I was gonna start talking about people but my cat came up and was being so sweet 🥺 she’s my first pet n truly the light of my life and I’m so thankful with how strong she’s kept me and how much of a sweetheart she is

Yule - what's one wish you have for this holiday season?

To experience the season with as much love and joy as possible. Last years holiday season was ROUGH. But I was able to find some points of true joy (aka taking my cat to see Christmas lights and seeing her jump up to watch every house we drove by) and I’m excited to go into a new holiday season with even more focus on the good💖

Zeal - what is something you go all out for?

Halloween! It’s always been my favorite holiday!! Im decorating my apartment tomorrow and for the first time im gonna have a little Halloween party with some friends and be able to make fun drinks and snacks and stuff to go even more all out for the holiday

“What?” His eyes widen in disbelief.

“Yeah... so we would all put money together to buy a cake for my other friends but since my birthday fell during the summer vacation, I never really cut any cake with my friends.”

He declares an emergency family meeting where he orders Mammon and Asmodeus to choose a venue for a party, Leviathan to decide the food menu, and Satan, Beelzebub and Belphegor to look after the decorations. He personally hires one of the best pâtissiers in the Devildom to make a cake especially for your party. It will be a private affair with only the brothers attending.

Lucifer will get you another cake to cut in private later but first you must get a taste of celebrating with close friends who are also akin to your family.

When you see the cake, you are rendered speechless. It has a tier for every year of your age. Even if your time is fleeting, every second that has passed and is yet to grace you matters. You matter and they will do their best to remind you of it.

MAMMON

“What would ya say?!”

He is royally pissed at your friends. It's good that you have him in your life now. The Great Mammon will make everything right.

“O-Oi human! Come to my room after classes today.”

“Mammon? I thought you had to stay back for detention.”

“Well don't think about those stupid details, would ya?”

You sigh and accept the invitation. There's no saving one who doesn't want to be saved.

When you enter his room, you know something is off. It has nothing to do with the room itself. It's his nervousness that makes you suspicious.

“Mammon, are you okay?”

“I just- Close your eyes!”

“What? What's this all of a sudden?”

“Trust me and close your eyes!”

“Okay okay!”

You follow his instructions, only to be met with a shy plea immediately as he scurries across the room.

“Open your eyes now... Surprise!”

The cake he gets you is the colour of molten gold and looks like a Grimm from the top.

“Oh my Diavolo, Mammon! It's such a sweet gesture.”

“I couldn't just let my servant go without cutting a cake! What kinda master wo-would I be otherwise, huh?” He manages to say with blushing cheeks.

He can hardly look at you so you wrap your arms around him and kiss his cheeks in gratitude. He is ready to explode. Atleast he will explode as a happy demon.

LEVIATHAN

“Ehhh? EHHHH?! You?! Bu-But But you are so amazing and sweet! How can those normies ever forget about you?! It’s not as if you are a pathetic gross otaku li-like me?!”

He takes some time to process the information and feels sad about it. Even he cannot relate to you because his brothers had never let him celebrate a birthday without throwing a surprise party.

It has always been easy to plan for him because he hardly left his room and so the brothers held their secret meetings without a worry. Similarly, it was child’s play for him to plan a small party for you from the comfort of his room.  

Your DDD vibrates because of a message from Leviathan.

“Can you come to my room rn? I have something to show you.”

The moment the door opens, the sound of party crackers catches you off guard and before you know it, you are covered in party streamer.

“SURPRISE!”

You blink to find a cake shaped like a gaming controller with "Player 2" written on it in a cute style.

Levi has arranged some of his figurines and Henry’s fish tank to surround the cake. They have a small party hat on top of their heads. Henry swims around happily as if to show off in front of you.

SATAN

He shuts his book in rage.

“The audacity! How could they?” He mumbles to himself when he is alone.

He is only too well acquainted with the feeling of being excluded. It hurts. It hurts when he doesn’t supress his feelings well and the wrath that comes with it is not sweet either.

