The Silverstone paddock buzzed with its usual chaos. Engines roared in the background, journalists hustled between interviews, and fans craned their necks for glimpses of their favorite drivers. Among the crowd, a young boy with a mop of dark hair and a light blue hoodie clung to his mother’s hand, his face alight with wonder.
“Mom, this is the best day ever!” he exclaimed, his small feet practically bouncing with excitement.
His mother, Y/N, smiled down at him, squeezing his hand gently. “I’m glad you’re having fun, Leo. But remember, we have to stick together, okay? This place can get pretty crowded.”
Leo nodded earnestly, his big brown eyes scanning the bustling paddock. At just six years old, he already knew more about Formula 1 than most adults, a passion inherited from his mom. Y/N had grown up watching races with her dad, and now, as a single mother, she shared that same love with her son.
Leo’s favorite driver, without question, was Lando Norris. His room was decorated with McLaren posters, his toy cars all painted papaya orange, and his wardrobe—thanks to Y/N—now included Lando’s newly launched children’s merch line. The hoodie he wore today was his favorite piece, and he hadn’t stopped talking about it since it arrived in the mail.
“Do you think we’ll see him, Mom?” Leo asked, craning his neck to peer around a group of photographers.
Y/N crouched down to his level, brushing a stray curl from his forehead. “Maybe, sweetheart. We have paddock passes, so there’s a chance. But remember, the drivers are super busy, so we have to be patient.”
Leo nodded, though the excitement in his eyes didn’t dim. He clutched the small notepad and marker he’d brought, just in case he got the chance to ask for an autograph.
As they wandered through the paddock, Y/N couldn’t help but feel a wave of nostalgia. It had been years since she’d attended a race in person, but seeing it through Leo’s eyes made it even more magical.
“Mom! Look!” Leo’s voice was a mix of awe and urgency as he tugged on her hand.
Y/N followed his gaze and froze. Just a few feet away, leaning casually against a barrier and chatting with a team member, was Lando Norris himself.
“Go on,” Y/N encouraged softly, her heart swelling at the sight of her son’s hero so close.
Leo hesitated for a moment, his small frame vibrating with nervous energy. Then, with a deep breath, he squared his shoulders and marched forward.
“Hi, Lando!” he said, his voice high-pitched but clear. “You’re my favorite driver!”
Lando turned, his trademark grin lighting up his face as he crouched to Leo’s level. “Hey, buddy! Thanks for saying that. What’s your name?”
“Leo!” he said proudly, puffing out his chest. “And look! I’m wearing your hoodie!”
Lando’s eyes lit up as he took in the light blue hoodie, the logo of his brand displayed prominently on the front. “No way! That looks awesome on you, Leo. You’ve got great taste.”
Leo beamed, clutching the fabric of his hoodie. “My mom got it for me. She says you’re really cool, too!”
Y/N, who had been hanging back to give Leo his moment, felt her cheeks flush as Lando’s gaze shifted to her. He stood, his grin softening into something more genuine.
“Your mom sounds pretty cool herself,” he said, his voice warm.
Y/N stepped forward, laughing nervously. “Well, I’ve been a fan of the sport for a long time, so I guess I’m passing it on.”
“You’re doing a great job,” Lando said, glancing down at Leo, who was now rifling through his notepad. “It’s always nice to meet fans like you two.”
Leo held up the notepad eagerly. “Can you sign this? Please?”
“Of course!” Lando took the marker and scribbled a quick note, adding a little doodle of a race car next to his signature.
As he handed the notepad back, he turned to Y/N again. “Are you two here for the whole weekend?”
“Yes,” Y/N said. “It’s Leo’s first race, so I wanted to make it special.”
“Well, I think you’ve done a pretty good job so far,” Lando said, his tone teasing.
Y/N laughed, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. “Thanks. He’s been counting down the days for months.”
Lando crouched down again, ruffling Leo’s hair. “I hope you have the best time, Leo. And make sure you cheer extra loud for me, okay?”
“I will!” Leo promised, his face glowing with happiness.
As they walked away, Leo clutching his notepad like a treasure, Y/N glanced back over her shoulder. To her surprise, Lando was still watching them, a thoughtful smile on his face.
“Mom,” Leo said, looking up at her. “That was the best moment of my whole life.”
Y/N smiled, her heart full. “Mine too, sweetheart.”
Little did she know, it wasn’t the last time she’d see that thoughtful smile.
The rest of the day passed in a blur of excitement. Leo couldn’t stop talking about meeting Lando, recounting every detail of their conversation to anyone who would listen. Y/N smiled through it all, her heart full as she watched her son’s joy.
But as much as she tried to focus on the moment, she couldn’t quite shake the memory of Lando’s lingering gaze or the warmth in his voice when he spoke to her. It was probably nothing, she told herself. He was just being kind, like he always was with fans.
The next day, Y/N and Leo returned to the paddock, both dressed in their McLaren gear. Leo wore his hoodie again, proudly showing off the autograph Lando had added to the sleeve. The boy was on cloud nine, and Y/N couldn’t imagine how the weekend could get any better.
But then, it did.
As they wandered near the McLaren garage, a team member approached them with a friendly smile.
“Excuse me, are you Leo?”
Leo’s eyes widened as he nodded. “Yes! That’s me!”
The team member chuckled. “Lando mentioned meeting you yesterday. He thought you might like a closer look at the garage. Would you and your mom like to come in?”
Y/N blinked in surprise, her heart skipping a beat. “Are you serious?”
“Absolutely. Follow me.”
Leo practically dragged Y/N by the hand as they followed the team member into the garage. The space was a hive of activity, with engineers working on the cars and team members preparing for the upcoming qualifying session.
Lando was there, of course, leaning casually against the side of his car as he chatted with his race engineer. When he spotted Leo and Y/N, his face lit up with a grin.
“Leo! You made it!”
Leo beamed, running up to him. “This is so cool! Thank you, Lando!”
“Anything for my number one fan,” Lando said, ruffling Leo’s hair. He glanced at Y/N, his smile softening. “Glad you could make it, too.”
“I can’t believe this,” Y/N said, shaking her head. “This is amazing. Thank you so much.”
Lando shrugged, his eyes twinkling. “It’s nothing, really. I just wanted to make sure Leo had a weekend to remember.”
Leo was already engrossed in a conversation with one of the engineers, who was showing him the car’s steering wheel. Y/N took the opportunity to step closer to Lando.
“You didn’t have to do this,” she said, her voice low. “But it means the world to him. To both of us.”
Lando tilted his head, his gaze steady. “I could tell how much this means to you two. And honestly, it’s nice to meet fans who care about more than just the results. You’ve raised a great kid.”
Y/N felt a blush creep up her neck. “Thank you. That means a lot.”
They stood there for a moment, the noise of the garage fading into the background. Lando’s easy smile and the warmth in his eyes made her feel something she hadn’t felt in a long time—hope.
“Mom! Look!” Leo’s excited voice broke the moment as he ran over, holding a small piece of carbon fiber. “They gave me a piece of the car! Isn’t that cool?”
“That’s amazing, sweetheart,” Y/N said, crouching to his level. “You’ll have to find a special place for it at home.”
Leo nodded enthusiastically before turning back to Lando. “You’re the best driver ever!”
Lando laughed, crouching down to Leo’s level. “And you’re the best fan ever. Deal?”
“Deal!”
As they left the garage, Y/N couldn’t help but glance back one last time. Lando caught her eye and gave her a small wave, his smile lingering.
The rest of the weekend was a whirlwind of excitement. Leo cheered his heart out during qualifying and the race, and when Lando crossed the finish line in fourth place, he celebrated as if it were a win.
But the real surprise came after the race. As Y/N and Leo were preparing to leave, a McLaren team member approached them again, this time with an envelope.
“Lando asked me to give this to you,” he said, handing it to Y/N.
Curious, she opened it. Inside was a handwritten note:
Y/N and Leo, Thank you for making this weekend unforgettable. Leo, keep being the amazing fan you are. And Y/N, if you’re ever at another race, I’d love to see you again. Maybe we can grab a coffee sometime? -Lando
Y/N’s breath caught in her throat as she read the note. She glanced at Leo, who was already excitedly telling a passerby about his piece of the car, and then back at the note.
Maybe, just maybe, this weekend wasn’t just a dream come true for Leo.

—as long as it's you
ft. Sae Itoshi
summary: everything was in place, but when his mother accidentally reveals the surprise, sae has to improvise. wc. 1.3 k
Tumblr media
Sae had it all planned out.
He wasn’t the type to make grand romantic gestures; he preferred to keep things simple and understated.
But for you, he wanted to try, because he knew you deserved nothing less.
You loved people, gatherings, and celebrations. You thrived in the presence of those you held dear, so he’d taken note of every little thing you loved and orchestrated an evening just for you. Sae rented out the quaint, secluded garden café that had become your spot—a place where you made countless memories with.
The place would be adorned with soft fairy lights, casting a golden glow over the field. To top it all off, he had planned a fireworks display that would light up the night sky with the words: Will you marry me?
He really was going all out for this.
The tables would be draped in elegant linen and scattered with your favorite flowers. He’d chosen a menu you would love, with dishes catered to every one of your favorites, down to the dessert: the same tiramisu you raved about during your first date.
It's great because it's so unbelievably out-of-character for him to do that you'd never guess it.
And then there was the ring.
He’d spent weeks looking for the perfect one, turning down countless designs until he found a jeweler in Italy who could create something unique—something as special as you. A custom piece: a delicate rose-gold band with a center diamond that sparkled like starlight, flanked by tiny sapphires to match the color of his eyes.
The ring had finally arrived today, nestled in an elegant velvet box. He held it in his hands for a moment, marveling at how something so small could hold so much meaning. The anticipation was almost unbearable, but there was still time to wait. He tucked the box into a drawer in his study before heading out to handle some business, reminding himself to grab it later.
Just as he was leaving, his mother noticed the package in his hand. "What’s that, Sae?" she asked, her tone light and curious.
He hesitated, then gave a faint smile. "Just something for y/n."
But fate, as it often does, had other plans.
Later that afternoon, you dropped by on a whim. "I just wanted to visit," you said with that radiant smile of yours, and Sae’s mother welcomed you warmly. She adored you—always had, ever since you and Sae were kids running around the neighborhood together.
As you chatted with Sae’s mother over tea, her voice turned light and casual, as if she were sharing a harmless little secret. “Oh, I almost forgot,” she said, setting her cup down with a soft clink. “Sae mentioned he got something for you. It’s in the study drawer over there. You should go get it.”
Your eyes immediately lit up with curiosity, a delighted smile spreading across your face. “Really? What is it?!” you asked, excitement bubbling in your tone as you pushed your chair back and made your way toward the study.
Sae’s mother opened her mouth, realizing her mistake too late. “Oh, wait—” she started, but you were already out of earshot.
In the study, you scanned the room quickly before spotting the drawer she mentioned. With eager hands, you pulled it open and found a small, elegant box sitting right on top. The rich, deep velvet of the box alone made your heart race.
You gasped softly, fingers trembling slightly as you lifted it from the drawer. It felt heavier than you expected, the weight somehow adding to the anticipation. Holding your breath, you carefully opened it, and there it was—the engagement ring.
The soft light from the study window caught the diamond, sending a brilliant array of colors dancing across the room. The intricate rose-gold band gleamed, and the tiny sapphires flanking the center stone shimmered like they held a secret of their own.
For a long moment, you were stunned. Your lips parted slightly in disbelief as your heart pounded in your chest. It wasn’t just a ring; it was the ring.
You turned back toward the kitchen, holding the open box in your hand. “Is this…?” you began, but the words trailed off as your eyes met Sae’s mother.
Her expression mirrored your shock—wide-eyed and horrified. Her hands flew to her mouth, her face flushing with the realization of what had just happened.
“Oh no…” you both said in unison, the words hanging in the air like a shared confession.
Sae’s mother shook her head frantically. “I—I didn’t know! He didn’t tell me what it was!” she stammered, clearly panicking.
You let out a nervous laugh, holding up the box. “This is what he got for me?” you asked, voice tinged with disbelief and amusement.
She nodded, still looking mortified. “I think I just ruined everything.”
And that’s how the proposal venue shifted from a dreamy garden setting to the family kitchen.
When Sae came home later that evening, the scene awaiting him was… not what he had envisioned.
You and his mother were seated at the kitchen table, both looking unusually guilty, like two kids caught raiding the cookie jar.
His mother was the first to react, rushing to him with the velvet box in hand, her words tumbling out in a flurry of apologies. "Sae, I didn’t mean to—I didn’t know—I didn’t think she’d actually open it!"
He blinked, then sighed. Well, so much for surprises.
His gaze shifted to you. There you were, cheeks glowing with embarrassment. He could tell you were trying to act innocent, but the slight twitch of your lips gave you away.
He set the box down on the table and pinched the bridge of his nose, muttering something. Then, with a resigned sort of determination, he grabbed the box and turned to you.
“Oh well,” he said with a shrug, his tone deadpan but his eyes soft. “You already know, so I might as well do this now.”
Before you could process what was happening, Sae was down on one knee in the middle of the kitchen, holding the ring up toward you.
“You will marry me,” he said matter-of-factly, already taking your hand. “You don’t have a choice.” He slid the ring onto your finger with the same no-nonsense precision he used in every part of his life.
The sheer audacity of his approach made you burst into laughter. “You’re lucky I wasn’t going to say no even if you did ask properly,” you teased, your smile widening as you admired the ring.
His mother, standing nearby, had already pulled out her phone and was filming the entire thing, tearing up at the unexpected sweetness of the moment.
As Sae stood, you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him close. Your voice was soft, laced with both joy and disbelief. “So, this is it,” you murmured, your eyes shimmering with unshed tears.
He gazed down at you, his hands settling gently on your waist, and for a moment, the world seemed to fade away. His lips curled into the smallest of smiles, but his eyes were filled with so much love it took your breath away. “Yeah,” he said quietly, his voice carrying a warmth that wrapped around your heart. “This is it.”
Sae’s expression shifted slightly, a hint of regret flickering in his eyes. “I’m sorry,” he said, his voice low. “I had it all planned out, you know? You would’ve loved it—the garden, the lights, the fireworks. It was going to be perfect.” He gave a small, sheepish smile, but his gaze never left yours.
You reached up, cupping his face gently in your hands. “Sae,” you whispered, brushing your thumb over his cheek. “I’d take anything as long as it’s with you.”
The engagement was sealed right there—not in the garden surrounded by flowers and fairy lights, but in the cozy kitchen, filled with the lingering aroma of coffee and laughter, and a witness armed with a smartphone.
Though it wasn’t the grand, meticulously planned proposal Sae had envisioned, as he looked into your eyes, he realized something important. The sparkle of the ring on your finger paled in comparison to the glow of your smile, and in that moment, nothing else mattered.
The garden, with its fairy lights and fireworks, would now be the backdrop for your engagement party—the perfect imperfection of life’s unexpected moments.
And as you leaned up to kiss him, Sae couldn’t help but think that this, right here, was better than perfect.
a/n: I am indeed a victim of the Sae brainrot

