            I feel like Philip is fundamentally someone who dislikes people and then looks for some deeper moral justification, rather than the other way around. Because as the Titan says, Philip isn’t genuine; He’s someone who only believes in his delusion to be the hero.

         Some stranger named Evelyn shows up? Philip hates her and when he finds out she’s a witch, he latches onto THAT explanation to justify why he wanted her dead; It’s because Evelyn was an evil witch! Not because she took time with his brother Caleb, whom Philip felt entitled towards, away from him.

         Philip HAS to be right, he HAS to have the moral high ground whenever he dislikes a person; He can’t accept that he’s in the wrong, or even that neither party is wrong, they just don’t gel with each other! Because he has to be the hero. The vindication that Evelyn was secretly an evil witch, because everyone who disagrees with him is secretly evil, was something Philip latched onto for the rest of his life.

         Oh, Lilith broke his nose? It’s because she’s an evil, selfish witch! Not because Philip lied to and endangered Lilith and her niece Luz or anything! This world doesn’t bend over backwards for him? It’s because they’re evil. It’s a convenient excuse that makes Philip feel good, rather than something as mundane as “I just don’t like them.” Or “They just don’t like me.” Or even “I have to put in the work to convince them to like me, and even then I can’t actually force it.” Because that isn’t noble and grand enough for Mr. Hero Complex.

         It feels like a Chicken or the Egg situation, with how people discuss whether Philip was informed first by his belief in Puritan scripture, which then informed his hatred, or the other way around. Me, I see it as the other way around, and I think it makes the most sense with what we see in canon, and who Philip is an allegory for (or rather, straight-up example of). He’s every Right-Wing Christian who selectively interprets the Bible to justify his hatred of queer people, while ignoring basically everything else about it; Because he isn’t being informed by the actual Bible, Philip isn’t making neutral observations and drawing together a conclusion!

         He’s already decided upon a conclusion from the start; That witches are evil. And he selectively looks for stuff that will support this, because he isn’t really a man of science, applying the scientific method. Philip is not a rational person. His own memory photos depict a skewed perception of Caleb as a happy older brother who was misled; Yet we see in S3 how gaunt and miserable Caleb actually was.

         But Philip doesn’t want to admit that Caleb was unhappy and made a decision for his own wellbeing; He’s stripping Caleb of any agency as the ideal older brother who was perfectly content with Gravesfield, basically a simple-minded sheep led astray by a false shepherd! Philip is the one removing nuance from Caleb and his story, suggesting Caleb was merely dazzled by a party trick, and not that he had legitimate problems with Gravesfield that would push him away from it.

         Philip can’t comprehend why Caleb wouldn’t choose him, why Caleb would choose anyone or anything else over his brother, it bugs him to no end; Or rather, Philip could easily understand, because he’s excellent at getting into people’s heads and figuring them out to manipulate them.

         He just doesn’t WANT to understand why Caleb did that, and so he’ll make copies of him, time and time again, until Philip settles upon a Caleb who provides the answer he wants to hear; That Caleb not only agrees, but will always choose Philip, even over himself. But Philip will never get what he wants, because he doesn’t want Caleb but an idea of him that never actually existed. He doesn’t want a person, just a mindless automaton, basically an Abomination.

         He is quite literally haunted by the awareness, deep down, that HE is the one who did something wrong; Hence the ghosts, because Caleb’s opinion mattered the most (even if not much at all), so it’s the one he’s most obsessed with disproving/convincing. This man needs to be told he’s right, either by the brother who supported and raised him, or by fellow human Luz. That’s why he shows Luz and Hunter the truth in his memories, because Philip needs someone to see what he did and agree with him, but they never can because of the very nature of it. He’s so insecure he wants approval from people even as he kills them.

         Philip secretly knows he’s the bad guy, so it’s not a matter of realizing it, it’s admitting and changing his actions in response to that, which he’ll never do. He feels judged by Caleb and the Grimwalkers, like a child that’s messed up and is hiding the evidence of his wrongdoing, because he secretly fears some sort of punishment. Because while I don’t consider Philip a true believer, it’s inevitable that he internalized some Puritan ideas about the world.

         He’s still a kid whose understanding of morality is informed purely by the Carrot and the Stick, whether he’ll benefit, or whether he’ll be punished; Rather than any deeper attempt to engage with people out of legitimate compassion or understand them, because it all circles around to what happens to Philip at the end of the day. This wouldn’t be so inherently wrong if observed in a child, but the problem is that Philip is a grown man well past his natural lifespan, who never bothered to learn beyond this.

         I remember seeing some people point to Philip’s long hair as proof he was an outcast who didn’t fit in, a tragic weirdo indoctrinated by society. But I wonder if it’s more along the lines of… Philip is a hypocrite, who doesn’t actually believe in his society’s norms; He’ll just cherry pick what they say to support his own beliefs. But he makes an exception for himself, like Republicans who push for homophobic legislation, yet are revealed to be homosexual themselves. 

        Philip isn’t motivated by real principles, just whatever is convenient to him at the moment, because it’s all about him and other people basically don’t really exist; They’re more dolls or NPCs than actual, breathing people with their own perspectives and dreams, just like Philip. As a result, he is every child who sees themselves as the center of the universe, and can’t comprehend why other people wouldn’t prioritize this obvious purpose. He is Luz, King, or the Collector, if they never learned to care about other people or understand their point of view; Instead, they only care about what people can do for them, rather than the people themselves.

I need something to post cos I really don't feel like drawing, so here take my head canons about the personality of each of the Henry paths.

I am also not a shipper (personally shipping people is heckin weird)

Triple Threat- Mr Cheerful, goes along with Charles's plan, likes to chill, best buds with Ellie and Charles, but has a serious side you really shouldn't touch.

