This year kinda whizzed by for me! A lot happened in my personal life that I don't want to share online, but throughout all of the highs and lows I was always able to come back to this wonderful fandom. It's been a huge comfort seeing other people theorize and discuss my favorite characters!

I've meet a lot of awesome people through Tumblr & Ao3, cosplaying, and various TF2 groups. As of writing this post I've got a solid 260 followers, which is an insane number to me when this blog simply started as a place to organize my creative works 😭

All of the little tags and comments on my stuff have seriously kept my life whimsical (for lack of a better term) and I would like to shout-out some notable people and works that kept me going through 2024!

First up, and probably the biggest one, is the lovely @aussie-bookworm and their fic, Going Through The Motions. These updates seriously made my day, and I couldn't have been happier you accepted my offer to proofread. It's been super fun discussing the differences between our countries, yapping about the Mercs, and different AUs. I hope to read many more of your works in 2025 B)

Next, another fanfic author, is AhChunta! If you like slow burns, mystery, and Speeding Bullet, I would really recommend Stolen Pieces. It's a super cool crime boss AU that I've been enjoying this year. Plus it deserves more attention!

Another awesome artist is @800db-cloud, who is honestly CARRYING the Freak Fortress fandom. I love how silly your depictions of those freaks are 🧡 and also YOUR ARTSTYLE IS SO COOL AND SATISFYING TO LOOK AT ARGHHH.. You're just super awesome 👍 also shout-out to @riskreward1, my chillest mutual. I think your Getting Milk comic series is hilarious and amazing, but seeing all of those other fandoms you draw is like a gateway drug to me because it's drawn in your KICKASS artstyle‼️plus you like The Mountain Goats and that's based

Kumon: It’s super interesting! Unlike with my classes in high school, I actually feel motivated to study on my own.

Kumon: Plus I get to be with Nii-chan!

Banri: I figured you had had that planned from the start, but you actually didn’t decide on where you were gonna go for school until much later, right?

Kumon: Hey, I thought about it a lot, y’know.

Kumon: And I didn’t just think about Nii-chan, I also made sure to think about the best college for me to go to.

Tasuku: That’s probably the result of steadily building up your experience. Shows how much you’ve become recognized as an actor.

Citron: I have started getting pressured to do arts and culture-related work from all over the place~.

Itaru: And I’m still annoyed that I’m stuck being treated like some mid-level NPC…

Chikage: That’s normal for having worked there for five years.

Guy: Speaking of that, I’ve been entrusting Mikage with more work, too.

Hisoka: I know how to make a few appetizers now…

Tasuku: What, like toasted marshmallows and marshmallow pizza?

Izumi: Seems like everything’s going smoothly for the company while each of you is moving forward and changing in your own ways.

Izumi: Ah, right! The idea came to me when we were talking to that kid, but--.

Izumi: How does a workshop aimed at beginners sound for the upcoming event?

Izumi: When I realized that people were interested in theater because of MANKAI Company’s performances, I thought that maybe promoting theater as a concept could be necessary too.

Izumi: And I think it’d be a good experience for us to share the joy of plays with them more directly and to have fun together.

Sakuya: That’s true, that could be a really good idea!

Citron: It sounds very fun!

Chikage: But wouldn’t people who have more experience with theater, like Tenma, Tasuku, or Tsumugi, be more suitable for teaching people than us Spring Troupe members?

Tsuzuru: He’s got a point, most of us are still pretty inexperienced actors. I mean, almost all of us were complete amateurs until a few years ago.

Masumi: I can do it.

Itaru: You’re probably the least qualified to teach.

Izumi: That’s the point. You all still feel like amateurs and remember how you felt when you first stepped on stage just a few years ago.

Izumi: I’m confident that you guys will be able to convey theater from a perspective that’s closer to a beginner’s.

Izumi: It’s not a workshop for actors, and it’s definitely not just for teaching like Yuzo-san’s workshops…

Izumi: I think it should be about just trying to enjoy theater together, just like if you were reminiscing about your old selves. That’s the best we can do, I think.

Izumi: And it could be an opportunity to expand our fan base too…

Izumi: I think it’s only because of how everyone is now that we can try to make people more aware of theater.

Sakuya: Yeah… I get it. Up until now, we’ve just been doing our best in regards to ourselves, but now…

Itaru: Exactly. Maybe we’ll be able to have some fun together.

