Bubble- Caine's social media manager! He's a little better with being hip with the kids, up to date with memes n stuff but he also gets attention in...less than convential ways. Think of what was happening with the Norm of the North Twitter account, just weird..weird shit.

Sun & Moon- They act as a duo of sorts on Tik Tok and they make skits and #unhinged humor that is probably liked by majority of everybody. Nobody can tell if they're dating or just friends, since Sun will say the most unhinged shit and Moon will just sigh dreamily at it while reciting a poem or shit. Moon has to stop Sun from responding to hate comments and going off on them and finding their address n shit.

Gloink Queen & Gloinks: The Gloink Queen is one of those Facebook moms who takes pictures of their children(her Gloinks) every time they do anything, even when they're crying, because she thinks it's "cute". She gets fairly popular at first and even gets to sell merchandise however as her audience grows, so does her criticism but Facebook doesn't do anything about it and she continues to exploit her children for views and attention.

Princess Loolilalu- Tiktok influencer that shows the daily life of a royal. She's fairly unpopular but she was the hot topic for a week because people thought she was flexing and she had to explain she wasn't trying to, she was just trying to show the daily life since some people in her kingdom had inquired about it. She gets very low engagement but she admires every comment she gets. She starts to shift towards more crafty stuff after honestly getting a bit bored filming every second of her life and that grows her audience a little bit.

Gummigoo - Tiktok Influencer that make illegal life hack videos and him just working on a farm(I assume he does cuz he gives off cowboy vibes) and he's unintentionally thirst trapping through those videos, which gives him a pretty large, dedicated and possibly a little too obsessed, audience.

Zooble- Youtuber that talks about the most depraved shit that people do in humanity, think like iceberg videos about shitty people online or the dark corners of Reddit and 4chan. Also probably has a second channel where they play *nothing* but Plants vs. Zombies 2 because idk it's funny and they need to do something else to not get entirely depressed

Kinger- He is a Youtuber, techinally, though he doesn't know how to operate a camera very well. Most of his videos are just snippets from his life, cooking some food, badly singing his favorite songs, and sharing a little too much of his life online. Still, he's regarded as Youtube's grandpa.

Kaufmo- A YouTube "prankster" that would do the worst fucking things imaginable(not illegal but..close to it) and one day he did..something..and he got killed for it as a result, it was all caught on camera. He was criticized a lot for doing what shit he was doing and when he died, it was covered but nobody was suprised.

Ragatha- If Kinger is the grandpa of YouTube, then Ragatha is the grandma because she posts a lot of crochet and stitching how tos while also sprinkling in her personality and some of her other interests, like making a crochet Undertale plushie or something.

Gangle- She's a very famous twitch streamer who is...I don't even know really how to describe it but she's very like "uwu" abt everything as her streamer personality yknow? And..I mean..it works, she gets enough donations in a 1 hour stream to pay her rent for 2 months so..as for her content, it depends, sometimes it's horror games and other times it's just chilling with chat.

Jax- Jax is...also...a streamer. He does snuff streams where he gets donations to torture people and stuff. It's illegal but he makes as much money, if not more, than Gangle.

Random question cause I've just seen an event and I'm starting to find idia a bit annoying lol but I do still like him when he makes sense but I wanted to know why YOU didn't like him lol

Okay I give my whole ass disclaimer that I know Idia is a fan favorite and I completely get why. In the words of Hades, I get it. I got it. I got the concept. But I just personally don't vibe with him.

Mostly I think it's because I've known quite a few people with his personality/archetypes in real life who were just absolutely awful, and that colored my opinion a lot. It's a fun concept for a character, very not fun to deal with in real people. Which, tbf, would be the same for pretty much all of the Twist boys. But as a nerd and someone in a very quote-unquote 'intellectual' field of work/education, I have met too many people like this.

