What if instead of waking up in the mushroom body, sqq woke up in a doll.

Something something while lbh was away in the abyss, sqq without noticing offended a misterious (demonic-succubi-esque???) cultivator with a weird thing for making dolls. She had dolls all over her secret workshop that she very kindly let him into when she heard about the famous Xiu Ya sword being in the city.

What she wanted of him? Who knows, sqq couldn't bring himself to care. She probably wanted his money or try to steal his hair, the hair of those dolls seemed very much like real hair, although he had to admit the level of details on these dolls were amazing.

(she wanted to trick him into buying one of her cursed dolls and steal his life energy little by little, but got wifebeamed by widow sqq during their conversation about how talented she was to be able to make so many dolls, and without really understanding he rejected her with little to no emotion on his face)

So she cursed him, and since sqq didn't feel anything bad at the moment he thought it just didn't work and left, not sparing the curse a single thought after their encounter.

The rest of the story goes as usual, excep that after he self detonates his soul doesn't go into the mushroom body, instead it got directly into the shape of a doll in the workshop of this woman.

His first thought is thinking someone snitched the mushroom body bc wtf wasn't he supposed to wake up under the dirt??? Why this place smells slightly familiar? Like paint and humidity and floral perfumes?? and why everything looks fucking giganourmus?!?! A teapot should NOT look that big from his position....Oh no, did the mushroom body turned out as small as a squirrel? WhAT is happening?!

And then he looks at his arms and legs, and he has joints. White paper skin with joints in his wrists, elbows, torso, waist, knees, feet. And he panics, a lot.

The woman who cursed him starts monologuing about how she trapped him now, and you are mine, I made this doll specially for you master shen, this is my revenge for your insolence to leave me yada yada- Sqq stoped listening a while ago.

Somehow he manages to escape from this woman and now he is roaming around as the size of some apples. Everything is huge. Everything is dangerous, even the grasshopers! And this body is fragile! He can't feel heat nor cold, neither hunger or other things, but he is useless with no spiritual veins inside, and if someone is not looking carefully, they might crush him. And the way back to cq is gonna be a hell of a trip! But he needs airplane to fix this. He can't stay as a doll forever! He needs a mushroom body and then fly into the sunset far from this mess! Adiós! Goodbye! So his new plan is to infiltrate into cang qiong, look for that rat and disappear. Sneaking into some disciple's pouch must be enough to break in.

Something something it only had passed a few months since lbh stole sqq's body and everything is still very fresh. CQ mountain is a hot mess. Sqh frankly needs to lay down and take a nap. Lqg keeps figthing with Lbh practially every day and coming back beaten bloody, he has his king pestering him and a lot of paperwork to do, Lbh is a pain in the ass, Yqy is really close to snap and start a war with HHP, and he knows nothing about his bro. So yeah. Such a great time to be alive.

It was the first day of classes after the training camp, Yachi had Y/n’s suit fixed during the weekend and the hero couldn’t wait to wear it again. Y/n had skipped her manager duties to go for a swing through the city, leaving the team with yet another dumb excuse and asking Suna to get her bag because she couldn’t possibly bring it with her.

Now Y/n is sitting on top of the gym’s roof, feet dangling and fingers tapping away on her phone. As she spots Suna and the twins exiting the gym, she’s quick to place the phone in a pocket in her suit and jump down. She follows them from afar, waiting for the twins to leave so she can walk with Suna.

The three guys are talking animatedly about who knows what, Y/n can’t hear them from where she’s standing. She watches as Suna says something that irritates Atsumu right away, gaining a loud laugh from Osamu. The girl gets closer as they reach the point where their roads split. Suna would now cross the road while the twins would continue on the left.

Atsumu says something that Y/n can’t quite pick up and he gets an eye roll from Suna who waves his hand, ‘See you tomorrow,’ he says and turns around to step into the street without really checking his surroundings.

Suna hears a clacson and he hears the twins screaming his name then in less than a second, from the middle of the street, he’s back on the sidewalk. There’s an arm around his waist and the twins both have a shocked expression plastered on their faces.

‘Woah there, be more careful when you cross the street,’ Y/n removes her arm from Suna’s body, ‘You’re too pretty to walk into traffic,’ she says — Atsumu’s mouth drops.

‘Right,’ Suna says, avoiding the girl face, trying his hardest to hide his flustered state, ‘Whatever, what are you even doing here?’

‘I was just passing by–’

‘Yer Spiderman!’ Atsumu points at the hero in disbelief.

‘Close that mouth, flies will get in,’ Osamu says to his brother, ‘Don’t mind him,’ he says to the hero.

