so ok, what if...
what if all for one for all just vanishes as soon as Deku defeats all for one?
Like, it was the purpose of the quirk right? And once the end goal is reached the presence of the other wielders' will and power will diminish.
They will be in peace.
Hence, Izuku will be left quirkless once again. But this time, he can become the first quirkless hero if he wishes to.

So while I was raking leaves today I was thinking that as much as Bakugou bullying Izuku and later redeeming himself is an integral part of canon, it could be improved upon. I’ve always been a fan of AUs where Bakugou is exactly the same personality wise but he stayed friends with Izuku and is his biggest supporter.
Basically baby Katsuki looked between his best friend in the whole wide world who just got diagnosed as quirkless and the prejudices of society and took Izuku’s side. And because this boy doesn’t do anything by halves he is so ride or die. Izuku trains his mind and body, he and Katsuki hang out constantly and make plans for their future agency, they spar together until they’re both formidable fighters. You can obviously insert canon in here which would be the same only Izuku a) starts out buff b) has a bit more confidence/self worth and c) All Might has to deal with an angry Pomeranian barking at him not to hurt Izuku 24/7. Aizawa clocks them as the class’s disaster duo within 5 seconds of meeting them and he’s not wrong but he underestimates the trouble they can get into.
Me, being me, I was playing with it today in my quirkless verse. They both get into Yuuei, Bakugou in Heroics and Izuku in Gen Ed. Katsuki would be hissing and sneering at his classmates for “stealing Deku’s spot” and it’s annoying but also kind of cute. They hear a lot about this Deku person, he’s tactically brilliant and a dirty fighter and doesn’t need a quirk to pound Katsuki into the ground. They’re shaking, imaging like a 7′ demonic beast. Only one day, the door to 1-A opens and its this sweet boy with curls and freckles and the friendliest smile like “Kacchan, you left your school books at my house again :)” And they collectively lose their shit that THIS is Deku. Then they watch him and Bakugou spar and its like, oh okay then, I am Afraid again.
Anyway, point being, I still think we could have had a compelling, interesting story if Bakugou was still his kind of douchey self but at the same time was Izuku’s best friend and biggest hype man.

