Marinette: Stone Cold
Ok so i love this prompt but it took forever to get to. And as soon as I did its like suddenly I was swamped with everything. So frustrating. But I finally finished it. And I love it. @vixen-uchiha
Marinette was six-years-old when her parents died in a car crash. She had been at school when the vice principle, Mrs. Valmontes, stopped by and pulled her out of class. The little black haired girl had known something was wrong instantly as Valmontes had smiled just a little hard at her and much more gently than what she was known for.
Still, she had been really surprised to see Office Raincomprix, her classmate Sabrina’s dad, waiting for her in the principle. Marinette always thought he was really nice; always jolly and quick to lend a hand to the teacher at the end of the day if he got to class early to pick up Sabrina. However, he too, seemed rather despondent when Marinette entered the room. His partner, a rookie named Lorna, looked really sad too.
They took her down to the station where she was led to one of the back offices. Sabrina’s dad waited with her there. And then woman name Susanna LeFlont, who Marinette would later learn was a grief counselor. Then they told her.
Susanna held her as she cried and begged and called them liars, until she couldn’t cry anymore. And then they gave her a stuffed animal, and said they would try calling her relatives to pick her up.
They came back an hour later, saying they got ahold of her parents’ emergency contact…
Marinette’s Uncle Jareth Dupain.
She had frowned when they said his name because to her he had never been Jareth Dupain. No, he was always her cool Uncle Jagged. So it took her a second to remember that his real name was Jareth Dupain-Stone, her father’s younger half-brother. Marinette even briefly remember her dad mentioning having to change their emergency contact after his mom, Gina, passed away a few ago.
He was only 20 when Marinette born and he was always a budding Rockstar so he wasn’t around too much. And 6 years later he was the biggest rockstar in the world. Still, that didn’t stop him from rushing to the police station, Penny hot on his trail, and pulled his sweet niece into the biggest hug he could.
Jagged took his niece to the hotel room to get her settled and had Penny go back to the bakery to get some of her things. He didn’t think it was a smart idea to take her there yet; not when the wounds were still so fresh.
Still as the twenty-six year old Rockstar stared at the small form cuddled up to Fang, he realized for the first time that he was all Marinette had in the world; the only family she had left. The only family he had left.
So he knew, despite the lawyers taking days to contact him regarding who Marinette’s guardian would be, that it was him. Jagged was the person Tom had entrusted to protect and watch the most precious thing he had the entire world; his daughter. And he wouldn’t let his brother down.
Tom had always been the best big brother anyone could have. And when Jagged’s own father, Tom’s Stepfather (as tom’s own father had suffered a heartache when Tom was a teen), had walked out, Tom had stepped up. He showed Jagged, who was still called Jareth at the time, how to be a man. He believed in Jagged’s rockstar dream when Jagged didn’t even believe in them himself.
Jagged would do right Tom, by Sabine; he would do what they would do if the situation was reversed and they were given Jagged’s kid to care for.
He would raise Marinette as he own. And though he knew would never come close to being the father that Tom Dupain had been…
Jagged would damn well try to be.
…
…
Jagged Stone, Shattered Roses, Nightmare’s Hail Mary, Unmasked Dragon, True Born Rejects, and Emancipated Mirrors were some of the biggest rock band in the world. Whenever, they went on tour together, they were the epitome of what people thought Rock Stars were. They were loud. They partied all night. Groupies hung around everywhere. To them, it was paradise. When all the bands were invited to go on the Kings of Neverland tour, with Jagged Stone headlining, they expected very much the same as they were used to. Jagged always had the most Rockin tour bus. His parties were legendary. They came to expect it.
However, when Neon Savage (front man of the Shattered Roses), Austin Knight (Leader of Unmasked dragon and lead Guitarist), and Niklaus Bane (Lead vocalist of True Born Rejects) showed up with beers and all other sorts of alcohol the day before their opening concert for the tour, they came across something very unexpected.
Or rather someone.
A little Asian girl with pigtails in her Blue hair, a tiara on her head, in a rainbow tutu paired with a black too large Guns N Roses shirt, her hand on her hips, no shoes, and a rather large crocodile next to her.
“What’s with the ballerina?” Austin asked. He had dyed silver hair done in a stereotypical emo style, grey eyes, and too many piercings. He was slim and tall.
Niklaus sighed in relief, “Oh good, you see her too!” He had curly blond hair, dark brown eyes, and wore mostly black. He had ripped jeans and a red tie. The tie was as red as the whites of his looked. “Why is your hair blue?”
“Because Uncle said I could,” She answered and pointed a figure at them, “You’re not supposed to be here.”
Savage scoffed, “You got that twisted, kid.” He was a bulk guy, with long dark hair, and a severe expression on his face. His arms were covered in tattoos. He played in a metal band, and it was obvious. “Where’s your mommy?”
“Dead,” The little girl said bluntly. “I live with my Uncle Jagged now. This his tour bus, and you’re not supposed to be here.” She glared at them. “Fang, Stranger Danger!”
What happened next was a bit of a blur. One minute they were fine, the next they were being chased around Jagged’s tour bus by a rather vicious crocodile while pint-sized twerp laughed.
Lucky for them, their yells for help were overheard by Penny and Jagged who had been working in back, “What’s going on?” Penny asked as she ran in.
“Mates, what the h. e. double hockey sticks is going on?” Jagged asked right on his assistant’s tail.
Austin, who had jumped on top one of the shelves, gave Jagged a confused look, “Better question; what the hell did you just say?”
“Ooohhhh! There’s five bucks for the swear jar!” The little girl taunted.
Jagged glared at rockstar, “Watch it! A Kid’s in the room!”
Savage glared at his longtime friend, “Who the fuck do you think set Fang on us?!” He cast a dark look at the crocodile. “Stranger danger my ass! I’ve known you sent you hatched, you overgrown cheap pair of boots.”
“That’s ten buck for the swear jar!” The girl said.
“Ten bucks?” Austin frowned. “Kinda of steep for just two swear words.”
“I swear to God-” Savage growled but was cut off.
“Chill, mate,” Jagged said. “This is my niece Marinette.” He gave her a loving smile. She beamed up at him brightly. He had been taking care of her for a year now. “I told ya about her.”
“You didn’t say she was Satan!” Austin whined. Fang had bitten him, the slowest of the three, quite a lot, and he had a giant hole in his jacket.
“I’m not Satan,” Marinette huffed. “I’m a ballerina, princess, Rockstar on my way to a tea party with Duchess Rosy Sparkles, of the Unicorn Fairies. And guess what, you’re not invited!”
“Oh that’s just mean,” Niklaus complained.
“She sicked a mini dinosaur on us,” Savaged hissed.
“Yeah, well, now she hurt my feelings.”
Jagged sighed. The guys were some of his closest friends, and by the look up the “entertainment” they brought, they were ready to raze it up like always. But things had changed. Jagged couldn’t be that guy anymore. “Marinette’s staying with me from now on,” He reminded them. “No parties on the tour. She has a bedtime. And doesn’t need to see “us” at our finest, no matter how Rockin we are.” Jagged shrugged. “Spread the world, my bus is off limits.”
The rock stars grumbled a bit but didn’t leave. They could hang with Jagged without presence of booze, weed, loud music, and groupies. It would be a little weird but they’d managed. Jagged was their friend; they’d known him before any of them became famous and stayed close well after. They hadn’t been there for him as much as they wanted to after Tom died; too many commitments, too many required appearances in different countries that had taken them away. But they were there now. And if being there for one of their best friends meant regularly chilling with a six-year-old, then they’d deal.
Savage grunted, “Austin, get rid of the booze.”
“By ‘get rid of’, I assume you meant put back in my tour bus,” The silver haired guitarist corrected.
Niklaus raised his hand like he was a student in class, “I get the whole no alcohol thing; that stuff will kill ya. But what your feelings on pot?”
Jagged just sighed. It was going to be a long summer.
The three musician, and even the other Rockers on tour, slowly but surely got used to the seemingly near constant presence of a six-year-old around Jagged or running around backstage. And the swear jar was a serious thing. It didn’t count when they were singing on stage but off it and anywhere near Marinette and they found themselves forking over five dollars for ever swear word. It added up a lot. And quickly.
Jagged’s tour bus, instead of being the Party palace it used to be, now was the chill zone. It was also the cleanest of all the tour buses. No empty beer bottles everywhere. No one random passed out anywhere. No having to watch out for throw up. No rabid fans, as Jagged had increased his security to Tony Stark worthy levels.
All they had to do was mind their manners and remember that Marinette was very impressionable at her age.
“OH screw you!!!!!!” Savage roared as he jumped up and frantically mashed buttons on his controller. “I’m not losing!”
They had been babysitting Marinette all day while Jagged did an interview Buzzfeed.
Austin snickered, “Says you.” His character raced past Savage’s. Only for something to hit him and send poor little Yoshi spinning out of control. “Did you- did you just blue shell me, bitch?” He hissed at Niklaus.
“Nooo!” Niklaus said sarcastically. “Hey!!! Not nice, brat!” He told Marinette after a banana caused him to slip off the ice.
Marinette smiled easily, but there was a determined look in her eyes. Her hair was jelled into a faux-hawk courtesy of Ashley Crimson, from lead singer for Emancipated Mirrors, an all-girl punk rock band.
“Die, scumbag!” Ashley roared as her racer zoomed by. She was a vivacious redhead. Her and her bandmates got used to being some of the only girls around that weren’t either working for one of the rock stars or were scantily clad fangirls who do “anything” to get backstage.
“You’re going down, twerp!” Savage told Marinette.
“Bite me!” She snapped back just as Jagged and Penny walked into the tour bus.
Jagged crossed his arms, “What did you morons do to my sweet little niece?”
“Nothing!” Niklaus, Ashley, Savage, and Austin chimed together.
“Savage taught me to throw a punch, and or kill a man.” Marinette smiled happily. “I helped Austin set up a glitter bomb in Nightmare’s Hail Mary tour bus. Niklaus and I are banned from Chuckie Cheese. Ashley and I spray painted her ex boyfriend’s car. Cleo and I got arrested. We disturbed the peace!!” Cleo was a pink haired girl who played drummer from Nightmare’s Hail Mary. She had to rush off for her own interview. “Oh and we’ve only been Playing Mario kart for an hour but they each owe like a hundred bucks to the swear jar.”
There was silence as the words were processed.
“And not one of us taught her how to keep a freaking secret?” Ashley face palmed.
Jagged just sighed.
…
…
For the next few years that was Marinette’s life. Austin, Niklaus, Savage and Ashley became pseudo Uncles and Aunt to Marinette.
She spent most of her childhood on tour with her Uncle; going from to place, concert after concert. Marinette was homeschooled and didn’t mind it. Jagged went on tour with a bunch of different people over the years and she got to meet all sorts musicians; Clara Nightingale, Ed Sheeran, Adam Levine, Brendon Urie from Panic! At the Disco, Taylor Swift. Her favorite were the award shows though. Through them, she got to meet all her favorite actors. And was inspired to start designing on her own clothes after seeing so many fabulous looks. She got to model and do some acting. In her free time, she ran a very popular fashion blog/youtube channel.
The press had always loved her. To them, she was Marinette Stone (Jagged didn’t want her real name released to the media). She was always on the best dressed list, frequently seen with various celebrities, and could be found on the cover of various magazine.
However, when Marinette was eleven, she begged her Uncle to let her go to school with other kids. She was getting older and she wanted to have some type of normal childhood. It took him a year to agree. Her uncle Jagged had become quite protective over the years.
So Marinette went back to Paris. She cut her hair, used her given name of Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Her Uncle bought a grand penthouse not too far away from her new school, and whenever he was gone her bodyguard, a sweet woman named Harlow who was former CIA, was in charge of her. She started at her new school with a smile on her face.
Not long after, she became the hero Ladybug.
Everything was great. She had friends, a normal social life, went to school with other kids her age. She wasn’t constantly being followed around by paparazzi. She still ran her fashion blog and had frequently updates. It was perfect.
It took two years for it to go bust.
The reason’s name was Lila Rossi.
And she was the biggest liar Marinette had ever met. And Marinette had grown up in the entertainment industry.
Lila made wild claims that the other kids just ate up. A simple google search could refute all of them. The ones Marinette could stand was always about Jagged. Like her Uncle, or an airline, would be reckless enough to let a kid race on to an airport to save a cat; not that Jagged had ever own one. Fang was territorial.
Lila made her out to be a bully, and slowly Marinette lost all her friends. Her only one left was Adrien, her partner Chat Noir. The blond and Marinette had modeled together a few times and he had recognized Marinette despite her new looked but he kept it a secret. Because of their history, Marinette developed a crush on the other and Adrien was quick to lose his crush on Ladybug once he found out it was his dear friend behind the mask.
When Marinette was exiled to the back, Adrien was quick to join her (much to Lila’s fury) and nothing could change his mind. Mostly because he was sick of Lila always touching him despite his vocal protests, and Bustier not doing anything about it.
Soon Marinette things started being messed up or destroyed; her homework, her sketchbooks and pencils, her jacket. She was tripped and called rude names. Her cellphone, (Well one of her phones. She had two; one she used as Marinette Stone. One for Marinette Dupain-Cheng; a number only her classmates had.) was filled with mean texts.
Bustier caved to demands and had her excluded from class trips and events due to being a negative influence; again Adrien decided not to go either, and Lila was Akumatized once he said this. Marinette hadn’t been surprised. Bustier always ignored the bullying and harassment clearly happening in front of her. Still, Marinette decided to start recording her classes a hidden camera on her desk, on the corner of the celling and even on top of the whiteboard behind Bustier. It was just in case anything took a serious turn.
Still losing all her friends because of a few promises and dreams of glitz and glamour had been a wakeup call. Her Uncle had warned her. Her Aunt Penny, who Jagged had married with Marinette was ten, had warned her. So did Savage, Ashley, Cleo, Austin, Clara, and Niklaus. They told Marinette to watch out for fake friends and gold diggers, coattail clingers and desperate wannabes; people who would sell out every secret she had to the paparazzi behind her back just for five minutes in the spot light. So called friends who would do anything to get ahead, to get famous.
And it was clear that’s who most of her ex-friends were. Even Lila learned the hard way. When she told Alya about her mom meeting with some important celebrity about their Go Green initiative, this wasn’t a lie as it would turn out. However, the glasses-wearing girl posted it online, despite Lila legitimately asking her to keep it a secret. Lila got in big trouble with her mom apparently.
The teacher, Bustier, was awful but she always had been. Marinette ignored it in the past because at least she had her friends. But if that witch told Marinette to be a better example one more time, it was over.
Everything came to a head after Marinette got expelled, granted she was brought back after evidence that it was impossible for her to have cheated surfaced, and the bluenette decided enough was enough. She finally gave in and told her Uncle everything.
Jagged was pissed. He cursed up a storm; enough to fill the swear jar ten times over and buy Marinette a car.
It took a while to get him to calm down. And to convince him that Marinette could handle it. She had a plan.
Still, she remembered that Uncle was a wild card.
Friday, during lunch, Marinette was eating in the cafeteria, when suddenly the lunchroom doors burst open, “Marinette,” Jagged called as he entered, trailed by a happy Penny and bodyguards “Where’s my favorite little fashion designer?”
Marinette just sighed.
Adrien smirked at her; looking way too amused. The jerk must’ve known. She had thought it was strange that he wanted to eat in the cafeteria. The two rarely ate on the school grounds, opting and preferring to go to local restaurants rather than deal with terrible food and pesky classmates. Still Marinette didn’t mind as long as they away from her classmates. And they did.
Kagami, Aurore, and Claude gave her perplexed looks.
The students in the cafeteria went wild. Girls and guys screamed, and tried to get pictures. Jagged ignored them and went straight to Marinette’s table, walking passed where Bustier’s student at lunch. Alya shook Lila’s shoulder and pointed at Jagged, and loudly asked if Lila could get her an interview. Lila looked horrified.
Jagged beamed when he reached Marinette, “There you are, you’ve been ignoring my texts,” He accused. Which to be fair, Marinette had been. Her Uncle had been coming up with way too many revenge plots to be healthy. “I decided I need a new look for the VMAs; something rockin, something tasteful, something to show remind the world the amazingness that the Rock Gods have blessed them with.”
“I’m at school,” Marinette told him.
He smirked, “Then Learn to answer a text,” The Rock star shrugged. “But fine; we can talk later. How about at my concert, yeah. You and your friends” he motioned to the kids at Marinette’s table, “Can have backstage passes. We’ll talk then. But I really want you to wow me. Maybe get a matching hat for Fang too.”
“Fang?” Adrien asked innocently. Still Marinette could practically hear see the script he was reading off of. “Is that your cat?”
Jagged gasped as if insulted, “Cat? Do you think I’d ever own anything as ordinary as a cat? Me? Jagged Stone?! I should be insulted, mate. I hate cats, always have. Never owned one, never will. Fang’s a crocodile. Marinette’s knows. Fang loves her.”
“That is strange,” Kagami shot Marinette a smirk which caused Marinette to nearly hiss at the betrayal. Kagami knew too?! “Lila said you did.”
“Lila?” Jagged asked. “Who’s Lila? I don’t know a Lila.”
“Lila Rossi?” Aurore offered. “The Ladyblog practically swears in an interview that Lila Rossi saved your cat from being hit by a plane or something.”
Jagged scoffed, “What a loud of bull! Any journalist that believes that is not worth the pen they write with.” Gasps were heard. “But I heard that rumor. Didn’t know where it was from. Thanks for letting me know who I should sue. This Ladyblog and Lila Rossi will be hearing from my lawyers.”
It was a photo finish as to who fainted first; Alya or Lila.
Lila went home right after that. This caused the reactions of the class to be split. Half the class still defended Lila; refusing to believe their golden ticket was lying. The other half was ready to burn her at the stake; they had carried her books, done her homework, wrote her notes, nearly everything for her.
Marinette just sat back and watched with amused eyes. If they thought this was bad, they hadn’t seen anything yet.
That weekend Marinette Stone released a video on her blog about bullying. She had been mentioning her own trouble with bullying for months and people had asked her for more information.
The title of the video was:
Bullying Stone: The Expose
In it Marinette revealed that at her school she went by Marinette Dupain-Cheng, her real name, and had a new look. She told about how much she liked school at first. And they what changed; that it all started when a new girl arrived and started telling lies about celebrities about Marinette. She told the story of how she was expelled; and just how many procedures were broken when it happened.
Marinette used the recordings she had of class, and even showed up the horrible texts she got.
“As you can see the teacher does nothing,” Marinette frowned. “It’s all happening right in front of her and she does nothing. In the next video, you’ll see someone being sexually harassed, in front of the teacher and she doing nothing about it. And then what victim blaming looks like. Again, as a reminder, all these videos and pictures are unedited.” She had offered to blur Adrien’s face but he declined, and even appeared in the video too and talked about his own experience.
At the end of the video, Marinette looked straight at the camera, “Anyone can be bullied; famous or otherwise. If you’re being bullied; speak up. Tell your parents, your Aunts, your Uncles, your siblings, your cousins, teachers who you know will actually do something about it. I waited too long to tell someone. I regret that. They thought what they were doing was hurting me. They thought I’d be miserable without them. They thought I’d cry and break and come crawling back to them. They thought wrong. You can bully Stone but it takes a hell of a lot more than that to break it.”
The video went viral in an hour. And people were angry. The people who knew Marinette and loved her were beyond furious. Jagged, even more so, as he hadn’t seen the videos before, read the texts.
Marinette Stone’s phone blew up with texts and calls. She was tweeted and retweeted thousands of times. And she got far too many, ‘You want me to kick their asses for you. I can kick their asses for you,” texts. But she had known she’d get them.
The Ladyblog was ripped for lies by celebrities who been lied about on site and fans.
Gabriel Agreste, Adrien told her, was pissed about what had been happening to Adrien, in front of a teacher no less. Lila Rossi fired. And if Lila ever had dreams about working in the fashion industry, they were over.
Savage, after berating her for not kicking Lila’s ass, told her he and the gang (Austin, Cleo, Ashley, and And Niklaus) was coming over for some Mario Kart and artery clogging fast food.
When the call disconnect, Marinette got a text from him.
Why did you sic Fang on them?
And that’s a five for the swear jar!
Marinette couldn’t stop laughing.

