About Zayne's nightmares...

The most unrealistic thing about Zayne is that he's a functional working adult that seemingly has put his life together at 27 not because he's young or a prodigy but because he's said to have nightmares since he was 12?? Like... I feel like this theme might be a bit overlooked but just think about it deeply, having constant nightmares fucks your mind like really REALLY bad, I can genuinely say this by experience and also as someone who has had trouble to have a healthy sleeping schedule since I was at highschool (like, for example, right now, I should be sleeping instead of writing this...).

There was a time I would have nightmares almost everytime I went to sleep during a really hard time in my life. Of course, the topic about those nightmares was almost always the same, not like the nightmares repeated themselves but they always revolved about the same things that I was actually working in therapy at the moment. Back then I was jobless and medicated most part of the time, I was pretty dysfunctional.

I suppose that's why when I listened to "Fragmented Dreams" for the first time it was the time I said "Yeah, this is my man". I love how he's always nagging MC about sleeping early because I know by experience that not sleeping properly can mess up with your mind pretty bad, and probably he knows it too. It truly is a showcase of love how he worries about her sleep like that and it also showcases how strong minded he is for enduring too much stress and remind kind constantly.

I love how healthy he is. I like to think that he's overcome all the stressful stuff he's gone thru bc of his discipline and healthy life style, but realistically it would take him some more to deal with all of that.

Yes, all of the guys have been through some very rough stuff and they all need therapy, but my point with Zayne comes with the fact that not having a good sleeping schedule and on top of that having constant nightmares can mess up with your perception of reality and induce you a bad depression or other mental health issues. Everytime I remember Zayne's main story branch when they're trapped in Zayne's dream and MC leaves him alone and he starts listening to Willian, Georgie and his Mom so he has to remind himself "It's not real, it's not real" I deeply feel that and I just want to hug him so bad :(

I think I'd like to see a card where they explore the consecuences of their past in their psyche more deeply. I can't help remembering this post which was one of the first posts you unlock with Zayne:

It was there when I just knew that even if he looked quiet, he had a lot to say but didn't know how to express.

Another thing I'd like to highlight about this is that actually I love the emotional maturity that Zayne displays about dealing with such issues like nightmares, traumatic experiences and literally being exposed to see people dying 24/7 while being someone that feels a lot yet says little. He's dealt with this the best way he can, no wonder why he came to be quite serious and inexpressive or sarcastic. Not allowing himself to express other emotions than seriousness or sarcasm was like keeping himself in check so he wouldn't spill everything he feels and considering how stressing is his job already, it just makes sense, but that didn't mean Zayne didn't feel because he feels too much and too deeply and worries sick about ppl and especially about MC.

Of course, bottling up his emotions wasn't the best way to deal with them but he never used any unhealthy coping mechanism neither, like alcohol, for example (My teetotaler King ❤️) etc. Yeah, his workaholism isn't exactly healthy but not something toxic to his mind and relationships, and I've always had a feeling that he's a big foodie and addicted to sweets to give himself that boost of serotonine he needs so bad.

That's why he compares MC with sweets, being her his favorite dessert, bc she's brought all that serotonine to his life naturally and has helped him let go little by little. When he opened to her about losing Dulcie, I had a feeling that Zayne always wanted someone to listen to him but he didn't know how to ask for it and ppl around him was too afraid to even dare to suggest it. I think even in one of his anecdotes, it is said that sometimes Dr Noah wanted to tell him something but at the end ended up saying nothing.

The fact that Zayne bottled up his emotions didn't mean that he wouldn't willingly share them, he wanted to but wasn't used to it. With MC, he's slowy started to let it go and enjoy life more, allowing himself to be sad in front of her, to express his fears (about losing her) or to express his childish tantrums and indulge in his softest side. That's why also she's not only his favorite dessert but also his best painkiller ❤️

And just to finish, I've always thought this quote by Kafka fits him so well:

"Remember, you should sleep more than other people, for I sleep less than most. And I can’t think of a better place to store my unused share of universal sleep than in your beloved eyes."

this made me remember that bed post, of how couples sleep Vs how single ppl sleep. Single ppl often have their bed up against the wall, cause it saves space and they don’t need to worry about falling off the bed, while couple usually have their bed in the middle with the headboard against the wall and the sides not touching anything, and that makes it easier for one of them to get up without having to disturb the other. This made me think… it would be such a yandere thing to do to have the bed pressed up against the wall anyways, so their darling can’t leave without them knowing or waking up. It just feels like such a subtly controlling action, where the darling wouldn’t be able to even go to the washroom in the middle of the night without the yandere allowing it. I mean, they prob would have had to wake up the yandere anyways if the yandere hugs them in their sleep, but this is still make the darling feel even more confined mentally, because they know that there is no way that they could sneak out so they would stress over whether they should wake up the yandere or if they would be able to tolerate it till morning comes. It makes you wonder if the yandere did it on purpose or by accident, especially if the yandere lives in a spacious house so there is no actual need to press the bed against the wall… ah, I just think it makes for a very nice small detail in this kind of scenario ☺️