But as like, an aside on top of that bias, I can tolerate most traits or flaws in other people, in real life and in fiction. My one, personal, irredeemable, nitpick is hypocrisy. Everyone comes from somewhere different and has different experiences that shape your values and ideals, but the second you start being a hypocrite, you're just proving that it's not the values, it's you being a dick. Idia for a lot of his vignettes etc. is incredibly judgemental of his classmates, while simultaneously lamenting how everyone would judge him for his interests. You don't get to be a dick to people and then be all 'uwu no one likes me' when they call you out on it. Like in the Ghost Bride event! Everyone shows up to save him--intentions entirely good or otherwise--and he spouts off enough ungrateful/mean comments that it turns into all of them basically being like 'fine go die :)' I remember thinking it was the funniest shit, and it was definitely meant to be a comedic moment, but the problem is that he never really recovers from those moments. It's always him being a dick, inevitably getting roasted, and then that's... sort of it.

His one redeeming trait in my opinion is Ortho and his obvious love for him. But like, even that gets tainted a lot of the time. Like in Ortho's vignette for his robes or whatever, he gets so excited to go to the opening ceremony! And when shit goes tits up, Idia just like... refuses to interact with him? To the point that the groovy image is Ortho pressed up against the door just... waiting for him? Ortho would give literally anything for his brother, and yes we're told Idia feels the same, but more often than not he still puts himself first. I'll give my disclaimer that I haven't read Idia's book. I know the gist of what happened to the OG Ortho, but like, I don't have the details. Maybe it gets better. But for the most part, until that book, all I'd really seen was things perpetually working out for Idia whenever he needed it (every event he basically gets what he wants--the new years bags, the wishing star, etc), while never having to deal with the consequences of him being nasty to other people and then just going on to complain more. Which. Ack. It just personally rubs me very much the wrong way.

Again, I completely get his appeal. His character design is absolutely gorgeous and sometimes the guy says some genuinely funny/unhinged shit. My favorite characters have literally tried to kill people and I'm sure drive some people into an absolute rage, so like, no judgment here. He is just very much Not My Vibe. At least, not at the moment. Maybe it will get better in Malleus's book.

Firstly, The Shape of Your Name?? I have a thing for Kazutora, 100%, and it's like, partly your fault tbh

Anyway, I love this fic so so much, because it's 100000x more painful than any normal soulmate fic you've written, and that's saying something

I love Baji so much and this poor boy just does not get a break, not to mention his poor soulmate

And the twisted way Tora is drawn to the reader just ticks all the right boxes, not to mention how his sense of indebtedness towards Baji translates towards the reader - because obviously, as much as he seems to like her, she is still an extension of Baji, the only one he still has

Just, the entire fic is so mouthwateringly delicious <33

I like how this fic is centred around Chifuyu and the fact that he remembers - that he's trying to do the right thing and still fails miserably

I do have a question before I get into it - did he kill Takemichi to get the time leaper power?? Or??

Anyway, the way he tries to keep Baji and Kazutora away from the reader, all for it to amount to absolutely nothing in the end - also the fact that we read it from his pov and see how much it strains him to stay away, it almost seems like he was being punished for not taking the reader when he had the chance - she died because he went against the grain and all that

It's like one big cosmic joke because he tried to do the "right" thing

Also the reader's piece of shit boyfriend?? Man, him getting beat up was satisfying as hell, thank you for that Rhi :))

It was such a beautiful fic, and I loved the attention to detail, and the idea that he remembered bits and pieces from previous timelines

again there was gonna be a full scene but i kinda liked the idea of leaving it more up to y'all imaginations as to whether he went and 'asked' or picked the less noble path which involved a pipe but uhhh, in my mind he definitely went with the latter. more because it was a, i guess, sort of proven method? there was no guarantee that even if takemichi agreed to give him the power that he'd know how to do it, that it'd work properly.

and takemitchy wouldn't have given it to him anyway.

it wasn't all that intentional, but i never really loved (from a narrative side) the whole 'everyone lives and we're all happy best friends forever uwu' ending that we got. ofc i was thrilled my faves got a second chance, and draken and emma got together and takemichi saved his friends yes, but... life doesn't work that way.

i also liked the idea that certain things are just set in stone within that universe, and yes, maybe chifuyu trying to stray too far from that inevitably made things a thousand times worse for everyone involved.

as far as ginji goes.... gbfhdjkjhvfjdks after getting in trouble for making oc's that you guys liked and then putting them through hell i decided to go the opposite direction. initially when i started the fic he was gonna be a loving, good bf but... where's the fun in that? >:)

chifuyu operates on the belief (or at least tries to convince himself) that the reason they did what they did with the reader in the past was that they were essentially broken people. they lost their way, they lost their friends, and as sad and as sick as it was a kind of coping mechanism. they were beyond healthy relationships, and while they loved the reader, that dependency and the fear that she'd be taken from them too made them go to those lengths.

