4/5 of my most recent non-reblog posts have been Mr. Bonzo related. Is this what it feels like to be Nigel Dickerson? Am I too forever trapped in the service of Mr. Bonzo?? Am I Bonzomaxxing???

this is mostly me just setting down my hc for characters tbh, you obviously don’t have to draw it since it’s not even what you asked for
Completely unhinged about the magnus archives, please please tell me how the characters look in your headcanons so I can doodle them.
#i have basic bitch answers for everyone in tma#but if you would be so kind to consider#the magnus protocol#gwendolyn bouchard#she is a short white blond woman who’s dyed her hair brown and she wore office casual before her promotion then wore her more professional#clothes after (though she might go back to office casual after the bonzo incident. though she wouldn’t be caught dead in actual casual)#and i imagine that she has her hair perfectly dyed (as is everything about her appearance. perfect) but as she gets more stress you’ll be#able to see more and more of her natural hair color.#alice dyer#she’s either twig skinny ginger woman who looks like a modern hippy (stole this from someone else)#or a fat ginger woman who if she posted a thirst trap on tt would get millions of comments asking her to squeeze watermelons with her thighs#(also stolen from someone)#either way she’s ginger. has too many piercings. never wears anything more professional than a hoodie. and gets bitches#also she has she/her pins on her backpack amongst a million other pins (some from her brothers band) and either goes all out on her outfits#or wears baggy pants with a band tee#can you tell that i see her as an all or nothing person?#she also periodically dyes her hair (usually highlights or during covid she did the egirl hair style) but her hair is mostly a light orange#sam khalid#a shrimpy indian man who doesn’t have too many stand out features (aside from his weak girl fail demeanor)#he wears office casual most days but sometimes more casual (usually on mondays or fridays)#he has a designated piece of hair in the front for dying and usually it’s just whatever random color alice has decided he must have in his#hair#he has a dark academia aesthetic although he’s very much a product of whatever environment he’s usually in and flips styles frequently#he use to have one ear peircing because alice begged him to but he’s long since taken it out#also gwen has a bob alice has long hair (this is sub#colin becher#burly ginger man who looks like he hasn’t slept in weeks and is slightly manic#he wears comfortable clothes that look marginally professional (out of habit not respect)#he has a beard that connects with his sideburns and like sam doesn’t have many other distinct features#ahh shit this is my last tag… also gwen wouldn’t be caught dead in a dress/skirt bc it reminds her of her school years

I don't even think gwen is succumbing to a sunk cost fallacy about her job, I think she genuinely just believes that being a bad bitch and getting ahead in a government job is The True Path she must walk so she's just trying to be soooo professional and put all her trauma and guilt and fear into a little box over there and yeah maybe the lid starts to pop off sometimes because of the pressure of everything inside and then she almost spills the bonzo beans to her coworkers on an impulse but it's fiiiine it's sooooo fiiiiiiiiiiiine she's soooooooooooo fine and this is definitely 100% very sustainable and will not backfire

TMAGP Theory Board ( EP 10)
Hi guys sorry for the late post I ended up drawing a lot for this update especially because it's the last one before the hiatus so wanted to give it a little more pizazz :D

What Happened in Episode 10: Saturday Night
Tumblr media
Interview with Nigel Dickerson. The inccident report this week was all about Mr Bonzo. If you remember from last episode Nigel is the famous tv personality who created the character of Mr Bonzo. During this interview he recounts the rise and fall of Bonzo while being ominous and on edge the whole time. what I gathered from the interveiw is that Bonzo is either trapping Nigel or Bonzo and Nigel are linked somehow. (when he say "he won't let me leave" and refers to himself as "us") we also learn about the murders that are connected to the Bonzo suit, first by the serial killer Terrance Menki and very recently 3 unsolved murders. Nigel also mentioned that the actors who wore the Bonzo suit would be prone to injuries on set which is also really stange. Could be they were used as Bonzo's victims near his begining
Tumblr media
Gwen meets Mr Bonzo. The other section of the episode dealing with Bonzo is when Gwen goes to Nigel's house on her first assignment as the Externals Liason. So turns out Bonzo is maybe a hitman for the OIAR! Also, big thing Mr Bonzo is atually alive and is introduced with some kind of practice almost resembling a ritual. I heard somone mention they think Bonzo is an avatar of the Stranger and I can definitely see this. I'd love to hear if anyone else has a theory for what entity Bonzo may be connected to.
