Alina sounds like a brainwashed woman who is convinced that her lifestyle is great! That wanting something more (idk. a throne and changing the world maybe) is sinful and unfitting of her.

Aleksander is the only one who thinks otherwise for her, though. Thank God, I mean!

He sought Alina out both to reclaim his powers and because he just wanted to see her.

Personally, in this scene only the Darkling makes sense. The others either want to feel good about themselves by threating him or want to convince him that "Hey, we're the good ones here. We know what we're doing, okay?" and his own ways are shit.

4. I was originally gonna do all of your Twisted ocs… but I need to at least try to sleep it’s like 3 AM 😭. Plus to me it’d be poetic for me since these four were the characters that were the most developed and I grew the most familiar with when I first discovered your page. With this I added how I drew their eyes… since I’m trying to practice with eye style variety. Technical details:

Nakoda: I’ve actually doodled him once in one of my sketchbooks before. And he was actually fairly easy to draw, I’ve had ocs that had similar hair to him before. And… I have plenty of ocs who are just as flirtatious as he is and have made the exact look I drew him with 😂

Billy: Other than Elias… he was the easiest to draw and figure out how he’d work in my style. I was at first worried about his hair since it was my first time drawing his kind of hairstyle and I’m not that used to drawing short hair. But it actually worked out. It also helped that he’s similar to one of my own giant ocs in terms of personality. Fun fact, to the point where I almost thought he had freckles… which is a trait on my oc… but he doesn’t so… 👌

Hi! Don't worry, I know it is an unusual ship and I'm always happy to answer asks like this!

So... As far as I know the ship was born in the italian fandom. The first fanfiction that has it in it was not so understandable (lots of people at the platform 9 3/4 and we see glimpses of children so we know Severus was with Lily Luna and they have children but we know nothing about them) but make the ship explode and I found it the first time in another ff so well written... That is still in my favourite.

Now, Lily Luna is basically an OC, you can make her how you want, so there is not a rule for her and the ship dynamic change as your Lily Luna change! But there are some common ground in every Severus/Lily Luna stories (expecially when there is not time travel involved and only "Severus lived") that I think explain, at least to me, the beauty of this ship.

First of all the fact that she is the niece of Lily Evans. That means things in Severus head, even if I must say he never see her as a replacement of the first Lily (in fact I like Lily being more Weasley-looked and Potter-character - my own Lily Luna, of course. Others can be different) but of course he feels guilty and worry about what other will think about this... He is mad. With himself.

Second, the age gap. He feels like an old pervert. He hates that. It's a thing funny to explore, to me. He is such touch starved that he can't help himself (you must note that in every fic I read and wrote is Lily who does the first move and Severus has to be persuaded, winned over because he is a stubborn old bat and doesn't want to be the attracted to her. But he is. Oh, he is...) but sure he try to resist everything.

Third, Harry Potter! I like a lot the dynamic about Harry finding out and his reaction and Severus reaction and Lily who, in my mind, smile and enjoy the chaos (okay I admit again this is my Lily Luna, others can do other things and be worried about the mess).

... I suppose this is it? I mean. I also write time travel AU fic where Severus and Lily have the same age (or even where she is older, lol) and in that case I like to explore how Severus feelings and crush shifted between the two Lily... Harry may or may not be present (I wrote both "Lily Luna in the past" and "Severus in the future" type of fics) so this change, and in that case I suppose the most popular Severus reaction about Lily relatives (he has to discover it at some point) is "OMG how can I like someone related to James fucking Potter?!?!?!", expecially because as I said my Lily is unhinged and Potter-coded so Severus starts to see similarities in them and he is desperate.

Well, every scenarios has is beauty for them, to me.

So this is it! 🥰 I hope I explain it well! And then, for now I have only one fic in english on my ao3 (with the Severus live and age gap and of course the unhinged Lily) and you can check it, link is on my tumblr profile, but maybe in the future I will translate more (as I said I am writing both Lily in the past and Severus in the future type of fics). About other english stories I read... Only one story is valid, "absolution from my sins" by duchessas (very different Lily from mine) that is still on going but a gem👌(not to insult other english stories on ao3 but I found them more "p0rn without pl0t" type of fic... I mean you can be into this but I like their dynamic, I need plot). Every other stories I read are on EFP - the italian site for fanfiction - and in italian of course, but if you are curios the first beautiful story I read was "Una casa alla fine del mondo" by Dira_ On ao3 you can also find cyrillic stories but I know nothing about these because I don't read cyrillic, but it is fun to me to think the ship is popular in italian and in russian fandom 😂 And of course you will find some italian stories that was crossposted between EFP and ao3 (the last ones are all mine, the last time I checked :v).

