I love having headcanons that just exist in my head because I can literally have two things that completely contradict each other and be like yk what? Multiple universes!!! Why have just one when you can have both?

yeah yeah i know i usually post silly little anecdotes about the bad batch but how about some real analysis?
people have said it before but truly the only way for this show to have a message and meaning in the end is for it to have a happy (if not that then bittersweet) ending.
the whole point of the show is family, specifically clone force 99/the bad batch as a family. the show literally starts with them accepting omega into their family. throughout the show, this theme of family is repeated. them helping hera syndulla rescue her parents. them helping rex rescue their fellow clones because they're all brothers. phee introducing them to her family on pabu.
star wars has always had a message of love and family, but more often than not, that ends in tragedy. we're all hoping the bad batch will give us that ending where they're all reunited. they'll rescue omega/all escape tantiss in some way, tech will be revealed as cx-2 (i'm a supporter of this theory and for this post i'm going to assume he is cx-2), and they're able to all go and be TOGETHER as a family. what they do after that doesn't matter. they just need to be together.
i can see any of them sacrificing themselves in the finale, but the whole point should be that they're not ALLOWED to. not when they're this close. not when they're a family again. not when crosshair is back. not when they learn tech is alive. not when omega is safe. whoever (likely hunter or echo) tries to sacrifice themselves needs to be held back. because family is the point. because they're not letting ANYONE else pull a plan 99.
the bad batch show might be ending, but it shouldn't be the end of them as a squad. they HAVE to live. because family is the point, because they protect each other, because they're allowed that quiet life of not being soldiers and that time to heal and to join the rebellion if they want to. but if hunter, wrecker, crosshair, and echo die, and tech is either not cx-2 or they can't save him, and omega stays in tantiss forever, it destroys their whole theme that they've spent the whole show developing.
tragic endings and stories are star wars specialty (the prequels, the clone wars, rogue one, andor, hell even rebels and solo to an extent). the bad batch has potential to show us that there is that other central theme of star wars: hope. there's hope for our main characters and that they'll be the ones who show us that not every hero who fights for the rebellion/the republic just faces tragedy. there's hope that omega can grow up in peace. there's hope that hunter can have his quiet life away from being a soldier. there's hope that echo can keep fighting for what he believes in, that crosshair can heal, that tech will live, that wrecker will see all his brothers again.
basically, star wars give us a happy ending to this story of family and hope. we deserve it, the characters deserve it, and the story deserves it.

So, I’ve been thinking—as I often do—about Emma and Scott.
The unpleasant truth is that in an endless series like the X-Men, they were almost doomed to fail from the beginning. Jean and Scott were the original couple, and it was practically guaranteed that at some point, someone in editorial would think, "Hey, let's take it back to the roots."
Plus, Jean and Scott have that epic love story—dying for each other, they have so powerful son, Scott being willing to sacrifice it all for her, their romance so unique and iconic for the X-Men saga… bla, bla, bla. Yeah, It’s true. It’s epic, and it’s special, and that’s why different writers will keep coming back to it over time... BUT!
Scott and Emma, on the other hand, had a beautiful, grown-up romance, with its mistakes and falls, where they both learned how to be different, perhaps better, people. They went through some of the hardest times in mutant history together, but... it just doesn’t have the same punch as Jean dying so Scott and all of humanity can live on.
For Scott and Emma to truly become that iconic couple, they needed something that couldn’t just be swept under the rug. Something that would forever remind everyone that these two were together. And I honestly think it would have been perfect if they were the ones to bring the first mutant child into the world after No More Mutants.
I imagine a story where the X-Men are fighting their last battle for the survival of mutantkind. There aren’t many of them left. One year, nothing. The next, still nothing. Mutants just aren’t being born.
Ideally, I’d avoid the whole AVX story arc—it was poorly done, not a bad idea, but the way they tried to paint Scott as the bad guy was just ridiculous.
In any case, everyone gradually loses hope, maybe they truly consider a strategy of retreat, secret identities, trying to live in peace. And then Emma finds out she’s pregnant.
But of course, they’re never left alone by humans, or maybe aliens attack, and the X-Men throw themselves back into the fight. Emma ends up giving birth in some tragic situation, and now I’m borrowing from Ruby Summers, because I want it to be obvious from the start that this is a mutant baby. So Emma gives birth to a red-skinned child, just to piss everyone off.
Scott: “Beat us, poison us, break our bones, we’ll be back, and why?"
Emma: “Because we like it!"
Scott: “Emma…”
Emma: “Because we’re mutants!”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PS: You cannot stop evolution!
PSS: Ruby Hope Summers, because Ruby has to be Ruby, but the name Hope is too good to leave behind.
PSSS: Mutants don’t need Scott’s crazy ex or her reincarnation to save them...

I cannot believe that season. truly just. there was not a single episode I didn't sit down to without a genuine conviction that *this* would be the episode where they spit all over everything I loved about the show. I braced constantly throughout the episodes as they kept setting themselves up for Very Stupid story choices only to pull the rug and go "HAHA surprise, idiot!!! We've given you exactly what you wanted <3". until the final episode which was NOT what I wanted and also exponentially better storytelling and character development than any of the ideal scenarios I'd constructed.
something deeply meta about it all. truly a chaos season for the chaos god, where the most chaotic, unexpected, transformative thing they can do is to be good.
Spent the day processing my love for this season only to have your message sum my thoughts and feelings up perfectly, thank you so very much for sending it 💖
Same as you, not for a second did I go in truly expecting anything from s2. Owen and Mobius have my heart, always will, so primarily the show was a vehicle to provide whatever crumbs of his scenes and chemistry with Tom I could get and with the start of every episode I braced for the moment that would get ruined in some way, only to be continually hit with everything I've ever wanted in a show or pairing right up until the finale. Which, while not what I would've chosen, was beautifully crafted and an almost Shakespearean tragic romance that will haunt me for the rest of my days and is still infinitely better than the nightmare scenarios I'd been floating around in my mind so at least there's that and it's impossible not to be thankful for eps 1-5 for giving content anyone could dream of and more 😅
Besides the obvious ending, I'm mostly crushed our Loki and Mobius didn't get a proper goodbye but honestly believe Loki decided to seek out s1 Mobius instead knowing s2 Mobius loved him too much to ever let his sacrifice happen and it would've been too much to bear, so having made his mind up already he at least tried to visit a version most likely to validate his choice. Just wish the Mobius now waiting until the end of time had at least a similar opportunity, but I'm just thankful he didn't lose his memories and could make his own decision that his faith in Loki is what's carried him before and will continue to do so now.
The flip of their characterization from order or chaos is exactly what has me convinced Lokius will reunite because how can they not with such an open ended future?? Even in separation they revolve around each other and they're the only ones left wanting. Mobius and his life are in ruins with nothing but the passage of time and possibility of some spent with Loki ahead while Loki's surely going to find a way to meet halfway when the choice of order has not only made him potentially the most powerful being in existence but one who spends eternity looking at the only person who ever saw him back.

PATCH STORY SPOILERS
I have thoughts! They are below! Please remember that we are a DawnTrail-Critical household!
[Not in the sense that I hate it but I actually really loved a lot about it but that I think the writing was extremely mixed]
WE FINALLY. GOT TO HAVE. OUR TACOS.
!!!!
Ok for real now-first of all really loving everything going on with my beloved Dawn Throne family. Wuk Lamat is being amazing as usual. I love that we got closure about Koanas folks [cuz like, c'mon there was no way it went down as he remembered as like 2 year old LOL;;]. LOVE THAT HE REALLY STOOD BETWEEN A RONEEK AND A GIANT CHARGING DINO OF DOOM LIKE THAT WAS GOING TO STOP IT YOU WEIGHT LIKE 120LBS KOANA LOL
And I love that we've finally got something about Galool Ja and who his mom was, even if everything about it was so sad and broken from the start. I figured it would have to be, given Zoraal Ja's staunch denial of the child's presence. It still hits the right amount of tragic in the reveal of it all.
Also very excited that yes, Y'Shtola will be bothering me to examine the magical maguffin, even if I still don't like that it exists lol.
But also
You know
Tumblr media
SO LIKE
Yo.
I can't even.
And I'm not even talking about hologram Sphene. BUT ALSO I AM 100% SURE HER ATTENDANT DID IT. OR SOMEONE CLOSE TO HER. Someone rebooted the system and then yoinked themselves back into the matrix.
ANYWAYS. I MEAN THE REAL SPHENE. THE ONE Y'SHTOLA JUST FOUND IN LIVING MEMORY.
I just. Its gotta be her, bleary eyed and confused about where the fuck she is. I'M CONFUSED TOO THE AETHER JUST SPAT HER BACK OUT FULLY FORMED. She sounds like she just woke up from dying!
At first I was just too mad about the whole thing with AI Sphene being back to think too much on it. On the extremely sus set up of it all, and what those neo regulators are *really for* bc you know Wuk Lamat is right. The AI Sphene we know was prepared to sacrifice the whole damn universe to save all her people, not just a few. Whoever this is realizes they only have so many resources to do this with.
BUT NOW WE HAVE REAL SPHENE IN THE MIX TOO. AND GUYS I UH...REALLY HOPE THIS PLAYS OFF WELL.
Because AI Sphene was a monster, cute smile and all, and I did not enjoy how hard the narrative tried to make us see her as a good person, or how inactive we were about it. Wuk Lamat is new to this, but we, and not just the WoL, but Alisae too, were right there and never said anything about how much this resembles past foes.
But guys. Real Sphene has the possibility of making all that just...a little bit less annoying. I hope. It wont fix the first half's writing issues, but it can turn it in a better direction. Especially if what it is, is that the writers decided to play the long game in terms of their two story halves more so than they have in the past.
Imagine. Queen Sphene wakes up. Finds the kingdom has lived far beyond her expectations. They survived and are wondrous and innovative...and they are also throwing the cycle of life and death out of wack. They are forgetting themselves and each other for the solace of avoiding death and pain. They are hurting others to do it. They are being lead by someone who looks like her, but has no compassion for anyone outside her own kingdom. If Sphene is even half the person the AI made her out to be...then she would be heartbroken to see what has become of her kingdom. And she has the power and authority to stop it.
The story has made a point to say "we don't know what the real Sphene would have wanted". Well shes here now, and boy wouldn't it be fucking amazing, if she said "not any of this".
It has real potential now too, to talk about the difference between the memory and actuality. How memory can distort and change over time, be a shadow of the truth. And...idk that they are going to go this route, but if Sphene is not going to be the only one to come back from Living Memory-then all the Alexandrians have to be confronted with those they forgot. Fucking imagine coming back from the dead only to find none of your loved ones even remember who you are?? What would even be the point?
I also. Really just want this to happen in the middle of the square in Solution 9:

