Honestly Oh insults himself all of the time without even realizing it. "I don't believe you're actually dating" okay way to tell on yourself ya dumbass. Oh is openly admitting to himself, his friends, his crush, his crush's fake boyfriend, that he knows his crush doesn't like him back and he's so bad at being around his crush (just in general) that his crush is willing to pretend to date someone else just to get rid of him. He is admitting he knows he's not wanted! Just take the L my guy there's no coming back from that
#your sky#your sky the series#your sky series#also does he think that getting revenge on fah is going to win him rak?#he couldn't get rak when fah wasn't in the picture#and now rak actually likes fah so if oh does anything to fah?#he is going to see a side of rak he's never seen before#that no one has ever seen before#he is going to see rak angry#which is a terrifying thought#also unrelated but i think so far in this series fah is the only person who has gotten the chance to see#rak openly express negative feelings and drop the smile for a significant amount of time#while they talked about rak's ex#cause rak will have moments when he stops being all smiles and loving but those are only moments#i think fah is the only person who has seen rak drop it long enough to tell him about a hurt he was#and it only made fah love him more#what is going to happen when rak gets angry on fah's behalf? how will oh survive the wrath of the kindest person in the world

Is Babe my favorite character in Your Sky?
Yes.
And when she finds out all the shit that Oh has been doing, she will end that boy where he stands.
Because once Mew showed up with the red bag, I was convinced she was sent on behalf of the devil Oh.
Since she was a black bag girlie before being approached by the devil Oh.
But there's only room in this story for one Red Rascal, and a Black Brooder is already in love with him.
And even though Real is harping on his best friend for being a goofball in love, Real is much worse as he wears Hia's red often, even if it's a darker shade.
Because unlike Real, who is exposing all his secrets by wearing Hia's color, Blue Boy Fah tries really hard to keep his secret hidden, which is probably why he wears so much black.
If Teerak knew just how loyal and in love Fah really was, Fah thinks it might scare him.
But all the signs are there. Literally. 💕
And if Fah paid attention, he would notice Rak is feeling the same way since Rak continues to wear Fah's true color.
Oh, and center his entire life around Fah the sky.
But it couldn't be more obvious than at the celebration party where the pink straw was near Pink Person Joy and the green drink was near Green Guy Type.
Fah, hiding behind pick-up lines, sat there with in his black shirt and his blue straw and practically confessed to Rak with his yellow straw and PINK SHIRT!
Regardless if Rak is aware of it, he is already in love with that Blue Boy.
And Fah continues to give Rak his love and his color by giving Rak sweet treats with color-coded blue straws.
Yet he still keeps his secrets as he lies to Rak about who drew the adorable picture on his drink.
So since these two are incapable of thinking straight when it comes to each other, I'll be the judge of the potential date outfits because I am an expert in colors, which begins with Rak in his color!
7/10 - This would have been the perfect outfit for Fah since he is a Blue Boy in love, but doesn't fit Rak. Not yet at least.
8/10 - This outfit blended their colors together, but the red served as a reminder of the devil Oh breathing down their necks.
0/10 - It's not in their colors and the exposure of Rak's waist would have made that poor Blue Boy insane.
10/10 - It's Fah's color, and Rak looks adorable!
7/10 - If the yellow was more vibrant, this would have been a 9/10 since it also included pink!
?/10 - Oh! This is tough. It's red, but it's strawberries, and strawberries represent hearts (love) AND Rak wore a strawberry shirt the night Fah rescued him and kissed his head which started this entire fake-dating scheme, but Rak had to be rescued from Oh, so . . . this would be a great shirt for a real date where they both fully realize it's a real date at the same rooftop bar, but it's not right for this date. 5/10
But Rak is asking the important questions, which are what does he wear and should they match COLORS!
So I was thrilled that Fah, who is doing a horrible job of hiding his feelings and color, wore a dark blue shirt with a heart over his heart, and Rak wore his boy's color but much lighter and the most visible part of the shirt underneath were the letters in blue and pink, so their colors match but so do their feelings!
Once again, Fah has given so much of his love and color to Rak that Rak, completely unaware, has embraced his Blue Boy and his color without hesitation.
And if this show was finishing before December 31st, it would have won an award specifically for reminding me that these queer color-coded boys are in love by giving me rainbow lorikeets on their date.
Because they are color-coded boys in love with each other!
Even if they don't realize it yet.
#your sky#your sky the series#the colors mean things#color coded boys in love#episode four#Rak in blue and pink throughout most of the episode was the gift I needed!#they are adorable#AND IN LOVE!#colors award nominee for 2025 already!

Your Sky: Episode 5
I honestly don't think I have ever loved an on-going show as much as I love Your Sky. Instant butterflies and giddiness are all I feel when thinking about and watching this show. It is currently the highlight of my week, every week.
I did not get a chance to make a post for last week's episode (4), mostly because I was reading the book and was too overwhelmed to put anything into words. Thomas and Kong (and the entire cast) are perfect for these roles. Not only have they wowed me every episode so far but having the details and the back story just made watching this week's episode 2x greater. I am still overwhelmed so I will try to keep this short, but the happiness this show brings me tends to take over often so forgive me if this gets lengthy.
The first 18 seconds of them just taking each other in is already giving me butterflies. Teerak staring at Muenfah with wonder and Muenfah in turn staring at Teerak with adoration and pride after being told that he helped Teerak speak-up for himself, that he's helped him become stronger. Muenfah having to catch himself after unconsciously reaching out to touch Teerak. He never wants to make him uncomfortable with his own feelings, he doesn't think they're Teerak's burden to bear. Teerak instead noticing and giving the go ahead and better directing him on how to pet/praise him. This whole cafe scene is adorable, sweet sweet boys.
A BL father willingly watching a BL series and taking the time to listen and understand. I'm shocked. I wonder if this is it as far as Teerak's dad's acceptance goes (because the book is.. different). Teerak giggling as he imagines Muenfah as the teasing and playful main lead of said BL series is interesting and cute. Got something you want to say, Teerak?
These are the worst fake daters (and siblings-in-crime) ever. Between Punlee asking why they would hold hands, Muenfah and Teerak being completely clueless as to anything couples do, and Babe being a real overprotective sister even in a fake situation.. our crew is most likely going to get caught by someone, unless they've already made everything official by then. But my dear sweet Joy, I totally get you. Rewinding 5 times to catch every detail of a show is me with Your Sky.
Real is one of my top guesses for the one who may catch them if their fake-dating sham is exposed. That is if he can work past his own gay panic with a certain red cutie in his own life. The hand-holding at school was precious, even if the head pat was awkward. AND, Teerak was wearing pink while they did it! Which I know means he's in love, (Thank you, Petty!)
I love that they addressed the fact that for some people you can't just pretend to be a couple. You have to get to know one another and make progress for it to be believable. Punlee knew something was up the moment this whole thing started but the way he watched Fah in the kitchen, he confirmed what he already suspected. (Also, as someone who loves the details, I love how the production/design team made sure to include details from the book, the cupid fountain in front of the Phisut/Pisuthi house was a nice touch!)
Muenfah is so in love with Teerak, the way he just watches him with such fondness in his eyes. Not only does he adore Teerak, but he respects him tremendously. (Ugh, Muenfah you are the dream man!) Him moving around the couch to give Teerak as much space and comfort as possible took me out! They are not only adorable but they're also hilarious. I love that Teerak noticed Muenfah's discomfort and immediately apologized. I love even more the way Muenfah waited for verbal confirmation and consent that Teerak wanted his touch and then he just went for it. Like he had been waiting his whole life for it. The arm grazing, hand-holding, immediately scooting closer so that their bodies touch, his hand rubbing up-and-down Teerak's back, the hand on his shoulder. Teerak allowed him to stop holding back and gosh if that didn't confirm how badly he wants Teerak. Get Teerak out of the kitchen, NOW. But he’s sooooo baby. I, too, would fold. I get you, Muenfah, I really do. I’m praying for you, buddy. “P’Fah, we talked about this.” Fah, let him hold your hands, please. You both want to! They’re so flirty and I don’t think either of them realize until the other person is reciprocating! Oh’s obsession is beyond weird at this point, but we see where he gets it from. His mother is an enabler and she’s just as immature as he is for wanting to get unwarranted revenge on her son’s behalf. I’m disgusted by them both.
Teerak thinks his P’Fah is so cute. The endless eye contact between these two is astounding. Couple naps are very precious. They’re getting more comfortable with each other. I KNEW it was a dream, but STILL! The kiss! The fact that it was Teerak dreaming instead of Muenfah also confirms how much Teerak is falling for Fah, even if he doesn’t understand or realize it yet. He wants Fah so bad, he’s started showing up in his dreams. He doesn’t want their relationship to be a joke or to be fake either. The way he grabbed Fah’s shirt in the dream, please. His heart pounding after waking up and looking into the real Fah’s eyes. And now he’s avoiding him. Fah looks like he wants to lose his mind until Lee brings up the possibility of it being Fah making Rak blush instead of upsetting him. And then he’s all smiles afterwards, he wants it to be Rak blushing because of him so badly. Love as a sickness is almost always such an interesting and accurate metaphor. Poor Rak doesn’t understand what’s happening to him.