100% agreed re Adam's gesture, I too thought about the little seed joke!! And also I'm not sure I'd say their interactions are warming up, but they do seem to fall into reassuring, familiar patterns 🥲💕 Also the fact that Adam basically ran to the prison since Morgane's not even done with her check-in that he shows up in the parlor 🥹🥹

Oh gosh I didn't notice the ginormous parallel between Céline and Adam's date, to me Céline's arc felt like something exactly similar that happens in Engrenages, but I love how it applies to Adam and Roxane (hopefully not with the same outcome though?)

I don't think it was too much at all, considering how Adam's previous words (ep 1 flashback) literally drove Morgane to quit and disappear for six months, and it probably would've lasted forever if it wasn't for this providential case. And I think he's aware of that, aware of his mistake, so this is his attempt at making up for what he said ("ça voulait rien dire") which obviously hurt her. I think she needed to hear that it actually meant something. And also for him it's perhaps the first time he's vocalizing out loud that he actually cares about Morgane, and that she's not just a pain in the ass. (Okay actually he said it before. It's just that he told her the exact opposite an hour later so the message may have gotten a bit confused lol).

ALSO HE TOLD HER THAT LOSING HER WAS HIS BIGGEST REGRET IN LIFE AND NOW I CAN DIE IN PEACE THANK YOU VERY MUCH 😱🥹😭⚰️

And I don't think this is going to end all their misunderstandings, because he instantly tempers it with the words "collègue" et "amie". After how hard he broke her heart, Morgane is probably done living on false hopes, so she's not gonna try and read more in those words than what he actually said. And what he said was I care about you as a friend (sure Jan).

So for me they're both still in the dark re each other's feelings. They probably picked up on the fact that they do not hate each other (well, Adam probably thinks she does now, but that she actually didn't when he kissed her lol), but they most certainly have no idea of how deep they're actually pining for the other's affection 💔

Also this whole scene 😘😘😘 And the five feet apart shot, the way they slowly walk towards each other, et leurs pas sont absolument SYNCHRONES ???? No wonder it's literally the first thing I giffed from that new season 😭❤️

That said, Not that they appear to need the propaganda, but for Venom I'm pulling for Venom/Eddie/Ann/Dan Because Dan was actually delightful in that first film. Everyone involved in like non-equilateral polycules or whatever (I don't know if there's a better term for that) should be so lucky as to have a metamor as chill as Dan.

Venom and Eddie ofc very much have the whole Star-Crossed soulmates thing going on, and unlike the carnage mess, they genuinely come to like each other. There's a whole lot of stuff in the comics in particular that frame their partnership as a marriage that they choose. Up to an including them maybe sort of procreating together. XD

And that first venom film was intentionally pitched as a Valentine's Day film somewhat facetiously but very much with Eddie and Venom being the odd couple that turns it into a rom-com. XD

Eddie obviously still loves Anne and is working through that. Anne still loves Eddie but has obviously chosen not to be with him because it wasn't healthy the way that they were doing it, pre Venom. But after the events of the first film, it is very much implied that they are coming around to figuring out how to still be consistently in each other's lives, even if they are choosing not to be actively romantically engaged at that time.

Venom thinks Anne is great, is very fond, and is perpetually encouraging Eddie to try to get back with Anne

In the first film, Anne has to host Venom temporarily, and in order to transfer venom back to Eddie, venom!Anne kisses Eddie, and Anne insists it was Venom that was in control and made the transition happen that way, but I think Venom implies it was Anne who wanted it.

And then Dan is Ann's new partner, and he takes all of the weird behavior Eddie exhibits in stride and is very kind and compassionate to him, and helps him through scary medical stuff, and is just very very unflappable, and does not appear to be exhibiting like jealousy? So much as sympathy for the position that Eddie is in, compassion for him as a human, and compassion for him as someone who matters to Anne.

It's beautiful and surprisingly goddamn wholesome for a movie about a goo monster from space that possesses people's bodies and eats people's heads and makes poop jokes. 👍👌

In the wake of Vecna's victory, Hawkins had been left in literal shambles with homes and businesses being reduced to rubble if not completely swallowed up whole by the earth. The devastation was only made worse when the amount of dead and missing only seemed to rise with each passing day. Families torn apart left and right. It was a mess that no amount of community service would be able to fix up and stitch back together yet Steve found himself volunteering for the effort anyway. It felt like the least he could do since failing to prevent the tragedy in the first place.

The job he was assigned involved a great deal of physical exertion, which was fine with Steve. He had a strong endurance and a capable body that could handle some of the more heavy lifting. The worst of the destruction was downtown Hawkins where the gates had seemingly collided and caused the most damage. Somehow the public library appeared to escape the worst of it with only minor structural damage but the inside was a mess of fallen bookcases, shattered windows, and overturned desks and tables. That all needed to be cleaned up before this place could be functional again.

