The only Dazai-related thing I like in Beast is that he dies, painfully, with regrets. That alone can make me get through the day with a smile.

My least favourite thing about people who say they like beast is the fact that the majority of the time their simply talking about Dazai and how he became aware of other universes(REPEAT, BECAME AWARE, ORIGINAL DAZAI DID NOT CREATE BEAST) and not what actually happens in beast.

I understand that it’s interesting, but can we focus on how Akutagawa’s missing his sister but is in a better environment? How Atsushi has practically been adopted by Mori? The possibilities of literally everyone thinking Mori is dead when he’s alive? Oda’s children still being alive and Akutagawa’s relationship with them? Akutagawa and Kenji talks? Tanizaki and Akutagawa’s dynamic?

The universe stuff is interesting but I want the people who say they’re really interested in beast to be interested in Beast. Not other universes, the Beast universe.

We need to remember the main characters are Atsushi and Akutagawa, you can say that there’s hardly any content about their beast counterparts but they’re the same people, you can use normal bsd to learn more about beast.
