Ok here me out! A time and dimension displaced Sam and Tucker! Who each lost their Danny +the other! Learned magic! (For Sam “normal or standard magic plus behaving the title of the Daughter of the Green) maybe she become the Dark Witch of the Green. And for tucker Pharaoh magic plus technology based abilities) both tried to avenge their friends and got labeled a villain for it!
So they disappeared into the ghost zone! Found the other. Learned that while they may not be the variant that they grew up with they’re still pretty close. And then realize if there’s time lines where they lost everyone….then they had to be at least one time line where A Danny survived but lost them. And have been hunting to find one since. Clockwork has had to constantly redirect these two so they wouldn’t find Dan pre redemption. As then Past Danny would have had no chance whatsoever!
But now that things are as stable as they’ve going to get. There’s a Jazz, Danny, Ellie and Dan( I vote he changes his name to Jordan as a tribute prior to Jazz showing up! Who then demands he keeps it so she’s not left out the the naming anymore! As well as a confused but supportive set of parents.
So they show up in all they’re dark glory and as soon as they see Danny (who doesn’t fight back because of shock) this leads to a chase that should end with Starfire finally showing up who has already read every text and update Dick has sent her.
Now the thing is Dark witch Sam and pharaoh tuck are messed up in the head. They both lost their Danny’s in different but equally tragic ways. So they’re border line Yandere’s at this point. (It can be romantic or platonic) So when they find out that this timeline has 2 Danny’s that have each lost and grieved their variants they HAVE to stay. Ok time to pull out the waterworks….
Finally they explain they’re from timelines/dimensions where they were the last person standing and got blamed and vilified for their grief over losing there loved ones. And that the original plan was find a Danny who has lost their variants and take him with them before anyone can hurt him like what happened in their timelines. But now that they see there’s a jazz, Ellie and a Jordan here they can’t possibly take him! They look up at Starfire. Who’s glaring at the 2 maybe villains holding her sons kinda hostage. (Kinda being the operative word as her sons are each desperately clinging to one.) but before she can try to get them to safety. They start crying.
W-we’re so SORRY! We just wanted to protect him because we were too weak to do it before! In their timelines Their danny’s got hurt really bad! Hell one timeline it was His parents who hurt him! But this isn’t what their Danny’s’ would have wanted they see that now! Please can they stay? They can be heroes! Help out they innocent! All for the low low price of not being separated from Jordan and Danny! Please! Just give us a chance!!!!!!!!!!!
Dick who has finally caught up really wants to say no. But Jordan abd Danny are clinging to them and flashing the most pathetic wet kitten eyes he has ever seen!!!!!!!!! He looks at his daughters who are also looking at him with teary eyes…..fine you can stay but your on thin ice understand! Both of you are going to under surveillance and he’s going to have since a magical contract that outlines the rules! (This won’t backfire….right?)
Thoughts!
Future Son????
It has been a while since I have done an original prompt. So DCxDP prompt #2
Danny gets into a fight with Impulse/Bart about Bart changing the timeline messing things up for Danny and effectively erasing his family, because the change made it so Maddie and Jack never got together. But because of Clockwork sending him on a mission to the past while Bart changed the timeline and the medallion Dan had phased into Danny he remembers the old timeline. Also he has access to his powers but for some reason can’t change into ghost form.
This fight happens in front of the rest of the young justice team. And Nightwing was coming there to teach a training lesson and over hears half of what Danny is shouting.
From Dick’s point of view there is a black haired, blue eyed kid with powers that are suspiciously like a Tamuraneans, yelling at Bart about losing his family because his parents never got together. Also Dick and Kori had recently broken up. (Feel free to make up a reason.)
Due to a misunderstanding Dick is going to help his time displaced “son” adjust to the new reality.

For Valentine's Event🫶🏽 Azul, Romantic [Sleepless by Dutch Melrose]
"Everything leads back to you" || Azul Ashengrotto
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐲 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞'𝐬 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭
𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠: Sleepless by Dutch Melrose
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭: 750
𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐬: Pining, Friends to lovers, Azul’s a little possessive
Tumblr media
Azul doesn’t know when it started—this pining.
Perhaps it was the first time you smiled at him, eyes crinkling at the corners, laughter bubbling from your lips so effortlessly while he stood there, stunned, trying to figure out how someone like you had walked into his life.
Or maybe it was the first time you defended him. The first time you stood in front of him like a shield, words sharp and unwavering, cutting down anyone who dared mock him.
Or maybe it had always been there, lingering beneath the surface, waiting for the right moment to take hold.
Either way, he knows one thing for certain—everything leads right back to you.
And it's driving him insane.
Every night, Azul lies awake in bed, staring at the ceiling, thoughts running in endless circles.
What if you wake up tomorrow and love someone else?
The thought alone makes his stomach churn.
You aren't his. Not really. You're friends—but not lovers. There’s something between you, something unsaid, something that sits heavy in his chest, making it hard to breathe.
But every time he sees you smile at someone else, every time he watches you throw your head back in laughter at someone else’s joke, every time he watches you slip through his fingers just a little more, his heart screams—
Mine.
Mine.
Mine.
And yet, he does nothing.
Because Azul Ashengrotto does not confess first. He does not put his heart on the line without guarantees. He does not chase after things he might lose.
But he wants you.
He wants you so badly that it hurts.
One night, he snaps.
"Azul?" you blink at him, confused as he stands in front of you, hands clenched at his sides, jaw tight. "What's wrong?"
"You tell me." His voice is sharper than intended, but he can’t bring himself to care. "What are we?"
You tilt your head, amused. "Friends?"
The word feels like a slap.
His grip tightens. "Just friends?"
A pause. You study him carefully, a flicker of something unreadable passing through your eyes.
"You tell me."
Azul hates how the words hit him, how they feel like a challenge. He hates how you look at him like that, like you already know the answer, like you’re just waiting for him to say it.
His pride wars with his desperation.
But then you take a step forward, so close that he can see his own reflection in your eyes. Your lips part, as if you’re about to say something—
And it’s over.
He caves.
"I'm Yours."
Your breath hitches. Azul swallows hard, hands trembling as he finally, finally says it.
"I've always been yours. And it’s driving me mad because I don't know if you’re mine."
A heartbeat of silence. His pulse pounds in his ears.
Then, you smile.
"You idiot."
And before he can process it, your lips are on his.
Soft. Warm. Real.
It takes him a second to catch up, to realize what's happening, to understand that this isn't a dream. His hands find your waist, pulling you closer, desperate to keep you there, to keep you from slipping away ever again.
And when you finally pull back, breathless, eyes shining, you whisper, "I've always been yours, too."
And Azul thinks—by some miracle, by some twist of fate, he’s won.
He still has sleepless nights.
Even with you curled up beside him, safe and warm, he still lies awake sometimes, watching you breathe.
His fingers trace the curve of your cheek, the way your lashes flutter slightly in sleep. His heart clenches.
Because even now—especially now—he’s terrified.
What if you wake up tomorrow and realize he's not enough?
What if you wake up and decide you want more—more than what he can give?
Azul has never been someone who trusts easily, and his fears have always been his greatest enemy.
But then you stir.
You blink up at him, sleepy and soft, frowning as you reach for him blindly. "Go to sleep, Azul," you mumble, voice thick with exhaustion. "You're thinking too much again."
Before he can respond, you press a drowsy kiss to his lips, barely a whisper of warmth before you nuzzle into his chest and fall right back asleep.
Azul freezes.
His heart feels too full, too warm, too much—
He exhales.
Closes his eyes.
Holds you just a little tighter.
And as he drifts off, he thinks—
Everything leads right back to you.

hello! could I request literally anything w chishiya x pregnant!reader? maybe how he (and the rest of the group) would take care of reader during and in between games? thank you sm!
Child of Hearts
Tumblr media
Chishiya x Pregnant!Reader
Summary: Chishiya takes care of you after you two have been separated from the rest of your friends.
A/N: Please request me more Chishiya i need this man so bad. I hope this is alright 🫶🏻 (mind you, i have never been pregnant myself so i might not know what the hell i'm talking about)
♤♡♧◇
Running away from a man shooting every person in sight with a huge rifle was a big challenge when you were 7 months pregnant. You didn't know what the gun was called, but when the bullet hit its target, it would basically cut your body in half. Hiding behind a car would be useless, as the car would be in pieces as well.
Running fast enough was already difficult, almost impossible, but your heavy stomach, bearing another human being, was making it a lot harder. It didn't take long to be out of breath and your legs were going to betray you any moment. Chishiya's hand was pulling you forward and you could barely keep up. He would soon have to drag your body against the ground, and then you'd both be dead.
This was it. You had played several games, somehow been able to beat them all with the help of your friends, which was a miracle itself. Especially without Arisu, Usagi, Kuina and Chishiya you would have died ages ago.
Before your pregnancy, you had been quite a fast runner and could run fast for a long period of time. Now? The total opposite.
Finally, you could sit down on the ground, leaning against a car. You had to only hope that the shooter had passed you and wasn't going to blow it up.
"You doing okay?" Chishiya looked at you with concern when you closed your eyes and threw your head back, breathing loudly.
"Yeah, yeah, i'm fine," you nodded, barely being able to talk. "Just can't run anymore."
Seeing a massive airship floating in the sky almost right above you, a large playing card hanging from it, you finally came into a conclusion what was going on.
"Well, he must be the King of Spades," Chishiya said next to you, leaning against the car.
Absolutely amazing - now the entire Tokyo was a game arena?
The shooting had stopped for a moment, but the shooter – or more specifically the King, should you call him – could come out from any corner at any second, surprising you completely.
Ann arrived with a car, telling all of you to hop in. However, Chishiya was left behind, because of a grenade that had been thrown between him and the car.
As were you with him.
♤♡♧◇
The others were gone now, driven away with the car. You and Chishiya were left alone to find a way to survive on your own. You were relieved to have Chishiya with you, he was extremely smart and knew how to survive different situations.
Previously many of your teammates had helped you, but now it was just the two of you. For a second you were slightly afraid that taking care of you alone would become too much to Chishiya if the King of Spades found you out of all people and started chasing you. You could tell that running with you was challenging to him.
You were starving, not remembering when was the last time you got proper food, and eventually found a small grocery store which windows had been shattered.
Chishiya started browsing for food while you waited, leaning against the counter. Soon, he came back with the most suitable and edible food he could find in this situation.
"Cash or credit?"
"Aren't you a little too pregnant to be working?"
"Don't underestimate me, Doctor Shuntaro," you teased him.
You pretended to scan each item like you had worked here for years.
"Thank you for shopping with us, please come again," you said with your best customer service voice.
"You definitely deserve the best worker of the month award," he praised you, almost impressed, and clapped his hands a few times.
"Finally someone gives my work credit," you said, hand on your chest.
There was a small table and two chairs by the window. You and Chishiya dragged them away from the window, so you could sit down in the back of the room and not be seen to anyone possibly walking past the store.
"Here you go," Chishiya said and offered you food and a plastic fork, along with a bottle of water, as you sat down. "It's not much but it's the best i got now without any electricity to heat it up."
"Thank you," you said quietly.
You ate in comfortable silence. You hadn't realized how dizzy you had started to feel after all the running and having not eaten or drank water in hours.
"Are you sure you're feeling alright?" Chishiya asked when he was finished with his meal and put his hand gently on yours, looking concerned.
"Yeah, i'm fine," you mumbled and stretched a little. "My back just hurts."
"Let's take a break and lay down for a while, okay?"
"But shouldn't we stay on the move? The King of Spades might come back and-"
"We'll be safe enough here for a while. Take a short nap, i'll keep an eye on the surroundings," he insisted. "You need more rest than me."
You were sleepy, so you weren't going to resist too much. You hadn't slept properly in a while.
Chishiya watched you sleep on your left side, your head on his lap to use as a pillow. You clinged on his leg with both of your arms, and he gently brushed your hair with his fingers to soothe you to sleep.
You were so beautiful, and he knew that he didn't say it to you often enough - as often as you would have deserved.
Chishiya was terrified every second of being in this world, having to play the games with you on his side. He wasn't afraid of many things, but you? If he lost you, he'd also lose your baby. His unborn child. And that was easily his biggest fear.
You had been in a relationship together for the past three years, and the pregnancy hadn't been planned, at all. Chishiya wasn't sure if he would ever want children, and when you told him that you were pregnant, he didn't know what to think. But it didn't take him too long to get used to the idea of becoming a father. And having you as the mother was everything he could have wished for.
You, however, hadn't considered becoming a mother at this age and had cried in the bathroom for an hour after seeing the two lines on the pregnancy test. Now, as the months had passed, you had gotten used to the idea of having a child and were more ready with Chishiya's constant support, who you loved and trusted with all your heart.
You just had to finish the rest of the games and hopefully, you could then return home - before you'd start delivering the baby.
♤♡♧◇
You entered a new game with Chishiya inside an old prison.
Jack of Hearts - Solitary confinement.
This was absolutely the ideal game for you, since all you could do was just chill and sit around until it was time to go into your little prison cell to announce the correct symbol on the back of your collar. And for that, you had Chishiya revealing it for you. As long as Chishiya was there for you, you had nothing to worry about.
People formed groups, telling each other everyone's symbols, so other people could confirm they were telling the truth.
"Hi," a girl in a blue dress greeted with an eager smile, approaching you. "Want to join our group?"
You glanced at Chishiya, unsure, but nodded your head.
"Sure, why not," you shrugged. Mom always told you to try and be more social.
Slowly, as the rounds went by, people started to lie and betray each other, which ended up more and more people being eliminated. This was a Heart's game, after all, it was supposed to mess with both your head and heart.
"Listen, let me worry about the game, you just remember your symbol and rest, okay?" Chishiya had said earlier, giving your hand a squeeze.
Chishiya had been eyeing the other people and trying to study any hints that could lead him to reveal someone as the Jack of Hearts. He hadn't told you much about his thoughts, probably still trying to decide his opinions on the players.
Right now, you sat at the table, looking towards the group which was sharing their symbols with each other. It was like watching a high school drama all over again, except now people were getting killed.
"Here," Chishiya said, sitting next you, and laid food on the table in front of you. "You need to eat."
He had grabbed two different kinds of crackers, a bottle of water, some orange juice, and a can of soup.
"I just did, i'm fine," you tried to refuse, even though you knew you could have eaten a little bit more. Chishiya just stared at you with no expression on his face.
"Yes, but you need to eat more, since you're eating for two," he insisted and wasn't having a 'no' for an answer.
You rolled your eyes, and he noticed it, giving you a look.
"Fine, fine, Doctor Shuntaro," you smirked.
After you had finished eating, you went to the bathroom again - you were sure you'd have to pee every hour. Washing your hands and your face, you heard someone arriving to the bathroom.
"Hello," a young girl greeted you nervously, taking careful steps towards you. "Sorry to bother you, but could you tell me the symbol on my collar? I don't really trust my group anymore and, well, you seem nice."
"Um, sure," you mumbled and looked at the girl's symbol. "It's a diamond."
"You sure?"
"I have fully functional eyes."
"Thank you so much," the girl said, giving you an excited smile.
You didn't bother to include yourself in that drama club and lie for no proper reason, you had decided to keep your distance to them since you didn't need help with your symbol. You doubted any of them would be the Jack, but who knew - the Jack could be a girl too, after all. If they started manipulating and lying to each other, that was on them.
A few more rounds passed, and you were starting to become really sleepy. By now you had been at the prison for 8 hours and you had no idea how much longer all this would take. Chishiya had been feeding you crackers and other snacks almost every hour, now that you had food available a lot easier.
You wondered if your friends were alright, though you knew all of them were strong and if they had survived this far, they must be able to handle anything. Still, of course you couldn't help but to worry.
You walked around the place and tried to search for a corner to take a quick nap, there was 36 minutes left until you had to go back to your cell.
Then, you had to stop walking when you felt sudden pain and pressure on your stomach. You let out a loud gasp, startling any few people nearby and make them look at you. You leaned against the nearest wall, so you wouldn't fall on the floor.
No, no, no, no. You weren't going to start delivering your baby a month or two early. Especially in the middle of the game where there was a time limit and a chance to be killed. Of course they wouldn't stop the game for a moment if there was a woman on labour.
Chishiya had heard you and instantly ran towards you. His eyes widened when you were holding your stomach in pain.
"Y/N? What's happening?" Chishiya asked, trying to hide his panic so you wouldn't start to freak out even more.
"I-I don't know," you mumbled and truly started to panic. "It just hurts. I don't know. Oh my god, Chishiya, I-"
"Okay, calm down. You're having contractions, it doesn't necessarily mean the baby's coming, okay?" he tried to reassure you, his hand on your cheek. "Look at me. Just breathe, take a deep breath."
You did as he told, taking deep breaths and squeezing Chishiya's hand every time the waves of pain took hold of your stomach. If this hurt, you didn't want to know how much it hurt to push the baby out of you - your pain tolerance was extremely poor.
"I can't do this, any of this, i'm-"
"Yes, you can, darling," Chishiya said softly.
After some time, it stopped. You sat on the floor, back against the wall, for the next twenty minutes, Chishiya holding your hand the entire time and gently rubbing your back.
"See? Everything's fine," he said calmly and put his arm around you, keeping you close against him.
"You know," you started, eyes starting to water. "I haven't felt any movements from the baby in a few days. What if something's wrong?"
"Listen," Chishiya said. "Contractions are normal, even when the baby won't come yet. The baby might not move every day, it's normal. You'll just have to stay calm and try to avoid too much stress. And i know that's a lot to ask for in our current situation."
You nodded, unsure, but trying to believe his words as well as possible. He was a doctor after all, right?
"Next round, we'll get you a place to sleep for a moment," Chishiya promised. There was 9 minutes left to announce your symbols.
"You know, when the baby will be born, we'll have a lot more different story on how the pregnancy went than other expecting mothers," you chuckled. "Like, not many moms can say that they've run away from a shooter while being on their third trimester of their pregnancy."
Chishiya smiled. "Or spent a day in a prison with no actual guards around."
An older man walked past you, still sitting on the floor, leaning against Chishiya.
"My God. Are you okay? How on earth have you survived this far being pregnant like that?" he asked in shock, surely seen the scene just a moment ago.
"Well, i've had a lot of help," you shrugged.
You had been used to people commenting on your pregnancy. Every time you met someone knew, they just stared at your stomach for too long, feeling bad for you and considering you the weakest player of the group. You stood out from the rest of the people around, it was understandable. At first it had bothered you, but now you were so tired of it you just felt numb.
Arriving to the Beach for the first time, the entire pool party had quieted down for a moment when people saw you.
"Here, it is required to only wear a swimsuit," they had announced, but looking at you, they let you wear more clothes. Thank god for that. You weren't exactly very fond of showing off your stretch marks and everything. You had been given shorts and an oversized t-shirt - it was the same shirt you still had on.
In the end of the current game, only four people came out from the cells alive, after the Jack had guessed the wrong symbol, and left the prison, two of them you and Chishiya. It had been the first game where you could have actually relaxed and sat back for a while.
If there had been a proper bed, you wouldn't have minded to stay a bit longer too.
"So, what now?" you asked.
"We'll try to find a place to spend the night."
It was becoming the night and you had been walking almost half an hour on the streets, trying to find a good place to hide and sleep.
You found a small hostel, completely abandoned and empty, and found your way into one of the rooms. The door was locked, but Chishiya could easily pick the lock open. You were able to sleep on a real bed again, you could have started crying from even the thought of it. The sheets weren't fresh at all and the blanket was really thin, but you couldn't complain.
You laid yourself on the bed, it felt so good to feel an actual mattress and a pillow under you, you felt like your body could melt there like a cotton candy in water. Chishiya came to lay down next to you after removing his shirt, warming you better with his bare skin. He cupped your cheek and pulled you in a sweet kiss.
Suddenly, you winced when you felt a kick inside your stomach. Chishiya immediately sat up, concerned.
"What's wrong? Did the contractions start again?"
You grabbed his hand and put it on your stomach, trying the correct spot to find any movements, and when he felt a kick right against his hand, he flinched and a smile spread on his lips.
You started laughing, with a few tears of relief and happiness, and he laughed a little too.
"We'll be alright," Chishiya whispered. He hugged you and kissed your forehead.
"I hope so," you said quietly.
"I love you," he whispered and looked you deep into your eyes. "You know that, right?"
"Are you saying that in case the King of Spades comes to shoot us in our sleep?" you teased. "Honestly, that would definitely be cheating."
"I doubt he's going to find us here," he assured you and pressed a kiss on your hair. "Good night."
"Good night," you answered and turned on your side. Chishiya's arm wrapped around your stomach, pulling you against his chest.

