cang qiong dragon god shen yuan is probably like so old that time doesn’t have meaning? like he transmigrated into pidw as a dragon and and the system gave him a few missions that functionally amounted to ‘claim this mountain range as your territory and defend it from demons’
sy didn’t realize that he was actually laying the foundation for cang qiong mountain sect before its creation. some terrifying demon demigod (one of the first heavenly demons, maybe?) pursues a band of cultivators to his mountain range, and he protects them. they settle his mountains and start cultivating, and because they’re protected by a literal god (who they call lord canglong, and they name the mountains after him) people want to study there.
so cqms is born, and sy takes a nap. when he wakes up, those cultivators he saved bring another group of cultivators, all named 'wen' to his mountain, and they ask his permission to lead the peaks next. another nap, and he wakes up to the wen generation asking his blessing for the ming generation, so on and so forth up until the qing generation. this time he recognizes names: qingge, qingfang, qingqi. this generation's leader, qingyuan. and the one whose bow is shallow and perfunctory, qingqiu. ofc sy isn't super pressed about standing on ceremony or whatever—he's only experienced like six years in this world, and most of them were spent either establishing the mountain as his territory or helping his little cultivators fight off some world-ending cataclysm or other. but he remembers the scum villain’s name, and he’s not a huge fan of the way sqq’s already proving himself to be an arrogant old shit
just like every other time, after he’s met and blessed this generation of peak lords, shen yuan falls asleep. shit!!! he meant to stay awake this time, but the system putting him to sleep is just too powerful! he’s probably missed luo binghe, damnit!!! what’s the point of transmigrating into this shitty novel if he doesn’t even get to meet the only character worth the pixels it took to type him into existence??
but as soon as he sees that fluffy-haired boy curled up in one of his caves, bruised and weeping and wondering what he’s done to be so universally hated, shen yuan knows. that’s his protagonist, and he’s really too pathetic like this. he’s really just a child. and shen yuan might have been easily annoyed by the concept of kids in his first life, but this isn’t just some whiny kid. this is the protagonist. so he does his best to calm tiny lord luo down.
and at first when lbh realizes it’s the fucking dragon god canglong speaking to him, the poor kid falls on his face kowtowing and apologizing for the intrusion, but lord canglong just…asks him what’s wrong. and then listens. and then he allows binghe to…to touch his hand???? not only that, he pats binghe’s head?? and tells him it isn’t his fault??? that one little head-pat is filled with so much spiritual power that binghe almost passes out, and soon after he recovers, lord canglong sends him back down the mountain with a renewed sense of purpose. lord canglong said binghe wasn’t stupid, wasn’t incompetent, wasn’t a failure, and binghe was determined to prove himself worthy of the sect’s guardian deity’s kindness.
and when luo binghe turns to walk down the mountain back to qing jing peak, that google translate voice pipes up in shen yuan’s ear with an update he hadn’t realized he was waiting for.
[Congratulations! Congratulations! Congratulations! Important things must be said three times! USER_002 has completed the quest {From the Ground Up}! B-points +500 USER_002 has initiated the quest {Master of Masters}! New skill [Shapeshifter] has been unlocked! Would USER_002 like to activate [Shapeshifter] now?]
shen yuan slammed the bright glowing [YES] faster than any quest the system had ever given him. that’s how he learned that he was, in fact, just naked in front of luo binghe, and the [Shapeshifter] skill didn’t come with an auto-clothed setting. thank fuck he’d already sent the protagonist away!

"Danny was born a Wayne" AU except he's Bruce's grand uncle. The result of a one time drunken affair, shortly before Kenneth Wayne's death, to a young unmarried woman who gave the baby up for adoption.
(Whether the Fenton's, and therefore Amity, were just ahead of their times or the DC timeline is shifted a bit so that DP happens in its cannon era is up to you. Dealers choice, though now that i know about her i just love badass widowed prohibition leader Laura Elizabeth Wayne)
Danny grows up knowing hes adopted and loved by the Fentons but something (dealer's choice) happens and he loses his family and friends (maybe the whole town goes too?). In an attempt to avoid a Dan situation he flees into the Infinite Realm and doesn't stop.
He just wanders, time passes in its weird Realms way, not that Danny truly notices. A protector spirit thats lossed everything it protected. Its a wonder he doesn't fade and he actually might've if it wasn't for his human side.
But its a tug at his core that brings him from his near catatonic wandering. Gone before he can even understand it but enough to shake him back to himself. Enough to know that hes nowhere near ready to go anywhere familiar so he continues on, his wandering no less pointless but at least he's aware again.
What feels like a relatively short time later he gets another tug, and this time he manages to follow it.
He follows it invisibly through a natural portal that drops him somewhere in New Jersey and all the way to a fancy hospital room in the gloomiest city he's ever seen.
In there he sees his half brother Patrick Wayne, though he wont figure out their connection for a few more years, holding little Agatha. She's adorable in her little dress and pigtails and her sweet face causes that familiar tug he recognizes from what must have been six years ago given the girls age.
Then a nurse comes in and hands a little bundle to what must be the mother (whos name i cant find) and Danny takes one look at the little core tugger who brought him here and just melts. Even without knowing yet that this is his last remaining family, his instincts latch on and he vows to protect and care for the Waynes.
And he does.
He finds his forgetful brother's documents and keeps Aggy company when everyone else is busy and soothes baby Thomas so his poor sister-in-law can get some more sleep. He ices fevers and bruised knees and helps on later games of hide and seek.
He very rarely becomes visible and only to the children. His grief over the Fenton's convinces him its better to protect his new family from the shadows.
Danny explores every inch of the manor, including secret passages and an underground cave system. He claims a forgotten room in the back of the attic as his own, which over the years fill up with knickknacks, heirlooms, and pictures of the family. Even a gift or two from Agatha, who hadn't stopped believing in their shadowy guardian like her brother did when Danny felt they were too old to see him without drawing suspicion.
The manor becomes his haunt and he always knows where each family member is within it. And when any guests have some no good intentions.
And when baby Bruce is born tugging at his core and with the bluest little eyes, he welcomes the fussy little thing. And makes sure dear Martha never knows just how fussy baby Bruce really is, otherwise she might've never had a full nights sleep.
Danny blames himself for not being there when Thomas and Martha die, and promises to never leave Bruces side, practically becoming the boy's living shadow. Watching over him as he gets older, secretly aiding him in his training. Danny feels a bit of pride when Bruce takes some inspiration from the old stories Thomas told him of the shadowy Wayne family protector when creating his Batman identity, glad his nephew still remembers him even if he hasn't shown himself since the now young man was six.
Danny continues to protect and care for the family in a variety of ways over the years even as the family grows.
Lightening Alfred's workload, softening Dick's falls, calming Jason's temper both pre and post pit, hiding Tim's coffee when the boy hasn't slept in far too long, providing plenty of shadows and hiding nooks for Cass, helping Damian hide the litter of kittens he found.
And no one seems to know he's there, except maybe Cass and he's pretty sure Alfred has been know since he first started working for the family. No one knows, that is, until Duke Thomas moves in and lookes right at him watching invisibly from the sidelines.
(@omnicrafts @dcxdpdabbles @hdgnj @ailithnight @nelkcats @im-totally-not-an-alien-2 i dont know, the main point of all this is that Danny's been protecting the Wayne family for decades and no one, except maybe Alfred, knew until Duke moved in)

Closeup plus basic notes of the lamb's room from my Starfall comic! Anthea's got a room in the attic of the temple
Also extra notes! Placing under Read More just to keep things tidy
The One Who Waits Alter
Anthea started worshipping TOWW shortly after entering Ratau's care. The rat hadn't exactly planned on telling his freshly orphaned, somewhat traumatized ward that their new guardian was previously a cult leader, but Anthea discovered some of his old books on the lost 5th Bishop of Death one day and Ratau was left little choice but to explain. The book was an exact copy of an extremely old, likely from right before Narinder was imprisoned, text that depicted the god of death as a kind, patient being, which for the lamb whose family had died in the most violent way possible quickly became a comfort. It contrasted Ratau's own memories of a somewhat more reserved, stern god, but since it made Anthea happier he decided to let it be. Anthea hasn't missed a nightly prayer ever since, and still does it before bed despite now having direct access to the god himself. The layout was one they read from that old book, which stated that a pentagram wreath was to hang between an evenly divided four candles. Unwritten however was the reasoning-the center was Death, and on either side his siblings who ruled over Life. They were meant to be lit in honor of the siblings who took care of the mortals Narinder would eventually receive after death.
Stars and Starmap
Back when he was still alive the lamb's father, Aries, would take Anthea with him on supply runs knowing they didn't get much one on one time otherwise with their younger siblings around. They'd sometimes be out overnight so the two would go stargazing, and its something the lamb still holds dear. Their original copy of the book, 'A Story of Stars' was one of his last gifts to them which even while he was alive Anthea was super careful with it since books are hard to get, but their brothers kinda colored all over it while Anthea was out gathering supplies shortly after his death one time. The lamb played it off and shared with them after as a 'oh they're little and just miss dad its ok' type of thing, but it was kinda reluctantly, with them being secretly upset about it whenever they saw scribbles all over their favorite illustrations while reading to the kids. It burned with their old life, and now Anthea would give anything to have those scribbled pages back.
Sleep Potions and Herbs
The lamb suffers from sleep problems and often brews their own remedies. They know not to take them often since they're kinda really strong-like once they kick in they literally just pass out, but they keep them around for when nightmares get bad. They know a few other remedies from Flinky, since he used to double as both Ratau's right hand and cult medic. Antidotes, pain tonics, basic essentials for when you don't have a doctor.
The Crown
Gonna make a silly doodle comic but after an uh...awkward incident with Narinder calling the lamb while they were dressing one morning the two made a deal in regards to his being able to see through the crown-if the crown is off and facing a wall it means the lamb needs privacy and he's to try again later or until they call back unless told otherwise. Look he may be a bit of a grumpy god but Shamura raised at least one brother to be a gentleman lol
Hope Chest
In sheep culture weaving/knitting with wool was a huge thing, especially for ewes, like most learned from the time they could walk from their mothers. After coming of age most would start keeping a chest they'd gradually fill with handmade linens, blankets, ect. for their future homes after marriage, and it was something Ratau encouraged Anthea to do since he didn't want them to just drop their culture. They still got a loom over at his place since it's hard to move, though they do have knitting needles in the chest.
