When Pietro sat down with them, the Guardians started to act the way they always did. Gamora sat next to Quill and he pressed a kiss to her cheek. The Guardians rarely let other members of their own team eat alone; bonds in space were few and far between, so sticking together was their way of staying strong. Besides, it was always nice to have a sense of connection and community. As Pietro explained how he liked to use his speed to get people out of harm’s way, Drax nodded approvingly. Groot, on the other hand, just frowned while nibbling on a toast.

“If I had super speed,” Groot said, “I would just use it to steal candy!”

“I don’t know who taught you that stealin’ is okay, kid,” Rocket added, pouring star-shaped cereal into a bowl before adding alcohol. “You guys want some? I stole like thirty-five boxes from Earth.”

“Dude, Rocket, you’re supposed to pour milk,” Quill said. “Not booze!”

A conversation about how they had been unable to fuel the Benatar on Earth followed. Rocket passed the cereal box to Mantis, who poured some for herself, before smiling and giving the box to Pietro. Quill said he was hoping they could fuel the ship on that planet while Gamora mentioned they should come up with an emergency plan to deal with Flerkens, which made Groot laugh uncontrollably when he saw Quill shudder at the reminder. There were no more incidents as they had breakfast, and afterwards they were left with an amount of leisure time that would probably be limited; Pietro was free to explore the ship, the planet, and look for resources for his turtle.

(Me ignoring this verse’s cosmic elephant in the room which is the language - in the GotG movies they do use a translator implant, however in IW and EG the characters from Earth don’t use those and they can still understand alien characters. Pietro, like Wanda, hates medical procedures so I have no idea how they’re gonna give him one.)

{ Oh really? Hmm, I didn’t know that. Yeeeeah, that might be a problem for Pietro. He’s not as triggered by medical things as Wanda is in a panicking, trauma response sense, but he does really hate medical things and he’s not easily convinced to even go for regular checkups, let alone have implants put in. I mean, we could just fudge and say he did have it done? But then it wouldn’t be that surprising that he can understand Groot. But it’s much too mary sue to be like oh he just understands everyone heh. Him understanding Groot was some nice color, but I don’t wanna say he just always understands everyone. So hmm... I guess... we’re just... yeah, ignoring stuff? For now? *jazz hands* XD }

Although Pietro didn’t necessarily feel totally a part of this team yet, he did like sitting with them and listening to their banter. They all seemed so comfortable with each other, like a family. Well, they were family, he could clearly see. Family was not only blood. Sometimes it wasn’t even blood, if blood did you wrong somehow. But family was a big thing in Pietro’s culture, and found family was as valid and important as blood. By observing the Guardians and how they interacted with each other, it was clear that they were definitely a family, held together by trust, respect, and yes, a healthy amount of humor and sarcasm. Those were all the best elements of a family, in Pietro’s eyes.

He couldn’t resist getting involved in the conversation, grinning at Groot’s comment. “I have used it to steal candy,” he admitted with a chuckle. “Is very effective.” Rocket’s comment about stealing not being okay earned a little shrug from Pietro. “Sometimes is okay. Well... not okay, but necessary. When my sister and I were on the streets starving after our parents died, what was I supposed to do, let her cry and be hungry? Hell no, I got my ass out there and stole food for us. Sometimes life forces your hand, yeah?” He turned to Groot again. “The key... is knowing when is necessary to do, and when you are just being a little shit and should probably stop.”

But when Rocket then took out stolen alcohol and proceeded to pour it into his cereal, Pietro busted out laughing, his voice slightly high pitched with humor when he finally spoke. “What the hell, man?! You’re such a hypocrite!” he said, but not in a nasty or even accusing way. He thought it was hilarious that Rocket would, in one breath, both condemn stealing to Groot, and in the next, admit to stealing a bunch of alcohol from Earth. “It was necessary stealing, right?” Pietro then said in the same playful tone. “See? There is time and place for everything,” he said shrugging and going back to his food. When Quill commented that milk, not booze, should go in cereal, Pietro eyed Rocket’s bowl. “I mean... is it any good?” he asked, really wanting to know. “Maybe he is on to something...”

Pietro had already cleared his plate and was still hungry, but he didn’t want to be greedy. So he just sat with his empty plate. He was quiet for the rest of breakfast, just listening to the conversation. Afterward, he said he was going out to look for food and other supplies for Mr. Dibbles, which was most certainly a priority of his. The turtle depended on him, after all.

Yes, mainly because I want people to know I appreciate them taking a second out of their day to support me and tell me what they enjoyed, are looking forward to, ect about the story they read or are reading. I sometimes have to use a translator, and I love that. I love knowing people from all over are still reading my stuff.

♡ What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I deleted it but it was called The Dove Effect. It was set in Victorian London where the reader fell ill to Tuberculosis / Consumption Disease. Her partner had to watch as she suffered in a hospital, leaving him with little he could do to save her. Risking it, he kissed her and still kept her close only to get sick in return and die before her. She suffered of heartbreak, finally dying sometime after, not of the disease, but of her broken heart; thus the story's name, as doves usually die without their soulmate.

♡ What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

Any and all of them, depending on how you wanna look at it. XD;

But seriously, I do try to give a lot of my fics happy endings.

♡ Do you write crossovers? If yes, what’s the craziest thing you’ve ever written.

I used to, mainly because of how my character, Oreana, works. Sadly, a majority of those aren't for viewing pleasure, as they are very cringy. Too cringy for me to let them be seen.

There was a very old crossover I wrote years ago in my late teens that I tore down. I forgot what it was called, but a lot of the anime and video game protagonists I had come to love were brought to life by scientific means in the current day. A catastrophic event occurred, causing all of them and a few humans who lived through it, to be located underground in an endless maze of rooms and the like. I think Kenshin and Vash were the 'leaders' of the many.

♡ Have you ever received hate on a fic?

HAH...yes...yes, I have. The recent ones were from a previous stalker, but there was one in particular that was interesting to me. It was someone who left a crummy comment on Contract, so I reported it as spam as the admins suggest you do with anon hate. A few weeks later, they reviewed Tome chapter 1 and apologized. I did appreciate it, as it's very rare anons will do that.

There was a time way back in my FF.net days where I had someone constantly harassing me through my YYH fanfics to where I had to tell people to not respond to them. I even had to shut off anons to where the person made an account just to DM me 2—yes—2 different DMs to tell me in lengthy detail how much I suck and why. I knew what it was, didn't read it and let it sit there for about a month before bothering. When I did, the tl;dr of it was to say they and their friend wanted to be my friend but hated how I acted at times and how disturbing my content was on another site. Lol They made an account, my dears, just for that... lol. And not another peep was had afterwards.

♡ Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I think that's all I'm known for, requested, commissioned to do, so yes. X”D

What kind? Errr...I mean, I prefer there to be plot with my crazy fuckin', but I don't mind pure on kinky goodness without reason. Just rare I write that unless requested.

♡ Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Yup. The Worthless Humans. It was stolen word for word and posted on Fanfiction.net sometime after they BANNED NSFW fics...so...yeah. I think you can easily read through my AdultFanfiction.net (at the time—it's now .org) reviews and one of my reviewers is like 'hey, just curious if you posted this on FF.net...? because it's on there...' Here it is. Found it:

I had to confront the person who was claiming their friend wrote the story and told them to post it. Enough complaints were filed anyways, and it was torn down because it violated the major TOS of no NSFW stories.

What's funny is...about a year later (I think) that Yoko person apologized for the misunderstanding. She explained that a person who was her friend at the time claimed to be the writer and gave her the go ahead to post it on FF.net. The sad part is... I think I know the person Yoko was mentioning, as that person tried to be my friend too and would send me stolen artwork from YYH artists I followed claiming to be the artist and that it was a gift to me. lol

♡ Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, but I've had many people asking if they can! (1) (2) to show a few.

For future reference: I really don't mind if people do translate my works. I just ask to be known as the author, linked back to and notified. Not just for the obvious, but so I can link the translated work in case other people read mainly in that language.

Oh goodness, decades ago it feels. Both with ex-girlfriends. LOL Those fics are gone now, of course.

Pft, heck if I know. Does anybody know my strengths? I will say one of my lovelies from France told me that, whether people commission me or request a story from me, I always seem to write something that hits their emotions just right—that something I wrote resonates with them, making the piece all the more personal. So maybe that?

Not knowing when to let the reader breathe... Attaching too many sentences together. I am getting better at that. I swear. Lol

I refuse to do it now unless I have the source nearby. I just don't trust google translator.

Actually...if you're talking about any fanfic, that would be a mega old Mighty Ducks Animated Series one I wrote offline when I was in 5th grade. Sadly, don't remember the year. Somewhere in the 90s maybe??

So far, The Demon King of the Desert. It's been a nice escape from some stuff, and it has helped me—in its own way—to show that you need to let go and enjoy the small, happy moments, for they are fleeting.

Hi! I love your account so so much! I have a question regarding gon regaining his nen. Ging said there would be a "punishment/penalty". Does that mean there would be imposed limitations or is the penalty physical damage?

I thought for sure I had a post on this already, but tumblr search is not cooperating... Anyway here's the exact translation for what Ging says, Liz @hunterxhell​ has it as usual:

ging uses 罰/bachi, which means like punishment/curse but like coming from a higher power, ie “karma will bite you”. i would translate this as “there’ll be hell to pay”.

I think it means he can get his nen back, but there will be a cost.  Honestly it sounds like a nen cost to me... Gon broke his nen contract (a contract with “a higher power” if you will) by living after the battle with Pitou, when he said he’d give up “everything.” When you break a nen contract there’s an associated punishment, usually your life.  

In this case, Nanika reversed the curse on Gon that was the consequence of him breaking his contract. She broke the laws of nen to do that, which took an enormous amount of energy.  In HxH world it’s like breaking the laws of physics.

It’s actually possible that Ging is wrong (or lying) about the “cost” for Gon to get his nen back, BTW.  It wouldn’t be the first time that Ging warned Gon to only get involved with Hunter stuff if he was actually serious...This could be similar to when he left the tape and ring about Greed Island, maybe it’s his way of encouraging Gon to stay home and really think about how much he wants this. 

Assuming Ging is wrong (or lying) about the cost... it’s possible that Alluka already paid the cost for the broken contract; and the reason Gon doesn’t have nen right now is because Killua said to “heal Gon” and Nanika interpreted that in a literal way, and restored him to “normal” so right now Gon is “normal” i.e. he doesn’t have nen. 

Maybe someone who knows Japanese can look up what Killua says in that panel... like does “heal” mean “restore” or something in Japanese... bc there’s a lot of stories about djinn or genies (and Nanika is a bit like a genie, an entity that can grant wishes) interpreting your requests in a literal way, so you have to be careful about how you phrase them.

If there is still a cost to pay, it could be something like how Kurapika has to give up his lifespan to use Emperor Time....except we already saw that once with Gon-san (where he gave up his life/potential for power now) and I don’t know if Togashi would repeat himself like that. It’s also possible that Gon will have to see a nen exorcist, and pay whatever the cost is for the exorcism before he can get his nen back... since that’s the normal way to lift a nen curse in HxH world.

Before, none of the Hunter Association nen exorcists had the power to lift Gon’s curse, because it was so extreme... Maybe even Nanika didn’t have the power to fully reverse the consequences of Gon’s decision, so there’s still a cost left for him to pay?

The short version of that is that in HxH world, when you take out a “loan” by getting power in advance there’s a huge associated cost that you end up paying later.  Gon got a lot of power out of his contract, so there was a huge cost to pay afterward.  Then he dodged the cost, because of Nanika. Either she’s totally paid it off, and he could start training again; or there’s still some residual curse left that he’ll have to break the normal way. 

Anyway, to sum this up... I don’t know XD it is a mystery. Also, it’s Togashi :P He could just invent something new next week (month, year, decade, whatever) to keep us guessing. I do think that if Gon shows up in the manga again, he’ll get his nen back... because while HxH values balance, family, domestic things, etc more than your usual shounen, it would be kind of a boring manga if Gon just stayed on Whale Island doing his math homework.

So you’re done with The Untamed and want more, what now?

Reposting this since I’ve updated it with new info/links. Again, I entered the fandom via The Untamed so I’m by no means a MDZS expert, just tried my best gathering all the resources I can which I hope will help some new Untamed/MDZS fan out there. If you spot any errors, don’t yell at me, just let me know and I’ll correct it as best I can, especially for any future reposts.

READ THE NOVEL

Read the original web novel the show was based on: The Untamed (aka “CQL” or “Chen Qing Ling”) was adapted from the BL web novel, Mo Dao Zu Shi (aka ”MDZS” or Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) by author Mo Xiang Tong Xiu (”MXTX”). Yes the novel came first, CQL is only an adaptation. In the novel, you get the uncensored romance of Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji, where they are canonically married and living happily ever after. The novel goes full into R18 territory so please tread carefully.

All four volumes of the novel can be purchased from the original publishing site, JJWXC. The site’s in chinese but here’s a tutorial on how to navigate it and purchase the books:  JJWXC Tutorial Link.

There’s also the option of purchasing the physical copies from Yesasia which might be easier but it’s also more expensive since they’re the middle man: Yesasia MDZS Link

It would be wonderful if you can support MXTX-laoshi by actually buying the books, especially since the cover art is so beautiful and the extra chapter volumes come with a lot of awesome extra goodies, but of course there’s also the option of reading the fan translations graciously provided by the Exiled Rebels Scanlations team at their site:

WATCH THE ANIME (aka “Donghua” in Chinese)

Watch the anime based on the novel: The donghua was released before The Untamed. Two seasons are already available (23 eps total) with a third season in production and a special chibi version of the donghua in production as well. The Eng-subbed donghua can be seen using the WeTV app or on Youtube:  YT MDZS Donghua Playlist

Grant it, the donghua is even more censored than The Untamed, but the donghua team still managed to sneak in some easter eggs (f.e. WangXian naked bathing scene in the cold springs from the novel...in The Untamed they were fully clothed) and more importantly, the animation is just gorgeous so it’s absolutely worth a watch despite the censorship. 

READ THE MANGA (aka “Manhua” in Chinese)

Read the manhua which is ongoing and is being officially translated by WeComics, available on their app for free. Search under the name “Mo Dao Zu Shi”.

Unfortunately, the official translations are more than 20 chaps behind the raws and there have been complaints about the quality of the translations in the past, but I believe they’re starting to improve so since they’re official, it’s always better to support the official source.

The raw untranslated manhua can be found on the Kuaikanmanhua app. Other than being in Chinese, some of the chapters (f.e. the most recent ones) are behind a paywall, but here’s a tutorial on how to purchase the chapters, provided by @chiharuzushi on Twitter:  Kuaikanmanhua Tutorial

The chapters are quite cheap...I purchase 1000 KK coins for 10 rmb ($0.14) and each chapter is only 68 KK coins so even if we end up with 500 chapters it’ll still be...er...quite cheap overall (don’t make me do the actual math). The most painful part is figuring out how to set up the Kuaikanmanhua account, but otherwise, if you can read Chinese or know enough of the story by now that you don’t really need to read the words, the manhua is definitely worth reading because it’s less censored than The Untamed and the donghua. 

LISTEN TO THE AUDIO DRAMA

Listen to the audio drama, which is at this point the most faithful and LEAST censored adaptation of the novel we will probably ever get! Wei Ying’s voice actor in The Untamed is the voice actor for his audio drama counterpart. (Yes, almost everyone in The Untamed is dubbed by a voice actor, EXCEPT for Nie Huaisang. Ji Li, the actor for NHS, was the only one who used his own voice. Lan Zhan in The Untamed shares the same voice actor as his character in the donghua). 

Each episode art of the audio drama is AMAZING. Google Translate works well on the site, you’d want to see the listeners’ comments cuz they’re just adorable and hilarious.

The audio drama was supervised by MXTX-laoshi, the author of the novel, so a lot of love and care went into the production, and it shows. Ngl, it was tough at first navigating all that, Google translate helped, but once I figured it out, it was all so worth it because in addition to the MDZS, the site houses a lot of other wonderful audio dramas. There are also MDZS fan songs on the site that are near professional quality and oh so good.

Show them some love too for translating the episodes, but please if you can, purchase the episodes so you can support the audio drama team which have done an amazing job.

It’s in Japanese but just follow the pictures. I’m hoping that the Japanese audio drama will end up being the MOST uncensored version of MDZS since Japanese BL dramas are not afraid (and allowed) to go all the way to R18. XD

MORE THE UNTAMED CONTENT

Lastly, if you’re just thirsting for more Untamed content, there are two spin-off movies you can watch. The first one, The Living Dead, is kind of centered on Wen Ning and Sizhui post-CQL. 

The second one, Fatal Journey, is focused on the Nie brothers, Nie Mingjue and Nie Huaisang, with a cameo by Jin Guangyao. It takes place prior to Wei Ying’s return from the dead.

Of the two movies, I definitely recommend Fatal Journey more. Both movies are available on the iQiyi app, which offers a one month free trial for first members. Each month afterwards for VIP is $6.99.

You can also go on the WeTV app for even more Untamed extras: WeTV put out a special edition cut of the show which tightened up the story AND features the original ending that was intended before censorship forced the production team to come up with the more ambiguous one we saw in its original run. It was a simple matter of rearranging certain scenes and getting rid of the separation part, but imho it really made all the difference to the ending.

There’s a ton of behind-the-scene cuteness that you can watch and also concerts with the cast in Thailand and Nanjing. VIP subscription to the WeTV app is $5.99/month and the Nanjing concert is for rent for 3 months at about the same price.  

The show also put out two official soundtracks, one for the vocals and one for the score. Both are available on Amazon and iTunes. For Amazon though, you can search under “The Untamed” but they did this weird thing where the vocals one is listed as “The Untamed (Chinoiserie Music Album)” (wtf) while the score is just listed as “The Untamed (Original Soundtrack)”.