"Y/n!" Fine we were untill you came in with damon. "How long have you been dating peter "he asked me about 6-7 months "oh ok listen the real reason I said yes about coming to new York is to get you back to mystic falls before you say no or anything else elena and damon and Bonnie and caroline are in danger from the original family " wow um sure I went downstairs and I saw Peter and damon and tony and Steve and bucky
."don't worry I didn't tell anyone except for Steve and tony."
Peter you did not tell them please tell me you did not.
."so is this supposed to be like a twilight movie."buck said
I used my vamp speed to pin him against the wall and let him go
."so vampires do exist?,"
Yes,I smiled peter didn't seem to happy about me and stefan was he jealous? I asked myself me and stefan are just friends I was going to confess that I had feelings for him but than I moved and I met Peter I cleared my throat guy's this is stefan salvatore he is a very close friend of mine
".what's he doing here?."
Tony he is just visiting right stefan ?I asked him
."yes and no you need to kinda need to come back to mystic falls." He said
Wait why please tell me damon didn't do anything stupid again I smiled at him
."this is serious y/n remember I told you about the original family ?and the cure well we finally found it 3 bottles of it and I know that you don't really like being a vampire so I saved it for you ."

."can I um come with you y/n". Peter said
Peter that's very sweet of you but um mystic falls isn't the safest place in the world I'm sorry I don't want to put you in danger I put my hand on his cheek I promise I will be back soon I went upstairs found the dress that I was going to wear to the ball and pack some extra clothes and makeup stuff like that I will be back as soon as I can sorry I grabbed my bag and headed out of the building driving to mystic falls with stefan salvatore do you think he will actually forgive me? He called me a monster and a killer and he apologized and now he understands it I'm so confused ugh how I can I be this stupid
."hey stop don't beat yourself up about it just focus on taking the cure so you can have a healthy normal relationship with him."
Thanks I smiled you know what to say I don't know if I would survive without you stefan really I held his hand
."thanks have you met the mikkelson? I don't remember."

"It's nothing don't worry about it "
Oh ok before I could go back upstairs and corned me to the kitchen wall we were starting at each other for a while his big brown eyes were stunning he kissed me and my heart was beating so fast he turned away.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that it was really stu-"

"We could do it"

"Yes I'm sure but may I try something if you don't mind me"
No go ahead I trust you I know that I met you today but it feels strange you just caught my eye and heart he laughed
"Your so cute and beautiful "
Thanks your handsome man yourself
"Can I try it now?"
Sure I trust you kol before i could say anything else he started to kiss my neck and i heard a ripping sound my pajamas i covered my chest
"Don't worry darling is there something wrong? "
No ,I laugh I got to tell you something but don't-he cut me off
"What?"
Don't judge me but I- I am a virgin ok let's face it I never got all the way was saving myself for someone special and I think that special someone is you -i know it's crazy but fuck ! I started to kiss his abs and I let go of my hands from my breasts-he looked at me and smile at me what do look funny?
"No they are amazing"
He started to kiss the top of my breasts I moaned than He was kissing down your tummy, smiling up at you as he starts fumbling with the button of your shorts
“May I?” He asked. I smiled and nodded.
“Hm, I can smell you. So wet and needy for me, huh?” He mumbled. I nodded as his lips got closer to my pussy He ripped off my panties, the cold air hitting my skin in an instant. I heard kol groan as he looked over my naked body. He looked back into my eyes, reaching up to kiss my lips.
Kol then stood up and began to unbuckle his belt and my eyes widened. I sat up immediately.

Butterfly wings
Request
summary: Taking requests? Can I get one in where the team raids a hydra base and find their latest victim...a young girl with fairy wings? They do some research and find she’s not an experiment but a real fairy that hydra found a way to kidnap. She clings to Tony cause he’s the one that takes her from the base and protects her. He adores her cause she’s so childlike and curious and decides since they can’t return her home, he keeps her and calls her his daughter
warning: absolute fluff, bit angst, all good
Tony leaned on the window as he watched the younger girl sleep her chest falling uneven as she breathed. Her skin covered in bruises, bones broken or fractured. This child had been through hell and back and she looked to be no older than five. Who could do such a thing? Hydra.
“Tony!”
“Yeah” He turned around to find everyone watching her he stood up straight.
“we were talking about the girl. We went through all the information containing her in that faculty” Sam said
“we have no clue where she comes from. She has no trace outside of Hydra either” Natasha says.
“That might actually make sense. She’s a mutant her family must have tried to hide her. I mean with a set of wings like that can’t just walk around” Bruce said
The young girl had two beautiful wings sprouting from her back. They were pale and grey and resembled that of butterfly wings. From what Hydra’s documents said she had arrived with her wings apparently born with them. This lead the avengers to believe she was a mutant.
“I say we wait until she wakes up we can learn more from her about her than her kidnappers and her notes.” Tony said as he walked away from them. He didn’t want to have this conversation honestly looking at that young girl gave him anxiety he had to get away for a moment. He needed a distraction for the moment so he mad his way to the lab.
Bruce leaned against the door frame watching as Tony typed away on his screen probably doing the math for some new project he just thought of. He seemed really focused which was really weird because Tony was never focused on one thing. He usually had music playing in the background, the tv on, another project on the side, and someone on the phone. Tony being focused on one singular thing was a red flag, a problem.
“You’re worried about the girl aren’t you.” Bruce said as he stepped into the lab “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you worried about anyone besides Peter. Are you going to make her an ‘intern’ as well.” he teased Tony looked at him unamused.
“Want to talk about it?”
“no. I want her to wake up.”
“She will.” Bruce said patting him on the back “She just needs rest she’s been through a lot. I bet this is the first time in a long time that she had got true rest. We just need to wait. Don’t worry so much she’ll wake up.”
-
It was a sudden familiar pain washed over her body she groaned and rolled over trying to find that cold corner out of habit. When she instead found herself falling off the edge of something she woke up and jumped back startled.
“Hey, Hey” someone said as they place a hand on her shoulder pushing her back she looked up to see a man with a goatee. She shrunk back from his hand. This was a very unfamiliar place and this was an unfamiliar man.
“It’s okay, it’s okay. Don’t want you falling kind.” he said as he took a step back giving her the space. “ Alright I’m going to cut to the chase before the soft some ones get here. I’ve got a few questions for you. You okay with that?”
She doesn’t response just stares at him. A quick glance at her hands and he sees her fisting the sheets. She’s afraid, nervous.
“Do you know where you are?” he asks
she doesn’t response “you’re there anymore, you’re safe. Do you understand?” no response.
“Do you have a name?” no answer “ here I’ll go first. Hi, I’m Tony”
“....(Y/n)... I’m (y/n)”
“Alright we’re getting somewhere. (Y/n), nice to meet you. Do you know where your parents are or what happened to them?” she looked young enough to have parents. About 4 or 5 but then again looking were not what they seem when dealing with Hydra. The hundred year old soldiers in the living room was prove of that.
“ Dad?” she shrugs. Tony took that as him skipping town or dying before she was born.
“Mom?”
“dead. Killed” she said he watched as her eyes watered over but tears did not fall.
“sorry kid... how old are you?”
“five”
Tony didn’t really know what to say after that. He was 17 when he lost his parents he was shit for years afterwards his only enemy at that time was himself. Here this kid was mom gone and then left with a horrible organization that poked and prod at her. This kid has been through a lot and her life has barely began.
“what are those?” he motioned behind her back.
“wings”
“Wings.”
“I’m a fairy”
“...cool”.
Suddenly the door busted open revealing the rest of the Avenger. Tony hoped to have a few moments to alone with her to figure her out but it seems that his time is up. Bruce took over on healing here with a few nurses as the other Avengers pulled Tony way scolding him and asking him to what she told him which he shared.
-
“Hey, butterfly” Tony said as he saw (Y/n) slip in the kitchen behind him. She was still cautious of everyone else and always found somewhere near or around Tony. He didn’t mind she was quiet and curious and always listened. He now often found himself in his lap explaining and teaching her things, as well as Peter when ever he was around.
Another interesting thing was her wings were slowly gaining color. A faint rainbow style could be seen in her wings but she could still not use them. They still laid limp on her back.
“Alright, I’ve got a peanut butter jelly and ham & cheese. which one do you want?”
“Jelly” she whisper. With a satisficed nod he hands her a napkin he was about to hand her the sandwich when their was a loud bang.
“My lawn” Tony groans throwing his head back. He looks down to see (Y/n) on the floor with her hands over her head as shielding herself from possible doom.
“Oh no, you’re okay we’re okay. That’s just Thor. He’s a friend.” Tony assured her as he cooed her into standing up again he handed her, her sandwich.
“Come on, how about we go see him at the door” Tony placed a hand on her back leading her to the front door.
“Thor?” (Y/n) questioned as she held her sandwich with two hands and let him lead her.
“Yeah, God of thunder.”
The two joined the other Avengers on the front lawn. Thor was all dolled up in his Asgardian robes and armory.
(Y/n) gasped and whispered“ It’s the prince” Tony looked down at her surprised but brushed it off as she knew some what about the Avengers. So of course she knew Thor.
“Hello...friends?” Thor question as he came up to them the first thing he noticed was (y/n) and her wings.
“I see you’ve took noticed of our new friends. This is (Y/n). We found her in a raid of another Hydra base.” Steve said as he motioned (Y/n) forward but she didn’t move. “ She still shy. We’re pretty sure she’s a mutant”
“Your highness” (Y/n) said softly as she gave a small bow.
“She’s not a mutant, she’s a fairy” Thor said as he approach her coming to kneel in front of her “ Hello little one, what is your name?”
“(Y/n), your highness” she gave him her hand.
“no need for formalities, little one, Thor is fine.” he smiled kissing her little hand.
“Thor”
“How did you get here little one?”
“I...don’t know”
“Thor, do you know her?” Natasha asked
“not her specifically but I think I know where she comes from and what she is. Let’s go inside to talk”
In the living room everyone gathered around to hear (Y/n) origin story. (Y/n) herself sat in between Thor and Tony, finally eating her sandwich.
“Oh my” Thor said as he caught a glimpse of (y/n) wings. “ What happened here?”
“I don’t know. The color went away now I can’t fly” (Y/n) said
“we believe it has something to do with what Hydra was injecting into her” Bruce spoke up.
“Tragic really … (Y/n) here is a fairy her kind live on Faerie. From what I know there use to be a civil war and a lot of people fled the planet for other realms that’s probably how little miss (Y/n) ended up here. The civil war is over now and the planet is slowly putting itself back together with the help of Asgard last i checked.” Thor said.
“So she really is a fairy”
“ I told you” (Y/n) whispered to Tony. He just smiled and ruffled her hair.
After Thor explained everything Steve and Natasha pulled him to the side and explain what they knew about (Y/n). Tony was a bit nervous now (Y/n) had a home, possible family, or friends. Tony didn’t want to admit it but he had grown close to (Y/n) he liked her and he cared about her and now there was a chance she would be leaving him. And he didn’t like that.
“what’s wrong?” (Y/n) asked as she watched Tony slump over his desk.
“Nothing”
“ Are you sure Mr. Stark?” Peter asked joining in (y/n) consider for him.
“yeah, I’m okay kiddos. Lets get back to work”. The children pushed their considers aside to work with Tony.
-
“This truly is tragic” Thor said as he went over the information the team had gathered from Hydra. “ Her mother came here to be free and ended up on death’s door. (Y/n)’s weeks should be large and colorful yet they are dull and gray there is something very wrong with her. I’m going to Faerie I’ll get her some medicine as well as see if she has anymore family that survived.”
“Leaving so soon” Sam said
“Work needs to be done. This girl needs help and to be reunited with her family if possible. Don’t worry I won’t be long.”
“You said that last time and you were gone for a month” Clint pointed out
“Time works different of Asgard” was all Thor said as he left them again.
-
“Another” (Y/n) said as Tony finished reading her a bed time story.
“no ma’am. I don’t negotiate with terrorist. Go to bed.”
“I’m not a terrorist” (Y/n) mumbled as Tony tucked her in and turned on her nightlight and off her light.
“I don’t know. Trying to Negotiate dirty trades with me sounds like a terrorist to me. Go to bed or no more toys... or lab.” he heard a light gasp as he finally closed the door. He chuckled.
“someone likes playing Daddy” Clint said as he leaned against the wall “ You know Thor is going to come back and she’s going to have to go home eventually.”
“ I know...” Tony said trying to walk away from him but he followed
“And now you’re sad. Didn’t take you for the parenting type. Well... that’s a lie I’ve seen you with Peter. I didn’t take you for the baby or a little girl type.”
“Clint”
“Honestly, I’m shocked really-”
“What the hell do you want?” Tony stopped and turned to glare at the archer.
“You’ve gotten attached and you’ve started treating everyone around you like ass because you’re scared she’s leaving soon.” It was true Thor was due to return Tomorrow and Tony had been spending all his time with (Y/n) and telling anyone else who tried to get in the way to fuck off, expect Peter of course.
“One Admit that, and two talk to someone. Because if she really does leave this is going to hurt ten times worse. I’m just saying sort your shit out” Clint waved him off and walked away.
“Who knew and idiot could be so smart” Natasha said as Clint rounded the corner and she joined him.
“Someone needed to talk to him. The inevitable is going to happen.”
“God, I don’t really want to deal with super angry sassy Tony. I’m going on a two month vacation after this.” Natasha said already dreading his reaction.
“Make it three. He can hold a grudge. I hope this works out. I really do” .
-
“Stunning as always” Bruce said as he exam (Y/n)’s wings they had faint color now but they still laid limp on her back with no use.
“I want to fly” (y/n) said as Tony gave her hand a gentle squeeze supporting her through her check up.
“Thor will be back with your medicine soon. Don’t worry too much your wings will be flapping in no time.” Bruce reassured her as he took notes. There was a loud Bang. “ Speaking of Thor he shall appear”.
Tony didn’t waste anytime picking up (y/n) on his hip and making his way for the door.
“hi your highness”
“Little one, did I not tell you to call me by my name?”
“Sorry” she giggled.
“I have a present for you” Thor said as he pulled a small bottle out of his pocket “ one sip of this and-Oh... oh okay?” (Y/n) didn’t even wait for him to finish just taking the bottle and chugging in the whole thing.
“That works too”
“...ew” (Y/n) whispered shaking her head the others laughed at her “Nasty but ...it feels warm.”
“That’s means it’s working little fairy. Ah and we’re already seeing the affects.”
Her wings seemed to begin to stand up straight and gain color all at once. (Y/n) gasped and her eyes sparkled it was like life was breath back into her. She squealed as she began to flap her wings lightly sending a breeze around the room.
“Wings” she said and everyone chuckled.
“want to go for a flight?” Tony asked.
Everyone else followed them outside to see. At first she tested it out flapping her wings and getting a few feet off the ground before she took off into the sky, nearly giving Tony a heart attack. Sam put on his wings and joined her in the sky putting him more at ease but he was still on his toes. She looked beautiful flying in the sky. She looked happy.
“No family”
“huh?”
“she has no family” Thor says “ I checked. Her father abandoned the family then died in the war. Her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. All gone.... I found an Orphanage that would be willing to-”
“DADDY LOOK AT ME” (Y/n) screamed as she twirled in the sky the sun shining on her wings a beautiful smile to compare. Pure joy on her face.
“Never mind” Thor said as he looked at Tony who had a matching smile. He wasn’t even listening anymore. He watched as Tony walked over catching (Y/n) as she fell out of the air into his arms. Smiling and laughing. (Y/n) did not need to return to Faerie she had already found her new home.