Shaking your hand shaking your hand shaking your hand. Thank you for being the first person to engage with my rambling 1000xRESIST post. Also compliments on the username; I do think ORV has some parallels in 1000xRESIST. Specifically how both Dokja and Iris were in isolation, and duplicated themselves in a way where their copy hated them and tried to kill them. The main difference being that Dokja had others who cared about him, but Iris had already gotten rid of anyone who might intervene in her new world. And both of them are EXCELLENT at being works that have no single all-consuming thesis, but instead are complex and interwoven narratives that cannot be consumed and understood in a single attempt, or even by a single viewpoint.
absolutely insane ask to wake up to. hello. a fellow 1xr AND orv enjoyer oh my gosh..... how does it feel having immaculate taste!!! we are melding minds rn 🧠🤝🧠
throwing up blood at the dokja/iris parallels i feel sick to my stomach!!! thank YOU for being the first person to bring up the orvcore of this game. i've been literally vibrating out of my skin without anyone to scream about this hyperspecific niche with so i hope you don't mind me rambling for a sec lmao
you're SO right about their similarities and it's breaking my heart.... also the way both iris and dokja only know how to sacrifice, and the tragic irony of how they both take after their mothers in this because it's the only way they know to love. and the contrast between iris deciding to show everyone her past which led to her eventual demise vs dokja hiding his past at all costs and taking up the blade to doom himself.
also! the themes of stories and memories. how the keepers/occupants were referencing memories and the outer gods were beings of excised stories. and the concept of death and remembrance as a transfer. how a story is alive as long as someone out there is thinking of it. a person living through the memories of others. how because of this both dokja and iris remained and remained and remained after death.
i also see a lot of similarities between watcher and od... both scattered across time and having lived too many lifetimes, lost in reminiscence in an endless train. they're the reason their current timeline exists because they embodied that balance between remembrance of the past and hope for the future... even if that future didn't include themselves.
the difference was watcher communed in an attempt to understand, and od dreamed out of love for that one story... but in a way, just like orv said, isn't trying to understand someone a labor of love? how you can keep rereading a person's story and find something new each time, and still never fully understand them?
oh!! i absolutely love how you articulated that last part about narratives that can't be completely understood by a single viewpoint... i've often found those to be my favorite kind of stories; the ones that raise questions without any one definitive answer, that allow for different interpretations and multiple readings. and you're right, both of these stories are PEAK in that regard 🤌
also if you'd like another story with similar vibes, interwoven narratives, and nuanced themes i highly recommend a manhwa called Truth or Dare (Jinsolhan Segye) by Yu Myeong. it's fairly short and it starts out slow but gets very philosophical and is a social commentary on so many things... i posted some rambling propaganda here if you're curious but tbh i'd rec going in blind! i don't want to say too much about it because just like with 1xr and orv there's so much joy in gleaning the themes in a story for yourself <3

OKAY- HOLD ON-
So I just had a really weird dream last night- a really weird one! I dreamed about how the newest Layton game came out- you know it- ‘World Of Stream.’
I dreamed that I got it for Christmas and that I played it!
I can’t even begin to explain what happened!?
So-
Luke is grown and a detective and friends with this older famous engineer- who made everything in the now highly steampunk-futuristic looking America!?
He was like half robot! Had a visor and everything that showed his little emotions! Gold and blue steampunk-style look with these epic steampunk gauntlet claws! He actually was disabled- an amputee only having his one leg and the rest of his limbs where missing after an incident and replaced with cool prosthetics! He was also half-blind. His name was Arlo! I can’t remember his full name but it was Arlo! It was probably something cooler- but I’m calling him Arlo!
A ‘comic relief’ and mascot character of this little robot character named Whim! They were small and blue and had these little pipes that went from their back to their head which steam came out of! They had a full-face visor that showed their expressions through icons and such! They were like Arlo’s first creation and they looked more janky, goofy but- Omigosh I loved them!?
They were witty and a lil sarcastic but in a funny way and just- helpful and they had character and a story! They were loyal as anything to Arlo and joined the little main cast perfectly.
So like usual- drama and mystery’s occur about some flip-flop book of memories, Arlo looking familiar to Layton-
Apparently Arlo was revealed to be Luke’s older and missing brother, something about how Arlo used to be Layton’s apprentice. They one day went exploring in a cave and Layton being a archaeologist- trying to find the magical book. They find it and stuff happens and the cave collapses and Layton or apparently someone used the book which erased any memory of Arlo’s existence!? Even to his parents, even to Hershel, even to himself??
Arlo was trapped and badly injured which eventually led him to be found by people and living a new life in making gadgets to better people’s lives, then Arlo becomes the tragic villian of the story who wants revenge on Layton and chases him around with a giant mechanical spider mecha. Like damn- petty much? Plus pretty big stretch for a motive… but whatever.
Layton tries to reason with Arlo and apologies- it seems to work as Arlo settles and seems to forgive him before he suddenly slashes Layton across the cheek in like a really cool cinematic moment!? Like in a real tense and real animated moment- even a Luke gasp. Layton does dramatic fall. Hits ground. Luke’s casual- nah crying out “Proffesah!”
Whim also being there and looking horrified.
Luke is angy and Arlo is sad about that and stuff.
Flora was in some scenes for some reason- I don’t know when but she suddenly appears and disappears at times!?
More stuff ensues!
The whole story in a nutshell is just meeting Luke, wanting to go on little mystery’s, learning about mystery book, Layton and Arlo slowly remembering each other and Luke being happy for his two friends to meet finally, Whim moments, Arlo realising and remembering and turning bitter and turning to revenge mid-way and just-
Whim realising their creator is not who they think they am and agreeing to help to hack Arlo’s robo army…?
And then trying to destroy Arlo- Whim is also infected by a dangerous glitch or virus?
Whim practically sacrifices themselves and that part I was crying about when I woke up!?
Like this isn’t even real and I was sobbing!
I don’t know what to do with this dream but it was so random and just so- vivid that I had to post it!
If anyone has questions about this plot I can try and answer them??
There’s a lot more to say I’m just trying to wrap my head around it all!
I am trying to write this before I forget it! D:

Thoughts on Heartbreak.
For as long as there is summer, there will be summer flings. Fuelled by the sticky heat and optimism of sunshine; fleeting love affairs are tragically common at this time of year. However, this year they seem overly present, albums I enjoy portray brutal interpretations of such events, every time I open TikTok I’m warned of some cataclysmic astrological event that will ruin my love life or some girl who’s just been ghosted by her summer situationship and even every tv show I watch I see mirrors of interactions I’ve had since May. Maybe it’s my own echo chamber, spawned from my own thoughts and feelings but it seems of though this year was witness to the summer of inconsequential love.
My summer started by falling in love. Falling in love with someone that felt so unattainable and perfect it wasn’t real. We met at a bar in May, and I had failed to break up with my boyfriend the week before. You could visualise the sparks flying from us as though we were two protagonists meeting at the start of some bittersweet 2000s rom com, slowly leaning in, pupils growing and smiles lingering. Two days later I broke up with that boyfriend in the morning and went on a date with my lover in the evening. It felt all too surreal, all too euphoric, in hindsight you can tell it was doomed, nothing ever starts that good without a tragic ending, the story simply wouldn’t be good enough.
My love affair ended a few weeks ago, like I’m assuming so many others have. It was mild, and emotional, no flames, just two people being vulnerable and hating how cruel their honesty was being. Summers ended, the films have ended, and we must all return to normality and reality. Ever since my breakup, I have been looming on the concept of heartbreak and what it does to an individual. It’s a time and feeling of great sadness, one where your heart feels like its being sucked into a void that pulling at everything inside of you and all you can think of is their smile, their laugh, all the little mundane moments that made you feel loved so massively. It’s brutal, the most similar experience I can think of is death, but somehow crueller as that person gets to go on knowing every side of you and you every side of them, but now you’re forced to act like strangers despite once being each other’s best friends.
The worst part and best part of heartbreak is acceptance. You finally recognise the tragic reasoning for your parting, if its you, if its them, it doesn’t matter – but it will always involve someone putting themselves first. In a good or bad way, the one left heartbroken is often a victim of someone’s own self-fulfilment even if it was a difficult decision of the other to make. Hence, the sharp stab of honesty in these moments. On the other hand, acceptance is the first step towards moving forward. There are no more questions, there’s no more overwhelming emotion, it’s the quiet end to a brutal emotional storm.
The effect of a breakup, especially one when you’re still very in love can be much akin to a hurricane. It comes in roaring, creating anxiety, insecurity and anger, demolishing the bedrock of our egos. We question our attractiveness, our personality, our effort, our kindness, our naivety – everything we ever gave to the person. But then, we reach acceptance and contentment with our loss, we mourn our time together, we mourn all the futures we could have had, but we finally realise that no matter how much we fix, how much were willing to sacrifice, if someone truly wants to leave its solely an issue with them, and we can call them selfish but the reality is that we empathise and we understand and we have to let them go.
The thing with life is that we very rarely plan something out, in careers, in family, in friends, we often fall and stumble into these people and experiences, and I think this is very true of love. If someone wants to leave, I someone rejects you, I someone uses you – they were never meant for you. Love should be like a puzzle piece perfectly slotting in, not something forced in the gap because its eventually going to spring out. These great love affairs will shape us, teach us and help us grow but we shouldn’t force them to be something they’re not meant to be. We should take them as a lesson in how to love. And eventually, after so many lessons in love you’ll stumble and fall into someone who sees you as a part of their self-fulfilment instead of an obstacle and it will all be worth it then.

you asked for a shitty poem istg this is the only poem ive ever written HEY COME BACK *grabs you and pulls you back* NOW YOU HAVE TO TELL ME ABOUT ALL YOUR NEW STUFF AND SHARE SOME OF YOURS >:(
Tumblr media
also literally you don't have to feel pressured to answer this take your time like honestly you don't even have to reply I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR NEW WIP SACRIFICE!1?1?11??1
AAAAAAAAAAAAA! HI!
*offers you tea*
I sent you an ask a few days ago but my tumblr is acting funny so I don't think you got it. Anyways.....
The poem omigod. It's wow! Is it the complexities of human emotion that we hide with beauty. Or is it about romanticizing the dangerous and falling in love with it. The juxtaposition. The rhythm. The contrast. Holy fucking wow. ITS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. ITS SO GOOD. *frothing mouth*
Also you new pfp is so cooot. eeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Okay now to answer your questions. New stuff, nothing much there. I have been writing Rebel and Havenpoint (I should really post the next chapter) really slowly. Writing more chem notes than stories.
Rebel is a part of a series. I still haven't decided if it is going to be a duology or a trilogy. But there will be another book if I have the energy and will to write it.
And I have been concentrating on making two comic strips for my college scholarship. I finished the first one, one more to go.
Long rant below. Like really fucking long. Not joking.
Sacrifice is a placeholder name for my WIP. I haven't decided what its actual name will be. I am really hoping I don't abandon this WIP.
Like I did with Masque, Woven Worlds, Orphic Academy, Timekeepers, Card Thief, Games of the Astute, Mortal Bound, The Playground, After the afterlife (dumb name), Stolen by Silence, etc.
So Sacrifice is an Indian Dark Academia novel.
25 of the best magic users from all over India will be invited to attend a prestigious and mythical academy after they finish 12th grade. So they take this mysterious train ride to another fucking realm where the school is (nobody knows its exact location cause they all faint in the train). Also the academy's architecture will be based off on Indian architecture throughout the ages, so I am currently researching on that when I get time.
The students have a year to conduct a study in the academy. They will have access to all sorts of ancient scriptures and previous alumni's studies. At the end of the year the Dean will see what they worked on. If the dean is impressed by you project they will tell you the secret of life and death magic. The Dean is never impressed. If they fail to impress the Dean they go home with absolutely nothing and they would forget the place.
However, the people who went back home with nothing went mad after a while and killed themselves. Their minds are not able to process the magical place they had just been to. Being at the academy also manages to mess with the minds of a person. It drives them a bit crazy. Some people have suicided there or have killed somebody else. The students don't know this.
Spoilers after this point.
So a group of six students join together and decide to help each other with their projects so they can get the secret. One of the group finds out about the whole madness thing and tells the others about it.
Now each of the six students has a hamartia (tragic flaw). From jealousy to manipulative. This is actually a small experiment from my side because the main characters are not good people, so I am gonna try and make them likable. Its going to be so hard.
Anyways desperate and power hungry the group decides to find the secret themselves and steal the academy's resources and escape before the end of the year.
The others fearful of dying/going mad start to push the limits of their magic. They experiment with things that they are not supposed to experiment with.
With every experiment their hamartia takes over. They start going mad. They become a fucking cult. They start to sacrifice the other students to ancient gods (in true ancient fashion) and become more powerful. Once all the students are gone they start killing each other and the last one left ends up destroying the academy along with themself trying to become the most powerful being.
*sobbing* I talk too much.