Books
Books are somewhat hard to come by if you're not in one of the Bishops' cults where they have scribes so Anthea tends to collect any and all they find
Ratau's Family Crest
Given to the lamb on their 18th birthday. Rats have family crests tattooed onto their foreheads at 18, and since he'd essentially adopted Anthea Ratau thought it was fitting to give them something similar but not permanent. It fell off during their execution, but they made sure to go back and grab it after downing the heretics that attacked after resurrection. They still wear it now under their tunic

Silent Protector
Pairing: Changbin x Reader
Word count: 3,050
Content warnings: Fluff, violence
Summary: A new motorcycle gang comes and takes up residence in your small sleepy hometown. When you realize that they aren’t there to cause any harm and ruckus for the town but actually help aid and protect the town, will you be able to break through to the gang leader Changbin?
Tumblr media
The soft sound of the twinkling bells over the door ringing out has you sighing tiredly as you push off from the small table in the staff back room. It’s lunch time and today the small diner that you work at has been extremely busy keeping you up and running on your feet for the past few hours as people have come and gone for lunch. Taking a deep breath in through your nose you smooth down your little stained apron and plaster on a wide happy smile onto your face as you push open the saloon doors to walk out to the podium.
You tilt your head up from your apron and falter as you spot him. Seo Changbin, the leader of the local motorcycle gang stands at the podium dressed in his worn leather jacket, black tank top underneath and worn butter soft blue jeans with his black biker boots. He shifted slightly as you walked up to the podium and smiled brightly up at him, even though he was the shortest member of his motorcycle gang he was the most muscular one and commanded respect wherever he went.
Ever since he and his gang moved to town about a year ago they had turned the town upside down. At first everyone had been afraid to have a motorcycle gang invade the small sleepy town but soon they had shown that they were there to help the town instead of doing it harm. With the new motorcycle gang in residence crime had been down all because no one wanted to deal with the imposing intimidating motorcycle gang. They had become something like guardians of the town.
At first you had kept your distance from them, they had been a large silent force that intimidated you but soon you had gotten used to them once you had befriended some of the members. Not to mention because you worked in the only diner in town they would often frequent it for their meals and they had all gotten used to you and grown a sort of affection for you.
The other members had all tried one way or another to befriend you and had been able to worm their way into your lives in some capacity. They had shown you that they weren’t that scary or intimidating but Changbin had been the only one who had kept his distance and always had an air of silent intimidation. He was the only one that hadn’t warmed up to you and while it made you sad you respected his choice and gave him his space even though you would tease him gently. They were a rowdy bunch but they had good hearts and had shown that they were looking out for the small town that they had invaded with their loud bikes. They had even offered to give you a ride if you ever needed one but you had always declined, the bikes always scared you and made you flinch whenever you heard their loud rumbling engines coming down the road.
”Afternoon Changbin.” You greeted him softly and he nodded his head silently at you as his eyes took you in quickly making you self conscious of all the stains on your uniform from lunch rush. “Would you like your usual to go? Or would you like a booth?” You asked with a soft simple smile. His eyes darted behind you and you figured he would want a booth for him and his gang members who hadn’t arrived yet. “C’mon I’ll get your usual booths ready for you guys.” You told him as you collected eight menus and began walking towards the booths that were along the far wall of the diner. Ever since they all started coming to the diner that had become their spot and everyone had come to accept it by leaving those two booths open for them at all times.
You didn’t bother to look back at him because you knew he would follow you, he always did. Coming up to the booth where he normally sat you placed down four of the menus before turning and placing the rest of the menus on the other booth’s table. You smiled as you watched him squeeze himself into the booth before you pulled out your little pad and began to write down his usual order.
”Just the usual or do you wanna switch it up this time?” You asked in a soft teasing tone. He grunted quietly and you nodded your head as you wrote down his usual order. “Usual it is.” You said and began to move away when the bells above the door jingled once more causing you to look up and spot the rest of his gang clambering into the diner.
”Hey! Sweetheart!” Called out Felix happily as he quickly made his way to the booths where you stood and slid into the booth on the opposite side of the table from Changbin.
”What’ll you have Felix?” You asked him kindly just as the others made their way to the booths as well. Chan eased around you with a soft have to your shoulder and happy smile on his face before he slid into the booth next to Changbin. Hyunjin was next who pressed a quick kiss to your cheek before sliding in next to Felix. Minho came barreling up to you with a loud hop to stand in front of you with a mischievous grin on his face before he flicked your earlobe gently then slid into the booth haphazardly. Jisung gave you a quick all consuming hug before sliding in next to Minho. Seungmin was next with a quick squeeze to your hip and a soft smile before taking his spot on the inside of the booth. And finally Jeongin, the youngest of the gang, came rushing up to you with a slight pout on his face.
”They keep calling me baby.” He whined to you and you chuckled softly at him before ruffling his hair teasingly.
”You can be my baby if you want Innie.” You told him sweetly and watched delightedly as a blush overtook his face and he quickly rushed to sit next to Seungmin as the guys all laughed at him and cooed at him, making him duck his head.
”I’ll have my usual.” Felix finally answered you and you looked around both of the booths as the guys all nodded their heads in agreement before Minho pipped up and ordered a different dish stating that he was feeling adventurous today. You rolled your eyes at him and he grinned cheekily at you before winking.
You easily wrote down their orders and grabbed the menus from their tables before leaving them to talk amongst themselves. Relaying the orders to the cook you easily took care of the rest of your tables. that you were in charge of before slipping behind the long bar and helping Agnes out with her orders as well. While you were normally exhausted at the end of your shift, being busy always made the day go by quicker which you were thankful for.
Soon the cook was shouting that the guys’ orders were up and ready and you easily loaded up the serving tray with all their dishes before carefully weaving your way around the diner to deliver their food.
”Alright boys.” You greeted them to catch their attention since they were all busy talking to each other about something quietly. Changbin lifted his head and watched you quietly as Chan began to help you hand out the plates. When they were all handed out you beamed at Chan thankfully. “Thanks Chan, I should get you a job here.” You teased him sweetly and he chuckled at your joke before ducking his head swiftly. “Does anyone need anything else?” You asked as you looked around the two booths.
”Just you, sugar.” Hyunjin called out and you beamed at him before he yelped suddenly and grabbed his shin under the table. Your eyes darted from him to a scowling Changbin who had an angry look on his face. “Sorry sweetheart. Didn’t mean any disrespect.” Hyunjin apologized quickly and you shook your head at him waving your hand dismissively.
”No disrespect, you’re just a pretty flirt.” You teased him gently and he grinned at you proudly. “If you guys need anything just holler.” You told them before making your way back behind the bar to lean up against the counter top to ease the ache in your back from standing all day.
As you leaned there taking a rest your eyes wandered over to the two rowdy booths watching the men quietly as they all ate their food. Your eyes took in each one of them and your mind began to wonder and daydream about them and how they had come together, they were such a misfit group of men. You smiled softly as you watched Seungmin and Jeongin bicker and tease each other while Minho and Jisung talked quietly together. Hyunjin and Felix were loudly laughing at something while Chan looked at them like they had grown a second head. But when your eyes landed on Changbin you saw him silently watching you from his place and you tilted your head slightly in challenge. He quietly lifted an eyebrow in question to you and you quickly darted your eyes away from him.
Changbin was a mystery to you, he was the shortest of his group and yet he was able to command and guide his group with ease. It was absolutely amazing to you and utterly sexy. His quiet confidence drove you wild with desire for the man and you would often find yourself dreaming about him when you fell asleep at night. Your subconscious creates images of how he would be able to command and guide you for both of your pleasure. It nearly made you mad with lust for him. But because he was so aloof with you you figured he wasn’t interested and didn’t see you that way at all. Which was discouraging but you could live with that knowledge if it meant you still got to see him every day in town.
Soon enough Chan was walking up to the register and you smiled sweetly at him as you walked along to meet him there. He easily paid their bill before the rest of the group began to walk up behind him calling out pleased goodbyes to you before walking out of the diner.
”We’ll see you later sweetheart!” Called Felix with a wave of his hand and you nodded as you waved them all goodbye. Changbin was always the last one to leave and as he walked past the register he nodded his head silently at you.
”See you later Changbin. Have a good night.” You said kindly to him with a warm smile as he passed you. When he left the diner you slowly walked back to their table and began to gather the nearly scrapped clean plates before dumping them in the dirty bin for dirty dishes. As you wiped down the tables you spotted the folded bills left on the table and shook your head at the excessive tip, you knew Changbin was always the one to leave you a tip and he always tipped excessively. It made you feel slightly guilty for accepting such a large tip, so you would slip half of it into Agnes’ tip jar behind the bar so that she would have a little extra as well. Looking out of the front windows of the diner you watched as the guys all hopped onto their bikes before loudly starting them up and then driving off probably to their gang clubhouse that they had revamped from the old civic center across town. Your eyes lingered on Changbin like they normally did and you sighed softly as you watched him easily handle the large bike underneath him and bit your lip as he pulled out of the parking lot.
”Girl, when are you going to grow the balls to lock that man down finally?” Agnes called out from behind you startling you with her question before she began to cackle loudly at you jumping. You shook your head as you chuckled along with her before moving to the back to load up the dishes to be cleaned.
*-*-*-*
“Honey, are you sure you don't want me to give you a ride home? It’s on my way. It wouldn’t be a problem.” Agnes offered as the two of you walked out of the diner after your shift ended.
”No, no. I need to get some fresh air after being cooped up in that diner all day. I’ll be fine. I’ll see you tomorrow Agnes.” You call out to her and begin walking leisurely down the street in the direction of your apartment. Your apartment complex isn’t that far from the diner and is situated above the family owned pizzeria.
