(B) Louis/Greg James - Louis takes Clifford to a secluded park and lets him run free for a few hours. A few weeks into going to a park, a friendly dog (Barney) Louis assumes is a stray comes over by him with a stick in his mouth and Louis plays fetch. This becomes a Thing every time. Louis notices Clifford has been gaining weight and can’t figure out why. One day, Clifford doesn’t come back like he usually does. Louis goes looking for him with (Barney) trailing on his heels. He’s just about to give up when (Barney) sprints away and Louis can’t stand the thought of losing two dogs in one day so he runs after him. Cut to…Louis finding a very tall, very handsome man, very excitedly welcoming Barney back with Clifford barely looking up from the almost gone bucket of dog food said very (very) handsome man clearly brought to the park. Confusion ensues since each thinks the other’s dog was a stray. Wild accusations from Louis about Greg making Clifford fat, jokes from Greg about how Barney has taken up finding perfect sticks and running away with his best one. They fall in love and become one big happy family.

( C ) Louis/Character B are musicians vying for the role of band leader at their former high school. They went there at the same time and were rivals then too, though for a totally different reason: they both had secret crushes on one another. When I've of them learns this, it changes everything.

(D) Girl direction! Louis/Character B are star athletes on the college (you choose the) sport team. They're both on the butch side, and it takes them a while to figure out that they're into one another and don't need to femme it up to get the other to like them.

(E) Omegaverse: Alpha Louis has never questioned who he is, a strong Alpha loving Alpha who defies stereotypes. When he meets character B, a beta, he certainly doesn't expect to fall for him (and hard)

(F) Famous Louis returns to his home town for his sister's wedding. When he sees his non-famous ex-boyfriend at the first wedding event of the weekend, sparks fly. Cue a whirlwind romance and a lot of big decisions about what they're both willing to do for love.

(G) Louis is a werewolf who's gotten good at hiding his nature in order to make a quiet life for himself in a small town. Character B is the vampire whose arrival coincides with a couple of murders that threaten his peaceful existence. When it becomes clear that B isn't behind the murders, he and Louis team up to find the real culprit (and maybe accidently fall in love along the way).

(H) Louis/Liam - Bros who get married for insurance purposes and then decide divorce isn’t worth the hassle.

It’s a fairy tale, only back home is Louis - his FWB, the most important person in Zayn’s life, and someone who doesn’t take well to losing out on attention. Louis' a bit put out when he meets Liam at football practice and this annoying, bossy, fit as all hell guy slides right in under all his defences. It could be the start of a beautiful term of fighting and fucking, only back home is Zayn. Zayn not only needs Louis - he’d become a full-time hermit otherwise - but it’s damn convenient having sex on tap right there in his own flat. And, oh yeah, Zayn’s like, his reflection or his shadow or his other half or something. Liam’s quite confused by having two drop dead gorgeous guys alternately sending him go signals, then just as quickly, stop. He figures if either of them settle on go, he’ll be batting a thousand. (EE) Louis is an actor in a murder mystery troupe. Character B (maybe Nick Grimshaw...?) is the audience member who’s clearly too cool for all this but giving joining in his best shot anyway. Louis is distracted by him all night, and then after the denouement they meet in the bar.

(FF) Louis/Greg James - Louis won’t stop whanging on about not getting to do the breakfast show with his new album, and character X (maybe Niall, or Oli?) eventually realises it's less career-related jealousy and more about who sits behind the mic. He hatches a matchmaking plan.

(GG) Character A does embarrassing things when interacting with Character B because of their massive crush. Like Character B reaches out to do a fist bump and Character A thinks it's supposed to be a microphone and says hello into their fist.

(HH) Character B joins local amateur dramatics society and suddenly Louis is no longer a shoo-in for every lead role. Cue the drama!

biography

kamiya grew up as a part of the stone moon pack in a small town not too far from hollows creek, a pack in which her family helped build. she was in one of the three major families in the pack and her dad was the current beta. that was, until things all went wrong. things for kamiya were quiet, normal, what some may call boring until her husband came along. beau was charming from the start and it was easy for her to fall in love with him since he was one of the first men to ever gain her attention. she was never too boy crazy and was usually one to obey her family and do whatever it was that made them happy. of course that changed when she suddenly married beau without her father’s approval and despite the fact that she was in same pack as him, he disowned her and the other members of her family went along with it due to his position in the house hold.

the young wolf went on to build a life with her husband and as much as she hated that she was without her family, beau made her happy and he treated her the way that she thought she deserved to be treated. kamiya honestly never thought that she could be any luckier. he took care of her, spoiled her, and did things for her that she would never imagine any one else would do. she didn’t work because the man made enough so that she didn’t have to and so she did as any house wife would do - cleaned, cooked, and anything else beau needed. she was happy with the life she built but what she didn’t know was what her husband was doing to gain the money.

come to find out three years into their marriage, her husband was taking single women from their pack and selling them to rich men who thought that they were “exotic”. meanwhile, when he caught trying to take one of the women to one of the buyers by pack patrol, he was sentenced to death by the alpha. kamiya was devastated and heart broken to know that the money that had paid for their lives was dirty. she hoped that maybe the pack would be sympathetic towards her but that wasn’t the case. in the middle of the night, they swared her home and lit the house on fire so that she had no choice but to come out. when they did, they chased her out of town but not before getting some licks in. she was scratched, beaten, bitten, and was lucky to make it to the outskirts of hollows creek alive.

„alpha, I think they’re coming tonight...“ he concentrated on the papers in front of him and just let out a hm. he knew they would come... the only safe place for his mate was in his arms and the highest priority to keep you safe. as the luna of the pack everyone wanted to protect you.

the one desiring you a rebellious werewolf of a rival pack called choi jong ho. it wasn’t unusual some wolfs tried to steal away mates and especially lunas from other packs if they were said to be gorgeous and in good shape for giving strong pups.

unfortunately you were quite the catch and the still unmated wolf wanted to steal you away from hong joong. the fresher the bond was the higher the chance to complete a mating process with another wolf and hong joong feared for that so much ...

as the night came you were cuddled in hong joong‘s arms in your bed and slowly drifting off to sleep. hong joong tried to steady his breathing to not interrupt you but when howls could be heard he knew it was about to begin. you stirred in your sleep and the young alpha took you bridal style into a secret room under the house. you shot him a questioning look and he hushed you with a sweet kiss.

„stay here my love and don’t make a sound.“

with that he left the house and changed into his wolf to fight off the scum that wanted to take his precious mate. he arrived at the borders where werewolves already lunged at each other and started to fight the intruders. after a while they managed to overpower the rival pack but hong joong noticed something really bad... where was jong ho? pure horror filled his mind when he ran back to his mate as fast as he could but he already was too late...

the attack only intended to distract him so jong ho could get you... he had been so dumb! he plumped to the ground and cried into his hands... his beta put a hand on his shoulder and sighed.

„we will get her back... she’s our luna.“

seong hwa usually was a calm boy with good manners. he tried to avoid fights at all costs although he was well skilled but when you and the black wolf went to the annual mate festival of your region a mistake was made.

jung woo young decided to attend the festival, too. a young wolf that once trained with seong hwa back in an advanced camp for skilled fighters. seong hwa and woo young had quite the problematic relationship ship as the younger one loved to get on his nerves all the time. seong hwa didn’t really know why woo young hated him so much... but when he saw him being accompanied by some of his friends entering the area his grip around your waist automatically became stronger.

he tried to avoid the younger like a plague but eventually you had to go to the toilet some time and that’s when woo young took his chance. he ordered his friends to attack seong hwa and distract him so he could get you when you left the restrooms.