I was thinking about Dean Winchester today, as one does, and I was thinking about that finale again.
Tumblr media
While I don't agree with the whole Dean death route as his endgame, it drives me crazy every time I think about how they could have just made a small tweak or two in the writing to make it work better and have a much bigger emotional impact. They could have made it work for them on so many levels and just chose not to. It literally was right there.
I've said in the past that had Dean been shoved into that godforsaken rebar in lieu of one of the kids, then that would have worked better than the random push out of nowhere that we got. Now, I think what would have worked even better than that is had Dean been pushed in lieu of Sam. Hear me out.
Dean and Sam have a toxic codependency during the show that the writers worked hard to break in their development as characters outside of that dynamic. It didn't take away from the brothers being the main characters of the story line or their whole dynamic but chose to develop them healthier (as much as it could be in that story line) and fill them out as individuals while still preserving the Winchester brothers dynamic as the heart of the show and as the center the story revolved around.
One of the earmarks of this toxic codependency is that they are both willing to jump to sacrifice themselves (and everyone else) for each other. Many other characters throughout the series remark on this very thing, to the boys themselves. It's a lesson that they are meant to learn and we see both characters attempting to at times, i.e. Sam telling Dean not to look for him & to go live his life before the end of season 5. Now, while Dean saving Sam might seem like more of the same, here is where the whole tragedy part comes in that actually could have worked.
In the beginning of 15x20, we see Dean with Miracle, we see him at a pie festival and spending time with Sam, doing a milk run hunt, while also planning to get out of hunting (the application on his desk). So for him to die unexpectedly on a hunt is indeed tragic but it's even more tragic because he actually was trying to get out. But it was to save his brother (after them saving the kids aka the world, & literally the world in 15x19). Something that Dean has always seen as his responsibility (taking care of his younger brother) but in this light, not because he feels it's his duty as his father programmed him to do, but because of how much he loves his younger brother. It would no longer be part of that toxic codependency.
Which could have then perfectly led to the emotional barn death scene monologue and tied back to the pilot in a more meaningful and beautiful way for both characters.
Tumblr media
While it still would have angered a lot of fans (myself included) because this wasn't supposed to be Dean's endgame based on what the series was leading to (which is why 15x19 makes more sense as an ending to the whole journey the brothers went on; people can hate on later seasons all they want but they happened and they told a story that had evolved from earlier seasons while maintaining the core of the whole series). But if it had to happen, it could have been done so much better just by a small tweak like that alone. (like instead of Party City wig Sam and that whole mess, we could have seen a younger/sort-of-present-day Sam doing the exact same scene & still grieving Dean that would not allude to Sam living a half life).
This would have kept the brothers' dynamic intact, kept them as the center/heart of the story and given that perfect brothers ending, set Sam up to (sadly) be the one part of the Winchesters Family 1.0 to survive and move forward (and though I hate this idea, set up Dean 2.0/a future generation of hunters), and given Dean not only more dignity in his passing but also make sense for his character. Sam has always been one of Dean's primary motivations as a character as well as family (which is why his goal mentioned alongside those two motivations in The Winchesters 1x13 works on a level that the rebar/his time in Heaven in 15x20 SPN didn't); this would have maintained that important part of his arc in a way that would have worked and helped to bring that tragic factor to it organically.

Tragic for Dean because he never got to get out of hunting even though he had been on the verge. Tragic that he was at that moment just starting to figure out what he wanted after this long war his father had signed him and Sam up for was over. Meaningful because he died protecting/saving Sam and the last remnant of his original family. Meaningful because he made the choice, something a hero is supposed to get.
Tragic for Sam because he lost Dean (aka his brother/best friend/parent), something he has done time and time again, but also feared. Tragic because now every single member of his original family is gone. Meaningful because Dean "protected" him and as the Dean antis always like to say, he would be the final girl standing. Meaningful because he now gets to make choices, something a hero is supposed to get (not a half-lived life or unable to move on from his brother's death aka showcasing that toxic codependency again).
If this tweak was made, I believe it would have been a better finale that still wouldn't fit in after 15x19 (again, the story had evolved in later seasons) but would have made much better sense in the series as a whole and a beautiful yet tragic close out to the brothers' story.

(For the time being, I’ll just go by Timeline Kirby anon until I’m ready to un-anon ask)
Oh yes, some of those cross-era encounters will fuel several wake-up calls for tragic characters like Taranza who just wanted to help Sectonia.
On the gameplay side, I was thinking of one of three major approaches:
Traditional 2D platformer (tried and true method for every mainline game)
Newer 3D platformer (experimental with considerable success in BB and FL)
A potential JRPG style game where every character has their own abilities in a turn-based battle system similar to MA’s “Kirby Quest” sub-game while combining SKC’s stat-leveling system
(No, we’re not adding SKC Microtransagolor here. Magolor might have a playable/shopkeeper role, but not for real-money-Gem-Apple purposes)
Also depending on the “era” certain characters like Kirby and Dedede originate from, they could have certain abilities and traits that make them stand out from everyone else.
Different eras of Kirby for example might utilize different health-measuring gimmicks seen in the games (number of hits taken, health bar, number of Kirby clones in-play, etc) and have access to different lists of copy abilities (and their respective masteries of such abilities). While they each have similar base moves, each of them could have a specific trait that makes themselves unique from other Kirbys.
DL - No copy abilities, but can better utilize the Mint Leaf item
KA/NiDL - Star Rod
DL2 - Rick/Kine/Coo and the Rainbow Sword
DL3 - Every Animal Friend and the Love-Love Stick
SS/SSU - Can sacrifice copy ability to summon a helper
CS - Combine copy abilities to create new ones, can use Ribbon’s Crystal
AM - There’s four of them. Can use the Master Sword and Smash ability, can use a phone to gather other Kirbys
SqSd - Has a larger “on-hand” bubble inventory where he can fuse items and abilities to create new ones, copy abilities can be empowered with collectable scrolls (elemental weaponry copy abilities included), can use the Triple Star Staff
RtDL - Access to Super Copy Abilities
TDX - Can access Hypernova after finding a Miracle Fruit
PR - Can use Robobot Armor
SA - Can turn enemies into up to three Friends using Friend Hearts, more adept at performing Friend-based abilities (Train, Bridge, Wheel, Star, Star Allies Sparkler), can imbue elemental properties into several copy abilities, can sacrifice own copy ability to make a Friend, Can summon Dream Friends with special powers and interactions (?)
FL - Copy abilities can be upgraded into improved forms, can use Mouthful Mode
And that’s not even counting the higher spin-off games either.
...Aha! There!
I knew I had an ask of yours still sitting in my inbox, KTA! Yeah, totally left off in the middle of this convo... Sorry about that!
I was thinking, with how much more accessible/easy to work with game making engines have become, we could see a rise in 3D platformer fangames! I don't know how easy it would be to emulate FL's style in something like Unity or Godot, but at least there's a good model for it.
(I also think a diorama-style game, ala Captain Toad, could be a beautiful look for a Kirby fangame. Although you'd probably want to build that one from the ground up to be about puzzle solving. Probably with some diorama loving villain that used a magical artifact to chop Pop Star up into square dioramas!)
...But as we all know, I'd love to see a Kirby JRPG too! Since we've got all the different Kirbys from their different eras of games, I have to ask, are you familiar with the game "Live a Live," which just got a remake? It's one of my FAVORITE JRPGs, and I think you'll find it could be a good model for your story idea...!
By the way, I love how you're planning on re-utilizing the gimmicks from the older games (or turning the older game's traits into gimmicks!) They're one of those things where, its hard to bring them back into a modern game, where obviously HAL will want a new system that meshes with the overall gameplay experience, but some of them were SO GOOD!
Which was the feeling I got looking at your list! I know I felt a burst of excitement just at the chance to play with some of these abilities again! (And doing so either in a 3D adventure or JRPG setting?! Even better!)
-
PS: I think there's lots of humor potential in including a mischievous character like Magolor as a "shopkeeper" of some kind. Especially if there's ONE shopkeeper Magolor (different from the RtDL-verse Magolor) who *somehow* keeps finding the various Kirbys. (Or maybe he operates in some kind of sub-space that all the Kirbys have access to?) He could also trade stage collectibles for items like a sound test/gallery, upgrades etc too!