‘Shut up, Samu!’ Atsumu snaps.

Y/n chuckles at that before deciding it’s been enough time around the twins, they might get the idea that spiderman is way too similar to some girl they know pretty well. ‘It was nice meeting you two, time to go now,’ she smiles awkwardly then turns to Suna, ‘Should I accompany you home?’

‘There’s no need,’ he mutters, still embarrassed by what happened earlier.

‘I’ll still do it,’ she says, ‘None of us would want you to get run over now, would we?’ she then furns to the twins who nods eagerly at her, ‘See? Your friends agree.’

‘Alright,’ Suna sighs — and then throws a glare at his friends — ‘But no swinging,’ he says.

The girls scoffs, ‘No swinging,’ she waves at the twins then starts walking away with Suna by her side.

lloyd is feeling upset and guilty? Ronin sits him down and gives him therapy. sure, a bit rough on the sides and he still makes snarky remarks, but makes sure that lloyd hears what he needs to hear. it leaves lloyd feeling a lot better about himself.

Ronin's family is sort of a Spy x Family type thing. He's a thief, and his wife pretends to work as an employee at city hall but she's actually receiving secret missions from the government. they aren't exactly rich, so they both need to work dirty jobs to get money. they end up finding out about each other's identity but they laugh it off and help each other with missions sometimes.

Ronin's daughter is a lot like nya. she's a machine fanatic, good at judo, can steal your wallet in an instant, and insanely smart. she's very aware of what her parents' real jobs are but keeps her mouth shut bc she loves them both and knows that theyre doing it to keep her alive.

her dad disappears for days or weeks at a time but he always comes back with her fave things (probably speckled with blood but she doesn't care) and makes sure to spend time with her afterwards, so all's good.

Basically You’re picked up and used by every dangerous criminal within the clans due to some alliances they had to create due to some members messing up the previous alliances. After the three took a break from you, Sukuna pushed Yuuji towards you. Todo just follows along, trying to make sure Sukuna doesn't kill Yuuji as they just don't know what Sukuna could be thinking at times like these.

You lay a top the bed, sheets strayed, your hair messy, your whole body sweaty and broken, you entirely were weak, and Yuuji couldn't stop saying sorry to your fucked out face. "Let's see what you got."

You didn't feel anything for a few minutes until Todo broke the silence. "You've got to do something, brother, you know I'll back you up."

Yuuji just continued to stand there. If he were to fight Sukuna with Todo on his back, he wouldn't know who else would fight with them. Todo would lose everything he already has and would blindly die for him, which he would never ask for. But if he were to go through with fucking you again for Sukuna's enjoyment, Todo would also have to add himself into the situation. This double edged sword was going to stab him either way, but which would hurt you less?

"Don't take too long..." The leader made motion that he was going to start walking towards you two. "NO." Yuuji covered you on the bed, staring off back at his older brother. Todo comes behind Yuuji, putting a hand on his shoulder before giving him a look, and sighing understandingly as he stripped off his shirt.

Todo and Yuuji's was almost awfully awkward at first. They just felt bad, not being able to tell if you were even conscious anymore and continuing to do to you what they were doing.

Really they weren’t allowed to stop until Sukuna was satisfied. Until Yuuji was sobbing, begging him to give you and everyone else a rest. He was asking what would it take to stop this?

The older brother taunts, “Maybe we’ll keep her til she births one of our children, or multiple if she can create sufficient and strong offspring. I don’t know, Yuuji, should I start a farm because of you? I heard the Zenin clan is somewhat similar…”

“Please, please, Sukuna what do you want?” He was breathless. “This has to stop, you can’t-.”

He stops his younger brother, “I have, I did, and I can continue this for as long as you both live. I think that may be the conclusion I’ll come to, don’t you think it would be fun to be an uncle?” His big hands caress your stomach, feigning tenderness to his soon to be child or “sibling’s” child.

- You go back to your room where you stay in for a week.

- A random night, someone breaks in and tries to kidnap you and you didn’t know who it was, obviously you weren’t going with them without an explanation.

-That caused you to fight back as your dealing with everything so far, you were getting pissed being treated like a doll. The person who broke in gets captured, just before he says “Yuuji’s waiting outside, trust me.”

- Sukuna's family come in trying to make sense of the situation and the others had captured the mystery guy

- That's not before he throws you to two female ninjas. They secure you quickly and run back to their master Toji.

- their clan/gang is super powerful, the twins you can guess are Maki and Mai, and Sukuna (the new head of one of the three big families that control the large part of the area, the head of the Kamo gang) had just kidnapped their son, even if he did happen to barge in.