The Troubles Are Lurking in Queens - Pt.1
Of Arrogant Lawyers and Cheerful… Spider Vigilantes?
Pairing: Matt Murdock x reader Word count: 1860
Type: Two-shot, reader insert
Warnings: swearing, mention of attempted assault and a gun and a knife, pregnancy, adorable Peter Parker aka your friendly neighbour Spiderman
Summary: When an arrogant lawyer demands his paperwork right now or better yet this very moment, you’re a good wife to Matt and decide to deliver the documents yourself – for your husband’s mental health sake (and for the sake of the meeting he’s running to).
The catch is the said lawyer has his office in Queens – and whoever said Hell’s Kitchen was the least safe place in NYC was clearly lying.
You were staring at barrel of a gun. And your first thought was: the universe is punishing me for falsifying legal documents.
It happened approximately like this:
“Mr. Davidson-” Matt murmured, massaging the bridge of his nose, giving up the struggle of tying up his tie with one hand. Though that might have had something to do with the fact you snatched the said hand away to do it for him.
“I understand you would like to have the-"
You couldn’t make out a word, but the male voice on the other end sounded downright outraged. This Mr. Davidson had been pissing you off for quite a while; he was the opposite counsel on one of Matt’s cases and he was making everything difficult in the line of paperwork, well-aware Matt was going to dismantle him.
He. Was. Indescribably. Arrogant. Which was something you just couldn’t stand and it drove you up the wall.
“I just don’t have time right— no, I do not have a messenger boy on my disposal just to deliver the documents to you, you can be sure as-" You covered Matt’s mouth before he could swear, gaining a look as grateful as frustrated and wounded.
Oh yeah, you would love to even send this guy to hell and back just to kick him back down there, but Matt had a professional image to maintain. He inhaled deeply.
“Mr. Davidson, I’ll even deliver you the document myself-"
“With coffee and ‘go fuck yourself’…” you hummed as you finished the tie, causing the corners of Matt’s lips twitch.
“-but I just can’t do it before noon.”
Matt listened to the man’s raised voice for a while, grinding his teeth.
You felt really sorry for Matt. And what did a good wife do when feeling sorry for her husband? Helped him.
“I can deliver it.”
Matt shook his head, covering the phone. “I need to print it in non-braille version somewhere and sign it. I don’t have time for that-"
“I can sign it,” you shrugged. Matt’s eyebrow shot up. “What? I saw you sign stuff more times than I can count. It will be fine.”
“That’s a fraud.”
“It stays in a family. I’ll be signing by my own last name.”
Matt’s features softened at the note, but he didn’t change his mind. “That’s still a fraud, sweetheart.”
You pointed at the phone wordlessly; the man on the other end of the was so caught up in his monologue, enchanted by listening to the sound of his own voice, that he didn’t even notice no one was responding.
Matt pouted in an ‘okay, you have a point’ way. His eyebrow furrowed with concern – of course it did. He always worried about you, sometimes for a good reason, however, lately… ever since you two had found out you were going to be parents, a new life growing in your belly… well. Matt was anxious and downright paranoid.
“You would do it?”
“Sure. I could use a walk.” Oh, you could. You might be having a day off, but sitting on a couch all day might actually kill you.
“It’s in Queens.”
“...and a subway ride.”
He still seemed to struggle.
“-are you even listening to me?!”
And that did it. Matt cracked. “Of course, Mr. Davidson. You’ll have the documents before noon.”
“Now was that so hard?”
Matt inhaled sharply and you quickly took the phone from his hand.
“Mr. Murdock put you through to me. I’ll deliver you the documents. It was a pleasure to deal with you, Mr. Davidson,” you chatted sweetly and ended the call. Matt was watching you, pressing his lips together, clearly holding back a smile.
“You’re a mischief.”
He kissed you forehead lovingly.
“Me?” you asked innocently. “I was perfectly polite. He was being a dick. Now, you mean the papers for the Howard’s case, right? Speak fast or you really will be late for your meeting…”
That was how you found yourself on your way to Mr. Davidson’s office in Queens, two copies of whatever paperwork with yours/Matt’s signature and the bloody Google maps app that wasn’t counting on alleyways. And you had about four extra pounds just in your belly, so you really wanted to count any shortcut in.
On a second thought, maybe God was not punishing you for the little fraud with the signatures but for your laziness.
Now you were staring at a barrel of a gun, four pounds of living growing mass of your baby in your belly and you really didn’t know how to fight the mugger off. The memory of Matt’s voice reminding you the first rule – run from the danger – was shushed by a dreamed voice of his that was telling you to just give the thug your fucking purse, because running was not an option in your state and situation; on top of everything, Mr. Davidson’s ‘now was that so hard?’ mocked you and you mentally yelled YES.
“Are you deaf too? Give me your fucking bag!”
“Okay, okay— just… just don’t shoot! I’ll give you my phone and wallet, but I have some legal papers I can’t-”
He shot into air and you jumped, your instinct screaming at you how to disarm him – Matt had taught you how, you had actually done it before, because you fucking lived in Hell’s Kitchen, the most dangerous area in NYC, Matt had taught you for a reason. But another instinct – not to take any risks and protect your baby – was much stronger. You gulped, feeling tears gathering in your eyes.
“Please, just— just don’t hurt me.” Don’t hurt the baby. “Here-"
You barely managed to extend your hand with the handbag when something white curled around the gun – more like cocooned it – and pulled the weapon away.
Both you and your assailant gasped.
“Fuck.”
“Up here, bad guy!” a cheerful male voice called out and you fought the urge to look up, not wanting to leave the still dangerous man out of your sight.
Good thing you didn’t; he pulled out a knife and lunged after you.
You barely dodged the knife and caught his forearm. He seemed surprised at your defence, but let the knife fall, trying to catch it with his free hand. You listened to your first instinct – you deflected the knife before he caught it.
You managed to kick his knee and then his both legs were suddenly tied together with the strange white-- thingie and the thug was pulled away, cursing.
You blinked in shock, looking in the direction he was being dragged. A strange man of not so strong built, dressed in blue and red costu— armour, it must have been an armour, because he was obviously stopping a crime in a dress-up, which made him a vigilante. And as a vigilante wife, you knew vigilantes were in fact not wearing costumes, but armours.
“What kind of a douche attacks a pregnant woman?!” he demanded exasperatedly and with one motion of his wrist, the mugger’s hands were tied too. “Coward!”
And he knocked him out, tossing him aside, looking up at you. What kind of a mask was that? The strange eye area-- and was that a spider emblem on his chest?
He took several steps towards you and you instinctively stumbled back.
This guy might have saved your ass, but he was still a stranger, shooting some white sticky substance from his wrist and he was wearing a spider themed cos- armour and it was really creepy. Which said something considering your own husband was lurking at night dressed like the Devil himself.
“Hey, it’s okay! I’m not gonna hurt you! I promise!”
He held out his hands, showing you they were empty and that he meant no harm. Jesus, he was so thin. Was he even a man? Was he a kid? Like, a teenager? His voice sounded like it still some masculine changes to go through.
“Who are you?” you asked cautiously. ‘How old are you?’
“I came to help! I’m just your friendly neighbour Spiderman!”
The who now? “I’m not... from the neighbourhood. I’m-"
“-BLEEDING! Oh god, oh god. You really showed the guy, but you’re bleeding. Oh god, oh shit— now that’s more money to the swear jar-" the kid, and you were now sure he was a kid, started panicking and you had no idea why, because-- oh.
Your hand was bleeding.
“Oh.”
“Oh god, I have to get you to a hospital-"
You froze. “That’s not necessary-” You didn’t have time for a hospital now. You needed to deliver the stupid papers; your hand had to wait, it didn’t look too deep, you’d be fine. Though it did kinda hurt, how had you missed that?
“What?!” the kid squeaked. “You’re bleeding! I should have done better, oh no-"
You felt a ridiculous urge to comfort him all of sudden, so you crossed the distance, boldly caressing his arm.
“Hey, no, you did great-"
“But you’re bleeding, miss— madam? I should probably go with madam-"
You pressed her lips together so you wouldn’t laugh at his babbling. Had he noticed your ring? Maybe it was your growing belly.
“It’s alright, Spiderman. You saved me from getting shot and mugged, that’s wonderful.”
He looked up. “So you’re not mad at me? Why don’t you want me to take you to the hospital then?”
“Because-"
“Of course! Karen, call mister Stark!” he blurted out, delighted he found a solution.
“What?!”
You wanted to ask who Karen was and where she had been hiding, but Stark’s name kinda caught your attention more urgently. Call Stark? You would hope he was talking about a different Stark, but this kid had some sort of a suit and was playing hero, so-
“It’s okay, he’ll help-” the boy was quick to reassure you, poor kid not having clue why you did not want to see Tony Stark in the slightest.
“No!”
“He’s a good guy!”
“I don’t need-"
“Oh, Mr. Stark! Thank god. I have a woman— no, not a girlfriend, I mean-- no, not an experimental intimate stuff mentor-"
You almost choked on your own spit. Now you had no doubt he was talking to Tony freaking Stark, because he would make a remark like that. Wonderful. You hadn’t been interacting too much with Tony; in fact, you had only met once, the meeting being pretty intense, with blood, kidnapping and stuff.
“An injured one! She was almost mugged and she’s pregnant and she’s bleeding— from her hand!” he explained exasperatedly, gesturing wildly with his hands. “And she wouldn’t go to the hospital and she’s saying it’s not necessary, but-”
There was a short silence and you wondered what Tony was saying, where, when, how and WHY had he recruited a kid and what the hell was all this.
You checked the time, finding out you really needed to go.
“I’ll show you how she is. Karen, initiate a video call-"
“No! Wait!” you yelped, lunging after a non-existent phone, desperately wanting to stop him. Oh no, please, you so didn’t have time for Tony Stark. You were sure that if Stark saw you, he would recognize you and-
“Mr. Stark is saying I should definitely bring you-"
-and would want you to come.
You raised your hands in defensive gesture. “I’m walking away.”
You looked around, gathered your handbag and stuff, spun on your heels-
“No way! Mr. Stark thinks you need medical attention-"
“I’ll make sure he needs medical attention unless I’m walking away.,” you growled loudly, more annoyed than anything else. “I really need to deliver these papers-"
“Oh! Where?! I’ll drop them off for you, madam! Maybe it’s even on our way! Where do you need them?”
You were so stunned you stuttered an address.
“Great! Let’s go!”

You’re My Kid Too
Day 2: "Pick Who Dies"| Collars| Kidnapped
Mr. Stark was going to be so pissed. She was sure of it. Getting kidnapped was one thing, but allowing for Morgan to be taken too was a whole other level. She'd been babysitting for the day, taking Morgan out for a day at the Central Park Zoo as she tried to adjust to the newly repopulated world and Mr. Stark's new family. But something had happened when they'd been looking at the penguins, and she couldn't exactly remember what it was other than the hissing of gas and the whoosh! of doors clanging closed.
But then she'd woken up, cold except for a small and warm body clinging onto her desperately as it cried. She'd realized quickly that it was Morgan, and that they definitely weren't in the zoon anymore.
"Morgan?" she'd whispered in the dark, and the girl had frozen before gripping onto harder.
"Penny, Penny!" she'd cried, and Penny had sat up, wincing at the soreness in her side, and scooping Morgan into her lap, "I thought--I thought you were gone again and I didn't wanna be alone!"
She shushed the girl placatingly, "It's okay, it's okay. We're gonna be alright, okay? You just gotta be the strong girl you always are, right?" Morgan had nodded, "Good, okay, do you know how long we've been here?" She'd shrugged, "Okay, that's alright. Have you seen anyone?"
"No."
"Okay, if someone comes in you get behind me, alright? Just sit behind me and stay quiet, can you do that?"
"Yeah," Morgan had affirmed. The girl had struck true to her word when a woman had entered the room a few hours later, hiding behind her legs as the girl stood up to face their kidnapper.
The woman smiled at the two of them, and honestly, this wasn't who Penny had been expecting. She was small, barely taller than Penny herself, middle-aged, and slightly overweight. She dressed like a high school English teacher, with a short pixie cut that had turned gray, the only remnants of her original hair color being the few strands of black.
She'd gone on about revenge and the Avengers causing the loss of her own child, and really, Penny felt for her, but kidnapping a five year-old wasn't the way to go. Then the woman had left, leaving behind a small brown bag that ended up being two water bottles and ham and cheese sandwiches that she nibbled on before handing one to Morgan.
That had been two days ago, and while protecting Morgan was on the top of her to-do list, she hadn't been quite prepared for how hard it would be to entertain her, especially when she would randomly go into fits crying for her parents and Penny could do nothing but hold her. She must've played patty cake a thousand times, struggling to remember the rhyme and having to force herself to be gentle with the preschooler in front of her.
Three meals were delivered a day, and there was a toilet in the corner of the room that she thought must be an old prison room, so overall it could be worse conditions. They weren't being tortured, they were being fed, and were at least together, though they probably both smelled since they hadn't had a shower since they'd arrived.
Penny kept telling herself to wait, to lay low like Mr. Stark had always told her to do if she got kidnapped, to let him come and rescue them, and at first she had been prepared to do that, to hunker down and wait while she was with Morgan, but two days turned to six, and then nine, each night growing colder and all she could do was hug Morgan tighter.
But then she couldn't hug Morgan.
On the ninth day the woman returned, this time with two other people with solemn expressions, and Penny had immediately pressed Morgan behind her at the tingle running up and down her spine.
"Step away," the woman ordered, the bars of the cage opening with a clang!
"No," Penny said, putting steel into her voice.
"You don't have to be more involved than you already are dear," the woman said gently, as though a doting mother to her, and Penny scowled, "I don't know who you are. A nanny or a babysitter, some poor intern who got dragged into this, but I don't want to hurt you."
"And why not? You seem fine with hurting a five year-old. She hasn't even gone to kindergarten yet! If you think she has any part of the Avengers then you're either insane or stupid. I'm leaning towards the latter."
"Step aside," she said again, a little more sternness in her voice.
"No."
"Step aside."
"She's a kid!"
"She's the daughter of a murderer, and he will feel the same pain I did."
Penny's eyes shifted to the ground, hesitant but sure, she sighed, "Fine."
"What?" The woman sounded beyond surprised.
"Fine! He can feel that pain, but not through Morgan."
"How do you--"
"You think he trusts just anybody with his daughter? Some random nanny after how many people have tried to kill him? And why do you think a teenager would be nannying her? You don't think he'd hire some really professional lady?" Penny ranted, and she could feel Morgan's arms wrap around her leg, squeezing her as she cried. She wished she could comfort her, but if she wanted Morgan to be safe, she had to put all her attention into this.
"What do you mean?" the woman asked, readjusting her glasses and giving her a once over.
"I mean Tony Stark likes me. We've known each other for years and he takes care of me and him and my aunt basically share custody of me. If you--" she swallowed, "If you hurt me, then he'll feel the same pain, but you won't have to hurt Morgan."
"And how do we know this is true?" the man behind the still nameless woman asked. For the first time since they'd arrived, she turned to Morgan.
"Morgan, what are we?" she asked gently, and Morgan sniffed.
"Sisters."
Penny turned back around, point-fucking-proven (even if it was technically a lie), to look at the shocked and calculating faces. After a tense minute, the woman finally reached a conclusion, smiling a little as she looked at her.
"Okay, works for me. We'll send it to Stark, and if what you're saying is true--and you don't fight back--then the kid will be safe. Deal?"
"Deal," Penny agreed without hesitation. They beckoned for her to leave the cell, and she began to move forward, but Morgan continued to clutch onto her harder.
"No! NO! PENNY!! DON'T GO!!" the girl cried, sobbing hysterically, but Penny had to go, she had to keep Morgan safe. Glancing between the impatient faces and Morgan's snot-covered and crying one, she kneeled down, prying the little hands away from her leg as gently as she possibly could.
"It's okay. It's okay, Morggie. Remember what I said about being brave?" A nod, "Good. Just, try and be calm, and it'll be okay. I'll make it okay."
"Promise?"
Penny hesitated, but Morgan's eyes were too wide and too smart and too much exactly like Mr. Stark's, "I promise. Pinky promise."
She held out her pinky, and Morgan accepted, tears still leaking out of her eyes as Penny stood up and stepped out of the small cell, allowing for her hands to be cuffed behind her back. She kept eye contact with Morgan the entire time, trying for a smile and not looking away until she was moving and down the hallway.
She was right about it being an old prison, the walls crumbling stone and covered in frost. She knew it was winter, but wherever they were it was cold. And every step away from Morgan became colder and colder until she was finally led into a room with a singular metal chair and a camera pointed at it.
The next few hours were some of the worst of her life.
Penny was dumped back into her and Morgan's cell the next day, barely aware of the world around her. After their little homemade video in which Penny had done her very best assuring Mr. Stark that Morgan was okay and that she was keeping her safe, she'd been left chained to the chair in the room while they sent it or whatever. She guessed they were just being extra careful about not being found, but it had sucked.
Nothing in this place was particularly comfortable, but that chair and that freezing empty room with the knowledge of Morgan alone barely a hallway over was the worst part of all of it. Yet she didn't want Morgan to see her the way she was right now.
Her arms and hands were coated in red that was dried and sticky, her lips blue and the hair atop her head--so thick and desperately in need of a cut--was still damp and clung to her skin. There were cuts and burns littering her body, and she knew she must look a mess, a true horror to the girl once again crying and pulling at her hair to try and get her to move.
"Penny? Penny, please. Wake up! If-If I have to be brave, you do too!" Morgan practically begged, and she began to stir, forcing herself onto her arms and knees, collapsing onto the barred wall instead. Morgan stared at her, scared and timid.
"It's okay, Morggie. I'm okay, see, I'm right here," Penny tried to assure, "You're doing so good. So good. Just--just be brave for a little longer, okay?"
"How much longer?"
"Not long."
And it wouldn't be. They couldn't stay here. Penny had held them off with the promise of torturing her instead, but these people were crazy, and she knew it was only a matter of time before they moved onto Morgan. The couldn't wait any longer.
The teen didn't even wait a day. She waited until the next morning when they were afforded their stupid sandwiches and water that she would throw out the stupid window if it weren't for the hunger that clawed at her chest.
The woman, different than the short and stout ringleader, approached with their bags of food. Penny was still sitting on the bars, waiting, limp and unsuspecting, until they were close enough. She struck out, grabbing their foot and easily unbalancing them. Quick as a shot, she stood up and punched them through the bars, letting her drop to the floor unconscious.
Morgan yelped in surprise, staring at the woman crumpled on the ground. But then she clapped, "Are we leaving?"
"Yep. We're going home, Mongoose," she affirmed.
"Back to Mommy and Daddy?"
"Back to Mommy and Daddy."
Morgan smiled, and then they were walking down the hallways. Morgan carried the little brown bags of food as they stalked through the hallway, Penny on edge as she escorted them to the door. They managed to not come across anyone, which was good, because Penny doubted she could fight at this point. She was limping and tired to the bone, her right arm swollen and her eye still black. If it came down to it, she'd take someone down, but they needed to get out as quick as possible.
But when they finally found the door, she hesitated. It was freezing, beyond cold. Now don't get her wrong, she knew what cold was like, New York was plenty freezing during the winter, but now she wore nothing but a shirt and jeans, as well as a hoodie wrapped around her waist. And it wasn't just cold, Penny didn't do well in the cold, it was a storm. Penny did doubley worse in a storm.
It wasn't snow that rained down, but freezing sleet and pouring rain that thundered against the slick pavement outside. She gulped. This was bad, but they couldn't stay here. Maybe...maybe she could find a way to contact Tony, but then she'd be caught, and then Morgan would be tortured. And if this was an old prison, then, well, there had to be some kind of society around.
She weighed her chances, and then she weighed Morgan's chances. Outside was better for Morgan but worse for her, so outside it was.
"Are we going out there? It looks scary," Morgan mumbled. Penny knelt down at eye level with her sister.
"I know it does, but we have to go out, okay? We'll find Daddy and Mommy out there."
"Uncle Rhodey too?"
"Especially Uncle Rhodey," Penny affirmed, taking her hoodie and putting it on Morgan, "I'm gonna carry you, can you keep the food safe for me?"
"Yeah!" Morgan said, brightening at the thought of helping.
"Great," she said, picking the girl up with a pained grunt, "Let's go."
The cold, to put it simply, stinked.
It tore at her cuts, burning and freezing. It soaked her to the bone, wrapped her in nothing but frost and ice, making her feel as though she were trapped at the bottom of a lake during winter. And Penny's inability to keep herself warm certainly didn't help. She couldn't shiver and she couldn't warm up, the most she could do was hold Morgan close to her and hope to God that she was as dry and warm as she could possibly be.
Morgan was a trooper though. Barely complaining, only ever asking how long until they were home twice, which was considerable constraint for a five year-old. Apparently the answer to when they'd get home--or at least at a town--was four hours. Four hours of trudging over wet, slushy ground. Four hours of wandering until she found railroad tracks to follow. Four hours until a house finally appeared through the gray storm.
"Morgan, look. A house!" she choked out in relief at the sight of it. She heard Morgan let out a pitiful cry in response, and Penny could do nothing but continue to stumble forward. There were a few more houses surrounding it, but she stuck with the nearest one, ducking between the cars and stumbling onto the porch.
Her vision was hazy as she rang the doorbell, hugging Morgan tighter to her. Due to the late hour it took a few minutes for someone to answer, the door finally being flung open by an old woman, who gaped at them in shock.
"Please..." Penny begged, "2-1-2. 6-5-5. 9-0-0-8. 2-1-2. 6-5-5. 9-0-0-8. 2-1-2. 6-5-5. 9-0-0-8. 2-1-2..."
When Penny passed out, making sure to land on her back and not Morgan, she was still repeating those numbers, mumbling as the woman screamed in surprise. She really hoped she remembered the number.
Tony stared intently at the girl in front of him. She was still pale, even after being in the Medbay for two days, though her cuts and burns had thankfully healed. Hypothermia was the kicker, but he knew she'd push through. She had too.
Morgan had managed to full recover, which made sense. She hadn't been blue when he'd found her, well, when he'd gotten a call in the middle of the night from some lady in Canada saying that two girls had shown up on her doorstep repeating his number. His heart had leapt in joy, in relief. He'd gotten the video of Penny being tortured barely a few hours earlier, and it had been the worst experience of his life.
He'd thrown up, unable to take Penny's cries telling him that Morgan was safe all the while she hadn't been.
His kids being taken had been a truly crippling experience, especially with no contact. He'd begun to break by day five of no contact, and when he'd gotten that video of Penny, he'd almost been relieved, and it made him sick. Whoever had taken Penny, well, he'd been playing right into their hands.
But Penny had escaped, had taken Morgan and run at the first sign of real danger, and he couldn't be more grateful to have one kid in his lap and the other laying in front of him. Though he'd prefer Penny be awake.
Like his thoughts had summoned her, she blinked awake within the next few minutes. Her heart rate picked up as she looked around the room, then calmed down as she caught sight of him. She smiled sleepily.
"Hey, Mr. Stark," she greeted, "Is she okay?"
"She's great. What about you? How are you feeling?"
"Fine. Morgan's safe. She's safe, Mr. Stark."
"I know, Penny. I know," he assured, moving to grip her hand, "And now you're safe too, okay? Even though you walked through -20 degree weather knowing you can't keep warm."
"I thought the cold would get me," she admitted, "But they were going to go for Morgan next. They were going to hurt her."
His hand shook, "They hurt you. And you're my kid too, Penny." She looked at him with wide eyes, so he carried on, "You're my kid, just like Morgan. So please know you gave me a heart attack."
"Oh, I already knew that, Mr. Stark. Not the--not the kid part. But the uh, heart part."
He smiled, shaking his head. Sniffing in disdain, he pressed a kiss to her head, cupping Morgan closer to himself so as to keep her from waking up, "Whatever, kid. Just know that I love you and go back to sleep."
She smiled, and blinking tiredly, she drifted once more.