Valiant Hero- Mostly depressed since Charles was really his only friend, and is very sensitive about him. Breathe one bad word about Charles and TT may give you a glare, but VH will knuckle punch you in the face and demand you apologise.

Cleaned 'em Out- Friendly and laidback, he doesn't worry much at all, and a master tech Wizz because he was bored one day, doesn't flaunt his riches much, but clear signs of wealth.

Special Brovert Ops- The cheerfullest guy, can do some crazy stunts with Charles, enthusiastic as hell, everyone else mildly dislikes him as he can be really annoying. Surprisingly(or not) VH likes him.

Toppat King- Smug Rich Guy™ No.1, likes annoying R and T4L, but is really good with guns (aimbot on?). Is surprisingly good at negotiating when not actively being annoying.

Toppat 4 Life- Smug Rich Guy™ No.2, is very cold, can come up with killer comebacks. TK ignites his cold heart and they argue needlessly about the dumbest things. Secretly very smug that he runs the clan by himself. Don't bring it up because he can drone on and on and on.

Revenged- Severe anger problems, is no stranger to threats, cold and stoic. Had a mental breakdown when he was revived, but otherwise shows little emotions other than anger. Secretly a sarcasm master, but doesn't show it much. He is very aggressive towards the Toppats.

Toppat Civil Warfare- Is the mediator because no-one else is. Calms down R when he has his bouts of anger. Is the definition of 'when a therapist needs therapy'. Also is a little terrified that Ellie may be brought up.

Stickmin Space Resort- Smug Rich Guy™ No.3, is cocky, but is a master at pleasing others. Lives in his uniform. He often deals with Karens and so hides his anger very well. He has a strict bar, that which you cross, say bye-bye.

Jewel Baron- Smug Rich Guy™ No. 4. He loves to party and is the most obnoxious and annoying out of all of them. But really, he's just depressed, and uses 'party!' to hide it. No-one truly gets him. Can be mature once in a blue moon. Except when there’s a gem involved. He will be dead set on obtaining it.

Pardoned Pals- Has a comfortable life much like CeO, just minus the riches. Best friends with Ellie and is overall very calm. He's the local friend as he is quite neutral and is very friendly.

Toppat Recruits- Mostly friendly but can come off a bit cold, a bit snarky, and very fixated on stealing the ruby and emerald. Respects JB (doesn't know that JB abandoned Ellie).

Master Bounty Hunter- The scariest of them all(R is actually stronger but a machete carried around by a guy whose stare can petrify a criminal is really scary). Has taken up smoking but isn't addicted. Skilled in apprehending people. Has developed a ‘tough guy’ attitude.

Little Nest Egg- The most quiet of the bunch. Despite his riches, he doesn't show it at all. Good at quick decision making and often the most forgotten Henry as he tends to stay back. Also good at surviving in jungles. He does sometimes throw a bag of coins at the Toppat leaders when they argue. PLANT NERD

Capital Gains- Smug Rich Guy™ No.5. Often provides snide remarks, but doesn't speak up much. He makes his connection to Ellie obvious, so TCW avoids him the most. He is also laidback, to a lesser extent.

Free Man- The most 'average' of the Henries. He is extremely good at escaping tough situations. A surprisingly smooth talker once you force him to share his thoughts. He's able to stay calm, even through the weirdest situations, also has probably changed the least out of all the Henries.

Myself and Asexuality

Yeah, so this is a lil rant about my relationship as being a grey ace girl.

For the longest time, I wasn't attracted to guys, the other way like my peers and I couldn't relate. All my crushes were all romantic and shit but sometimes I do feel the other attraction and sometimes I won't feel it for a month then boom, it comes, and it makes me so uncomfortable. And even I, an older sophomore couldn't believe that people younger than me already freaky ahh thoughts and I didn't.

Other older aces have told me, hey, you might just a late bloomer and did agree because I did feel it but, hey it never strayed that far sometimes and I found myself desiring guys a lot then poof, it goes away.

By then, I used to identify as closely as heteroromantic Grey Ace then.

Right now, I did feel more allo today, but it was still not as wild or intense.

Don't get me wrong, guys, being ace is a SPECTRUM, a very broad and diverse one. Your experiences might not be the same as other people though and that's okay, it's your journey and your trip, hey, you might be wrong, or you might be right, or you might be right.

Try different labels to see if it fits, if it does brava and if it doesn't it's a oh kay.

Well, to dive in deeper to my experiences. It is my experience with grey asexuality, Aspecs are valid and Arospecs are valid.

I would DNF a book if it's completely filed with NSFW content, I feel very bad about this thought as a reader, I love romance and I crave hand holding, movies and couple stuff but if the couple are constantly at each other, I would DNF the book.

I was once into a very good book, but the content was too much for me but hey, what about the cute moments, I enjoyed it Tho. The laughers sweet face and the cats. Don't forgot the pets.

So yeah.

Ace and Aspec people can love and enjoy content like that. That doesn't mean their less or not ace. Fiction is different from reality; this is just me. Every ace person is different.

I cannot get into NSFW manhwas again unless, it is cute and fluffy and romantic and censored, then I'll enjoy it by scrolling. It's too intense, ew the making out. Or l will overlook it like a mean girl.

On top of that, figuring out that I am probably very huge probably bisexual or biromantic, complicating my feelings because as for girls is either aesthetic attraction, nervousness or staring then boom goes the bomb, the other way.

Personality

Though Lee has the makings of an overlord, he gains most of his power through appearing unassuming. He comes off as shy and skittish, yet, secretly, he is extremely observant of the people around him and chooses his actions carefully. He isn't afraid to call others out on the ways they lie or try to conceal their true selves, and may even use this to his advantage. That being said, he dislikes screwing others over unless they truly deserve it.

