed to be one big snowy island surrounded by ocean, smaller icebergs floating around it. There even seemed to be a tall snow mountain. It looked absolutely freezing.

“Yeah, well lucky for you, it looks like we’re going to have to transform to blend into this world,” Roxas muttered, already annoyed with Vanitas’s constant complaining. “Let���s get going, these Heartless aren’t going to kill themselves.”

“As long as we transform into something warm….” Vanitas grumbled, his eye twitching slightly.

“One second,” Ven called out from the passenger seat, his gummi phone in his hands. “I need to text Aqua in case we can’t use our gummi phones for some reason.”

Once Ven was finished sending his text, the three keyblade wielders flew down towards the snowy world. As soon as they left the ship, the transformation magic kicked in, giving them the forms needed to best blend in to this new world.

The first thing Roxas noticed when they teleported down was that he had no limbs. He couldn’t feel his arms or legs. He opened his eyes to confirm that no, he definitely didn’t have any arms or legs. Everything around him looked gigantic all of a sudden. He shifted his gaze to try and see himself, and for some reason, he had a tail.

“....What the actual fuck are we.”

“Roxas, why don’t we have legs?” Ven asked.

“You really expect me to know?” Roxas retorted, looking over at Ven. He paused, noticing that Ven was actually glowing. There was a golden glow shimmering around him, yet he didn’t seem to be made completely out of gold. Ventus was literally a gold ball of fluff. Roxas turned to eye Vanitas, wondering what he looked like. Sure enough, he had also shrunken into a ball of fluff. Vanitas almost looked like a cat, if you ignored the lack of legs. He also had a white tipped striped tail, and for some reason, he was chasing it.

“What the fuck are you doing Vanitas?” Roxas couldn’t help but ask. He could hear Ven struggling to contain his laughter.

“Something’s attacking me!” Vanitas growled out, hopping around in a circle as he tried to bite his own tail. Ventus let out a choked snort, his small body shaking from the effort of trying not to laugh.

… “....That’s your tail” Roxas stated with a monotone voice, not completely sure how to react to this.

“......Oh.” The moment he said that, Vanitas regained his composure, his tail falling limp on the snow. He immediately turned to them, glaring at them while growling lowly.“If either of you guys speak a word about this to anyone, I’ll kill you.” Vanitas snarled, his tail puffing up slightly. Both Roxas and Ventus nodded, though Ven was still snickering slightly, before noticing something.

“Um… How exactly are we supposed to use our keyblades like this...?” Ven asked, looking at their lack of arms. Roxas quickly realized that the three of them were far to small to even hold their keyblades, not that they could anyways with their lack of arms.

“.....You have got to be fucking kidding me….” Vanitas groaned, his eye twitching. “I already hate this world.”

“Maybe we can use our magic?” Roxas suggested, ignoring Vanitas’s complaint.

It was that moment when several several Heartless appeared, rising up from the ground and preparing to attack the trio. On Instinct, Roxas hopped back and cast firaga, vaporizing one of the heartless instantly.

“Lucky for us, it looks like we can still use our magic!” Ven smirked, narrowing his eyes as he glowed a little brighter. A sudden burst of wind from Ven’s aeroga sent some of the Heartless flying, their bodies dissipating. A feral grin grew on Vanitas’s face, his eyes slightly tinting yellow as he sent a dark firaga flying towards another Heartless.

“Good thing magic works well on these guys!” Roxas grinned, before casting another spell alongside the duo.

They had the Heartless cleared out within minutes, some of the snow melted around them from the fire spells.. After the Heartless were gone, people, or more accurately…. penguins came by.

A little penguin, wearing a shirt with a picture that looked a lot like Ven’s current form, approached Vanitas with a smile on her face.

“Puffles!” She screamed happily, reaching out in an attempt to pet Vanitas. He instantly backed up, hissing at her and causing her to recoil with wide eyes.

A much older looking penguin came running after the little girl. “Molly!” he scolded with stern look on his face. “don’t touch that thing, it’s feral.”

“But grandpa, it’s a kitty!” ‘Molly’ whined, looking at him with a sad look in her eyes.

“No buts, it could’ve bitten you! Let’s get going.”

Just as quickly as they came, they pair of penguins left, the younger one much more hesitant. Vanitas turned towards Roxas, a deep frown on his face. “You mean we could have turned into those? Then why the fuck did we turn into stuffed animals?!”

“I don’t like this anymore than you do!” Roxas retorted, hissing at him slightly. Vanitas’s tail puffed up, a low growl coming from him. Roxas started to growl slightly in response, his own tail starting to puff up.

“Guys, let’s just get a move on!” Ventus interrupted the two of them before a fight broke out. “I don’t know why we were turned into these… ‘Puffles’, but we’re just going to have to manage. These Heartless aren’t going to kill themselves you know.” Vanitas let out a grumble at Ven’s words, though stayed silent otherwise. Roxas nodded, slightly confused about the growl he let out a few moment ago. Where did that come from? He slightly shook his head, breaking the thought as the trio started their trip, heading towards the town in the distance.

Adamelia picked up some of the snow and packed into one smooth Snowball. She took one look at Dan. “Not on my watch, he isn’t.” She said right before she dropped the Snowball in Flippers face waking him up.

Flipper sat up, snow flying off his face yelling. “Wait! Who are you? Come back!” Dan and Adamelia exchanges a look and both said the same thing “Uh..what?”

Flipper took one look at his surroundings and sighed. “Sorry, just a dream heheh...” Flipper stood up and reviewed the damage, one of the windows was broken from the impact.

Flipper looks at the destroyed invention and quickly changes the subject. “Oh dang it, I’m going to have to show this to Gary...” Flipper said before he ended up pulling out his Wallet to pay his savings to fix the damage.

Dan quickly pulled out his wallet and cut Flipper off. “Don’t worry about it. I’ll pay”, he said as the brown leather case jangled.

“But... I should pa-“ Flipper said before Dan started speaking again.

“I already told ya, I’m doing it. You and Adamelia get those pieces to Gary before I make you do it.”

Flipper smiled “Thanks Dan.” He and Adamelia started picking up the pieces.

“No problemo”, Dan said smirking already walking through the Pet Shop door.

It was nighttime. The stars glimmering over all of Club Penguin as Flipper walked home to his igloo. As soon as he opened the door his Puffle Puff greeting him at the door, Chroma the rainbow Puffle was already asleep. “Hiya Puff, I had a dream of you today.. and yes it’s one of the “memory” dreams I always have.” Flipper yawned “As if the world is trying to tell me something important. All it does to me is make me ask more questions.” Flipper lied down on his couch, there weren’t many beds he could afford. It was fine by Flipper, he liked couches anyway. Flipper gave Puff a pat on the head and yawned again. “G’night Puff.. sweet dream...s”

3. when I was really little like 2 or 3 i was scared of The Phantom Menace because of a) the name and b) i thought Queen Amidala's makeup looked like she was crying blood (didn't watch it until I was 16 i was just scared of the cover)

4. got jumpscared by a "how to get the rainbow puffle" club penguin video and avoided YouTube for several years afterward

5. my little cousin reenacted the first episode of The Walking Dead using Jenga blocks and I was too scared to tell him to stop- I'm still very scared of zombies in general

actually I have been scared by just about everything. every note this post gets I’ll share an old irrational fear of mine bc some of them are silly & I love oversharing on the internet