You quietly begin the walk home and slip in your earbuds into your ears before pressing play on your playlist for the evening. It’s a normal quick walk that you take almost every evening that you work at the diner. Usually just a ten minute walk as the sun begins to set over the town. As you pass by the local bar you quicken your steps as you spot a man leaning against the side of the building by himself. Not wanting to peak his interest you keep your head down and quickly walk past him. And just as you’re making it past the bar a large hand is grabbing your elbow and spinning you around. You yelp loudly at the swift movement and you yank your earbuds out of your ears before you shove the man away from you as he tries to crowd you hurriedly.
“C’mon darling. I just want a little taste.” He croons at you and scoff in disgust at him before shoving him away once more as he steps closer to you.
”No thanks. Not interested.” you say loudly just as you hear a loud motorcycle engine pull up in the parking lot of the bar. The man tried to grab at you again but suddenly you watched wide eyed as a large hand wrapped around his shoulder and he was yanked backwards to the ground harshly.
”I think the lady said no.” Changbin snapped out angrily as he loomed over the man lying on the ground on his back.
”Hey easy man. I was just asking her out.” The man tried to talk his way out of the situation. Changbin looked over at you for a quiet moment before he twirled his index finger in a circular motion. You did as you were told and turned around to give him your back.
As the sounds of heavy fists hitting skin echoed around you you flinched at each sound. But not once did you turn back to watch since Changbin had asked you not to. Only when Changbin’s hand came to rest gently on your hip did you turn around to him. You didn’t bother to look at the guy on the ground as Changbin guided you over to his bike.
”I’ll give you a ride home. Here take my helmet.” He said to you and you nearly melted at his soft tone as he placed his helmet on top of your head before buckling the strap underneath your chin. He straddled the bike and leant forward to give you enough room to get on, which you did in a hurry and wrapped your arms around his waist and cuddled into his back as you shut your eyes. You had never been on a motorcycle and jolted against his back when he started up the bike making it rumbling underneath you.
The ride back to your apartment was quick and soon Changbin was sliding off his bike to help you off as well. Your hand felt small in his large one and when your thumb grazed over his busted knuckle you gasped softly before looking down at his hand.
”Oh no! Your hands!” You cooed at him.
”It’s nothing, don't worry about it.” Changbin tried to reassure you but you shook your head at him.
”Come up to my apartment and I’ll patch you up.” You insisted and Changbin shook his head quickly as a blush bloomed on his cheeks as his eyes darted up the stairs to your apartment.
”No, no I couldn’t do that.” He said softly as he shook his head again.
”Please Changbin? You beat up a guy for me because he wouldn’t. Take no for an answer.” You said softly as your lips pouted slightly at him. “Let me take care of you.” You insisted once more but he sighed and shook his head as he gently unclasped his helmet from your head.
”Maybe another time.” He reassured you gently with a soft smile and you huffed at him causing him to chuckle at you. You pout slightly before you lunge forward and press a kiss to his cheek which shocks him but then makes him duck his head as he grins to himself.
”Well thank you for saving me. I really appreciate it. Would you let my buy you lunch or dinner to say thank you?” You ask him sweetly and he looks up at you quickly with wide eyes.
”Like a date?” He asks before ducking his head once more and you chuckle softly at his antics.
”Yes like a date silly.” You says softly and Changbin grins softly at your answer before nodding his head while keeping his eyes down. “Good. I’ll let you know next time I’m free and we’ll go.” You say softly to him and he nods once more.
”Now get going. I know you’re exhausted.” He said softly in a gruff tone which had you beaming happily at him. You press one more kiss to his cheek before you’re turning on your heel to walk up the steps to your apartment as he watches you in a daze from his bike. You chuckle softly as you spot him still there after making it up to your door before you unlock the door and slip inside with a beaming smile on your face.

A List of Every Teen Titan Ever (Pre 52 Only)
The Teen Titans [1965-1979]: When the adult heroes were possessed by the evil Antithesis entity, it was up to the teen sidekicks - Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Wonder Girl and Speedy - to band together to save them. Inspired by their success, the adolescent adventurers decided to remain a team - and the Teen Titans were born! Some members left and new ones emerged - even forming a Titans West sub-group. But as the members approached college, the team began to dissolve and eventually disbanded.
1. Dick Grayson [Robin/Nightwing] Joined: Brave and the Bold #60 [1965] When Dick Grayson's trapeze-artist parents were murdered, he was taken in by the Batman and became his junior partner: Robin, the Boy Wonder. As leader of the Teen Titans, Dick emerged from the shadow of his mentor and adopted the costumed identity of Nightwing.
2. Wally West [Kid Flash/Flash] Joined: Brave and the Bold #60 [1965] A bolt of lightning endowed young Wally West with super-speed, enabling him to become Kid Flash, protege to the Flash! When the Flash was slain during a great crisis, Wally became the Flash in honor of his fallen mentor.
3. Garth [Aqualad/Tempest] Joined: Brave and the Bold #60 [1965] Young Garth was abandoned by his own people because of a superstition concerning his unique purple eyes. Befriended by Aquaman, the underwater orphan became his sidekick as Aqualad! Years later, Garth discovered his secret mystic birthright and emerged as the powerful aquatic hero known as Tempest.
4. Donna Troy [Wonder Girl/Troia/Darkstar] Joined: Brave and the Bold #60 [1965] Infant Donna Troy was rescued from a fire and raised by the Titans of Myth, who gifted her with great powers. At age 13, Donna was adopted by the Amazons and became Wonder Girl in honor of her sister, Wonder Woman. Donna later embraced her true Titanic heritage and became the heroine known as Troia.
5. Roy Harper [Speedy/Arsenal/Red Arrow] Joined: Teen Titans #19 [1968], Revealed as founding member in Teen Titans #53 [1978] When Roy Harper's forest ranger father perished in a fire, Green Arrow adopted the young orphan and trained the natural-born archer as his sidekick, Speedy. Roy's time as a government agent exposed him to all manner of weaponry - leading the boy bowman to become an expert marksman as Arsenal. In honor of his mentor, Harper now fights crime as Red Arrow.
6. Lilith Clay Jupiter [Omen] Joined: Teen Titans #25 [1970] Lilith Clay - a mysterious precognitive telepath - long sought the truth behind her own parentage. Lilith later discovered her father was none other than Titans mentor, Loren Jupiter. Upon meeting her mysterious mother, Lilith's powers intensified and she adopted the persona of Omen. Lilith was later tragically killed in battle.
7. Hank Hall [Hawk] Joined: Teen Titans #25 [1970] The Lords of Chaos and Order mysteriously granted powers to teen brothers Hank and Don Hall. Pacifist Don became Dove while aggresive Hank became Hawk - both balancing the scales between might and right. Tragedy later claimed both brothers as Dove was killed in battle while Hawk became the villainous Monarch and later perished.
8. Don Hall [Dove] Joined: Teen Titans #25 [1970] The Lords of Chaos and Order mysteriously granted powers to teen brothers Hank and Don Hall. Pacifist Don became Dove while aggresive Hank became Hawk - both balancing the scales between might and right. Tragedy later claimed both brothers as Dove was killed in battle while Hawk became the villainous Monarch and later perished.
9. Mal Duncan [Vox/Guardian/Hornblower/Herald] Joined: Teen Titans #26 [1970] Streetwise Mal Duncan was invited to join the Titans by Loren Jupiter. Mal later adopted the identity of the Herald when his girlfriend Karen Beecher helped fashion a dimension-opening Gabriel's Horn for him. When a horrible accident fused Mal's sub-sonic weapons to his body, he adopted the name Vox and joined the Doom Patrol.

Hellooooo!! When I saw that you write for Transformers Prime, I giggled like a maniac.
Could I request Bumblebee, Knockout, Smokescreen, and Optimus Prime with a reader who's their biggest supporter and cheerleader?
Pairings -> Bumblebee, Knockout, Smokescreen, Optimus Prime X Reader
Warnings -> None
Note -> Reader is just their biggest supporter
Genre -> Fluff
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bumblebee
Bee is very grateful to have you as his number 1# supporter
Whether it be his missions, his hard work, his racing skills or just him at video games in his car
You would sometimes go with Bee and Raf and always be there to see them playing video games
You seem to be always cheering for Bee but you would also cheer for Raf of course to not make him feel left out
Bee is a very hard-working scout, being on Prime's team is quite the challenging bit for all autobots since there is not many autobots left since the cybertron war
But you are always there to cheer them on and make sure they feel powered up when they are going on missions
Bee is the autobot who you always cheered on the very first day when you encountered the fight
Bee is just happy to have you beside his side to cheer him on
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Knockout
Okay I'm just going to say this but I bet you would always make him feel special by your comments on his beautiful paint
Like someone HAS to say it
I mean come on HE'S GORGEOUS
Like no one has ever said it so It's your time to shine and say it
Then he would feel smug and cocky as he thanks you in return
But the times when his paint is always scratched you are willing to help him since his former partner Breakdown was no-where to be seen after the incident that Knockout doesn't know
But knockout is glad you are there to help him buff his paint
Then after finishing his paint you would then say how perfect his paint looks now
Knockout seems to be softened by your comments as he allows you and only you to help him and touch his paint since he knows you were scruff his paint up
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Smokescreen
Smokescreen is new to earth but that doesn't stop you from helping him learn all of the basics of earth and its rules
When he gets use to the rules on earth you would congratulate him by having a ride in the empty dessert near Japer Navada
As a reward for being able to follow the rules
He would feel like you are the right type of person to have and that he is your guardian after Optimus knows how close you two have become on the first day
Smokescreen is always willing to protect and if he does, you would reward him or simply compliment him to make his ego go up
He is always willing to do something to get your compliments or your comment on his fighting skills
Smokescreen just wants someone to appreciate his skills in the battle field
And you are the right person to help him with that
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Optimus Prime
OKAY
OKAY
THIS MAN NEEDS SOMEONE TO SUPPORT HIM
And I know the autobots is willing to follow his lead and make sure earth stays safe
But ever since Optimus has become your guardian, he was never sure you were going to turn out like Miko
Well sort of like miko
You are like miko when she compliments Bulkhead work on wreaking the cons
So you are kind of like that but towards Optimus
which he thanks you for the support
You would always say that he did an amazing job on being Optimus Prime and the leader of the autobots which takes up a lot of responsibility
You just want to make sure he is known for his hard work and his leadership of leading the autobots to revive Cybertron and to protect Earth from Decepticons

Sonic is acting strange.
