mechanical crew headcanons.

jay is really good with physically building stuff and designing machines but struggles really badly with software and coding and phones and such

nya is is good with software and such but finds it tedious and much rather just get her hands dirty and build something awesome. her design notes are always random and illegible. (when working on something together pixal is constantly asking her "what did you mean by this")

pixal really enjoys all parts of the process. she finds people confusing and frusterating. but she understands machines and code. i think its very meditative for her and she loves to find out new ways to solve problems. she likes to make cool badass shit for herself and her friends! i think she also is really into the coding and software part because it feels almost like a first language to her.

zane could fix himself the way an average person can attend to their own minor wounds and he can follow instructions from the others when it comes to building but outside of a crisis he is suprisingly not that good with machinery besides himself

He’s a taurus baaabies ( b-day April 28th! mark your calendars right now !!) .. may i add something too👉👈 i just know in the bottom of my heart my man def has a sagittarius moon placement or lots of fire signs placements in his birth chart. ➯ Mainly because tim behavior rubs toby the wrong way. It reminds him of his father in some ways and gets highly defensive whenever tim tells him what to do or criticizes him.

➯ Tim thinks toby as a ruthless teenager ( even though he clearly knows he an adult.) thinks he needs to be told what to do at all times . Even though he a rough exterior … little does toby know he cares about him a lot. But of course there both to stubborn as hell to tell each that 😑.

➯ until one day toby accidentally let a victim loose. when tim found out , he got extremely upset at toby. The yelling definitely brought Toby thoughts of his father, as a defense mechanism toby argued back . Got a bit physical but overall LOTS of yelling, brian ( the savior-) had to step in and tell them to get over it and be nice to each for once.

➯ took a WHILE for them to apologize but they did eventually. was a bit awkward but hey at least there over it :,D . Now of days they almost have a father and son dynamic. Sometimes when both of have free time tim will show toby how to fix up a car, how to cook on a grill , yk bonding.

➯ brings Toby lots of nostalgia and confusion because he never treated like this by a man before bc the only nice people he was surrounded by in his whole life was just his mom and his sister . so surely his inner child is slowly healing. when he actually took a chance and thought about tim’s behavior towards him one night, he had to sit down for bit , beer in hand ( definitely not given by tim-) cry for a bit while tim rubs his back in comforting way while smoking a cigarette ofc.

🪓 . . a bit awkward and has a cold front when you first meet him. he likes to observe, doesn’t trust ppl easily. If he likes you, he eventually slowly open up his shell and he shows his true colors such being a little shit, teasing you playful ofc, butting head with you 24/7. eeehh..but if he hates you good luck with this one… he make it known he doesn’t like you . you won’t know but others who know him do.

🪓 . . Growing up he was known for being the shy quiet kid that never speaks up for himself. He thinks about it now and really started changing meaning slowly and eventually he became more confident. like throwing sarcastic comments , knows lots of good clap backs or calling out’s if someone offended him or something. he’s changed man guys nothing like his younger self. proud of him 🥹

I see ppl saying that he’s the kind of friend that wants to be around you 24/7. 100% agree 👍 . yk hanging out in yours or his rooms for like smoke breaks, joining you during missions, watching tiktok’s & sending them to you even though your in the same room as he is , or even just simply pure silent and just basking in each others presence.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you think are Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi’s greatest personality strengths and weaknesses? Why? What do you love about their dynamic? What are your favorite headcanons of them? Also, why do you love Link Click (like what is it that made the series special to you)? Sorry if I ask too much....

Ooh so many things to say, I apologize in advance for the wall of text haha

Let's see~

Lu Guang is too practical and one-minded. I think he has the ability to focus on only one thing at the same, because he is a very dedicated person, but also stubborn in his own way. Being a scorpio, he tends to feel a lot and comparmentizing or dissociating could be a defensive mechanism. I think that's his biggest flaw as a person. As a character, I think he's sometimes too much of an introvert to let on any information we don't already know. Yingdu Chapter is showing us so much more, because that's obviously a younger version of him. Time really took a toll on him. His greatest strength is that he doesn't give up, he finishes what he starts and I want to believe he has the maturity to recoginze his accomplishment despite having strong expectations. As a character, his most awesome feature is he's an unreliable narrator. I strongly feel about those, because they're so rare, honestly.

Cheng Xiaoshi feels, sees and experiences things in a unique way, with his whole self. I find it charming. Is it strength or weakness? Honestly don't know, but that's worth mentioning because he makes choices with his heart. That makes a good character out of him. He reminds me of Watanuki (xxxHolic); what he shows to the world is not what he is or what he feels, he struggles to find his place in a world that rejected him so early on, and that often goes with self-sacrifice. I think his biggest flaw as a person is that he is socially inapt haha but in a cute and childlish way. I love that he's socially awkward but has actual ambition? He's so creative but he needs Lu Guang's face to make things happen. He doesn't believe in himself enough while being loud about his qualities. It only makes him a more complex character but, yeah, as a man, it's a tough life haha. But that's what makes him loyal and genuine too. And the reason why he's all over Lu Guang whenever he gets the chance lmao.

HEADCANONS

I many many specific headcanons for them. You are not ready.

I'm conviced that Lu Guang is actually so weak. Not only his strength, but like, his body is constantly working against him, with constant back or neck pain despite his young age, anemia and probably low tolerance to spice and alcohol (I like to think he's a sad/whiny drunk). I think he doesn't eat much because he doesn't have any emotional bond with food (no madeleine de proust for this guy) so he doesn't particularly enjoy the act of eating as much as the fact Cheng Xiaoshi is alive to cook for him. But he has a sweet tooth! My ultimate headcanon regarding Lu Guang is that he wasn't the way we know him at all in the original timeline. I imagine he used to match Cheng Xiaoshi's energy a bit more. I find him very tame for a scorpio to be honest. We'll see~

The newest headcanon is that Cheng Xiaoshi has always been a restless sleeper. I think he always loved photography, probably because it was part of his parents' work or maybe he was praised for his pictures by classmates. Being an ARIES myself, I do recognize his dedication in things he puts himself in but is kind of lazy for things he has no interest in. He likes cooking, and this too must be linked to his mother. I imagine he used to help her when she prepared a meal. People tend to think he has abandonment issues and is kind of clingy to Lu Guang because of it, but flashbacks showed that he always was a whiny kid in need for attention (that's a good mother's boy haha *affectionate*).

On a more NSFW note, I know a huge part of the fandom identifies them on the asexual or aromantic spectrum. I don't know about that. I see what they see, but I don't think that's the whole story. I do think they can both be sexually active and enjoy sex as a way to express support and care. Cheng Xiaoshi reminds me of myself a lot. Being demi-sexual myself, I need strong intimacy and trust to be attracted to someone and feel safe with them so I guess I imagine their relationship to be this way because all of it is unrevocably there. I imagine that loving or touching Lu Guang wouldn't be enough for him, he would definitely workship him in a very intense and beautiful way. Lu Guang would probably be a quiet lover but eager, because of the dreading feeling of grief.

