1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

I like how much of a high energy yapper he is. I think he's just a REALLY fun character overall, great voice acting, great character arc, funny banters and idk I'm just obsessed with him. I don't really dislike anything about him, he's an asshole and I like that for him :3c

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

I love a morally ambiguous asshole and he sure is one <3 His betrayal makes him so interesting to me. There's a nice little theme of him betraying the 141 while in the end staying truly loyal to Shepherd, while he himself inspires loyalty to his Shadows.

3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?

I love his rivalry with Soap and Ghost post betrayal but that fucker was getting along so well with them, especially Soap. Could have had a great bromance Phil.

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

Just a general fantasy AU with him is really fun. Him being a warrior at the head of a group of mercenaries, idk, I like the vibe, and I like to think about it when I ship him with my OC.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

I hc that he came from a wealthy but very religious family who did not like how flamboyant he was growing up. He pretty much left home as soon as he possibly could and joined the army right away so he could get away and prove to them and himself that he was stronger than they thought. He got popular with his fellow soldiers quickly because of his humor and cheery attitude (and huh, other reasons :3c). When both of his parents died, he inherited the family fortune and that's what he used to create Shadow Company.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

Hated his gut LMAOOOO. Hated his betrayal, hated his attitude, everything. Then I started playing a lot of warzone, specifically plunder, and getting him as the announcer and seeing the cutscene with him over and over again, I started commenting on how fruity he was and how he has a nice ass and stuff and my friend was the unwilling witness of me turning from "hate his guts" to "kind of like him" to "fully fucking obsessed." Then I replayed the game and I was fully sold.

Now he's probably my favorite character in the CoD games, I'm fully invested in my ship between him and my OC and I'm just having a silly little time <3

My great 1899 regret (aside, of course, from the obvious) is that we never had Welsh language scenes between Daniel and Elliot.

Aneurin Barnard and Fflyn Edwards are, as far as I know, the only cast members never to speak their first language in their roles. It is still relatively unusual to hear Welsh accents in British media; I don’t recall ever hearing a Welsh accent in non-British media up until 1899. It would have been still more refreshing to hear Welsh being spoken in a non-British production.

During one of last week's streams, Rubius played Vegetta's livestream on the TV behind him while streaming. He switched to something else after a while and missed a message Vegetta had for him, so a few days ago he rewatched the VOD to see what Vegetta (and Leonarda) said.

Rubius has been taking a break from QSMP for almost a month now after receiving a lot of harassment from toxic shippers and folks who were worried his Angel / Devil character might hurt the Eggs (despite the fact that he never tried to harm them and he's actually the one who gave JuanaFlippa her gun).

He jokes about the situation occasionally, and in this clip phrased it as "I like the Eggs, I just don't like the fans of the Eggs." I really hope he comes back soon :(

I've been thinking a lot about art and why it doesn't feel good anymore, and a lot of what I keep coming back to is a) simply not being happy with my style, but b) not feeling comfortable experimenting because I feel like I need things to be """post worthy""" 🙄 so like... it's kind of a vicious cycle lmao so I'm heeding the advice I used to give people trying to overcome perfectionism which was "don't worry about making things that are 'good enough' to post and just post everything."

English friend of mine confessed to me that she finds the Welsh accent hard to listen to and it really cemented to me how these things are acquired and not innate

I have difficulty not getting annoyed at Californian accents but the Welsh accent? It's so singsongy and rounded to me. I'm rewatching Torchwood and keep replaying clips because of my linguistics hyperfixation. the Welsh phoneme trapezoid is making me so inexplicably happy rn

I am also pleased that the rest of Neverra DO NOT has the weird fake accent of Cassandra. Personally i always felt that Cassandra voice actor sound like she is struggling to be able to act while using that absurd fake accent

i kinda like brackenfur, he's fine, but i find the sheer amount of "luigi wins by doing absolutely nothing" fandom he's accrued downright ridiculous at this point. he's the most inoffensive warrior cat but he's also the most "there's fucking nothing there" warrior cat. he doesn't overstay his welcome but it's because he only has like 3 vaguely memorable scenes or relationships total in all 6 and a half arcs he's been around for. you could replace him with a rock and basically nothing would change. where is the bar.

this can be because you liked all the starters a lot, or wasnt into any of them for a gen, or whatever other reason.

if you get multiple games in a gen/replay games and choose different starters for each game/playthrough, then you can take into consideration if you had any difficulty deciding who youd have as a starter on your first playthrough.