From the moment he entered the cave at the top of the mountain and going on even after Shadow finished the battle, he was more energetic, talking faster than usual, to his friends’s eyes happier than they had ever seen him before. But deep inside his mind and heart, he felt more melancholic than anything.
Rouge said something about to going visit Shadow, wherever he’d gone, though it’s not probable that Shadow would gift her a powerful gem of inter dimensional proportions, it’s still a possibility. He finds himself comfortable with the idea of either of them guarding it, after all, Shadow would never let it bring chaos to their lives again, and now he knows Rouge it’s a better leader than he could ever be, they both would make the right call.
Sparring with Knuckles was as much of a way to get the stress out of his system as it is a reminder that the guardian isn’t a glory driven danger prone sailor, nor a extremely paranoid jungle survivor, and definitely not a soldier willing to hit an 8 year old if it means saving the world, no, he’s just Knucks. Ready to put him back in his tracks every time he goes off, same old Knucklehead.
Asking Amy to help him bake a cake to celebrate their victory on the mountain took her by surprise, not expecting Sonic to have the consideration or patience to think about and prepare that kind of gift just so their friends would enjoy it together. But what really shook her to the core was how many times he thanked her through the making, in his mind just one of those “thank you” was for the cake, the rest of them were for everything else.
Tails knows Sonic is acting strange.
it wasn’t just the sudden consideration on his words and actions, but also the eagerness to just spend time with them, an insane amount of time in which he paid attention to everyone and everything, he looked to the sea as if it was more of a new racetrack than an obstacle to his speed, he turned his sight to the sky as if he’d forgotten it was blue, and gazed to the palm trees as if he’d never seen one before. But most of it all, between his friends and the rest of the world, Sonic was looking at him.
It wasn’t the normal look he’d give him everyday, being the only one Sonic hadn’t been alone with since the mountain battle was weird enough, they would usually race and joke together after every battle, but not this time; Sonic was actively keeping him at arms length while never getting his eyes off of him, It didn’t matter who was Sonic talking to or what was he doing, if Tails was around, he was looking at him.
Every time he was smiling he would look back to see if he was smiling too, when one of his friends tried to approach him Sonic would instantly get in their way without any more reason than to talk to them, if there was a sudden movement or loud noise Sonic would turn to him as if to expect him to be gone, the calmness in his body being noticeable every time he found him.
It felt wrong, it felt distant, it felt as if he was a problem. He hasn’t felt like this in years.
Hours and hours later when their friends finally got too tired of watching Sonic’s odd behavior they all went their own way for the night, with Rouge just disappearing in the dark, Knuckles claiming he had places to be, and Amy saying the day had drained her and she needed sleep, Sonic and Tails were finally alone.
The walk to Tails’ lab was quick, but quiet. The silence prevailed all the way before they entered the house and closed the door, then it wasn’t quiet anymore.
With the way Sonic practically launched himself over Tails knocking the air out of him as he hugged the kit tightly, both falling to the floor as Sonic held him against his chest with one hand while the other one placed itself securing the fox’s head just below Sonic’s chin. Tails was quiet, way too shocked with the sudden affection after a whole day of being so close while feeling so far away. But Sonic’s sobs and whimpers weren’t quiet at all.
They were loud and broken, not forming any comprehensible words as hiccups broke in every time it seemed like he was actually trying to say something, as if he held back from crying for hours, It felt guilty, sorrowful, and desperate.
Tails found himself breaking his silence and asking repeatedly “what’s wrong?!” as he reciprocated the hug just for Sonic to tighten his arms around him, breaking into fully crying this time, with a sea of tears falling from the speedster’s eyes to the genius’ head, not letting him go even for a second, not loosening his grip after what felt like hours of holding his little brother, who held him back just as tightly.
Even if the tears stopped, their embrace didn’t, with the morning warmth closer than midnight’s coldness the blue hedgehog found himself surrounding the sleepy fox as he fought sleep’s calling to stay with his big brother.
“I love you” was muttered to the boy’s ears as he was claimed by the land of dreams, in which he could fly all day with the shining star he called his brother.
Tails wasn’t sure if that whisper was part of his dream. Sonic knew it wasn’t

The New Gotham Rogue, Keeper Pt.1
So! When Danny was killed by the Portal, he was tossed into the Realms and the Portal collapsed behind him. All that was left was a small Spiral shaped Crack in Reality hanging in the Air, and a crater where the Portal had originally opened.
His Family and Friends assumed he was vaporized by the malfunctioning Portal and mourned his death, and Danny himself thought he was just Flat Out Killed by the Portal and became a normal Ghost.
Danny was stuck in the Ghost Zone for over a Month, coming to terms with his own Death, before something happened. The Portal Re-opened itself temporarily.
When Danny found it Open, he was Elated! He could finally go back home, explain what had happened to his Parents, maybe even find a way to live in the Human World as a Ghost!
Unfortunately, he wasn't the first one to find the Portal. Lunch Lady had reached it about an Hour before he did, and had begun attacking the students at his old school for changing the Lunch Menu she had concocted in her life.
Danny rushed to stop her, and eventually managed to beat her. Unfortunately, his Parents showed up and started attacking him too. Even after he explained that he was Danny, that he was their Son, they didn't stop. In fact, they got even more aggressive, saying that their son was dead and that he was just another Spook.
In the end, Danny had to run back into the Ghost Zone to escape his parents, dragging Lunch Lady with him.
After that, he decided that he had to become a Guardian of the Portal whenever it randomly Opened, to keep both the Humans and the Ghosts safe.
For over a year, he stopped almost every Ghost that attempted to pass through the Portal, fighting them back or stalling them until the Portal closed again. There were a few incidents where they managed to get passed him, like when Undergrowth mind controlled his old friend Sam, or when Hotep-Ra reawakened Tuckers memories from his pasts lives, but most of the time he had it under control.
Of course not all of them had to get past him, Natural Portals still existed after all, but every time they got to the Human Realm he would find them and drag them back.
Unfortunately, being the one thing standing between the Ghosts and the opportunity to fulfill their Obsessions earned him a lot of resentment.
Everybody he met hated him. He was seen as a Villain in the Zone, the one who prevented everybody from fulfilling their Purpose at every pass.
Danny was not in a good head space about it.
His mind was buckling under the pressure of it all. His duties as the Guardian of the Portal, the hatred the Denizens of the Realms held for him, the lonliness eating away at his Sanity, it was all too much. He felt his psyche cracking ever so slightly every day that passed like this.
It got better for a time in the 2nd year of his Afterlife. He had managed to befriend a few Ghosts, mainly the Leaders of certain Kingdoms who saw the necessity of his action, as well as a few others.
Frostbite, Pandora, and Dorathea were the Pillars upholding his sanity for that period of time. He finally had friends (or at least people who didn't harbor nothing but distain for him). But unfortunately, it couldn't last forever. They had Kingdoms to run, People to Lead, and they couldn't spend all their free time entertaining his selfish whims his need to talk to someone, anyone at all, so he forced himself to stop bothering them so much (they didn't think any of that)
And Guarding the Portal took most of his time as well. His Rouges had started attacking him between it's Openings, hoping to gain control of the Portal while it was inactive so they had first dibs when it did open. Danny was getting run ragged trying to keep them all away.
Eventually, he reached his second Death Day. It didn't really feel like 2 years had passed, in fact it felt like much, much longer than that, but he knew in his Core that it was his 2nd Death Day. Also, whenever he peeked through the Portal, it seemed like 2 years ago passed in the Living World, so he just went with that.
On that day, he discovered something. During a battle with Plasmius, (who was still enraged at him for blowing up his own, stable Portal), he felt something strange. A familiarity that he had never noticed before, which happened when Plasmius briefly turned Human to avoid his attacks.
After the Battle, Danny decided to investigate that feeling. It was a weird sensation, like pressure built up in his Chest that he had never noticed until that moment with Plasmius, the first time he had ever seen him Transform in person.
After focusing on it for a while, Danny felt it getting stronger and stronger until it Burst with a flash of light. And suddenly he was Human again. He was Alive again.
It was another few minutes of testing this ability out before he finally stopped and took it all in. He was a Human. even if he was half Ghost.
He was Human.
He was Alive.
A thought struck him. Did this mean he could go back home? Back to his Family? His friends? Mom and Dad? Jazz? Sam and Tucker?
In an instant he was up and running to the still Open Portal. It hadn't closed since he had beaten Plasmius, as it it felt his desire to return to the Human World.
It actually might have, considering it was a part of him. Clockwork had explained it after the whole, Dan situation. When he had first formed, a piece of his newly formed Core had broken off and become the Core of the Portal instead. It gave him a connection that allowed him to better Guard the Portal, knowing when it was Open or if somebody had used it.
Stopping at the edge of the Opening, Danny thought about all the things he would be able to do again. Hug his Parents, eat Human Food, talk to his friends. Oh God, it had been so long since he had actually talked to another person. None of his Rouges had bothered reciprocating his Quips in almost a year now, so he barely ever had anybody to talk to. Even somebody proclaiming their eternal hatred for him would be better than the endless silence.
Taking a deep breath, he stepped through the Portal with Hope in his Heart.
On the other side, he found un unfamiliar room.
It was much cleaner than his Parents Lab, with all the different Inventions placed perfectly in neat workstations. Multiple work stations. Had his parents hired some neat freak assistants? Why were there so many Work Stations?
Honestly that wasn't even the most eye catching detail he noticed. There was something else, something more noticeable.
It was the fact that everything in the entire Lab was White.
He heard a series of footsteps approaching the Lab, and before he knew it, the room was filled with GIW Agents and Scientists, all pointing their Weapons at him.
He tried to call out to them, to tell them that it was okay, that he was Human. But all that came out was the static sound of Ghost Speak. Why did that happen? He wanted to use Human Language! Why was he only using Ghost Speak? Had he...had be really forgotten how to speak?