I love both of these friend groups so much. I love the way everyone adores Teerak and how Muenfah will give a death glare whether someone does and/or doesn’t adore him. That moment of realization for Dom when Fah and Rak are staring at each other. The almost kiss! They were both so ready and willing to let it happen. Even Fah’s friends were shocked they were going for it. And then Babe stopped it right before we got anything! (I adore her in all her fierceness, over-protective big sister love, and general cuteness despite being so tough.) Fah wanting to take his baby home like Dom and Babe aren’t right there. :(( Fah, himself was getting ready to lose it had he gotten to kiss his boy. He had to calm down. Him coming to bring Rak some meds even though he just finished working late at night. He had to have been thinking of his sick boy all day. He is the sweetest, most thoughtful guy ever. “I care about you," as Rak’s heart immediately starts pounding in his chest. People seem to think that Fah rehearsed the head pat and the nickname but this time I think it was all him. He had no one to convince, just him and his Naughty Baby.
Gosh I am SO obsessed with them. And the book just made me love the characters even more. Next week, our sweet boys get to go to their favorite place together and they get to film romantic scenes. Teerak is considering his feelings seriously and we’re being teased about him confessing his feelings to his P’Fah. They’re both pretty great communicators so my hopes are high. I’m so excited.

I finally got to read "blank" the novel
and I was really surprised how close (at least dialogue wise) the series were to it.
now there were some differences but overall, pretty close.
after having the full picture for both, I prefer the series over the book, especially when it comes to Khun Nueng but also because the book is in first person, and when it comes to other characters including Anueng, they are written from the point of view of Khun Nueng, which is fine, but I personally prefer stories that are 3rd person, and get to flesh out the characters from unbiased views. Khun Nueng being the narrator means that we only get her view on the others.
I'll get into some details under the cut
so spoilerinos ahoy
Khun Nueng, in the book, she speaks way more than in the show, and she has no filter whatsoever, which makes her a little bit more immature in the book than in the show. I prefer the way she was in the show, because she was better balanced, and Faye can just be mute in an entire scene and speak volumes with just her eyes (which is my preferred style of story telling. I, myself, write minimal dialogues, if at all, in my own stories). I like how Khun Nueng also dealt with situations in the series more than how she did in the book. For example when she caught Folk stalking, in the series she gave him an earful while in the book, she brushed his stalking off. When Fah asked her about the nature of her relationship with Anueng, in the book she went and spilled what they do in bed in full detail (no filter), which was unnecessary in my opinion and I preferred the more mild "we love each other, and we do things that women do when they love each other" approach in the series. Another thing that is very clear in the book, is that Khun Nueng only had sexual experiences with women in the past, never with men. She knew that girls in girl schools were messing around with each other, but when asked if she also did, she said that she didn't because it wasn't the appropriate age to do. It is safe to assume that she started having sex either during University or right after she graduated Uni, and of course behind her grandma's back LOL.
Anueng, since she's depicted from Khun Nueng's perspective in the book, we dont get the full picture of her, up until the end where the author wrote some chapters form Anueng's POV. Unlike the series, in the book, she remains immature in certain aspects, even when she's grown. In the series, she's not only the more mature, but she also goes through the biggest character growth of all. the series did an amazing job with her character, because they gave her so much more depth.
Folk, he's an absolute sweetheart in the series, and he becomes a good friend to Anueng, while he has no personality whatsoever in the book, he is just there.
Chet, he is bad in all versions, but he dare put his hands on Khun Nueng in the book, so I despise him even more. In the series at the very least, he made an effort in the end.
Yui, this poor girl!!! in the series she was given a chance to be Anueng's friend, while in the book, Anueng ends up ditching her and hating her because the poor girl fell for Khun Nueng's charms 😭
Piengfah, this is the character that I actually prefer in the book, over the one in the series. in the book, she actually understands her daughter, and why she fell for Khun Nueng. She doesn't lash out on Khun Nueng, and she's the only one who understands her. I was more sympathetic to her and her reasons, than the series one.
Dr. Wan Viva, ahhh pretty doctor😍. Million % prefer the series one, because not only her first scene is different than the book, but also she keeps coming back, and she's a great friend to Khun Nueng. (spoilers from the Affair novel) I didn't read that one myself but a friend did, and I asked them the details of their relationship. so pretty doctor, had gay thoughts and wanted to figure out if her gay thoughts were just for that one person or extended to other women. She first met Khun Nueng at a bar, and they had an one night stand. Apparently Khun Nueng was very good at fucking, and pretty doctor complimented her on her skills (LOL) but she realized that her gay thoughts are for her one and only. oh well.
Grandma 1, Khun Nueng's grandma in both the series and the book, gets the same amount of chara development and it's pretty much the same. I understand her role as a parental figure of a royal child, and the unbreakable exterior. I think the series picked an excellent actress, whose looks made her more sympathetic figure, especially at the end. (not gonna lie grandma was hot as hell too, in Khun Nueng's words, "of course all my family members are good looking" and that was one hot grandma right there😛)
Grandma 2, Anueng's grandma got little to no story in the book, since she was the character Khun Nueng interacted the least with. I prefer of course how she was depicted in the series, as they gave her substance and actual character. also both actresses who played her did a great job. The s1 actress was so fucking scary, the s2 actress was cuter and cuddly looking but her tongue was sharp 🔪 as fuck
One thing I absolutely LOVE about the series is that they added where it needed, and removed when it was too much.
One of the things the show added, was Khun Nueng taking care of Anueng in the hospital, in the book she was just visiting, but in the series she actually became a caretaker, she washed her, cut her nails, massaged her muscles, etc, and of course read her her fav novel "Blank" 😅
in the book Khun Nueng expressed in her thoughts how her royal title was not fitting the humility she was feeling (when she begged the parents to let her love Anueng, or when she dropped on her knees crying in front of everyone), but in the series, such thoughts were never expressed, but instead they showed how the ML Sippakorn had been humbled by nursing her loved one. I loved that about the series.
another thing the series changed was Khun Nueng's profession.
in the book, she was just drawing because she was good at it, and then she became a cook because she was good at it.
in the series, Art for Khun Nueng was precious, it was linked to her grandma giving her her first drawing equipment, it was linked to her pain when grandma told her that she shouldn't be an architect(by the way in the book she actually studied to be an architect, but in the series we never learn if she actually studied it or if she followed what her grandma demanded her to study.)
she made up with Anueng by drawing her picture, etc etc. and she ended up opening a gallery and do workshop.
the cooking on the other hand, was her love language. her grandma taught her how to cook, and she cooked for Anueng to show her love.
I loved that approach to her profession better. it was given reason, while in the book she didn't give a fuck really LOL
overall the book was an easy read, the use of some english words in the translate version unfortunate (I mean the word grooming, used with its innocent meaning. example: "my grandma groomed me to be a perfect") of course it doesnt take much for someone to make a bad faith argument and render the entire story as inappropriate. anyone with a brain can figure it out through context .
the smut was well written, just like with the series, in the book as well, there was a sense of consent given, Khun Nueng would ask all the time, what Anueng wanted. Consent is fucking sexy 🤷♂️

#i'm so grateful for this because of how it adds this heart wrenchingly beautiful tenderness to kluen (who is otherwise portrayed as being #cold and aloof) and allows him to show the soft tenderness he feels for dao
oh my god if you enjoy Kluen's soft tenderness towards Dao I can't wait to see how you'll feel about the extras!!!!
Sky in Your Heart is not everyone's cup of tea (in my case, I liked the setting and one of the characters, but not so much the other/them as a couple), but I recommend trying anyway, just to see if it works for you. If it doesn't, here's a list @airenyah made of the KluenDao moments scattered through the episodes, so you can find their scenes more easily.
After that, don't forget to watch the Star & Sky: Special Episode and their Our Skyy episode as well. All these extras are delightful, and I promise you're gonna love them 🥺
:o i'd heard that their Special Episode and their Our Skyy episodes were bad so i hesitating to watch them cuz i didn't want to ruin my KluenDao enjoyment... but now i really want to!
i... sort of see what you mean about SIYH not being everyone's cup of tea. i enjoyed watching Fah as Dao's doting/playful/protective older brother but as half of a main pair i can't help but find him kind of immature...although i'm cognisant of the fact that i've only just started the series and he'll probably grow in the process of the story. but its just weird to me because he's supposed to be a working adult who graduated a while ago, but he has bratty/entitled 2nd year uni student energy for some reason.
aaslkdfsldfj thank you for linking me to the list of timestamps!! that... will certainly speed up the process of me getting to the lovely KluenDao moments. *w*
but already in episode 1 i am basking in Kluen and Dao's dynamic!! its kind of overwhelming to see them so... settled into their relationship.
obsessed with the way Dao looks up with that teasing amused kitten smile on his lips. obsessed with Kluen being this bold in his affection in front of other people (and specifically Fah, because Kluen clearly feels he lived up to his words in ep 8).
oh my gosh i'm just realising how excited i am to see domestic established relationship KluenDao!?!? like!!!!! normally you don't get that cuz the show ends when they get together and you maybe get a small glimpse into it during the special episode but this!?!? a whole series worth of guest-star moments!?!? *O*
#ask#kluendao#on the one hand i keep adding things to my watch list and its getting really long but on the other hand#thank you for continuing to share your love of kluendao with me so i'm not alone in this *w*#i hope you realise you're just going to be That Person i scream about kluendao to now i'm so sorry if that isn't what you signed up for ^^;#star in my mind#sky in my heart

For the writing challenge how about Slow Dancing by V and Radiant Dawn? :)
You know what? I like you, and you've also been very patient (thanks! sorry!). Why don't you have TWO snippets? ;)
First, Radiant Dawn: 🐦🔥
"What's that?" asked Elincia, trying to peek over her shoulder.
A gentleman am I, and so should not
Blame you for ev'ry fleeting wish and thought.
But prithee, why must you confuse me so?
Your eyes tell me to stay, your lips say "go".