They would be very secretive about their private life. I'm pretty sure they were lovers in the first timeline but Lu Guang didn't want to make everything too complicated and decided not to get more emotionally compromised. Of course, as you can see in Yingdu Chapter, Cheng Xiaoshi makes it very difficult.

WHY I LOVE LINK CLICK

I came for the doomed gay, I stayed for the slice of life, I'll die for the tragic paradox and I'll dig six feet underground for hidden secrets. "The Time Traveler breaking time and space for his deadwife" memes brought me here actually hahaha

The post-modernist approach is what got me obsessed by the way hahahaha Does it make sense? The fact forshadowings are easter eggs in freaking merch? Mindblowning. I always felt like I couldn't get enough of my favorite shows, but Link Click delivers so well and I actually struggle to keep up for the first time of my life.

As a show, Link Click is beautiful to watch and I appreciate the strong cultural influences. The music got me in a chokehold as well, I never ever skipped the opening.

The fact the girls aren't mere girls but actual characters too. Qiao Ling has never been a possible love interest and that's strangly refreshing. No love triangle, just a family. That's my favorite part of the show. I fell in love with the first episode because of Emma. She still has a special spot in my heart.

And because it didn't lose time explaining anything, we literally dived right into the action (that's LCLA's biggest flaw, it wants to explain everything in details when they don't even know what's the deal with their powers lmao). The storytelling is clever, easy to follow, and the secondary characters are all so fleshed out.

Strangely enough, Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang's relationship isn't actually what I love the most about the show. And I do love them, as a pair, as stupid bff, as partners in crime, as almost lovers. But the fandom and I have a different view on the matter so I'm very dissatisfied with fanfictions so far. Me, I love the get together trope, preferably in angsty settings, but it seems they are so gay and tragic for each other in the canon that angst and slow burn aren't popular among the writers lmao. I mean, they are very gay in the canon as it is after all-

I'm quiet happy with the sharing experience of analyzing metas so far, though!

percy:

becomes a high school teacher

teaches high school marine biology (idk how it is in other schools but when we hit sophomore year we got to choose different bio classes ie: marine bio, ag bio, med bio + regular bio)

also teaches the mythology elective and is the swim team coach

annabeth:

we already know this queen is an architect with obvious inspiration from greek architecture

learns how to make blue food for percy and their kids from sally

has traveled all over the world looking at different architecture

learns the basics of many languages so shes able to communicate with the locals

her and leo team up to build a small school near camp half-blood for year rounders so everyone can learn consistently but dw they get summers off

HEYO, do you think your Regina GeorgeTM Nightmare would ever have moments of his past self just...idk how to word it rn, just like he slips back. He's there. Something that Nightmare wouldn't normally do, but just this once or twice?

Whether it's drawing the line at children. Killers can kill them. Nightmare would prefer to not....just, something about it is a little too similar for his liking. And if Killer asks, the answer is just 'I have standards' or something to try and cover it up?

Or, maybe a rare 'olive branch' between him and Dream? Perhaps he remembers a small detail and does something nice for once, even if it's a small thing, before going back to his bitchy self? Like, a tiny piece of candy Dream used to like. Or a moment of 'that's MY brother asshole', even if Nightmare still a piece of shit?

Or, not even a moments. What about small mannerisms he has from before, that he doesn't even realize he still has? Maybe it's posture. Maybe it's the way he tilts his head when listening or curious(as a child, it was much more innocent compared to now).

Ok thank you for asking that cause i wanted to ramble about how i view Nightmare for a long time and now the time has come, cause i usually talk about him in fragments, bits and pieces here and there, never fully diving into his personality as a whole

Thing is, corrupted or not, i like to believe he’s still Nightmare y’know? Beneath all that bitchiness, he’s still the same quiet loner little guy that was just never dealt a fair hand by life

I have talked before very quickly about how i think Nightmare has moments of kindness

And even talked a bit in depth about why i think Nightmare is extremely bitchy

And you better believe i love to think Nightmare has those little moments in which he has a kind thought that just seems out of character for him, but it’s truly not, it’s just that little guy inside is still there, it’s just harder for Nightmare to truly think clearly with all the corruption that consumes him

Not only that but i absolutely love to think a lot of his habits are still the same, maybe developed or slightly changed but still very much the same

and i even sketched a few sketches concerning these two points, i just never shared them

In the first sketch, Nightmare is thinking about bringing Killer to Ccino’s Cat cafe, bringing killer to the cafe has no benefit to Nightmare whatsoever, it only serves to make Killer happy (something that completely opposes Nightmare’s goal of spreading negativity) yet he still thought about it, it’s just one of those moments where his little guy self just shines through

In the second sketch, it shows a lil headcanon of mine that Nightmare never broke a habit (and even something of a coping mechanism /comfort) of finding a tree to sit by when he reads, it helps clear his head, and i like to fully believe Nightmare doesn’t truly realize he does this cause it reminds him of better simpler times when he was just a happy content child reading a book under his mom’s leaves

That aside, sometimes i love to include little details in my art that people usually don’t really notice most the time, one little detail is that i love to have Dream and Nightmare grip their clothes as a child would when they are distressed (especially if it’s specifically anxiety/fear)

That’s just plays into a little headcanon of mine that it’s a habit Dream and Nightmare had since childhood and neither of them broke it, nor they’re ever gonna truly break it, what I’m saying is Nightmare’s child-like behavior is very prominent when he’s distressed, and i love to think so cause Nightmare is first and foremost, a wounded fearful lonely child, someone who’s inner child never healed, so when things scare or distress him, his inner child just takes over and such habits make themselves known

To me Nightmare is still Nightmare, it’s just that the corruption has taken over and made his pain worse and by extension he wants to let that pain out by inflecting it on others, all while not truly realizing that he does it to let his own pain out, in fact, I wholeheartedly believe that if someone (say Killer for example) kept pressing him by questions as to why he does what he does, eventually Nightmare would hit a wall only to realize “huh… why am i doing this?” Cause Nightmare would never settle for a bitchy answer like “why not?” It’s beneath him

Not only that but i fully believe Nightmare can get those moments of weakness in which the past just eats away at him, something I sketched for too :’)

And when it comes to Dream, he definitely has those moments of hesitation that he himself doesn’t fully understand, he fully believes that he doesn’t care for Dream at all, even tho it’s not true

I even talked about Dream and Nightmare coexisting before

And even this animatic, in which Nightmare (while being unphased/ unresponsive to Dream’s affection at first) still allowed Dream to show him his affection and let Dream hug him, only to return it by a very subtle head tilt leaning towards Dream before returning to his bitchy self

And I even wanna bring attention to this lil comic (and the ramble I made in the reblog about it dhhxhx) cause I feel like it also explores Nightmare’s fears to an extent

Fears of feeling weak, cause Nightmare definitely developed the mindset that the strong devours the weak, i like to think Nightmare hates feeling weak cause who would protect him but himself?