He feels sad and extremely offended on your behalf but he also acknowledges that his feelings won’t amount to a lot if he doesn’t act on it.

He decides on a small, intimate celebration with the two of you and some of your feline companions.

He gets you a cake in your favourite flavour, carefully listing your allergies, likes and dislikes. He ditches his first idea of getting one that looks like the head of a cake. It would be sacrilege to eat it!

The cats seem to understand the mood because they mewl and Satan sings when you cut the cake. He is awkward while singing so don’t let it get out of his room! The smile on your face compensates his embarrassment.

My Tevan Sims - part 1

I finally did my 911 (sort of) Canon Verse save on the Sims 4, so I'm gonna share some pics.

Background: I built the apartment complex with Buck's loft in Del Sol Valley, and also made apartments for most of the other characters there. Ravi, May and Albert share a big apartment (and Ravi owns the building), Josh has one, Lena and Lucy (who are a couple) have one, and Taylor has one unit. There's still an empty unit for Bobby and Athena, who'll move in there as soon as their house burns down, lol.

Eddie has his house with Chris, The Wilsons and Hans share a lot with two houses (as rent units), and Tommy has a house across from Eddie - all in that small residential neighborhood in Del Sol.

Bobby and Athena live in Oasis Springs (my Los Angeles is split between Del Sol and OS), which is also as close as possible a copy of what they have on the show.

Now I couldn't have Buck and Tommy meet under the same circumstances as on the show, so I made Eddie and Tommy friends first and then had a huge New Year's party at the apartment complex (they have this amazing spa and party basement), which is where Tommy and Buck met.

I didn't even do anything as neither of them were actively played Sims, and they started talking and hitting it off.

As the party ended, Buck, Tommy and Maddie were the only ones still dancing.

Of course, the boys had to go play basketball together at some point...

And yes, Buck definitely has a crush on Tommy already, and vice versa (I may have cheated this a little, lol)

No ankles were harmed during this basketball match, but Tommy went to visit Buck at the loft anyway.

And then...

(Sadly, I couldn't get them to stand exactly as they did on the show, but alas, it works)

I'll be posting the date next (which went a little differently than in canon... no hot chicks comment, and they did get to see their movie).

Even Sulani was not immune from rain. Carson got out of bed at the cry of his alarm and headed to his bathroom. He liked that there was more space, and it had a nice view even with the downpour, but it didn’t make having to shave before school any easier. When he was clean and dressed and finished breakfast he decided to call his older sister, just to check about sharks.

Carson: I know it’s early but can you please tell me if sharks can break through my floor

Marta: Hola Carson, Keira is in the shower

Carson: Oh, sorry, I didn't even think about you answering her phone

Marta: It’s bueno. She told me on honeymoon sharks are pretty safe. Most attacks are from thinking a human is a fish. They will not break through your floor

Carson: Are you sure

Marta: Si, I promise. She said from underneath surfboards look like seals *laughs* isn’t that cute? But your house will not look like a big seal

Kayleigh had the day off and spent it doing what she loved most, painting! After finishing a particularly excellent painting she got a call from her regular gallery. News around the town was that Kayleigh Foster was now a global superstar! They hoped she would remember them in her future works and they had recommended her for a star of fame in Del Sol Valley! Once she got a call from the council she couldn’t contain her excitement and called around her family to let them know.

Charlie: You’re really going to get a star?

Kayleigh: That’s the rumor. You’ll all come right? I couldn’t have done it without my family. And after maybe everyone can stay for a couple of days, this house has enough room

Charlie: Of course but don’t you want to celebrate like... without your kids

Kayleigh: Your dad suggested a dinner party for my friends tonight which will be nice. He’s going to ring around on his afternoon break

When Carson got home he congratulated his mum and sat down to do his homework where he could talk to her and his eldest sister.