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG
"For the love of–... I'M COMING!"
It's Sunday morning. You have been expecting this day to wake up maybe mid-morning, with the gentle warm breeze coming from your open window; have an exquisite brunch that you have been planning and craving since Friday; maybe watch an episode or two of your favorite show before preparing a full spa day, with a long and refreshing bath included. That's how you have planned your Sunday to go.
But no… Apparently, someone's intention was to ruin the whole day for you while their knocks on your door were persistent and annoying at 6 freaking a.m.
You don't think about what you're wearing before stumbling towards the door, with the loud BANGS still sounding. You think of your poor neighbors next door and their newborn baby.
"This little shit," you protest, completely annoyed with this person knocking on your door like someone has died. "Someone better be dead or else…" You open the door in one strong pull and huff utterly annoyed when you encounter the person behind.
Vermillion eyes collide with yours, the intense hate and annoyance so palpable in the air it almost cuts you both.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?"
He tchs, rolling his eyes at you. The bile travels up through your esophagus, and you want to spit at him.
"Save the greetings, if you know what a decent greeting means… Well, considering how well you just did it, I doubt you fuckin’ know…"
The muscle at your temple twitches so hard, you believe he is actually able to see it. That would explain his upcoming smirk.
"The fuck do you want?" You repeat, not even caring or taking the time to follow this banter with him. You would normally do it, come back at him with a snarky response that would probably hurt his ego and he would answer back making you even angrier, and yada yada, nothing new to this ‘hate x hate’ relationship you had with this man in front of you. But today is not a day you planned on dealing with Bakugou-annoying ass-Katsuki.
He looks down at his hands, his fingers fidgeting a bit with the buttons on his all-black suit jacket you just now noticed he is wearing. Interesting; he never uses formal suits like this one if it isn't for a Hero Gala, and that was only once a year. Or that one time you remember he had to apologize to citizens through a TV interview with Deku because of a villain attack in Hokkaido they couldn't quite contain on time and caused a lot of material damage. You shake your head coming back to the present. Pro Hero Dynamight, a.k.a. Bakugou-annoying ass-Katsuki is standing right at your door, looking a bit nervous while playing with the buttons of his jacket, furrowing his eyebrows like he is angry even at the air he breathes.
You could have expected anything from this unpredictable man who infuriated you almost twenty-four hours a day, the seven days of the whole week. However, you were not expecting at all the words that come from his mouth after he looks up again and his eyes lock with yours.
"Fucking marry me."
Your eyes open wide. And the only thing you think of doing is punching him. And you do.
Your hands close in tight fists, and before saying anything, you punch his shoulder as strongly as you can with one. You know for sure your small and useless fist won't do any damage to this hulk of a man, but the meaning behind it it's what matters.
He simply looks at you in disbelief. "Ouch?" He smirks. He fucking smirks at you, and this time you punch his stomach, which does make him grunt and hover a bit in pain.
You attempt to close the door right at his face, but he suddenly pushes it with his hand and makes you waver a bit back, holding yourself on the door handle. He stands straight again, retrieving his hand from the door when he realizes he used more force than intended to prevent you from closing the door.
"I- umm- Shit, sorry, I didn't-..."
You raise a hand to stop him from talking.
"Just fucking tell me what you want, so I can go back to bed and not see your ugly face for the rest of my day."
You watch in satisfaction how his face contours into full rage. And this time you smirk.
"I fucking hate you…" He spits, and you bat your lashes at him while smiling.
"Ah, the feeling is mutual, baby."
Bakugou takes a deep breath, closing his eyes and holding himself on the door frame with strength. You're sure his hand shape will print on it, and you get more annoyed –if that's possible, but you have already learned that when Bakugou was involved, the anger was immeasurable– thinking that you will have to hire someone to fix that.
"I fucking hate you," he repeats through his teeth with his eyes still closed, but then he opens them, and his entire face changes into something you never expected to see. He looks at you, begging, "But I need you to marry me."
You look… perplexed. Again, never in your life have you ever come across the thought that those words would ever come from the man in front of you, much less towards you.
You open your mouth to say something, but the neighbor from the apartment in front of yours opens his door, standing there with his arms crossed and looking menacingly.
"Everything okay, Y/N?" His deep baritone voice asks. Bakugou turns his head and when he sees him, stands straight, head held high and you can imagine the type of defying expression on his face.
You roll your eyes. Men.
"Yes, Arisu, everything is fine. He's… a… friend," the word stung your tongue because you couldn't consider Bakugou that, even though you shared the same group of friends. But it wouldn't have been good having these two fight over something you still didn't understand what was happening; the thought of who of these two hulk men would win still was entertaining to think about. Your money was on Arisu, of course.
"Alrigh’," Arisu says, looking at Bakugou up and down before retrieving himself back into his apartment.
"The fuck this fucking extra-..." You stop Bakugou from turning and going towards Arisu by holding his arm and pulling him towards you.
"Stop it. Come inside," you demand, pulling him as he watches your hand around his bicep, "before any of my neighbors file a complaint against me thanks to your fucking loud mouth."
Bakugou grunts at your words as he lets you pull him inside. When you close the door and turn to him, you realize how big he looks in your small apartment, where there is barely space between the living room and the kitchen and two doors, one leads to your bedroom and the other to the bathroom. You want to laugh at how uncomfortable he looks.
You take a deep breath, scratching your forehead to regain a bit of patience –which was non-existent whenever Bakugou was around.
"Okay, now, explain to me what the hell is wrong with you."
"Nothing is wrong with me. More like what's wrong with you and this small thing you call apartment… When did you-..."
"Bakugou! I didn't invite you in for you to start insulting my living space!" You say more exasperated by every second he is in there. "Tell me what the hell happened to you! Why did you come here, almost tearing down the door of my place at 6 in the fucking morning, annoying even my neighbors, and then you fucking propose out of nowhere!"
His lips are held in a tight line as he watches you almost yell at him, hands opening and closing anxiously. There is silence for a couple of minutes before he says, "My father died."
You gasp, taking a step back. Wow. That's something you were not expecting at all. You get now why the black suit. And now that you look at him better, his eyes look glassy and reddish –probably thanks to how much he's holding himself back from showing any other emotion that isn't anger. And that's… sad.
Your arms immediately hug yourself, one hand settling over your chest. "I- I'm sorry…"
"Don't be," he turns a bit to the left, facing the kitchen to avoid looking at you. "Fucker was a right pain in the ass."
You choke on the laugh that almost escapes you at his words, and after you clear your throat you murmur, "Sorry." He looks at you a bit amused, the right corner of his mouth lifted a bit at your reaction.
You sigh again after a few seconds of silence, "Bakugou, what does that have to do with you asking me to-...”
"My great-grandparents are-were the funders and CEOs of TCA Technologies Corp.," your eyes open wide at the name of the prestigious company that had been ground-breaking in the creation and use of robots, before being the number one seller of technology materials to support heroes. They were high class in society, civilians and heroes. "Yeah, that's the face every extra makes," he smirks when you stick your tongue out at him.
He then looks at you up and down and immediately looks away, clearing his throat in a clear gesture of shyness. You frown confused.
"Fucking go put some clothes on."
That's when you remember you had no pants, no bra, and an old shirt that barely covered your panties. Fuck. You almost run towards your room to get changed. All of this had to be a dream… or a nightmare.
Your Sunday was entirely ruined. You know that for sure.
After you change to decent, more covered clothing, leggings and a big shirt that almost reached your knees –it is Sunday, dammit, and the hell you are gonna dress up for Bakugou Katsuki– you walk again towards the living room where you left said asshole waiting for you there. He is now sitting on your couch, his suit jacket lying over the back of it. His elbows are resting over his knees, his hands holding his head. You have never encountered a tired Bakugou, yet here he is. Looking beaten and down.
He looks up at you when he hears you approach him; his eyes are more reddish than before, kind of like when you want to cry but don't let yourself do it. That made you feel bad for thinking about him as an asshole.
"What took you so long, short-legs? Whatever you wear, you'll still stink and look ugly on it."
Nope. He is and will always be a stupid asshole.
You roll your eyes grunting as you let yourself fall on the couch, as far away from him as you can on that three-people couch, crossing your legs under you.
"Spit it out, asshole. What's all this about?"
He sighs, "My father inherited it all after my grandfather died. His whole life had been that stupid company, his and my mother's. I don't give a fuck about it, but the old hack insists that I- ow!"
You pinch him on the shoulder this time, knowing very well that if you had punched him he wouldn't have felt anything. But pinching… he did feel that.
"What the fuck was that for?!"
"Don't call your mom like that, idiot!"
"Fucking piss off, you know shit! The old hack is an old hack, she deserves the title."
You shake your head in disagreement but decide to leave that topic there considering how affected he looks by it.
"The old hack said," he simply repeats that to spite you, and you really want to punch him, "that I need to step up and be fucking CEO of that bullshit, or…"
He looks at you, and you gulp, kind of understanding where this is going.
"Or get married." You finish the sentence, crossing your arms over your chest, "But why? Those two options are completely different from one another."
"The sky will fucking fall the day I understand any-fucking-thing that comes out of her mouth. She's nuts!" He protests, arms exaggerating his words as he opens them wide, evidently showing how much stress he has, before laying back on the couch, head resting over the back of it where his jacket is. He sighs long and deeply before talking again, "My great-grandmother had a strong Quirk, but she decided to stay at home instead of being a Hero. Those were other times, ya'know?"
"I know History of Heroes, Bakugou. I'm not stupid."
He looks at you again, this time genuinely surprised, "I, umm, thought you-..."
"Have you ever thought that despite not having a Quirk, I know about heroes?"
He tchs, "No wonder why you and shitty Deku are such shitty nerds."
You roll your eyes for the eleventh time that morning, "Get to the point, shitty asshole."
Bakugou scoffs, clearly holding back a retort to answer back, then he continues, "I'm the first in generations with a strong, hero-level Quirk. Most of my family had decided to live as civilians, building this stupid company from generation to generation."
"Oh, and you are the first actual Hero in the family. You are the first one to choose differently…"
He nods in response, "It almost gave my grandfather a heart attack. Ever since my Quirk woke up, I knew what I wanted," he looks back at you, and for the first time, you admit to yourself that you're curious of knowing what he wants, what goes through his head, so you nod allowing him to continue, "I want to be a Number One Hero. I want to kick villains' asses as much and as hard as I can for as long as my stupid aging bones allow me to."
The intensity in his eyes and conviction in every word he spoke made you feel his passion. And that was… new.
"But to be that, I can't afford to waste time in falling in love and all that bullshit…"
"Then say no to your mom and the company," you offer as a solution. He snorts letting his head fall back against the couch.
"You know shit…" He shakes his head, "There's a requirement in every hero company, it says that a familiar, or a spouse if the hero is married, has to validate your mental sanity alongside a doctor to keep working as a Hero."
"I… didn't know that."
"Of course not, short-legs. You're not a hero, why would you know?"
"So, if I… If we get married-..." he nods in confirmation even before you say the words. But he says them.
"The old hag won't have to validate my status as Hero anymore, and she won't have anything to hold me back from sending her and the company to hell."
You looked serious at him, "Bakugou, you and I don't like each other. You hate me and I hate you. And you want to put your Hero status in my hands by marrying me?" You say in disbelief, almost anxious about the whole meaning of this. You stand up and walk from one side to the other as you keep talking, "Why? Because your inner kid is in rebellious tantrum mode and does not want to take the responsibility to-..."
"Shut the fuck up! You. Know. Shit!" He also stood up, shortening the distance between you two in the small living room.
"Then tell me! Explain it to me! Cause to me you only sound like a spoiled brat who doesn't want his veggies for lunch."
He looks you right in the eye, hands almost trembling in fists beside his body, and then he drops the bomb.
"My mother killed my grandfather."
You recoil a step back, "What?"
He sighs, hands and fingers running through his hair, clearly uncomfortable, "I-... There is no proof, no solid proof about it. I just- I know it was her." Again, the conviction in his eyes made you believe him. "My mother wanted the money, the luxury life being with my dad could bring her. But my dad had a brother, an older brother."
"Had?"
Bakugou simply shakes his head, "The idiot got himself in between a shooting from two villain groups. He was shot only once, and it killed him. A fucking looser…"
You try, you really tried not to smile but failed miserably. "You are the idiot," you say fighting back the chuckle.
He smiles back, "No, I got shot several times, I even got thrown at and through walls, and I'm very much fucking alive. I'm no weak ass looser as him."
You can't stop laughing, Bakugou definitely is an idiot.
He waits until you're done laughing before continuing, "Even then, my grandfather didn't think my dad was capable of handling the company and all it meant, so he was thinking about giving it to one of his nephews. That's when, I fuckin’ know, my mother took matters into her own hands. I'm an only child. If I say no…"
"The company has to go to another familiar..." Everything washes clear now in your head, “And your mom won't allow that to happen. So she’ll lie and say you aren’t sane enough to keep working as a hero,” Bakugou keeps nodding, confirming everything you’re saying.
“That way, I’m obligated to work at the company.”
Your hand travels from your forehead and brushes your hair back. “She wouldn’t that… She’s your mom, Bakugou...”
“Haven’t you heard a fucking thing I said? She fucking killed my grandfather so the company was legally inherited by my father! Therefore, she could hold all the rights, all the stupid money! My father was a fucking dimwit who believed every-fucking-thing my mother said. She controlled him as she pleased.”
You gasp as another realization hits you, “That’s why you are an asshole to her…”
“She can fool anyone, but not me.” He declares, standing tall and proud. “I have never played her game, and I fuckin’ never will.”
You hug yourself once more, taking some minutes to assimilate all the confessions he just dropped on you. Everything feels like a script of a freaking movie or something. And there are too many questions you want to ask. But there’s only one thing you mostly don’t understand and you need the answer to.
So you look back at him, head tilting up a bit due to the height difference between you, and ask, “Why me?”
Bakugou does not hesitate in his answer.
“You’re strong, despite not having a Quirk. And smart. You don’t let anyone dictate what you can or cannot do,” he takes a step closer, his eyes never leaving yours, “You have never backed down from a discussion, with me or anyone else. You don’t let anybody step on you, holding tight to your convictions and beliefs.”
You visibly gulp, feeling a little warmth in your cheeks that makes you want to look elsewhere, but you don't. You hold the connection between your eyes like dear life. And he smiles, the left corner of his mouth raising a bit.
“You have a fuckin’ strong character, you won't even shy down from me,” you suddenly feel the back of his index finger caress the right side of your jaw, where lays an old scar he perfectly recognized.
It was the scar he accidentally left when you were younger, stupider. He had picked a fight with another newbie hero –another asshole in your opinion– who kept talking shit about his other newbie hero friends. Bakugou had snapped when the guy mocked the word “whore” towards you. You have tried to separate them, earning yourself a punch on the right side of your face by this same man that has touched the reminder of that old memory.
“But above all that…” It’s his turn to gulp, eyes going up and down through your face. Is he… Is he looking at your lips? “You are kind. You care about everyone. You always try to solve everything for everyone –that’s fuckin’ annoying actually.”
You open your mouth to swear at him, stupid asshole; but he doesn’t give you time to say anything. “What I’m trying to fuckin’ say is–” he takes a deep breath, “You are… good. A good person. And you… You understand m- us.”
Was he going to say ‘me’? By ‘us’, you know he means heroes.
Your parents had been heroes before they died. Unfortunately, you were born Quirkless, so the dream of following your parents' path was decided the same day you were welcomed into this world. You have already made peace with this idea, it didn’t hurt like it used to when you were young. Despite not having a Quirk, you specialized in Quirk and training analysis, which granted you a job that most Hero Agencies wanted you for. Hence also how now your group of friends involved all heroes.
However, one thing is working with them, working with Bakugou Katsuki, a.k.a. Pro Hero Dynamight, who was the biggest pain in your ass you have ever had since the day you met him. Another completely different is actually marrying the pain in your ass.
You sigh, “I don’t–...”
“What? You want me to fuckin’ beg? ‘Cause I fuckin’ will…” Bakugou takes a step back and literally kneels before you. You protest, grabbing his forearm and pulling him back up, but he doesn’t let you move him even a millimeter. “What do you want? Whatever you want is yours. We can even sign a dam contract if you so want, I don’t fuckin’ care what it is. Whatever you want, it’s yours.”
“This is not a fucking joke, Bakugou. You are asking me to marry you. What if I have a boyfriend? You didn’t even fucking ask!”
His eyes open wide, surprised. “Do you?”
You roll your eyes, releasing an exasperated sigh. “No! I don’t!”
“Then, what are you bitching about?”
You groan. “I’m bitching about the fact that I don’t know why would you put a whole big deal on me when we hate each other!”
“I trust you.”
It’s a short answer, his expression is even so neutral and sure that leaves you perplexed. Surprised at how easily he said those words.
“We don’t like each other…”
“I don’t need to like you to trust you, idiot.” It feels like he’s mocking you, but one look into his eyes and what he is saying actually feels right. He is completely sure of what he is saying. “I would even fuckin’ trust you with my life.”
He already does. Every day, at work.
Still, you can’t pass the opportunity to piss him off. “Wow. That’s deep, buddy.”
“Fuck you.”
Mission accomplished.
You laugh gently, looking at him still kneeling on the floor of your living room. The sight in itself is a miracle. A sight you won't get to see ever again from this man. But it’s not the image of his kneeling position that makes you take the decision.
It’s his eyes.
They are screaming, desperately begging for you to help him. And, damn it, he is right; you always are at the disposal of everyone when they need your help. Fuck! It is actually very annoying –but you will never admit that out loud, especially not to him.
You close your eyes, head tilting back, and take a long, deep breath.
You are so going to regret this.
“Fine, I’ll do it.”
Bakugou Katsuki immediately stands up and practically throws himself at you, his whole hulk of a body surrounding you in what you have never thought would ever happen between you two: a hug.
Are you though?

