Kurorgiri wanted to sigh, but he doubted the spyware didn't have a two way access and accidentally set the two morons about a breach, and then he wouldn't hear the end of it from Tomura.

But his attention was snapped back into the conversation with the sharp crack of the rage in his heart.

It is with every fiber os self restrain that Kurogiri doesn't imediatelly shut the transmissor with a slam of his hand, instead, he got to the simple task of filing the real names and quirks of the agents still chattering in his ears that he was trying to not even listen, but he could hear his grip on the pen make the plastic creak dangerously.

Finally, he could shut it off.

Yasu Hikaru, Quirk: Sanding. Shiori Katsumi, Quirk: Good Neighboor. transformation and mutation, doctor would like the former and Sensei would definetly enjoy the latter, and their bodies would be sure candidates for more trials of the vessel project.

Kurogiri forwards those to both Doctor, who is sure to inform Sensei, and their usual harvesters of their new target, and now with a turned off computer, Kurogiri exits the room.

The Bar was quiet, Tomura may enjoy violent games with all sorts of visuals of violently doing things, but there is agreement betwen the two that the sounds and "music" most of those port are too grading to any ear.

It is with strides that Kurogiri get's behind the bar counter, he knew like the back of his hand where every beverage and items were, so it was effortless to pick one of the low names in one of the shelfs, it was some sort of beer like one, more to sweet fruit than the everyday can.

Kurogiri slammed it down the sink, not shattering it at first, but opening and closing of a portal pair soon made the somehow soothing clinking sound to the enraged mind, and with the tap water running, he nailed the coffin shut by turning up the garbage disposal, their industrial grade quality soon giving an end to any shards into fine dust and down the drain with the beverage it cointained.

"So, who's dying tonight?" The snapping attitude imediatelly left Kurogiri, turning to look to his ward inputting a series of rapid commands, Kurogiri breathed easy.

They could do nothing to him, they couldn't twist Tomura like Eraser had, and if they tried, Oboro Kurogiri wouldn't save qualms to revert the act and make sure they payed double over it.

"None of your concern, Young master."

"Tsch, fine, keep to yourself, i don't care."

Kurogiri wouldn't dare to laugh at the tension now presenting from his ward shoulders, but he did find comedy in it.

"Could I suggest you go over your studies one more time instead of stressing over this level?"

"Shut it, i got everything and we both know it."

Kurogiri did chuckle at the petulant cute tone of hiw ward.

"Then perhaps you would find okay to invite those two, hot and red ones."

Tomura hissed, but Kurogiri atributed it to the game over screen he just gained then his offer.

"Do whatever, i'll stay here."

Kurogiri nodded, satisfied with the answer and the knowledge that he would stay there, and no one would make him otherwise.

Well, there is always Sensei, but Kurogiri trusts his judgement.

The dark body darted behind the crates, no sound came from their steps as the took their way around any wandering eyes, just a bit more until she reached the desk, ignoring the papers on top, the figure took to the bin next to it, swinddling four crumpled papers.

The figure rested a hand on the top of the desk, filling their quirk do it's ways and much information away, it was just two minutes they stayed station, but she didn't want to test luck, and soon made their way in the warehouse until a door to exit was meet, She would count victorious to not being caught, if the door didn't open itself to show a burly man walking inside.

He hesitated in the sight, She didn't.

Darting bellow the leg pair, she took sprint, making sure to be near any wall, they pivoted turn and turn almost to not hearing the screams of those working in that place.

It was with a welp and hearing the majorly distant shouting that the figure tripped forward, not stopping down, with hand and knees she pushed until they were safely hidden behind a dump, and so she held her breath in 5 seconds, slowly realeasing through her not visible mouth.

The was the suspense for several minutes, but the was no thumping feet or shouting anymore, so she could finally relax and close their only eye.

Northern breathed safe, and let their quirk eat away the information at the paper she held, and discard it too in the dump when standing up and slowly making her through the streets, exchanging the dark shirt for long red sleeves and downing a skirt over their pants.

Some blocks away and finally they started to look over the information gotten, and hoped it wasn't just tax balances that she was almost killed over, because that moving company was a cover for fitting ring with perhaps some mercenary deals, and they would be the first to know-.

BINGO!!

Northern exhaled relieved, it was an order for sure of elimination, there was no receipient but the pay was already given, and their targets were workers in the wrecked facility, but why-

A Fae like quirk??