"Amelia and Alexander: A Love Beyond Worlds"
In a world where parallel universes intertwined with alternate history, two souls were destined to meet. Their love would change the course of time itself. In the quaint village of Elmsworth, there lived a young woman named Amelia. She was a curious soul, always exploring the depths of knowledge and seeking answers to life's mysteries. One fateful day, while delving into her grandfather's dusty old library, she stumbled upon a hidden room filled with ancient texts and trinkets from a parallel universe. As she touched a peculiar book, a blinding light enveloped her, transporting her to another realm. In this alternate universe, Amelia met the dashing Captain Alexander. He was a man of valor, who had fought bravely against tyranny and oppression in his world. Their eyes locked, and in that moment, they knew their hearts were destined for each other. Despite the odds stacked against them, they found solace and comfort in one another's presence. As their love blossomed, so did the conflicts between their worlds. The line between realities began to blur, and with it, the balance of power shifted. Amelia and Alexander realized that their love had the potential to save both worlds or destroy them entirely. They were faced with a grave decision: could they put aside their personal feelings for the greater good? With heavy hearts, they chose to sacrifice themselves in order to restore the delicate balance between their worlds. As their worlds intertwined once more, their love transcended the boundaries of reality and left an indelible mark on history. Though Amelia and Alexander's tale ended tragically, their legacy lived on as a testament to the power of love and sacrifice. And so, two worlds were saved, forever bound by the memory of two souls who loved each other beyond time and space. In an alternate universe where parallel dimensions coexisted, Amelia and Alexander found themselves in a world vastly different from their own. The air was thick with magic, and the skies were painted with colors unknown to their original reality. It was in this enchanted land that they first met, bound by fate and destiny. Amelia's eyes widened as she gazed upon Alexander's ethereal beauty. He was a stranger from another world, but his presence felt strangely familiar. As their eyes locked, a spark ignited within them both, setting the stage for a love that would transcend time and space. ``` Amelia: "Are you lost? You look... out of place." Alexander: "I am from another world, and I have come to save mine." ``` Though their worlds were at stake, Amelia and Alexander could not deny the passion that bloomed between them. They spent every waking moment together, exploring the wonders of this new universe and sharing secrets long kept hidden in their hearts. As the days turned into weeks, the gravity of the situation became apparent. The conflicts in both worlds escalated, threatening to tear them apart. ``` Alexander: "We must prepare for battle, Amelia. Our worlds depend on it." Amelia: "But I don't want to lose you." Alexander: "As long as we're together, we can face anything." ``` Together, they fought side by side, their love a beacon of hope in the darkness. In the climactic moment, Alexander sacrificed himself to save both worlds, leaving Amelia heartbroken but with a lasting impact on society and history. In the epilogue, Amelia returned to her own world, forever changed by her love for Alexander. Their story echoed through time, a testament to the power of love and sacrifice. And though their worlds had moved on, the memory of their love would never fade, a reminder that even in the face of great adversity, true love could triumph. In an alternate universe, Amelia and Alexander met for the first time in a quaint little café, their eyes locking across the room. As they exchanged glances, a spark of connection ignited within them. "Have you been here long?" Alexander asked, his voice deep and calming. Amelia shook her head, "No, just arrived. It's my first time in this universe." She smiled, her eyes twinkling with curiosity. As they sipped their coffee, the conversation flowed effortlessly between them. They laughed at shared memories and discussed their lives in both worlds. They felt a strong connection, as if their love was destined to transcend time and space. "I feel like we've known each other for lifetimes," Amelia whispered, her eyes filled with emotion. Alexander nodded, "I agree. But let us cherish every moment we have together." Together, they faced the escalating conflicts between their worlds, their love growing stronger with each challenge they overcame. However, the time came when they had to make a choice that would change the course of history and affect both worlds. "We must sacrifice ourselves for the greater good," Alexander said firmly. Tears welled up in Amelia's eyes as she agreed, "If our love can transcend time and space, so too can our sacrifice." In that moment, their love transcended dimensions, leaving a lasting impact on society and the world. Though their lives were taken, their love lived on, echoing through the annals of history. In an alternate universe, Amelia and Alexander met for the first time in a bustling market square. The air was thick with anticipation as they locked eyes, and time seemed to stand still. With each passing moment, their connection grew stronger. ```scss Amelia: "Hello, I'm Amelia. It's nice to meet you." Alexander: "I'm Alexander. The pleasure is all mine." ``` Their conversations flowed effortlessly, as if they had known each other for a lifetime. As days turned into weeks, their love blossomed in the most extraordinary of ways. They explored parallel universes together and unraveled the mysteries of time and space. In one such universe, they discovered that an imminent catastrophe threatened both worlds. With heavy hearts, Amelia and Alexander made a selfless decision to sacrifice themselves to save their loved ones and the people of two realities. ```scss Amelia: "We have to do this, Alex. There's no other way." Alexander: "I'll always love you, Amelia. Forever and beyond." ``` As they embraced for the last time, a ripple effect of hope and determination spread across both worlds. Their love transcended time and space, leaving an indelible mark on history. The sacrifice of Amelia and Alexander became a beacon of hope and inspiration for generations to come. In an alternate universe, Amelia and Alexander's paths crossed at a bustling market square. The vibrant colors and lively chatter of the crowd created an inviting atmosphere. As they exchanged glances, a spark ignited between them, one that would change their lives forever. Amelia: (smiling) "I have never seen such beautiful fabrics! I wonder if they come from your world?" Alexander nodded, his eyes twinkling with excitement. Alexander: "Indeed, these are from my realm. I am on a mission to gather materials for a crucial project." His voice was filled with determination. Amelia: (whispering) "I can sense the importance of your work. Perhaps we could help each other in some way." Alexander raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her suggestion. Alexander: "What do you propose?" Amelia took a deep breath, knowing the gravity of her words. Amelia: "If our worlds are connected, perhaps there is a way to save both from a catastrophic event. We must find a solution together." Alexander's eyes widened, and he realized the magnitude of their task. Amelia and Alexander found themselves standing in an alternate universe, their eyes locked as they realized the gravity of their situation. The love that had blossomed between them transcended time and space, leaving a lasting impact on history. "We must make a tragic but necessary sacrifice," Amelia whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "If we don't, both worlds will be in danger." Alexander's eyes filled with tears as he agreed, "I can't bear the thought of losing you, but I understand the importance of our decision." In that moment, their love was tested like never before, and they knew they had to do whatever it took to save both worlds. They shared a final embrace, their hearts heavy with sadness as they prepared to face the consequences of their choice. With tears streaming down their faces, they looked into each other's eyes, knowing that their love would live on, even if they could no longer be together. As they took one last breath in each other's arms, Amelia and Alexander's sacrifice echoed through time and space, leaving an indelible mark on the course of history. Their love story would be remembered as a testament to the power of true love and the sacrifices that can be made for the greater good. Amelia and Alexander stood in an alternate universe, their eyes meeting across the crowded room. Time seemed to slow as they locked gazes, and they could feel the pull of destiny drawing them together. "Do you feel that?" Alexander asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Amelia nodded, her heart pounding with anticipation. "I can't explain it," she replied. "But I know we're meant to be together." They exchanged glances and began to move closer, as if pulled by an invisible force. As they got closer, the air around them crackled with energy, and a bright light enveloped them both. They could feel their connection growing stronger, transcending time and space. "We must make a choice," Amelia said, her voice trembling with emotion. "Our love is powerful, but it may cost us dearly." Alexander took her hand, his eyes full of determination. "Whatever the sacrifice, we'll face it together." In that moment, they made their decision, knowing it would change the course of history and both worlds forever. And as their love continued to grow stronger than ever, the impact of their choice left a lasting legacy in the annals of time. Amelia and Alexander found themselves standing in an alternate universe, their eyes meeting across the crowded room. The pull of destiny was undeniable as they grew closer, the air around them crackling with energy. "Hello," Alexander said softly, his voice filled with a sense of wonder and trepidation. "I'm Amelia," she replied, her voice matching his tone. They exchanged knowing smiles, their hearts racing. The bright light that had been enveloping them seemed to grow brighter, more intense. "We must make a choice," Amelia whispered, the gravity of the situation sinking in. "Whatever it takes, we'll do it together," Alexander promised, his hand reaching for hers. They knew their love would transcend time and space, but they also understood the necessary sacrifice that lay ahead. "The fate of both worlds rests in our hands," Amelia declared, her voice firm and resolute. Alexander nodded, his eyes filled with determination. "Let's change history together." And with that, they stepped forward into the blinding light, ready to face whatever awaited them on the other side. Amelia gazed out of the window, lost in her thoughts as she daydreamed about her favorite author's stories. Suddenly, a bright light filled the room and a man appeared before her. He introduced himself as Alexander, an author from another world. Together, they explored this alternate universe and their connection grew stronger with every moment. Amelia: "This place is so different from ours, yet it feels strangely familiar." Alexander: "Yes, our worlds are mirror images of each other in many ways. It's incredible how similar we are too." As they spent time together, the air around them crackled with energy. They shared their thoughts and feelings, knowing that their love could change both worlds forever. With heavy hearts, Amelia and Alexander decided to make a tragic but necessary sacrifice to save both worlds from destruction. As they embraced one another in a kiss filled with all the emotions they had experienced, a bright light enveloped them both. Their love transcended time and space, leaving an indelible mark on both worlds that would never be forgotten. In an alternate universe, Amelia and Alexander first laid eyes on each other at a crowded gathering. The room was filled with people from different worlds, but their eyes met across the sea of faces. A sudden stillness fell upon them as they realized that something extraordinary was about to happen. As Amelia stepped forward, she felt an electric charge in the air. "Hello," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. Alexander, stunned by her beauty, could only manage a nod in response. Their eyes locked, and time seemed to slow down. They knew, without a doubt, that their lives had changed forever. "We come from different worlds, Alexander," Amelia whispered, as if trying to understand the words herself. "But we are connected by a force greater than anything I've ever experienced." Alexander took her hand, and they felt a warmth spread through them, binding their hearts together. "Whatever happens, I will be with you," he promised, his voice filled with conviction. They knew that their love could bring peace to both worlds, or tear them apart. But they were willing to risk it all for the chance to be together. "We must make a choice, Alexander," Amelia said, her voice trembling. "Our love is powerful, but it might not be enough." They looked into each other's eyes, knowing that a sacrifice had to be made. "Let us give our lives for the worlds we love," Amelia whispered, tears streaming down her face. "Together," Alexander agreed, his voice strong despite his fears. And with that, they embraced, their love illuminating the darkness and changing the course of history forever. Amelia and Alexander stared at each other across the crowded room, both feeling an electric charge in their hearts as their eyes met. The room buzzed with energy, and they knew that something extraordinary was about to happen. "I've been looking for you," Amelia whispered, her voice barely audible above the cacophony of voices around them. Alexander nodded, his eyes locked on hers, and he took a step closer. "In another world, we met," he said, his voice low and full of emotion. "We fell in love." "And now we must make a choice that will change both our worlds forever," Amelia replied, tears welling up in her eyes as she realized the gravity of their situation. Alexander took her hand, and together they felt a warmth that defied time and space, binding them together despite the danger that loomed before them. "We must sacrifice ourselves for the greater good," Alexander said, his voice firm and resolute. "It's the only way to save both our worlds." Amelia nodded, her love for him stronger than ever, even as she knew what they had to do. They took a deep breath, their hands still clasped, and closed their eyes. As the bright light enveloped them, their love transcended time and space, leaving an indelible mark on both worlds. And though their bodies vanished, their love lived on, forever intertwined in the hearts of those who would come after them. Amelia stood in the dimly lit corner of the room, her eyes darting around nervously as she tried to blend in with the shadows. She had never been to another universe before, and the excitement was both exhilarating and terrifying. Alexander, on the other hand, seemed to be at ease, his confidence radiating like a warm embrace. As their eyes met across the crowded room, time seemed to slow down. Amelia felt her heart race, and Alexander couldn't help but smile. The air around them crackled with energy, as if the universe itself was aware of the connection forming between them. They exchanged glances and knew, without a word, that they were meant for each other. "Hey," Alexander said softly, making his way through the sea of people towards Amelia. "I'm Alexander. You must be Amelia." "Yes, I am," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "And you're Alexander?" He nodded. "In this universe, at least. It seems we've found each other for a reason." As they spoke, the bright light began to encircle them, growing stronger with every word. Amelia could feel the weight of their decision pressing down upon her, and she knew that it would change both worlds forever. Yet, in that moment, all she wanted was to be with Alexander, to feel his warmth and love as they faced whatever came next. "We must make a sacrifice," Amelia whispered, her voice wavering. "For our worlds." Alexander looked into her eyes, his own filled with love and sorrow. "Yes, we do. But our love will transcend time and space, Amelia. Forever." And so, hand in hand, they stepped into the light, ready to make the tragic but necessary sacrifice that would save both worlds. Amelia and Alexander stood hand in hand, gazes locked, feeling the electric connection between them. Their love was powerful enough to bridge the gap between their worlds. "I never imagined I'd meet someone like you," Amelia whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "We're from such different places, but our hearts seem to be in tune." Alexander nodded, feeling the same sense of wonder and awe. "It's as if fate itself brought us together, showing us that love knows no bounds." The air around them crackled with energy, a testament to the incredible bond they shared. They knew their love was something special, a force that transcended time and space. As they looked into each other's eyes, they could feel the weight of their decision pressing down upon them. "We can't let our worlds be torn apart by this connection," Amelia said softly, tears welling in her eyes. "We must make a sacrifice, for the greater good." Alexander nodded again, his own emotions churning within him. "Yes, we do it together, side by side. Our love will survive even beyond our physical presence." With one last look of pure love and longing, they stepped into the bright light that would take them away from each other. As the light enveloped them both, their hearts swelled with pride and courage, knowing that their love would endure forever, transcending the barriers of time and space. Amelia and Alexander found themselves standing in a quaint, cobblestoned square, bathed in sunlight. The air buzzed with an energy they both felt but couldn't quite comprehend. It was as if their worlds were somehow connected, yet separated by an invisible barrier. They exchanged glances, curiosity flickering in their eyes. "I can feel something... unusual," Amelia murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "Me too," Alexander replied, his voice filled with wonder and trepidation. "It's as if we're from two different worlds." "But isn't that impossible?" Amelia asked, a hint of disbelief coloring her voice. "Not impossible, just... unexpected," Alexander said, a knowing smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Sometimes, magic defies reason." As they spoke, their connection grew stronger, the electric spark between them becoming more palpable with each word. They began to share stories, laughter, and dreams, and with each moment, the bond between them deepened. It was as if they were two halves of a single soul, finally reunited after an eternity apart. "I can't believe we found each other," Amelia whispered, her eyes shining with emotion. "It feels like destiny." "And it is," Alexander agreed, his voice filled with conviction. "Our love is powerful enough to bridge the gap between our worlds." The air around them crackled, and the ground beneath their feet trembled. They looked into each other's eyes, understanding dawning in their hearts. With one final, electric touch, they knew their love would transcend time and space, and together, they chose to sacrifice themselves for the greater good. As the bright light enveloped them both, they whispered words of love and promise, knowing their story would live on, forever intertwined across the fabric of reality. In an alternate universe, Amelia and Alexander stood in a cobblestone square, bathed in warm sunlight. The air buzzed with an unusual energy that drew them closer. They exchanged stories, laughter, and dreams, as their connection deepened. "I feel like I've known you forever," Amelia said, looking into Alexander's eyes. "And yet, this could only happen in a world so different from ours," he replied, his voice filled with wonder. As they spoke, the bond between them grew stronger, and they began to understand that their love was powerful enough to bridge the gap between their worlds. They knew they had to make a choice: sacrifice themselves for the greater good or risk losing everything. Hand in hand, they decided to face the consequences together, knowing their love would transcend time and space. The air around them crackled with energy as a bright light enveloped them both. In that instant, they felt the weight of their choice, but also the certainty that their love would live on, forever intertwined across the fabric of reality. As Amelia and Alexander stared into each other's eyes, they couldn't deny the electric connection between them. "I never believed in love at first sight," Amelia confessed, her voice wavering with emotion. "But I can't deny that meeting you has changed everything for me." "And what about you, Alexander?" Amelia asked, desperate to know if he felt the same way. "Well," he replied, taking her hand in his, "I never believed in love either, but your warmth and kindness have shown me a side of myself I didn't know existed." As they stood there, hands entwined, they knew they were meant to be together. But their worlds were at stake, and the cost of their love was higher than they could ever imagine. "We must do something," Amelia said, tears welling in her eyes. "We can't let our worlds suffer because of our love." "But we can't just abandon each other either," Alexander added, his voice filled with determination. "There must be a way to save both our worlds and our love." Together, they searched for a solution, knowing that time was running out. Finally, they found it - a plan that would bridge the gap between their worlds and allow them to stay together. But it came at a tragic cost. As they stood hand in hand, surrounded by friends from both worlds, they took one last look into each other's eyes and knew their love was strong enough to transcend time and space. With one final kiss, a bright light enveloped them, and they were gone. In that moment, Amelia and Alexander understood that their love had made the ultimate sacrifice, saving both worlds from destruction. And though they were no longer together in this reality, they knew their love would never truly be apart. Amelia and Alexander stood in the middle of the alternate universe, their eyes locked in a deep connection. Alexander took the first step, "Amelia, our love transcends worlds. We must find a way to save both our realities." Amelia's voice trembled as she replied, "I agree, but I fear the cost may be too great for either of us." They searched for a solution, their hearts heavy with the burden of responsibility. Alexander suggested, "Perhaps if we combine our powers, we can find a way to bridge the gap between our worlds." Together they worked on a plan, their love for each other fueling their determination. As time wore on, they realized the only way to save both worlds was at a tragic cost. Amelia's eyes welled with tears as she whispered, "We must sacrifice ourselves to ensure the survival of both worlds." Alexander nodded in agreement, and together they embraced, knowing their love would forever transcend time and space. As the bright light enveloped them, their love shone brighter than ever, a testament to the power of two souls intertwined across reality. Amelia and Alexander found themselves standing in a dimly lit room, its walls lined with ancient books and scrolls. The air was heavy with the scent of decaying paper and forgotten secrets. As they turned to face each other, their eyes locked, and in that moment, they both knew something extraordinary had happened. They were no longer in their own worlds, but in a place where time and space seemed to have no meaning. Their initial shock and confusion quickly gave way to curiosity as they began to explore the mysterious room. As they turned the pages of ancient texts, they discovered fragments of information about each other's world, hints at the magic that bound them together. Amelia, a fierce warrior from a realm on the brink of destruction, had never imagined meeting someone like Alexander - a gentle scholar from a world so different from her own. Yet, as they shared stories and dreams, their connection grew stronger. In one corner of the room, they found an ancient mirror that seemed to hold the key to their worlds. As they gazed into its reflective surface, they saw glimpses of their lives - the battles Amelia had fought, the knowledge Alexander had amassed. They realized that the love blossoming between them was powerful enough to bridge the chasm separating their realities. In that moment, they made a solemn promise: to do whatever it took to save both of their worlds from destruction. They knew the cost would be immense, but as they embraced one another, they felt certain their love could transcend even the most impossible odds. With newfound determination, they set out on a journey that would lead them to face unimaginable challenges and make a tragic but necessary sacrifice. For in their hearts, they carried the knowledge that love, true and everlasting, was the one force capable of conquering any darkness. Amelia and Alexander, two strangers in a mysterious room filled with ancient books and scrolls, exchanged curious glances as they discovered an odd connection through fragments of information. They found an ancient mirror that revealed the power of their love and made a solemn promise to save both of their worlds from destruction at great cost. As Amelia and Alexander stood in front of the mirror, its surface shimmered with a strange glow, capturing their reflections. "Do you feel it?" Alexander asked, his voice barely above a whisper. "Feel what?" Amelia replied, her eyes wide with wonder. "This... connection," he pointed to their intertwined hands, which were reflected in the mirror. "I don't know how, but I can sense something powerful between us." Amelia looked at their hands, then back into the mirror. She felt a warmth, as if the mirror was an extension of their hearts, and it seemed to echo his sentiment. "Maybe... maybe we were destined to meet like this," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. Alexander nodded, his eyes filled with determination. "We have to find a way to save our worlds." As the seconds ticked by, Amelia and Alexander felt an increasing urgency to act. Their love, once just a fleeting thought in their lives, had now become a responsibility that transcended time and space. The mirror showed them both the beauty and the darkness of their worlds, the consequences of their actions echoing back at them like a haunting melody. They knew they needed to face the challenges head-on, to make the ultimate sacrifice for the greater good. With newfound resolve, Amelia and Alexander stepped away from the mirror and began their quest, their hearts bound together by the love that would guide them through unimaginable trials and tribulations. And as they faced the