Carson: So everyone will be invited to stay? Even Reece?

Kayleigh: *sighs* You’ll be at school a lot of the time, don’t worry about Reece

Charlie: Besides, he’s less snarky with you when Samir is around. It’s like he tries to be well behaved or something

Carson: Charlie you know he tried convincing me Samir is a werewolf! As if I'd fall for that

Suzanna: Of course! She deserves a celebration

Sol gripped onto her mother's hand with an iron grip, so tight her knuckles turned as white as the snow that dotted the ground. At her mother's other side, Geum was sniffling from a cold that had been going on for months. It certainly wouldn't go away now.

Sol's eyes began to water as her gaze flitted to the ground. It was wrong to cry when the chief mourner was talking, she should be focusing, but…

God, why couldn't Geum be the chief mourner as that was his role as the oldest son and only grandson?! Why did it have to an uncle that didn't know halmeoni like they did? Why couldn't Geum be strong for once?!

Hot tears dripped down onto the snowy carpet as their uncle droned on about Jung Malja.

Maybe it was silly, but Sol believed halmeoni would never die. She was too wise, too all-knowing, too omnipresent to ever pass on to the next phase. Death had been beneath her. Dementia, as awful as it was, had allowed their grandmother to live in multiple time periods all at once. She was nineteen and thirty and eighty-five at the same time. She was grandmother and friend and prophet and lover. The mere concept of death would wither away in front of halmeoni. That was what Sol thought.

And yet.

Angry at her emotions getting the best of her, Sol's gloved hand rubbed at her cheek. Tears and foundation were smeared along the fabric. Sol huffed.

Mom squeezed her hand, tightening the grip even more. "No comments," she muttered, stern, her face schooled into a cold expression.

Someone looking in on the outside wouldn't be able to tell that mom just lost her own mother. But Sol knew how devastated she felt. For the past week that she has been living at home, she heard her mother cry herself to sleep each night.

The uncle finished his lame, uninspired speech and gestured at everyone to crouch down and bow. Regular funerals happened inside, but Malja was an adventurer at heart. It wouldn't have made sense to do it inside.

Sol sunk to her knees with no complaints then. Behind her, she felt Sunjae do the same. His dark boots crunched under his weight, his thick wool coat pooling around him. Everyone bowed twice.

And then it just… ended. The funeral guests thanked and expressed their condolences to the chief mourner. They scurried to the small bistro at the top of the dunes. They rented it out for the day. Sunjae pulled some strings.

Finally, Geum and Hyun-Joo moved. Geum was slobbering into a handkerchief as Hyun-Joo dragged him along.

"Sol," Mom uttered. "My hand."

"Oh," she croaked out. "Right." Sol let go, yet the imprint of her mother's hand still lingered.

Mom's lips tutted as she noticed Sol's face. With a swipe of her hand, she wiped away the remaining wetness. "We've cried for a week now."

Sol nodded, swallowing the bile in her throat. "Yes."

Mom's gaze drifted to the man behind Sol. "You make sure she doesn't freeze, yeah?"

"Of course, jangmo." Sunjae's voice was low and solemn.

Mom followed the rest of the funeral party, her footsteps the final pair on the snowy patch of beach. Sol watched her go. More tears streamed down her cheeks. She couldn't help it. She cried for a week and Sol knew she would cry many more. That was where she differed from her family. Maybe because she and halmeoni were the only ones that really knew what happened to Sol. Sol and Sunjae.

"Sol-ah…" Sunjae whispered. He stepped beside her and curled an arm around her shoulder. Just like that, the tears turned into sobs. "Sol-ah… she's still with you."

"She's gone," Sol whimpered. Burrowing her face into his chest, she clung onto his coat and allowed him to carry all her weight. Her heart felt heavy.

"You really think Jung Malja isn't living in another timeline? Meeting your grandfather, moving to Seoul, seeing you get born?" Sunjae soothed. He caressed her hair, slow and tender. "She's not gone. People… memories… never leave, even after death."