Tumblr media
The Return of Colin. Colin isn't dead!! Shocking absolutley everyone Colin is still kicking. a few episodes ago he was sent on mental health leave by Lena after his parnoia caused him to mentally snap. Celia sees him while on break and they have a short convorsation. Colin tells Celia that he need to figure out the computers. also big thing Colin is back without the permission of Lena. It will be interesting to see what hes looking for and if he'll continue to sneak behind Lena's back.
Tumblr media
Sam and Alice's Adventures into the Institute. Probaly the biggest development lore-wise was Sams and Alice investigating the ruins of the Magnus Institute. They don't find much (but I'm still am gonna talk about it for awhile) Alice mentions that there were weird carvings in the floor which she later equates to the worms on the ground. If you are a Archives listener hearing about worms in the archives starts seting off all kinds of alarms. This means in this universe the Jane Prentiss attack still happens, which is especcially iteresting because If I'm not mistaken in TMA the worm attack happened spesiffically to mark Jon with the corruption. Was Jon ever part of the institute? or if not Jon there must have been an archivist role in this Magnus Institute that would require Jane to attack it.
Tumblr media
ERROR and the Tape Recorders so far in protocol we have been listening to the characters through either the computers or though their phones. But during the last few minutes we here the click of a tape recorder. and TMA fans around the world rejoiced. The magnus archives is entirley told through tape recordings and are a tool used by the web (spesifically the avatar Annabelle Cane) does this mean Annabelle made it to this universe? or it could also signal the presense of Jon (since the tape recorders are linked to him) Alice and Sam investigate the archivist office looking for a place for the key when the floor collapes and Sam drops the key. After some Sam and Alice banter, they leave but the recorder stays running we then hear the scraping sound and some shutterd breathing. This is when I highly suggest going through the transcript after listening to an episode becuase they specifically what were hearing and who is breathing.
Tumblr media
I included the snippet from the transcript that pinpoints every not verbal sound we hear
water from the pit under the archives is disturbed
thud on wood then a rattle of a padlock
Key being dragged across the wood then fumbled into a lock that clicks open
trapdoor opens and ERROR imerges
ERROR takes 3 breaths
ERROR has been used before for redacting the roles played by Johnny, Alex and Tim (aka the voices of FR3-d1) during the cast anouncements for protocol. This makes me think that ERROR must be someone from the Archives universe my running theory is that it is a entity that houses Jon, Martin and Jonah's souls or consiounous. but It could literally be anyone. I'm also thinking ERROR has been locked in the tunnels under the archives (Mentioned in TMA)
And thats about Everything! plese let me know your thoughts or if you wanna correct me on any mistakes :)
Also I would love to know if you guys would prefer this style of post where I illustrate moments and scenes from each episode? it would probably delay when I'm able to post the breakdowns but I'd love to know if you guys perfer that format over the less illustrated one.

Im Gonna Crawl
Chapter 3
Tumblr media
We pulled up to The Garden and travelled under the arches taking us to the back of the arena; a safe space to exit and enter. Even through the back we were unable to avoid the small and ever-increasing crowd already surrounding every bit of sidewalk real estate in a sloppy at best line. More like a hoard. Like Night of the Living Dead except it's just teenagers, lovers, and potheads.
We walked the corridor, reaching the heart of the hall where a staggering number of roadies stood preparing, discussing.
In the crowd I spotted Robert in the middle of the group looking slightly puzzled. He met my gaze and grinned, waving the roadies off, he strolled past them.
“My darling girl, California.” He bared his teeth in a goofy smile.
I looked at him puzzled. “I’m not from California.”
He shook his head back and forth. “No, but you bring the sunshine with you.”
“You know, Cali is short for something.”
“Do tell.” He quirked an eyebrow.
I smiled. “You know it’s been so long I can’t seem to remember.” I teased a finger tapping my chin.
His eyebrow raised further and I gave him a condescending smile. He opened his mouth but I shook my head. He relented and changed the subject. “I heard you got Pagey quite drunk.” He nudged my arm playfully.
“I believe Mr. Page was drunk before I met with him.” I stated to which he gave me a look that implied he had figured as much. “He’s quite the character.” I added.
“Ahh well, he can be a lot of things. Don’t judge too harshly, though.” His brows furrowed. “We’ve been touring too long. It gets harder the longer we go. He’s usually rather shy actually.” He shrugged.
This was rather hard to fathom. “He didn’t seem shy to me.”