a goodbye message for my dad.
“Hey, Mr. Stark. I- I don’t know if you’ll... ever see this, I really hope not. Unless it’s because you hacked into my suit, in which case; sir, you suck, sir. But if... If that’s not the case then it means I’m dead. Or gone in some other way, but probably dead. In either case, it means that you won’t get me back as... as I am now. Or at all, if I’m dead.
Okay, sorry, that’s, uh, probably not what you want to hear right now. I’ll just get on with what I have to say.
Since I’m gone now, I have a few things to tell you. I hope I felt brave enough to say them before, y’know, dying, but it’s better late then never, right? Uh, anyway, I’m just gonna say it.
I love you, Mr. Stark. You’re- you’re like a father to me. I dunno, you just- I know you think you don’t deserve love, but sir, you really do. I want to call you dad. Karen, do you think Mr. Stark will mind if I call him dad for the rest of this?”
There was a muffled voice Tony recognized as ‘Karen’s’. Fresh tears ran down his cheeks as he remembered the kid named her after some character in Spongebob. Fucking Spongebob. Because he was such a dork.
“Okay. Uh- I’ll call you dad from now on. Sorry if that makes you uncomfortable, I just- I really want to call you that. I may not get the chance while I’m alive, but if I’m dead then that means I’ve got nothing to lose! By the way, I just made finger-guns— oh wait, right. Uh. Probably shouldn’t joke about that now. Oops. Sorry.
A-anyways, I, uh. I haven’t really thought this - I don’t know, goodbye-voicemail thing? - through, but I- I want it to be sincere, so sorry if I’m rambling. I don’t want the last time you hear me talk to you be some kind of formal speech, y’know?
I, um. I actually met you earlier, when I was like, seven years old. You know when those robots came and began shooting at that Stark-Expo-thing? Anyway, uh, you saved me, back then. My parents died that night and... and I was so upset. I-I didn’t even wanna live at that moment which is kind of, uh, messed up. A suicidal seven-year old. But I promise, that’s like, the only time I felt like that! So I’m not like that anymore. If you’re watching this thinking that’s how I died, then that didn’t happen. I was definitely murdered if so, or maybe threatened to kill myself to protect someone, I don’t know.
Wait, crap, I’m getting off track. What- what I meant to say was that... You know that kid with the ironman mask? Who tried to shoot one of the drones by just mimicking you, holding his hand up? Yeah, that was me. And- and you didn’t just physically save me by stopping it from shooting me, but you... You made this kind of- I don’t know, light? Let’s go with that. You made this light inside me that made me want to keep fighting. You inspired me to do what you do, protect people. If- if that hadn’t happened, if I hadn’t been a dumb kid and if you hadn’t saved me, then I... I honestly don’t think I’d have survived this long. So... Thank you so much, dad. You’re my hero.
Please don’t blame yourself for whatever’s happened. If you do, I will posses someone just to slap you. Okay, that’s a lie. Just don’t do it, okay? See it as my dying wish; don’t blame yourself.
I- I don’t think there’s more I can say? I just- I love you, dad. I hope I got to tell you that, but I probably chickened out every time I was about to. So I’m telling you this now, even if it’s probably too little too late.
So, yeah. I love you so much, and you do deserve it. I promise you, you do. Don’t blame yourself for whatever happened, okay? I love you. I’m- I’m sorry you had to lose me.
Karen, end recording.”
His breath came out, shuddering. His shaking hand hovered over the replay button, because he just... He needed to hear his son’s voice again. Maybe it wasn’t healthy, but Tony didn’t care. Why should he even, when Peter was dead?
Even though the kid explicitly told him not to blame himself, he couldn’t not do that. It had been his fault, after all. He hadn’t protected the kid like he should, he shouldn’t have been so reckless. He should’ve been better.
A sob wrestled its way out of him, and he hit replay again, just like he’d been doing for hours.
He closed his eyes as the voice sounded again, and Tony let himself imagine the kid was actually here, breathing and alive. That he wasn’t a bunch of small dust particles, floating in the air as though he was nothing, even if he was everything.
“Hey, Mr. Stark.”
The recording replayed once again.
(you can read this on ao3 if you want, i’d really appreciate it!! if you would like to follow me there and leave a kudo it’d make me really happy…. >.<”)

Please write an irondad post about how peter feels about tony!! I feel like the directors make peter’s view of tony more subtle than Tony’s view of peter and it’d be awesome if you could decode it! ;0
Hi!
God, Tom’s words really got me♥
I’m going to use the movies and novelizations for this, especially the Homecoming novelization since I think no one talks about it and I want to point out certain things.
Ok, check this out:
Tony’s POV:
Peter's voice was as exuberant and light as ever, something Tony both secretly admired and feared. This battle would be no place for someone as green and unbroken as Peter Parker.
Tony smiled as Peter stood tall in the center.
"Yeah, that makes sense" Peter said, and Tony's heart broke. Even hanging off the side of a spaceship hurtling into space, seconds from dying, Peter Parker was still just open and trusting as he'd always been.
--
Peter’s POV:
"What if she’s expecting someone like Tony Stark? I mean, imagine how disappointed she’d be when she sees me."
dorks.
I just wanted to be like you.
And I wanted you to be better.
You know that feeling you get when you admire someone and at the same time, you feel like you can actually understand them? Yeah, this is them. They work like a mirror. This is how Peter feels, just like Tony sees himself in the kid, Peter identifies himself in Tony. Peter and Tony both react the same way when it comes to their relationship. They both think the other is ‘better’ and at the same time, they can understand each other pretty well.
Tony’s POV:
At the same time, Tony knew there was nothing he could do to keep Peter away. Just like Tony, Peter had a code.
Peter’s POV:
Of course, Mr. Stark hadn't believed him. He'd seen right through him.
Peter has stated before that Tony made him feel okay and normal, something he never thought he’d feel again. He knows that if he gets Tony’s approval then he gets to feel that normalcy again. He feels understood.
It was probably the only place in the city where I fit in. You had your overachievers, genius-level-yet-stressed-out-obsessive-compulsives, inventors of the Next Big Thing, all with at least one overblowing backpack, all wiling in to forge new ground and show the world that nerds really would inherit the earth. I was surrounded by students showing off their newest advances in AI technology, “rebels” furiously hacking their way to exposing corruption online, friends discussing string theory, and the probabilities of Stephen Hawking’s multiverse.
This is how Peter thinks of himself, he thinks his school is probably the only place he fits in. I think I mentioned this before in my homecoming analysis but Peter’s need to be an Avenger is because 1. he truly wants to make a difference, 2.he’s bored, he’s a genius kid and school is not doing enough for him anymore and 3. he feels like Tony is the only one that can understand him.
I don’t understand exactly why but some people think Peter is dumb. He can be clumsy sometimes but this kid is a genius and he understands the struggles of having a brain like his.
“Do geniuses know how normal things like backpacks even work?“
“Yes, we are familiar,“ Peter replied with a weak smile. If only she knew...
--
“Right as always,” Ms. Warren said, her praise causing Flash to stare daggers at me. Whatever.
--
“Yeah, my parents feel guilty working all the time, you guys would really get along, Peter” Her joke hit a little close to home, and I looked down a little.
--
He looked from the ship to the other kids on the bus to see if anyone else saw it. Nothing. Just him. As usual.
Peter not only wants the understanding that comes from Tony, but he also wants someone he can relate to. And I’m not talking about money or fame, I’m talking something deeper.
When they were on the plane, Peter criticized Tony’s choice of food as if telling him that what he was eating wasn’t enough to be considered ‘food’ and then proceeded to only have some juice and sleep the rest of the trip because he recklessly pulled an all-nighter. lmao irondad stans you guys are always accurate with your fics.
Also, are you really going to tell me that this is not what a relationship between a father and a son look like?
"I really don't want to sound like my old man here. Look, kid, Just forget the flying man. Stay closer to the ground in Queens, build up your game helping the little people. You know, like the old lady who bought you that churro." That churro. Happy had told him everything. "Look, Tony—uh, Mr. Stark," I started. --
My suit agreed. "It does seem unwise. Trespassers are prosecuted. Or shot' "It's worse than that—if they find me in here, Mr. Stark is gonna kill me!" I started to panic. I had to get out of here! --
"Okay, sorry, Mr. Stark" I sighed. "I know you said to keep a low profile, but I gotta get out" I started banging on the door.
--
Tony Stark's words echoed in my head: Keep doing what you're doing, saving the little people.... Except these weren't just the little people"—they were my friends. As long as they were safe, everything would be okay. I didn't need to wait for that call to be an Avenger. I was already Spider-Man.
I just love how they unconsciously treated each other like family.
Peter, just like any other teenager, looks for validation from people he admires. In the Homecoming Novelization Peter congratulates himself every time he does something good and loves it when it comes from Tony for the same reasons I listed before.
Finally, we pulled up a safe distance from the apartment, so we didn’t attract too much attention. We sat in some seriously awkward silence for a moment before Mr. Stark finally said something.“Ya did good, kid,”
“I did good? I did good!“
“It’s yours,” Stark replied. “You earned it.” My heart was going a mile a minute. “Awesome!”
Look at them mirroring each other when it comes to them and how they feel.
Peter’s POV
“Yeah, and pretty soon it’s going to lead to a real job with him,” I said, trying to convince both him and myself.
Something really cute about them is that they both are exactly as you guys picture them in fanfics. They don’t say each other’s first name but think of each other that way.
Peter’s POV
“I thought I was gonna freeze up after Tony yelled out ‘Underoos.”
That churro. Happy had told him everything. "Look, Tony—uh, Mr. Stark," I started.
Tony’s POV
Tony had only continued onto the ship because he felt certain that he'd gotten Peter safely out of harm's way.
"Kid! Where'd you come from?" Iron Man asked, his voice sounding a little too relieved and grateful for his taste.
They refuse to call each other by their names even if in IW they already had a more solid relationship than in HOCO, for them it’s ‘Kid’ and ‘Mr. Stark’. They even have other nicknames, as you already know but one of the cutest nicknames is ‘boss man’. Tom Holland calls RDJ that in real life and they used that nickname in the novelization.
When RDJ said this:
The amount of betrayal Stark has had to deal with and what it's like to try and open up to someone new. The actor points out that Peter is young and that treachery comes with age. That his character is more willing to trust Peter because of his age. And how the relationship was established in the previous film when Tony shuts Peter down after he's been hurt. Not a move Tony would've done with most of the other Avengers, expecting them to push through just as he would.
He’s absolutely right, as you can see, they both banter but at the same time Tony opens up to Peter without hesitation.
trust
"So where are you?" I asked, looking around suspiciously. I half expected to see a drone In the sky spying on me.
"India." came the response. "I thought I'd hit up a Hindu temple. Center myself. That sort of thing."
banter
"Thank God this place has WI-Fi or you would have drowned."
"I had a strategy." I did not have a strategy.
'What, to die and fight him in the afterlife?"
Another example of them mirroring each other is in IW. It's been said in the novels that Tony making Peter an Avenger when did was something he considered a big choice and major sacrifice. He truly didn’t want him on the team, not because he thought Peter wasn’t capable, but because he wasn’t ready for Peter to be that. Meanwhile, Peter, who knows Tony is pretty much capable on his own, said he stuck himself to the side of the ship in IW because he thought about Tony.
The same level of protectiveness, same thoughts.
Like a mirror.
.
Also how cute are Peter’s thoughts about Liz?
Liz walked by with the rest of the Homecoming committee, and the entire world seemed to melt away around her.
“It’s working for her.” I stared at her outfit and agreed that it was definitely working for her. OUR SPIDEY BOI IS FLIRTY AF
She was thinking of me. The warm fuzzies started.
Liz defending Peter from Flash?:
“I can’t believe we’re catering to him. We don’t need this dork.” Good. There was my opening to break it to them that—“As team captain, I disagree,” Liz cut in.
"No way!" he objected. "You can't just quit on us and then turn around and stroll up here and—" "Flash. Liz cut him off, her voice leaving no doubt as to who the captain was.
Liz smiled at me as I took my seat. Don't blush. Don't blush. I blushed and gave a small smile back as I settled in next to Ned for the trip to Washington, DC.
And Peter’s eternal beef with Betty either sharing Ned or with Spider-Man. I love for this friendship lmao

Part 20 - Explaining and War
Your POV....
It took me 30 minutes and I was finished. I didn't need the thing to land for me. I can fly. I opened the door, got with my cat and stuff out, turned around, closed the door and went away to the office. There they were, well Bruce and Thor were missing....like Natasha. Fury turned around and saw me first. He looked a little surprised, after he saw me...Tony and Steve saw me also.
"What are you doing ?", Tony asked shocked.
"I am leaving, Tony. Luna isn't happy about it too, but I get pushed into things, which I didn't mean to happen. I am a problem for Mr. Fury, so I will leave. I hope you can find a way to stop Loki, from destroying and ruling our world. Goodbye."
Tony looked at me shocked and then stared at Fury with anger.
"What did she do, Fury ?", Steve asked.
"I....I imputed to her that she has tricked us with Loki and everything...", he answered.
Tony stood up and hit with his hands the table, hard. I flinched like all the others.
"Take that back ! She has no fault in it ! Did you let her explain at least ?!", he yelled at Fury, I was surprised.
"No. I didn't.", he admitted.
"Then let her ! NOW !!", Steve said, also mad.
Fury sighed and looked at me. Waiting for me to explain. I laughed.
"NOW you want me to explain ?! Oh boy...you really are like Odin ! First judging and then asking and listening ?! I am so fed up right now..."
Tony came to me and rubbed my back, after 3 minutes he hugged me, I hugged back and calmed down.
"You wanna know a story ? Short with every detail ?", I asked after I pulled away.
They all nodded. I told them to sit down and they did, I also did.
"First...I am half Jotun and half Asgardian too. Please don't tell Thor for now. Thor knows me, like Loki. I was with them befriends. Loki was the real best friend in my childhood. I lived 7 years in Asgard. 5 years by my parents and 2 years in the castle of Loki and Thor. I disguised myself and changed all my obvious looks. No one ever knew my real me, except my friends, which I knew I could trust. Some dumb shit happened after 2 years were almost full, that I was living in the castle. Odin and Heimdall imputed me on killing some warriors and attacking Heimdall, but I was the whole time with my friends and Loki... Odin didn't believe me and banished me to a lifedead planet. I was there a few weeks or maybe even months until someone found me and took me with themself. 10 years I was there and then I ran away. 342 more years I stayed on Jotunheim and as I was finally ready to let my memories, about my friends and Loki, go...he, Thor, Fandral, Volstagg, Hogun and Lady Sif were in Jotunheim and Thor was so ignorant...that he pushed Loki aside, always. Loki wanted to go home, because what they did was forbidden and the Frost Giants could command war anytime then. Because of Thor, war between Jotunheim and Asgard broke out and Loki actually wanted to avoid that. Thor got banished from Odin and Loki wanted to save Thor from that, but Odin screamed at Loki to shut up and so he did. Loki wasn't always like that. Before Odin saved the others I protected them as good as I could and almost died because of it. Odin and Loki took me with them. In the end Loki and I had an argument and the friendship broke. He fell off of the Rainbowbridge and fell into an 'abyss'. 2 years and now he is here, acting like an asshole. It isn't Loki and I know him well enough. My real name is Destiny Andrea Dust, but I hide that name with Luciella Dusk. Loki knows my real name and nobody else."
Tony, Fury and Steve stared at me.
"And now to the bad Loki and the misjudging. He wanted to see where the scepter was and I showed him, he touched it with one of his fingers and went over it and it put him again under control. He wanted to find out if it was the scepter or something else, that put him under control. I realized it just as it was too late and I threw him into his cell again. I locked the doors again and went outside. Thor is my eyewitness, because he saw me with the scepter in my hand and Loki in his cell again. I told Thor what happened and then went in my room."
"How did you free him from the spell the first time ?", Fury asked.
"I asked Bruce and Hulk. It took some time to convince him, but I made it. Hulk smashed Loki into the ground very fast and hard. It would have killed every mortal, but a God...Loki is probably traumatized... If Hulk can do that again, Loki is the old one again...I think..."
"From where did you know that he wasn't himself ?", Tony asked.
"Loki was always one for Mischief, but that went too far, even for him. He always wanted respect, attention and acceptance. He was never someone for such crazy, sick shit. He is a Prankmaster not a killer. He would never do something, where he knows he could get beheaded for. And he had blue eyes instead of the green ones. His real eyecolor is green not blue. I am shocked that Thor doesn't see that. The real Loki is locked away and gets killed slowly and painfully with every second. The scepter is the reason. We need to do something against that. Now.", I said.
They all looked at eachother.
"You can't give up now ! I need you ! These people need you ! Loki needs us ! Don't tell me we let them all die and get ruled by someone, who isn't even my best friend himself ! I know his errors and this...is not him ! Help them, help me, help him....please.... Tony, Fury, Steve...you all can do it. Don't give up now. Loki's life gets controlled and threatened from someone ! DO SOMETHING, PLEASE.", I begged.
Tony and Steve went away. After 20 minutes they came back.
"We will fight. We won't give up now. Let's get Reindeer Games and kick his sorry ass, until he is the old one again. Lets save New York. And even if we die, we die as heros not as cowards.", Tony said.
"We need a name.... Something. Like a Liga has.", Steve said.
"How about the name like these people wanted to call the team anyways...'The Avengers ?'", I asked them.
Tony and Steve smiled at me.
"If you join us, we take the name. Do you have some powers ?", Tony asked.
"I have a lot.", I said smiling.
"Then leave your things here and put on some fighting clothes. We have a war to win.", Steve and Fury said.
"And to kick some ass.", Tony added.
I smiled, nodded, opened my bag and pulled some clothes of Asgard out. It almost looked like Loki's, just in complete black, then I pulled out my armor...which was completely black too. I ran into a room and changed. As I walked out they all stared at me.
"Wow...you look almost like you don't have armor on.", Tony said.
I grinned.
"This armor is new and Loki doesn't know of it, he will think that I am easy to kill. My helmet is missing....", I said.
"Then get it and put it on.", Steve said.
"Then he knows that I have an armor on. I will later...", I said mischievous.
They nodded and smiled.
"With what do you fight ?", Fury asked.
"I am like Loki. I use Magic to make things appear. I use...daggers, swords, guns, spears and all that...Everything I find as a weapon.", I answered.
Fury nodded. After 20 more minutes, Tony was in his Iron man suit and Steve in his Captain America one. Natasha and Clint came too and we all flew to New York. I used my powers to fly there and was there earlier than Tony. Boy...we go to Stark Tower together.....
Let this shit beginn...