I trust I have made my intentions clear,
And that you know I love you very dear.
I only wish that you would do the same
And not play, with my heart, your little game.
Perhaps it would be better to depart,
And thus, protect my poor, love-stricken heart.
Alas! It is too late, I'll ne'er be swayed.
All my affections remain yours, good maid.
"Nothing!" Lucia stammered, stuffing the love letter into her pocket. Count Bastian would be the death of her yet.
When Nen came out of the mess tent, Neta was setting and the sky was rapidly fading to the burnt orange of twilight. The tents and shanties' shadows were lengthening across the charred earth, leaving New Silcard looking a bit gloomy.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And now, the Silen Fah one! ☀️
"Matches our moods," Nen thought sullenly, shuffling down a "street" toward the lean-to he'd been sharing with Fabian and four jelturen. He had to give everyone credit; they'd all really tried to bring each other's hope back. But their town was burnt down, and poor little Trajeda... he hated to even think about it, but she'd probably burnt down with it. Tannufia, especially, had been inconsolable, no matter what anybody did. There was nothing to be done now... but that didn't make things any easier to bear.
Then Nen saw something that did make him perk up a little. His eyes were sweeping the hastily-planted gardens on the outskirts of camp... and he noticed Vixie. He abruptly rotated in his walk and strolled in her direction. She had her back to him and was pulling out weeds - a bit more fiercely than was entirely necessary. Nen stepped over one row and settled down to help.
"Oh!" said Vixie, glancing nervously up at him.
"Didn't scare ya, did I?" said Nen.
"...No, no it's fine," said Vixie, her face softening. Then she frowned a little and looked back down at her work.
Nen grunted, and worked side by side with her in silence for awhile. But it didn't take long for him to get uncomfortable. Eventually he cleared his throat. "So... what's been eating you?"
"Eating?"
"You know. Bothering you. Upsetting you. Keeping you up at night."
"You don't know that," said Vixie.
"Everybody with eyes knows that," he said, gesturing up and down at her disheveled face. "You're sleeping less than your sister and that's saying something."
"Why should I tell you?" Vixie growled, struggling against something with a particularly deep root. "We don't even know who we can trust anymore."
"Hey now, that's hurtful," he said, trying - unsuccessfully - to catch her eye. "You know you can trust me. What reason could I have to sell out to the Mervaturen? All my friends are right here. You're right here. I'd have nothing at all to gain, and everything to lose. I'm not the spy and you know it."
Vixie suddenly met his gaze. She was hard to read - her brows were furrowed, her cheeks were flushed, and her eyes were full of tears. "Why can't you leave me alone?" she groaned.
"Wha-" Nen started, but stopped when Vixie started to cry. He climbed over the little plants and pulled her into a hug - which, surprisingly, she did not resist. Somehow, this silence wasn't so tense, and Nen was able to restrain himself for awhile. So there he sat, in the lengthening shadows, with Vixie weeping softly into his shoulder, for quite some time. But all the while, his mind was racing. She wants me to leave her alone? But why did she let me hug her? She's hugging me back? Is she mad? Just dealing with grief? Why accuse me of being the spy? I kind of understand the other humans, but why her? ...Maybe if I confide in her, she'll confide in me?
"Hey," he finally mumbled in her ear, when the crying jag seemed to be winding down. "Can you keep a secret?"
Vixie pushed away immediately and sat back on her heels, frowning at him again. "Don't tell me anything," she huffed, wiping her eyes.
"Eh? I thought we just had a moment-"
"No moments!" said Vixie, standing up quickly. The tears were coming hard and fast again. "This isn't the time or the place for a moment!" She turned and ran down the garden path.
"I don't get it," Nen called, hurrying after her. "You've got a thing for me, I can tell that. But you're always pushing me away as hard as you can. Help it make sense!"
"I can't do this right now," said Vixie, spinning around to confront him, and starting when she found her nose practically poking him in the chest.
"Listen," said Nen, "we're all pretty rattled right now, I get that. But pushing your friends away and always assuming the worst isn't doing you any favors. Romance or not, I want to help you. So I've got this thing I haven't told anybody yet, and I want you to let me trust you with it. Can you do that?"
Vixie started to say something, but whatever it was caught in her throat. Nen found himself holding her again, and this time, she'd initiated the embrace.
"Right," said Nen, swaying slightly between the rows of carrots. "So..." he took a deep breath. Now that he came to it, he didn't really want to give away his secret. But it was something to help distract Vixie from... whatever it was. So he forged ahead. "I figured out my power."
"W... what?" she said, puling her head away to look into his eyes.
"I haven't told anybody because I can't control it," said Nen. "It's not a blessing so much as a curse, really. Sometimes, when I get too excited or upset... I turn into a dragon."
"What??"
"I can't control when I change, or when I change back," Nen hurried on. "I can't even control my fire breath all that well. I do more damage by accident than anything else. And everyone else's powers have come so easily... I just don't think they'd understand why I can't control it. So I haven't said anything. But that's why I've been disappearing for days on end. I'm not a spy. I'm a dragon."
"Oh Nen..." Vixie leaned her head against him again. "Why would you tell me?"
"Well..." he thought for a minute. "Because I trust you."

Inspired by this post, I kinda wanted to make my own dream cast for a female Only Friends since it seemed so fun. However, it turns out that i'm indecisive (which you'd think I already know) so I mostly just ended up musing different options. I kept a lot of @pranink's casting because they were so dead perfect.
Like Pat and Fah for Ray and Sand, especially Fah for Sand is such an inspired choice because she can pull of that same edge of sincerity that Sand has. And Pat ofc is a master at playing terrible and yet sympathetic characters. (she's a miracle in P.S. I hate you)
Mew was a bit harder. I love Namtam but I kinda wanna see Piploy too. I couldn't find gifs that got across the energy I wanted but I swear, she'd pull off Mew's slightly condescending sweetness and need for moral superiority flawlessly.
For Top, Jane Ramida would be my first pick but I think Tu would be really interesting and in this type of role too. I really can't pick between the two.
I'm keeping pranink's casting of Jamie Juthapich and View for Boston and Nick because it's so ridiculously perfect. Like look at them?
Boeing was the hardest to cast tbh because there's so many options that would work and yet they'd all give totally different vibes.
If we keep Jane as Top, then i'd want Tu as Boeing. Imagine Tu getting between Piploy and Jane?? It'd be amazing. Also this means we'd get FahTu and that's a dream pairing if there ever was one.
But Ciize would kill it too?? And I also kinda wanna see Milk in this role? It's soo difficult. Pics below so you can see.
Final decision though is that if Tu is Top, then Milk is Boeing because F4 (You don't understand how convinced I was that Lita was going to fall in love with Gorya and my dismay when she took the far more boring route of liking Thyme. It doesn't make sense, idc if it's adhering to the storyline)
However, if Jane's Top then Ciize because I know in my heart they'd have excellent chemistry together. And they're both part of SIZZY and I'm slowly accumulating the entire band for this cast.
Gigie for Daddy Dan. I don't think her and View have acted together yet so it'd be a really fun pairing and I think Gigie's got that slightly suspicious vibe that made all of us think Daddy Dan was going to be terrible before he turned out to be hella sweet. (Honestly, Gigie could do Boston too and probably would've been my first pick for it if I didn't fall in love with the idea of Jane J as Boston.)
Cheum and April were also surprisingly hard to pick, especially Cheum. The mean girl that thinks she's a mom friend? Like there are sooo many options. New Thitipoom and Gun Atthaphan would be easy picks but I also like Mike Chinnarat too and Pod because Pod tends to play sweeter characters and i'd love to see him play a mean girl. Ofc, Gun Korawit would kill it too. April would be Guy Sivakorn (he's incidentally in the last gif here and also I believe in my heart that he'd have chemistry with any of these boys. Plus. he's already partnered with Pod (ps i hate you) and Guy S. (2gether) .
If I was casting April and Cheum as a pair though Gun Atthaphan and Tor Thanaphob together would also be great and it wouldn't matter which one plays which because they'd both pull off either.
For Yo and Plug, I kinda like Man Trisanu and Prim Chanikarn. We know Man can do Yo's commitment issues and Prim has that indignant righteousness of someone in their early 20s when dating an older person.
But- and this is literally just for wish fullfillment- you could keep the genders unswitched and go with Zani Nipaporn for Yo and either Pond or Nanon for Plug. Though honestly, as long as Zani's Yo, any of Gmmtv's younger cast could do Plug.
Prigkhing Sureeyares for Atom. I'm imagining her in that scene where Atom lies to Cheum about Boston and honestly, she'd be so perfect for it.
and finally, Jan Ployshompoo for Gap.
#i considered mook for daddy dan but i think she looks too sweet#only friends the series#this was much harder than i thought it'd be because i couldn't just pick one#as you can see lol#and why yes i did make that nanon kneeling gif just for this

I was already thinking about learning thai when I was watching simm. Because some things were so confusing to me at first and I was sure it was because I was losing context because I don't know thai. I know all too well how important language can be in how we perceive things.
I use two languages, bangla and english, in my everyday life. I use both almost equally. Bangla is my mothertongue but I did my schooling in english. So I am equally comfortable with both languages. Yet I struggle to translate creative works in bangla to english. Because how am I supposed to translate it in a way that preserves the essence of the work? The sentence structure, the use of certain words and the connotations behind the use of those particular words, the cultural context behind certain words and phrases, what pronouns are used, how someone addresses another person-all of these things add context. How am I supposed to explain how I can guess what kind of relationship two people have based on the use of the 'you' pronoun when there are three different singular 'you's and three more plural 'you's in bangla but only one 'you' in english?
