told my parents abt the new one piece live action thats coming out (bc i introduce anime to my kdrama mom w live action anime adaptations) and we talked abt how its gonna go

obviously im gonna be biased bc one piece is my favorite of all time (+ i dont have high standards considering ive watched a lot of live action anime), but the trailer looked really promising, and even made me smile and laugh so much! especially during snippets where the crews dynamic was shown (much love to iñaki he makes a perfect luffy), so im really looking forward to the release :D

we mainly talked abt how the adaptations story is gonna go, since yknow this is a BIG big series and its impossible to actually recreate the WHOLE thing, so ofc theres likely to be lots of changes.

SO my take is that they stop at the end of east blue arc/the formation of the og 5 crew and conclude it there, nice and short. east blue/baroque works usually seem to be the make it or break it for ppl getting into one piece so theres that too.

BUT!! lets say that the live action was a huge success, in the same way alice in borderlands s1 was, and they decide to continue adapting it. i dont think its likely and even if they do its gonna be a lot of work considering how meticulous the production crew is with detail (eg building the actual sets like going merry and baratie), but lets say they do it; i actually think it could work up until the end of pretimeskip arc!

think about after sabaody arc they got seperated and originally planned to find each other asap, but then luffy announced they meet in two years after the paramount war arc, and then we get a nice monolgue thingy as the two years pass and we see post time skip luffy kinda thing ready to start the grand line journey, i think itd thatd be a nice way to end the live action!

but ofc, i know how much work all of pre time skip would be, so i know its not very realistic, but if they do decide on producing more seasons i dont really see any other point in between that would be a good stopping point, like its either you stay w the og 5 crew or get all of pretimeskip ot9. i know we have the nonhuman charas to worry about and powers and whatnot, but its not like netflix has to adapt the series frame by frame; on the contrary, they really shouldnt bc the comedic novelty just wont work onto live action, and u can see that they consider this by not giving sanji and usopp the curly eyebrows and long nose (buggy looks fine in the trailer imo, his scene actually gave off video game trailer vibes which i liked a lot). i really think it can work if they just toned down the series to make it more down to earth (this could mean cutting down some of luffys moves like gum gum balloon in place of more practical fighting moves, which is most likely going to be the case for zoro and sanji i think) and i guess simplifying the story in general?

anyways, those are just some headcanons of mine AHAHDVSKBS very excited for the one piece live action!!

I tend to exist my life from sewing project to sewing project, so my mind immediately gravitates to that. while there are definitely sections on anne that fall short of my expectations, in general i really am proud of how its come out! the corset, especially. ive been sewing a long time and this is really the first time i feel like ive done something im PROUD to put my name towards. i hope i can feel that way about many more things in the future.

i think id also say im proud of the snippets ive been writing recently too. i dont know if theyre interesting to anyone else (the formatting is certainly. weird. i hesitate to associate them with fics at all) but ive been letting myself just. plot the ideas as they come. even if that means scribbling them down on the first thing i can grab at work. its felt good.

so ive been trying to actively work through the fabric i have (see: dress poll!) so ive been making plans for things i own! its been a lot of fun revisiting things i bought like, 5 years ago and seeing how my tastes have changed. ive been sketching up some new plans for things, though i must admit im determined to make myself finish up some ufos and 'practical' pieces first (looking at you, waistcoats) im also excited to get to some fun things! i have literally. 20+ projects to pick from, including a dozen or so cosplay ideas! the future is infinite

Specifically, the idea ive been excited for recently came up as a side note of dress polls. i have this green cotton duvet cover i acquired for mock up fabric, but that ive earmarked for a dress instead first (i think its a king duvet so ill probably still have half left when im done ngl) i saw this gorgeous applique dress, and it sparked my imagination!! i wouldnt want to do something exactly like that i dont think, but i have a metric ton of black cord, and i was thinking about couching it (sewing over it with a zigzag, basically) down onto the dress in an ivy (?) pattern to create the effect! i might need to twist up a couple strands of cord to get a nice thickness but i think itd be really fun. i havent done couching since i was in college, but i think its the perfect technique for something organic like ivy. this is very much a future project, but its finally a solid idea for this particular fabric! something new!

