Kamigami no Asobi InFinite - Tsukito & Takeru

Yeah I have not completely abandoned this. Anyway for the the Japanese gods it’s a bit harder to write because some of the terms used do not have exact translations in English, but the general gist of the story should be there. At this point the routes are kinda repetitive so apologies beforehand if the writing style seems very err... bored.

For a summary of the common prologue check the summary post for the Greek gods.

Chapter 1

Yui decides to work with the Japanese mythology group. The activity they decide on is hanami(flower-viewing) since it was originally a ritual to welcome the gods. Just nice it's spring and the sakura are in full bloom so off they go to scout, together with Usamaro. Yui asks if she can carry Usamaro and Tsukito agrees. Takeru comments that it's rare for Tsukito to allow someone else to carry Usamaro. Tsukito agrees but says that somehow he wants to fulfil Yui's wishes. Before it gets dark they go to the library to research more on the history of hanami. Yui mentions that people normally prepare bento for Hanami but when she mentions going to the store to buy ingredients, Tsukito asks why she would need to do that when the store sells ready made bentos. Yui explains that she wants the people dear to her to eat her handmade bentos and that it will make the hanami more enjoyable.

The day of the hanami, she meets up with the guys in the who are dressed in casual clothes and being all gentlemanly by helping her carry stuff. Tsukito comments on how pretty the location they chose is while Takeru just wants to eat lol. They both agree the bentos are delicious. Tsukito then wonders why the sakura look so much prettier tonight. Like even if they are in full bloom it can't possibly boost their appeal by that much. Yui replies that when humans are enjoying themselves, everything will appear more beautiful. Yui's even prepared carrots for Usamaro to eat. Usamaro enjoys curling up on Yui's lap so much it doesn't even respond when the boys call out its name pfft.

The next day, Takeru gifts Yui with a hand carved wooden rabbit. Apollon finds out about the hanami and suggest everyone goes together but the brothers both reject his idea lol.

Chapter 2

The season is now summer and they decide to hold a Tanabata festival. Yui explains to them about writing wishes and hanging them on bamboo grass. Takeru happens to know where they kind find bamboo grass and leads them there. After Yui says they'll need one big enough for everyone to hang their wishes on, Tsukito ventures off, only to cut his hand on the leaves. Yui gives Tsukito first aid and Takeru thanks her for it before volunteering to be the one gathering the bamboo grass.

After dinner, Yui goes to their dorm to make the ornaments to hang on the bamboo gras. Basically it's cutting coloured paper into different patterns. The two guys chose the same design to try and Yui comments that they really are alike. The day of the tanabata festival, all the gods gather to write their wishes and eat nagashi somen. Overall the event was a success and Yui exchanges the usual comments about how happy she is to have met the guys. At night, Yui looks at her own blank slip of paper and thinks about what wish she wants to write, or rather whether she wants to spend time with Tsukito or Takeru. Thread of fate here.

Chapter 3 (Tsukito)

The next morning, Yui wakes up and is shocked to find that the ground is unusually near and the grass around her looks really big. Tsukito is with her, looking super tall, and calls her Usamaro. Yup, Yui is now stuck in the body of that cute little white rabbit. Yui tries to convey to Tsukito that it's her but fails. Tsukito on the other hand can't figure out why Usamaro won't stop fidgeting and wonders if it's coz it felt better being on Yui's lap lol. He then starts talking about how it's relaxing being next to Yui and how it's thanks to her he's able to graduate.

So Yui hangs out with the Japanese gods while they have breakfast and afterwards Tsukito decides to drop by Yui's room. He ignores Melissa's protests and enters anyway, but Yui's bedroom is empty. Even Melissa's starts wondering where Yui went. Tsukito is about to read Yui's wish when Akira shows up. Akira then goes on to say Yui's body is in his room and points out to Tsukito that the rabbit is Yui. So basically Usamaro has been stuck in Yui's body as well lol. Tsukito goes to Akira's room and Usamaro hugs Tsukito. Akira explains that he saw Yui in the corridor while still wearing her pajamas, brought her back to her room but nobody answered, so brought her to his room instead. Akira then asks if they have any idea how this switched happened. Yui(rabbit) looks to Tsukito, who says he knows, and brings Usamaro and Yui back to Yui's room. Since it was Yui's Tanabata wish that caused the switch, Tsukito writes another one wishing both Yui and Usamaro return to normal and that did the trick.