I can totally see yans taking advantage of that. Two entrances to the same bed are just taking up sooo much space (even if the room is completely empty otherwise, hehe). Why not make sure the darling has to do impossible aerobics to get on top and over their captor if they want to get out? Oh, the darling is such a tease, accidentally loosing their footing and waking the yandere with the beautiful sight of their darling on top of them. And then there's the wonderful spiel of:

"I just need to go to the toilet."

"Sure you do, darling."

Even if he yan knows the truth they just grip their darling's waist, keeping them in place and teasing them a little before allowing them to finally get off their captor and to the bathroom, the yan always following of course, yawning but excited to be up with their darling.

Or the very clingy yans that cannot imagine sleeping separately from their darling, even if the darling is sweating bullets because it's so damn hot in the room and locked in the yan's arms around them. They already abstain from drinking before going to bed, knowing they won't be able to free themselves of the yan's hold, so now they just hope to pass out from heatstroke or dehydration 'cause they are so fucking tired but can't sleep.

And then, of course, there's the aspect of being able to watch their darling all night long. It might take them a while with their captor staring down at them for hours to no end. How could they sleep with their sweet love right next to them? Pass up the chance to leave fluttering touches all over their bodies and whisper sweet nothings into their ear while they dream (hopefully of the yandere)? Never! They're just looking out for you—protecting you even! But the pleasure is all theirs, and the yan soaks up ever little utter or whimper from their darling, drunk on the vulnerable sight of their most precious darling. ♥

Oh, and can you imagine, those really mean yandere that drug their darlings? They are so freaking overjoyed when their darling is searching for any kind of comfort, after the yan put them into bed, while their brain is a huge mess. Darlings that cry and sob, but then bury their face in the yan's chest and the yan just instantly has a huge grin on their face as they pat their darlings head and rub their back, telling them everything is okay. They try to be empathetic but they just can't stop grinning, loosing their freaking mind from excitement. Yans who get so fucking hard/wet from their darling inching as close as possible to them, scared of some imaginary monsters they are trying to hide from, not realizing the monster is right in front of them.

Last but not least, sharing a bed doesn't just mean sharing a mattress. There's also just one blanket and one pillow, and the darling will be forced to stay near and rest their head on the yan's arm or chest. There's no escaping that, so they'll eventually admit defeat due to being so tired. But the morning after is when things get really interesting. When the mood shifts from sleepy to horny real quick, the yan not wanting to lose the warmth they shared all night, as always insatiable for their darling.

ok. biting the bullet. doing a roger doofenshmirtz "analysis" (visions that come to me in my dreams) bc like 3 ppl liked the idea. i should preface and say this is a kids show so my "analysis" is literally me turning breadcrumbs into a cake. it's more about how i immediately read into these things during my watch. if you dont like it, don't tell me, i'll cry.

i'll start with one statement that describes roger to me: i believe he is a person that lacks the ability to form deep, long-lasting relationships and can only use his charm and skills (something he developed so to stay on the good side of his mother) to make people who don't truly know him like him. no matter how well-meaning he may or may not be, he is self-centered and self-serving in many of his actions.

his characterization is too inconsistent to say if he's well-meaning but a bit clueless in his relationship w Heinz or more malicious. i try to find a nice middle ground here but full disclosure i am more fond of him being well-meaning that still looks down on Heinz a bit. (i find this more compelling than the comically evilness of how Heinz's parents treat him.)

i am of the opinion that being the golden child of the Doofenshmirtz family can only bring you so far- they're terrible parents all around and i highly doubt Roger got out of there unscathed. Also- and this is important to say- golden children are abuse victims too. (also, like all things in psychology, these terms are messy at best and inaccurate at worst. while the SG/GC dynamic w/ Roger & Heinz is more stereotypical, it's important to note these things can not be so succinctly summed up in a simple label.) (also i'm coming at this from an outsider pov- my family is messed up in different ways.)

i feel like my best jumping off point will be their mother: Mama Doofenshmirtz.

i think, besides failing Heinz as a mother, i do not think she has helped Roger succeed in life. y'know. a key part of being a parent.

my answer to "Wdym" is this: Roger, to me, has no close, intimate ties. I don't think him not having a wife and child are very good examples- not everyone wants those things- but how we see him interact with people throughout the show is where i think the best example lies. All his relationships are surface level- the only person we see him with multiple times is his secretary, and i hope i don't have to explain why that's sad. he's popular and attractice and blah blah blah but like??? he's never around...friends. or anyone. you'd think with how Successful he is you'd think he'd be surrounded by more people that sycophants and employees.