- Megumi’s been friends w Yuuji since they were kids but they never shared that.

- they met bc they were fighting bc yuuji was taught to fight ppl who give them looks (Sukuna wanted him to protect the family name no matter what, and megumi just had that face… and when they realized that they were part of the other side they had to come to extremes before realizing they were different from their families.

- they knocked each other out senseless and somehow one was still alive, megumi sat with yuuji while he regained consciousness and they started to talk more. Battered and bloodied but Yuuji finding the humor in it while Megumi thinks enough to like his character and realizes he’s just a big strong idiot.

- Maki and Mai are close, as sisters should be and they both have their loves (nobara and momo) and we all have to go team up with the gojo clan in order to make sure this trade off is safe and megumi and yuuji aren’t dead

- because now yuuji is with you at the toji clan too, it was supposed to be just you getting captured and then yuuji leaves to live his own life but now he’s in front of toji saying it was his fault that megumi’s now with his brother (sukuna)

- Yuuji explains that he and his son were friends since childhood, he says everything and everyone's on edge bc toji does what he wants, whenever, whatever, really anything for money.

- He says he knows he doesn’t have money, but the only thing he does have was something they both risked their lives for, so toji gets curious and wants to try you out.

- Toji fucks you senseless, making you think the train ran on you were more merciful. He was trying every hole, every position, just dressing you up and doing whatever he could with you, you were actually at your limit with him, enough to bring you back enough to start fighting again. You were getting sick of it, actually you think you were getting sick.

His inconsideration was on par with Sukuna's, though Sukuna cared more about his new objects while Toji wants them to know their place and to leave when he tells them to. He had to know why they would do all that for you//how did you survive so long in that clan he just has to see how durable you are and he’s LOVING IT.

- He asks you what you’ve been through and you don’t respond so he hits you again and again but you don’t cry so he does it AGAIN and you flinch enough to stop him, and start taking off his pants. His only response was "e’s like "Oh so they already trained you."

- You suck his dick and he pulls you up to kiss him, by your neck and places you on his dick and fucks you in the air, using gravity to its full advantage, that was the start of it all before the days of relentless attention and use, you were more sore than any of them have put you in. The hitting, cuts, just the amount of violence he's integrated into your sessions felt like training again, but worse.

- He’s wondering if he could keep you as his slut but remembered that it would be stupid to start a war when his kid couldn’t keep it in his pants. He blames Megumi for having a cold heart compared to his father's icy one.

- Toji makes up his mind to help and plans to betray/kill the sukuna clan when they get megumi back bc he doesn’t care but doesn’t say that.

-He plans a meeting with the other clan the top three have been fighting over the position of this location for years and now and ofc they’re all on edge.

- Gojo comes to the meeting with his clan, they’re not worried bc they know some of their clan can befriend some of the others involved. No ones been dead so they have some sort of unspoken treaty to leave each other alone but they never asked much from the other ever.

- Gojo settles down with his group, smug and tired bc everyone needs them to fix other peoples' problems for them. The community relied on the Gojo Clan to protect them when they also work with the Kamo and Zenin gangs, the people outside are just as gullible. He sits down and asks what could big ol Toji need from him,

- “It’s Megumi”

- Gojo drops his smile. Their other unspoken alliance was when Megumi was beaten up at a really young age bc of his status and itadori happened to be there too (same elementary school). Gojo beats the fuck out of the people who targeted the kids/second to heir the clans, and left, but Megumi finds him and asks why would he help them.

- Gojo said he can’t have his competition get angry, his people are at stake. (referencing to the shifting power in-between the gangs that they didn't know about yet, and that his person was leaving his clan to join the other, he didn't know why he was doing anything anymore at that point but he couldn't let more powerless powerful children get hated on.) Megumi says thank you and takes Itadori back near his gang before disappearing back to his clan.

- Gojo actually has been in contact with his friend who's joined the other clan. That's how he knows what's usually going on with them to keep them rangled up and behaving as much as they could to not cause trouble or cause attention to groups like theirs.

Gojo and Geto were very young when they met, and since their lives were everything but normal, they were given the chance to take in more young bodies to add to their clan. They raised them together, but geto left.

Gojo begged for days for him to reconsider, they day he left he was inconsolable, especially since he took the twins too. Geto couldn't separate the girls, but he could separate himself from Gojo, in his head it's to help Gojo in the future because of the power he'll have.

Gojo didn't care about that, he didn't want help he just wanted Geto. That was all he needed, he had decided. He could have ruled the world and done it confidently if he had Geto by his side, but things don't go through when you're young, and now you're about to catch as many years he hadn't been able to get out.

