Phoenix: In the trilogy era, yes. He trusts people, but believes that trust has to be built on pursuing justice and always accepting the harsh reality. He'd be sad about it, but a narc nonetheless. In his Beanix era he's making his money through "totally legal gambling" and on the hunt for questionably legal evidence so I have no doubt in my mind there's a pot farm under the WAA for supplemental income. He gives up his narc ways and for that I salute him

Apollo: If I were to pick a single member of this cast who is NOT invited to the rotation it would be him. He had zero hesitation throwing Kristoph to the wolves after working for him for years so I know he has absolutely zero qualms about ratting out his friends or coworkers. Loyalty means nothing in the eyes of justice and it means nothing to him. He's a narc.

Athena: She's gonna lecture you and look all sad about it, but she's no snitch. She's been through the rounds with Simon so she gets it. Having to know you hurt her feelings is enough of a punishment in her eyes

I hope this is okay to ask but I’m pretty desperate and googling stuff has failed me, so do you or one of your followers have recommendations on how to deal with the BO that comes with taking testosterone? I never had BO that couldn’t just be managed by showering enough and putting on just any deodorant but now that I’m taking T I sweat a lot and I smell bad and I nothing I do seems to fix it. My boss has politely mentioned it several times now despite all my effort and it’s so mortifying and embarrassing.

Things I’ve tried and am currently doing include so many different deodorants which I bring to work and reapply, putting baking powder in my shoes, on top of general basic hygiene. But none of it seems to make a dent and it doesn’t help that I can’t really change clothes or shoes throughout the day. I have to wear closed toed shoes and a lab coat and my job is pretty active, plus it’s 10 minutes walk from the parking lot and it’s over 100F or 40 C right now so when I arrive at work I’m already pouring sweat. I also have a large chest so it all gets under my bra and soaks into it and by the end of the day the bottom part of my bra reeks.

I know some ocasional BO on a busy day can’t be helped but none of the other people at work including other male coworkers seem to have the same issue at all, so there’s got to be a solution but I haven’t found it. Im thinking of trying antiperspirants but I also know I need to sweat and I would rather not put my health at risk. So if anyone has something that works for them please let me know bc im really desperate here.

First I want to say: you're not doing anything wrong. You probably just sweat more than some other folks, and that's not your fault, and you shouldn't feel bad about it. I'm gonna give you some ideas to try if you haven't yet, but I don't know how much you've already tried, and it sounds like you've been through a lot already.

I also have always had terrible BO, and the only thing that helped at all pre-T was "prescription strength" deodorant. I honestly have had less of an issue since starting T, weirdly enough, but part of that is also that I physically cannot stand to shower any less frequently than every single morning (not necessarily a good thing lol), and I also started using antibacterial products on my armpits when I shower.

Currently I use benzoyl peroxide body wash on my armpits, which can be drying, but it hasn't caused me issues so far (just look for Panoxyl, other brands have caused irritation for me and my partner both). I used Betadine surgical scrub before that for a bit (you collect weird shit when you work with horses 🤷‍♂️) and that worked well, too- plus it's less likely to irritate skin.

I also find that certain shirts cause me to sweat there more, and those also tend to be the more form-fitting shirts that get up into my armpits. That skin def needs to breathe.

My partner has had trouble with feet/shoes in the past, and he's used cedar shoeforms to mitigate that (cedar is also antibacterial!). He also makes sure any shoes he gets are breathable (not leather), and if they are leather, he gives them at least a day or two between wears. Probably good practice if you notice any kind of smell on any of your shoes.

You mention baking powder, and I'm not sure if you meant baking soda and just mixed them up (which I do all the time lmao) but just in case: if you are using baking powder, the one you want is baking soda.

I don't have much advice for chest sweat, except that you may want to consider bringing an extra bra (and maybe an extra pair of socks if you're noticing it before the end of the day) to change into midway through the day. You can also look for more breathable fabrics in general, especially athletic-wear, which is already designed to help wick sweat and mitigate those issues.

