me when i redesign beta eternatus and adopt it as my own (made in MS Pain[t])
OKAY NOW THAT IT'S MY OWN, IM COUNTING THIS AS AN OC SHOWCASE (PT III) (PART 1 AND 2)
I'M NAMING IT OSSI'HADDI
so Ossi'haddi was once a gigantic Pokemon that ruled the Rhegaian seas before it died out somewhere in the prehistoric past, but it was revived by Tethe-Morte, the god of existence (also known as the Anchor of Existence)
Ossi'haddi is commonly known as the Lord of Corpses/Mortality, and is the mythical of the fossil pokemon (Ghost/Water that can use Dragon moves)
Some depict him as being under Tethe-Morte's jurisdiction or even being their equal
Some myths say he was once a human who died protecting his family so Tethe-Morte blessed him to become Ossi'haddi, other variants say that the identity was a curse (by Tethe-Morte ofc) because he did war crimes or some shit
unlike the other legendary/mythicals in Rhegaia Ossi'haddi isn't actually sapient and acts just like it did before; like a creature
Ossi-haddi can unfurl its "wing" bones because these were actually its large fins when it was still alive (think of mega gyarados fins)
i might draw Ossi'haddi better/professionally later
its really funny how Ossi'haddi was formerly beta eternatus because Tethe-Morte to an extent represents infinity
Ossi'haddi is Tethe-Morte's pet ig ("he dont bite i promise" "YES HE DO")
btw "boneform" is what Tethe-Morte calls the Fossil Pokemon while "Hayto" is the term people use
some dialogue about Ossi'haddi:
"Ah, Ossi'haddi. That was the name given to the largest boneform that I have ever ressurected - not by intention, of course - but it is interesting to see him swim around in his little waters. Why, do you intend to meet him, perhaps - even capture him yourself? I do warn you though, you were not the first, and will certainly not be the last, so I suggest you and your team prepare yourselves. After all, there are others who do plan on seeing you all again in the flesh." - Tethe-Morte
"Oh. Ossi-Haddi. He was the greatest Hayto ever found in history. I myself don't know that much about him, but people do worship him to this day, and he's known as the Lord of Corpses. Or Mortality, if you want to be less direct about it. Why are you asking?" - Brava
"Ossi-Haddi! Oh yes, of course I know about him! The greatest Hayto to ever exist, the Lord of Corpses! I battled him myself, and suffice to say, you already know who won. [laughs] He was angry about it, but what could he do? He was already out of energy after all, haha! Oh, but please, don't take my remarks to heart, he is NOT one to be underestimated - no, no, no! His fight was tough as it was glorious, and contrast to what other people say - he IS intelligent, not in a conversational way, of course, but he knows what he's capable of and he is NOT afraid to show you." - Verona Donna
"His design is interesting - you would think a creature as himself would be complex and full of little structures - but alas, he's the most simplest Hayto I've ever seen so far! That is not to say he is plain by himself, no, no, no - he's marvellous! I do understand if that's what you thought my opinion would've been, considering my elaborate designs, but I myself have been learning to take the phrase "simplicity is key" to heart, and I'm starting with him." - Verona Donna
"Ossi'haddi may look like a creature focused solely on survival, but I assure you, he has emotions of his own, no matter how hard they are to see due to his - admittedly - simple-mindedness. He was only focused on survival in the beginning, but over time, he has become a little sentimental, and, well - he's lonely. I've scoured the oceans for other fossils like him, but alas - all their spirits have already moved on, and he's the only one left. I have given him the option to do so as well, but he decided to stay, despite his feelings, for some reason." - Tethe-Morte