- He's not nice at all when you're under his care. With Geto leaving at a critical age in learning, his feelings had been all over the place. He was completely disordered, his goals and morals and everything went awry, with the years he couldn't get himself out of the timestamp of when he knew happiness.

- So he asks you about Geto, his best friend, the only one that could make him feel real again. The one person who didn't do things for him because of his name and status, and yet left with the excuse of protecting Gojo from future evil. It was enough to drive the strongest insane.

- He asks you everything by torture, not too physical that anyone can see. WHen trading you back you should at least look and act like you're in the same condition, if not better than what you were when they traded you off. Just anything that Toji didn't already give you, Gojo would have mindless enjoyment from digging his fingers into the fatter parts of your belly, legs, and forearms.

- He’s only doing this to see Geto again. He just wants to pass the time until he can finally feel good again. He's strong, he's smart, he's beautiful, when would life be good to him instead of him making everyone else's lives better just by being there. It made him coky, it made him secretly weak willed to his own desires, so his processing was different than most.

- He asks u what he looked like and everything about him while fucking you. it was the closest he’s got rn. "I don't know's" made him reel back more, his strikes becoming almost boneshaking and shattering. He was making Toji seem gentle. Now that something he cares about is just a memory away, he just couldn't stop himself.

-You were so close to him, even if you never spoke to him, even if you never saw him in the maybe month you were staying at the Pink haired clan. But his aura seemed to have darkened when you mentioned twins. There were just so many either of you could have known but it just seemed to rile him up more. Seriously you would need a doctor and healing time after this. You couldn't let that happen again.

-There was nothing else to take from it, it was a hell you would only wish for the person already committing it. It made you miss the tenderness of Sukuna and the warmth of Toji, it didn't matter what they did or how you got there, anything sounded better than Gojo being without his favorite things. And you were barely part of it.

re: this party doesn't talk much; i think that narratively, fcg's death isn't the call for them to talk in the way that molly's was? Molly's death happened early and bc of molly, but it was the wake-up call the party needed while separated and to actually begin to work together. bh's have different problems and fcg's death wasn't a result of party but was fcg's decision. so it also makes sense that it's not bringing the group together or anything, it's just mourning

​So I think this is part of it but I also wanted to post this as a full response because I've been thinking a lot about this! In short...having experienced a death within a friend group, people respond in weird ways, and for the most part, with the caveat that this was a friend among my friends from college and she died when we were all adults in various different cities and therefore not necessarily closely in touch all the time, we did not have a big sit-down and go around talking about our feelings. It's much slower. And I've talked a lot with people who have experienced a death within a friend group that was closer. Sometimes the group falls apart dramatically. Sometimes it just drifts apart. Sometimes it's sort of a weird blank space no one knows how to deal with.

I found Ashton's behavior in particular to be really well done on Taliesin's part and deeply affecting. They're exhausted not just mechanically but emotionally, and they don't want to really talk to anyone, but they do very much want some kind of comfort that doesn't require a lot of effort and most importantly, they don't want to be alone. When I had to learn about the (Jewish) religious practices surrounding grief and mourning, one of the things they tell you about sitting shiva (and to be clear this is not unique to shiva, it's just that Judaism has very clear time delineations of the mourning process) is that sometimes you just go there and sit with someone who doesn't want to talk much. His reaction felt incredibly real and natural, is what I'm saying. Grief can be isolating and tiring and difficult to talk about.

It feels right for the others too. Like...we can talk about the rapid pacing but that's been the case for much of the campaign, and no, I didn't like the EXU decision but what's done is done. I think deciding to, as Chetney said in 92, "make it count" seems very natural. I do hope there are conversations in Zadash and/or Aeor but at this point "we're drunk and tired and aren't ready to really feel this", especially since in-world, everything might be over in a week or so, makes a lot of sense. I also think FCG's death has united the party at least in the sense of purpose, and I think some people just dislike that the purpose is "double down on the moon plot." I think at the very least we'll have to visit it when they tell Imahara Joe (and hopefully Dancer, too.)

Ultimately, again, while I do love the episodes after Molly's death, episode 27 only has three party members in it, and episode 30 is arguably more about Fjord and Jester and Yasha being rescued (and on a meta level, welcoming Travis and Laura back to the table after parental leave) and incorporating Caduceus into the group as it is about Molly being dead. A lot of the conversations are about that, and 31 is very much about fucking around in Zadash and doing weird shit! Jester and Veth make Molly illusions not long after while on Darktow! The effects of Molly's death ripple through, quite honestly, the entire rest of the campaign and the grief is very nonlinear. Again, I adore episode 2x30, but I think one should be careful not to overly romanticize it; the party is still very much working through those initial feelings throughout the entire pirates arc, which takes place over the span of a couple of months. Bells Hells might not have months, and it might not get explored to the same extent, but I do think we'll see the effects nonetheless.

