i love everything i've heard so far abt da4. the only thing i'm a bit disappointed with is the age range of the companions.

i would have loved to see neve specifically and lucanis be in their 40s.

instead we have everyone with the sole exception of emmrich (confirmed to be in his early 50s) being in their early 20s to early - mid 30s.

#again: this is just my opinion #and it's a preference #but comps/chars in their 20s are usually very boring and uninteresting to me personally #there are exceptions to the rule ofc #text: personal #tbd

batfam meets the JL but it’s just the bat kids breaking into the watch tower during a debriefing or meeting to ask bruce the most mundane questions. they go about it like they’re interns that need to speak to the CEO during a board meeting. they walk over waving their hands and mouthing “i’m so sorry just need to ask batman something 😬” and then they lean over to bruce and ask something like “alfred wants to know if you’re gonna be home for dinner” and then they dip.

one of them started this when bruce didn’t answer their texts (it was probably tim or something) and now everyone does it.

im so much more interested in a hoo that lets Percy keep the status and power he'd left off with in the Last Olympian and explores how he grapples with that instead of immediately forcing him back into the role of the underdog at the expense of his prior development. Let the fact that he alone has the title the "Savior of Olympus" mean something. Let the fact that he is the sole survivor of the great prophecy mean something. Let the Curse of Achilles mean something. Let us see how it's a curse and how it could warp his sense of self. Let Percy be on a completely different playing field than the rest of the seven (or even the other children of the big three at this point) and show us how it alienates him.