All right, fellow MCU fans
So, after seeing the Marvels today, it got me thinking. Now, you probably don't know who I am. But I do happen to be a writer. Not a very good one mind you (several people would say otherwise, but shush, give me my self-loathing) Phase 4 (and the current parts of 5) is not that great. So I want to rewrite the Multiverse Saga. Yes. The entire thing. Even though it's not finished.
Very long blocks of text below. It's really the only thing that keeps me organized. Please read it though if you are interested. It'll be split up into sections, for somewhat easy perusal.
Now, I know this is an ambitious project, and one not done. I am no stranger to things like this, see my own game/show I'm making. (This is the only time I'm going to mention it. But I am pretty proud of it) So, for my very small amount of sanity, I'm stopping it at The Marvels, and Loki season 2 (Oops, still not finished with it yet). And I wanted to ask people what they thought was lackluster, or mediocre. Not the Marvel I and many other people grew up on. I do understand that it was flawed before, but when I recently rewatched most of them, I found that my childhood love for them had blossomed into something new. I was 6 when the first Avengers came out. I learned how to shoot a bow because of Hawkeye in that movie. And I think it deserves better, especially after watching the Marvels.
Now, this means everything after Endgame. So from Black Widow to The Marvels in terms of the movies, and the Disney+ series from Wandavision to Loki Season 2. I have a feeling it's going to take me a second to get through the remaining 5 episodes of Loki S2. My family wants to watch it with me, and they're all decently busy... Anyways, that's 10 movies, and 9 series. Although I don't accept Secret Invasion. Like at all. Anyways.
I have yet to decide what I'm going to publish this on. Probably A03, just because that's easiest for me. And I can organize much easier. Do let me know what you think.
So, before I get into the problems I've identified, feel free to stop here, and reblog or ask me your problems with the aforementioned shows and movies. I'm talking writing or character problems, as we've seen in the series. I am a fan of the comics, but you can divert from that, or stick to them.
Oh, and if you say something like "Make it more queer", I am a raging bisexual enby. I will already be making it queer as fuck, and can be convinced to ship pretty much anyone, if I can get a good reasoning behind it. Minors should be shipped with only minors. That's one of my few rules, if you send anything to me. So yeah, I'm doing genderfluid Loki.
Thoughts on everything:
This is just here so that I don't get a ton of repeats. I'll go movies first, then the TV shows.
Black Widow (2021) - Honestly, this is too late of a movie. Natasha deserved this before Endgame or Infinity War came out. But release dates aside, Taskmaster needs more screentime, and a chance to show how menacing they are. Natasha also needs more time with her family, and the parents need to be fleshed out a bit more. Belova is far too smart to be tricked by the lady in the post-credit scene.
Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings (2021) - I don't have any major problems with this movie. The Great Protector, or the dragon, and the supernatural creature, I think he's called Dweller In Darkness, kinda felt a little blank, and the Dweller shouldn't have died, only been pushed back. And I don't like Katy that much. Trevor is much better comedic relief in my opinion.
Eternals (2021) - Oh boy, where do we start with this one? You know it's bad if I can't remember any of the main characters names besides Ikarus. And that's because I was laughing my ass off at him throwing himself into the sun. There was also the Celestial I think it was? Anyways that thing broke islands up, and then just became a massive statue, and like no one mentions it? I don't remember much else about this movie, even after having watched it like 3 times. Oh, and the Ebony Blade was shown off. I like that if they can do something fun with that.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) - Dr. Strange feels a little shoe-horned in. The whole sanctum being overtaken by snow was pretty clever, but Strange being a father figure to Peter is not super well established. Could be fixed with a couple of rewrites. Or Strange and Stark being together. Peter is a dumbass, and the reason for him starting the whole plot... is so dumb. I understand, teenagers can be stupid, hell, I go to public high school, but Peter's shown he's a lot smarter than this. But I do like the crossover (Dafoe as Green Goblin my beloved) and the fact that the other Spidermen get to say goodbye in one last movie. Anyways, Ned's wizard connections need to be elaborated on as well.
Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness (2022) - Alright, getting my biggest problem out of the way first. Wanda's corruption arc should have been shown. It should have been developed through the movie, and Wanda should have been with Strange and America. She can still be evil, and die after she realizes her actions, but this basically destroys the point of Wandavision. She was willing to say goodbye. Wanda has been a favorite of mine for years, and I read her comics religiously as a child. We need to see the power of the Scarlet Witch. What it did without Wanda. Her "No More Mutants" line sent chills down my spine the first time I read it. Sam Raimi directed this movie. Strange and Wanda should have had more horrific shit. And that one Strange with 3 eyes should have been the one from What If. We need horror in this. America also needs to be more fleshed out. I do love her, but we get like one scene of her being traumatized of basically growing up nowhere. Her moms get to stay though. I'm just going to ignore the last post-credit scene, because... that's setting something up I'm not sure of.
Thor: Love & Thunder (2022) - First up, Gorr has a great setup. He needed more screentime though. We need to see more of his god killing. They should rightfully be shitting their pants over this man. Thor leaving to save Sif was a good move, but that joke ruined the tension. She should have died there, proof of the god killer. Jane Foster is perfectly fine, and her arc is a lovely send-off. I would have loved some more stuff about the kids, especially Heimdall's. I don't even remember his name. He should have been shown doing something in Jane's return to Asgard, something that showed off his parentage. The meeting of the gods is a great scene, but there should have been people who spoke up, and then promptly getting thrown out, or even getting killed. Even more of a reason for Thor and crew to convince him. I think everything else is pretty good. Also Valkyrie is perfect in this movie. Bi queen. And her Loki knives are lovely.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) - I actually think this one just needs a couple of little tweaks. I understand why they couldn't have T'Challa show up in the spirit world, and Killmonger was great, but I still think something between the siblings would be good. Fuck, I love the funeral scene. It was a lovely sendoff to both T'Challa, and Chadwick. Namor seems a little rash though. Might just be the comics leaking through on that matter but I do like the Mayan inspirations in the movie!
Antman: Quantumania (2023) - I'm not really sure on this movie. I don't like Janet in this movie. She feels too secretive. She could have told them plenty, even lied that Kang had gone home. He'd gotten out somehow. Kang didn't seem scared enough of the others, but that might just be me thinking of that. Oh, and MODOK sucked. He shouldn't be a joke. But Darren could have done something else, because he is in there.
Guardians of The Galaxy V.3 (2023) - Perfection in every way. I'm not changing anything unless it involves getting everything I'm incorporating in. And the Christmas Special is also great.
The Marvels (2023) - Spoilers! Kamala needed more screentime, she just generally felt disconnected from the plot besides her bangle. And I also wanted a more menacing villain. That's been the problem with them recently. They don't make me think that they could actually beat them. I like everything else though. Flerkins were great as usual. I love these stupid creatures so much. That one scene was beautiful.
Now to the shows! These are going to be so much shorter.
Wandavision (2021) - I think this is good. No notes.
Loki S1 (2021) - Good, besides the Sylvie/Loki romance. They are siblings. I'm not sure if there's anything else that I really had a problem with. It's been a moment. Which is a shame. I love Loki (Also bi confirmation! I love it!)
The Falcon & Winter Soldier (2021) - I also think this is good, besides maybe having some problems with the villain. Bromance all the way.
What If...? (2021) - Also pretty good. Little self-contained story. I like the zombies.
Hawkeye (2021) - I also think this one's pretty well written. Macaroni is constantly referenced in my house. Lucky is also a pretty boy.
Moonknight (2022) - Honestly, god tier. Anyways, no one mentioned the stars literally turning in Egypt. But maybe it was just the people thinking that they were drunk as shit and seeing something.
Ms. Marvel (2022) - Second favorite being Moonknight. I also don't remember anything glaringly wrong.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law (2022) - Besides the tone of the show being inconsistent as shit, I think this show should have dove into some of the topics it brought up more. It just seemed a little surface level. Maybe a WWDITS style mockumentary would work better.
Secret Invasion (2023) - THIS ENTIRE SHOW SUCKS ASS. THIS WHOLE THING WAS DONE SO BADLY. I am not taking anything from this show
Loki S2 (2023) - Too distracted by another season 2 coming out, so I have yet to finish. I have heard it's good though. I've seen the first episode, and it's going pretty good so far.
Well, you made it to the bottom! Yay!
...This took me an hour to write. I did get the doc set up. And got a bit of an outline set up.