Im starting out hello my old heart by firebirdsuite, a smaller fic at only 15k - i think i might try iwbta as either my second or project, not sure if jumping from 15k to 50k would be too abrupt of a difficulty spike! (Also thank u for the pdf u used!! :0 what size signatures did u print it at?)

ive done two draft prints to get used to it! my first print i tried in groups of 8 sheets, which left me with two thick signatures and one with only like 2 sheets - tried again with signatures of 4 sheets / 16 pages and thought itd be the final draft until i realized i needed to leave a page at the front n back, bc otherwise id glue the cover to the title page!! Im waiting to print the final draft until i have commissioned art to fill out some space and bring the fully formatted text to a nice even 80 pages :)

binding my drafts into text blocks was really gratifying!! It truly does feel like im making a book prototype >:3 i used modpodge for the glue since joann’s didnt have any pva glue, amd it seems to work well enough, but just to be safe i think im gonna buy some actual pva glue online once i use all the modpodge

i think tonight im gonna try making a cover for one of my practice text blocks! This is all going a lot better than i thought it would, I’ve already learned so much and im still so excited to keep going!! :) thank u for the tips!!!

it looks great!!! i'm glad that the tips helped (and i have definitely also printed the same fic like. 2-3 times because i realized i made a mistake and had to reprint aklgdajg so i feel that). i usually do 6-sheet signatures for letter-sized books, which is what the iwbta document is formatted for! if you want to adjust that, you'll want to go into the word doc version and change that since i believe that PDF is already imposed for signature printing.

and there shouldn't be too much of a difficulty jump from 15k to 50k words! once you've put together a book, the only real difference between wordcounts is more sewing lol (unless you get into mini books 👀). if you get really big, you'll want to start thinking about rounding and/or backing, but that won't be necessary for a 50k story.

(also, i saw your pics in the renegade discord, and it looks so good completed! i'm excited to see what the final draft looks like 💜)

3. Is there anything new you want to try with your writing? A new genre? Style of writing? one day ill write an epistolary fic and maybe that day will be in 2022. mm.......i think a nonlinear narrative is a SUPER interesting format/style of writing, not sure if i'm like...skilled enough to pull that off but it might be nice to try. yeah i don't know! i'm always sort of trying to do something new in a way, so. who knows.

6. Is there a trope you’re going to leave behind? oh man, i don't know. i don't want to say i'll leave fake dating behind but i might be reaching a point of struggling to write it because there's only so many ways i feel like i can write it before it's no longer convincing. plus fake dating fics are inherently longer which means more of a commitment. also i think i can pretty safely say i'm not gonna write another amnesia fic lmao i think one is enough

Tldr john fucking Somehow is able t oget into contact with a certain curious scientist from another reality who’d just love to study the Soy Sauce, most certainly not for her own nefarious purposes

John and Dave meet up with the scientist, her name is Boss, and her lab assistant, Toxic, and after a bit of a preliminary Vibe Check where john determines her trustworthy (which Dave doesnt agree with,) the two agree to be taken to the world UVP is set in. from there they stay in Boss’s lab (big old fucking abandoned military lab). John and Toxic are fast friends due to mutual love-of-chaos. John n Dave get to fuckin, camp out on an air mattress.

The day after they arrive, the two get split up, not exactly intentionally; big plot points of UVP are liek. Fueled by Boss sending Toxic to go fetch her “research materials,” which are usually important artifacts

Fuckin side note i guess i have to explain my dumb bullshit: Boss’s, uh, field of expertise so to speak is actually fckin, basically the scientific study of magic and superpowers n shit like that. This shit’s all real in that world. Toxic’s got fuckin superpowers, so do 4 other main characters, whatever. It’s got a bit to do with spirituality, iss Boss’s hypothesis. So she has Toxic fetch important artifacts that might have “energies” to them. The thing is actually way more fuckin complictated than that, this is just Boss’s initial hypothesis.

Motherfucking anyways. So Boss gives Toxic a job to do, and John get excited about how Cool that sounds, and ends up going with Toxic, leaving Boss and Dave alone. Neither is thrilled about this. But Dave and Boss get to have a bit of conversation (while Toxic and John are off bonding and having a good time) and come to a… mutual grudging understanding of some kind. They still dont like each other though lmao

Theres gonna be deeper shit going on but we havent sorted it out yet/tbh havent like Written For It in a while but i still like thinking about it a lot lol

Quick briefing on my fuckinuh. Original character story, this one doesnt have a name (yet? Idk lol my work never actually goes anywhere sso who gives a shit). It centers around two grim reapers, Red (26, bi woman) and Blue (22, aroace agender asshole). In this reality or whatever, grim reapers function kind of like low-level office workers. They get told who’s going to die + when by some middle-management types, and upper management only involve themselves when punishment needs to be doled out. These Higher-Ups can be seen as analogous to Korrok; they’re decidedly not human, never were, and fucking terrifyingly powerful. Additionally, grim reapers are sort of .. designed to be “background noise” people. In reality theyre supernatural beings and, uh, look Real Fuckin Weird (the whole deal has a neon aesthetic im terrible at drawing uwu) but most humans just perceive them like extras in a movie. A body’s there but the camera’s not focused on it.