Pssst op
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He is shown having a statue in the ‘ever since we all started working panel’, its just 1) mixed in with the other students statues 2) it’s so stupidly tiny that its near impossible to notice on a first reading/skim through (I only noticed it on my third read when I decided to take my time staring at each page)
Super on brand of Deku to just avoid his own hero statue in favor of All Might’s statue tho lmao (gdi Deku)
Also, his class didn’t ghost him? They’re just having trouble meeting up as an entire class because of conflicting schedules. Which makes sense bc they’re a group of twenty one people who all have different shift hours, work areas and work schedules going on, and have to be constantly on call in case of emergencies. Pretty sure they still have smaller get togethers, talk over the phone, etc. (which is as much of an assumption as them ghosting him for 8 years, but one I’m more willing to believe in bc them funding the suit implies they wanted to keep him in their lives. Sure wish Horikoshi showed it instead of just implying it and leaving it up to reader imagination tho. Gdi Horikoshi.)
Edit: forgot to add that you don’t need to agree with this interpretation, it’s just that I found Horikoshi putting his statue so far into the background that it’s difficult to see both funny and frustrating and I figured knowing that it was there would help somewhat
Tumblr media
"The funniest thing is how nobody gave him the recognition he deserved, not even a statue bro, the midoritas saved the world and it was like "ah ya", the romance with uraraka didn't develop, and his class ghosted him for 8 years kskskskss lol"
I'll just...leave this here...
#bnha spoilers#bnha 430#bnha manga spoilers#it’s really funny to me that it’s like. complete background bonus material lmao#like it being the whole class instead of solo makes sense bc the entire thing is about how having a group of people doing the heroine#is better than tackling it solo bc everyone needs to play their part instead of relying on others. multiple hero statues acknowledge this#and Deku’s statue is at the front of the nameplate so it’s going to be the first statue others see most likely so he’s given more credit#but it’s still both funny and frustrating that it’s tiny one panel background material#funny bc you really do have to where’s Waldo it#and it implies that Deku just. avoids the fuck out of the statue bc it makes him uncomfortable. bc it’s him as a kid or past hero days or b#he failed to save Shigaraki and thus feels undeserving of such a statue even tho he saved the whole world#which is very on brand of him lmao. dude trying to make up for it and at peace with his quirklessness by inspiring and teaching others in#the hero school version of Japanese Harvard to prevent society from repeating its mistakes is more important to him than his hero teen days#or he just doesn’t give a crap about the statue bc humbleness or something. can see that happening#frustrating bc we have to where Waldo it and it’s not more obvious which sucks. but also bc we know that despite being content inspiring th#next gen to be better and not repeat his mistakes. passing the torch like OFA was passed to him. it’s also pretty clear that he still wants#to help like he did in his hero days and he’s limited bc of his quirklessness and although hes made peace with it he’s not satisfied by it.#he still wants to be more hands on so badly and it shows. I’m so glad they got him the suit it helps him both satisfy that urge and assist#in his teaching practical hero studies to the quirked students so it’s a win win lmao#I have big feelings about this chapter yeah

Mha Reaction to their big pro!hero sibling coming to visit
Tumblr media
´*: ・゚⋆˒ Characters: Katsuki Bakugou, Izuku Midoriya
READER: Masked Hero!reader, reader doesn’t give their name to the public.
WARNINGS: Angst coded a bit, but really fluffy other then a few things, siblings bickering!!
GENRA: HC’s
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Izuku Midoriya
Izuku liked to keep you a secret— not in the way you think. When he was younger he got bullied for being quirkless and he was sure you wouldn’t want to bring down your reputation. Or get more bullied because of how different he was.
No matter how many times you made it known you respected and love quirkless people, even announcing to the world that you had a quirkless brother, he still felt ashamed.
But once he got into UA he was so proud of himself, he was messaging you everyday about his progress. He felt horrible to keep you in the dark about allmight but he had too! Deku still kept you hidden, he wasn’t sure how you would feel if he spoiled your identity.
“Look at you, little hero!!” Izu was so shocked to see you standing in front of him and his class, a smile plastered on your face. “My My, how you’ve grown!” Everyone watched you practically fly to him and hug him.
Now seeing you both together in the same room…it was so obvious that you both were related!! Same nose, eyes and even freckles. Even if you had different dads, you both favored your moms features more.
He was overwhelmed with questions, mostly why he never told them he was your brother, then everyone was fine.
Until you started sharing stories of when he was little. How you would pretend to need saving just so he could rescue you. And somehow a baby picture even up on the kitchen fridge…
“I’m so proud of you,” and yet after all the embarrassing stories, kicking his butt in training, and giving him lectures you still held him when you need to leave, “My brother is going to be the best hero.”
He was a sucker for your hugs. Don’t forget the waterworks!! He’s crying at the slightest praise from you.
Everyone in the class, including him was shocked when they saw a picture of them on tv while you did a interview! “This is the future of Japan!” And you sang their praises on tv.
“Midoriya, your siblings the best!!”
“Yeah…I know.”
Tumblr media
Katsuki Bakugo
He’s sooo over you. For years he hated how he had a pro!hero sibling. That just means he’s have to work harder to get out of your shadow. Unlike izuku, MF didn’t want anyone to know he was related to you— YOUR NOT SPECIAL.
I think deep down he was wordied he wouldn’t catch up to you, or that somehow he would fail and you’d be disappointed. Because katsuki really does care AND look up to you, which is why his first thought was to go to UA to follow in your footsteps. Tho, he never admitted it.
“I just want UA to have a better Bakugo, can’t have you spoiling our name.”
Boy would be so pissed if you sent a letter of recommendation. And better expected a angry call, “I don’t need you help.” “Think I can’t do it on my own?” he really hates when you try and help him. Makes him feel weak. Like I said- he doesn’t want his big sibling to look down on him.
“Put the boy down!” Bakugo freezes out the stern tone of someone yelling at him. Denki pulls away from his grip, thanking the person. Yep, it’s you— and the first thing you do is embarrass him.
“Why the hell are you here. Shouldn’t you be fighting low level villains. What, People stop stealing candy from babies?” Everyone is staring at him because he’s talking that way to a pro!
“Don’t be like that! Give your sibling a hug!” they watch you chase him around for a minute while he’s screaming his head off….YOURE HIS SIBLING?
Kats hates that everyone knows now and is asking him questions. He hates to be in your shadow. He hates watching you give praise to his friends and then give him “tips” or whatever. He’s constantly trying to train with you, to try and prove he can be better and beat you in a fight.
“Don’t hold back! I’m not some loser kid like you think,” he screams. It’s been hours since you’ve been training and you still haven’t used any of your power moves on him, “I’m better then you! So stop looking down on me!!”
And you clicked it right there. Why he was always pushing you away, or overworking yourself. Why he hated when you tried to help him. So you did what any good sibling would do—Kick the shit out of him.
“I never thought you were weak, katsuki,” you bend down as he’s laying on the ground out of breath and beaten up, “Just because I give you pointers doesn’t mean anything. I just wanna be there for you,” you pat his head while he has no energy to reject you.
“I’m so proud of you! I knew you would be a hero years ago!”
The last day he was more closed off because of his disappointment to see you leaving but didn’t wanna show it. Being a pro meant he never got to see you, even he was younger you were here at UA training.
Anyway from everyone, he hugs you deeply. “Try not to die! I can’t have everyone knowing I have a weak sibling.”
As he huffs in your chest to give off the impression of being mad, but the grip of his hold says something different.
“Whatever you say, Kit-Kat,” you chuckle and pats his head and hold him for a few seconds as he trues to pull away from you.