Hello I have baked cookies. For the sleepover. And I’ve packed ALL my sylvanians. Would you like to play toys with me?
Making you choose (/would you rather): high budget Loki spin-off movie and it Gets Him BUT it’s like an artsy A24 two and a half hour film that is a slog to get thru. Or, fun Thor stage musical with a great script, BUT they use the original actors rather than getting proper theatre actors who can sing and dance.
I forgot what questions r on the post. I’d like 2 know what chocolate bars/sweets ur buying as ur three for £1.20 :) assuming they did that in Scottish corner shops!
HELLO THANK YOU i would indeed... my LPS are sadly no longer with us but i have umm. [looks around] i have these lewis chessmen replicas i found in a charity shop. perfect
and this is a conundrum indeed... i mean on one hand. i've slogged. i can and do slog, frequently. how bad can it be. i have literally seen infinity war. but i am also tempted by the musical because. original cast. firstly, they may not be singers but several of them are specifically thespians, *and* they've done fight choreography, so, you know, two thirds of the way there. (maybe.) not completely catastrophic. secondly, and far more crucially, original cast means we can drag anthony hopkins back. we can put anthony hopkins on broadway. you thought you'd escaped marvel's Silly Time, old man? NO!! there's far worse in store!!!
but ultimately i feel like my poor earnest heart might have to go pretentious on this one. just as long as it also gets thor. no thor slander in my household. to paraphrase an interview quote the fandom has been passing around for over a decade, there is no Loki Understanding without Understanding Thor!!
okay i'm normal again. ummm. i'm pretty sure they did but that was never very notable to me bc my local shops were more of a small supermarket, spar-ish situation than real corner shops... i was very into skittles for a long time bc a) vegetarian child, no gelatine, still craves the unnatural colours, b) there is a sour version :}. in general i would eat sour sweets until i burnt my tongue. it breaks my heart that i can't eat lemons like tangerines without making my teeth hurt. these days you're more likely to find me plaiting strawberry laces, but they DO make vegetarian sour gummy sweets now (the specific thing child me was missing), they're just extortionate. £2.75 for a packet of candy kittens? in this economy???

Hi! not an assumption ask, but maybe it is, in some way, because I assume you might be able to help me find a video of bts of Avengers infinity war. I mean the video that the gifs in this post are from. https://www.tumblr.com/clintfbarton/176671924490/avengers-infinity-war-lokitom-hiddleston-bts?source=share I hope I can send a link through ask but I don't know. If I can't, then so be it. And my assumption about you is that you're a very cool person and you've got some truly extraordinary knowledge about Loki in the mcu and about those movies (the three good ones 2011-2013 of course, but maybe others too). From what you post and things you reblog, you strike me as someone who, in their, has been met with a lot of hostility from others but is still kind, despite those experiences. But, of course, I don't know you, so I may be wrong. Anyway, thanks and have a great rest of the day! 🖤💚
Hey! I'm afraid I won't be of much help here because I stopped keeping up with marvel as closely after TR but I remember when we got those released, mostly as pictures, and I've found these gif 1, gif 3 (be quick because marvel is taking down vids from YT), although I could have sworn I watched that interview when it came out but it's either not up anymore or I can't find it. The one I found was just a teeny tiny portion of it and not with the audio pictured in that gif but that's as far as that goes. I don't want to be digging in IW related content. (the ask's link for mobile users)
As for the assumption, that is so kind, thank you!💚🖤 Loki & the trilogy have been my special interest since 2011 so I'd like to think so haha My general mcu knowledge isn't anywhere near that as I've got my own post-tdw writing which I do prioritise but I have seen phases 1-3. I'm so glad you perceive me as such, I try my best not to be my negative experiences, even if they show sometimes.

🍁anon
hii 🍁anon!!!! been a few weeks since ive seen you around, hope you're doing well dude!
yeah it's been- it's been a rough week so far, but it's cool, it's fine, we'll vibe our way through this.
i've been working on several different things this week (none of main projects, (cries) but definitely fun ones). A god 6k-ish of the 9k was from things I'd written on paper months ago, and never got round to typing up, but I've done some extra bits on various other projects as well as adding to the typed-up-ones.
Just over 4k alone was written on a Shadowhunters fic that I will be introducing soon, featuring a rather precocious OC Warlock child, Magnus Bane who can't believe he's being forced to raise a smaller version of Raphael Santiago (he's blaming Catarina for this), and a lot of sass and glitter. (set during the second TMI book and with plans to go right through and into The Dark Artifices)
There's only just under 800 words on my 'Another Life' fic, which will also be introduced at some point, but it's a concept I've been working on for... two years? Before I knew fanfiction existed, actually, when I was writing a story on paper for fun, and is centered around a female Loki, who, when she dies in Infinity War, briefly meets the conciousness of the universe, who sends her to another universe (the canon one we're familiar with) just before the Battle of New York to see what she can fix. Going by the name Até (the Greek Goddess of Mischief, and mispronounced Arty by everyone), she attempts to stop the future she knows is coming, so she can live out the rest of her life in peace, but rapidly finds herself more and more attached to the far-better-off-than-they-were-in-canon Avengers. Oh, and she's partially merged with the Tesseract.
I've done a fair amount on my fic Cadre-Coparenting (I really need to start introducing these, don't I?), which is set in the Throne of Glass Universe, where Aurelia (the younger sister of Aelin) is sent to Doranelle by her parents as a child to learn to control her powers of death and darkness, and promptly gets adopted by Lorcan who most certainly is not triggered at all by the fact she had to wear iron cuffs as a child to stop her powers, and no, he's not ready to talk about his childhood. In other words, Maeve thought it was hilarious to make the Bloodsworn raise a child, and they all got slightly attached even through their more than slight incompetence.
I had fun writing some extra Empires Rise (Empires Fall), a Fourth Wing fic starring my OC Elyrion Foxe, who was raised in Tyrrendor, evacuated before the apostasy, and joined the Riders Quadrant to reconnect with her childhood best friend (and basically cousin at this point) Xaden Riorson, while evading detection from her father who explicitly forbid her being a Rider once the Marked Ones arrived. Add in her complicated birthright, a rather boisterous blue-daggertail, and a lot of secret operations, the entire thing gets a bit difficult.
The last two are just drabbles for the minute, both under 1k words, but might be fun to do at some point in the future - a loops fic for Harry Potter, featuring Hermione and Draco as best friend loopers, who loop in and out at various points in the timeline, and alternate between following canon, causing minor chaos, and strutting around Hogwarts in matching bejeweled robes playing trumpets. Look, they have to get their fun somewhere. This fic would likely be a non-linear set of drabbles and fun ideas for them to do (possibly through requests from readers), mixed with heart-breaking angst and trauma.
The other one is also a Harry Potter fic, but is a little more complicated than that. On the night that Lily and James die, the Aurors find another child in the forest outside the house, a toddler, really, who is taken back to Hogwarts by Dumbledore to raise. Lillian is raised in Hogwarts for her entire life, spending holidays with rotating staff members, while Dumbledore refuses to tell McGonagall why she couldn't have just gone to a foster family, why he refuses to let her near snakes or dark magic, and most importantly, why as the years go on, she starts resembles a certain student from the 1940s that Minerva hoped to never see again.
Thank you for your ask, that was quite long, but fun!