Lastly, I want to stress again that you're not doing anything wrong. Some people have more trouble with this than others, and if you're really struggling in a way nobody around you is, it may be that you've got something going on in your body that they don't have to deal with. This could be a medical thing as well (like acne!!), and there's no shame in seeking medical solutions for it. Talk to your doctor if you can; it sounds like it's causing you distress, and you deserve to be comfortable.

You know I have come to the realization that this is a thing on which I would like to be clear, as a reasonably prolific writer of fanfic with a range of readers who all have very different levels of familiarity with the various canons I have dabbled in: I love a lot of things about [ insert canon here ] and I definitely DO have certain personal pet peeves in regards to "yeah this person definitely didn't read/watch/even-briefly-skim anything outside of fandom" interpretations that I find particularly slanderous or are just Not My Vibe or things like that which I personally just can't get into or enjoy. But also, fuck it, canon is a suggestion and fandom's only actual "rules" are "try not to be an entitled prick or actively hateful", as far as I'm concerned. No, no one has to do the homework just to write/draw/meta/post about something they're getting something out of. I personally am too dang old to do any more of the homework than I want to and I am sure as heck not gonna hold anyone else to that standard either.

Imo there is just no reason whatsoever to ever be upset about MORE people getting involved in the fun thing and enjoying themselves with it, especially when we can all zero-effort back-button out of anything we don’t like. I don't care if they're wrong about [ insert character here ]!! I mean, I do, I very much do, it makes my 'tisms personally insane, but unless someone's wrong in like a hateful/sexist/racist/bigoted way, that's their business, not anybody else's! Let 'em cook, people! We don't get better content in our fandoms by getting publicly judgy about and way too publicly INVESTED in how other people in it have fun. Actually, all we get that way is LESS content. Like so, so much less.

Look, it's a process, I'm personally still working on it myself. There's def stuff that bothers or pet-peeves me, and stuff I just gotta skate past without engaging. I just think keeping a little more perspective helps, in these situations.