Tumblr media
“Maybe you should take tonight to rest instead of meeting up with your friends, pip-squeak. You’ve been coughing all day.”
Caleb phrased it like a suggestion but you took it for what is was. Some things never change and his bossy tendencies was one of them. You had no intention of staying in tonight, cold or not— you promised Kevi you would help him and Zayne was waiting for you to bring the boy to him so he could be smuggled out of Skyhaven before the fleet found him.
As much as you wanted to trust your brother, there was something nagging at you that he was a different Caleb than the one you grew up with. You weren’t sure whose side he would take— yours or theirs should it be found out that you are secretly suspicious of the Farspace Fleet and investigating them.
“You’re probably right,” you say, exaggerating a cough.
“I’m always right,” he teases. “Besides, Skyhaven is under lockdown tonight while the fleet conducts a clean up.”
He disappears further into the apartment and returns a few moments later with two white pills in the center of his palm. You eye the pills warily.
“Cough suppressants,” he reassures.
A weight leaves your chest. You must be feeling especially paranoid with the whole Mia and Kevi situation. You don’t trust the Fleet but Caleb would never put you in danger, despite what his orders were.
You truly believed that. He was just trying to look out for your well-being. Taking the cough suppressants would probably help with the worst of your symptoms tonight anyway.
“Thanks,” you accept the medication. Caleb watches you chase down the pills with a glass of water, a satisfied smile on his face. “Why the need for the lockdown?”
“I see you haven’t gotten any less nosy over the years,” he accuses playfully.
“And you haven’t gotten any less avoidant over the years,” you counter. Still, you continue to probe. “Is it classified?”
Huffing a laugh and shaking his head, Caleb cages you against the counter. His eyes dance playfully across your face, left hand coming up to cup your jaw. You find it a little odd, considering that he was right-handed but you quickly push it from your mind, heart racing at the feeling of his proximity. His thumb strokes your cheek, subtly checking your skin for a rise in heat to ensure you haven’t caught a fever. At least that’s what he tells himself, and it’s partially true, but really he just wanted an excuse to touch you again after nearly a year of missing the feeling.
“No, it’s not classified,” he eventually gives. It wouldn’t hurt to allow you this small bit of information. “A weird fluctuation in the tunnel is riling up the Wanderers. So teams are being sent out tonight to handle it. But it’s nothing you need to worry about because you’ll be resting. Right?”
Thankful for your years of training at the academy, you school your face though guilt wracks through you for the lie you were about to tell. Yes, you believed Caleb would always put your safety first, but you still didn’t know how involved he was in this situation with the kids. You couldn’t risk letting them down. If it turned out you were wrong and the Fleet really had their best interests in mind, then you would tell Caleb the truth once Kevi was out of Skyhaven.
“First of all, I’m a Hunter and eliminating Wanderers is my job. So of course it’s something for me to worry about,” you narrow your eyes defiantly.
The lop-sided smirk on his face only grows in amusement. He always got his entertainment out of picking fights with you and then making it up to you afterward. But things were different now. You were different now. You had to learn to survive without the safety net Caleb provided. He needed to take your job seriously and recognize that you were more than capable.
“Unfortunately though, you happen to be right about me needing to rest and get over this cough. I need to return to work next week and I would hate for a mild cold to keep me from my job.”
At the mention of returning to work, his face drops, lips pursing disapprovingly. Caleb never did like the idea of you going into such a hands-on, dangerous profession but Gran always kept him from interfering with your career too much. Now that she was gone, there wasn’t anyone to bat away the insane thoughts of keeping you locked up at bay. Truth be told, his reaction was less to do with your job now and everything to do with you leaving Skyhaven. Thankfully, those thoughts didn’t win out today as he nods, backing away and changing the subject.
The distance between you was back to feeling cold and empty.
“I need to get ready for my shift. I’ll make sure to say goodnight before I head out. Get some rest, pip-squeak.”
The way he went from hot to cold gave you the worst kind of whiplash. One minute he was playful and fun, and the next he was closed off and felt far away and unreachable, even more so than when he was “dead”.
You swallow down the painful lump in your throat as you watch the back of his white sweater disappear down the hallway to the guest room he had been staying in during your visit since you have been staying in his.
After going through your usual bed time routine so as to not make Caleb suspicious, you crawl into the large soft bed. Rolling over on your side, you cozy up to watch raindrops hit the floor-to-ceiling window as yet another storm dumps on Skyhaven. You had every intention of feigning sleep until Caleb left but somewhere along the way, your eyes grew so heavy that it was impossible to keep them open. You hadn’t even realized that you fell asleep and when you did, it was like being submerged in a warm, soothing bath that you couldn’t seem to come out of, falling into such a deep sleep that not even dreams or nightmares could touch you.

Many hours later, an exhausted Caleb returns home. He doesn’t even bother shedding his damp uniform, leaving the OTTO unit to clean up the trail of water left behind from his soaked boots. He only has one destination in mind after a long night cleaning up the streets of his city.
Caleb pushed open his bedroom door a crack. Peering from beneath the bill of his uniform cap, his eyes dart over your sleeping form. He takes a moment to admire the sight of you curled up in his bed, waiting for him to return home from work. It was something he spent his entire adult life dreaming of and now it was a reality, even if wasn’t of your own doing. Very little was when it was left up to him.
He was trained to sus out lies in interrogation rooms and could read you better than a book. After all these years, you still had the same tells though you had gotten better at concealing them. To anyone else, you likely would have been the perfect little liar but he knew your face and your body language better than anyone, despite what your new little boyfriends thought.
Yeah, he knew about them.
It was his job to know things and above everything else, you were always his first priority of business. He had continued to keep a close eye on you after his recovery post-explosion. Even if the professor hadn’t assigned you to his charge as a secret mission, Caleb would have done it regardless. His Colonel rank only gave him more resources to keep tabs on you, even if that meant occasionally having to destroy certain types of evidence to keep you safe. There were some places you went where he wasn’t able to keep watch— the N109 Zone, specifically. But it didn’t take long for the Onychinus leader to show his face in Linkon City.
Sylus may have been wealthy and full of resources competing with his own that kept his identity unknown to most other government and military entities, but he was difficult to ignore when he started showing up everywhere you went in Linkon. Wasn’t exactly subtle in the way he was pursuing you, touching you like you belonged to him.
But he would be dealt with later.
Out of all of your admirers, there was one in particular that set Caleb’s teeth on edge and that was his former best friend.
It was no secret that Gran always pushed you and Zayne together which is why Caleb invited him into your bedroom in the first place. He wanted to make sure that Zayne understood the only way he would ever get to have you was because Caleb allowed it. For years, it would seem that he received that unspoken message, never making a move on you beyond the permission Caleb directed in those intimate moments. It didn’t take long for the doctor to take advantage of your loneliness though, to swoop in and be your shoulder to cry on in his absence.
If any of your boyfriends deserved the Farspace Colonel’s wrath, it was Zayne.
This was personal.
Now that you knew the truth of Caleb’s life, there was no reason to continue to sit back and watch those four continue to take what was his. You didn’t need anyone else when you had him.
Caleb pushed the thoughts of those other men out of his mind, not wanting to spoil this rare moment he had to watch you in person again, comfortable and pliable in his sheets.
Just like when you were younger, the blanket was tossed to the side with one leg in and one leg out like your body couldn’t decide whether it was hot or cold. This gave Caleb a view of your body, his familiar oversized aviation tee that you had stolen years ago covering you. He can’t believe you still had it, and wore it regularly by the look of the thinning material. It rode up your torso, teasing a view of your stomach. The temptation to keep his hands to himself is impossible as a leather gloved finger traces the hem of your sleep shorts.
Caught in his thoughts, he’s thrown back to your sophomore year of college. He was in his last year of pilot training but made the trip from Skyhaven to Linkon as often as he could to see you. One particular weekend, he surprised you with with a visit and you surprised him with a positive pregnancy test. He was over the moon, thinking of the best way to break the news to Gran and trying to convince you to finally let him put a ring on your finger. Not that he needed your permission because he wouldn’t accept no for an answer, but hearing you say yes of your own accord would be ideal.
Yes, you were both young but he’s loved you for as long as he could remember and spending your lives together was always the plan. Not to mention, he’s been looking for a way to convince you to stay out of the Hunter’s Academy for years— a baby was the perfect reason to keep you off of such a dangerous career path. You didn’t need to risk your life when he would always be there to take care of you. Both of you.
That all came crashing down when you miscarried just a few days later.
He was devastated.
You were relieved.
Your relief broke his heart and made him angry, feeling like he was grieving the loss of your baby alone but he would never expect you to carry the burden of his pain so he kept it to himself. Regardless, he hadn’t let go of his plan for your life together; the timeline would merely be pushed back a little. He’d been patient for years at this point. A couple more wouldn’t hurt.
That was, until the explosion that left him dead to the world and confined to a bed during his recovery. For a while, he let go of that silly dream, content to watch you live your life from afar while he kept you safe from the clouds above. But now that you knew the truth and were back in his life, he felt a flicker of hope return.
Pushing the t-shirt further up your body, he hunches over to press a trail of soft wet kisses across the skin, imaging what you’ll look like swollen and heavy with his baby.
“I’m going to put another one inside you one day,” he continues peppering his lips over your stomach then resting his forehead there as his cap rolls off his head to land on the mattress. “This is my vow. As soon as I deal with the professor and we’re both safe, we will finally have the life we were always meant to, pip.”
You begin to stir under his touch, the feeling of his soft damp tendrils brushing your skin, tickling you even so deep in your sleep. The soft gasp of his name on your sleepy lips is enough to make him harden uncomfortably in his uniform pants, the starchy material leaving very little growing room. He can’t help but to bury his face in between your legs, inhaling the familiar scent of you with a shudder. It’s enough to leave the rational part of his mind behind, the last shred of his self-control slipping since your arrival as he pulls your sleep shorts down and tosses them to the side along with his jacket and gloves.
Caleb palms himself through the now unbearably tight pants before unzipping them for some relief. Kneeling back onto the bed, he carefully shoulders his way between your thighs, admiring the sight of your beautiful pussy and inhaling you again, feeling a sense of home for the first time in nearly a year. The temptation was too much to resist.
Just one taste.
That was all he needed to get by until he could convince you that this is where you belonged.
With him.
Knowing you wouldn’t wake up with the pills he fed you earlier, he flicks out his tongue to lightly spread your folds, teasing himself with the hint of your comforting flavor. He hadn’t completely lied about the nature of the pills— they would certainly heal up that cough of yours but would knock you out for a solid 12 hours before you came out of it. They basically put the consumer into a temporary coma to encourage a quickly healing process. The medication was not available for public consumption, reserved only for fleet members who needed a quick recovery but his rank gave him access that most others did not have.
Earlier, he had felt guilty for deceiving you but reminded himself that you were lying about staying in to rest and likely intended to sneak out once he was gone. He couldn’t have you wandering around Skyhaven alone at night without his protection. Not to mention, he never would have been able to do this if he hadn’t pushed you to take the medicine.
Your flavor explodes on the tip of his tongue, causing his hips to jerk into the mattress as he throws your legs over his shoulders to deepen his kiss to your center. Licking through the seam, he seeks out your clit, teasing and sucking it between his lips until you’re swollen and slick, gushing around his mouth with sleepy sighs and moans as you came on his tongue. Even if you wouldn’t remember it, he needed to make you orgasm, missing the feeling of you falling apart beneath him as if a piece of himself had been missing for ten long months.
This was the most alive he’s felt since he died.
Rising to his knees, chest rising and falling in heavy pants with your essence coating his chin, Caleb pulls his hard cock free. His head falls back in ecstasy as his hand cradles his girth. With you lying there and the lack of feeling in his right hand, he could almost pretend you were the one tugging on it, bringing him to the brink.
“Fuck, pretty girl. Missed you so damn much,” he pants, left hand climbing up your soft thigh to thumb your slick clit again. He had always been addicted to touching you, but now it was like going on a bender after getting sober and he couldn’t get enough.
Surprising himself with the quickness of his orgasm, he spurts all over you with a pained groan. Ropes of white coat the inside of your thighs and stomach, and he can’t tear his eyes away. When there’s nothing left to give, he slumps down, admiring the sight of his claim. Heart pounding in his chest, another intrusive thought invades his mind, bouncing off of the walls of his skull until he gives into the compulsion. Scooping the spend up with his fingers, he carefully stuffs you full of it, your pussy sucking them in like it was welcoming him home.
Slicking back his damp hair, Caleb feels like the storm clouds of his mind have been temporarily settled, allowing him to think clearly again. Guilt once again floods him as he thinks about what he’s done, always at war with himself when it came to you. He busies himself with cleaning you up and redressing you, ensuring to leave no tangible evidence of what he had done behind. Only the knowledge that he had left a piece of him behind for you to take back home with you.