History

Initially, Lee was terrified upon arriving in Hell. He immediately experienced sensory overload and had a panic attack, realizing exactly where he was. Thankfully, Husk bumped into Lee curled up on the sidewalk and brought him back to the hotel. Lee was extremely reclusive and it took him quite a while to become comfortable with the other hotel residents, Alastor taking interest in Lee during this time.

The two end up "marrying" each other through a mutually beneficial deal, though the details of this deal are unclear.

Now, having adjusted and found a place at the hotel, he's regained some confidence thanks to his relationship with Alastor, but he is still afraid to go outside.

Personality Felicitas is known as a temperamental woman who can't sit still and will do things in her own way. She has an obsession with justice because of what happened to her in the past.

I got on reddit a couple of months ago and I discovered that while many people are neutral about bts or even dislike them, most of them are really polite and nice about it, and most discourse about bts is in a positive or neutral light. It's not like twitter where they call them flops in every 2 tweets. So it's similar to tumblr because people can have normal conversations (most of the time) about kpop groups there. Of course there are trolls and straight up haters there too but they either get downvoted very hard or deleted so it's I think better. Anyway my point is that I go on reddit today to see what people are talking about because I only check reddit like 2-3 times a week. And the first post is literally someone asking why bighit is pushing jikook out of all the ships.. And I just sat here blinking at the screen because... Really? We are having this conversation AGAIN? It wasn't even in the bangtan channel/sub, it was in a kpop sub where you can talk about any group. But then I read the whole post and it was very clear OP was one of those people who don't watch official content and just lives off of clips that are posted in the first 24 hours. There are not a lot of comments right now but all of them are very normal and lowkey calling out OP for being stupid so I upvoted all of them 😂

But like every fucking time a DVD comes out and we have footage from multiple days or even months and we see jikook hanging out and do their thing, EVERY DAMN TIME we have this same ass conversation. Every time it's fanservice every time it's "why are they together" every time it's "why is bh pushing them" MF IT'S BEEN YEARS OF THIS. Don't these people think that if you see them, CONSISTENTLY hang out with each other EVERY YEAR, don't you think that maybe... Just maybe they like hanging out and being in each others company???

Even if you take shipping completely out of the picture. Like don't you think its fucking weird to see two people who have known each other for 11 years, went through some insane shit together and even more that WE as FANS probably don't even know about, they clearly support and love each other and like hanging out with each other... And then you go on social media and tweet: "why do people, who are friends, spend time together?" DO YOU EVEN HEAR YOURSELF. I need someone to go up to these people when they are out with their friends and ask them if they secretly hate each other and only hang out just to please their parents or something.

You don't need to ship jikook to see they like each other. You don't need to ship taekook to see they like each other. You don't need to ship anyone in bangtan to see that they love each other to the moon and back. These men are in each others asses 24/7 but sure, the company is pushing them to do fanservice because they don't make enough money or something. Whether you (not you specifically) think jikook or taekook or yoonmin or anyone is dating or not, that's your business. If you ship them, you ship them, if you don't, you don't. But you literally cannot fucking walk up to me, look me in the eye and tell me they don't like each other. These boys are first and foremost FRIENDS And if you see any of them together, it's because THEY WANT TO SPEND TIME WITH EACH OTHER.

I don't know why it's so hard for some people to understand this. Maybe because fanservice is a normal? thing in Korea and I'm sure many groups are doing it. But I checked OPs post and comment history and they follow bts for a while now so they have to know that the tannies have moved past/moved away from doing typical kpop things loooooong ago. They are not your typical kpop group. Two members hanging out with each other in front of or behind camera is not fanservice. At first? Finn is neutral to Jack. He doesn't know this fluffy first year at all, and he's quiet enough so that's fine. He gets some amusement out of it when Jack is roped into Chapter 3's chaos, but that is quick to fade after the destruction of Azul's contracts.

He's pissed. He's so so pissed and the neutrality towards Jack is absolutely shattered, and he has it out for this guy almost as much as Leona, Yuu, Grim Ace, and Deuce.(Finn is not very mentally stable atp so..)The only reason he isn't as angry with Jack is cause Jack was kinda just swept up in things most of the time, and he's not malicious. If there's any possible opportunity to make Jack suffer, even if it's just an inconvenience, Finn is going to take it.

Jack finds Finn creepy and untrustworthy and dislikes him almost just as much as the Octavinelle trio. When Finn used Ace's voice to lure him and the others right to the tweels, it was almost like something out of a thriller. The way Finn honest to Seven tried to blast them after Azul's overblot did not help matters.

Unfortunately, neither of them like each other at all. It is unfortunate because if it weren't for Azul's OB, they would've had a chance of getting along.

He finds Epel kinda funny, to be honest. He's not sure what is specifically, but he finds Epel really entertaining. He does appreciate Epel's ambitions, even of he may or may not think it's... odd. He talks about Epel with Vil a number of times, and can understand the potential Vil sees in him. Finn is curious to see what this little potato will grow into.

Epel, meanwhile, is cheering to the rooftops because, oh, Great Seven, there's finally someone shorter than him around! He doesn't mock Finn for his height, but he has a habit of pointing out Finn's shortness when other people are around, as some kind of way to 'prove' he's not the smallest.

Other than that, the creepy vibes he gets from Finn does freak him out, and he wonders if Finn is secretly some kind of fae to give off those vibes. He attempts to challenge the other first years to "poke" Finn, although that never went anywhere.

Finn is neutral to Epel apart from some mirth at his antics, and Epel is really freaked out by him.

Oh. Oh, Finn does not like Rook. No no no nope nope, please, for the love of god, get this creepy human away from him. Rook calling him 'beauté silencieuse' was something that threw him off once he figured out what it meant, as he's unused to being referred to in a positive light, nevermind being called beautiful, by strangers, especially humans.