„what are you d-“ a cloth has been out over your nose and mouth and you fell unconscious at the scent that drifted off of it.

you awakened in a room handcuffed to a bed still dizzy and your wolf already scared and sick worried for your mate. „where’s seong hwa? where’s our mate, y/n?“

„so you’re awake, love“ a boy came through the door and emerged your form on the bed with confident steps.

„who are you?! and why am I here?“ you struggled and tried to shift but something stopped you from doing so.

„don’t even try. those are magical cuffs. I brought you here because I am going to make you mine.“ he smirked at you and crawled on top of you securing your hands above you with a tight grip. you tried to struggle out but he just laughed at you and neared your neck with his emerged fangs.

„this is going to hurt a little bit, well at least I‘ve heard that...“ you cried out loud when he left a deep dirty mark over your mate‘s one.

„s-seong hwa...”

jeong yun ho had everything... the looks, the popularity and the prettiest girl out of the pack. yeo sang could only scoff at the way he was holding hands with you at his birthday party and having this dumb grin on his face whenever you would say something or someone would compliment the two of you. he was sick of it.

how much he’d like to wipe that smirk off his face... if he just wouldn’t have you... maybe than he wouldn’t be so happy anymore.

„yeo sang? don’t you want your birthday present now?“ he flinched a little bit don’t realizing you were standing in front of him smiling so sweetly. oh how he loved you, you and him were the best friends until mr. lover came.

„do I?“ your eyebrows furrowed at his words not really getting his hostility.

„don’t be like this... come on! I want to show you something!“ you grabbed his hand and left the place with him to bring you two to your old favorite secret spot deep in the forest where a little pond was located. yeo sang couldn’t believe what he saw, you managed to put candles everywhere and prepared something like a picnic but with a bottle of tequila.

„why did you do that?“

„why not? it’s your birthday and I thought we could take a swim again; you know, like back when we were younger... and you looked pretty bored back at the party.“ you shyly fiddled with your fingers thinking it was a bad idea. yeo sang on the other hand found it really cute that you were thinking he didn’t appreciate your afford.

he smiled at you and started to get out of his shirt. you smirked at him and soon you were giggling and playing in the water. why couldn’t every day be like this again... or maybe it could be? after some time the playing turned into something more heated and you soon realized that your wolf wasn’t really into another man touching you at places he shouldn’t... you struggled out of his touch but yeo sang let his inner beast free and dragged you back to the land to crawl over you and leave marks all over your neck and breast while holding you still.

you being paralyzed tried to scream or cry but nothing came out, too shocked at yeo sang’s actions. suddenly yun ho ripped the boy off your body and back to the ground, growling so loud yeo sang changed into his wolf. yun ho felt that something was wrong and knowing where you wanted to bring yeo sang he decided to check and seeing the boy harassing you made his blood boil.

a fight began and yun ho definitely was a lot bigger than yeo sang and used this to win over the other wolf. finally yeo sang stopped and crawled back to a tree licking his wound.

„if you ever lay a finger on her again I won’t hesitate to snap you neck!“

yeo sang usually has been a very cautious wolf and knew his mate was a beauty around the female wolves. you still being unmarked and not mated with yeo sang, yet, got flirting remarks here and there. his friends told him that there was a boy from the rival pack, where you originally belonged to, that was still after you. his name was jeong yun ho.

to his bad luck at a night out with your and his friends yun ho happened to be in the club, too. yeo sang didn’t know the guy that suddenly went to the dance floor wrapping his arm around your waist and whispering something into your ear. yeo sang trusted you and hoped you would get out of the situation on your own but when he saw you searching for him in the location his wolf told him he had to help you. he should mark his territory and only once not back up.

without realizing he stood up and emerged your forms on the dance floor. the atmosphere changed and people made space for you.

„haha, don’t tell me this is the fool you were leaving me for?“ yun ho placed his chin on the top of your shoulder and smirked provocatively at your mate.

„let go yun ho! he’s my mate!“

„yeah, but he didn’t even try to make this official... maybe he just doesn’t want you as much as me?“

„take your hands off her or I will make you.“

yeo sang’s friends and yun ho’s were gathering behind the boys ready to attack. although yeo sang was quite scared he felt the urge to be brave for you. yun ho let go of you and positioned you behind him.

„tell me, little boy... why didn’t you marked or mated with her yet? you aren’t man enough for her!“

„why do you think I have to rush those kind of things? not everyone’s a dick like you fucking around and thinking a bond can only be made by doing those things. what connects me and y/n is much deeper and I know you are someone who will never understand those kind of things...“

people whistled and howled at yeo sang’s words and girls swooned over the young wolf. yun ho‘s cocky attitude slipped. he wasn’t used to be put down like that only knowing one way to win a fight. before he could take a hold of himself the bodyguards of the club interrupted the scene and everyone went their own way again, you two deciding to leave.

yeo sang drove in silence and you took his one hand to put it into your lap.

„you know, I never knew you thought of our relationship like that... I really like it.“ yeo sang sensed you blushing beside him and his wolf felt proud at your words.

„it’s because I value you as the person I love and we are the only ones who make the rules for our relationship.“

you smiled at him, knowing you couldn’t get a better mate like kang yeo sang.

he stopped in his tracks and sadly watched you crying and being scared of his touch. san didn’t know what was going on... seong hwa entered the room overhearing the talking outside.

„I didn’t even know this was possible... but I think y/n’s under a spell. a strong spell to admit, possibly done by a witch.“

„what the fuck? how did they got a witch to do that?“

„I don’t know... but only a witch can heal her. we can rescue her but I won’t need to tell you that it’s going to be hell dangerous.“

„you know I would do anything for my mate!“ they both nodded at san and exchanged looks to leave him a little bit alone with you. you scoffed at the boy pretending to be your mate when he neared your form on the ground.

„don’t worry my love, I will find a way.“ his eyes watered at your bored stare...

hong joong was in his office looking over some notes when his beta opened the door.

„everything‘s going well. they have her but she doesn’t remember san.“ hong joong devilishly smirked at him and dismissed him with a swift wave of his hand.

it wasn’t a secret the light and the shadow pack always had a big disput, maybe even linked to their contrary names... they always competed against each other; like the girls comparing who had the more prettier ones, the boys fighting against each other or alone the two alphas getting on each others’ nerves whenever there was a chance.

song min gi also participated in those horseplays and his favorite opponent from the rival pack was the beta park seong hwa. they always teased each other, hyping eachother up who could run faster, have more girls, win more fights, kill off more rogues and hunters... it all ended soon when min gi found his mate, y/l/n y/n. you found the antics your pack made silly and were quite shocked when you and min gi turned out to be mates, but he changed for you.

much to the displease of park seong hwa. he was literally bored, hearing from the omegas that min gi found his mate and didn’t want to compete with him anymore...

wolves were really prideful and always in for a strength measurement, it practically was anchored in their nature. as seong hwa was a boy who cared for nothing he decided he wanted his fun back, so he made a plan to kill you. having an angry min gi would mean he would feel the urge to fight against him again.

it was one night when you went for a run in the woods. you still were on your territory but far away from the zivilisation of your pack. seong hwa took his chance and attacked you. he managed to cut deep into your waist with his fangs and licked his blood smeared snout when you tried to limp into the direction of your home. you let out a loud howl in the hope someone heard you.

min gi instantly awakened knowing something was off. he changed into his wolf form and sped into the direction he could make out your scent. he mind-linked the guards who told him they were on their way.

„y/n? where are you?“

turning around another tree there were you. your fury neck between seong hwa‘s canines ready to break it.