I couldn't believe it when I heard the worst crime that has ever happened in my city was going to be made into a fucking hulu drama... I used to be so intrigued by true crime renditions, but this has made me rethink it all. The murder of Reena is something that makes us as locals sick to our stomachs, is still a very open wound to our city and her family and every day so many of us are forced to drive over the Craigflower Bridge, the place where she was brutally murdered. She was 14.

I never plan to watch "Under The Bridge" on Hulu as I really don't need it replayed back to me in a miniseries, but just need to give some PSA's here + gonna give you some recent photos of Kelly/Kerry and her location because she doesn't deserve the luxury of people forgetting what she fucking did:

odile obviously thinks siffrin needs a good feelings jam but she can't figure out what it is he needs to jam about! and then once she does, siffrin freaks out about her pale overtures bc he can't be vulnerable like that right now and loops back.

mirabelle is the more subtle steady presence, instead of making it a whole thing she just. talks to them about how she's feeling, and they seem to reciprocate..? but she doesn't realize yet how much siffrin needs her to be the conciliating party.

sifloop are all over the map, as opposed to isafrin's flipping sifloop are just smearing quadrants left and right. but none of it is really working. loop hates siffrin too much to conciliate him, but pities him too much to be caliginous! but since they have the most info, they manage some pitch-tinted pale moments.

and then act 5 happens, and they all work together to conciliate siffrin down from his rampage!! how deviant and hedonistic!!!

but then mirabelle is the one who actually goes "hey bottling up all your feelings made you lose it, next time talk to me before it gets to that point?" so endgame is siffrin<>mirabelle. and now that siffrin is pacified they can settle into <3 with isabeau. and then obviously a relationship as volatile as sifloop needs a stabilizing influence so odile goes c3< with them, which is also a better fit for her harsher methods of conciliation. and at this point why not get every quadrant filled, maybe they go <3< with euphrasie after all those loops of building hatred but also building respect but also oh my god you were so close to helping but you fucked it up worse. yay serendipity!

i genuinely am not sure what her personality is gonna end up being in the game itself. if i had to guess, i'd say bubbly, with a teeny tiny dash of caustic (both her and Ariel are bitter and cynical, they just deal with it in different ways. Ari tries to be a better person and Wills either lies to herself or drowns in her own wrath). babygirl is a fucking mess, she's not going to fix anyone, in fact i feel like she's the one who needs fixing-

a few extra fun facts: she can't cook or clean to save her life. her apartment is an absolute mess just like her life but she is one of the best sex partners you could possibly ask for so she has that going for her. her style is trendy/stylish cute and revealing clothing, she knew going out to the middle of a forest wearing a mini skirt was a terrible idea, she just didn't care bc getting a few scratches matter less than looking good does to her. she's Tiny (157 cm/5'2" tall) but she's extremely strong bc she's addicted to exercising so she can and will kick your ass at any opportunity.

Fears~ Jasper x Reader

Laughing at the cute pale guy in front of you on your shift at the hospital, you feel happier than you had in years. Jasper and you met while you were on the clock as a nurse. Forks Hospital was one of the closest hospitals outside of the bigger cities. Dr. Carlisle was so busy with the influx of patients needing emergency or urgent care that he hired you as his personal nurse. The position makes charting and caring for patients more efficient. It didn’t take long for you to question why your boss and his adopted family looked so different yet the same. Eventually, Jasper asked you out on a date. He had flirted with you for weeks before but was too shy to ask the true question even knowing your feelings towards him. You found out about the vampires and the tribe shifters. Speaking of the shifters, you lived in La Push. You were able to hide the scent of the vampires due to the pack knowing you work with Dr. Cullen. Outside of your shifts, Jasper texted and emailed you knowing that calling would raise red flags to the pack. 

You grew up with Seth and Leah as their adopted cousin of sorts. Your mom died years ago and your father is on active duty in the Navy. He spent most of your life on duty, so you spent your life on the reservation. Sue might be more comfortable with the idea of Jasper, but you weren’t comfortable telling her. Jasper wanted to bring you to meet his family but you were scared. You were scared of confrontation with the pack and the coven of vampires. Scared that fighting would break out and someone would get hurt or even die. Terrified of losing the only man you’ve ever truly loved outside of your family, even if the feelings developed quickly.  The feelings and emotions, along with the constant vampire/pack problems reguarding the surrounding areas, were enough to strain any relationship.