Manual Override
A/N: Written for the wonderful @blondsak for the irondad fic exchange!! She actually gave me this idea and I like to think I twisted it and made it my own. Angst and fluff ahead friends.
Also on Ao3
“FRIDAY has already scanned the area. There’s no civilians. Give me the mission rundown.” Tony says. He’s hovering above a rooftop with Peter, surrounded by dusty warehouses that look like they haven’t been visited in at least two decades. It’s a low grade mission for Iron Man, but he’s been trying to train Peter more. He’d been tipped off that more of Toomes weapons were being sold here, and Peter has seemed to make it his personal responsibility to keep them off the streets since The Vulture fiasco.
“Okay I swing in while you stand guard out here. The tracker said the computer that we want to hack into is somewhere in the middle of the building. We just have to get to it first. So, we take out the guys, or girls - girls can be super villains too! - guarding it, and then have FRIDAY or Karen download all the info. And then, get out and bust the bad guys. Easy peasy.” Peter smiles, fingers drumming against his leg in anticipation.
“I think you’ve got it. Let’s go. You’re gonna do great, kid,” he says, trying to encourage Peter in a way he never was as a child. Or even an adult. He really doesn’t want to mess this up, whatever this is.
Pepper had immediately coined it as co-parenting over dinner one night, much to Tony's denial.
("So you're co-parenting the kid now?" she’d quipped, her brow raising as she suppressed a laugh.
"No. I'm not a parent. A co-parent or a co--"
"You spent dinner last night telling me about his chemistry project and academic decathlon meets. The only other person you talk about more is yourself."
"Not true."
Her amused smile turned smug as she cast her gaze to the ceiling. "FRIDAY?"
There was a pause as the A.I. gathered her data. "In the past 5 months, you have talked about Peter 40% more than anyone else. Most of your conversations with Happy Hogan revolve around Peter Parker as well."
"That doesn't prove anything."
"You picked him up from school, Tony. Because he was sick."
"I was being a responsible mentor. "
"Parent."
"Mentor."
"Fine, live in denial. Tell May I said hi at your monthly dinner where you talk about your kid.")
Tony smiles at the memory. And yes, maybe he had bought back the tower on impulse after Karen called him while Spider-Man was half out of his mind with pain and a knife wedged six inches into his leg. And if he thought the sight of blood seeping profusely from the wound was awful, it was nothing compared to his mentee's muffled cries as he held him against his chest during the flight over. After that, Tony had upped his training. Which brings them here. He’s brought out of his reverie with the sound of said kid quietly singing “Private Eyes” to himself. Under his mask, Tony smiles as he sighs.
“How stealthy of you, Spider-Man.”
Peter mutters an apology, but continues to hum the song at a lower volume. A few minutes pass before he speaks up. “I found it! It’s not even guarded. Okay, Karen, just do your thing.” A beat. “Okay, Mr. Stark. It’s downloading. I’ll just...wait here.”
"Boss. I think -" FRIDAY stops mid sentence, her constant, faint humming silencing completely. He calls out for her, and nothing happens. He calls for Peter and Spider-Man. Nothing. His stomach drops, a panic coiling it’s way up his throat, constricting his airwaves and he has to get out, has to help Peter, Peter --
"Confused, Stark?" A voice taunts into his comm. It’s an older, male voice, raspy and definitely not the voice he was wanting to hear. "Just consider me an old friend.”
“You’re not FRIDAY,” Tony bites. It’s not, and as he says it he realizes shit, FRIDAY is gone. He racks his brain for anything, any sort of recognition or plan. This voice, it’s not entirely foreign. He’s heard it before somewhere, he knows. He’s had to. He’s --
“I always knew arrogance would be your downfall, Anthony. Thinking no one could ever replicate or hack your tech. Though I gotta admit, this suit is incredibly impressive. Who knew I’d have this much fun watching your vitals? The way your panic is increasing every time I speak, it’s just pure joy. I mean, I didn’t plan to take you out via heart attack, but can you imagine the headlines? Scaring Iron Man to death. Now that’s a feat.”
“How the fuck did you even hack my suit?”
“It was easy as soon as you hacked into my system. Getting you here was laughably easy, too. I can’t believe you fell for that whole Toomes weapon bullshit. And now, I own you.”
“Like hell you do,” Tony spits. But as soon as he says it, he realizes he can’t leave the suit. He’s trapped, a powerlessness seeping in that he hasn’t felt since Obie ripped his arc reactor out or since he watched Pepper fall into a fiery explosion. He swallows past the lump in his throat, breathing in and out twice, praying to whatever god or gods that Peter stays hidden. As if mocking him, the voice says.
“It's a pity that Spider nuisance has to suffer too. Seems smart, young. Is that how you like them, Stark?"
Dread pools in his gut, burning hot and wrathful. He tries to move, but the suit remains still. Stuck. Trapped in his own creation.
"You touch him and I'll gut you from the inside out," Tony spits.
"Oh I wouldn't dare. You will though."
Tony's blood runs cold. Against his will, he flies through the window, shattering it. Spider-Man is a few rooms over. Tony stares, terrified, as his screen outlines his figure in neon red, underlined with the word TARGET.
The Iron Man suit fires, and Spider-Man dodges, the eyes of the mask widening.
“Woah, Mr. Stark! I know -”
The gauntlet fires again, this time grazing Peter’s arm. Tony can see angry red blisters that rival the color of his suit. The younger hero stumbles and falls back, shooting a web at Iron Man’s extended arm.
“I’m so sorry I can’t control it!” Tony pleads. He was wrong, and in this moment he knows it more fiercely than he has ever known anything. He cares for Peter, feels it deep in his bones as the metal around his hand makes contact with Peter’s mask. He hears a crack and a curse muffled by red spandex.
Tony’s own nerves are fraying, the earlier panic threatening to spill over into a full blown attack.
He, the suit he tells himself, not me, the hacker, yanks Peter up, repulsors burning angry through the suit and into his skin. Tony thinks of all the times he’s picked him up to protect and rescue him. He thinks he might puke as he throws him across the room, denting the wall.
It was only a month ago that he gave Peter the-worlds-most-awkward-talk on panic attacks in existence.
("Pete - you know," he stops, running a hand down his face and pinching the bridge of his nose. "I'm the world's worst example of how to handle emotions and um," he swallows down the urge to divert the conversation. "Trauma. But it unfortunately comes with the job. The wormhole might have looked cool, but it really fucked with my head - sorry I shouldn't say fucked, but - dammit." He sighs, finally directing his gaze to Peter. He's curious, face reddened with embarrassment, but he's hanging on Tony's every word. So he barrels on. "My therapist tells me it's good, to you know, talk about this shit. And it is - I've learned. I was having panic attacks nearly every day, but the last straw was when I nearly killed Pep after waking up from a nightmare. After that, I knew I needed help. Anyway, it's actually been really good and I can set you up with a therapist, which I think you should see because panic attacks suck. You can also talk to me, if you want. You aren't alone and I care about you and all that jazz." Tony claps his hands together before placing one on Peter's shoulder. "Okay, great talk." He pats his shoulder, looking away from the sheen in Peter's eyes.)
A hysterical laugh bubbles to the surface at the memory. Some fucking mentor he is. Parent, he clarifies, Pepper’s accusation ringing more true with each second. Peter’s finally defending himself against Tony’s advances. Still not fighting back, even as he screams at him to.
Peter himself has been uncharacteristically quiet as he fights, and Tony feels a rush of guilt. He can’t do anything, trapped. Peter, Tony realizes with horrifying clarity, is probably afraid of hurting him.
“I swear to god, kid, if you don’t start fighting back I’m going to-”
The fist to his stomach has him seeing white. It’s the most welcomed pain he’s ever felt in his life. His head falls against the concrete, and Tony smiles, tasting metal. Spider-Man looms over him, head tilted to the side in worry. “I’m so so sorry, Mr. Stark. Are you okay?”
Tony grunts. The voice comes back.
“I wonder what electrocution will do to your heart,” it teases. He thinks this is already the worst thing that could happen to his heart, but he protests against the suggestion anyway.
“Now wait a second!” He hears the suit charge up.
Everything goes dark.
Peter watches, as the suit jerks, and then slumps, an unfamiliar voice speaking. “Tony Stark isn’t here anymore.”
-/-/-/-
“Mr. Stark!” Peter screams. It’s guttural, the crack of his voice echoing off the empty walls. He drops to his knees in front of his mentor, hands and lips trembling. “No, no, no. Mr. Stark. I’m so sorry, please be okay. Please be okay, sir. You’ve gotta - Mr. Stark,”
The air around him tastes stale and his breaths come in short, shallows gasps. There’s a deep, piercing throbbing in his head, like fingernails engraving their crescents into his scalp. He focuses on the pain, on the taste of salt and blood on his lips. His fingers tremble as he reaches for the suit, gently at first. The red metal is smooth and warm from battle. He caresses it, whispering a prayer.
Please don’t be dead. Please don’t be dead. Tony I need you. -
Mr. Stark had told him he was strong once, but he can feel himself crumbling now. He shuts his eyes tight, scrunching his face as the memory resurfaces.
(Peter sits on the kitchen island at the penthouse, legs dangling back in forth, a bowl of Frosted Flakes in his hands. “So who do you think is the strongest Avenger?” he asked. “And you can’t say Iron Man. That’s cheating.” Tony raises a brow.
“Well that’s just no fun. But just between you and me? Bruce. If you tell him I said so, I’m stealing your baby pictures from May and sending them to the team.”
Peter drops his spoon. “You wouldn’t.”
“Is that a bet you wanna take? You know what, actually. There is someone who gives him a run for his money.”
“Thor. Obviously Thor.”
“What is it with you and Point Break, kid? No. It’s you. You - savor this moment Pete. I will deny if asked, but kid? Saving Toomes after he repeatedly tried to kill you? After everything he did...I...That’s strength. Not to mention the whole lifting a building that collapsed on top of you too. In your underoos suit.”
Peter ignores the last bit, lets disbelief and pride mingle together as he considers his response. “Thank you,” he whispers just loud enough for him to hear.)
Peter swallows down the lump in his throat, opens his eyes and looks at the unresponsive suit in front of him. The eyes of the Iron Man mask are black. Peter grips the metal around the suits abdomen and pulls. It rips, pulls crimson from the skin of his finger. Underneath the metal, he sees one of Tony’s workout shirts stretched over his stomach, slightly torn. He pulls more. Again
The offbeat thump thump of Tony’s heartbeat and gasp for air as Peter carefully removes the mask, sends relief flooding Peter so fast he practically falls into Tony.
“I thought you were -” Peter stops on a sob. “You weren’t responding. Mr. Stark and the voice--” Peter buries his still masked head in Tony’s neck.
“I’m okay, kid.” Tony’s hand cradles Peter’s head and he melts into the touch. They sit like that for a minute, relishing in the others aliveness. “Hey, Peter? Can you look at me for a sec?" Reluctantly, Peter sits up, pulls away just enough for Tony to reach out and remove Peter's mask. Tony curses at the sight of his face, blotchy red rimmed eyes. Blood trickles down his temple, cheekbone a mixture of purple and yellow. His nose is crooked, broken. “Peter, I’m so so sorry--”
“You’re sorry? No, I’m sorry. I had, I had this feeling but I just thought, I don’t know what I thought. I should have known something was wrong sooner-”
“Nope. No we aren’t playing this game. In no universe was this your fault.”
“Well then it wasn’t yours either.”
“Kid…”
“I heard him, the dude who Pod personed you. I know you’d never try to hurt me like that. Besides, I’ve had worse face planting into a brick building while swinging and making a tik tok. It’s fine, Mr. Stark.” They both know the latter part is a lie, but Tony’s lips quirk into an almost smile at the memory.
“But I-”
“No. Can we just...go home?” Peter’s thumb circles on the pulse point at Tony’s wrist, and he exhales on a deep breath. His whole body aches.
“Yeah, Pete. I just gotta do something real quick.”
Tony calls Rhodey, has him track the hacker down. They later find it was a former SI employee, William Riva, whom Obie had fired over not being able to replicate the arc reactor. It only intensifies Tony’s guilt, but he stirs in it quietly. Peter’s enhancement leaves no scars for Tony to ruminate over. And though Tony had expected Peter to distance himself, quite the opposite happens.
A week later, after spending every other afternoon at the Tower, Peter finds himself with a real, official internship with SI. He’s more of Tony’s personal assistant than any of the other interns, but it gives him a chance to work in the labs with Tony. To Doomsday plan suits and run codes to prevent any sort of future hacking. Briefly thinking his mentor might have died, had solidified a scary thought, but when Tony wraps Peter in a hug like it’s the most natural thing in the world, he accepts it. Mr. Stark is a friend and a teammate and a mentor. But more than that, Peter sees him as the closest thing he’s had to a father figure since Ben. He’s pretty sure Tony feels the same, with all of his mother-henning and safety protocols, but he’s not going to be the one to bring it up. When it comes down to it, Peter will do anything to protect that, no matter where it takes him.

Unforeseen Chasm (Part 44)
Prompt: Two sisters fall for men that are absolute enemies. The love they have could tear all of them apart, or it could bring them together.

Warnings: Language, arguing, meeting the parents song for this part: Note: This is by far the longest thing I’ve ever written (including my novels). It’s a collaboration with the amazing @mrs-dragneel-stark-solo. It started as a funny “What if…?” and it evolved and got huge. This took two years to write. We are both proud and happy and we hope you enjoy it. It follows from Thor 1 to Endgame in the MCU. Some of the timelines may be off in order to fit certain people, and some characters may show up earlier or in different ways than they have in the movie. But for the most part, it follows the MCU. It also has a bit of crossover with some other Marvel characters throughout the story.
Masterlist for Unforeseen Chasm