To the narrative: the shit starts when Red n Blue get relocated to Undisclosed. Relocation is something that just happens every now and then to reapers; they usually work in teams, but they get split up into different cities to avoid any strong bonds forming (a counter-union strategy from the Higher-Ups).

Red, Blue, John and Dave end up running into each other for the first time in a McDonalds where John n Dave are getting some 4am “hey, we just survived another horrific monster fight” celebration burgers. John and Dave are the only two people who can see how… strange Red and Blue are. Nobody else notices.

John unintentionally pisses Blue off, leading to Blue whacking him upside the head with a dildo bat. They all four get kicked out of McDonald’s. Dave and Red both are less than thrilled

Blue and John end up resolving their differences, somehow. Red and Dave briefly bond over their dumbass best friends being, well, dumbasses. They all part ways amicably.

somehow-or-other (idk yet) they end up running into each other a few more times, and eventually john invites them over to his place, and the four (plus Amy now!) get to know each other a little better

while there, Blue gets a text about some guy who's gonna die and John offers to drive them to where that's gonna go down. they take him up on the offer and get to have a bit of one-on-one conversation

after that ordeal though Blue has had Enough of people and bails, leaving John to head home alone

theres a sort of mirror-development going on with the five of em. Red, John, and Amy would all like everyone to get along, though theyre a bit tentative about it (John moreso than the other two, actually, jsut cause. well Red n Blue could still be Sauce Monsters). Dave and Blue on the other hand do Not like people enough for this shit, and Dave's not unconvinced theyre Sauce Monsters. he will not trust them until proven he should

the story's kinda nebulous but i got an idea for some Shit going down that involves both Sauce Monsters and also the Higher-Ups to have some fuckin absolute chaos go down.

Ive actually workshopped this one both with ben (catgirlrepublic) and ghost (ghost-wannabe) lmao its a fun lil concept ive had from the get-go cause i mean. What’s an internet tran gonna do other than hit all their favourite media with the Everyone’s Trans beam

Dave transitioned post-high school and faked his death for it. People go missing in Undisclosed all the damned time, after all. He moved to the next city over, transitioned fully, then came back as a completely new man. Yes i know this doesnt exactly fit with the “everyone knows David from high school” thing alright, hush.

Anytime anyone brings up John’s old best friend (pre-transition Dave) John throws an entire fit like an overdramatic grieving widow. Full-on sobbing “why would you bring her up?! I miss her so much—” to the point that people just stop bringing up because Jesus Christ That Sure Is Uncomfortable KJHGFDS.

This is a scheme he and Dave came up with prior to Dave leaving, though Dave hadnt exactly anticipated John putting on this much of a performance about it— but it’s stopped Dave from ever having tto hear his deadname again, so hey.

Amy transitioned sometime in middle school/early high school. Her family was super supportive and loved her a ton and most people just know her as Amy. she was super shy her whole life really so. Yeah. people just dont think to bring it up lmao also i Feel Like big jim would absolutely wallop anyone who gave her trouble of any kind

John’s nonbinary (genderfluid specifically) and not exactly Interested in transitioning ? like hes fine with how he is. mostly.

he came out to Dave in high school but hes not out to anyone else exactly. Maybe his bandmates. Probably any other trans person in Undisclosed knows, too, cause theyre safe to tell lmao. Johns mostly a “he/him out of convenience” kinda nb who’s cool with any pronouns but does prefer they/them most. Dave and Amy use they/them when the trio are alone

Also this is a totally self-indulgent caveat that i think would be great, Dave’s actually agender but because he's transmasc and transitioned when he thought there were really only two options, and being Boy at least felt less weird than being Girl, he just kind of assumed he was a dude. It’s only through a lot of (like fucking years and years hes probably in his 30s/40s when he puts 2 and 2 together on this one) talks about gender with John that he realizes he actually feels like No Gender. Masc aesthetic with none gender.