Robert laughed. “The liquor. It gives him confidence.”
“Confidence is one word for it. I’d say it makes him act like a cocky little asshole. I can't say I'm overly ecstatic to see him sober.  ”
. “You’re not wrong. But to be truthful, if that’s alright?” I nodded. “Hair of the dog.” He paused. “He’s drunk because he doesn’t want to deal with the inevitable hangover and you caught him off guard and at the wrong time. That drunk fool you’ve seen isn’t all he is.” He laughed once. “Alcohol and a beautiful woman are all it takes to drudge that pesky little demon you’ve met out of him.” He pinched one of my runaway hairs and tucked it behind my ear. “A very beautiful woman.”
“Are you coming on to me, Robert?” I teased.
His toothy grin beamed. “I wouldn’t dream of it.” He looked back over at the group of people surrounding the couches. “James has been brooding in the corner since he got here. I know his moods and what brings them on. So, no I’m not and will not be coming onto you… No matter how much I want to.” He winked.
“You ready Robert?” Jonesy padded his way over to us. “Cali” He nodded softly; his smile timid.
“California.” Robert corrected, his grin wide and toothy.
Jonesy raised his eyebrows, panic and blush rising on his Adonis face. “Is that your name? I’m terribly sorry. I must have misheard you earlier.”
“No Jonesy.” Robert rolled his eyes. “It’s her new nickname.” He stated with childlike pride.
“Aren’t nicknames supposed to be shorter than the person’s actual name?” Jonesy raised an eyebrow.
“I don’t know Jonesy. Isn’t your nickname longer than your real name? Even Bonzo’s is longer.” Robert deadpanned..
“Touché.” He agreed. “Jimmy’s getting restless.” He pointed his thumb behind him. “Why is he sulking?”
Robert gave a hearty laugh. “A pretty bird has his panties in a twist.” He winked at me.
Jimmy was watching us, a sharp look in his eye as a couple roadies fought for his attention over a matter they likely desired more concentration for. The urge to glare like a toddler, far too strong. You're an adult. Behave.
“Aye, you’re ‘ere!” Bonzo came bounding behind me, scooped me up in a bear-like embrace.
I gasped as he embraced me, “Jesus, John.”
“I like this one. Heard you gave the princess a run for his money.” His laugh, deafening and contagious. With a pat on the back he set me back and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. “Say, you got any Mary-Jane?” He wagged his eyebrows.
“Sorry, I left it back at the hotel. You can have your way with it when we get back.” His brown eyes were deep and warm. Something about the golden hues made me feel warm, comforted, and safe. “You have beautiful eyes.” The sentiment was light.
“Uh-oh Jimmy better buckle up or Bonzo here’s gonna steal his woman.” Robert wagged his brows fervently.
I shook my head, looking down at my feet. “I’m sorry to break it to you boys but I’m already taken.” I regretted saying it the moment the words left my lips, it felt like a lie. IT IS A LIE. Come on, you can't be seriously rethinking the end to that relationship. When I looked back up Jimmy was standing behind Robert and Jonesy, his eyes on me.
“That’s a terrible shame for us!” Robert beamed. “He’s a lucky fella.”
“Let’s go.” Jimmy muttered impatiently before turning around and heading for the stage.
“Jesus!” Bonzo sighed under his breath. He dropped his arm from my shoulders and gave me a face like he was in trouble. “Duty calls.”
Robert pecked my cheek as they all followed suit. Peter motioned for me to join him and a couple of backstage workers. “Gentleman, this is Cali. She’ll be working with us for the next week or so. Don’t bother her, don’t pester her, be gentlemen.” With one terrifying look they simply nodded. “Now get to work, for fuck sake.”
“Hey, Peter!” A man wrapped in cords by the stage called for him.
“Excuse me.” Peter’s irritation was apparent. I wondered if there was ever a time he wasn’t on some kind of edge. A time where his shoulders could lax, his mind could wander, and he could take a breath without it being hindered by another situation needing resolution. I supposed it was hard to keep four grown men living a teenager’s dream in check.
“You must be Cali.” He was tall and domineering, eyes dark, energy not quite readable. “Richard.” He held his hand out to meet mine. “I’m the road manager. I take care of the boys and make sure they get everything they need or want.”
“Pleased to meet you.” My smile forced.
“Peter asked me to make sure you’re comfortable and have everything you need.” His mind very obviously focused elsewhere. “Anything you need?”
