El flew to Santorini today which means Louis is probably going to LA as soon as he lands like he did after latam. IMO the album is already at the manufacturers and has been for months getting vinyl pressed.

Not sure that El has anything to do with Louis’ schedule these days, but if the album is in pressing, then Louis is probably getting ready for a single release and promo. Multiple signs point to this being in the works.

Lokerse is in Europe in 2 weeks, so he’ll be back before long.

“anti” is a label that sprung up around the time voltron aired, in response to people who shipped shiro with some of the paladins (shaladin). klance shippers hated that they had competition, so they made a reach worthy of elastigirl and claimed that any ship involving shiro and a paladin was pedophilia. they called themselves anti-pedophilia, or “anti” for short and began the process of driving content creators off the site because they didn’t agree on ships. in the dc fandom the label came to include “anti-incest”, usually regarding ships involving the batboys.

“antis” can usually be identified by their self-righteousness and toxicity. they like to send death threats to users, particularly artists, who ship anything that they deem “problematic”. the worst part is that their overuse of the terms is leading to a general lack of concern over the topics, which harms victims of actual pedophilia and/or sexual assault. 

i personally don’t like any of the ships that they’re against, but i’ve gotten enough anons in my inbox calling me a pedophile and telling me to kill myself because i ship damijon that i immediately unfollow anyone who professes themselves to be an anti. even if they don’t actively harass people who ship anything “problematic”, i won’t deal with it. that label holds enough of a reputation that they know what they’re getting into when they slap it in their blog description/about/byf.

My interview this morning went pretty well, I think?! The new principal is super nice and she seemed to like me, so that's good. The position is for a fifth grade teacher who's out on maternity leave...she already has a long term sub, but he just got a full time job somewhere else so they need to replace him. 😵 She said she'll let me know today if she's going to hire me. I'm so nervous. I really, really want this job...especially now that I know it's fifth grade (upper elementary is my fave). I saw my cooperating teacher and a bunch of my former coworkers and they were so happy to see me, giving me hugs, asking me why I was there. It would be amazing to be back with all of them. ❤️ Here's hoping.

What are your all time pet peeves when you read fics? OCs? Format? 1st povs?

FORMAT. Pretty much that’s it. If I read something that is OOC in a way I dislike, I just stop reading.

I typically don’t read first person at all- but I’ve come across a few fics that are so good I get over that.

So I guess it’s honestly just format and first person- but both are things I can get over if the fic is good enough.