With a group of other able-bodied volunteers, Steve set to work near the back of the building. He spent literal hours lifting fallen bookcases to their upright position and moving the damaged ones that would need to be replaced to another area of the library. He helped to pick up books that were littering nearly every inch of the floor. He even helped with some organization. By the time he finally got back to Nancy's, whose house was still acting as a safe house for everyone, his back and shoulders were begging for some kind of relief as his muscles burned and ached with a fury.

"Every inch of me hurts." He complains to Nancy as he rubs at a sore spot on his shoulder. "Literally everything: My neck, my back, my goddamn shoulders. I did so much lifting and dragging today and it still looked like a bomb went off in that place." It wasn't fair, he knew, because she had also thrown herself into the whole clean-up effort. Likely she was given something less physically taxing than him but that didn't mean her day had been any easier to handle. Especially since they both knew things would only get worse from here. "Sorry. It's just... It's been a day."

Shaking his head dismissively, he breathes out a long sigh before pushing himself up from the La-Z-Boy he had settled into. He was thinking about taking the iciest shower in existence to ease the burning ache in his muscles when he's promptly pushed back down into the chair by Nancy. She had a familiar look in her eyes, similar to the one from the night when she had held him after his nightmare. She took care of him then and she appeared determined to take care of him now.

"Nance, you don't-- Oh." Steve had been ready to protest that she didn't need to take care of him. That he would be okay and she could just take the rest of her night to relax. As she moves around to the back of the chair and starts working the tension out of his shoulders with gentle hands though, he drops that train of thought because it feels incredibly nice. A million times better than anything a cold water shower might've done for him and his aching muscles.

Instead he settles more comfortably into the La-Z-Boy and allows Nancy to work her magic. He could feel the tension start to lift from his shoulders as the muscles relax from the strain he put on them today. Breathing softly, he tilts his head back to look up at her, a small smile gracing his lips. "You know, if the journalism thing doesn't work out for some reason, you'd make a hell of a masseuse."

Thank you very much, I'm really in love with them, but i want a healthy way out of this mess and yeah, what is the better way to cure your addiction if not to make a physical confirmation of it.

If it works, the next one is the Satan cut-out - I'm not ready to have Levi's abs in the place where my grandma might see them, too much for my heart (and hers, but who knows, maybe she'll like it).

Btw I can't understand the work schedule of the places where I can order that damned cut-out (they all have the not-holiday one on their websites, which is not helpful at all), so I've choosen the easiest way out👌

Hey, feel free to not answer to this if the asks stopped, but I just ran into it and I wanted to say shout out to you for dealing with that stuff in the most calm and logical way fr. I struggle to see any hate, negativity or even misinformation on your end that would "justify" all the load of whiny asks you got.

I admire how you analyze him in an unbiased way. I'm sorry you had to deal with the biased fans tho. To my understanding you were pointing out flaws on a flawed character and ACTUALLY treating him equally to everyone else in the game: everyone is bad, everyone has traumas, everyone has unhealthy coping mechanisms, and they have their right to have them. Yet everyone can still have good moments, good intentions and redemption. Everyone. Even Yui has her bad moments when she's fed up. And if you look into each one of the boys, every single one has some good traits to them, despite the big load of bullshit they carry due to their past trauma.

Tbh if people can't stand seeing their fav being "attacked" (which, in this case, was literally him being called out for being as flawed as everyone else, as opposed to the perfect man they see him as), they should be the ones leaving the blog or blocking you, and problem solved. If everyone can have their opinions, that should include different ones too. You weren't harming anyone directly, as 2D characters are not real people. People who get comfort from these characters can chose not to engage in these arguments, and they shouldn't if they can't handle the fact that, just like they won't change their mind, people who disagree with them most likely won't either.

People are not perfect. Characters are not made out of strengths only. Everyone is flawed, that is a reality. If anything, it's their flaws what makes their strengths shine more, but that's no reason to disregard them.

My blog’s main content (apart from shitposting sharing artworks and reposting) has a lot to do with analyzing the mindset of characters. (mainly using Jungian functions 🙌). They actually have a community for this category, and in that community, if one dares to reason while wearing the idolism lens… The others might or might not ̶s̶k̶i̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶p̶e̶r̶s̶o̶n̶ ̶a̶l̶i̶v̶e̶ correct that person (or sigh “not another kin/ stereo - typer.”) and it could sound brutal/ offensive to the sensitive ears, though it’s not 😬. I just learnt that from them. (Pretty out of topic but… i always thought “analyzation” is involved with logical reasoning. And logical reasoning doesn’t involve favoritism or sentimental values. Otherwise the action couldn’t be called “analyzation” or “involving logical reasoning” or “objective”. => I’m wondering if there’s anyone “analyze” things in a biased way and could that be called “analyzing”.