Chikage: We could be our own motivation.

my n2ds is my main console for games, which is funny because its my least favorite 3ds console because I heard its hard to repair (☹️). not a fan of the colors and not to mention the bumpy surface on the top. And there is no hole for charms like the others! what gives !!! hehe it has the pokémon super mystery dungeon theme that was exclusive to preorder bonuses of the game in Japan applied though, so all it well. i always carry it around with me in sleep mode during my daily walks. i originally hacked it for play coins for streetpass mii plaza

I have to agree with the 2DS stuff, I really hate the texture of it!! It's so bumpy augh. the n3DS has a similar look but thankfully the texture isn't as bad. It's still there, but less prominent.

I love the variety in your collection!! It's really nice. I'm curious as to your thoughts about getting both the n2DSXL and the n3DS, since they are pretty similar in specs.

ah. i’m terrified of bugs but i will always kill them on sight! unless it’s big… then i am running and hiding. beetles … moths …. my heart is racing. anything else gets the shoe in .5 seconds !! um ume however. he’s very gentle with them !!! he slips the spider between a sheet of paper and a cup and moves it somewhere safe. he also gives crumbs to ants and all that !! so now, anytime i see a bug, i call him to safely move it somewhere else :’) they are spared only because ume exists !! i make sure to tell them that too. you are only allowed to live bc he is so sweet >:(( remember that !!!!

Izumi: To be honest, you all are my casting choices for the event.

Tenma: Everyone here? Why’d you pick us, though?

Izumi: For this performance, they requested that the actors match the aura and appearance of the characters from the picture book.

Izumi: It seems like elementary schools have already applied to attend the event for field trips, you see.

Izumi: Because the majority of the audience viewing the performance will probably be children, I ended up selecting troupe members who fit the auras of the characters.

Taichi: Ohh! I mean, I get it when you put it that way. Citron sorta looks like the thieves’ guild’s leader, Zenos!

Citron: Zenos?

Taichi: He’s on the cover of the book—this guy!

Mii always loved how people can make a cute, happy family through dolls. Like how two bigger teddy bears can be the mama and papa of a smaller teddy bear.

It’s cute and easy to do, and Mii loves doing it!

Today, Mii was on a date with their favorite person, Shunin! Well, Shunin was just helping Mii buy some materials for their job though… But when Shunin and Mii are together, it’s basically a date, isn’t it!? 

Hehe, they had so much fun looking for cute things! Mii hopes Shunin had fun too though…

Since he was smiling, that means he enjoyed it, right? If that’s true, Mii would be very happy!

Mii also got a new set of dolls! It’s a teddy bear, a fox doll, and a cat doll. They’re not the same species but they were all made by the same creator so…

…That means they’re a family!

It cost a lot though but Mii makes plenty of money to afford it. Shunin had wanted to pay for it but since it’s not an “official” date, Mii wants to buy it with their own money. He did ask why Mii always gets the whole set instead of just one though…

Silly, Shunin! Wasn’t it obvious?

It’s so that they would never be lonely!

Shunin liked that answer a lot because he smiled at Mii brightly. Mii thought they were going to go blind because of how bright it is… But they wouldn’t mind because that means Shunin is really happy~

When Mii and Shunin came home, Mii wanted to make a place for the new doll family they bought. They deserve a place where they’re warm and comfy after all.

Shunin helped Mii out since he wasn’t busy. They both worked hard on clearing up some space for the dolls. Shunin did trip over a lot of Mii’s dolls however. But he wasn’t hurt or anything so Mii finds it funny!

Eventually, they finished arranging the dolls!

Tada~

Now they’re one happy family!

Mii and Shunin did a really great job at it! Fufu, Mii made sure to show it off to Neru-kun when he came back.

Shunin was tired so he stayed in Mii’s room for a while. It was the perfect chance to cuddle and read some books Mii has!

They decided to read a storybook titled “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”.

It was a cute, funny story with a girl named Goldilocks accidentally entering the home of a bear family and making a mess out of things

Shunin and Mii laughed a lot reading it! 

Though, it seemed like that story reminded Shunin of something.

Shunin asked Mii about their family.

He asked if Mii misses their parents, since they mentioned not having seen them for so long. It made Mii think…

Mii… couldn’t remember much about their parents anymore.

They couldn’t remember their names or what they looked like. It was all blurry in Mii’s mind. But they do remember how they acted towards Mii, remember some of the words they told Mii.

Mii remembers loving them.