Also Amy came out to Dave about being trans early on in them seeing each other and his response was to get very nervous before blurting out “me too” and then just being too embarrassed to talk about it for the rest of the day. Dave also is a loner but unlike John hes simply so fucking awkward and bad with people. He doesnt feel like he belongs anywhere so he just travels

He’s the stereotypical Lone Ranger tbh. He wanders from town to town, solving their problems, though hed deny its out of any moral obligation (it kinda is, a little bit, tbh. He does like feeling useful). He shows up, fixes things, leaves. He's kind of a legend but most people think he's hiding something dark. other people jsut know him as that guy who farted real loud in the middle of the saloon and promptly skipped town out of sheer embarrassment. you know how it goes with Dave

He ends up involved with the Soy Sauce when a snake (not Actually a snake,) bites him. The snake’s more like the wig-monsters, really. Anyway, it injects him with the soy sauce, he fucking trips balls in the middle of the desert, he can see monsters now

He runs into John and shit goes tits-up, as said, but they become traveling buddies after that. he'd never say so, but he's glad for the company, actually. it's nice. hes not used to companionship but he feels a strange kind of easiness hanging out with John....

not sure how the Monster Dave concept will like fit in to this reality but like. trust me i want it in here. I'll Figure It Out.

Amy’s been living in a town John and Dave end up passing through and she is very curious about these two new Handsome Strangers who claim to fight monsters and just kinda. Persistently tags along til they let her join for real

(Dave still gives her a spiel about how Difficult it is, but really, her fantasies were pretty grounded-in-reality already. i jsut think thats how she is, yknow?)

John too is very much "the more the merrier!" and hes actually glad to have another person along he loves people lmao

Hes also a wanderer, but he ended up at the same town john and dave met in, at that same time, and starts following them after, already aware of who/what they are.

He keeps his face covered 24/7. actually he covers a Majority of his self for reasons. kinda want him to be a slightly more horrifying Worm Entity rather than human idk,

Heyooo. Guess who’s back... kinda. ^^;;; Not my favorite chapter by a long shot, but the idea got stuck in my head just enough to type out.

I hope tumblr doesn’t mess up the double-space formatting between texting and Liam’s thoughts, but I think it’s still distinguishable regardless.

A little bit of context for those who don’t play much DnD: Hexblade warlocks get their power from a patron who gives them a magic weapon. Fighters get a fighting style that allows them perks based on what kind of weapon they use. Sorcerers have inborn magic, and wild magic can make weird things happen sometimes.

Also, I know that it’s spelled y’all, but for some reason my fingers insist that it’s ya’ll??? Idek.

           Liam sighed happily as he stretched himself out in his enclosure. His skull-cap had been removed for the night. In theory he could, and probably should, leave it on, but the tacky substance that held it in place irritated his bones and itched horribly. Plus it just felt like something was sitting on his head all the time. It’s not like he had any nerves in the fake-bone, so it just felt like a dead weight. Bandage and cloth wraps were far more comfortable and did just as good of a job at keeping things out of his head. But in the safety of his own habitat with daylight hours away? There wouldn’t be much harm in letting it air out a little. Air swirled into his skull as he moved, tickling the inside, as he slid on top of the silky, plush pillows and under a warmed up heating blanket.

           Normally he wouldn’t put on heat for the night unless it was freezing, it was easier to sleep in cool air, at least for him, but his eyes kept darting to his phone on its charger. Normally he’d have put it away by now, but they’d gotten Alex’s number and added her to the DnD group chat, Snarls and Snakes, so everyone with a phone was still chatting (save for Nikolai).

           Pointy Combatant (Oozy): i demand you guys pronounce it G’nome. yeah i wear the pointy hat. m a G’arden G’nome

           Devising Machinations (Keith): Your character still needs a NAME.

Nevermind that deer and rabbits pound at the ground like they were trying to break the earth, no one cared about that. They only cared that he was down an eye. Fuck them.

             Devising Machinations (Keith): Everyone happy with their characters before I get started with anything in depth? I’ve talked to Hux, dude’s fine ^u^

           Proxy Child (Alex): I think so??? I’m still trying to figure out whether or not to main in Hexblade or just go straight fighter. I mean, getting the fighting style is well worth dipping into it regardless, but, like, would my character *want* help from another fae, or is this something she felt she needed to do herself? Like, making pacts and stuff would make her seem more fey-y, but does she WANT to be fey-y? Or would I rather have her intentionally shun all of it?