Finally, most of the male members of the cast took part in a fan meet and greet at the start of the show, before it became hugely popular. The entire meet and greet is available on youtube subbed: The Untamed Fan Meeting

It was about damn time that we were FINALLY able to solve that big ass problem that has been looming over our heads ever since the beginning of the Crossbell-Saga, before even the Erebonia-Arc began. Its been two years or so since then. (I am happy for you, Crossbell and the SSS...)

Were not hinting at anything here. Nooooooo. Not at all would we be even thinking of trying to hint a relationship between Elie and Lloyd. Noooooo. Never. BTW... now the Credits are rolling for real XD

We all saw that coming WAY before the Crossbell-Saga was even over. Nothing the less, I am really glad and happy. I always liked and supported that ship. Plus, we have one more man with a Ring on his finger. Just a dozent more to go or so XD

Even tho Duvalie herself hinted that (just like one of the Anguise predicted at the end of CS4) she is still part or Ouroboros, I do hope we will have her at our allie once more some day. She has really grown on me.

I am so damn glad about this too. Welcome back Iliya. We really, truly missed you.

Nothing can beat the CS4 Ending, but this was a nice way to finish all their storys for now.

I like the idea of a Hajimari two were we are fighting alongside the Calvard-Team and another one that we come across after that, the third team being a mix of our Liber, Crossbell and Erebonia Teams. That would be kind of nice.

I am taking a look at the special scene on YouTube and I have to say... this person is a riddle for me. The Grandmaster must be very special, thinking of how highly Vita thinks of her and all. And yet... there is something off about her.

All this is hinting at the fact that this is not the grandmasters true form. That this is somewhat her disguise. That she looks different normally... This is all very confusing ^^’

In about 3 years from Hajimari, the world is supposed to end. That is what Bad-Ending-Rean wanted to warn Lloyd about, which he has been rejecting to hear, because hope-speech and friendship-speech and if Rean gets killed because of that, Lloyd will burn in hell... (achem) and he too stated, that it might be even less then 3 years. Kuro no Kiseki plays 2 years after this. Meaning there is likely only half a year left, before whatever is going to happen is going to happen. So lets see how they fit that into the Kuro timeline.

So I am more or less done with the main plotline of Hajimari no Kiseki. I stay with the 8 out of 10 points until I am able to play the english version of the game.

But it was a very good game all in all.

Hakuoki Tsukikage no Shou - Kazama Final Chapter Translation

So. [im going to swear.]

I tried doing something truly fucking insane. I wrote and copied out almost every single stupid shitty word in Chinese from the CH subbed video for this (99% of everything of this was done w/o freaking copy and pasting since it was too fucking hard to locate every stupid duplicated word that i wrote) with my mouse onto google translate (I don't have any other way to input words cuz i don't have a damn input device) before i went and translated this. 

at the time i did this, writing out every stupid shitty word was a lot fucking faster than using an ocr text extractor at the time since i kept having problems with the one i was using... and my fucking gawd did this feel soooo freaking tedious and it really did hurt my hand and arm for a while.... to the point that i’ll still complain about it despite how that was done back around the time i did the tsukikage countdown video....

i fucking demand that everyone who reads this thank me for hurting myself for the sake of getting this stupid chapter translated lol... all in all, i wrote out over 4600 stupid fucking Chinese characters of this in one sitting....

oh and i think i might have forgotten about copying some of the punctuation but idfcrn.

on that note, i also found the Hakuoki stage play with Chinese subs but I refuse to do anything with it as long as those words aren't in text since that's more than 2 hours long, and i’m not that masochistic or insane xD. if anyone wants to volunteer as tribute though to copy/isolate the text though that’s another matter. 

also i had to go read up on more damn history than i'd have liked to in order to translate this damn thing cuz i couldn't understand several words in Chinese since they were Japanese terms which made doing this even annoying since that meant extra work for me to do... and omfg i hated writing this out despite the fact that doing so did save me a significant amount of time cuz I was still pretty bad at using photoshop when i did this...  though I can definitely say that this will be the absolute fucking first and last chapter of anything that i’ll ever write out again since i can say that my photoshop skills have improved enough so that i can extract text at a significantly faster pace and with more accuracy...

This type of housework, would usually be finished quickly.... But today my concentration, from the start until just now, wasn't here.

Kazama Chizuru: I always think it's unimaginable in how I am able to recognize you by your breathing, Chikage-san.

Presumably my answer probably surprised him since Chikage-san's eyes widened......

After entering the Meiji era, former samurai are now referred to as "shizoku"...... No longer able to receive an official's salary, I've heard that they have had difficulties in securing their livelihoods.

Kazama Chikage: After last year's "conscription notice," it is said that official talks to forbid carrying of blades were given with the "conscription notice."

Kazama Chizuru: Forbidding the carrying of blades? That is to say......

Kazama Chikage:......Do not worry, our Kazama family/clan has promised to help the Shimazu clan.

maybe i’ll go translate yamazaki’s final tsukikage no shou chapter... in like 2 years. or something. if someone hasn’t done it by then. lol. unfortunately, tsukikage is not on my priority list since 95% of what CH TL I’ve seen is only available as videos... and while I’d very much prefer to translate Saito’s ginse no shou route, the only thing that I’ve found with CH TL so far is a short clip from the 2nd common route chapter.... plus, i still have ssl to worry about... and even then, there are some dramas that i really wanted translated along with the rest of kyoka-roku... 

final edits will be done when i start caring about them... later.

also this is chapter 8 for kazama’s route. each route in tsukikage and ginsei no shou has their own unique ending music.

Cravendy Hound pushes, but the machine will not budge through the door. She pushes harder. It still does not give. Cravs becomes incredibly angry and kicks it. It does not help whatsoever.

Riylli Aliapoh: "Try turning it again!" Riylli called out to Cravs, being totally helpful as she rested nearby with her hat in her lap.

Cravendy Hound: “Not ‘elpin’. ARGH.” Cravs tries to pull it out in order to adjust its angle, but finds it firmly wedged into the door frame. She takes a few steps back, and then rushes at it, her shoulder leading the attack. And for the second time that day, she regrets charging at metal.

Riylli Aliapoh: "Pfft." Riylli couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at Cravs misfortune. Serves her right for calling Miqo'te 'cat-folk'. She gets herself up on her feet, the ride back on the carbuncle having given her time to recover slightly. "Hmm... I think you got it stuck... Hope no ones inside still?"

Cravendy Hound rubs at her tender arm, wincing all the while. “.....No, there’s definitely people inside.”

Cravendy Hound: "But they're smart. They'll manage." She hopes. "Now 'ow are we gonna get this thing through?"

Riylli Aliapoh frowns, putting all of her thinking juice into the tank. "Maybe... Maybe we can take it apart, then just put it back together inside?" She offered, approaching to look the thing over, despite having no idea what she was actually looking for. "Uh... You good with machines?"

Cravendy Hound sucks air through her teeth. “Don’t think my smarts with guns translates to...to whatever this thing is. Take it apart sure, but don’t know if it’ll be put back together.”

Cravendy Hound hums in thought. “Ye think if we oil it up enough, it’ll slide through?”

Riylli Aliapoh nudged the thing with her foot. "...Maybe? Can't say I've ever had to use the stuff before. Couldn't hurt to try though, right?" She gave a helpful shrug, and another helpful nudge with her foot. "Do... we have oil? Where do we get oil?"

Cravendy Hound: “Uh.” She had not thought that far ahead. “We could go and buy some at the Botanist’s guild back in Gridania. But how many jugs of olive oil would it take to cover this thing, and...shit. Forget I said anythin’, this is a trash idea.”

Riylli Aliapoh: "Well we gotta do something!" Riylli insisted. "My votes still on taking it apart. That's what they're gonna do inside anyway right? What's it matter if we just get it out of the way now?"

Rising Lotus strolls through the gateway to the yard, slowing down as she see's the spider they had just hauled crammed into the dooryway. "...So..." she glances at the two she caught red handed.

Riylli Aliapoh: "Duh, saws are for wood and stuff." Riylli explained, looking around at the forge set up outside. 'What we need is... Hmm... Oh!" The Miqo'te's eyes glistened as she rushed over to the fire and picked up a pair of tongs. "This thing looks perfect!"

Cravendy Hound: "................." She looks away, avoiding Rising's stare.

Riylli Aliapoh: "Rising! Good timing, you get to prove how big and strong you are." She said, flashing a grin as she held up the blacksmiths tongs towards her

Rising Lotus is at quite a loss for words, especially as Riylli ran over to grab a pair of tongs. "..What's your plan here then?" she backed up a bit as the tongs were suddenly offered to her.

Cravendy Hound: “Plannin’ to take the machine apart, cause pushin’ it ain’t workin’.” Cravs walks over and peruses the tools available. A hammer, maybe? Smash it until it’s compact enough to make it through the entryway? Hmm...

Riylli Aliapoh fiddled with the tongs, opening and closing them like they were a set of jaws. "Well, were gonna take the outside parts off the thing, and I bet you can use this to... pull it..? Like peeling an orange." She finished with a nod too confident for the current situation

Rising Lotus "Wasn't the whole point of bringin' it back more intact? I feel like it'll piss Haila off if parts of it are all smashed up, as good a plan as that is..." as she looked over the broken machine and then the doorway she was mentally picturing where to smash it to let it slide, shaking her head of the idea afterwards. " Hmm, I got an idea though, Riylli, can you magic me up a rock?"

(Haila Wetyios) im just here sitting and eating while terrified for this poor spider))

Riylli Aliapoh hesitated, still pretty drained but not about to admit it. "Er... How big? What're you planning?" She asked, absolutely not stalling for time

Cravendy Hound: “If all fails, we can smash the doorway.” In an effort to look cool, Cravs hefts the hammer over her shoulder, but nearly loses her balance as the heavier end falls to the right. The hammerhead is stopped by the stairwell, and Cravs crosses her legs a beat after. All according to plan.

Rising Lotus held her hands apart, about the size of the soccer ball. "All ball like, smooth too."

Cravendy Hound suddenly realizes that there's somewhere she needs to be, and leans back forward. "Bugger, I'll 'ave to leave ye two to it. Best of luck."

(Cravendy Hound) brb dinner! :D ))

Riylli Aliapoh rubbed the back of her head. "Well... I can't really make it into a ball. You kinda just gotta take rocks in the shape they come, unless you wanna sit there working it for bells at a time." She blinked as Cravendy suddenly ran off. "H-Hey! You can't just leave us with your mess!" She called out angrily, then huffed as she realized it was too late and the woman was gone

Rising Lotus rubbed her chin. "Well it's not gonna work if she's gone. Was gonna smash the window with the rock then help unstuck it from the inside." she looked back to Riylli. "You look a little too spent to try that kind of liftin' right now."

Riylli Aliapoh planted her hands on her hips. "I'm fine." She stated stubbornly. "Why'd it even have to be a ball if we were just gonna smash a window with it? And... I don't think Haila and the others'll be happy if we break the window"

Rising Lotus beamed. "Well, I needed you to give me a rock so I could blame ya for breakin' it of course! Figured if it'd be a fancy rock it'd make more sense that you did it." she shrugged "Beside, between the spider, the door frame, the window, whatever might get smashed ain't gonna make people happy. Window jus' seems like it'd be the easier to fix.

Haila Wetyios | Suddenly there was a loud knock on metal from the other side, it was a very alarmed Viera that immediately called out to them. "Please tell me there were no casualties when bringing this?!" she said from the inside as the big spider moved a little bit due to pushing from Haila's end of the door.

Riylli Aliapoh made a face. "Alright, I'm never making any rocks for you now-" She began, only to jump as Haila's voice suddenly rang out from inside. "Um... N-No, no casualties!" Riylli awkwardly called back. "Cravs got the thing stuck trying to fit it through the door though. And Rising was gonna break a window and blame it on me!" She tattled to the Viera mom, giving Rising another glare as she did

Rising Lotus rolled her eyes. "Yeah it went very well, thing should be mostly workin', almost no thanks to Riylli though. She wanted to smash it to get it out of the door." If the miqo'te was going to tattle she might as well too. "But now that you're here, well there, you can help us get it in.. or out maybe. Where do ya want it?

Riylli Aliapoh: "I didn't want to smash it! I wanted to PEEL it. With these tongs!" She clanged them together once more for added emphasis. "You don't need the outside part anyway, right?"

Haila Wetyios stopped trying to push at the spider from her end, for a moment if either of the two were sharp on listening in, they would have heard a sigh of relief from the Viera, followed by silence. "I can tell 'tis mostly intact... and with clean cuts to the joint too.." she murmured, clearly passing her hand over the large creature. She paused, looking it over before calling out to them once more. "How about you just peel back the flesh? It won't really need it and I can attach whatever falls off."

Haila Wetyios | That's right, a good chunk of the spider was actually covered in weird squishy flesh.

Riylli Aliapoh immediately shoved the tongs into Rising's hands, sticking out her tongue victoriously. She was an adult. A victorious adult.

Rising Lotus glared at Riylli, snapping the tongs in an attempt to catch the girl's tongue. "I'm sorry I didn't want to start takin' a killed spider apart! At least comin' from Haila I know it's safe now!" she flung the tongs onto the ground, taking the knife off the back of her belt. Rising Lotus off onto the ground.

Riylli Aliapoh: "Wha- It wasn't my fault! Cravs did it all, not me. Maybe if yoouu had been around it wouldn't have gotten stuck." She chided, finally removing her coat as it was beginning to get a bit warm with it on.

Haila Wetyios sighed rather loudly this time, "Less talk and more work! Whoever brought this in could have set it on the front yard and then let everyone inside know you were back you know..."

Rising Lotus was busy carving away, mostly ignoring Riylli's complaints at this point. "You'd think this stuff would smell worse than it would, but it ain't too bad." she pulled a particularly sticky and slimy piece off "Gross feeling though."

Riylli Aliapoh eventually did approach with her own knife in hand, beginning to help carve the spider despite her complaints. "That was Cravs," She decided to chime in still, wanting a bit of revenge for getting ditched with the problem. "Please don't start eating the spider... Even hunters have limits."

Rising Lotus had made a pretty good time with her carving, most of it on her side near or almost near the metal core. " I mean, well this thing ain't natural, but if there was a real big spider you wouldn't try it? It's legs would probably be like crabs legs or somethin'." she pondered a old fashion spider boil "Though I guess if it's poisonous you shouldn't eat it."

Riylli Aliapoh had started later, but she had plenty of experience in carving animals and was making good progress. "Ugh, no... We occasionally kill banemites back home, but not even the elementals getting pissy would convince us to eat 'em." She muttered, trying not to think about it. "I ain't about to eat crabs either. Nothing but water spiders if you ask me."

Rising Lotus "Crabs acre actually somethin' callled crustaceans! Different than spiders somehow, not sure how but that's what some fish scientist told me once." she sheathed her knife and clapped her hands together as her side was done, leaving it much slimmer than before.

Cravendy Hound returns, clearly inebriated. The appointment that had dragged her away from this problem earlier? Maybe not something she had to go to right away. She stumbles over, raises a bottle over her head, calls out to Riylli and Rising. “Oyyy, not done yet?”

Riylli Aliapoh: "Yeah, well, some scientists think Miqo'te are related to cats, so..." She left it at that, her thoughts on that conclusion likely obvious. She turned around to glare angrily at Cravs as she suddenly appears, and appears drunk at that. "You... This is your mess, get over here and work dammit!" She said, tossing her latest carving of flesh at her

Rising Lotus grumble as Cravs returned, bottle in hand. "Aye! Get you're drunk ass over here and push this thing in now!" following Riylli's example, she found a particularly slimy bit she cut off and lobbed it towards Cravs, grinning devilishly as she did so.

Cravendy Hound laughs as the flesh chunks smack her directly on the chest. “My mess? Was it?” She hiccups, and then takes a seat on the ground. “Yerrrr both doin’ great though. Keep up the good work.”

Riylli Aliapoh: Nope. Nopenopenope. Riylli marches over and snatches the bottle out of the drunken Cravs' hand, taking a swig for herself and refusing to give it back. "Y'know what, it's carved enough. You go push it now, doubt you'll be useful for anything else anyway." She chided angrily, complete with her hands on her hips

Rising Lotus sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose and she started to walk away from the carved up spider. "Yeah jus' hurry up and get it in, I need a drink myself after this..." after saying that though her face lit up and she pulled a flask out of her satchel. She popped the cap off and took a swig...of nothing. Damn you past Rising!

Cravendy Hound wobbles back as the bottle is taken from her hands, as stable as a pillar of jello. She doesn’t struggle at all, and instead chooses to lie down on the ground, rolled to her side. “Bloooody bilgerat...yer not me mum.” A string of incoherent half-insults and half-words follow.

Riylli Aliapoh blinks, then nudges Cravs with her foot. "It's been like... not even a bell since you disappeared. How th' hells a giant like you such a lightweight?" She let out a sigh, then took another swig. Maybe Cravs had had the right idea after all. "Alright, whatever, you're up then instead Giant Number Two." She said, motioning to Rising with the bottle

Cravendy Hound: “The secret, my fuzzy funny friend, is drinkin’ lots in a short amount of time.” And whatever is in that bottle is awfully strong. Hic!

Rising Lotus started grumbling again until it loud scoff. "You two are both useless! Both of ya get it stuck and I'm the one that has to do the most work!" she stomped over to the spider, squatting down and  easily lifting the heavy machine. There was lots of swearing and grunting, but she managed to get it inside with a mighty shove, clearing the doorway. Panting, she stood in the doorway looking back at the two. "Well at least /I/ can get inside now." with a smirk she slammed the door shut >

Rising Lotus the next sound being the lock clicking closed.

(Cravendy Hound) also I was catching up and sdjfkldsfj Rising asking for a smooth rock killed me )) (Cravendy Hound) YOU LOCKED THE DOOR AAahahah xD ))

Riylli Aliapoh blinked, staring at the now locked door for one long moment before taking another big swig. "You Roegadyn are impossible..." She mutters at Cravs, then marches up to the door. "AND HOW'RE YOU GONNA GET IT THROUGH THE SECOND DOOR, GENIUS!?" Riylli yelled as loud as she could.