„what are you doing you bastard!“ but it already was too late when he lunged forward and seong hwa bit hard into your flesh. you let out a howl, luckily the guards arrived and seong hwa knew he couldn’t win this fight. min gi was about to join the others in hunting the beta but his wolf held him back and urged him to get to you. he changed back into his human form tears already running down his face like a waterfall.

„oh no, my dear y/n...“ you were really lucky seong hwa wasn’t able to break your neck and your genes speeding up the healing process, but you had to be stationed into the pack hospital for over four weeks being put into a artificial coma.

„y/n, I am swearing this time was enough... the alpha said there‘s going to be a war. I promise you no one will ever hurt you again because I am going to kill park seong hwa.“ he took your hand into his kissing the top of it. every day he came to the hospital sitting by your side and speaking to you...

park seong hwa crossed a border and min gi would make sure he would pay for it.

although choi san has been from a pack his own wasn’t on good terms so much. the two had been the best friends since one could think of. that’s why woo young wouldn’t have ever thought san would make a move on his own mate...

it was typical night back at your and woo young‘s apartment only san being there this time as all your other friends either canceled or have been too engulfed into the heating session this spring. your waves came occasionally but as you mate took care of you yesterday you were certain this evening nothing would happen.

„oh shit, I forgot the salsa sauce!“ your’s and san‘s gaze drifted off the couch to where woo young was searching in the refrigerator.

„you know there‘s no chance we‘re eating tortillas without salsa.“

„yeah, just start the movie... I am driving to the store and get some. I won’t take too long!“

he took his keys and gave you a last quick peck on your lips to leave, not noticing san‘s eyes focused a little bit too much on the little gesture. after some minutes you playing with your phone and occasionally watching the movie you gasped when you suddenly felt san‘s hand at your slit. just when you wanted to shout at him, smack him or anything out of shock a deep wave of pleasure came over you.

it was risky. female wolves sending off vibes to the male ones in heat... not only the mate could smell the arousing scent but the others, too. that’s why mated pairs usually sticked to each other at those times. what san was doing at this moment was the shittiest thing someone could do, not only betraying his friend like this but taking advantage of your vulnerable state, too.

he smirked at your moaning form you not being able to do anything but melting into his touch... you hated it but your body betrayed you because of the stupid animal in you.

„s - san, please, stop...“

„you don’t mean that. you know, I think I could make you moan my name louder than woo‘s able to.“ your eyes widen at his statement

„w - what do you mean.“ he only increased his pressure on your sensitive spot and neared your ear to tickle it with his hot breath „I mean, the times I slept over... you don’t really think I didn’t hear you?“ you blushed at that. a tear escaped you and you just hoped he would end this nonsense...

„what the actual - “ woo young let the bag fall to the ground and you heard the glass splitter. he lunged forward and grabbed san by his hair to smash him into the wall, a picture crashing down in the process.

„you motherfucker! what do you think you’re doing with my mate?!“ his fist meets san‘s cheek and the boy grins while blood is tickling down his chin

„you’re my bestfriend! you damn know she’s in heat!“

„I am not your bestfriend! I just waited for the chance to destroy you! the alpha told me how your pack uses every chance to discriminate us! and I know to hurt you I have to take what you love the most...“ his gaze drifts to your still shaking form on the couch. woo young follows his gaze and feels his canines grow at the statement. he watches san and just feels anger and betrayal but instead of snapping his neck he let go of him.

„fuck off. if I every see you on our land again I will kill you. and don’t dare to look into her direction ever again!“ with that san leaves the place and you put your face into your hands too ashamed of what happened.

„y/n...“

„don’t! I am disgusting! I couldn’t hold myself back I really tried and fought but I wasn’t strong enough... I am so sorry woo young... I don’t deserve you.“ you hiccuped and cried but woo young managed to get your face into his own hands staring deeply into your eyes.

„it wasn’t your fault, he knew what time it is and took advantage of it... I would never doubt your love and loyalty to me.“ he took you into his arms and let you cry into him. what really hurt the most was the fact the his once best friend hated him from the beginning... he knew you could never hurt him like he did.

„of course you won’t go... min gi cheated I just have to prove this...“

„y/n, please wait!“ jong ho tried to stop you but you were already emerging min gi and his friends position right over the fighting field. you knew he came from a rival pack and since the fightings started he glanced over at you from time to time. your wolf tried to stop you and told you it was a dumb idea to anger your mate more than he already was but you knew jong ho lost and a debt had to be paid.

„stop!“

„don’t make a fool out of yourself, jong ho. I could smell y/n‘s arousal back over here when you told her the news!“ his friends snickered behind him and you were embarrassingly blushing at his statement although you were sure none other than your mate himself could make you feel this way.

an idea plopped into jong ho‘s mind. he knew min gi was too much into competitions. „how about a rematch? you can have her for one night but only if you’re able to catch her the first when she’s hiding in the forest.“

your eyes widened at your mate‘s statement. now he really lost all of his brain.

„choi jong h-“

„alright.“ huh? you really didn’t know who was dumber...

but you soon found yourself running into the forest and searching for a good hiding place. min gi and jong ho got themselves ready to hunt you. jong ho mentally smiled to himself, min gi was unmated and didn’t know what your mates scent smelled like... it was the most delicious thing a wolf‘s nose could ever encounter. he definitely would be able to get to you sooner than the dumb boy.

they started to rush through the woods and jong ho luckily already got a good track of your smell and followed the trail to you. and it came how it had to come. jong ho won the battle and min gi was so furious he crashed down a whole tree to get rid off his anger; his friends scolding him off being so dumb to join another competition and losing the date with you.

you were currently cuddled in jong ho‘s lap back in the pack house. he buried his nose into your neck and sighed.

„I am still mad, you know?“ you turned your head to look at him and saw him pouting at you knowing it was your sweet spot for him.

„I am going to be a good mate from now on.“

„no competitions?“

„no competitions anymore, promise.“

„hey, jong ho! the others want you to join us in arm-wrestling-“ jong ho just was about to push you out of his lap when you scoffed at him to which the stopped in his tracks.

„haha, right... no competitions anymore. but for how long?“ you rolled with your eyes laughing out... what a mate you got.

He drops things off when you're resting though

You're not seriously hurt so he does the bare minimum, but if you fall when you're sick then get ready for him to be all over you as he won't let you our of his sights

At first, he thinks it's because of all the sweets he made you

He makes the best soup for you

Jack has always been very affectionate, but it's like he tripled it

He keeps you in the kitchen with him for most of the day unless you feel like shit

Gifts are an everyday thing but it seems as if there's 5 a day instead of a singular big one

Kisses all over your face, long embraces, and cuddly naps occur more and more if you're in lots of pain

Jack is a blanket of comfort for you to indulge in until you get better, mayhaps even after

Are human sicknesses like werewolf ones?

Poor boy is confused, but still does a great job taking care of you

He gives you honey lemon tea for your coughing so your throat won't hurt

He's super flustered if you thank him before he leaves

Came in with a tray of tea, snacks, flowers, and a card

He almost tackled you in a hug when he saw how tired you were, you looked so ✨ precious ✨ to him

He feeds you the snacks he brought and if you have pain or can't stop coughing, he'll grab some medicine for you

He told you to read the card after he left, which wasn't until the next day since he decided to sleep with you

He thought he didn't do a lot so when you smile at him and tell him how much you appreciated this, he's a bit shocked and blushy

Of course, painting isn't his entire life but he was working on a huge project during this time

He was in your room almost immediately after you woke up, hot honey tea and your favorite book

He had such a cute smile on his face as he took care of you, I think his heart warmed at the idea of being there for you 😉

For Tricks and Treats of Riverdale, Theme 3: Seasonal Celebrations (Haunted House)

The Wicked Forest was reportedly “the most un-hinged haunted attraction in Riverdale”.