You found yourself standing in the parking lot of the hospital arguing with Jasper again this week. The rain was soaking you to the bone, but that was not a concern for you right now. One train of thought was Jasper wanted you to get in the car to warm up. He was concerned with your safety, including your health, but the other concern was how you didn’t want the two families to meet. You were scared the pack would tear the vampires apart out of rage since you were basically sneaking around. Jasper wanted Carlisle to talk to Sam first leader to leader. This same argument has been happening for a couple of weeks. Your heart was broken and you couldn’t take much more. Jasper felt this, but he was too caught up in his own emotions to control or cater to yours. You left that parking lot in the thunderstorm, soaked through your clothes and newly single. At this point, you were tired of Jasper bringing up the same fight knowing the danger, and you were tired of the constant argument. After only knowing each other a few weeks, you weren’t sure if the fights were worth the relationship. Today they weren’t.

Weeks Later

Jasper called, texted, and called Sue repeatedly without an answer. He was getting incredibly restless worrying about you. The only solace he held onto was that you were sick with the flu and strep from that night fighting in the storm. The worst part was that Jasper was unable to get to you. Glad that you did have Sue who was more than capable of looking after you, Carlisle was given updates when Sue reported on your health. You needed several weeks off work, but Carlisle was able to send along antibiotics with Sue and a message from Jasper. The letter was left unopened while you continued to heal, but your heart didn’t.

The pack was worried at this point because their little sister was miserable. The physical sickness had cleared while the emotional anguish stayed. Unbeknownst to you, Jasper sought out Sam with Sue’s help. Sue might have been part of the tribe, but you were suffering without your mate. As most new loves go- there are good and bad times, but if it’s meant to be it will work out. There was no need for an argument anymore as the pack willingly met Jasper. A bonfire was held for both parties to get to know each other with acceptance on your behalf from the council for vampires to enter the land. Jasper worked every day to communicate and compromise with both families. You both had arguments still, like Jasper’s speeding ticket from not paying attention. Instead, he was smiling at you and singing to the Beach Boys. Arguments kinda became a communication style, but never in a thunderstorm again.

first: blake had a summer fling with alex turcotte when they were both younger and that does cause some awkwardness with nico because he wasnt aware of their relationship before staying at the lake house. other than that we havent really discussed any other relationships ! but maybe she dates a guy for a year or two before she gets to know nico. the ex lives in nyc and he never really got over blake after they broke up (bc she is that girl🤭). blake and they ex have a few mutual friends and so maybe the ex tries to talk shit about blake and her relationship with nico. blake ends up hearing about it but she doesnt really gaf. nico gets upset about the shit talking though and gets a little possessive if they see the ex out in public. not aggressive though nico will just be extra touchy with blake which she doesn't mind one bit.

second: they are very chill ! their date nights at home usually include making dinner or dessert, painting (they've definitely done that tiktok trend where u paint your partner then do a reveal), and a little self-care spa evening🫶 when they do go out though they like to try new restaurants, see a concert in the city, dance lessons (?). i feel like blake would be obsessed with learning salsa or something and she would def make nico be her partner !

third: blake struggled with her back during her pregnancy ! she had to start PT again but nico was very helpful ! he was definitely lifting her belly, helping her with her physical therapy, etc.

fourth: jack and blake are the sassiest siblings and they 100% match each others attitude. when they were younger they'd get into arguments over literally anything but they would also forgive each other in an instant (still true once they're older). as for favourites, blake is the closet with jack and hes literally her other half but her unspoken favourite is quinn ! blake and quinn gossip like no other. on the other hand, blake babies luke soo much.

fifth (literally do not know how i missed this i’m so sorry babes): i personally think they should have one more but i’ve gotten mixed feedback… what do u guys think? because i totally see them as being a single child household but then again, they both grew up with siblings so i can see them having more babies down the line…

Background:

The music scene in Jackson Roth's hometown was small but lively. In the early days of Iron Revival they shared the same few dingy pub venues with the same few groups of young people with big dreams, weighed down by second- or third-hand instruments. One such group was a gloriously shitty hardcore punk band by the name of Tooth Decay, their lead guitarist a withdrawn, angry kid who, at the time, didn't have that much of an opinion on Iron Revival one way or the other, but was a staple at their shows if only for the atmosphere and cheap booze.

But while Iron Revival shot right out of their home town and into successful music careers, Tooth Decay... well, decayed. Their bassist moved towns, and the more the remaining members tried to paper over the hole left behind, the more they descended into petty fighting instead. After one fateful band practice ended in the three of them physically brawling, they all agreed to go their separate ways. The backup guitarist found a different band, the drummer called it all quits and got a full-time job instead, and the lead guitarist was left aimless.