Coming back to simm, at first I couldn't understand why everyone thought Fah was Daonuea's boyfriend when he clearly addressed him as his brother. It was one of the first thai series I watched so I didn't know anything about thai pronouns and addresses. It was only later that I understood the confusion was because of the use of the word 'phi'. Actually in bangla we use the words 'apu/bhaiya' to call older females/males in a very similar way. So if someone came to me and said that guy is my 'bhaiya' I would also be confused, because that could mean this guy is their older brother, cousin, boyfriend, friend or just some random older guy they know. This made me realize just how much context I am losing out on just because I don't know thai. But I was not convinced enough to start learning. I thought- am I really going to learn a whole new language just so I can understand this one show I love better? Yeah no, not yet at least.
I didn't get the same feeling of losing context again, until I watched bbs. I just know some scenes would hit differently if I knew thai. I just know it. Especially the way Pat and Pran talk to each other. I just know I am missing out. And so, I am now convinced enough to start learning thai. One series I loved wasn't enough, but two is more than enough for me apparently. Yay to me I guess.
Fun fact: I actually watched quite a lot of safehouse season 3. After watching simm, I watched the behind the scenes for simm. Then I saw a jd reaction video for simm trailer. Of course I watched that too. While watching I realized that there were other people there and they seemed to be in a reality show of some kind. So being curious, I went to watch said reality show. But then I realized this was livestreamed and had no subtitles. So, I couldn't understand a single word they were saying. At this point I wasn't even that familiar with any of the people in safehouse. But somehow, I ended up watching hours worth of footage, where let me remind you, I couldn't understand a single word they were saying. Except that one time jd spoke english, I understood that. Yeah I couldn't sit through the whole thing, I just watched parts of it. The games were fun though. It was after this that I became a full on jd fan, not just a fan of them as actors but also as people. I will never forget Dunk eating fried chicken with a fork and spoon. I will also never forget Joong getting startled by the cute music. I absolutely cannot forget that pool game where Dunk almost took off Joong's shirt. Or jd being stuck to each other for like 90% of their time there. It was fun actually. Also, Gun was so chill most of the time. He was a vibe. The few thai words I now understand are mostly because of safehouse.
#bbs#simm#language matters#i really should not be taking on a project as big as learning a new language but oh well#the best way for me to learn a new language is watching variety shows apparently#i picked up quite a bit of korean from watching korean variety shows now that i think about it

RAINBOW noun 1 an arch of colors vicible in the sky, caused by the refraction and dispersion of the sun's light by rain or other water droplets in the atmosphere
2 the unification of colors on a rainbow is often thought to symbolize equality because the rainbow takes all of the visible colors of light and combines them into one
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH! ♥ ↳ my favorite lgbtq+ characters in thai media i've (re)watched lately insp. I II III
some thoughts under the cut!
for pride month, i wanted to make something where i could appreciate some of the amazing characters i've come to love. so here they are, and here are some of my reasons for choosing them:
1) shin (tay tawan) - 3 will be free (red - passion, action, courage) i rewatched 3wbf for the third time at the beginning of the year. it is still one of my absolute favorite thai series, simply bc of its vibe and how much i love the main trio. amongst them, shin is my soulmate. he is the calm to neo and miw's chaos, the silence and peace to their roughness and noise. he stands in the sidelines, watching his two companions do their thing and doubts his place there. seeing him end up so happy and loved by so many ppl at the end gives me so much comfort ♥
2) akk (force jiratchapong) - enchanté (orange - creativity, enthusiasm, sociability) when it comes to akk and theo, it’s very hard for me to choose a favorite. i am absolutely in love with theo bc he breaks my heart. him losing his faith to love bc of his parents hits a bit too close to home tbh. but akk... he is so precious. he is lovely, sweet, ready to give his everything at all times. he never asks anything in return. he inspires me to be a better friend by being so selfless.
3) yok (first kanaphan) - not me (yellow - happiness, curiosity, deception) not me has such an amazing mix of characters it’s hard to choose favorites. i find something to love about all of them, but yok has a special place in my heart. i adore his passion - towards his art and his studies and the fight against injustice (and even his quest to seek out dan and then to stay with him). that passion inspires me and it's wonderful to see how in the series his passion inspires others too, allowing them to grow and be better ppl.
4) dew (ohm pawat) - dew the movie (yellow green - youth, hope, eternal life) i dunno if i have ever loved one movie this much or if i ever will. there is just something about this whole story that resonates with me. and then dew as a character in the middle of it all - his kindness, his hope, his faith, his smiles. his optimism in a world painted so dark is heartbreaking but also empowering. i wish there was more of him here. i wish he got his happiness after all the suffering ♥
5) khai (off jumpol) - theory of love (green - growth, luck, materialism) i rewatched tol a little after not me finished bc i wanted to see if it still felt as wonderful. i was a bit scared it wouldn't (i have changed as a person after all) but instead, it was even better. there were many things i noticed only after knowing the whole story and all those things made me ache for both khai and third. but in the end, i once again found myself appreciating khai's journey to self discovery and self growth. he works so hard to become better - to become a better person for third but also for himself. it makes me believe that we all can change if we truly want to and that no matter how many mistakes you make, you can still earn forgiveness ♥
6) tay (us nititorn) - kinnporsche (turquoise - calmness, empathy, secrecy) we see very little of him but in every scene, tay just Shines. he is absolutely amazing and i find his understanding towards everyone, especially kinn, such a huge strength. it requires a lot of patience to handle someone like kinn as a best friend, but tay does it bc he can see good in ppl. he can see into their hearts so easily. it's something i wish i could do myself.
7) fah (mek jirakit) - sky in your heart (blue - security, honesty, depression) i find it a little funny how obsessed with mek i've been ever since watching the gifted. there is just something about his face... but to fah, then. i feel like his character was somehow tailored for me to love. he's competent beyond words but at the same time just a human disaster. he has a big heart but he's gotten it broken so he's afraid to show it to anyone anymore. he's sweet and very caring but only to certain ppl. he hides behind this asshole facade, failing at keeping it up spectacularly bc that's just not who he is. am excited to figure him out and cry more about how prince slowly manages to heal him.
8) pran (nanon korapat) - bad buddy (purple - sensitivity, mystery, wisdom) it's amusing how many of us claim that pran is us. how can we all be him? but at the same time, it's so understandable. it's the collective queer experience i suppose - even a collective teenage/young adulthood experience if we consider what pran goes through. he falls in love and gets his heart broken; then turns himself to stone but never truly succeeds. he struggles with his parents and tries to fit his own hopes and dreams into his life in a way that would satisfy them. he's insecure but also strong af, loved by many ppl but incredibly lonely inside. no one gets him bc he's afraid to share pieces of himself to them. and then there's pat who wiggles his fingers inside all of pran's tiny cracks and pulls down all of his walls and it's so wonderful. it heals me as a similar person. we all deserve that. we all deserve to be loved like that.
9) thorn (suar kritsanaphong) - you’re my sky (pink - compassion, insecurity, comfort) when i started you're my sky, i didn't really find it in myself to like thorn as someone special to me. i rarely feel like that with the main characters so it wasn't unexpected. but he grew on me in all of his selfless, kind, idealistic glory. ep 11 still lives in my mind rent free bc it finally made me understand the tragedy within thorn. he's so ready to give up everything, to chase after this one dream - but he always falls a little short. there is always one more moment to wait, one more obstacle to overcome. one more tiny piece of himself to give up bc he cannot ask anyone else to be the sacrifice either. he literally gives parts of himself away anytime someone (fah) asks for it. and somehow i see myself in that too, how i used to ache after all the pieces i had lost. it was nice to see thorn finally receive some of those pieces back ♥
thank you if you were willing to read this far! happy pride month to everyone and i hope you all know that you are loved, appreciated, and deserve all the good things in this world ♥

This Week in BL - 2022 is the Year of Cheaters
Sept 2022 Wk 4
Being a highly subjective assessment of one tiny corner of the interwebs. Organized by which ones (in each category) I’m enjoying the most.
Ongoing Series - Thai
The Eclipse (Fri YT) Ep 7 of 15 - Screw you GMMTV, that was a dream kiss? That’s some Kdrama bullshit, that is. Still Aye is such a good character, so perceptive, I ADORED his interaction with Kan. Neo is doing an epic job with that role. That was that softest achey stolen kiss in the world. Also this ep = Beach frolic trope and a Make It Right moment.
Vice Versa (Sat on YT) Ep 11 of 12 - DOOM EP was not very doom for an ep 11 (except for the acoustic guitar). Pluen goes back because of what Tun did accidentally, not him, which honestly I kinda like as a twist. I was very confused about the “month long tidal inaction,” did the alt universe have extra moons or something?
My Only 12% (Fri iQIYI) Ep 7 of 15 - a tear jerker this week and likely next too. Also piggybacking across a bridge, two tropes in one. We about to get the time jump which is going to be interesting.
Work from Heart (Thurs YouTube) pulp office drama featuring lots of couples starring Gameplay. Started dropping on YT so I picked it up and stuck it into rotation. Poor Dee, his gramps is so overactingly bad, mean, evil, and homophobic. Still there is a sweet little masked meet cute. There’s a bunch of drama around a workplace and other couples all over the rainbow, so that’s fun. Sort of SCOY goes to work. There’s some nifty linguistic stuff going on so I’m actually enjoying this pulp trash. Shocking. Truly TERRIBLE wardrobe tho. And I don’t love Nammon w facial hair.