darkness, side by side, their love proved to be the one force capable of conquering any evil. Amelia and Alexander stood amidst towering bookshelves, their eyes wide with wonder as they surveyed the ancient scrolls and texts that surrounded them. As if drawn by an invisible force, they found themselves in front of a large wooden door adorned with intricate carvings. The door creaked open, revealing a dimly lit chamber. In the center of the room stood a massive mirror, framed by ornate gold and shimmering with a mysterious glow. As Amelia approached it, she felt an inexplicable connection to Alexander, as if their fates were intertwined. "This... this is unbelievable," whispered Alexander, his voice echoing through the chamber. "It feels like we've known each other for lifetimes," murmured Amelia, her eyes locked on the mirror's reflection. The two reached out and touched the mirror together, and in that instant, a vision of their worlds engulfed by darkness and chaos unfolded before them. Their hearts raced as they saw the devastation looming in both realms. "We must save our worlds," declared Alexander, his voice resolute. Amelia nodded, her eyes filled with determination. "But at what cost?" she asked, tears welling up in her eyes. Together, they made a solemn promise to do whatever it took to prevent the destruction of both their worlds. As they embarked on their journey, facing unspeakable challenges and making unbearable sacrifices, Amelia and Alexander's love grew stronger and more powerful. In the end, it was their unwavering devotion that vanquished the darkness and saved both realms from eternal doom. Their love transcended time and space, proving that even in the face of tragedy, true love can triumph. Amelia and Alexander found themselves standing in a room with towering bookshelves, each filled with ancient scrolls and texts from worlds unknown. As they explored further, they entered a dimly lit chamber where an enormous mirror adorned the far wall. Their eyes were drawn to it, and as they stepped closer, their fingers gently touched the mirror's surface. In that moment, the room seemed to shift, and a wave of emotions washed over them. Images of Amelia and Alexander in different settings flickered before their eyes, revealing their connection across dimensions. The ancient mirror revealed the power of their love - the ability to save both worlds from impending doom. With solemn promises exchanged, they vowed to face any challenges together, no matter the cost. As they navigated through treacherous landscapes and encountered monstrous creatures, Amelia and Alexander's bond grew stronger. They relied on each other for support and guidance in their quest to save both realms. However, as the darkness loomed closer, they realized that the only way to vanquish it was to make a tragic sacrifice - one that would forever change the course of history in both worlds. Hand in hand, Amelia and Alexander made the ultimate sacrifice. As the mirror shattered around them, their love illuminated the darkness, proving that even in the face of unimaginable loss, it was the one force capable of conquering any evil. And so, in a few brief moments, Amelia and Alexander's love transcended dimensions and time, forever altering the course of history for both worlds. Amelia and Alexander found themselves in a room with towering bookshelves filled with ancient scrolls and texts from unknown worlds. As they explored, they entered a dimly lit chamber where an enormous mirror adorned the far wall. Their fingers touched the mirror's surface, revealing their connection across dimensions. "How can this be?" Alexander exclaimed, his voice echoing through the room. "We've been brought together from two different worlds." The mirror displayed a swirling vortex of light that connected their realms. Amelia and Alexander learned of an impending catastrophe threatening both worlds. The only way to save them was to make a tragic sacrifice. "We must find the ancient artifacts hidden within these texts," Amelia said resolutely, her voice filled with determination. "Only then can we prevent the destruction of our realms." Together, they navigated through treacherous landscapes and faced monstrous creatures that guarded the artifacts. Their bond grew stronger as they relied on each other for support in their quest to save both worlds. "We're running out of time," Alexander whispered, his eyes filled with fear. "What if we can't do it?" "Together, we can face anything," Amelia replied, her voice steady and reassuring. "Our love will conquer any darkness." As they reached the final artifact, a choice had to be made. The mirror showed them how to shatter it, sealing the vortex and saving their worlds at the cost of their love. With tearful goodbyes, Amelia and Alexander's love illuminated the darkness, proving that it was capable of conquering any evil. In those final moments, their love transcended dimensions and time, forever altering the course of history for both worlds. Amelia and Alexander found themselves in an alternate universe, where they were drawn together by fate. The room they entered was filled with towering bookshelves of ancient scrolls and texts from unknown worlds. As they explored further, they discovered a dimly lit chamber with an enormous mirror adorning the far wall. Their fingers touched the mirror's surface, and they could feel their connection across dimensions. The mirror showed them how to save both realms but at the cost of a tragic sacrifice. They knew they had to make the ultimate choice for the greater good. As they navigated through treacherous landscapes and faced monstrous creatures, Amelia and Alexander's bond grew stronger. They relied on each other for support in their quest to save both worlds. "We can do this," Alexander said, his voice filled with determination. "We have to. For both of our worlds." "I'm scared, Alex," Amelia admitted, her eyes glistening with tears. "But I know we can make a difference together." Their love illuminated the darkness they faced, proving that it was capable of conquering any evil. In a final moment of courage, Amelia and Alexander shattered the mirror around them, sealing their fates. Their love transcended dimensions and time, forever altering the course of history for both worlds. They entered a dimly lit chamber where an enormous mirror adorned the far wall. Their fingers touched the mirror's surface, revealing their connection across dimensions. The mirror showed them how to save both realms but at the cost of a tragic sacrifice. "Amelia, look," Alexander whispered, his voice echoing in the chamber, "I think these texts hold the key to our salvation." "What do you suggest we do?" Amelia asked, her eyes scanning the ancient parchments. "We must find a way to harness the power of our love and use it to save both worlds," Alexander replied, his conviction clear in his voice. As they navigated through treacherous landscapes and faced monstrous creatures, Amelia and Alexander's bond grew stronger. They relied on each other for support in their quest to save both worlds. However, they must make an ultimate sacrifice, shattering the mirror around them. Their love illuminated the darkness, proving that it was capable of conquering any evil. In a few brief moments, Amelia and Alexander's love transcended dimensions and time, forever altering the course of history for both worlds. Amelia and Alexander found themselves in an alternate universe, where they first met in a mysterious room filled with ancient scrolls and texts from unknown worlds. The air was thick with the scent of dust and old knowledge, but it was not enough to dampen the excitement that coursed through their veins as they touched the mirror's surface. "Amelia," Alexander whispered, his voice barely audible above the hushed whispers of the ancient texts. "Is this...real?" he asked, a mixture of disbelief and wonder in his eyes. "I don't know," Amelia replied, her heart pounding in her chest as she stared at the mirror that showed their connection across dimensions. "But I think we're meant to be here for a reason." She reached out a hand towards Alexander, her fingers brushing against his. "We can do this together," she said, her voice filled with determination. As they navigated through treacherous landscapes and faced monstrous creatures, their bond grew stronger. They relied on each other for support in their quest to save both worlds, learning more about themselves and each other as they went. The mirror, a constant reminder of their connection and the power it held, guided them through every step of their journey. But when they finally discovered how to save both realms, it came with a tragic sacrifice: shattering the mirror around them. As the fragments fell and the darkness enveloped them once more, Amelia and Alexander's love illuminated the void, proving that it was capable of conquering any evil. In those brief moments, their love transcended dimensions and time, forever altering the course of history for both worlds. Their names would be whispered through the ages, a testament to the power of love and sacrifice. Amelia and Alexander found themselves in a room with towering bookshelves filled with ancient scrolls and texts from unknown worlds. They entered a dimly lit chamber where an enormous mirror adorned the far wall. As their fingers touched the mirror's surface, they realized they were connected across dimensions. "How did we end up here?" Alexander whispered, his voice echoing in the chamber. "I don't know," Amelia replied, her eyes wide with wonder. "But I feel a strange connection to you." The mirror showed them how to save both realms but at the cost of a tragic sacrifice. They navigated through treacherous landscapes and faced monstrous creatures. Their bond grew stronger as they relied on each other for support in their quest to save both worlds. "We have to do this, Alexander," Amelia said, her voice resolute. "Our love can conquer any darkness." As they shattered the mirror around them, their love illuminated the darkness, proving capable of conquering any evil. In a few brief moments, Amelia and Alexander's love transcended dimensions and time, forever altering the course of history for both worlds. In this alternate universe, Amelia and Alexander discovered their connection through fragments of information hidden within ancient books and scrolls. They found an ancient mirror revealing the power of their love and made a solemn promise to save both worlds at great cost. As they faced unimaginable challenges and made the ultimate sacrifice, their love proved capable of conquering any darkness. Amelia and Alexander found themselves in an alternate universe, where they were both drawn to a mysterious room filled with ancient books and scrolls. They began to notice strange connections between them as they stumbled upon fragments of information that seemed to be guiding their actions. As they delved deeper into the mysteries of the room, they discovered an ancient mirror that held the power of their love within it. The reflection in the mirror showed Amelia and Alexander standing together, united by a solemn promise to save both worlds from impending doom. They knew that their love was destined for greatness and would be tested by unimaginable challenges. Hand in hand, they embarked on a journey filled with peril and heartache, but they were undeterred. "We must find a way to save both worlds," Amelia whispered, her voice trembling with determination. Alexander nodded solemnly, his eyes filled with resolve. As they faced each trial, their love only grew stronger, casting away the darkness that threatened to consume them. "I'll never leave you, Amelia," Alexander promised, his voice filled with emotion. "We'll face whatever comes our way, together." Their love for one another was a beacon of hope in the face of despair, and it guided their every step as they continued to fight for the salvation of both worlds. "There must be a cost," Amelia said softly, realizing that no sacrifice could be too great for the worlds they sought to save. Alexander took her hand, his eyes meeting hers with unwavering devotion. "As long as we're together, nothing is impossible," he declared. And so, Amelia and Alexander prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice, their love proving capable of conquering even the darkest corners of existence. Amelia stood in the dimly lit room, her eyes tracing over the dusty shelves of ancient books and scrolls. The air was thick with a sense of history and untold secrets. She felt an inexplicable pull towards a particular section, where she spotted a leather-bound tome. As she reached for it, a gust of wind blew through the room, causing the door to creak open. "I wouldn't go in there if I were you," said a voice from behind her. Amelia spun around to see a tall figure in tattered robes, his eyes filled with an intense determination. "That room is not safe." Alexander stepped forward, the air of mystery surrounding him only adding to his allure. He extended a hand towards Amelia, and she hesitated before taking it. As their hands touched, a wave of warmth and connection washed over them, causing them to gasp in surprise. "Who are you?" Amelia asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Alexander smiled gently, the corners of his eyes crinkling with amusement. "My name is Alexander, and I'm from another world." He pointed towards the room they had just left. "That mirror in there is a gateway between our worlds. I've been searching for someone who can help me save both realms." "How?" Amelia questioned, her heart pounding with anticipation. Alexander leaned closer, his eyes locking onto hers. "By understanding the power of love, and the sacrifices it demands," he whispered. "Together, we must make a choice that will change everything." As they spoke, the room around them seemed to come alive, echoing their words with an eerie intensity. They made a solemn promise to each other, pledging to do whatever it took to save both worlds. With their hearts intertwined, they stepped through the mirror's door, knowing that the journey ahead would be filled with love, loss, and unimaginable sacrifice. Amelia and Alexander stood in the dimly lit room, surrounded by ancient books and scrolls that seemed to hold secrets beyond comprehension. They both felt an undeniable connection as soon as their hands brushed against each other. "I'm Alexander," he said softly, his voice filled with wonder and a hint of sadness. "I'm from another world, and I have come here to find someone - someone who can help me save my world." Amelia's eyes widened in surprise. "Another world? But how is that even possible?" she asked, her voice trembling with disbelief and excitement. "It's through the power of love," Alexander replied, his gaze never leaving hers. "In our world, love has the ability to conquer all darkness. But we need someone like you, someone who can understand the true essence of love." Together, they searched through the ancient texts and scrolls, trying to uncover the secrets that would allow them to save both their worlds. As they delved deeper into the mysteries of love and sacrifice, Amelia and Alexander found themselves drawn closer together. "We must make a solemn promise," Alexander whispered, his voice filled with determination. "To save both our worlds, we will face unimaginable challenges and make sacrifices that may cost us everything." Amelia nodded, her heart swelling with love for this stranger from another world. "I promise," she vowed, taking his hand once more. Together, they would embark on a journey filled with peril and heartache, but their love would prove stronger than any darkness. And through their unwavering dedication to each other, they would save both worlds from the brink of destruction. Amelia's eyes widened as she took in the sight of the mysterious room, its walls lined with ancient books and scrolls. A shiver ran down her spine, as if she could feel the weight of centuries past. Alexander stood before her, his eyes filled with a mixture of anticipation and sadness. "My name is Alexander," he began, taking her hand in his gently. "I come from another world, one that's on the brink of destruction. Our realms are connected through these ancient texts, and our touch has revealed a powerful bond between us." Amelia stared at their intertwined hands, feeling a strange sense of familiarity. "I don't understand," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "How can we save two worlds?" Alexander smiled softly. "By understanding the power of love and making sacrifices for each other. In our worlds, darkness threatens to consume everything, but together, we can face any challenge." As they stood there, Amelia felt a warmth growing within her, an inexplicable connection with Alexander that seemed to transcend time and space. The two of them knew they had to do whatever it took to save their realms, even if it meant making the ultimate sacrifice. With every passing moment, their love grew stronger, and they vowed to conquer any darkness that stood between them and their mission. "We'll face these challenges together," Amelia promised, her voice filled with newfound determination. "No matter what, we won't let anything stand in our way." Together, Amelia and Alexander stepped into the unknown, hand in hand, ready to face any challenge that awaited them. They knew their love was a force to be reckoned with, and they were prepared to make any sacrifice necessary to save both worlds. As Amelia and Alexander stood amidst the dusty shelves of the mysterious room, their fingers gently brushed against each other as they reached for different books. An electric current passed between them, and in that instant, they both knew something extraordinary was happening. "I'm not from this world," Alexander whispered softly, his voice carrying a hint of sadness. "I come from another place, one that's been torn apart by darkness." Amelia gazed at him, her eyes filled with curiosity and wonder. "What brings you here?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper. "Love," Alexander replied, his gaze locking with hers. "I was sent here to find love, so that I might understand the power it holds and bring hope back to my world." Together, they embarked on a journey through both realms, facing impossible challenges and overcoming unimaginable odds. They fought side by side against creatures of darkness, and in each other, found strength they never knew they possessed. As the stakes grew higher, so did their love, and they became inseparable. In the end, it was their love that would prove to be the most powerful weapon against the forces of darkness. Amelia and Alexander made a tragic but necessary sacrifice, giving everything they had to save both worlds. Their love, eternal and unyielding, conquered the darkness once and for all, proving that even in the face of unimaginable loss, the power of love is never truly extinguished. In a realm where time and space blended into an ethereal tapestry, Amelia stood in awe of the ancient room filled with books and scrolls. The air was thick with the scent of wisdom, as if each piece of parchment held secrets waiting to be unraveled. Her fingers grazed the spine of a dusty tome when suddenly, the air around her shifted, and an inexplicable warmth spread through her veins. From the shadows emerged Alexander, his eyes filled with a quiet intensity. "Amelia," he whispered, his voice echoing through the room. "I've been waiting for you." Their fingers touched, and a jolt of energy zipped through them both, binding their souls in a connection neither could have anticipated. Alexander reached out, placing a hand gently on Amelia's cheek. "I am from another world," he confessed, his voice full of sorrow. "But we can save both our realms if we understand the power of love and make sacrifices for each other." Their gazes locked, and in that moment, they knew it was true. "We must leave this place now," Alexander said urgently, taking her hand once more. As they stepped through a hidden doorway, Amelia could feel the weight of their combined destinies bearing down on them. Together, they would face unimaginable challenges, their love growing stronger with each trial. In the end, it was their love that saved both worlds, for when they were faced with the ultimate sacrifice, neither could bear to see the other suffer alone. Hand in hand, they stepped into the void and embraced the darkness together. And as the last echoes of their love faded away, a new light emerged, promising hope and healing for all who would come after them. As Amelia entered the mysterious room, she was instantly captivated by the ancient books and scrolls that filled the space. She hesitated before stepping inside, her curiosity getting the better of her. With a deep breath, she ventured in and began exploring the dusty tomes. It wasn't long before she noticed a figure sitting in the corner, engrossed in one of the ancient manuscripts. As she drew closer, her heart raced with anticipation. "Hello," Amelia said softly, trying not to startle the stranger. To her surprise, he looked up and smiled warmly at her. "I didn't mean to disturb you," she added, feeling slightly embarrassed by her intrusion. "Not at all," he replied, closing the book and standing up. "My name is Alexander, and I have been searching for this room for quite some time." His voice was soothing and gentle, making Amelia feel instantly at ease. They shared a brief moment of silence before curiosity got the better of them both. "Are you from around here?" Amelia asked hesitantly, still trying to comprehend the mysterious nature of their surroundings. Alexander shook his head, his eyes filled with sadness and longing. "I'm from another world," he confessed. "But don't worry, we have a common goal." Amelia couldn't help but feel intrigued by this enigmatic stranger. As they began to explore the room together, their hands brushed against each other, and a sudden connection sparked between them. They both felt it – an inexplicable bond that seemed to transcend time and space. "We must save both our worlds," Alexander declared, his eyes filled with determination. "Together, we will understand the power of love and make the necessary sacrifices." Amelia nodded, her heart swelling with newfound purpose. They knew that their love would be tested, but they also knew it was strong enough to conquer any darkness. In an alternate universe, Amelia and Alexander stood in a mysterious room filled with ancient books and scrolls. The air was thick with magic, and the atmosphere was eerie yet enchanting. As they explored, their fingers accidentally brushed against each other, sending a jolt of electricity through their bodies. Their eyes met, and in that instant, they knew something extraordinary had occurred. Amelia: "Are you... from another world?" she asked hesitantly, her voice barely above a whisper. Alexander nodded solemnly. "Yes," he replied, his voice strong and confident. "And I'm here to save my world, just as you are trying to save yours." Amelia: "What must we do?" she inquired, her curiosity piqued despite the gravity of their situation. Alexander: "We must understand the power of love," he explained, his gaze locked onto hers. "Only by embracing love and making sacrifices can we save both our worlds." Together, they embarked on a perilous journey, facing unimaginable challenges that tested their resolve and love for one another. As they overcame each obstacle, their bond only grew stronger. The time came when they had to make the ultimate sacrifice: Alexander would return to his world to save it from darkness, while Amelia remained in her world, forever separated from her true love. In that moment, as they said their tearful goodbyes, their love transcended distance and time. It was a testament to the power of love and sacrifice, proving that even the darkest forces could be conquered by the strength of two hearts united. In a world of mystery and enchantment, Amelia found herself surrounded by ancient books and scrolls, each holding secrets waiting to be unraveled. As she delved deeper into the room, her fingers traced the worn edges of these artifacts, seeking answers that had long been forgotten. It was in this moment of quiet contemplation that she felt a gentle touch on her hand, and her world shifted forever. "Amelia," a voice whispered, causing her to start in surprise. She looked up to find Alexander, his eyes filled with an otherworldly glow. "I am from another realm, and I have been drawn here by our connection." He took her hand, and their fingers intertwined as if destiny had led them there. "Alexander," Amelia breathed, feeling a warmth in her heart she had never known before. "How is this possible?" "Love transcends the boundaries of worlds, Amelia," he replied with a smile. "Together, we can save both our realms by understanding the power of love and making sacrifices." As they embarked on their quest, Amelia and Alexander faced unimaginable challenges that tested the strength of their bond. They stood against dark forces, navigated treacherous landscapes, and encountered creatures both terrifying and awe-inspiring. Through it all, their love grew stronger, illuminating even the darkest corners of the alternate universe. Finally, they came face to face with the ultimate choice – to save one world or the other. With tears in their eyes and hearts heavy with sorrow, they made the decision that would change everything. In a final act of love and sacrifice, Amelia and Alexander sealed the fates of both worlds forever. And though their journey ended, their love echoed through the realms, proving that love could conquer any darkness. Amelia and Alexander found themselves in a mysterious room, the air thick with an unfamiliar energy. Ancient books and scrolls lined the walls, and dust particles danced in the sunlight that streamed through the stained glass windows. As they turned a page on one of the dusty tomes, their fingers touched, sending a shock of electricity through them both. Their eyes locked, and in that moment, they knew something extraordinary had occurred. "Hello," Alexander said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm from another world." Amelia looked at him, her heart pounding in her chest. "And you... are not from here?" She asked, her voice wavering. "Yes," he replied, the corners of his mouth turning up into a faint smile. "I found this room while exploring, and it led me to you." Amelia's eyes widened as she realized the significance of their connection. "We must save both our worlds," Alexander continued, his voice filled with determination. "Love can conquer any darkness, but only if we understand its power and are willing to make sacrifices." As they stood there, hand in hand, they felt the weight of their responsibility. Together, they embarked on a journey that would test the limits of their love and the strength of their bond. They faced unimaginable challenges, but through it all, their love never wavered. In the end, they made the ultimate sacrifice, proving that love truly can conquer any darkness. And in doing so, they saved both worlds from certain doom.