It's now autumn so momijigari time. Thoth being a hands-off teacher just writes 紅葉狩 on the blackboard and walks off. This time round everyone goes together since graduation is around the corner. The road is a little tricky(of course Balder fell down) so Tsukito decides to hold Yui's hand, saying that this way she won't fall or get separated so it's killing two birds with one stone lol. Yui is all happy so Tsukito wonders why since it's not her first time seeing autumn or walking this path. Of course, it's because it's fun when it's with him. Relationship meter goes up further.

Chapter 4 (Tsukito)

Winter is here and since they've done an activity for each of the other seasons, they decide to go stargazing. Thoth drops by to tell them presentation is next week. While Takeru runs off to find Hades, Yui recalls that Tsukito's birthday is coming and she wants to celebrate. Since it's close to Valentine's Day, she says she'll celebrate both together and give him chocolates. She slips a note into his shoe locker telling him to meet her in the classroom, apologizes for the choco not being store bought, then Tsukito asks if he can request for something else if he thinks her gift isn't enough, that something being her lips. Yui's all ???!! and pushes him away. Turns out they were acting out some novel lol.

Well Tsukito decides to ask Yui out properly and says he wants to give her a present. White Day is supposed to be next month but they don't have that much time so he wants to express his feelings now. Tsukito then transforms and uses his powers to bring Yui into the night sky and asks her if she has any more requests he can grant. Yui tells him she wants to be with him forever, and Tsukito replies that he feels the same. Back in the classroom, Tsukito says he's made up his mind and will be going to Yui's world.

End (Tsukito)

After everyone has made their presentations, Thoth tells them it's time to graduate and to prepare for the ceremony tomorrow. Akira shows up while the trio are hanging out on the roof coz he wants to see his cute brothers. He then thanks Yui for playing a big role in helping them grow. Tsukito agrees, and takes the chance to announce that she's his girlfriend lol. Takeru's like all "Eh does that mean Yui's gonna be my olders sis? o_o" so Tsukito tells him yes, because she's the girl who's going to be his wife. XD He then drags Yui off for a date.

They go to where the sakura trees are and Tsukito tells he loves her(and other lovey dovey stuff) and kisses her. He tells Yui he wants to live together with her from now on, and if she accepts, he wants to receive a kiss from her this time. She does of course. When it's time to graduate, Tsukito tells Yui to go ahead first, because he still has his duties to fulfill, but to trust him and wait.

Epilogue (Tsukito)

Yui is back in her world, and thinking back to the time they were in the night sky together, wondering why Tsukito isn't here yet. Tsukito shows up of course, says his duty now is to make her happy, and he's never leaving her again.

Chapter 3 (Takeru)

Yui recalls the practice of sending the tanabata wishes down the river and decides to ask Thoth for permission. She bumps into Takeru outside her room, who gets a little cross when he learns Yui was planning to go clean up the Tanabata stuff by herself. Yui assures him she'll request for their help when she needs to. She wonders what wish Takeru made and hopes that everyone's wishes come true. Thoth tells Yui to go ahead with the river thing since it has auto-clean anw. Yui then explains the significance of the activity to the brothers, about how it holds the meaning of sending the wishes to the gods. Takeru has complicated feelings about it all being sent to his place since he's god of the sea lol. Tsukito pulled an all-nighter to write his novel soTakeru tells him to go and rest since he and Yui can handle it.

Yui and Takeru lug everything down to the river and along the way Takeru randomly looks at one of the wishes. It's about eating delicious meat, no points for guessing whose it is lol. At the river, Takeru just dumps everything in before noticing one of them had dropped at the riverbank. Both Takeru and Yui go to pick it up and end up falling into the river. They accidentally kiss and Takeru turns red as a tomato. 