Also, not telling people things like "hey if you don't read literal DECADES' worth of MULTIPLE monthly-release comics and all the relevant crossovers and events/watch every single episode and movie released since the seventies/listen to all the bonus episodes of this already-over-one-hundred-hours podcast, you don't belong here" helps. first of all, azzi shows up to the match in a sweater and p shows up (looking very gay girlfriend coded) may i add in a purple button up and some cargos. there's a few instances where we kinda catch p and a chatting and having a good time. more p than azzi talking we already know. the vibe they give if you walked past them is oh they're such a cute couple! so attractive! and oh baby they are wearing their relationship like a shirt. you can feel the love young and the happiness in the air the way they interact. in one video, azzi is asking p (if i'm reading lips correctly) who won gold. to which paige responds im not sure. just a cute little moment. another small little cute moment....p holding azzi's food while she eats. she just :( she knew:( i love them sue me. p also has a very cute moment where she's all smiley with her phone and she taps azzi on the shoulder to probably tell her stupid little joke. and the way she look so happy to be looking at azzi :( her eyes search her face in a way and yes she's just telling a joke but it gives every time she looks at azzi she takes her all in, like she's a breath of fresh air. maybe im just over reading it but it's such a sweet moment between them. even though azzi's pretty checked out and just nods at p lololol. princess unfortunately gets so hot she takes off her sweater and then it makes me hot- oh who said that. anyways gentlewoman p's senses are def tingling cause she can't give her her jacket or do anything to make azzi feel better. she's like damn i brought my girl to this match and she can't ask for jacket cause she's hot and not cold 😑. now this is where i say the us open showed a lot about their dynamic....azzi seems pretty uncomfortable and is obviously hot. gentlewoman p steps up and decides yeahhhh this isn't gonna work. she literally does everything possible to make azzi feel better. she reaches her hands out to azzi to hold, she lets azzi lean her head on her shoulder, she literally gives her body to azzi so she can be comfortable. i sob and die on the floor. that's where their dynamic plays a part again. the way p knows immediately how to help azzi and make her feel better when she's clearly going through it. i think she's set out her whole life to be the best gf to her azzi. i'm tearing up right this no joke. also i'm listening to daniel caesar that's prob why. in clips ive seen, azzi pretty much spent this whole game either hot or uncomfortable. i know p's like damn. wanted this to be nice for my girl :(. there's an interesting moment and it's truly my favorite moment of the whole us open. azzi is very obv hot and judging by her body language she wants to leave. she seems pouty and gets close to p to whisper something to her. mind u PAIGE HAS ALLLL POINTS OF CONTACT. she's got her hand on azzi's leg, her shoulders pressed up against azzi's (she's prob the reason azzis so damn hot), and she leans down to listen to what azzi is saying. MAKE IT STOPPPPPPP. she could've listened to azzi from afar and just looked straight the match. but no. she's so soft and an active listener to whatever her girl might need. so much so she leans down, takes her eyes off the match, and listens to what azzi is saying. yall already know what im gonna say DYNAMIC!! it seems like now that azzi is not feeling that well she slips into this headspace where she just wants p to take care of her. she's all soft spoken, she's leaning her body into paige, and probably whispering that she wants to get the fuck outta thereeee. but she's safe with p she knows that :(. like yall are not listening to me. she knows p will take care of her and she knows anytime she's upset paige will be there and will keep her safe and make sure she's taken care of. i know what you're thinking. gabi it's literally just a video. but watching their body language. the way p gets so close to azzi, almost like she wants to kiss her head. it almost seems like she whispers to az just to give her a few more minutes and she'll take her home and let her lay in bed with the fan on. oh yall thought that was it? i think being so cramped in the chairs starts to hurt azzi's knee so she moves down a seat to stretch her leg out. (i know p was heartbroken). hence previously i think the reason p had her hand on azzi's knee/leg earlier was because she knew her knee was bothering her and was probably massaging it. I FUCKED DIED. the trust azzi obv has in p cause i would've been like bitch fuck u get me the hell out of here, but they stay and watch coco win and they're all smiley and happy and high fiving people. truly giving the peoples couple fr fr. and they are. the people's couple even gets to meet the coco guaff. so very nations couple of them. i just love it. that pic is so we're gonna put that on our mantel when we have our own house one day coded. and i'm completely over it.

day 2: flicked up pazzi and azzi neon outfit

i'm combining these two because they're not as long as the first one and not as many moments to dissect unfortunately. we were literally fucked by everyone and really only have pics to go off of. i do have a few little video moments.

first of all, holy power couple this day. the way they look like the most lesbian aunties to ever exist. i would totally go over to their house and feel completely safe. their house definitely smells like lavender and their guest rooms has super soft and clean sheets. that's what their giving this whole day. pls adopt me pazzi i'll clean whatever u need me too. they have a little carpet moment and take power couple photos. p and azzi again, have the biggest fucking grins on their face. they literally seem so freaking happy this trip :(. it's like oozing from them. paige looks amazing, azzi looks amazing. i know paige was sooooo geeked this day looking at azzi and the same for azzi. they look incredible. p has her digital camera a lot and from what she posted on insta, azzi was taking a lot of pictures for her :). certified girlfriend photographer azzi fudd btw. we also get the beautiful selfie paige took on her camera. 😍😍. like that's a beautiful couple. if i didn't know them i would wanna be friends with them immediately and have them tell me their whole love story. we get a cute little moment in the stands where p is putting back her camera in her little bag and a goes to help her out. little helpful princess she's cute. i really wish we could've gotten more azzi this day she seemed so full of happiness and so soft with p this day. u can tell by the smiles on their faces this day it's A LOT less hot and more comfortable for azzi this time lolololol. they seem so happy. p has a huge grin on her face the whole time. so does azzi. apparently when p was putting the camera back in her bag it was right after the picture on her insta azzi took of her standing up. there's that. again if i was looking into this completely unknowingly i would think they were newly married. they just have that glow to them. maybe p was hitting it right this trip cause azzi is literally glowing like the sun. after this azzi and paige go and meet the whole scandal and greys anatomy cast. i would just love to see their initial reaction because i bet they both had just the biggest grin on their faces and were so happy they couldn't stay off each other. i can imagine p just being so happy she's jumping up and down and like squeezing azzi's hand 😭 ipad kid ass. they get a picture with the cast. they both seem so happy after this bc i mean they get to have their dreammmmm. getting to meet your fav shows cast and also having a gf that looks as good as azzi does this day. GENERATIONAL BAG.