Looking up, she saw he was already fixed on her. He always was. A wry smile ticked on his lips. "She's here."

Sol swallowed away another batch of tears, humming. "She's here," she repeated. "Thank you for reminding me."

Sunjae kissed her forehead in response. "What do you want to do? Stay out here for a bit longer, or…?"

"Let's join the others." She took a steadying breath and grabbed his hand. "I could use a coffee. Do I look okay?"

Sunjae bit his lip as he assessed her. Then, almost bashful as though not her husband of several years, did he rub his thumb under her eyes. "You've got some, uh, mascara, but…"

For the first time today, Sol let out a laugh. "That's okay."

Brooke is half German half Serbian, their (very conservative) mother being Serbian and father being German. They have two older siblings, Elena and Simon (twins) and they're 10 years older than them. The twins were born in Serbia after a one-night-stand at a party their mother was at (she was like 20?). The woman had a hard life as a single mother, then eventually move to Germany for work. Years later she met them married a man who was Brooke's father, but he was kind of a deadbeat dad and after a few years divorce.

Couple more years later, when Brooke was a teenager, their mother would meet another guy who'd she marry a few years after(his last name- Beverly). Brooke wasn't all too happy about this but their current stepdad is trying his best to get to know them and be the good and supportive father figure all three needed. Ofc the family then moved to wherever the story takes place (I assume USA??). Brooke would then start university and move out to their own apartment.

Extra: My best friend's oc, Charlie (a tomboy that they ship w/Brittney) is Brooke's best friend and basically like sister. Brooke and Charlie live together since Charlie was basically adopted. The two knew each other back when Brooke lived in Germany.

Arguably the most likely way we will experience a duck team/band off boobs crossover/meet up (if at all) would be in some sort of battle or on the astral plane (duck team has to go to gladeholm for example).

The funniest possible way it could happen would be for, like 40 episodes from now, duck team to go back to the Crick to solve something/visit. Once they’re in the town square Hardwon strolls up to them, real casually. Callie and Sol and Kenna freak out. “Oh no! We fixed you! What the hell happened why are you back?” “Hardwon are you spending three years sad on the ship again? That’s not okay man.” “It’s okay Mr. Surefoot, you can come with us. They can help you get your groove back again.” Hardwon laughs. For nearly a full minute. Hugs all three of them. Then says “I appreciate your concern, but I’m actually here to visit. Cooter’s birthday is tomorrow so my friends and I came to party. I was wondering if you’d like to meet them?”

Then everyone has to rp two characters in an incredibly silly low stakes setting and it’s just an absolutely wild time. The end.

Bad Ideas of the Day, Part 7: The Continuing Bad Adventures of the Bad Kids

As usual, my quasi-monthly roundup of my bad ideas of the day from the D20 Fic discord! In this case, about half of these were written before FHJY started airing; I've put in a note at the point where that aired. (Oldest ideas are first on these lists. Bad idea of the day, making canon even messier edition: At the party, Aelwyn senses the one link in Adaine's friend group even weaker to a somewhat crazy girl kissing them and doing fantasy coke off their chest: Kristen Applebees, whose brain is borderline broken for the subsequent fight. (And who, in the months to follow, is somehow even LESS respectful of how much Adaine does not want to hear about her sister being hot)

Bad idea of the day, we go now to an interview of the deceased edition: A true crime crystalcast starts a series discussing the group of teens involved in the murders and other deaths of their school's lunchlady, guidance councilor, vice principal, and principal and the mysterious circumstances around their arrest and escape from prison. Oh, and bloodrush coach. Forgot one.

Bad idea of the day, 2023 memorial collectable retrospective vintage edition: On the first day of school, Aguefort comes demanding Riz run for the position he was destined to meet: Student Body President, a role that has gone unfilled since a great tragedy turned all the members of the then-student government to stone seventy five years before. Can Riz ascend to the ultimate form of every briefcase kid, or will he become another trophy president?