(Riylli Aliapoh) (Can you believe these guys helped build a town

Cravendy Hound lets out a hoot as the entrance is -finally- cleared. Alright, time to get off the ground. The bed in her room is far more comfortable than lying on the dirt. She rolls onto her stomach and then heaves up with no small amount of effort. Cravs groans, forcing left foot over right until she’s miraculously next to the door...but why won’t it open?

Rising Lotus would yell back "NOT LIKE YOU'D HELP ANYWAY! HAVE FUN SLEEPING IN THE RAIN!" she stomped up the stairs towards the bar.

Cravendy Hound: “Nnnnnoooooooo, come back. Rising, I’m gonna die out ‘ere.” A gross exaggeration, clearly, but Cravs wails nonetheless.

Riylli Aliapoh: "I DON'T EVEN LIVE HERE YOU IDIOT!" Riylli shouted right back, at this point the pair having probably woken up the neighbors. She lets out a frustrated sigh and plants her head against the door, going quiet for another long moment before finally turning to Cravs. "...So... Do you got a key or somethin'..? You ain't gonna like... Die, if I leave you out here, right?"

Cravendy Hound blinks, uncoordinated, but snaps back to attention when Riylli asks her about dying. “SHHH, don’t tell that to Risin’! We want ‘er to open the door!” She whispers loudly.

Rising Lotus after a few minutes footsteps could be heard coming towards the door and it was unlocked, Rising opening it up and still looking quite frustrated. "..Jus' hurry up an' let her get in here so she can lay down.." she had a bottle of her own in her hand by now, and clearly wanted to get back to it once Cravs wasn't passed out on the lawn.

Riylli Aliapoh glares, muttering under her breath as she basically shoves Cravendy in through the doorway. "'Hurry up' huh? Like it's my fault you locked the damned door... I didn't sign up for this shite, I should be hunting monsters right now..."

Cravendy Hound: “..mhn, that’s right...I’m an officer.” Cravs reaches into her pocket, pulls out a key, and attempts to guide it to the keyhole. But what happens is that the door whips open, she gets pushed through, and she ends up jabbing the key at Rising.

Rising Lotus was able to catch the roegadyn as she was shoved in her direction, keeling forward a bit as the key was pushed into her gut. Taking a deep breath in she fixed her gaze at Riylli, staring daggers at her. "Well. She's in here. so then LEAVE." there was a sharpness to her words as the unfortunate Miqo'te became the target to vent all of this sudden frustration on.

(Cravendy Hound) a slowly unfolding disaster )) (Rising Lotus) Right xD? (Riylli Aliapoh) (If only Rising had just used those darn tongs (Rising Lotus) To be fair though, I think we all know how moving couches through doorways can be, this was bound to happen (Cravendy Hound) xD ))

Riylli Aliapoh: "Fine! And when Haila asks why there's a spider carcass in the lobby and guts all over the lawn, you better not leave any details out!" Riylli shot back angrily, tensions definitely running high. "I'm goin' home, good luck with the hangover." She muttered finally, and began to stomp off on her long way home

Cravendy Hound leans her full weight on Rising and wraps an arm around her shoulders. Pressed up against her, she weakly tries to defuse the budding conflict. “Oy oyy, there’s no need for fightin’...” And though it takes a while, she eventually finds her balance again. Seeing Riylli leaving, she calls out to her. "SEE YA..."

(Cravendy Hound) ...space cowboy )) (Cravendy Hound) nothing like bonding over a dangerous battle, only to lose it all over door drama pff )) (Riylli Aliapoh) (The only solution is to bond over drinking next time

Rising Lotus grunted as she was suddenly supporting Cravs, huffing as Riylli started off, the frustration in her face starting to change to regret. With a sigh she pushed it all down, rolling her eyes as Cravs said her good bye. Once she was  able to stand on her own, Rising dumped her on the couch and hurried off to her room.

(1) Omg!!I’m so glad I found this blog. I really need to rant about LO. I hope it’s okay that I rant! ^^ (1/?) Advertisement I hate the fact that Webtoon will never shut the fck up about Lore Olympus. Every single time I go to their Instagram or Twitter... Lore Olympus this! Lore Olympus that! Like Stfu! Stop fcking saying how “good” LO is and help smaller creators who have better storylines, characters, and plots! Stop shoving that shit into people’s faces!

(2) Diff anon but i saw the Lo Daphne art and she looks literally like Persephone but with pointy ears and a braid. Surely the main character should be a unique color/design? Yet Daphne and several other nymphs are just Pink Persephone with pointy ears and longer hair. Smythe has good technical skills when she bothers to draw anything but she is god awful at character design. Lo Hades looks fairly unique and stands out, while every woman is a slightly different version of each other.

(3) So, the early release of LO had a paragraph long trigger warning on it. So you'd think oh there must be something traumatizing in it, right? Nope, it was Apollo going on a date with Daphne and him talking to Thanatos. You're going to put a huge warning on NOTHING but only do a measly "warning" on a chapter that triggered actual rape victims who you deemed "haters' afterwards for asking for better warning and an apology?! The editor deserves a raise for dealing with this adult-aged child.

I am tired of seeing LO ads in Webtoons EVERY time I get there, especially when there are so many talented creators there. My fansign experience (10.04.2019)

Soooo after 2 months here finally comes my fansign experience. I will try to keep it short but still it will be way to long so I will place it under the cut after Hongjoong. I hope I don’t make anyone sad or something and it can make you smile a bit maybe~

Hongjoong

When I came up to him and told him that I am nervous he instantly told me not to be nervous and tried to make me laugh. When I asked him why he said that I am cute when I laught. He then proceed to laugh with me about my post-it question which was telling me the mental ages of the members. Afterwards we still had time since Seonghwa was still busy so I let him guess my age. He asked if he should guess in korean or german age and I told him that he could decide and he decided on german age. He then leaned back and proceed to drag his gaze up and down until he settled on my eyes. And guess what. He said 23 which is kinda right since I tun 23 later this year. We were both so surprised since normally noone guesses my age right and he was surprised probably that he got it right and that I am older than them ^^

For the general vibes he gave me during the fansign: He has such a calm and funny vibe. He was nervous, you could tell, but he was always sure of himself and about what he was saying to you. Truly the perfect leader who did everything he could to calm you down or make you laugh depending on what he thought would help you more ~

Seonghwa

Let me give you something of his trained english: “HI, oh you bought shiber with you. How are you.” ... “Nervous? Me too, so nervous.” He leaned so close while we were talking. His post-it question was about his favorite korean food. And he asked me if I have ever eaten Ramen in the end and I was like “Yeah yesterday before the concert.” He was so surprised, happy and excited and was telling me that he actually ate ramen 10 minutes before the fansign and that I shouldn’t tell anyone ^^ In the end he gave Shiber a pat and said that I should come to Korea to eat with him. Poor baby was wearing so much make up tho. 

Seonghwa has such a calming vibe. Like, I literally thought I would freak out while sitting in front of him. But he hold eye contact all the time and let me tell you, you could see his eyes shining with happiness. He was so happy and it managed to calm me down instantly. I don't know how often he told me how nervous he is too. It makes you feel so much better knowing that they were struggling with nervousness too.

Yunho

The first thing after he read my name was saying how muched he loves my name. He also loved that I am becoming a teacher. Though he guessed that I'm a English teacher since my english was so good. When I tried to explain him what I am studying he was struggling to understand what I mean with the word math but he understood biology. After he read my post-it note (where I asked him to write down some encouraging words for studying) he asked me why. So I told him that I was struggling with university and was scared to actually fail it in the end. Yunho said that I should always study hard and that whenever I feel that it gets to much that I should know that he will think about me. I told him that he is cute when I got up to get to Yeosang and he got so shy ~

Yunho gives the BIGGEST boyfriend vibes! Idk. It's so hard to describe actualy. But he was so curious about my studying and teaching. And I think he kinda felt bad that he didn't understood a word, but hyped me up anyway. I got the feeling that you could tell him everything and anything and he would listen to you! He always looked to endluged in whatever atiny was telling him. If you ever need someone to just listen to your rambles and then tell you that everything will be alright you will love him!

Yeosang

He. Is. So. Cute. And.. he didn't shave^^ He had so much make up on his face trying to conceal it but you could see it clearly. It was so adorable. And he was wearing blue contact lenses. Oof. I asked him to sort all member into Hogwarts Houses (because I knew from a gc beforehand that Yunho would get that question like 3 times already) and he was so eager to do it. He struggled with some word but I had written the house names in the original colors so that helped him. Actually he asked me to help him sort after a while and it was so much fun (San was watching me while doing it because he was bored but I will scream about it later). It was especially funn when we had written down 7 members and we both were looking down left and right wondering who we forgot to sort (it was Jongho btw) :D

Yeosangs vibes are just.. He is so cute. The cutest. You could actually see in his eyes how nervous he was, but he tried his best to talk to you. His english might be broken but he was so sweet trying so hard to make you understand what he was saying. He used up so much time talking to Atiny, the staff in the back almost always tapped him on his shoulder and saying that he was taking too long. And he gave me and others such a good and calming vibe because of it. Like a rock in a waterstream or something. If I ever had a problem I would go to him and he would just hold me and tell me it's fine.

San

OMG San. First of all, before I even got a chance to meet him, he- ugh. Let me tell you something. I was sitting first row, number 17, when I had to get up to start getting in line he still had no one sitting in front of him. So he saw me picking up Shiber and getting in line (I didn’t saw that). A bit later when I was waiting in line I watched the members one by one because I felt like somebody was watching me. San.. He was starring at me. Because he saw me waiting there with a Shiber plushie. When we locked eyes he made a sign like “I am watching you, just you wait until you get here” and was smiling so brightly. When he had to look away because atiny sat in front of him I broke down. I actually found myself sitting on the floor you can’t fcking believe! 

Okay so when it was my turn to talk to him he was waiting for me (Later in pictures and videos I could see that he actually really was waiting. He looked at me and even had the fcking decency to tilt his head and everyone says his eyes screamed “cute” while he was watching me talking and discussing with Yeosang). The first thing he did was scolding Shiber: "Hey Shiber. What are you doing? You are supposed to be in my bed! What are you doing in her lap, hmm?" It was so funny but I got a bit defencive I guess because I answered: "he's here to protect me because I'm nervous" He just looked up to me and smiled?!! And then to Shiber again: "Good Shiber. From no on you protect her and make her smile for me yeah?" I DIED. When he looked down to write in the album he had his hand open on the table for me to hold it, like an open gesture, but I was so shy. I took it tho after a short while and he smiled and HAD THE FCKINGASLJHDFALSJD sorry.. he pulled his fingers in so my hand was touching him more (what freaking fanfiction is this). And actually, it helped so much to calm me down. He wasn't surprised at all about the kkt groupchat I am in and he was happy about it translating everything he wrote down so I could tell them in the groupchat how much he appreciates them. I had a second question prepared, because I am selfish like that where I basically told him that he is the dimple kind and if I could be his dimple queen (since I have dimplse too) San just smiled and said that I can be his queen ~ He high fived me, smiling down at our hands and even continues talking to me while I was already sitting in front of Mingi (I’m sorry Mingi sweetheart).

Now his vibes: Like.. oof. You just sit in front of him and get all kind of different vibes from him at once. Cute. Handsome. Maybe even get a bit scared if he comes to close. Boyfriend. Soft. Respect. But his voice is so soft, it makes you feel all kind of things. And he respects you so much. Like, the others hold their hands up so you can touch and high five them and he just hold his on the table in front of me (I actually didn’t saw him doing it for anyone else) and let me choose if I wanted to hold hands or not. Such a happy vibe

Mingi

Mingi sunshine I’m so sorry again ^^. But still so much fun honestly. The first thing he did was greeting Shiber and then got cut of by San because he still wanted to talk to me (I’m so sorry Mingi, I couldn’t help myself. How should I say no to San?!) While San and I were talking he signed my album silently. He was so glad that I translated the question and wrote it down in english and korean (my question for him was to list his 3 favorite things to do in his spare time). He was so happy about his question and so he wrote down his answers way to fast. And then he tried to translate them for me (Eat, listening to music, going to the sauna). He asked me which ateez concept of the album I like more the red or the black one. I said black and he was surprised and tried defending the red side ^^

He has such little lost baby kitten vibes. Mingi has so much energy in him and you could see he wanted to just run around. Especially in the end it seems to get really hard for him to just sit still. He was so active he even managed to knock over his water bottle while talking to one of the first atinys xD

Wooyoung

My baby Wooyoung. He was so nervous and looked so scared and insecure. I just wanted to hug him, but of course I wasn’t allowed. When he read my name he was confused because I wrote it normally and in korean. But instead of a “j” I used an “i” in the korean version because it sounds like an i if you pronouce it. I tried to explain to him why I wrote it like this, but I don’t think he understood. While he was signing he started to sing to one of the songs playing in the background but stopped when I joined quietly. I felt so betrayed ^^ He smiled about the question (I asked him what I could do to make him happy) He didn’t translate what he wrote down and I needed 2 weeks to get it translated (work on your fcking handwriting woo baby) Sadly we didn’t talk at all while he was writing. Of course I don’t know the reason for it. I actually think it was because I was one of the first and he was still too nervous, because I saw him smiling and opening up more and more while the fansign went on. When he gave me a high five he intertwined our fingers and said he is happy just like this. I told him that he is cute especially when he smiles and that he is loved by me and Atiny. He got so shy and said thank you ~

Wooyoung was so shy. You know how he always acts so confident, but he is such a shy bean and insecure. And he is pure. So we two were actually just two shy beans sitting in front of each other that didn’t know what to do. But he still has much more confidence than I do. The bit we talked were all initiated by him ^^

Jongho

Jongho is so precious. And he just basically overflows with confidence. I was a wreck when I finally came to him but he was so nice and understandable. His english is really good and you could see that he knows what effect he had. His post-it not was to rank his members from the funniest to the lamest. He started but then decided he want my opinion too. So we sorted them together when he struggled with deciding who was funnier. He smiled so much at me and holds deep eye contact while talking actually. We laughed together about his hippo head and the choices he made on the post-it. When I needed to get up he told me I was cute (this btch). I told him he was cute too and he didn't believe me (maybe because of the hippopotamus head). Since he was sitting in front of me we had some cute moments when he was bored. Looking and smiling at me, encouraging me to take pictures of him

Jongho gives really down to earth vibes. He was so calm. Sure he was confident but he was bubbling with energy and happines you could see in his eyes how he was containing himself. And the respect he gives you. I was red as a tomato when I finally reached him (I saw that on video, so no one can tell me otherwise), but he talked normally with me ignoring my internal struggles. He only broke when I told him that he's cute :D

Final words

This fansign was THE best day in my life so far. 

If you ever get the chance to meet them or you are struggling to decide if you wanna try to see them just do it. Its worth the stress and the money and your time. (The fansign actually cost me less than the concert ^^)

They ruined my biaslist those 2 days completly. Yunho at the concert and everyone else at the fansign. San is still on top and will forever stay there tho.

QUARTET NIGHT LIVE FLY TO THE FUTURE 2018 Report (Day 1&2)

Most details are from 1st day because we usually can’t see 1st day performances except for MC in DVD/BD anyway so i tried to focus on writing details of performance from 1st day more than 2nd (tho in term of perf there weren’t many differences) It contains most of the MCs and my thoughts about it!

Warning: Both reports and translations of the dialogue ARE not 100% accurate.  It’s based on what i and my friend remembered and took notes of. The post is extremely long! And i spent tons of time typing this so there might be a lot of grammar and typing errors. I’d be happy if you would overlook all of my mistakes here!

Edit: Let me apologize for the extreme delay.. I actually had this finished a week after it happened, and i was probably super tired when i finished it. I’m not sure how that happened, but apparently i didn’t post it and this had been sitting on my drafts for six months because i went on a hiatus afterwards.... I realized it after opening tumblr a day ago. I was super sad because it was so long and i spent tons of time writing it.. if possible i don’t want to delete it so here it is!

Opening lines by QN members

Opening VTR, there isn't anything like last QN live but it was visual picture slideshow of previous live and it shows how QN has been around since 2012~now. QUARTET★NIGHT instrumental was playing on the background.

Followed with clock'tick tock sound, bell rang and the main stage monitor was split into two and QN appeared with gold stage outfit and big clock on the background! Tattsun and Morikubo had similar hairstyle to the previous live with minor change (styling?) while maenu had brown hair tied like in 6th live melting of snow performance and shoutan with ai's hairstyle+hair color (bleached in some parts, not entirely but it looks really nice!)

1. THE WORLD IS MINE I actually guessed this would be the first song and i was right! It started with really pretty acapella ;;_;; THEIR HARMONIES WERE PERFECT IT WAS LEGENDARY like it was probably one of the best harmonization i've heard in my life (if previous live wasn't enough) I kinda forgot what happened during this performance because i was too amazed by how good they sang tbh. Pretty sure people know how good QN harmonize, but this one was especially good! If i remembered it right, there were some dance moves! The audience also sang "The world is mine!" part in the bridge, it was fun! I literally cried the moment they appeared i can’t remember much AHAHA //sweats

2.Poison KISS As soon as the intro started people around me went crazy with their screams xD It's more or less similar to what we've seen in previous lives. Do they have any tradition bc they always sing this song since 3rd live xD Except of course, they were dancing a lot more now and this song is actually one of the good example of their improvements! This song is still as hyped as always. They walked from the main stage to the front stage and during that they also did some poses and fanservices

MC (or not really since they were talking in character voice the whole time? kinda like opening serifu) Maenu: *Camus butler mode* Welcome to "QUARTET NIGHT LIVE FLY TO THE FUTURE" ladies and gentlemen. 3. On Your Mark! I personally thought that this song sounds hard to sing (maybe bc of the key progression??) but Morikubo did great! His singing was super stable and consistent, as usual. He danced A LOT more on this one! Probably the most i've seen from reiji's solo so far! And he did super great! ;; It’s similar to the perf he had in 6th live except i think he did even better this time!! He must've worked really hard! He forgot a bit of his part in 1st day xD but he recovered right after!