————
You walked along the sand and inhaled the ocean air.
You were shaken to the core.
Bucky Barnes had surely just taken your parents out to ask for your hand in marriage. But it was so soon, how could he be so sure?
Also, you were an independent woman. How dare he talk to your parents before he asked you to marry him!
He wasn’t your feudal lord.
You were scared witless and turned to the waves to try and calm down.
“He loves the hell out of you, you know.”
Steve had fallen in beside you as you stared at the ocean. You looked up at him, trying to smile, but failing. To Steve you looked terrified.
“It’s just so….”
Steve smiled to himself, remembering that Bucky had purchased the ring weeks before, after just a few days of knowing you. But that wasn’t his story to tell.
“Just know that I’ve never seen him like this. And I’ve known him since we were kids. He’s never been so open, so determined with a woman before. You make him a better man. It’s truly amazing.”
Steve looked so earnest. Your cousin had done quite a number on him.
“You don’t have to be scared. You are ‘The One’ for him.”
This time you managed a smile and an arched eyebrow. You had a feeling that he wasn’t just talking about his best friend.
Steve chuckled.
“Gah. Don’t look at me like that. You and Peach and that eyebrow.”
You laughed at that and grinned, more relaxed now.
Steve looked off into the waves himself.
“So fucking cute…”
He looked down and kicked a rock, a small smile on his face. You could tell he had it bad.
“Thanks for the pep talk Steve-o. And I get what you’re saying. I love Bucky Barnes with all my might, making every other relationship I’ve ever had seem… trivial.”
You glanced at Steve, who was nodding at your sentiment.
“I’m just spooked at the possibilities. I mean…this seems…like a lot.”
“I know. Bucky gets intense.”
You rolled your eyes at him.
“Understatement of the year. And you’re a lot like your friend.”
Steve looked at you, one eye closed from the sunlight in his eyes. He didn’t have any sunglasses and the sun highlighted his windswept hair and the planes of his handsome face. You were squinting at him and you could totally see why Peach let him touch her goodies.
Steve was kinda hot.
You sighed.
“Listen. I’ll be alright. Bucky and I just need to chat.”
Steve smirked.
“Chat. Is that what the kids call it now?”
You laughed and swatted him on the arm as you continued walking again.
“Fuck you, Steve. But for real. Thank you for checking on me. I appreciate it. And I love you for it. I just wish my cousin could see this side of you.”
Steve scoffed.
“Fucked that up good, didn’t I?”
“Not gonna lie, she’s kinda blinded by rage right now. But don’t give up on her. She’ll come around.”
Steve looked at you skeptically and you shrugged.
“80– 75% chance she’ll come around.”
You both laughed.
“Just remember what I said yesterday. She’s a tough nut, but she has a huge heart behind that wall. She is determined about the success of that dance school and she is competitive as fuck. You know what to do.”
Steve grinned.
“Yes ma’am, I do.”
—-
You and Steve re-entered the kitchen laughing, you holding on to his arm.
Peach was at the table drinking coffee and dedicated to ignoring Steve.
“Thanks again for the pep talk Steve. I appreciate it.”
You gave him a long hug and when you separated, you saw Peach’s eyebrow cocked in what you could only imagine was the way Steve described. You stifled a giggle and leaned up on your tiptoe to kiss his cheek.
“You better stop before Bucky comes back and chops me in the throat.”
Peach humphed, and you knew exactly what she was thinking.
You laughed at Steve as he headed toward the stairs, ignoring Peach right back.
“I’m gonna go get my running shoes. A turn down the beach will help me get some of this tension out.”
You watched Peach as she watched Steve roll his neck and stretch on his way out of the room, her coffee stalled in mid air. Her head was on a swivel as he walked out of the room, checking out his formidable ass. She sighed and then remembered that you were there.
You looked at her and she looked at you.
“Shut the fuck up.”
“I didn’t say a word, cousin. Yet. But we will talk later. Any coffee left?”
—-
The week ended up smoother than when Bucky and Steve arrived, and before you and he and Steve left on the jet back to New York, Bucky surprised everyone with an invitation to Vermont for Christmas.
Your heart did a funny little thing because why would he invite your entire family on an all expense holiday vacation from Christmas Eve to New Years unless he was going to…
You couldn’t dwell on what ifs, and you didn’t want to spook yourself. You just decided to appreciate the moment.
It was funny watching your cousin’s face and the corresponding look on Steve’s. Maybe this trip wouldn’t be stressful at all.
Perhaps there would be entertainment.
—---
Later, back in Brooklyn, there was a whirlwind of activity as the Rebirth Foundation geared up for the annual summit and gala.
During the second week in December, Rebirth Endowment recipients (which included your cousin this year!) flew in, were oriented and toured around New York City. The two culminating events were the summit, held at NYU, where there was an art lecture series, a panel, and the gala.
Steve usually participated in the summit by himself, with Sam or Natasha sometimes joining him on stage along with the city’s movers and shakers in the art scene.
But this year Bucky was participating.
He said he wanted to be more prominent in the Art community moving forward as a path toward legitimacy, and you knew that tangentially, that had something to do with you.
When you got back from Thanksgiving, there was a week to prepare for the activities. Your Arts and Culture Alliance in Brownsville, as a part of Rebirth through the Howard Benson exhibit, was a stop on the tour, and you had a ton of work to do.
Bucky and his three partners obviously had their own long list of to dos, but he also needed to be there for Steve, who was a wreck at the thought of Peach coming into town.
Steve was so far gone.
But James Buchanan Barnes.
You’d never seen Bucky Barnes shook.
Sure, you’d seen him excited, impatient, horny, angry, and a little irritated, but never truly nervous.
And you shouldn’t have thought it, but it was adorable.
Friday night, you met your cousin at the airport and witnessed the beginning of her downfall. The cocktail reception later at the hotel had her, and by proxy your own, head spinning.
You grinned at the way Steve was handling everything.
Bucky was beautiful and you admired him as he toasted the guests, his beautiful tenor a nice contrast from Steve’s baritone as they both gave their salutations. Only you knew how anxious he was to speak in front of people and for everything to go well. You felt privileged.
You realized that James Buchanan Barnes was a good man who just wanted to be better for you and for his community.
And suddenly you were not afraid of a future with him.
—-
During this time, you two shared brief cuddles and quick kisses, furtive touches and brief bouts of handholding when you saw each other at events. The mornings meant salacious pictures and quick phone sex to take the edge off, but you weren’t able to luxuriate in each other as you usually did.
You missed Bucky’s full attention, but the fact that you were working together on something worthwhile was the shit. You loved this man and you wanted to work beside him as an equal, not just be his sex toy.
This was the week that you fell completely in love with Bucky Barnes.
Thursday was the day of the Rebirth Art Summit and Bucky was pacing up and down his home office, reading glasses switching locations from perched on top of his head, to his delectable mouth, to his handsome face as he reviewed his notes.
You looked up from the ones in your hands with which you were quizzing him and smiled at him.
“Jamie, it’s going to be okay.”
He stopped to look at you, a faint smile on his face. He came over and pecked you on the lips and gave you a hug.
“‘M so glad you are here tonight, even though you tried to stay away.”
You sighed into his chest and took a deep breath, inhaling his Bucky smell.
“I wasn’t trying to avoid you, I was just giving you space. I know tomorrow is important to you and I don’t want to distract—”
“Frumoasă. You don’t distract from anything. If anything, you add to my life. You add so, so much. I love you. And I miss you. I want you here with me tonight.”
You melted into him, chuckled and shook your head as he held you. This feeling was crazy.
“What?”
You heard his voice in his chest, but he didn’t move, except to sway just a little, as if soothing you. It worked.
“I love you too, Bucky. And I miss you too. So much. It’s wild to feel so much in such a short amount of time.”
You and Bucky had only been together about three months, but you knew this was it.
“When you know, you know, my love. And we shouldn’t waste any more time.”
You hugged him tighter. What was understood didn’t need to be said.
He kissed the top of your head and then moved back so he could see into your eyes.
“And having you in my space while I get ready for an important event is everything.”
You looked him in the eye, thinking of sucking his dick for being such a dream.
“Bucky…”
Bucky took your hand and raised it to his lips.
“Don’t look at me like that, Frumoasă. I will be forced to fuck you all night long, something that is long overdue.”
He kissed your forehead.
“But there is much work to do.”
You cast your eyes down and whispered, “You’re right.”
Bucky took you in, looking so demure and being so patient with him. It was such a turn on.
“Such a Good Girl for me.”
You wanted to fall to your knees, but you just bit your lip and went to sit back down, crossing your legs as you began quizzing him again.
Soon, you told your pulsing pussy. Soon.
You worked late into the night and soon dozed on the leather couch in his study. The next morning, you woke in Bucky’s bed with a sweet note on your pillow. You smiled and knew that he’d carried you to bed and held you all night long.
—--
“You look like that damn heart eyes emoji, ya know.”
You sucked your teeth at your cousin’s comment, but you didn’t pull your gaze away from Bucky up on the dias the next day at NYU.
You were proud and in awe of your man. Your smirk turned into a grin as he glanced at you and started to speak.
You were down bad. And Bucky was too. After almost two weeks with little to no physicality, your energy was at supernova strength and about to cause a black hole in the universe.
That’s how intense this thing was.
You were wet and hard and soft in all the right places.
Bucky had to pause frequently for the interpreter, and it gave you a chance to make googly eyes at each other. You ignored Peach’s subtle retching noises as you concentrated on Bucky. But you cut your eyes over to her while Steve spoke and found her visibly eye fucking him. You smirked when she noticed you noticing.
“Bucky is pretty much the man.”
She was trying to distract you. You laughed.
“Fucking-A.”
You nodded up at the stage.
“Steve is the shit too.”
You were shocked as hell when she responded.
“He’s amazing. I had no idea everything that he does. Have to say, I’m impressed.”
You elected not to tease her about her response. It seemed as if Steve was working the plan.
You resumed watched as Bucky did his thing. He was glowing, handsome and impressive as hell. No one would believe he was as introverted as he was. But he was flourishing in the spotlight, seemingly born for his. He exuded confidence.
It was such a turn on.
—-
Bucky watched you watching him and talking to your cousin and knew your tells. You were probably wet and ready for him. He briefly thought of what he was going to do to you later before he refocused on the task at hand. Knowing you were there for him was such motivation.
When he made his way back over to you, you were an angel, giving him a huge hug and exclaiming, “You were so fucking good up there, Jamie! I’m so proud of you.”
Bucky felt his heart explode and although someone was pulling him away from you, he mouthed a promise in your direction.
—-
“Later...”
You definitely read those sexy lips and your heart started racing. You looked around for your cousin, expecting to be roasted, but she was nowhere to be found. You shrugged and made your way to the subway, assuming that she was gathering with the other recipients. There was more work to do in Brownsville and you were busy anticipating the night.
You waited all day for Bucky’s text to tell you what time Nico was picking you up, but it never came. The rest of the day flew by and by the time you were walking home, daydreaming of dressing up for the gala tomorrow night and what Bucky might wear, you happened to check your phone and saw messages he’d sent just 10 minutes before:
You looked so good today. Especially this morning. Good enough to eat.
I’ll be at your place in 30. Wear that bra, no top, that skirt, no panties, and those heels.
You blushed and thought of the mirror selfie of the cream lace lingerie set you were wearing underneath your cream colored cowl neck sweater and grey wool pencil skirt that matched your grey wool coat.
Yes, Daddy, you replied and picked up the pace to make it to your brownstone ahead of him, your heart beating a mile a minute.
You thought you were prepared when you opened the door after Bucky knocked, but you weren’t.
In fact, you were shaking with anticipation.
There he was, bundled up from the cold, but those blue eyes sparkling down at you.
Bucky stared at you for a beat, and then walked toward you, taking your face in his hands and backing you up against the entryway wall, kicking the door closed behind him.
“My Frumoasă. So good. So perfect”
And then he leaned down and kissed you.
—-
Bucky had the strangest thought as you opened your door.
I’m home.
Although this was not his place, he realized that you were his home and that he couldn’t wait to make you his wife. His eyes swept down your form, pleased that you had followed instructions. You were such a badass, capable woman and partner and he just had to be inside you soon.
He complimented you and his cock stiffened as your mouth parted in desire. He knew your praise kink very well. Bucky cradled your beautiful face and moved inside to kiss you.
His demanding mouth parted your trembling lips, sending tremors through your body. You clung to the lapels of his coat to tether you to earth as his tongue invaded your mouth. You suckled it, previewing what you wanted to do with his cock later.
He pulled away, his bright blue eyes blazing, and his jaw clenched so tight as he shrugged out of his winter coat. If you didn’t know him so well, you’d think he was angry, but the look was desire.
And only for you. You grew warm from the inside out.
“I can’t wait. Wanna make love to you, but I have to fuck you now.”
Bucky bent his knees and grabbed your thighs, prompting you to wrap your legs around him and hold on to him as he walked you over to your couch.
You attacked his face as you were sat down firmly on the bulge in his pants and Bucky accepted your assault, chuckling as you kissed him from his hairline, to his forehead, down his nose, each cheek, skipping over his lips to his stubbly dimpled chin and finally back to that mouth. When he kissed you again, his hands were everywhere, starting at the nape of your hair, pulling so your neck was exposed as his mouth moved down to mark you up, then trailing down to your fine lace bra cups.
Bucky palmed your full breasts, weighing them in his hands and watching your face as he twisted your nipples. You nipples tightened under his touch and you arched your back, moving and giving him a view of what was underneath your skirt. He admired your ardor, you squirming and moaning on his lap.
It was his dream come true.
“So fucking hot, Frumoasa. I’ve been craving you. All day. All week. Ever since Thanksgiving. Since I first laid eyes on you.”
“Bucky…need you.”
You grasped the lapels of his jacket as his hand traveled down your torso and as he leaned down to travel under the hem of your skirt. Your soft fingers peeled his jacket away and unbuttoned his shirt. You opened it and ran your hands down his chest, rubbing his nipples with your thumb and trailed your hand down to his happy trail and proceeded to try and undo his belt buckle.
Bucky grew hot at the warmth of your thick thighs and the way your cunt was so hot that he could feel it through his pants.
He had to have it.
Panting now and desperate, Bucky tugged your skirt up, flashing your bare pussy, but it was difficult to get rid of because it was still buttoned. It slipped out of his hands and he grunted in frustration.
“Ah, poor baby…”
You leaned forward, brushing the locks of hair that had fallen into his flushed face, grazing your nipples across your chest with a sexy smile.  Bucky whimpered and you smirked at his desperation. You slowly reached behind you to your zipper, pushing your chest toward Bucky’s face. He licked his lips and pulled your bra cups down, causing your warm breasts to spill out and his hands to be drawn to them again like magnets as he watched you loosen your skirt.
When you grabbed the hem to bring it over your head, he released you, watching as the fabric moved above your crotch.
Your pussy. Fuck.
Bucky could never get enough of staring at it, the dark petals, which were spread open for him as you sat on his lap were calling his name. He licked his lips, suddenly parched.
“What are you thinking about, Bucky?”
You had a pretty good idea, but you wanted, no needed, to hear Bucky’s voice right now. You reached behind you again as you unclasped your bra and suddenly you were naked on an essentially fully dressed Bucky Barnes.
It was sexy as hell.
“I’m thinking that your pussy is a work of art, Frumoasă. It’s perfect. I’m thinking that I want to spend at least eight hours a day between your legs, make you cum over and over again, make you beg me to stop, and to start again. How I want you to taste you and make you squirt so I can swallow you down…”
You moaned and started grinding on his bulge, causing Bucky to curse.
“Damn, Baby. You’re gonna make me jizz in my pants like a teenager.”
Bucky grabbed your ass and reached between you to tease your clit, feeling how wet you were.
“Fuuuuuck, you’re so wet.”
Bucky’s eyes rolled as he grabbed your waist and lifted you to your knees on either side of him as he unzipped his pants and pulled them and his underwear just down past his ass to get his cock out. He grabbed your cheek as he stroked himself and rubbed his thick cock head in your juicy pussy.
“Fuck me Frumoasa. Slide down this dick for me.”
You brushed Bucky’s hair off his forehead again as you nodded and started to slide down his fat, hard cock. Your head lolled back on your neck as you reached the root of him.
“Oh… Bucky… Fuck….”
You could feel Bucky pounding inside you, long thick cock battering your cervix and you whined, leaning back and working your hips as Bucky fucked up into you and thumbed your clit while the other hand guided you up and down his dick.
His jaw was clenched and his eyes were shining as he looked up at you. You knew he was close and you couldn’t take it.
He started to speak and you knew it was over.
“Frumoasă. I-I’m gonna need you to… oh holy fuckkkkkk!”
His stutter made you start to cum.
As soon as your pussy started spasming around him, Bucky started shooting his spend all over your warm walls causing you to convulse and hug his head to your chest. He clutched you to him, whimpering as he held onto you for dear life as he came.
He collapsed backwards, taking you with him as you became boneless in his arms. You rolled off of him and curled up on the couch as Bucky stood and untangled himself from his clothes.
You closed your eyes for a minute as he got up and went to the bathroom, returning with a warm cloth to clean you up. When he finished, he kissed your forehead and gathered you up in his arms.
“You turn me on like no one else, Frumoasă. You’re it for me. I love you.”
You cuddled into him as he lay you in your bed.
“Me too, Bucky. You’re my one. I love you, too.”
Bucky kissed your forehead again, and then proceeded to move down your body.
“Good, now. I need to clock into my main occupation. Hour one of eight.…”