Loki's Genderfluidity in the MCU: A Theory
So I'm going to preface this by saying that generally my answers to any questions that are not answered by canon have two sides: why I think the writers didn't answer the question (or how they may have thought they answered the question), and my theory relating to the canon answer. Within these two sides there might be multiple reasons (i.e., Side one may have been caused by script cuts or homophobia at some level of writing/editing, and both could easily be the case simultaneously, as maybe the writers included it and the studio demanded a script cut at a certain point, etc.).
So as to why Loki has not been explicitly shown to be genderfluid in the MCU until (technically) a split-second shot of a TVA file, is probably more because of erasure/fluidphobia or a disinterest in incorporating his comic gender into his mainstream movie character at some level in the production process. Why the half-hearted "representation" was included in the show without anything more explicit was likely A) a continued fluidphobia or disinterest at some level, B) a distinct lack of understanding of what genderfluidity actually is, and therefore probably only placed in the file as a bit of foreshadowing to Sylvie's gender reveal, or C) a laziness and disinterest in doing any research whatsoever in either genderfluidity or the source material (Agent of Asgard, etc.). Likely a combination of these.
But that's boring and disheartening. So I'm going to ignore the IRL reasons why Loki's genderfluid rep fell flat, and focus on why Loki hasn't been shown to be genderfluid in the MCU until technically the show but not even really then.
I've seen theories that he hasn't figured this out about himself yet, and while that may be true (I didn't discover I'm genderfluid until I was about 22 or 23), I don't usually subscribe to that theory.
My genderfluidity (and that of other people I've met) tends to change between genders by the day, though occasionally I go multiple days in a row as the same gender, or my gender changes within a single day. However, I'm also human, and (as far as I'm aware) have an average human lifespan of less than a hundred years, or only a few years past a hundred if I'm lucky. So daily changes between genders is pretty reasonable, but even other real-life genderfluid people sometimes stay the same gender for whole months or years or even decades.
Loki, on the other hand, is not human. I don't know what the average Jotun lifespan is, but I think he's currently about 1500 years old, and Asgardians live about 5000 years, I believe. So it makes sense that things might be less permanent for him than they are for other people, and things that may change more quickly for humans may change more slowly for him.
Therefore, I think Loki in the MCU (ignoring for the sake of this that any inclusion or omission in media is a decision made by writers, in other words, pretending for a hot second that Loki is real in the context of his story) is genderfluid, and that he's aware that he's genderfluid throughout and before the events of the MCU. The reason he only presents as Tom Hiddleston's likeness, and is referred to as he/him and Thor's brother, is that it is currently a man several decades for him. (If this does not make sense to you grammatically, compare to how I describe days when I am a woman as woman days; days when I am a man as man days; likewise, Loki is having a man decade and a half.) At the least, his current period of being a man has lasted 12 years, from Thor (2011) until now (though, actually, Loki season 2 Loki is technically 2012 Loki, so maybe he's only had a man year? Which would make the original timeline Loki's period at least 5 years as a man. God, I hate time travel). This is assuming he was not a man before 2011 (consecutively; I don't think this is the only period he has been a man in his life) and would not have continued as a man following his death (if he died) in Infinity War. But (aside from very short flashbacks) this is the only period of time we see him, so he could conceivably have had periods of other genders. (And we don't know for sure that the flashbacks came after he learned how to shapeshift; maybe he wasn't a boy in those scenes, but was either not yet out or unable to make his body match his identity and so we as the viewers made incorrect assumptions about his gender.)
I also wonder if the moment we see from Sylvie's childhood, just before she's taken in, could have also been part of Loki's past. Either A) it is just after they both come out and begin socially transitioning (Sylvie as a transgirl, Loki as genderfluid and a girl at that moment), and Sylvie gets taken in for having a good heart but perceives the reason as being that she's a girl (see previous theory post), whereas Loki isn't playing Save Asgard and so there's no reason to arrest him in this moment (I think the game was less the main reason and more the last straw for Sylvie), or B) The entire memory, including the Save Asgard game but not the arrest, is shared by both Sylvie and Loki, and Sylvie was arrested for a different reason. The point is, Loki could have had a time as a child when he was a girl and learned to shapeshift so his appearance fit his inside feelings (or Frigga did it for him when he was really little to ease the dysphoria).

Hi! Thank you for agreeing to a matchup exchange! Could I please get a romantic male matchup for Bungo Stray Dogs, Jujitsu Kaisen, Sk8 the Infinity, and (only if it's not too much) Yuri!!! On Ice?
Pronouns: She/Her
Sexuality: Straight
Age: 20
Zodiac Sign: Gemini
MBTI: INFJ-A
Personality: I'm pretty quiet in social settings but if someone talks to me first, I can keep a conversation going. I will occasionally go up to someone to initial a conversation but not very often. With people that I'm close with, I'm very open and sarcastic. And I make a lot of self-depreciating jokes (even though I have a high self worth). I set very high standards for myself but I also usually meet those standards. People say I have a good poker face/a scary glare but I've never seen it. People also say I look like someone who "knows what they're doing".
Likes/Hobbies: Reading, writing, anime, video games, and listening to music (stuff like Hamilton, Panic! at the Disco and Offspring). I want to be a fantasy writer and I am currently studying an English major at university.
Dislikes: Spiders (deathly afraid of those), being forgotten when I'm gone, and disappointing those who I care about.
Looks: I'm 164cm (5'4") and have an average build (not too curvy but definitely not straight up and down). I have green eyes that everyone thinks are brown and curly/frizzy dark brown hair that is down to the middle of my back.
What I Look for in a Partner: Someone honest and caring. Someone who treats me the way I deserve to be treated. I don't really have a preference on appearance; personality is far more portent to me.
Hopefully I've put a good amount of useful information! I hope you have a lovely day and that life is treating you kindly!
~Eren
hi hi! sorry it took me so long to answer, ik i said it would be earlier but then life got insane. anyway, i hope these are okay!
Tumblr media
For BSD I'd match you with Ranpo Edogawa :p
Tumblr media
i think ranpo would be a good match just because there's so much you can teach each other. from how to be sociable at all times to how to calm tf down and not run your mouth *glares at ranpo* i think you two would be cute together
For JJK I'd match you with Satoru Gojo
Tumblr media
i just think this would be a power couple move, if that makes sense. but you'd be more behind the scenes in this one instead of out on the "battlefield". i think you two would get along so, so well but at the same time like not everyone would know how powerful you two are together because you both don't always show it unless you have to. he'd be pretty protective over you too, which is nice (at least for me).
For SK8 I'd match you with Kojiro Nanjo
Tumblr media
i think he's a good fit just because of the personality shpeel you gave; think kind of like cherry and him, but you're a little more self deprecating in your jokes. i think that would be a challenge for him because he wouldn't exactly know if you're joking or not, and he'd get nervous that his jokes offended you somehow. i very much think you could win a lot of insult wars that way.
And lastly, for Yuri!!! On Ice I'd match you with Victor Nikiforov :)
Tumblr media
the self deprecating jokes would have him on his knees trying to tell you how beautiful you are. i don't think he'd be too into anime because he doesn't have a ton of time to watch it and i think you'd spend time trying to get him into your interests so he stops focusing on everything else that runs him down or puts pressure on him. he's definitely the honest and caring personality type, but he's also egotistical and a bitch but hey. it's victor.
Tumblr media
i hope these were good! i'll send in my req for the exchange soon, i promise! <3