“Actually, I was wondering if there was a phone I could use.”
His eyes flashed as he grinned. “Follow me.” He turned and headed down a hall passing by multiple dressing rooms. He finally stopped at one and let me in. “There’s a phone in there you can use. Don’t be too long. The band shouldn’t be long with rehearsal.”
He turned on his heels and sauntered back down the corridor. I closed the door behind me, fumbling to find the light switch. A quick glance around the room indicated it was in use by one of them. Hanging in an open-faced closet was a black velvet suit. I fingered the material, curious. Patches and sequins placed in precarious places creating flowers, dragons, planets, – Saturn to be precise – and odd embroidered symbols. Instantly I assumed this was Jimmy’s. It screamed, him. Dark, mysterious, confusing, asshole.
I shook my head rid of him and picked up the phone. Taking a deep breath I dialed the number. It rang twice.
“Hello?” It wasn’t Daniel. It was his roommate, Craig. I internally cringed. He was almost always around and always had the urge to put his two-cents into every conversation. Especially the ones he wasn’t a part of.
“Hey.” I sighed. “Is Daniel there?”
“Oh, hey Cali! So, you finally deigned to call? Daniel’s not very happy with you. You know–”
“Is he there?” I cut him off. Am I seriously about to be lectured by this guy? Fuck off, pal.
“No.”
“Well can you tell me when he will be there?”
“Well I could, or you could just leave a message for him and I’ll have him call you when he’s available.”
I leaned against the counter and exhaled a long breath, closing my eyes. “Just tell him I’ll call later.”
“You know you really hurt him...” He pressed.
“I hurt him?” My tone was incredulous. “That’s a joke, right?”
“Hey, hey. No need to shoot the messenger.”
“Tell Daniel I’ll try him later. I’m busy.” I gave up.
“Busy huh?” He made an unnecessary noise with his lips. “He told me what you’re doing… Shame, shame.”
“What exactly is it that you think I'm doing? You know what? Never mind, fuck off, Craig.” I slammed the phone back on its cradle. “Fuck!” I yelled.
“Now whose panties are in a twist?” I whirred around, startled. Jimmy leant against the doorway. What is with this guy and doorways? His eyes were full of curiosity, lips turned up at the corners. Of course he's amused.
“I’m sorry, this is unprofessional but I don’t have the patience for you right now, Mr. Page.” I pushed myself off the counter.
He narrowed his eyes and folded his arms against his chest. “You’re in my room.”
“My apologies.” I mimicked his grimace and pushed past him.
He grabbed a hold of my wrist and pulled me in close, his breath tickling my ear. I shivered under his touch. “If I find you back in here, I won’t be such a gentleman.” He moved his lips away and supported my eyes with his. The deep emerald of his iris’s stunning.
I opened my mouth to speak but before I could he let go of my wrist and disappeared into the dressing room, closing the door in my face.
“Twat.’ I breathed.
“What’s on your mind?” Jonesy lightly touched my forearm bringing me out of my reverie.
“It’s nothing.” I shook my head and smiled at him.
It was insisted that I join Jonesy and Robert in one of the limos back to the plane for an early supper before the show. I hadn’t seen Jimmy since he had closed the dressing room door in my face, my encounter with him lingered in electric fizzles just under the thin layer of skin on my wrist.
“You haven’t touched your food.” Robert pressed. “Are you sure it’s nothing?”
I looked up at him and forced a smile. “Yeah, I’m sorry, my mind is just elsewhere at the moment.”
“Aye California! You ready to break into the good stuff?” Bonzo yelled from the doorway of the dining room wagging his eyebrows. He entered the room, Jimmy trailing along behind him, his usual dark cloud following wherever he went.
Holding up a finger, I jumped up from my seat and padded into the other room where My luggage had been left.
The thing about a big Jet plane is voices travel.
“What did you do, Jimmy?” Robert was quiet in tone.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about Percy.” Jimmy answered, his voice raw.
“She was fine until–” Robert started. “She’s cool, man. Don’t mess thi–.”
`
“I didn’t do anything.” Jimmy cut him off. “Her phone call must have set her off. She left the room after she hung up.”
“Shh.” I heard Jonesy. “You’re both idiots if you think she can’t hear you.”
I grabbed the cigarette box that held a handful of joints and joined the boys in the other room. “Here you go, John.”
“Bonzo.” He corrected me. He opened the case and passed me a joint. “Ladies first.”
I took the joint and placed it between my lips, running my hands over my pockets looking for my lighter.