He found Rook's antics entertaining when he first came to NRC, and even interesting since he learned a few things, but when Rook started stalking Jade, Floyd and Azul, Finn was protective and weary, and honestly considering eating him.

When the stalking extended to him, it was really awful because the feeling of eyes on him/being watched triggered a panic attack. He despises Rook and frequently implies to Vil that he should be stripped of his position as vice dorm leader.

Rook, in true Rook fashion, finds Finn utterly fascinating. A quiet, unconfrontational (is that a word?) student, a walking mystery. Yes, he feels that sense of dread just like everyone else, but all it does is fuel his curiosity and need to know more about Finn. Finn, so we'll behaved an poised, with a restrained violent and sadistic side that made Rook's skin tingle.

And when he discovered Finn was an incredibly rare species of shark mer: a cookie cutter shark? Ohhh, he doubled his efforts to learn. He was delightfully surprised to discover that Finn was romantically involved with those three Octavinelle students. Why, love is such a beautiful thing, is it not? He is excited to observe the four of them and their unique ways of showing love further.

Finn is considering turning himself into sushi (this is a joke), and Rook is endlessly fascinated and curious. Send help. Please.

Season 2 and Assumptions - Part 1

More random thoughts on Good Omens Season 2, trying to get through the hyperfixation! (Stay with me, this got longer than I planned.)

I'm starting to see the entirety of season 2 as one big allegory for the dangers of making assumptions. Crowley and Aziraphale have known each other for so long, cared for each other for so long, that they have begun to assume they know all of the other person's motivations without actually ever talking to each other about, well, anything substantial. I don't think it's intentional, after all they've been acting as secretly neutral agents in a cosmically large cold war for literal millennia. They were forced to communicate through implications and hints. Guarded looks. Secret phrases. Never able to just clearly say what's really on their minds on the off-chance one of their Head Offices were listening. Being forced to make assumptions about what the other person was trying to say without saying.

The problem is that they never break those communication habits, even after the Nopocalypse when they were nominally free of the two head offices. Six millennia of paranoia doesn't go away that easily. And let's face it, they never really give each other a reason to doubt the assumptions they have made about one another. We the viewers see it, but Crowley and Aziraphale don't.

One of the most destructive assumptions (if we take episode 6 at face value) is Aziraphale's assumption that Crowley is just "holding a grudge" against Heaven, because he was literally demonized for asking questions. There is a secondary assumption that goes along with this - Crowley was happiest as an angel, consistently does the "right" (Aziraphale reads that as Good) thing and dislikes Hell, therefore must want to be an angel again deep down and it's just the grudge holding him back. Aziraphale doesn't have a frame of reference for how Crowley truly changed when he Fell, intrinsically changed from angel to demon. Trauma changes you - Crowley tells Aziraphale he's not the same angel he was before, but Aziraphale just kind of brushes it off because he is lacking that frame of reference.

We see these assumptions at play in Season 2. In Episode 1, Aziraphale doesn't see anything suspicious about Crowley's obviously large trauma reaction to Gabriel. Doesn't ask him why Crowley has such an immediate negative reaction, why he is so adamantly against having Gabriel anywhere near them. Instead, Aziraphale gets sulky about Crowley's refusal to help Gabriel, because he assumes it's just Crowley's "Heaven grudge" rearing its head again. Crowley couldn't possibly have a valid reason to be having a trauma reaction to Gabriel and there's no reason to ask him about it, because Aziraphale has already assigned the motivation of "grudge against Heaven" to every reaction Crowley has regarding Heavenly-related matters.

Then in Episode 6 (again, assuming we take it at face value and knowing this will age poorly if Season 3 materializes), Aziraphale can't comprehend why Crowley would refuse Heaven. Through the lens of his assumptions, Crowley's refusal to be together with Aziraphale in Heaven can only be because Crowley's "grudge against Heaven" is more powerful than his love for Aziraphale. After all, he "knows" that Crowley was happiest as an angel and wants that back, right? Reinforced by their conversation after Job that Crowley didn't really support Hell, which means he must secretly still support Heaven?

Let's add another assumption into the mix - Aziraphale assumes that he will always take the Good and Correct action because he is an angel, and that's how angels were designed, right? Even after Job - his faith in the Great Plan may have gotten tarnished a bit, but Crowley's refusal to take him to Hell just reinforces that Aziraphale had done the right thing because he was still an Angel, not because it was the right thing to do in that particular situation.

So in Season 2, we see Aziraphale doing things that are distinctly grey, morally, but seeing them as Good because Aziraphale himself, a pure Good angelic being, is the one doing them. Pushing Nina and Maggie together, not because Maggie was suffering unrequited love, but because it made a good excuse for the Gabriel-hiding miracle. Aziraphale may have told himself it was Good for Maggie, but his initial (and I will go so far as to say overall) motivation had nothing to do with making Maggie or Nina happy. Maggie and Nina were at best a happy by-product of Aziraphale's need to cover for Gabriel.

Aziraphale uses coercion to get his way without thinking twice about it. The most obvious is changing all of the shopkeeper's clothes and personalities to suit his Jane Austen Ball, but he also uses emotional coercion to get Crowley to lend him the Bentley. It should have been very obvious that Crowley did not want to lend the Bentley out, but Aziraphale wanted it, and manipulated Crowley's friendship to get it. "Our car" and "our bookshop" may seem romantic and brave, and maybe they are, but using them in that context is also crazy manipulative. But Aziraphale's an angel! He doesn't "coerce and manipulate" his friend, he "asks nicely and stands his ground" until Crowley's resistance crumbles. And then he makes changes to the Bentley without asking permission! Aziraphale really strays as far from his Angelic ideals as he's ever been this season.