Betty had shown up as soon as the sun went down, and she still spent an hour waiting in line. Alone, of course. Every one of her friends would rather spend Halloween getting drunk at an off-campus party than indulging in the spooky atmosphere. Granted, she hadn’t actually told anyone where she would be going tonight, because the Wicked Forest was firmly in the Southside and as much as some people in the Northside liked to brag or bluster, very few had the guts to actually cross the boundary lines.

That she had gave Betty an illicit thrill.

This year, she’d dressed up as a zombie schoolgirl: hair spray painted gray in a side ponytail to match her torn, bloody white blouse and desaturated gray plaid miniskirt. The face makeup was the most fun to apply, all those Youtube tutorials coming in handy. Gray foundation to give herself a deathly pallor on all expanses of exposed skin, black raccoon eyes, fleshy red ‘gouges’ on the side of her face, and dark red lipstick.

She wondered what her friends would think if they knew she was actually dressing sexy for once. They probably wouldn’t believe it.

A haunted house on Halloween was hardly the place to pick up a date, but for Betty, who had been gradually building up her confidence to sign up for Tinder, wearing knee-high white socks and no underwear made her feel like a bold, sexy woman.

“Betty?” a familiar baritone called out from behind her. She turned around and a guy she didn’t immediately recognize waved at her. “Hey.”

Squinting, she took in the mop of black hair and the slim body in a black-and-white skeleton shirt, leather jacket, black jeans and boots, and the skeleton face paint. “Jughead? Is that you? You look amazing!”

“Thanks. So do you.”

Jughead Jones had shared a few classes with her over the past two years. At first, Betty had found him and his voice annoying. She couldn’t be sure at what point over the past two years her feelings had evolved into a massive, uncontrollable crush. Naturally, in true Betty Cooper fashion, she didn’t have the guts to try and make a move and would rather throw herself into the vicissitudes of online hookups.

Jughead ran a hand covered in fingerless gloves through his hair. “Do you want to go through together?”

“Sure!” She could’ve kicked herself for her bobblehead impersonation then. “So have you gone through this one before?”

“Twice as a guest, but I’ve worked it several times as well.”

“Really? What kind of characters did you play?”

“I did mostly forest work—a Jason Vorhees/Leatherface composite type with a hockey mask and chainsaw. One year I got to be a werewolf.” Jughead sounded more bashful than proud when he admitted that.

“I bet it was fun...I prefer to be on the receiving end of scares, though.”

“Unless it’s one of Chipping’s essay prompts,” he quipped.

Betty groaned and smacked his arm. “Don’t remind me. The last one was so stupid, wasn’t it? ‘Write your own ending to prove there’s no single way to tell a story...but’—”

“—’but I’m still going to pick a winner in the end!’” they both chorused, laughing at their shared derision.

After that they were quickly engrossed in a debate about the best Halloween movies to watch during the buildup to the holiday. Jughead’s preferences ran more towards the older classics and Hitchcock, Betty’s more towards relatively recent films like Hocus Pocus, The Addams Family, and Practical Magic.

Oddly enough, she discovered they both loved the cult hit Ginger Snaps.

By the time they were at the head of the line, Betty was sure her blush was showing through the heavy makeup.

The general order of the Wicked Forest went like this: haunted house, a maze that led to the shed, a bridge over the creek, then the forest proper.

The baseboards creaked as they crossed into the dilapidated house; maniacal laughter and screams could be heard faintly in the distance. A ghostly apparition dressed like a long-dead bride lit up in the corner of the living room, moaning as its arm raised, pointing a finger at them. Betty gasped and hugged the wall as she moved into the kitchen, Jughead following close by.

Smoky fog covered the floor, pouring from cauldrons. Made from dry ice, probably, and lit up by green lights. A witch cackled as she stirred her brew. In the corners, cages descended from the ceiling, people in them reaching out and begging for help.

She shared a wide smile with Jughead.

In the bathroom, they found a bloated dead body with red hair, dressed in all white, floating in the tub. “Disturbingly realistic,” Betty muttered to herself. In the dining room, a young woman was suspended up on the wall with long knives sticking out of her body. ‘All those who escaped me before will die’ was scrawled in blood around her body.

“I think she was in our English class last year,” Jughead whispered to Betty, her stomach queasy from the excitement.

They were herded into the basement, where they discovered that in order to get to the other side, they would have to go through a gauntlet of secret society members in dark hooded robes. A red carpet highlighted their path. After they’d taken a few steps past the first hooded figures, they all stepped forward, giving Betty and Jughead less space to escape. As if reading each other’s minds they moved faster, only for the hooded figures to step closer and closer.

One jumped into their path, exposing a Scream mask. Betty was not at all mortified by her little yelp of fright. Not at all.

From there, they were in a cool cellar with a dimly lit tunnel rising up to ground level outside. Cobwebs covered the top and sides and as soon as she spotted the giant spider on top, she had a feeling she knew what was coming. Sure enough, as soon as they passed underneath, the spider dropped onto their heads. Betty shrieked and ran the rest of the way through.

“Oh my god, oh my god!”

Jughead was clearly laughing at her expense as they emerged outside. “What, are you scared of spiders, Cooper?” he teased her.

“Shut it, Jones.” She snapped back without heat. “Why are you even going through the attraction if it bores you?”

“Oh, it’s never boring. Maybe I’m just enjoying it more with you.”

She felt like she was back in sixth grade again. Should she pass him a note asking ‘do you like-like me? Circle y/n’?

Betty was grateful for the absurdly long lead time in between guests. It meant she wasn’t running into the group ahead or the group behind, like in most other haunted attractions she’d attended over the years.

As they entered the shed, the walls and floor tilted, disorienting her. Then Jughead was there, hand slipping into hers as he helped guide her to more even ground. Even after the floorboards started vibrating underneath them, neither let go of the other. Betty laughed with delight as they pushed through the heavy plastic curtains into an open space occupied by a scene out of a medical horror: a conscious, moaning woman was strapped down on a gurney while a man in a bloody doctor’s mask and lab coat performed what looked like a lobotomy on her, bits of brain matter leaking outside her head. Her chest was held open by a spreader, the bloody mass of her internal organs on display.

“Ew, ew, ew!” Betty stomped her feet and pushed Jughead onwards faster. “Too real!”

The trees pressed in on them more as the manmade pathway guided them to the small bridge that would take them across the creek and into the thick of the forest. Part of the way across, a small golden light came on in the distance, drawing her attention to the side. A hulking body unfolded itself before howling at the night sky above.

Betty didn’t realize Jughead was right behind her until her back was pressed into his front and his hands gripped her hips. She turned her head without taking her eyes off the werewolf. “Your old job?”

“Yeah, me and Fangs used to partner during this bit.”

“Partner?”

A dark shape darted in between the bridge railings, grabbing at her ankles. Jughead’s giggles were almost as loud next to her ear as her startled shrieks before she took off to the other side. She had to remind herself to breathe deeply and calm herself down while they moved on.

Maybe it was the near pitch black of the forest that made her brave, but Betty reached out and slid her hand back in Jughead’s. They shared shy smiles that made hope bloom inside her.

There was a decrepit school bus sitting right there in the middle of the trees. Not sinister at all. Jughead made a gallant ‘after you’ motion, sweeping low with his bow. Betty fanned herself and simpered, “such a gentleman!”

“Nonsense! I’m merely ensuing you die first, my dear.” His upper crust British accent was atrocious.

“You sounded like Niles Crane from Frasier.”