˖ ࣪✦ thanos/su-bong x fem reader nsfw (mdni)
su-bong’s busy ruminating over what nam-gyu gave you that he couldn’t. but you want to prove to your boyfriend that you’ve never regretted anything more.
c/w: dark content! cheating, angst, toxic relationship (manipulation, guilt-tripping), drug use, blowjob/handjob, choking, lowk sub thanos a/n: a sequel to this fic <3 for my thanos lovers who felt bad
Tumblr media
su-bong hadn’t shifted from the bed as soon as you guys got home.
nam-gyu decided you leave the bathroom first - it was his place after all, he could be elsewhere. your heart in your throat, you had found su-bong already awake on the couch.
he said he’d been waiting for you. as your resolve fell to your ass, he added that he was impatient to go home.
was that really all?
maybe he’d been half-asleep and thought he dreamt hearing anything. maybe he didn’t hear anything at all. maybe.. he did.
then why? why did he still drive you home in silence, eyes trained on the road when he’d usually risk your lives checking you out in the passenger seat. why did he head straight to bed and collapse there without a word?
but most worrying: why was he sober?
if he knew, you thought surely he’d be stuffing his face with any substance he could get his hands on. but he was just laying there. unmoving, unexpressive. silent.
it scared you more than if he was actually off his rocker - punching the wall and smashing glass.
when you’d walk around the room, he’d just watch you with empty eyes, his lips pressed into a firm line.
for hours during suffocating silence, su-bong twitched and shivered. he didn’t use anything to take the edge off. for an addict, he was being eerily collected if he really just found out you cheated with his best friend.
of course he did.
su-bong’s guard was permanently up when you and any other male were in the same vicinity - especially his sleazy best friend, nam-gyu.
you were fucking smoking, he knew well that even once you were his, it wouldn’t stop guys from drooling at your feet. who wouldn’t anyway for his gorgeous girl?
it’s why he pulled nam-gyu up on it every time. he knew that nam-gyu was looking, hell even touching, while su-bong was right fucking there.
su-bong let you join their smoking sesh with great reluctance, fully considering nam-gyu’s intentions with you. he wouldn’t let you out of his sight.
until you were already.
and suddenly the room’s dim, the couch is empty, and su-bong has no idea how long he’s been asleep, and where the fuck you or nam-gyu are.
he knew it when he heard you. of course he did. how couldn’t he recognise the sweet sounds of his girl?
su-bong’s blood was boiling. you sounded so fucking sexy, but his stomach was in knots: it wasn’t him.
he knew nam-gyu couldn’t keep his cock in his pants around you - it was only a matter of time before he snatched you from him. or rather, lost you to him?
su-bong was conflicted.
on one of his tatted hands, he held the option to take back what belonged to him: he could pin you to the floor, and fuck you senseless until the only name you could say was his.
and on the other hand, he could crawl around shitty clubs, downing any hard liquor he could find and chucking back pills in all the colours of the rainbow until he couldn’t feel anything.
but none of his options could make you his again. now any high didn’t matter.
his mind played back every high he’d chase and how he hurt you. each time you begged him to stay home for once just for him to fuck off anyways. he’d stumble through the door at ungodly hours of the morning, eyes blown wide open and scarlet.
each time you scolded him for his drug vice, arguments ending in screams and tears. belongings would litter the floor, thrown during his rage. his knuckles bloodied while he sobbed that he’d change.
each time you shoved him away when he was coked out of his brain and practically eating your face. he’d fuck you while you knew damn well he couldn’t even feel his dick. he just needed you so bad, can’t you see how you drive him crazy?
after every comedown - despite all the crying, all the yelling till his voice gave out - you didn’t leave him. never once.
su-bong couldn’t get shitfaced at a bar and look forward to coming home to you, his perfect girl. tears in your worried eyes, holding him like you thought he was gone for good this time. if su-bong left right now, you’d forget all about him with nam-gyu’s cock in your mouth.
how could you do him like this? nam-gyu? he so badly wanted to believe you couldn’t have consented to that. but deep down, he just knew.
he knew he was a fuck-up. he knew nam-gyu was out to get you. he knew you’d eventually find better, someone who wasn’t just a mess for you to clean up.
“su-bong?”
your voice was even, careful. a test.
treading the waters, you sat on the bed next to him. he noticed your caution not to touch him. there was a thin gap of air between your bodies.
“you feeling okay, love?” an offer. from you to him: are we acknowledging this? are we ignoring it? su-bong thought, and minutes passed before he realised you weren’t going to say anything before he does. you don’t know if he knows.
su-bong didn’t even realise he had tears streaming until you softly swiped them away with a finger. he leaned into your touch, and your palm opened to cradle his face.
he was putty in your hand. su-bong sobbed quietly, pulling you in by your waist to hold you to his body.
he enveloped you in his long arms. if you were going to shove him away and leave, he’d have felt your warmth one last time.
you let him cry in the crook of your neck. when he looked up at you, all the air left his lungs. your face held so much guilt, so much shame - you’d seen the exact same face before on his own.
this was all his own fault. you wouldn’t of run into nam-gyu’s arms if su-bong didn’t shove you first.
“has it happened?” he choked out in between sobs. “did i lose you this time, baby?”
“su-bong..” you threaded your fingers softly through his hair. he was looking to you for an answer like it meant his life. “..i’m sorry.” you could only murmur.
su-bong broke down in wails. the time his empty promises had bought were finally up.
he was grabbing you all over. grabbing anywhere his hands could reach. grabbing anywhere nam-gyu must’ve tainted you. through his tears, he was quietly repeating ‘please’.
please what, he didn’t even know. but you answered in kind.
he shivered when you pressed your lips to his temple. and again, when you trailed your way to his cheek, and then over the line of his jaw.
su-bong was melting in your touch. another kiss to his neck, and his breaths were coming out heavy.
with two hands flat on his chest, you gently guided him to lay down, with you on your knees above him. he forgot how to breathe when you lifted his shirt and planted a kiss on his bare chest.
whines shamelessly spilled from his mouth as you trailed down his torso, swirling your tongue and taking the skin between your teeth. he couldn’t help but twitch at your touch, hips bucking into your chest - he was begging for any warmth.
dragging your tongue across his v-line, your chin brushed over his erection, eliciting a groan from su-bong. you looked up at him with curiosity. he’s sure the look he returned was full of desperation.
your eyes trailed off in thought. “i thought you wouldn’t want my touch.”
he grabbed a fistful of your hair. his chest was rising with pants. “of course i do.”
you lay a careful hand over his bulge. he bucks into your touch.
“do you still want me, honey?”
su-bong means to just say ‘yes’, but his mouth doesn’t coordinate with his thoughts: “fuck, yes baby, please-” his voice is almost whiney as the words tumble out of him. “babe, come here- i need you,”
your palm rubbed at him steadily, spots of pre-cum blooming on the front of his pants. he couldn’t keep his hands to himself, and snatched your wrist to drag it underneath his waistband. he threw his head back with a moan when your fingers wrapped around him.
you pulled his pants down to beneath his balls. su-bong’s pelvis was bucking into the hand around his dick, greedy for any friction. you swiped your thumb over his tip and his eyes were rolling.
you kissed his tip so sweetly. it was all that prepared him for you taking his dick fully into your mouth.
his hands were needy, grabbing at your face, your hair. you kept a hand wrapped at the base of his dick, following your mouth in strokes as you sucked him.
su-bong was a wreck. his face was still wet with tears, and now his voice was cracking with wails. he almost forgot why he was even upset.
you had a tight grip and an unforgiving pace. your tongue swirled up and down, your fist stroked and turned. with his eyes screwed shut, su-bong was already seeing the blinding white.
your mouth pops off him, and you crawl up to crash your lips onto his. he could barely return kisses with the noises shamelessly falling from him. your wrist
“you didn’t lose me, baby.” your wrist was twisting while you jacked him, in between the disruptive rhythm of his thrusting hips.
he snatched your neck into his hand, and you squeezed his dick in return.
“you’re still mine?” he panted.
his face crumpled when your hand rode up to just stroking the tip, palm gliding over his frenulum. as if he wasn’t at the tipping point from the start, su-bong didn’t have much longer. he wanted to cum in you.
“baby, i need you-” his words were half-whines. “let me fuck you, ah fuck- please,”
“but i’m dirty.”
“i don’t, ugh-” in protest, you fisted him at an unforgiving speed.
his dick was throbbing, and your kiss to his lips broke any resolve that remained.
his eyes screwed shut as he came. his whole body tensed and trembled, all he could feel was the warmth of your hand riding up and down. any words became wails from his mouth. you planted sweet kisses to his nose through his orgasm. he felt the warm ropes of cum falling onto his pants and stomach.
you lightly squeezed his tip as your hand moved off of him, a sharp moan coming from the back of his throat. su-bong’s whole body was light and hazy. you smiled.
you moved to stand, but he grabbed your wrist.
“wait, just give me a minute. i wanna fuck you.”
you sighed. “i’m not..”
“baby, i need you.” he cupped your face in his hands. “you’re still my girl. always.”
it didn’t matter what the fuck he got up to when he was tweaking at some shitty club - su-bong always came back home to you.
and whatever the fuck you did at nam-gyu’s.. you still came home too. (he came in your hand, even.)
he pulled you into an embrace with his arms wrapped around your shoulders. he doesn’t want to know what you did, or what you’ll keep doing. as long as he still gets to call you his.