4. Futari no Monogram I HAD FEELING THIS WOULD COME bc it was the only ai's solo shoutan didn't sing in QN 1st solo con.. and I definitely saw improvements! He was dancing (almost) all of the time and but he sounded A LOT more stable than 5th live (and i think 5th live was already great) it looked so easy for him xD But all in one it's similar to the one we've seen previously, except i think there were some additional moves? (Edit: many parts are entirely different too) In the end shoutan also said "Da~isuki" like 5th live, except it was in a bit more playful tone (kinda teasing tone?) Overall i think he did even better than 5th live! He also did some fanservices and i personally like the part where he fixed his silver gloves.

5. Saintly Territory Maenu appeared with his (this time a bit thin?) white mantle and did the dance like in previous live! Same with shoutan, i think he improved a lot with his singing stability and this time it sounded extremely stable and he looks a lot more relaxed with his dancing too!;; I really love how they keep on improving even tho they were already that good to begin with. He came to from main stage to front stage and suddenly he appeared with camus' stick from halfway and danced with it! xD He danced a lot! I’m not sure if it’s in this song or not but if i remember it right on first day, he also gave us a fanservice of him smirking in front of the camera and people went crazy over it (i mean, me too AHAHA)

6. BE PROUD Remember how legendary 6th live performance of this song was? Yeah, this time it was equally amazing. He appeared with stand-mic and it was a straightforward+simple performance, yet his singing was really amazing i kinda stopped swinging penlight.. The adlib on the bridge was really powerful and it just hit me hard i almost teared up ;; On last reff he went down on his knees and made really pained expression ;; in general he had pained expression on his face and it made me emotional.. also the trademark super-long notes in the end was also there, it was just amazing! I got chills. Personally i like last reff "hoeru shika naku (I have no other choice but to howl)" because he sounded like he was actually howling. BUT SERIOUSLY it was extremely emotional, both days were powerful and all in one it’s just simply amazing. Fight me you don’t like Ranmaru and tattsun after you listen to this performance AHAHA

The screen suddenly said "Acoustic corner, Reiji Camus", Morikubo and Maenu appeared with long sleeves shirt. Morikubo (reiji's) was black (with stage-like vest?) and maenu was white (with blue tie).They greeted the hall and live-viewing audience. Maenu wore camus' glasses. They said they were doing something new, which was acoustic corner! The band (?) was preparing on their back while they were doing the MC. Chairs were also prepared for them and they talked while sitting on it, also telling the audience to sit throughout acoustic performance.

Day 1 They talked about there weren't many chances to have only the two of them on MC and how rehearsal have passed in a blink of eye. It seemed like they were doing it under a lot of pressure (considering last live extreme high quality i'm not surprised tbh lol) Maenu: "It's hard to gather all of us together on the rehearsal" Morikubo: "We only managed to get all together once (?!) on the rehearsal. We sometimes did it with three of us present and for some reasons most of the time one of us couldn't be present." (audience sounded surprised! Me too, they performed really good together i just didn't expect it) Maenu: "I started rehearsal mainly from September. Though of course,  i received choreography videos beforehand." Morikubo: "The red person started really early, didn't he?" (audience laughed) Maenu: "He always got to start rehearsal really early every live" Morikubo: "He always got to start really early i couldn't help but thinking "Eh?! He started already?!" when i heard it." Maenu: "And he'd contact us with "I started with it!" first everytime" After that they were talking about the live and how it started with a new song! Apparently they were practicing it it a lot to the point that they saw it on their dreams lol Morikubo danced a bit (?) of the choreo with his hand, pointed at Maenu and said he often did those moves (practicing the move, the usual maenu’s greatness; not sure but i think it was killer kiss moves?) xD They talked about how it was the first time for the four of them to perform an acoustic corner on utapri live and that the live was fun. Morikubo: "I always receive the choreography video from the dance teacher first and i got to voice my opinion first if the dance was too hard or if it needs to be changed into easier moves. If i'm okay with it then the three of them will follow. (Because he's the oldest) Until now if some parts were too hard i'd say so and got scolded by certain someone (Tattsun LOL). But this time, after receiving it I said nothing about it and did it the way it's supposed to be." (Audience cheers) Maenu: "The choreography was really hard, wasn't it?" Morikubo: "Neverthless, our duty this time is to follow after Quartet Night. If the four of them are supposed to do it that way, then we will do our best to follow after them. We did our best without making excuses." (Audience cheers) Morikubo: "Up till now, there are a lot of idol groups existing right? They dance and sing." Maenu: "They do." Morikubo: "But look at us, we're dancing, singing AND harmonizing. Isn't that rare to be found?" Maenu: "It's rare indeed!" Morikubo: "We're dancing, singing AND harmonizing! (2nd time xD)" (Audience cheers) Morikubo: "If the four of them aim for even higher level, we'll also aim for it and chase after them(characters)!" After that they called for the acoustic band members. They also talked about Maenu's Camus glasses and apparently, Maenu being the biggest Camus fan he is, got the glasses by himself xD (If i remember right it got sold out really fast so i think he meant he put tons of effort to get it)

Day 2  They talked about how they’re doing it on Kobe this time. Up till now utapri live (or most events actually) was held in kanto region/near tokyo but this time the live was held in kansai region (Psst as someone who lives in kansai i’m extremely happy) They greeted people at live-viewing. Maenu: *to the camera* “Can you see us here?” Morikubo: “Live-viewiiiing!” Some of the audiences in the hall went “Fuuu~↑” even tho they were calling for the live-viewing LOL Maenu: “*a bit puzzled* O--oh I could hear their voices, i heard the Fuuu~“ xD From this point they’ll keep on doing this few times if someone let out voices when they were calling for people in live-viewing LOL There was also a small accident of the staffs bringing wrong water-bottle for Maenu (it was tatsu’s) xD They talked about how the penlight color change was automatically controlled by the staffs (like the one on previous live) Morikubo: “I thought it was amazing!” Maenu: “At first i thought ‘they changed the color so quickly!!’ but it seems like that was not the case” xD Morikubo: “Ah, but it’s possible to switch it into your favorite color, right?” Maenu: “Yes, it’s possible to do both” Morikubo: “If i say a color right now would it be possible (for the staffs) to change the color right away?” Maenu: “It’s supposed to be on programmed automatically isn’t it?” Morikubo: “Let’s try it!” Maenu: “I’m not sure, we haven’t told the staffs beforehand!” xD Morikubo: “We haven’t told them anything!” Maenu: “They must be panicking right now” Morikubo: “Everyone, I’ll say ‘red’ so please switch your penlight into another color and don’t change the color manually! Let’s see if it’s possible” Morikubo: “Here i go, red!!!” They waited few seconds and the color didn’t change xD Morikubo: “So it’s not possible!” *audience laughed* Maenu: “It has to be programmed beforehand” in the middle of their talk suddenly all of the penlight on the hall turned red Morikubo: “OHHH IT’S RED!!” Maenu: “That’s amazing!!! The staffs definitely panicked just now” Morikubo: “I’m sorry for doing it suddenly!”  Maenu: “(it’s all in red) So this is what Tatsu saw while singing” Morikubo: “(to audience)Ah, you can turn it back to your favorite color now. Thank you very much for your cooperation” They talked about how the concert hall is a good hall (and i totally agree) and how they could see the audience clearly. Then they talked about how it was a 2 days concert as opposed to prev one. Afterwards Morikubo told us that they’re ready to do it for another day or two xD Maenu agreed Maenu: “Even the rehearsals were fun. Of course there were a lot of hardships, but the sensation of being able to stand with the four of us.. it’s just addictive” Morikubo: “Lately, there’s something all of us often do. Inside the dressing room, when the four of us were sitting in front of the mirrors and our songs were played on the background, we’ll do an imitation/impression of our own characters”  Maenu: “A bit exaggerated one” Audience screamed “Do it~~” and the two of us fell into silence all of sudden xD Maenu: “If you said something like that of course it’ll come into this!” Morikubo: “It’s more or less just what you always hear from us” Audience told them to do it again Morikubo: “Yesterday we talked about such topic. We were talking about how Shouta used to sing demos of most utapri songs and we asked about how he did our character voices. *stares at maenu* How did he do Ran-Ran again?” Maenu: “?! I’d be the one doing it?!”  He did an impression of Ranmaru’s “Arai hou ga ii~” of Poison kiss and it was super funny! xD He made his voice really hoarse and also made funny expression with his eyes wide-opened LOL Morikubo then apologized at him for making him suddenly do it Maenu: “You told me to do it!” Morikubo: “I wasn’t expecting you to do it with that expression” Maenu: “I’m sorry please forget the thing i did just now” LOL Maenu: “At rehearsal we often do something like that to fill the part of the member that wasn’t there. For example Morikubo-san’s part” Morikubo: “They’ll start imitating ‘Tee ↑ ee↑ (the vocal swing he often does, you’d probably get what i mean if you listened to Reiji’s singing in general)” Maenu: *imitates* “More and More and~~(poison kiss w/hands movements too)” Morikubo: “It’s not “Mori mori ok?!”  (means to do something vigorously in japanese) Maenu: “Even all of those things were really fun” Morikubo: “Camus’ (impression) were amazing too you know” Maenu: “Tatsu totally did that on purpose!” Morikubo: “If Tatsu comes later, tell him to do it here” And they called the band

7. KILLER KISS When they talked about how they were going to perform it acoustic i actually couldn't imagine how it would sound with this song but it actually sounded really pleasant! I mean, it sounded a lot quieter than the actual song so you could hear their great voices and amazing harmonization crystal clear! It sounded really refreshing! They also did a bit of the little hand choreography similar to the one on 6th live. They sounded really powerful!

Shoutan and Tattsun appeared. Shoutan had white shirt with lilac-colored flower on his left pocket and Tattsun had black shirt they also talked while sitting like Morikubo and Maenu (At some parts they also stood?).

Day 1 Shoutan talked about how it's refreshing to be able to talk with just the two of them and tattsun agreed to it. In the middle of convo Tattsun just went with sudden "Let's introduce ourself" and the audience laughed. Shoutan: "Everyone, good evening! I'm Mikaze Ai's good friend Aoi Shouta!" Tattsun: "You went with that?! I'm the one who's always standing closest to Kurosaki Ranmaru, Suzuki Tatsuhisa." Tattsun: "Aaa~ It's refreshi-- *looks at shoutan turning his back from audience* Hey! Don't fix your belt here!" (Shoutan a bit panicking lol) Tattsun: "This is why before the live started i told you not to eat that many cream puffs!!"* (if you don't get this reference go search for game and drama CDs involving Ai lol) Shoutan: "That's not true!" lol Tattsun also said Morikubo and Maenu talked a lot so almost no topic left for them to talk xD Shoutan told the camera to zoom at Tattsun's nails. Apparently at previous lives Tattsun's nail colors were normal red but this time he finally had Ranmaru's burgundy dark red! Also Shoutan tried to let his nails grow but at rehearsal two of it hit the mic and broke. He also had Ai's color nail btw. Tattsun: "This time, at rehearsal we were often together. Of course we were looking at each other practices a lot too. The more i see him, to be honest I could only see Shouta as a girl!" Shoutan: "You said that a lot! Stuffs like "what's with that body line!?" Tattsun: "His girl power (女子力) is increasing day by day! If it's me i definitely wouldn't be able to do it! For example this pose *posing*" Shoutan: "This one? *posing*" (hard to describe so take a look at matoni-sensei's report pic here! the pose at the very middle of the pic) Tattsun: "How did you do that?" *imitating but failed* (Audience laughed) Tattsun: "This time, for example the dance, like previously talked, we're following the footsteps of our characters. As they go higher, we as one try to follow them. To begin with I only do stuffs like this once a year here you know!" Shoutan: "This kind of chance doesn't happen often, right? But actually tatsu-nii at his own will, you know, even after the rehearsal was supposed to end--" Tattsun: "Hey~ Stop this topic!" Shoutan: "When the rehearsal ended he'd go around saying "I'm sorry, can i do it just one more time?" you know! Of course we have to make sure we're in good condition by resting well too, but his feelings reached me and it made me want to reply it with same thing." Tattsun: "Right, at that time i had the time so i tried to use all of my time practicing and when i realized it i've been doing it for six and half hours." Shoutan: "Really, how many times did you do the live that time?"   (Audience laughed) Tattsun: "And Shouta was also there the whole time."(Not sure if he said he was standing there or singing behind him) Tattsun: "To be honest, I couldn't produce Ranmaru's voice easily. And so i'd need time to adjust my throat beforehand. Sometimes i got frustrated and was troubled with it alone. And at such times, he'd come closer to me and said "Tatsu-nii, what about doing quartet night songs together?". Among us, Shouta　is the one who's always trying to consider others feelings. At that one time all of us got together, we were troubled with a thing and couldn't come into agreement. At such time, Shouta was the first one to speak up "What about doing this way? Maybe it's going to change for the better!". He was always thinking about our feelings and what to do about it. In that way, he's the one supporting our backs and i think that's what's good about him." After that they talked about how they're going to sing after this with the acoustic band. Tattsun: "We were talking a lot prior to this performance, like how to make it sound better and what to add and improvise." Shoutan: "That's right, we talked a lot about it." Tattsun: "I was thinking of supporting Shouta while he's singing freely with his all, but actually Shouta also adjusts with how i'm singing. It feels like a matchmaking (お見合い)." Shoutan: "It feels like we're sharing same atmosphere!" Tattsun: "It made me feel like, "Ah, so singing with others could be this interesting!" It's really fun. I haven't had chance to sing with someone with such a different type of voices and it feels refreshing. *suddenly bowing?* Thank you so much" Shoutan was off guard because Tattsun just suddenly thanked him and was like "nn?!" xD Tattsun: "So, are we doing it?" Shoutan: "(to the audience suddenly) Do you want to hear us~?" (and of course we said we want to hear it) Shoutan: "They said they want to~" Tattsun: "Why did you start it and answer it yourself?" (Audience laughed xD) Shoutan: "I'm sorry" (Audience screamed "Cute~!") Tattsun: "That part! That's the cute part of you, you know" And i kinda forgot what they said after this.. but not long after they started with title call and the next song started! Day 2 Shoutan: “Good evening~ It’s finally our turn” Tattsun: “No matter how many times we did it, it always feels refreshing to be here (doing MC) with just the two of us” Shoutan: “It does! The previous two’s MC/perf was really heated up” Tattsun: “Right” Both: ”Right~” (audience laughed xD) Tattsun: “First, please introduce yourself” Shoutan: “I’m Mikaze Ai’s best friend, Aoi Shouta!” Tattsun: “I’m the one with privilege to stand closest to Kurosaki Ranmaru, Suzuki Tatsuhisa” Shoutan: “Isn’t it interesting that our introduction changed a bit everytime?” They talked about live-viewing and called out to them Shoutan: *to camera* “How are you guys?” Tattsun: “Everyone at live-viewing places, how are you?” the audiences in the hall went “Fuuu~↑” again Tattsun: “I could hear voices even though it’s supposed to be live-viewing! Amazing!” LOL After that they changed topic into the outfits they wore on acoustic corner Shoutan: “After the first day ended, there was something a lot of people were talking about regarding this acoustic corner. As opposed to our previous gold outfits, in this corner we have a shirt as our outfit. *Tattsun spun to show the audience his outfit*”  Shoutan: “It has Ranmaru’s color on it” Tattsun: “(the red cloth of the lower part of his outfit) I requested this” Shoutan: “For me, i wanted a symbol at Ai’s left chest. The staffs also added Ai’s color on it” (whoever manage to understand the symbolism i love you) Shoutan: “The real topic starts here. The shirt i’m wearing right now is  an oversize shirt. So it has a bit of kare-shirt (It’s a situation when someone is wearing their lovers’ clothes) vibe on it. “ *audience loud screams* xD Tattsun: “Right” Shoutan: “And that’s..” Tattsun: “That’s why you should just say you were staying over in my place” *fangirl squeal* Shoutan: “And there’s the fact that the two of us are doing MC together too.. For a moment i thought 'Eh?! Did i actually stay in Tatsu-nii’s house and borrow his shirt?!'”  Tattsun: “I thought it would look good on you, so you can have it” *embarrassed shoutan* xD Shoutan: “This person right here... Why does he always say this kind of embarrassing lines like it was nothing?! This is embarrassing” (you two so cute stahp) Tattsun: “Could you stop getting ‘seriously’ embarrassed?” xD Shoutan: “Of course i would! *to male audience* Even male would feel the same, right?!”  A male audience answered and tattsun laughed at it Shoutan: “I told you so!” Tattsun: “I could hear your voice (male audience) really clearly! Wait a bit, let me take off my in-ear monitor. (He looks happy to hear them) *male audience cheers*  Tattsun: “This is awesome, i could hear you guys really well! *laughs* Oi, you guys sure have great voices!” (they both look really happy xD) Shoutan: “And obviously, all of you girls, it made your heart throb right?!” *audience cheers* Shoutan: “I told you!” Tattsun: “Wait a bit, why did you put yourself in girls side?!” LOLOL Shoutan: “After standing on many stages of utapri, i feel like i could understand what everyone is thinking about!” Tattsun: “That’s what i told you in the rehearsal wasn’t it?! When i was watching your solo, i told you 'Your girl power(女子力) is increasing even more!'“ Tattsun: “Especially when he was dancing and singing, his body-line definitely doesn’t look like a male!  Shoutan: “Really? *does the same pose as the one on 1st day MC* I ended up doing it like that” Tattsun: “If i’m the one doing it, it looks like a plastic model *does the same pose* So stiff” Shoutan: “But in return you have the coolness of Ranmaru!” Tattsun: “All i could do is being aggresive (オラつくit’s a bit hard to explain)” Shoutan: “That’s Ranmaru!!” After that they talked about flower stand! (btw for some reasons if i go to QN events i always see many cool and artistic flower stands so if you’re curious be sure to look it up) Tattsun: “We wanted to see it by ourselves but it was close to where the audience was waiting so we couldn’t see it. But our managers took a VTR of the flowers for us and we all watched it together. While we were talking about how big and pretty it was suddenly a panel appeared and we were like ‘Eh?! You can create such flower stand?!’” Shoutan: “It was amazing wasn’t it?” Tattsun: “And also, i know it’s a form of love and i probably shouldn’t say an unnecessary comment like this, but there was a flower stand with Ranmaru’s silhouette and an instrument on it. The thing is, that silhouette wasn’t a bass, it was a guitar!!” Shoutan: “A-Ah, the instrument Ranmaru plays is..” Tattsun: “Bass” Shoutan: “And what came was...” Tattsun: “Guitar...” Shoutan: “That was close! So close! B-but it was a silhouette so..” Tattsun: “But.. it was a guitar...” Shoutan: “So close!” Tattsun: “That shape was probably an SG (gibson SG? i’m not sure) guitar..” Shoutan: “You sure know a lot!” xD Tattsun: “*asks a band member* Right?! But i could feel the love and so i think ’It’s okay, a guitar is fine too’” Shoutan: “After all, they made it so pretty!” Tattsun: “Indeed! Among them there were also outfits right? The quality was so high i thought ‘Eh?! Did we wear that outfits?!’” Shoutan: “Eh?! It’s the real thing?!” Tattsun: “Did we give/show the real thing to them?!” xD Shoutan: “Was it leaked somewhere?” Tattsun: “Without realizing it, do they know our three sizes?!” Shoutan: “That’s bad!!” Tattsun: “No way, no way!!! Don’t you think we could charge an admission fee for this?” Shoutan: “That’s right!!” xD Tattsun: “A lot of people also sent it directly to certain character and on that part too i could totally feel your affection for them.” Tattsun: “Yesterday, after 1st day ended we had a small after-party with the four of us plus few people. We talked about a lot of things there and there were a lot of talks full of love for the series. We’ll talk about it in depth after the four of us are all here.” Tattsun: “Also, on dressing room lately, doing an impression of QN members has became a trend, right? Shoutan: “We do impression of each other’s characters. It’s before the live so tatsu-nii brought a stereo--  Is this the right word? I’m hopeless when it comes to such thing..  ” Tattsun: “Shouta” Shoutan: “Yes?” Tattsun: “Ba~ka” (in teasing tone asdhjkf what is this, a shoujo manga?) *Audience screams* Shoutan: “ *a bit of sulking tone* He said i’m an idiot..” Tattsun: “That’s called a bluetooth speaker!” Shoutan: “Ah! It’s a speaker!” Tattsun: “Don’t just go and group everything into 'latest model machine’!” Shoutan: “I’m sorry.. -- so he used a speaker to play the setlist of this live inside our dressing room. And then we’ll hum or sing along” Tattsun: “I thought if there’s no sound maybe the atmosphere would be a bit gloomy so i brought a rather big one and played the playlist of the setlist. And when i did that, suddenly we could hear Rei-chan that wasn’t Rei-chan” LOL Shoutan: “You’re right. After that we would hear an addition of one more person, and another one, we would then hear someone who did an impression of ranmaru, and so on...” Shoutan: “But the thing is, when Camus’ part comes..” Both: “All of us would do it” LOL Shoutan: “It was amazing wasn’t it?” Tattsun: “All of us would gather and sang the “kindan no kajitsu~♪ (killer kiss)” Shoutan: “We did it. Not only our own character, but did such to another character of the same group” Tattsun: “We did it” Shoutan: “Ai’s impressions were also amazing” Tattsun: “When doing Ai we would pucker our lips” Shoutan: “That’s right! Actually, i have such a small mouth/lips so when they’re doing it like that i could hear some similarities.. Tomo-nii also did it. That’s what’s trending on our dressing room lately” Tattsun: “When doing an impression of Ranmaru, all of them would sound so hoarse!” Shoutan: “First of all we would strain our voices” Tattsun: “Raise the distortion to the max..” Tattsun: “Do you still remember the first time you voiced Ai?” Shoutan: “I do! At that time i was just started learning how to be a voice actor. With an illustration of Ai right in front of me, I was thinking of how to make him alive. While thinking of such things i would practice over and over again. After spending a lot of time, i finally managed to do that.” Tattsun: “The staffs were really careful about it weren’t they?” Shoutan: “Yes. What about Ranmaru? How was it?” Tattsun: “A bit roughly but at that time I saw all of the utapri series first. And at that time, i thought that there weren’t many people with low tone voices. As a senpai, when i read the script at that time Ranmaru also said so many harsh words. I was thinking of what to do with it and came into conclusion that to make it sounds manly i should do it with low tone. And so it became like that.” Tattsun: “But that time, i didn’t give it much thought and let out the lowest tone i could at that time.” Shoutan: “I see!” Tattsun: “And so when i’m voicing Ranmaru i have to keep my throat wide opened the whole time” Tattsun: “The first time i thought ‘i’ve done it wrong’ was at the singing recording. At that time i realized that i have to practice hard to produce Ranmaru’s voice well. Especially at the very beginning, i have to warm-up my voice well before recording something as Ranmaru. At that time i’d practice “*Ranmaru’s voice* Oi” with my throat wide open.” Shoutan: “And so it becomes Ranmaru” Tattsun: “*points at the area between throat and chin* the shape of my face here would disappear (bc he’s keeping his throat open).  It would turn into a neck of a dinosaur. ” xD Shoutan: “But after going through all of that Ranmaru was born” Tattsun: “That’s right” Shoutan: “A lot of stories were there”