Love in the Air (Thurs iQIYI) Ep 6 of 13 - Not a bad episode, I wasn’t mad about it. But that’s kind of how I am with MAME, it’s always up or down and last week’s a cappella counter liftt situation rough, so I’m glad this one was a bit of a break. DUMPSTER FIRE TRASH WATCH ALONG HERE.
Fahlanruk (Sun GaGa) 2 of 12 - I do not like the narrative framing technique of the female blogger/whatever. Her character does not belong in this show. What she hast to say is unnecessary, pat, and boring. In other news we got into KP bathroom territory really quickly. “Do you really like him or do you just want to win?” would appear to be the premise of this show. Both characters are players, cheaters, flirts, and anti-heroes. They better both be deeply wounded or the narrative can’t save them. I’m assuming Sher made himself this way after some similar player type broke his heart. Not sure about Fah. That said, I do like how very gay, switchy, and verse these two are. Although a complete change of underwear in the middle of a sex scene was weird to say the least. I like the side dishes. No surprise there. Still I’m not sure I can take 12 episodes of this nonsense. I contemplated a trash watch but I’m not feeling snark-inspired just sad about it.
Linguistics corner:
Fah is using phi/nai or nong (in a belittling way) with Sher. Sher is using guu/mueng with Fah, Which is highly inappropriate and rude with a phi. These two are linguistically combative, to say the least. Also the show has all the wifey language your a little heart could possibly desire.
Ongoing Series - Not Thai
Takara-kun and Amagi-kun (Japan Thurs GaGa & Viki) 6 of 8 - No new Ep 6 this week. Have a lovely Shūbun no Hi if you celebrate. Otherwise it’s a good tome to be self reflective and contemplate about life balance etc.. around the Autumnal Equinox.
Once Again (Korea Fri GaGa) 3-4 of 8 - It’s a little bit more creepy than it is romantic, but it’s also weirdly amusing (this strange kid just keeps hugging him - that’s like 1000x even weirder in Korea than most places) and more enjoyable than it has a right to be. It’s a really interesting take on the childhood crush trope among other things. JaeWoo must seem like SUCH a weirdo to JiHoon. I guess what I’m saying is, it’s odd but tense and well acted, which is a nice change for BL.
More Than Words (Japan indie subbed by furritsubs - TIP ‘EM if you like em!) Adaptation of Etsuko’s two mangas In The Apartment + More Than Words. Has a violent crazy beginning but it is necessary for the story. About a lonely neglected/abused girl and a cheerful kindly popular boy who go to school together and become besties. When they get part-time work at a restaurant, a cute older gay boy enters the picture. This is classic Japanese close-filmed melodrama, and it isn’t a BL. But it is excellent. Can’t be relied on to resolve happily, or even resolve at all. I’m engaged even knowing this, and I love this subber so I’m gonna stick with it.
It’s Airing But I’m Not Watching It
War of Y - too hard on my soul. Will I watch it eventually? Maybe? Probably not. I think we have and ITSAY situation going on here. Also BL Express was not best pleased, and I while we rarely share taste, in this instance I trust their reporting.
My Tempo - a Thai BL movie about the Thai music industry. Yeah, no thank you.
Oh My Sunshine Night - I’m scared it’s gonna be sad, so I’m waiting for spies to tell me it’s safe
180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us - ditto above
Finished This Week
Coffee Melody (Mon Viki) Ep 10fin - (I am assuming episode 11 is a bts or music video.) The family dinner with the new bf was endearing awkward. We had a classic Korean one year time jump in the last five minutes of the final episode. (Which shoudl be left to Korea. Actually, even Korea should get to have it anymore. We’re done with this trope. I say this on behalf of the international viewing public.) My side crumbs got a cute little mutual kiss, unfortunately ALSO multiple sing your feelings tropes. (Will I ever get a week of BL without this trope?) It will be a long time before I forgive this BL for muffling Pavel’s light this way, I know he can do better. Very disappointing. Ultimately this show is so forgettable I’ve pretty much already forgotten it. 5/10 JUST DULL
Papa & Daddy 2 (Mon GaGa) Ep 8fin - It was a standard execution of the “marriage finale” endemic to most romcoms, just v. gay. I do like that my second lead syndrome got a little prospective action. Did I tear up at the wedding? Of course I did. We have established this before, I am a sap. All in all, this was a serviceable follow up to the first installment in the series, if riddled by unbearably unlikable parents, lack of story, and sappiness. 6/10 WORTH WATCHING BUT FLAWED
About Youth (Taiwan Mon GaGa) Ep 7-8 of 10 - I thought this was a 10 episode arc so I’m a little sad to find it ending this week. Are we ever going to get an explanation about what happened with the side dishes Taiwan really likes a romantic “one boy balances another boy on wheels” thing. I really wanted Guang to leave his awful parents but Im glad he at least threw the test. And I really appreciated that he sent a video since it was a way for him to accurately communicate his feelings without being interrupted. Cute final kiss! Very squee-worthy. Rainbow was a little on the nose. tho. All in all it was great little BL. Classic YA low drama but high angst, I didn’t even mind the singing, and that’s saying a lot. I wish it had been given a bit more space to breathe, but all in all a great edition to the Taiwanese Bl lexicon which was in dire need of a good sold high school BL. Full review here. 8/10 RECOMMENDED
Everyone say “Thank you Taiwan, may we have another?”
Gossip
In a Forbes interview the executive producer of Semantic Error (and CEO of AXIS CPP) revealed that AXIS production will be opening Blue by Blue, a drama label whose first BL project is about vampires. Interview here.
Kimmon and Copter are reported to star on their 7th BL together, a romantic comedy series, Boy Never Smiles. KimCop aren’t the longest running pair (MaxTul, BoomPeak, OffGun, and KarnNut trade that crown around) but they may now have the most BLs under their collective belts.
New Thai BL from Uncommon Studio Midnight Fortune adapted from a Y-novel by wickedwish for 2023. The MDL and tag lines are bonkers so I’m not dignifying them here.
Cutie Pie is getting a least one special episode, The Wedding, we assume.
Next Week Looks Like This:
Starting: Tomorrow Sept 25, 2022.
ErthMix’s Cupid’s Last Wish special spin-off mini series Oishi advertisement Ep3 of Magic Of Zero: Zero Supporter on GMMTV’s YouTube.
Male Entertainer (movie?) from Wayfilm, about a young man who works as an escort to support his family, on their YouTube channel (Trailer)
Monday Sept 26, 2022
Ai Long Nhai (Thai Mon 10 eps iQIYI) About a man expelled from foreign university who returns to a Thai univ in disgrace and meets A Boy. Adapted from a y-novel, directed by Nob (La Cuisine, Gen Y). Secondary couple Nan & Sippakorn are IRL husbands Arm & Porsch (Together with Me). Familiar faces include Gun (Love Area’s Valen) and Jom (Nitiman’s Jin).
Ending: Vice Versa
October line up coming soon, still waiting on distribution for some.
This week’s best moments?
Heartbreaking but so good, My Only 12%.
About Youth giving us a seriously classic old romance trope 1950s style.
4th wall breaking snarky bestie in Work From Heart.
And even more snarky queers.
They were shiny crumbs in a sea of dull, Coffee Melody.
This week’s worst fashion?
OMG Work from Heart with the HELL?
(last week)

~ getting to know your BL mutuals ~
I've been tagged by @excessivelyobssesed - I think you did get your revenge because making me choose anything is always a torture lol. To try and help myself I only picked through BL broadcast this year and finished as of today (12/12)!
~ rules: answer the questions and @ some people. include the tag ‘g2ky BL mutuals 2022’ on your post so we can find everyone’s answer. ~
What have been the BLs that took you by surprise this year?
Hands down Ghost host, ghost house. I expected to like it certainly (have I ever said how much I love ghost stories? yes?), but not to be taken in such a tender and touching story of grief, love, and growth.
Secret Crush on You. The stalker premise and the cringe humor had me ready to set it aside forever (I cannot handle second hand embarrassment this was straight up torture) but I’m so glad I didn’t. The love portrayed through the series is so diverse, so sincere and treated with such kindness, I really really loved it.
You’re my sky. For some reason I kept scrolling past that one on viki, despite my (undying, overwhelming) love for sports manga, and I started more out of boredom than anything. In the end, I loved the stories, I got moved far more than I expected, but most of all it looked BEAUTIFUL?? The photography through it all was incredible and I took tons of screenshots all along.
Kabe koji, not because of exceeded expectations so much, but if you had asked me earlier this year “what media will have a character you relate to at such a deep level that seeing him be loved even as he hates himself will mess you up for days” I would NOT have put my money on that one, and yet!!
what have been the BLs that you felt a bit/a lot disappointed with this year?
Senpai, danjite koidewa! for me too. It had a lot going against it (hello cringe) but I was finding it really charming and sweet anyway (will I ever come back from that scene where Yanase gently wraps Kaneda in his vest because he is obviously terrified to disrobe? Probably not) and then. Those two last episodes. I think I had come to expect far too much and it made the disappointment even worse.
Star & Sky: Sky in your heart. I found Star in my mind absolutely darling, thought what we saw of Fah in there was intriguing, and I like Mek Jirakit, so I was primed for that second part. But I couldn’t STAND Fah in there nor did I believe for a moment in his romance with Prince, so the comparison didn’t help with how disappointed I felt.
Adding Fahlanruk because I did DNF it, but it’s not so much that I was disappointed, more that it didn’t manage to surprise me from my low expectations and ended up not being entertaining enough for me to keep going.
… Bad year for characters named Fah uh (I guess You’re my sky redeemed them a little lol)
what has been your favorite BL this year?