Some thoughts on The Discourse about the last BNHA cover
(Note: This Discourse was on Twitter. I don’t know how much of this may have been said here on Tumblr, so consider this either my contribution or just me reporting back on drama from other fronts.)
So, I saw a lot of back and forth over there between people who didn’t like the cover and people who did, and I spent a little while mulling it over. It seemed to me that the people who didn’t like it had a good point, but one they were not articulating particularly well, possibly thanks to the character limit and possibly also because the people talking about it tended to phrase their objections in sarcastic, consciously exaggerated terms because that’s the language months and months of dealing with the truly insufferable Horikoshi Defense Squad on Twitter primed them to use.
So what is the point?  Basically this: In going for the lazy/easy callback in both the cover design and Dai (plate-hair kid)'s role in the final chapter more generally, Horikoshi landed on an "everything comes full circle" ending when what the story desperately needed was an indicator of change.
We didn't need to know that a kid with low self-confidence and nothing to speak of in the quirk department can still become a Pro Hero if he[1] wants to.  We already knew that because it's what the whole story of BNHA was about!  Deku passing the torch/paying it forward is nice if all you care about is Deku's personal arc, but it's sheer reductiveness if you care about literally anything else.  If there was going to be a kid getting Deku's encouragement and help at the end, if that's the ending Hori was absolutely set on, it shouldn't have been the Deku Redux kid; it shouldn't have been the weak kid who has already been metaphorically proven capable of becoming a Hero.
1: And of course it would be a boy.
It should have been the troubled kid, the one from the bad family situation, the one who isn't sure whether he even believes in this Hero thing.  It should have been the kid who, if nothing about Hero Society had changed, would’ve been rejected by the whole corrupt system—in so many words, the Tenko Redux kid.  That's the one who we saw could not become a Hero under the previous system.  That's who we needed to demonstrate the system's improvement.
Instead, all we get is Deku helping himself.  And it fits, I guess, because “himself” is the only sort of person Deku ever wanted to save anyway—remember that in the very first chapter, Deku tells All Might that he wants to be a Hero because he was never “saved” as a kid and so he thinks saving is the coolest thing ever.  Implicitly, then, Deku wanted to be the kind of Hero who could have saved the kid he was, and that tendency to reserve his compassion for people he can recognize himself in—the crying children and the Hero wannabes—is consistent throughout the series.  Dai, then, simply becomes the very last of these examples, the chance for Deku to tell his middle school self that he, too, can be a great Hero.
And that’s quite a choice, isn’t it?  Take a second to consider the implications there. The metaphorical parallel Deku helps is his middle school self, not his childhood self—there’s no evidence that Dai was bullied on the same level young Izuku was, and we sure didn’t see anyone telling him to jump off a roof.  So, who does save those children, then, in this grand, improved version of Hero Society?  Does anyone?
Well, not really. Not that we’re shown. Indeed, the child who was the closest analogue to young Izuku—a weak and seemingly quirkless boy who stuck his neck out for other rejected children, who still stubbornly wanted to be a Hero despite a parent's disapproval—was Tenko, and Deku pointedly did not save him.
To be clear, I don’t mean that just in the sense that Deku failed to save the adult Tenko became, but even in the emotional sense that the series clearly wants me to believe Deku succeeded at, the saving of the boy's heart? I don’t think Deku even managed that.  Sure, he might have protected the echo of that child from a few memories, might have held his hands for a few exchanges of dialogue, but then the boy transformed back into the form of the Villain he'd become and was swallowed down the spiritual maw of the man from whom society failed to save Tenko to begin with! And what was Deku doing as this happened? Absolutely nothing but yelling impotently as he got blown backward and out of the mindscape.
Imagine that Deku had found some way to cheer up Izumi Kouta only for Muscular to kill the kid thirty seconds later.  No one would be saying, “I think Deku still saved him—his heart, anyway,” if Deku got Kouta to smile and admit that Heroes were actually pretty cool only to do nothing but scream helplessly as he watched Muscular pulverize Kouta’s ribcage with one gentle squeeze.[2]
2: Mind you, this comparison is flawed!  Unlike AFO’s vestige, Muscular doesn’t turn up to kill a child as a direct result of Deku’s own actions. Also unlike the events of the final battle, Deku doesn't jump up and personally administer the killing blow to the still-screaming victim, either.
It just leaves me thinking about some of the stuff @codenamesazanka has said about how the narrative treats Shigaraki and Deku helping him: not as something Deku has a duty to do, not something Hero Society on the whole owes Shigaraki (and all the other metaphorical expy/future Shigarakis), but rather a bonus, a nice extra, a demonstration to shine up Deku's Hero cred because he's making efforts no one else would bother with and that no one would reasonably expect him to make. It's not Deku’s job to save the Tenkos or the young Izukus of the world; apparently that just falls to society at large.
So then, what was the point of making Tenko/Tomura such an extreme case of someone who started in a similar place to Deku?  Why make him, also, a weak kid who was told he couldn't be a Hero, if you're not going to have Deku save him in the way no one saved Deku himself?
From where I'm sitting, the answer is, "It seemed like a good idea to Horikoshi at the time, but proved to be poorly thought out."  But if Deku failing to save his own closest childhood analogue was where the story was going the whole time, then Shigaraki should never have been used to parallel Deku to begin with.  It's just a damned waste of Shigaraki as a character, an insult to everything he represented, to use him for ~the parallels~ throughout the entirety of the story except the very beginning and the very end.
Anyway, Pro Heroes are bullshit and the ending should have been them being radically reconceived from the ground up with input from all the people they failed to save.  But again, if you have to still have Heroes-qua-Heroes at the end, and you have to have some stupid thematic echo because you as an author think callbacks are the single most compelling storytelling tool of all time, then everything we got on Dai should have been for Scissors-kun instead, and here I am very much including Dai's scene before the first war. An unsettling scene of a strange child with his mouth sewn shut, stuck in a straitjacket in a dark room should have been the last thing we saw before launching into the day of the raids, an apparent element for the future in the same way that so many future Villains were first shown in the wake of Stain's arrest.
See, Shigaraki’s own destructiveness is what ultimately frees Scissors-kun from the basement, “saving” this rejected, abused child in a way no Hero ever managed or even knew to try, just as Shigaraki brought light and a strange sort of hope to the lives of so many others whom Heroes failed.  However, Shigaraki couldn't carry his ambitions through to the end. He was never able to meet the kid he indirectly saved, never able to offer that appallingly abused victim an avenue for his signature brand of rough justice. Heroes stopped him from doing so. So then, who will help Scissors-kun?
If we’re to believe that the story's protagonist has made a real difference, that Deku and his classmates have changed the world for the better, then we don't need to see them helping a kid who we already know is going to turn out fine because “he” aleady did. We need to see them help the people that previously only Villains would have helped, picking up the torch they struck from Shigaraki’s hands.
So sure, keep the scene with Granny Evil and Scissors-kun if you must, to show that it’s not only Heroes but also the broader Hero Society that’s changed. After that, though, show Deku stepping in.  Show him taking an interest in this kid as a way to keep his promises—to Shigaraki, that the rejection and obliviousness that he sought to destroy have indeed been destroyed and will remain so, and to Spinner, that Deku will remember Shigaraki for the rest of his life.
When Deku is older and in a position to give advice to a kid who’s floundering and uncertain of what to do with his life because of what people around him say about him, make that character echo the characters the old system failed to save, not the character who the entire story proved would do just fine.
For god's sake, ditch Deku Redux.
Now, I know the obvious rejoinder here: We can’t use Deku’s story to say that BNHA already showed us that Dai would be fine because Dai has a quirk where Deku did not, therefore Deku’s path would not be open to Dai.  To this, I would reply that neither Deku nor Dai specify that Dai wants/is able to be a top Hero, merely that he be the kind of Hero people can admire—which the story has also already proven true!
Ojiro got into UA with nothing but one (1) extra limb.
Manual has a perfectly middling quirk that turned out to be absolutely crucial in two different wars because it was the right quirk at the right time.
Wash’s quirk makes strong bubbles.
Like, this list is not short.  Manifest Plates might or might not make Dai Hero Billboard material, but one of the major points of the endgame was the sublime and noble value of helping when you can, in the way that you can.  So to reiterate, we didn’t need that to be proven again in the epilogue.
If anything, going the route of retreading the same story makes the epilogue much worse! Not only do we not get to see how this society is helping the people the old society most profoundly failed—victims who fall through the cracks and become Villains—but in seeing yet another a weak kid being mocked for his heroic aspirations, we find that we’ve barely moved a step beyond the exact same place we started.
That’s the message Horikoshi chose to go with, for both the closing chapters of the story and the story’s final volume cover.  Truly, as art that summarizes the story goes, it’s a masterful choice!  And that's the whole problem. The cover of Volume 42 is a perfect illustration of the self-absorbed, cynical, cyclical nature of BNHA's endgame. Little wonder, then, that it's hated by the same people who hated said endgame.