She forced herself to stop snickering as she stepped up into the bus. At first glance, all the people in the seats were dead or otherwise inanimate. Carefully, she made her way down the narrow aisle, hugging her arms to herself in anticipation of the movement she knew must be com—

“AH! FUCK!”

Betty twisted around and saw Jughead pressed up against seats opposite a softly hooting ghoul still reaching out for him with gnarled fingers.

At the front, a burly man wearing a black balaclava stood up suddenly, facing them with an enormous, shiny knife. The momentary relief on Jughead’s face morphed to fear and Betty didn’t have to be told twice as they booked it out of the bus, one more monstrous figure trying to impede their progress.

“So much for the unflappable Jughead Jones,” she started after they caught their breath and made sure the man in the black hood wasn’t following them any longer.

“Har har, I am humbled.”

After that point, the path became increasingly bumpy and overgrown and Betty couldn’t see well enough to stop herself from lurching to and fro. Jughead was right there by her side, using his arm around her waist to keep her from face-planting in the dirt. Given that she was wearing low block heels, she had no idea how some of the other guests were doing this in three inch stilettos.

Maybe it was their surroundings, maybe it was Jughead’s touch that was responsible for her heart continuing to pound wildly. Branches closed in on them before they exited into a small clearing. A fire roared in a pit, the sudden brightness making her eyes hurt and eclipsing what was happening along the treeline.

“Whoa,” Jughead murmured, alarmed, causing her to squint harder.

People had stepped into the firelight, wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and gray gargoyle masks. Growling could be heard behind them and when Betty and Jughead turned, an inhumanely tall figure stepped around the bushes, with a long robe, some kind of blooded animal skull mask with horns, branches for wings, and a necklace of bones.

The minions stepped closer, closing ranks menacingly. This time, it was Jughead who grabbed her hand and tugged her past the leader and the wooden placard that proclaimed that the creature was the Gargoyle King, and back into the dark forest.

They stumbled along for another minute before Jughead muttered something to himself that sounded vaguely like “ah, fuck it”.

He led her over to the rope boundary that made up the path and stepped over it.

“What are you doing?”

“Shh! I know this place like the back of my hand. It’s just the lame clown shit ahead. Do you trust me?”

Betty didn’t know about trust, but she was totally down for whatever they might get up to out there. Alone. “Hmm-mm,” she nodded and stepped carefully over the rope too. Together they made their way down a slope and around a cluster of bushes.

She found herself pressed back against a thick tree trunk, warm lips on hers, and the sounds of excited screams nearby reminding her that they weren’t alone. Betty raised up onto her tiptoes and pulled Jughead closer as she kissed him all the more eagerly.

The heat of his hands could be felt through her shirt while he cupped her breasts, making her tilt her head back to moan.

“Shhh,” he whispered softly this time before dotting soft kisses along her neck.

Their face makeup must be horribly messed up by now but Betty didn’t care. She wanted to take him back to her dorm room, or go to his, and do all the wicked things she’d been fantasizing about.

They snickered as they made it to the end where a flatbed full of bales of hay was hooked up to a tractor, waiting to take them back around to the entrance. Jughead glanced over at her then, and Betty had to bite back another laugh. His makeup pretty much announced to everyone what they’d been up to, but she couldn’t bring herself to care.

Orgasms and finally hooking up with your crush would do that.

“So, would it be too weird for me to ask if you wanted to go out to lunch with me this weekend?”

The Report Card -- Fantasy High Sophomore Year Ep 1

Sophomores and Spring Break

Note: Hey guys! I decided to try something a little bit different and slightly more structured than my usual recaps for FH: Sophomore Year. I’m hoping this will be a little easier for me and a more useful tool for keeping up to date since there will be a lot more eps to keep track of and they’ll be easier to miss. Lemme know what you think and if you want raw, unfiltered opinions on anything specific, feel free to send me an ask. I’m always down to go off about literally whatever.

We’re back, baby! It is Sophomore Year at Aguefort and the gang is on Spring Break. A lot is going down so lemme break it down. The Bad Kids, having defeated Kalvaxus last year, are all entitled to a share of his hoard and all the red tape is finally cleared so they all get 20k gold each (which is an insane amount of money converted to USD if you use the WOTC conversion rate of a gold coin being around $145 (circa 2006 when they answered the question)--which would be close to $330 with inflation). Jawbone and Sandra-Lynn are moving in after less than a year into a profoundly haunted house and it’s kind of a Full House situation because Adaine, Fig, Kristen, and Tracker all officially live there (plus it seems that Zayn has also anchored himself to Adaine’s tower--btw, Adaine took the tower that the haunted house obviously has) and you know all the other Bad Kids are gonna be there on the regular.

More importantly, Aguefort gives the gang their big project for the year--finding the crown of the Nightmare King which was stolen at the end of last season--which is worth 60% of their grade (Adaine does a full Hermione at this information). Each of the gang has info about the NK but the trail has mostly gone cold. Luckily, Fabian just got a hot tip about where Falinel is keeping Aelwyn and she seems like a pretty good lead to start with since she was super tied up in the bad side of all the messiness of last year. Adaine is displeased to say the least.

Going off to find the crown is super exciting story-wise for two reasons. First of all, it means the gang gets to hire, well, hirelings to help them and temporarily join the party! They ping basically every cool NPC they can think of (except for Tracker for some reason which is BONKERS because (1) she probably would have done it for free and cutting her in would still be keeping the money in the family, (2) she’s dope as hell, (3) she’s a cleric and the party can always use more healers, (4) she’s a werewolf so presumably she has skills that would help in the woods, and (5) they’re t r a c k i n g down a crown and the girl’s name is literally T R A C K E R, but I will not backseat D&D) and eventually end up with Ragh (who has been without an adventuring party all year, poor guy), Sandra-Lynn (swayed by a nat 20 rolled by Fig), Cathilda (!?) ,and, for some reason, Gilear (which Fabian is happy about, mainly for the opportunity to maybe bump him off on the way). Second of all, if you recall, Elmville is a pretty modern town but the rest of the continent is less fantasy high, more high fantasy. Horses and lanterns and all that pseudo-medieval goodness. They are gonna stick out like a sore thumb. I am very here for it.

Everyone goes home to rest up but, after some ominous dreams, only four of them wake up. Riz and Fig are left asleep and then Brennan mic drops and ends the episode which is a power move and I am extremely upset about it but also, respect. Right for the jugular immediately. I heard Murph and Emily are on tour in the UK next week which probably has something to do with this but, in the moment, I did not know that and I really felt the hammer drop in my heart. It was wild. Cannot wait to see where we go from here. Plus, who doesn’t love watching characters freak out because their friends are in danger?

Random Thoughts

I have no idea what the title of this episode is or if it’ll even have one and not a number but I gave it a placeholder one for now. I also don’t have access to the stream yet so I didn’t get to include some info I wanted to (like a record of nat 20s, and nat 1s so I can track their stats for the school year) and I probably missed some stuff because my brain can only hold so much info guys. I’m not Brennan.

I mentioned this yesterday during the stream, but there will never be anything better than the pure D&D joy of everyone, in character, talking over each other to clown on each other. They get the friend-group banter that’s a hair breadth’s away from bullying so true to life and it’s so fun to watch. On the flip side, the opening scene with everyone introducing themselves and affirmatively claiming each other as their best friends was also peak D&D. Found family= best trope.

Fig and Adaine burn spell-slots at basically the same time to try and beat each other to the best room in the (Scooby-Doo ass) house--which is exactly the kind of thing that would happen in this world. It’s such an intuitive setting. I love it so much. (BTW, Fig ends up staying in the false space under the revolving grand piano because, of course).

Fabian and Gorgug went to recruit Ragh, who assumed they were propositioning him for a three-way. In his defense, they did do it in a super proposition-y way and they were in the middle of the LGBTQ student union.