Oh no. I have to make a choice?? Even if I only pick from BL that came out this year it’s going to be so hard… I’m going to steal the idea and do an non ranked Top 3(-ish) per country because boy…
Japan : Eien no Kino, Old Fashion Cupcake, Kabe koji (with Takara-kun to Amagi-kun as a strong runner up)
Korea : Semantic Error, Blueming, Roommates of Poongduck 304 or Cherry Blossom After Winter
Taiwan : DNA says love you (only one here because I only saw 4 taiwanese BL from 2022 - including the still ongoing My tooth your love)
Thailand : Triage, Ghost Host Ghost House, Secret Crush on You, My Only 12%
favorite BL couples (not just of 2022)?
Somehow I feel like I have to choose between all my children lol okay let's assume the couples in all my choices for the previous question have their place on this list, I will add: Kiyoi/Hira (Utsukushii kare), Pharm/Dean and Korn/In (UWMA), Ae/Pete (LBC) and Tar/Tum (LBC and TT), Petch/Pie (Oh! my sunshine night), Solo/Gui (Oxygen), Eun Ho/Lee Heon/Go Geum (Tinted with you), Win/Tops (Ingredients), Gitae/Chisoo (Long Time No See), Ootani/Tachibana (Ai no kotodama) ...
what’s your non-BL favorite this year?
The Korean drama Tomorrow came for me and kept me in a choke hold all through its 16 episodes and I loved it dearly (all the trigger warnings for that one tho, every episode deal with suicide and a whole collection of very difficult subjects) Severance blew me out of the water, I can’t wait for next season, Our flag means death was fantastic and renewed my long lasting love of pirates, and I have been enjoying the Quantum Leap sequel a lot so far!
Ok, if you haven't done it yet and would like to, I will tag @benkaaoi @heretherebedork @fandomfairyuniverse and @machikeita as well as anyone who'd be tempted to do it ^^
#g2ky BL mutuals 2022#once again I have no restrain and poured my heart out in there#It was so hard to pick - I have seen 94 BL series and movies this year by my last count#including 52 that came out this year!#... well I guess I know where all my missing hours of sleep went#for the favorite couples I'm pretty sure I'll come back to it in a few days horrified to have forgotten some but I did my best#and it's a good selection of canon couples I hold close to my heart#(some of them for quite a while - Ai no Kotodama came out in 2008 and I think I saw it circa 2010)#(... well this is carbon dating me I suppose lol)#ANYWAY#thanks for the tag! ^^ it was ultimately really fun#tag games

I felt that episode of Fahlanruk wasn't quite as good as previous but one thing I did love (aside from Tap and Ping) was Sher's encouraging Gear to go after Prince. I feel Sher is the type of guy who would lay down his life for his friends and idk, I just find it all quite endearing. Maybe I thought that Sher would tease Gear over his obvious crush but it was so nice to see him encouraging.
This isn't the first time Sher has encouraged Gear. But it's in contrast to how he continues to treat Prince more as his dating partner than his friends.
It's because he's using Prince as a shield against the idea of romantic love. He fills his life with caring about Prince and thus not needing or looking for romantic love.
Yes, it was sweet that he nudged Gear towards Prince... but I don't know if Sher realizes what will happen if Prince actually starts dating Gear. Because he will lose some of that shield he's clinging to so desperately.
Sher is so fragile of his own making. He's avoided love so much that he has no protection and he managed to fall in love with a giant asshole and now he's got nothing to protect his heart except avoidance, sex and Prince.
I do adore Sher and this only made him more endearing to me. He is a good friend and he tries to be a good person in general. He wouldn't cheat on someone just to try to get them to break up with him instead of breaking it off. Hell, he's been clear with Fah about how much he wants to keep friendship and sex apart.
Sher is a good friend and he's trying but I worry about how his trying is going to end up hurting himself and Prince and Gear and possibly even Fah (though I care about that less).

A Chance Encounter - 7
(Warnings: Fighting, blood, death, violence and an itsy bitsy hint at fluff:3)
For the words in bold, if you want to know 100% what they mean, here’s the website I use: https://www.thuum.org/translator.php
Moodboard credit goes to @quantumlocked310 show them some love!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ruth looked up at the sound of approaching footsteps, her eyes meeting Aragorn’s and she gave him a quick smile before looking back down at the dagger in her hand, blade made of bone and shaft of cold metal. “Legolas says they’re made from dragon bones” Aragorn noted, gesturing to the knife and Ruth nodded with a small smirk, spinning it effortlessly between her fingers before giving it to him so he could study it further. “Yes… all the bones I’ve collected from the dragons I’ve killed, they were starting to pile up… so I figured I’d use them in much better ways” Ruth explained with a light shrug, Aragorn nodding as he studied the dagger more closely. “I don’t use my… voice… as a weapon because it feels wrong. It’s a gift from Akatosh meant to aid me in killing Alduin… once that was done I-... I didn’t understand why my ability continued to grow, why my powers never faded… I know he only intended for Alduin to die, not every dragon, so why not take this gift away?... It feels too much like blasphemy” Ruth added in a quiet voice, sighing softly “I’ve only used one for fire but-... maybe it’s my old age, or maybe I’ve been spending too much time with the Greybeards… they’re monks dedicated to studying what they call ‘The Way Of The Voice’, practicing the powers that come natural to me in peace, they don’t involve themselves in anything outside their monastery…” Ruth mumbled, taking her dagger back as Aragorn gave it to her, her gaze locked on the floor beneath her until finally she looked at Aragorn “in the upcoming battle for Gondor… even with the army of dead, what do you estimate our chances as?” she asked in a quiet voice, Aragorn sighing as he looked ahead, deep in thought. “That bad, huh?...” Ruth asked half jokingly, giving him a bitter smile as she stood up, sighing “I’ll use what I can, Gondor is a city, cities have citizens, innocent people…” she murmured before nodding to herself, giving Aragorn a forced smile before walking over to Legolas who sat with Gimli, sitting down besides Legolas, giving him a soft smile before looking over her shoulder at the approaching white city of Gondor.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Plenty for the both of us… May the best dwarf win!” Gimli exclaimed and Ruth chuckled lightly, smirking as she twirled her daggers before putting them away, stepping to the side into an open area, a purple glow to her eyes. “Durnehviir! Hear my Voice and come forth from the Soul Cairn. I summon you in my time of need. Dur… Neh, Viir” it was as though the entire sky shook as the three words left her lips, a dark purple bubble forming in front of her on the ground, the green, sickly looking dragon emerging from it, roaring loudly as it seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Now that it was daylight, the dragon was more than a green glimpse flying past them. It’s wings were tattered and torn, a green, sickly slime clinging to it’s body, six curved horns protruding from it’s gnarly head, three on either side. It’s scales were a sickly green color that bounced through the green slime that covered most of it’s body. “Qahnaarin. Hi Bel Zu’u! But not for pleasure” the dragon’s voice was deep and dark, booming and commanding in nature as it stared down at the tiny person when compared to itself. “Fah Grah” Ruth stated, the dragon looking around the battlefield, as though it wanted to study it first. “There’s no time for thinking! Help us save that white city or I’ll banish you back to the Soul Cairn!” Ruth snapped annoyed, using her daggers to cut into and kill an orc that had dared to approach the two of them, her green eyes turning back to the dragon in front of her, gold shimmering and shining through, almost overshadowing the forest green. The dragon seemed to almost huff out in anger, as though deeply insulted but eventually it took flight, it’s tattered wings blowing Ruth’s hair from her face as she watched it fly into the sky, a sigh of relief leaving her lips as she hurriedly entered the battlefield once more. It didn’t take long for her to reach Aragorn, cutting down an orc that attempted to cut into him from the back, Aragorn turning at the sound of a thud, spotting the red haired woman smiling at him, a dark shadow covering the sky above them for a brief moment as the green dragon flew over them, burning a path forward for them using it’s purple fire, leaving a scorched path as a trail for the two of them to follow.
Ruth turned her gaze to a giant creature she had heard was called a Mumakil, a smirk tugging at her lips when she saw the blonde hair on top, her daggers sheathed as she got out her bow and drew the string back, letting arrow after arrow fly, hitting the fleeing or fighting warriors on top of the creature, so Legolas could focus on it instead. As the creature began to stumble she spotted Gimli in front of it, a frown on her face as watched him just stand there, unmoving. In the blink of an eye, she had crossed the space between her and Gimli, practically picked him up and taked him off to the side just as the Mumakil landed where he had once been standing, Legolas sliding down it’s snout, landing in front of the two of them, a cocky smirk on his lips. “That still only counts as one!” Gimli snapped, unaware of what Ruth had done as he moved on to the next orc, a smirk tugging on Ruth’s lips as she looked back at Legolas “thank you” he stated briefly and she rolled her eyes “he’s right, it only counts as one” she stated teasingly before looking over the field, watching the army of dead sweep the city and eradicate the orcs left, the fields quiet, littered with bodies but quiet nonetheless. “Ful Pogaas Dinok… And more to come…” Ruth whispered quietly with concern, her eyes moving to the soaring dragon in the sky, a frown forming on her face as she began to walk away from Legolas without a word.