Break Ups, and will y’all get back together??
Contains: Aizawa, Bakugou, Midoriya, Kiego
Bakugou:
He’ll definitely be the one to dump you, you’re in an argument and it’s getting heated of course he’ll never lay hands on you, but you’re both having a yelling match, and he’s not in the losing mood. He’s not even listening to what you said he’s just responding with “Shut the fuck up” “you always do this” and finally he snaps and pulls out the “I don’t even know why I’m with you anymore.” Card and obviously that hurts you, he knows it did. He knows that’ll shut you up so he feels like he won, obviously he has to always be the best right? Wrong. Because after realizing that you guys broke up he felt something jab him mentally, he felt differently, he felt like he lost. And that’s one of the worst feelings Bakugou had, he knew he won the match but frankly he lost the war. He thought he won that night with you, but this is the hardest loss he’s ever took
Will you get back together???
Yes. Now although it was hard you and Bakugou ended up talking things out and suggested therapy and with a lot of convincing he agreed, and that helped you guys relationship a lot as instead of him blurting shit out he just stepped out and when he was cooled down he’d talk it out with you.
Tumblr media
Deku:
you dump him, he keeps putting himself into dangerous situations and getting himself hurt and it’s saddening to see the boy you love endanger himself. You know he wants to be a hero, you just couldn’t stand by and watch, and it’s not like you could help, you’re quirkless. Deku told you, you can be a hero countless times but you know he’s bluffing he didn’t stand a chance before All Might. “Izuku, I can’t just stand by and watch you hurt yourself!!” You said, and he just looked at you, “(name) what’re you talking about…?” He asked and you sighed “I can’t stand by and watch you injure yourself!! I just can’t! Either you drop the heroism or I’m leaving izuku.” You said, hoping he’ll choose you, “(Name) please… you know this is my dream to be a hero.. I’m living my dream! Saving lives with a smile!!” He said and you scoffed “Saving everyone but who’s saving you!! I can’t-! I can’t watch this. We’re done.” You said and you watched him tear up a bit.. After that night Izuku started to care less and less about himself taking more hours to distract himself. He was attached to you, and 2 years later he still wonders what would’ve happened if he chose you…
Will you get back together??
Yes, it took him to lose his quirk for you to eventually come back, sadly enough he went back to you. He needed comfort he needed YOUR comfort and that he received, just like before. One lose one gain
Tumblr media
Hawks:
He cheats on you, you’re at a party one night and well you go home early something about that party made you feel odd, he was acting dry with you like he didn’t even know you, at times. You felt uncomfortable, people were looking at you funny and your bird brain of a boyfriend left you all by yourself, where was he going again? No clue. So you just left, he didn’t realize you were even gone… sat up all night waiting for him to drunkenly walk in that door, but it didn’t happen. You even had everything to take care of him at arms reach, Advil, water, etc. yet he didn’t come home, so you fell asleep on the couch. Hoping to see him when you arise, he wasn’t there. You open insta and figure out why he wasn’t home, he was with someone else. And that hurt. Bad. You dumped him over text and grabbed important stuff and left the house, once he came home and saw the text he was confused at first, until he looked in the mirror and saw hickeys on his neck, not from you?? He fell into a depression and started stress drinking although he’d js hook up randomly which was sucky because he’d always moan/groan ur name
Will u get back together??
No. He cheated on you, enough said.
Tumblr media
Aizawa:
in a way he dumps you?? Well you see being a underground hero and a teacher is hard now being a boyfriend is also hard, you see one of the issues he had is he had to work a lot of overtime and you were just a headache at times for him, you always assumed he was lying about overtime due to cheating situations u had in the past (hawks) but trust and believe he can barely handle you why would he want another person nagging him. He cancelled a lot of date nights when he was free because he just wants to rest when he’s not working, he does a lot.
You weren’t happy by this outcome so just like Deku you wanted him to stop, but also like deku he was not planning too. And you kept nagging and pushing and he finally broke up with you, said you needed better, said he wasn’t providing enough which was true but you loved him… but he didn’t love you. LOLL
after he dumped you, he felt like a weight lifted his shoulders, and unlike the rest he was happier with this outcome he offered to remain friends but if you didn’t want that he couldn’t force it
Will you get back together??
Takes years but yeah, when he retires he’s ready to settle down thats when you guys talk it out and that’s when you guys get back together happily ever after

i LOVED the bakugou fic you just dropped, can you please give more deets on deku's and bakugou's past before he met reader please, need that angst
in regards to this fic
I didn't want to explore too much of it in the fic as it's more about the reader, but here's more of what's implied...
major mha spoilers after cut!
How sad would it be if Bakugou had sponsored Deku's return to the field even though he's quirkless now, only for him to die the most gruesome death?
The insane amounts of guilt Bakugou would be left with, paired with all his progress regarding quirkless individuals going down the drain.
I was also thinking he and Deku were in a relationship.
He's so tortured at home, surrounded by all the reminders of the man he loved, stuck between respecting his death, his life choices, his own hand in supporting those choices, if it was right or wrong—if he'd still be alive if only he'd listened to his true instincts, stuck to his initial standpoint and told Deku he couldn't be a Hero without a quirk, that he should stick to teaching, it suited him better. Kept him safe. But no, he supported his unattainable dreams instead, and now he's dead.
I like to think it completely breaks his belief system—cracks it open like a bad egg. His youth's rejection of quirkless individuals had altered to acceptance in his partnership with Deku and then, following his untimely death, altered again to one of overcompensation—believing in overprotection, cosseting, and the need to instill restrictions on those without quirks for their own safety.
It only further blossoms. What initially is a simple viewpoint that quirkless people are at a disadvantage spreads to encompass theories of them having poorer constitutions, such as inadequate immune systems and weaker muscle potential, fragile bones, and thin skin, prone to deficiencies and diseases, and all types of things they need to be protected from.
I don't know... the idea of Bakugou's ideals taking a complete one-eighty intrigues me...

I want to point out how Bakugo has probably been working on the idea of Deku's new suit since he lost his quirk. He has been working for Deku to achieve his dream for eight years. He pushed away and bullied Deku for about ten years.
He has almost completely made up for those ten years of friendship that he lost with Izuku. He took his atonement seriously, actively helping to fund and work on Izuku's new hero suit, so that he can finally make amends for pushing him away all those years, by reaching his hand out to him, and achieving their dream together.
He wanted to atone for his actions because he feels like that's what he should have done for Izuku, to support him and show him that he can still achieve his dream even if he's quirkless, instead of pushing him down and rejecting him when he reached out for him. To show him that they can achieve their dream of being heroes together.
They have finally come close to putting those lost ten years completely behind them and let go of those regrets.

Deku: since were all adults and all have different jobs now it's hard for everyone (aka at least 20 people) to get together. (As opposed to when we were classmates and shared a dorm and as such spent at least 8 hours a day together).
Fandom: Omg they abandoned Deku once he got back to being quirkless! How horrible!
Me:
Tumblr media
Also
Horikoshi 'I wanted Deku to become a hero without a quirk but my editor forced me to give him one' Kohei : and now Izuku can finally become the quirkless hero I wanted even if he didn't keep it as his main career path.
Fandom: it's unfair to him that he doesn't get to keep the power. He's back to square one now.
Still me:

Fortunate Ones
BAKUGOU X READER
Mentions: Corrupt Government, Quirkless, Injections, Pregnancy, Dad Bakugou, Fluff!
reblogs are appreciated! <3
There was a point in time where life was happy for everyone. Then one day things changed.
Those with Quirks lived a better life. Good homes, good environment, upperhand on job opportunities. Quirkless born have it rough. A child should have their quirk by the age of 5 and if not the government will give the child another year just in case they’re late bloomers. If no quirk is developed by the age of 6 they’re separated from their parents and put into the quirkless side of town, Although they are allowed to travel anywhere. They get paired with a good family. They’re not allowed to have any contact with their old family.
You grew up with Bakugou and Izuku. Yeah Bakugou was an asshole but you still followed behind him just as everyone else did. You and Deku had each other. Yes you were parted from your birth parents but the ones you were given too were great. They love you like their own. Deku went through the same thing which is why you guys are understanding each other. You thought you’d be with Izuku forever as besties and have a possibility to end up with Bakugou.
Izuku never told either of you about training with All Might. He couldn’t. He didn’t even tell you about getting into U.A. You thought you'd be going to school. You knew Bakugou got in and it hurt you like hell. Parting ways with someone you fell in love with. “ Since when do you have a quirk!?” You yelled at Izuku. “You’re a piece of shit for not telling her sooner.” Bakugou said. “ It’s not what you think,”Izuku said. He wanted to stay with his best friend. He wished the three of you could attend the best hero school there is. He cared more about being a hero. “ I can’t believe it. How..just have fun with your quirk Izuku. Bakugou have fun as well. I guess this is it…” you say tears running down your face. “Who knows…maybe we can meet up one day or whatever.” He said handing you a piece of paper with his number on it. You smiled. “Y-Yeah..thanks. I’ll miss you guys more than anything.” you said. Bakugou hated it when he was forced into a group hug. He hates physical contact but tolerated it for you. He’s always had a soft side, though he's a total asshole.
Everyone went their separate ways. You didn’t stay in contact with Izuku. He’s “too busy.” when in reality he didn't make time. He cared more about being a hero. Bakugou is very serious about it too but he tried and did make time even if it was talking on the phone or meeting up in the city going to places where Quirkless people were allowed in. Sometimes he’d even facetime with you at night even after a long and tiring day. Yes he’d knock out mid way with you but he made the time and it made you happy.
As time went on Bakugou developed feelings towards you and finally confessed after becoming a hero and you two Immediately started dating. During the ending of highschool there was a bill being set. Quirkless people were not allowed to house with a quirk user unless married. Then 2 years later the bill passed.
“We could always lie. We don’t have to worry about it. Let me handle it.” Bakugou said, holding you close. You were both 20 and ready to move out. Bakugou was making a great amount of money from being a hero even though he's young. You were in your 3rd year in college studying for business management and English language. You had a small business. It’s going very well. You always have orders coming in. “We can’t lie about it,Kats. If they find out then what?” you asked. “We’ll make it happen eventually.” he replied, pecking your cheek. You nodded slightly. It was your plan with him. Him becoming a hero, you finishing school and starting your small business then soon enough live together. You continued your homework. Thank god you’re the smartest in all your class and gained trust from your teachers. They’d give great recommendations for when you need a job.
“Hey mom. I brought her to meet you. You’ll love her.” Katsuki said. He brought you into the living room. “Really!? All this time?” Mitsuki said, giving you a big hug. You returned it. She’s known you since a kid; she just never thought you’d end up dating her son. “You should’ve told me since you started dating her. Why did you keep it a secret for so long?” She asked, letting me go. “I told him I wasn’t ready not until I was almost done with university.” You answered. “We were planning to move in together but…the new bill was placed..” he said gripping your hand lightly. Mitsuki knows how much he loves you because when you and Bakugou started she noticed how much he started changing and in a great way. “You two are young. Still in the beginning of the new chapter. Us parents will be here to support you both.” Mitsuki said.
When you and Katsuki turned 21 he proposed to you. While you were at work he decorated the dining room with candles and roses.(he lived on his own.) He made your favorite meal. The lights were dimmed. “Hey Kats. I'm here. What did you need help with?” you asked as you took off your heels. “Yeah I'm in the dining room,” he replied. You went over and blushed as you saw the lovely decorated table. You both enjoyed the food. You talked and laughed. “You’re such a romantic, it's cute. Thank you for this.” You said smiling. “I have one more surprise.” He walked over to you.” he replied and made you stand up. “ Where are you taking me?” you asked. “No No, just stand there okay. Close your eyes, loser.” he replied. You obeyed him. Bakugou took out the ring and got down on one knee. “Open.” he ordered. When you saw him your heart was racing. “Y/n I'm in love with you and you know that. You give me everything you have to offer. You always express your love to me. Make me the happiest man in the world and marry me.” He asked. You nodded as you started crying with him. He slipped the ring on your finger. When the wedding happened a year later you both were so happy, loved and fortunate, very very fortunate.
You must be wondering why? Well thank god you and Bakugou decided to try for a baby during the honeymoon and it happened. You were blessed twins, baby boys. During the time you were 7 months the government released the news about planning on injecting half of the quirkless females. An injection to stop them from reproducing. You had your babies and after you got approval from the doctor to have another child. You and Bakugou got to work. It was hard to take care of the twins while pregnant but you and Bakugou want a little tribe.
“ Morning my wonderful boys.” Bakugou said to the twins who were awake and ready for their bottles. He carried both of them and got comfortable on the couch he fed both of them. Struggled but fed them. You were still asleep. He makes sure you get proper rest which is why he took time off work. To help you around the house another set of twins are on the way. You woke up around 9:30 am“Kats?Kousuke?Kensuke?” You called. “In the bathroom babe!” Bakugou said. He was giving the twins their baths. Kensuke was the calm one and Kousuke…sweet lord he’s the wild one. You walked in and saw Bakugou’s shirt all wet. The boys cooed and kicked as Bakugou made silly faces. Kousuke splashed water as Bakugou lifted him to scrub his back. “Let me help kats.” you said with a smile. It took about a good 30 minutes to bath them and have them all set .
You had a small and cute gender reveal only you, bakugou, his parents, yours and your 2 siblings. It was inside the second nursery. Your sister knows the genders so she planned it. “You guys ready?” Mitsuki recorded. You and Bakugou took a deep breath and then let go as you both opened the closet. Half of it was filled with boy clothes and the other with girl clothes. You shared a kiss with Bakugou. Everyone clapped. “ I love you and our babies.” Bakugou said as he rubbed your bump. “ We love you too, loser.” you replied. Months later you pushed your beautiful babies out.
You guys want a K family and you also wanted to have one more pregnancy. Hopefully you’re not one of the chosen quirkless females for the injection and lucky for guys you werent. By the time you and Bakugou were 26 you had 6 kids.
Kids' names. K family. Eldest to youngest.
Kousuke Bakugou(m)
Kensuke Bakugou (m)
Kyousuke Bakugou (m)
Kimiko Bakugou (f)
Kaoru Bakugou (f)
Kaisei Bakugou (m)
You changed the kids out of their pjs and into cute clothes. Your mother made a family gathering. Bakugou hugged you from behind then nibbled on your ear whispering, “We should have one more, don't you think my sexy girl.” Your eyes widened when you felt his bulge. “ Go fix your problem in our room.” you said. “ Come on one more?” he begged, leaving a hickey on your neck. You saw the kids fall asleep as you packed up their diaper bags. “ Katsuki Bakugou no.” you replied. His hands roamed your body. When he got to your breasts you moaned as he pinched your nipples, you felt your milk leak a bit. “ one more.” he whispered in your ear and then licked your neck. “Fuck it.” you gave in. He was about to carry you away until baby Kaisei started crying. Bakugou rolled his eyes. “Mommys boy for sure,” he said. You smacked him then carried Kaisei, rocking him in your arms. Bakugou looked at him playing with his little hand. Kaisei wrapped his hand around Bakugou’s finger and gripped it. When the kids do that to him he always ends up crying. You never knew why but he always smiles and pecks their hands in the process.
The best part of it all is that your children grew up with quirks. When they got their quirks you and Bakugou were blessed. Blessed to be able to stay with your family.
You both were blessed by God to keep your loving family.

