Happy Threshold Day! Starfleet SVU is something I have been thinking about for a long while and I decided to use the holiday to kickstart it. This story takes place after Voyager gets home and features the current cast of Law & Order: SVU (season 25).

Star Trek/Lizard Babies fans, you do not need to know SVU to enjoy this fic (@liz-squids confirmed this for me). SVU fans, it would be difficult to follow without knowing Voyager and as hilarious as it would be for "Threshold" to be someone's introduction to Star Trek, I do not encourage that. If you know/like both of these very flawed series that I love very much, this fic is for you.

your boyfriend katsuki grumbles, his gaze longing on his hand. your fingers gently hold his, the brush on your hand carefully painting strokes of crimson on his nail.

“if you want a pretty design, then a while.”

he sighs and turns his head, feeling the brush swirling around his nail bed. you hum some random tune as you pick up another brush, dipped in acetone, and carefully swiping it around his cuticle.

“the hell are you doing?”

“cleaning up the design, unless you want contact dermatitis” you smile, “wouldn’t want my favorite customer to get hurt.”

“why are you suddenly doing nails anyway?”

“oh, y’know, to buy the ninja swirl, seen it on tiktok a few times.”

that’s a lie. you started doing nails in order to save up for your boyfriend’s birthday present, which was a custom license plate for his porsche. nonetheless, you think a ninja swirl would benefit you and katsuki. you set down the brush and drive his hand towards the lamp. a minute later, you retrieve it to show your boyfriend the final result.

red, orange and green decorate the explosion doodles on his nails, and you can’t help but smirk. “guess your nails are explosive, huh?”

“yeah after that joke i ain’t payin ya one penny.”

Ok wait, let me tell you.

So I had exactly enough gems and keys for a 100 pulls. Not a single gem more than that. Rook had the kindness to come really fast so I could pull for Sebek, bless his heart.

And THEN, precisely on the hundred pull, I have the green light, Sebek's voice, aaaaaaaand-

Well.

That's Sebek alright. My boy still came but uh.......

I think that's the funniest twist of fate that's ever happened to me in a gacha game.

Anyway, Sebek joins the Hall of Shame, except he's even worse than the others, because the others STILL CAME HOME!