8. HARUHANA ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE: BEAUTIFUL. I guess this one is easier to imagine in acoustic ver. It sounds really classy~ I must say this arrangement fits this song A LOT! Both of them sang super emotionally ;; Tattsun used softer tones at some parts and shoutan sang some parts more dynamically than others creating an emotional performance;; When this song was released i saw someone said that they voices don't go well with each other, but nah they really need to watch this performance. Their chemistry was heavenly.. their timing, the way their voice overlap and harmonize, even how they put power in their singing, it was a perfection. To be honest, the two of them in this performance probably had the best chemistry i've ever seen in utapri live performances. They shared A LOT of eye contacts! (they were staring at each other like most of the time? lol) They also inserted really pretty adlibs and even harmonize on it. Before last reff they sang it really passionately before suddenly (intentionally) stopped singing for seconds and left a bit of silence. After seconds they start again with really emotional last reff! It was amazing. (Explanation: "Oru youni kasaneatte, koe e to, uta e to~~~ (long notes) Aa *stops for like 3 seconds* yokaze ni fukarete...") Also last reff's "..mune wo sasu kedo ↑" was improvised as the notes went up instead of down. I couldn't say anything other than perfection. I personally like their perf of this song on the first day more than the second day (tho of course it was awesome too) so i kinda hoped utapri would ever release DVD/BD of 1st day of their lives too...

A bit of MC. Tattsun said that because they finally had the chance to sing acoustic they wanted to sing with the four of them and called Morikubo and Maenu!

Day 1 Morikubo said he had two things to say to them Morikubo: "First, the two of us talked about a lot of topics (that Tattsun said they have nothing left to talk) because it took a lot of time for the band to set their instruments on the stage!" xD Maenu: "It can't be helped!" Tattsun: "Talk about of such circumstances when we're on backstage instead of here!" (Audience laughed) Morikubo: "Also second, Tatsu is amazing with his practice and all, but sometimes there's also time when he's only stretching for 2 hours!" LOL ((After this they talked a bit more but i forgot the details, i think my memory went overcapacity starting from here, i'm really sorry //sweats)) They talked about how QN appeared for the first time at 2012. If i remember it right Tattsun also said previous live was only last year (6th) but he felt like it's been longer than that. I didn't remember who brought it up first (Tattsun maybe??) but they then talked about how Shoutan used to provide his singing for the demo/prototype version of utapri songs before the respective seiyuu sing the song! (I think a lot of you knew it already, as people around me already knew abt this too) Shoutan: "You promised you won't talk about this, right?!" xD and they realized they didn't give us enough explanation about what they were talking about and decided to explain. Maenu: "For a period of time, Shouta used to sing for all utapri demo song alone by himself. " Tattsun: "Not to mention, he also sang it the way the character would" Morikubo: "You did STARISH songs and Quartet Night songs right? And what about HEAVENS'? Shoutan: "I also did HEAVENS song!" (Audience and the rest of them were surprised) Tattsun: "That's why, i mean, isn't it a good idea to release those CDs?" Shoutan: "*panicking* No way! No way!" (Audience screamed they want it xD) Shoutan: "It's only good because they (respective char/seiyuus) are the one singing you know! Demo songs are just demo" Tattsun: "Even so, how did you do sing it (the way other characters/seiyuus would)?" Shoutan: "Of course, first i heard each of their CDs. After that i tried thinking of how to sing it so that it's easy to understand who is singing which part. If i sang it all the same way, it'd be hard to understand!" Morikubo: "If that's the case, for example how would you do it if you're doing Ranran's part?" Shoutan: "Wait!! I'd get scolded for this!!" xD (Audience laughed) Tattsun: "You won't!" Morikubo: "Like first, do you need to get your feelings fired up or such? Tell us how you do it! Maybe the audience will have the chance to sing Ranran's part at karaoke or something!" (I kinda forgot this part) Tattsun: "But for some reason, when everyone was imitating Ranmaru's voice, they'll make their voice hoarse. And they'd start saying "I'll kill you!"? Ranmaru didn't even say such thing!" Maenu: "We, and other utapri members (starish seiyuus?) sometimes imitate other character voices on rehearsal and practice." Shoutan: "We did! Also personally same here, when doing Ranmaru's voice i tried to make it sounds threatening (? (LOL xD)) and put my attention on creating more breathy sounds” Morikubo: “Did you hear it guys? Breathy voices!” Shoutan: “But the original singer actually didn’t even do it on purpose right?” Tattsun: “Yes, i’m not aware of it myself” Morikubo: “What about me?! Me?” Shoutan: “With Reiji i’d insert many vocal swings” Morikubo: “Ah, i see!” Shoutan: “Even with Ai there are times i used that kind of singing technique, but after listening to a lot of songs i tried to think of the way i could get the feel with my own voice” Maenu: “What about me?” Morikubo: “With Camus, the first thing is to put in a lot of sugar right?” Shoutan: “Yes xD a lot of sugar cube!” *Tattsun agreing lol* Maenu: “So how did you do it?” Shoutan: “With Camus.. i tried to sing a bit through my nose?” Maenu: “I see! It’s like when Tatsu imitated my voices with bad intentions (LOL) He does it a lot on the dressing room” Tattsun: “Didn’t you do that a lot too?!” Maenu: “We all do! *shoutan and morikubo laughed* Morikubo: “When we all stand side-by-side the ‘let’s imitate other characters tournament’ would just suddenly start!” Tattsun: “Inside the make-up room we were all sitting side by side. At that time the setlist of the concert was playing on the bgm. And then suddenly someone would just start singing a part that isn’t even theirs!” Morikubo: “Didn’t you *points at Maenu* also sing your own part exaggeratedly?!” Tattsun: “He did!!” *shoutan laughed*  Tattsun: “What were you even doing?!” Maenu: “I just thought maybe it would be interesting, i tried to guess how my singing sound for people around me” xD Morikubo: “In the prev live i talked about how singing with the three of you feels so good, right? This time while listening to ourselves in acoustic corner, the existence of Maeno’s solid low notes, Shouta’s clear high notes, and for mid-high notes i’ll be there together with Tatsu’s mid-low notes, make a great balance.” Shoutan: “I thought so too!” Morikubo: “Especially because it’s acoustic you could hear the voices clearly. It felt so nice! What do you guys think of it?” Maenu: “I ag...ree with you *stumbled with his words*” Tattsun: “Which position are you standing on right now?! Also where is your glasses (camus’ glasses) ?!” Maenu: “I took that off” Shoutan: “You took that off!” Maenu: “It’s a coincidence but our voices balance out each other extremely well. They’re so compatible with each other. It’s such a wonder.” Morikubo: “What do you guys think of it? (audience)” *audience claps* Morikubo: “Today is the Culture Day (a holiday in Japan) but we’re able to be here. Why don’t all of you start your own QUARTET NIGHT with 4 people around you right now? (xD LOL)”  Tattsun: “Live-viewing too!” And they show themselves on camera for people in live-viewing! Tattsun: “It’s QUARTET NIGHT~~~~” (his tone was so cute xD karunai dayo~) Tattsun: So, a lot of QUARTET NIGHTs would be born from among the whole country today? (LOL)

Morikubo: “Let’s sing together shall we?” They talked about the outfit a bit before getting into the next song

Day 2 After the performance Tattsun said that it was really fun and called for the other two. Morikubo&Maenu: “It was a great performance!” Morikubo: “I could listen to your (haruhana duo) talk and performance forever” Tattsun and shoutan laughed Shoutan: “Really?!” Morikubo: “I mean it. But Shouta, how could you mistook a speaker for a stereo?!” Maenu: “But i think Tatsuhisa who mistook a video for a VTR (video tape recorder) is also more or less the same” Morikubo: “What has gotten into you?! a VTR?!” *to tattsun* Tattsun: “EH?!” LOL Shoutan: ”I sure made a grave mistake..” Tattsun: “At least i didn’t say something like ‘a beta’ (betamax)” Morikubo asked the audience about the acoustic corner Morikubo: “It felt really good” Shoutan: “It was fun!” Maenu: “It was!” Tattsun: “During today’s rehearsal showtaro-san also talked about this but I feel like we could make a lot more stuffs with this corner” Morikubo: “Like for example, an acoustic live or something” (OMG YES PLS) *Audience cheers* Maenu: “It’ll be great” Tattsun: “For example wouldn’t it be nice if we do it with night sky in the background?” Morikubo: “Our dream keeps on getting even bigger” Tattsun: “We keep on saying this kind of thing, i’m sorry!” (about what they want to do in the future onstage without consulting to staffs xD) Morikubo: “I think it’s important to have a specific dream!” Maenu: “It’s also important to say it out loud” Morikubo: “That’s right, let’s keep on saying it. Words filled with feelings definitely gets across, doesn’t it? xD Morikubo: “Right, it’s amazing. We’re so grateful that a lot of people from the whole country came to see us. Thank you very much” Morikubo: “This time it’s a 2 days concert. What do you think of it?” Tattsun: “Yesterday i felt extremely nervous.. I was full of momentary nervousness, but as i talked on previous MC the four of us had an after-party, didn’t we? It seems like i was really happy. The moment i woke up today all i could think of was about that!” Morikubo: “Actually, it seems like the four of us were really happy about it” *the four of them laughs* Morikubo: “We’re surprised about it ourselves. But it seems like the four of us put our arms around each other's shoulders and walk back to the hotel on that position!” (o mg cute) Shoutan: “It’s a real story!” Maenu: “We were all pretty drunk” Tattsun: “To reach the hotel there was a bit of distance so we decided to just walk to the hotel. The four of us keep on putting arms around each other during our walk back to the hotel! “ Shoutan:“That’s true!” Maenu: “Our managers happened to be on the lobby of the hotel and took a picture of us!” Tattsun: “They were like, ‘what are you guys doing? It’s funny so can i take a picture?’  and took a picture of it! Morikubo: “It was so fun!” Tattsun: “It was a blast! We talked about a lot of things” Morikubo: “We were able to feel this feeling thanks to the group named QUARTET NIGHT. So, Shouta, how was it?” Shoutan: “Even though yesterday was only the first day, I already felt like tearing up many times on the stage.. I tried my best to endure it”  Tattsun: “It’s okay to cry though” Shoutan: “And this person would say something like that!! Near the end when i was about to tear up he would come and say “Oh? Oh? Are you about to cry?” (he’s like provoking shoutan to cry xD) and i’d say “That’s not true!” ”  Tattsun: “That’s okay Shouta~ if you cry I’ll pat your head”   (asdahkf) Shoutan: “But in truth, *points at maenu* tomo-nii was also about to cry in certain song!” Maenu: “A sweat, i was just sweating a lot!” Tattsun: *points at maenu “This guy right there, all he could do it say stuffs like that till he actually breaks into tear!” Maenu:“It was just a sweat!” Shoutan: “Something like that happened! Everytime i stand on this stage, i could feel all of your feelings directly. It directly reached my heart. I’m sure, it also reaches the four of them (chars) directly too.” Morikubo: “It’s our second solo live, so to surpass our previous live, we thought a lot about what our stage is supposed to be. For example the acoustic corner. After this too, we have a lot in store to show all of you here in Kobe. Please look forward to it!” Tattsun: “Among us, Maeno is the most passionate about QN, isn’t he?” Maenu: “That’s not true, all of us are equally passionate about it!” Tattsun: “Of course, we’re all passionate about it! But in terms of concentrating himself to the characters, i feel like he inspires us the most.” Maenu: “That’s not true!” Morikubo: “That’s true, whenever i see him he’s always practicing!” Shoutan: “Exactly! Everytime i’d see him practicing on the corner of the room” Tattsun: “So, how’s this concert for you?” Maenu: “Just as always, while looking forward to it i hope i could leave good memories in the history of QN’s journey. Every moment is so precious and dear to me, it happened to me during 6th live too, but that’s why when the show ended and i have to take off the sparkly and beautiful outfits, i would feel so sad. But of course, if there’s a beginning eventually there will come an end too, so i want to create a lot of memories with all of you before it ends. “ Maenu: “But really, the moment four of us are all here together, i always feel so at ease. It just feels like we’re unbeatable. It’s so addicting.” Morikubo: “That’s true.” Tattsun: “I agree” Shoutan: “When we’re practicing there are a lot of formations. In most of them, we’re supposed to stand a bit apart from each other, but when we started to talk with each other without even realizing it we’d suddenly stand so close to each other!” Tattsun: “Without even realizing it!” Morikubo: “in the previous live something like that happened too wasn’t it? Even though the stage was big, suddenly we all were already in the middle of the stage standing so close to each other! We’re supposed to use the wide stage!” Maenu: “I mean, don’t you think it’s already unusual for four fully-grown adults to walk back to hotel with their arms on each other’s shoulder?!” xD Tattsun: “And the thing is, aside from QUARTET NIGHT we actually always go on our separate ways, right?” Maenu: “That’s true! Even if we meet on another works we’ll just say greetings and go our separate ways!” Tattsun: “Actually this time, the day before the concert, i heard that we could do rehearsal on the hall and i was on the same bullet train with Maeno. I met him in the station of Tokyo. We exchanged “Good morning” and just went our separate ways just like that!” Shoutan: ”Eh?! Really?!” Morikubo: “You didn’t come together?!” Tattsun: “We just exchanged good morning. It’s not like i had any reason to go together with him.” (The way he said it was a bit funny xD a bit tsun) Maenu: “That’s right! I was buying something in the convenience store and Tatsu came in when i was about to quit the store. So it was like ‘Oh so you’re going to buy something here, i see. See you later!’ “ Tattsun: “And so i replied ‘Yeah, i’m going in. Later!’ and went to opposite direction“ Maenu:“But the moment we met up on the rehearsal we would start saying things like ‘Let’s do this part!’ to each other.” Shoutan: “That’s very like Ranmaru and Camus!” *audience laughed xD* Morikubo: “You’re right! That’s exactly the same!” Shoutan:“Exact same!” Morikubo: “The two-shots of these two is interesting so let us see it! *goes away from the other two and gets closer to shoutan* Yesterday when we were eating together it was like that too. They were like Ranran and myuu-chan” Maenu: “But at the group line Shouta also enthusiastically does stuffs like that!” (acting like characters) Tattsun: “He said stuffs like that!” Maenu: “He’d say stuffs like ‘I won’t forgive you if you’re late!’”  Shoutan:��“We uploaded a photo of our hands and mics, didn’t we?” Tattsun: ”We actually created a diamond on that photo” (the more you know) Shoutan:”We’re a group so it’d be better to upload it on the same time. Showtaro-niisan suggested that we all upload it on 21:00. Tatsu-nii edited the photo for us. After he sent it to us, tomo-nii replied with “Can’t be helped, i’ll use it” (like camus xD)”  Morikubo:”Then our whole in-char conversations started!” Maenu:”*points at tattsun* He replied with “You’re not being honest” Tattsun: ”That’s normal thing to say, right?! If you’re going to use it you could just say thanks, right?!” Shoutan:“And they i’d reply with “*Ai’s voice* They’re at it again” and added *back to usual shoutan* let’s do it on 21:00″  Tattsun: “We sure talk in our characters personality don’t we? Shoutan:”We do!” Morikubo:”Speaking of LINE, we actually have an utapri all cast group line and yesterday all of the STARISH members gave us encouraging messages.” Tattsun: ”It made me really happy!” Morikubo:”All of them did!” Tattsun: ”We’re standing here right now as QUARTET NIGHT, but we want to treasure the fact that it’s STARISH who opened the path for us. So it makes me really happy! I feel like that it fired us up even more, it made us stronger” Morikubo then said that they’re going to sing the next song and he suddenly told tattsun and maenu to stand beside each other to which maenu replied with “It’s not like we’re close with each other or anything!” xD and they started with next song