Pairing: Dick Grayson x Female Reader
Words: 1,5k
Plot: Nightwing comes home starving, but it's not the food on his mind ✨
CW: 18+, established relationship, smut, oral sex, overstimulation, teasing
Dick drops to his knees like a man on a mission, eyes burning with hunger as he tugs your panties down and spreads your legs. His hands, still gloved, grip your thighs, keeping you exactly where he wants you—wide open for him.
The dark blue of his Nightwing suit clings to every muscle, every flex of his body a reminder of just how tightly coiled his need is. He doesn't bother with teasing, doesn't waste time—his mouth is on you before you can even take your next breath.
And fuck, he eats like he's been starving for it. Maybe because he has been.
His tongue flicks over your clit, sharp and relentless, before dragging through your slick folds, tasting everything you have to offer. A deep groan rumbles through him as he sucks at your clit, the vibrations making your legs shake. His hands keep you pinned in place, his grip firm but reverent, like he needs this, needs you.
"God, baby—" your head tilts back, thighs trembling against his hold. "Always so fucking good for me."
He hums against you, shoving two fingers inside your greedy cunt, fucking them in deep as his tongue works over your swollen, aching clit. He's got you on edge in minutes, pushing, pressing, curling—like he knows exactly how to pull you apart.
And he does.
The orgasm builds sharp and hot in your core, a coil twisting tight, every flick of his tongue drawing you closer to the edge. His fingers are relentless, fucking you open, stretching you, dragging against that perfect spot until your thighs tense, your back arches, and you break, fingers tighten in his dark, messy hair.
It slams into you, a rush of white-hot pleasure that has your hips rolling against his mouth, chasing every last wave. He loves it, moans like he's the one cumming as he keeps his mouth locked to your clit, working you through it, not stopping, never stopping.
Your mind is spinning, your body too sensitive, too hot, but he doesn't give you a second to catch your breath.
He adds a third finger, stretching you wider, and you feel it—the way he groans against your cunt, how he shifts like his dick is aching inside his suit, straining for relief. He loves you like this, loves making you fall apart, pushing you past what you think you can handle.
The second orgasm crashes over you faster, sharper, your entire body seizing up as pleasure floods your senses. It's overwhelming—so intense that it borders on too much, your nerves sparking like live wires, every muscle tensing as the pleasure crests and breaks over you.
Your breath stutters, coming in ragged gasps as your fingers curl into the sheets, legs trembling, your body unable to do anything but take it—all of it—the pleasure still pulsing through you in hot, unbearable waves. Your voice catches, somewhere between a sob and a moan, utterly wrecked, utterly gone, shaking beneath his hold.
And he still doesn't stop.
"D-Dick, I—"
"You got one more for me, my love," he rasps, voice thick with need, his lips and chin shining with your slick. "C'mon. Give me another."
You whimper as he flicks his tongue over your clit, soft, teasing, while his fingers curl just right, hitting that sweet spot over and over. Your body fights it, too sensitive, too much—but fuck, he makes it feel so good.
His fingers sink deep, fucking into your cunt at a relentless pace, wet and obscene, the slick sounds of it mixing with the lewd slurps of his mouth on you. Every thrust is deliberate, each stroke pressing against that spongy spot inside you, dragging pleasure out of you even as your body trembles from overstimulation. You try to squirm away, to close your legs around his head, the pleasure too much, too sharp—but he won't let you.
His free hand presses against your inner thigh, keeping you wide open for him, holding you still as he works you open, stretching you out with three thick fingers. He groans into your cunt, lips wrapping around your clit as he sucks, flicking his tongue over the swollen, throbbing bud, the sensation shooting straight to your core. Your body shakes, twitching beneath him, teetering on the edge—again.
"Can't, baby," you gasp, your voice breaking, but he doesn't stop.
He hums against your clit, the vibration sending another sharp jolt of pleasure through you. His fingers press deeper, curling, twisting, fucking into you so good you don't know where the pleasure begins or ends. Your walls clench around his fingers, gripping him tight, your body betraying you, giving in even as you try to fight it.
You're going to cum. You know it. He knows it. And fuck, he's going to drag you over that edge whether you think you can take it or not.
Your third orgasm is blinding, a desperate, choked-out cry leaving your lips as pleasure wracks through you, your cunt clenching down hard on his fingers. Wetness drips down, slick and messy, proof of just how wrecked you are, how he's undone you completely.
And fuck, he loves it.
His dick is throbbing, leaking precum like crazy, the tight press of his suit unbearable against the ache. He's painfully hard, desperate for relief, but he doesn't stop, doesn't even think about it—because this?
This is everything. The way your body shudders, overstimulated and twitching, the way your cunt clenches around his fingers like you're trying to milk them, sucking him in, even though you're trembling from how much he's pushed you.
He moans against you, lips still latched onto your swollen, throbbing clit, flicking his tongue in slow, lazy strokes just to watch you squirm. He knows it's too much, knows you're oversensitive, body wracked with aftershocks, but fuck, he could eat you out for hours if you'd let him. If you begged him to. If you grabbed his hair and whimpered please.
His fingers are soaked, glistening in the dim light as he fucks them into you, slow and deep, savoring the way you pulse around him. He groans, rutting his hips against the mattress, chasing even the smallest bit of friction, but it's not enough—not even close.
He wants to be buried inside you, wants to feel your cunt squeeze around his dick just like it is around his fingers, but he holds back because this? This is better. Watching you fall apart, watching your body shake, your breath come in short, broken gasps, your voice hoarse from moaning his name.
Your body shakes, your breath stutters, and all you can do is feel—the way he works you through it, the way he moans like he lives for this, like there's nowhere else he'd rather be.
And he knows—knows you can't take another, not right now. As your body still shudders in the aftermath, you feel it—the hard press of his cock against his suit, straining, leaking, aching for you.
"Need it," you murmur, breathless, reaching for him. "Need your dick so badly, baby. Please."
Dick makes a move to strip, but you stop him, pushing him down onto the bed, straddling his lap. Your fingers work fast, freeing his cock from his suit, letting it slap against his stomach—thick, flushed, soaked with precum, sticky strings of it smearing against his abs. He's so fucking hard, so desperate, twitching in your grasp.
"The suit stays on tonight, baby," you whisper, dragging the head of his cock through your soaked folds, making a mess of him, mixing your slick with his precum.
You roll your hips, teasing, watching the way his jaw clenches, his hands gripping your thighs like he's trying to hold himself back.
He groans, deep and wrecked, his fingers digging into your flesh. "That's fine by me, doll, but you better not tease."
But you do—just a little—pressing the tip inside, feeling the way he throbs for you, desperate, needing more. His breath stutters, hips twitching up, but you keep him there, hovering, stretching you open just enough to feel it.
Then you sink down, taking him all at once, all of him, and the noise he makes is guttural, a deep, broken moan punched out of his chest as your cunt swallows him to the hilt.
"Fucking shit," he groans, head falling back against the pillows, fingers tightening on your ass, spreading you wider, making sure he's balls deep inside your needy cunt.
You gasp, nails biting into his chest through the suit, because fuck—he's thick, stretching you wide, every ridge of his cock dragging against your sensitive walls, sending another sharp pulse of pleasure through you.
His hands flex, hips rolling up, grinding deep. "Feel that, baby? Feel how fucking deep I am?"
You moan, hands gripping his wrists, barely able to breathe. "So full, baby. Feels so good—"
And he's already moving, already pulling you into it, guiding you into a slow, grinding rhythm that has your clit rubbing against the slick, hot mess between you.
He's not gonna last—not after everything, not when you're still soaked, still trembling around him, gripping him like you don't wanna let go. But he's gonna make sure you cum on his cock first.
And the night is just getting started.

More Phaidei Fics I Want to Read
1. Obligatory "fish out of water" fic (mostly AU because the timeline would probably not match canon, but we do what we want here!), taking place after Mydei and the Kremnoans first make it to Okhema. Okhema is already harsh on outsiders, let alone on a conquering "barbarian" tribe infamous for bringing strife to so many other city states. Mydei doesn't know the local customs at all, and while he doesn't care the slightest about how these pathetic Okhemans see him, the trouble he keeps getting into is affecting the reputations of innocent Kremnoans too. He's got to find a way to blend in, at least enough to stop costing his fellows any chance of finding paid work... Too bad the only person who is willing (and has time) to help is Phainon (who isn't native to Okhema either but done a much better job of learning to get along with the locals). The guy thinks he's the Titans' gift to Amphoreus just because he beat Mydei in a duel once. It was only once! And why does it matter whether we eat standing up or lying down? What are you laughing at, Savior Complex?! Or, tl;dr: The culture clash comedy one where Phainon and Mydei teach each other entirely opposing sets of manners, and come to learn a lot more about one another in the process.
2. Also obligatory omegaverse where Mydei is an omega born with a unique constitution: he's built like an alpha, snarls like an alpha, and dominates his opponents like an alpha. He even smells like an alpha, especially when he's in heat, so the only people who ever figured out his secondary gender were his doctor and his parents, all of whom are dead now. The whole world thinks Mydei is an alpha, and his reputation as an indomitable warrior prince pretty much hinges on people continuing to believe that. The problem is, Mydei wouldn't actually mind getting to live an omega's life, at least the part about finding a mate and starting a family. Only, who in the world would want him for a mate? Any alpha hunting for an actual omega would never think to look in Mydei's direction, betas would just be confused, and even those few alphas who are attracted to other alphas would only end up disappointed after discovering Mydei isn't one. He's nobody's ideal partner, and he'd mostly made peace with that--until Phainon. Until that upstart alpha from the middle of nowhere knocked Mydei down in a brutal spar and then pulled him up with the gentlest hand, and suddenly it mattered that no one would ever want Mydei. It mattered a lot. (Of course, the long and short of it is that Mydei is the man of Phainon's dreams, and after a series of setbacks and miscommunications and lots of silly angst, they'll find their way to a happy ending.)
3. After discovering Mydei's weakness for sweets and cute things like pink pomegranate juice, Phainon decides to engage in a bit of light-hearted teasing: He starts sending Mydei exceedingly adorable gifts and fancy candies under the guise of a "secret admirer." The joke is on Phainon, however, when it turns out Mydei finds the gifts quite charming and is determined to discover the identity of the mysterious gift giver. A reasonable person would quickly give up on the joke to avoid getting caught, but Phainon has always been weak to chasing thrills--and maybe this whole thing about being Mydei's "secret admirer" isn't too far off after all... (The real joke is that Mydei, realizing immediately who the gifts were from, invented an entire "hunting my admirer down" story just for the fun of watching Phainon squirm--and, well, because keeping the whole thing going, being showered with attention by his rival, doesn't feel too bad at all.)
4. The opposite fic: The one where Mydei's completely mismatched online personality accidentally catfishes Phainon and causes some very silly drama. Mydei's (anonymous) teletweet account is full of cutesy chimera kitten memes, aesthetic pictures of food, heart emojis, and overly punctuated (with exclamation points) recaps of shopping trips in Okhema's market... Can anyone blame Phainon for thinking this is the account of a cute girl who is refreshingly earnest about her love for chubby seals and pink milk tea? But as Phainon becomes closer and closer to "Fig Stew" online, things get more and more complicated--because he's also been getting closer and closer to his real world companion Mydeimos lately. Both Fig and Mydei are wonderful, and Phainon can barely bear the thought of losing either of them in his life. Trying to get closer to them both would be way too dishonest, but choosing one over the other... What should he do? Meanwhile, Mydei is in trouble. He wasn't planning to set up some secret identity or anything; it's not his fault Phainon mistook him for a girl online! There's nothing weird about dudes posting sparkling kitten gifs, godsdammit!! But now the charade's gone on way too long to come clean, especially since Phainon seems so invested, and... well, can you blame Mydei for not wanting to give up on the closest thing to a relationship he's ever managed to start? tl;dr: Online mistaken identity hijinks fic.
5. The required-in-every-fandom time travel fic (with bonus fake dating)! Through an outpouring of Oronyx's power, Mydei and Phainon end up in the bodies of their future selves, who, it turns out, have not only managed to end Amphoreus' war and revive Castrum Kremnos, but... appear to have also... gotten married?!! Now Mydei and Phainon have to not only find out exactly how their future selves managed to save the world (so they can accomplish the same task) then look for a way back to their own time--they've got to do all of that while also pretending to be a happily wedded pair of rulers to avoid raising everyone's suspicions. This would be a whole lot easier if either of them knew the first thing about being actual kings... or about relationships. The slightest slip up could create ripple effects that change the entire timeline permanently, but--no matter how nerve-wracking it might be to admit, after seeing the future in store for them together--there's nothing Phainon (and Mydei) won't do to make sure things go exactly as they should.

You were as stiff as a board as you laid next to Jing Yuan in your bed. His arms were around your waist and his face was pushed up into your neck, his breath tickling your skin with every puff of air that left his mouth, “you’re so tense.”
I wonder why, you thought as your mind wandered back to the dead maid who was probably still in his room.
“I just… I guess I’m scared,” you decided to test the waters with being truthful. He’s been lenient with you so far after all.
“Scared?”
“Scared of you,” your voice was soft as your words carried through the darkness of your room.
“Why?”
“Because… I feel like you’re going to kill me too.”
You felt one of his arms leave your waist. His hand sliding up your form before it found a strand of your hair and he started to twirl it about his finger.
“I might one day,” his voice echoed, “it was tempting to do so when you first got here.”
“Then why not do it?”
He already did the other times, is me having amnesia really stopping him this time? A part of you had to know despite how dangerous it was. Would Sunday even help you this time? You haven’t exactly been on the best of terms…
“Because…the other times I did…it was like ripping my own heart out.”
Other… times? But how…?
“What do you…?”
You felt him gently kiss your neck, “sleep, don’t mind my words, I’m just… joking.”
You don’t know when you fell asleep. All you do know is that when you closed your eyes was that you were going to search for answers. Wherever those answers may be.
The next morning when you woke up, Jing Yuan was still next to you, and you found yourself turned around so now that you were facing him and truth be told your dreams were turbulent, nightmarish. You still feel so tired especially from what Jing Yuan revealed the night before.
You need to talk to Sunday, but not while he is in here with you.
Speaking of which…
He looked quite peaceful while he was sleeping.
Slowly, you brought your hand up, your fingers were gentle as they ran along his cheeks, his nose, his lips, his forehead, down his jawline. He was so beautiful, but so dangerous all the same.
How does he remember those lives? Was he saying all that to get a rise out of me? A reaction? Was he hoping my mask would slip?
“Is my face that interesting to you?”
Your eyes met his and you smiled, “mmm, you’re very beautiful.”
He chuckled softly as he sat up in your bed and swung his legs over the side. His warmth no longer surrounded you and you were tempted to pull him back in. Maybe I can ask him about what he meant last night?
“Princess.”
“Y- yes?”
“Come to the training grounds later.”
“Why?”
He grinned at you.
“A- alright…”
Before he got up, he motioned for you to come over, deciding that it would be best to listen to him, you sat up in the bed too and crawled over and just as you got close enough he had wrapped his arm around your neck and tugged you forward in order to hold you still. You were about to say something to him when you felt his lips on yours. His mouth perfectly slotting against your own as he kept you there easily before letting you go and standing up.
“See you later, Princess.”
“Bye, Yuan,” you managed to mumble out as you still felt the heat of his lips on yours when he left the room.
“You’re looking quite dazed,” Sunday said.
His immediate appearance caused your brow to furrow as you got out of bed too.
“What did Jing Yuan mean last night?”
You cut right to the chase, you were tired of Sunday’s hidden intentions and lackluster explanations. You were going to get answers, and if he wasn’t going to tell you than you planned to ask the Emperor.
“The emperor is quite troublesome it seems. He’s always one step ahead…”
“Quit stalling.”
Sunday smirked at you.
“I lied.”
“Obviously,” you scoffed.
“I wasn’t the one turning back time, Jing Yuan was.”

Idk why I did this. But since I wrote it yall have to see it (if you choose to read it of course!). Blame my beloved agegap!anon I fear <3