Nothern fastened their step, wishing they did buy that discount retractable cane, this didn't sound good if the other leads were pointing.

Junip had been doing his own sort of investigation on the odd happenings around the game.. but not the kind others would expect.

One of the individuals trapped here, Scribbles- had caught his attention. She was rather loud and annoying.. and often bothered him with her nonsense. But.. he didn't exactly hate her company.

The thing about Scribbles though- is that something odd would happen whenever She was around. She'd tend to get quiet randomly, her face would get distorted for a moment whenever someone would get a lead on the murder, and she'd always avoid questions or give vague answers when confronted..

Something was definitely off about her. But it's impossible for her to be the killer- She just got here! Still.. it's a bit odd.. with the way she's been acting, she has to be hiding SOMETHING.

So a bit of investigation wouldn't hurt... would it?

So far nothing seemed far out of the ordinary. Her gear.. her sleeping bag nest thing she sleeps in- Even her backup scarf. All pretty harmless things. But after a bit of messing around in the mess known as her bed- Junip noticed something hidden beneath the blankets.. a Book? A sketchbook from the looks of it.

Once he had managed to sneak into Scribbles Tent, he decided to do a little snooping. She shouldn't be back for a while anyways since she had went off with Pomni & Caine to follow a lead pointing to Jax this time. Since she was smitten with him she's bound to linger.

It's not like it's her diary or anything so it wouldn't hurt to peak a little. He didn't know she liked to draw.

It all seemed harmless enough and didn't seem to be of much bother- Untill noticed something. Hold on.. half of these pages have little corners folded onto eachother.. the pages were sticking.

He flipped through the pictures, letting out a snort at the ridiculous faces she would draw and the sketches of the others.. and quite a few of Jax. Someone has a crush, obviously. But hey, that's not his business. Oh man.. there are even some sketches of him. His eyes aren't that big.

One was Scribbles Handwriting.. the other was someone elses... and what it said made Junip get VERY concerned..!

After a bit of careful separation, there was a bit of Green goo on the pages. Plus the paper inside wasn't sized correctly- like it was just stuck inside the book. There was also some writing on the pages.. two different handwritings.

'They're getting too Close to figuring things out. I thought you said you can handle it.'

'I-Im trying.. Please-! Just give me one More chance..! Please don't make me-'

'I've give you plenty of chances- and yet they still manage to get closer. I'm sorry, but I can't get caught now. it's time for you to do what I brought here you for.'

'Please don't- I..!'

' Do you understand?'

'....Yes.. as you command. I will remove them.'

' Good girl.'

"R-Remove them!?"

Junip's face grew paler- if that was even possible. Remove them!? Scribbles.. Is in cahoots with the killer!? What's going on!?

Judging by the frantic and messy Handwriting, Scribbles was clearly in distress when she was writing.. but- the fact that it suddenly changed to a more neater and proper Handwriting was unnerving.

And she's alone with Pomni & Caine RIGHT NOW.

Hold on. She said she was going to Remove them.

Oh no.

OH NO NO NONO NO-! HES GOT TO WARN THEM!!

He wasted no time. With the sketchbook underneath his arm he burst from Scribbles tent and started off running towards the last place he saw them heading.

He just prayed he wasn't too late...!

Penny for my thoughts | The Sunshine Court (Part 1 maybe)

Just finished The Sunshine Court so I need to get some of my thoughts out of my head because there’s just too many. (Spoiler warning read at your own discretion)

1. Expect the Jean and Niel parallels post ‘cause it’s COMING

2. Never in a million years would I have ever known how much I needed to see Jean getting adopted by lesbians, thank you Nora for opening my eyes.

3. Renee and Jean friendship had me MELTING INTO A PUDDLE, I need everyone to know how dear that friendship is to me and how close I hold it to my heart.

4. Jean giving up information through freudian slip every damn time had me wanting to slap him upside the head, but I knew he wouldn’t have said anything other wise. Necessary evils and whatnot (If you get it you get it).

5. I still cannot decide if Jean holding into his ruined belongings is more of a self sabotage situation to remind himself he should be submitting or a “I know we ruined each other closely beyond repair, but you are still the only familiar thing to me”. Could be a little bit of both but I’m leaning more towards the first one.