Getting home was quick, all Shannon had to do was call the tower and have one of the suits come get her. She didn’t feel like going through traffic and she also had to get home soon to be able to get Tony to agree with letting Loki be a guest at the wedding. She knew that he would never agree to it, but she knew that if she put an ultimatum on him about getting to the wedding in an ironman suit.
“JARVIS, where is Tony at right now?” she asked the Al as she headed over to the closet to change clothes
“He is currently in the common area. Would you like me call him over?” the system replied.
“Just let him know that I’d like to talk to him about some of changes to the guest list for the wedding.”
“Right away,” was all the Al replied.
Shannon spent some time looking at some of the ideas for table decor but couldn’t seem to figure out which one so she saved some she liked to have you help her pick the next day. It’d been a few minutes when Tony walked in holding two cups with what Shannon assumed was either coffee or soda.
“Hey, babe. Back from Y/N/N’s already? How was the movie?”
“Well she wasn’t there so there was no movie night…”
“Oh? So… where were you all this time?” he wondered.
“I was still at Y/N’s. I was...I spent my evening..talking with Loki,” she told Tony as she took the cup from his hand and took a sip. She noticed it was hot soda with lemon and knew he was helping her get her throat to get healed.
“What? Why? You were alone with that bag of fucked up crazy?” he asked, sounding concerned. “Are you alright? Did he do anything to you?”
“Relax, would you? I am more than capable of handling things if they’d gotten out of control.” She felt hurt that Tony didn’t think she was capable of protecting herself. “I’m perfectly fine, he didn’t do anything. We talked and got to know more about each other, we talked about things I didn’t think I’d ever have to tell him.” She got quiet at the end hoping not to have to discuss exactly what was said.
“You… talked? So you went over for scones and tea? Come on, Shannon. What the hell went on?” he urged. There was no possible way Shannon sat and had a civilized conversation with that maniac just for fun.
“I didn’t plan on going over to talk to him. Jeez, Tony you make it sound like we don’t deserve to get on the same page and figure out how to be around each other peacefully.” Shannon raised her voice but knew she shouldn’t let it get too far lest she want to end up back in the Med Bay. “He was there, cleaning some things and was looking at an old photo album that I had thought Y/N had gotten rid of. Turns out, she didn’t, and I remembered there were some things I had hidden in the back that he would eventually find…” She was shutting down. She didn’t like bringing up the things she’d done back before college especially with how Tony had reacted when she’d told him. “I told him some things about me to clear any future disagreements.”
“I’m sure that went well,” he muttered. “Being as he’s a mass murderer and all, I’m sure your past looked like sunshine and fairies.”
“You want to talk about mass murderers?!” she shrieked, causing the lights to flicker a moment. “JARVIS, keep Bruce on call for getting me to the med bay,” she called the Al, “and send him active vitals until he sees I need to go to the Bay.”
“Right away, Miss,” he replied.
“News flash, Tony you’re getting married to one, or did you forget? Because I sure as shit didn’t. You may not forgive him but I do. I know why he did what he did. I would have done the same too if it meant keeping you safe and alive!” Her voice got louder, thankfully the walls were thick enough that no one would hear. “You don’t think I regret the things I did before I met you? Before your father got me into school and to help me get to where I am?” She felt herself shaking and had begun to breathe harder than she should be. “Listen to me, Anthony Stark, this the only time I’m going to say it: you stop treating Loki like crap because essentially he is the me I was and I don’t take to that. Whether you like it or not I’m inviting him to the wedding and you can't stop me,” she said with determination in her voice that made men quiver when they tried to undermine her.
“We’re getting married. I won’t be bullied or threatened into inviting a terrorist there. Do you have any idea who’s attending this shindig? Who would have me possibly arrested if I invited the biggest threat Earth has seen as a guest of honor? How would that look, Shannon? We work with security agencies. We work with SHIELD, the UN. We can’t have them there. That’s a no. And that’s final.” He started to turn to leave, before he whipped back around. “And don’t ever threaten me again. This can’t work if you’re going to tell me it’s your way or the highway. You may be more powerful than me physically, but last I checked, relationships don’t work that way,” he stated, anger in his voice and face.
“So I can’t act that way why because it’s a threat to you?! But The Great Tony Stark throws a fit because things don’t go how he likes and it’s totally okay?” she seethed. “Last time I checked I also get input into who's going to the wedding seeing as I’m the bride,” she said the last word harshly. “Don’t like my decision? Keep it to yourself, like I have about who you’ve invited to the wedding… fuck this, I’m not arguing anymore.” She got up off the bed. “I’m leaving.” She walked into the closet grabbed a few things and put them in a suitcase. “I”ll be out of your way, your highness,” she mocked him as she pushed her way past him.
“Jesus, did that alien prick fuck with your mind that much that you don’t care what makes me uncomfortable?” he asked, his voice slightly raised. “Clearly you can’t be left alone with him, just another reason I don’t want him at the wedding. I can’t believe you’re even thinking of inviting him, Shannon. Just because Y/N’s gone off the deep end and she decided to fuck crazy, doesn’t mean we have to, too.”
“My mind is already fucked up before I met him, before I met you!” She stopped to turn and look at him, her eyes usually a chocolate brown were a blazing red. “You think I don’t care about what makes you uncomfortable. What about me? I’ve spent most of this relationship making sure you were never uncomfortable because you always came first!” Her voice echoed, making the pictures hanging on the wall shatter. “At any moment Widow protocol could be reactivated in me and I would be a hundred times worse than what they did. Clearly we didn’t think this wedding through…” She knew this would hurt him but she didn’t care. All she wanted to do at this moment is leave. “It’s taking all the strength I have left in me not to hurt you, Tony but the more you talk it makes it worse. Did you ever stop to think that maybe you might be the reason I’m like this? That your constant hurtful words are causing this deadly mutation to get stronger?” she asked him, completely heartbroken because he couldn’t see how much it was killing her to be there now. She grabbed her bag and walked to the door. “Maybe Loki’s a terrorist, maybe he’s done unspeakable things… but he always puts Y/N, her happiness and health, above everything else… Can you say the same?”
Closing the door after herself, she walked as fast as her feet could take her. “Miss, Dr. Banner would like to have you go to the Med Bay,” the Al system announced.
“Let him know that he can find me at my parents house that he can check my vitals there, I have some equipment there and that he is to only let Y/N know of where I am. I don’t need Tony coming to the house to make things worse.” She wiped a tear from her cheek.
“Would you like me to have the car waiting for you?”
“Yes, please.”
“It should be ready in five minutes. I’ve also Let Dr. Banner know of your request,” the Al said. “ I do hope you come home soon.” If the system could express feelings you’d think you hear a hint of sadness in its voice.
“Thank you, JARVIS, update me on any changes around here and keep Tony from coming to the house?”
“As you wish, Miss Shannon. Have a good night.”
She arrived at the lobby where the car was waiting. “Hello, Happy,” she greeted him as she got to the car. “Would you please take me to my parents?” she asked him with a sad smile.
“Certainly. Do we need to stop anywhere along the way?” he asked, taking her bag from her.
“No, just straight to them. I’ll call to let them know I’m headed their way,” she said getting in the car.
Shannon called her parents, asking if she could stay a few days. Her mom was worried that there were problems between her and Tony, but Shannon gave her the white lie that Tony was involved in something and didn’t want to be bothered, and she needed a change of scenery.
As soon as she arrived, her parents welcomed her with open arms. She said she was tired and wanted to go lie down in her old room. They nodded in understanding and got her extra blankets, wishing her a good night.
-----------------
The next morning, Shannon got a text from you.
“Yo, why aren’t you in your office or lab? I brought you some tea.”
“I’m at our parents’ house. I’m taking the day off.”
“Oh no, do you feel okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just needed a break.”
“Oh, well let me know if you need anything. I’m going to work extra hard to finish up this project with Bruce before I leave.”
“Will do. Have a good day.”
With that, Shannon lied in bed all day, unsure what to do with herself. A little after lunchtime, she got another text from you.
“Hey, how would you feel about me introducing Loki to the parents?”
“Tonight?”
“Yeah, why not? Now is as good a time as any. Maybe he can use them as another resource while I’m away.”
“Yeah, okay, that’d be fine. Might be nice to have everyone together : )”
“I thought so too. I’ll ask Mom and Dad if it’s cool.”
With that, you called Tom and Diane and they said they’d be delighted to meet the new beau in your life. They said they’d make your favorite dinner and invite Shannon’s sister, and your somewhat adoptive sister Tracey, over.
As soon as you got home, you found Loki sitting and reading.
“Do you have a suit?” you asked as soon as you entered the apartment.
“I have the one Shannon got me for my first day with Strange… Why?”
You glanced at his black jeans and button down green shirt. “We’re meeting my parents tonight,” you informed with a wide grin as you made your way to your closet.
Loki was behind you in a flash.
“Your parents? Tonight? I… Did you think to ask me?”
“Would you have said yes?” you inquired, holding up two different dresses and comparing them.
“Probably not, which is why you should’ve asked me,” he stated, clearly upset.
You sighed and turned to him, putting your hands on his chest. “Love, they’re important to me. I’ve barely seen them since…” You trailed off, not wanting to bring it up again. “And I would love for you to meet them. I lived with your family for two months. Dinner with mine is too much to ask?”
“Well no, but… But I’m not prepared. What if they ask about our time in prison?”
“You lie and say you were busy,” you strictly ordered.
“And my family?”
“Be honest.”
“And our time on Sanctuary?”
“Pretend we were in Asgard.”
“This is a lot of lying, even for me.”
You made a face before backing away from him. “I promised them they would meet you as soon as you were free. With me going to Nebraska, I would really like it if your connections in this city weren’t limited to Shannon.”
“And if they despise me?” he suddenly asked, deadpanning the question.
A small smile came onto your face. “Impossible.”
“Really? So then they would be fine knowing you nearly killed yourself for me time and time again?”
“I think they would be more interested to know you endured great torture and brainwashing to spare me,” you countered.
He didn’t seem satisfied. His anxiety was still ebbing all around him.
“It will be fine,” you assured. “Just be yourself. If the truth comes out, it comes out. We can't hide our past or what we did forever.”
“Are you entirely sure you want to do this? Me being… who I am?” he asked uneasily.
“I’m extremely sure. They’re important to me, they’re important to Shannon, and you are my world. I’d love it if they knew I’d met the love of my life,” you responded as you wrapped your arms around his waist and looked up at him. “They’ve wanted me to meet a guy for a long time, to find my own happiness. Shannon has hers with Tony and they’ve wanted that for me. They’ll be thrilled to know I’ve found it. Not everyone looks for the flaws in other people,” you gently, but strictly, reminded as you let go to continue getting dressed.
“Then I will do this. I’ve wanted to meet them for some time, if I’m honest. I just wasn’t sure you wanted them to meet me,” he admitted sheepishly, toying with his hands.
“I’ve wanted them to meet you since we met on Asgard,” you confessed.
“Bit early, don’t you think?” he teased as he went to his own closet.
“Never too early to know you’ve found the one,” you shot back with an endearing, playful smile.
At that, the two of you got ready. He helped you into your dress and you helped him with his tie. It finally felt like things were coming together for you two.
____
Back at the house, Shannon had confirmed the time that you and Loki would arrive so that gave them a good amount of time to get everything prepped and ready to start making. Shannon and Diane had been in the kitchen working together to get dinner done. Seeing as Shannon was very quiet, her mom decided that she'd make some light conversation.
“So how’s work been? Seems like things have been busy since neither of you three have stopped by for dinner,” she said while slicing up the green peppers.
“Things have been pretty busy with each of us doing our own projects and with working with Shield more than ever, things have been stressful. I’m sorry none of us have come to visit you,” she told her mother as she stirred the contents in the pot. “I’ll make it up to you though, I have missed you guys so much though.”
“Have you made any new progress on details for the wedding? Finally picked out the dress yet?” She seemed to have a million questions about the wedding but Shannon was in no mood to talk about anything related to the wedding with the current situation that she and Tony were in.
“Umm… still haven’t picked out a dress yet. Y/N and I are going next week though….could you pass me the peppers? Looks like the pan is ready for them,” she replied hoping it would be enough to satisfy her mother. All the other questions were given short answers.
“Shannon, is everything alright? It seems like you don’t want to know or hear about anything for the wedding. Is there anyway that I can help?” Diane hated seeing how Shannon was currently acting but she knew better than to ask Tony. For all she knew Shannon could have come home without telling him. She would never betray her daughter’s trust in such a way. “So what’s Loki like?”
Hearing her mother drop the subject of the wedding things seem to make Shannon visibly relax. “Well he’s very reserved. Tends to spend his time reading or spending it with Y/N or working with Stephen. Who, by the way, says hello and hopes you stop by for some tea.”
“Thank you for letting me now, dear. It’s good to hear from him, let him know I’ll be by soon.”
They both went back to cooking and making sure the last few details were done.
Diane had made a mental note to ask you to talk to Shannon about what’s going on because she knew that there’s something she’s not being told but didn’t want to seem like she’s pushing for answers. She was also excited to see her three daughters in the house again making her feel loved twice as much as she always does.
Tracey arrived first, catching up with her family. She said she wasn’t currently seeing anyone, but that might change as she had her eye on a guy at the hospital. About fifteen minutes after she showed up, you and Loki arrived. You knocked on the door before turning to him and making sure his tie was straight.
Tracey answered the door, her face unreadable for a moment.
“Oh, you must be the famous Loki that I keep hearing about,” she said in a delighted tone as she shook his hand.
“Easy, Trace,” you admonished lightly as you closed the door behind you. It was cute how she wanted to see him, but you didn’t need your family scaring him off.
“It’s quite alright,” Loki assured
“Mom, Dad! He’s here!” Tracey announced loudly as she danced into the kitchen.
Her action made you blush as you looked up to Loki, holding his hand. “Sorry about that,” you apologized.
“Oh! They’re here!” Diane gushed as she emerged from the kitchen in a stylish new dress. “Dinner will be on the table in just a moment, feel free to make yourself at home,” she encouraged. “Y/N, it’s so good to see you,” she said warmly before running back in.
The next second, Tom emerged from the hall. “Hey! There she is! It’s been too long, kiddo.” He pulled you into a hug, almost too tight where you couldn’t breathe.
Once he finally let you go and the wind got back into your lungs, you agreed. “I know. I’m here now though. Tom, please meet my…” The word boyfriend didn’t sound right. He was much more than that. He was your everything. But you two weren’t engaged or married, but partner didn’t quite fit either. “Loki, this is Loki,” you said, starting again.
Loki shot you a quick look of confusion before extending his hand to your surrogate father. “Nice to meet you,” Loki offered.
“You as well. Shall we sit?” he asked, gesturing to the table.
The two of you made your way to the table with six seats. You and Loki on one side, and you assumed Shannon and Tracey would sit across from you, with Tom and Diane on either end of the table.
“So, Loki, I hear you’re a Prince in your land. That so?” Tom asked before taking a sip of water, while waiting on the food to make it to the table.
“Uh, yes. My brother was crown prince, next in line for the throne though.”
“Older?”
“Yes.”
“That can be rough. We heard about your mother’s passing, I wanted to offer my condolences.”
Loki nodded. “I appreciate that.”
Just then, the three women entered. Diane was carrying the roast, Shannon had the potatoes, and Tracey had the beans and salad.
“I hope everything tastes okay! I’m not sure what they eat on Asgard but…I hope it’ll do.” “Any food you make, Mrs. Moran will be perfectly fine. I’ve come to really enjoy Midgardian food,” Loki assured.
“Midgardian?” Diane questioned with a concerned look that she aimed at you and Shannon.
“He means Earth,” Shannon corrected and you smiled with gratitude at her.
“Oh!”
“So how are you adjusting to life here on the blue marble?” Tom wondered as he dug into the food.
Loki was taking the plate of roast, frowning as he answered. “Fine, just fine. I have a job with a sorcerer.”
“Is that your end goal?”
“Tom,” you began to chide, your face getting red. You knew he was trying to navigate if Loki had any long term plans for you two.
“What? Can’t a father know how his daughter’s boyfriend plans to support them?”
“I, uh, haven’t really thought it out. On Asgard I probably would’ve been my brother’s political advisor. Down here, I’m not too sure.” He seemed uncomfortable with the question so you gave his knee a slight squeeze under the table.
“Do you miss your home?” Diane suddenly asked.
“A little…but… uh, this is lovely as well. As long as I’m with Y/N, I’m home.” He looked down at you with love and adoration and you beamed up at him.
“Gross, get a room,” Tracey said before Shannon shot her a glare. “Oh, I meant to tell you all, I got promoted to head nurse down at the hospital!”
“That’s great, honey!” Tom congratulated as he reached over and shook her shoulder. “We’re so proud of you.”
Diane turned to you. “Y/N, have you made any headway in your research?”
“Actually,I’ll be going to Nebraska, for a bit. Jane’s got a job opening and requested me.”
Your parents gasped. “But, you just got back.”
“I know, I know, but it’s a great opportunity.”
“She’ll be doing field work, the kind she loves,” Shan added, encouraging you.
“Well, then, I guess… we support you.”
“Thank you. I feel like I should also tell you, uh, I found my birth parents.”
Tom and Diane exchanged a look.
“You did?” Tom asked, his tone unclear.
You nodded, feeling a knot form in your stomach. How would they take this? Would they even believe you?
“Uh, yeah, they… apparently lived on Asgard.”
“How’s that possible?” Tracey wondered.
“We aren’t exactly sure of all the details,” Loki suddenly interjected. “As it turns out, my mother was friends with Y/N’s parents. They went away to battle and left her in my mother’s care. They said if they didn't return, to send her someplace far away so the enemy would never come looking for her. At first, she raised her with us, but then, she sent her down to Earth, to keep her protected. My mother wiped all of our memories, so none of us remembered her. But as soon as we learned the truth, she returned our memories, and I did remember playing with Y/N a bit as a child.”
“And that’s how you ended up in that orphanage,” Diane mused. “So, so this means you two are both from Asgard?”
You meekly nodded, worried they would no longer see you as the daughter they took in.
“So what all does that mean? Are you immortal or…?” she wondered, clearly curious.
“I think so. I’ve found that I heal at great rates since I’ve visited there. I can also perform magic now. Frigga basically took everything that made me Asgardian and turned me mortal, much like when Thor was banished. When I returned though, all of it came back like a lifesource.”
“But what about now, you’ve been back on Earth for some time, right?”
“It wasn’t all about the geolocation,” you explained. “Frigga lifted her magic on me and that helps me retain my true identity.”
“It must’ve been hard, trying to figure out where you belonged,” Diane noted, her dinner all but forgotten.
“A little. My memories, my social experience, my life, have all been Earth. But I couldn’t deny how right at home I felt in Asgard. I somehow knew parts of the palace I’d never seen. I feel blessed to have both, honestly. Two homes instead of feeling like I didn’t belong anywhere.”
“That’s fantastic.”
“What powers did you have?” Tom wondered. “Are they like Shan’s?”
“No,” you assured. “No, I, uh, I have the power to cast magic. I have the ability to charge objects and throw them.”
"That is so interesting," Diane commented.
Before you knew it everyone was throwing question after question to you and Loki. All too soon, dinner had ended and you two were saying goodbye to your family.
"So what did you think?" you asked as you two walked toward the car.
"I thought they were lovely," he commented, his tone wrapped in something you couldn't detect.
"What is it?" you inquired, your brows knitted together as you opened the driver door.
The two of you climbed in and Loki was quiet for a moment, pensive. You desperately wanted to know what was in his mind, but you refrained from pushing him. You began to drive, hoping he would confide and suddenly, without much warning, he did.
"It just makes me think of Frigga and Odin, and how I wish I’d been close with them. Like you are with Tom and Diane,” he noted, his voice somber.
“You were close with Frigga,” you tried, a frown on your face. The way it came out, it sounded like a question, as if you weren’t sure if he was close with her.
“I was, she treated me like her own, I suppose. But to have them care that deeply for you, your career...us… I don’t think I would’ve ever received that from either of them.”
You pressed your lips together, sad to hear this is how he felt, and even sadder to know it was probably the truth. While you were there, they never asked Loki about dating, his studies, his work…
The rest of the ride was quiet before you two got home, to get in bed and face another day of freedom.

Words: 2 258
So you’d saved the universe, almost died, gotten resurrected and were now living your life with a mechanic arm like some sort of Winter Soldier 2.0 and also found yourself with four children instead of the one you’d had before? Yeah, Tony had had a busy year.
He’d woken up at the hospital a week after the snap. The second snap, that is. Or was it the third? The one that had fixed it all, anyway.
(He still couldn’t believe it had worked.)
No one was leaving him out of their sight and apparently hadn’t since he’d ended up there. He wasn’t complaining, though. He had a hard time believing they were real and that this wasn’t an elaborate prank Thanos was pulling off. Despite being dead. They were telling him he was dead. That Tony’s snap had killed him, or whatever being turned to dust meant.
“Can you stand?”
Tony wanted to roll his eyes so badly, but truth be told he wasn’t entirely sure he could. He looked at Rhodey for a moment, unblinking, jaw working. Rhodey got the hint and took a step closer, letting Tony hold onto him as he slowly moved off the hospital bed, the two of them pulling him upright. His body would most likely never be the same again. He could probably use his prosthetic arm just as well as he’d used his flesh one - once he’d figured out all the quirks because it wasn’t as easy as it looked - but the rest?
He groaned, every muscle straining, screaming, as he and Rhodey put more and more weight onto his legs. They’d been doing this for the past week, slowly testing his body and preparing it for the eventual separation from the bed. Tony was weak, but he was getting restless. Needed to get out of here as soon as possible.
“Don’t overwork yourself, Tones,” Rhodey said, a gentle reprimand. They all knew Tony would break his own legs in an attempt to seem strong enough to leave.
He deflated, suddenly falling back onto the mattress. “Shit.”
“Don’t.”
“I-”
“You shouldn’t even be alive and you’re mad your body hasn’t recovered in a month?”
“God, I hate it when you’re right.”
Rhodey let out a laugh. He’d been doing that more often recently.
The door pushed open slowly, a face peeking in. “Mr Stark?”
They all ignored the heart monitor acting up. It always did that when Peter walked into the room; his mere presence always a surprise. His existence still not something Tony was used to. Could barely believe.
Tony sent him a tired smile. “School let you out early?”
“It’s Saturday,” he said and opened the door fully to pull a dimpled Morgan in with him.
It still got to him, seeing his kids together, after thinking he’d never be able to introduce them. It still made him tear up so violently he sometimes actually shed tears. No one - but Morgan - ever commented on that either.
“Hi, kiddo,” he said as she bounced over, careful not to touch him like she’d been instructed. God, Tony couldn’t wait to hug her so tightly they became one. “Did you have fun with Peter?”
She nodded. “Uh huh.”
“What did you do?”
“Got ice cream.”
“Ice cream, huh.” He ran his palm over her cheek. “He’s a nice babysitter.”
He also had nightmares, but Tony only found that out several months later.
Peter had stayed over so many times after Tony was able to go back home that they installed a whole new room for him.
“That way you won’t have to fight everyone over the couch,” Tony had said and used all his strength to punch him lightly on the shoulder.
Peter had been beaming for days.
On most nights, Tony slept well, if only because he was constantly exhausted. But on the occasional restless neverending turning and tossing fest, he would wander the house just to remind himself of the people who occupied it. Remind himself that they were all there, safe, asleep.
It was a night like such that he first heard Peter crying.
He paused, ears straining, practically pushing himself against Peter’s door in order to hear him better. It wasn’t necessary. It was the type of sobbing that you couldn’t really muffle.
He entered, panicked. “Pete.”
Peter untangled from the heap beneath the covers. “Tony.”
“Kid, what’s wrong?”
Peter wore his emotions on his sleeve. Tony had always admired that about him, but he’d never seen him break down like this before. Not even his panicked rambling before the snap was on this level of hysteria.
Tony held him as he cried that night. Reassured him that everything was fine and he was here and Tony was here and everyone was all right. In the end he almost believed it himself.
“I’m sorry,” Peter said once he was calm, his breathing regular.
“Don’t,” Tony said, running his thumb over Peter’s cheek to wipe the tears away. “Don’t apologize for feeling.”
“I don’t really feel as if I have the right to feel like this.”
“Stop that.”
“You’re here, right? You made it. We’re all back. I don’t know why I’m so-”
“Peter.”
Peter leaned forward, pressing his face into Tony’s chest. “I’m sorry.”
Tony wrapped his arms around him. “Please stop.” Stop repeating the last sentence you’d said before vanishing. “You have nothing to be sorry for.”
Morgan found them like that, eyes blinking in a way that told him the noise had woken her up. “Daddy?”
Peter tried to push away from Tony’s embrace, something he often did whenever Morgan was around. Assuring her he wasn’t stealing her father.
Tony almost rolled his eyes. “Come here, bean,” he said, opening one of his arms to let her crawl into the hug. “There’s plenty of space.”
He noticed Morgan seemed much more attached to him now after his hospital stay. Every morning she would wrap her hand around the fingers of his uninjured hand, hold them for a moment, before allowing him to continue making breakfast. As if she, too, needed to remind herself that he was real. That little mind and heart of hers. They were bigger than all of them.
“I can’t regret anything that’s happened,” he told Pepper one evening, the two of them curled up on the couch, alone for once thanks to Happy taking Morgan to the movies. “Not when it brought her to us.”
Pepper hummed, her fingers in his hair in that soothing manner of hers. “I know what you mean.” A pause, and, “I’m happy you can finally have some peace of mind, now that they’re all back.”
He squeezed her. “On a scale of one to ten, how angry are you at me for doing the snap?”
Her lips twitched. “I would’ve been angrier had you not survived.”
“Well, I’m glad I’m around to face it then.”
She laughed. He laughed. The topic slowly getting easier to talk about, as did everything.
Pepper kissed his prosthetic knuckles and said, “So when are we inviting Nebula over for dinner again?”
Nebula. Tony had been worried that they would only remind each other of the time stuck in space, starving and hopeless, but they didn’t. In fact, he felt even more protective of her once they were on Earth. She’d been one of the few people who semi regularly visited him after Morgan was born. She respected his choice to lead a quiet life and never asked anything of him. Rhodey had once called her his second daughter, which was ridiculous but… well, he couldn’t deny it. She was in such obvious need of a good parental figure, after everything.
“You don’t have to adopt everyone, you know,” Pepper had once said, but there was no malice in her voice. Only fond amusement.
“I know,” he’d replied, bouncing one year old Morgan in his lap. “But I know all too well what it means to not have that kind of support in your life.”
That had been the last time Pepper had brought it up.
Nebula told him she wasn’t on Earth when he called, but that she’d come over as soon as she was back. Tony asked her to be careful, and she rolled her eyes.
“You’re such a dad,” Peter told him, having been sitting quietly on the couch doing homework during Tony’s call.
Tony snorted, giving him a poke to the ribs. “I’ve never heard you complain.”
Peter grinned. “Oh, I’m sure I’ve complained. Remember the baby monitor?”
“I don’t regret that one a bit.”
“Of course not, pops.”
When Tony had nightmares, he dreamt of Peter and Morgan and Pepper being torn to pieces. Not dust. Pieces. The time Harley appeared in one of those dreams, was the first time he called him in five years. He’d tried to, after the first snap, but he’d been one of the victims. His world felt so small after everything, and he had a hard time imagining people having lives outside of his bubble. People being back when he couldn’t see them.
Harley told him he’d heard Tony had saved everyone, after he’d returned. He was about Peter’s age now, both of them teens even though they should’ve been in their 20s by now.
“You wanna come over?” Tony asked. “Or can I come see you?”
“I’ll come over. Old men like you shouldn’t travel.”
“Brat.”
Harley was laughing on the other end, and Tony felt his heart soar. He’d missed their phone calls.
No one questioned Tony flying a kid they’d never met over. They’d heard of him, of course, but Tony had a feeling he could bring just about anyone to the lakehouse and no one would say a word. Saving the world - and almost dying - had its perks.
“Peter offered you to have his room for the weekend,” Tony said.
Harley, taller than Tony now that bastard, put his bag down. “Is Peter your son?”
“Something like that. But don’t you worry.” Tony nudged him in the ribs. “You were my first born pain in the ass.”
Morgan adored him, just like she’d adored Peter and Nebula. They all had an obvious soft spot for her too, but Harley fell in love. For two whole days, he wouldn’t stop carrying her. Tony jokingly asked if he was gonna try to sneak her into his bag before leaving.
“Don’t tempt me,” Harley had said, giving Morgan a squeeze.
His weekend turned into a week, which just so happened to be the same week Nebula was coming over. Suddenly their lakehouse felt a bit smaller, but his heart so much fuller.
“I can sleep with Harley and Nebula can have Peter’s room and Peter can sleep with you,” Morgan was saying, and Tony had to laugh at Peter’s scandalized face as he said, “The couch works just fine, really.”
They compromised. Morgan slept with him and Pepper, Nebula got Morgan’s room and Harley stayed in Peter’s while Peter took the couch, stating that he could just go home but chose to stay, therefore he wasn’t forced to sleep on the couch.
Despite all the love in the house, Tony had a nightmare that night. He woke up trembling, heart beating so wildly that he was scared he was dying. He wasn’t dying. Not anymore. He was merely reliving it; dying.
He rolled over to find Pepper and Morgan asleep, breathing calmly. Unaware of his breaking heart. He watched them for a moment, willing the sight to fix it, before he left the bed, left the room, and let his feet steer him to the kitchen. Grabbing a glass of water, he walked to the living room and watched Peter sleep, mumbling something, but it didn’t seem to be because of a nightmare. Tony hadn’t caught him crying again, but he knew it didn’t mean he never did. He himself was a living example of people not always noticing when you were cracking.
He took a sip of his water and moved on, toward the room were Harley was sleeping. He stopped before the door, listening. Opening it just a crack to find him curled up, back toward him, but breathing deeply enough that Tony knew he was asleep. He had no idea how Harley actually felt. If the snap had been traumatic. If he felt like he’d missed out on things. They hadn’t talked about it. Maybe they had to.
Another sip. He closed the door.
It took him longer to enter Nebula’s room. He felt that, out of everyone, she was the most likely one to be lying awake, thinking and overthinking. Maybe that was why he should enter. Give her some sense of peace in not being alone in that.
He cracked the door open, sticking his head in. She’d never looked so calm as she currently did. Her ever present frown all smoothed out, her mouth half open. Tony left immediately. Couldn’t bare the thought of accidentally waking her.
He took another sip and by the time he re-entered the kitchen his water was gone. He felt better. His heart felt more whole.
He was aware it would always be like this, but for once his reality was enough to make it worth it. He had his wife, best friends, and four kids. He’d saved the world for them and was grateful for it every single day. Life after the second or third snap was more than he could’ve asked for, really.
He went back to bed, Morgan claiming his prosthetic arm immediately.