Did he really forget the one thing basic for almost every human? How? Sure it had been a while since he spoke it, but were 2 years of not speaking English really enough for him to forget everything?
But, it hadn't been just 2 years, had it? Time moved strangely in the Ghost Zone, and it definitely felt like longer. How long had it actually been? How long had he been Dead?
Stuck in his own mind, he never saw the barage of attacks coming his way.
...
Danny was stuck in that Lab for over 6 months.
He was kept in that same room he was captured in, constantly being cut open and pulled apart before being left overnight to heal himself.
He tried to explain that he was human in any way possible, but without being able to talk it was hard. He tried writing out in his own blood at once point, but they just cut him opened even more after that, trying to figure out how the "Mindless Ghost" had managed to imitate human writing.
They never listened to him screaming in pain. In their eyes it was just a random Ghost trying to trick them into thinking he could Feel.
Every time he screamed in pain, they would berate him. "You can't feel, shut up!" "You aren't human, stop taking that form!" "You are a Ghost! You can't feel scared, get up!" "You are just a mindless blob of Ectoplasm!" "You would kill everybody here if given the chance!" "You aren't Human!" "You aren't real!" "You're just a Monster!"
"You aren't Alive!"
Even through all that Torment, he didn't stop fighting. He knew he was Human, that he was alive. There was nothing that would ever change that. Or so he thought.
Then they brought his Parents in.
They had previously mentioned them, praising them for their technical skills and cheering the fact that they had sold them the Portal, even if it had not turned back in since he came through. Then, they decided to bring them in to study the Ghost who kept imitating their dead son.
When they first walked in, Danny felt a spark of hope. Maybe they would save him, maybe they would see that he was alive, that he was real.
But they didn't. They just kept on with the same experiments as before, yelling the same things, but it hurt so much more coming from them.
He didn't last long under their study. He broke, and he didn't think he would ever put himself back together again.
...
It was at the 6 Month Mark that something new happened. As it turns out neither his, nor the Portal's absense had gone unnoticed in the Zone.
In his time trapped in that Lab, he had used his connection to the Portal to keep it from opening, using every ounce of his Willpower to force it to stay closed, no matter how much it struggled under his control.
When he was finally Broken by his Parents, he lost his grip on the Portal, and that night it opened for the first time in Months.
The first one to find him was, coincidentally, the Lunch Lady. The first ever Ghost he guarded the Portal from.
What she saw when she floated into that Room would forever Scar her memories. Danny in his Ghost Form laying strapped to an Operation Table, his organs out in the Air, his ribs spread out like an Eagle. At the center of his Chest sat his Core, exposed for the whole world to see, showing off all the damage it had received since the Scientists first found it all those months ago.
He looked up at her, and his eyes told her all she needed to know. Run.
She fled back through the Portal, horror stricken across her face. Danny managed to shut it down again after that.
Apparently news of what she had seen seen had spread around the Realms. Even when the Portal was active, nobody came through. The few times anybody did poke their head through, they saw him and left screaming in Terror.
Danny knew they would never save him. He was their Enemy, the Villain in their story, they would never risk themselves trying to help him.
And honestly he didn't know if he wanted to he helped. This was all his Fault. He was the one to open the Portal, he was the one who Guarded it for all that time, he was the one who got himself into this mess.
One time, he felt the Familiar Aura of Pandora approaching the Portal, and forced it closed before she could reach it. Her head managed to get through for a moment, but when she looked at him with those pleading eyes, begging to let her help him, he closed them as tight as he could and shut the Portal Closed, pushing her Back into the Realms.
She was trying to save him. But she didn't deserve to get hurt trying to help a waste of space like him.
He needed to get the Portal away from the Lab. It was only a matter of time before he lost any ability to close the Portal at all, before the Scientists managed to find a way to keep it open and invade the Realms. He needed to get it away from them, if only to protect the Ghosts on the other side.
He needed to do his Job, to guard the Portal. From either Side.
...
It took another month of conserving his strength before he managed to break out of his Shackles. It took a bit if trial and error, but eventually he found a way to draw the Portal into himself to transport it away.
It was technically a piece of his Core after all, he just had to slot it back into Place.
After that, he had to find a way out of the Lab. The Scientist he found wandering outside his room didn't have any Overshadowing Protection at the time, so he managed to get halfway to the Exits before the alarms sounded.
Then it was a mad dash of fighting off Guards and dodging the Security System to get to the Door. He dropped the Body when he reached the Doors.
It didn't get any easier after escaping the Building, but after several hours of chasing he eventually lost them.
He kept running though. He couldn't keep the Portal within him forever, and he needed a safe place to let it out. Hours of running eventually led him to somewhere that might work.
Gotham City.
...
Cass wasn't entirely sure that she was making the right call in this, but Croc's Body Language seemed to suggest that he was being genuine in his intentions, so she kept on following him.
In the past few Months, there had been a string of incidents where Government Agents in White Suits had incited fights and shootouts while "investigating" a supposed escaped Superpowered Prisoner. They had justified themselves by saying that the civilians they were attacking were actually Extra Dimensional Monsters known as Ecto-Entities, also known as Ghosts.
Of course a simple blood test always disproved them, but they were relentless in their "investigation". She used air quotes because they were some of the most Incompetent and Dimwitted morons the team had ever encountered, which was saying something. The only semi-competent ones where the pair of Scientists who commanded them, but even they were borderline insane, constantly ranting about how Evil Ghosts were and how they wanted to pull them apart molecule by molecule.
Unfortunately, there was nothing her Dad could do about them. They were a legitimate Government Agency, no matter how incompetent, and they hadn't been lucky enough to actually do any damage in their multitude of fights, so her Dad couldn't really force them to leave.
He had however started looking into the missing Ghost Prisoner they were chasing. If he could just find it, they could get the GIW out of the City and be done with them.
Her Dad and Tim's investigation had led him to a few short reports from a couple of months ago, describing a Humanoid figure covering in a glowing green liquid stalking the streets one night before disappearing all of a sudden. There wasn't much to work with, but the Team kept on the investigation in the hopes that they could get rid of the GIW sooner rather than later.
Unfortunately Cass, Damian, and Jason were exempt from the investigation, because for whatever reason whenever they came anywhere near the GIW, they started attacking them.
They had argued that they could take care of themselves, but Bruce had been adamant that they stay out of it. Damian had eventually relented, trusting the orders of his Father. Jason had flat out refused, but said that he would stay out of it just as long as the GIW stayed out of Crime Alley.
Cass however? She didn't want to be left out! She had more than proven that she could take care of herself, but her Dad was still too paranoid to even let her out of the House. She decided that she would undergo her own Investigation, and prove to her Dad that he shouldn't have ousted her from the Case like that.
She decided to take a different approach to the Investigation. Her Family was still combing through reports from the previous few months to see if there were any more mentions of the Figure, but she thought of something else.
After looking at the randomly reported sightings of the Entity that her family had collected, she noticed something. They were all set near Farners Markets, Grocery Stores, Restaurants.
The Entity was looking for Food.
She didn't think extra-dimensional Entities would be eating the same food as other Humans, but then again these things are supposedly impressions of Human Emotion that remain after death. Maybe it held onto the same Habits?
She decided to follow that potential lead.
Tracking stolen food across Gotham was tricky, because so many people were stealing food to survive. But eventually she got down a Pattern. It would strike at nighttime, stealing only Canned Food, and the Camera's would be covered in static for his duration in the store. Curiously, it would also take a few containers of Fudge whenever the store had it.
It was very steady for a while, and eventually she found that her list of locations matched up to the sightings the others had gathered had from the past few months.
On the day she was about to reveal the results of her investigation to her Dad, something changed.
The GIW had a major shootout, where they reported that they had found and injured the Prisoner, but it had Escaped.
The reports of stolen food matching it's M.O. stopped coming in after that. She thought that her Lead had been lost, and was mentally cursing the GIW in her head for days, before an offhand comment from one of her brother's caught her attention.
"Croc was seen stealing Canned Food recently. Didn't think he ate anything but Meat, but I guess he got a taste for Chocolate Fudge."
So, she investigated the Lead and found that Croc had taken up stealing the same type of food as the Entity did.
Quickly, she looked up the maps of every store that had been hit, as well as the Sewer Systems, and looked at them side by side. They matched up. At every single location where the Entity had stolen it's food, there was a Major Sewer Line.
And each of those Sewer Lines were in Killer Croc's territory. Killer Croc was harboring the Entity, he was feeding it.
She had solved it! The Ghost Entity was living in the Sewers!
She almost got up and ran to tell her father the news right then and there, but she paused. There were still unanswered questions, questions she wanted to figure out before telling her Dad.
Why was Croc feeding the Entity?
What connection did they have?
Why was the Entity in the City in the first place if the GIW was there as well, looking for it?
She needed all the answers before presenting it to her dad. She wanted to cover all of her Bases if she was going to admit that she went against her Dad's orders, not wanting to anger him. (She knew he wouldn't be mad at her, but old fears die hard.)
It took a while to find a way to sneak out of the House, but she managed it eventually. She roped Alfred into covering for her, saying she just needed some fresh air after being stuck in the house for almost a Month. Which was actually true.
After that it was just a matter of scoping out the spot where she had predicted Croc would be first, and waited.
It took a few tries to get the right location, but eventually she managed to find him. Croc was wary of her at first, and when she mentioned the food matching the MO of somebody else she was tracking, he flipped out!
He wouldn't let her get a word in, not that he was speaking very much, but still.
He calmed down after a few minutes of her not fighting back. She convinced him that she just wanted to talk to the one she was Tracking, whoever he was, so she could ask them for help in getting the GIW out of the City. Which was technically the truth.
After a bit more convincing, he caved and told her to follow him, before descending into the Sewers.
She was thankful that Croc was one of the more reasonable of the Rouges, and that she had a good enough reputation that he managed to trust her.
So here she was, following Croc through his Territory under Gotham, about to meet this Ghost Entity she had been tracking for over a Month now.