6. LOVED all the representation in the book and how fast Jean was to accept it, my boy really dgaf.

7. My prediction that TSC was going to have to be cut into two books was correct and I’m glad Nora decided to do it that way. Like I said in THIS post, Jean has to deal with his trauma on the first book to make way for Jerejean to blossom, in my opinion, it was the best course of action.

8. Cat and Laila my beloved. Cat is my favorite character and I loved her the moment she was introduced, Laila being the handler to Cat’s chaos made me super warm inside.

9. Barkbark Von Barkestein is an incredible name and when I adopt a dog I will be naming it this.

10. I KNEW Grayson was going to make an appearance the moment his name kept coming up, even though it was coming I still had to stop breathing some fresh air when he inevitably did, because the seething rage I felt can only be compared to the Drake scene (as Jean so graciously did)

11. I’m so damn curious about Jeremy’s past I feel like I’m about to implode (hehe) from curiosity. Nora had me running mental laps trying to theorize why his family hates him so much. At first I thought it could be because he’s gay but then he mentioned Exy… 👀 the plot thickens

There’s so much more I want to talk about but I don’t trust myself to write an eloquent enough paragraph right now. I’m drunk on excitement and exhaustion from reading the whole book in one sitting. Did I procrastinate on some assignments because of it? Perhaps but that’s for future Eli to figure out.

And the plot thickens! Ok, so Nant had debts, but not with Prom or anyone we already know. So it has to be a third party. I guess Prom tried to help Nant to pay off the debt and that's why he gave him so much money?

Now I wonder why Nant was so deep in debt that even several hundred thousand baht weren't enough to pay it off... Don't know if it really is that plausible that he needed the money to help his sick mother. Gambling debts maybe? Or maybe he and/or his mom were involved with the mafia somehow?

Not necessarily Could also be that Prom already knows you're Nont and not your twin...

Wait... Is Nont imagining he's talking to his twin or...

This kind of reminds me of that older Japanese BL movie Itsuka no Kimi e. It's about a boy who meets twins and falls in love with both of them. But in the end it turns out that one of the twins had actually already died and that the remaining twin developed a split personality with his alter being his dead twin brother.

Or Nont is simply possessed, might as well be a ghost story 🤷‍♀️

The humans deciding to return the favor and help Murderbot, even when it’s asking them to terminate it is very heartwarming. I was left wanting more to see how the humans helped Murderbot get repaired and get off the planet.

I LOVE THIS IDEA, and this portion of the summary really sells it in IMHO:

F. Share a snippet form one of your favourite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.

Okay, I think the first moment that comes to mind immediately to me is this dialog from the start of the series, the “What the storm brings” fic:

“That was Yiga. If you see one, have no mercy” He then turned to them in profile, eye burning with hate, and Wars would swear they actually glowed. Storm’s voice dropped down to a growl. “Cause they for sure won’t have any for you.”

I was just starting the series and the plot was just slowly thickening and the image of this scene in my head was too cool to not put it in) Also, the slight implications in this line from Link is my favourite part, especially since I still didn’t post the chapter with his past that explains such reaction)) hehe

G. Do you write your story from start to finish , or do you write the scenes out of order?

You see, if we talk about writing the chapters themselves, I’ve been always writing the scene one by one, not to confuse myself and miss some detail in the process. Only recently did I allow myself to skip some scenes to write them later if I don’t want to in the moment.

With the whole story though, it’s funny really. Mostly, it’s all written in order, right before I post them. I even have a plan for my chapters. Here, take a look(without spoilers)

BUT (and that’s the funny part) , when I started this whole thing back in august, I firstly wrote THE ANGSTIEST PART OF THE SERIES! I still don’t know why I started from it! It explained some things for my version of Wild, true, but STILL! really?! Only when I figure out that it would be wrong to start from this chapter, I wrote the “What the storm brings”, and only after it the opening part - ‘Child of lightning”. After that, I mostly stick to the plan, only from time to time adding additional parts in between)

K. What the angstiest idea you’ve ever come up with?

Oh boy…. Well, I have a chapter for the future where Wind and Wild are separated form the rest, and the kid is hurt. Badly hurt! Wild will be caught in a loop of fear of revealing his secret and wanting to protest Wind from the monster that have them surrounded)

And all this time Wind would cry from pain, and that he don’t wanna die and that he wants to go home….

That’s all I’ll say about this chapter)))