Tony's Big Brother [ Male Reader x Avengers] A Wish.
A/N: This idea came to me last night and I had to write it out. This story is my first time writing one of avengers and my grammar sucks cause english isnt my first language so if people would like me to continue it please let me know :)
____________________________________
CHAPTER ONE:
I was always my father's favorite son until his last breath, after all, I was the oldest. But did I enjoy that feeling of growing up? The answer is no, I did not enjoy being my father's favorite son because it hurt my younger brother Tony.
The fact he always compared us to one another and saying how Tony should be more like me, made my blood boil every time he would do that in front of everybody. Growing up, the distance grew between us making it difficult to communicate with one another.
Whenever I wanted to spend time with him, he would move or avoid me. He didn't want to play or do anything with me. Mom tried talking with him saying how "we are siblings and need to get along." But that phrase went in one ear and out the other, Tony simply did not care what so ever.
At six years old I made a promise to myself that I would protect Tony from the moment he was born.
I was born in New York City 1964. I was told by my mother that father was happy and excited about being a father. My name was chosen by him as [Male Name] Howard Stark. So you can say that's another reason why Tony could never like me. I had grown up as an only child, it was a lot of fun because I truly enjoyed all of his inventions and how he got to meet Captain America. Also watching war documentaries, something that Tony didn't like much.
We also had a butler named Jarvis, he always spent a lot of time with my brother. He was a lot closer to him than our father but he was more of a father figure to him than our own dad. When I was at the age of 15 my father would take the both of us to Stark Industries to know about the family business. But I just couldn't really find interest in the industry, my thing was learning how to build cars. Which also caused me a few problems with him.
When I hit my last year of high school I had made it into a top university where they would teach you to learn everything about Automotive Tech and Car. Yet, the second I got the scholarship, my father talked with the school informing them that I was going to stick to the "family business" and that I didn't need to learn any other thing besides the Stark Industries.
My mother was a very caring and loving woman if it wasn't for her I had no idea how we three would have survived. She was the opposite of my father and I only wish she would have lived a bit longer. It was my fault that both my mother and father died in that car accident.
We had gotten into a bit of an argument that night on December 16, 1991. It was my fault if only I hadn't had been so weak then maybe they would have still been alive. That night we were in the car, I had joined boot camp to enlist into the military but they both didn't want me going so they picked me up and were taking me home. But when we were on our way there, a motorcycle had been following us for the last five minutes until it cornered us, causing my father to crash the car in the middle of the road. A guy wearing black clothing and long raven hair who had a long silver metal like arm opened my father's door throwing him on to the ground and beating him to death...he then banged the back of his head against the car killing him in an instant. "Howard" my mother yelled in a low voice with pain. "You bastard!" I yelled in anger. My mother was seriously injured and couldn't move. I had to get her out of the car but I wasn’t able to move my body felt like it was paralyzed by the pain I felt. "Don't worry m-mom I will get you out of here." I looked down at my left thigh to see I had a few pieces of glass stuck into my skin that was creating a small puddle of blood. I clenched my fist in anger and made an attempt at moving my body but I had to little no avail.
I looked at the long raven man, he then began to move towards my mother's side and slowly grabbed her by the neck suffocating her. I closed my eyes trying not to picture her pain but it became impossible. Hearing her painful screams made me feel weak, she gasping for air until there were no more sounds. She was dead.
I bit my tongue trying to open the door, after much push and trying to swallow the screams of pain that wanted to erupt, I had opened it grabbing his attention. The man’s eyes then looked in mine, even with the small lamp post that was illuminating the street, it wasn’t enough to reach his eyes. It made my body freeze from just his stare alone- I dragged myself on to the ground, landing on my face. The pieces of glass were going in deeper making the small pool of blood to become bigger.
I tried getting up to fight him but he was too strong. He had managed to grab me from my back and throw me against the car. My bones then made a cracking sound with every hit I received. By the time he was gone, I had fallen unconscious. My body was covered in blood and cuts along with dirt. But to this day watching my parents being murdered in front of me is something I will never forget. All I could think about that night was Tony and the fear of dying.
But when I had opened my eyes it wasn't 1991 anymore. Somehow the world around me looked differently. Nothing looked like how I knew it used to be instead everything looked advanced. When I woke up I was in what seemed to be a room, with walls painted light green along with picture frames of a young woman with brown hair and blue eyes wearing a summer dress. Behind her was a tall male who seemed to be around my age and had all my features his hands where wrapped around her. My eyes widen when I noticed that guy was me and she was pregnant. The rest of the picture frames were of the two of us.
There was a picture of us on our wedding day. In the middle of the wall were about nine brown pictures that seemed to be a baby? There ultrasound pictures and if they are nine that could only mean that....
Crying sounds could be heard coming from inside the next room. I gulped when I heard the sounds of footsteps coming to this room. I looked down at myself to realize I wasn't wearing the same clothes anymore but that also sorta freaked me out. But I failed to notice the wedding ring on my left hand. Anyway, the doorknob twisted and opened revealing the girl from the picture holding a pink blanket and the crying noises were coming from that.
"I'm sorry did she wake you up. Maria hasn't stopped crying all morning since you last put her to sleep I, think she wants her daddy." She said walking around the bed and over to me, then handed me the baby girl. She opened her eyes and those brown eyes stared back at me, she stopped whimpering. 'She has my mother's name.' I thought inside my head.
The baby well Maria had some of her features but definitely had my mother's eyes. I rocked her with my arms back and forth carefully. "She's definitely daddy's girl. Told you she missed you its such a shame you have to go back to work at the office Mr. President of [Last Name] Cars."
I looked at her confused. 'Who's [Last Name] is that?"
I continued to stare down at her as she slowly closed her eyes falling into a deep sleep. The woman came closer to me and took the baby in her arms but not before planting a kiss on my cheek. She got up from the bed and exited the room leaving me alone in my own thoughts. "What the hell is going on here? Who is she and where am I? I need to get out of here." I stood up from the bed quickly exiting the room without making a sound. I went down the stairs only to bump right into her.
"I’m sorry I didn’t see you." I apologized grabbing her gently from her wrist. She suddenly hugged my side and wrapped her arms around my waist burying her face into my chest. I didn't hug her back and thats when I noticed the ring on my left hand. I just stood there awkwardly, "Thank you for changing [Male Reader] it means a lot now that we have our daughter. I just hope your parents love her as much as we do. Speaking of them, they called saying they might come to visit for Christmas next week."
I moved away to the side turning around taking a deep breath. I felt like my head was going to explode. None of this is making any sense at all. First I'm on the ground dying next to my parents and suddenly I wake up to a home in a different year with a wife and daughter and now my parents are alive. And who the heck is [Last Name] Car thing. I shook my head pinching myself hoping to wake up.
"None of this is making sense." I murmured.
"Are you alright [Male Name] why are you pinching yourself." She asked walking near me placing her hand on my shoulder. "Are you remembering the accident. The doctor did say some things wouldn't make any sense and that you might be confused."
An accident? The only way of knowing what's going on is if she explains it to me. I clear my throat. "Yea, can.... can you explain to me." I asked looking into her eyes.
"It was about a month ago when you got into a car accident when you were operating a new invention for a car. The brakes weren't functioning well so you crashed against another car. The doctor said it might had caused an impact in your head and memory." I shook my head. That can't be possible I suddenly looked around the living room looking for a date.
"What day is it today? What year are we in?" I asked as she ran a hand over my cheek looking at me with concerned eyes.
"It's December 17, 2015 hun don't you remember it's almost going to be christmas." She said planting a kiss on my lips, spinning around and taking my hand in hers guiding me to the other side of the living room to see a big Christmas tree in the corner with lights and gifts under the tree. 'It's almost Christmas?' She guided me to another side of the room to see more pictures with tons of people.
The people in the picture frames looked nothing like me. A man who seems to be in his late fourthies was standing next to a lady who appeared to be his wife because they where kissing each other. Next to them was me and a girl who looked older than me probably in her thirties. She had two kids and a guy standing with her. "Are these my parents?" I asked her. Nodding her head.
"Yes there your parents and sister along with your brother in law and two kids. Alice is your mother, Stuart is your father, Jane is your sister, Alex is your brother in law and the two kids are Anthony and Alexandra. And in case you forgot your wife's name which is me my name's Jennifer." She smiled at me.
"Right... I remember now thank you for telling me their names and yours. I guess I still have some recovering to do." I smiled at her acting normal but in the inside I was still freaking out.
"Thats what am here for to help you recover. Now that you know all the information do you think we can get ready to go out and shop for my parent's gifts?"
I smiled gently at her nodding and wrapped my arms around her placing my head on top of hers. 'Tony where are you.' was the only thought that came crossed my mind.

Overdue Meeting
Peter ParkerxReader
Word Count: 1,897
Request by @sakourim: Hi i just discovered ur blog and I love it already dad tony is what I live for Can u make a fic where the avengers find out peter is dating reader so they want to meet him to give them you hurt him we hurt u but when they know the reader personality they are like Peter u hurt them we hurt u (like they would ever)
A/N: My usual apologies for being so late on this! Working 42+ hours a week is hard and tiring. This isn’t even including the hours of paperwork I have to do everyday AND commuting on top of that.
“Wait, you have a girlfriend?” Sam asked Peter. The Avengers team was gathered for one of Tony’s events. Sam and Bucky were on Peter’s case. Here was this cute girl, flirting away with him, and he awkwardly turned her down.
Of course the guys were immediately asking what was wrong with him. Why he’d turn down such a pretty and interested girl.
“I don’t believe you,” Bucky stated. “How come we’ve never heard of her?”
Peter shrugged and rubbed the back of his neck. “Because I knew you guys would act like this about it… Tony knows, but I didn’t think it’d really matter to anyone, so why talk about it.”
“Because,” Sam started to respond. “We need to know all about her. Have to make sure she’s good enough for our youngest team member. Make sure she knows if she hurts you she’ll have to deal with us.”
Peter rolled his eyes. “We’ve been together since sophomore year of high school. I think if she was going to hurt me she would have done it by now.”
“You’ve been seeing someone for 5 years?” Clint asked from behind him, sounding very surprised.
Peter sighed. “Why don’t you guys just have a team meeting about this since it’s so important.”
“We just may.” Nat said from her spot beside Clint.
Peter shook his head, disbelieving they really would.
And boy was he wrong.
The following morning there was a team meeting.
Even Tony couldn’t believe his team members. They were hounding him for answers. Who was she, what is she like, how old is she, is she cute… he wanted to just up and leave. However he couldn’t. He told them all that if Peter wanted anyone to meet you he would do it on his own terms in his own time.
That didn’t last very long though, they were all saying something about meeting you every time they saw him.
Peter wanted to pull his hair out. They were all driving him bonkers.
“Tony,” Peter called as he entered the lab, he’d just made it away from the prying Maria Hill. He set his bookbag down on a table and found him working on a project.
“Yeah, Pete?” Tony asked, still focused on his work.
“I need to do something about everyone nagging me about Y/N. I can’t take it.”
Tony glanced at him, “you could always bring her to meet them…”
“There aren’t any other options? I don’t want her to meet them…”
“Why is that?”
Peter thought for a moment. “I just… I don’t want them teasing either of us. Most especially I don’t want them threatening her.”
Tony chuckled. “So you’d rather prolong it?”
He thought it over, “No I guess you’re right… I just… I don’t know how… I’d prefer to not bombard her with everyone at once but I also wanna just get it over with…” He huffed and ran his hand over his face.
“I’ll get a dinner together, that way it’s a bit easier on you and you don’t have to worry about her being alone with anyone specific.”
Peter let out a small sigh of relief. “That’d be awesome Tony, thanks.”
“You what?!” You shouted at Peter. He’d just told you Tony was having a dinner so everyone could meet you. “No! I told you I can’t handle that. No, they’re all gonna hate me and wonder why you’re even with me. And-“
His hand on your face cut you off before his lips fell on yours. “You’re the most perfect person. They’re gonna love you, almost as much as I do.”
You sighed and searched for the lie in his eyes, but there was none. Just the beautiful light and dark browns you’d loved since day one. Nothing but the truth came from him. Well at least he thought that. It was another story of if they really would.
“I love you, they will too, and even if they didnt I don’t care. You and me, don't forget that.” He placed another kiss on your forehead. “I’ll be with you the whole time, plus they’re all great. I promise. It would mean a lot to me if we could finally do this.”
You whined a little from the worry in your gut. “You’re lucky I love you…”
He smiled so wide before kissing all over your face.
When the night came you thought you were going to hurl. You couldn’t even remember getting there. But suddenly you could feel Peters hand on your back and you were in an elevator.
“Y/N, baby take it easy, it’s gonna be fine.”
“I-I can’t, Peter, I-“ the elevator dinging cut you off. Your stomach flipped in sheer panic.
The doors started to open and Peter was quick to press the close button to stop them. He pulled you close, trying to ebb your coming panic attack. “You have nothing to worry about, love. They are fantastic people. They’re family, don’t think of them as anything else. They’re gonna act all protective of me probably, but they are going to love you and you have nothing to worry about. I want you to meet them, but I don’t want to pressure you into this. S’why you haven’t met them yet… but if you can’t handle it-“
You inhaled him deeply, his protective arms almost calming you completely. You cut off his sentence, knowing how important this was to him, and you couldn’t just avoid it forever. So you cut him off so you wouldn’t be tempted to take his out. “I’m fine, I can do it…”
“You sure?” He asked, pulling back ever so slightly.
You nodded and pressed the door open button.
He guided you out and into the living room where everyone was.
They were all chatting about this and that, but the second they all laid eyes on you and Peter they stopped their conversations.
“Hey guys, this is Y/N,” Peter introduced.
You offered a small wave and shy smile, not really able to look anyone in the eye.
They all greeted you, happy looks on their faces.
Peter guided you to sit down on one of the couches, it seemed like they left the double seater for you and Peter. He figured it was Tony’s doing so no one got in your face or made you uncomfortable. He slid his arm around your shoulders.
“It’s nice to see you, Y/N,” Tony greeted. You’d met him once, it was a quick interaction a few years ago, you barely said anything to the man, but you knew how important he was to Peter, and how important Peter was to him.
“You too, Mr. Stark,” you said, your tone shy.
“How come Tony got to meet her and we didn’t until now?” Sam asked, eyes skeptical and arms crossing over his chest.
Peter shrugged. “Because that was less than a minute thing and it was in passing.”
“We should know everything about Y/N here,” Thor stated. “How do we know she can be trusted with your heart, Peter?”
Peter knew he was screwing around, but you did not.
It kind of hurt, it hurt more when Bucky followed up in agreement.
Peter went to retort but Steve cut him off. “Guys come on, they’ve been together longer than we’ve had the team back together. I don’t think she would do anything to Peter.”
That made you feel a little better but then Sam spoke.
“Doesn’t mean it couldn’t happen.”
“Oh my God, guys,” Nat stated. “How about we all just get to know the poor girl before judging her on things we know nothing about?”
Bucky and Sam exchanged a glance. Clint nodded in agreement with Nat. Thor huffed in annoyance.
“So,” Rhodey chimed in, trying to kill the awkward silence. “What do you do, Y/N? Do you still go to school or do you work?”
You were grateful for the distraction. You could talk about something like that easily. “I study forensic science at CUNY.”
That began the questions of why you chose that, why you’d want to be around dead bodies, and the like.
The whole thing was a lot of pressure. Soon enough they were moving on to even more personal questions. Like what your parents do for a living, what your relationship with May was like. How many relationships you’ve been in. How often did you and Peter get into fights. What you would do if someone kidnapped you because they wanted to get to Peter.
At that point Peter had had enough. “Guys come on! This excessive, can’t you ask her normal questions? It’s not like we need your approval. Can’t we just have normal conversation?”
“No,” practically all of them answered in unison.
You placed your hand on Peter’s thigh and offered him a reassuring look. You really were okay, it might be stressful having to answer all their questions but you were adjusting to being around them. You didn’t want your boyfriend stressing himself out because they were questioning you, even if some of the questions were extreme. You’d answer a million more for this to go well for Peter.
He sighed while placing his hand over yours. He knew exactly what you were thinking. He felt he definitely owes you for this, most especially your patience.
“Listen,” you started to all of them. “If Peter means half as much to you all as he does to me I know exactly why you’re so adamant about questioning me. But if it makes any difference, I love Peter, I would never intentionally do something to hurt him. I don’t know what I’d do without him. So, please if you still feel like I’m not good enough for him keep asking your questions, because so long as he thinks I’m good enough, nothing else matters to me.”
The team was quiet for a few minutes. They exchanged glances, a few whispered to each other. It was tense, you regretted saying anything as you shrunk in your seat.
“You hurt her, Pete,” Bucky was the one to break the silence. “You’re gonna it.”
“I can’t believe you got yourself a girl willing to speak up to us and it took you this long to get her to meet us. You were doing something wrong, kid.” Sam added.
You were shocked. So was Peter.
“Welcome to the family,” Thor added next.
Peter smacked his forehead, of course this would be the outcome. Not that he really minded all that much.
“Don’t take anything the guys say too hard,” Nat leaned over and assured you. “You fit in great already and they’d never really hurt Peter. Leave me your number before you go, I’ll make sure you’re invited to the next girls night.”
You were beyond confused, everything switched gears so quickly. You nodded shortly to Nat before looking at an exasperated Peter who was not getting a safe sex talk from Steve of all people, Sam and Bucky laughing to each other.
Tony offered you a wink from the end of the table as he caught your eye.
As confused as you were you realized you were no longer nervous like you were when you got there. You chuckled to yourself, kind of regretting waiting so long to meet these people that were so quick to add you into their family.