After Peter takes Tony on a poor person's tour of New York City (Part 1), Tony decides to get some revenge by bringing the kid to California to see how the other side lives
First order of business: a tailored suit. Peter stands awkwardly while an elderly man takes his measurements and adjusts his posture. "Which side do you dress?" he asks. Peter's eyebrows crinkle, "um, I dress all my sides?" Tony snorts. "No Pete, he's asking which side your di—" "OH"
They take the private jet of course. "I've actually done this part you know Mr. Stark," he tells him smugly. "Yes I do know, Happy complained about it for 20 minutes after we dropped you off. Do you even have a passport?" "Nope!"
Tony's Audi R8 is waiting for them in the parking lot in all its hot red glory. Tony tosses Peter the keys. "Really!?" "All part of the experience kid. Wait till you get on those long Malibu roads, bet we can watch the sunset on the beach if you step on it."
Peter does in fact step on it. Tony regrets ever opening his mouth. "I thought you said you had your driver's license!" "I do! Well, learner's permit. Y'know Spider-Man stole a car once. It was awesome." Tony tightens his grip on the seat.
Tony makes him pull over when he sees an ice cream shop. Peter is very excited to get a cone, and Tony is very excited that Peter made it this far without driving off a cliff. (Peter is not allowed to drive again)
They walk along the beach while they eat, Peter rolls up his pants and wades barefoot into the shoreline waves. As much as Tony planned this trip to get revenge on Peter for the chaotic day in New York, he can't help but smile at the boy's contentment
-When they get to the mansion Peter takes it upon himself to look into every single room. "That's a linen closet." "IT'S THE SIZE OF MY BEDROOM."
There are five guest rooms. One has a foosball table and mini fridge, another with a tv the size of a wall. there are two downstairs and two in a separate upstairs hallway. Tony tells Peter to pick whatever one he wants... he picks the room right across from Tony's (he should have expected that)
They hit LA the next day. "You didn't bring a hat or something?" "No, why?" Tony hands him a pair of his ostentatious sunglasses. "Borrow these." Peter wears them on their way to get lunch and it becomes clear very quickly why when within 20 minutes there are half a dozen paparazzi following them and snapping photos while yelling questions
"Mr. Stark who are you with?" "Stark what are your thoughts on the floods in Libya" "young man what is your name?" "hey kid how do you know Stark?" "Mr. Stark is this your illegitimate son?" "what does Ms. Potts think about your past sexual history?" "does this have anything to do with the child labour accusations against Stark industries?" Tony keeps his head up and continues walking down the street without pause when he speaks. "This young man is part of SI's intern program, and he's exceptional enough to work directly with me. No further questions please," and with that he grabs Peter's arm and pulls him into a cafe
"Woah," Peter says dizzily. "Yep." Tony replies simply
Tony orders them some sandwiches and smoothies—"14 dollars for a small?! What's it made of, gold?" Peter exclaims. Tony shrugs with a sip of the straw. "Probably, they put that stuff in everything nowadays. All it does is rack up the bill and stick to your teeth"
They don't spend too much time out before they need to go home and get ready for a charity gala. Tony watches in amusement as Peter struggles with his tie for five minutes before stepping in and tying it for him. He also puts on Peter's cufflinks for him. "These look expensive..." he examines the silver squares with a subtle P.P. monogram. "Meh, just six hundred." Peter balks while staring at the small accessory. "Mine were 3k," Tony says with a smirk, showing off his own cufflinks in a much more garish T.S. shape. Peter pales nauseously.
Peter sticks close to Tony in the large ballroom, shaking a dozen hands of old white men who all look the same and women who waddle around in their long dresses (Peter steps on one woman's train causing her to trip into a wobbly drunk woman, sending them both sprawling on the ground. Peter decides to inconspicuously speed walk away after brushing off the evidence of his footprint on the stiff fabric. Tony nearly gives him away with his laughter)
Peter grabs a glass of champagne at a waiter's offering, only to have it immediately taken from his hand by Tony. "Hey!" "you really thought I'd let you drink right in front of me?" Peter pauses. "Alcohol? I thought it was sparkling juice or something. Why'd the waiter give it to me, do I look 21 in a suit?" Tony scoffs at the hopeful flush to Peter's round cheeks. "Yeah no, but most aristocrats are alcoholics by 15 so the wait staff don't discriminate."
Tony orders him a virgin shirley temple from the bar and he's content
Peter later comes out of the bathroom with a stiff posture and quickly makes his way back to Tony. "Um, some people just offered me cocaine?" "did you take it?" "no..." "then we're good." Peter's eyebrows furrow as Tony moves on
"Here, you pick the amount," Tony says as he hands his checkbook and a pen to Peter. "Um, what is this for again?" Tony pauses. "Either youth literacy programs or LGBT suicide prevention." Peter shrugs and writes down 5000. Tony takes it back with a nod and then adds another zero
Tony doesn't say anything as Peter looks over the appetizers spread out on a white cloth table. Most of it is confusing or disgusting, and none of it looks very filling. He picks up something seemingly innocent, meat on a cracker. "I thought this was ham, but it's kind of greasy," he comments as he chews. Tony smirks at him. "It's foie gras." Peter stares at him blankly. "Duck or goose liver. They overfeed the birds to fatten them." Peter subtly spits it out into a cloth napkin that is way too nice to get dirty
They get burgers on the way home.
Later that evening Ned sends Peter a text with a TMZ article: Tony Stark and New Company Heir in LA. "You're in LA?!?? YOU'RE GONNA BE A CEO?" Peter face palms before texting back. "I'm boujee now Ned, don't talk to me again until your net worth is at least 3 mil"

UA Touya has been on the brain so much lately
Enji refused to get him in on recommendations (and yes he becomes pissed years later when he learns Shoto was admitted on recommendations), so what does Touya do?
He passes the exam with a flawless score, getting into the Hero Course. He’s one of the strongest in his class. He’s so driven and passionate during training. He’s everything you’d want to see in a hero.
However, his attitude plus alternative style plus quirk makes fellow students…weary of him. He’s known to be rude. He only hangs out with people from other schools. He’s covered in burn scars and grafts.
Sadly, this starts many rumors. Shit like “did you know Touya is in a gang?” and “I heard he beats up kids…some hero he will be!” and “That Touya would be better off a villain than hero.” Due to all this plus all his energy focused on becoming a top hero, one no could ever forget, he keep to himself while at school.
So it’s a huge surprise when one day at lunch he finds you standing in front of him. Touya always ate outside in the courtyard where he could blast his music without any teachers yelling at him. He’s even more shocked when you ask if you can join him.
Why was a pretty thing like you talking to him? Didn’t you hear what they all say about him?
He’s suspicious, not sure what your motive here is. You explain that you wanted to eat outside because the weather was so nice for once, and while you were looking for a spot to sit you overheard his music and wanted to listen. His suspicions don’t fade, but he allows you to enter into his little world for the next hour. You two sit together and listen to his playlist, occasionally discussing the song/album before it fades into the next.
This exchange continues for the next few weeks. You both begin really looking forward to lunch everyday. You two begin exchanging songs, homework answers, even phone numbers. You two wave at each other in the hallway, exchanging small “hi”s and smiles. You’re walking alongside friends while he’s always alone. Huh.
One day your friend watches as Touya calls for you in the hallway. You run over to him, excitedly accepting the CD you asked him to burn for you earlier that week. You run back over to your friend and that’s when you learn the rumors. How he’s this big scary villainous guy, how you shouldn’t trust him.
But that’s nothing like the Touya you knew!
So that same day at lunch, you brought up the rumors. He seemed disappointed you finally heard them, thinking it meant his time with you was over. But instead you asked him to answer each question fully honest.
“Are you in a gang?” You laid down. He followed, body laying the other way but head right next to yours.
“Nah,” he chuckled and looked up at the sky. “My friends are just losers and refer to us as ‘The League.’ The only time things get violent is game night.”
You laugh at his answer, making his cheeks go pink and a slight pout form on his lips. You then ask your next question.
“Do you really get into fights with children?”
“Ohmygod it was ONE FUCKING TIME,” he sighs, rubbing his forehead. “Shit wait that sounds bad.”
You laugh harder this time. “Touya what the fuck?”
“Okay okay look my youngest brother can be a handful. I took him to the playground one time and some badass kids made him cry,” he explains, feeling embarrassed at the memory.
“Touya no you didn’t-”
“I didn’t hurt them!! I just showed off my flame and made sure they knew to leave my brother alone….not my fault they started crying.” The look on his face is too cute as his embarrassment is clear. You can tell he’s not use to opening up like this and letting people truly see him. Your heart fluttered realizing you were becoming one of the few people who get to see him like this. Who gets to truly see Touya.
“Okay okay now final question,” you bite your lips nervously. “And you don’t have to answer it if you don’t wanna.” His eyebrow rose at your words, face turning to look at you. “How did you get your scars?”
It’s silent for a few seconds. 10 minutes go by. Then 20. Almost 30 before you speak up again.
“I’m sorry, pretend I never asked that. I just was-”
“It’s pathetic,” his breath is shakey. He’s facing the sky again, hand running through his hair. “It happened when I was a kid. I was desperate for my dad’s attention and overused my quirk a few times. One night I must have really overdid it. I don’t remember much from that day. I just woke up a while later with these gross skin grafts and my mom sobbing. Really haven’t seen the old man since. If he’s around he’s just with Shoto anyways and,” he takes a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart. “Ah sorry I started rambling there.”
He turns to face, examining your face to gauge your reaction to the real him. He’s scanning your face for any signs of disappointment, disgust, dislike. His stomach turned at the idea of you feeling pity for him as well. God he really has to ruin everything didn’t he?
“You must be disappointed to learn I’m such a loser huh?”
But as usual you surprise him, flashing him a sweet smile as you respond, “nah, I like it. I think you’re cute.”
You then learned one more thing about Touya: being complimented makes his cheeks go dark red.

reader's note : this is the last chapter, make sure to read it in order! Sorry for the angst hehe.
Part 1 : meeting you again | Part 2 : wouldn't you | Part 3 : broken promises | Part 4 : where it all went wrong | Part 5 : enough for now (current one)
Tumblr media
“she is a fucking psycopath” kenma sighs, putting the car in reverse as he pulls up in his driveway, eyes fixated on the rear view as kuroo watches the irriated expression on his face.
“dude, chill I know you hate kizumi, but I might marry her” kuroo sips his coffee as he lets out a shallow grunt in annoyance too, what was he doing in life.
“no, just think about it, she specifically asked for the ring you bought to propose to y/n, when she knows you could afford to give her much expensive one right now, but, again I repeat. she asked specifically for that ring, only”
the black hair man groans at the explanation, he knows his friend has a point, but he is trying to gaslight himself into believing whatever kizumi explained to him. “i think she just likes it, she was the one who chose it too, all those years ago—” and before kuroo could finish his sentence, the half blonde cuts him off, swiftly taking out his phone from his pocket and muttering something to it “siri, how do you block people in real life”
“yeah, okay, this is a kuroo hate club, I get it” the man sighs, propping his head back on the headrest, closing his eyes. “honestly I know her behavior is weird, but I’m in a tight spot, my only left family is nagging me to marry her, and you know I could care less about marriage” he pauses taking a deep breath. “dad is legit emotionally blackmailing me, sitting at his stupid hospital bed probably faking his disease”
“they want you to marry, doesn't necessarily have to be her” kenma suggests, opening the seatbelt around him. “i cannot marry a stranger, kizumi is a better option, we have been dating on and off for one year” the rooster haired man replies, honestly he really wants to jump off a cliff, but he will suppress the impulsive urges.
“as a rebutal to that, one thing you said was right” kenma sighs finally looking at his friend, kuroo looks tired, or is aged that appropriate word. “her behavior is weird, it's like she has more attachment to y/n than you, she is insecure as fuck of her. you, me and her, we all know she won't ever level up to the place y/n has in your heart, so she trying to become her, its giving me chills” kenma shudders at that thought, physically gagging.
“do you think it's too late for me to get a therapist?” with that kuroo tetsuro groans one more time.
Tumblr media
kuroo sits quietly, hands clasped, looking up with hesitant eyes as he watches you put your purse on the table, stoice face, yet so pretty.
he really meant it when he said you got more gorgeous over the years, there were few lines now adorning your face, mature and elegant glow.
even if he sometimes wonders if it would have been better if you both never met at all, if it would have been better if neither of you had to go through the heartbreak, but he knows,
if there was a spell to go back in time, to where he met you, he would do the same thing. he would make a silly chemistry joke and wait for you to laugh at it, not because it was funny, no it was because it was so bad you laughed at it, it was his fault wasn’t it?
to loose the most precious thing in his life, did you feel worse than him, it wasn't a question, nor a comparison, he wanted to know because he will never forget or forgive himself to give you so much pain over the year.
what did you name the kid? did oikawa tooru’ see how your son took the first steps, was he the one who got called father first, what's his favorite food, does he have a birth mark, does he like volleyball? is your son’ tastes similar to what is his? Just like how he saw the little kid adorning your homely baked goods, similar to what he himself used to do.
it pains him, physically pains him to know he wasn't there for anything, he wasn't there to make you food, hold your hair while you threw up during you morning sickness, not hold your hand while you went into labour, he wasn't part of any of it, six years sometimes means nothing and yet to him, now, it means everything, it means every important thing he lost.
“you don't know how much draining this is for me, to be talking to you, or as a matter of fact to talk about what happened, cause honestly you deserve nothing, not the explanation, not to meet me or ruko” you break the silence first, firmly sitting at your place.
and kuroo wishes he could repent on all the thing you said but the only thought in his mind is what you named your son “his name is ruko?”
“his name is oikawa saruko” you firmly state, a small smile tugging at you lips, you were proud your kid had a father like oikawa, cause you can't imagine anyone else being a better father than him.
tetsuro has never wanted to be in someone else's place as much as he wants to be oikawa now, he sighs at your words. “why didn't you tell me, I would get it if you wanted to get away from me, but don't you think I deserved to know the kid was mine?” his voice quivering as he asks you the question, a weird pang in his chest.
“i tried, I tried so many times” your voice quivers slightly “why do you think I asked for your opinion to have a kid?” that silents the man infront of you, his pupil dilated as he realizes how he explained it, and how it sounded like a definite ‘no” from his side.
“not to mention, even after that I was going to tell you, with my parents kuroo and you didn't show up” he relishes at how defeated he feels when you don't even call him by his first name, so the announcement when you called him was with your parents? his legs tenses up and he stops shaking them.
“i know I don't have any excuse but you know there was a storm that night—”
“yet you left me all alone in that storm, tetsuro” his heart breaks into million pieces, do you even know how much he just wants to pull you close and cry, stain your shirt with his tears of sorrow that he made a mistake and couldn't be in your presence and of joy because after years he was able to see you.
“i—y/n” he tries to put his hands over yours but you are swift to pull away, he knows a million reasons of why your reflex action was right, yet he can't help but feel his throat becoming dry “i’m sorry, I assumed you were with your parents, I had no idea, my phone was dead”
“how can you still lie to me?” your voice croaks, finally looking straight into his eyes, you really don't want to care for whatever his action was or what he did but you can't help but feel wronged.
“what do you mean lie?”
“so your phone was dead enough to not respond to my texts but it was working when you reposted on social media with your now girlfriend, her friends commenting how cute you both looked” you scoff pausing in disbelief “or should I say fiance”
“whatever are you sayi-” then it clicks, it suddenly clicks how kizumi’s friend has always shipped him with her, despite knowing he has a girlfriend, despite him saying he doesn't appreciate it, that it straight up makes him uncomfortable.
how kizumi knew, that your birthdate was his password to Instagram, he remembers her saying it was so cute, its laughable to think how dumb he has been, how could he not notice her intention. but he wishes you told him, he wishes he could have cleared off the last misunderstanding and if he could take it all back he would.
hell, he would never breath the same air as kizumi if he could go back in time and fix things. but he cannot, all he has is regret and all he can do his atone for his mistake, he was hoping you'd be kind enough to let him see his son, he hasn't been a great partner but he sure as heck wants to have some influence in your son’s life—
after all, it was a part of you and him, back then if he actually heard you were pregnant he'd probably be scared as shit, but he would still fight every odds to raise the kid you made, how could he ever resent a mini you, kuroo knows he has no right to feel wronged but all those years without the little guy or even acknowledgment of his existence makes feel burnt.
his lips shaky and he doesn't know if a explanation would even help at this point, nothing would change and even if kizumi was in wrong– so was he though. his mouth ran before he could know.
he looks up at her. “I know you don’t owe me anything, but there’s something you need to hear" your eyes held anger and he was scared of that, he wanted to scream please forgive me, over and over again in a chant but he knew he didn't deserve your forgiveness.
you crossed your arms, wary but patient. you had no idea how you still held on. but they say but they say old habits die hard, and even after six year you had the same patience for him, you wanted to laugh at yourself “Go on.”
“It was Kizumi,” he begins, voice low but firm. “She… she’s the reason things fell apart. She was jealous of you, of what we had. She deleted your texts that night—the ones you sent me about the announcement. She posted on my social media to make it look like I was with her. And she—”
"You didn't know?" your eyes widened and you had no idea how to feel after hearing that, conflicted feeling filled your lungs and the wall of resolve you have solidified getting cracks of doubt in them, but you remained firm.
“No,” Kuroo says quickly, his voice thick with regret. “I was blind, stupid, and I didn’t see what was happening. I let her control too much. I thought I could trust her. But I swear, if I’d known—” He stops, realizing that no matter what he says, it won’t erase the past.
you stare at him, your face unreadable, but there was turmoil behind your eyes “So, you’re saying it was all her fault?”
“No. No..no.” Kuroo says firmly, shaking his head. “It was my fault too. I let her into my life, I didn’t listen to you, and I didn’t fight for you when it mattered. That’s on me. I just… I need you to know that I didn’t abandon you on purpose.”
you exhale slowly, looking down at you cup, a closure huh? but what does that change ? you know oikawa is much more important to you now, nothing could change that, nothing could make you ever abandon the perfect family you have right now. “I believe you, Tetsuro. But that doesn’t change what happened. You weren’t there when I needed you, and I had to pick up the pieces alone. Oikawa was there. He’s been there for me and for Ruko.”
even if there is a shaky heartbeat you feel around your past lover you know it was not meant to be. there are so many things unsaid and there will be so many things which will be, you are a mom now and you could never be an careless one. and as much as tears were welling up in your eyes for what could have been, you won't risk anything for what it is now.
Kuroo swallows the lump in his throat. “I know. And I’m glad he’s been good to you both. I just… I missed so much, Y/N. I want to know him. I know I don’t deserve it, but I want to try.”
Tumblr media
bonus scene
Kuroo sits on a bench, watching from a distance as you and Oikawa playing with your son, Ruko. The boy—his son, biologically—has Oikawa’s mannerisms but your smile. Kuroo’s chest tightens as he watches the little boy stumble, only for Oikawa to sweep him up, spinning him around while you laugh.
They look like a family. They are a family
Kuroo thinks to himself, maybe this could have been you both if he wasn't consumed by the thought that you both would also be horrible parents much like your families.
you notice him then, your gaze meeting his. There’s no anger in your eyes anymore, just a quiet understanding. you approach him cautiously, arms crossed. “You’re here,” you speak, trying to keep your tone neutral.
“I just wanted to see him,” Kuroo admits. “I won’t interfere much. I just… needed to see him.”
You sit beside him, keeping a respectful distance. “He’s happy, you know. Oikawa’s a good father. He loves Ruko like he’s his own.” and that breaks kuroo's heart, as much as he tries to look positively at this. He can't help but feel his heart become empty, can't help but wish to be where oikawa is right now in your life.
Kuroo nods, swallowing the lump in his throat. “I can see that. He’s a lucky kid.” you glance at him, your expression softening. “I know the truth now, about Kizumi. About what happened. I’m… sorry you were caught in that.”
“I’m sorry too,” Kuroo says, his voice breaking. He knows it's not enough but all he can do is regret it over and over again. “For everything. For not being there, for letting you down. I should’ve fought harder for us.” you look away, your gaze fixed on Oikawa and Ruko. “Maybe. But it’s too late now, Tetsuro. We’ve both moved on.” and he feels a bit happy, you used his first name, God he is so pathetic
“I know,” he whispers, his heart breaking all over again. “But I’ll never stop wishing I could go back and do it right.” and before you are able to say anything you notice a small figure approaching you, you feel at ease when you notice it's your son, oikawa stood a bit away, he felt protective over you both but he doesn't want to snatch away the closure you deserve, and he can't snatch away ruko from his biological dad. so he stays silent cause he knows ruko would pick him for sure, he loves the little guy to death after all.
“Ruko, this is… this is Tetsuro,” you say gently, getting up from the bench only to kneel beside your son.
The boy looks up, curious but cautious. “Hi,” he says softly, clutching his toy dinosaur.
Kuroo crouches down, his heart aching as he gets his first close look at his son. Ruko has Y/N’s eyes and his messy black hair. He smiles faintly. “Hey, buddy. That’s a cool dinosaur you’ve got there. What’s his name?”
“Cupcake,” Ruko replies, holding it up proudly. For a moment, Kuroo wants to giggle, pondering why a dinosaur would be named Cupcake, but he holds back, his lips twitching into a soft smile. “Cupcake, huh? That’s a pretty unique name. Why’d you pick it?”
Ruko beams, his small chest puffing up with excitement. “Well—it’s not weird, okay? It’s ’cause I love dinosaurs and I love Mom’s handmade cupcakes, so I mixed two favorite things at once!”
Kuroo freezes for a moment, his breath catching in his throat. Cupcakes. His gaze flickers briefly to you, you who look away, your expression unreadable. He remembers countless nights when he’d come over to your place, exhausted from work or practice, and the smell of your freshly baked cupcakes would make him feel like he was home. They were his favorite—a sweet, simple treat that reminded him of your warmth.
And now, their son shares that same love.“That’s… that’s actually genius,” Kuroo finally says, his voice hoarse with emotion. “Cupcake is the perfect name for a dinosaur. You’ve got great taste.”
Ruko grins proudly, going on to describe Cupcake’s many adventures and how he takes the toy everywhere. Kuroo listens intently, his heart clenching. There’s an ache beneath his chest—a mix of pride, love, and regret. He and Ruko have so much in common, and yet, this is the first time he’s learning it.
The realization stings, and he resents you a bit for that but it also fills him with a bittersweet joy. Ruko is bright, imaginative, and full of life. He’s a part of you and him—a reminder of what you both once had. And kuroo decides he can live with that. That's enough for now isn't it?