Okay, I think that's enough about the negative effects of assuming things on Aziraphale - next time, I'll tackle the assumptions made by Crowley that have equally negative effects on their relationship.

What character alignment would you give to each Yotsuba member? True Neutral, Chaotic Evil etc.

just a disclaimer, i'm no expert on dnd alignments, lmao. i kind of just read a gamerant article to remind myself what they are. i do, however, have many yotsuba opinions...

i'll go ahead and say that none of them, in canon, fit into the "good" category imo. some of them might be pleasant and even sometimes compassionate, but in order to be as rich as they are, you have to hoard a certain amount of wealth, which is selfish by default and pretty much defines who they are. i like the idea of shimura and possibly others becoming more good-aligned after the kira debacle, but they don't have very long to do that considering the murder. none of them are very chaotic, either, so it comes down to either neutral or evil/lawful. so...

higuchi is neutral evil. he murders without regret and while he has some idea of personal morals and what have you, ultimately he's not devoted to much other than his own gain.

namikawa is proooobably also neutral evil? he's not evil on as big a scale as higuchi - i don't think he'd kill anyone if left to his own devices - but he's out for himself and fundamentally doesn't care if others are hurt for the sake of his career.

ooi is... lawful evil, i think. he has, in my opinion, a certain idea of duty regarding his place in yotsuba, and this influences his thinking during the kira debacle. he very actively participates in the meetings and doesn't seem to have any issues killing competitors - although i don't think he's thrilled to kill hatori. he's relatively less evil than namikawa.

mido is just plain neutral (i would say true neutral, but i've been led to believe by my dnd friends that true neutral actually means something else). follows rules but only out of necessity and has no personal reverence for them; takes part in the meetings of death out of necessity but is secretly against it and dislikes killing others.

takahashi is also just neutral for similar reasons to mido. i think he's a better person because he was more obviously opposed to kira and was visibly disturbed by hatori's death, but not enough to get himself a spot in the good category. another victim of capitalism...

shimura is lawful neutral. although he has, like, some amount of morals and could become a good person, he isn't majorly motivated by compassion or selflessness in any meaningful way. he is very much a stickler for following rules... and the law... not that it did him much good...

kida is lawful neutral. he's very, very big on rules when it's up to him and cares about thinks like structure and consistency. i put him in neutral because i don't think he's thrilled to be killing people, but he could be put in evil; we can't really tell based on canon whether he likes the yotsuba kira or is just hiding his misgivings. personally i go with the latter, but otherwise i'd put him in lawful evil. he's definitely not the most pleasant guy.

hatori is neutral. although he does support kira, i feel like he's just in over his head and doesn't realize the gravity of what's going on rather than being malevolent like the other kira supporters in the group. he's basically out for himself but doesn't particularly want to hurt others.

ABC boys as rockstars

Miyako: long and straight black hair, red lips, pale skin, long skirts and blouses, expensive jewelry, warm hugs, deep voice, kimonos, neutral colors, eyes crinkling while laughing, hands on hips and steady eye contact

Izumi: blond hair, black leather jackets, chunky combat boots, cigarettes, dark eye makeup with heavy eyeliner, long black nails, raised eyebrows, monotone voice, empty bottles of liquor, dark lipstick

Kaoru: short black hair, streetwear, abs, lips pulled up in a cocky smirk, cropped tops and baggy pants, cartilage piercing, junk food, carefree and blunt, toned legs, loud snorts of laughter

Sakuno: long and wavy brown hair, mini skirts and dresses, cherry blossoms, hair clips, giggling behind the hand, puppy dog eyes, blushing cheeks, heart shaped sunglasses, lots of pink with shades of red

Chitose/Izumi:

Izumi learns about Chitose through her friend, Maria. After Chitose casually breaks up with Maria, the darker haired girl goes in a spiral, which unfortunately the media has a blast with. Izumi personally witnessed Maria’s breakdown, seeing her get constantly plastered in dingy bars and get into fights. So it’s safe to say that Chitose is her least favorite member of a group she already dislikes

Chitose being Chitose, doesn’t take her too seriously at first. She’s a hot girl, who’s in a group with other hot girls, so he’s having a tough time to pick his favorite right away (if he had it his way, he’d definitely have a fivesome with the entire group lmao)

even when he notices her cold attitude towards him, he still doesn’t take her that seriously. Ignoring her insults, he would have a lazy smirk on his face while cornering her against the wall

Chitose is honestly impressed when he learns about Izumi’s body count, trying to coax her into a competition on who gets laid the most

Izumi scoffs at first but slowly starts to warm up to him, finding him fun to be around. They soon start to party together, where they definitely hooked up once, twice, or maybe even more

Chitose would entertain other girls, which would bother Izumi just a little bit, before she brushes off her feelings and hooks up with other guys, which chitose definitely notices

Mikoto/Totsuka

To be honest, they will be more of a minor/supporting pair since this au focuses more on the abc boys

But I like the idea of the nation’s sweetheart secretly fucking his hot ceo lmaooo