I don't think I've ever seen you post about any of the other projects Loki's been in. How do you feel about his movies? Which one(s) are your favorite?
First off, I'm sorry for letting this sit in my inbox collecting dust for three weeks, considering the fact that it's actually a great question and it caused me to really reflect on my thoughts about Loki in the MCU. Unfortunately, none of those thoughts got to a point where they were worthy of publication on the esteemed tumblr dot com, as I doubted they would pass the savage peer review of much more dedicated fans. They still won't.
Honestly, I'm scared, anon. People probably won't agree. But since you asked so nicely:
Thor - solid tragic backstory established with a certain flair. Loki is by far the most interesting thing about the whole movie. Not that I actually dislike it as a whole, I just don't think it's anything special in the context of the MCU. It's a fish out of water comedy interrupted regularly by a heartbreaking tale of loss of identity, self-hatred, and daddy issues. Which is a... choice? I guess? Kenneth Branagh's love of Shakespearean tragedy really shines through, is all I'm saying. Tom really established his brilliance right out of the gate, so that brings it to a solid 8/10 on my Loki-scale.
The Avengers - now... look. This movie has a lot of flaws. But I love it. I was in my mid-20s okay, I was exposed to it at a weird time in my life and I was obsessed. I watched it three times in cinemas, including once in New York City, while I was there on a study trip with uni. I probably watched it half a dozen times after that. And Loki was so much fun in this! Just the perfect villain for that movie. He was the Moment. I'm not even gonna get into the tragedy of the mind stone's influence fucking with him, Thor not realizing, lack of acknowledgement of the fact that he literally tried to commit suicide two movies ago, or the many implications of past torture by Thanos, I just like watching him be flamboyantly evil and smack people with his cane. The other stuff gives the story depth that I'm not actually sure it actually deserves. Still, 10/10
Thor: The Dark World - we can all agree that this movie is, uh, kinda meh. At least in my opinion. However, I think it's very important in terms of Loki's character development and the development of his relationship with Thor. For that reason alone, I admit to having watched it more than once. Also, he's such a little dramatic bitch in this, it's what we all deserve. 7/10.
Thor: Ragnarok - this is where some people will start throwing rocks at me. I really, really like this movie. I love Taika Waititi, I love his whimsical humour, I love how goddamn silly and lighthearted this thing is compared to The Dark World (and Avengers: Age of Ultron). Fuck grimdark angst, we have bright colours and fun. It just means the few emotional whammies hit all the harder too. I've heard people confidently call this movie a character assassination, in regards to Loki, and I really can't express in words how little I care. He is now Jeff Goldblum's trophy twink. No explanation needed. Let the guy be chaotic for once, he's earned it! 100/10.
Avengers: Infinity War - nope. Dont' wanna talk about it. -10000/10
Loki - well. I'll refer you to this edit of mine:
Tumblr media
This show is a general mess on so many fronts, but I still feel such fondness for it. And judging from the number of viewers it got, the world will watch just about anything if it has Loki in it, which, you know, valid. And would I be running a whole damn blog about it if I actively disliked it? No, I would not. 9/10.
There we go. Based on my personal rating, Thor: Ragnarok wins. The trophy twink can't lose.

I saw someone say "taylor's music is starting to feel like marvel, you have to listen to everything before to understand the story. Too much history" and i agree. As a fan for 13 years, i don't mind cause i know the story but i can see why the gp that don't listen to her often on her day to day don't get this album or even like it cause it is a LOT
So I think the difference between the two comes down to what you personally are looking for in media.
If you're looking for songs to relate to your own life, I think you can jump into TTPD without a problem in a way that you cannot jump into Marvel's newest media nowadays. Like if relatability what you're looking for, it feels more like pre Infinity War Marvel where like yeah you can have a bit of extra context if you have listened to the other stuff (insert the Marvel 'I recognise that reference meme here), but ultimately you can enjoy it on its own.
If you are listening to music for artistic reasons or to know Taylor (as an artist, person and/or celebrity) then yeah, I think it's hard to accurately do that without having listened to all of her work. But honestly? I would say that for all artists. Like for a minor example, a lot of people hate Unholy by Sam Smith and think it's just some cheating pop song. But if you have listened to what Sam has to say and their past music, they have made it clear that in many ways, it's the continuation of their song Him and very important for queer expression. And while I loved the song regardless (despite its unfortunate collab but that's another story), that definitely adds layers to it that made me love it more. The difference with Taylor, in my opinion, is that she has released far more than most artists do, is far more popular (as a person, celebrity and artist) nowadays than most artists ever get and (though this is not exclusive to her, more so a shift I've seen with the music industry in general) values the album over singles more than a lot of the current generation of music. But she's not the first this has happened to and won't be the last (siri, play Clara Bow lmao).
It's also interesting that you say about this being a reason people may not get/like the new album because I genuinely don't feel like you need much more context than what's in the album to understand it. Like perhaps because while I'd say I fall into both the above groups I'm definitely more in the first, but yeah I understood it from the first listen; I just think people are going to be divided on whether they relate or empathise with the story. And that's fine, like I have literally said that while I empathise and understand it, this story is not relatable to me (as someone who could have but didn't go down that path historically) and it's not my favourite execution from her, so of course I understand others feeling the same I do. Ultimately as a whole though, like I'm never going to criticise people for not getting or liking any piece of art so long as they aren't being a dick about it.