The dragon landed with a heavy thud in front of her, shaking the ground and flaring up dust and dirt around it. “Kogaan” Ruth muttered as she bowed her head in respect, the dragon almost looking like it was sizing her up before nodding it’s head with the same air of respect about it. “I sense you have yet another task for me, Qahnaarin” the dragon stated casually, Legolas watching with a frown as Ruth nodded softly, using his elven ears to hear parts of their conversation. “When I summon you, what’s it like? We’re not on Nirn so… how? Is there a way back for me?” Ruth asked with worry, the dragon looking over the field for a brief moment, taking in all the dead bodies, it’s greenish eyes closing almost as though it enjoyed the sun on it’s body, head tilting slightly towards the sky. “Hevno Laan, Qahnaarin, I am not entirely sure. I feel no different from your summonings on Vus. Nuz Orin Ful, I was never truly on Nirn to begin with, Qahnaarin. What you ask is difficult, I made a pact with the Ideal Masters, it ties me to the Soul Cairn, I am never truly free. You, on the other hand, made no such deal, Tiiraaz, I cannot say with certainty” the dragon admitted in a much more quiet voice, it’s head turning to look down at the small human in front of it. “Daar Tiiraaz Hi, no?” the dragon asked as it titled it’s head at her, watching Ruth as she hesitantly nodded. “Perhaps one of the Deyra can help. They are powerful, are they not?” the dragon asked, Ruth once again giving a small nod in agreement as she kept her gaze on the ground.
“I was-… I was in a daedric realm when I ended up here… Herma Mora’s realm, or a section of it. I was looking for something, used one of the Black Books to enter, tried to leave the same way as always but I-... I ended up here” Ruth admitted quietly, the dragon letting out a sound that sounded like it was pondering, thinking over Ruth’s words. “Which one of his Black Books, Qahnaarin?” the dragon asked with a tilted head, Ruth frowning as she dug through a tiny satchel that always hung on her hip, stunning everyone who was looking when her entire arm disappeared into it, and even more so when she pulled out a book bigger than her entire torso, thick with black pages, black mist seemingly oozing out of it like a full cup, the binding of the book itself almost as dark as tar. “The… ‘Winds of Change’” Ruth read aloud without opening the book, surprisingly putting it back in the tiny satchel with no problem before looking back at the dragon in front of her. “Finish your dealings here, Qahnaarin, then read the book once more and Daal Hofkiin, return home” the dragon advised, Ruth nodding softly, still looking up at the dragon with a small frown. “You wish to see through my eyes once more, Qahnaarin, but I feel the call of the Soul Cairn, summon me at the Monahven and you shall have your wish” the dragon stated loudly, Ruth nodding as she took a step back, the same dark purple bubble of purple fire formed around the dragon, wrapping it up and shrinking, the dragon disappearing until nothing was there anymore but the scorched earth where some of the purple flames still burned on the flesh of dead orcs.
Ruth turned as footsteps approached, seeing Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas and Gandalf approach quietly, tired and covered in one thing or another, a soft smile gracing Ruth’s lips at the sight. “Durnehviir… the dragon you told me so much about, my dear Ruth” Gandalf stated as he walked closer to the woman, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder, giving her a soft smile that made her nod. “You should see Odahviing, he looks less… dead” Ruth joked lightly Gandalf chuckling as he turned and walked over to Aragorn and Gimli, the three of them walking towards Gondor as Ruth and Legolas were left standing, the latter taking a few steps towards her. “So… a way home…” he stated, Ruth nodding softly as she looked up at the sky for a brief moment, eyes closed as she enjoyed the warmth of the sun before looking back to Legolas, smiling softly at him as she began to walk towards Gondor, Legolas soon following. “‘Qahnaarin’… what does it mean?” Legolas asked after a while and Ruth chuckled lightly “‘Vanquisher’. He was the dragon I bested but not killed, besides Odahviing but that was more of a trap than an actual fight. Durnehviir was impressed by my ability to overpower him, in return he honored me with that title… names are very important to the dragons of my world, each name holds a certain power over the dragon, like Odahviing, Durnehviir, Alduin. To be named such a powerful title by a dragon is a great honor, and in turn became my name, sort of. It can’t summon me if shouted by a dragon, it can’t command me, but Dovahkiin is used to refer to any dragonborn in time, any with the blood and soul, but Qahnaarin… that is my own” Ruth explained with a satisfied smirk, looking at Legolas as he walked by her side while they entered the gates of the white city. “When the Mumakil fell… Gimli stood where it landed but-... you moved him” Legolas finally noted, Ruth sighing softly as she nodded “yes, another word of power, or Shout, as they’re called. It’s called the Whirlwind Sprint. It sort of… pushes me forward with speed, I had a feeling the Mumakil would land on our friendly little Dwarf” Ruth stated the last bit in a quiet voice, smirking at Gimli as the two of them had caught up with the others by now.
“I’ve enjoyed my time here… despite everything. I never knew another world existed… I knew that mine wasn’t the only realm but this-... this is something else entirely” Ruth muttered as she walked past the white buildings, a smile tugging on her lips at the blinding sight. Legolas took the opportunity to study her more thoroughly, her red hair was a tiny bit longer, but he only noticed it walking right behind her, it seemed to be a darker red than before but it was mostly because of the old dirt and grime stuck in it from over a year’s travel, fighting almost every day with no chance to clean up properly. She had a tiny smudge of dirt behind her left ear, making Legolas smile as it didn’t seem like she had noticed it yet, he was almost tempted to point it out, almost. “Is there a way for you to return?... Once you’re back home?” Legolas daringly asked, Ruth looking over her shoulder, smiling at him “I would have to make a deal with a Daedric Prince… a powerful one… this was a chance encounter but perhaps it could be done. You want me to return?” Ruth asked with a smirk, Legolas’ ears turning a soft pink as he looked down “I don’t want you to leave” he admitted quietly, Ruth halting completely, turning to look at him with a deep frown, Legolas avoiding her gaze before mustering up the courage and looking at her, Ruth studying him with slight confusion. “You-... want me to stay?... I-... I think I want to stay…”
“But?”
“But… I am not sure what you want from me… with me… I can never settle down in this world, I-... I-I have my responsibilities back on Nirn, in Skyrim… I have my friend, Inigo, I have my dogs Meeko and Vigilance, I have people who look to me for guidance. I’m the Harbinger of the Companions, the Guild Master of the Thieves’ Guild, I’m meant to save the world from the dragons that roast people alive and burn down their homes, there’s a civil war tearing the country apart… how can I leave all of that behind?”
“You have a great sense of duty…”
“Master Neloth would be furious…” Ruth joked quietly, managing to pull a small smile from Legolas’. “I would like to one day meet your master” Legolas muttered, Ruth chuckling briefly “if you truly want it, perhaps. But he’s a cold man. Always scowling, thinking himself better than everyone, expects everyone to do as he says without the thought of a reward. He’s stern, ruthless and uncaring for the plight of others…”
“And yet he took you in…”
“And yet, he took me in” Ruth replied softly, a smile on her lips “he is… cold… complicated, a snob, but he took me in, fed me, taught me, I’m sure it was for his own gain but-... he still saved my life” Ruth muttered, Legolas smiling at her “I’m glad he did” he stated, Ruth smiling at him with blushing cheeks. “I’m glad I ended up here, Legolas… I care a great deal already for this world, I will see this through, help Frodo and Sam and Aragorn, and you, I promise you that” Ruth stated softly, her hand carefully taking his, as though she gave him time to pull away, but he didn’t, making her smile a shining grin.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Ruth was sitting on the steps up to the throne of Gondor, her hair and skin washed clean of orc blood, dirt and sweat, her hair back to a fiery red now that the grime of the road and fighting had been washed away, freckles once again visible, dotted across her cheeks and the bridge of her nose as she watched a worried Gandalf. “Frodo has passed beyond my sight. The darkness is deepening…” Gandalf muttered darkly, Ruth frowning at his words, taking in a short breath and letting out a brief sigh, looking down briefly, his words weighing heavily on her heart. She had been to the Shire many times after Thorin, Fíli and Kíli’s deaths, meeting with Bilbo for tea and cakes, playing with a young Frodo as he grew up. Gandalf turned and crossed the hall, facing both Legolas, Gimli, Éomer and Ruth, Aragorn standing not too far away, his back to all of them, hands folded behind his back. “If Sauron had the Ring, we would know it” he reasoned, Ruth glancing at Legolas before standing up with a brief sigh. “We cannot give up hope, we still have our part to play in all this! We just-... have to-... figure out what that is” Ruth admitted the last bit with a sigh of defeat. “It’s only a matter of time. He has suffered a defeat, yes, but behind the walls of Mordor our enemy is regrouping” Gandalf stated with worry, Ruth sighing as she pinched the bridge of her nose.
“Let him stay there. Let him rot. Why should we care?”
“Because ten thousand Orcs now stand between Frodo and Mount Doom” Ruth reminded the dwarf softly, Gimli looking down with a small grumble, her eyes returning to Gandalf who was still troubled. “I have sent him to his death…”
“No, Gandalf… you’ve done no such thing, and you know that, deep down. You’d feel it if he was dead, even from way beyond your sight, you’d feel it. I feel that he’s still alive, Frodo is still alive… and as long as he’s alive, I know he will be fighting… There is still hope for Frodo. He needs time and safe passage across the Plains of Gorgoroth, right? We can give him that” Ruth stated desperately, Gandalf turning to her “how?” he asked, Ruth sighing softly, unsure of what exactly to do when Aragorn spoke up. “Draw out Sauron’s armies - empty his lands. Then we gather our full strength and march on the Black Gate-” he was cut off by Gimli choking on his pipe in shock, Ruth nodding at Aragorn in agreement, even though Éomer stepped forward with concern. “We cannot achieve victory from strength of arms…”
“Not for ourselves . . . But we can give Frodo his chance if we keep Sauron’s eye fixed upon us. Keep him blind to all else that moves…” Aragorn reasoned, Ruth smirking ever so slightly. “A diversion…” Legolas stated with a smirk, looking to Ruth who gave him a subtle nod before looking back to Aragorn, Gandalf approaching him “Sauron will suspect a trap. He will not take the bait!” he whispered, Ruth stepping forward, gently placing a hand on Gandalf’s shoulder, letting it drop once he faced her. “He will… he’s too power hungry and arrogant, he wants to watch his army as they fight, watch them defeat his enemies at his orders, he’s too wrapped up in how powerful he is” Ruth stated with a small smirk “trust me, I’ve know one or two like him” she added half-jokingly. “Certainty of death. Small chance of success. What are we waiting for?” Gimli asked, Ruth giggling lightly as she looked at him over her shoulder, her eyes moving to Legolas and she gave him a soft nod, a small frown and a soft smile on her face as she looked at him.