Also, Gorgug gives Ragh an inspiring speech about thinking you’re your own dad which makes him burst into tears.

Speaking of, Jawbone offhandedly says he’s poly but, like, based on some of the stuff he’s said, I feel like that’s not really a reveal. He also gets along well with Gorthalax and would be down w/ a three-way if Sandra-Lynn wanted to which, again, totally checks out.

Arthur Aguefort uses Chronomancy to rewind time and catch a snide comment Adaine made under her breath, which is exactly the kind of frivolous use of God-like power I’d expect from him.

I really love Adaine’s energy coming into this season. She’s in therapy. She’s in a good home environment. She’s comfortable enough with her friend group to do stuff like prank Fig (love that they’re gonna be living together now). And she’s good friends with Zayn now which I want to see more of based on their one interaction in this ep which was very cute. I am already on record as saying I would be down with her getting a ghost boyfriend--I mean, for the aesthetic alone--but I’d be happy with just more friendship.

Fabian is also hilarious this season because you can tell he’s gone a bit soft from having friends and leaning into that (the friendship necklace with Riz) but also he’s fully aware that it’s happening so he’s, like, ping-ponging back and forth like, “These are my friends,” and, “What am I saying? I used to be cool,” and it’s very funny. Very happy the Aelwyn storyline is happening right out of the gate, both because I think Aelwyn is a very interesting character with a lot of potential for nuance but also because Fabian reacting to her and Adaine reacting to Fabian reacting to her is always gold.

Prompted by an offhand conversation from Fig about rock and roll, Brennan--earning another feather for his Cap of God Tier DMing--goes on an impromptu five minute long improved diatribe about a bard who played such a good concert that it instantly impregnated everyone in attendance (dudes too) who gave birth to kids with sick rocker hair and denim jackets and ascended to Rock Heaven on their 18th Birthday. You truly have to watch it to believe it. At a certain point I thought he was gonna drop it but that was the moment he doubled down and kept going. Amazing.

Watching Murph, in real time, make up a girl/boy/whateverfriend in Fantasy Canada was a gift.

I don’t have access to the stream yet but best quote of the night that I can remember is Kristen choosing her room: This is triggering and I’ll take it. (Her line about her lesbian starter kit and the one about wanting a horse were also bangers).

The group talks about what they’re going to do for transportation outside of Elmsville since they don’t really use cars out there and they somehow get from “disguise Fig’s tour bus” to “commission Aguefort to create a brand new animal that can hold six people plus hirelings, one of which is Fabian who is also riding his motorbike”.

I love that Sandra-Lynn’s Mom Powers work on Tracker.

Basrar doesn’t accept the invitation to come with on the quest, but he does give Kristen a bag of infinite ice cream sandwiches, which is basically just as good, IMO.

Oh Gilear. The man is sleeping in the Seacaster garage, being bullied by skater kids, and now he’s stuck on this quest with his ex and Fabian who actively wants him dead.

Speaking of, I’m psyched to see more of Sandra-Lynn. She was kind of a sleeper badass at the end of last season.

Ragh is keeping secrets which I hope the cast doesn’t forget because it could be nothing serious (like the high school drama happening with Skrank and the 7 maidens--maybe he’s just crushing on Gorgug who did full kiss him during Promocalypse) or it could be Serious Business that will blow up if the don’t stay on top of it. We’ll see.

Oh, almost forgot. Adaine wants an emotional support frog. Every time I think I can’t love her more.

Fig for Not Respecting Personal Boundaries

Fig goes full Emily right out the gate and, after finding out that Skrank (nerdy bird dude who apparently can get it) was not only dating Ostentasia (rich, popular dwarf) but also dumped her in pursuit of Danielle Barkstock (one of Ostentasia’s party members, the scandal), disguises herself as him with Danielle to figure out what’s going on. And, wouldn't you know it, when she gives herself away, Danielle immediately is shocked and appalled, as you would be, obviously. We also learn that she’s still catfishing Dr. Asha which is, how you say, for sure a crime. Fig, please, I’m begging you. Cease.

Alright, I spent a little too much time research for this one. Elevator, Lab Partner, McDonalds. Keith David (as Goliath), Ron Pearlman (Hellboy, but for the sake of argument, sure, when he was in Beauty in the Beast in like 1988), and Kevin Grevioux (probably as a werewolf, but he's also got that alien, Frankenstein, blah) I gave you the actors, you can pick the monster role. :D The theme was originally deep voices, but if they've all been monsters, so be it.

Oh. Oh. This is appealing to a very. VERY. specific aspect of my mind. But you already knew that.

Okay so... lock me in the elevator with Goliath. Please. Goliath is literally the origin of my monster-fuckery. I was in love with him. Is it reasonable to assume he will want out of the elevator and possibly make the situation worse trying to get out? Yes. But on the other hand maybe this is post-Zanatos-as-a-good-guy and he’s on the other side of the door like “We’ll get you out stay put” and Goliath will chill. Assuming Elisa isn’t in danger. Then there is no stopping him from going nuts. But if that’s how I die, that’s how I fucking die.

For Ron Perlman, I pick Hellboy. I’m not sure if you know this, but Hellboy II: The Golden Army is literally one of my top five movies of all time. I will definitely take Hellboy as my lab partner. Because it would be fucking hysterical. Is everything going to explode? Fuck yeah it is. Am I going to fail? Almost definitely. Do I care? Not one damn fucking bit because the look on everyone else’s faces will be f u c k i n g p r i c e l e s s.

Yeah so for Kevin Grevioux I’m definitely going with Raze from Underworld, just because I have the firmest memory of that role. I think he’d be a fairly decent training supervisor. He’s tough but not cruel (as long as you’re pack... employees kinda count as pack, right?) and I feel like he would not put up with customer’s bullshit. I’m all about managers who don’t put up with customer’s bullshit.

He likes your shoulder blades too and how most people might not see them but he gets too and it drives him wild.

B = Baby: do they want a family? why/why not?

He does but he's just worries ya know. He just doesn't want to pass on the werewolf gene but the thought of a little you running around just warms his heart. Maybe not a whole herd of children but like one cool baby? Yeah, that sounds good to him.

C = Cuddle: how do they cuddle?

Look, just accept the fact that you're going to be the little spoon. I mean, that's just gonna be the way it is. Remus seems like the sweet, shy type. But this mother fucker is dom as hell when it's personal. He ain't gonna be the little spoon if he doesn't have to so I hope you're good with that. Also, he loves your back so he's very into it being pressed against his bare chest.

Side note: If you happen to be shirtless against his bare chest? Boy is in heaven.

D = Dates: what are dates with them like?

Unexpected. You never know with him. From a distance you'd expect his brainy ass to take you to the bookstore or library or idk, something quiet.

Hell no. His spooky ass ends up taking you to the Forbidden Forest. At night.

You later discover it's because he can see in the fucking dark and he's comfortable there. He intentionally drug you out there just so you'd be scared and cling to him. You nearly strangled him when you found out.

E = Everything: “you are my ____” (e.g my life, my world…)

You're his drive to keep going. Real talk. Remus has a lot going on and sometimes it's too much for him. He's contemplated ending it all more than once. You keep him going. He loves you more than anything. But more importantly you help him see that HE'S worth it to HIMSELF.

F = Feelings: when did they know they were falling in love?

When you shoved Sirius in the lake for trying to steal a kiss. And then proceeded to lecture him about it....and made him apologize....to everyone he'd ever did it too.

G = Gentle: are they gentle? If so, how?