Time and Time again - chapter 1
cw: minor injury
The first time Viktor meets Jayce, he´s nothing more than nine years old. He´s been growing a lot lately so he might need to get a new cane soon. But since his dad has died and it´s just been himself and his mum, money´s more than just tight. His mum keeps picking up shifts at that big house where the people come and go and whenever she comes home early in the morning, she smells like sweet smoke and alcohol. Viktor doesn´t like it, but he says nothing, just snuggles closer once she slips into bed next to him, chasing all the warmth he can get. His mother is skinny but she still fusses over him. Over his messed-up leg and his hair that keeps on growing, over his scrubby little hands and the motor oil that seeps into his clothes and stains his pants. Over the little cuts and bruises he comes home with every day. She´s worried that other kids are mean to him but he just shakes his head. They don´t play with him, they can´t be mean if they don´t even look at him.
Viktor plays alone, usually. Down down down in one of the deepest, darkest parts of Zaun, where the sun hardly shines and the smog is thick and bitter on his tongue, Viktor usually plays near the small canal. It´s water coming from the Topside, he´s heard some kids say, a crack in the earth, a passageway up for everyone who´s brave enough. There are official ways, apparently, a bridge and an elevator, but they´re guarded. He´s never seen them, has never dared to wander too far from home, frightened by his mothers warnings.
They don´t play around, malá hvězda. They kill everyone from down here, they´re not your friends. Don´t ever go up there, don´t even try, you hear me?
Viktor has only ever nodded, too frightened to ask what they are. Mama had told him that they´re too far from the river and the bridge, that they don´t dare to come down here, that they´re too scared. That this means safety. Viktor isn´t too sure about that, but he trusts her. Who else can he trust, if not his Mama?
So he stays down there, rummages in the trash for metal and builds little toys. They´re wonky little things, crooked and ugly, but his mother still puts them all on the little shelf above their bed and gives him a kiss to the forehead. So Viktor keeps making them, keeps showing them to his mother who keeps kissing his forehead, keeps putting his little figurines up on the shelf for the both of them to see.
Sometimes Viktor wonders about that place up there, where the water runs clean and the sun is supposed to shine all the time. He wonders if there are kids like himself up there, not dirty and hungry, but curious, adventurous. He wonders what he´s done to deserve the life he and his mother have to live, what he needs to do to change it. Because he would. For his mother to stop having to work in that big house where the people come and go and the air is sweet and pink and heavy, for them to be a family again. He wonders if the kids up there have dreams, or if they have everything; if they can even dream because they don´t wish for anything more, they can´t wish for anything more. That´d be sad, Viktor thinks, not being able to dream. He dreams, he does nothing but dream. Mama always calls him malá hvězda, little star. A few years ago shes told him about the place where he´s been born. Where she and his dad came from. About the clear, blue sky and the deep rich nights, about the moon and the stars. He´d love to see it some day. But he probably won´t.
He´s nine now and last week he´s met a man named Singed. While he´d been frightened by Singed and the strange cave-like house he lives in, he´d liked his pet. A big, soft pink thing with big big eyes and a slobbery, soft tongue. Rio, his name is. He had licked the grime and dirt from Viktor´s hand as a greeting and Viktor had laughed. He´d left with the promise from Singed, that he´d be allowed to return any time, take care of Rio with him.
He´s nine and on his way down the dim, wet alley, he hears a sound. It´s strange enough to see other kids his age in the immediate vicinity of his home, but to hear someone crying? Following the sound, Viktor tries but fails to keep the tap tap tap of his cane to a minimum. People don´t cry down here. Crying means weakness and weakness means death. Sometimes, when he was younger and still afraid of the dark, he´d cry into his pillow until his mother came home in the early early mornings and pulled him against her in a bony embrace, reminding him that crying would get him nowhere.
Rounding a corner, Viktor narrows his eyes. Nothing. Besides houses, stacked upon each other like the empty liquor boxes Viktor sometimes stumbles upon when exploring the trashcans of the bar just a couple of blocks from home. It smells like trash and smoke and very faintly like fried pine tart and Viktors stomach grumbles painfully. The noise continues, a bit louder now, and Viktor narrows his eyes at two large wooden boxes stacked upon each other against the side of a brick wall. Peaking around the corner, all he sees for a moment is a mop of dark hair and a pair of tan arms wrapped around knees. It´s a kid, he notices, a very clean, very well-dressed kid with a nasty gash on their knee.
“Hey,” he blurts out, because he´s curious and adventurous and because nobody else is here to see him.
Startled, the kid shrieks and pulls their legs further towards their chest. Still, the kid lifts their head. Big, hazel eyes blink back at Viktor, round cheeks dirty and streaky with tears, blood trickling down the right side of their face. It´s a boy, he notices, and he´s around Viktors age.
“Please don´t hurt me,” the boy whimpers, wiping his snotty nose on his shoulder. Tilting his head, Viktor watches the boy gasp for air and gasp for air and gasp for air. He starts breathing in a way that doesn´t sound quite right, all tight and short and shallow, so Viktor smacks his foot with the bottom of his cane.
“Ouch! What was that for?”, the boy whines, putting his hands over his feet.
“You were freaking out. Who are you? You´re not from here,” Viktor demands to know, still staring down at the boy.
“I´m Jayce,” he sniffles, then coughs. “I…was playing…and there was this crack…and I wanted to check it out and - and then I fell down and and I hit my head and my knee hurts and -”
Viktor ignores the rest of his rambling. He fell down. He could´ve only fallen down when he was at up there, the top.
“You´re a Topsider,” he interrupts, taking a little step back.
“I…I just wanna go back home to my Ma!"
A fresh batch of tears appear in Jayce´s eyes; while wiping them away, clearly frustrated, he bumps against the injury over his brow and starts crying even more, interrupted by the occasional cough that in the end makes him hiccup. He truly is a Topsider, he´s struggling with every inhale down here.
“Why´d you fall in the first place? Are you stupid?”
“N-No, I´m not stupid! Ma says I´m super smart!”
Tilting his head, Viktor absentmindedly taps his cane against the ground.
“What is that, anyways?”, Jayce asks, curiosity in his eyes while tears still roll down his cheeks.
“My cane. Problem?”
“Hm? No! Why do you have it?”
“I need it to walk. Mama says my leg was fucked when I was born so I can´t walk like the normal kids.”
With a gasp, Jayce stares up at him.
“You said a bad word,” he whispers. “Ma always gets mad when I curse.”
“Your Ma sounds weird,” notices Viktor.
“She´s not! She´s the best in the world! Did you make that cane yourself? Can I see?”
“Don´t break it, you hear me?”
Hesitantly, Viktor hands his cane into Jayce´s patiently waiting hands and leans against the box for stability instead. But Jayce doesn´t swing it around like a sword like the other kids used to when they stole his cane - when they still paid attention to him. Instead, he carefully places it in his now folded legs and lets his finger travel over the bolts and screws and folded metal.
“You really made that yourself?” When Viktor nods, Jayce´s entire face lights up. “That´s so cool! Dad sometimes lets me help out in the forge but he says I´m too young to build my own stuff yet. I really really badly want to, though! Did your dad teach you that?”
“No,” frowns Viktor, taking his cane back. “My dad is dead. I taught me all myself.”
“Oh.” For a moment, Jayce looks unsure of what to say next.
“I think I know how to get you back home. Come on.”
Viktor watches Jayce struggle to stand and wince when he puts weight on his hurt leg. Still, he pulls his brows together in determination and shows Viktor to lead the way.
They mostly get through without problems. Viktor has only been in the Lanes a couple of times, mostly because his mother showed him where to get help, if anything ever were to happen to her. From time to time Viktor pushes Jayce into the shadow of houses before following him. Most people here aren´t unkind to kids as long as you stay out of their way. By the time they reach the Last Drop, Viktor is shaking in exhaustion and Jayce is back to being whiny and teary-eyed. Viktor doesn´t dare enter through the main door because Jayce is a Topsider and he´s not sure what people might do if they find out, so he sneaks around the back. It takes some knocking but then, the wooden door creaks open and a large shadow falls into the alleyway.
“Viktor! Boy, are you lucky I´ve been back here. Who´s your friend?”
Vander looks like always, big and hulky and kind. He´s one of the few grownups Viktor likes.
“That´s Jayce,” he explains. “He´s from the Topside, he´s hurt. Help him.”
He´s about to turn and leave when Vander, a laugh on his lips and a heavy hand on Viktor´s shoulder, stops him.
“Not so fast, young man. You two are gonna come inside and tell me exactly what happened. Come on, no need to look at me like that. In you go. Felicia will be excited to see you.”
Lighting up a bit, Viktor slips past Jayce and Vander and enters the backrooms of Vander´s bar. Here, between boxes upon boxes of drinks and food, stands an old, sat-through couch. Jaycee sneezes when Viktor flops down on it and temptively sits on the edge next to him, looking around with big, scared eyes.
“I´m Vander, kid, it´s alright. I´ll be right back, yeah?” Jayce nods lightly and follows Vander leaving with his eyes before turning towards Viktor.
“What is this place? I´m scared…”
“A bar,” Viktor explains, stretching his aching leg out in front of him. “Mama said that if I´m ever in trouble, Vander would know what to do. So that´s what I´m doing.”
The door opens again and Vander returns, followed by Felicia. Viktor has only seen her twice out of the few times he´s been here, but she´s nice. Her dark purple hair has been braided and she´s wearing a dress similar to the one his mother used to wear years and years ago. Nervously, she glances over towards Vander, who rolls his eyes and nudges her closer.
“They´re kids, Fel, you´ll be fine.”
Upon coming closer, Viktor notices her holding a small leather bag in a hand that she, once she´s in front of Jayce, places on the ground.
“I´ll just patch you up, yeah?”, she smiles softly, warm eyes taking in Jayce´s frightened, dirty appearance. While his wounds get cleaned, Felicia wraps him up into a conversation exciting enough for him to chatter on and on and completely forget about the pain.
“Tell me, kid,” Vander starts, sitting on a chair opposite of Viktor. “What exactly happened here?”
“I found him,” Viktor frowns. “He was crying and I heard it. Said he fell through a crack all the way down here.”
“Oh, you poor thing,” Felicia sighs, patting Jayce´s hair while putting a bandaid over the wound on his forehead.
“I was just playing and wanted to check it out,” mumbles Jayce quietly, eyes cast down to his trembling hands. “I…tried to ask for help but this guy just…yelled at me…so I ran.”
“You did good, bringing him here.” Vander nods approvingly, making Viktor´s chest swell in pride. “I´ll bring you back up, yeah? To the bridge, the Enforcers will bring you back home.”
“But my mum can´t find out where I was! She´s gonna be so mad!”
“We´ll see what I can do,” Vander calms him down, chuckling. “Let´s get you boys some food and then it´s time for you to go back home, hm?”
Vander leaves the room again, taking Felicia with him. It´s quiet for a moment before Jayce speaks up again.
“She was nice,” he mumbles, cheeks rosy. Viktor frowns, but says nothing.
“Can…can we meet again some day?”
That makes Viktor turn his head, staring at Jayce in disbelief.
“What?”
“Meet…again…I don´t have many friends my age and…you helped me and…maybe you can teach me how to build things? I´m a really quick learner!”
“How in the world would you even manage to come down here? Fall through another crack?”
Frowning, Jayce crosses his arms in front of his chest. “No. I´ll let you know that I´m very fast and sneaky. I´ll find a way!
“You have a deathwish,” Viktor notices. It´s the next plausible explanation of why anyone would voluntarily come down here.
“I don´t! I just…don´t have anyone to play with!”
Blinking, Viktor tilts his head to the side, thinking. He would´ve thought that people up there live in gluttony, having too much of everything, even friends. Huh.
“...fine. But I´m not coming up there. Ever.”
“And I don´t want to go back to where you found me…the air was very bad down there.”
“It´s bad everywhere down here. It´s your peoples fault,” grumbles Viktor, feeling protective for reasons he doesn´t quite understand.
“I´m sorry that my people are mean to your people,” mumbles Jayce, eyes large and honest. It´s a bit unbearable to look at him. “But I won´t be mean to you! Promise. We can be friends and friends are never ever mean to each other!”
“...okay.”
“You´re Viktor, right? Cool! Ma says it´s important to say thank you, so, thank you for helping me!”
Vander comes back with two smoking bowls of silverberry porridge and Viktor eats so fast, he burns the roof of his mouth. It´s so worth it. Jayce, next to him, is slow and careful in trying it but when he does, his eyes light up again and he grins at Viktor.
Because Jayce is a topsider and apparently gets a lot of food at home, he has some leftovers that Viktor happily devours as well. The hot food has made him warm and sleepy but there´s no time to take a nap before Vander returns once more, this time with his coat in his arm.
“Ready to go?”
Viktor follows the two outside but stops at the corner of the Last Drop. Never before has he gone even a step further. Jayce, holding onto Vanders hand, takes a couple of steps before noticing that Viktor is not behind him. Instead of asking, he just turns and waves, a huge smile on his face that shows a gap in his teeth Viktor hasn´t noticed before.
“See you soon, yeah?”
Nodding, Viktor timidly raises a hand and waves back. He stays until Vander and Jayce, now no more than two figures in the smog, fully disappear. Then, he turns and starts the tiring, gruesome walk back home without waiting for Vander to return. That night, he doesn´t tell his mother where he´s been, what has happened, who he´s met, he just nods when she asks if he had a nice day and lets her pull him closer, lulled into sleep by her stroking his hair.