That being said, he maybe a bitch, but he’s also a deeply traumatized individual with an inner child who’s in dire need to heal, my man needs therapy and love <33333

So i read the ask you got about a mortal au and it got me thinking in a mortal au, what job would the seven plus nico and will have as adults in your opinion?

hm, the seven (+ nico & will) with jobs...inch resting

annabeth: the most obvious one, but architect. between designing olympus and going to that school mentioned in cotg, it seems like she's farther along in her career at 17 than i am at 21 (it's fine it's fine)

percy: i think percy would jump job to job, maybe working at a skate shop through college, then an aquarium tour guide, and then ultimately as a social worker. i've seen a lot of sweet headcanons on how he would want to help kids in rough situations that remind him of himself, and i whole-heartedly agree. (in the canon-verse, i also think he'd want to work close to camp, perhaps as a sword instructor part-time during the summer or something)

leo: again with the obvious, but a mechanic like his mom. i could see him making some new invention that rockets him into fame & fortune, or i could see him maintaining a comfortable living fixing things for his community. i also think he'd feature on piper's youtube channel lmao

jason: nepo baby [gunshots] uhh...this one is difficult. it's hard to say i think in part because richard himself didn't have a future planned for him. i think that he was primed for leadership for so long (whatever that may mean in a mortal au compared to that of canon), that in the event that he steps out of that space, he would feel like a fish out of water. that being said, i'm just thinking about those posts about how his fighting was underutilized in canon. i could see him being like a martial arts instructor, though he would work to approach his instructor role with kindness rather than the brutality of wolves his mortal upbringers

I’m thinking about Peter Walter I (Analysis thingy?? Awwywiwiwh)

He’s such a conflicting subject in my mind likeee

Initially all of my headcanons painted him to be a pretty crappy guy. Most of it was for the sake of the development of other characters.

But more recently I’ve been thinking about the more positive side of Peter Walter.

Rabbit called him pappy, and continued to do so even AFTER Red Core. And though that’s pretty depressing because she thought the situation was her fault, she had to love Peter Walter a lot to continue to call him pappy. He had to give her a reason to love him.

He was BEST FRIENDS with Thadeus Becile before the rivalry.

He was ENTHUSIASTIC about his inventions, though they were for Delilah.

He saw things as a learning opportunity, even if they weren’t great!

He was careful. He was safe

I mean just LOOK at him compared to Thadeus Becile

And y’all saw the way VI talked about him in the comic.

He had all these good things going for him. He was a good person. He let that reflect in his work. Even when he was getting extra competitive, he was still careful and considerate enough to not cause major damage to the Cavalcadium like Thadeus did.

But when Delilah died oh my god.

He was such a good guy, but so much about him changed since then. He had so much happen to him, both as a result of his own actions, a result of grief, and a result of war.

And it’s like, he’s such a good guy, but there’s so much that can and HAS disrupted that. And it’s depressing

He became significantly more reckless building way too many robots all for the sake of escaping grief. He was too smart to be losing his mind. It was dangerous.

But not only that, it was during this moment of his life when he accidentally gave his robots sentience.

A terribly ambitious and intelligent man was losing his sane mind when he mistakenly made a miraculous breakthrough that gave his creations life. Also he opened a portal to another dimension.

He was a mad scientist when he became the “father” of his robots as well as give the entire world access to a different reality.

And to make it worse, it was like a blackout! He couldn’t remember what he was doing when he made the breakthrough! The scientist, a man who works very closely with VERY dangerous tools, doesn’t even remember what he was doing!

And let me just remind you that making and advancing his robots was a COPING MECHANISM. Imagine indulging so hard into your coping mechanism to the point where it ends up HURTING YOU. Because that’s what Red Core was to Peter Walter!

So long story short, Peter had to deal with the death of a woman he dearly loved, but didn’t love him back. But ON TOP OF THAT he was a wildly genius scientist. So much to the point where his life was inherently abnormal. He couldn’t do anything normally, INCLUDING coping. So when something went wrong, he didn’t know how to deal with it normally! So he deals with it in the only way he knows how and loses his mind as a result. But losing his mind only made him more successful. And just like that, this man is utterly insane!

BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!

BECAUSE NOW THIS MAN HAS TO EXPERIENCE WAR! AND AS I SAID BEFORE, HE’S TOO GENIUS OF A SCIENTIST TO DO ANYTHING NORMALLY AND NOW HE HAS TO GO TO WAR!

IF AN ABANDONED IDENTITY, INSANITY, AND GRIEF ALONE WEREN’T ENOUGH, LET’S JUST ADD SOME PTSD INTO THE MIX.

Two insane yet brilliant scientists thrown into war against each other using their own inventions that were results of their insanities.

And the war is over but now he has to get back to his robots that have essentially turned into his children because now he actually has to look back on what he’s done and work with it.

These robots have been too useful to abandon. Not to mention that they are sentient now. So he can’t just give up his life of science! He’s in too deep. He’s GOT to keep going. And so he did.

Also by the way he’s 32.

So, like, you see what I’m saying. He had every right to become a bad person. He sort of ruined his life by pursuing his passions which is SO depressing, AND THEN HE JUST KEPT GOING?

Of course, he was still messed up. As shown by the fact that he literally killed Rabbit. But considering what he’s been through, I feel like he could’ve done even worse.

And so like, there’s still evidence of that good Peter Walter! I mean, he’s just about as insane as Thadeus was but he still managed to avoid a majority of his footsteps. He kept going. He found love. He found happiness. He changed.

I think it’s made especially clear in Red Core. His sons have repaired a robot that he created in an effort to cope with the pain, only for that robot to remind you of that pain you were trying to escape over and over again. His first robot, and the first robot for him to take out his rage on. He’s seeing this robot again thanks to his sons, who didn’t even design it properly, and he smiled. What was the reason? We don’t know! But it meant something.

That’s where I think a lot of the goodness of VI comes from. I don’t think VI was an anomaly. I don’t think V was either. I think it all started with Peter Walter I. But it was drowned out by his insanity for the longest time.

I have a hard time imagining what kind of a father he was to the robots. He’s got so much good in him, yet he’s been through so much. And it’s like. What did he do.

