HEYYY GUYS quickly hopping back on here, messily taping/supergluing my art onto the blog, and then promptly skedaddling right afterwards because OH BOY I need to focus this week and lock into my animation MAP part. The time crunch has gotten real!! AUUUUU!! But I had to get this image out of my system before anything else so here ya go enjoy some solitary confinement Puzzle appreciation. I’m sorry that it’s rushed!! Maybe once I finish this MAP I’ll return and make it less janky (specifically for the animated gif here because OOF that looks rough buddy. But it’s the best I can afford to do without getting totally side tracked on my goals. It looks real lazy and is low-key triggering me but I’m letting it slide—sir is mocking my perfectionism right now. Gotta focus all that energy onto the MAP instead).

So I may or may not have spent way too much time on this! I was going for the vibe of a movie poster, because the idea of CS having one is just really cool to me.

And, of course, this is for Cryptid Sightings by the amazing @naffeclipse!! We all know the routine by now. Naff, you’ve given me brain worms beyond belief with this fic, and now the penalty is the spam I’ll inflict at every mention of it!!

I have plenty more drawing ideas for this fic stored inside my brain, but it depends on my workload how fast I can finish them. We’ll just have to see <3

Do the Minizai's and Dazai's No Longer Human nullify each other?

Might be funny, Chuuya would make Dazai levitate when he's annoying him

I'm not arguing with the funny part (actually Chuuya might be able to pull something like that even with NLH there, depending on how Dazai's ability actually interacts with it), but if they nullified each other they would no longer be nullifying each other. We would have a paradox on our hands. That would mean a singularity... or maybe nothing happens.

Singularities are rare. Most of the time, one ability will win over the other. Sometimes, nothing will happen. Hirotsu's Falling Camellia, to push back anything he touches, can beat Chuuya and Verlaine's abilities. It's not a singularity.

Not all singularities are earth-shattering. Oda and Gide's let them have an entire conversation in a fraction of a second. According to BEAST, Akutgawa and Atsushi's black claws combo is a singularity.

Dazai is living his life every day seemingly free of singularities, unafraid of contact with his own skin. Even if touching another nullifier would indeed create a paradox, my tinies are fantastical little creatures that are a sort of extension of the big ones, so my answer is a big "nothing different happens"

Now, on another note, to keep things fun we also have these:

It's still very possible for Dazai's ability to create a singularity, like anyone else, provided it's put in the right context. With BEAST, it's that their world exists inside of an ability (paradox); in Dead Apple, the abilities were separated from their hosts, so the conditions were special.

For my part, unless I have a plot point centred around said potential singularity, I'm not gonna touch those. Everyone else, go wild. I'm not even sure I've ever read a fanfic that was playing with singularities, that's a still brand new sandbox to play in. And singularities have been a known thing since Dark Era!

Everyone go come up a singularity right now. We have time to make up for.

Sooo I have parasites in my brain and they told me to do it again so here we are. Another robot

Meet Silvana my newest wretched creation. They're an actress from the 70s and are coo-coo in the head. Lore and more doodles under the cut yeah

Silvana was built in Argentina, 1971 for acting - becoming quite recognized in record time for the trait of Being A Robot. Such fame let them do as they pleased , so they started giving in to its twisted vision of love - ending up eating her partners to "become one" (robot cannibalism who cheered). Also developed ocd due to the paranoia of being followed. Don't give a bored robot money

Sometime around the late 80s , she met Rosetta (one of my other fanbots go look for her) and fell in love - twisting its entire life and personality to fit their newest object of obsession like how she usually does , but this time was different. Unlike Silvana's other partners , this time it didn't end like it usually did , as her loved one managed to escape. Consumed by obsession , she's been trying to locate Rose again , but it sure is hard as he doesn't have a set place to live. It's been years !

Nowadays , it's staying with ( @ramenwithbroccoli 's ) Bernie , who has a similar motive so they can (in their twisted way) help each other out with their "quest". They're on the run from the government or something idk I think they're queers

Stan is so confused because like. Shermie is his brother. He knows Shermie is his older brother. Everytime someone mentions Stan's brother they're obviously talking abut Shermie. Right? So why is Shermie calling up Stanford (how does Shermie know Stanford exists? So why does his brother Shermie somehow know who Stanford is? Does he know Stanley stole this random dude's identity? Except, no, Shermie thinks Stanford is his brother, which is super weird. And Stan is so absolutely baffled about this whole thing that he finds himself agreeing to Shermie's request before he can think through "taking care of a couple of kids for an entire summer"

Season 2 of midnight burger spoilers ⚠️

I think Ted (midnight burger, of the single variant) would have been branded a traitor and wanted alive or dead by the Ted empire, post-ep 20 type narrative. I mean. It makes sense no? He failed at all aspects of the job he was demanded to do, got captured, then went missing. If I was someone from the empire, I would totally think that he jumped ship. Now he’s got pirates and bounty hunters on his ass (he doesn’t have a clue why for a long time) and he’s trying to find his way back to his planet (where, again, his face is on every street corner with a gigantic wanted label plastered above it)

I’m having so many thoughts about the possibilities that I can play around with here. Ted’s my experimental little ragdoll, and this also gives me a chance to practice with some worldbuilding