They return to the school soaking wet and bump into Thoth, who has them both write a composition as punishment, although the topics he gives have nth to do with reflecting on their actions. Takeru ends up writing a waka(Japanese poetry) instead. He refuses to let Yui read it though so she tries to get it and ends up sort of accidentally hugging him. Yui apologizes and Takeru is about to say something but is disrupted by Apollon and Hades. The Greek gods realized they are getting in the way so excuse themselves lol. After submitting the compositions to Thoth, Takeru finally tells Yui what he wanted to say and asks her out. Apparently he wants to take responsibility for the kiss at the river lmao.

Chapter 4 (Takeru)

Zeus changes the season to spring and the gods continue working on their assignments. At the roof, Takeru leans in for a kiss but Yui pulls back because they aren't really dating, it's just takeru taking responsibility. At night, Takeru brings Yui to the seaside. Yui almost falls over again but Takeru catches her. Takeru then asks her what if he were to bring her underwater. Yui agrees since she has nothing to fear next to the god of the sea. Thanks to his powers she's able to breathe underwater. Takeru tells her he wanted to show her this view before they went their separate ways.

Back on shore, Takeru tells her they don't have to pretend to date anymore since he doesn't want to hold her back and Tsukito's the one she likes anyway. Yui asks Takeru why he brought her to the sea in that case, to which Takeru replies it's because she's the one he likes. Now that he's made his feelings clear, Yui tells him that the one she likes is him. With the misunderstanding cleared, Takeru tells Yui he'll make her happy.

End (Takeru)

They can now spend their remaining days in the hakoniwa as a proper couple. Yui wants to celebrate Takeru's birthday and when Apollon overhears this, he  enthusiastically agrees and runs off to prep for the human style birthday party despite Takeru's protests. Apollon and Hades return along with Akira and Apollon starts setting up the cake. There's only one candle since Apollon says that's Takeru's age as a human lol. Dionysus tells Takeru how the practice of blowing out the candle and making a wish has the meaning of sending the wish to the Greek goddess of the Moon, but not like it matters since Takeru already has a cute goddess hurhur *glances at Yui*

Everyone's presentation goes well and Thoth announces they are all able to graduate and the ceremony will be tomorrow. They have the rest of the day off so Yui and Takeru go to the seaside again. Takeru comments on how the sea here is created by Zeus and even though it's well made, doesn't compare with the real thing. He would have liked to see it together with her. They kiss, and Takeru tells her he wants to go where she is.

Epilogue (Takeru)

They have Zeus send them both back to Japan together and before they leave, Akira tells Yui to look after his little brother. So Takeru and Yui live together in her world, practicing kendo together and making plans for dates. Takeru promises Yui he's going to devote everything he has to making her happy.

Japanese gods done finally, one more to go. It’s nice to see the brothers getting along better with Akira in this game.

Kamigami no Asobi Stage: Balder End

So I went to see the kamiaso play last night. They used a combination of the fate endings but I’ll put that at the bottom of the cut because spoilers. You can read about Balder’s route here as the play pretty much covers it.

So funny things first~

The stage had it’s regular level, some stairs to a middle part and more stairs to a top part that had a cut out to replicate the inside of the school building. There was an archway that could be used as the actors could walk behind the cut out. The archway itself could be moved further apart and was for outdoor scenes

Thoth-sama gets to do one kabedon near the beginning and had to hold onto the cutout because it SHOOK. If he hadn’t I honestly think part of the cut out would have falled lol

Balder was his usual meat loving self

Thor was obsessed with cheese???? They were talking about a BBQ and he wanted cheese jerky

Yui tries to get everyone to join a club and afterwards they decide to have a battle. Loki, Thor and extra make one team and Balder makes a team with two extras. They pretend to have a running race before Balder and Loki pick up one card each.  Balder’s was ‘umbrella’. Loki’s was ‘business cards’ Cue them going into the front row and LOOKING FOR THESE ITEMS.  They then came back on stage and explained the item. Balder perfectly explained an umbrella and that we didn’t need it today because it was so hot. Loki didn’t seem to understand business cards so he gave some half assed explanation. We then had to clap for the winner - Balder won.

And now let me tell you the story of how I died.