Bunny has stated multiple times before that Honeybee is sort of laughable in terms of its concept. These days, she sees it more as a “Why did you wrap yourself so tightly around her finger, when people come and go no matter what. Why define your entire life by her” AND WELL

soo. okay there's kind of two distinct personalities to him! most of my ship 'lore' takes place with the mark that exists outside of work. that version of mark, as ive talked about a lot, is grieving the loss of his wife -- and he does so with a myriad of unhealthy coping mechanisms. we don't see a lot of him that isnt overcome with that sadness, really. soo here's a few of my hcs ive come up with :^]

i think he'd like music. nothing specific, but just something so that the silence isn't so deafening. e puts on their music a lot, and no matter what he'll smile softly; it's a comfort for him, reminds him he isn't alone.

i know i talk about the one sided-ness of e's love a lot, but i do think eventually mark would let himself be loved by them fully, and extend what he can back. it might not be much at first, he needs time, but it would happen. they are so ingrained in his life, he realizes he doesn't really exist without them, not as he is. they are his other half, he just needs the time to realize it.

e texts him at work often, inviting him over. they never expect a response of course, and he rarely replies, but he does show up at their front door anyways. it's an unspoken thing for them but there's always an invitation for him waiting, their door is always open and their couch is always free for him to sleep on, something he does take up more often than not. i don't think he'd realize just how often they put themselves out for him either? no matter how tired they are, exhausted mentally or physically from working or exams or studying -- they will always have a meal and a room waiting and ready for him, which can take a lot out of someone.

e also generally wakes up first. unless they're that tired, he might wake up first and leave for work, but generally it's them waking him up with a cup of coffee to cure his hangover or breakfast to send him off, not that he eats it really.

Ethan:

The youngest of the two siblings, Ethan is about 2 years younger than Carlie was.

His parents i think are fairly well off enough but not like Rich, i see them kinda like Scott Pilgrim’s parents, being able to support themselves and their kids and unintentionally kind of spoiling him in a way due to being new parents.

Because of his powers he doesn’t have a lot of long term scarring (more often than not something would inevitably ‘reset’ him back) but he does have some crowded teeth and acne scarring from even before he got his powers.

I headcanon he definitely has autism and ADHD (I mean look at him. It's canon to ME), and I think he also has some form of anxiety disorder and being prone to spiraling but he’s coped with it through distraction most of his life. None of these are diagnosed due to generally being brushed off as “just how he is”.

Struggles mostly with fine motor skills and focus leading to his clumsiness, over time he’s gotten better at socializing with others but still tends to have his ‘moments’ hence his general antics. Lucas and Carlie were his only real friends growing up.

He’s “straight” on paper, more so bisexual with a fem lean. He’s not even in denial, it’s just something he hasn’t really thought about and since he wasn’t 100% Into Guys like Lucas was, he just kinda left it at “Well i must be straight then”. Yknow that post that’s like “I think im nonbinary but I have to work so I don't really care about that rn”? That’s Ethan’s approach to his identity.

High-school level education, he never really saw much point in continuing it further and instead worked for a while until deciding to take the risk to open Gamehaven. Owns about the largest portion of the company due to the general assets being under his name.

In terms of work he doesn’t really do well with numbers + has a very loose idea of actually Running A Business but he does put in a lot of work in terms of physical stocking of shelves, event planning, and can handle most of the basics. What he lacks in understanding he makes up in enthusiasm.

His special interests mostly consist of superheroes (even before getting his own powers), the crown bowl, and gaming in general with heavier focus on series like Monster Hunter and Fallout. Hyperfocus is both his greatest strength and worst weakness as well as general tendency to bounce from interest to interest.

Irish American, similar to him in CAD.

Has a lot of little rusty skills he’s picked up over time, he’s actually not very mechanically inclined but he does enjoy creative stuff and can do some repair work with the help of Lucas and some videos. He’s innately curious.

Owns two separate phones, his actual one and the burner he calls the “Analog Phone” for all the calls to take as Analog. Until he exchanged numbers with Lilah, he never actually really used it.

Lucas:

Only child of a single mother, no real confirmed reason for this one it’s just Vibes.

Italian American, I think I saw somewhere someone said this was canon to CAD Lucas but i don't know if i ever actually found that out, it does feel right to me.

Used to play baseball like CAD Lucas had, but unlike him he kept up more with it. I see CAD Lucas being more bulky, bear type build with some muscle definition and A&D Lucas is more otter style build because he does more general workout + some slight “for aesthetics” reasons compared to pure bulk, also hero work just entails a lot of physical exercise.

Has to deal with chronic pain, as he has no form of natural ‘healing’ the physical damage and overexertion has caught up with him and it flares up every so often. What doesn’t help is he’s stubborn as an Ox and pushes through it, even when he REALLY shouldn’t. Some days are fine, he’s able to work and move around perfectly fine and some days he’s hobbling around and having pain spikes as well as generalized dull aching. More of a “throw back an Advil and just pretend it isn’t hurting” kind of guy.

Just generally very bad at being completely honest about himself and his emotions, he’s able to balance being “open” with others in a mostly sarcastic joking way and yet being incredibly closed off in terms of his actual feelings. He’s very cautious and has been burnt before. Constantly on the edge of being confident in himself in terms of physical aesthetics and terrified of anyone actually getting to know him.

Because he, again, has no form of healing he has a lot of small, faint scars on his body that have had to been patched up by Scott, they’re mostly healed but they still stay on the skin.

He’s canonically gay and I also see him as Demiromantic bordering mostly Aromantic. He’s much more comfortable and driven to physical intimacy than anything further than that and usually that’s fine for him, but his romantic intimacy skills are much more rusty because he just doesn’t feel that as strongly.

Has been friends with Ethan since elementary similar to CAD, did have a crush on him more so around middle school when he was coming to terms with being gay but those feelings have mostly come to pass and he sees him more platonically now. Also had his growth spurt later than Ethan, a fact that Ethan greatly enjoyed for a few months until he finally caught up with him.

Autistic, just on a much more ‘stealth’ level compared to either Ethan and Scott. He didn’t really want to delve too deep into it, so he’s gotten by just being “A little intense about things” or “Just a little weird at times”. Gets obsessive over his hobbies and interests, but plays them off more casually if not talking to Scott or Ethan because he fears judgment.

The least close to Carlie out of the three, but the two had been fairly close for his standards. She was the first person he felt comfortable coming out to (Or more so just happened to be the one in the room at 2 AM at a sleepover when he felt he had to get it out to SOMEONE) and she swore not to tell anyone about it. They had a relationship where they simultaneously knew very little about each other but also trusted the other on an unspoken level.

Went to a community college for about a year, loosely following for a computer science degree before taking the risk with Ethan for Gamehaven to put in some of his savings for a share of the company.

Handles most of the orders and works along with Ethan front-desk, being sort of the glue holding the other two together. Also able to lift heavier machines and move things around due to being the strongest of the trio.