are you worried about the Wicked movie? I am.
I am also really confused why Dorothy was in the trailer!
I'm going to answer the second part of this ask first with a quote:
"I didn't realise this was to do with The Wizard of Oz! It clicked like 40 minutes in, and after that, I really started to enjoy it."
-some guy behind me during intermission of Wicked in September of 2023.
And I've seen a few comments along these lines in the YouTube comments on the trailer in the past week.
There are absolutely people out there who have no idea what Wicked is; or who just would not connect the mental dots of "green witch- Wicked Witch of the West- Wizard of Oz". Maybe people out there who haven't even seen or really heard of The Wizard of Oz. Especially younger people- I teach high school. The number of times I mention a book/film that my students have no idea what it is... nothing makes me feel older than when I have to explain to a 15 year-old what The Lion King is (true story. But the kid knew Seinfeld??)
I don't remember if this was something I read or heard someone say once, but someone once said/wrote "movie studios assume audiences are stupid".
That, and the fact it is a teaser trailer and did not appear to be Act/movie 1 specific, is my guess as to why Dorothy and co are glimpsed in the trailer. To make it very obvious to people that yes, this is connected to The Wizard of Oz.
As to am I worried about the movie?
Not... not really? At least, not in the way some people may be. I'm not worried about if they're going to make it in a way that I love, because the odds of that are very low. Jon Chu and I, to the best of my knowlege, do not share a brain. And I'm pretty easily able to just set the movie aside if I dislike it that much and ignore it- like a certain season of Scrubs or any Pirates of the Caribbean movie past #3, or all of the MCU after Endgame (actually, often including Endgame and Infinity War).
I'm also really hoping/excited for the idea that the movies will bring new life into the fandom.
What I am worried about, I suppose (not sure if worried is the right word), is people seeing the film who haven't seen the show; and then reading my fanfiction and being like "you're doing it wrong because the movie did it like this".
I'm assuming Ao3 and FFnet will add a separate category once the films are out, so that we can easily sort bookverse vs musicalverse vs movieverse, and any combination thereof that people want to read/write.
And while I'm not sure about the FF world, I did see this happen with Percy Jackson when the TV show came out- people complaining about the TV show getting things "wrong" because they were different from the movie- because they hadn't read the books.
(storytime: I once showed a class The Lion King- the 1994 version- as an end of term treat, and after the lesson a girl came up and asked me where the 'Morning Report' song was. And I realised- in horror- that her copy of the movie she'd grown up with was the special edition DVD they'd released in the early 2000s with that song inserted back in. As far as she was concerned, that was how the movie went and what I'd shown them was WRONG.)
Rationally, I know that most people won't be an issue- they'll just filter accordingly and read what they want to read. But I'm fully expecting there to be at least drops of that, because I've already had bits of it over the years; of people commenting on my fics that something is "wrong" because it wasn't like the book- even if everything is clearly labelled as being based on the musical and not the book.
So I'm not really worried, I'm just... pre-emptively tired.

Ramblings: Tom Holland's career
I'm going to do a couple of other posts about Insomniac's Spider-Man 2, I played it the week it came out and I've just been watching clips and videos and I loved it. But anyway, this is about Tom Holland.
So, I've been of the opinion that while Tom is a fantastic actor, he keeps choosing projects (or his agent is) that he's either too good for, or the writing for them is less than stellar.
So here is a list of his films that I've seen. I haven't seen The Crowded Room but I heard it wasn't good but that Tom was good in it, which isn't surprising, story of his life I think.
The Impossible Lucas Bennett - First live action film, he's fantastic in this, should have been nominated. Made me cry.
How I Live Now Isaac - Weird little movie but he's good in it. Also made me tear up.
In the Heart of the Sea Thomas Nickerson - I forget about this one but he's fine it, the movie is fine.
Captain America: Civil War Peter Parker / Spider-Man - His Spider-Man debut and though he has a small part, he's great. Great debut.
The Lost City of Z Jack Fawcett - He plays the older version of the son and it's sad what's implied that happens to them but he's fine in this. His little mustache though had me cackling.
Pilgrimage The Novice / Brother Diarmuid - This movie is interesting and good and he's very good in it. Apparently while filming this, he and Jon Bernthal were sending in their tapes for Spider-Man and The Punisher lol.
Spider-Man: Homecoming Peter Parker / Spider-Man - Great solo film, felt like a John Hughes movie wrapped in comic book pajamas. I really love his suit, I guess we call it the "Stark Suit" since in the games, that's what it's called.
The Current War Samuel Insull - I don't remember him in this movie at all.
Avengers: Infinity War - Loved him in this, still wish he got to interact with Steve more than he did. I don't like the Iron Spider suit that much, but his scene with the snap was great, they knew who they had and capitalized on it.
Avengers: Endgame - Not in this one as much as IW, but I liked the scene where he has the gauntlet and he says "Hi, I'm Peter Parker" and Carol is like "Hey Peter Parker..."
Spider-Man: Far From Home - I feel like people are really hard on this movie, I love it. It was my fave Spidey movie for a while. I really loved the whole Mysterio thing. There are some things I might have wanted done differently but I overall loved it. I also love his Upgraded Suit and I liked how he used his intelligence to fight at the end.
Spies in Disguise Walter Beckett - I thought this was cute, it was fun and he does a great job with voice acting.
Dolittle Jip - the movie was not good and his role is small, but the voice acting was fine.
Onward Ian Lightfoot - Cute movie, made me tear up, the voice acting was really good. Love the brother relationship in this.
The Devil All the Time Arvin Russell - This should have been a mini series but he's good in it.
Cherry Cherry - Not a good movie but he's fine. He does despair very well lol.
Chaos Walking Todd Hewitt - Not a good movie, lots of potential, might have worked better as a tv series since it's a book series. Also, should have been made in the boom of YA dystopian movies or maybe now thanks to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes coming out. But he's fine it.
Spider-Man: No Way Home - Great movie, really fun, the emotional aspects of this movie he does so well. Yes it sucks that none of the villains in this movie are HIS villains but it just goes to show that he needs to have his own Green Goblin, can you imagine the PTSD that would come from that?
Uncharted Nathan Drake - I actually very much like this movie, I watch it often on Netflix lol. It's probably a movie I've put on repeat. It's not great but it's not as bad as people were saying. I've only played maybe 2 hours of the first game so I'm not nostalgic lol. I think he's good in it, and it's the first time I looked at him and was like "oh... he's an adult" and was attracted to him lol. I think he's handsome but he always just skewed young to me but after this, I was like... oh that's a man.
A lot of his career is Spider-Man and maybe he doesn't like that anymore, maybe he feels like he's being stuck since his Non Spider-Man movies haven't been well received, but I don't think that's the case. I feel like he isn't stuck, he just needs to take this break he said he wanted to take, and reevaluate his choices.
And when he's ready, he needs to be in a Romantic Comedy (Rom-Com), like a pure Rom-Com. Also, let him keep his own accent, I know this man is British lol but I haven't seen him use his own accent in a movie in a while. He can be a college student, or a young adult just trying to find love. Put him and Zendaya in a rom-com together, capitalize more on their chemistry lol. But not really, I'm just kidding, I just couldn't think of anyone but Saoirse Ronan would be good!
Let him do a road trip brother movie with Jamie Bell, since they look so much alike. Or let him do an action drama with Jamie Bell lol. Or some kind of family drama movie with Jamie Bell. Do something with Jamie Bell.
I know he's going to be playing Fred Astaire soon, which that will be interesting. He'll be dancing, which we know he can do, and singing, which can he still do well? Not that Fred Astaire could sing so it doesn't really matter. But do a musical for fun, something light.
If he wants to do something gritty, then that's okay, oooooo he should do a horror film. That'd be interesting to see.
I think he needs to not worry about doing franchise things right now. Just let Spider-Man be the franchise, because Chaos Walking and Uncharted didn't turn out the way I guess they were hoping though I think Uncharted could get a sequel. Shoot for 2026 because then Tom will be 31 or so and people can stop complaining that he's too young.
But I just feel like, he's too talented to not act anymore. I want to see him in more things, I want to see him win. I think he wins as Peter Parker/Spider-Man even with his detractors, I like him a lot.
As for Spider-Man, after finishing Spider-Man 2 and how they handled the symbiote (which I have plenty to say about that too), I really want to see Tom Holland's Spidey tackle that storyline. They already set it up by Tom Hardy's Venom leaving behind a piece of the symbiote in Tom's world. Plus, with where we left him, he's pretty vulnerable I'd say. I think he would do it so well, I'm not sure how much more of Spider-Man he has in him, but I need at least one more trilogy from him *cries*. If the MCU and Sony were smart, which in some aspects, they're clearly not lol, they would give Tom another trilogy, or at least 4 or 5 more movies and in one of them, introduce Miles and then bam, a clear out for Tom to leave (they could even have another Peter from another universe appear who isn't Tom if they want to keep a Peter) and have Miles for a while.
But anyway, I wish the best for Tom Holland's career, he's too talented and he deserves some movie wins, that aren't Spider-Man. Rom Com I feel like is the best course corrector to do. Even if it just ends up on Hulu... like have ya'll seen Rye Lane?
But just some ramblings that I've had on my mind for a while.