           Devising Machinations (Keith): Not a call I can make, but can’t wait to hear about it.

           Problematic Changeling (Liam): I’ve had similar questions… I do think I’m going sorcerer one way or another, wild magic of course, since they’re inherently magic, but would they have been trying to learn other things as well?

             There was something he couldn’t quite put his finger on with their characters. They seemed so juicy already, enough angst and plot potential for them both to sink their teeth into, but something felt slightly off…

             Proxy Child (Alex): I guess it comes down to whether my character (who I will give a name to, eventually) would want the “crutch” of a more powerful fae helping them out, or if they’d rather prove their own worth.

           Liam’s fingers were typing before he’d even thought it through.

             Problematic Changeling (Liam): Prove your own worth. You don’t need someone hand-holding you through life.

           Pledged Companion (Trousle): I DON’T SEE WHY NOT. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH NEEDING ASSISTANCE, BOTH IN GENERAL AND *ESPECIALLY* WHEN EVERYONE AROUND YOU CAN DO THINGS YOU CANNOT.

             The last time they had was Trousle. Being the only bitty and the youngest of the group, they hadn’t been friends with him nearly as long as with each other, but he was still quite fun to have around. He was starting to grow on Liam, honestly. Liam had to respect his relentless optimism, at least to a degree. Albeit, Papython in general tended to be unwaveringly positive, but it seemed deeper than the surface-level sugar of some of his breed.

             Pointy Combatant (Oozy): sleep sounds good actually. Night

           Devising Machinations (Keith): Saaaame. Night everyone

           Problematic Changeling (Liam): Goodnight.

             Liam put the phone back and turned the heat off on the blanket, putting it over his head and settling in for the night. He was grateful that his wing tended to be pretty quiet; he never could sleep well with noise, lights, or too much movement, though the pillows muffled the vibrations in the ground nicely. No one was going to come anyways, not this late. Even if they did, he was a light enough sleeper to wake up and bite before the other even knew what hit them. He drifted to sleep alternating between contemplating his DnD character, and imagining hunting a deer.

hello icha!! i finally got around to finishing the stranger haha,, by which i mean i just watched it today. was veryyyy excited for it as i really like the poster design for this one. anyways. this event starting w/ the sort of portrait format or whatever / that narration is like. god. threw me right back to autumn troupe. I kind of love that the storytelling format itself is so distinct for autumn! the moment I realized it was omi I started getting teary… like oh man oh man… omi…. And the connection with him taking photos! ahh!! now that I think about it… omi kind of seems a bit like early version tsumugi, huh? also I keep forgetting this man is a college student lol. suspension of disbelief I suppose. onto the play i think like. mankai should invest in a fainting courch for tsuzuru. i also went to watch the play and 1) im betting yuki had a hell of a time costume design wise like the vines on the body? such fun costuming wise and 2) the ethical implications of whatever this play has,,, fun fun. tsuzuru was clearly having some kind of thoughts. i love zeros design and am always up for a3 characters crossdressing bc 1) i think its fun and 2) the costume design. i also dearly wish this whole thing was animated bc I feel like it’d be o fun to see taichi act as zero. or at least I hope this event gets full voiced one day... moving on to the scene where omi adds soy sauce to the paella I know it’s just like haha homare funny so lets five him a lil bit but like everyone in autumn troupe making their comments on the paella and like homare just jumping in. homare autumn troupe besties. just thinking. also the way they just r like. no no no omi it’s fine if u made a mistake!! it’s ok! we like it (you) anyways <3 it’s got it’s own special taste. something something omi’s perfectly pleasant as he is now but even if he weren’t on his a-game and was dealing with all of the biker gang stuff they would love him just as hard. another thing that got me was omi telling banri that he’ll give him something sweet so juza will stop grinding his teeth in his sleep… guys… guys you’ll give him cavities…. mb omi is a college student after all lol.

anyways when i saw the actual costumes. appreciative of them, i like the lil circuit-esque detailing on banri’s outfit, and that sakyo and taichi (nine and zero) both share that like collar detail? its very symbolic and probably also literal but its a nice way to sort of signify their relation to each other visually! also sakyo just looks nice. seeing him without glasses is so great. whoever thought up the like two mole detail for him was doing gods work.