[you're about to witness me trying my best not to project my own experience with emotional incest on Roger] i do not think Roger & Mama Doofenshmirtz is healthy because of this. coddling your child and allowing him to get away with shit (writing his name on everything) is not how you develop your child into a healthy adult.

also, similarly to seeing domestic abuse between parents, i think seeing your sibling being horrifically abused will FUCK YOU UP. and i wonder how much of Roger's perfectionism is him trying to ensure he does not end up like Heinz in his mothers eyes. Not to say I don't think Roger loves his mother- but I wonder how much of that love is born out of fear? If you were Roger, wouldn't you do anything to not be literally made HOMELESS in another country before 18?

Also, I think how Roger views Heinz is through his relationship with their mother- if Heinz would just shape up, this wouldn't be happening to him. He doesn't understand that their mother is and has been awful to Heinz for their WHOLE LIVES (or refuses to understand, because to understand is to acknowledge a lot of negative shit about his own childhood and that their mother may not be a good person)

onto the other parent: Papa Doofenshmirtz.

I am of the FIRM, UNSHAKEABLE belief that Only Son was Post-Roger's birth. That is important for this analysis!

Anyways, something I noticed is that when it comes to Roger and their parents Roger is never called their father's favorite. It's always their mother. Part of me wonders if this is more indicative of the writers' view on parental relationships and mothers (even though they do seem to value father-son relationships?), but this isn't a English essay or NYT opinion piece so let's push that aside for a moment.

Roger's relationship with their mother seems to be the thing (along with her abuse of Heinz, but I feel as though that goes without saying) that drives the biggest wedge between them. And I will get to that. But there's never any mention of Roger and Papa Doofenshmirtz's relationship- there is one moment where we see him praise Roger! But he seems to be absent for the most part, only being a cruel, hostile father figure in Heinz's stories.

This has led me to believe that I do not think Papa Doofenshmirtz likes either of his children- at least, not as children. Based on how he acts in Father's Day, his interaction with Heinz is almost friendly. Polite. But more like how you would treat an acquaintance, not your son.

he praises Roger, yes, but once he realizes the gift Heinz was trying to give him, he DOES appreciate it. THIS IS NOT AN EXCUSE FOR WHO HE IS. this is more to show that i think his relationship with his children change as they come of age. he does not like them as children but as adults, he thinks they are easier to get along with. this isn't just me speaking out my ass- it's not uncommon for abusive parents to do this. it's harder to wield your power over someone who is no longer dependent on you.

just straight up HC time: i think Mama Doofenshmirtz shielded Roger away from the worst of Papa Doofenshmirtz's abuse and ire. obviously, having to do this in the first place is fucked up compounded with the fact she only does this for one child.

Idk what I'm doing but I wanna share some quick writing I did of dead chuuya skk to show ppl my writing although rn I have writers block

It was a cold, Saturday night. Dazai was walking through the outskirts of the city. Or at least, what remained of the city. The sky was dark, with only the small, dotted stars shining bright as the heavy rain fell down wildly down, soaking dazai and everything around it. The ground was wet, and the dirt was mushy. His footsteps echo with a little small mushy squeak that comes from his sturdy feet stepping down into the soaked dirt. He slowly walks off the ruins of the sidewalk to the park, he can feel the rain dripping down from his hair down his neck, then slowly soaking into the fabric of his clothes, his face was getting soaked, but he didn't care. Nobody was around, everyone was either hidden away in their houses or ran away. He slowly looks up at the ruins around him..

Now, you may ask yourself, 'Dazai? Why are you in the middle of a park as it thunderstorms and all of Yokohama got destroyed? Are you insane!? ' That's exactly what Kunikida said, everyone did. Why was he in a random park?? Chuuya used corruption without him around. You see, there was a threat of another country bombing all of Yokohama. And chuuya, he decided to use corruption. He knew it was stupid without dazai. And he should've at least waited for dazai to show up, since dazai was quite literally on the other side of the city. And not to mention there was no way he can get there quick anyway, as everyone was running away from Yokohama and everything, all the buses, taxis, everything was down and broken, only trains were working, but God forbid they stayed on their regular tracks, all the trains were heading out of Yokohama. Where he needed to go. But is that an explanation? No, that's the story.