Original.
Pt 2.
Art can’t really help himself. If he could stop he definitely would… Maybe. He wasn’t a virgin before he had sex with his tennis coach, Patrick Zweig. He’d just never been with a boy before. Now that he’s done it, and done it, and. done. it. All over Patrick’s house. He feels a little more confident in his sexuality. And it’s weird. Because now he’s suddenly getting even more attention.
He’s not a slut. Not really. He doesn’t always give it up. But he likes to tease. And he likes the attention.
A lot.
Probably what he likes even more than the attention is the way it seems to break away at Patrick's ever present cool and calm demeanor.
Art was barely flirting, honestly. Kneeling on Chase Roberts feet so he could do sit-ups. Chase has these really pretty brown eyes that sparkle in the sunlight, and Art wasn’t really straddling him, he was just crawling between his legs to get a closer look. He didn’t expect Chase to sit up and kiss him. Or the other boys to tease and jeer when Chase did it. Chase is smirking at him and Art shoves him back down on his back, licking his lips. “You’re such a freak.”
Chase laughs. ”You can’t blame me for wanting a little taste pretty boy.” Art sits up properly, when he hears Patrick blow his whistle. Conditioned for it by now. Patrick’s looking at him but it’s only for a second before he’s yelling at everyone.
“Enough messing around,” he shouts, “since we’re all in a silly mood without the silly skills to accompany it, we’re all doing fucking drills. He says. “Come on…get up. Line up behind the baseline, middle court. Roberts in front.”
Everyone gets up. Patrick bends over leaning in to whisper in his assistant coach, Meg’s ear. His little purple shorts, forming to his ass, riding up so Art can see more of his muscular thighs. Thighs Art has sat on, that he’s felt hot and warm beneath him while taking the full length of Patrick’s cock. He never felt more grown up. He bites his tongue trying not to get hard.
Coach Meg gets up and pulls on her baseball cap. “Okay everyone we’re doing baseline, mid court, center shots.” She shouts. “For every ball you miss or hit out of bounds you run a lap and get back in line.”
There’s some irritated mumbling as Art gets in line but no one gets too loud for fear it will get worse.
“Donaldson, come with me,” Patrick says. Grabbing his clip board and walking towards the locker rooms. Art looks around and some of his teammates are smirking. Roberts makes a kissy face at him.
“I hope you’re all paying attention,” Coach Meg says, whacking Tyson Wahler with her clipboard when he mimics a sloppy make out. Art grins and hurries to catch up with Patrick.
Art is breathless when they get into the facilities building. “Am I in trouble, coach? Art asks playfully, but Patrick doesn’t really give him anything. Just keeps up his breakneck walking pace.
He approaches his office and pulls open the door, holding it for Art. Art walks in and looks around. He’s probably only been in here once, with a teammate to ask about switching doubles partners because they were both left handed.
Art turns back around to face him. “So what’s the big—“
Patrick covers him mouth and walks him backwards up against the closed office door. “Mm Donaldson, you talk too much.” He’s all in Art’s face. Art’s heart rate speeds up quickly, blood furiously rushing to his cock. “Did you fuck him?”
Art raises his eyebrows.
“You can nod, yes or no. Did you and Roberts fuck?”
Art shakes his head.
“Did you fuck any other boys since the weekend?”
Art shakes his head again. He’s actually falling apart for how fucking hot this feels. Patrick going insane over a little kiss. He licks at Patrick’s palm just to get a taste of him.
Patrick presses his forehead against the wall next to him. “Mm…you have to fucking stop.” He whines and pulls his hand off of Art’s mouth.
“Did you fuck your girlfriend since the weekend?” Art says, grinning as he tries to catch his breath and settle down.
He can’t settle down.
Patrick pushes up against him and he can feel. Fuck. He can feel it. “You’re such a fucking brat,” Patrick whispers in his ear.
“And you’re a pervert, all over me and I’m barely out of high school.” Art breathes as Patrick’s rubbing up against him. “Won’t even let me fuck a boy my own age.”
“No one your age knows how to do it properly,” Patrick whispers.
Art starts sucking kisses into his throat.
“You… fuck… you know you make me crazy. Sitting on my court, showing off that body, crawling on boys laps and letting them… oh fuck it…“ Patrick grips Art by the waist, taking his mouth in a bruising kisses, all while walking him up against the desk and bending him over. Art is pushing back on him while he’s rummaging in his desk drawer. He pulls out a condom and then he’s pumping lotion out to use as lubricant. Art feels his mouth watering. As hot as he was earlier he’s going insane now.
“I knew you’d be this fucking tight still,” Patrick groans as he’s filling Art, big hand covering his mouth to keep him quiet. Or muffled at least. Art licking, talking, moaning against his palm. Fucking in Patrick’s office while the rest of the team is running around the court. Patrick, so frantic and desperate to claim him. Ramming his prostate over and over and over till Art is spilling all over the desk, muscles trembling, head dizzy. God. He can’t believe it took him so long to start. It feels so good getting full on Patrick’s cock. Art wants it every fucking day.
“Holy shit,” Patrick sighs as he’s tying off the condom and easing his shorts back up.
Art’s all dizzy and in love with him. And now he smells a lot like cherry almond lotion.
Patrick settles on his desk chair, manspreading as he pulls out his pack of cigarettes. “I shouldn’t be doing this. Fuck. I’m gonna get caught and get fucking fired.”
“Have you ever done it with a player before?” Art asks, lightly.
“Are you kidding? I’ve done fucked up shit before. I’ve done stupid shit before, but never anything this stupid and fucked up.”
Art sits on the desk, he’s all sore and it feels so good he wiggles just to feel the ache and he puts his foot between Patrick’s thighs.
“If you give me your number, I’ll do whatever you want. I won’t fuck anyone else,” Art says.
Patrick takes a deep breath and pops a cigarette in his mouth before playing with Art’s shoe laces. He then takes the cigarette out of his mouth like he’s just realized he’s still inside. “No you’re a kid. You’re gonna be calling me and texting me at insane hours asking for things that I’m gonna fucking do because I have no self control. And I’m gonna end up seeing them blown up on a board in front of the school ethics committee.”
”I won’t say anything bad. I swear.” Art says. “If I’m horny I’ll just send you an eggplant emoji. Like 39 times. Isn’t that how old you are? Or is it one for good luck?”
Patrick snorts. “Get up and go back to practice, you little shit. And tell Megan we were in here talking about that recruiter that was here last week.”
Art shrugs and pushes himself off of the desk. “Can you come with me?”
“I’ll be there in 5 minutes… I promise.”
Art sighs and lingers to the point where Patrick just smiles. “Fine, come on. You get so fucking clingy after.”
“No I don't," Art says, defensive and a little warm because it’s true… Art does want to be around him. Though he doesn’t think clingy is the word.
Patrick straightens his office and Arts hair and checks himself in the mirror before they leave. He lights up as soon as they get outside. Art falls into lock step with him. “Try to relax— cause as soon as we get up there, you’re not sitting around me, it’s gonna be laps. And no more fucking kissing Roberts or anyone else.”
“I’ll try not to,” Art says grinning, knowing that if this is his punishment he might just kiss everyone on the team.
(Btw…Other anon with the brilliant ask in this au I can’t resist — I’m totally coming to that! A thousand percent! Trust!)

Primal instincts
Aaron Hotchner x reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You lean against a tree as you watch your boyfriend stretch his limbs with sheer determination visible on his face. It’s clear he can’t wait to start the chase, and he loves the idea of being the predator that hunts you–the prey, the precious prize–in the woods. When he notices the way you’re watching him, he flashes a smug smirk at you, as if he was silently telling you there’s no way you can get away from him. Not like you want to, though.
This little game is something you two have been planning for a while now, a special activity he heard about at an unbelievably boring gala. Who would have thought that an event with a bunch of boring old people can be the very place where he listens to a drunk heir’s speech about playing it with his boyfriend somewhere near Seattle during a business trip there. He even went into details, telling Aaron things he honestly didn’t want to hear.
The next day he told you the story, just for the laughs, but then he thought more about it as he watched you do mundane things around the apartment and he began to drop hints here and there, during the most casual conversations in the car, or when you were watching a movie on the couch after Jack went to bed. “You would look so good from behind when you’re trying to get rid of me, though,” he said. At first, you thought he was joking, but then a few days later another comment came as he nonchalantly said, “I want to play rough with you.”
So, you agreed, and now it’s time to play the game he prepared so carefully. Jack is staying with his aunt, which means the two of you have the whole night to play together, and he chose a location that was an hour long drive away from his apartment, so he even reserved a hotel room to stay in. But now as you’re watching him, you begin to have some doubts. Maybe you’re just nervous since you’ve never done anything like this, but what if you get hurt? You can always trip in a root or something.
“Baby, it’s gonna be fine. It will be fun, I promise,” he says as he closes the gap between you and puts his hands on your hips to pull you against himself.
Sometimes you wonder if he can actually read minds, because somehow he always knows what’s going on inside your head. But maybe it’s just his profiler side putting in the work every now and then to help him out. Either way, it’s equally cute and annoying, but you’re not really complaining. As you wrap your arms around his neck and pull his head down for a quick kiss, you can’t help but flash a playful smile at him.
With his hand pushing a strand of hair behind your ear, he looks at you with the kind of adoration you’ve barely seen since the first days of your relationship. “Are you ready?” The question is simple, but it still makes you think hard. After some time, though, you nod with a smile. “Good. I’ll give you a headstart.”
He doesn’t have to say it twice, you immediately start running into the woods, praying to whatever is out there that can protect you not to let you trip and fall flat on your face. The darkness swallows everything in the distance, you have no idea where you’re heading, but this game isn’t about thinking, this is strictly about your instincts. You need to run, that’s all you can and have to think about now.
The chilly night air makes you shiver when you stop for a second to take a look around and listen to any sound that might tell you if Aaron is getting near, but all you can hear is the pounding of your heart in your ears. You’re not even sure what it is you feel right now. Is it fear? Is it excitement? Or can it be the mixture of these two?
Whatever it is, it’s addicting, you want to be in this state of mind forever, you love the thrill this game gives you. You might be the prey now, someone who’s supposed to escape the predator, but all you want is your boyfriend finally catching up and showing you what hides behind his ever-present self-control, what primal needs lurk in the background, waiting to have you just the way he wants.
Your breathing finally slows down, so you begin to wonder which direction to go next. You have a GPS, you can find your way back to the car, therefore you can go anywhere you want. But as you think, you suddenly hear the sound of a twig that was stepped on, and your attention turns to the task of finding out where it’s coming from. You listen, you even hold your breath to be more quiet, but there’s nothing. He probably realized you could hear that and stopped. Or maybe it was some animal.
“Got you!” Aaron says happily as he wraps his arms around your waist from behind, keeping you close to his chest.
You turn your head a little, only to be kissed right away, and you can’t help but turn in his arms to face him properly. Instead of kissing you again, though, he takes a few steps forward in an attempt to push you back, just until you’re caged between him and a tree. His warm brown eyes are watching your every move, paying attention to every little detail he might find important later, mostly regarding the game you’ve been playing. Did you enjoy it? Are there any signs of you liking it so much you might want to do it again some other time?
He pulls you out of your thoughts with another kiss, a much messier, hungrier kiss that showcases how badly he wants you. That sense of urgency as he slowly slips his hand under your shirt makes you moan into his mouth, a sound that’s swallowed by him right away, and soon you can feel his hands move to your back to unclip your bra with his skilled hand. Once he’s done, he grabs the hem of your shirt and pulls it over your head along with the bra, then throws them both on the ground.
It hurts you to see those precious items on the ground, surrounded by insects and dirt, two things you would never let them near. But Aaron took the lead, he’s the one making the rules here, and it will be his credit card that pays for the dry cleaner and the new pieces you’ll buy anyway. As a token of your gratitude, you will let him join you for lingerie shopping. He’ll see you in everything and he can make the final decision of which piece he wants to regularly take off of you.
A jolt of electricity shoots through your body when you feel his teeth sink into your shoulder near your neck, and it’s clear that it will leave a mark eventually. Your eyes close as you focus on the way his warm, wet mouth is moving over to your collarbone in a way that makes it clear you’ll be covered in hickeys and bite marks tomorrow.
And honestly? You will wear these marks with pride.

# MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE ⋆。 ゚☁︎。 ⋆。 ゚☾
21. Waves are worth chasing 💌
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lights on in a crowded room, with people you barely know—luck chose to frown at you today.
The speakers vibrate through the floor as you make your way inside Kaveh’s place. Navia carefully maneuvers her desserts tray around the bodies of those she doesn’t recognize—upperclassmen and underclassmen alike.
You forgot how many people Kaveh knows.
No matter how tight, the apartment stretches with thick air of spilled alcohol and cheap perfume. You spot Kaeya, sprawled out on a table with a smirk on his face as he crashes the group playing a card game. Then, you watch Thoma laughing intently at something the Kamisato siblings said, before finally stumbling across the birthday celebrant himself, cladded in shades of green and red with a party had that said: Getting laid.
“Hey!” You hug Kaveh who squeezes you back with unrelenting force, “Happy Birthday! Me and Navia got you something. Open it later!”
“Thank you! Finally, some adults in this house,” His dramatic sigh makes you giggle as he ushers you to grab a meal—and who are you to refuse?
In the midst of drunken chatter and overlapping noises your eyes can’t help but search for another pair, ones that reminds you that oceans aren’t scary—that waves are worth chasing. Yet as you pass by each crack and corridors, no figure dressed in shades of orange and blue welcome you with a familiar warmth.
Instead, you recognized a voice, written in the past.
“[Y/N]?”
You don’t turn, indulging yourself in the cookies Navia baked earlier. The sweetness was perfect on the tongue, but the enjoyment doesn’t last.
With the last bite, you turned around, “I didn’t see you.”
I wished it stayed that way.
Kazuha smiles and it’s as sweet as the maple trees he used to sit under. Standing with him up close, slaps you with nostalgia. An aggressive force painting a picture softer than the truth.
You had imagined meeting him in a different circumstance. One where your heavy heart weights you down until you drag him with you so he can feel the guilt of causing you pain—the ache of keeping your secrets sacred, and promises of paradise only to leave because that’s what he does best.
To leave without words despite being a poet.
Maybe that’s what writers do best. String words together to form a fabricated lie and fulfill a fantasy everyone can get lost in.
And yet, here you are, content and without regret of reading that story he wrote months ago. Because for the first time in a while, you smile at him with a taste of freedom.
“It’s been a while. It looks like you’re not as upset at me as our last messages before,” Kazuha says as he runs a hand through his gray hair—a habit he picked up whenever he’s nervous.
You nod, “Yeah.”
And this is the difference. You would’ve chased the words, sought out ways to keep him entertained, to keep the conversation running.
But you just let it die.
“Did you come here with your boyfriend?” He asks, carefully drinking from his red solo cup.
It’s an innocent question. It should be. The problem is, you don’t have a boyfriend. But you know exactly who he’s referring to—and that pulls a tug at your chest.
Not the face of the person who dropped your heart.
But the lack of presence from the one who picked it up.
“No,” You lie, maintaining the facade with a bright smile, “But he’ll probably arrive soon. He’s one of Kaveh’s closest friend.”
You hope he doesn’t notice the uncertainty of your voice. You’re not even sure if he’s coming, much less where he is.
“I thought I saw him earlier,” He scratches his head, “But I might be mistaken. Not every ginger gets up-close and personal with everyone they bump into,” He avoids your eyes as you decipher the meaning behind his words, before shrugging, “Then again, I don’t know the boundaries of your relationship.”
“What are you getting at?”
He chuckles, and it’s not because he finds it funny, rather he’s unsure of himself, “Ignore me. I’m just… not in the right mindset at the moment.”
“Sure,” You say before turning away and leaving Kazuha behind, right where he belongs.
But the shadow of his implications gnaw at the back of your mind as you melt back into the party.

𓈒ㅤ 𝜗𝜚 RIKI believes his dad, genuinely, doesn’t seem to care what he thinks. and it’s because of moments like these– when they’re yelling at each other after a tense lunchtime. riki wants his dad to stop controlling his life, he doesn’t understand why what he’s doing is so wrong. everytime this happens, they get nowhere, riki knows that.
“what’s so wrong with a university student having a girlfriend? i’m over 18, dad! i bet you had one at this age!”
his dad sighs again, and pushes his glasses impossibly further up his nose bridge. “maybe i did, but that doesn’t mean it was a good thing.”
riki snorts at that. “what’s so bad about a fucking GIRLFRIEND??”
another sigh. “riki, you don’t get—”
“get?! what’s there to get?!”
silence.
taking a deep breath, riki mutters while grabbing a bag—
“i’m going to library. i’ll get some peace of mind there, unlike this.”
his dad watches him leave the room, and then chases after him.
“hey, you’re on house arrest! you can’t leave!” his voice booms through the corridor. riki looks back, a scowl evident in his face and bitterness in the words he spat.
“go on and fucking try to stop me.”
with that, the door slammed.
the thud of the door brought some twisted sort of reality check to riki’s dad.