9. Marriage

Because it was acoustic arrangement there weren't any background vocals so instead they sang all of the english background vocals live too (ex: "under the starlight~ let's find our love part" etc) and it was really pretty! ;; if i remember well it's mostly shoutan for higher octave (i thought i heard female voice LOLOL) and switched between maenu/morikubo/tattsun for lower parts! Tbh listening to the reff reminded me how much maenu has improved with his singing/harmonies. It sounded really pleasant. On the middle of the song they introduced band members (i think it was percussion, violin, guitar, bass and keyboard??) while they were sitting on the front stage floor xD it was cute!!

Questions VTR. Seiyuus were asked some questions about their characters (impression, stuffs they like about them, etc) Maenu joked a lot, (or stuffs he said were just purely funny lol) shoutan too! In general it was really funny! But it was pretty long and fast so i didn’t manage to remember/take note of most of them, i’m sorry!;; Stuffs written here are not in order and is more or less just the gist of it. They didn’t show each of their full interview as one but instead cut their sentences halfway, switch to another person and so on so it was a bit hard to remember their full answer but here are the questions:

Was there something you couldn’t understand from your character?

Morikubo→ “Thank you very very Macho-cho “ LOL Tattsun→ How harsh he was toward ppl around him Shouta→ He sleeps on siting position LOL Maenu→ He puts way too much sugar on his drink (Saw that coming xD)

Which part do you like from your character from the very beginning?

Morikubo→ As a moodmaker, he actually could read the atmosphere well Tattsun→ He’s extremely straightforward and devoted (abt his work/in general?) Never compromise (to aim for better thing) Shouta→He’s like a cute younger brother. His voice is beautiful LOLOL Maenu→ His “strong heart”. He’s not afraid of being hated and says stuffs the way he think it is. 

What was your first impression of your character?

Morikubo→ Bright but hard to figure out (his inner thoughts etc) Tattsun→ Scary Shouta→ Difficult to deal with Maenu→ Full of dignity

When did you feel like you’ve become best friend with your character?

Morikubo→ The moment  “Yoroshiku Macho-cho “ was born  Tattsun→ The moment some parts of Ranmaru he didn’t know started to appear, when he felt grateful for the chance to learn more about Ranmaru Shouta→ The moment he learned that Ai is not a human being Maenu→ The moment he woke up and mistook Jan 23 (Camus’ birthday) as his own birthday

Is there something you still can’t understand about your character?

Morikubo→ Wonder how did Reiji become such a “strong” person Tattsun→ “Aside from his honest and serious personality he also cooks well, is kind to animals, Isn’t his ‘spec’ too high?!” He said he couldn’t forgive Ranmaru for being too ‘high-spec’ xD Shouta→ He still sleeps in sitting position (He talked about how sleeping on bed def works better to recover yourself many times LOL) Maenu→ When he drinks something he put in a lot of sugar

What is something you like from your character now?

Morikubo→ (not sure i’m sorry;;) He pushed himself to limits for members Tattsun→ Everything (Aaaaaa) Shouta→ Became a lot softer. Understands his own position well Maenu→ He doesn’t try to flatter others/sugarcoat things

Is there a (bad) thing you want your character to fix/improve?

Morikubo→ He’s strong but he should stop keeping his feelings bottled up inside and relax more Tattsun→ He should stop wearing different color contact lenses for both eyes LOL Stop depending on color lenses Shouta→ Stay the way he is Maenu→ He’s drinking way too much sugar for his health

Is there anything you hope for your characters?

Morikubo→ There must still be a lot of Reiji’s side we’re not aware of so he should show us more sides/charms of him Tattsun→ Stay just the way he is Shouta→ Ai might be a robot but he should meet a lot people, move forward with his comrade, treasure each of the moment of his life Maenu→ He believes Camus could make the impossible possible so he wants to see him fly in the sky LOL

What should you/character do to achieve higher heights?

Morikubo→ Not only about what about to happen in the future, for now they should look at what is right in front of them. Tattsun→ They should clash more, and at the same time also try to understand each other, tolerate each other more. Shouta→ They should sing more variety of songs Maenu→ They might not in ‘that’ good term with each other, but in return those colliding powers are creating an even stronger power. By that, they boost each other up and that’s the kind of group QN is. They should keep going they way they are.

If you were to describe your character in a word, what would it be?

Morikubo→ Wedge Tattsun→ Flame Shouta→ Love (Ai) Maenu→ Ice  

All: “That’s.. QUARTET NIGHT” And next song started! Outfit change, white pants, white and their respective colors? a bit casual, design is different for each of them! 

10. The dice are cast Powerful singing, as we already knew! The choreography looked like 5th and QN 1st solo con? They moved around the area and stopped when all of the carts became one in the middle of arena seats. I also noticed that tattsun's part of the adlibs on the bridge was a bit different (improvisation with higher notes and i think i heard him doing it in both days)

11. STARLIGHT MEMORY I PERSONALLY LOVE THIS SONG so i was really hyped up for it! They sang while still on the cart and like on QN 1st solo con they used stand-mic for the choreography. It was really heated up, the "Just say Quartet Night!" parts were also sang by the audience and our voices were LOUD! It was fun!

12. Evolution Eve The first acapella sounded as heavenly as what i've heard in previous lives! ;;_;; Also the first acapella which was supposed to be lines without harmony for some reasons was harmonized? pretty sure it was tattsun with higher harmony! The instrumental break dance part we already knew from previous lives were changed, i'm pretty sure it wasn't the same. The previous one was good but this one was even better! I remember morikubo doing a really smooth turn. Proud of their improvements!

13. Double Face *Camus butler mode voice* "Let me show you my everything" *Camus usual mode voice* "You peasant! Fine, i'll do it according to your wish. Witness my 'love'!" Suddenly Maenu appeared with this song! I wasn't expecting this at all but it was a good surprise! Two dancers in white and black (like in QN 1st solo con) were present and maenu was also singing on a stand-mic. It was really similar to QN 1st solo con performance. As usual his voice change was amazing! In first day, it was clear that maybe the fast voice change made him a bit confused sometimes tho xD it was cute.. In 2nd day he did super great tho! One of my favorite thing about watching over QN seiyuus’ growth is watching Maenu getting more confident and glowing each live ♡ 

14. Synchronism Shoutan appeared on front stage with dancers. Apparently his outfit this time had animal ears (i'm not sure is it cat? or not..) fur hoodie and he had his hoodie up! It was extremely cute!! The dance was similar to 6th, but i think there were additional moves? Also if 6th live performance wasn't cute enough this one was even cuter it was illegal //no On 2nd day he also made a lot of different expressions from the one in 1st day during dance break (you probs know which one if you watched 6th live) As expected from shoutan, lot of fanservices were given! In 2nd day last reff "Amaku shite~" part he gave us a thrown kiss too! lol Been thinking about it for a while but it’s actually amazing how stable he was even at extremely low notes.

15. Not bad Tattsun and dancers came from main stage! He danced most of the time and both his dances and singing were amazing and powerful! ;; Also i'm really sure some parts of the dance moves changed entirely, for example the reff's "yoku kike yo, nidoto wa iwanai ze" part? It was such a passionate performance and i have no words except it was SUPER COOL ;;_;; There was also fire burst (?) stage effect and it was cool! He walked from the main stage to front stage! Instead of singing it, the music suddenly stopped and he said the "Ore ni *a bit pause* tsuite koi (follow.. me)" as a serifu

16. NEVER Morikubo appeared with his hat and he threw it away xD I think he improved a lot with his dancing compared to previous performances of this song! The choreography looked similar to the one on 5th live with some additions? I really love the part where monitor behind him turned into a big green　→　rainbow ferris wheel! ;; I personally really love Never's Reiji and the performance was wonderful ;; On the quiet part he usually went with falsetto on "honki to iu na no imi ga tsumatteru" but this time he went full power on that part! He also inserted a bit of adlibs after that and it was pleasant

17. Non-fiction Main stage was engulfed in red light and non-fiction intro was played, people around me went wild xD Tattsun and Maenu appeared sitting on a (what seemed to be) luxurious sofa while singing! It's interesting how the way they sit reflected their character personalities lol (Maenu legs crossed? and tattsun had his right leg up on the sofa) lol Maenu had his camus glasses on. They also danced a lot on instrumental parts and did some poses/combination dance(?) together! I love how they were posing with the sofa (for example if one of them sit the other stand behind the sofa etc) and also posed together (ex maenu put his hand on tattsun's back etc). Tattsun "Aaaa ↑" high notes part (you know which one) sounds amazing on live, it was powerful and on point. They also danced a lot on front stage. All in one it was GREAT and i’m pretty sure a lot of you would like this performance a lot

18. Fiction Started with pretty adlibs. As opposed to Non-fiction, It was an emotional and melancholic performance. Their harmonies were really pretty and their singing were great/emotional too! They weren't doing many moves, instead at some parts it feels much like drama posing (There were still kinda melancholic choreography at instru break). It somehow had really sad vibe ;; Shoutan was a great actor, they posed like stageplay at some parts. For example shoutan (ai) was looking at morikubo (reiji) but shook his head and decided to turn back, or morikubo staring at shoutan from afar, etc. At one part they had their hands up and joint their hands, but shoutan/ai let go of his hand and went away ;; At the end they stared at each other and shoutan/ai walked away from the stage first (from the middle of main stage) and morikubo/reiji followed after. The outro was still playing, with only falling petals (2nd day correction i think it was white feathers?) being lighted-up. I kinda teared up during this performance

19. KIZUNA As usual, the harmonies of this song were really pretty. They also sit on main stage stairs and pose like car-scene on the anime (like they did on QN 1st solo con) with morikubo acting like he's driving the car. The whole thing felt similar to QN 1st solo con, it was amazing nonetheless. Last slow part never fails to make my eyes teary ;; I MEAN who doesn’t.. they also did the last part where they pointed at the characters on screen. 

20. QUARTET★NIGHT I ACTUALLY WASN'T EXPECTING THIS TO COME HERE LOL but i love this song with passion bc it's the start of QN so i was really hyped for it! The choreo was also similar to QN 1st solo con. I personally think their 3rd live (aka 1st appearance as QN ever) of this song was unrivaled, but this performance was probably even better than that! It was easy to see how much they improved and i was extremely happy. Their vocals gave me chills and it also reminded me of when i first came to like QN, it was amazing.

Morikubo/Reiji told us it's his DJ time (wasn't really DJ-ing like prev live tho) and introduced dancers as the rest of them sit on the main stage stairs. They took turn to introduce the dancers. Reiji→Ranmaru→Ai→Camus

21. FLY TO THE FUTURE I knew it LOL I guessed this song would be the last song after encore and i was right! When i first heard this song i was amazed at how QN managed to even surpass their previous harmonization with this song. The live version was amazing, their harmonies were heavenly. It was perfectly done, i can't help but crying halfway... They also danced quite a lot on this song. There was LONG (like 10 secs?) pause before the serifu "Arigato, soshite kore kara mo" (last reff after "nakeru hodo waite~").  Basically they sang That part was really emotional. It's also fun to do "Fly to the future~" call with other audience. It was easily one of my favorite QN performances of all time.

Encore “QUARTET NIGHT!!” calls started. I think i LOVE the Kobe World Hall they're using this time. It's not as small as previous QN solo con (to the point that the "Quartet Night" call wasn't really that loud bc there weren't that many people to begin with) but it's also not too big to manage a perfectly synced encore call. It's probs one of the most synced encore i've heard in my life (in BOTH days). Actually, i was really moved by how amazing the audiences were this time around. Super interactive and cooperative. The acoustic of the hall was amazing, both voices and instru were easy to listen to and sound crystal-clear. It’s easily one of my favorite concert hall ever.

22. Force Live They danced the choreography from the MV (except maybe the kick thing at the beginning lol) This song sounded great without autotune btw LOL i have to say QN sounds great on their own so they sound a lot better without autotune live. There isn't much to say except both of their dancing and singing were awesome! Morikubo also did front kick on 2nd verse if i remember it right! It was really cool watching the MV on the screen behind while looking at their performance/dance. You could see how much effort they spent to perfect their performances.

I’m sure all of you managed to feel the characters through our performances, so i’m not going to talk a lot this time. It’s been a year and half since the first solo live. At that time, i talked about how i was the only one without any singing career among us and how i felt about it. I felt like i had nothing at the beginning. Of course, i still feel it now even if it’s just a bit. But now that i look back at it, maybe i was able to bring something new to the group precisely because i had nothing. And i was able to do it thanks to the other members, all of your support and the utapri staffs. Thank you very much. As for me, i’ll keep on chasing after Camus’ back. Shoutan: “I’m the C.V of Mikaze Ai, Aoi Shouta. Whenever this time (last MC) comes I somehow could never put my thoughts together well.. This time, we got to sing a lot of new songs. Among them are the newest Fiction and Non-Fiction. The recording was a bit painful and i got to feel a lot of different feelings. Up till now I always felt like i just couldn’t catch up to Ai and it gave me chance to think a lot about myself.  Their time (chars), and of course our time will never stop moving forward and will pass. I hope Quartet night could be the group to keep on challenging themselves. I really love all of the members/my comrades. Being able to stand on this stage always makes me rethink about a lot of things. With these feelings, I want to be able to find more “possibilities” and take it to the future. I’m really grateful to be able to stand here. Please keep on supporting utapri!”