Izuku had always wondered how Katsuki was related to him. Bakugo (Name). An angel compared to the devil that Katsuki was. He was only three years his senior with looks that resembled Masaru. His quirk was a bit underdeveloped compared to Katsuki's.. Weak, really.
But that's what he liked. He liked that (Name) didn't judge him for being quirkless. Unlike Katsuki. He still remembered that time (Name) slapped Katsuki for calling him ‘Deku.’
Katsuki hadn't really bothered him after that. His little lackeys, sure, but Katsuki himself didn't say much. Izuku couldn't be sure if Katsuki was even helping him sometimes against the bullies. But he knew Katsuki would never willingly say that he was.
He'd kill if he asked.
Izuku sighed to himself as he tugged off his sweaty suit. Of course the meeting his attended with Iida turned into an ambush by some lowlife villains. They won, obviously, but he still worked up a sweat in one of his favorite suits.
He turned it over to check for damages and to his dismay, there was a large scratch.
“(Name) got me this...” He muttered to himself. He felt the sudden urge to kill someone. (Name) had spent so much money to find a suit that was tailored to his larger body type and didn't rip once his arms went through.
What was he supposed to do?
Logically, fix it.
But emotionally, he wanted the villain who ruined such a special gift to gravel at his feet for ruining such a precious item.
He shook his head. He'd find someone to fix it. Resting it on his chair in his bedroom, he walked over to check his phone before noticing someone was calling him.
Katsuki?
“Hello?”
“Tch, what the hell have you been doing to not answer me? I thought today was your day off?” Katsuki's usually angry voice bled through the phone. But Izuku knew he was a little bit worried.
He could read Katsuki's emotions better now ever since they graduated.
“Sorry. I left my phone at home when I went to visit Iida.” Just a little white lie wouldn't hurt.
“You free now?”
“Yes, why? Did something happen?”
Katsuki paused for a second. “Come straight here. Don't do anything crazy, alright? You worked too hard for your hero's license.”
“Huh? What happened?” Izuku frowned. Sure, he acted recklessly sometimes but he had grown older. He knew to think before acting compared to his high school self.
“It's (Name). I—”
Katsuki frowned as the call ended. He cursed to himself, hoping Izuku was just coming straight his brother's house. Dressed in his hero suit, he wished he could stay longer with (Name) but he had already used his days off two weeks ago.
“(Name)?” He asked, his voice uncharacteristically soft if anyone had heard him. (Name) huffed as he glanced up from his pillow, tears staining his face. His glasses were on the nightstand, the right eye broken from the incident that happened this morning.
“De—Izuku's coming. Are you okay with that?”
(Name) frowned. He was happy to see Izuku, it's been awhile but he didn't want him to see him like this. So weak and broken. (Name) simply nodded, wondering if he was the older brother or did Katsuki really just grow ever since UA.
A harsh knock the door shocked the two as Katsuki grunted. “Stupid nerd...” He stalked off to have a talk with Izuku, making sure (Name) couldn't hear whatever they were saying.
(Name) sighed to himself as he reached over to light a candle, using his quirk. His quirk was stronger than most useless ones but it wasn't like Katsuki's. It couldn't be used in a fight. The fire quirk only lasted a few seconds, like little explosions.
It was good for lighting candles and other mundane things. (Name) only used it a few times for self defense and those few times he ended up hurting himself as well.
It was rare that a quirk could also hurt the user. Well, until Izuku came along with an alarming amount of broken arms from his own quirks.
“(Name)-chan?”
“Zuku!” (Name) grinned, a childlike grin on his lips. Izuku was larger than the small home that he shared with Katsuki. (Name) held his arms for a hug that Izuku awkwardly returned.
“Kacchan left. I'll be staying here until he comes back.” Izuku said, sitting down on the bed. The small tv was playing some random American action movie. (Name) hummed.
“Sorry to bother you on your day off,” (Name) laughed. “What happened was really silly...” He glanced over at Izuku to blink at the angry look he was giving him.
“Silly? Getting attacked is silly to you?”
(Name) frowned. When did he get so serious...?
“Eh, no! I was just—”
“Your boyfriend attacked you in public. You had to use your quirk to defend yourself,” Izuku grunted, a scowl on his lips. “I knew he was a terrible person.”
“Huh?”
Izuku's face flushed. He hated every boyfriend (Name) got. There was always an inching pain in his heart that wanted to scare away—or kill—the men in your life. It always ended up being true because of how often they broke (Name)'s heart.
This is just the first time they ever physically hurt you. (Name) huffed, hating how Izuku was somehow inferring he had terrible taste in men.
He did! But that doesn't mean he liked hearing it from someone else.
“Sorry, that was out of line...” Izuku muttered.
(Name) shook his head. “It's fine. There's some truth to that. I'm sorry for having to continually bother you with boyfriend drama.”
“It's not boyfriend drama, (Name).”
(Name) blinked. That was one of the first time Izuku dropped the honorifics from his name. He looked over at Izuku and reached over to touch his arm. They stayed like that in silence before Izuku finally spoke.
“I hate seeing you with anyone.”
“Like with friends?”
“Romantically.”
“Do you like me, Izuku?”
Izuku's face was flushed red as he looked at everything but (Name). (Name) wished he could properly see but without his glasses--things were blurry far away.
“I love you, (Name). I want to keep you as my own. Even when I was younger. Ah, I'm sorry for being creepy. I can get someone else to watch over you!” Izuku panicked, sitting up abruptly.
(Name) grabbed his hand, “wait! You didn't let me answer.”
“Huh?” Izuku turned around to face him.
“I like you too. I just thought it would be weird to have feelings for my little brother's friend.”
“I'm not Kacchan's. I'm yours.” Izuku muttered, kneeling down to press a kiss on (Name)'s lips. (Name) returned it with a smile on his lips as he pulled away with a giggle.
Izuku grasped (Name)'s hands and glanced down at the recent burn mark on them. (Name) frowned, body fidgeting at the sudden attention towards it. He wanted to ignore it. Much to his surprise, Izuku brought the hand to his lips and...
Licked it.
He licked it.
(Name) gasped, mouthing widening to oppose this but only a whimper came out as Izuku nipped at his hand. He could only watch as Izuku's much larger hand practically engulfed his. Each little kiss and lick made him shiver.
Part of him was disgusted hygiene wise while the other was very much into Izuku licking him.
“Do you want to wait?” Izuku suddenly muttered, glancing up with half-lidded eyes that (Name) was sure most fangirls dreamed of at night.
“Wait for what...?”
Izuku blinked, his sudden alter ego seemingly vanishing. “Ah, I'm sorry! I'm rushing things, aren't I?!” His face was full of panic that (Name) could only giggle.
“It's fine... I want you. I waited so long for you.”
Izuku's lips turned upwards into a boyish grin. (Name) was beginning to wonder how long Izuku loved him. It had to be longer than himself.
“I'll show you how long I loved you, (Name).” Izuku whispered.
“You're tight, (Name). Did your other boyfriends not fuck you right?”
(Name) whined, arching his back as he looked away. It had happened so fast. Izuku wasn't as innocent as he looked. The way he opened him and instantly found his prostate was scary. It truly took only two minutes before (Name) was a muttering mess beneath him.
And now this. With the constant squeaking of the bed of the bed, slapping of wet skin, and Izuku's sudden boost of confidence—(Name) wasn't sure he truly knew him.
“Don't... ngh, say that!”
Izuku simply smiled and pressed a chaste kiss on (Name)'s neck. (Name) squealed as his legs were grabbed as Izuku pushed them towards his ears, effectively bending him in a way he never believed was possible. Izuku's dick was large, just like the rest of his body and the burn that (Name) felt was pleasurable and painful.
“Sorry, (Name)-chan... I don't think I can last long,” Izuku grunted, his face turning bright red in embarrassment.
(Name) wasn't sure why he was embarrassed. He was ready to give two minutes ago from the harsh thrusting. A pathetic whimper left his lips as he tried to ignore the sinful squelching of his asshole. He was going to die if Izuku didn't come already.
“Its...mmh! okay. We have...” (Name) gasped at a particular harsh thrust. “Other days!”
(Name) blinked at the feeling of something wet touch his chest. He glanced up to see Izuku on the verge of tears. Only a huff of laughter left (Name)'s lips. Izuku still was a crybaby at heart.
“Then we can have a family in the future...” Izuku muttered. (Name) wasn't sure if he was supposed to hear that part.
“Uh...?”
Izuku brought a hand to (Name)'s more chubbier stomach and a smile formed on his lips. “I wish you could give birth.”
“Pervert...” (Name) giggled, trying to ignore the way he suddenly tightened around Izuku's cock at the thought. Izuku seemed to notice as a subtle smirk ghosted his lips as he quickened his thrusts.
The last minute was the both of them chasing their release as Izuku leaned down next to (Name)'s ears and whispered:
I'm sure we can make this a reality soon.
It shouldn't have made (Name) cum but it did. Izuku was soon right after, a blush ghosting his face as if he wasn't the one who brought breeding in the first place. (Name) simply hummed and wrapped his arms around Izuku, grinning at the warm cum inside of him.
It was going to suck taking it out but he'll enjoy it right now.
“I love you, Izuku.”
“Love you too...”
Before a quick slumber could take over the two—the door opened showing a pissed of Katsuki.
“I said watch my brother, not fuck him, you shitty nerd!!”
Oh, he was screwed.