Bad idea of the day, pact of the tome edition: It's the end of their senior year and all the graduates to be have a period on the bloodrush field in which they're expected to sign one another's yearbooks! Will they fall for this scam, or will they realize that the teacher running this is the warlock instructor, trying to drum up business for his patron by slipping an infernal contract into the pages of one of the student's yearbooks?

Bad idea of the day, a horse is a home edition: Fabian is a rebellious kid early and decides that he must master what his father never could. Since his father was the master of the sea, he must become the true master of the land! Yes, he must become a horse boy! (Katja and Fabian as childhood friends, obviously)

Bad idea of the day, unhelpful parenting advice edition: The bad kids are faced with that classic nonsense assignment of protecting an egg for a week without letting it get damaged; they are not informed in advance that Arthur Aguefort himself will be testing them, making the 'week' rather flexible, nor that no student has ever passed.

Bad idea of the day, niche goods and services edition: Adaine, in her search for a Job and some cash, ends up getting paid by a casino not only to not play but to help them catch other diviners who might try cheating at the games with their ability to see the future, and then ends up caught up in a dramatic Ocean's 11 style heist

Bad idea of the day, unfortunate belief patterns edition: It turns out that Porter is actually a demigod, born of an affair Sol had with a mortal woman long ago, who historically has mostly wanted to chill out and do nice things and ignore all his more powerful side outside of his rages. Unfortunately, it also means his character is vulnerable to changing if someone starts believing in him hard enough, and nobody believes anything about him nearly as hard as Figueroth Faeth believes he is evil…

Bad idea of the day, lost and found edition: Riz finds, to his slight annoyance, that he's been voted in as the student government treasurer against his will (because he was out the day elections were held and Fig thought it would be funny) and thus he is now responsible for returning any treasures the student body accidentally loses over the course of the school year, a responsibility he is the first person to take seriously in three hundred years

Bad idea of the day, final countdown edition: The Bad Kids are forced into the annual Aguefort talent show; Fig and Gorgug have it easy with their band, and Fabian dances of course, but Kristen, Riz, and Adaine are forced to scramble for something. Riz and Adaine end up doing a stage magic show together; Kristen does a ribbon dance and manages to break her leg again in spite of the stage only being four feet off the ground. (Adaine gets talked out of her original plan by Riz of just going on stage and holding out Boggy for everyone to admire.)

Bad idea of the day, Margaret's bad day edition: After the run-in with the art squad, Margaret jumps to some incorrect conclusions about what her 'friend' is looking for in a 'friend' and begins to take up bad poetry and nihilistic philosophy. Can the rest of the gunner channel snap her out of it before they all reach their limits of free verse in their lives?

Bad idea of the day, jury duty edition: We're shown in Unsleeping City that the unsleeping city side of new york has its own judicial system. The pool of potential jurors in these cases is very, very low; how does Mister Civic Duty himself Ricky handle getting Magical Jury Duty for the eighth time this year?

Bad idea of the day, romance is hatred right? edition: Plinth/Null slashfic fusion of ASO and TUC

Bad idea of the day, a (Basketball) Court of Fae and Flowers edition: BINX would like to reclaim the Court of Craft's lost magic from Apollo and Suntar. Can she do this in the one way that fae tradition allows, a 2-on-2 basketball game where the winner takes all and the first to 21 wins? Can she really trust Suntar's brother to play with all his might, and can they somehow claim victory with all the eyes of all the fae watching and cheering and charging way too much for concessions?

Bad idea of the day, Figueroth Faeth's wild ride edition: The first day of freshman year, Fig isn't in school because she successfully talked Gilear into a quest to look for her real dad instead, sending the two of them to go look into court records in Bastion City and leaving the bad kids down Fig for the corn fight.