OT13 reaction to their s/o cutely asking for kiss
Request: hiii my love🥹🥹 i love your writing so so much (。・ω・。)ノ♡ i have a request for you if you’re up to it!! how would svt ot13 react to reader asking (cutely) for kisses? only if you’re up to it ofc!! i feel like your writing style would suit something like this so well eeeee sjkshak ♡^▽^♡ i hope you have a lovely day !!! (´▽`).。o♡
A/N: It may not be perfect and up to expectations, but I really hope you like it.
Content: Fluff and me cussing because I got no self control, sorry.
Seungcheol: He’d immediately melt, his heart practically liquefying at the sight—your cuteness. Seriously, this man has no defenses against it. His gaze soften with that soft, lovesick gaze of his. He’s way too in love to even pretend like he's cool about it. His hand finds the small of your back as he pulls you closer, his warmth enveloping you completely. He’d plant a featherlight kiss on your forehead—because god forbid you think he doesn't appreciate you being this adorable, then, his lips brush yours, soft and deliberate like he’s savoring every second. His other hand tilts your chin up just slightly, and the kiss deepens—not rushed, but slow and intoxicating, the kind that leaves you feeling weightless. He’s totally aware of the power you hold over him. You're the softest, most lovable thing he’s ever seen, and he’s fully prepared to kiss the hell out of you whenever you ask (•̀o•́)ง
Jeonghan: This man. This Man. He wouldn't give in so easily, because where's the fun in that? The moment you looked at him with those big, pleading eyes, he'd tilt his head, smirk tugging at the corners of his lips like he's got all the time in the world to tease you. And he does because he's Jeonghan, and your patience is his favorite thing to toy with. He'd wait until you started to pout, yes, the pout, and then it's game over. His smirk would break. And then, boom-attack mode activated. He'd lean in, catching you completely off guard as he kissed you everywhere. Forehead, cheeks, nose, lips-this man's got zero chill when it comes to your cuteness. You'd barely have time to breathe before he's back for more, because yeah, he's a menace, but he's also so fucking whipped.
Joshua: Joshua fucking Hong. He's a soft yet calculated menace (evil twin for a reason) who knows exactly how to make you melt. He'd glance at you, his ears turning the most adorable shade of pink, before reaching out to cup your face so softly. And then, The kiss. It'd be so gentle, so sweet, but Joshua isn't done. He'd pull back just slightly, only to press pecks all over your face. You'd think he's finished, but then-bam-he's back for your lips again, It's enough to make you want to scream into a pillow, because how is this man real?! He's soft and teasing and completely ruining you all at once, and he's smiling so sweetly the entire time, like he doesn't know he knows the chaos he's causing.
Jun: Before you could even blink, he’d lean in, his hands cradling your face and start smothering you in kisses. And I mean everywhere. Your cheeks, your forehead, the tip of your nose—nothing is safe from his assault of affection. You’d be giggling uncontrollably because, how do you not laugh when someone is this aggressively adorable? And when your giggles turn into that breathless kind of laughter that makes your cheeks hurt, Jun would pause for just a second, giving you the softest look ever (ಥ﹏ಥ) before diving back in for more. Seriously, are you kidding me? This is the cutest shit ever.
Hoshi: Soonyoung would have zero chill like a tiger. Like, none. You’d ask for kisses, and this man would scream, “KWON SOONYOUNG WILL DELIVER!” And then, boom—couch tackle. I’m not kidding; he’d literally throw himself at you like it’s a wrestling match, his weight knocking you back into the cushions as he grins like an absolute madman. He’d pepper your face with so many pecks that your cheeks would be flushed, your hair a mess, and your stomach would hurt from laughing so much, but does Soonyoung stop? Absolutely not. He’s all-in because of how cute you are. I mean, come on. This man’s kisses are a fucking serotonin boost (。♥‿♥。)
Wonwoo: Wonwoo would literally freeze, like his brain just blue-screened. You’d watch as he blinked at you, clearly trying to process how cutely you asked. The way his ears would start turning the tiniest bit pink. But then, oh my god, the smile. That shy, little barely there smile would creep onto his face, and it’s game over for you. He’d lean in so carefully, as if you might shatter, and place the softest fuckass kiss on your lips, pulling back just enough to whisper, “You’re adorable,” ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Sir? Hello?? And the way he looks at you after, like you just handed him the moon? Yeah.
Woozi: Flustered Woozi is a whole mood, and you’d get front-row seats to the show. The moment the word ‘kisses’ leaves your lips, he’d stammer, his face turning about twelve shades of red faster than you could blink. It’s adorable, but also, Jihoon? Get a grip, bro. He’d try to act all nonchalant, but you know he’s losing his mind. Shit, this is red too. BUT no matter how flustered he gets, he can’t resist you. He’d finally lean in, quick as lightning, pressing a shy kiss to your lips before pulling back. He’d then grumble something like, “Don’t ask like that, it’s too much,” while still avoiding your eyes because you’re TOO cute, and he can’t handle it. Honestly, Woozi being this soft is enough to make you (us) want to sob (。T ω T。)
Dokyeom: Oh, Seokmin. Sweet, sunshine Seokmin. His face would light up like a goddamn Christmas tree the second the words leave your mouth. “Of course!” he’d exclaim, already grinning from ear to ear. He’d lean in with all the drama of a lead in a romantic K-drama, his hands cradling your face as he starts peppering sweet, playful kisses across your lips and cheeks. He’d be giggling the whole time, because your cuteness is literally too much for him. Honestly, are you fucking kidding me?! The way he’d pull back just to give you that soft, adoring smile before diving back in for more? Yeah, you’re ruined. Completely and utterly ruined ♡
Mingyu: He lives for riling you up. The second you ask, he’d shoot you this cheeky smirk, leaning closer like he’s trying to interrogate you. “Oh? You want kisses from me? Is this a bribe?” he’d say, all smug, because he’s that guy. And before you can even start protesting because seriously, who bribes for kisses?!—he’s already scooping you up like you weigh nothing (show-off) and smothering you in kisses. Like, everywhere. Your cheeks, your forehead, your nose—hell, he might even go for your hands if he’s feeling extra (which he is). “I’m kidding,” he’d whisper in between kisses, his voice all soft and warm. “I’d kiss you all day if you let me.” And the way he’s looking at you? Like you hung the damn stars in the sky? Yeah, Mingyu wins. We all lose. Someone call a medic, because this is too much.
Minghao: Minghao would give you the look. You know, the one that’s equal parts of amusement and disbelief, like he’s genuinely questioning you? “Kisses, huh?” He’d make you repeat yourself. Not once, but twice. Because apparently, your cute little request wasn’t enough for him the first time. The audacity! But oh, when you finally repeat yourself, all shy and adorable, his smirk would soften, and he’d lean in to place the most deliberate, gentle kiss on your lips. And then he’d just pull back, shrugging like it’s no big deal like he’s completely unfazed. But don’t let that fool you—inside, he’s melting, because how are you this fucking cute?! And honestly? Same, Minghao. Same.
Seungkwan: Sweet, dramatic, extra Seungkwan. He’d gasp so loudly you’d think you just insulted his entire family tree. “Aigoo, you want kisses from me? What are you, a baby?” he’d exclaim, all mock-offended and ridiculous. But then, you pout. And here’s where the real magic happens. Because Seungkwan? This man would immediately crumble. Before you know it, he’s absolutely peppering your face with kisses and in between, he’d be muttering something like, “Why did I tease you? I’m such an idiot. You’re too cute.” He’d pull back just to check if you’re smiling again, and when you are? More kisses. Because Seungkwan doesn’t half-ass anything, especially when it comes to you.
Vernon: The moment you ask him for kisses, Vernon is the type to get caught off guard so easily, it’s kind of adorable. “Oh, uh… sure?” he’d say but he’s secretly dying inside, because how could you be this cute asking for a kiss?! Vernon would lean in as if he’s got it all under control, but you just know his heart is doing somersaults as he places the softest kiss on your lips. When he pulls back, laughing a little, he’d look at you with that adorable grin of his, completely charmed by your cuteness. “You’re cute for asking like that, though,” he’d say, shaking his head. Because, really, how the hell did you get so cute, and how are you making him feel this flustered over something so simple?! You’ve got him wrapped around your finger, and he knows it.
Dino: Okay, can we just talk about how freaking excited Dino would get? He’d practically bounce in place, heart eyes and filled with excitement, as if you just offered him a lifetime supply of ice cream. It’s honestly ridiculous, and you’d probably start laughing at his reaction, which would make him even more fluffy. He’d lean in quickly, planting an exaggerated kiss on your lip. “You’re the cutest thing ever!” he’d shout, and you’d barely have time to process before he’s back again, giving you another kiss, this time on the cheek, because he can and also, he’s obsessed with how you look when you ask. Dino would be so so fuzzy.

Hihi!! Do you think you could maybe do father figure tim wright reacting to his kid (reader) sneaking out? :> Thank u! ^^
MORE ANGST??? MORE DAD ANGST???
cooking up something devious rn >:)
Idk what to Title this :)
Walking alongside the beat up pavement, you slowly dragged yourself toward the inevitable. Tim had texted you a few hours ago, asking where you had been. After you saw the notification on your Lock Screen, you knew that you were done for.
It had been a quiet evening in the small cabin. Toby and Brian were out and about, some random last minute mission. Kate was currently away at another mission, while Cody had locked himself away to work on a science project. You, bored out of your skull, had only been mindlessly scrolling through social media when you decided to leave.
Thinking a little, you knew that Tim wouldn’t want you leaving this late (unless it would have been work related). So, you took to being a normal and reckless teen, opening your window and jumping down, running off into the woods.
That was three hours ago.
You had been laying on a rock, looking up at the star, mapping out the galaxy in your mind. The constellations captivated your mind, allowing their stories to play out in dramatic scenes. You smiled, taking notice of the brightly lit North Star, remembering how it had saved you on many occasions.
A loud ‘buzz’ had knocked you out of your daze, glancing down at the phone to see a message from Tim. Without even reading it, you knew you were screwed. Something just screamed at you, telling you that he knew you had snuck out and would be in loads of trouble.
Picking up the device, you unlocked it and looked at the message. ‘Get home. Now.’ It was simple and too the point. Letting out a sigh, you took one look back up at the stars before making your way back to the cabin.
That brings us to the present, standing in front of the dimly lit run down cabin. From the outside, it didn’t even look inhabitable. Walking up the stairs, each one creaking under your weight, you grabbing your key. Unlocking the door and turning the knob, you took a few breathes, trying to mentally prepare yourself for the lecture.
Pushing open the heavy door, you could see Tim sitting out the kitchen island, his face hidden in shadows. You swiftly entered and shut the door behind, locking it and straightening your posture.
“Uhh…hey,” you murmured. Was he angry? Upset? Worried? The shadows cast down on Tim made it impossible to even see his face.
“Where’d you go?” The southern drawl to his voice ever apparent as you shuddered. He was so serious!
“Just for a walk,” I responded, slinking up to the island and grabbing a glass out of the cupboard. “Wanted to get out, clear my head,” you stated as you filled the cup with water.
“Listen, I’m not going to lecture you,” your eyes widened slightly at his response, “but please, you have got to tell someone when you leave.”
“Huh?” You tilted your head to the side, earning a sigh from him. He rubbed his hands over his face, massaging the area around his eyes.
“Just…tell someone where you’re going, ok? I understand that you…you aren’t a little kid anyone,” the words were quiet and soft, uncharacteristic from the normal gruff tone.
“Yeah, I’m basically an adult,” you giggled, walking over and resting on the counter.
“Not to me, to me…you’re a kid,” Tim looked up at you, a tired look in his eyes. “I can’t control you, what you do, say, think. You’re getting older, and I have to accept that,” he sounded almost heartbroken. A soft smile made its way to your face as you looked at Tim, seeing his glaze casted downward.
“You’re a kid to me, always will be,” he said, referring to how young you were when you first met. You really weren’t that young, only 14. But that had been so long ago, it felt like a lifetime.
“I might not always be your little girl who you get to show how to use a gun,” you smiled, looking at the water in your glass, “but, I’ll always be your kid. Blood or not, you’re stuck with me.”
Tim laughed, rolling his eyes at you. He didn’t want to get rid of you, and he’d kill anyone who tried to take you from the little family in the woods.

“I have,” Adriana says. “And, wait… Eddie, you’ve killed people, too. Right?”
Eddie frowns at her. “Yes. In Afghanistan.”
“See, Mom? Eddie and I have killed. Sophia puts things down for a living.”
“Well, I do more than that,” Sophia grumbles.
“We’ve got a sort of grit I just don’t think you have,” Adriana says.
Eddie swallows anxiously. He’s not sure challenging her to a game of chicken is the route he’d take. But he got them this far. Maybe it’s time to pass the baton.
“See, I don’t think any of this was thought out ahead of time,” Adriana says. “And I get that. Hell, do I ever. You’re not playing chess here, Mom. You’re just surviving. Trying to hold your little delusion together. Every decision you make is out of desperation.”
Eddie waits for Helena to reach across the table and strike her. It doesn’t happen.
“So do it, Mom,” Adriana says. “Let him go or kill him. I don’t think you’ve really thought through what will happen if you choose the latter.”
Their mother locks her jaw. Her eyes flicker between Adriana and Ramon. There’s an incredibly tense moment where Eddie has no idea how this will go. And then enough moments pass, and he realizes Adriana is right. If Helena was serious about murdering their dad, she would have already. She’s right - it’s all been an act to hold her flimsy life together.
“Three…” Adriana says. “Two…”
Helena opens her mouth, as if she’s about to command Ramon to do it. To stab himself. Sophia flinches. Eddie holds his breath. His mother’s mouth snaps shut.
“One,” Adriana finishes.
Helena exhales, defeated.
Adriana turns to their father. “Dad, you can let go of the knife now. You don’t have to listen to her, remember? You can think for yourself.”
Helena starts to cry.
Ramon inhales heavily. His eyes flicker around, conflicted.
“It’s okay, Dad,” Adriana says. “You can let go.”
Like he’s been resuscitated, Ramon gasps and drops the knife. He stands and takes a few frantic steps backward, bumping into a cabinet and nearly knocking over some crystalware. He looks terrified. He looks small, in a way.
“What’s happening?” He demands. “Helena, what did you do?”
Eddie looks between them both. His parents. He spent so many years afraid of them. His father especially, but his mother as well. Afraid of their judgement. Their lectures. Their hands. Their punitive attitudes towards his decisions. Their willingness to rip his son from him. And now he’s looking at them and he’s just… Unafraid. Saddened. This is pathetic. This is all so damn pathetic.
And something in Eddie’s chest just kind of unlocks. Like a stiff joint cracking.
“Mom,” Eddie says. “Tell him what you did.”
“No, no,” Helena begs. “Please. This doesn’t have to-”
“Tell him!” Eddie snaps. “Tell him what we are.”
Ramon looks at Eddie. Then he turns to Adriana. And the look on his face is one of pure horror. Rejection.
Well.
That’s okay.
Eddie thinks he wants to reject this circus first.
🍂
“Okay,” Buck says, putting in the address to the nearest motel in his phone map. “Repeat the plan.”
“We go to the motel. We sleep a few hours. You order me a bunch of pizza and drinks before you leave. You go get Dad, and I don’t open the door for anybody unless I physically see him.”
“Right,” Buck confirms as he pulls out of the parking lot. “I’ll leave you with Bobby and Maddie’s phone numbers. If there’s an emergency, either of them would come for you. Or-or they’d send Chimney.”
“Okay.”
“I hate even thinking about leaving you alone, but I can’t take you with me.”
“I know, Buck. It’s okay.”
“You’re sure?” Buck asks.
“Yeah,” Chris nods. “I haven’t… Uh, I haven’t felt like I could be alone for real in a while.”