I'm calling this Febuwhump Day 3 prompt fulfillment (read: I need validation) because it was, conveniently, written yesterday. Prompt: Pinned Down.
It's long, so it's going underneath the cut:
“What is that?” River pushed himself further away from the man, eyeing the hypodermic in Frank’s hand, but there was nowhere to go. Not with his hands cuffed behind him, looped around the headboard of the bed frame, or his feet bound together with thick rounds of duct tape.
Frank sat down on the frame next to him, almost gentle in his movements, his face solemn and somewhat wistful, and he reached a hand over to pat River’s thigh, and for a disturbing moment, Frank seemed almost human.
Except for the part where he still had a needle in his hand, staring at it in a way that made River’s heart rate spike, the sudden wave of nausea threatening making him swallow convulsively.
When he was first dropped at his granddad’s house, Rose had a dog, Errol, an ancient terrier mix who much preferred a childless household, his quiet days filled with napping in the sun on his favorite spot on the carpet or making the rounds through Rose’s gardens - more out of habit than chasing vermin. But River had never been allowed a pet before. Isobel hardly wanted him around, never mind an extra mouth that couldn’t be left alone to figure out a cereal box while she was gone for hours or days at a time. He adored the cranky animal, enduring several nips to fingers to be able to stroke the wiry hair, even when prudence said he should leave Errol well enough alone. He liked to think he eventually appealed to Errol’s better half by sneaking him scraps from the table despite multiple warnings from his grandparents, and eventually, he and the dog were rarely apart. It wasn’t like Rose or David knew anyone with young children, or perhaps they did, and didn’t want to explain how River came to be dumped in the garden like a stray animal, so Errol was the only one around for River to play with. Even if that play was mostly reading in the garden under the shade of the trees while Errol stretched out beside him on his back, feet in the air, snoring loud enough to scare away birds.
But Errol was already old by the time River showed up. They had exactly one summer and three months together until two days before Christmas, Rose called the vet because Errol couldn’t stand anymore, and would only lay on his pillow near the fire, shaking and whining from pain.
Rose stayed with Errol while David ushered River upstairs, perhaps more to do with giving Rose a chance to say goodbye to her companion of 16 years, than sparing River the harsh realities of death and dying.
The last thing River saw before his granddad gently pushed him out of view of the parlor was the vet holding up a hypodermic that looks suspiciously like the one in Frank’s, and his expression was disturbingly similar to David’s when he’d sat with River on his bed, explaining as best he could that what they were doing for Errol was for the best, a kindness and a mercy borne from love for the old dog. He’d patted River’s leg ruefully, and sat with him in silence while River cried for the only friend he had.
River did not like the parallels.
“You are making this very difficult, son,” Frank sighed. “Pups are easier to train - that’s why you get them when they’re young. Once they’re eight months, a year - you have to break them down, start from scratch. Get rid of all the bad habits they’ve picked up before they came to you.”
River didn’t think it wise to point out what a load of shit that was, and more importantly, he was not a dog he was a person, not when Frank was still staring at the needle in his hand like maybe, maybe he wouldn’t have to use it.
“I should’ve come for you earlier. I see that now. If I’d known Isobel was going to dump you anyways, I would’ve just picked you up from your grandfather’s before he could really get his hooks into you. You and I - we could’ve made a real difference. I’ve been unreasonable, expecting too much of you too soon. I see that now. I’m not too big a man to admit my mistakes. But I am willing to try and correct them. You have potential. So much potential. But you’ve too many bad habits getting in your way. Habits that need to be broken.”
River twisted his hands against the cuffs, feeling the scabbed over skin break and bleed anew as he quietly tried to pull the unyielding metal over bone and tendon.
Frank sniffed, and clapped a hand on River’s knee, at first like someone might clap someone on the back in congratulations, but then his grip tightened, fingers digging painfully into already bruised skin in warning that River had better stop fidgeting while Frank was talking to him, or this almost civil conversation was going to get much worse, very quickly.
“But what defines a man, son, is how he learns from his mistakes. How he takes his weaknesses and makes them his strengths. Understand?”
River shook his head. “You don’t have to do this.”
“No, I do. I do, son. Because you’ve made me,” Frank said, turning to face River, offering a small smile that held no warmth. “Don’t worry. It’ll just put you to sleep.”
That was what the vet told Errol.
“You don’t have to do this, Frank - you don’t…” River shoved himself as far back as he could manage, but it was useless. He could go nowhere.
Frank’s hand came up, vicious and quick and slammed River’s head back into the wall before shoving him violently against the bedsprings, Frank’s meaty hand pressing down on the side of River’s face with such brutal force River could feel the metal biting in his other cheek even as his vision reeled from the blow.
“I don’t want to go to sleep!” It was embarrassing, to have to beg, to be a fully grown man with MI5 training, pinned down like some kind of animal, but River didn’t care. He could feel his heart threatening to beat out of his chest, but he couldn’t move, couldn’t budge, not with Frank’s weight pressing down on him, the awkward angle he forced River’s neck into feeling like at any moment, it would snap. “Don’t do this, Frank - sir - Dad,” he said the word in desperation, without thought, grasping at straws for anything that would keep his own father from putting him down like a misbehaving pet.
The needle sunk into his neck, and River closed his eyes, maybe in denial but mostly so that Frank couldn’t see the tears as whatever was in the hypodermic was injected, freezing cold but somehow burning all the way, and River knew beyond the shadow of a doubt, he wasn’t getting out of this.
Patrice stood in the corner, eyes cast down, arms folded across his chest, as unmoving as a statue, his warning that River had no idea what Frank was capable of echoing in his head.
River expected Frank to leave once he’d injected the drug, but he didn’t, and that was worse. He didn’t let up his bruising grip until River felt his muscles start to relax, and his vision swam dangerously. His heartbeat slowed, his breathing became shallow, his stomach rolling violently. When Frank finally lifted his hand, River tried to turn his head, but he couldn’t move, even as the metal dug painfully into his cheek and he could feel blood starting to well in the shallow cuts.
Frank’s hand came down, and River couldn’t flinch away from the expected slap, but instead, Frank’s hand brushed his hair away from his face, running a calloused thumb across River’s dampened cheek as River fought against the encroaching darkness, terrified that if he closed his eyes, he would never open them again.
He was going to die here.
“There’s a good boy,” Frank soothed, shushing him gently. “Good boy.”
River had never considered how much he hated that phrase. Hated it to his very bones, and felt a surge of rage so strong it momentarily beat back the black tide of unconsciousness that was dragging him down, and stupidly, foolishly, thought of the Slow Horses, and a voice that sounded suspiciously like Lamb warned him not to comply in advance.
It took every ounce of will that remained for him to force out the words, “They’ll find me.”
“He will look for you,” Frank agreed, his voice echoing distantly, “endlessly. But he’ll never find you. You’ll just be another ghost to haunt him.”
And River knew no more.

Let's just picture the begining of their relationship (post consummation) when they were but were not a thing yet, so, yes implicitly they started spending -even- more of their 'free' personal time together. Slowly but surely they were getting into a very nice though not conventional relationship with each other and sometimes it just seemed pretty conventional if not for the fact that neither of them had proposed or even asked to each other what were they actually doing because it was a thing but not a thing at the time. I can't help but to think of Scully's reaction while realization downed on her as she did the dishes and Mulder just cleaned the table after a meal and made his way to sit comfortably on her couch, on a weekend, to watch the game at her place, bare feet over her coffee table, jeans hanging low on his hips while he held the remote -hers- in his very skillful hands, and he was doing that, at her place, which meant he wasn't ditching her for the weekend like he used to do, to chase the next great big mystery, to chase after whatever fake report of whatever cryptid, UFO, or whatever that might've caught his attention in whatever town lost in time and space, or the mountains and desolated lakes he fancied so much.
No. He wasn't out there anymore, he hadn't been in a while and this, she found.. disturbing, because this meant something she wasn't ready to accept to herself yet, not yet. Sure, secretly she might've even longed for it, very secretly, so secretly she might've convinced herself she didn't really want it. But she asked him if he ever thought of stopping the car, getting off, settle down. And since nothing Mulder did was conventional, maybe this was it. Him, coming to a slow stop, still very excited about the job but much more excited to explore life with her, not always necessarily under the covers but they had pretty much done the whole other thing there was to be done with their lives except for that one they were doing now, and boy were they really doing it and doing it well indeed.
Idk I just think of her face coming out of the kitchen and seeing him there, just so naturally comfortable on her couch watching basketball, his eyes meeting hers because she was staring and she licking her lips a little nervously as she put her hands on her hips before voicing her thoughts filled with doubt like "Mulder what are you doing here?", she meant why aren't you anywhere else like you used to not so long ago? And I can see him just shrugging with a small smug smile, all relaxed there, motioning for her to come over with a slight gesture of his hand, just a random weekend after having pizza, getting ready for the game to start, he wasn't going anywhere anymore, he was right where he needed to be. He had chosen her. He hadn't found the words to tell her yet, but he was there.