something that confused me was ryo mistaking juza for nachi for a split second? like. does juza… look similar to nachi? or was it just that ryo only heard juzas voice and made that mistake. if it’s appearance wise too. kumon nachi confirmed. I’m joking lol bc I feel like I would’ve heard at least something abt it in one of the like small conversation comments, plus that doesnt seem like itd fit summer troupes style and kumon is for sure the wrong age… but still.

i really like how for this event, the roles for taichi and omi were kinda reversed. and taichis just so like. idk. smiley. rly lifts ur spirits. its kind of nice how this event contrasts to that cg where taichi is crying on omi. I also think like. idk. considering the story of the stranger. wolf gives zero a sense of purpose and life and I think that zero helps wolf lose his apathy. it’s about “the stranger” and the ending makes him like… not a stranger, right? because he’s got a companion. in the same way, taichi brings omi out of his emotional isolation. the picture taking! also the stickers coming back… thats such a good setup! the found family of it all!!

when he was trying to work out zeros character as soon as taichi mentioned a sharp speaking style I KNEW it was Yuki… yuki would never be as honest as zero is though lol… to me i imagine she’s got a sort of juza internal monologue feel? anyways. the taichi yuki dynamic intrigues me. havent yet decided how I feel abt it but when I do… yes. sorry that I make literally no sense. I think it’s very obvious that yuki is my fav chara kind of? I’m just. hmmm it makes me think! I’ve been monologuing to myself abt the yuki and juza dynamic lately which, to my a3 knowledge so far, doesn’t exist, but its ok bc I’ll make it exist! uhhh anyways this event was very good i liked the pacing. i think it didnt drag too hard and it really properly honed in on just omi and taichi, which was quite nice. they really did a lot for just an event!

time to listen to the event song,,, ok so. ah. i rly enjoyed just for myself it was very much to my taste so. out of curiousity i was like ok lemme look up the composer / producer AND IT WAS YUYOYUPPE....... that guy is like!!!! one of my FAV producers ever!!!!!! i know him from like. his vocaloid days and god leia is still one of my fav songs to this day...! this knowledge gives me so much joy omg!!! like wow!! wowwww!!! like i knew yuyoyuppe was out there doing other stuff (i know he worked on a lot of babymetal music which is cool) but like idk. to suddenly encounter it like this. heheh.... its so nice! made me soooo happy. going to relisten to leia now haha

WAIT ONE MORE THING. i was like "haha let me look at other songs i remember liking a lot" which. for me was rakuen oasis and don't cry. anyways. rakuen oasis is ALSO by yuyoyuppe???? oh my god!!! oh my god... sigh. feel like im in heaven.

Im glad you liked the costume and the play!!! yeah i love the designs and it is always a blast to see them this into it, and yeaaah Tsuzuru has thoughts huh. It'll get voiced sooner than later hopefully and there we'll see more in details :3c but also that's what made the seiyuu live so fun bc they perform the songs in play cosplay and replay a bit of the play everytime and it's *chief kiss*

aND DLKFJD yeah no Juza is supposed to look like Nachi physically, but mostly his face? like i think Nachi was had green hair? we see a sprite of him in a future story, and yeah, everything is in the eyebrows. so Kumon should be safe? Omi mentions he sees a lot of Nachi in Juza, and while it is mostly due to their passions i think, the fact they're also rough looking guy with a heart of gold must play a part as well. but yeah, he does look like Nachi a bit.

and i love your deeper analysis of the event yeah!!

I feel like Taichi is really an emotional core of the troupe in the sense that is, he tends to catch on what others are feelings easily. And he uses it in the early chapters to ease off the tensions and stuff, but he was being held back by knowing he was deceiving them. So now that he's more free, he can be more of himself. but yeah i also love the contrast with how Omi was the one to help Taichi through his breakdown and guilt, and now it's the other way around, it's Taichi helping him through it. and the parallelism between the play and their dynamic is spot on imo! well said!!

and god yeah the sticker things made me cry sO HARD, and the pictures! and everything!! sobs it's such a sweet found family i'm going to cry :(

And! i love what you say about Yuki, Taichi and Juza on this one. I love that Taichi keeps bringing it back to "that childhood friend" and it's always like. so obvious who it is for us rip. But it can make you wonder if Yuki was more honest as a kiddo when Taichi knew him, though now he's clearly not. I love the mention of how Zero is more like Juza's internal speech (which, if anything is another argument about why you should let Juza wear a dress, cOWARD)

but also your mention of the Yuki and Juza thing, while i can't think of them having a dynamic per se yet, but i actually wrote a post during my reread about how i was baffled at the fact they treated Muku the same way?? like both of them tried to push Muku away because they were scared of how people would react if they say pure, sweet Muku was associated to them. And i find it fascinating because i guess those two are pretty aware of how the world see them, and it used to stop them from fully allowing them to be themselves.