---
It goes on that way for weeks. Calls and online games mostly, but twice a week, Buck and Eddie are over in the yard, either doing garden chores, or directing Chris with his. Sometimes, when the weather is right, Shannon will lay a blanket on the opposite side of the yard and sit out there with them. Jane will sit up on the blanket, some brightly colored toy in her hand, watching them work intently and babbling little baby sounds. Eddie gets to talk to her. Gets to answer back like they’re having a conversation.
For those weeks, Chris seems happy. Shannon seems happy. Jane, well… She’s a baby. Her mood changes with the hour. But she seems good, too. Great, even. Eddie just can’t wait to hold her again.
“You’re in a better mood lately,” Buck observes one afternoon, driving home from gardening.
“I miss the kids,” Eddie says. “It’s just good to be with them, in whatever way we can be.”
Buck nods, smiles softly. “Yeah. You’re different after you see them. I… I love having you all the time, but I wish it didn’t have to be this way.”
Eddie exhales heavily. “Me too.”
Buck smiles again, but there’s a sad look in his eye.
“What is it?” Eddie asks.
“Nothin’,” Buck clearly lies.
“No, really,” Eddie presses. “What’s up?”
“I’ll just miss not being with you every day,” Buck says. “Even if I know it’s for the best.”
Eddie takes a deep breath.
“If you think I’m letting you go, Buck… You’re crazy.”
Buck scrunches his lips to the side for a second, blushing.
“I’d hope not,” he mumbles.
“Definitely not,” Eddie confirms. “And, it’s not just… I mean, you’re there every time, too. You’re family, okay? I take that seriously.”
That kind of leaves Buck speechless for a second. Eddie knows he takes it seriously, too.
v.
The last time Eddie came home - really came home, after being far away - it hadn’t exactly been his choice. He was shot out of the sky and littered with bullets and nearly died. Shannon nearly lost him. He didn’t come home. He was sent home. Not his choice. Shannon always wondered, would he have reenlisted? Would it just have kept happening, if it had been left up to him? If he hadn’t been medically discharged, when would she have snapped? What would have happened? Would she have divorced the empty side of their bed?
She doesn’t know. That’s not the point. The point is, today, after another prolonged absence - albeit not his choice or fault, and much preferable to Afghanistan - Eddie comes home as soon as he possibly can. Restrictions are lowered. Eddie takes a test. And the moment it’s clear, he’s on his way. No hesitations. No excuses. He’s just coming home.
Shannon tells Chris. He whoops with excitement.
“You’re sure?” He asks, giddy.
“I’m sure,” she promises. “He’s ten minutes away, sweetie.”
Her son is so happy he starts to cry.

It doesn’t quite go that way.
Eddie wakes up to Christopher shouting.
“NO!”
This is a rather alarming way to be woken. Eddie, startled, nearly rolls out of bed and hops to his feet to run to him, before he remembers his foot.
“I got it,” Buck mumbles, climbing out of bed with a yawn.
The whole point of today was for Buck to sleep in and take it easy, but what can they do? A shout like that requires some haste. Eddie can’t currently be hasty. Eddie lags behind as Buck hurries out of the room, in search of Christopher. He finds them in the bathroom. Buck’s broad frame blocks Eddie’s view inside the doorway.
“This is horrible! Prom is ruined!” Chris complains.
“No,” Buck says gently. “No, it’s not that bad. Really!”
“What is it?” Eddie asks. “What’s going on?”
“My life is over!” Chris bemoans.
Buck sighs and steps aside, letting Eddie into the bathroom.
“Look,” Chris points to his forehead. His forehead, where, smack in the middle, there is a massive, red zit. “It’s horrible.”
“Oh, wow,” Eddie says dumbly.
Buck nudges him.
Christopher’s face crumples even further.
“I mean!” Eddie leaps to fix his statement. “I mean, it’s not that bad. Wow, your reaction was… Big, because the zit is not.”
“Oh, great save,” Buck mutters.
“You’re lying!” Chris practically whines. “It’s horrible!”
Eddie sighs. He fucked this one up.
“Okay, you know what? It’s not great.” He admits. “But prom isn’t ruined. We can fix this.”
“Can we?” Chris asks. “Because they don’t just disappear!”
“No. No, they don’t,” Eddie agrees.
“But we can hide it!” Buck interjects.
“Hide it?” Chris asks.
“Yeah!” Buck nods enthusiastically. “Yep. We can, uh… Today we can work on getting the redness down, and tomorrow we can use some makeup.”
“Makeup?” Chris asks. “I can’t do makeup! I don’t know how!”
“Well…” Eddie winces. “You must have friends that do. Ainslee does, right?”
“What?” Chris demands. “She can’t see this! She can’t know!”
“Eddie, how did you ever get a girl to take you seriously?” Buck chides. “No, Chris. Don’t worry. We’ll look it up on YouTube.”
To his question, Eddie has no idea. Realizing he’s gay was incredibly liberating, in that he never has to think about that again. And, on top of that, Buck is pretty easy to be around. No stress. No pressure.
“YouTube,” Chris sighs. “Right. Okay. Buck, you’ll help me?”
“Of course,” Buck nods.
“I can help, too!” Eddie insists.

@penna-nomen I went a little sideways with this but I hope you still enjoy it!!
Mozzie walked into, frankly, a mess.
Neal was sitting at the dinning table, which really was a cheap card table, cutting up the blank papers they had been prepping for the next bonds.
“What the hell are you doing?” He asked, setting their take out and fresh bottle of wine on to the table. “Do you know how long-“
“They’re a disaster Moz. Completely unusable. The, the weight of the paper sucks, and it’s making the coloring bleed, like- look at this.” He slides one of the cut up squares over to Mozzie.
Mozzie can’t see anything, other than some microdots of seepage. “What are you talking about, these would’ve been fine-“
“Fine doesn’t cut it. They have to be perfect and these papers are far fucking from it.” Neal picks up his exacto knife and resumes cutting the papers.
They’ve been running for three days, and are currently hiding out in a cheap apartment in San Francisco, and clearly the toll was starting to wear on Neal. Mozzie needed to remind himself that, despite his proficiency for crime, Neal wasn’t used to the lifestyle yet.
Mozzie had rented the place for two weeks, but they needed to turn in the bonds in two days. “Kid, listen-“
“I’m not a kid.” Neal huffs, glaring at Mozzie through his eyelashes in a way that makes him, in fact, look startlingly young.
“Neal,” he amends, “we have thirty-six hours to turn these in, after that the banks will be closed for the holidays and we’re screwed. If we want to take advantage of the holiday season, we need to-“
“I’ll have them Mozzie, okay! I will! Just not with this paper!”
“Okay, okay.” Mozzie sighed. One of his greatest skills as a conman was knowing when he was talking to a brick wall. “I’ll find new paper tomorrow. Right now you’re going to eat and go to bed.”
Neal snorted and grabbed one of the cut square he made, running his fingers over it. “When did you suddenly become my dad?”
“When did you start swearing and calling me Mozzie instead of Moz?”
Neal’s expression faltered and he sat back in his seat, backing down from the tension and anger that had started to brew in him.
They weren’t friends, exactly. They were…codependent. Neal had the looks and the charm but lacked in experience, and Mozzie had experience but…They weren’t friends. As soon as Neal learned everything Mozzie could teach him, he’d set off and start running the gambit on his own.
So, in an effort to savor the profits while he could, Mozzie plated the food and poured the wine and brought it over. In the time he was gone, Neal turned the quarter finished bond forgery into a small paper crane and was working on a second one. His movements were sure and confident, and soon the second bird earned its place.
“You do origami a lot?” Mozzie asked.
Neal shrugged, quickly taking a bite before he started on a third. “Used to. I learned that…yknow, about the belief that a thousand could grant wishes. And we had… once my mom bought a bunch of wrapping paper from some kids raising money for a fundraiser. It was- whatever. We had a bunch of it and no use for it, so.” He finished the bird and flicked it, watching it slide to Mozzie’s side of the table.
“Did you ever make a thousand?”
“I made two thousand before we ran out. Hung a bunch of them from my ceiling. The wrapping paper was all glittery, kind of looked like constellations at night.” Neal hummed a little, eyes far away as he recalls wishing on stars he crafted himself. “It was…nice actually. Even if they didn’t work.”
Mozzie tapped his wine glass a few times in consideration. “Maybe, maybe not,” he picked up his glass and held it towards Neal. “Might just not have had a…wide enough scope of what a wish coming true looked like. Maybe just need to adjust your scope.”
Neal grinned at him then, a small light returning his tired eyes, and picked up his wine glass to tap against Mozzie’s. “To wishes coming true?”
“To wishes coming true!”
It wasn’t that night, but Neal did get some real sleep for the first time in days. It wasn’t the next day, but Mozzie did manage to get the better papers. It wasn’t in two weeks, when they pocketed the cash, and it wasn’t in a year, when they were living the good life.
It was six years later, in a Brooklyn home, with the worst company Mozzie could ever imagine enjoy keeping, that a folded crane slid across the dining table toward him.
Neal smiled and winked, flicking a second paper crane between his fingers and making it disappear before he turned his attention back towards the story Elizabeth was enthusiastically telling. A rush of understanding passed through Mozzie at the look of contentment on Neal’s face and the relaxation in his posture, clearly happy in the loving environment they had found themselves in despite the circumstances.
To wishes coming true indeed.