After a long walk, they emerged into a relatively large Room. It seemed to be an abandoned Sewer Reservoir, one of those large Rooms you see on TV that's like a giant Whirpool that characters are always getting sucked into (she hadn't had much to do while stuck in the house okay? She had been watching a lot of TV recently), except it was completely Dry.
There were a few places around that were obviously set up like different rooms in a house. A bedroom, a kitchen, an old couch and a box TV set up in front of it, and so on. This seemed to be one of Crocs more lived-in homes, which spoke to the trust he was placing in her not revealing this place to the other Bats. She felt slightly honored at that thought.
He led her to a section of the Base slightly off to the side, a room that wasn't entirely visible from the Enterance.
He stopped her at the door and called into it. "Hey Keeper, there's someone here to see you."
Without waiting for a reply, he turned around and ushered her into the Room.
It looked like a typical Bedroom, an old wardrobe was set off to the side, one of the door having fallen off. Inside there weren't that many items, just a few shirts and some pants. Closer to the center of the room, there was a Table covered with various empty cans and utensils. On three walls there were various posters and drawing featuring stars and constellations, seemingly placed haphazardly around the room with no real pattern. Most importantly, there was a Bed in the Corner.
And on that bed, was the Entity she had been tracking. And he was just a Kid.
He looked just like a normal teenager, about the same age as her, but he had White Hair and Green Eyes. He was sitting in an upright position, probably having sat up to get a better look at his visitor, and she could see the mess of bandages on his body.
The freshest ones were obviously for the wounds that had gotten him put on bed rest, a strip of clean bandages covering his stomach, with a bulge above his lower left stomach showing where he had gotten shot by the GIW.
But the rest of them, the older ones, they covered his entire main body. The bandages where old and slightly dirty, but it was obvious they had been placed in a hurry.
She was so busy studying his wounds that she almost missed Croc introducing her.
"Orphan, this is Keeper. Keeper, this is Orphan." He told the boy, "She says she wants to help get rid of the GIW."
The boy merely glanced at her before directing his gaze to Croc. A static-like sound seemed to Emit from his form, like a Trill, but against all logic she seemed to understand what it meant.
Discontent. Wariness.
Croc seemed to understand it too, and said, "Keeper, she can help get rid of the GIW. Don't you want them gone?"
Another Static Trill. Uninterest. Indifferent. Resigned.
"You can't just give up like that! If you won't fight back for yourself, at least fight back for the sake of protecting the P-", he was cut off by a wave of Static.
Anger. Displeasure. Stop.
Croc stuttered a bit. "I-sorry Keeper, I didn't mean to- I-" He was cut off again.
Displeasure. Leave.
They got the hint. Leaving the room, and walking to the exit.
Cass made one final glance behind her, meeting his eyes through the open doorway. They were cold and lifeless voids, as if he had cut himself off from all emotion.
"Sorry 'bout this Orphan. Keeper needs help, but he doesn't think he deserves it." He told her as they walked back to the surface. "He's not in a good head space right now, hasn't been since me n' Grundy found him wandering the Sewers all those months ago."
She made a questioning sound, and he picked up her meaning quickly. "Grundy is out finding more space themed stuff for his Room. Said somethin' about needing to fill an Obsession, but can't really explain it more than that."
She nodded in understanding as they reached the Sewer Drain where they had first decended into his Territory. She climbed out, but gave a final goodbye to Croc as she left.
She pointed at herself, and said, "I. Come. Back. Soon."
He gave her a slight Nod, and she leaped away.
By the time she got back to her Room in the Manor, her mind was a raving.
She was dumbfounded. Cass had originally tracked him down to make sure her theory was right before reporting it to her Dad, so that the GIW would take him before leaving and not coming back. She was dead set on getting the GIW out of the City by turning whatever entity they were chasing in.
But every intention of reporting him had left her the moment she had seem him in person. He was just a kid, a teenager like her. He was so hurt he couldn't get out of his Bed, his body was covered in bandages from presumably previous encounters with the GIW, and he was resigned to his fate.
He didn't care if he lived or died. He was just fine with letting the GIW capture him and injure him again, but there was something he was protecting that made him keep going on.
She wanted to help him.
But it wasn't because she pitied him. It was because Keeper had such a familair expression on his face when she left. One she had seen in the mirror a thousand times before her Dad had taken her in. And she swore she wouldn't let another kid keep that same expression as long as she could help it.
But there was also something else. When he was talking to Croc, and Croc mentioned that she wanted to help get rid of the GIW, she saw something flicker in his eyes. Just for a moment.
And she might be wrong, but she thought she saw a flicker of Hope.

“Of all the animosities which have existed among mankind, those which are caused by a difference of sentiments in religion appear to be the most inveterate and distressing, and ought to be deprecated. I was in hopes that the enlightened and liberal policy, which has marked the present age, would at least have reconciled Christians of every denomination so far that we should never again see the religious disputes carried to such a pitch as to endanger the peace of society.”
George Washington in a letter to Edward Newenham, October 20, 1792.
“History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance of which their civil as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purposes.”
Thomas Jefferson in a letter to Alexander von Humboldt, December 6, 1813.
“The civil government functions with complete success by the total separation of the Church from the State.”
James Madison, 1819.
“And I have no doubt that every new example will succeed, as every past one has done, in shewing that religion & Govt will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together.”
James Madison in a letter to Edward Livingston, July 10, 1822.
“Every new and successful example of a perfect separation between ecclesiastical and civil matters is of importance.”
James Madison, 1822.
“When a religion is good, I conceive it will support itself; and when it does not support itself, and God does not take care to support it so that its professors are obligated to call for help of the civil power, it’s a sign, I apprehend, of its being a bad one.”
Benjamin Franklin in a letter to Richard Price, October 9, 1780.
“As I understand the Christian religion, it was, and is, a revelation. But how has it happened that millions of fables, tales, legends, have been blended with both Jewish and Christian revelation that have made them the most bloody religion that ever existed?”
John Adams in a letter to F.A. Van der Kamp, Dec. 27, 1816.
“What influence, in fact, have ecclesiastical establishments had on society? In some instances they have been seen to erect a spiritual tyranny on the ruins of the civil authority; on many instances they have been seen upholding the thrones of political tyranny; in no instance have they been the guardians of the liberties of the people. Rulers who wish to subvert the public liberty may have found an established clergy convenient auxiliaries. A just government, instituted to secure and perpetuate it, needs them not.”
James Madison in “A Memorial and Remonstrance”, 1785.
“Congress has no power to make any religious establishments.”
Roger Sherman, Congress, August 19, 1789.
“We have abundant reason to rejoice that in this Land the light of truth and reason has triumphed over the power of bigotry and superstition. In this enlightened Age and in this Land of equal liberty it is our boast, that a man’s religious tenets will not forfeit the protection of the Laws, nor deprive him of the right of attaining and holding the highest Offices that are known in the United States.”
George Washington in a letter to the members of the New Church in Baltimore, January 27, 1793.
“This would be the best of all possible worlds, if there were no religion in it.”
John Adams.
“Christianity neither is, nor ever was a part of the common law.”
Thomas Jefferson in a letter to Dr. Thomas Cooper, February 10, 1814.
“Ecclesiastical establishments tend to great ignorance and corruption, all of which facilitate the execution of mischievous projects.”
James Madison.
“The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe in blood for centuries.”
James Madison in an 1803 letter.
”I am for freedom of religion and against all maneuvers to bring about a legal ascendancy of one sect over another.”
Thomas Jefferson in a letter to Elbridge Gerry, January 26, 1799.
“Of all the tyrannies that affect mankind, tyranny in religion is the worst.”
Thomas Paine.
“I wish [Christianity] were more productive of good works … I mean real good works … not holy-day keeping, sermon-hearing … or making long prayers, filled with flatteries and compliments despised by wise men, and much less capable of pleasing the Deity.”
Benjamin Franklin in Works, Vol. VII, p. 75.

Silver wolf!yuu is rarely known in nrc, they prefer to stay behind the scenes only a few students know about their existence.
Rarely appear in public, mostly using their holograms to go to school. It's pretty rare to see them actually outside of the ramshackle dorm.
Has a habit of disappearing and appearing, imagine your standing there and suddenly a hologram or game particles appear and silver wolf!yuu appear beside you.
Every time Crowley manages to piss them off, silver wolf!yuu would choose an area to vandalize at school, and some students manage to learn when you take a photo of it you can get a hidden message from silver wolf!yuu about Crowley.
silver wolf!yuu has a habit of collecting data about students, they have a database about their past, quirks, strength and weakness.
A very famous gamer in twst known to beat unbeatable levels of any game in twst and they use a fake alias. They hear about idia ranting towards Ortho about their game persona and find it funny. And join many game tournaments and win them easily and they gained money for this.
The ignihyde dorm is their second home, the dorm has good wifi for gaming. And manage to get close to idia and Ortho and talk about games with each other.
Their uniform has technology imbued to it. allowing them to access and project holographic screens on command. These are mainly used for quick data checks, sending encrypted messages, or pulling up maps and files in real-time without needing a handheld device.
They possessed a higher advanced technology than anything in twst. Also they use their aether hacking to change the ramshackle to their liking.

I see your vampire!Bruce Wayne AU and I raise you this:
Normal human Bruce Wayne raising his horde of vampire/dhamphir children, but because Bruce is Bruce no suspects any of the Batkids are, well ... bat kids.
Even the Batkids are confused at first when they first meet Bruce. Batman shows up and they're like:
"Oh, shit it's Batman! The very scary, very territorial Vampire Lord who's completely taken over Gotham and has managed to strike fear into the heart of all the most notorious vampire leaders! And he wants to adopt me into his coven? Sounds sketchy, but aight."
Only for them to wake up the next day and realize that not only is Batman in fact NOT a vampire, but he's also the most pitiful and pathetic human they've ever laid their eyes on and there's no fucking way they can leave him now.
Humans are already super fragile and easy to kill as is. And their new guardian is risking his life every night masquerading as an all powerful Vampire Lord!!!!
It's honestly a miracle that Bruce hasn't been killed yet and there's no way they're going to let their clueless human guardian wander off by himself. Especially after they realize he keeps forgetting that humans aren't supposed to be awake for 72 hours straight and his skin is paler than the giant hoards of case file documents he tries to sift through while barely touching his own food.
