not to derail, well, everything that’s been happening today, but here’s a bit of news. he’s one of us, i confirm, he’s one of us. the man who wrote some of the most autistic characters alive — the eleventh and twelfth doctors, amelia pond and clara oswald, sherlock holmes — that man is indeed autistic. who’d have guessed!

I could go completely insane about Robin Lord Taylor's version of the penguin. Like the way that character has so many layers: he's a bitch, he's a manipulator, he's super casual about torture, his biggest desire is to be loved.

He probably has one of the highest body counts but he's got more on screen hugs than any other character. He cannonically believes in ghosts and says things like "this party is the cat's pajamas!". This man made revenge and power his entire life's goal and was willing to do anything to get it and was also willing to give it up to spend his entire life in jail for an orphan he knew for like a few weeks. He ate his step siblings.