The real reason he's sitting down in the park currently, is being Nakahara Chuuya, the most dangerous ability user, mafia executive, was dead. There he was actually. Dazai slowly steps up to pale body in the grass, in the middle of the park laid chuuya, hat knocked somewhere, jacket gone, body scarred from corruption. He looked so exhausted, even in death. Blood was dripping down his lips, body was already decaying, the heavy rain was hitting against his body, rolling down his face. Dazai weakly kneeled down by him, his hand softly reaching out to hold one of chuuya's hands in a tight clasp, right against his chest. His lips quiver, holding back tears as his eyes shut tight close. The rain pouring down his face makes it easy to hide.. Maybe, this time, he can't actually hide his tears. He gasps out weakly, with a little breathless sigh the tears start pouring down as his head falls down.

Tears and rain pouring down together, mixing in a mess of salty water. He gulps back his tears, saying sadly. "Chuuya.. You promised you wouldn't leave. I guess.. " he gulps and cried out a shaky breathe "I guess, I didn't expect you'd die so young, you know? I hope you enjoy your afterlife. Wherever it may be. " he gently held his face, clearing chuuya's messy, ginger hair from his wet face, gently leaning in and putting their foreheads together, before softly kissing his forehead as well. "Have a good afterlife, chuuya Nakahara." he softly reached back to chuuya's neck, and unclipped the chocker he once gave him while they were younger, he held it close. "You'll always be my friend. " he smiled, wiping away his tears and sighing. "I'll make sure they bury you next to Oda. Then, I'll be able to visit you both every day. I love you chuuya. "

He got up, weakly holding the chocker and looking at it, putting it to his chest, "you were a wonderful person. " he silently brought it to his neck and clipped it on, softly smiling. "You may take the body away now. " he silently spoke to the lower ranked mafia (idk what they're called). He sighs, then turns around to walk off. He looks up, gazing up at the clouds smiling. One of the stars flickers brighter then the others as suddenly a mafia (something idk) chased after dazai, softly saying 'Excuse me sir, what do we do with these? ' she shows him chuuya's hat, gloves and jacket, he softly took them "I'll keep them, thank you very much. " he gently looks down at them, folding up the jacket, putting the gloves on the folded jacket, before putting the hat on. "I guess now I'm the guy with the tacky hats and gloves. how the tables turned huh? " he looks up and spoke to the clouds. He gently walks away from the park. Despite knowing chuuya's dead, he can't help but be relived he can finally rest.

A small talk about the creepypasta Sally williams and the fandom itself.

( TW: OPINION?!?!?! )

As we all know the creepypasta fandom was never perfect, it had its ups and downs. Thus I wanna talk about a character that we all love. Sally.

Sally was created in 2012 and she is a young girl at the age of 12. She firstly was 8 but her creator changed her age to 12 to reasons that I don't want to discuss since they're messed up. Her backstory is truly heartbreaking. She is represented to be a lively, happy and caring young child. She has a teddy bear that's she loves and loves sweets and the color pink.

Now that you know a little information about her, what I wanna talk about is the fandoms problem. The fandom has always been broken, there has always been questionable and wrong stuff in it about litterly anything, even about the characters themselves. And Sally is a victim to that.

From the first time I came into the fandom I saw weird stuff about Sally, questionable art, weird headcannons, wrong ships and the list goes on. She is a child, a minor, she's 12.

"She's a fictional character! " she's still a minor, her being fictional doesn't excuse your weird posts about her nor your weird ships.

Also the ships, she shouldn't be shippen with anyone.

"Sally x Ben" "Sally x toby" "Sally x Jeff" all of those are problematic and any ships with Sally is problematic. Be better and do better and actually make this fandom be an enjoyable place because it can also influence new comers. If a new person joins the fandom and they see wrong stuff they're gonna think it's normal when it's not.

Some people need to realise that "Sally x Ben" is extremely problematic since there is an age difference and also any ship with her is. Also some people need to stop condoning and supporting people that do these stuff, it's sick and wrong.

This isn't a thing that happens to only Sally, it has happened to more characters sadly, it is one of the reasons people leave the Fandom.

The fandom has became a toxic place and there are a lot of new people coming in, mostly children, that want to be in a friendly fandom but all they get is a hit in the face with the cruelty of it. It is not the first time it has been toxic and won't be the last but can we at least try to make it a place we can enjoy? New fans are mostly children, like I said, if they see this kind of behavior and these kind of posts they're going to think it's normal and that'll be a bad influence on them. I know every fandom has its ups and downs and not everyone can be pleased but the fandom used to be so lively and so open minded.