therefore, in this new, shiny timeline where they're all better people without mental illness, trauma and ptsd who don't kill their friends and beat people to death for the fun of it, they should be able to have a fresh start and be better versions of themselves.

unfortunately for him, they're just broken, fucked up people to begin with, there's no changing that.

i think i sort of explained it badly in the earlier ask, because it wasn't like 'oop, there's this pretty girl and we've noticed you stalking her, but hey if you wanna keep her down here that's cool with us as long as we get to share :))' fghdjkdjhvfjdks

in the original timeline they clock on pretty quick – almost from the get-go in tora's case – that something is up with chifuyu and the reader, and when he starts to spiral... they piece things together. they're both incredibly perceptive, even in canon.

between him leaping back and actually physically abducting the reader, months pass. he sort of leaves a trail of breadcrumbs, waits to see the reaction they'll have to that. i refuse to believe that none of them knew anything about the time leaps, even if they didn't remember anything like fuyu does. there is no way loudmouth, awkward as fuck takemitchy (or mikey) at no point said some weird shit that twigged something between their friends.

it isn't difficult to put chifuyu's strange behaviour and his 'sudden' obsession with this girl together with what they know – or at the very least suspect – and come up with some interesting conclusions. chifuyu wouldn't come right out and blurt the whole story, but over time he'd let things 'slip'.

but i also don't think they're all that interested in pushing him for reasons or justification. if chifuyu wants to keep his secrets, fine.

it's not like they don't feel that draw towards her. it's not like they don't have those same, dark, selfish impulses lurking beneath their skin.

i understand people find catharsis in different things, and why people want corrupted heroes or just unhinged villains. i’d be a hypocrite if i said i didn’t get it because i love when a woman gets to be like that in fiction since they’re so often restrained and usually hated when they’re not “nice”

but the way fans glorify the third sem akechi and the ones who think stanning villains means it’s cool to be mean online and brag about how mentally unwell you are is just pure anti recovery

i get therapy isn’t accessible for everyone, and therapists aren’t gods. i get recovery taking a long time, being life long. i’m not saying never be mentally ill on main or talk about the ugly parts. and trauma victims, abuse victims, mentally ill people in fiction with “ugly” traits, they all should have compassionate portrayals too. but i think it’s limiting to only just accept them as villains who have to die, because that’s just seeing the status quo that we already have and trying to make excuses for why this is natural. why can’t think of anything better? why do they always *have* to be villains? why do people assume wanting recovery and to see recovery for these characters, a thing we don’t see in mainstream fiction, is “uwufying” these characters? why are people accepting that it’s either you get “uwu” or you must have toxic villains, and there’s nothing else? i’ve had people tell me it’s ableist to expect only the good victims to heal, and that’s fine, but then why not ask for more characters who have ugly traits who don’t have to be villains? it’s contradictory to say “these characters deserve love and healing too” while we’re in a “redemption and bettering oneself is impossible and bad with villains, it’s better to have villains as just evil”. so why then would people want to see their traits only in villains?

we don’t have any characters like this in the mainstream, especially if they’re also queer coded. only in children’s shows. teen and up media, we don’t see it. i’ve seen people say “good thing akechi is a guy because he would never be written this way as a girl!”, tacitly admitting a girl would never be allowed to behave this way. we just accepted this sexism. fine since we can’t change a company like atlus, but why can’t we reflect on why only male characters are allowed to be this way? why are only men allowed to be nothing but mean and nasty, and never forced to change in order to live, the way women are? that doesn’t feel like a freedom narrative for akechi to me, that just reads like him becoming the same as shido and the other abusers. yet fandom thinks male character who never has to learn regret or empathy for others, and who never has to learn to be better, is something good and not just the status quo and what we want for men. i’ll never see this as some empowering narrative for angry abuse victims when it’s not the fandom wanting him to turn it on shido, its the fandom wanting him to turn it on joker and random people who never did anything to him. that’s not empowering, it’s just being mean. men being allowed to just be cruel their entire lives with no consequences is just the same old patriarchy, and no, i’m not ableist for not liking him for this. i would probably change my mind on him if he actually grew up, but the fandom doesn’t want that.

