oh, also. i didn't tell you guys about the mitski concert!!! it was so fucking spectacular, refreshing, and unforgettable. the tliiasaw tour was my second time seeing her live and god, i'm so, so, so happy i got to go to berlin and enjoy this performance because that's what it was: an artistic performance, a spectacle, a transcendent experience, to be honest. and i don't mean it in a "god, i love mitski, she's soooo good" way. the musical setting (gosh, the band was so fucking exceptional!), the scenography, the illumination, the choreography, the vocals… combined together, they all created an immersive experience, as if i was sitting and enjoying a theatrical production rather than an indie-pop concert. guys, it was just so fucking mind-blowing, especially the new musical arrangements for the old songs. they sounded funky and familiar but unique at the same time. you could FEEL the pure joy of making music, performing, and just… mitski's happiness and contentment of being on stage, on her own terms. i hope that the rest of the tour will continue to make everyone on the team feel satisfied with their work and that they will treat themselves to a big, nice break, because they truly deserve it!!

I find it absolutely fascinating how when I was younger and objectively the target demographic for the first Trolls movie I was so adamant on "I'm a big girl now, I'm too mature to watch this, this movie is for babies and I Am Not A Baby so I can't watch it" (Even though I desperately wanted to and eventually tricked myself into watching the whole movie through clips on YouTube) and now here I am, legally allowed to drink and on my way to getting a driver's liscense, and not only have I spent my hard earned money I got from My Job for tickets to see Band Together at the movie theater, but am also actively getting brainrot over it. What is going ON

Like a completely normal adult person, after watching the new trolls movie, I obsessively started putting together the brothers' backstory, the deeper reasons for their separation as well as how that all took place without disregarding the fact that they were trapped in the troll tree, which of course evolved into a fic in (forever) progress... yeah

Anyway, even though they aren't actively in the story much, i needed to design the parents, so uh meet Rosiepuff's daughter, Tulip, and her husband Branch.

I designed them based on the brothers' adult looks and in Tulip's case also on her mom's.

[ID: A mostly cool colored, digital three page comic of teen Gojo Satoru talking to young Tsumiki Fushiguro. Page one: Gojo makes a sandwich for Tsumiki who's leaning on the kitchen island. Tsumiki says "Thanks for the snacks, dad" and Gojo responds "No problem, Tsumi." In the next panel Gojo complains "Man... I wish Megumi didn't hate me so much. At least you call me dad..." Tsumiki comments "Megumi does that too, though?" In the third panel, Gojo activates his Six Eyes like a flashlight and yells "When!? Where!? Do you have it on camera!?" to a surprised Tsumiki. Page two: Tsumiki thinks about the various times Megumi has called Gojo 'dad,' including when Gojo gave them a bad hair cut, when the divine dogs bit Gojo, when Gojo made soup, and lastly when Megumi asked Tsumiki to ask Gojo to make snacks which is all represented in blue tinted drawings. In the last panel she has a devious smile and is labeled "8 yr old who just realized how funny she can be" Page three: Tsumiki cheerfully says to a gleeful Gojo "In your dreams!" The second panel shows them zoomed out with a lighting strike going through Gojo's shattered heart while Tsumiki has a cat like smile. In the third panel with a light orange background, Tsumiki is smiling while Megumi comes up behind her and asks "Why's dad crying?" /End ID]
