hm okay good question!!! taking the opportunity to ramble.

there are a lot of reasons i chose to change the setting to a seaside kingdom @ peacetime. one of these reasons is just to mirror canon because in canon delta is very much immersed in paris’s world and culture against his will. and the empire at large is very reflective of paris’s own brutality. changing the setting to be more grecian and oceanic and calm is reflective of delta’s personality instead 💙

but another reason i changed the setting was like. i dont want to just rehash destroyer. we already heard that story. its easy to read the AU and be like wow delta is way nicer as a whumper than paris was. and tbh that might be true regardless. but i think if delta was put in paris’s exact situation he would also end up a lot crueler and be pretty similar to him in the end. maybe even more ruthlessly efficient. still it’d be a bit of a rehash.

but another another reason to change the setting was that paris would just. not fucking survive in canon delta’s position. he wouldn’t. he’s too unstable. the institution would’ve killed him out of fear a long time ago. that boy dont act right.

so i guess it depends on how much psychic ability he has? if he had anywhere near delta’s ability in canon he would absolutely just be put down for it out of safety concerns.

but if he had a moderate level i imagine the king would still be pretty unhappy about this. it just makes him more of a time bomb. he’d have gotten kicked out way sooner or again maybe just killed outright! delta would definitely try to intercede on his behalf and there’s hints that he’s already doing this in the AU but i dont know how successful he would really be.

"We'll be back in 10." Sam calls as he and Cass step out of the bunker door.

"Hey babe do you want a beer?" Dean was calling out to you from the kitchen, thinking you were off somewhere, but in reality you were right behind him.

"Yeah sure." You say. "He jumped at your sudden appearance. " Hey." He smiled at you. He's so gorgeous. You cant help but bring your lips to his. Your hands hold his face as you deepen the kiss.

You hear the beer bottle he was previously holding clink on the counter as he sets it down. His hands find their way to your waist.

His lips are so soft, so sweet. You pull away and smile at him. "God you're a tease." He says.

"A tease? I didn't even do anything." You say back, smiling at his eyes, filled with lust.

Your hands slide down from his face to his chest, and you unbutton the shirt he's wearing. "Hm, looks a little to bare for my liking." You say looking back up to him.

"Feel free to make it to your liking." He says.

You smile once more before bringing your lips to his chest, leaving marks of red all over, earning groans from him.

You pull away to admire your work. "Much better."

Then a thought occurs to you. "Actually.." You start.

After a minute or so you pull away. "Ok now come here." you Grab his hand and walk him to the bathroom.

"Look." You watch him as he pulls his shirt down, revealing the mark you just made. "That was an interesting experience. I quite liked it." He says.

"Well.." You say. He tilts his head in confusion. You close the bathroom door, and lock it. "Come here." You say. He moves closer to you and you take off his coat.

You then unbutton his shirt. "Wow Cass." He's got such a nice body. You do the same you did to Dean, leaving marks all over, including near his v-line.

as you stand up you look at him. "I don't think I'll be going shirtless at the pool." He says. "Its your choice really." You say to him. You were just going to leave ot at the hickeys but you couldn't help yourself.