i just think the entire “i stan villains oooh i’m so mentally ill i want to kill and maim” type of posting here is just as anti recovery as the “i’m trash who can’t go anything” era. i know shit sucks everywhere right now so i’m not surprised this is a thing, but stop framing it as empowering or cool or funny. it’s actually embarrassing watching so many adults talk like “welcome to my twisted mind” people just because they’re to kin some male villain

I think it's kind of hard to have an "unpopular opinion" with Neo since her fanbase is so varied—there's so many different ways people characterize and interpret her.

The only thing I can really think of is perhaps how I characterize her? When Mu does inevitably find out, she 1. Freaks out a little because of Hat's eyes, she thought she was possessed or something. And 2. She makes a small comment about how this miiight hinder their rebellion, but Hat seems pretty chill, so no biggie.

Bow had to do the whole mud monster mission, because she refused to purposfully lead hat into a mud patch (hat was upset about that)

The Mafia Boss gave his normal speech, and then paused as soon as he realized Hat was blind. It was kind of awkward, but Hat assured him it would be rude not to fight her (plus, it's the true way of the Mafia, no way was he gonna give up)

The fight went relitivly well, except the sand bags were a huge problem for hat. Luckily Bow was there to help out with that. (Mostly by warning Hat or tackling her out of the way)

Deadbird Stuido is a DEATHTRAP. So many random ledges, and traps, and bombs, Bow nearly had a heart attack trying to keep Hat alive there. (Hat was having all sorts of fun)

DJ Grooves thinks that the two make for an adorable duo, and would love to have some diversity amongst his actors.

Conductor, still screaming about Grooves cheating, doesn't see how being blind could hinder the two in anyway, and basically demands that they help him out.

The parade was chaotic, mostly because Hat was on Bow's shoulders the entire time, waving her cane around like she was conducting it.

Train Rush was basically the same thing, except with a lot more screaming, running, and throwing Hat to the nearest safe place.

Now fighting the birds was... pretty normal. By this point, the respective fighter was preeetty unhinged, and didn't really seem to mind fighting either of the children.

Hat basically had to just run around most of the fight, and then dive in to hit them when they hit the floor, while Bow would catch them during other times, like when they had the knives. (Bow also helped Hat dodge the disco ball & falling lights)

Snatcher's origanal trap scared the living daylights out of Hat

Snatcher, being the equal employer that he is, had no problem taking Hat's soul

Hat had some pretty choice words to say to Snatcher, but he made it pretty clear that he wasn't going to care/listen to what she had to say.

Bow let hat swing around the beginning parts of the well (where you get the hookshot) for a while.

Bow ended up carrying hat kid on her shoulders again, but this time Hat got to use the hook shot when needed.

Mail delivery was super fun for them! Bow would drive and Hat would throw/deliver mail by hand.

Vanessa's manor was a NIGHTMARE. At one point, Vanessa almost grabbed Hat. The only thing that stopped her was when Hat delivered a quick cane swing right to Vanessa's face. (Which she was not happy about at all) luckily, they made it to the attic in one piece.

Snatcher's battle was.... hard. Really hard. Hat couldn't tell where the lasers were until after they exploded. Really the only move she could properly dodge on her own was the one with the minions.

Moving on, Alpine skyline. That one was weird... it was a mix of very dangerous and super fun, plus, Hat loved the zip lines. (Though they made her a little dizzy)

Mu's whole tower thing really wasn't all that bad. Her fight on the other Hat damn near killed Hat, but with Bow's help, the two of them made it.

I'll never come around the fact that when defending the idea of making prostitution illegal, anti prostitution feminists rebuke the argument that prostitution will STILL exist and making it illegal will make this activity less safe for prostitutes by saying that ultimately what matters the most is to legislate to end the commodification of the female body, but when talking about abortion they conveniently bring the same type of "you can't totally erase an issue so what's the point of criminalizing it" argument, saying that criminalizing abortion will make them less safe for women? why is that so hard to grasp that what's is at stake here is to stop retrieving from unborn babies their humanity & right to live?