Why i think Dabi / Touya is still alive after chapter 430
Tumblr media
#spoilers ahead
Ok first of all, this shit was so ass, i dont even wanna think about how the final chapter looks like it was set in a dark AU ending where nothing changes and rei looks older than ever, still pushing enjis wheelchair for the past 8 years🤮, shoto being a workaholic (and soon being num ONE). Shouldnt he be more focused on his friendships??
Plus, no mention of his siblings that his arc has been working on reconnecting him with. 🤮 So like...Enji won? Shoto will be number one after all wtff..
But id rather think about the fact that touya could still be alive after the timeskip. Here are a few reasons why..
No gravestone shown, no image of a shrine or a burial, hell..no mention of his death AT ALL unlike with toga or shigaraki, erasers friend and midnight...hell, deku even hallucinates shiggy. If touya was truly dead i feel like we wouldve seen a panel of his shrine or ANY indication if his death.
Society and tech have improved so much that quirkless deku can be a hero, so theres no way that touya, with a partial healing ice quirk isnt kept alive.
He was last shown to be 'slowly marching towards death' like BITCH thats literally what being alive is, we are all slowly marching towards death😭
This man is allergic to dying and i do believe that hori left his outcome ambiguous for a reason, if hori wanted to show touya dead he 100% would.
Shoto smiling..like bro would be smiling like that after his oldest brother passed away, like i said, intentionally hori is avoiding any mention of Touya, even natuso is not shown or mentioned, just that shoto has become a workaholic and on his way to being number one...
Plus the panel text is from Deku's pov. So its not todoroki's internal monolouge thats revealed, only his expression and hopefully thats an indicator that his siblings are ok.
Hori has 100% lost the plot lmao, the ending is so convoluted and out of character that theres simply no in universe reason why Touya would be straight up dead. Making shoto mention his father instead of his brothers or sister or MOTHER was certainly a choice🤮🤮🤮.
Old rei pushing enjis wheelchair is sickening and i dont wanna believe that shes still his maid if she has had to mourn touya a second time, its gross and literally a dark au cause wtf.
Since none of shotos siblings were mentioned, this empty space of detail lets us assume that shoto isnt stressing about them. If touya was dead we would see him visiting his shrine, in japanese culture, visiting gravestones and praying to shrines of the dead is symbollic.
I firmly believe that hori either got seriously sick (he said his ears were leaking fluid) or got pressured by his team (he said he cried when his management made him scrap an extra comic page he drew of dabi and sceptic on the past) , i believe that at this point, he didnt have a lot of creative control over his work and wasnt allowed to dedicate more panels to the LOV. HE HAD to prioritise enji and the characters at the top of the poll. When touya came 4th on the final poll, it was too late, his story became enji's story even though hori confessed that he had initially written enji to be killed off in the high end nomu fight.
The story is such a retconned mess, theres no way he wasnt planning shiggy and touya to be SAVED physically, literally touyas last panel is of him crying alone lmaoo.
IN BOTH of Horikoshi's previous serialized series the villains lived and got to reform and atone at the end..
But yeah, my end verdict is that hori intentionally didnt mention touya for the fans to theorise about him living💀
Tumblr media
BONUS ~ i saw a post mentioning this, There is also a throwaway panel of the Doctor "curing the uncurable" - which could refer to Touya

For the longest time, the two of you only had each other.
You didn’t know anyone else who was quirkless. He didn’t know anyone else either. So it made sense that the two of you would cling together. It made sense that the two of you would seek solace and reassurance in each other. It made sense that the two of you would be together- always and forever. It made sense. The two of you made sense. It just did.
Until it didn’t.
Ten years ago, your best friend in the whole world suddenly had a quirk. It happened suddenly. Practically overnight. All that the talk about him training and wanting to become a hero suddenly felt a lot more possible than the two of you ever thought possible. But you suppose things aren’t meant to go your way. At least, not forever. Because it was then that he took off running- as if he sprouted wings and learned how to fly.
That new power of his took him to UA High School while you were stuck at the local high school- the one you thought the two of you were always going to end up going to together. Sure, the two of you were still able to see each other after school every now and then. But with him going to UA living the life of a hero-in-training meant that you and your boring civilian life were competing with so much now. Because the two of you no longer only had each other.
Because he had so much more now. More friends. More love to go ahead. More reasons to keep him busy. More reason to have him reschedule your hangouts. More reasons to have him cancel on you. More reasons for him to miss your cancels and respond to your texts later and later and later. More reasons for him to lose track of your number altogether. And eventually, more reasons for you to stop trying to compete. Because as much as you hate to admit it, things are different. They had to be different. He wasn’t quirkless anymore. So he didn’t have time to spend with quirkless nobodies like you. He had lives to save. Villains to fight. A quirk to train. And so much more to do. And none of those things would ever, ever include you.
At least, that’s what you kept telling yourself.
But then one day, you saw him again. Just a chance encounter. A small sighting of the Pro-Hero Deku out on the streets, giving interviews after a particularly nasty, yet quick battle. You didn’t mean to stay. But then again, you never meant to spend the last decade or so keeping up with his interviews and fight footage. Praying and cheering silently that he would make it out of every battle unscathed.
So you found yourself lingering. Just watching from your spot in the crowd as just another fan and concerned citizen. Just another nameless, faceless person who heroes like him keep safe. Someone thankful, but forgettable. Someone with nothing but awe and praise for people like him, but completely ordinary. Someone who will disappear the second you step out of sight.
But then his eyes met yours.
For a stupid second, you wanted to believe that he recognized you. You wanted to believe he knew it was you as looked out into the crowd and right in your direction. But then the moment lasted longer than a second. And then it was longer than a minute. And then it was glances back in your direction, every chance he could get. Throughout the interview. Throughout the autographs. Throughout the crowding and chaos and the mayhem.
That morning, you thought everything was going to be painfully normal, as it always was. That afternoon, you received a phone call from a number you thought you would never see again. That night, you found yourself being invited to an apartment in an expensive part of the city that you know you and your best friend in the whole wide world would have balked at just over a decade ago. And the morning after?
You find yourself walking up in a pair of arms that are oh-so-familiar, yet so very different from when you last saw them.
It was still Izuku Midoriaya that invited you over as if you were still fourteen years old, ready to trade comic books and swap hero-sighting stories. But Neither of you could deny the fact that he was a changed man. Though neither of you could deny the level of change you had to go through either. Because unsurprisingly, his absence left a hole in your heart. Quirkless people are growing fewer and fewer by the day. Your world became lonelier without him in it. And no amount of whispered promises or recorded TV interviews was going to bring that back. No amount of anything was going to bring your best friend back and all the years that were stolen from you.
Still, he tried. He got down on his knees and held your face in his hands as he tried to explain himself to you. He told you everything. He told you about every time he canceled. He told you about every time he forgot to call. He told you about why he kept his distance. He told you about why it pained him, so to keep himself away from you. Because apparently, he had made enemies early on. Apparently, your name had been used as leverage against him starting as early as your freshmen year of high school.
Apparently, he would rather die than get you caught up in his mess after he had already broken his promise of forever and always with you.
And it worked. All his convincing- all his words? It worked. It worked because you could still hear him. You could still hear your Izuku’s voice despite the years that have passed you both by. It may be older and a little bit gruffer now, but you could still hear him. And it also worked because you could still see him. You could still see the places where his youthful and childlike expression would have been. You could still see that very little about him has changed. And the parts that did change all came with murmured explanations in your ear and he encouraged you to trace your finger over every scar and every freckle as his own arms circled themselves around your waist. Asking you over and over again if he still looks like the boy you used to know.
If you could love him like the boy you used to know.
Now, maybe you’re stupid. Maybe you’re far too lonely and broken, and he’s feeling far too high on nostalgia and your tears to see why this might be a bad idea. Or maybe you’re not. Maybe you’re not stupid, and maybe this isn’t a bad idea. Maybe for once in a long, long time, the two of you can have each other again without things ending up in heartbreak. After all, you’re tired of re-reading old old text messages. You’re tired of watching interviews. You’re tired of watching his life from the sideline. You’re tired of facing the end of always and forever.
So, is it really wrong to want this for yourself? Is it really so wrong when the arms, fresh with new scars and wounds of battle and fights you know nothing about are opening themselves up so willingly to you? You don’t think so. You really, really don’t think so. But then again, what do you know? Nothing, after all. You know absolutely nothing. Because you weren’t the exception back then.
So who says you’ll be the exception now?