Like just imaging all these interviews and tabloids trying to see if Totsuka is dating any other idol, and how he apparently seems to hover near this female idol a lot at award shows, only for him to be sucking on Mikoto’s dick while kneeling under his desk

but sex aside, while both are good friends with kusanagi, there was always a more intimate connection between mikoto and totsuka

secretly, mikoto would overspend the company’s budget by trying to get the best stylists and staff for totsuka, wanting him to succeed and reach his goal

but as totsuka gets even more famous, and gets even more praise, mikoto can’t help but feel that he’s getting farther away from his grasp. theyre barely able to get a glimpse of each other in the company building, let alone meet each other in his apartment, because of totsuka’s packed schedule

and it doesn’t help that the less he saw totsuka, the more totsuka is seen publicly interacting with other celebrities who are enamored with him

so here's the thing. you have hordes and hordes of (british and otherwise) young drivers who have over the years joined the f1 ranks and literally kiss lewis's feet, making their hero worship very much public. notable childhood fanboy went-to-have-his-book-signed george russell even becomes teammates with lewis, right? but lewis barely gives these people (including george despite being his teammate) any attention. which like, sure, fair. when every kid in a kart grew up idolising you and ur middle aged ass can barely rmbr their names i understand why they'd start to all blend into each other

but then you have lando, who for lewis represents part of the nostalgia and affection he still holds for mclaren (who he always makes sure to compliment when they are successful), and also very likely also reminds lewis of a younger version of himself: aside from random similarities like a tooth gap or dyslexia or lando beating a bunch of lewis's junior records, lando is also young, fast, brash, blunt, has a tendency for bitchiness, is into pop culture / art more than most drivers, etc. so lewis, naturally, pays more attention to lando than any of the others in the young guard: congratulates him and mclaren at every opportunity, even once literally while inside the car, engages in conversation with him, finds him funny, etc. after lando got the p2 in silvo last year, it was actually rly funny how lewis went ham with the insta stories out of happiness

this is very entertaining to see because ostensibly, lando seems to be neutral at best, resentful at worst towards lewis. he has a track record of being dismissive of lewis's achievements (like saying he is not impressed by lewis breaking schumacher's win record considering how dominant the mercedes had been for years). he also, as a friend of max's, was one of the few people who didn't necessarily root for lewis in 2021, ultimately admitting (to ziggo tbf) that he wants max to win, then publicly supporting / congratulating max after abu dhabi. so the dynamic is interesting, this like god-among-men figure who only seems to like the one guy who's least impressed by him. there's even a chance that lando's lack of ass kissing is one of the reasons lewis finds him appealing

but here's the problem: lando IS secretly a lifelong lewis fanboy like all the others, he just has too big an ego to admit it. for years lando has told the story of falling in love with f1 and mclaren in 2007, cheering for them on track. but he... never mentions WHO he was rooting for. and considering how he has no issue playing the mentor-protege dynamic with fernando, i don't think he'd have an issue admitting it if he was rooting for fernando. but like. he was an english boy watching f1 in 2007. he was not rooting for fernando. there's no way he wasn't cheering for lewis

so i always had the suspicion that, because lando's formative f1-watching years involved lewis in a mclaren (who we know were lando's favourite team), he definitely had some sort of lingering feelings of being starstruck by lewis, but it tracks with his personality that he wouldn't want to own up to it. and, as it often happens, lando proved me right: last year, on a stream with max fewtrell, lando gushed about this one person he went golfing with, acting like he couldnt believe this person would even join his golf game, and generally fangirling to max. we later find out (i think through lewis himself posting about it, lando wasn't planning for it to b. publicised) that the person lando was treating like a celebrity who shocked him by agreeing to hang out with him was lewis. all along. ALL along lando was that guy, but he's done such a good job pretending he isn't that people nowadays genuinely believe lando hates / dislikes lewis. i literally once said smth abt lando secretly liking lewis in the tags of a post and got an anon calling me delusional abt it. they killed jesus because he told the truth etc.

anyways lando/lewis is appealing to me because it's a story of egos and mirrors and veiled intentions... it's a story about trying to live up to someone's legacy when that person is not done writing it... it's a story of lando losing out on his first win in sochi and giving lewis his hundredth... of lando losing out on a possible first home win in silverstone by giving lewis his ninth, literally breaking the record of victories on any single f1 track. of lando attempting to be a champion for mclaren (replacing lewis as the last mclaren wdc) except lewis is fighting him while he tries. all the while lewis is almost as happy watching lando succeed as he is while succeeding himself

With this, Carla can take on any form/shell of anyone she knows, and by doing so, the person he turns into loses their voice. And in turn, Carla can use their UM once. As for how long, Carla can only take on this shell for no more than two hours.

Any damage done to the shell, damages him as well.

🐚 Relationships ! 🐚

Vil doesn’t like Carla too much, because of her UM, Carla likes to use it to tease and/or mock his housewarden by shifting into Neige or himself. But Vil cannot get too mad since other than their jokes, Carla’s record is squeaky clean, always up to standard with looks and grace (outside of their dorm). However Vil doesn’t appreciate the secrecy that Carla lies in, but she does help with rowdy dormmates when Rook cannot. Overall neutral-neutral.

Rook and Carla are good acquaintances, friends even. They got along well in all their years together, building a fun bond that makes the others students nervous due to their mischievous and mysterious antics. They’re iconic in their own way, often exchanging fun stories at lunch or passing periods. If you piss off one, don’t be surprised when the other appears right after you. This pair is chaotic-good.

Epel was initially scared of Carla, already put off and pissed with their housewarden, Epel didn’t want to know what his classmates were like. But soon Epel started to enjoy and appreciate Carla for their personality, always giving them a heads up on where to pay more attention to, when Vil is going to see him so Epel and can straighten up. Carla finds the freshman cute, but always stops himself out of respect, earning respect from Epel. But thats not to say that he hasn’t seen Carla being sketchy at times. They are neutral-good.

Trey and Carla had shared class together in their second year, leading them to be on pretty good terms, though Trey has heard rumors and things about those who cross Carla. So he decides to be a bit more picky with his words around his, secretly, he doesn’t see what the others see when they say that Carla is a threatening figure, especially since his peer is literally in a relationship with her. It’s a close lawful-good.