I also find it relevant with the fact Yuki says in his personal song that while all of this way people judge him weight on him, he rather be himself, and "I want to love myself". Meanwhile we have Juza who's also aware of the way people judge him and it weight on him, and he wants to change himself from this person he hates, this self loathing - and in a way, he can grow in a way to be "someone" he may not hate, even on stage. I feel like those two have quite a bit in common in this way of being rejected by their peers in some sort of way.

I really want them to share some stuff at some point because there's really a groundwork on it all :(

But i'm really glad you liked that event!! agreed on the pacing and i do love what it brings to the characters! it really fleshes them out and have them move forward a little and it's pretty sweet.

AND OMG THAT'S SO COOL FOR THE SONG!! i'm so glad you liked it, but that's incredible it turned out to be from one of your fav producer!!! ahah sometimes life is like that where you end up finding the stuff you loved back into new stuff! and the fact Rakuen Oasis was from him as well... that's so cool!!! just, so so cool!

Like last week ish I wrote this, thinking itd be interesting to explore what happened directly after the final proposal in the show, so I wrote this with hopes of it becoming a longer piece but idk if that will happen lol. I thought itd be good to post for today's new dream prompt, so here it is! Hope yall enjoy :) (I still dont exactly know how formatting works on this app so sorry if it's weird lol)

The way back to the castle is filled with hushed giggles and multiple stops to kiss. They both pull themselves together once they come up to the guarded door.

"Welcome back Princess, Captain," one of the guards says, opening the door.

"Hope you've had a nice evening," the other guard says. 

Rapunzel and Eugene look at each other and it takes everything in them not to burst out in more laughter. 

"Wonderful evening, thank you," Rapunzel says, composing herself first. 

"Keep up the good work, boys," Eugene adds before they disappear inside. 

If the guards heard their laughter before the doors closed fully, neither talk about it.

Eugene and Rapunzel turn to each other, standing in front of the closed doors to the palace. 

"I love you, Rapunzel," Eugene says for the hundredth time that night, still as genuine as the first time he ever said it. 

Rapunzel grins, biting her lip. "And I love you, Eugene." She goes on her toes and leans in, kissing him.

He responds with equal excitement, bringing a hand up to Rapunzel's head while his other hand stays clasped with hers. He can feel his fingers slide across the ring she's finally wearing and he sighs into the kiss. 

Someone clears their throat very indiscreetly and Rapunzel and Eugene jump apart from each other. 

They see the King standing in front of them, his expression unreadable, while the Queen stands next to him, her expression soft.

"So sorry to bother you, your Majesties," Eugene says, "I was just going to bring Rapunzel back to her room." He grabs her hand and makes to walk away, Rapunzel following with a sheepish grin.

They walk quickly down the hallway, running once they turn the corner, their laughter ringing out through the halls.

They stop in front of the door to the room Rapunzel has been staying in while hers is being fixed, both trying to catch their breaths.

"I believe this is where I leave you, your Highness," Eugene says, gesturing to the door over dramatically.

Rapunzel puts her hands on her hips and taps her foot, pretending to be lost in thought.

"Blondie?"

She grabs Eugene's hand and starts running down the hall again. 

"Woah-" Eugene stumbles along after her. 

She eventually skids to a halt in front of another door. 

"My current room just doesn't feel very homey," Rapunzel says, "however…" She pushes open the door to Eugene's room.

"Just to sleep? I don't think I could fall asleep on my own tonight after all of the excitement."

Eugene smiles and tucks a stray strand of hair behind Rapunzel's ear. "I have always slept better with you by my side."

Rapunzel smiles, leaning into Eugene's hand. "So is that a yes?"

Eugene sweeps Rapunzel up into his arms, her letting out a yelp and laughing as he does so.

"Of course, sunshine."

So, let's get one thing straight you and Bucky Barnes were nothing more than roommates who turned out to become friends.

 But it's clear that you wanted the relationship but not so clear to Barnes so you, hid all your emotions all because you didn't want to end up one of those sad heartbroken girls who would ruin our friendship you heard the rumors.