A Negative Outcome, Part 4
Tumblr media
Infinite thank you to @gouraminnow who helped me so very very much with this chapter.
The other chapters | on Ao3
TW: angst and not much comfort here but there will be a lot in the next chapter.
Thatch POV
It had been a long time since Marco had been in trouble with Pops. Thatch remembered a time when he first joined the Whitebeard Pirates where Marco had killed someone they wanted for information and Pops had been mad about it. But that was decades ago and Thatch hadn’t seen a repeat performance since. Marco was always doing the right thing, making correct judgements, and trying his best to guide the crew under the supervision of Pops. Which is why nearly half the crew was on deck pretending to be working while listening in, himself included. You were resting in his room, exhausted after the long day and donating so much blood. Thatch had heard Marco’s statements that you shouldn’t be so tired but Thatch had been around long enough to know there was more to a person than just their body.
“My son, it was the wrong choice,” Pops chided Marco lightly. Pops didn’t need to use a harsh tone or to yell, the effect on Marco was devastating. He looked like he was wilting under Pops’ softly spoken words even as he looked directly at their Captain. Thatch had been in Marco’s position before and it was undeniably worse when Pops was disappointed rather than angry .
“She was harmed under our care, she needed time to recuperate,” Pops continued.
“But chemotherapy doesn’t work like that, I can’t just suddenly -” Marco tried to interrupt and throw his weight as the doctor on the crew. Whitebeard stopped him with a glance.
“I’ve lived a long time, Marco. One day would not have mattered,” was all Whitebeard had to say in order for Marco to hang his head. The quiet across the deck was louder than any argument could ever be. Holding himself high once more, Marco looked his Captain in the eye.
“But I… - of course. I’ll…make amends,” Marco replied. Thatch wondered how he would do so given the tension that radiated from you any time Marco came near. Thatch had to spend the majority of his time in the infirmary that afternoon calming and soothing you after Marco had chased you down in the kitchens. Thatch had heard Marco apologize many times but he wasn’t sure he’d ever heard it after Marco had fucked up. Maybe it would be good for the doctor to be humbled slightly, maybe you’d get better treatment from Marco or at least be allowed to live a little more. Thatch finished clearing Pop’s dishes and left to bring them back to the galley. He wanted to be in the room when Marco sought you out to make sure the interaction went as smoothly as possible.
Marco POV
Marco shifted into his Phoenix form as he took his leave from Pops and launched himself into the air, soaring high above the ship. He wanted a few moments of privacy to gather himself before he went to go find you. He needed to center and control his emotions before he talked to you lest he make the relationship between you worse. Which…he wasn’t sure was possible right now. When you told him how you fucking hated him and your facial expression held more emotion during that declaration than he’d seen in weeks.
Marco had tried to empathize with you as best he could but he never got very far. His devotion to Whitebeard was so strong, he’d do anything to make his Captain’s health improve. He already had by betraying his oath to do no harm and keeping you aboard the ship. Marco would gladly have traded six hours of his day for Whitebeard, it wasn’t like you were working hard. All you had to do was sit in a chair with your arm on an arm rest and relax. And yes, he knew that you missed your family and friends but it wasn’t like he had murdered you. You’d eventually make your way back to them - Marco knew that even with his assistance Whitebeard was mortal and would eventually pass away. It was a temporary adventure in your life, and frankly, most people would go gaga for the opportunity to sail with Whitebeard. You could be having the time of your life but you chose to spend it moping about the ship.
What really ruffled Marco’s feathers was everyone was acting like he was the villain, like Marco was the one who was responsible for your torment and despair. Yes, it had been his plan, but everyone commented on how well Pops has been doing, how healthy he looked, how lively Pops was lately. It didn’t go unnoticed by the crew how vigorously Pops crushed Teach’s lifeless body once the traitor had finally been defeated. Everyone was pleased with the outcome but they didn’t want to get their own hands dirty by taking care of you.  It was easy to accuse Marco of being unsympathetic and cold but no one was helping you escape, were they? Everyone wanted you to remain and to use your blood but they didn’t want to have to feel bad about it. Marco shook his head trying to clear the negative thoughts. He needed to figure out some way to apologize for making you give blood without causing further deterioration to your relationship. He lazily tightened the circles he was flying in and flew down to land on the deck. He went below deck after shifting back into his human form, finally ready to speak to you. He had to remain sensitive, this was probably the first time you’d had a near death experience. Even before he ate his Devil Fruit, being a pirate came with a certain level of risk. Marco was used to the danger of the high seas but that would be foreign to you as a civilian. Keeping that in mind, Marco headed towards Thatch’s cabin where he assumed you were. You’d hardly left the Commander’s side since Teach had tried to murder you, likely in an attempt to make yourself feel more secure. Listening from outside the cabin, he heard Thatch speaking to you in his deep voice and you responding occasionally to his questions.
Your POV
There was no other way to say it - you were hiding in Thatch’s room after your time in the infirmary. You felt completely depleted in mind, body, and spirit as you looked through the assorted books Thatch had in his room. Turned out he liked poetry and once upon a time you had too. But since you’d been brought on the ship your interest had dwindled. You ran your finger down the spine of a familiar book, a popular volume of romantic poems. At some point you thought all you ever wanted out of life was someone to care for you and love you like the people in the poems but it turned out you craved more important things -  like freedom and autonomy. Even so, you plucked the slim book off the shelf and turned it over in your hands, opening it to the bookmarked spot Thatch had left.
A knock at the door had you whimpering in distress. You were never so jumpy before coming on the ship but now you startled at the tiniest noise. The door opened to reveal a concerned looking Thatch on the other side. Your cheeks heated as the chef came closer to check on you again. Thatch had been practically babysitting you since the events of the previous day and you felt awful for taking up so much of his precious time. You didn’t want to be a burden on the one person who seemed to care how you were feeling and maybe gave a shit about you.
“How ya doin’ Baby Pie?” Thatch asked, approaching you slowly. You tried to put on a cheery front so he didn’t come home to a dour loser every time he wanted to rest in his room.
“I’m good. I’m just, um, relaxing. I’m gonna go though, sorry. You can have your room back, I’m sure you want some alone time,” you said apologetically, closing the book and moving to replace it on the shelf near the couch before you left.
“I don’t want alone time, I came to see you. And you’re welcome to stay here as long as you’d like. You don’t have to go back to that other room,” Thatch said quietly. You hadn’t actually thought about where you’d go if Thatch wanted his room back. The thought of going back to the room where you nearly died wasn’t in the realm of possibility for you. Maybe you could find a room in the infirmary that was far from the phlebotomy room? But Marco wouldn’t go for that, you didn’t even have to ask. Beds were scarce and needed to injured crew, not frightened civilians.
“What’re you thinkin’ about Porkchop?” Thatch asked, plopping down on the small couch in his cabin. He held out his arms and spread his legs, a silent call for you to come sit on his lap. It felt childish to constantly seek out touch but you feet were propelling themselves towards the chef anyway. As you neared he scooped you up and placed you in his lap, wrapping his warm arms around you. You leaned into him, even the smell of oil imbued his chef’s coat not ruining your moment.
“Porkchop?” you asked lightly, nuzzling into him. You felt  there was something building between the two of you but you didn’t want to address it right now. You were a little vulnerable and wanted some leeway in case your growing feelings weren’t reciprocated. You’d live in delusion land for just a bit longer before you brought yourself back to reality and talked to Thatch about your crush.
“Mm. Guess that wasn’t one of my better ones, eh? You can go back to being Sugar,” Thatch teased, squishing you between his muscled arms. He gently took the book from your hands, turning it over so the cover was showing. “You like poetry?” he asked softly, the fingers of his other hand drawing circles on your thigh.
“Yeah, guess so,” you answered, eyes already closing. You hadn’t been able to truly rest without Thatch around, feeling too unsafe and anxious to fall asleep. Eventually you would have to get over it and be an adult again but the chef was too comforting for your own good. A knock at the door had you stiffening up immediately. Thatch’s arms tightened around you as he beckoned to whoever was behind the door. You bristled as you saw Marco pushing in the door, his face sour like he’d eaten a crate of lemons. If Thatch wasn’t there you would have tried to take your chances by running again but you knew there was no way that you’d be able to escape the two of them together. But maybe Marco wasn’t there to talk to you, maybe he needed more from you, more time in the phlebotomy room, more blood coming out of your arm -
“I did six hours! I promise! I can’t - please -” you went straight to begging, trying to push Thatch’s arms off of you.
“No no. It’s not that yoi. You did fine today. I came to apologize to you,” Marco stated plainly. You didn’t respond, unsure what Marco was playing at. He’d never apologized to you before, why was he starting now? Sure he made you give blood the day after you were almost murdered but that was practically par for the course. You knew he didn’t feel bad about kidnapping you or using you but you were curious what he would say.
“I’m going to give the two of you privacy but I won’t be far,” Thatch said, taking you off his lap and placing you on the small couch. You made a small sound of protest and looked up at him with doleful eyes. You didn’t want to be left alone with Marco, especially not after you told him off not too long prior. Marco didn’t seem to take anything you said too personally but you also hadn’t told him to fuck off before either. After Thatch left the room it became awkward and quiet as you waited for Marco to continue his thought. Marco came inside and shut the door, leaving just the sound of the waves against the sides of the ship.
“I came to apologize for making you donate -”
“Give,” you corrected Marco. You’d never been so bold before but maybe almost dying would do that to a person.
“Pardon?” Marco asked, now crossing his arms and leaning against the wall.
“I don’t donate my blood. You take it,” you replied. You wished that your voice had held out for the whole sentence - you squeaked out the end. Marco bristled and you scooted backwards, putting more distance between the two of you.
“Yes, I suppose that's true yoi,” Marco conceded as he set his jaw. You regretted saying anything - if Marco was in the mood to play nice you shouldn't have spoiled it. Marco closed his eyes briefly and took a deep breath before he continued, crossing his arms and drumming his fingers along his bicep, as if this entire conversation was irritating him.
“As I was saying, I am sorry for taking your blood today. I should have listened to you and let you rest. As a doctor, I know the importance of mental health as it affects the body and it was an oversight in my error to not let you recover yoi. You can have tomorrow off even though it does affect Whitebeard’s chemotherapy schedule,” Marco finished waving his hand in your direction. He paused as if he was waiting for something.
“Thank you,” you gritted out through your teeth. Marco didn’t seem to notice your tone but did give you a curt nod as if he was expecting your thanks, like he was granting you a huge favor for not forcibly taking your blood for one single fucking day. You wanted to roll your eyes and kick him out but it wasn’t your room in the first place.
“I hope you understand how much this affects everyone else yoi,” Marco said coldly. You wanted to retort back that being nearly murdered affected you badly when the door creaked open again.
“Marco, your apology sucks,” Thatch said, folding his arms across his chest. Marco bristled but didn’t say anything further. “No man, come on. Say something real,” Thatch prodded Marco as he blocked the door with his wide frame and tacitly prevented Marco from leaving. Marco looked at his brother, shifting his weight onto one foot. He exhaled and walked over, sitting down near you on the couch. You’d been near Marco many many times but never in a casual setting like this. You almost gave him your arm out of reflex but were able to stifle the impulse at the last moment. Marco considered you with his blue eyes, like he was really seeing you as a person for the first time. He put his hands on his knees and began speaking to you softly.
“I am sorry you were almost killed. I truly am. That shouldn’t have happened and you’re not used to anything remotely like that. I’m not going to say I understand because I don’t and I can’t imagine how terrified you must have been yoi. I know you didn’t choose to be here with us and that you’d rather be home. I know. So for what it’s worth, I am sorry that you almost died. It wasn’t your fault and I’m not sure how much my promise to keep you safe is worth anymore yoi.” Marco gazed at you intensely while he spoke. You didn’t know where to look so you kept your eyes trained on your lap. Marco continued in the same calm tone.
“That being said, no, I’m not sorry for what I did today. You’re not the most important person on the ship. I’m not the most important person on the ship - it has always been and will always be Whitebeard. So yes, you get tomorrow off to recover but after that you have to go back yoi. None of us have a choice. I wish things were different, that I could drop you off on the next island, but life isn’t that simple. There’s a lot hanging in the balance, a lot more than you know. There are so many people, islands, territories that need Whitebeard’s protection. Even though you don’t want to be here, you play an important role in the fate of the world and I can’t let you go. Not yet. Can you understand that? Or at least try?”
You blinked rapidly at Marco’s statements, this the most raw emotion you’d ever heard from Marco since you’d met him. He always kept his true feelings guarded, crafting each sentence carefully to construct a meaning that didn’t necessarily match his own opinions. You preferred this real Marco to the palatable version he presented to you - at least you knew where you stood now. You looked at him as he waited for you to respond, his half lidded eyes still studying you.
“O-okay. I understand,” you said quietly, turning over Marco’s words in your mind. Thatch stood up and moved in the room giving Marco space to leave. Marco nodded at you and left, shutting the door quietly behind him. You exhaled a breath you hadn’t realized you were holding and looked over at a gently smiling Thatch.
“Seems like we have a day to plan,” he said, clapping his hands together.
“Oh, uh, I didn’t think - you still have to work though, right? It’s just me, I wasn’t expecting -” Thatch crossed the room and sat back down right next to you on the couch. Reaching onto the bookshelf he pulled off a large thesaurus and opened it, revealing a bottle of rum hidden inside. Uncorking it, he took a swig and offered it to you as well. You must have looked surprised because Thatch furrowed his brow in mock confusion.
“What? It’s the least likely book for anyone to pick up. They’d have to first use the dictionary to find out what a thesaurus is. Anyway I got good crew under me, they can handle everything for a day. We’re celebrating starting tonight, take a sip,” he said, pushing the bottle into your hands. You hadn’t had alcohol since Marco had banned you after catching you drinking three beers. The hard liquor burned your throat as it went down, warming you all the way.
“What’re we celebrating?” you asked, genuinely curious.
“You,” he said, laying a muscled arm across your back, his hand hooking around your upper arm. He pulled you into his own body, your head now leaning against his own shoulder. You snorted but didn’t object as you handed back the bottle to Thatch.
A few hours later you stumbled out of Thatch’s room. You really didn’t have all that much to drink but your tolerance was low from abstaining for so long. You wanted to catch a shower in the women’s bathroom before you went to bed - you hadn’t had a proper one since before the…event.  Walking down the now dark hallway towards the women’s quarters, you heard a conversation in progress. You thought you heard your name so you waited before turning the corner, curious to hear what the crew was saying about you.
“Tough break for that Bloodbag, eh?” you heard someone say around the corner. They called you -  Bloodbag…? Is that what everyone referred to you as when you weren’t around? You waited where you were, you wanted to eavesdrop on the rest of the conversation even though you were already on the verge of tears.
“Yeah, I mean who knew Teach had it in him? Not the killing, killing her would be easy. I’m saying the betrayal part -”
“I know, to hurt your own crew -”
“Well, she’s not crew exactly, she’s more like -”
“Like Marco’s pet, or medicine for Pops or whatever. Still would suck to be murdered by Teach though. Nasty bastard had to be put down by Captain himself. But yeah, I get you, it’s like stabbing Pops yourself. Good thing she lived,” someone continued.
“Yeah, then we would have had to find another Bloodbag. It took so long to find that one in the first place, we’d have to start all over again…” the second man trailed off as their voices and footsteps receded while they walked down the hall towards the infirmary.
Oh.
Your mind went blank as you processed what you heard, standing in the hallway unmoving for a few moments. Being tipsy didn’t help as you replayed their words in your mind over and over. You began to move robotically towards the bathrooms again, gripping your towel tightly in your hands. You didn’t really know how to feel at that moment - in some ways you were happy that the bandage had been ripped off your wound. You always suspected that the crew didn’t care about you and this had confirmed it. At least these two were being honest as opposed to Marco and Thatch and Whitebeard or anyone else who was kind of nice to you.
You spaced out for some time while your body continued to move. Your brain was consumed with going over the overheard conversation and you later found yourself in the women’s bathrooms. You were sitting in the communal bath, staring at the tiled floor wringing a washcloth between your hands. Your fingers, toes and palms were wrinkly, clueing you to the fact that you’d been in there for a while and the soreness in your fingers meant you’d been wringing the cloth for a while. None of that really mattered though. Even though the water was now cool you remained in the bath, sinking down to your neck. A firm knock resounded on the door, breaking you from your trance and making the water slosh as you sat up quickly.
“Who - who is it?” you called out. Any of the nurses wouldn’t have knocked and you guessed a killer would have just come right in.
“It’s Marco,” a familiar but muffled voice said through the thick wood. Drying yourself in a towel and covering your body in a fluffy robe, you padded towards the door. Cracking it open you saw it was indeed Marco and you pushed it open more widely.
“S-sorry, was I in here too long?” you asked, tucking your wet hair behind your ear.
“Yes, and now you’re cold but that’s not why I’m here yoi. I think we both overheard a conversation earlier that wasn’t ideal,” he said, his earlier casualness forgotten.
“You mean the bloodbag thing? I mean it wasn’t great but -” you started, minimizing your feelings. Maybe you’d journal or something later but now that you knew how things really were you didn’t feel like pouring your heart out to Marco again.
“It wasn’t appropriate and those involved are being punished -”
“Not appropriate? I - you're gonna try and deny it? Gonna try and tell me I'm anything else? I don’t care and I don’t have the energy for this. Thanks for the day off tomorrow, I’ll see you the day after," you said, shrugging your shoulders. You sidled past Marco, walking out of the bathroom. Marco extended his arm but retracted his hand, letting you pass without further incident.
You didn't know where to go now that you were tired and ready for bed - in your foolish heart you wanted to go back to Thatch’s room. But after that blood bag conversation you weren't sure if he actually enjoyed your presence or just spent time with you out of obligation to his captain. It would certainly make sense for Marco and Thatch to work together, you were much more compliant for Thatch than you were for Marco. Maybe they were playing you off one another to get you more amicable to the situation you were in. You passed the turn to Thatch's hall but kept going, avoiding the now familiar room.
You plodded on until you reached your old room, the one that - you pushed that memory out of your head as you opened the door and looked around. Someone had cleaned your walls and brought in new furniture to replace the broken furnishings. Taking a deep breath, you stepped into the room and shut the door.