okay soooo i started translating my kgkr fic which still hasn't seen the light, not even in my native language soooooo i wanted to know what you guys thought??? please???????? i accept non-constructive criticism thank u bye
for context, this is a firefighter kagami x kindergarten teacher kuroko where kuroko takes care of kagami's twins and they meet... under certain circumstances. anygaysss here goes a (not so) little wip of chapter 1 :D
Take me back to the fire behind your eyes – a very KagaKuro fanfiction.
He'd been considering it for a while.
It had been exactly four years since he graduated from college, three since he managed to get a pretty good job as a teacher at a kindergarten near his apartment, two since his life started spiraling down a routine, just like most of his friends had told him.
And one since he started to feel his passion had been burnt down forever.
Kids were something he'd always loved. From a young age he possessed the magic-like ability to make them fall asleep just by holding them in his hands for just a few minutes –something that didn't go unnoticed by his aunties and some of his mother's friends, as they always asked him to take care of their children–, and somehow he never got bothered by them. He found himself having good times whenever he was around children, and it was just a matter of time until he felt that this was his calling – this was something he could use to make a living out of himself in the near future, powered by the need to protect and take care of those little bundles of joy. It was just the right thing to do, he'd thought at the moment.
It came as unsurprising as his very presence when he told his most loved ones he wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, and his father as well as his mother showed him all the support and love from always, knowing very well that their young Tetsuya would be more than perfect to fulfill his chosen role.
And he was – for a while.
His first job was at a daycare center, the only one the city he grew up in had at the moment. Every other school in the area was already full staffed, so it wasn't possible for him to apply to a bigger school, like he'd been looking out for. That didn't discourage him, as he knew it wasn't going to be an easy task to find the perfect job on the first try, and ended up taking the place as the youngest teacher ever since the daycare opened.
To say the kids liked him was an understatement. The first day he had at least four different kids crying their eyes out as he waved them goodbye, and this was more than enough for the rest of the staff to keep the name of Kuroko Tetsuya on their lips for the rest of the week. Everyone was surprised at how easily Tetsuya's personality acted like a magnet, making the kids get attached to him and, in consequence, it was easier for him to handle them.
This, of course, got him the full-time position he deserved.
Thanks to that he started to plan on the next step of his initial plan: he wanted to move. From the very beginning he knew he wouldn't be able to fulfill his dreams by staying at that small city, and although he had in mind he'd get hurt if he had to leave his family as well as his friends and colleagues, he knew the reward would make everything matter if he moved to the nearest big city.
It took him a few months to make it happen, and suddenly he was looking through the window of his new apartment; the entire metropolis was alive a few meters down him, filled with different things – vehicles and noises and people (a lot of people) all new to him. Everything was new to him, especially the colorful variety of new noises that filled his senses.
Luckily for him, it didn't take long to get used to everything that was new.
He'd been applying to different job positions in different schools from the city, a few weeks before he got the apartment, so it wasn't hard for him to get a job. In fact he got hired a week later he finished moving, and it made everything easier for him. The way to his new school was a little longer than he'd had liked – he had to take a train and a bus. But that was fine, as long as he could start working and getting closer and closer to his dream.
But everything started to change when he decided to move, again. Once he got himself a full-time position in the same school, it meant it was time to get closer to the main building. Having to take two different kinds of transportation every day was starting to take a toll on him, and he really needed to sleep a little more every day if he wanted to be as concentrated as possible. His new job was as good as the first one, with friendly colleagues and all different kinds of children coming and going every day. Everything was good with him, so he always felt motivated to go to his job and do what he was best at.
Everything was going really well, even for Kuroko. He didn't want to get discouraged, much less feel like he wasn't on his way to fulfill his dream.
Everything… until he could hear the silence.
Every aspect of his life had always been silent, almost transparent. His friends always told him he was some kind of ghost, as his presence was almost nonexistent everywhere he went. It was easy for him to go unnoticed to everything and everyone that went near him, as long as it wasn't paying any attention to him. So he was used to being silent. If you were looking out for him during recess, the best place you were going to find him was the most silent place a school could have: the library.
Silence was something that lived with him every second of his life.
But now, laying on his bed, surrounded by the four thick walls of his bedroom – he could feel this silence, hear it.
And suddenly he understood this silence was trying to tell him something was off.
At first he tried to ignore the sound, trying his best to think of this as just a phase his life was going through and it was about to end. But as the routine went on and on, it convinced him that he was wrong. Everything was real, what he felt was real, and everything was now lifeless, boring. Boring…
Yes, his life got boring.
His life… and his job.
He'd lost the fire that burnt inside his heart when he thought about his job.
That morning he felt like a complete stranger as he got ready to go out. The night before he started to see it, blinking his eyes constantly to understand how everything started to lose its color – leaving a dull-colored sight behind him with every step towards his apartment. The feeling of loneliness and monotony overwhelmed him as he tried to enjoy a cup of tea before going to bed, trying his best to focus on the tick-tock of his clock to see if it'd stop so he could look for a solution, but it was impossible. Silence started to devour him, and he felt its canines crack every one of his bones as he turned and tossed on his bed – this meant another night without sleeping.
He was trapped in a routine, and its silence made it harder for him to focus on anything besides every single detail that haunted him, the same ones he hadn't had the chance to notice before it was too late. He felt desperate, and it took him a while to finally calm down, but his mind stopped orbiting around the same thoughts he had been having every night since he understood what was happening.
How was he supposed to face the everything he used to love, now turned into nothing?
It was odd. The way he put on his clothes, the way he got up from his futon – even the way he breathed felt… odd. As if he wanted to get them off him. As if they weren't part of him, as if he was just living a weird illusion and he just had to wake up.
But he was awake, and he was living this illusion.
All of these sensations kept him company all the way to his school, whispering into his ears how he should not forget what he feels, because they were going to live with him from that moment and forever. It was really bothersome, and Kuroko prayed it would disappear before he could reach the school, but it only made it worse. He could hear the silence laugh at him as he walked towards the main building of the school, and shivered with every step closer he got to the east side of the campus, right where the school’s daycare center was.
That place was beautiful, filled with trees and flowers everywhere, which made it completely different to the concrete-filled rest of the school. The daycare main building consisted of an old house, painted with different colors to make it kid friendly, and it was surrounded by a beautiful meadow – exclusive for the little kids. Kuroko's first days at the place were filled with smiles as the entire place made his heart and his mind feel safe and at ease.
But that morning, with that heavy feeling on top of his shoulders, all he could do was breathe in and close his eyes.
“I wish all of this would disappear.”
He stopped his steps almost instantly, the same way his mind went blank, and could feel the pressure of his silence make its way into his stomach. How could he ever think that? That wasn't him – not even during his worst days would he ever dare to think about that place in that way.
But the truth was far different from that, and just for a second, he left his mind to think about it…
What would happen if he simply disappeared?
He started walking again as soon as he got rid of those thoughts, and tried his best to smile a little before finally going into the building. It got a little hard once he started saying hello to everyone, realizing every little detail about the routine that was haunting him, and couldn't get rid of the sensations until he finally was inside his classroom.
“Good morning.”
Kuroko's voice echoed throughout the whole room as soon as he closed the door, and every one of the little kids turned their heads to see who was there. Tetsuya smiled, and two of them rushed to greet him, as excited as always.
“Tetsu-sensei! Tetsu-sensei!” they said, and Kuroko's smile grew bigger as he saw the two smacks of red hair moving across the room until they were right in front of him. That was a big surprise, to have them there this early.
“Hiroki-kun, Hiroto-kun, what are you guys doing here?” he asked, getting on his knees so he could pick them up. One of them hugged their teacher by his neck, and the other just stared at his face, smiling. “Weren’t you supposed to be home for one more week?”
“Daddy had to go back to work,” replied Hiroki, pressing his hands on Kuroko's chest. Kuroko blinked, feeling those little hands slightly pulling on his clothes, and could see the way Hiroki’s eyes lost their brightness for a second before he smiled again. His brother just kept hugging his teacher. “But that's okay because we can finally see you again, Tetsu-sensei. We missed you so much!”
Hiroki's smile grew bigger at his own confession, and wrapped his arms around Tetsuya's neck, just like his brother. Kuroko smiled, pressing them a little harder against his chest and then left them on the floor again. He asked them to go play with the other kids for a moment as he needed to get ready for the day, and both nodded with a bright smile, leaving him alone.
Those two were the daycare’s twins Hiroki and Hiroto Kagami, as well as the older kids at the place, with both of them being three years old. When Kuroko started working at that place, the twins were already there for almost a year, and that made them the kids that stayed the longest at the daycare. The first few months Kuroko felt a little sorry for them, since they used to spend little to no time with their parents, and most of the times he had to wave them goodbye was while their grandparents were there to bring them home. It wasn't strange to think the twins’ parents didn't care for them at all, but he thought that it didn't matter as long as he could take care of them inside those four walls. He was just determined to make sure they felt all the love and care they didn't get at home.
And he really, really was determined. When he met them the twins were extremely introverted, and Kuroko found it weird as they had more than a year surrounded by all of those kids. They did play with the rest, but they seemed to act when other kids asked them to do something, and not by their own decision. To Kuroko, that meant he had to do something, to get them out of that state before it became a serious problem. To help them smile. The rest of the teachers told him a little about the twins' past, helping him understand the reasons behind such strange behavior, but also about the challenge that it was going to be.
But he was there for that, and there was nothing that could stop him from getting what he wanted.
He tried to be strong, the strongest he's ever been in his life, but sometimes the pressure around his heart felt unbearable. Most of the teachers told him to not let it get to him, as he had all of the tools to make sure the kids were being well taken care of, but it was impossible for him not to get carried away by his own emotions.
After all, he thought, how do you recover from the loss of one the most important person in your life that was your own mother?
Even the action of thinking about it made his throat go sore. He tried to get into their shoes, for just a second, but he felt worse every time. That didn't stop him from trying, and by the end of the day he learnt to walk alongside them, trying to see the world the way they did, trying to feel everything the way they felt it.
Little by little and guided by Tetsuya's hand, the twins' behavior started to change, and that meant the teacher's work was paying off. Sometimes he'd ask his grandmother to help him with recipes for sweet treats he could give the little ones, and took advantage of those moments to ask the Kagamis about what they liked, what they hated, and get to know them a little more.
With that, in less than a year Hiroki and Hiroto were completely different children – there wasn't a single day they weren't playing around and laughing.
Especially when their beloved Tetsu-sensei was around.
Kuroko's smile made its way to his lips as he finished tying up his apron –which was all decorated with little handprints–, and turned his gaze to the twins', whose laugh filled the entire room like every other day. The pressure on his stomach felt lighter.
“Now, what do you think about playing a little game?”
Every one of the kids turned their attention to the teacher, and the entire room lit up with the brightness in their eyes. All the possible games they could play started coming one by one out of their mouths, and Kuroko smiled with a sigh, trying his best to listen to all of their requests. Just like every other morning, it started once again…
The rest of the day went smoothly and calm, with just two or three kids crying because of a fight or a bruise. It was the first time in a while Tetsuya didn't feel too tired, and somehow everything felt oddly calm for his usual days at the job. He didn't stop, and he barely had any time to rest before the kids went to sleep for their evening nap, the perfect moment for him to finally have lunch.
Fortunately for him, he wouldn't have to spend his lunch time all alone.
“Hiroto, let Tetsu-sensei… finish his… meal,” said Hiroki between yawns, tired of holding his own head with his hand as he supported himself on the table, right next to Kuroko. The teacher smiled, and quickly placed his hand in front of Hiroki right before his forehead fell flat on top of the table, finally letting himself fall asleep.
“Shut up, Hiroki…” replied the other twin, giving an even bigger yawn than his brother's, still refusing to fall asleep. Kuroko smiled again, ready to catch him as soon as he closed his eyes, and saw Hiroto still playing with his toys. “We can't let… Tetsu-sensei eat alone. That's not what a gentleman does, like daddy says!”
Kuroko smiled, and fought the urge to laugh as he stretched his arm towards Hiroto, successfully catching him before he smacked his head against the table, just like his brother. Tetsuya sighed, surprised at what came out of the twins' head – everyday they seemed to get more and more interesting. Especially when they mentioned their father. In fact they were always talking about their father to Kuroko, and this made the teacher get curious about this mysterious man he hadn't had the pleasure to meet yet. Still, the way the twins described him, Kuroko couldn't help but think he would probably be a really interesting person.
And he let himself think a little more about it as he left the kids at their usual sleeping place, trying to picture someone similar to the kids, but just taller and bigger. The twins lost their mother when they were just one year old, so all they had left was their father, who seemed to have a tight agenda. Most of the times the twins were already at the daycare, so he never had the chance to meet Mr. Kagami in the flesh.
His thoughts drifted off as he finally stood in silence inside the room, the only noise that echoed inside being the birds outside, and his own thoughts, who started to get a little too hard to ignore for his own good. He blinked, trying to get back to reality, and suddenly found himself sitting down the only window the room had, with a book opened on top of his lap and the twins sleeping next to them. He breathed deeply, covered them with a blanket before ruffling their hair, and went back to his book.
However, it was getting a little hard, as the words seemed to disappear from the book as he tried to read them, and every page he turned it got more and more difficult to concentrate. Everything was coming back to him, pressing itself onto his stomach once again, and making his entire body freeze. He was really tired, and he needed to get rid of this sensation before something really bad happened, but it was almost impossible.
He felt himself get away from the room…
“Tetsu-sensei! Tetsu-sensei!”
His entire body started to feel warmer and warmer, feeling the silence from before burning up until every inch of his body was covered in warmth. Until he opened his eyes again, and all he could see was smoke and fire and everything turning into nothing, right in front of his eyes.
“Tetsu-sensei!” screamed Hiroki again, pulling a little harder at Tetsuya's clothes, while Hiroto used both hands to move his teacher's shoulders. It took him a while, but Tetsuya finally woke up, and the twins felt relieved.
“Hiroki-kun? Hiroto-kun? What is going on?”
Tetsuya’s mind was a complete disaster, and it took him a while to regain consciousness – at least enough to concentrate on what was happening around them. The entire room was filled with smoke, and his heart stopped for a second when he saw the fire trying to consume everything. And he reacted.
“It’s fire! Something is burning!” said Hiroki as Hiroto hugged Kuroko. His entire body was shaking, and his brother seemed to be in the same state. Kuroko hugged Hiroki, too, and tried getting up with both of them in his arms.
Every inch of the room was filled with smoke, which gave Tetsuya at least a glimpse of the time the fire had been active, as well as its intensity. Despair filled his lungs alongside the smoke as he tried looking everywhere, to check no one was still there with him, and finally started walking towards the door as he found themselves being the only ones inside.
The smoke was even worse outside, and Tetsuya coughed as he opened the door, which made all the oxygen and air from the hall rush into the room. It was getting harder and harder to breathe, especially since the twins were hanging off him with all the strength their little hands could offer. But he couldn’t stop. He needed to get out of there and get the children to safety, even if it meant to put his own life in danger.
Carefully he started to walk through the hall, focusing on walking towards the exit, but the smoke was growing thicker with every step. At some point he had to breathe again, and could feel his lungs getting filled with anything but oxygen, but he was a few steps away from the exit. His legs hurt like hell, and he felt he was losing the last of his air.
Unfortunately, he was also just one step away from tripping over something he couldn’t see, and fell to the floor, with the kids on top of him. A powerful groan as well as the last of his oxygen left his body when his back crashed against the wooden floor. He forced himself to fall onto his back so the children wouldn’t get hurt, but got himself terribly injured in the process, making his head a little dizzy.
And he tried his best to stabilize himself, but his vision started to get blurry as the last of his oxygen finally left his lungs. The last thing he saw before he lost consciousness once again was the kids, desperately trying to move him so he could get up and get them outside, and then something heavy falling on top of him as his eyes finally went completely shut.
At that moment, Kuroko felt time going completely frozen. He could hear things, but he couldn’t comprehend what made those sounds. He heard the crashing of things falling onto the ground, as they were completely destroyed and consumed by the fire; until the sounds morphed into something else, into some kind of sirens he couldn’t quite figure out if they were from police cars, ambulances or fire trucks. With that his mind started spiraling, and pressed his eyes shut even harder in a try to remember what was happening before he lost consciousness.
And then he felt the warmth.
The scent of burnt-down wood flooded his senses, making their way to his lungs, which sent the signals to his brain, and everything started to wake up. Consciousness lit up inside his head as time passed, feeling the burning heat envelope his body, from head to toe. He regained consciousness, and with that his memories, but he wasn’t shocked or scared. No, it was quite the other way around.
He felt like he was in heaven, with this heat hugging his figure with such care, as if it was trying to keep him safe.
All he could do was open his eyes.
“Are you okay?!”
Everything felt really confusing, as he was in a situation he never would’ve thought he would’ve found himself involved in. If he thought about it for a minute, nothing his body was feeling in that moment was slightly near to what he should be feeling regarding the situation. The warmth sensation of peace and safety filled his body in its entirety, letting himself get carried away by the heat that found home inside his body, and his gaze got lost inside those red eyes that left a trace of fire onto Tetsuya’s eyes.
It was extremely conflicting, because he felt he could lose consciousness as many times as he liked, let himself get carried away to any place in the world, and he could rest assured he would be safe and sound as long as he was near this warmth.
The glimpse of a smile was drawn onto his lips before he nodded to the man carrying him, and fell unconscious once again.
The smell of everything getting burnt down as well as the sounds slowly started to fade away behind him until the only thing that was left was silence, which enveloped Kuroko one more time. As if it had forgotten about him, and needed to go back to keep on tormenting him.
But this time the sensation was completely different. Because the silence was warm, and treated him ever so kindly he couldn’t help but let himself fall into the void of his own unconsciousness. Right before he fell completely asleep, black turned into red. The brightest red he had ever seen.
“Ah… So it was that…,” he thought to himself.
And everything went dark.

“Good for you.” (EDITED!)
A short little excerpt I wrote for The Winter Soldier, or a moment I think could’ve happened in the movie he was first introduced.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media

The chair was cold. It always was. It bit into his back like steel fangs, locking him into place as the harsh, sterile light illuminated his face. His breaths were shallow, uneven. The edges of his vision blurred with pain, but the memory was there—faint, fleeting, like smoke slipping through his fingers.
A face. Blonde hair. A shield. Steve.
Bucky—no, The Winter Soldier, he corrected himself—stared at the floor as Dreykov’s polished shoes clicked against the concrete. The sound was sharp, purposeful. It filled the suffocating silence between his labored breaths. His hands were right behind his back, face devoid of warmth completely.
“Good. You’re awake,” Dreykov said, his tone crisp and clinical. “Do you remember you place?” Not even a moment after, he’s already telling the scientists to prep him. Wipe. To get him ready for the pain, the electricity, the loss of a conscious.
That was the cruelty of those above you. Do you remember your place? For a second, the soldier didn’t respond. He knew the answer they wanted: I am the Winter Soldier. I am also called The Asset. I have no place outside of a mission.
He blinked against the haze in his mind, searching for something, anything, to anchor himself. That name, it sounded like nickname. The tone. But, it could be an actual name. The Winter Soldier would take it gladly, opposed to the title he has been given. But, he hasn’t known anything else. Taking that name, not knowing what it’s associated with — it’s scary. And it had to show on his face because the soldier felt the atmosphere shift and saw the cruel eyes of everyone around him sharpen like hawks.
“Did you hear me?” Dreykov asks again, taking a step closer. His voice harsher. “You are The Winter Soldier. Your place is nothing else but that. Do you understand?”
The Asset lifted his head, his jaw tight. His voice was hoarse from misuse, but that was the least of his problems and it came out low and raspy. “What if I don’t want that place?” He asked, genuinely. Like a kid asking a parent why they have to clean. “What if…I’m just me?”
Dreykov’s eyes glinted with amusement but his expression remained stern and cold as ice. He tilted his head slightly. “Just you? A man doesn’t have more than 50 kills on his head. But,” The Russian general began, “A soldier knows their mission, and they complete it. A soldier can kill in a war. If someone’s in your way, you crush them. Leave them to die. That is your place, your duty.”
The Winter Soldier’s eyes darkened. His voice dropped, laced with a bitter edge. “Well, I guess if I hesitate more, I won’t be of use. What’s stopping you from crushing me too? Go ahead.” He leaned forward as much as the restraints would allow, his gaze piercing through Dreykov like a blade. “I really wouldn’t mind.”
For a moment, there was complete silence and The Asset registered what he just did. The expression on Dreykov’s face didn’t falter, but the hands behind his back tightened ever so slightly. His gaze turned to steel, and for a moment, a small part of The Winter’s Soldier was worried Dreykov might hit him. He could take it. It probably wouldn’t hurt that much. He’s been shocked, stabbed, shot, waterboarded, and learned quickly people can do far worst things than hurt you physically. It didn’t stop that irrational fear though.
But then he let out a long, exaggerated sigh. “Fine.” Dreykov said, signaling to scientists to with a wave of his hand. “Release him.”
The Asset blinked, caught off guard by the sudden shift. The scientist hesitated but obeyed nonetheless. The restraints hissed as they unlocked, the weight lifting from The Winter Soldier’s wrists and arms. He didn’t move immediately, warily looking at the restraints come unloose like a caveman who discovered fire. With equal fascination and fear.
“I’ll shut my mouth. I’ll stop protecting you and I’ll let you go,” Dreykov continued, his voice filled with mock benevolence. “Is that good enough for you? Would that be good for you?”
Before the soldier could respond, Dreykov’s hand shot out, gripping The Asset’s chin with cruel precision, forcing him to meet his gaze. The Winter Soldier’s fists clenched, the knuckles of his human arm whitening, but he didn’t move. Couldn’t move.
"I’ll personally deliver you to your precious Captain America." Dreykov glare was dark and cutting as he sneered. "Do you honestly believe he cares for you? The courts, the government—they would tear you to shreds.“
The Asset barely flinched, but the Russian general could see that flicker of fear in his eyes at that possibility. His jaw clenching, and both firsts that trembled so subtly.
He released The Winter Soldier’s chin with a shove, his movements growing more aggressive as he took a step back and spread his arms in mock generosity. "Would that please you, soldier? Because anything The Winter Soldier wants." He offered a mock bow, his tone dripping with disdain and sarcasm.
The soldier’s head began to spin, each word sinking deeper and deeper. They were letting him leave. Dreykov was nowhere near the door, he could just walk out. Without his restraints, he could tear this entire building apart if he wanted. Burn it all to hell, never look back.
But what if — what if they were right? If he left, what then? Who does he have to turn to? Was he just a weapon — an extension of Hydra, incapable of surviving without them? It wasn’t an order he was given, it was a choice. An open door, unarmed guards and a promise of freedom. And that scared The Asset more than anything.
The scientists and the guards voices joined, adding their own comments, agreeing with each other.
“He wouldn’t last a day out there. Does he even know how to function without orders?”
“Who would take you in? The Avengers? They’d see you as a monster, nothing more.”
“No one will love you like we have. No one will put up with your mistakes like we have. You’re a lot of work, you know.”
“You’re clumsy and impulsive. You can’t even get through a mission without guidance. Out there, on your own? You’d never survive.”
“We gave you purposely and stability? Who else would do that? Who else even wants to?”
They’re right. As much as he hated to say, they were right. Who else could care about him? Who else would? He was too much work, he couldn’t even do the simplest task of killing two Avengers. What was he, if not The Winter Soldier? The Asset? At least his work is appreciated here, at least he gets a “well done, soldier.” when someone’s blood is on his hands? Shouldn’t that be enough? Everything grew louder, like an unrelenting storm.
“You’re nothing without us.”
“He’s weak and dependent.”
“You’ll never be anything more than a soldier.”
“All you know is how to destroy.”
“I give him three days. Tops.”
Dreykov leaned over into his space, hands resting on the armrests of the chair. His eyes bore into him behind those glasses, as he said “You don’t have a place in the world. Even if you ever did, you’d never be able to go back.”
The weight of their voices pressed down on him, each word cutting deeper, each accusation twisting like a knife. The Asset’s breaths quickened, his chest heaving as the walls seemed to close in around him. Tears brimmed in his eyes, his throat seemed to close up as everything seemed louder and louder.
No one could care. No one would care.
The faces of his targets flashed before his eyes—so many lives, so much blood on his hands. And then, one face. Blue eyes, soft and full of something he couldn’t name. Bucky. That’s what the man had called him. Was that who he used to be? Was that even real? What if there was nothing for him out there? What if this was all he was?
He shook his head violently, trying to drown out the noise, the memories, the doubts. “STOP!” he screamed, his voice raw, breaking. His head dropped, his shoulders shaking. "Just — just wipe me already.”
The room fell silent for a moment, the echo of his plea hanging in the air. Dreykov’s smile returned, faint and triumphant. He signaled to the scientists, who hurried to restrain Bucky again.
As the chair’s restraints locked into place once more — two on his human arm, one of the bionic one, the familiar hiss of machinery filled the room. The Winter Soldier slumped, his energy drained, his spirit crushed. He opened his mouth to receive the mouth guard, the familiar taste of rubber and plastic sickeningly seemed comforting.
Maybe this time, he thought, they’d erase everything. Maybe this time, he wouldn’t remember. Maybe this time, he’d finally be the Winter Soldier they wanted.
“You’ll understand this very soon.” Dreykov said, and the pain started, the screams were ripped out of his throat before he could stop them but it felt familiar. It had to be better, compared to whatever could happen out there. It’s too late to go back, he knows that. So why even bother?
And mercifully, when it felt like he wasn’t being eaten by electricity anymore — it all went to black.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was listening to “Good For You” in the Dear Evan Hansan musical while I wrote this. I may be too sad, but hey, I love any opportunity to write manipulation and project on a character. Anyways, if you want more of this content, just lemme know!