I love this art and the myth. I always wanted to write a story inspired by Pandora's box, where the ever-curious 'Pandora' MC accidentally opens a cursed box after slicing her finger on its lock, a lock that can only be opened with blood. It releases an evil, vengeful, supernatural being into the world who was locked away centuries earlier. Opening the box also grants her a special, magical ability. The one who released the demon is the only one who can seal him away again, otherwise the only way to trap him back inside his prison is if the one who released him willingly locks themselves away inside it, too. Which means he has to protect her from guardians who are trying to convince her to do just that, if all else fails. Meanwhile he hates all of humanity but finds himself increasingly drawn to her the more they encounter each other. Enemies to lovers and it ends with him willing to destroy the world to save her/himself, but in the end when she calls to him to save her and he goes to her, she betrays him even though she grew to love him, and locks him away in order to save the world. The last look they share, his eyes are full of the pain of knowing love/hope was his undoing, the same gift of love/hope the box gave to Pandora. Or maybe she sacrifices herself and locks them both away, it's an angsty tragic ending because I can't write anything without piling on the angst. I really wish I had time to write all these original plot bunnies.

Reasons to renew Fantastic Beasts
The franchise’s future is uncertain, we can only hope for the making of a fourth and a fifth movie. While Fantastic Beasts 3 could end the franchise without the fans being frustrated over the ending, I feel like there’s still so much to see, so much to discover, so much of the story to tell. This post has no ambition of trying to convince WB to give Fantastic Beasts a chance, though I would very like them to do so, this is just something I wanted to do for a while.
You are free to add more to the list!
The summer of 1899
We need to see flashbacks of the summer of 1899. What the HP canon and Dumbledore told us in FB is so little to what actually happened. We need to see Albus and Gellert's first meeting. How they befriended each other because they're two solitary genius sharing the same ideology (more or less) and the same interest for the Hallows. We need to see them falling in love with each other, maybe sharing their first kiss (one can dream) and how it fell apart, how they drifted ways. I need to see Albus feeling trapped and frustrated in his own home until he finally met the one who completed him and understood him the most. I need to see how the Dumbledore siblings had to live on their own, the Dumbledore brothers having to take care of themselves and parent an unstable younger girl, without adults being around. We need to see Aberforth distrusting Gellert and how Albus neglected his family for Gellert. We need to see the three ways duel that resulted in Ariana's death and Gellert's departure
Gellert’s past
We also need to see flashbacks of Albus and Gellert before they met each other. We know next to nothing about Gellert's past. Who was he really? Where did he come from? Did he come from a pureblood family and raised with supremacist ideals? What did his parents think of him getting expelled from school? Mads Mikkelsen believe something happened to Gellert while he was young, or his family. Was it true? If so, were Muggles implied in this, thus explaining his hate for Muggles (it would also be a reason why Albus and he bonded, something tragic happened to them or their family because of Muggles). What were exactly Gellert's experiments so Durmstrang, a school reputed for its practice of dark magic, expelled him? How did he came to learn about the Hallows? Was Nurembarg a family castle or was it something he build for his quest?
Albus’s past
It would also be interesting to see the Dumbledore family before and after Ariana's attack, how it shaped Albus to be the young man he grew up to be when meeting Gellert, how he felt the status of secrecy prevented his family to have justice for what happened to Ariana. How he cared for his sister yet felt him having to take care of her after Kendra's death would mean having to sacrifice his brilliant future. How he came to have that ideology of controlling Muggles for the greater good and breaking the status of secrecy.
The 1945 duel
To see the 1945 in CGI (is that the right word?). The duel lasted three hours, what could possibly happened during that time? What led to that duel? Did Gellert surrender like Rita Skeeter suggested? Why? Was love the reason why Gellert lost the fight? We may get flashbacks during that duel, Albus and Gellert remembering their past together as they fight each other. Could you only imagine the moment where Albus won the Elder Wand? How Albus fought to have Gellert alive and imprisoned, rather than killed? Did they share a goodbye kiss? There are so many possibilities!
Newt and Tina
We know Newt and Tina end up getting married... how did they get there? Would we see the wedding? The long awaited kiss?
Jacob and Queenie
We need to see more of Jacob and Queenie's story. Their story isn't finished just because they got back together and got married. Will Jacob take part in WW2 or will he help during the war against Grindelwald? What about Queenie who betrayed Grindelwald and his followers and left them to join Jacob and Dumbledore's side? Won't Grindelwald and his followers try to get revenge? Not to mention, Queenie may have been able to read Grindelwald's thoughts. As skilled as he is, he must have slipped something from time to time without him noticing, so what could have Queenie possibly seen? Something that may help defeating Grindelwald.
Grindelwald's rise to power.
He may have lost during FB 3, but this isn't over yet. We have yet to see more of his rise to power and his reign of terror. He was the greatest dark wizard until Voldemort, and Voldemort only was active in England, unlike Grindelwald. Also, his defeat in 1945 isn't a coincidence... (I just hope they won't make him a wizard Hitler). The war against Grindelwald was most probably tied to WW2. If so, how?
Dumbledore's plan and tactics to try and stop him.
Now that the blood pact is broken, how will Dumbledore move against him? The blood pact broke in 1927, yet Dumbledore only really defeated Grindelwald much later, in 1945. Maybe there were a sort of chess between the two of them, trying to twart the other without facing each other in a duel.
The other characters
Secondary and tertary characters still have room for development, such as Lally, Yusuf, Theseus, as well as Grindelwald's acolytes. It would be interesting to see a couple of them being more than just acolytes, like Vinda. We might also get other characters introduced, either new characters or characters from the Harry Potter series, such as Bathilda Bagshot (she introduced Gellert and Albus to each other, she’s Gellert’s aunt… what does she think of her nephew now? Have her and Albus stayed in contact?), Hagrid, Slughorn, etc.
Nagini
We need to know what happened to Nagini. She went with Newt and co at the end of FB2. She would be most probably anguished about Credence joining Grindelwald and then dying, and would be angry against Grindelwald and pure-blood wizards whom she saw as the enemy. If so, how come she came to meet and stay with Voldemort as his most faithful companion. Did she pity him because he was an orphan? How come she stayed stuck as a snake?
Tom Riddle
It would be interesting to see Tom Riddle. Maybe in a cameo as he read with fascination the news on Grindelwald's reign of terror, or maybe even reading about the chamber of secrets. The chamber was first opened during Grindelwal's reign. Could you even imagine Dumbledore's state of mind? Him busy with the war against his former lover and Hogwarts, a safe haven for him and his students, being threatened by the opening of the chamber, him suspecting Tom but knowing he has no proof.
The fantastic beasts
To see Teddy the Niffler and Pickett and discover new fantastic beasts, maybe some of them will take an active part in the story, a bigger role, like the Qilin did.
Tina and Queenie
Seeing the sisters having their much needed reunion. Yes, it was important for Jacob and Queenie to find each other, but could you imagine what the sister had been through, away from each other? Tina, the head of the AUROR, knowing her sister joined the enemy, being afraid she lost her sister forever and having another, more personal reason to fight Grindelwald