This poor idiot human is so committed to pretending to be a vampire that he's actually convinced himself he has night vision and spends more time hanging out in a literal Batcave than he does in his own fucking house!
Meanwhile, Bruce is thoroughly convinced he's got a complete handle on the whole raising vampire/dhampir children thing. After all, it's not like he's had to change much about his own personal life to that of a parent taking care of a horde of supernatural children.
He already spends more time awake at night anyway and while the kids don't mind human food absolutely love Alfred's cooking, it's not difficult to get a hold of any blood when they actually need to feed on something more substantial. Considering he's the biggest contributor to Gotham's blood donation centers, it's not like anyone's gonna tell him no.
Bruce also read somewhere that while vampires in the modern age don't actually need to hunt humans to feed anymore (considering the above mentioned donation centers), their hunting instincts haven't gone away, either. So while he was initially against the idea of letting his kids getting involved in his vigilante lifestyle, it was probably a good thing in the end that they had an alternative outlet for their growing vampiric urges. Like Alfred, he would have preferred it if they had gotten into competitive sports or something similar instead, but all his children had proven themselves to be just as stubborn as he is so he made do with what he could.
Especially considering the fact that a parenting article he read mentioned how extremely sensitive young vampires/dhampirs are towards the well-being of those who make up their coven. Dick, ALONE, had proved how absolutely futile his attempts to separate his night time and day time activities truly were. Apparently, it was detrimental to young vampires to be separated from their parents/guardians for too long. Better he trained them and supervised them himself versus having to re-experience Dick, Tim and Cass stalking him like the supernatural predators they were while doing his nightly patrols.
And if any of his children leaned a bit more into their feral nature whenever Bruce happened to get hurt on patrol, that was just kids' instincts reacting to the head of their coven being threatened. It's taken years of training, grounding and long late night discussions to convince his children to try holding back their supernatural strength and bloody acts of retribution. He still finds himself lecturing them from time to time even if he's fully aware they're all humoring him.
He still has the small collection of baby fangs that Dick had somehow roped all his younger siblings into contributing to over the years. For the life of him, he can't begin to fathom why anyone would want to collect teeth or why his children are so adamant that he holds onto theirs. But ever since he jokingly mentioned the Tooth Fairy to a horrified and offended younger Dick when his first set of baby fangs finally started coming in, it seems his children are determined to make sure no one can even attempt to think about exchanging their fangs for mere quarters.
And for the record (and despite what his children and friends keep on insisting), he never set out to actually pretend to be a "Vampire Lord." He just honestly thought designing his costume around one of his deepest fears would be a good way for him to use that fear against the criminals of Gotham.
He also won't admit that he completely forgot about the obvious association people make between bats and vampires.

Transformers: Analog Horror Style
I've been talking about this on a non fandom related Discord and decided to bring it here. There are various analog horrors that utilize non horror series such as Splatoon 3 or Jurassic Park. It felt only right to add something like Transformers to the mix.
Extraterrestrial mechanical beings who can disguise themselves as various machinery, grainy footage and videotapes that only hold clues??? Perfect material for a horror. Here's some ideas that came to mind.
Decepticons
Nowhere is safe and one wrong move can potentially be your last. The Internet is a stalking ground so post or search with caution. Lest you wind up on Soundwave's radar. This Decepticon will be happy to light up his targets for one reason: an insidious hunt for the spy master's cassettes to enjoy.
Ever seen a beautiful sports car parked by the side with a sleek blood red paint job? DO NOT TOUCH. Unless you want to meet the same fate as all the others who run afoul with Knockout.
A terror in the skies that signals disaster wherever he appears. Pray the lone jet doesn't reveal it's true form. Don't look and hope he hadn't spotted you if a glimpse occurs. Survivors of Starscream are miniscule.
Results are all that matter. Morals? Worthless. Lives? Another opportunity to experiment. Emotions? Not needed. Shockwave only serves for the cause with lethal efficiency.
It is useless to hide. This will only excite him. Run as it chips away at his boredom. Fight and he'll be merry to slaughter the lamb caught in his gaze. All Hail Megatron as humanity is nothing but a plaything.
The only way this information can get through is by the way of analog. Find these tapes at your own risk. There is no turning back the moment the video starts. Decepticons don't lose their prey easily.
Autobots
It's nearly impossible to tell if they have good intentions unlike their more violent counterparts. The Internet is a double edged sword that needs to be regarded with caution. Autobots are at a greater disadvantage than you think. What little information about them is scarce.
Communication and knowledge is minimal. Some can speak but how comprehensible they are varies. The most understandable share only broken sentences that rarely blur into inhuman language. A few offer a 'soup' of linguistics which share little to no connection. Some play by the ear but don't understand what every word means. The remainder are mute, either speaking in their language or have no voice box to respond through.
Most don't understand how humans function. A situation that has led to people being slaughtered by Decepticons, accidental harm to the innocent, or danger by their fellow man who believe they gone insane. This has led to a decision from their leader, Optimus Prime.
Human help is REQUIRED. They need a liaison if the Autobots hope to even catch up to the Decepticons. Government related officials won't do as these humans are too volatile and always under Soundwave's surveillance.
What they need is a teacher. Someone who can offer such knowledge and not marked as a person of interest to their enemies. A bystander will do.
Pay attention to the car that appears outside your driveway. Look closer at the one following behind on the road. Did another join each car? Flee foolishly and they will give chase.
If the lights behind you disappear, DON'T RELAX. The Peterbilt is coming. Avoid him as he will trap you. Stop and the chance of escape dwindles. Turning off the engine was a bad mistake. DO NOT RUN. Optimus Prime will catch you and escape is impossible.
Welcome to the war. You can't escape until one side wins. The Autobots are guardians but also prison wards to their chosen liaison. You will be protected yet caution is still advised. Welcome to this new dangerous life.
That's it for now! Until next time folks, I'll see you later. Transform and Roll Out!

Introduction: The Inner Circle—Prythian's Pinnacle of Elitism
Ah, the Inner Circle. We’ve been told they are the champions of freedom, the guardians of goodness, the leaders of a new, fairer Prythian. At the helm, Rhysand and his merry band of elite soldiers, spies, and diplomats would have us believe that they are a beacon of morality, integrity, and justice in a world rife with corruption and cruelty. But is that really the case?
The truth is, for all their talk about fairness and equality, the Inner Circle is a tight-knit clique of power-hungry elitists, operating behind closed doors, making decisions that benefit themselves first and foremost. They may wrap themselves in the guise of the protectors of the downtrodden, but at their core, they are just as hypocritical, privileged, and out of touch as any of the villains they claim to despise. In fact, they might just be worse, because they have the audacity to act as though their privilege makes them better—more enlightened, more justified in their actions.
So, let’s dissect these so-called heroes, one by one, and see just how elitist, manipulative, and self-serving they really are.
---
Argument: The Inner Circle—A Case Study in Elitism
Rhysand: The High Lord of Moral Superiority
Rhysand, the self-anointed savior of Prythian, is the poster child for disguised elitism. He masquerades as a progressive leader, but peel back the layers, and what you find is a ruler who thrives on control. Rhysand isn’t just the High Lord of the Night Court—he’s the king of moral superiority, looking down on everyone from his lofty throne of righteousness.
Sure, he says he’s for equality and freedom. He claims to fight for the good of the people. But what does he actually do? Let’s take Velaris, his perfect little utopia, hidden from the rest of the world. While Velaris flourishes, the Court of Nightmares festers in squalor and fear, serving as the dirty underbelly of Rhysand’s pristine world. He never bothers to reform Hewn City—oh no, he needs it just the way it is, a place where he can flex his power and superiority whenever it suits him. The citizens of Hewn City? Well, they don’t matter. They’re just the pawns in his game, existing to bolster his reign.
And let’s not forget his relationship with Feyre. Rhysand may parade around as the epitome of respect and love, but make no mistake: he’s always in control. From hiding their mating bond to orchestrating her role in the Night Court, Rhys pulls the strings and Feyre dances along. His actions scream “I know best,” and why wouldn’t they? He’s convinced that only he is smart enough, only he is powerful enough to do what’s necessary to save Prythian—even if it means bending a few minds, breaking a few rules, and making everyone else think it was their choice all along. Manipulation, after all, is Rhysand’s true craft, and he’s a master of making his elitism look like benevolence.
Feyre: The Nepotism Queen
Then there’s Feyre, our humble protagonist-turned-High-Lady who skyrocketed from a poor, illiterate human into one of the most powerful figures in the world. But let’s be real here—Feyre didn’t climb the ladder through hard work or merit. She fell in love with Rhysand, and with that union came a direct elevator ride to the top.
Feyre may have been born into poverty, but ever since she became High Lady, she’s lived in a bubble of privilege. Velaris is her kingdom of starlight, where she spends her days painting and redecorating her river house, while the rest of the world struggles to recover from war. Her empathy is selective at best—sure, she destroyed Tamlin’s court under the guise of justice, but did she ever stop to think about the people living there? The families who depended on their lands for survival? Of course not. Her personal vendetta against Tamlin was far more important than the lives of those fae. After all, the rules don’t apply when you’re Feyre Archeron—especially when you’re backed by the High Lord of the Night Court.
And while Feyre may now hold the title of High Lady, don’t be fooled into thinking she’s earned it through any political savvy or leadership skills. No, her place in the Inner Circle is due to one thing: her connection to Rhysand. It’s nepotism at its finest, wrapped up in a pretty bow of self-righteousness.
Cassian: The Hero with a Savior Complex
Cassian, the brute force of the Inner Circle, is constantly playing the part of the good-natured, relatable warrior. He’ll tell anyone who’ll listen about his rough upbringing in the Illyrian camps, as if that somehow makes him immune to the elitism that defines the rest of the group. But here’s the thing: Cassian may have started at the bottom, but now? He’s sitting at the top, living a life of luxury while his people—the Illyrians he’s supposed to care about—are stuck in a cycle of oppression and backward traditions.