the day where azzi has the neon outfit and paige is wearing jorts and a tee. first of all the way they're matching??!?!?? brittany are u trying to kill me? we get some REALLTLTLRLEKEIKE sexy azzi pictures that i think paige took. she looks absolutely stunning and i know azzi got a few kisses after p took those photos. they seem tired but happy this day. looks like they wanna go home to their beds and cuddle to sleep off the jet lag together :(. there's a cute little video somebody caught of p yawning and stretching after the game and the way azzi is standing against her? ummmmmm???? she seems like it's her natural reaction to reach up and put her hands under paige's shirt on her waist but she stops herself. they're both chatting and are soooo close im surprised they haven't kissed yet. and the way azzi is looking up to paige when she stretches. again soft azzi was ALIVE these last two days. i truly loved to see it. azzi looked beautiful idk if ive said that. surprised paige didn't just start making out with her right there. i wouldn't have been able to resist. all in all, this day is so soft and cutesy and makes me so happy to be pazzi nation.

in conclusion, the us open changed my life. no i don't mean anything about tennis. pazzi at the us open changed my FUCKING life. i've never been the same. they were screaming i fucking love my girlfriend and we're together forever. p had her moments and azzi had her moments now too. i hope you can see these moments and make out who does what in the dynamic and how sometimes they take turns. i love pazzi and i wish they would come back home. goodnight!!!

Summary! In which Harry Potter and Y/N L/N decided to keep their relations a secret given the deep rooted rivalry between their houses but it seems no matter how well they've hidden it, secrets always have a way of coming out, especially when a certain red head finds his way into it.

Warnings / Content! Harry is absolutely whipped it's crazy, an argument between our favorite besties, Ron being an ass ( still love him tho ), no real warnings tbh, fluffy ending.

It seems our secrets have come awry.

Within the stone walls of Hogwarts school for witchcraft and wizardry green and red were always at each others throats. Between quidditch matches, the race for house cup points, and the simple rivalry that had initially sparked back in Godrick Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin's days, there was always a clash between the two houses.

So when Harry James Potter, golden boy of the lion house himself, had found himself infatuated with Y/N M/N L/N, one of Salazar's most scared snakes, he figured it'd be best to keep their relations quietly hidden behind closed doors.

Y/N L/N was an ideal Slytherin. Cunning, prideful, even prefect. He didn't know what it was about her that made her so different to him. It might've been her strive for success, the way she may be self righteous at times but still was relentlessly selfless, or the fact that no matter how many times she had been given the chance, she was steadfastly fair. Harry soon decided he may never know what it was about her and truthfully it didn't matter, he was completely and undeniably in love with her, each and every part.

"There's no way I missed that!" Y/N exclaimed with a hearty laugh. Currently the two were hidden within a blocked off corridor, a halfway point between their two worlds. Late at night during a time where the two of them didn't have to worry of others.

"You must've, there's no way you can just miss Filch screaming down the halls, completely purple!" Harry chuckled, it only caused Y/N to laugh more, falling into his chest.

Her laugh brought him nothing but bliss, no matter how muffled it was, it echoed through his chest and rang like a symphony to his soul.

Once she had finally composed herself she spoke again, "One day, in the far future, I will give my highest of regards to the Weasley twins for their antics."

"They wouldn't want it from you."

The new voice startled both of them. No one was supposed to be awake at this hour, the two snapped their heads and jolted away from each other.

Harry felt his heart drop, Ronald Weasley, his best friend since the first day he stepped onto the Hogwarts express, stood there before him. His expression, shocked and furious.