TTRPG fan, enjoys games with solid gameplay loops and a focus on story, also enjoys playing 40k Warhammer.

Scott:

My specifics are still kind in the air about him, but I imagine him being mixed with (for now unless things change) a Greek-German father and a Turkish (GET IT CAUSE BIRD) – Indian mother. Mostly grew up in Germany as the middle child of three siblings who moved ‘temporarily’ to America to pursue a degree at MIT and live with some family there.

Due to his disability and general lack of ability or desire to see his family however, he is essentially landlocked in America and is unable to see his family back home unless they’re able to go over to see him.

Still knows a good bit of German but it has become more lost to time, doesn’t know much as much Turkish, Greek, or Hindi besides a few key phrases here and there.

I think his family is very well off, much more so even compared to Ethan’s, thus even allowing Scott to go to MIT along with general scholarships and such as well as allowing him to live in a fairly expensive apartment, though along with working he also does do additional work with repairs and coding to keep himself above waters and pay for additional technology.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Economics, and Data Science (at the cost of several gray hairs on his already early graying head), mostly focusing on his degree at the cost of his social life so Carlie was one of his only friends and first and only partner before her death.

Wasn’t very close with Ethan until her death, in my mind they have a very ‘my dumbass brother’ type relationship.

In terms of the business he handles the accounting side and numbers of the business, technically has the least share of the company but he doesn’t really care to “own” Gamehaven anyways. He just wants to show up to work, get his paycheck, and do something he finds fulfilling. (Plus Ethan and Lucas tend to be more understanding of his needs and problems than a traditional work environment)

A massive geek at heart, having fixations on sci-fi or fantasy media like Beserk and Star Wars. Didn’t engage much with it out loud back home but has been able to slowly break out of his shell at Gamehaven because of the already very geeky environment and become more Him.

Also Autistic, in fact he’s the only one who is formally diagnosed. Low empathy, struggling with black and white thinking as well as adjusting to change. Depressive like in canon, varying levels of functioning depending on energy levels. Strongest symptoms relate mostly to insomnia and negative self image.

Demibiromantic and Amantesexual, but again, only partner he’s had has been Carlie.

Picks up multiple hobbies and skills to keep his mind busy, in terms of games he enjoys mechanics focused ones such as Dwarf Fortress, Rimworld, and Factorio. Also plays 40k with Lucas and enjoys RPGs like Zelda and Fallout, being more a fan of the earlier games compared to Ethan preferring the later games.

His hair is naturally curlier, around a 2C texture, but to make it easier to manage he tends to straighten it down.

Big fan of console modding and right to repair, not as Full Speed for the sake of jokes as his CAD counterpart, but does still hold a very pro-linux standpoint.

Prone to compulsive lying out of a desire to either keep things close to his chest or to protect others.

Does try to make sure he has a good physical health in terms of taking medication and doing the general things he Should, but he's not great at taking care of himself on a mental level. Also just general hygiene issues that come with depression.

and its got our brains churning. matt is a character that really deserved to be explored more.

we like to headcanon that spin and matt have a hesitant brotherly relationship, and that whole sentence just added more fuel to that. matt definitely projects a LOT, so with spin being similar to his brother (yknow, the one who was able to escape the violence their father inflicted on them), he lashes out and says things that he probably had buried deep down inside him

other things of note:

what if he hates to be called nicknames by spin because his brother did that

the fact that matt is so quick to violence (especially towards spin) is definitely some sort of unhealthy coping mechanism

also i feel like matt is so open to violence is because of his home life situation, he doesn't know how else to regulate emotions - he copies what he sees, and what he sees is his father hurting him. im not sure, but i think it's implied that matt knows that how he goes about things is wrong but he believes that he's just that kind of person so he doesn't try to change?

like in his mind he is the rough, gets-in-fights-all-the-time boy and if he's going to get through his situation he has to keep that up.

also 2 more diabolical ideas from meowth:

ouch. my heart. of course this boy doesn't want to be like his father, but he knows that he could very easily become like him.

all this stuff could have been added to the books to give matt more depth, but it wasn't (to be fair though, night speakers is kind of a children's book series haha like 11-12 yrs probably) (but i mean who said children's books couldn't explore these aspects?) also matt deserved more interesting dialogue sometimes he had a banger line but idk he felt quite bland in that aspect (could just be me misremembering the books though)

Favourite game of the series?:2 wins overall, due to how much I loved learning about the new companions and all their little side quests and the excitement of prepping for the big mission. 3 has the best overall mechanics though, and the npc’s being able to banter is top notch.

MShep or FShep?: Both, but I tend to create themsheps anyway.

Earthborn, Colonist or Spacer?:Keahi is a colonist, Blaise a spacer AU. I think all the backgrounds have juicy potential but find the idea of growing up out there in this big new galaxy exciting. 

Biotics or Tech:Probably tech for my sheps, but I love having a biotic in the squad as backup. I’ll usually have 1 biotic ability as my Shep’s bonus and chalk it up to funky side effects of how they resurrected Shep in 2.

Paragon or Renegade:Generally paragon but some renegade interrupts.

Favourite Class:Infilitrator. Sniper Rifles are always my fave (or archers in fantasy games).

Favourite Companion: Such a tough question. As there’s a romance question later, i’ll save Thane for then. I’m also going to answer as me rather than who my shep’s would pick. I think Mordin is honestly the companion I got most excited about going to chat with or hearing unique lines from. And while not ‘companions’, I have such soft spots for Traynor and Cortez and consider them honourary squaddies.

Least favourite Companion:I mean there are plenty who I think have questionable morals/ideas/attitudes, but it doesn’t make me dislike them, it makes them interesting and gives fresh perspectives, so this is also a tough question. I feel bad for saying it, but I guess Liara? Only in that she gets so much priority in 1 and 3 but I don’t find her as interesting to chat with compared to others and also found her going from nerdy excitable anxious dork in 1 to ‘flay your mind’ corpo bad bitch in 2 gave me whiplash. The fact she sold shep’s body is another point deducted. And the way she let Shepard drop like hot shit in shadowbroker too, oof. I really don’t dislike her though and still find her overall character interesting.

My squad selection:I change it up a lot so I get to hear all the different things they have to say

Favourite In-game romance:Thane, followed by Steve Cortez and Samantha Traynor. Is anyone surprised?!

Other pairings I like:Feron x Kolyat, Thane X Cortez (why romance them separately when I can put them together instead!) Femshep x Miranda. I tend to headcanon my shep’s as older than the in game age so Jack feels too young for them, but I do love the Jack romance generally. 

Favourite NPC:That one completely chill smoking salarian in the citadel DLC. Dandenbo’s icon always makes me grin reminding me of him. Also the salarian Thane rescued who had his whole world rocked and wrote an email about it. You go you funky little horny guy.