So even if you’ve only seen the anime I’m sure you remember there's a point where they're having an Xmas market. So in the play Loki tries to get Thor to sell the presents and he sucks. He's just stating facts, voice is flat. Loki tells him to sound happy and he just gets a little louder. So Loki's like let me and he picks up two presents And then he spots me Cos I'm centre front row (and not Japanese so of course I stick out hahaha) And he comes over and crouches down in front of me and asks me which I want so I point to the smaller one and he indicates the ribbon tab and tells me what to do in Japanese. Now my listening Japanese is ok in that I can generally get the gist of things but evidently I failed this time cos I pull the rubbon up a couple times and nothing happens And I think haha it's part of the prank - it’s not going to open. Nope I just misunderstood so he (and the girls nearby lol) laugh a little and he's like "you have to pull it towards you" So I do and bam Sweets all over me And each one has a message from the cast! (the girl next to me picked up the Thor one and a girl two seats down got the Thoth one).

I was all shakey and my heart was pounding the rest of the play lol

So Balder’s ending was similar to the anime, he goes berserk but Loki manages to calm him and Balder’s like Why are you hurt? And Loki plays it off. Loki then spends most of the rest of the play keeping Yui away from Balder which just pisses Balder off more until he goes berserk and God form again.  Loki tries to kill him with the dagger (Thor and Yui help) but in the end Loki hugs Balder and he calms again. Balder finally realises what’s going and tries to stab himself with the dagger but Loki throws it away cos he can’t do it. Balder says how kind Loki is and that he doesn’t want to hurt anyone so after him and Yui confess to each other and he tells everyone how important they are to him. He jumps off a cliff because it’s the only other way around the invicibility ;w;

We get a little more to wrap up and then we’re clapping and all the actors come on to bow and disappear again and we continue to clap until they cme back. Balder’s actor thanks us all for coming, reminds us of the high five event (which was Thor and Yui) and then they go to leave again. AND THEN LOKI LOOKS DIRECTLY AT ME AGAIN. I mouthed a thank you to him but I’m not sure he saw

I’m sure I’ll remember more so I’ll probably post again - also wife is seeing Loki’s end tonight!

I JUST WANT FANFICTION OF HADES AND YUI AFTER LOVE ENDING 1. I WANT TO SEE HOW THEY ADJUST IN THE UNDERWORLD. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. THE LACK OF FANFICTION FOR KAMIASO IS MAKING ME SAD.

/ / I still can't imagine how Loki managed to live in Japan when he doesn't like fish foods. Fish foods everywhere there and all. Maybe he forgot he doesn't like them like he forgot everything else? Did he choke them down to make Yui happy?

Heck, did he manage to eat fish foods to please her mother? Heck HOW DID HE DEAL WITH HER BROTHERS? HOW DID THEY REACT TO HIM?

So many questions I want answered regarding the gods in Japan. \ \

It seemed as if Yui had snapped out of her depression as abruptly as she had fallen into it, much to the delight of her family and friends. But following that, she met various men on the street who knew her by name, who smiled at her so warmly she felt her heart swell with adoration. She didn't know any of them, she swore she didn't, but every time she saw any one of them glace at her with a hint of sadness she felt as if somewhere, at some time, she might have and may have just...forgotten them.

Kamigami no Asobi InFinite - Balder & Loki

The two responsible for most of the drama, angst and pain suffered during my playthrough of the first game. None of that here since it’s the fandisc. I think Balder’s route drew attention because of that one CG lol, but otherwise it was quite predictable. Loki is still the lovable trickster.

Chapter 1

Yui decides to work with the Norse mythology group so they go to the go-home club clubroom after school to discuss. Loki asks Yui why she chose their group, to which she replies she wants to learn more about them. She notices the corridor seems quite busy so she opens the door, only to see a bunch of students crowded there. Loki says it must be because of Balder since as the god of Light he has the power to be loved by all. The students start swarming Balder with offers to help with the research. Loki goes over, pulls out a bomb he made, and when the students backed off he quickly closed the door and locked it.

Balder then expresses his happiness that Yui is unaffected by his power but is still kind towards him. Loki then tells Yui Balder also has another power where he can't be harmed by anything. Even rain will avoid him. They notice that the season has changed to autumn so Yui suggests organize a Halloween party. Loki completely agrees after hearing it's an event about tricks and candy lol.