I've seen people judging one another for "wrong headcannons" like... That's what a headcannons is, what YOU think the character does. According to the fandom:

Toby can't be happy ( or any happy emotion )

The creeps can't have a stable relationship

The creeps are abusive

You're not allowed to ship characters that aren't canonical partners

If you don't add Toby's stutter and tics ( in a fic or somewhere else ) apparently you're äbléist

^ BUT if you do somehow you're cringe

If you don't laugh at the fanon jokes you aren't a real fan

You aren't allowed to remind ppl that Sally is a killer too

I'm sorry but what. All of these things are ruining the fandom and that's why many people leave. We wonder why the place is so bad but no one is speaking up nor doing anything about it and the people that do get torn to shreds ( not actually ) by the "fans".

Like I wanted to start this small rant with Sally cuz sadly she is one of the most séggsualized characters in the fandom.

I also want to bring awareness to the MASSIVE BULLYING IN THIS PLACE. Like I said a thousand times already, literal children join the fandom and instead of being greeted warmly they get bullied. They are new, they aren't going to know everything from 2016 to now because frankly I wouldn't know either in a new fandom. Instead of bullying them why not help them? Tell them fun facts about their fav char or help them not spread misinformation.

i'm trying to undo some of the damage caused by parasocial rumors n hater stuff.. i feel like i probably come off as a dickrider and it doesnt help that im the wiki guy on top of that and people probably perceive me as not being critical enough, but i think it's way better to approach things (especially accusations against irl people) with all the facts laid out and with critical thinking (bad-faith interpretations are not critical thinking) and also empathy/believing people's first hand experiences.

i'm mostly advocating for stopping the spread of misinformation and rumors.. but i am biased bc i love aphmau.

it's just really hard for me to hate on jess like some people here do after watching that livestream where she breaks down after talking abt the level of harassment/threats/(now as we learned, stalkers) she got during mcd s2. idk i feel bad for her people are so mean to her :(

idk i just go about the internet as if the creators can see what i say and draw. some ppl straihgt up want to bar the creators from their own fandoms which is fucked up in my opinion. some of you people are proud of bullying the employees which is extremely gross and cringey too. thats just my opinion though

There really are issues with the workplace, a few current/former employees speak up about it. These are issues brought up in just the past few weeks:

last one is just in general that pulls in over the past couple years^ i don't have any sources for the employee who allegedly had ptsd after working at blujay/catface because i haven't looked that deeply into that in particular and dont know where to look for it

i don't really know what to say about the workplace things.. they hired new HR recently so i guess they're working on it.

She doesn't think about how its affecting him at all. Hell, it could even be a cycle bc honestly it already is one. When Katsuki is faced with unruly children he correctly identifies that there's some kind of lead kid (because he was a lead kid at that age, he was a problem child), and then HIS SOLUTION IS TO PHYSICALLY FIGHT THE KIDS, USING THE JUSTIFICATION THAT THAT WAS HOW HE WAS RAISED AND IN HIS OPINION HE TURNED OUT FINE.

This is actually a trap I've fallen into myself, I have recommended a little more tough love against my little siblings because I was treated much more harshly at that age than they are now. I WAS NOT IN THE RIGHT. KATSUKI IS NOT IN THE RIGHT. THIS IS HOW MALTREATMENT CHANGES A CHILD'S MIND. THIS IS HOW IT WARPS OUR VIEW OF THE WORLD AROUND US. Unless he gets some serious SERIOUS help, he will carry these experiences with him for the rest of his life. He might become just as terrible a parent as his mother.

His behavior is not his fault. He is a CHILD. A MINOR. If he was in his twenties and has experienced life firsthand and he was still being a bully for no reason or being physically violent with minimal to no provocation, I would agree that he needs a serious wakeup call. Still wouldnt agree with hitting him, but like yeah he's an adult, his prefrontal cortex is fully developed, he should be self reflecting. But AT SIXTEEN. HE IS A CHILD, A LITERAL CHILD. Hey!! I just read through you're blog and I noticed youre Tobecky kids! I wondered about them! Why did you choose those names for them? and how they were received by both Becky and Tobey?

Hello! And Thank you for the ask. (^_^)v

Ngl, I do get very excited about questions regarding any fankids from future AU since they have been the biggest fixation I have regarding my AU. And of course, plus it's Tobecky.

For the names, for context of anyone who doesn't know my Tobecky fankids bc maybe its been a while, it goes:

-Tori (Anactoria) [The oldest]

-Luis [middle child]

-Matilda [youngest]

(They're on my banner now. The easiest way to tell them apart is by their obvious color coordination) (Tori is in purples, Luis dark magenta/crimson, Matilda aquamarine/green-blues)

But yeah, the names!