Bad idea of the day, talking magical weapons edition: The Sword of Truth from Never After turns up and falls straight into the hands of the most truthful person with sword proficiencies in the party, one Figueroth Faeth. It does not approve of this carrier.

Bad idea of the day, FHJY spoiler edition: Riz handles Fabian making a romaence partner out of a mirror in front of him a lot worse, and sets out to find out if Ecaf is really on their side or is in fact two-faced. Can he deal with seven years of the misfortune of Fabian bitching at him if he need to shatter this mirror and his best friend's heart at the same time? (edited)

Bad idea of the day, Once Upon a Time edition: Instead of cutting through the woods and kind of accidentally murdering somebody, our intrepid fairy tale creatures end up deciding to ride the story of the lost Prince of Shoeburg into the ground in a blaze of glory. This definitely works out for them.

Bad idea of the day, grandfather paradox edition: Ayda, curious about her family beyond Arthur and her phoenix mother, tries to find out what happened to Arthur's parents. The quest eventually reveals that her grandparents haven't been born yet, and in fact Arthur won't actually be born for several hundred more years; he's travelled back in time a thousand years in his very young days, and much of his attention at all times is on making certain he doesn't accidentally do anything that will cause himself to not exist.

Bad idea of the day, you know I had to do it edition (JY spoilers!): Kristen, while having her little verbal pissing match with her competitor for student class president, is shocked when she's suddenly attacked from behind by an offended student who is actually four dogs in a trenchcoat.

Bad idea of the day, cosmic horror edition: There is a way in Spyre to detect those who might be infested with sometimes being possessed by eldritch beings of great impulse and power, those who can seem to reshape the world with their whims, those… 'player characters'

Bad idea of the day, no really this one's kind of bad edition: Fig, desperate to loop in the last bad kid who she's not in some weird way related to, decides to go all in on getting Gilear and Hallariel into some kind of poly swinger situation with the Thistlesprings, going so far as to set up a very awkward dinner party where she tries to prompt them to go for the binder, much to Gorgug's disconcertment

Bad idea of the day, this one's just canon but it was definitely a bad idea edition: The true love story of how Efink met and married Percival very very quickly for what definitely seemed like good reasons at the time.

Bad Idea of the Day, You Get What You Kill Edition, light JY ep4 spoiler: After killing her dad, Adaine is irritated to discover after they get back to Elmville that she is in fact now the official Fallinel envoy to Solace and that she's been fully Santa Claused into another elven position against her will.

Bad idea of the day, Adaine DID seem much more interested in this option edition: Adaine takes one of Aelwyn's suggestions and starts selling weapons in the forms of scrolls of fireball and the like

Bad idea of the day, the ultimate D20 party edition: Come up with an excuse to put Adaine, Fabian, Katja, Efink Murderdeath, and Colin Provolone in the same party to bring the ultimate fear to all parents everywhere. (I honestly might be forgetting somebody. There's been a lot of parent-killing in D20.)

omg YES I WILL I LOOOOOOOOOVE THE KARAVERSE EEEE. ao imma focus on cross group friendships cause each group has their own dynamics and that’s a different post. i also don’t wanna add romantic relationships so this is all just friendships for now.

so our main group is heeyoung , minji and taeji, the fucking chaos triplets. jen is a recent addition the squad but she’s really fitting in with them i love it. mimi joins them every now and then but she’s quite a solo person but when she’s there they have fun. they get in a lot of shit together but they’re so fun and fresh. a sub division of this group includes the boys like james of triptych, jisung and hyunjin.

taeji is especially close with james since they’ve known each other since their trainee days. taeji , james and jeongin are a very close trio.

next is our party girls sora, kelsey and kiera. calling them friends is even a stretch they kinda just are around each other and go out together. sometimes they hang out with minchae she’s an npc oc i created that is jangmi’s ex childhood best friend. she’s a model and actress and gets the best drugs so they hang out. non of them really like each other but are a lot more involved in each others lives than they will admit.