In everyday life, Remus is a sweetheart. Such a nice boy, according to your parents, lol. He's got a mischevious streak but he doesn't use it on you. Behind closed doors? Well, I done told ya. He's dom for life.

H = Hand/Hold: how do they like to hold? how do they like to hold hands?

Remus is more of an arm around your waist kind of guy. Ya know, he loves that back. However, he does enjoy when he wraps his arm around you and you place you place your hand over his. Makes him feel all the specials.

I = Impression: first impression/s

Well, you met when you were eleven and he honestly didn't think much of you. It's not your fault though. He was an eleven year old werewolf going to school for the first time. Poor kid was damn near having a heart attack.

However, three weeks later you showed him up in class and little Remus Lupin got his very first crush.

And then you lent him a piece of parchment and boy damn near floated right off his chair.

Been making heart eyes at you since.

J = Joker: are they into pulling pranks?

Look, everyone thinks it's all James and Sirius but you know better!

Remus is the brains most of the time and he's a fucking instigator. HE fucking starts it. And you know it. He claims innocence but he's the damn devil.

K = Kisses: how do they kiss?

Slowly and mind blowing. It always takes you a few seconds to open your eyes and get your head together. Lawd, Jesus.

L = Love: who says I love you first?

He did. He didn't meant to. I mean, he meant it a 1000% but he hadn't meant to say it at that moment. You caught him off guard with a surprise hot chocolate in the hospital wing and he let it slip. You tried to save him and acted like you didn't hear it when he panicked. But then he stopped and was like, "Actually, love. I do love you. I meant it. I mean, I didn't exactly planning on loosing it like that but I do love you. It's alright if you don-" "Remus Lupin, you shut your damn mouth. If you think for one second that I'm not hopelessly in love with you than I have sorely misjudged your intelligence." you snipped. He just grinned. "Stop smirking at me. Shut your face and drink your hot chocolate before I kick you." "Yes, love." You just rolled your eyes at him.

M = Memory: their favourite moment together

He quite enjoys the semester you were paired with Sirius for potions. It's relevant because you teased him during potions one day until he lost it and started sucking face halfway through. Slughorn ripped you two apart and paired you with Sirius for the rest of the semester.

You glared the whole semester and he thought you were the cutest fucking thing on the planet.

N = Nickel: do they spoil? do they buy the person they love everything?

He does but it's less with money and more with special things that actually mean something. Hand written excerpts from books he thinks you'll like. Little flowers he found on one of his walks. And a sweet or two knicked from the kitchens.

O = Orange: what color reminds them of their other half?

Green tends to remind him of you. Much in the sense that many people associate it with nature and new life, he associates it with you for the same reason. Being with you is natural to him and you constantly breathe new beginnings to his life.

P = Pet names: what pet names do they use?

Love, mostly. But occasionally he'll say sweetheart or darling.

Q = Quaint: what is their favourite non-modern thing?

Vintage books. Because of fucking course.

R = Rainy Day: what do they like to do on a rainy day?

Honestly. He likes to snuggle up with a good cup of tea or cocoa and read. You'll likely fall asleep and he's very content with the idea of sleeping on his chest while he reads his book.

S = Sad: how do they cheer themselves/each other up.

He cheers himself up by looking at pictures of friends, family and of course, you. It's a favorite.

He cheers you up by reading your favorite book that just so happens to be a children's book.

T = Talking: what do they love to talk about?

He always shares his recent reads but also he's quite fond of talking about possible pranks. I told you. He's the fucking devil.

U = Unencumbered: What helps them relax?

A massage does wonders for this boy. All that stress knots up in his neck and shoulders but you've got the magic touch.

V = Vaunt: what do they like to show off? What are they proud of?

As much as he hates being a werewolf, he'll admit that it has it's perks. He can see in the dark. His hearing is especially good. And though he doesn't do quidditch- Remus is actually a fucking fantastic chaser. He has no interest in joining the team but he's bomb as fuck at it. And he does enjoying showing out for you.

W = Wedding: when, how, where do they propose?

I could see Remus proposing in the middle of the night. You're curled up on his chest and it's pitch black. You're nearly asleep when he asks. You shoot up like a bolt of lightning and press your damn so face to his that he can feel your eyelashes on his cheeks. You demand he say it again. He does, a bit more nervously. And he almost died...because you nearly squeezed him to death. And also nearly ruptured his ear drums. Of fucking course you said yes. As if there were any other answer.

X = Xylophone: What’s their song?

"When A Man Loves A Woman" by Percy Sledge Everytime it comes on you can't help but stop whatever you're doing and sing. It was fourth year and you were the only two people in the common room. You made him dance with you. Poor boy could barely keep it together but now it's his favorite. He can't hear it without thinking of you.

au where werewolf!jaebeom meets grim reaper!jinyoung who somehow knows everything about him 🤩

b a c k g r o u n d i n f o 🍓

jaebeom is a half-breed werewolf. his dad was a hunter who met his mother while she was shifting and they somehow fell in love and had him

half-breeds are kind of shunned in the magic community because human blood is known as ‘contaminated blood’ hence jaebeom kind of hates everyone and rathers be alone. he has only an acquaintance at work, choi youngjae, who’s nice enough to try to socialise with jaebeom even though the older has shut everyone in the museum out

jinyoung is a grim reaper - not only for humans but for the magic community as well. it’s not common to be assigned to work for both and he knows he has to be some horrible criminal in order to be sentenced to such painful work

he only remembers bits and pieces of his past life, the main thing being a werewolf. that’s the reason why he’s been keeping an eye on jaebeom ever since he realised that a werewolf was in the same city as him.

they bump heads, literally, on the street

jinyoung, obviously, had planned it but jaebeom was an unsuspecting werewolf who was simply in a rush to go check out an art piece the museum was interested in purchasing

jaebeom is immediately suspicious when jinyoung recognises what he is

jinyoung, being oh-so cryptic, invites him to meet at a nearby library. it’s kind of where jinyoung lives ( imagine a place like the grim reaper’s in goblin, those hidden wall kind of things )

he disappears and leaves jaebeom with a note that jaebeom decides to stuff into his pocket and ignore

but ofc he can’t just ignore it so he caves in a visits a few days after

jinyoung is waiting there for him and sneaks up on him, resulting in jaebeom reacting in self-defence and pining him on the floor

they eventually move to jinyoung’s house and jinyoung reveals that he’s actually in need of jaebeom’s help. part of being a grim reaper ( in this au, anyway ) is to not only help souls pass over but to deal with any unnatural causes of death

recently, there’s been a serial murderer of some sorts on the loose and jinyoung has reason to believe it’s a werewolf or a pack of them

jaebeom obv looses his shit because he hates anything to do with his own kind and stomps out of there

‪jaebeom hates crowds. it’s all skin-to-skin contact with sweaty strangers, a cacophony of noises that send his senses into overdrive. it doesn’t help that his ears or nose are more sensitive than the average human being’s, nor does it‬ help that the upcoming full moon is making him even jumpier than usual.

using his broad shoulders and strength, he pushes his way through the crowd, ignoring the curses and glares he gets. he keeps his head hung low, his messy fringe creating a curtain over his eyes. still, he pushes through the sea of people until he can finally breathe in fresh air instead of body odour and musky heat.

the building he’s looking for is about another street down, about a good five minutes away, and the sweltering heat beating down on his back puts him in a worse mood than he’s already in. still, he trudges on with his hands stuffed deep into his pockets, eyes set on the gravel below him.

of course, not looking up has it’s obvious consequences, and it’s not long before jaebeom feels the tell-tale hardness of another head collide against his.

it happens in a split second. his sunglasses slide off the bridge of his nose and to the floor, pathetically clattering against the gravel. the man looks up at him and his pupils zero in on jaebeom’s exposed icy blue left eye, sending him into a state of alarm.

immediately, he reaches up to cover it with a hand, right eye still trained intently on the man’s expression. his hands are clasped around the spine of his book, a thick leather-bound book with scraps and markers sticking out of the side. his eyes are soft and round, pink lips pursed into a light frown which confuses jaebeom even more.