Favourite Antagonist:TIM is interesting because you get that having to work together and resenting the hell out of it aspect in 2. And look he’s by no means an effective antagonist, but Donovan Hock is objectively very funny.

Favourite Mission:The suicide mission. It isn’t the best mechanically, but it’s very satisfying after working towards it the whole game and getting yourself as ready as can be.

Favourite Loyalty Mission:Thane, i’m biased. Grunt’s rite of passage is also just fun.

Favourite DLC:I’ll go with 1 from each game. Bring down the sky- I just find something pretty satisfying about pootling around shutting the 3 rockets off and finding all the little out the way side bits. And that view! Lair of the Shadowbroker- Feron my beloved. Gotta save my boy. Leviathan- felt like a breath of fresh air with the piecing together clues, and such a great creepy atmosphere. You really finish it feeling like ‘this may help, but at what cost?’ and it feels significant.

Control, Synthesis or Destroy:So funny story, I got so confused the first time I played and kind of panicked, completely missed that you could choose to run a different direction and just ran full pelt forwards yeeting shepard to the centre. When that activated synthesis I spent the next 40 odd minutes watching my computer in growing utter horror/confusion. Anyway destruction is the actual choice but fuck that whole ‘this has to genocide the geth and Edi’ thing fuuuuuck.

Favourite Weapon:Upgrading to the widow is nice but I am quite fond of the M-97 Viper in earlier/lower levels, the 6 shot mag is especially favourable.

Favourite Place:I really love the brutalist architecture of Port Hanshan.

Also Soul and Mind probably either don't trust Patton or think he's way nicer than Heart lol. Soul wants to protect him in a potentially self-destructive way since he's someone else's feelings by asking him to leave them all alone, whilst Mind might respect him more cos he's known as morality. Those are my thoughts at least. Do you have any?

Tbh you do make a good point, Mind probably would respect him more because he’s Morality, but the resemblance of his role and Heart’s just triggers something in Mind.

When I first made this AU, I thought it’d be neat that Logan would be a robot. (I put this into my design for him but I may or may not scrap it, we’ll see.) I also headcanon that Mind has mechanical prosthetic hands, and his voice modulator is also machinery. You know what that means????

Yup that’s right Mind’s jealous!!! He thinks he should be more robotic, considering that he’s a broader concept that Logan and he’s a robot. Besides, his whole insecurity of needing to be more synthetic is just dksgdjdbsjdhsjdh. It’s part of my interpretation of him that I love and you cannot stop me from including this in the AU.

I put Roman at the top because he does NOT trust Janus at all, who is the main one who is saying that he’s manipulating everyone. Patton views him as a son, and he trusts what people say, but yet again, he does trust Janus. Logan is below him because I feel he does notice the signs of manipulation, but he doesn’t think it’ll have any lasting consequences. Virgil is next because he was already anxious meeting Heart, and then being given proof of him being not as good as he seems threw him off. He does think Heart can change though (or at least hopes). Remus is next because he trusts Janus a lot, and he’s close with Soul who knows for a fact that Heart lies and manipulates. So he’s like “ah. I see. Welp time to give him a beating” and then comes up with cruel pranks bc he thinks Heart deserves them. Janus catches up to all the manipulation, being Deceit and all. And he also has a good enough relationship with Soul to know about Heart’s tendency to manipulate. AND he’s also close enough with Mind to get a view from his perspective, as Heart’s enemy.

When/If Heart has an outburst like he did in RoE, then shit would go DOWN.

Firstly, Logan, Virgil, Remus, and Janus would have their suspicions proved and would trust him far less than before. Logan and Virgil would still have hope, but Remus and Janus would not. Roman would have an “Are we the bad guys?” moment while Patton freaks out and lies to himself to convince himself that Heart is more than that, and that he is truly good. This would also cause Janus and Patton to argue, with Janus telling Patton to admit the facts and Patton telling Janus that Heart is more than a man who hurts people. Patton’s relationship with Mind would falter more as well.

DAI: the "No Heal Spell" playthrough

like, what the fuck? anyway...

Dragon Age: Inquisition major decisions made: - mage (Necromancer) female elf Inquisitor (Neria Lavellan) - romanced Cullen - I think I did more war table operations than my first playthrough - "ruled by force" because I sent my husband to do all the chores - all companions & advisors befriended & stayed loyal (other than Solas, iykyk) - sided with the templars as allies - denied being the Herald of Andraste - Celene lives & rules with Briala, Gaspard executed, Florianne a jester - Morrigan drank out of the well, allied with temple guardians - used judgements for mercy - Grey Wardens rebuilt - yeeted Hawke into the Fade - Leliana is Divine - skipped Descent & Jaws of Hakkon - disbanded the Inquisition - swore to stop Solas at all cost

i think I complained enough about the mechanics and praised the companions a lot in my initial post, so this will hopefully be shorter and will definitely be focused more on my head canon than the game itself I feel like.

some of the different decisions I made: I sided with the templars this time - character-wise, I felt like it made sense for a Dalish elf, even if she's a mage, to be skeptical of a mage rebellion and want to side with the force that can quell it. I was originally iffy on this choice, but a conversation with Vivienne about how mages are treated in the Circle vs. in Dalish clans, where she reminded me I was technically just as privileged as she was to be able to practice magic freely, that sealed the deal for me. game-wise, I heard that the quests with the templars were a lot cooler and Calpurnia was a more interesting nemesis, but idk. the quest to help the templars was fun, especially with Cole guiding you, but I enjoyed the time-magic mission with Dorian much more. Calpurnia has an interesting background compared to Samson (if you rushed through DA2 and didn't talk to him at all), but idk I think she and Samson are pretty equal to me. I missed having all the mages in the middle tower - Skyhold felt a little emptier on the inside :( I wish you could do both somehow, like the werewolves/elves in DAO.

denying being the Herald as a Dalish elf is just kind of a given - i'm surprised it was even a choice at all, LOL. I gave Lavellan a similar characterization to Surana with this - even though she started thinking she wasn't the Herald, after what happens at Haven, she starts believing in herself a little more and mistakes that faith for faith in Andraste. it doesn't help that she's getting closer to Cullen, too! this change is filled with more complaints about how non-reactive the dialogue can be in Inquisition: nobody was like, "wow, now you believe you're the Herald? this is so cool for everyone." they just reacted as though I had been saying I was the Herald all along, sigh.

i........was not expecting to like Cullen's romance as much as I did. I flirted once with Solas (this was supposed to be my Solavellan run) and was instantly grossed out. idk why that egg gives me the ick so bad, but he really does. BUT because I made my inky look like my HoF, who flirted with Cullen at the Kinloch Hold Circle nonstop, I really felt the "haunting the narrative" vibes like CRAAAAAZY. that tiny little side dialogue in Witch Hunt really stuck in my brain: two apprentices are talking in the dorms about how Cullen left the tower and he still holds a candle to the HoF and never got over her. it was funny to talk to him about his crush on her and EXTRA funny because she and inky look exactly alike. my headcanon really did all the heavy lifting for this guy's redemption arc - without it, it feels like he's really just The Guy With Really Bad Luck and, if your inky has him quit lyrium romanced or not, a drug problem. nothing wrong with that at all, but I prefer the version of Cullen in my head! my desperation to get to his next romance cutscene DID make me rush through the storyline quests a little too quickly, though. all of the HUGGING literally made me scream!!!! the hug at the end on the steps of Skyhold in front of the Maker and everyone oh my God!!!! I would've killed for a special scene during the Wicked Grace game considering we were locked in at that point, even if it was just when I went to go talk to him after (was there one? now I remember having a conversation with him and getting a flirt option but I don't remember if that was for the card game). let me take him to my quarters so he doesn't have to climb up the ladder to his weird little loft!!!

