#i like both songs by the way#but heathers is a dark comedy. its satire.#its why i dont like when people sum it up as blue being from k&r's perspectives while yw is from veronicas#its just not really true#blue is making fun of guys that will pressure and harass and guilt trip girls into sex by saying they have blue balls#which is a very real thing lol#while i love that youre welcome adds veronicas perspective into it#her verses are my favorite of the songs#and it still keeps the comedy#it also doesnt really stay true to the satircal core of the musical and movie#it also kicks out duke and mac which is. sigh#it makes those two more malicious i think than they actuallt are. they didnt WANT v to be raped#they wanged themselves NOT to be raped#and thags the difference#its a deeply interesting character flaw of theirs that is often overlooked#the self preservation. the commentary on how girls will often throw each other under the bus to save themselves#oh also a lot of pieple will say that blue makes fun of rape and yw doesnt but i think its the oppisite tbh? not that either of them rlly d#but blue is making fun of the guys specifically. yw doesnt rlly do that it moreso makes fun of the situation (daterape) itself#do i think duke and mac shouldve opened the door for ronnie? yes obviously.#is it in character that they didnt? also yes#anyways. lol#heathers#do not take my word fkr this tho this is my interpretation and i am just a sad teen girl

What he's done to his son makes him deeply uncomfortable with himself#but that discomfort means absolutely nothing when he refuses to change or become a better person#and he does refuse to change. changing is hard#he still keeps hurting Dev at every turn and maybe to tries to justify it to himself as being for Devs own good#but regardless he is still refusing to listen to him and hurting him even more in the process#idk im rambling#I like to keep the abuse balanced out with these nothing little concessions on Dales part#tbh even this concession didnt come from the good of his heart he just wanted to avoid making a scene#also because the visual of Dale deciding CARRYING him everywhere is better than just letting him have his cane is very funny to me

Pictured: Loop being extremely normal as they lay in their shallow (homemade) grave as they meditate on existence and also if they have annoyed the Researcher enough THIS time for her to murder them and bury them alive.
(Spoilers - they did not annoy her even CLOSE to that much.)
And there is the required reverse image of Odile arriving - she's had a LONG day (i.e. previous loop), and due to this it will take ten minutes before she even acknowledges the shallow grave Loop is laying in, as she was distracted complaining about what Siffrin just did to annoy her.

I'd say there's context for all of that, because like...there IS context? Here's the link to the series of fics that HAS that context even! But also...even with context...can't say that it's going to make any of this less weird.
Mostly Odile is looping because due to Loop's wish the universe got rewritten to make Siffrin's repression and emotional issues (the ones bad enough to get him stuck in a time loop in the game) 'someone else's' problem...or at least that's Loop's best theory atm!
Regardless, context or not, I'm quite happy with how the pics came out, and figured I might as well post them here too.

anyway my major criticism of ep 5 is that they should have put eddie with hen and put chim in the buck curse plot, and it would have been both funnier and more poignant

Oh I haven’t thought of this. Oh good god this’ll be great.
Keep in mind Chuuya’s a ginger. His skin is more susceptible to burning, if I recall. Not to mention he has several pounds of feathers attached to him, so he’s bound to overheat.
Unless he’s wearing something revealing, and in the summer, he does a lot, he doesn’t go out during the hottest times of the day or someone will soon find a melted Chuuya popsicle on the floor.
But let’s be honest it would be HILARIOUS if Chuuya was flying around with Dazai on the beach or something and got sunburned once. I’d get a kick out of writing/reading that one.