Yandere Mobster
Chicago - 1931 The Height of Prohibition The mafia is earning top dollar smuggling alcohol into the country. And one mobster has his eye on you.
Tumblr media
Yandere! Mobster who's a made man, who drives a nice car even after the stock market crash forced most people to sell theirs.
Yandere! Mobster who wears a tailored suit and fedora, his black hair swept back. Who everyone in the neighbourhood says is a good guy, a decent man, even if he does work for the don.
Yandere! Mobster who pulls up next to you when you're walking home from work. It's late and clouds are scudding across the moon.
Yandere! Mobster who leans out his window and offers to drive you home. Who says these streets ain't safe for a pretty girl like you.
Yandere! Mobster who's known you since you were children. Two kids from immigrant families, playing together in the tiny bits of open space your apartments could offer.
Yandere! Mobster who keeps looking at you and marvelling at how grown up you both are. Where did that scruffy little girl go? And when did you get so pretty?
Yandere! Mobster who spends the whole drive chatting about old times. Who makes you laugh at his stories about running from the landlady and stashing his school books behind the canteen.
Yandere! Mobster who leans over you and pulls the door closed when you move to get out. Who looks you dead in the eye when he asks if you're having trouble with your rent.
The mob is a big part of the community afterall, and he knows just about everything.
You drop your eyes, embarrassed. Your brothers have their own families to care for, you say. Things are hard but if you pick up a few more shifts at the factory, you might manage it.
Yandere! Mobster who sighs and digs in his suit pocket. Who pulls out a stack of cash and counts it right in front you.
Yandere! Mobster who offers you enough for two months of rent. A small fortune to someone from your part of town.
You shake your head, horrified. You can't afford the interest, you tell him.
Yandere! Mobster who scoffs and asks if you really think he's offering a loan when you've known each other for years? It's a gift, to keep your mama out of the cold.
Yandere! Mobster who smiles at the hesitant way you accept the money. You're too proud to ever ask for help and he knows it. Just like when you were kids.
Yandere! Mobster who gets out and opens the car door for you like a gentleman, even if he knows the whole apartment building will talk about it.
Yandere! Mobster who grins that charming, good guy smile even though he has a gun holstered under his jacket and a shovel in the trunk. Who says he'll consider things even if you cook him dinner some time.
Yandere! Mobster who visits your ma while you're at work. Who tells her he's interested in you and wants her blessing. And your ma is all too happy to give it. He's such a good boy, she says, and she knows he's always had a soft spot for you.
Yandere! Mobster who insists on driving you home after work everyday. Even when you blush and complain that he's going out of his way.
Yandere! Mobster who gratefully accepts the gifts you offer him. Fresh baked bread, jars of your mama's famous marinara sauce, homecooked meals... Who eats so much better when you take care of him.
Yandere! Mobster who eventually runs out of luck and straight into trouble. What was supposed to be a routine whiskey delivery turns out to be a sting operation.
Yandere! Mobster who sees his partner get a hole blasted right through him and almost die. Who fires at the cops until his tommy gun is red hot and smoking. Who ends up with so much blood on his hands he ain't sure it will ever wash off.
Yandere! Mobster who finds himself at your door afterwards, his coat drenched by the rain.
Yandere! Mobster who doesn't resist when you pull him inside and strip away his jacket and shirt. There's blood on your hands after you hang up his coat, and you pretend not to notice it.
Yandere! Mobster who can see your curiosity fighting against your sense. In the end, you don't ask him a single question about it.
Yandere! Mobster who sinks gratefully into the bath you draw for him. And who falls asleep the second his head hits your pillow.
Yandere! Mobster who's gone by morning. His bloodstained coat gone with him.
Yandere! Mobster who asks around about you and finds out you've got a whole score of fellas vying for your hand.
Yandere! Mobster who let's it be known that he's interested in you and watches with satisfaction as all your potential suitors drop away.
Except for one. He just spits and says you're a grown woman and can choose your own man.
Yandere! Mobster and his buddies pick the guy up after a late shift. Tie his hands behind his back and gag him before they toss him in the trunk.
Yandere! Mobster who beats the shit out of him. Who breaks his nose with a knuckle duster and his ribs with a crowbar. Who grabs his hair with bloody fingers and hisses that you're off limits.
Yandere! Mobster whose buddies lounge against the warehouse wall and smoke, never bothering to question what a simple dock worker did to deserve such a brutal beating.
Yandere! Mobster who sniffs your hair when you hug him. He's like a dog - always making sure other men haven't left their scent on you.
Yandere! Mobster who let's his hands wander when he takes you out dancing. Who kisses you goodnight and let's his lips brush your neck before he pulls away.
Yandere! Mobster who goes home and jerks off to you, his teeth bared and head bent forward. Who snarls at you to take it, take it like a good girl.
Yandere! Mobster who tells his don about you - how pretty you are, how clever, how discreet. The man leans back in his chair and pulls on his cigar.
She'll never make a liar of you. You should marry her just for that.
Yandere! Mobster who shows up at your door a week later, an engagement ring burning a hole in his pocket.
Be my girl. And I promise I'll take care of you.
You think about the night he came to you covered in blood and not speaking a word. You think about your friend from the docks and the way he dissappeared. You think about the way people look away when you're with him in public.
You say yes, as though you have a choice.

Girl, Interrupted
Tumblr media
summary: Eddie crashes by your home when you least expected, but everything happens for a reason, right?
wc: 1.8k
cw: PURE SMUT (MDNI 18+), basically no plot, friends to fwb?, oral (f receiving), Eddie is a tease, fairly bold reader lol, fingering, talk of p in v sex, hair pulling, orgasms idk let me know what else
a/n: my bestie bought me slutty pajamas for my birthday, and since I'm a hypothetical whore, this has been on my mind nonstop. Finally took a break from my spn series to write this down. This is the filthiest thing I've written to date but definitely short and sweet
Eddie’s jaw fell slack as the door opened before him. He knew he shouldn’t have shown up to your place uninvited. Sure, you were his best friend, and of course, you had said he could come over whenever, but that never truly meant unannounced. He was already kicking himself for showing up as late as he did when you opened the door.
Your oh so short pajama shorts were the first thing that caught his eye, how your thighs spilled out beneath them, the cotton begging for relief. His eyes trailed higher to your tank top one size too small. The hem rested just above your midriff, the outline of your hips more prominent than he had ever seen. Your face was flush, pinks and reds lining your cheeks. He fought the urge to pinch himself, scared that he was dreaming, scared that he’d wake up to the absence of you and very real feelings emerging.
“Eddie? What are you doing here?” you asked, your arms crossing over your chest. “I thought you had a date.”
Date, what date? Eddie’s mind was going numb. His brain was flatlining at the mere sight of you, more exposed to him than he’d ever seen you. Fight or flight kicked in, debating on whether to say something or just turn around and leave. He was almost sure he was not supposed to see you in this state.
“I—uhh—it didn’t go well, so I cut it short. But I know you love the place, so I figured I’d bring over the leftovers.”
“Oh, sweet. Thank you.”
Eddie hesitated, scared to ask, but his interest piqued. “Is someone—you’re alone right now, right?”
Your eyebrows pinched together. You exhaled a dry laugh. “Please, I’m always alone. Come in. Tell me about your date.”
You ushered Eddie inside and settled into your couch. You pulled a blanket over you, and Eddie released a sigh. He couldn’t believe the hold you suddenly had on him. It was like he was in high school again, ready to combust at the sight of a shoulder. At least with your legs covered, he was less inclined to think about spreading them.
“Was it really that bad?” you asked, drawing Eddie from his thoughts.
“She was just so boring,” Eddie complained. “Like, there’s nothing wrong with her, but it was like we were from different planets! She didn’t know Metallica! How am I supposed to bond with someone when there’s nothing to relate to?”
“Did you think of showing her?”
“Showing her what?”
“Metallica!” you laughed. “Wouldn’t that be kind of romantic, you know, to introduce that to her? Maybe tell her you’re in a band? It’d be like showing her a whole new world. And maybe you’d get a groupie out of it.”
Eddie swatted at the air. “It’s not worth it. We were both bored. And it was clear she wasn’t looking to rock with a guitarist.”
“Oh, I highly doubt that.”
“You didn’t meet her. She’s pristine, a Chrissy Cunningham type. Meant to be with a lawyer or some shit.”
You leaned in closer to Eddie, your blanket sliding down your thighs. “Those are the girls who fantasize about guys like you the most. Those girls on the straight and narrow, the ones who seemed destined to be sweet stay-at-home moms or perfect career women, those are the ones who dream of just one night doing something they never thought they could. Something so wild that when they’re taking their kids to soccer practice, or their ‘perfect husband’ is asleep on the recliner while they're doing the dishes, they can think back to that wild night when they fucked a rockstar.”
Eddie’s lip trembled as chills coursed through his body. You leaned back against the couch and shrugged like what you said was nothing. You had to be on something, he decided. Never had you been so frank when the topic of sex came up. Your face was still flushed with color, and you couldn’t seem to find a comfortable position on the couch, shifting yourself from one side to the other to no specific rhythm. Heat radiated off of you, though you weren’t known to be the furnace between the two of you. Something struck Eddie as so foreign but so familiar as he took you in.
“Would you fuck a rockstar?” Eddie found himself saying.
Heat rose to your cheeks. “Do I seem like one of those straight-and-narrow girls to you?”
“That’s not what I asked,” Eddie said, a newfound confidence overtaking him. “You came up with that way too fast to act like you don’t think of it, too. So, would you fuck a rockstar?”
You bit your lip and shifted in your seat. You huffed into the couch. “Wouldn’t anyone?”
“Why so shy all of a sudden?” Eddie asked, egging you on. “You’ve been squirming since I got here, sweetheart. Is something on your mind?”
Your eyes trailed from his eyes to his lips, then back to his eyes. “Tonight is not the night to ask me that.”
“Why is that?” Eddie chuckled. “Were you in the middle of something? Was something left unfinished when I so rudely interrupted? And now all you can think about is the ache between your legs?”
You shuddered at his words. “Eddie,” you said, your voice shaking.
“I could help you.” Eddie leaned closer, his words almost a whisper. “Because I may not be a rockstar, but I’m sure I could give you the night of your life.”
Your breath hitched in your throat. “Don’t tease me. It’s not funny.”
“No one’s laughing.” Eddie pulled the blanket back, his hands resting on your thighs. Your legs slightly opened on instinct. “What kind of friend would I be, huh? If I didn’t at least offer?”
Eddie didn’t know where this bravado came from, but he didn’t care. All he knew was the longer you looked at him like that, the harder he got.
You grabbed him by his shirt and forced his lips on yours. Nothing soft or sweet came from your lips. You were needy and desperate, clinging to him like he was the air in your lungs.
The urgency shocked Eddie, but he quickly found your rhythm. He smirked against your lips as he pulled his jacket off. His hands snaked from your thighs to your hips to your ass, lifting you onto his lap. You groaned into his mouth as he rolled you against him.
He was sure he was dreaming now. Only there did he ever picture you above him, grinding your hips into his. Only there did he imagine you moaning from his touch. But never were his dreams this vivid, this real, this fucking good.
He pulled you from him and pushed you back onto the couch. You whined at the loss of contact. He’d never seen your eyes so dark, so lustful, so hungry for him.
He slid down to the floor onto his knees and pulled you to the edge of the couch. “You still want my help, sweetheart?”
You nodded emphatically.
“I need to hear you, baby. Say it.”
“Please help me, Eddie. I need you. Please.”
“Atta girl.”
You lifted yourself up as Eddie pulled your shorts down your legs. Eddie’s cock jumped at the sight of you. He bit his lip to maintain what little composure he had left.
“Aww, your poor little pussy’s just as needy as you, isn’t she?” He spread your knees apart, the cold metal on his fingers sending chills up your spine. The throbbing between your legs only intensified, a small whimper escaping your lips.
Eddie couldn’t wait any longer. There was no time for teasing, no time to explore. You needed him, and he was going to deliver.
He dove into your aching pussy like a man starved. You jumped at the contact, your hands flying to his hair. His tongue worked overtime, kitten-licking your clit before diving in for more.
“You taste so good, sweetheart,” he said, smiling against you. You moaned in response, grabbing a fistful of his hair and pulling him closer.
Your sounds turned him on even more, searching for his own release as he rubbed himself against the couch. His mind was in a daze, in utter disbelief that anyone could look so perfect for him with your legs spread and your back arched. Your chest rose and fell to the rhythm of his tongue, and your lips formed a perfect ‘o’. Oh, how Eddie wanted to feel your lips around his cock. How you’d sink down on him, your perfect innocent mouth being completely sinful just for him.
He placed a finger at your entrance and pumped in and out, his thumb now circling your clit. Your head fell back. “God, yes, Eddie. Just like that.”
“I need you to do something for me, baby,” Eddie said as he added a second finger.
“Wha—what’s that?” you asked, breathless.
“I need you to tell me what you think of when you get off. Tell me what you were thinking of before I showed up at your door.”
“I—I oh god,” you shouted as Eddie’s lips found your clit. “I—I thought about you on your fucking date.”
“Oh fuck,” Eddie groaned into your pussy, the vibrations shooting up your spine.
“I pictured you fucking her from behind, her skirt hiked up to her hips, her panties to the side as you fucked her in front of the bathroom mirror.”
“Fucking C—Christ,” Eddie stuttered, his hips rutting into the couch faster. “Keep going.”
“Then it was me you were fucking. You grabbed me by the hair, so I could watch what you were doing to me,” you said, your voice shaking with every word. “Eddie, please. I’m close. Please.”
“Come on, baby. You can do it. Tell me what I was doing to you.” He was past dreaming at this point. He was sure this was heaven. Hearing your words had him reeling. He didn’t want to stop, didn't know how to stop. He just knew he needed to see you come.
Your lip trembled. “Your hands were all over me, playing with my tits, your lips on my neck, and—and your big cock pounding into me over and oh-ver and—and Fuck! Eddie, don’t stop! Please, please, please!”
Your orgasm crashed down on you, expletives and Eddie’s name on your lips. Eddie continued to pump his fingers in and out of you like a madman as he lapped up your cum.
“Oh god, oh fuck!” he moaned against you.
You pushed his head off of you and caught your breath. Eddie took a breath, too, leaning back against his heels. You pulled him back up to you and kissed him, tasting yourself on your lips.
“That… was so hot,” Eddie said, releasing a breath.
“Can it be my turn to help you?” you asked, looking up at him through your eyelashes.
Eddie’s cheeks rouged slightly, his eyes trailing to the growing wet spot on his jeans. “I had a turn already,” he said, guilt painting his words. He leaned in toward you, a devilish smirk joining his features. “But I’m not done with you. Not yet.”