I think there were a couple missed opportunities for bonus dialogue, especially because he can't travel in your party with you. let him check in with me after Adamant! he knew Hawke (and Alistair, but Hawke's the constant in this equation) fairly well and i just had to sacrifice someone to a Nightmare Demon! that could've been ME! he was THERE! he watched me get yoinked into the Fade and is totally normal about it after. at least Dorian has that mental breakdown whether you romanced him or you're friends!! again, maybe I'm forgetting because I pushed through a lot of early game storyline, but compared to the Dorian romance, a lot of reactivity was missing. I also got the lyrium withdrawal cutscene literally right after getting back from Adamant, which felt like the PERFECT time to have a bonus romance dialogue. he WANTS to use because he's scared for me!!! and I have to convince him to keep struggling!!!! and i'm basically the second coming of Jesus to him so he doesn't really feel like he has a choice!!!! give it similar vibes to the prayer scene at the end of the game, which was SOOOOOOO good. all of the hugging was just really adorable and gave me crazy warm & fuzzies. I see why he's such a popular romance option tbh. the MARRY ME at the winter palace had me SCREAMING. he's literally so cute and he just wants to spend time with me and the dogs and it is possibly the sweetest ending card. still second to Dorian, but it's a close second. I don't think i'll ever be able to romance Solas with these two options.

yeeting Hawke into the Fade destroyed my soul. I knew that this playthrough, it would be Hawke because romanced Alistair was my Warden (honestly, I 100% recommend romanced Alistair as the Warden. the world state nuggets were absolutely amazing and the angst is worth it). but I still spent a week building up a whole head canon where Hawke and Anders are FRIENDS with Surana and Alistair, since Surana was friends with Anders and obvs agrees with him about blowing up the Chantry. they're the ones who have been helping the Kirkwall gang while they're in hiding. Alistair has brother issues (like daddy issues) and when he interacted with Carver and Hawke in Kirkwall, he instantly knew he needed to Fix It. I literally cried for twenty minutes after clicking "Hawke stays behind" because then VARRIC just had to ask me where Hawke was and I got the little "Varric disapproves." i'll be posting my full head canon and timeline at some point, but I like to think Anders is optimistic because Hawke might go after Vengeance in the Fade and set him free - then he'll be able to free Hawke. idk let me live. please listen to "The Place Where He Inserted The Blade" by Black Country, New Road for full yeeted!Hawke/Anders angst. I was also a little sad at how aggressive Hawke is about Anders no matter what, but I like to imagine Varric had to BEG him to be normal and pretend he doesn't know where Anders is. I'm literally still so upset about the Fade.

in general, I think playing as a mage and an elf gave me some really interesting dialogue choices and reactions from companions! being a non-human inquisitor in general just makes the game so much more compelling, and my party was usually Dorian/Varric/Iron Bull, so we were an extremely diverse little group. I think my party banter glitched this playthrough, though, because no one was ever chatty and the Dorian/Iron Bull pairing never happened even though we cleared entire maps together. I skipped Descent and Jaws of Hakkon because DAI burns me out pretty quickly once I get through the major beats - it's a real quick end game rush from "What Pride Had Wrought" on, which makes the pacing even weirder. I only fought the dragons I had to fight because being a lightning mage is a hard life tbh

i followed a whole walkthrough for Wicked Hearts so I got Belle of the Ball AND managed to get Celene and Briala to work together, which again felt appropriate as an elf inky. I enjoyed it much more when I wasn't stressed about my approval AND had a playthrough saying "if you care about *blank* then do this, if not, then skip that section of the palace" for the timed sections. I fucking hate inventory management in this game so I don't care about looting during that mission at all. the way Cullen instantly turns you DOWN for a dance!! I was like :o excuse me??? but he made up for it :) his romance cutscenes just always had me smiling like a big ol goof and kicking my feet where Dorian's had me sobbing and pining (positively)

i loved making soft Leliana Divine for this playthrough - both the templars and the circles were disbanded, which felt like retribution for Anders (and it'll make it easier for him to focus on getting Hawke out of the Fade).

truly, I wanted to do a "redeem Solas" inky, but i'm just so pissed off at him by the end that I want to beat him up. Anders gets the shaft and Mr. "People Die Every Day, That's What They Do" gets a whole anti-hero arc. Anders does everything he can not to involve his friends, because he knows it's dangerous and Solas actively manipulates his friends as a means to an end. and this isn't an issue with his writing, because Solas is a fantastic character - if he wasn't, I wouldn't feel so strongly about it. it's that Anders is also a fantastic character, but the writers chose to admonish and belittle him instead of redeem him. they wanted a whole story about overcoming grief and earning redemption while letting characters sarcastically critique Anders for a decade. I wish DATV had been more catered to players like me, because the more I play DATV, the more i'm irritated about it being almost entirely about the Trespasser DLC. there's SO much more interesting things going on and they even managed to make an elf rebellion fizzle out. I get that there are way too many choices across all these games and DLCs to incorporate into Veilguard, but my heart is really hurting at the lack of follow through on some of these major things, like who was sacrificed in the Fade and what happened to the Hero of Ferelden. time to go back to angsting about Anders.

Tbh I actually have a PJO AU fic I’m doing (not a crossover, just an AU), where all Librarians and Guardians that work for the Library - whose patron deity is Thoth - are demigods.

And my headcanons are as follows:

Greek:

Cassandra —> Athena (math, tactics)

Ezekiel —> Hermes (thieves, mischief, etc)

Roman:

Jake —> Apollo (music, art, poetry, etc)

Jenkins —> Justicia (Justice)

Egyptian:

Flynn —> Thoth (math, science, writing, magic)

Eve —> Bastet (warrior, protector, nurturer)

So, an equal mix of Greek, Roman, and Egyptian Gods… and also mechanics about pantheon rarity and other such things as well as what powers (or lack thereof) can be given to their demigod children.