So the next day they go to the library for their research before returning to the classroom. Loki scares them with another prank, which made Yui angry and in the end she left the classroom. The next day, to help them patch up, Balder invites her to go to the courtyard with them. Loki then brings out matching straps for them. He had made them to make up for making Yui angry, and Yui also apologizes before thanking Balder for helping Loki and her patch up. She notices Balder's braid had come undone after he fell down so he asks if she can help him braid his hair. As she's doing so Balder tells her it's usually Loki who braids his hair for him but her doing it also makes him happy. Loki then braids Yui's hair for her so now they all have matching straps and hairstyles.

Chapter 2

The prep for the party continues. Balder suggests making jack-o'-lanterns and Yui suggests they use the pumpkins to make sweets as well. Now they have to find a way to get pumpkins, since the school store doesn't sell them. They recall Dionysus having grown pumpkins in the gardening club's field so asked him if they could use them. The three of them start carving the pumpkins and Loki carves a cat lantern for Yui. Balder then says he wants to give Yui a present too however the lantern he carved ends up looking all weird. Balder then gets a bit down, saying that when it comes to things like that he always loses to Loki so Yui and Loki cheer him up.

It's a few days until the party and while Loki goes off checking the ingredients for the food, Balder and Yui work on the decorations. On the day itself the party was a success, with the other gods attending and Loki bringing out a giant cake. After cleaning up, the three of them return to the dorm and have a small toast. Balder comments that Yui seems like a friend they've known for a long time and Loki agrees. They would like to always stay friends with her, but Balder reminds Loki she can't go to their world and will have to return to her own world. Since they didn't get to say 'Trick or Treat' during the party due to being busy and all the gods decided they should do it now, and both offer to feed Yui dessert. The usual thread of fate at this point.

Chapter 3 (Balder)

With the party over they now have to focus on the presentation. They split into pairs, with Balder working with Yui, and Loki working with Thor. In typical Balder fashion he picks a food related book that mentions the Sahrimnir, a boar that's basically cooked and regens everyday to feed those in Valhalla. They talk about the food they dislike, and Yui offers to help Balder get over his dislike of veggies. She suggests they grow their own vegetables, since the extra emotional attachment will make them even tastier. They choose to grow radishes due to the relatively shorter harvest time.

Zeus changes the season to spring, and Yui remembers that Balder's birthday is during spring so she tells him to let her know if he has any requests. Days pass and Balder finally decides on a request. After they've harvested the radishes, he wants to try her homemade cooking. Yui suggests they add meat to make it a bento, which of course makes Balder even happier. It starts raining and they go to borrow an umbrella. There's conveniently only 1 left so they share. 

Balder comments that in the human world lovers would share an umbrella on rainy days, goes on about how it's fun to experience new things, even more so when it's with her, and confesses. Yui accepts.

Chapter 4 (Balder)

As usual Yui and Balder spend their days being rabu rabu and tending to their crops on the rooftop. The day finally comes for them to harvest the radishes and go on their planned picnic, but the season suddenly changes to winter. The radishes are ruined because of this. Balder cheers Yui up and since Yui had already prepared the rest of the bento, Balder suggests they continue with their picnic. Yui asks if he has a favourite place and he replies his favourite place is next to her. He then leans closer and Yui closes her eyes... but he's just teasing her pfft.

They go to a hill nearby which is covered with flowers but is now covered in snow. Balder says snow reminds him of his home so he never thought a day would come where he'd be sad to see it. Yui starts thinking about having to return to her world soon and not being able to see Balder anymore. Balder notices she seems down so he transforms into his god form and uses his powers to turn the area around them into a field of flowers. He tells Yui he loves her again and they kiss. Yui replies that even if she returns to her world, no matter where she is, she will love him.

End (Balder)

Their presentation is over and Yui and Balder spend most of their time together. A day before graduation, Yui and Balder are on the rooftop, reminiscing about the time they spent together. Balder walks Yui back to her room, and since they will return to their respective worlds tomorrow, he wants to spend the remaining night with her. Melissa had already returned to Zeus since with graduation confirm he doesn't need to be around anymore, so there's nobody to disturb them lol. Balder gives Yui a necklace as a sign that she's his, there's more lovey dovey words, and then:

Yeah.