Cassian loves to flex his power, both physical and political, while simultaneously acting like he’s just a humble servant of the Night Court. But let’s not forget that his entire identity revolves around being Rhysand’s lapdog. Sure, he’ll fight for his brothers and his court, but when push comes to shove, Cassian isn’t going to challenge the status quo. He’s too comfortable playing the hero to actually get his hands dirty with real change. His elitism is hidden beneath layers of camaraderie and bravado, but it’s there, lurking just beneath the surface.
Morrigan: The Queen of Hypocrisy
Morrigan, the moral compass of the Inner Circle, is perhaps the most hypocritical of them all. She spends centuries railing against her family’s oppressive, regressive ways, yet she remains complicit in the elitist structures of the Night Court. Mor presents herself as a champion of freedom, equality, and justice, but when it comes to taking real action? She’s as stagnant as the rest of them.
Mor’s treatment of Azriel is a prime example of her selective morality. For centuries, she’s let him pine for her, never being honest about her true feelings, all while claiming to value honesty and transparency. She preaches fairness, but when it comes to her own actions, she hides behind the convenient excuse of “complicated feelings.” The truth is, Mor is content with her position of power and privilege, and she’ll never rock the boat as long as it benefits her.
Azriel: The Silent Judge
Azriel, the brooding shadow of the Inner Circle, operates with an air of superiority that’s masked by his quiet demeanor. As the Night Court’s spymaster, he holds everyone’s secrets, wielding them like a weapon when necessary. But for all his talk of loyalty and honor, Azriel’s true allegiance is to his own sense of righteousness. He judges others from the shadows, believing that his pain and suffering give him the right to decide who is worthy and who is not.
Azriel may claim to be a humble servant, but his actions speak otherwise. He holds power over people’s lives with the information he gathers, yet he only uses it when it benefits his circle. His elitism is rooted in his belief that no one else can truly understand the burden he carries—and because of that, he places himself above everyone else, quietly deciding their fates while keeping his own cards close to his chest.
Amren: The Untouchable God-Queen
And finally, we have Amren, the literal embodiment of elitism. She’s not just better than everyone—she’s practically a god, trapped in a fae body, tolerating the rest of the world with barely concealed disdain. Amren operates on a level of superiority so blatant, it’s almost admirable. She doesn’t even try to hide it. Mortals, fae, even her so-called friends in the Inner Circle—Amren sees them all as beneath her.
Her loyalty to Rhysand is purely transactional. She sticks around because it’s convenient, but make no mistake: Amren serves Amren. She doesn’t care about the people of Velaris, or the fate of Prythian. Her elitism is so ingrained, it’s not even a character flaw—it’s simply who she is.
---
Conclusion: The Inner Circle—Elitism, Hypocrisy, and Privilege
So there you have it: the Inner Circle, a group of individuals who cloak their elitism in the guise of heroism. They claim to fight for freedom, equality, and justice, but in reality, they are a self-serving, privileged group of fae who operate above the rules they enforce on everyone else. From Rhysand’s manipulative control to Feyre’s nepotistic rise to power, from Cassian’s savior complex to Mor’s selective morality, and from Azriel’s silent judgment to Amren’s godlike disdain, each member of this circle operates within a bubble of elitism, making decisions that benefit themselves while pretending to serve the greater good.
And we’re supposed to believe they’re the good guys? They might wear the mask of Prythian’s protectors, but make no mistake—behind the starlight and shadows, they are a class of elites that operate under their own rules. At the end of the day, they’ve created their own little world, where they are always right, always justified, and always on top. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds, and their elitism? Well, it’s woven into the very fabric of their existence.
But don’t worry—they’ll still invite you to Velaris… if you’re useful enough.

AWWW FUCK
In my sleep deprived state, I have created YET ANOTHER AU by smashing together several ideas in my head, along with being inspired by @kamodofilez bells of the dammed au. Sorry for pinging you, but CREDIT IS DUE.
When am I going to run out of these oh lamb
Anyways here's the au. I call it the Regretful Hunter AU, no idea if i am going to continue with this.
In this AU, neither the lamb nor Narinder really wanted to fight.
As soon as Narinder heard the new prophecy through Ratau, he knew exactly what would happen.
Five becomes nothing? He wasn't stupid. He was going to fall too, just like all his siblings.
Good. It was what he deserved. It was what he wanted.
Narinder did the fight because he was actually tired of being the god of death, saw that the lamb was way better at being god than any of his siblings were, and wanted to pass the mantle. Of course, due to pride and family trauma, they couldn't just hand it over, so he tried to goad the lamb into killing him. He... doesn't really consider how Aym and Baal would feel about it. He forgot they were people, honestly, until it was too late to care.
The lamb, meanwhile, was totally chill with dying. They felt that they were OK at playing leader, but was ready to hand over the reins to the god that gave them the opportunity to take revenge for their people.
They were fully ready to let go, and see their family again in the afterlife. After all that had happened, they were just. So. Tired.
However, fate has ways of getting what it wants- including puppeting its victims. The lamb was conscious the whole time as they were forced to fight the person that gave them everything they had ever wanted and slay his guardians. They were just glad that they didn't have to kill him.
Narinder was less than pleased with the mercy. When the guilt of what he had done set in, he ran away from the cult before the lamb could explain what happened.
He planned on going out, finding a nice cliff with some sharp rocks at the bottom, and ending it once and for all.
Turns out, ending your life by your own hands is a lot harder than he thought. It can be pretty scary, standing at the edge.
He blames his mortality, of course.
Lamb, meanwhile, goes into a depression induced stupor, the young god just going through the motions of running a cult. ???'s arrival makes it a little easier, by giving them a goal to work towards, but they never stop hoping to find Narinder again. They know hes not dead yet.
They would feel it.
Narinder continues to survive in the forest, hunting critters using plumbata, or throwing arrows, made from stolen arrows. He goes around, surviving while cursing his cowardice, until one day he wanders through Silkcradle, looking for spiders to hunt.
Instead, he finds a panda and a skunk in mortal danger. Before, he would have let them die, for obviously if they had wanted to live then they would not have come here, doubly so for the panda who could have just never come to the lands of the old faith at all.
But now? Now he understands the fear of the end. How it can creep up on you without knowledge of its presence, how a foolish decision can seem like the best one to make in the moment.
So he saves them. They, of course, ask for his name.
He does not give it. Instead, he gives them the location of paradise, where they will be safe. When asked why he does not go there himself, he answers that "I had lost my right to that place long ago."
When Jalala and Rinor arrive at the lambs cult, they tell the lamb of the kind stranger who saved them, the cat with three red eyes.
The lamb gets excited. He's still out there. And he wishes he could be here.
They just have to talk to him.

I don't think I've ever really spoken in depth about how much I love Lauriam as a character, which is honestly a crime because out of all the Union Leaders I'd probably have to crown him as my number one favorite.
I love Lauriam not only as a character (pink, sibling plotline) but also as an example of how much prequels can recontextualize an entire character. While Ventus is also an example of this, I think we all knew that he probably had some sort of messed up past that landed him in the clutches of Old Man Xehanort. Marluxia, on the other hand, had absolute zero background to infer from his screentime. He was the villain, you're not really meant to think too hard about him and how he became who he is because he sucks and you hate him.
I don't think there were many people chomping at the bit wanting to get info about his past. Like, it would've been cool to get, but I don't think a background for Marluxia was necessary for the story at that point in time. His role was to establish the organization as a threat to Sora and the other guardians, and that was pretty much the extent of it.
And then Union X happened, and Lauriam entered stage right into a tragedy where his fate was already sealed. You look at Lauriam with his polite little smiles and cute little chibi animations and immediately think "what is this man up to" because you are already primed to distrust him on principle due to COM. Did not help his case that he was introduced in the cutscene immediately following the death of Strelitzia, painting a huge target on his back. Fandom reaction was hostile towards him before he was even fully on screen. Occam's Razor, the most obvious answer is the correct one. Lauriam is the obvious suspect because of his actions in the future, so he must be the killer. Literally him just existing in a scene caused more ire to build against him.
But then the Shift Pride cutscene happened. Then it was revealed that Lauriam and Strelitzia -the girl who so many thought he killed- were siblings, and that he was quite worried for her wellbeing, actually.
Every cutscene a clearer picture of who Lauriam is a person was painted, and soon you stopped looking at him with distrust, and it's replaced with the question of "What happened to you?". What happened that caused Lauriam, someone who has been shown to care deeply and immensely about the people he loves, someone who is willing to do anything for those people, become Marluxia? It became increasingly obvious that they were incredibly different people, even though Marluxia came from Lauriam.
And this isn't to say that there was no connection between the two. Lauriam seemed to be incredibly self-confident in his abilities, enough to be pretty steadfast in his resolve to square up with goddamn Maleficent of all people (even if he did get his ass kicked). There's also his very intense anger, as seen in the cutscene where Ventus confesses to being the reason why Strelitzia "vanished", as well as a bit in the scene where he's at Ventus's bedside.
This is all to say that Lauriam was not a necessary addition to the khux cast, he very well could've been swapped with a random new character and the plot probably would've worked fine, all things considered. But because it's Lauriam -the somebody of a character that has already been established to be a prick- it gives his whole plotline a hell of a lot more punch. If it was a new character, people probably wouldn't have been as distrusting of him right of the bat, the sibling plotline would be sweet, but because it's Lauriam and we know how he ends up in the future, it becomes a hell of a lot more tragic. How did the change happen? He's tragic because we know that whatever he does will lead to the outcome of him losing his heart and falling to darkness, something that is essentially the exact antithesis of the keyblade wielder mission statement.
Lauriam is someone who was made to struggle against the destiny that was written out for him with a neat pen and ink, and someone who was doomed to fail in every regard. He could not save his sister, he could not defeat Maleficent, he could not help Ventus, he could not keep his memories when thrown into the future. He couldn't do anything about it.
I realize this is all rounding back around to "the inherent tragedy of prequels" but it's true.
...and yeah that's basically it. I have a lot more thoughts about this guy but I feel like if I write anymore I'm just gonna sound completely incomprehensible bc I'm very tired. Thanks for reading, and don't forget to sparkle on
