Guess whom upon reflecting for 5 minutes realized that the reason they were only to get so far in their healing journey is because they’ve been trying to solo the journey this whole time as opposed to like.

Lean a little bit on the relationships around me.

#fearful avoidant is fearful avoidanting #no bc I was looking back at a lotta the hardships in terms of trying to break away from old mindsets #and it occured to me it’s like #bc I don’t have other minds and hearts challenging the mindset that I cognitively know is wrong but emotionally dunno it’s wrong #and it’s bc I don’t reach out abt it #& I know it’s two things that are causing this #it’s a) the fact I feel like a burden for existing & b) I didn’t grow up with reliable emotional supports aka none at all #and this is gross and disgusting because that means the next thing I actually have to do it…#be emotionally vulnerable 💀#which I have never been able to be for long without feeling guilt/nausea/stronger self-loathing #GOD I HATE EXISTING #anyway

I just did some math and, if Cas is as old as the earth, his 12 years with Dean is equivalent to like 0.08 seconds in a human lifespan. That’s less than 1/10th of a second, shorter than the blink of an eye. He knew Dean for such a short amount of time compared to his entire existence and it was enough to fundamentally change everything about Cas and how he sees the world. That’s absolutely insane to me.

#if u don’t believe me its (12/4.5billion)*365*seconds per day #I originally thought it was the equivalent to like one afternoon to a human #and a lot can happen in an afternoon. okay but imagine you are a researcher at the magnus institute looking through the archives for a paper you're writing and one of the statements you're using as a source happens to be on tape so you put it into the tape recorder and this absolute THEATRE KID of a millenial starts girlbossing his way through a spooky story about a soldier being slowly hypnotized by a supernatural mythical representative of war and at the end he abruptly switches off his dramatic voice and returns to "snobby scholar" disses the account entirely and throws in a random but clearly gay snide remark about one of his coworkers for good measure and the tape clicks off after a dun-dun-DUN and at the end of it all youre just sat there completely baffled at this chad of an academic who is apparently so annoyed at the disorganization of his new position that he must mention it seven times per sentence (along with the side comments about that other case with the guy who was haunted by an immortal spider and ended up wrapped in spiderweb post-death TOTALLY COINCIDENTALLY) like "well i can sure use this in my research because it has lots of useful verified information in it and definitely does not exist just so a man can spout his poorly disguised homoerotic yearning out loud into an outdated device full of lo-fi charm"