 Heck you heard them before you even met him you act like you can't hear the moans through the walls every Friday night.

When yall would go out it was a new face every week and  Bucky Barnes was a player he got under people's skin and then make his way to your heart and crumble it to pieces leaving it in the dust, and to never look back in all the 3 years you've known him never has he had a serious relationship.

So when it was a cold December day the first snowfall had just fallen so you called into work and bucky did the same thing this was your traditions to stay home and watch the first snowfall.

Drink Hot cocoa and do all the stuff couples would do but you had to remind yourself it strictly just friends.

 His brooklyn accent coming in thick that's the thing it would come out at certain times but mostly when he talks about steve. 

 That's another thing that made you fall in love wait…

 Love no there no way you cant you only like him that's what made you LIKE him, his compassion for certain things for steve for his hometown his family and many more wait did you love.

you stared out into the front yard where the snow started to come down a little harder  you felt  warm fingers grab your chin softly and turn your head to look the direction they were coming from.

 Your eyes met his and there was silence but its was nice comforting silence

  All you saw was his soft baby blues staring back at you his eyes dart from your lips back to your yours he started to lean in slowly.

 Your breath hitched in your throat  as he kept leaning in your voice barely a whisper you didn't even hear yourself speak.

 Your heart was beating so fast with a whisper against your lips

We use it at work a lot to make sure nothin' we're using got hit. Also, if you do email through wordpress at all -- get an SMTP auth plugin! This person uses the technique (they call it God's Eye View) for screenplay writing, so there's a whole thing about color-coding scenes based on what characters are in the scenes that I just don't bother doing, so don't let the crazy rainbow intimidate you! i think the reason barthood is more successful bc bart always ends up being painted as a deadbeat loser in all other future episodes while lisa is always exetremely successful n all the other future episodes episodes are always super cynical and it’s just a nice change of pace to see everything work out for him n it makes his motivations more impactful than lisa i think ?? plus the show seems to beat up bart while glorifying lisa recently which i think helps

that could be it! it was definitely a breath of fresh air to see bart actually succeed instead of being a failure. it meant a lot to me personally since i always saw myself in bart so whenever they portrayed older bart as a total deadbeat loser, itd made me feel like... ‘oh is this how we’re bound to end up no matter what we do? hmm’ lmao

however in the lisa episode its like...we dont really see anything we dont already know?? we all know lisa will always be successful in the future, despite whatever social/emotional hardships she has to overcome. i still love the episode but compared to Barthood it didnt feel like we learned much. i love it as an alternate POV sister episode to Barthood, but yeah its mostly stuff we already know about her character so it didnt feel that surprising or like a change of pace at all (cept for the episode format of course). Halloween of Terror is a wayyy better lisa episode from the recent seasons in that regard

'beating up bart while glorifying lisa' seemed to be the big theme in Barthood as well, and now i cant help but wonder if that was on purpose...itd be really ironic if it wasnt

funny how early on in the show it was the other way around. bart was the coolest guy in school and lisa was the loser getting the short end of the stick all the time. this is actually the dynamic im working with in my comic because i dont understand how, when and why lisa became appreciated by everyone in-universe?? hello?? the interesting part about her episodes are the shit she goes through, character growth and learning life lessons, making a change despite being the underappreciated voice of reason?? not freakin...having lady gaga try to make her feel better for an entire episode while she treats her like shit and then being like ‘oh, treating you like shit made me feel better! thanks’ like WHAT

thats probably an unfair episode to bring up since its so incredibly bad it doesnt reflect anyones true personalities and dynamics but i dont think ill ever forgive it

!!!!! ok so i personally feel that itd be better that i explained it like this: ive drawing since i was like 3??? so in general drawing came naturally! For digital stuff I wanna say I started in /maybe/ 2015 but i only did stuff on my phone which was,,,,, atrocious now that i look back on it,,, but i was proud. By about March of 2017 i got my first tablet which is the one i have now jfkdjsa. 

As for getting comfortable with digital art,,, the only thing i really had to learn was what different layers did and learning to translate my current art style into this new format. Because i already had a grasp of how to draw (at that time) it wasnt as difficult to learn anything tbh, if anything i had a blast experimenting with brushes and layers and colours! Even now I still do the same thing with every piece I make: I try new colour combinations, brushes, textures etc. 

All in all I dont think that one TRULY get comfortable with digital art if they continue to experiment and look for new things to learn you know??
