her height is never explicitly stated, but that info in the wiki comes from page 101:

"... there were two rather daunting slash marks about half a foot above Control's head, with dates about three years apart. One red. One green. With the director's initials beside them, too. Had the director been checking her height?"

we know control is 6 feet tall, so the marks being 6 inches above his head means the psychologist was 6'6. she was very very tall!!

Southern reach tumblr please help me. Is the psychologist actually 6’6?? The wiki says that true, but i don’t have a copy of Authority at the moment to check. Where did that information come from?

i'm also not sure what "00N" is supposed to mean. flipping it makes it N00, which is equally confusing. could just mean "null"? could be part of the coordinates? i really have no idea.

has anyone worked out what

means yet? the words "the exile" are pretty obvious, but im struggling to decode the coordinates. i assume they lead to two islands (the exile islands), but i cant figure out how they're meant to be broken down. do they, at all?

seems like no. curious about the titles, still.

in annihilation, it goes initiation -> integration -> immolation -> immersion -> dissolution

in absolution, it goes immolation -> initiation -> integration -> dissolution -> immersion

but whyyy!!!! why!! why. i need to finish absolution (or at least the relevant parts) before i can make any claims, but its such an interesting choice.

the biologist haunts everything in the false daughter section so far, to the point where i feel like phrases are intentionally reminiscent of quotes from annihilation