For the MCU ask game:
13. Character you think deserves a spinoff
26. A random headcanon for a character of your choice
33. First MCU movie you watched on cinema
Hi! :-)
13. Character you think deserves a spinoff
There's a couple, I'd say. My gut answer is Janet and/or Hope Van Dyne. While things have improved for them (like undoing Janet's fridging for one), I still don't think the MCU has fully done right by them yet. They both deserve more time and development than they've gotten so far. There's a lot of potential there, especially if they go on an adventure with just the two of them. Another? Monica Rambeau. I know we're getting The Marvels soon, but I'm down with any excuse for more Monica, because she's great. She has such presence, I could watch her for hours.
26. A random headcanon for a character of your choice
Hmm, well, I don't know if this is too bland or obvious or what-have-you to have as a headcanon, but: Steve hates the cold. Even before the ice, given that he was a chronically ill asthmatic with "nervous trouble" living in Brooklyn, I think it makes sense that he wouldn't be the biggest fan of it to begin with. And after the ice? Forget it. I do also subscribe to the idea that Steve would run very warm post-serum, but I don't think that would be enough undo it completely, if at all. Like, taking away the physical discomfort of the cold is one thing, but it can really get in your head and... sit there. (Or maybe this is just my bouts with seasonal depression and such talking, heh.) And then there's summer to consider when running so warm would be an issue, because yeah, AC is a thing, but what if it made him too cold in the middle of the night and made him freak out. This is kinda getting away from me, but hopefully I'm making some kind of sense. Dude needs to retire to the world's most moderate climate possible, lol.
33. First MCU movie you watched on cinema
I saw Iron Man 2 opening weekend. The only other one I've seen in theaters is Infinity War. I'm, uh... not super timely when it comes to these things, hahaha.
Thanks for the ask!

Marvel Ask 7 - 10 - 13 - 15 - 20 - 30 for Kat?
7. rank their compatibility with the marvel teams: avengers, guardians of the galaxy, agents of shield, defenders, runaways
1. Avengers / 2. Defenders / 3. Runaways / 4. Guardians / 5. Shield!
10. what’s your oc’s fight song? (e.g., immigrant song for thor, just a girl for carol)
Radioactive is her official fight song for Endgame (there's a video and everything! and an old video and I've written some of that scene as a songfic) but also Fight Song by Rachel Platten is one of my go-to for her!
13. what’s a secret about your oc that they would never admit? feel free to be as angsty or as silly as you’d like!
It's not exactly a secret but Kat never ever talks about what happened when Aldrich Killian had her in Iron Man 3
15. if your oc has a costume/were to have a costume, what does it/would it look like? what colors? cape or no cape?
here's the official art! Kat's costume is inspired by the Iron Man suits but designed to be more compact and sleek as she relies more on her powers and less on technology (though there is still a tech element for sure), and her colours are purple and silver!
20. your oc wears the gauntlet (without any detrimental effects on their health) and gets one snap to wish for anything they want. what do they ask for?
Kat would wish Tony back to life in a heartbeat 0 hesitation 0 concerns about consequences
30. what movies or shows is your oc featured in?
movies: Iron Man 3, Winter Soldier, Age Of Ultron, Civil War, Homecoming, Infinity War, Endgame, Far From Home, Eternals, No Way Home, Multiverse Of Madness, Love And Thunder ( I haven't seen anything since so idk beyond that )
Shows: all of the Defenders shows, TFATWS, Hawkeye, maybe she-hulk