But time went by, and the sad teenage boy who used to play lead guitar for Tooth Decay grew up, found community, and eventually became a much happier adult woman. Jenny moved around a lot, from city to city, punk scene to punk scene, civil disobedience to civil disobedience. She started and ended a few other bands, but became content to watch the next generation of punks take over - though she kept writing songs in her own time. Iron Revival's success where Tooth Decay had spectacularly failed bothered Jenny for all of five minutes, but getting to brag that they once shared what could loosely be referred to as a “green room” back in the day made it worth it. On hearing about Jackson's new show, she thought it would be funny more than anything. Certainly, she doesn't expect him to recognise her - a lot has changed in the last 20 years or so, after all.

Nowadays, Jenny lives a patched-together, eclectic life in Moonwood Mill. She grows most of her own food and does a little freelance photography just to get by. She spends more time outside than in and likes collecting things, her little trailer less of a home and more of a museum of random shit she's found or made. She knows at least a handful of punks in every city from here to Evergreen Harbour and a good few besides, so whether you need a lock picking, a roof fixing, or some help with your house plants, chances are she knows a guy. She's not one to be fucked with, but she's generally a chill person if you don't get on her bad side.

Idk what that means but I must guess it means talk a lot, sooo here u go:

Ok so, when I was first designing my Oc's, I made them specifically so I could make a game about em, a horror game.

It would be about Jessy, the younger sister, once she turned 18 and got kicked out of the orphanage bc of that, was going to the ruins of the abandoned house that was burnt down, the house that rumors said it was her house before she got to the orphanage.

It was 10 years ago, so no one really cared about it, but bullied her about that anyway.

When she got there, the whole place was all horrible. Graffitied, broken, and ofc, burnt. She wandered around, looking at everythin. She found where the bodies of her siblings were when the incident happened, and labels, that throughout the years were almost illegible due to degradation of them, had the names of em.

Emily died with Mark in her arms, seems she was protecting him from the fire while trying to escape.

William died in his dad's room, he tried to save his mom's pics.

Danny died in the basement with Tyler.

And lastly, Anny died with Jessy in her arms. She was trying to protect her from the fire, and she did, but she didn't survive, bo-whomp.

Jessy, after seeing this, started crying BAD. She was speechless, and horrified. Bc of how hard it was to process for her, she passed out right there.

And here's when the main game would begin.

Jessy wakes up as a 6 year old version of herself, with her doll, Yesi, in her arms. She's confused and doesn't understand shit.

Her surroundings look like how the house looked before burning down, but extremely large. Like she was a lil fairy in the house of an ogre. Everything looks spooky n Sinister 😈

Well, the game would consist in Jessy trying to survive to the EVIL and monster versions of her siblings, while also trying to understand what the hell happened there, while also being helped by Anny, the good sibling that's against the EVIL siblings 🙏🙏

Each room of the house was a personal hell of each of the siblings, having stuff that have to do with their trauma and backstory. Jessy would have to survive to the sibling of the corresponding room, without the help of anny.

The game would've had an ENORMOUS amount of endings, depending on each lil detail you did. Here are some of em:

I've always had this thought and wanted to ask other Tiger & Bunny fans about it, but how do you think the Petrov family was doing after Legend's death? How do you think Yuri got through law school to become a judge while taking care of his mom??

(CW for the theories ahead, dealing with themes of trauma, domestic violence, child abuse, and alcoholism)

First off, I absolutely think Yuri and Olga were not wanting for money at all after Legend's death, even before Yuri became a judge. There were probably no financial worries whatsoever for Yuri getting through law school, either. Mr. Legend was the hero in Sternbild for the longest time, so there was likely a sizeable life insurance policy and inheritance for them.

Also for sure Maverick threw hush money their way because while the alcoholism was bad enough then that meant Hero TV ABSOLUTELY was not gonna let the news out that Legend's death was because he was about to kill his wife and child. Case in point for this one is that when Ben got the info for Kotetsu about NEXT powers fading, Ben only had info about the alcoholism; not that Legend was an abuser nor that Yuri was his son.

I could make an entirely separate post and go on for days about the fuckery I think was going on between Yuri and Maverick, but I wanna stay on-topic for your question. another day... maybe... if its asked...

So... onto the sadder part!

What Happened to the Petrovs?

So... disclaimer: I am NOT a mental health professional... however I am a childhood abuse survivor, so I'm really just pointing out patterns I recognize from my own experiences.