I came up with their names about in 2018. Yeah, the same year I got fixated on the Wordgirl fandom. At first, I just had the concept of future AU only going from when Becky and the gang went to college, but I got worms in my head casting a vision of a next generation wordgirl story and of course the idea of domestic older Tobecky shenanigans with kids. And I have been sick ever since...my brain it has not recovered.

At first, I only designed one kid, Tori. Which was initially short for Victory since it fits her character, but then I remembered like a dumbass that there is literally a character named Victoria. And I tried to change it in lore that no....um her full name is actually something embarrassingly unique like Anactoria (based on one of Sapphos poems, because local literature nerd Becky might name her daughter that) so she shortens it to Tori. Where then some ppl mistake that she was named after family friend Victoria, and that's the gag for her name. She's named after a poem subject and real funny that it's from Sappho considering who Tori is lmao, but also fits some of her Greek aesthetics.

Luis. Now Luis was a strange one. As I said, I only intended at first for Becky and Tobey in future AU to have one kid, and I only focused on her character. Eventually (aka like 5 months later), I wanted to design other tobecky fankids since the family didn't feel complete for me just yet. So I thought of a little brother, like a TJ to a Becky. But I wanted a baby in there too, so um, middle child Luis was forced to be/lh. But you can tell with some of his characterization and how the family treats him. He was supposed to be the youngest or at least act like the youngest, but nope, he's the middle kid, but he is the most spoiled. His name when I designed him was Lewis, as both references to the protagonist of Meet the Robinsons and to Lewis Carrol of "Alice and Wonderland" (for another literature reference and cause his aesthetic is fairytales). However, I realized that I at least wanted one kid of their's to have a more Hispanic sounding name since y'know I can't lose the culture here, just because Becky married a Brit. So I just had his name and pronunciation easily changed to Luis! (Not said like Lewis or Louise).

Matilda is funny because her name has not changed at all. From her creation, I always imagined her as the youngest and mysteriously smartest of the family. Where Tori and Luis would be messes, she's the one who apparently has it together. She's the Dexter of the family, born a genius, and acts above her age, like a little scientist. I also made it that she's the one with the unique ability of telekinesis and eventually other psychic powers. And for that, she was named after another iconic smart little girl with such abilities. Yep, her name is refence to Matilda from the book and movie (and ig musical too) (that also counts as a literature refence, Becky was 2 for 2 in the naming, too bad Luis couldn't make it 3 lol). She's also nicknamed Matilde, Matty, and Tilly by her siblings and friends.

As for how Tobey and Becky reacted to each of them...hmm while I could just say that they just appeared one day because that's the funniest answer but not canon. I'll just say vaugley how they reacted to them knowing about a kid/how the kids were when they arrived.

All three are ages apart, mainly Tori, since she wasn't intended to have siblings, and I first had her be 12 when Luis came home, but I retconned that a year ago. Where she was 7. The timeline of the McCallister-Botsford family is kinda all over the place, but I'll make it more streamlined one day. (Grrr, I'm now mad at "Stars that shine in your eyes is what matters" because it implies that Luis isn't born yet when now he should be)

So first things first. Tori. Tobey and Becky, after two years of marriage, wanted a kid. And even though, in retrospect, they probably should have waited a bit, they still had their energetic gremlin. They were prepared, excited, and, of course, nervous. And even with the planning they've done, they still didn't anticipate how much of a handful their first would be. Tori was a chaotic little thing, her half Lexiconian abilities definitely causing headaches. There was also her headstrong personality, which made playtime with her an exercise. Tobey and Becky were really preoccupied with her and their own adjectives that there's even a plot line about how they haven't been romantic in years and realize it one day.

When Tori was 7 and she started to become quickly independent, like her mom was at that age (maybe it's a Lexiconian thing), it gave Becky and Tobey time to think about their family more and how it will be smooth sailing from here with Tori getting older...Until Luis happened. He was a surprise, and unlike Tori, he would be a handful too, but in a different way. Tori never cried as much or fussed when she was a baby. The tiredness of taking care of her was all her bountiful energy. However, Luis was clingy, reactive, and sensitive. He was a heavy crier, and it wouldn't go well if they didn't read him a bedtime story. He acted more typical of a human baby, then his sister (and later other sister). He liked to be picked up or carried. Usually, he would also cling to people like some sort of koala.

4 years after Luis was Matilda. She was another surprise. The thing with Matilda is that as a baby, she was already pretty gifted, both in her mind and powers (which were one). Matilda was born with gradual paraplegia. She was given a few chances to learn to crawl and walk, but by age 3, she did have to use a wheelchair. She had other health problems by her birth, but her and the rest of the family learned to adapt. Matilda and Luis formed a bond since they were only 4 years apart versus Tori, who was almost a decade ahead of them. Surprising since Luis would easily get jealous of anyone stealing their parents' time, but he didn't mind being a big brother now and protective of his sister.