Jaune's Tragic Backstory (TM) AU
Ozpin loved stories. He had after all lived through countless ones and his impeccable memory, a side effect from what ever the Brothers did to him, made it impossible to forget. Thus even though he didn't know Cinder Emerald and Mercury personally he knew their stories well enough to know what they each wanted. Mercury was simple. He wanted to fight. To prove he was strong. Thus he gave him the opportunity to do so. Emerald was an abandoned child craving love and security. Thus he freely offered it to her. And Cinder? Well Cinder craved power above all else. Power to resist the chains of slavery he guessed. Thus he gave it to her. After all even if they had taken the maiden powers from Cinder, Amber would have still died. Her wounds, both spiritual and physical, were too deep. However, the only way Cinder would get the powers herself would be if she relinquished the Grimm Salem had used to steal them. And all he needed to tell her to make her trust him was just another story.
A Really Long Time Ago
Ozpin had seen it all. Ozpin had done it all. Ozpin had heard it all. Ozpin had felt it all. There was nothing in his centuries of existence that he had not encountered, experienced, or engaged. These three wayward souls were no different, as he had met many of their types before. And he would treat them no different.
Mercury: (Groans) How long have been here?! It feels like it's been days!
Ozpin: A day and a half, to be precise. And my, the stories you have missed.
Emerald: Um, is she involved in any of them?
Glynda: (Sobbing) My precious OTP... GOOOOOOONE!
Ozpin: ...In a manner of speaking, yes. But onward to the matter at hand. I see a potential in all of you, a great power, if you will, waiting to be unleashed. All you have to do is let me help you.
Emerald: So, you want us to turn our backs on our boss and work for you?
Ozpin: Not for. With. Together, we can rid the world of the scourge of Grimm, protect what we love most, and bring about a new age of peace and prosperity.
Mercury: Nice story, gramps, but it isn't that easy. Fighting monsters for other people? That ain't my style. I look out for only one person in this world-
Ozpin: Me.
Mercury: Huh?
Ozpin: Selfishness. Pride. Proving yourself greater than that of even the Brothers themselves. Yes, I know the type all too well.
Mercury: (Rolls his eyes)
Ozpin: But is that such a terrible thing? To seek one's own self-worth, regardless of who or what we sacrifice to attain it. After all, life is fleeting, and it is often our legacy that only speaks the truth of who we were. An arduous and horrid path ahead filled with monsters, blood, and corpses. Yes, his path was truly one of heartbreak, but it was so worth it to wear the title of Huntsman.
Mercury: I'm sorry, who the hell are you talking about?
Ozpin: Why, Jaune Arc, of course. Isn't it obvious?
Mercury: Okay, now I know you're screwing with me. Jaune Arc is still alive, but you're talking about him like he's dead.
Ozpin: (Chuckles) Did you really think he was the first Jaune Arc?
Cyril: This is Cyril Ian of CCT News, doing an exclusive, uh, fifteen minute interview view with Jaune Arc, who has been a media sensation as of late. Jaune, thank you again for agreeing to this.
Jaune: Well, I'm always happy to help the little guy. That's what Huntsmen do, right?
Cyril: Indeed they do! Now, let's first talk about what got you here, the argument with Jacques Schnee, CEO of the Schnee Dust Company. What exactly happened there?
Jaune: I'm not sure. To be honest, it was my first time at something that fancy. I had a friend introduce me to a friend, and then that friend introduced me to Mr. Schnee and his family. We just started talking about why Huntsmen exist, and that's kind of where our opinions started to not match up. I said humanity's biggest threat was the Grimm, and he said it was the White Fang.
Cyril: Do you sympathize with the White Fang? I mean, they are a terrorist organization.
Jaune: I don't agree with what the White Fang are now. I remember reading and discussing in my history class that the White Fsng were originally peaceful protestors. Then someone got violent, and people started listening to them. If what Faunus have to go through to be heard is another day at the office for you, then I can understand their frustration.
Emerald: There was another Jaune Arc?
Ozpin: Oh, yes. Long before the Mr. Arc we know, and Glynda sobs for, ever came into existence, there was the first Jaune Arc. He was the epitome of what a Huntsman should be; brave, loyal, just, kind, wise, and strong. Couldn't dance to save his skin, but was a fine fellow nonetheless. (Chuckles)
Emerald: What happened to him?
Ozpin: Well, if you're so interested, I'll tell you. The first Jaune Arc began his life as a meager kindler. He'd gather sticks, twigs, and branches for his hut, break them down, dried them, and sold them to any who sought warmth in th heir homes. It wasn't a glamorous life, but it was a comfortable one. Then the Beowolf came...
Cyril: Mhm. And are you against the use of Dust?
Jaune: Oh no, of course not! If you want to use it, use it! If you need to use it, use it! I was just explaining I never needed to learn to use Dust. My mom had a wood-burning stove, so that's how we cooked our meals. If we got cold, we would huddle in front of the fireplace. I didn't know about Dust until I was fourteen, and I accidentally set the forest on with lightning dust!
Cyril: And you still don't use Dust?
Jaune: Not for tools, no. I use a simple sword and shield as my weapon against the Grimm. No Dust enhancements yet.
Cyril: Yet?
Jaune: It's a big and scary world out there after the Academy. I might need to upgrade sometime there, but until then, I feel comfortable with my own power.
Cinder: This is all very fascinating information, but you're missing one crucial detail. I don't care about Jaune Arc, past or present. I want power, and I'll use any means to get it.
Ozpin: A shame. I thought you cared about Jaune's glistening thighs.
Cinder: Please, his biceps glisten. His thighs bulge. (Ozpin smirks) N-Not that I pay any attention to that sort of thing. All that matters is the ke- my nefarious plan.
Ozpin: Oh, and how do you intend to get this power?
Cinder: By taking it, as is my right!
Ozpin: What if I just give it to you?
Cinder: Huh?
Cyril: We're just about done here. Any final message to the viewers and listeners at home?
Jaune: Uh, okay, how about... Leap before you look! No, wait-!
Cyril: And that was my exclusive, fifteen minute interview with media buzz, Jaune Arc. This is Cyril Ian of CCT News, signing off!
Jaune: Look before you leap! Ugh! I should have just said think before you speak!
Cyril: Well, if it's any consolation, this interview will be a hit, so I doubt anyone will notice.
Jaune: Finally back.
Ruby: Hey, Jaune!
Jaune: What's up, Ruby?
Ruby: Leap before you look! (RWBY and NPR laugh at Jaune)
Cinder: And you'll just give it to me?
Ozpin: Yes. The process, of course, will require the removal of your Grimm parasite, meaning you will no longer be connected to Salem. You will be outcasted from her inner circle, forced to wander alone. Unless, of course, you join us.
Cinder: How long will I wait?
Ozpin: Give me 24 hours, and I will have the chambers ready for both extraction and transference.
Cinder: ...Finally. My glorious k-, I mean-
Ozpin: No, no. You're among friends now. You can say it.
Cinder: All according to keikaku.