Cater and Carla have been very good friends ever since the second half of their first year, starting out by just simply being Magicam follower mutuals. They would often bump into each other at popular venues that were/are trending on the internet. Eventually they would just plan to meet up, sharing many pictures and just as much time with each other, rumors in both dorms would spread that the two were dating before they even were. Cater fell first, but Carla arguably fell harder. Good-chaotic (or love chaotic idk).

Leona and Carla.. what a pair. The two are frenemies at best and a chaotic duo at worst, wreaking havoc when they’re both feeling mutually pissed. They share PE classes for two years straight, so they’ve been accustomed to the other’s antics, they often get into cat fights while broom stick flying, swerving into each other like this is some car race, do not put these two in the same dorm ever. The two share the same energy of chaotic-evil.

Idia and Carla do not interact very much, but Carla adores his little brother and often socializes with him, so if you mixed that with the faint rumors about Carla (and Rook at times), with Ortho’s positive opinions about the student, Idia is just left with: whatever she’s a normie, its not like we’d get along anyway. Carla doesn’t mind, she knows what it’s like to be overwhelmed by simply being in social places. On both ends, neutral-neutral.

Lilia has only really seen Carla when he visits his partner at the music club, catching glimpses of raw affection between the two, often saying old man things like “oh young love”, and so on. Lilia never cared for the words that were spread about Carla, his moments with Cater already tells a lot on how the Diasomnia student should perceive her. Maybe surprisingly, lawful-good.

Malleus and Carla are simply seatmates in the back of the classroom, they don’t interact too much but they’re not awkward when one has a question. Carla nearly choked on air when he saw that THE Malleus Draconia was in his class. On the rare occasion that they do have a conversation, it’s always Carla’s teasing nature with Malleus’s “mhm yes” nature. Overall neutral-positive.

🐚 Back story 🐚

Carla was an only child with biological parents. She was born and raised in Briar Valley, her mother having some blood from the Coral Sea.

Carla’s father line had an ongoing business of jewelry, passed down from generation to generation. Carla, ever since he was young, he had admired and loved his father very much.

Carla learned emotions, craft, the human mind, from his dad, which now saying out loud doesn’t sound right… does it?

And Carla had a great life at school, in middle school she was happy and thriving with his group of close friends, everything was great! until…

Carla’s father was found a fraud and a scammer. Taken away from his family, Carla was horrified to learn that someone she looked up to for so long and loved, was someone unworthy of love.

But Carla will never ever forget what that man told her before he was taken to jail.

Carla hated that so much, and because the main income for money had disappeared for the Coquille family, and so was their reputation, Carla and her mother delved into borderline poverty.

The kids at school didn’t make this anymore easy, in the short month that Carla stayed at school before leaving cause of financial ruin, they bullied and harassed Carla for simply having an asshole for a dad.

During the years of poverty, Carla lived among the worst, seeing what his dad told him into play, seeing the desperate, the ugly, the cursed, she knew it all. from her dad.

he really is daddy’s kid.

Eventually, Carla and his mom had survived and found a new place to start over, leading Carla to have a makeover, physically and mentally.

Carla refuses to talk about his past with anyone, lying and keeping everyone away from him out of fear for them and himself.

Carla is scared that he’ll be like his father, since he is daddy’s kid.

I put the description of the weapon next to the names, so you can have an idea of what's to come [in case anyone's uncomfortable with certain weaponry]. Asmo's part is a little suggestive, so please skip if you are uncomfortable.

Lucifer – Dagger

Lucifer thought he knew you, but apparently he didn't anticipate that his lover was capable of handling themselves amongst even the wildest demons

He was with Diavolo, and that's when Belphegor reported an instance of some monsters that were let loose, and he was quick to get anxious that you were at the location of the rampage

He didn't care for any instructions, he had to ensure your safety first. Diavolo allowed it, trusting Lucifer's abilities to settle the situation

It surprised the Avatar of Pride to find his lover in the midst of the battle, slashing away at the beasts. You didn't kill any, since you didn't have demonic magic but Lucifer was still astonished that you could hold them off

After the scuffle, Lucifer held you up, brushing his hands over your skin to check for any wounds. You found his visible confusion adorable, "Oh? Are you impressed?" you laughed, combing the stray hairs away from his face.

He was quick to readjust himself, giving you a tender smile only you would ever see. "Very much so, my love."

Mammon – Axe

Sure, he'd usually fool around with his goldie but he never took you seriously when you asked him to get you an axe. It was a purchase that was excused by Lucifer, to Mammon's relief. Still, he was sure that the axe wasn't just for decoration…

Mammon planned to spend the evening in your room, and he was running late since he forgot the snacks for your date night. Sounds of breaking glass only made him panic, as he thought for your safety

What he didn't expect was to see his darling with an axe in hand, looming over two pesky demons and huffing at them

The demons were perverts peeping in your room, and of course you had to settle them. The only thing now was Mammon fearing what you'd do if he misbehaved...

The demons were quickly settled with, and soon Mammon and you were wrapped in comfy blankets, cuddling with each other close. "Hey..." He started. "You won't ever use that thing on me right?"

All you could offer was a smile. "Hmm... Who knows if you behave, my Mammon?" The teasing never ended, but Mammon grew a habit of showing off your axe skills to anyone shortly after.

Leviathan – Mace

Levi and you got along for your knowledge of games, but there was also no exception to the merchandise. You were floored that Levi got you a usable replica of one of your favourite weapons form the game Dark Spirits

The usable part was only meant to be a feature, but he'd never expected you to utilise it...