What have I done in this fandom? I'll admit it (again). I bought Pedro’s white pages and socials info via a website. That was stupid. I regret doing it. What was really stupid was that I shared some of it thinking it was for a laugh and your mate, (let's call her Ms Peacock) used it to trade with ppl across the fandom to gain clout and to gain more information about Pedro. I've tried to make amends but it's far too late as it snowballed into much bigger information getting traded. So to attempt to make amends, I decided to get closer to the psychos and report back. Shitty, I know, but at least the right ppl know about the stalking bullshit and Pedro can protect himself better.

6.  MS PEACOCK AND STALKER REDDIT

After sharing his old info with you and Ms Peacock, I realised neither of you were looking into Pedro's old info just out of curiosity. You were tracking him and his friends around like they’re characters in a story. It’s my bad for not noticing the crazy when it was staring me in the face.  I shared info which was traded from person to person in exchange for info that has been used to help Ms Peacock not just stalk Pedro online but get physically closer to him. First, driving past his old house and now, three years later, she’s living "#twoblocksaway" from his gym according to a recent post. Zero shame.

I shouldn't be surprised since she used to frequent his actual neighbourhood even though it was a three hour round trip from her town. Before all that, she told us she used his personal email for a project where a group of us had raised money to adopt an elephant for his birthday. I never did get the info on the elephant since she dipped on the group chat after getting what she wanted. Ms Peacock traded info some of us had given her with others in turn for more info and clout. Just like a fandom Gollum. We didn’t realise that stuff we shared was being traded so it could be added to in order to feed her need to feel near him and grow her influence here. You’ve been part of supporting that behaviour too. When Ms Peacock asked you to find out where Pedro was one day, you went straight to the airline staff and lied about possibly being on the flight in an attempt to get the flight details. You ran right back and gave her what you had. I hope you realise we’ve all been played. Some of us learned our lesson and tried to be better but you stayed with her and you guys took it to another level. When you ran out of info, you created a stalker reddit where you share info you gather through lies and deceit with some real psychos in the fandom. I hadn't realised what I fed into until I saw the levels you guys cranked it up to. Now I see what a bit of info in the wrong hands can snowball into. I have a lot of regret about that. she was definitely a very troubled woman. she used to hit kano and scream and yell over the smallest stuff, like him forgetting to buy something or breaking a cup. and then she'd cry and apologize about it. all canon btw. kano says he could only ever make his mom scream or cry. i dont tend to get personal with my hcs, but my dad's an addict so... idk, ive always sort of imagined kano's mom as someone who struggles with substances. the way he describes her always reminded me a bit of my own dad as a kid so maybe that's also why i sound a little bit apologetic when i speak abt her. kano still loved her, and in the end she throws herself in the way in an attempt to save him. i think she definitely loved him too... as kano grows up and experiences another family with the tateyamas, or maybe even hears kido talk of their own bio mom, he'd definitely know his mom was probably not a good mom. but he'd still be so defensive of her, i doubt he'd ever mention her at all to avoid hearing her be judged. if they found a way to get people back from the daze, these two would have suuuuch a complicated relationship like for real...

kano says she really saved up to buy jewelry, and that her work uniform was "prim and proper". there's a book i really like that's from the pov of a little girl and she describes the neighbors she doesn't have a name for. there's one neighbor the little girl calls The Drunk who's a lady that's always screaming and crying in the stairs and another neighbor who's called The Woman In The Black Skirt, who's a lady that's always walking around in heels to go to work. at one point in the book it's revealed to the reader that the woman in the black skirt is actually also the drunk, and the little girl protagonist mentions that when she gets back from work in a pretend phonecall to avoid speaking to neighbors, she can hear the sound of all her bottles clinking in her bag. idk. i think it's something like this. because kano's wish WAS to stop neighbors from asking him questions or saying things about his mother, like it's evident to everyone she hits him, but i think it'd also be evident to everyone she's a mess. kano was an extremely responsible kid, he'd do groceries and clean his room... i think he'd always help his mom to bed when she was passed out drunk or something. also to be clear i dont wanna romanticize this shit addiction is a horribly difficult thing sooo i dont wanna be like she's eeveel or oh she's a misunderstood girlboss.... i think she is as complicated as parents come!

plus all the persian imagery and clothing and architecture associated with xerxes in fma, and I rly doubt there'd be that many references without at least knowing abt the plots and myths the nazis conceived to dehumanize ppl

Unfortunately I don't think that's a question that can easily be answered in one post, let alone by a (mostly) white gentile like me. I do know that Amestris was originally based off England during the Industrial Revolution (Arakawa says this in the first guidebook), but that doesn't really answer anything about Xerxes, huh... Though, it is true that the Middle East is the birthplace of alchemy, so that may be part of why Xerxes is Persian inspired. Maybe? I dunno. It is obnoxious at best that they're all pale and blond though.