for Izzy to survive ofmd and remain with the crew, with Ed, Stede needs to change.
(Izzy needs to change too, that goes without saying, but rn I'm talking about Stede)
Without Stede changing his ways re: Izzy, Izzy's fucking dead in the water.
Izzy's not going to be Ed's first choice once he and Stede reconcile. Once they kiss and make up, Stede is going to be Ed's priority and partner here, and we know he doesn't necessarily do well juggling two key priorities at once.
If Ed is forced to choose between Izzy and Stede, he'll choose Stede. He already has. He will continue to do so. I don't think Ed will make himself make that decision, he'll only do so if pushed. Izzy might try it, but I think he knows he'll lose. He's already lost.
Which leaves the power lying with Stede. Stede, who has hated Izzy from the moment they've met and has been very vocal about it. Stede, who has been largely kind and chivalrous to everyone else he meets, except for Iz. Stede, who has hurt the person Izzy cares for the most (who Izzy has hurt too, lbh).
If Stede wanted Izzy to leave, if he asked Ed to make it so, or to support him on that, I think Ed would. If Stede gave him an ultimatum, I think I know who Ed would choose. I don't know if Ed would make a stand. He hasn't in the past, not really, and with the shit Izzy's done to keep Ed and Stede apart (which instigates the shit that Ed and Stede do themselves that keep them apart) I don't know if Ed would fight to keep Izzy by his side.
Not knowing much of Ed and lzzy's past puts us at a disadvantage here, and maybe I'm doing Ed a disservice by saying that his loyalty, camaraderie and affection(?) for Izzy wouldn't heavily factor into the decision. I think we need Ed to develop into his self more, figure out who he is, what and who he wants in his life before he can make that kind of call. But within the framework here, between Ed and Stede, I can't see Ed fighting for Izzy to stay.
In part, Stede would be justified in asking Izzy to go. Izzy's done some shitty things, and despite his reasons being well-intentioned (in his mind) a lot of the time, he's a right bastard who's hurt Stede, Stede's crew, and hurt Ed. (Ed has hurt Izzy, too, they're all fucking hurting and hurting each other in turn).
But I'd honestly like to see some more exploration and depth to the Stede and Izzy dynamic. I'd like to see Stede sympathise/empathise/show some compassion, like I know he's capable of. He's so understanding of Ed's position in episode 6, and of Mary's position post-almost-stabbed-in-the-ear-hole and her motivations, imagine if we could see something similar with Iz.
It's probably why I'm desperately in love with the idea of Stede and Izzy teaming up (pit-fics, Izzy turning to Stede for help to tame the Kraken in post-canon fics) because it lays the foundation for the pair of them to begin to understand each other. I want Stede to see Izzy's devotion, his competency, his hurt. I want Izzy to see Stede as capable, and maybe for Stede to actually learn why the pair of them act Like This, when there was literally no precedent.
The thing is though, Stede doesn't need Izzy to understand him to survive; he's got all this plot armour, he's thriving in the Muppet rom-com genre, he's literally the fucking main character.
Izzy needs to be understood, otherwise he's a narrative loose end that needs to be trimmed. And ultimately, the story isn't about him. It's about the guy he's in love with and the Muppet that guy is in love with. The guy Izzy's in love with and the guy that hates his guts more than anyone else in his little world.
I genuinely don't mind if, by the laws of the narrative, Izzy has to leave or die for a good story to be forged here. But what I don't want is for Izzy to die in some morality play style where his punishment for his actions is death, neat and tidy, and the heroes dance and sing about it. And I don't want Izzy to die like a tragic loyal dog, bleeding out as a sacrifice to the rom-com gods to keep Ed and Stede blissfully happy.
I don't want his unrequited love to be the death of him.
And I think Stede is key to avoiding that happening. He can't fix Izzy, can't make the whole world right. But I think if he and Izzy can find something between them that isn't hatred, Izzy might be alright.
All of this is to say that I think while Izzy has a lot of emotional ground to make up if he wants to survive ofmd, and maybe even be happy doing so, I think he's also reliant on Stede's growth, or rather Stede's compassion extending to him to make it so.