The missing heroines: some of the most obscure superheroine tv and movies
It seems that these days every show we can ever remember watching is immediately available at the touch of a button. As the market for video streaming services grows, year on year, more and most classic series have been digitised and made available as box sets, but there are some shows and movies that stubbornly remain hidden. Below is listed five professionally made tv shows or movies centring around superheroines that are (in one way or another) hard to find. It may not surprise many that they are all from non-English speaking markets, notably Thailand and the Philippines.
This is a long way from an exhaustive list -- there are plenty of other examples. The ones highlighted below are all productions that had decent budgets, and/or were screened to large audiences in movie theatres and on prime time tv schedules, but nevertheless have vanished into relative obscurity.
Komiks: Super Gee (Philippines, 2006)
Super Gee was a 2006 unaired pilot episode of the ABS-CBN series, Komiks / Komiks Presents. It starred Judy Ann Santos in the title role, a millionaire businesswoman and mother of four named Gigi, who secretly fights crime as a masked vigilante. The only person who knows Gigi’s true identity is Robin, her engineering genius younger brother, who builds gadgets for Super Gee and her motorcycle. In the komiks, Super Gee had a short run between 1972 to 73 in the pages of Darna Komiks, before being revived as Super Gee II between 1987 to 88 in the pages of Super Action Komiks.
Status: totally missing, perhaps still in existence.
Electrika Kasi Eh! (Philippines, 1977)
Electrika Kasi Eh! was a sometimes surreal superheroine movie that dealt with a plot to attain eternal youth through draining the lifeforce of children. The title heroine is played by Trixia Gomez, pitted against Chanda Romero and Celia Rodriguez as the villains, with Orestes Ojeda as the heroine’s love interest. Trixia starts out in the slums, but when her boyfriend is hypnotised and kidnapped by the villains, she uses a magic amulet to transform into Electrika (with a little help from Rez Cortez as an angel) and save him.
Status: missing, possibly entirely or partially destroyed.
Typhoon and Lightning Bolt (Thailand, 2011)
Otherwise known as ไต้ฝุ่นสุดซ่า สายฟ้าจอมกวน, this Modern Nine TV series ran for 60 episodes on Thai tv and apparently attracted quite a following with the younger demographic. Dust is the earnest son of a storm god, while Fah is the fun-loving daughter of a thunder god, and together they are tasked by their parents with helping mortal teenagers to stay out of trouble. The pair quickly adopt human identities and mingle with everyday teens, but they are quick to switch into costume whenever the need arises. Their parents are playing matchmaker, however, hoping that the pair will fall in love and form a new god dynasty.
Status: obscure, episodes may possibly be on a Thai streaming service.
Super Klenk (Philippines, 2000)
Super Klenk is perhaps one of the rarest superhero tv shows ever, with no clips online, and only a handful of publicity photos. Ara Mina played Charito, a school teacher who accidentally acquires super powers and becomes the superhero named Super Klenk. In her heroine form she has super strength, invulnerability, and the ability to fly. The series ran for just 13 episodes on GMA 7, and mixed superhero antics with comedy.
Status: totally missing. A few publicity photos exist only.
Wonder Woman: Wonder G (Thailand, 2010)
Otherwise known as สาวน้อยมหัศจรรย์ (Wonder G.) Shy and gawky 16 year-old, Wansai, dreams that she can become the most popular girl at school, never suspecting that a strange pink glowing rock she finds in the debris of a fallen meteorite will transform her into the amazing superheroine, Wonder G. This series ran for 48 episodes on Thailand’s Channel 7, aiming at the young audience by stealing some of the heroine’s aesthetic from popular Japanese Sentai shows. It was a mix of superhero action with romance, as Wansai learns how to become a superhero, while also becoming less socially awkward in her everyday life.
Status: obscure, a few episodes on YouTube, other episodes may possibly be on a Thai streaming service.
You're My Sky Episode 8: I'm out of words, I already watched the episode and i have tears in my eyes still. This is gonna be long, but I need to point everything because If I don't, I feel like I'm not doing justice to the show.
First, let's appreciate the change of the aspect ratio:
The aspect ratio it's only for Thorn and Fah's story, it starts with the match and it ends with the match. Now, I don't who had this idea, but let me tell you: I LIVE FOR THIS SH*T. The director/producers are fucking brilliant, this gives the show a cinematic look, fits perfectly with the raising tension and intensivity of what is going on. I don't see a lot of shows using aspect ratio to convey specific feelings, so once again, You're My Sky is going the extra mile.
Second, THIS WHOLE SCENE???????
The chills that I got all over my body. Not only is so well done but it's the parallels for me. Then Fah's face once he remembers this...
It's the way I can see the anguish, the pain, the hesitation... every little emotion is just one image. When i said the actors are so good in this series, I'm not joking, plus the cinematography... it becomes a masterpiece in my eyes.
Then we see more flashbacks.... I can't put every frame, but if you saw it, I'm pretty sure you notice the parallels and how well crafted it was. "I'll follow anyway" / "I'll follow to the National Team" "Practice, be better at basketball, and then, follow me. Okay my duo?" / "It'll be okay since we're both here, we are the basketball duo"
Fah finally realizes what he really wants, what is more important to him. It's being by Thorn's side and playing as a team, getting that gold medal TOGETHER: that's his path, his final decision, what makes him happy. I really love how teamwork won agaisn't extreme individualism, basketball is a sport after all, you need people. "I'm not elite as you saw me, I'm not the same type as you. And you've asked me if I'm strong enough to fight my battle alone. I can tell you... I'm not, I'm too weak to fight alone, I'm better thanks to the others"
Just this alone, it's so beautiful written and a lovely message: it's okay to be "weak", it's okay to ask for help, it's okay to need people and there's nothing wrong with that because everyone is different. Coach Tuan has a very narrow way of thinking, that will be his downfall at the end.
Now, the third thing, the rebound:
Once again, we are having more parallels, but I think what got me in this part is how euphoric this moment is. At the end, what makes them win is the same thing that made them lost with Coach Tuan, the same thing he didn't thought was "smart move": it's helping each other. "When I miss a shot, you'll go get the ball" And that was so satisfying to see: what a good ending to this arc. I been talking a lot about Thorn and Fah, now my two cents about the other couples. Aii and Saen: Breaking up is part of life, if you been in a relationship, you know the fear of "what if". Aii is overthinking, but is normal, he is not used to dating and a distance relationship it's a huge commitment. However, I'm happy that they he is giving it a chance, after all, if you don't take the risk, you never know what can come out of it. Yes, they are still pretty young, stuff will get messy, problems will happen... but that's life, I think they need to appreciate their time together now. I believe in their love, and with Saen by his side, i think he will be okay. They are such a cute couple and i just hope they communicate a little bit better with time, that's all.
Vee and Dome: Yikes, where do I start? Vee had a freaking panic attack and Dome still doesn't realize is his fault? (btw, that scene is extremely accurate, panic attacks are that heavy and i felt for him). Do we really want them together? I think we all know the answer, this isn't gonna work. You're My Sky has potrayed this situation is such realistic lenses... I don't know how they will end it, but i trust them. VEE DESERVES BETTER, PERIOD.
Joongdunk anon here. The interview you were asking about is from the 'rtuituika' youtube channel. This is a link to the interview with eng subs: https://youtu.be/e4mJwNSCxHY?si=dMzno_0Nll4ReLO1
There is a longer version of this interview on the same channel but that is not subbed.
thank you, joondunk anon!!! hahahah i really liked this interviewer's energy - partly cuz she seems very chill and asks interesting questions and seems like a genuine fan, but also because she has such strong reactions to the insanity that is joongdunk.
but like... gotta love her energy:
covering your face with your own hair in embarrassment over your reaction to a cute boy on screen?? #relatable
also omg so i binged/half skimmed at 1.5 speed SIMM yesterday in between working on my assignments and the way i too felt so frustrated at this part because of all the misunderstandings made by kleun eavesdropping so consistently but also only getting partial understandings of what daonuea is feeling/thinking!
also i very much went feral over kleun getting jealous of dao's brother when he first comes on the scene. yes it could tell fah wasn't really a romantic rival but it was so well set up with the sequence of daonuea talking cutely on the phone with him and calling himself "dao". xD
favourite scene that i saw multiple times?? kleun just decking typhoon because of the stolen kiss. the ferocity in the way joong played that scene makes me very, very excited to see what he's going to do with fadel given how much more violent he gets to be in that role. *O* but also the part where he goes "did i hurt you??" to daoneua once he catches himself. i got a bit choked up ngl.
#ask#joongdunk#joong archen#dunk natachai#no but the whiplash this series gave me tho#they never let you rest its like constant highs and lows??#also i have frustrations with the writing of simm but they did SOME of the most trope-y things really really well and i do appreciate that