At the very least I don't think FMA would be like, intentionally pro-nazi given the whole plot of "military dictatorships and ethnic genocide are bad", but still, that doesn't mean it's immune to flaws and propaganda, whether intentional or not. If there's something that makes you uncomfortable, that's absolutely a discussion worth having. OKOK IM GLAD YOU ASKED... So I met this classmate who's a dw fan and as we became friends he told me he had his own fan Doctor incarnation. Eventually we started LARPing for fun and I made my own Master, then we started making up tons of stories and that's how they came to be!

ONE DAY HOWEVER... He said. What if the Master and the Doctor were bigenerated?? Yeah from the same entity but the Time Lords erased their memories. And Dhawan!Master knew this but that one bit he never told, the Doctor never uncovered it, and this is part of why Dhawan wanted to become the Doctor. And boy this broke my heart because thE IMPLICATIONS. That'd mean the Master is ALSO the Timeless Child. So now that's canon for my Master and surprise, it's been selfcest all this time except not exactly because they are not the same anymore and they can never be.

So based off that, my Master loves to make a point on how different they are whilst his Doctor searches for similarities instead when he learns this. My Master is convinced that they're destined to be the worst parts of the Doctor forever, whilst the Doctor got "the better part". So why would they make it easy for him? Gallifrey is gone anyways so let's prove they can never be the same. Let's prove they're DONE. And they're immortal too I guess so why conform with having nothing no. They're owed the Universe and they're not sharing. Meanwhile the Doctor is wondering what would be of the Master if they had lived anything similar than what they did, if they're actually the same, if there's any kindness left on them, if they could have become the Master... He's stuck on his past in a way, too, missing companions and simpler times and stuff. And I intend to destroy his hopes of truly enjoying his current self you know?

...so yeah uh we also have companions we're making and we're slowly developing all of this + some random "episodes" (plots. that is) and one of them is Dak. Dak is well, kind of a Dalek kind of not. White male fandoms r a mess and a lot of them do too much when it comes to the gf, Austins fans r the same. Bt Kaia also is *allegedly* a Zionist, does seem to social climb and is seen as a bad actress, beyond the Austin fandom lol so i get why folks dnt care for her. Like any fandom, there are some who strongly dislike who Austin is dating rn, but with Austin's fandom, I get the impression that it's more so who they think Kaia is that they don't like. I don't get the impression that they're against Austin dating ANY woman, I just don't think they like him dating her.

Some fandoms out here can get real territorial and don't even want the guy dating anyone.... (like Chris Evans' fandom for example lol 🤭) and that's usually because the actor stayed "single" in the public eye for way too long, so now, when he does start dating someone seriously, his fans don't know how to handle it lol 😅

I don't get that impression from the Austin fans. Most fans were already used to him dating Vanessa for years, so it's not like they don't want him to date anybody. I think most people DO want to see him with a great woman! 👍🏾 Most of us just want to see him dating a genuinely sweet, talented, and kind young woman, who is (preferably) close to his own age 🥴, and doesn't seem like a clout-chaser or attention-seeker. In addition to the things you've already mentioned, some fans also have picked up on certain things re: Kaia's personality that are not congruent with the type of person they would prefer him to date. But that's a topic for another day. 👀

Other fans just don't think he looks as happy in this relationship as he has in others, and they wonder why he's still in this thing when they both sort of seem a little "meh" about each other at this point lol 😆

Anyway, I don't hate the girl, I just think they are a bit ill-matched.

And like you said, nobody HAS to like her just because he's dating her. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I def don't think fans should be sending her death threats or anything crazy like that, but I don't think fans have to love her. Most didn't really care about her before he started dating her, and they won't after they break up.

Honestly? #REALTALK I know this is a very unpopular opinion in these parts, but I personally think that Austin and Vanessa should have just stayed together, at least until after the whole "Elvis" press and awards stuff was over, and THEN broken up. 👀

I think he should have put a ring on it, and rode the Elvis thing TOGETHER. But hey, that's just my personal opinion.🤷🏾‍♀️ I'm sure their relationship wasn't perfect, and obviously there had to have been some issues if they broke up in the first place, but I just feel like things would have been very different had they stayed together.

With that said, I'm really happy for V and her hubby Cole and her new baby! ❤️ 🥰