Tattsun: “I’m the one standing closest to Kurosaki Ranmaru, Suzuki Tatsuhisa. I had a lot of things i wanted to say. During the rehearsal, when i was practicing with the members of QUARTET NIGHT, i felt something. At that time what crossed my mind was ‘Ah, today i feel “scared”. My heart was racing, and it reminded me of the first time i became Ranmaru. ((Stuffs i couldn’t remember after adjalksjf i’m really sorry;; I think he said about how he was not sure if it’s alright for him to stand as Ranmaru onstage and also made a joke about it but i just can’t remember what was it ;;)) But the ‘idol’ Ranmaru is, without me even realizing it, has already moved so much away in front of me. The Ranmaru inside me keeps on telling me “I should do it like this” and thanks to that i caused a lot of troubles (bc he keeps on being idealistic), practice a lot. I would imagine how all of you would react and feel, and to be honest right now I’m extremely anxious. When i stand as QUARTET NIGHT, i could hear all of your supports directly, and seeing your happy expressions i’m just glad i could be here. Everytime, i’d think about how i just purely love all about this series. I love all of my comrades (starish+heavens too?), there’s no one i dislike, I respect all of them from the bottom of my heart. I love each of them. And so that those words won’t turn into lies, I hope that all of the people watching this, be it here or on live-viewing could feel it through my performances today. That’s the only thing i have on my head right now. I’m really happy i could stand as Kurosaki Ranmaru. Day 2 Morikubo: “And n-now, for the e-end *stumbled with his words many times*  let each of us say our last messages! (him stumbling) It’s my body showing you all my feelings or not wanting it to end!” xD Shoutan: “I can feel it!” Morikubo: “Let us begin with Maeno!” Maenu: “*in camus voice* I refuse!” (audience screams) Shoutan: “So he feels sad!” xD Morikubo: “That’s a convenient word!” Maenu: “*in camus voice* Well, sure i’ll do it. Wait a bit" "closes his eyes for a while and opens it* Maenu: *back to normal “ I’m the one trusted to voice Camus, Maeno Tomoaki. Since October started and we started our rehearsal, almost every night i saw a dream of yesterday and today concerts. Expectations, anxiety, pressure, i’m sure i saw those dreams due to a lot of feelings. And now, to see all of you here, people on the live viewing, spending time together, it all feels like a dream. At that time we talked about how there’s still today. There was still a future called “tomorrow” for us. I’m standing here today with the hope of creating beautiful memories together with all of you here, people on live-viewing and with all of the staffs. With starish opening the path, the four of us then joined in the middle of the story. To be honest, as a member of QUARTET NIGHT, i’d be lying if i say i didn’t feel inferior to others. But the fact that i could stand here right now and be with all of the people who love utapri, like starish and heavens, makes me feel that i’m actually spending the time together with everyone. To stand as a proud member of QUARTET NIGHT, to be someone who supports the utapri series which i really love from the bottom of my heart, that’s what i want Ai to become. Tattsun : “I play the role of Kurosaki Ranmaru, Suzuki Tatsuhisa. I keep on thinking of what to say. This time, i felt anxious too. Yesterday Showtaro-san said a really good thing. The four of us are standing behind the characters, and the one standing besides them is all of you. I thought it was a really good words. I’m always chasing after him. He runs very fast, you know (audience laughs). He keeps on doing his best and moving forward. He’ll say “I want to do something like this!” “I want to do this kind of performance!” “I’m still nowhere my limit!” and will run even faster. I can’t help but think that “He’s too fast”, and everytime i have the chance to stand on this stage I always feel like it’s way too much for me. For me, objectively speaking as part of the audience, Utapri’s live is so fun. I always get overexcited like an idiot on the backstage. Humming the melodies of the songs. But i wonder if it’s okay for someone like that to stand here. It’s not like that i have something beautiful to show to all of you. But even so, i decided to at least do the very best i could. So that, i can proudly tell him that I’ve done everything i could. So that i could tell him I managed to let out everything he has to show. I’m standing here now so that i could say all of those words. I sincerely hope my thoughts could reach you even if it’s just a bit. The only thing i could do is to give him a voice and to push him forward. With my singing, i can move forward together with him. But the one who could take him further ahead, is all of you. Morikubo: “Did you have fun? And live viewing?” Morikubo: “Just like the other three, i have many things i want to say. I came up with the words after listening to Tatsu’s “I’m the one standing closest to Ranmaru” yesterday. But it feels a bit off if i say ‘beside’ them, because each of us are standing behind quartet night. The one should be beside them is all of you.  Please take them to the future, and so the four of us will also follow, that’s what i said yesterday. And such feeling is getting stronger today. Just as what maeno said, we talked about how we should stand on the stage today. A keyword, our share motive. Up till now, it naturally came to us. For example on the previous live it naturally came to us on our LINE group chat. We then just naturally agreed on it. And having a keyword/theme managed to bring us together as a group. “If the four of us are together we feel at ease” we talked earlier was also something like that. This time, actually until the day before, we had no such keyword. But that’s actually something to be grateful about. In the past there were a lot of things, a lot of stories and hardships that built up and naturally provided us with a keyword. But this time, when we realized it we have nothing like that. That means we’re just purely advancing towards the live. Rather than something like “Let’s beat something!”,  it was purely “Let’s do the live!” kind of feeling. But in return, then it was hard to come up with a keyword. We were wondering if we should have one. The day before the live, this time too, Tatsuhisa started asking about it. I came up and say something like “Do you have a bit of time? Why don’t we gather and talk about it? It won’t take long” on our group LINE. Because the next day we have to wake up early, Maeno was about to stop us but suddenly he got no signal and it was unsent!” Maenu: “He said something like that on 12 pm when the day was about to change and we were all tired after practice!” Tattsun: “It can’t be helped! It crossed my mind when doing the rehearsal!!” Maenu: “So i was about to send a message about how we should just talk about it the day after, but suddenly i had no signal and it was unsent! Afterwards, the others were ready to do it so i have no choice but to erase that message.” Tattsun: “So that’s why! I thought it was rare for you to say nothing” Maenu: “And so in the end.. *gets it back to Morikubo*” Morikubo: “We ended up talking about a lot of things. Looking back at stuffs we’ve done in the past, and a lot more. And so a keyword was born. I won’t say it here. It’s the best to feel it through our performance. But there was talk about DVD just now, so maybe~ they will have a commentary video or something right? I’m not sure, i haven’t heard anything about it! But we stood onstage with that keyword on mind. I’ll be happy if each of you could feel it through our performances. And if someday the chance comes, we’ll talk about it there and not right now. This time we’ve done everything, the best of the best we could’ve done. We’re doing our best to chase after QUARTET NIGHT. If they move forward, we’ll do so too. We believe that all of you will take them even further. But Maeno, Aoi, Suzuki and Morikubo who are standing here right now, had done everything we could possible do. But then no one continued the convo bc they don’t want it to end and Morikubo was like ??!? Morikubo: “I understand that feeling! But! I’m not going to take up that offer again! I’ve became an adult” (He meant the scene on 1st live when they talked about not wanting it to end and he lay his body on the floor and sulked xD) And they finally got it into next song

23. GOD'S S.T.A.R The serifu at the beginning completely changed! *u* This song was so fun to do!!! The call and response was extremely fun and the hall was fully heated up by this song. It's probs hard to get the hype of this song if you haven't experienced this song live and only see this song on videos. BUT THIS IS the song that got the audience fired up/hyped more than any other song. The choreography was similar to QN 1st live and 6th live. I remember Maenu went down on his knees at some point at the reff and people around me went crazy over it!

Double encore I had feeling there would be double encore considering the amount of song they did plus they weren't changing into encore T-shirt on 1st encore. This time they had live t-shirt, Maenu wore camus prince parka on top of it. Day 1 Morikubo:  “This is the first time we had double encore right? *audience cheers*  Let’s go to the last song, the one that will unite all of us together. Let us begin!” *silent of other members xD* Morikubo: “Mmm?! We’re not starting?! You three had that kind of faces (of not wanting to start next song)” Tattsun: “If it’s possible i just want to get closer to everyone/audience”| Morikubo: “And now you’re saying something like that again~ Let’s do it shall we?” Day2 Morikubo: “Thank you for the double encore! I was worried all of you would just return home after that..” Morikubo: “It seems like we’re allowed to sing one more song!” Shoutan: “Yaay!” Tattsun: “There’s still that one song we haven’t sung, isn’t it?” Morikubo: “Let us sing that song! But please remember that when it comes to our feelings, we’re actually super ready to do another day or two!” Tattsun: “If it 's possible, to be honest i really want to do it” Morikubo: “We keep on talking about stuffs like that! But those feelings, please use that feelings to create a path to future!” And they started with the next song ;;

24. You're my life It seems like we need this song to end every QN solo con and i’m totally not complaining! They went around the hall with carts and the whole performance was similar with QN 1st live, except they were a lot cheerier and weren't crying that much?? (edit on 2nd day they did look teary) Since they were circling around, i also got the chance to see all of them up-close! ;; We were also singing lalalala part like in QN 1st solo con! I really love their smile at this song ;; they look like they were having tons of fun Audience also sang last "Kimi no moto ni todoke~" together and it was really touching. 2nd day "Kimi no moto ni todoke~~~~~~" was really long. On 2nd day i also remember the moment carts pass each other they did hi-touch with each other! tattsun and shoutan also had a hug? at one part

When they were doing the farewell greeting they went around like how it usually goes, fly to the future instrumental was playing on the background and the audience sang the "Fly to the future" part together ;; it was really touching!! At first day they weren't crying but i saw shoutan and maenu having teary eyes. 

Day 2 Shoutan was crying a bit, at one point he was crouching down and hid his face. On 2nd day audience was singing along to fly to the future too and they took off their in-ear monitor to listen to our voices and they looked really touched by it ;; They hugged each other starting from tattsun and maenu and so on. I remember tattsun and shoutan hug was a bit longer bc shoutan got so emotional and tattsun comforted him and patted his head ;; Shoutan was tearing up but at last moment before stage closes he smiled and it was memorable. When the stage was closing shoutan dragged morikubo close to him and shoutan+morikubo+tattsun peek through the remaining open gap and at last seconds Maenu also went to the middle except i could only see his rings in dark xD Also, can you believe that all of us the audience keep on singing along to the instrumental ver of QN songs (god’s star) EVEN AFTER the live ended? That’s just how cooperative and interactive the audiences were for both days and It was a BLAST. I felt so glad to be able to take part on it. The audience was extremely passionate and i’m sure you’d be able to feel it too even through BD/DVD vids. 

This felt awfully short compared to previous live maybe because the amount of the song! instead we got a lot of MCs tho. Utapri, thank you so much for getting all of these awesome people together. I can’t understand tbh, how did producer Agematsu gather four people whose voices blend like heaven even tho they have such a different voice characters...? Plus they also harmonize like heaven and perform really well.. I’m just so grateful I discovered such an amazing group.

AOI: You’re right. I know that but… It’s just, I can’t seem to…

AOI: But, you’re good at using the net in your daily life, aren’t you?

AOI: I’m so jealous.

AOI: I mean, even when I tweet normal stuff, I worry about whether I made a typo or any mistake.

AOI: Or stuff like, “is this going to be misunderstood?”

AOI: I get nervous pressing the “tweet” button every time.

ARATA: Even when just saying “Good morning?”

AOI: Even so.

ARATA: Isn’t that tiring?

AOI: I won’t call it tiring but, I’m aware that it is an irrational fear.

AOI: I want to try doing it like you, you know? With a carefree and sort of just doing it when you feel like it attitude…

ARATA: That’s how light my tweets feel…?

AOI: (chuckles) Ah, of course, not the content itself. It’s more of how you feel when you send one out.

AOI: In my case, I keep getting nervous even just thinking about what to write.

AOI: I guess I… I keep thinking about whether the people who read it will think it’s interesting… or something…?

ARATA: Aoi-kun, I think that you’re overthinking it a bit too much.

CHIHIRO: Even though I see you often on TV, on the net, or on articles.

Sunny said that she was worse at gaming than she worried about Said that she should go home and practice, but she won’t improve even if she did practice Taeyeon said that means she and the game just doesn’t match.   Taeyeon saw Sunny’s design and shouted “pretty!” a few times, and said she should copy Sunny’s design Sunny kept designing and Taeyeon said that she doesn’t have the time to design it so much as they only have 2 minutes left.  Taeyeon said that their personalities show each of their designs.  Sunny saw that Taeyeon signed in purple and said ‘as expected'. Taeyeon took a keychain and said that its pretty, and Sunny told her not to waste time appreciating it but sign instead But when Sunny saw the keychain she said its pretty too. Taeyeon liked the smell of shirt(?) and kept smelling it And asked don’t others have moments like these? And Sunny said no hahaha. The staff gave them presents though they didn’t eat chicken (win) since its the first broadcast Sunny gave the gift to Taeyeon since she did well Taeyeon said she’ll open it at home. Taeyeon said that though today was quite a pity, they’d practice more at home so that they can showcase more exciting stuff for the fans Sunny said that 2nd place is already very good. They’re wondering about what to say at the end, and Taeyeon said its sleeping time now And said that “Even though its not time to sleep yet, go to sleep! Since there’s tomorrow too!” And made their ending comment ‘sleep well~'.  Taeyeon was imitating a flight stewardess announcement since Sunny was following her on the plane And they laughed when the translator even translated that, and Sunny apologised that she has to translate their jokes.

Forgotten Vows Friday: Favorite Moments, Part IV

It's my BIRTHDAY! :D And much like the 13th was the perfect day to talk about the darkest moments I love in this series, I think today is the perfect day to talk about the brightest moments -- aka, my absolute favorite favorites. I don't think any of you are going to be surprised by this list:

1. Forgetting You, Chapter 9: Splatter Gets What He's Owed -- Victor punching Jack Splatter and rescuing Alice from the burning Mangled Mermaid -- Okay, first of all, I like this chapter in general because it was one of the first I did after getting some solid writing tips from reading the first book of the Riverworld series (namely, "I do not want to write like this"), and I feel it represents a big jump in quality in my storytelling. And this particular moment -- oh, it was satisfying to finally give Splatter exactly what he deserved for hitting Alice! (Which is, uh, kind of why I kept doing it. XD) Not to mention I threw myself into properly describing the burning Mermaid and Victor's rescue of Alice, and I feel it turned out beautifully. (I still like "If the exterior of the Mangled Mermaid was a glimpse at Pastor Galswells's favorite vision of Hell, the interior was the full Time-Of-Judgment-Featuring-Dante-And-Virgil experience.") Not to mention I liked letting Victor play the hero for Alice, as she was going to be playing the hero for him for much of the rest of the verse!

2. Forgetting You, Chapter 24: Confrontation At Moorgate Station -- Victor punching Bumby during the brief moment he broke free of his control -- Speaking of satisfying moments where someone gets what they deserve. . .ooh, this felt good to write after Chapter 22! Bumby obviously deserves worse, but that moment where it becomes clear he never truly broke Victor -- well, Alice wasn't the only one bouncing up and down in delight. XD

3. Forgetting You, Chapter 25: Into Londerland -- Alice shoving Bumby in front of the train -- Obviously I have to include what is also one of my favorite moments in Alice: Madness Returns itself. I was so worried that he was going to get away scott-free, and then Alice took matters into her own hands, and it was great. And I think I did a good job in translating the moment into text, particularly Bumby's shock as Alice turns to face him as her Wonderland self. (Which he definitely saw her as, thanks to my Alice having a natural talent for a certain disguise spell. . .) Not to mention the exchange right before she shoves him:

"Could you kill a fly?" echoed in her head, the Dollmaker trying to get in one last shot from beyond the grave.

I can kill a lot more than that, she replied, and used her free hand to give Bumby one good, hard shove.

Eeee~ So good.

4. Remembering You, Chapter 13: Taking Back The Crown -- Victor defeating the Bumby Heart within the Wall, and regaining his memories -- Again, more satisfying moments against Bumby -- or, at least the remnant of him still left in Victor's head. The whole fight against the Wall, with Victor wielding Alice's weapons against the Ruin, was great to write, but the final battle? Victor clawing his way back from the edge of oblivion thanks to remembering Alice's eyes? The memory of getting the fork from Ms. Plum becoming the initial form of the Vorpal Fork? Victor staring the Heart down as it starts panicking? The "MY! NAME! IS! VICTOR!" line right before he stabs it?! *chef's kiss* That was so good, both to write and to read afterward. :D And then afterward, designing the first form of his Otherland -- the sweet little forest where his memories come back? That was a great way to destress after the fight. Just what Victor and I needed.

5. Remembering You, Chapter 14: So Kiss Me – Victor and Alice's first kiss -- It's their first kiss I'm not supposed to pick this? XD More seriously, this was a sweet and wonderful moment to finally write. And it probably helps that I took some inspiration from one of my favorite Disney movies, Enchanted -- you know how Victor picks up Alice and spins her around a bit? I had in mind Giselle getting spun around by Prince Edward when they reunite in Robert's apartment. (Yeah, I know, wrong couple, but I still thought it was a cute moment!) After so much time spent with them either pining but shoving down their feelings, or being utterly oblivious, or being in love but struggling past lingering mental issues. . .damn, it just felt good to have them finally smooch.

6. Fixing You, Chapter 7: Heck Though Ain't It Grand – Alice's reunion with Lizzie in the Land of the Dead -- I know this was one of the two "big moments" everyone wanted to see in the series, and I was more than happy to deliver. Mostly because it was a moment I wanted to see myself. Setting up the surprise of Lizzie being Burtonsville, not in Oxford, was a lot of fun in-universe, and the actual moment when the two sisters saw each other again – even I "awwwed" internally when they flung themselves into each other's arms. :) It was just so heartfelt. . . The follow-up hug between Alice and her parents when they finally reach the Ball & Socket is great too. Just – I know this is the thing Alice has wanted most ever since the series began, and I was thrilled to give it to her. (And this leading to the final defeat of that damned Jabberwock was a great bonus! Call that an "honorable mention" on this list.)

7. Fixing You, Chapter 10: The Grand Wonderland Tour – Victor and Alice's tour of Wonderland – Yes, the entire chapter. This is the other big thing everyone wanted, and, again, more than happy to deliver. This whole chapter is probably my favorite in the whole series, just because I had so much fun coming up with stuff for Victor and Alice to do in all the various domains! It was like a "greatest hits" of every fun "Victor and Alice in Wonderland" scenario I've ever thought of! :D Personal favorites within the chapter itself are the mine cart ride in the Village of the Doomed (it was fun going back to AMA, coming up with a special suit and dress for the mains for the "domain," and it was very interesting to look up stuff on early roller coasters!), Victor and Alice building a sand castle in the Music Fish's "Choral Coral" spot (that's my personal favorite bit in the Deluded Depths when it comes to the scenery, and it brought back fond memories of being on the beach and watching Mom make sand sculptures), the battle against the Army Ants (more fun with AMA stuff, and a good opportunity to show the pair's battle skills – not to mention, I love the way they got the Ants to back off in the end), and Victor and Alice's race through Cardbridge (again, my favorite level in A:MR, and them just getting to play like kids in this beautiful world was -- I swear, I was smiling and squeeing so much writing that bit. . .). But the whole thing was fantastic, and I think well-worth the wait!