Necessary Paradox (8)
***sorry for the huge delay 😑
He should have realized that there was no way his overnight stay with Y/N would go unnoticed, but that didn't stop him from attempting to play it off. It was difficult enough leaving the warm embrace of his Omega's arms, but she had some design work she needed to get done and he was scheduled to train with Natasha. There was no lying to her. Unfortunately there was no lying to anyone else, either. Bucky always heard him when he came home and had already mentioned to Tony and Sam that Steve hadn't come back after his date when he wandered into the kitchen for coffee and breakfast. So when Steve walked in tying to act like he had gone out for an early morning run and decided to bring back doughnuts, it was seen for exactly what it was: an attempted distraction. Tony and Sam greeted him with shit eating grins.
“Captain America doing a walk of shame? Say it ain't so!” Tony crowed.
“Huh? I was out for a run.” He opened the bakery box. “Stopped to get doughnuts on the way back.” He said innocently.
“You can cut the act, man. Tin Solider already told us you didn't come home last night.” Steve groaned and shot Bucky a dirty look.
“Sorry, but they asked what you were up to this morning and I didn't think it was a big deal!” He held up his hands in defense.
“So your mystery Omega sweetie made an honest Alpha of you?” Tony waggled his eyebrows suggestively. “Does this mean we finally get to meet her?”
“First of all, it's not really any of your business.” Steve growled.
“Ha! So not mated then.”
“Stark.” Bucky warned.
“I wasn't insulting his manhood. I mean, practice makes perfect, eh?” Steve pinched the bridge of his nose and took a deep breath.
“The situation is delicate and more than a little complicated.” Sam nudged Tony in the ribs and the billionaire took a good look at Steve's face.
“Okay,” he said quietly. “But you can't blame us for being curious. You've been seeing this woman for weeks and it's obvious that you're serious about her. Why don't you invite her over for...a family dinner!” Steve shot Bucky a glance, his face unsure.
“Why not, Steve. Y/N is awesome, everyone should meet her.”
“Yeah it's not fair that Bucky's the only one that knows who she is.”
“He did meet her because of me.” Bucky reminded them with a mildly smug tone. Tony rolled his eyes.
“Come on, Cap. Call the pretty lady and invite her over to meet the parents.” Steve groaned but gave a short nod.
“I'll call her. But you all have to promise to behave. No discussion about our bedroom habits.” Tony held up his hands and grinned.
“You have my word, no sexy talk.” Steve groaned again but he pulled his phone out of his pocket.
…
He was nervous, pacing as he waited for Y/N. She had sounded surprised and happy to be invited over to meet everyone, but he was still on edge. What if she didn't like them? What if they didn't like her? It could be a disaster.
“I can hear you over thinking from here!” He heard her call out. He looked up and saw her climbing out of a taxi. He rushed over to help her.
“I'm so glad you're here, waiting was killing me.” He admitted with a bashful smile and pulled her in for a hug.
“You need to relax, Alpha.” She murmured and nuzzled against his chest. Her scent settled around him and calmed his nerves. “It's just dinner, right?” She smiled up at him. He took a deep breath and nodded.
“Just dinner.”
Bucky greeted her first, and Steve was thankful for it. She didn't seem worried or anxious about the meeting but it never hurt to have the first face be a familiar one.
“You're sure you still want to commit yourself to this punk, Y/N?” He staged whispered. She giggled and gave him a playful shove.
“They should call you 'The Incorrigible Mr. Barnes'.” Tony sidled up to them and held out his hand, looking delighted when Y/N was clearly a little star struck.
“I have to admit part of me thought Cap was making you up.” He brushed his lips over her knuckles. Natasha brushed him aside before Steve could react to Tony's blatant flirting.
“I'm sure you know who everyone is, but let's do some introductions anyway.” She linked her arm with Y/N's. “I'm Natasha, and we're all thrilled to meet you.”
“Hi! I'm Peter!” The teenager pranced over like a puppy. “Wow you're really pretty. And someone said you're a tattoo artist? How old do you have to be to get-” Tony gripped the boy's arm and marched him away.
“Absolutely not.” Y/N laughed, the ice was successfully broken.
Dinner couldn't have gone better in Steve's opinion. He could tell she was a little shy at first around so many new people and big personalities, but she was naturally friendly and charmed the entire team very quickly. Peter looked like he was half in love with her by the end of the meal, fascinated by the art inked into her skin. Vision didn't understand the concept of tattoos and piercings but Y/N patiently answered all of his questions. Wanda couldn't believe she not only knew her favorite author, but lived with him. She was over the moon when Y/N promised she would invite her over to meet Jeremiah. Natasha was impressed that after the initial novelty of meeting a group of superheroes wore off she talked to them like they were all just normal people. The Black Widow could tell when someone was being less than authentic, and she was pleased to see that Steve's Omega was as sincere as she appeared on the surface. And of course that she didn't treat Bruce like a live grenade, but asked him about his scientific work. The doctor himself was nearly ecstatic that she was genuinely interested in what he had to say. Sam was already gently teasing her and having it served right back. She didn't shrink behind Steve, rely on him to speak for her. They all adored her already.
And Steve… Steve fell even deeper for his Omega. Y/N looked over at him and smiled as if she could hear his thoughts. He had already known that she was his and he was hers; but seeing how she fit in with his team, his family made him absolutely certain that they weren't just a good match. They were True Mates, led to each other by a force greater than coincidence. He had felt it the moment he touched her hand, but now there could be no doubts. Bucky was sitting beside him and leaned in a little closer.
“I have to admit that I didn't totally buy into the whole True Mates thing,” he said quietly so only Steve could hear him. “But I see the two of you together now, and I think I believe it.” Steve looked over at his best friend, noticed the wistful expression on Bucky's face.
“There's someone out there for you too, Buck. I know it.” Bucky's lips curled in in a faint smile.
“I think I almost believe that too, pal.” He nodded in Y/N's direction, she was walking over to the two of them.
“Do you mind if I steal him away for a moment, Bucky?”
“Not at all, Doll.” Steve stood up and took her hand.
“Everything all right?”
“Yep, I just need to talk to you about something,” she lowered her voice. “Private.” He began to lead her away from the group.
“Use protection!” Tony yelled at them. Steve's head whipped around to glare at him but Y/N laughed and gave him the finger.
“I'm sorry about him, Y/N. He can't keep his head out of the gutter.” Steve grumbled when they were alone. She went up on her tip toes and pulled him in for a lingering kiss.
“Don't worry about Tony, Alpha. I wasn't hard to figure out that you shouldn't take him too seriously.” The way she purred his title, and the echo of her kiss filled his belly with warmth.
“What do you need to talk to me about, Omega?” His fingers stroked through her hair.
“I called and made an appointment with my doctor,” she dropped her gaze and bit her lip. “To discuss the implant. And its removal.”
“You're sure?” It was impossible to keep the pure joy out of his voice. She nodded.
“I'm not going to lie, it makes me anxious. But I'm ready to be your Omega, officially.” She tilted her head and exposed her neck to him. “To wear your mark with pride.” A dark shiver went through his body and he couldn't help scraping his teeth against her bonding gland.
“What do you need me to do?” He asked, his voice deepened with desire.
“Come with me? To the appointment, I mean.” She sounded a little breathless. “We can figure it out from there.”
“I'll be there.” He promised. “Stay with me tonight?” Y/N melted into his embrace.
“I thought you'd never ask.”

Infinity War - Part 1
You and Peter get interrupted on a school trip and end up taking an unplanned journey to space
Promises Chapter 6 Prev // Next
Word Count: 2,395
Pairings: Peter x Reader, Dad!Tony x Reader
Warnings: Fluffy, Motionsick!Peter
A/N: Your powers come into action
You rested your head on Peter’s shoulder as the school bus rattled along. Ned was sitting in front of you with Betty and you smiled at how evidently they liked each other. Peter was on his phone playing a game and you asked if you could play. “I mean good luck but it’s really hard.” He said with a smile. You took the phone and beat his high score on your first try. You grinned smugly and he pouted. You kissed him gently on the cheek and placed your head back on his shoulder to watch him play.
A little while later, just as you were getting out of Queens, the hair on Peter’s arms stood up. You and Peter shared a look, then you snapped your heads around to look out the window. “Oh my god.” You whispered and Peter nodded with a gulp. An enormous ring shaped ship was slowly lowering towards the ground. “Quick suit up.” You whispered into his ear and you placed a hand on his bare wrist. He felt a pulse of energy shoot through his nervous system and looked at his hands. They weren’t there. “This is so cool!” He hissed and he heard you chuckle beside him, then another version of you both appeared in your seats. They acted normally and took no notice of the actual people. Then the visible Peter stood to open the window and real Peter felt a hot breath in his ear. “Go go go.” You whispered as the visible manifestation of her form pointed out of the window towards the ship and let out a scream. Ned turned and bleached. “WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!” He yelled as you and Peter slipped out of the moving vehicle. He held onto the side of the bus, holding himself tightly to it to prevent himself being crushed and you wrapped your arms around him. He felt your hand scrabble for his again. “Three.” You whispered. “Two.” You wrapped your other arm around the back of his neck. “One.” You vanished. Peter’s stomach twisted uncomfortably and every ounce of his being felt like it was being torn apart and sewn back together again.
Then his feet hit the floor and he stumbled. You still had a grip on his hand and you stabilised him easily, both of you visible now. You chuckled to yourself as he gazed around, bewildered. You pulled him into a hug to stabilise him and it seemed to help to stop his head from spinning. “That was cool.” He said weakly. “But please don’t make me do it again.” You laughed and pulled away. “Suit up.” You said gently, pointing to the ship that was still creeping further towards the earth.
Spiderman and Spectre swung and jumped through the air towards the donut ship. “Hey dad?” You said into your comms as the call went through. “Hi Y/N, now’s not a great time.” He huffed and you heard him take a hit. “We’re coming towards that big flying donut. Is that where you are?” You asked and Tony mumbled affirmatively. “Hang in there dad.” You said, speeding up your pace. The floating disks beneath your feet vanished as the pressure was removed. Peter swung from buildings nearby and occasionally used your platforms to swing below you.
You crashed into an alien, feet first and it crumpled to the floor. Peter had his arms wrapped around another one’s neck and he was holding on for dear life. You teleported over to the alien and punched it in the face. It roared loudly, peeled the two of you off of its body and threw you both against a tree. Peter webbed himself to a distant tree and caught you too, preventing you from crashing into the trunk. You wheezed as Peter caught you and you sprung back into him. He caught you in a hug and you rolled backwards on the ground. “So dad, update us.” You half shouted, clambering to your feet and helping Peter up. “Um evil titan is trying to collect all of the seven Infinity Stones, now his kids are here to try and get one of them off of that wizard guy with the cape.” “Dad there are only six.” “Six what?” “Infinity Stones.” “How do you know that?” Tony asked, surprised. “Oh hey Y/N.” Called the wizard. Tony spluttered in increasing confusion. “That’s Dr Strange and Wong. I met them a couple of years ago and they helped me with my powers.” You said, jumping on your platforms across to another alien, where you dodged the blade and slammed the enemy into the ground. Now that he thought about it, your platforms looked almost identical to the wizrds’ magic, just yours were sliver.
Suddenly you heard Strange cry out and you watched him fall unconscious. One of the aliens lifted him with some sort of telekinesis powers and began to beam up to the ship. “Uh guys.” You said. “We have a Strange situation.” “What kind of strange situation?” Tony asked. “No- a situation. With Strange. Squidward’s got him.” “Ah crap.” Tony said. “I’ll get in there.” You said, then teleported onto the ship as the other aliens beamed up. “Kid you stay here.” Tony said to Peter in the comms as he flew up into the air, speeding towards the ship. Tony squinted through the eyes of his suit. Something was on the outside of the ship. No. “Kid I told you to stay on the ground.” He half yelled into the comms. “With all due respect Sir.” He wheezed. “I’m not leaving while Y/N’s on that ship.” His words were short and harsh as he slowly ran out of oxygen. You heard his wheezing breaths in your ear. Tony watched as Peter began to fall from the ship and you had to stop yourself from crying out as you heard Peter’s breathing hitch and you knew he was falling. “Friday?!” Tony said in a panic and you heard the AI respond “Right away Sir.” The seconds seemed like hours as you waited in silence. “Woah Mr Stark it smells like a new car in here!” Peter’s voice sounded in your ear and your sighed with relief. “Now get out of here kid.” Tony said and Peter let out a yell as Tony deployed the Iron Spider parachute.
Minutes later, Tony appeared next to you, helmet off and you began to whisper and create a plan. “Dad that’s not gonna work.” You whispered and Tony nodded glumly. “Hey I have an idea.” A voice behind them said and Tony yelled out, causing you to clasp your hand tightly around his mouth with a glare. “Peter what are you doing here!” You hissed and he looked offended as he landed lightly on his toes. Tony looked betrayed. You charged at Peter and squeezed him into a tight hug, which was difficult given the fact that he was finally wearing the new Iron Spider suit you’d made him. He hugged you back, slightly surprised. “Do you remember ages ago when you got into trouble and you made me promise not to leave you?” Peter said and you sighed, then kissed him on the cheek with a soft smile and pulled away. Tony rolled his eyes. “So what’s your idea kid?” He said in hushed tones. “So there’s this really old movie-“ He began and you couldn’t help but grin as you heard those words.
You held onto the side of the ship as best you could as it careered into the surface of Titan. The walls beside you began to rupture and you let out a yell as you began to fall. Peter shouted your name as you felt a web wrap itself around your hand and you sprang back into his arms. As the ship rolled, eight metal arms shot out of the back of Peter’s suit and protected you both like a roll cage. Your muscles began to relax, but Peter didn’t let go for a few more moments. As Tony and Strange rose to their feet, they stumbled when the ship jolted yet again, settling into its final position. Peter hesitantly let you get up and the iron legs retracted into his suit. “Can I just say.. If aliens wind up implanting eggs in my chest or something and I eat one of you I’m sorry..” He said, grabbing everyone’s attention. “I do not want another single pop culture reference out of you for the rest of the trip. Do you understand?” Tony replied, parent mode switching on. “I’m trying to say that something is coming.” He said bluntly, pointing to a hole in the side of the ship. A metal ball rolled into the middle of the space you were standing in and before any of you could react, you were all blasted apart. Peter was unable to catch you this time and you crashed into a metal beam which knocked the air out of you and you struggled for breath. Several figures came charging through the dust and one yelled Thanos’ name and began to throw knives at Strange, who conjured a shield with his powers. His cloak immediately targeted the knife thrower, who yelled: “DIE BLANKET OF DEATH!”. Another one of the group flew into the air and shot at Tony, who joined him in combat. The flying man landed on his feet a few metres away and laughed as he pressed a button, which caused a small device now fixed to Tony’s suit to attract to the metal of the ship, where he was stuck like a fridge magnet. You watched from as distance, your head spinning with the lack of oxygen and from the impact of your landing and you saw Peter scrambling away from another of one of the invaders. “WOAWOAWOAWOAWOAH!” He squeaked, fumbling his footing. “PLEASE DON’T PUT YOUR EGGS IN ME.” He squealed, trying to use his web shooters but they faltered and you weakly raised your hand and used your limited telekinesis to throw her away from Peter. The intruder who had previously been locked in combat with your dad launched himself towards Peter and began to blast him and you readied herself for another hidden attack. Peter leapt into the air, the iron legs shooting out again and he dodged the shots being fired. Then the attacker brought out another form of weapon and you watched in horror as Peter was electrocuted and crashed to the floor, then rolled into a corner. You let out a guttural yell and forced yourself to your feet, and began to stalk towards Peter’s hunter, invisibility falling over you, a look in your eye which could have killed. Tony broke free of the magnet and flew towards where Strange’s cloak was being pried off the intruder’s face. Tony landed on top of him as the blanket was peeled off and readied one of his blasters. Peter’s attacker had hauled him to his feet and had him in a headlock, a gun to Peter’s temple.
“Everybody stay where you are! Chill the F out!” Peter’s captor yelled, removing his mask. You were invisible and creeping slowly towards Peter and the apparently human man, fury pulsing through your veins. The man moved to point his gun at your dad and your jaw tightened. “I’m gonna ask you this one time. Where is Gamora.” He said threateningly. Tony’s helmet retracted to reveal a face of pure incredulity. “I’ll do you one better. WhO is Gamora.” He said sarcastically. “I’ll do YOU one better. WHY is Gamora!?” The intruder under Tony’s feet said and you hesitated, confused. “Tell me where the girl is otherwise I swear to you I will french fry this little freak.” The man with Peter said and Tony’s face contorted. “Let’s do it you shoot my guy I blast him!” Tony yelled and you noticed Strange with his powers ready and waiting. “Let’s go!” Your dad’s largest weapon formed out of his suit and he aimed it. “Do it Quill! I can take it!” The man shouted at the one who was holding Peter, apparently called Quill. “No he can’t!” Called the insect lady from where you had blasted her to. “She’s right you can’t.” Strange muttered. “Oh you don’t want to tell me where she is? That’s fine! I’ll kill all three of you and I’ll beat it out of Thanos myself! Starting with you.” He shouted, gesturing to Peter and you blasted him with your powers, flickering into view and causing the intruders to yell in shock. “Don’t. Fucking. Move.” You growled, voice like steel. “WHERE DID YOU COME FROM!?” Quill squealed, scrambling away. You lifted his wriggling body into the air and he looked around, panicked. Peter had scrambled behind you and you felt his hand on your back. The insect woman was running at you and you blasted her again with your spare hand. “Ow.” Came the small response and as much as you wanted to smile, you kept your face intimidatingly expressionless. Quill struggled in the air. Strange looked confused. “Wh- wait Thanos?” He stuttered. “Alright let me ask you this one thing. What master do you serve?” “What master do I serve? What am I supposed to say? Jesus?” Quill spat. Tony sighed. “You’re from Earth.” “No I’m not from Earth, I’m from Missouri.” Quill glared and Tony gave him one of his eye rolls. “Yeah that’s on Earth dipshit. What are you hassling us for?” Everyone’s faces were pictures of confusion, even yours. “So you’re not with Thanos?” Peter said quietly from behind you. “With Thanos? No! I’m here to kill Thanos..” Quill replied, looking confused. “He took my girl wai- who are you?” He wasn’t struggling any more and lay still in your powers’ grasp. Peter let his mask retract. “We’re the Avengers man!” Peter said, stepping out from his human shield and looking so much like Tony it was scary. You provided a replica of your father’s eye roll and let Quill crash to the floor as the insect woman approached. “You’re the ones Thor told us about.” She said and Tony, Peter and your heads snapped to look at her. “You know Thor?” Tony said. “Yeah. Tall guy. Not that good looking. Needed saving.” Peter looked confused as Quill said this. Strange spoke up calmly: “Where is he now?”