I finally saw vol 3 and have the ability to add to all the great discussions I've seen. First of all I loved seeing the team really fighting to help one of their own. It showed how far they have come. I also enjoyed how each character got an arc or at least there was an attempt at one. The music choices were fantastic and that one hallway fight scene was the trilogies best!
on the other side there was something about this movie that felt like two separate films that didn't quite mesh. You have everything with Rocket and then this almost subplot with Gamora that doesn't quite feel formed enough to really be called a plot. But it's there enough to count as something. I went into vol 3 hoping it would explore the brutality of what happened to Gamora. Not just her death but the fact that her abuser got to destroy so much of her life even after her death. He stole her childhood. He stole her freedom with a found family she helped start. He even stole her soul. If that wasn't bad enough his actions in Endgame prevented her from getting to reconnect with what was stolen in the way originally intended. Not a single other character in gotg got this kind of treatment and not a single one of them has any part of the story suggesting we should sympathize with the person who harmed them.
I know vol 3 needed to be Rocket's story and I respect that. But I think once they chose that type of death for her they needed to focus on her more not less, because as Peter said she formed the guardians. Looking back this is so true. She was the one who originally wanted to do the right thing in vol 1 even if it meant giving up her freedom. She's the one who genuinely loved having a purpose that was a life of serivce helping others. Endgame showed us Gamora had the same potential. She extended a hand to Nebula, went to take on her abuser and prevent further harm. It feels like there was a whole story here for Gamora that needed to be told after that and vol 3 did a decent job with some of it but, imo, made choices that undermined Gamora to conveniently make sure she didn't distract from everything going on. Which would have been fine if what happened with her was some minor incident. But she was killed and so much of vol 3 was about how your abuser shouldn't get to kill you after you have finally grasped hold of happiness and healing. I felt like there was a glaring problem where the film is screaming abusers don't get to win while a character whose abuser did get to win is standing right there and nobody is saying anything about it.
I did love the end though with Gamora seeming to get the thrill of what the guardians could accomplish together and she looked happier and lighter. Her final conversation with Groot was heartwarming. So it's not like I didn't see the good the film did. I really did enjoy it. But something isn't working for me. It also bugs me that I have run across some comments where people are cheering on the themes in vol 3 while also veering into making excuses for Gamora's death or saying she can no longer be accepted as family to the guardians. It feels like some disconnect is going on that's a little troubling.
i'm totally with you on all of this! there were gamora moments that were really great (i liked her last conversations with groot and peter a lot, in particular), but i definitely think her story merited more focus, especially after what happened in infinity war/endgame — and the fact that we didn't get that focus made the overall narrative feel incomplete to me. it makes a major character's arc as a whole feel disjointed, which makes it all wobble a bit for me, personal feelings about the choices made in infinity war/endgame aside.
and it really does make that "the abusers don't get to win" story gunn was going for here not quite feel like it hits, with the shadow of what happened to gamora hanging over the whole thing and no real focus given to addressing really much of anything there. also agreed with you on that.
all of these things contribute to me feeling that while vol 3 was a solid movie, there's some glaring stuff surrounding the handling of gamora's story holding it back.

what you mentioned about Rocket facing his abuser and how that could have been paralleled with Gamora is probably my only real grievance with vol 3. I think having the female lead be the only character who had her life stolen by her abuser when you've had many of the male characters get to face them and win while having family by their side or die willingly giving up their life for someone they love, is a problem. I was 100% expecting vol 3 to touch on this in relation to the narrative built around Rocket vs the narrative built around Gamora in IW. I've seen reviews saying The High Evolutionary is irredeemable and not sympathetic compared to other villains like Thanos and I agree. The issue is Gamora's death was used to help build the sympathetic Thanos narrative. Which isn't cool. I have a lot of love for vol 3 but space absolutely needed to be made to explore what happened to Gamora once the decision was made to have her die the way she did and come back the way she did.
Yup. I just feel like, for all of the good things this movie did, this is one thing they kind of dropped the ball on and it sucks that we are just never going to get any kind of resolution from marvel about this. Their framing of Thanos and his abuse on Gamora and Nebula is soooooooo different than how Gunn handled Rocket and his abuser, and I just think there was an opportunity for SOMEONE, ANYONE, at any point, even just in interviews or SOMETHING, to make some kind of statement so that maybe infinity war didn’t continue to be a prime example of abuse apologism that marvel continues to sign off on time and time again by doing what the fucking did and then just not saying shit. Like this would have been the PERFECT movie to fucking do it and in a general sense they DID do it, but as long as Gamora’s absolutely horrific death continues to be ignored after they essentially used her death as a way to make her abuser sympathetic, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I say this all from an audience point of view though. As far as the actual movie and characters go, I’m just glad Gamora was able to move on from this and be happy and live in a world where this could never even be a possibility of happening to her now, since her abuser is well and truly dead. I’ll just have to find a way to move forward and be content with that knowledge.

Wait haven't you watched Infinity War? :o Thor hits the Benatar in that movie after Thanos destroys his ship
{out of breath} Okay I know I'm not again on for about two weeks, but I didn't want to just let this sit, so I'm popping on to answer this, heh.
Oh, no, I have seen Infinity War! But I... have... no memory of that scene whatsoever. Welp... this is thoroughly embarrassing and awkward, heh. So... either my stress-ravaged, medication-addled, depression-affected memory strikes again, or.... more likely, actually... I just never saw that scene. I've only seen IW technically once, but certain scenes I've seen 10+ times, and other scenes I've never seen, heh. It's actually a frustrating and funny story...
So... when me and my dad went to try to watch IW on D.isn.ey+, the streaming service was giving us... Such Shit™. We saw the first about 1:30 to 2 minutes easily 10 times. Because we'd start it, it'd skip and be all sorts of buggy, and then at around the 1:30-2min mark, it'd freeze. And when we exited and started it again, it restarted from the beginning. We were about to give up, until my dad said, let's skip several minutes and see what happens. So we skipped 10 minutes in, and suddenly it worked. And we were so annoyed at having to watch the first couple minutes again and again and again that we thought you know what? It's fine. Let's just watch from here.
But then... at various points in the movie it would randomly start skipping? And omitting lines? Scenes were very hard to follow. And then it would freeze. We'd exit, press play again, and the timestamp often moved several minutes either forward or back from where we left off. This happened through the whole movie. So I've only seen it "once" but certain parts were omitted entirely and others I've seen 10-15 times haha.
So... it's possible that I basically saw IW but I just never saw the scene of Thor hitting the windshield. *long pause with cricket sounds* Yeah, I know, I have problems, hahaha. But that's the truth of my IW experience haha.
For the record, so that everyone is clear on how much I know about this and that, this is my viewing record of things I've seen and haven't seen...

Re-watch of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
I hope this clears some things up! D.isn.ey+ is honestly getting expensive for me to maintain, especially since they purposely forced me to choose a different subscription plan this month to raise my monthly price, which I did not appreciate at all. My financial situation has worsened recently, so if they're going to pull that crap, then I can't stay subscribed all year-round anymore. So I'd like to cancel my subscription for a while. So in the next month or two, I will be looking to watch everything on my "Watch Soon" list so that I can cancel my subscription until there's something else on the service that I want to see. But yeah, this is where I'm at right now. =)