"I'd head back to the dungeons if I were you," Ron began, staring Y/N down. "Sure your cousins would notice the head snake left the den."

Harry could see her irritation form, "You are so lucky I don't have my wand on me Weasley-"

Harry stopped her and told her to head back, there didn't need to be a scene ringing throughout the castle. This was bad enough as is.

The argument that the two had once Y/N had been out of earshot was one that they had never had before. It wasn't some petty row or a small spat, it was a true argument with venomous words that pricked at Harry's heart like thorns.

"She's a snake Harry! Head snake at that!" Ron exclaimed after Harry shooed him into an empty classroom he then charmed to be silenced, in hopes no one would hear and come looking for what the sound was at this late of an hour.

"That shouldn't be an automatic rule that she's horrible!" Harry retorted, "She despises Malfoy more than us, Ron! She doesn't believe in any of-"

"You don't think that's true do you?" Ron remarked, his voice raised. "Harry she's fronting to get close to you-"

"She is not!" It was harsh, Harry meant for it to be.

"And you're just so sure of that?" There was an accusatory tone in Ron's words, "For all you know she's probably working with Malfoy to get in your head, find out your secrets-"

Harry wanted to drown his words out, you know Y/N, you know none of it is true, it became a mantra in his thoughts, repeated so loud he wondered if the outside world could become completely silent if he kept it going.

And if it could have, it didn't happen soon enough.

"It's not real Harry! She doesn't love yo-"

Harry was happy to know he'd never hear what Ron planned to finish his sentence with, because within seconds he was out the door and long gone on his way back to the Gryffindor tower.

At this point he didn't even bother to put the invisibility cloak he had brought with him back on, he didn't care who saw him anymore. He had never felt so angry, even more so with the boy he considered a brother. How could he say those things? He doesn't know her like I do. He doesn't know her at all.

Ron was supposed to be his best friend, he was supposed to have his back, Harry was supposed to count on him no matter what and now he didn't know what to think.

OVER a day had passed and Harry hadn't even looked at Ron. Harry could only hope Hermione was still in the dark and Ron hadn't spilled the beans to her or anyone else for that matter.

He fell back onto his other friends for the day and hoped no one picked up on the rift between them, only until later that night, at a quarter past midnight was he finally able to see to the one thing he knew he could count on.

Y/N.

"He doesn't know what he's talking about!" Harry expressed to Y/N after letting her know of the argument. (Of course without giving the explicit details that he knew would hurt)

Y/N watched as he paced back and forth.

"I don't blame him, It's a reasonable thought for a Gryffindor." Y/N tried, Harry shook his head quickly.

"It's not! He doesn't know you, he can't say those things! I just- I can't believe it!" Harry threw his hands up in exasperation. Y/N stood up and gently grabbed his hands, causing him to stop in his tracks and turn towards her.

It took not even a second for him to completely melt once his eyes met hers, it was a normalcy about her that he'd always love.

"Look I appreciate the sentiment but it makes sense, I'd think the same in his situation." Y/N said quite frankly, "Truthfully I would've said much worse about it to, me being me and all. I understand it."

Harry's heart hurt. "You shouldn't have to."

"And yet I do." Y/N squeezed Harry's hand slightly. "I am head snake after all. I get why you're mad and I get why he's mad. Though I don't know much of anything of Weasley and as you know most days I don't care to, I do know you. You and him have a bond, a very strong bond. I can only hope it doesn't end with us on opposite sides again but you two will make it through this. I swear that to you."

Harry knew deep in his heart she was right, no matter how furious he felt, she was the smartest Slytherin had. She was always right.

It would take many nights of arguments and cruel words, the unfortunate involvement of Hermione and many consoling nights in Y/N's arms, but it happened eventually. Though Ron isn't entirely for Y/N, he wasn't entirely against her and that was enough of a start for Harry.

And maybe one day, no matter how impossible it seems, he and everyone else would see her in a different light and just maybe, he'd let their secret finally come awry and he get to love her in the light.