That means… they must’ve been nice people, right? They must be. After all, they took care of Mii until…

Until Mii became useless to them.

I'm 14 years old I'm from Powerdered Peaks! I have two sisters, one is adopted and when she went missing, I set out to find her. Then I saw a butterfly with eyes and got sidetracked saving Miitopia, haha. But I made lots of new friends! (And a boyfriend, hehe)

This is Lilly! She's 13 She's a popstar! She has a little brother named Scrub. She has a beauty mark that floats next to her! It's genetic. She was the first person I met on my journey. She is so positive and encouraging to everyone, that it makes me worry about her hiding her feelings...

This is Julie! She's 16. She came from a Knights' Academy! You should hear her talk about sneaking out to join me and Lilly, it sounds AWESOME. Though she does have a stutter, I don't mind, though she can be hard to understand sometimes. She has a crush on a guy from the Academy named Zack, though her and her best friend fight over him

Lyra ( LEER UH. Not LIEra) is an enigma. She is 14 years old! She comes from Neksdor and is an awesome thief, but her past is sad. Her mom died after her sister was born and her dad was...well I've seen Lyra's scars. She doesn't like to talk about it. She is also fiercely loyal and protective of Maxie, her sister! Another thing, unlike the rest of the girls, she's not interested in boys. And unlike the boys, she's not interested in girls. She doesn't seem attracted to anyone! I'm talking like, not platonic. She can make friends with anyone, but she is hard to approach...

Brix was my first friend in Neksdor after the dark lord Brandon took my friends captive. She's 14! She used to be a Mage, and a very inept one. She was bullied for it in her magic school place thing. She also has a lisp so that didn't help. She has a sister named Lotus! Anyway, she's very kind and tries her best, and when she tried being a cleric she was so good at it! She's waaaaaaay happier!

Yuko~chan is from Peculia and is 13. I think she's dating Conner now (more on him later). She acts kind of dumb, unaware of her surroundings, not knowing when certain things are good (stop SLEEPING IN BATTLE!) but she has a good heart! And also her culture is very different from mine so that's interesting. She has a twin named Akira~kun. He's her bro!

Poor Travis is sick. I wish I could get a better pic. Anyway, I didn't like him at first. This 15 year old would hide behind us in battle and it was annoying! But... well I was very stressed when I met him. And while Brix and Yuko~chan were trying their best, I felt I had to hide my pain, my fear. My friends were kidnapped and I had to deal with two newbies! But Travis...he let me vent. He listened to me. He gave me advice. We talked alot. Beneath his laid back exterior, he cares. And we became friends. And when he and the others were taken, I felt more upset about him being gone than anyone else. I realized how I felt. And after beating the dark lord and the darker lord being a thing, after another vent session I accidentally confessed. Apparently he felt the same and now we're a couple!

Celeste here is the youngest by far. She's only 8. Apparently, her older sister, Sylvie, was supposed to join us, but her face was stolen, so Celeste went in her sted. She's kind and sweet, but also, odd. A lot of the things she says don't add up. She talks about her home in the Elven forest, and how she and her sister are orphans, but sometimes she mentions evil parents. I figured out the truth, as did the rest of us, and its heartbreaking and Celeste is not at fault for any of it! She's also very...alien, in behavior. Having a near photographic memory is not normal. But we love Celeste, she's everyone's kid sister!

Alexis is 14! She is a princess with a twin brother named Alex. She is also going to marry a prince named Roberto when she's old enough, but they're in love so it's fine. However, a coup de ta happened! Her handmaid, a girl named Lucky, and the girl in love with Alex, revealed herself to be the daughter of the leader of this coup. Her real name? Luciena! Lou she en a! Not Lou she na. Gotta correct that. But Lucky was loyal and helped Alexis escape, but her brother was taken. Just like me, her quest started for a different purpose, but directionless. So when the Guardian Spirit recruited her, she joined us to save Miitopia and hopefully find her bro along the way!

Conner...this guy is a flirt. And french. OK he just has that accent. He's also from Peculia and is a nature spirit. He has a brother named Loki I think? He used to have a thing for me, but he was respectful when I rejected him (I was nice about it). Yuko~chan noticed his change in demeanor and took it upon herself to make him feel better. They became close. They know things about each other that the rest of us don't, just like me and Travis! Honestly, before this he flirted with everyone except for Travis (both only like girls) and Celeste (because Celeste is waaaaay younger than him. She is too smol) oh yeah and Conner is 14 I guess...
