Kunikida listens attentively before remarking that he seems like a great man. That he would’ve liked to meet him and Dazai smiles and says yeah I think he would’ve liked to meet you too.

And then it cuts to Bsd Beast where Beast Kunikida and Beast Oda are finishing up a case.

It’s a mundane affair for them both. And yet for some unexplained reason they stand just that bit closer as they walk back to the Agency together.

Beast KuniOda is just yeah maybe we don’t meet in every universe. In another time we might not even know each other’s names.

But doesn’t that make what we have here all the more special?

We defied fate. We found what may just be the one place in every single universe where we exist like this.

I may not know you anywhere else but I know you here and now. And I will treasure that for as long as I am granted the privilege of knowing you.