sora and sol are one of the closest pairings in the karaverse. they’re like brother and sister and adore each other. he really is her support system and so sweet. they used to include fin a lot in their friendship but ever since their breakup they obviously are back to being a duo.

a fun little group stella, mila and nova. the three of them are very close and i looove them cause they’re all so different but mesh together so well. they’re literally the coolest people you’ll ever meet. they’re so like aloof and mysterious ugh so sexy.

next is our artsy gays; mila , stella , dayna and arin. they love to frequent galleries and go to fun exhibits not super close but hangout a decent amount.

next we have akiko and trin. theyre a cute lil duo , trin is a lot more quiet and doesn’t stand up for herself but luckily she has akiko. they’re joined at the hip and in basically in love with each other i’m obsessed fr.

iris used to train at cube and so she’s close with vivid but she’s one of sora’s best friends. they liked each other as trainees but decided to just stay friends and that was the best thing they could’ve done honestly because they make amazing friends.

lastly there’s jangmi and minseok as well as jangmi and sam from triptych. minseok and jangmi were mcs together and jangmi fell for him but he’s in love with his bandmate jun so they’ve become really good friends. jangmi has struggled with friendships and through minseok she met sam and they are instantly clicked. she decided that they’d ignore their romantic interest in each other to focus on their friendship because it means so much to her.

Today's (10/28/2024) Episode: Game, Developed

After Noemi and Luigi helped Skye deal with his new diagnoses it was finally time for them to celebrate a big personal milestone of their own.

“Well today’s the day, are you ready?” Noemi asked her husband “Honestly, yes and no” he replied, “its amazing to think that this dream of mine is coming true, but I’m terrified that its going to be a flop. I’d hate to go down in history as a failure.” Especially considering what I sacrificed to get here he thought to himself, gently making a fist under the table with his “bum” right hand.

“I highly doubt its going to fail” she said “I know I’m biased but, seriously, Watcher Tales is good. Now let’s go get ready for the launch party!”

“What should I wear!?” Luigi mused nervously as they entered the bedroom “I want to look professional, but grounded, put together but not overdressed. It’s tough.”

Noemi bit her tongue to keep from laughing. She walked up behind him and placed a hand firmly on his lower back. “I can help you find the perfect outfit” she whispered in his ear, “but before we get you dressed up, maybe getting undressed would help calm both our nerves…”

Luigi pulled her in, surrendering to her hungry kisses. It wasn’t the best woohoo they’d ever had, but when they emerged a few minutes later he couldn’t deny he was feeling calmer “Now my butt is sore” he groused, grinning “but it was totally worth it. Let’s do this thing!”

The Watcher Tales launch party was being held in Del Sol Valley and sponsored by UnorthoBox, one of the largest gaming console manufacturers in the nation. The game would be launching for both PC and, exclusively, on the new UnorthoBox 2 gaming system for console.

Exiting the teleporter just outside the conference center where the event was being held Luigi fired up Yoshi to capture some footage of the launch party. Grabbing Noemi’s hand, he took a deep breath and headed inside where his friends, family, and fans were all eagerly awaiting their arrival.

Luigi took his place in front of a wall of pictures featuring high-res images captured from the game itself, while Noemi settled nearby at a small table offering hard copies and digital codes of Watcher Tales for purchase.

Luigi was in his element, his natural cheerful enthusiasm on full display as talked up his “masterpiece”. He kept Noemi busy, sending a constant stream of fans and gamers to her table to buy first release copies of their game.

Luigi and his wife weren’t the only ones working hard to make the launch party a raging success.

Rather than hiring an unknown sim of questionable skill to man the bar Luigi had asked his grandpa Don to do the honors, and he’d gladly agreed.

Nearby Denton and Cullen were streaming a demonstration of Watcher Tales primary multiplayer features to their fans. Across the room a long rows of PCs had been setup, giving sims attending the release party a chance to “try before you buy”. Many of Luigi’s friends and family had settled there to show their support and see the game he couldn’t stop talking about.