Okay imagine this - (you don't have to do it, you can delete this if it makes you uncomfy, I love you and you have done nothing wrong ever) - but IMAGINE okay?
Bakugo Katsuki, The Dynamight, number two hero, and his child with you is quirkless (bonus if reader is also quirkless)
Imagine the disappointed ambition - he was so sure the kid would inherit his quirk or something similar, he was so sure - especially since the kid looks like Katsuki - and yet...
I guess I'm in mood for hurt-comfort 😔
Honestly, I see this affecting our dearest mama here, as it’s likely for Katsuki to really fall for someone after being a bully/jerk to them.
Imagine his quirkless sweetheart, desperate to please and impress at all times because they’re just useless without a quirk (thanks to his bullying in the past) and realizing their child inherited their quirkless gene?

A child is a gift so precious one must always be careful never to forsake it.
That’s what his hag-mother always said at least. The endless joy though which his daughter brought truly lived up to her words though. A gift. A precious, incredibly tiny and fragile, gift he swore to never forsake as he held the bundle in his arms at the hospital.
You looked beautiful even after so long in labor. Joy painting your features and making his heart ache from the sugar being injected into his veins. The love and adoration in your eyes only making his resolve harden further, to protect you both and love you two till his last breath.
So what changed from that moment till now? As a normally happy rambunctious toddler sits in complete stillness with eyes wide in horror. You didn’t look any better, skin perspiration more than his own on a usual day, lip being chewed until the skin breaks and he’s forced to grip you tightly.
“Hey—,” his gruff voice wakes you up.
“I’m so sorry…” his brows furrow in confusion, your apology unexpected and odd.
“The fuck are you sorry for?” He feels the atmosphere in the room start to divulge, his child and you both acting as if you’d heard a cancer diagnosis and not something he’d already considered the possibility of. Of course he’d wanted his daughter to have a quirk, but it didn’t call for such a grave reaction.
“It’s all my fault… I’m so sorry baby…” the tears freak him out more, your tears flowing endlessly as you stare at him with such hopeless eyes he’s startled to his core. Dark garnet eyes widening as a sick feeling enters his gut, something churning he can’t even name. “I failed both you and our daughter, making her weak and worthless like me—,” He’s going to be sick for sure, the sterile little clinic room starting close in on him.
He’s Dynamight, number 2 pro hero, and only because shit for brains Deku was better with the media but still, he’s not sure what to do. How to fix it, as you hold your child and cry, asking for forgiveness from him.
It makes him remember every instance of the past he cringes and does his best to avoid thinking on. Every tug of your hair, every shove to the floor, every time he made you feel small for something so superficial as not having a quirk.
Your tears were endless, and they seemed to spur on his daughter as well, her little sniffles making him nearly enraged as the door creeks open at the worst moment and the doctor returns.
The woman’s sympathetic gaze make him want to punch her, the way she seems understanding and not offended as himself.
“It can be a hard acceptance Mrs. Bakugo, I’m happy to recommend some quirkless support groups for the two of you, then we can look at some family care plans—,”
“What. The. Fuck. Are you talking about? Support group? They don’t need a fucking support group, your raggedy ass bitch—!”
“Katsuki!” “Mr. Bakugo?!” “Papa?”
It didn’t matter, he wasn’t hearing words anymore, top blown and his tempter unleashed as he nearly blows the door off after throwing you both over his shoulder and storming out. Cursing the entire way, uncaring of the phones being pulled out and people whispering and recording. He’d get an earful from the agency but it hardly computed in his mind.
Your fault? It seemed clear enough it was his fault. When all he ever did was make you feel belittled for your quirklessness, small and weak because of it, and now what did it do?
It passed on to his own fucking kid. His fault. This was his fucking fault.
His own eyes were admittedly wet as he shuts you both up in the car. Making sure you both are buckled in safely before he nearly screams once he’s seated behind the wheel. He wants to scream more, yell and break something to deal with the flood of guilt and shame washing him like an old friend.
He never apologized, only pushed it all away like the bullying and harassment never occurred when he started courting you. He’d been in love with you, and that bullying was his sick revenge for making him feel so much adoration for a single individual.
His frame engulfs the seat, muscles taunt and wide chest heaving as he calms down slowly to your silent tears and wobbly bottom lip.
“Katsuki… can we not have any discussions with her in the car…? Maybe we…,” you lick your lips as you fumble over yourself like a nervous wreck in the passenger seat, eyes wide and pacifying as you give him a look filled with a plea. “—Maybe we could have her stay with your mother tonight?”
Because you think he’s angry at you and at her.
For being quirkless.
The most defenseless and precious people to him, the two he’d sworn to never hurt or mistreat, now looking at him with complete devastation and heartbreak. His daughter is never usually so silent and still, sitting like a little doll in her car seat.
He’d always been a confident man. Unshakeable and firm in his resolve because he refused to settle and let himself be anything less than the best.
For all he is though, he’s never felt more helpless and human.
You flinch when the first tear falls.
The sight just as jarring as the realization your child is like you.
Katsuki’s eyes widen before narrowing as he grits his teeth and bares them like a hurt animal, tears spilling as he slams his head on the steering wheel in frustration. The windows tinted and thankfully adding a touch of privacy he’s grateful for now.
“I’m sorry—!” It’s wobbly and hissed like a curse, his apology burning his throat as he forces it out. He can’t look at you as he wipes at his face, shaking his head as he clears it to focus long enough to repeat himself.
“I’m so fucking sorry—never, never did I think less of you ‘cuz you didn’t have a damn quirk—! I was an asshole, a piece of shit that didn’t know how to deal with my crush on you, so I fucking ruined it by picking on you.” His eyes are blood shot, kept wide to prevent anymore liquid spillage but the way his entire face and body scrunch up, it’s difficult to believe he’s able to stop himself on sheer will alone.
“Papa…?” It’s like a slap to the face when he looks over at his daughter to see a spitting image of you both in her, features more like him but personality following you in a way that makes him melt.
“Y’listen good,” he gathers himself up better as he addresses your daughter now. “You will never be less than anyone else, quirk or no quirk, y’hear me?”
“But—,”
“No buts. It’s not up for debate. A quirk doesn’t classify a person’s value. It never has. We just associate them with power when in fact, a bunch of useless quirk havin’ shit stains run the country. A quirk ain’t power kid, power is in will, and that’s all you.” He’s glad you kindly dismiss his slip in language, watching as her little eyes widen and well with tears too.
“So I’m not bad?”
“You’re the best damn thing that’s happened since I met your mom. I love your mom, don’t I? She’s great even if she doesn’t have a quirk. Strong and resilient, patient and smarter than I’ll ever be.” He’s gripping the steering wheel so tight it may break soon if he doesn’t release his grip.
Then he’s being met with you. Your arms wrapping around him, your own muffled cries in his shirt. His hands are around you just as quickly, pulling you into him as much as the small space in the vehicle allows, breathing you in and calming himself as he reaches out and unbuckles your daughter to pull her little body into the bear hug too.
“You mean it…?” Your whisper barely audible as he holds you both close.
“I don’t say shit I don’t mean.”
And that’s enough for this moment. While he’s not a great man, Katsuki truly never lies, sometimes honest to a point it’s painful.
This is a bittersweet pain though.