A/N: Hey guys, it's been over a week but I'm back. I have some struggles in my private life that might affect the uploads but I try my best to post regularly. This chapter is a bit short but don't worry I'm working on a longer one. Right now chapter 7 has 6k words. I might post it this week or next, we'll see but til then I hope you'll enjoy this one<3
A whole week had passed since we both agreed on the whole friends-with-benefits thing. And to be honest, the weirdness in the air faded really quickly, but we also didn't get intimate the whole time, so I couldn't quite tell how long the weirdness would be gone. At least I had the time to start all over with my art project and make it watchable this time.
At the weekend, everyone was busy studying for the upcoming exams, while I had to attend another soul-sucking event my parents wanted me to. This time, I kept my mouth shut and didn't speak unless I had to. This was the first night after a long time my parents didn't call me the biggest disappointment. It felt nice. Too nice for my liking. I wasn't used to them behaving this way, but I also wasn't used to me behaving like they wanted me to behave.
I kept my back straight and my smile polite as I stood among a crowd of well-dressed people who spoke in clipped, rehearsed tones. The event hall was grand, with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, the scent of expensive perfume and champagne thick in the air. My parents were busy socializing, shaking hands with people I barely recognized, people who pretended to care about each other's achievements while secretly competing for who had the best success story to flaunt.
I hated these events. Always had.
But after hours of suffering, I was driven home by the driver of my parents, and for the first time, I felt like I wasn't a burden to them. Maybe it was my fault all along, and I was being childish and overdramatic. Maybe this was what I had to do the whole time, keep my mouth shut and do what they wanted me to for a few hours. I mean, that's the least I can do, right?
A few days later, I was sitting in the campus library, attempting to shove an entire semester's worth of knowledge into my already exhausted brain.
Spoiler alert: it wasn't working.
I stared blankly at my notes, the words blurring together into an indecipherable mess. Art history. Movements, techniques, dates. Normally, I found some level of interest in it, but today, everything felt dull and suffocating. Probably because my brain was still preoccupied with thoughts I didn't want to have.
Thoughts about that stupid event. About how easy it had been to be the daughter my parents always wanted. About how it had made me feel, lighter, in a way, but also... less. I hated that I was still thinking about it. It wasn't a big deal. I did what I had to do. That was life, right?
I sighed, rubbing my temples. Focus. I needed to focus. I had exams coming up. Real-life problems that needed my attention. The chair across from me scraped against the floor, and before I even looked up, I knew who it was.
Jungkook.
Because of course, the universe wasn't going to let me sit in peace and overthink my existence in solitude.
He plopped down, a lazy grin tugging at his lips as he leaned forward, resting his arms on the table. "You look miserable for someone who is a bit overdressed."
I shot him a flat look. "That's because I am miserable."
He snorted, peeking at my notes. "Cramming last minute?"
"No, I just love spending my free time reading about 18th-century brush techniques."
Jungkook smirked. "Sexy."
I rolled my eyes. "Why are you here?"
He shrugged. "Felt like annoying you."
Of course he did.
I sighed, tapping my pen against my notebook. Jungkook had an annoying talent for making me forget whatever I was brooding about, and as much as I wanted to stay in my little bubble of self-pity, part of me was relieved he was here.
"Did you even study?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him.
He leaned back, stretching his arms over his head. "Nope. Just gonna wing it."
I groaned. "You can't just wing it. These exams are-"
"Relax, I'll be fine." He tilted his head, studying me for a second. "You, on the other hand, look like you might explode."
"That's because I might explode."
He chuckled, and then his gaze softened slightly. "Still thinking about the event?"
I hesitated. I hadn't told him much, just the basics. That it had been suffocating. That my parents had, for once, not looked at me like I was a letdown. I hadn't told him the part where I wasn't sure how I felt about it.
Jungkook sighed, leaning forward again. "Look, I know you want them to see you. Really see you. But don't lose yourself trying to be someone you're not."
I swallowed. "I'm not."
He raised an eyebrow.
I exhaled sharply. "I just... I don't know. Maybe I make things harder than they have to be."
Jungkook studied me, then reached over, plucking my pen from my hand. "Let's take a break."
I frowned. "I can't."
"Yes, you can." He smirked. "Come on, let's go get food. You're going to fail your exams and die of stress at this rate."
I stared at him, my mind warring between wanting to be responsible and knowing he was right.
Finally, I sighed. "Fine."
His grin widened. "Knew you'd see reason."
On our way out, we nearly crashed into Namjoon, who looked like he was one all-nighter away from complete collapse. His arms are stacked with books, thick ones, the kind that makes you reconsider your entire life's choices, and the dark bags under his eyes suggest he hasn't seen the sun in days. He doesn't even seem to notice us. Or anyone, really. Just a man and his books, locked in an academic death match.
"Dude," Jungkook says, stepping aside before Namjoon accidentally bulldozes through him. "Blink twice if you're alive."
Namjoon blinks exactly zero times.
I tilt my head, eyeing his precariously stacked tower of textbooks. "Do you need help?"
Namjoon finally registers our existence, blinking blearily like he's just now remembering the concept of human interaction. "No, no, I'm good," he mutters, adjusting the books in his grip. One slides dangerously close to the edge, and I instinctively reach out, steadying it before it topples.
"You sure?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
He sighs, clearly not sure, but Namjoon being Namjoon, he nods anyway. "Just... finals. You know how it is."
Jungkook smirks. "Can't relate."
I shoot him a look. "That's because you have the study habits of a cockroach."
Jungkook shrugs, entirely unbothered. "Hey, cockroaches survive everything."
Namjoon barely reacts, just exhales tiredly. "I should go. Still have three chapters to get through before my next class."
Jungkook looks as if he saw a dinosaur. "Is this some rich kid stuff?"
"Jungkook...that's called studying," I say with zero emotion.
He lifts his arms in a motion that makes me read his mind. "no need to get personal" would his exact words be.
After giving him a not-so-friendly look, he speaks again, "And when was the last time you slept?"
Namjoon pauses as if actually having to dig through his brain for the answer. That in itself is concerning.
I cross my arms. "Namjoon."
"Technically, I napped for twenty minutes on my desk," he says as if that's supposed to reassure me.
Jungkook grins. "Damn. That's worse than you, Y/N."
I ignore him. "Namjoon, you're going to pass out if you keep this up."
"I can't fail this class," he says, almost desperately. "If I don't-"
"Yeah, yeah, your entire academic career crumbles, and life as you know it ends," Jungkook deadpans. "We get it."
I shoot him another glare before turning back to Namjoon. "At least eat something," I insist. "We're getting food. Come with us."
Namjoon hesitates, glancing at his books like they might get up and walk away if he abandons them for too long.
Jungkook nudges him. "Come on, brainiac. You'll study better if you're actually conscious."
Namjoon sighs, rubbing a hand over his exhausted face. "Fine. But only for a little bit."
"See?" Jungkook grins, throwing an arm around Namjoon's shoulder as we walk out. "This is why we're friends. We save you from yourself."
Namjoon just groans. "I already regret this."
I laugh. "Too late."
***
Another few days had passed, making today a Friday. Normally, I would be happy, but I knew I would be studying the whole weekend without any break.
Or so I thought.
By the time the evening rolled around, my brain was already fried from staring at the same notes all day. My eyes felt like they were going to melt out of my skull, and the idea of spending another two days like this made me want to throw myself into oncoming traffic.
I sighed, stretching my arms over my head when my phone buzzed on my desk.
Jungkook: Get dressed. We're going out.
I frowned at the screen.
Me: No.
Jungkook: Yes.
Me: I have exams, and you too, idiot.
Jungkook: And you also have a life. Come on, just a few hours. You're going to fail if you burn out.
He wasn't wrong. Not that I was about to admit that.
Me: Where?
Jungkook: That's the spirit. I'll be outside in 10.
I groaned, rubbing my hands down my face. Was I really doing this? Was I really going to let Jungkook drag me out when I should be knee-deep in revision?
Apparently, yes.
With minimal effort, I threw on something decent, not bothering too much because, knowing Jungkook, we weren't going anywhere fancy.
When I stepped outside, he was already there, leaning against his bike like he had all the time in the world. He whistled when he saw me. "Hot."
I rolled my eyes. "This is a bad idea."
"Probably." He tossed me a helmet. "Come on."
I hesitated for exactly two seconds before sighing and climbing on behind him.
Jungkook didn't tell me where we were going, which should've been a red flag, but at this point, I was too tired to fight him. The city lights blurred past as we sped through the streets, the cool air against my skin waking me up more than caffeine ever could.
Eventually, we stopped in front of a small but crowded bar tucked between two buildings. The neon sign flickered slightly, and I could already hear the bass of whatever song was playing inside.
I raised an eyebrow. "Really? A bar? Again? This won't end up well."
Jungkook shrugged. "Thought you could use a drink."
I gave him an exhausted look. "Jungkook."
"It'll help, I promise."
I sighed. "Fine. One drink."
Inside, the place was packed with students who had also clearly given up on pretending to be responsible. The music wasn't deafening, but it was loud enough that conversations had to be spoken close. Jungkook led us to a booth in the corner, ordering drinks without even asking me what I wanted.
Minutes later, I was nursing a cold glass in my hands, already feeling some of the stress slipping away. Maybe Jungkook was onto something. Maybe I did need a break.
That's when I saw him.
Across the room, leaning against the bar, talking to some girl with an easy smirk. My ex. The ex who had fucked my so-called "friend" behind my back.
My stomach twisted. Because of course, of all places, of all nights, he had to be here too.
Jungkook followed my gaze, then leaned in slightly. "You okay?"
I swallowed, forcing a small smile. "Yeah. Totally."
Lies. Jungkook didn't look convinced. His eyes flickered between me and the scene unfolding across the bar, where my ex was now leaning in, whispering something in the girl's ear that made her giggle. My grip tightened around my glass.
"Want me to punch him?" Jungkook asked casually, taking a sip of his drink. He didn't know who this guy was, but he could tell that something had happened between us.
I snorted. "Tempting. But no."
He hummed, tilting his head. "I could just trip him on his way to the bathroom. Real subtle."
"Jungkook."
"What?" He shrugged. "Assholes deserve consequences."
I sighed, forcing myself to look away. I was over it. Or at least, I was supposed to be. It had been months since the breakup, and I had no business still feeling anything about it. But seeing him now, so unbothered, so fine, yeah, it stung.
Maybe it was less about him and more about the fact that I had spent so much time feeling like shit while he got to walk around acting like he never did anything wrong. Like I never even mattered.
"Hey," Jungkook said, nudging my knee with his. "You want to leave?"
I thought about it. I thought about bolting out the door, about locking myself in my room and pretending I never saw him. But then I imagined him seeing me do that. Imagined him thinking I still cared enough to let him ruin my night.
"No." I squared my shoulders. "I'm fine."
Jungkook watched me for a beat, then smirked. "Then let's make him uncomfortable."
I frowned. "What?"
But before I could fully process what was happening, Jungkook was moving closer, slinging an arm over the back of the booth behind me. His fingers brushed against my shoulder as he leaned in, his breath warm against my ear.
I tensed. "Jeon-"
He grinned. "Relax. Just making sure he sees you having a great time."
I rolled my eyes, but the corner of my mouth twitched. "You're ridiculous."
"Maybe." His smirk widened. "But you're smiling now."
Damn it. He was right.
And, because the universe has a twisted sense of humor, when I finally let myself relax, when I finally let Jungkook distract me, that's when my ex noticed us. I felt it before I saw it. That shift in the air, the weight of an unwelcome gaze settling on me.
Slowly, I turned my head, meeting his eyes across the bar.
His smirk faltered. His jaw tightened.
And I, just to be petty, leaned into Jungkook's touch, tilting my head slightly as I laughed at something he whispered in my ear.
My ex's expression darkened.
"Alright," Jungkook murmured, his voice dripping with amusement. "Now this is fun."
I took a slow sip of my drink, my eyes still locked with my ex's. His date was saying something to him, but he wasn't listening anymore. His focus was on me.
Jungkook chuckled, a low and amused sound. "He looks like he just bit into a lemon."
"Good," I muttered.
Jungkook tilted his head. "Want to really piss him off?"
I turned to him, raising an eyebrow. "What exactly are you suggesting?"
He smirked. "Come dance with me."
I hesitated. That was a dangerous idea. Jungkook was already dangerously attractive, and if we danced, really danced, there was no way my ex wouldn't take notice.
But wasn't that the whole point?
"Fine," I said, grabbing his hand and dragging him towards the dance floor before I could overthink it.
The music pulsed around us, the bass vibrating through the floor. The crowd moved as one, bodies pressed close, the air thick with heat and energy. Jungkook pulled me into him, his hands settling low on my waist as he moved to the beat.
"You sure you can handle this, Kook?" I teased, wrapping my arms around his neck.
He grinned. "You have no idea."
And then he really started dancing. Smooth, fluid movements that had me pressed flush against him, his hands guiding my hips in sync with his own. It was effortless, natural, the kind of chemistry that made the whole room fade away.
I knew my ex was watching. I felt his stare burning into my skin. And then, because I was feeling bold, reckless, and petty, I tipped my chin up, brushing my lips against Jungkook's ear.
"Kiss me," I whispered.
Jungkook stilled for half a second. Just a half second. Then his hands tightened on my waist, and he pulled me in, crashing his lips onto mine.
It wasn't soft. It wasn't careful. It was heat and tension and something electric. His fingers dug into my hips, pulling me closer, and I let out a sound I swore was just for effect. But then he deepened the kiss, one hand sliding up my back, and suddenly I wasn't thinking about my ex anymore.
I was only thinking about him.
The crowd pressed around us, bodies moving, music pounding, but all I could feel was Jungkook, his touch, his breath, the way he kissed me like he meant it.
When we finally pulled away, I was breathless. Jungkook's eyes were dark, unreadable, his chest rising and falling.
"Well," he murmured, lips ghosting against mine. "That should do it."
I blinked, momentarily forgetting what it even was. But then I caught a glimpse of my ex storming toward the exit, and I smirked. Maybe this whole friends with benefits wasn't a bad thing after all. To be honest, this man can kiss, and holy shit, the things I would do to feel these lips again.
"Mission accomplished."
Jungkook laughed, shaking his head. "You're trouble."
I shrugged. "You knew that already."
He hummed, eyes dropping to my lips. "Yeah. But I think I like it."
Jungkook's eyes flickered to my lips again, his tongue darting out to wet his own like he was contemplating something. My heart was still hammering against my ribs, my skin buzzing in a way that had nothing to do with the alcohol. And the worst part? I didn't want it to stop.
"Wanna get out of here?" Jungkook murmured, his voice low, intimate, just for me.
I should have said no. I should have laughed it off, pushed him away, made some joke to diffuse whatever the hell was happening between us.
But I didn't.
Instead, I nodded. "Yeah. Let's go."
His smirk deepened, and before I could second-guess myself, he was grabbing my hand and leading me through the throng of people. I barely registered the bodies we brushed past, the music pounding in my ears. My focus was only on him, the warmth of his hand, the way his grip tightened slightly like he was making sure I wouldn't change my mind.
Outside, the cool night air hit me like a slap, sobering but not enough to shake off the way Jungkook was looking at me. Like I was something he wanted to devour.
"So..." he drawled, leaning against his bike, watching me with that lazy smirk. "What now?"
I swallowed. I should go home. I should get back to my notes, to my exams, to my sanity. But I wasn't thinking straight. I stepped closer, reaching for his jacket, fingers curling around the fabric. "Take me home." His smirk faltered for just a second, his dark eyes searching mine. And then—
"Yeah," he exhaled, voice rough. "Okay."
The ride back was a blur. I barely felt the wind against my skin, and barely noticed the city lights flashing past. All I could focus on was the warmth of Jungkook's body in front of me, the way my arms were wrapped around his torso, my fingers clutching at his shirt.
By the time we reached my place, I was already breathless. I slid off the bike, turning to face him. He didn't move, just sat there, watching me like he was waiting for me to say something.
"Come inside," I said before I could stop myself.
His eyes darkened. "You sure?"
I nodded.
He killed the engine, swung his leg over, and followed me inside without another word. The door had barely clicked shut before he was on me. His hands were everywhere, gripping my waist, sliding up my back, threading into my hair as his lips crashed onto mine again, hungrier this time. I gasped against his mouth, my fingers tugging at his jacket, and he groaned, deep and low, before shrugging it off.
"This is a bad idea. I have to study," I muttered against his lips.
Jungkook grinned. "Fuck it."
And then we weren't talking anymore. His lips were insistent, pressing against mine like he had something to prove like this was something inevitable. My back hit the door, his hands skimming down my sides, fingers gripping just tight enough to make my breath catch.
I should stop this.
But then he exhaled against my skin, his lips trailing along my jaw, and suddenly, stopping felt like the last thing I wanted to do.
"Let me take all your stress away," Jungkook murmured against my collarbone, his voice low, and rough, his hands slipping beneath my shirt's hem.
I grabbed fistfuls of his t-shirt, dragging him closer, pulling him into me until there was no space left between us. I felt his smirk before he kissed me again, deep and slow this time like he was savoring it. Like he knew exactly what he was doing to me.
Somewhere in the mess of limbs and heat, we stumbled toward my couch. The backs of his knees hit the edge, and he let himself fall, pulling me down with him. I was sitting on his lap, and his dark eyes locked onto mine.
"Want to fuck you so bad," he murmured.
"Stop talking" I whispered back, my fingers tracing up his neck.
Jungkook's jaw tightened, his eyes flickering between mine before he kissed me again. I started feeling him growing harder underneath me, making me let out a soft moan. Without thinking any further, my hips started grinding against his slowly. Jungkook let out a muffled "fuck" against my lips before his tattooed hand trailed down to my ass.
Another moan escaped my mouth when I felt him gripping my ass.
"I'll come if you continue making these noises," his voice is husky, making me wetter than I was before.
I couldn't think straight as soon as his other hand started massaging my breasts. At that moment, I knew I was fucked. At that moment, I knew he had me wrapped around his finger, and holy shit, I hated it. I hated that he had this much power over me right now. That if he would stop, I'd beg him to continue.
"Fuck, Koo," my whines brought out a low groan out of him, and our movements became faster.
His hand left my ass and went up to stroke my hair. My head fell on his shoulder while my breathing became more uneven.
"I'm so close baby" Jungkook brings out before he said, "Fuck you're so perfect".
A loud whine escaped my mouth and my fingers tightened around the fabric of his shirt. And a few moments later, we both came. I should've said something. I should've broken the tension, made some jokes, and kept things light before my brain caught up with my body and started overthinking everything.
Instead, Jungkook beat me to it.
"Shit," he muttered, "That was..."
"Yeah," I exhaled, turning my head to look at him.
Silence stretched between us, not exactly uncomfortable, but definitely charged. His fingers traced lazy patterns against my skin, absentminded but deliberate.
"Are we going to pretend this didn't happen?" I asked finally, forcing some kind of normalcy into my voice.
Jungkook tilted his head toward me, his lips twitching into something almost amused. "Do you want to pretend it didn't happen?"
I opened my mouth, ready to say yes, ready to make this easy, but then he dragged his fingers up my side, his touch featherlight, and my body betrayed me with a shiver.
His smirk deepened. "That's what I thought."
I groaned, burying my face in the crook of his neck. "You're insufferable."
"And yet, you dry-humped me."
I moved my head to glare at him again. "This doesn't mean anything."
Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "Sure."
I huffed. "I'm serious. This was just... stress relief. A one-time thing."
"Right."
"Jungkook."
"Y/N."
I narrowed my eyes. He was enjoying this way too much.
"Whatever," I muttered, suddenly exhausted.
Jungkook chuckled. "If you say so."
Silence again, but this time, it felt heavier.  I should tell him to leave. I should establish some kind of boundary before this got messy.
But I didn't.
"Wanna stay?" I said instead, and the next thing I remember is him lying beside me in only sweatpants.