Henry the Snake was misbehaving, so of course Lucifer told him to settle it. You came along, bringing your mace with you 'to defeat the labyrinth' as you said

Henry apparently had a toothache, but before he could use his magic, you kindly asked Henry to open his mouth. He didn't look, but you removed the hurting tooth using your mace

"You knew how to use that?!" He stood there, dumbfounded at how easily you

Satan – Tantou [Japanese Short Sword]

One day, he found you in the library searching for a certain book. Your peering form was simply adorable to him, so of course he accepted the offer of giving you the book you wanted, no matter how difficult

He gifted you a book on the History of Japanese Weapons, and you were occupied with the several volumes, as you both read with each other in complete peace. He'd be lying if he didn't admit he snuck a few glances of your concentrated expression

Satan was quick to feel a presence, pulling your chair close to his, but his reflexes weren't. He felt the demonic plant reach out to you, about to choke-

The plant didn't harm you in any sort, as you cut down the vine that was reaching for your neck. He was stunned, almost dropping the book in hand as he marveled at your swordsmanship

You had a look at your lover, grinning at him. "Are you impressed? It's been a while since I used my tantou…"

He was speechless, stammering at how you hid such a skill from him. He had such confidence that he knew everything about you, and yet you still proved him wrong in the most amusing way…

Asmodeus – Bow & Arrow

The teasing never stopped from your lover Asmodeus when you asked him if you could have a set of bow and arrows. It wasn't terrible teasing, but your cheeks warmed thinking about the nicknames he'd given you

He'd refer to you as his personal Cupid, praising you so for stealing his heart and his teases about being bound to you forever

You welcomed Asmo's ever public affections, even when you were practicing your archery. For a while, Asmodeus assumed you took the sport as a means of exercise, but he was quickly proven wrong

You reserved your sweet demeanour only for Asmo, so your annoyance had reached its peak when some demons won't leave alone. None of the arrows hit them, but it was close enough to their vital parts for them to feel threatened, and for Asmo to be turned on by the fierce look in your eyes

"U-Um… Are you impressed Asmo?" You hesitated, realising you showed a little of your scarier side to him. You fiddled with the bow in your hand, shuffling your feet.

He pulled you in, gently prying the bow off of you and carried you in his arm. "Oh my sweet Cupid… I'm more than impressed. I don't think I can express it in any other way than showering you in my love~"

Beelzebub – Kunai [Ninja Throwing Knife]

Beel didn't think any of it when you admitted to knowing how to fight a little. He didn't mean it in a doubting way, but he preferred to protect you by himself since he'd prefer you to be unharmed

Your adorable Beel decided it would only be suitable to help you out in the kitchen when it came to knives, even though you were baking his favourite set of cookies…

The cookies were then left to rest, as you and Beel finally had your lunch. Beel's lunch was larger than yours so you decided to check on the cookies…

You caught a cookie thief in the act, reaching for the kunai you had in your pouch, pinning the thief down. It was a wandering hungry soul, but then again, it faced the wrath of a hungry Beel with the stake of his cookies…

You pat Beel's head, as he hadn't stopped pouting since his cookies were under threat. "There there… the cookies are fine…"

His pout never went away, as he asked, "But are you okay YN? Nothing hurt?"

You could only smile at your sweet Beel, nodding as you both took the cookies for the second round of the eating date.

Belphegor – Tessen [War Fan]

It was an understatement of jealousy since Belphegor thought that the intricately decorated fan was a gift from Lord Diavolo

Since the fan could've been a hazard to those who don't know how to use it, you ushered Belphie away from the item, drawing his attention to the fluffy pillow fort you made just for your date

Belphie rested, cuddling you as close as possible, but he had secretly put up a barrier, since he felt someone watching you the entire day…

You knew of the stalker, well, more accurately some demon who dislikes you. The commotion woke Belphie up, who saw you shave off the demon's hair with the fan

"Sorry about that Belphie, are you alright?" You said, folding your fan up after scaring the demon away.

"Yeah I am…" He said, stretching out his arms to you. "Now let's cuddle…"

Romantic:

Many people in town, barbie is very likeable bc she specifically designed the perfect innocent persona to mask herself in. Alex thinks she is the perfect little wife like in an old movie, Sebastian has a thing for innocent girls, and most importantly Elliott is the main love interest. All of their crushes are very obvious, as they don’t try to hide it. She has other admirers that wouldn’t dare entertain the idea. Leah because she knows of Barbie’s crush on Elliott, who in my version of the game, is her brother. Shane because she’s too young for him and hates himself too much to think about entering her life in that way. Both Leah and Shane’s crushes fell away over time.

Barbie is deeply in love with Elliott and insists that it’s love at first sight. She actually hides it pretty well for someone who stalks him day and night. She’s fairly good at hiding it until her nervousness kicks in.

Barbie only has her eyes on one person and refuses for it to just be a fling

Platonic:

Her closest friends aside from her love interest are Leah and Emily. She has many acquaintances, but as for close friends, it’s them. I wouldn’t say she has a best friend, because she prefers not to get close enough to people for them to be in her business

Farmer Barbie isn’t good at neutral relationships. She either loves someone or hates them. Very black and white emotions. The closest id say to neutral is Harvey because one time she baked him a birthday cake and he offended her by saying it was unhealthy. She still takes offense to that, but when they see each other there’s no actual dislike and they’ll stop and say hi, but she is still hurt. She’s very sensitive.

Haley and Barbie hate each other. They can’t tolerate being in a room with each other too long. Barbie never start’s anything, but she’ll be extremely uncomfortable and Haley will make a rude comment and Barbie will secretly throw shade while playing the “poor innocent victim” role. Barbie also hates mayor lewis because he takes advantage of her kindness by making her shoulder all the towns issues by herself. As for dislike, not hate: Demetrius bc that one time he mildly threatened her about getting close with Maru. Also clint bc he makes her uncomfortable with his pity partying. Also Morris bc she thinks he’s cringe.

Barbie has still yet to meet mr.qi because she started working towards skull caverns before getting married to Elliott and now she doesn’t want to risk making him a widow.