Epilogue (Balder)

It's graduation day and they lovingly bid goodbye to each other. Yui returns to her world but remembers all about the hakoniwa and Balder because of the necklace. She misses Balder and one day says out loud that she wishes to meet him. And voila, Balder shows up, apologizes for making her wait, and declares he'll never leave her again. They kiss and get their happy ending woots.

Chapter 3 (Loki)

Loki plays a prank on Yui but instead of getting angry she praises him for being able to come up with something so intricate lol. Yui tells Loki she'll be working with him for the presentation while Balder will work with Thor. She's spending some time with Loki on the rooftop(why always the rooftop though) when she remembers they'd forgotten to celebrate Loki's birthday, being so preoccupied with the Halloween party and all. After discussing with Thor and Balder, Yui decides to hold a surprise birthday party for Loki. Loki is pleased with the surprise, commenting it's not so bad to be the one surprised once in a while.

However, since Yui had given him a note saying she had something important to discuss with him after class he was expecting some sort of cliché confession scene. Loki then confesses to Yui, who accepts and so they become a couple. One day, Yui goes to the library and finds Loki there along with Anubis and Thoth. Yui gets a little jelly seeing him have fun with them so after getting chased out of the library by Thoth for being noisy, the two of them spend some alone time in a classroom and Loki kisses Yui on the forehead after teasing her in typical Loki fashion. Loki then says he wants to spend whatever time they have left together with her and Yui agrees.

Chapter 4 (Loki)

Yui was thinking about how she and Loki do not have much time left together and didn't notice Loki speaking to her. When he asked her what she was thinking of, Yui replied that she was wondering if he'd mind the hot summer weather since he comes from someplace cold. Loki was like 'I'm the god of fire you know lol'. So Yui admits she feels a little lonely thinking that they'll have to separate soon and the two end up having a playful argument about who loves the other more. Anyway Loki is pleased that Yui is stating that she loves him in such an outright manner. Loki walks Yui back to her room that night and comes back a while later to give her a goodnight kiss only to be stopped by Melissa lmao.

Their presentation goes well and Loki asks Yui what she'd like to do for their remaining time in the hakoniwa. They end up going to the beach for a date, which made Yui recall the seaside outing they had with the class(albeit with some differences from the scenario we saw in the first game). Loki then asks if she's dissatisfied with just him and small light particles begin floating around Loki. Loki hugs Yui and she closed her eyes as she felt a hot wind enveloping them. When she opened her eyes Loki is now in his god form and flames are swirling around them. Loki tells Yui the flames are his feelings. If she tries to escape they will swallow and burn everything. He won't be able to limit it to a gentle warmth all the time. Even so, will she accept him? Yui replies that he's gotten his feelings across perfectly so Loki transforms back. 

Apparently he was sulky coz she was talking about other guys even though she's with him. Yui apologizes but tells him not to use his powers for stuff like that lol. As punishment Loki can only hold her hand for the rest of the day.

End (Loki)

It's graduation day and Loki starts expressing his reluctance at graduating, saying they could just stay in the hakoniwa. He wants to be with Yui forever. When he first came to the hakoniwa he couldn't care less about humans since they are weak, but Yui is different. It's the first time he's met a human like her and the first time he's truly fallen in love with someone, yet why is it they have to part? He then runs off, but leaves a trail of candy to the classroom they spent so much time together in. Someone hugs her and covers her eyes but she knows it's Loki and tells him to let go because she wants to look at his face and talk to him. Loki tells her no since this will be the last time he plays a prank on her. 

He tells her he loves her and doesn't want to let her go. Loki promises never to regret falling in love with her, and after hearing a bit more about her home, tells her he'll go visit her in Japan, and they kiss(no CG for this kiss either though poor Loki).

Epilogue (Loki)

Yui is back in her home and it's time for the annual festival at the shrine. For some unknown reason she's retained her memories of Loki and the hakoniwa. She's thinking about Loki again when someone covers her eyes asking "Guess who?” It's of course Loki, who's come to find her just as he said he would. but at the same time, he's probably still devastated that yui can never return to the surface ;u; like the light of his life is stuck down in that world with him and he most likely believes it's his fault!! i really hope they address these feelings in kamiaso infinite ahah...
