"queer identities are getting too complex" good. be complex. confuse cis people. confuse straight people. aim to be what cishets call cringe. be incomprehensible. be unfathomable.

You can change your name, it doesn't matter how often you change it, it doesn't matter however many names you go by, if you want to, you can change it, you could change it every week, every month, every year, it doesn't matter, you can change your name, don't feel bad about it

Please reblog for a bigger sample size!

Y'know what? Fuck it. I am a dude. I am sapphic. I love girls in a very gay way. I love boys in a very gay way. I am a guy, but not a man. A use he/him but I am not a man. I don't use she/her but I am sapphic. I have a complicated relationship with a lot of parts of my identity, and that will not change overnight, but right now what is important is that I am amazing.
I am queer and beautiful and in love. I use labels I want and reject ones I don't.

Gender-based gameplay differences would include things like: clothing that can only be worn by a male player character, NPCs that can only be romanced by a female PC, etc.

Now seeking trans men & transmascs for a study on chronic pelvic pain
Tumblr media
I (they/them, nb) am NOW RECRUITING for a research study! - Transgender Men & Transmasculine Individuals (assigned female at birth, but identify as a gender identity other than "woman") who experience chronic pelvic pain. Must be 18 years or older, fluent in English, and live in the US. Your answers are anonymous.
Chronic pelvic pain is a pain that is present in the lower abdomen or pelvis that has been present for 6 or more weeks. Chronic pelvic pain may be experienced more frequently by transgender men, transmasculine, or non-cisgender women than cisgender women, yet it is understudied. Because it is understudied, clinicians may not know how to best treat chronic pelvic pain when the patient is transmasculine. The cause of this pain is also generally unknown, as are the factors that may make it better or worse for a patient. Therefore, this study hopes to better understand what chronic pelvic pain is like for transgender men and transmasculine people, and how they prefer their care is approached when they seek medical care for chronic pelvic pain.
Participation in this one-time study is expected to take about 30 minutes of your time. There is a link for a raffle.
For more information and/or to start the survey, click here: https://qualtrics.uvm.edu/jfe/form/SV_e2qiU6qSL6YYsd0

So I've been working really hard to educate my former-Trumper father on all things LGBTQIA+ and it's been a bit of a struggle. He's pretty ignorant and has a LOT of biases but to his credit, since I expressed to him that I don't feel safe around him because of the things he believes and says, he's really been making an effort, right? So even though a lot of his questions are offensive, when I point out why they're offensive, he apologizes and tries to learn.
He also used to be in the US Army.
And yesterday, he called me up and he goes. "Okay so I have a question. If a Them is in the military, and they're a higher rank than me, what do I do? Because we call people Ma'am or Sir. And I just really don't know what to do!"
And it was the cutest fucking thing, because he sounded genuinely concerned.
And we started talking about how people who use they/them pronouns can have different gender identities and the best thing to do would be to ask the person what they prefer. But it was literally just the sweetest question, because he was genuinely thinking about it. I almost cried.

i wish you were gay.
i wish you were gay so that i would be able to talk more freely with you about being queer.
i wish you were gay so i wouldn't have to lie to you when i feel dysphoric, since you don't get how much it hurts.
i wish you were gay so i wouldn't be so scared to tell you my pronouns.
i wish you were gay so that there wasn't this huge chasm between us, constantly.
i wish you were gay so that we could be gay together.
i just want you to be able to love me the way i love you.
i just want you to love me and my queerness, not to love me despite my queerness.
i just want you to love me, queerness and all.