In Ep. 16 of Season 1 when we got Yuri's backstory reveal, I couldn't help but make mental note of his mom and how they interacted. When we first see her, she's not only elderly and disabled to where she needs mobile assistance, but she's also clearly having some sort of memory lapse into a time where the abuse wasn't happening, given her cheery way of talking when she does go into these episodes.

However... When Yuri reminds her that his father is dead, it shocks Olga and kind of snaps her out of it... and her instant response is to start verbally abusing Yuri and throwing things at him.

Yuri not flinching we could first think 'yeah his reflexes as Lunatic are probably making him aware he doesn't need to dodge' but like... what if it's that and that he's used to it...?

I think that the mental condition we see Olga with in the beginning hasn't been going on for too long. If we go off the first movie's timeline of things, Yuri implies that he came to Sternbild and was just appointed as a judge for the city.

Also there's this air in the way Yuri was walking around the house and talking to his mom in S1. Ep16 that makes it feel like this is one of the first times in a while he's been around her. he's also still learning the ropes of being a caretaker for an elderly person, bc as someone who used to work with CNAs and nurses in a retirement home the last thing you want to do when someone's having a memory lapse is forcefully pull them out of it, unless of course the writers for the show themselves just didn't know

All of this to me this feels like Yuri has only just recently come back to Sternbild and moved in with his mom in order to take care of her.

With Olga she obviously was very in love with her husband and adored her son before the downward spiral began. That much is apparent later on in Season 2 where we see Olga (albeit almost permanently in this memory-lapse state) being quite tender and affectionate towards Yuri and acting towards him like she did when he was a child (cue the heartbreaking flashback to how she really really wanted to make the cookies Yuri loved on the night she died).

However, in the moments where she's lucid again and acting negatively towards Yuri, I think this is the truth of their dynamic after Legend died.

Trauma from abuse can do... weird things to people.

Now any of us can sit back and say 'if my child went through the horrible agony of killing their own father to save the both of us I would simply cherish and care for them, RIP but I'm built dif', or 'if my husband started abusing me and my son I would simply divorce him' but... people and legality can be more complicated and messier than that.

I'm not going to get into the semantics on if Yuri's mom was a completely bad person or anything like that (bc the whole theme of the Petrovs is 'there are no only good or only bad people, there's just people), but I'll flat out say that I think a bit after Legend's death Olga was at the very least verbally abusing Yuri.

The complete disregulation of her brain from the abuse and violent death of her husband PLUS all the ways Hero TV was probably covering things up must have messed her up some type of way that she blamed Yuri for their life being turned upside down and was resentful towards him.

On the flipside, on Yuri's part, he absolutely has a deeply complicated relationship with his mother on TOP of how fucked up he is from his father. He doesn't regret stepping in as a child and saving her, but for sure there's a painful wound still stinging in his chest about how their relationship was damaged and never really recovered. With how bitter and toxic things with his mom probably got, Yuri might have left home at some point or was even kicked out.

As for Yuri's personal mental state, I mean the show highlights pretty clearly that he is NOT okay. Yuri has very intense PTSD to the point of constantly reliving when his powers activated and he killed his father to having hallucinations of his father mocking him.

His perception on morality has been pretty skewed to the point of being super vengeful to whoever he perceives as 'wicked', which comes through not just as Lunatic but in his dayjob as a judge where he's known for giving out heavy-handed sentences.

(i mean usually this vengefulness as Lunatic is directed to serial killers or violent criminals, so.... it could be worse, I guess...?).

Now... Back to Yuri and his mom... So for those of us who did survive a toxic family/parent, I'm sure we can look at anyone who asks and say 'lmao fuck my shitty family, I don't care what happens to them' but... let's get real, that shit hurts. Especially like in Yuri's case where the family member wasn't always abusive or at least wasn't in the beginning.

So when the times comes for whatever phone call that Yuri got to come take care of Olga in her old age, I think he was still bitter about how she treated him and was mentally prepared for everything to be nonstop difficult and depressing. And I mean from there we see in the series how things go; exactly that.. But as Olga's mental state deteriorates, in some fucked up bittersweet way her relationship with Yuri greatly improves. Like... to the point where in the very end Yuri was happy to talk to her on the phone and spend time with her. Which again, for those of us that have lived this IRL, is HUGE.

I'm not going to get into Season 2 endgame spoilers, but the ultimate fate of the Petrov family depresses me to no end. I DO like though in S2 Ep20 how Yuri was able to get a LITTLE bit of closure for himself.

I just still maintain a lot of things for him in the end of the series should have been handled differently.
