Then I remembered that vampires can’t die without specific circumstances. Donnie knew that, and therefore knew the fall wouldn’t kill him. Hurt and knock him out? Sure. But not kill.

And when he holds up his staff in preparation to cut the chains, there’s a moment of hesitation and brief struggle as he summons the strength to even do it.

LOOKIT. This does not look like the face of someone who is satisfied with his actions. He’s seriously gonna be haunted by this for a long time 😞

I was so hesitant to read this because it's the only one of the collab I haven't yet, and yeonjun's hasn't been published as far as I know, but oh my goodness gracious do I regret not reading it sooner????

everything about this fix has such raw emotion in it, I have no idea how people can write like this it's so???? beautiful???? everything about it was perfect, from the characters to the dialogue to lore 😭 I could imagine everything so vividly it felt like watching a movie but so much better, I'm actually heartbroken I finished it

Soobin's character makes me cry because he's so sweet :( he was battling demons from the beginning, just to lose his father in the war. I can't even imagine what that must have felt like, even if he is fictional. I know I'd turn out just like him 😭 I swear I broke into tears when he left yn at the beach without saying anything after using them like that, it was disgusting and made stomach churn and everything I was so mad 😭😭😭 poor baby soob 😞 I wonder if he was possessed by his father or something or if the grief just hit him that hard "I'm spending time with my father" THE TEARS THAT FELL OUT OF MY EYES. OCEANS, RIVERS, LAKES. I was gushing bro it's so not funny. Y/n's character was so odd but so relatable??? they literally made absolutely no sense throughout this whole fic but perfect sense at the same time. Like at the beginning, when they fought with Soobin for not being petty, and in the middle when they were annoyed by Soobin asking why people don't just stop fighting. They definitely seem like a pessimist, which is what makes their dynamic with Soobin—who's way more optimistic—so perfect??? Soobin brings out the good side in them and it's absolutely adorable. That scene where he left them at the beach HURT LIKE HECK especially seeing it from y/n's pov. Broke my heart in two them crushed it into powder. And when he told them they're not welcome at the palace anymore?? yikes 💀 They're stronger than me fr I would've burst into tears on the spot. Just having to go from him being your best friend to having him shun you and use him for his own gain as well as now having to refer to him as "your highness" would've been enough for me to just shrivel up and die 😭 I could not deal. I'm so glad that you didn't just accept Soobin's apology at the end and let him know he still has to regain their trust. I feel like they always just dust it under the rug and forget about it no matter what they've done and it's so messed up??? no matter what state of mind he was in, he hurt yn practically beyond healing and nothing excuses that. I'm still glad they made up at the end though 😞😞😞

AS FOR YEONJUN HEJSISJS he's so mysterious and glorious 😊 at the time that I'm reading this, concept pictures came out with him having orange hair and some blonde highlights and it makes his hair look like fire, so I kept imagining it reading this and it fits so well???? I find it so weird that he doesn't want to avenge his father like Soobin does, because stereotypically they're the exact opposite. I really wanted to see how he'd react to yn telling him all this at the end but 😭 I find his character so interesting in this and even though he wasn't even in here I could not get my mind off him (maybe I'm obsessed who knows) but the ending was still so sweet, especially with the tradition of the cake with strawberries and whipped cream it's so cute :(

So nowwww lemme tell u my reaction to em: (spoilers for the other endings are under the cut, specifically the no one bluff option, trusting kaveh, n trusting kazuha!!)

First, no one bluff option

HAHAHAHA I HAD A GOOD LAUGH WITH THIS ONE!! At first tho, i typed "u suck" but then the loop happened and i tried smth else which was "sucker" AND IT WORKED

PLIS IT'S SO FUNNY ANSHSJWIHE

"Yes, my real name is sucker." 😭😭😭😭 and the story continued with his name being sucker and i swear i cant take the whole thing seriously lmaoo

As for the rose bits: Alhaitham's story is very much riddled with references from "The Little Prince"! I just think there's not enough fics where Alhaitham actually uses his linguistics degree for something because he gives such strong man-from-STEM vibes compared to Kaveh lmao. Such a good classic book, made me sob. I'd spoil you (can people even spoil decades old literature???) the whole story but I won't lol. For the context of the fic, what I put there is enough.

There's a part in the main fanfic (not the game, just the tumblr post itself) where (y/n) recalls how kid!Alhaitham gave them a sumeru rose but they thought he was messing with them cause there's a grasshopper in it that he didn't notice lmao. He's very much in love with you, he just sucks at expressing his crush 👉👈.

I was gonna make his part longer but it's not fair for the other three love interests (and myself lol). There were supposed to be moments where I explain how Alhaitham did try to date other people (funniest sht was it's supposed to be yae miko so I can fit "the little prince first tamed the fox before realizing he loves his rose so much" theme lol) but he just can't get over his obsession with you even though you're [R E D A C T E D]. Ejeiie I wish you got ____'s end cuz I wanted to spill those brainrots 😭😭😭

Mochi: "Do you wanna insult me or love me?"

Alhaitham: Do you want to accuse me of murder or do you want to trust me and get my ending.

The "no one, bluff" option is the first concrete ending I wrote. I think it's solid, if you figured out the whole story lol. It's worth playing through, promise 😔. Just don't input weird names or you'll be stuck forever in that "insert name screen" lmao.

Aka: don't put "amongus". I added a command that you can't fricking put "amongus" or "ansytea" cause I know one of you will do it 😭😭😭

(You're free to change Alhaitham's name to anything in his ending because I just wanted to call him "Dainsleif" and pretend this is a Dainsleif ending, alhaitham who, never met him–)