Noemi was thrilled with how quickly copies of the game were selling, but as the afternoon wore on, she found herself feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Shutting her eyes for a moment in between customers, she suddenly heard the familiar and oh so welcome voice of her friend Amaya. “How you holding up pretty momma? The girls and I just arrived, and our kids are out back playing with your little one.”

“Honestly, I could use a break” Noemi told her. “The launch is going great, but this crowd is a bit too much for me.”

“Say no more!” Amaya replied, gesturing for her to rise “I sell nectar from the ranch every weekend at the market in Eco Harbor; I can handle hocking Hot Stuff’s pride and joy for a bit. Go give your boy a kiss and say hello to the ladies.” Noemi sighed with relief, heading out to sunny, quiet, playground.

Luigi merely chuckled when he noticed that his old flame had relieved his wife at the sales table. The meet and greet line shut down shortly after that and when one of his favorite songs started playing on the stereo system Luigi decided to give his fans a little show to thank them for coming.

“My fellow gamers” he announced “you inspired Watcher Tales, and your support means the world. I hope you’ll help me end this party in style!”

He found a small patch of open floor and began an impromptu dance party, gesturing for everyone to join him. As he danced along with the other happy sims celebrating the game’s launch, he silently hoped he’d find as much success as he’d enjoyed that day in the days to come.

Meet the Parents:

Melvin and Sabine met in Sabine's hometown of Willow Creek (think NOLA), during a frat party. Mel wasn't the partying type but one of his close friends convinced him to "put that damn book down and come on, get in the car"...Anyways, Melvin was in his last year of college while unbeknownst to him Sabine was still in high school. She was at the party with her cousin/cousin's friend group that attended the college. As Melvin was standing to himself near the doorway, Sabine approached him and sparked conversation; they talked damn near all night. They exchanged numbers and would talk regularly (during this time Mel didn't know Sabine's age because she lied about it). Fast forward (a few months) to the night before Melvin's college graduation, she made her way to the campus and that's where/when Malaysia was conceived.

After graduation, Melvin returned home to Del Sol Valley to attend Medical School. During this time he was unaware that Sabine was pregnant. It wasn't until 3 years later that he found out about their daughter. Sabine moved to Del Sol Valley, at Melvin's request, to try and make things work. But over time it became too much for her to not only keep living a lie (about her age) but also being so far away from her family in Willow Creek. So she returned home.

After medical school, Melvin chose to do his residency in Willow Creek because it took a toll on him traveling back and forth from DSV over the years. By this time, Sabine had gotten married (to Kourtney's dad), pregnant (with Kourtney), divorced, and began her Law career (ironically she's a Divorce Attorney).

⤷ apply sunscreen before you go out and reapply ever 2 hours. look for products that are: lightweight & nonsticky, don’t leave a white cast, spf 50++

the sun is out so it’s only natural for me to want to glow when the sun is hitting my face and body ♡ i love to really highlight my highest points.

applying subtle gold shimmer on your eyelids

lipgloss!

preferably one that is hydrating, slightly pigmented to bring out the colors in your lips & glowy. not sticky. my recommendation is the dior lip glow stick.

highlighter

my favorite is mac’s strobe highlighter in peachlite. it honestly gives my skin such a beautiful and subtle pink glow to my face!! i love applying it before my makeup.

⤷ don’t forget your collarbones and shoulders.

there is nothing else that makes me feel like a radiating goddess walking down the street when i put highlighter on my body.

⤷ also, layering powder products on top of wet/creamy products make them more pigmented! this is why you see some people wet their eyeshadow brushes before dipping them into the product ♡

blushed & flushed or nothing!

who doesn’t love a good blushed face during the summer? just because your blush is visible doesnt mean you’re wearing too much!!!! own it!!

it doesn’t have to be too crazy. keep it simple.