“watch where you’re going,” jaebeom growls, trying to distract the man from staring even more. the man says nothing, still. he bends down and picks up jaebeom’s glasses, calmly wiping the black lenses with his clean white shirt. holding it up, he frowns at jaebeom, who frowns back.

“aren’t you taking this back, werewolf? you need it to hide that eye of yours, don’t you?” the man asks as if it isn’t a big deal, as if it’s an every day topic.

jaebeom sputters, caught totally off guard. who is this man? “what the hell are you talking about?”

the mysterious stranger nods towards his covered eye, unimpressed with jaebeom’s effort in lying. “i know what your kind looks like, though i haven’t seen one so up close in a century,”

“a century...?” jaebeom trails off, hand slowly dropping from his face out of shock. how the hell is that possible? what the heck? unless...

“what are you?” jaebeom aggressively questions. the man shrugs, annoyingly nonchalant, as he takes jaebeom’s hand and presses the sunglasses into it.

“you’ll know soon enough. when the time comes, we’ll meet again. i’ve decided it,” the man says, a small, irritatingly knowing smile on his lips. he brushes past jaebeom in his surprised daze, disappearing into the crowd that jaebeom came from.

when he snaps out of it, he’s standing alone in the middle of the pavement, hand holding his glasses out like an idiot. he quickly puts them back on, mind snapping back to attention as he slowly goes over whatever the hell that was.

glancing back, his mind races with possibilities. another half-blood? or a pure? a fey, maybe? or a wizard. maybe a warlock, seems nosy enough to be one. maybe i could track him down. if only i had something left-

it was as if the man had known jaebeom would have turned to his instincts. on the floor, lay a sleek black card embossed with silver writing.

DON’T BOTHER SNIFFING THIS.

“wolf...boy...?” jaebeom mumbles, fingers running over the neat letters. it’s slightly warm as if fresh out of press, and jaebeom wouldn’t be surprised if this PJY dude had burnt it on the spot.

a part of jaebeom - his primal, savage wolf half - tells him not to do it because it could be a trap. the other part - the ever-curious human half - tells him to go dashing to the library right this instant to look for this man and demand answers.

instead of deciding because jaebeom loves being spontaneous and doing whatever the hell he likes, he shoves the card deep into his pocket and chooses to ignore it. he trudges on despite the nerves prickling at his spine, as if someone is watching him.

better to blend in than make a break for it. calm down, you can take him if he returns. just move along and ignore it, he tells himself.

but he can’t ignore it. for the rest of the day, the new prickly feeling of the edges of the card bugs him through his jeans, but he somehow can’t bring himself to throw it away. it feels heavy, like stone, way more than a stupid piece of card stock should be.

Derek Hale fluff alphabet

So this is my first fluff alphabet ever. I don’t know how this turned out, I think some parts are good and some parts are bad. I am sorry if there are any grammatical or spelling errors. Your opinion is always welcome! Enjoyy!!!

A - Attractive (what they find attractive)

He finds your smile and your kindness your most attractive traits. He often finds himself staring at your smile and seeing you happy instantly puts him in a better mood. Your kindness often leaves him wondering how someone can be so beautiful inside and outside, he finds it really fascinating how you can be good with people and how you can easily calm them.

B - Baby (do they want a family?)

Derek wants a family but just not yet. He wants to get to know you better and to make memories with you first and later when you are both ready you will talk about it. He would make sure not to rush you or push you to do something you are not comfortable with.

C - Cuddle (how they cuddle)

He surely has a very strong built and grumpy attitude (sometimes) but he still enjoys cuddling with you after long and hard day. If the night is cold he would wrap his arms around you and stroke your arms to warm you up then he would gently kiss your shoulder and wrap arms protectively around you as you lean head on his chest.

D - Dates (what dates with them are like)

Derek prefers to have a date with you in his loft or in some quiet and peaceful place where you can enjoy each other’s company.

E - Everything (you are my…)

You are his life.

You made his life filled with beautiful memories, love and happiness.

F - Feelings (when they realize that they love you)

At first he tried to brush off feelings he has for you but when he saw how caring and loving you are towards your friends he realized that he can’t push his feelings away as easily as he taught he could. At the end he ended confessing his feelings for you while holding your hand and blushing dark red while looking at the floor.

G - Gentle (are they gentle?)

Under his grumpy and “cold” facade lays the gentle and caring person. His gentle side always floats in whenever he is alone with you, he attacks your body with gentle kisses and warm hugs, sometimes even tickles you just to hear your laugh.

H - Hand/hold (how do they hold you? Do they hold hands?)

He holds hands with you often, especially in a stressful situation, he would squeeze your hand gently to show you that he is there for you no matter what and to let you know that he is there to protect you. He likes to lock fingers with you when you cuddle and gently stroke his palm over the back of your hand. When he holds your hand he can feel your heart beat and it usually helps him calm down when he is angry.

I - Impression (first impression)

When he first saw you he taught that you have a beautiful smile.

J - Joker (do they pull pranks?)

No, he is serious man and doesn’t like pranks or to prank you.

K - Kisses (how they kiss)

The way he kisses you depends on a situation and his mood. If he is in a good mood and you two are cuddling his kiss would be gentle and passionate, he would gently stroke your cheek and look into your eyes for couple of minutes and then his lips would lay on yours in a gentle kiss. But if he is in a bad mood or if he didn’t see you for few days his kisses would be a little rough (not that rough to hurt you) and possessive, he would wrap his arms around your waist to stop you from moving then his lips would met yours in a rough yet passionate kiss.

L - Little things (what little things they love)

He loves when you say him that you love him and the way you blush when he says that he loves you too.

M - Memory (favorite memory together)

His favorite memory is when you agreed to go on a date with him. He will never forget the way you hugged him and the way your eyes shined when he asked you out.

N - Nickel (do they spoil?)

Well he often buys you things such as sweets, food and little things you like but I don’t think he is the guy who will spoil you that way. He will spoil you with his attention.

O - Orange (what color reminds them of you)

Light pink or white, light colors because they resemble your gentle personality.

P – Petnames (what petnames they use)

He likes to call you “sunshine” mostly when you are alone or in front someone who is trying to flirt with you showing them that you are his.

Q - Questions (what are the questions they’re always asking?)

· “How are you sunshine?”

· “Do you need something baby?”

R - Remember (their favorite memory of each other)

His favorite memory of you is when he kissed you for the first time.

Your favorite memory of him is when you found him asleep on the sofa in his loft while cuddling stuffed wolf toy you gave him.

S - Sad (how they cheer themselves/others up)

He will try and push away sad memories away by running or working out. Seeing or going outside for a walk with you can also cheer him up.

He likes to cheer you up by hugging you and cuddling with you. He would make you tea or coffee and cuddle with you while you talk about the reasons for your sadness.

T - Talking (what they love to talk about)

He prefers to listen you talk about things you love, your day, movies/books/TV shows you like.

W - Why (reasons why they love you)

He loves you because you were the only one who seemed to be able cheer him up when he was sad or to calm him down when he was angry. You have unique personality and with you he feels much happier.

You are his soft girlfriend and his anchor because hearing your voice or seeing you helps him control his wolf side.

Z - Zebra (what pet they want to have)

He likes dogs especially big ones that are similar to wolves so he would like to have husky or maybe Alaskan malamute.