8. Fixing You Chapter 16: Round Three: The Conglomeration. . .and Thirteen – Victor redeeming Thirteen, and the full creation of his Otherland afterward -- I like the whole sequence in Silent Burtonsville (Victor going Hysteria to kill the Colossal Nell when she threatens Alice is definitely an “honorable mention” moment), but the final confrontation definitely makes favorite. Victor and Alice finally recognizing just what it is he's struggling with, and Alice convincing Victor that the only one who sees himself as a monster is him, leading to him forgiving himself. . .ooooof. It just hits you right in the feels, doesn't it? The moment of him hugging his corrupted self, whispering that he doesn't hate him? How could you not sniffle, seriously? And then, after Thirteen's redemption back into Desire, the whole bit where Victor starts getting into what he actually wants his Otherland to look like. . .once again, had so much fun doing the descriptions! I was as enthusiastic as Victor about the whole thing! And Victor's joy at seeing the Living Dead Forest come to life outside the window? So much squee, seriously. Love it.

9. Fixing You, Chapter 18: A Day For A Glorious Wedding – Victor and Alice's wedding – Again, this is their wedding, I wasn't supposed to pick it?! XD I'm pretty sure we were all VERY READY for this to finally go down by the time it happened, and I was just thrilled to finally put it to paper. I mean, I'd had Victor's reaction to Alice's dress stored away in a "notes" file for ages, but to actually get them in front of that registrar, do the vows, go back to Houndsditch and have that cake. . .it did my heart good, seriously. Especially that moment when Victor hears Alice say her vows back to him, and all he can think is that he didn't want to cry. . . Even if it wasn't necessarily the most "romantic" way to get married, I still just wanted to sweep them up in a big hug and weep for a while. XD And then the reception afterwards in the Land of the Dead, with Victor and Alice getting a surprise party from their dead loved ones, Victoria finally getting a chance to see the place, June reuniting with her mother and meeting her brother, and the kids giving Victor his pictures back? I don't think I could have ended that story any more perfectly.

10. A Wedding, A Wedding, We're Going To Have A Wedding, Chapter 7: In A World Of Our Own – Victor and Alice's Wonderland reception – Honestly, the whole fic is a win for me (as probably evidenced by the way it kept growing chapters), but the last bit, which was a complete last-minute "oh hey, if I did a Land of the Dead reception for Victor and Alice, I should do a Wonderland one too!" is just – so full of fluff, I swear. I wasn't expecting it to be so squee-inducing and squishy when I first came up with the idea, but. . .Alice's Wonderland and Victor's Otherland merging like they do, with the inhabitants of both their minds teaming up to give them a party? Showing once and for all they've stopped beating themselves up about stuff for the most part? Awwwwww. . .the bit that really gets me, though, is the very last part:

[. . .] Victor turned to offer Alice his arm as the various citizenry hurried off through the combined woods –

Then paused. A playful grin crossed his face. "What?" Alice asked, raising an eyebrow. "What are – Oh!"

Alice automatically grabbed for his neck as he suddenly scooped her up into his arms. "Oh," she repeated, trying to get her bearings. "Er – any particular reason for giving me a lift?"

"Well, you're my new wife," Victor told her, adjusting his grip. He nodded at the join between their two worlds, the Vale of Tears and the Living Dead Forest mingling in perfect harmony. "Aren't I supposed to carry you over the threshold?"

Oh, he was such a sap – and she loved him for it. "You are," she confirmed, snuggling into him. "If you would, Mr. Liddell?"

"My pleasure, Mrs. Van Dort."

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH – no I DON'T know why that affects me so much but it FREAKING DOES. It just – ooof. *flops* Best way to end anything about their wedding, I swear.

Kamigami no Asobi InFinite - Tsukito & Takeru

Yeah I have not completely abandoned this. Anyway for the the Japanese gods it’s a bit harder to write because some of the terms used do not have exact translations in English, but the general gist of the story should be there. At this point the routes are kinda repetitive so apologies beforehand if the writing style seems very err... bored.

For a summary of the common prologue check the summary post for the Greek gods.

*spoilers after the cut*

Chapter 1

Yui decides to work with the Japanese mythology group. The activity they decide on is hanami(flower-viewing) since it was originally a ritual to welcome the gods. Just nice it's spring and the sakura are in full bloom so off they go to scout, together with Usamaro. Yui asks if she can carry Usamaro and Tsukito agrees. Takeru comments that it's rare for Tsukito to allow someone else to carry Usamaro. Tsukito agrees but says that somehow he wants to fulfil Yui's wishes. Before it gets dark they go to the library to research more on the history of hanami. Yui mentions that people normally prepare bento for Hanami but when she mentions going to the store to buy ingredients, Tsukito asks why she would need to do that when the store sells ready made bentos. Yui explains that she wants the people dear to her to eat her handmade bentos and that it will make the hanami more enjoyable.

The day of the hanami, she meets up with the guys in the who are dressed in casual clothes and being all gentlemanly by helping her carry stuff. Tsukito comments on how pretty the location they chose is while Takeru just wants to eat lol. They both agree the bentos are delicious. Tsukito then wonders why the sakura look so much prettier tonight. Like even if they are in full bloom it can't possibly boost their appeal by that much. Yui replies that when humans are enjoying themselves, everything will appear more beautiful. Yui's even prepared carrots for Usamaro to eat. Usamaro enjoys curling up on Yui's lap so much it doesn't even respond when the boys call out its name pfft.

The next day, Takeru gifts Yui with a hand carved wooden rabbit. Apollon finds out about the hanami and suggest everyone goes together but the brothers both reject his idea lol.

Chapter 2

The season is now summer and they decide to hold a Tanabata festival. Yui explains to them about writing wishes and hanging them on bamboo grass. Takeru happens to know where they kind find bamboo grass and leads them there. After Yui says they'll need one big enough for everyone to hang their wishes on, Tsukito ventures off, only to cut his hand on the leaves. Yui gives Tsukito first aid and Takeru thanks her for it before volunteering to be the one gathering the bamboo grass.

After dinner, Yui goes to their dorm to make the ornaments to hang on the bamboo gras. Basically it's cutting coloured paper into different patterns. The two guys chose the same design to try and Yui comments that they really are alike. The day of the tanabata festival, all the gods gather to write their wishes and eat nagashi somen. Overall the event was a success and Yui exchanges the usual comments about how happy she is to have met the guys. At night, Yui looks at her own blank slip of paper and thinks about what wish she wants to write, or rather whether she wants to spend time with Tsukito or Takeru. Thread of fate here.

Chapter 3 (Tsukito)

The next morning, Yui wakes up and is shocked to find that the ground is unusually near and the grass around her looks really big. Tsukito is with her, looking super tall, and calls her Usamaro. Yup, Yui is now stuck in the body of that cute little white rabbit. Yui tries to convey to Tsukito that it's her but fails. Tsukito on the other hand can't figure out why Usamaro won't stop fidgeting and wonders if it's coz it felt better being on Yui's lap lol. He then starts talking about how it's relaxing being next to Yui and how it's thanks to her he's able to graduate.

So Yui hangs out with the Japanese gods while they have breakfast and afterwards Tsukito decides to drop by Yui's room. He ignores Melissa's protests and enters anyway, but Yui's bedroom is empty. Even Melissa's starts wondering where Yui went. Tsukito is about to read Yui's wish when Akira shows up. Akira then goes on to say Yui's body is in his room and points out to Tsukito that the rabbit is Yui. So basically Usamaro has been stuck in Yui's body as well lol. Tsukito goes to Akira's room and Usamaro hugs Tsukito. Akira explains that he saw Yui in the corridor while still wearing her pajamas, brought her back to her room but nobody answered, so brought her to his room instead. Akira then asks if they have any idea how this switched happened. Yui(rabbit) looks to Tsukito, who says he knows, and brings Usamaro and Yui back to Yui's room. Since it was Yui's Tanabata wish that caused the switch, Tsukito writes another one wishing both Yui and Usamaro return to normal and that did the trick.

It's now autumn so momijigari time. Thoth being a hands-off teacher just writes 紅葉狩 on the blackboard and walks off. This time round everyone goes together since graduation is around the corner. The road is a little tricky(of course Balder fell down) so Tsukito decides to hold Yui's hand, saying that this way she won't fall or get separated so it's killing two birds with one stone lol. Yui is all happy so Tsukito wonders why since it's not her first time seeing autumn or walking this path. Of course, it's because it's fun when it's with him. Relationship meter goes up further.

Chapter 4 (Tsukito)

Winter is here and since they've done an activity for each of the other seasons, they decide to go stargazing. Thoth drops by to tell them presentation is next week. While Takeru runs off to find Hades, Yui recalls that Tsukito's birthday is coming and she wants to celebrate. Since it's close to Valentine's Day, she says she'll celebrate both together and give him chocolates. She slips a note into his shoe locker telling him to meet her in the classroom, apologizes for the choco not being store bought, then Tsukito asks if he can request for something else if he thinks her gift isn't enough, that something being her lips. Yui's all ???!! and pushes him away. Turns out they were acting out some novel lol.

Well Tsukito decides to ask Yui out properly and says he wants to give her a present. White Day is supposed to be next month but they don't have that much time so he wants to express his feelings now. Tsukito then transforms and uses his powers to bring Yui into the night sky and asks her if she has any more requests he can grant. Yui tells him she wants to be with him forever, and Tsukito replies that he feels the same. Back in the classroom, Tsukito says he's made up his mind and will be going to Yui's world.

End (Tsukito)

After everyone has made their presentations, Thoth tells them it's time to graduate and to prepare for the ceremony tomorrow. Akira shows up while the trio are hanging out on the roof coz he wants to see his cute brothers. He then thanks Yui for playing a big role in helping them grow. Tsukito agrees, and takes the chance to announce that she's his girlfriend lol. Takeru's like all "Eh does that mean Yui's gonna be my olders sis? o_o" so Tsukito tells him yes, because she's the girl who's going to be his wife. XD He then drags Yui off for a date.

They go to where the sakura trees are and Tsukito tells he loves her(and other lovey dovey stuff) and kisses her. He tells Yui he wants to live together with her from now on, and if she accepts, he wants to receive a kiss from her this time. She does of course. When it's time to graduate, Tsukito tells Yui to go ahead first, because he still has his duties to fulfill, but to trust him and wait.

Epilogue (Tsukito)

Yui is back in her world, and thinking back to the time they were in the night sky together, wondering why Tsukito isn't here yet. Tsukito shows up of course, says his duty now is to make her happy, and he's never leaving her again.

Chapter 3 (Takeru)

Yui recalls the practice of sending the tanabata wishes down the river and decides to ask Thoth for permission. She bumps into Takeru outside her room, who gets a little cross when he learns Yui was planning to go clean up the Tanabata stuff by herself. Yui assures him she'll request for their help when she needs to. She wonders what wish Takeru made and hopes that everyone's wishes come true. Thoth tells Yui to go ahead with the river thing since it has auto-clean anw. Yui then explains the significance of the activity to the brothers, about how it holds the meaning of sending the wishes to the gods. Takeru has complicated feelings about it all being sent to his place since he's god of the sea lol. Tsukito pulled an all-nighter to write his novel soTakeru tells him to go and rest since he and Yui can handle it.

Yui and Takeru lug everything down to the river and along the way Takeru randomly looks at one of the wishes. It's about eating delicious meat, no points for guessing whose it is lol. At the river, Takeru just dumps everything in before noticing one of them had dropped at the riverbank. Both Takeru and Yui go to pick it up and end up falling into the river. They accidentally kiss and Takeru turns red as a tomato. 

They return to the school soaking wet and bump into Thoth, who has them both write a composition as punishment, although the topics he gives have nth to do with reflecting on their actions. Takeru ends up writing a waka(Japanese poetry) instead. He refuses to let Yui read it though so she tries to get it and ends up sort of accidentally hugging him. Yui apologizes and Takeru is about to say something but is disrupted by Apollon and Hades. The Greek gods realized they are getting in the way so excuse themselves lol. After submitting the compositions to Thoth, Takeru finally tells Yui what he wanted to say and asks her out. Apparently he wants to take responsibility for the kiss at the river lmao.

Chapter 4 (Takeru)

Zeus changes the season to spring and the gods continue working on their assignments. At the roof, Takeru leans in for a kiss but Yui pulls back because they aren't really dating, it's just takeru taking responsibility. At night, Takeru brings Yui to the seaside. Yui almost falls over again but Takeru catches her. Takeru then asks her what if he were to bring her underwater. Yui agrees since she has nothing to fear next to the god of the sea. Thanks to his powers she's able to breathe underwater. Takeru tells her he wanted to show her this view before they went their separate ways.

Back on shore, Takeru tells her they don't have to pretend to date anymore since he doesn't want to hold her back and Tsukito's the one she likes anyway. Yui asks Takeru why he brought her to the sea in that case, to which Takeru replies it's because she's the one he likes. Now that he's made his feelings clear, Yui tells him that the one she likes is him. With the misunderstanding cleared, Takeru tells Yui he'll make her happy.

End (Takeru)

They can now spend their remaining days in the hakoniwa as a proper couple. Yui wants to celebrate Takeru's birthday and when Apollon overhears this, he  enthusiastically agrees and runs off to prep for the human style birthday party despite Takeru's protests. Apollon and Hades return along with Akira and Apollon starts setting up the cake. There's only one candle since Apollon says that's Takeru's age as a human lol. Dionysus tells Takeru how the practice of blowing out the candle and making a wish has the meaning of sending the wish to the Greek goddess of the Moon, but not like it matters since Takeru already has a cute goddess hurhur *glances at Yui*

Everyone's presentation goes well and Thoth announces they are all able to graduate and the ceremony will be tomorrow. They have the rest of the day off so Yui and Takeru go to the seaside again. Takeru comments on how the sea here is created by Zeus and even though it's well made, doesn't compare with the real thing. He would have liked to see it together with her. They kiss, and Takeru tells her he wants to go where she is.

Epilogue (Takeru)

They have Zeus send them both back to Japan together and before they leave, Akira tells Yui to look after his little brother. So Takeru and Yui live together in her world, practicing kendo together and making plans for dates. Takeru promises Yui he's going to devote everything he has to making her happy.

Japanese gods done finally, one more to go. It’s nice to see the brothers getting along better with Akira in this game.

aaaaand the scene ends. i am so scared right now. i kinda just want to stop watching the episode right here. it's a good stopping point!! but *sigh* i must continue...

and here's a scene with haru, mako, and the others. i am sitting here trying to predict what bad thing is about to happen, but i can't think of anything.

haru smiles a bit!! i remember way back when haru used to be that character who never smiles. (mostly back in season 1) so i like that he is smiling more these days.

soooo is rin the bad thing i've been dreading?? XD uhhh well, i don't know what bad thing he would do though. but he will certainly make things interesting. can't wait for next week!!!

ummmm well i just feel kinda tired after that episode. that was a lot to write and a lot to think about!!!! it's just hard to explain how much this show emotionally destroys me. they really did it this time. ouch!!! >__<U yes, i am saying "ouch" even though i'm happy!!! it's just so overwhelming and heartwarming!! <3333 i expected haru and ikuya to get over their conflict in this episode, but i didn't expect ikuya and hiyori to get over THEIR conflict within this same episode! i thought it would be like one or two episodes after this. but no, all the happiness and wonderfulness was stuffed into this one episode. =) i love these writers. they really know what they're doing. since it's the third season of free!, they have become used to the consistent writing style of free!, and by that, i mean that the writers show that swimming means so much more to these characters than just the physical act of moving through the water. it's a symbol of friendship. we (the viewers) know this because we're used to watching free!, and the writers are used to writing free! and they are used to writing about how swimming is a symbol of friendship. haru really does have superpowers!!! he makes everyone have epiphanies just by swimming next to him!! i am so proud of my lovely angel, haru!!!! but... does he have room to "improve?" i wonder what that meant.? ..idk.

i said in one of my previous liveblogs that i kinda wanted to ship hiyori and ikuya, but something was off about their relationship. i had been hoping that they would be able to solve that problem, and then i would be able to ship them. well, it happened. their relationship is no longer "off." now, they're on the same page. they're on the same wavelength. they're literally in the same swimming lane. ^__^ the point is, i saw how closely they connected in this episode, and it was like the connection they had a long time ago. it was so great to see this connection, and now... i ship them!!!!! =D seriously, i do. they are super, super cute. now i want to see fanart, fanfics, comics, you know. i loved the part when ikuya asked for hiyori to be included in the relay, right at the exact moment that hiyori was thinking that ikuya had completely chosen haru over him. hiyori was really, really touched by the fact that ikuya specifically cared about HIM!!! ^__^ but the part that absolutely killed me was their romantic conversation overlooking the pool. they were talking about how much each other's smiles meant to them ever since that long time ago... and clearly, those smiles still have the same importance today... it was just... i don't know what to say. ;___; i don't know what to say about that part except that it was one of the highlights of this entire series (all three seasons) for me.

the next four episodes are going to be a bit strange since it seems like this episode was a good stopping point that wrapped up some major plotlines. it's exciting to see what'll happen in the next four episodes. i don't really know. except... there's sousuke and his injury, so that plotline hasn't ended. and rin's going to do... something. and the iwatobi people are going to do their thing. and of course, haru is going to keep swimming, makoto will keep being perfect, asahi will keep being funny, and hiyori and ikuya will keep being in love. it's going to be a fun rest of the season! =)