I like the idea that being a demigod does not put a limit on your talents or abilities; for instance, Jake’s love of architecture or Ezekiel’s gift for technological invention, or Cassandra’s wide range of expertise.

I then chose the godly parents based on core talents and traits, and then factored that into what we know of the team’s family lives.

Cassandra would have been the perfect poster child for an Athena kid, with her stepmom seeing her as an affair baby and her dad not wanting any children nor having done anything to warrant the arrival of one on his doorstep. This fits with the parental neglect she describes every so often but never elaborates on.

Jake would be perfect as an Apollo kid, in the idea that his mom had an affair with a handsome singer at the local bar and that’s why his dad hates him so much too. Resulting in his talents and interests and serving as a reminder of his mother’s affair.

Ezekiel? Hermes. Has to be. But especially in the context of being orphaned at a very young age, because despite all of Hermes’ faults the guy claims all his kids and is also shown to be a bit more invested in their very early lives. It would make sense that he would give Ezekiel to Lenore, a thief, to watch over and raise.

Jenkins was a bit harder but once I found a match it made sense. Justicia, drawn to those of chivalrous quality, the illegitimate son of the most noble of knights (before his villain arc). And during a time when Rome was withdrawing from England, but its presence was still felt in the ruins and forts and defenses.

Eve was Bastet, immediately, to me. Partly because I wanted an excuse to give her pet lions. A warrior goddess, protector of Egypt, nurturer. Perhaps the result of an old flame on her father’s part before he met her stepmother, born into a military home and then chosen as the Library’s Guardian.

Flynn was trickier for me, but given his wide range of skills as a polymath when I did some digging Thoth made the most sense. I had him given as a gift to his parents because of his father being a Solomonic Mason, and other reasons that delve a bit too deeply into the fic’s plot, and of course he has four degrees in Egypt alone, so the connotation made the most sense.

All in all I had a lot of fun theorizing godly parents for the main six in the series and just wanted to be excited with you a little bit, especially because - given the above context - I laughed so hard when you talked about Jake being an academic affair for Athena.

I was picturing Cassandra shooing her mother off with a broom because “that’s my big brother, mom! Stop that!”

Librarians fans, anyone a Percy Jackson and the Olympians fan? Do you know how Athena - a virgin goddess - has demigod children? (In PJO). Her children are concieved through the melding Athena's divine thoughts and the ingenuity of her chosen mortal partner. Athena's children are born from the head like she was. They are literally brain children.

This thought crossed my mind. Jacob "genius IQ, has several honary degrees from universities in four continents, historian, art expert, architecture expert, martial artist, speaks 9 languages and can read 12 more including Greek, mechanicallyminded" Stone, is actually the type of partner that would catch Athena's eye.

Imagine if the librarians came into work one day a there was a baby??? Just there?? In the Annex??

Hello! Headcanons and scenarios for Mikey with a s/o that is not a touchy/affectionate person please? Like she doesn’t mind affection, but it has to be her who initiates first. I’d also like to add that she might seem cold and distant (maybe even haughty) but is actually very sweet and sensitive. Doesn’t like to fight and does not accept people overstepping her boundaries.

She accepts the fact that he’s a gang leader, but is a pacifist at heart and only accepts violence when it is required. Does not want to be involved in his gang issues, like participating in their fights and such. Can be rather distant and prefers to be alone most of the time. Does not enjoy hanging out in larger groups and prefers to be in smaller, if not with only one person. Is blunt and does not filter her words. Is a bit childish and can look pretty air-headed, but is actually really smart and is good at reading people.

She’s really picky with whom she interacts with and is because of this viewed as a bitch by many guys in her school. Like they find her attractive and would want to date her, but are afraid that she’ll reject them and will because of this insult her and call her names. She doesn’t react nor care. She is still very picky but has self esteem issues and can sometimes have very unhealthy coping mechanisms. I’d also like to add that she has a very unhealthy relationship with her mom, and has also poor eating habits because her mom kind of forced her to keep a good figure.

It’s just that I’ve been going through a lot recently and this person kinda represents me in some way. I guess that what I want is some kind of comfort with my comfort character, who is Mikey. I understand if this is to much and you don’t have to answer. Have a good day!

It was a hot summer day in Tokyo when Mikey decided to pay his girlfriend a surprise visit. He had noticed that she had been distant lately. Mikey, being the leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang, had a lot on his plate, but he still made time to visit her.

As he walked up to her apartment, he could hear her voice coming from inside, she was on the phone with someone. He stopped outside the door and listened for a moment, but he couldn't hear much. Finally, he knocked on the door and waited for her to answer.

When she opened the door, he could see that she had been crying. Her eyes were red, and her cheeks were stained with tears. He frowned and asked her what was wrong.

She tried to put on a brave face, but he could tell she was struggling. "Nothing, it's nothing," she said, but her voice was trembling.

Mikey stepped inside and closed the door behind him. He looked around the apartment, noticing that it was tidy and well-organized, as usual. "What's going on, [Name]-chin?" he asked again, more firmly this time.

She sighed and sat down on the couch, and Mikey sat down next to her. "It's just... my mom," she said, looking down at her hands.

Mikey knew that she had a problematic relationship with her mother, but he didn't know the details. He waited for her to continue.

"She’s been making me feel... small, I guess," she said, still not looking at him. "She keeps telling me that I'm not good enough, that I need to lose weight, that I need to dress differently... and I know it's stupid, but... I just can't help feeling like she’s right. Like I'm not good enough for you, or for anyone."

Mikey's heart sank. He had never seen her like this before. He put his arm around her and pulled her close, trying to comfort her. "Hey, hey," he said softly. "You're perfect the way you are. You don't need to change for anyone. And you're definitely good enough for me."

She leaned into him and rested her head on his shoulder, letting out a small sob. "I know, I know," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "But it's hard... you know? When someone you love doesn't think you're good enough..."

Mikey held her close and rubbed her back soothingly. "I understand," he said, his voice gentle. "But you have to remember that you're not defined by what other people think of you. You're your own person, and you're amazing just the way you are. And I love you for who you are, not for what you look like or how much you weigh."

She sniffled and looked up at him, her eyes red and puffy. "You really mean that?" She asked, her voice small.

"Of course I do," he said, giving her a small smile. "I love you, [Name]-chin. And I'll always be here for you, no matter what."

She smiled back at him, her eyes still watery. "Thank you," she said, sniffling again. "I'm sorry for being so distant lately. I just... didn't want to burden you with my problems."

Mikey shook his head. "You're never a burden, [Name]-chin. I want to help you through this. Whatever you need, just tell me."

She leaned in and kissed him softly, her hands on his chest. "Thank you," she whispered. "I love you.”
