why is everything (showing other people respect. being patient and kind. not flying off the handle about stupid things. emotional regulation and self-control. et cetera.) so easy when I'm not around my parents and so so so so hard when I AM around them?

I don't want to see Robin being a good queer mentor to Will. I want her to be so broken inside that all the advice she gives is 1) clearly her projecting 2) sardonically pesimistic and 3) simply bad, terrible advice. I want to see her rambling about her own traumas and end by telling Will the world sucks, that everyone hates you, there's no happy endings and the best thing you can do is crawl into a hole in the earth and cry.

Will feels slightly intimidating watching this weird girl have a mental breakdown in front of him, so he just says "I think I'm gonna go ask Steve"

btw funniest option for reverseverse archangel siblings is that lucifer & michael are the twowith the dead mom killed by a demon, and gabriel and raphael are accidents that happened along the way that chuck kidnapped

#Doodles #The Stanley Parable #TSP #Because HD Remix Stanley and Ultra Deluxe Stanley have basically the same character model I've never felt the need to differentiate them #I'll joke sometimes about Stanley's soul patch but other than that lol ♪#But the HL Mod uses a different character model in the intro! Different clothes different hairline different skin tone!#So I went and looked around at what character model he might be - there are about ten male Citizen models in HL2 so there's some options #I was convinced he was either 07 or 09 and smol helped me settle on 07 - I was content to just leave it at that but then #I decided that since it's a mod I can just go dig through the backend files and get some actual confirmation #And I only found files related to mCitizens 05 and 06?? Which was definitely not the skin tones or textures as seen in game #So I dug around a little more and there's a face map of a blue-eyed man just hanging out in the files?? :0 Who is he #We never see that Stanley from the front and I couldn't figure out how to move the camera around in the intro cutscene :(#I'm not even sure if it isn't prerendered lol - if it isn't I'd also consider plugging in some body model glitch cheats but I don't know how #So! For the meantime I'm satisfied enough to just use the face map as a general indication of Maybe Stanley #As well as what we can see from behind and to the side - at least enough to make some guesses!#The main differences are his clothes - hair - and I swear I see a mole next to his right ear on his behind-view #The face map also has a mole above his lip hehe ♪ It's cute!#I'm not sure how much HL Mod Stanley would differ from HD Remix - they share a handful of actions!#I do still think he'd be indignant to the Narrator's shenaniganary lol #I could also see him a bit younger :) From a literal understanding of the mod coming before the full release lol #But I also just enjoy HL Mod Narrator being like thiiiiis much more paternal than all his other iterations - ''Daddy'' notwithstanding lol #Him calling Stanley ''sport'' started right here! on today’s thalialuke thoughts, the reason why thalia is able to cut off luke so quickly whereas annabeth isn’t is because it makes sense for thalia that luke got there. thalia knew luke better than annabeth ever did, she knew how much she hated his parents and how much resentment he held against the gods. and above all, she knew how he had started to act since his visit to may castellan’s and his talk with hermes. annabeth does not (says thalia) bc she was 7 and understood up to the point of “luke’s parents make him upset”. so thalia has seen luke already pushing it and making bad choices and then she dies and then she wakes up again and she’s immediately told that he’s gone, that he’s made an awful choice and she mourns him and it breaks her heart but it checks out. thalia can see how he got there and she knows how strongly he hates his dad and the gods and it still hurts her to go against him but if anything, going against him and seeing him fully as kronos’ little pawn, it solidifies her understanding that there’s no bringing him back, luke is gone. she won’t go soft on him because she knows that his choices go way beyond what they had, the family they had. thalia understands there is no bringing him back while annabeth hopes she still can somehow.

tldr; thalia understood luke’s motives better than annabeth, hence why she is way more tough on her approach to luke.

#also also also. thalia choosing the hunters is so giving Luke up #he’s never coming back and she knows it. she won’t even entertain the idea of waiting for him.#i also think that maybe if annabeth had not been there thalia might have maybe killed Luke in trc #it would have destroyed her heart but I think she would have been able to go through with it. i can’t remember if she does push him to his #‘death’ or if he just falls. need to double check. but yeah.#it’s so so so so. bc annabeth is so much younger and Luke is her hero and despite her wisdom and everything she really never got to a point #where she really saw or understood or grasped Luke’s more radical thoughts me thinks #and I think maybe Luke shielded her from it a little bit too #it was mostly passing comments about how their parents didn’t care about them or anything #but as annabeth fell asleep and Luke and thalia stayed up on watch and protecting the 7 year old #they would be able to talk about all the worst of the worst and Luke’s hatred and all would probably come oozing out