“Here.”
I looked up and Jimmy was standing in front of me, his lighter lit under the joint. He watched as I inhaled, his eyes burning into mine. He dropped his gaze and a shiver went down my spine. “Thanks.” He nodded in response. passing the joint to Bonzo I excused myself.
Feeling slightly dazed by the major whiplash Jimmy was giving me, I walked out of the plane and descended the steps. When I was on solid ground I looked up to the sky, closed my eyes, and took in a deep breath, slowly exhaling.
“Am I under your skin yet?” I hadn’t heard his approach. My eyes shot open. He took a swift step back and smiled; his eyes blank.
“No.” I said too quickly.
His face contorted into an amused leer. His teeth dug into his lower lip as he looked me up and down. “Come.” He closed the space between us, his hand hovering over my hip. “Take the car with me.” He nodded toward the Cadillac, his eyes never leaving mine.
The chaos he exuded had me frozen. I opened my mouth but failed—to his delight—to form words. He bit his lip again and grinned. “Breathe, sweetheart.” He pressed his hand to my hip, wrapping his fingers around me firmly.
I took in a breath. “James—”
“Aye, California!” Bonzo yelled.
Jimmy took his hand off my hip and took a firm step back just as Bonzo exited the plane door.
“This is some amazing shit!” He bounded down the stairs. “Why’d you leave?”
“Just needed some air.” I smiled.
“You too, Pagey boy?” He wagged his brows.
Jimmy was unimpressed. “I’m heading to the venue. Cali agreed to come with me.” He smiled slyly. “Didn’t you?” He shot me a look. Just as I was about to protest, he added. “To use the phone there of course. You did say you needed to call… Daniel… was it?”
How much of my conversation with Craig did he hear? I narrowed my eyes slightly and faked a smile. “Of course. I’ll see you there.” I nodded to Bonzo and turned on my heels. Jimmy ran ahead of me and held the car door open. I hopped in and scooched to the farthest seat, ignoring him as he followed me in.
“Are your mood swings clinical or are you just deranged?” I was exasperated by the three different personalities of his that seemed to pop up unannounced.
He rolled his eyes and ignored my question. “The Garden.” He murmured to the driver. As the car started moving, he slid across the seat until his shoulder lightly grazed mine. He turned his head towards me, his eyes staring forward. “I will win your heart.” He stated quietly, cocky. “Or at the very least this.” His fingered reached the hem of my shirt, his touch light as a feather against the skin of my lower abdomen.
I flicked his hand away. “You won’t.” I nodded in his direction. “There’s a whole seat beside you, please move.”
“You’re suddenly so sure of yourself.” His hand moved to my knee.
“I’m still sure of myself.” His hand moving up, fingers soft as feathers along the inside of my thigh. “Remove your hand.” My breath hitched to his amusement.
He turned his face now to look at me. “Are you sure?” He stopped moving and pressed the pads of his fingers into my skin. He leaned in closer, his lips brushed against my cheek, a finger on his other hand pulling my chin toward him until his lips hovered over mine. “Should I stop?” His warm breath made me tremble. I started to turn my face away but he traced a finger along my jaw and pulled me back. “Tell me you want me to.” He whispered.
Despite the distaste in my mouth I trembled under his touch. “I…” It was a whisper, unwelcome and juvenile. Disappointment was evident in my tone. It was hard to tell whether it was directed at myself or at his pathetic attempt at a shot but nonetheless it had me weak.
The car came to a stop. Startled out of his trance I turned my attention to the window, we were outside the stadium. Turning back he clutched my chin softly holding me in his gaze once more. His thumb brushed along my lower lip, eyes suddenly warm, gaze almost somber. As casually as he could muster he leaned into me.
I backed away from him, his eyes bewildered and filled with the harsh sting of rejection. “No.” I whispered before leaving the vehicle and disappearing into the venue without him.
I raced through the halls, head swimming, lungs unable to hold the air I breathed. When I had run far enough, I stopped and leaned against the cold concrete wall. I slid down and sat on the floor clutching my head in my hands.
My head was loud and aching. I couldn’t fathom my slight attraction to the man who so clearly was childlike in pursuit of someone who didn’t want him, someone who turned him down. And yes, you can totally want somebody but not want to be with them. Rejection must be something he rarely experienced. I was more irritated with myself than him. People are who they are. You can’t expect someone to be a fictionalized version you create. You have to let people be who they choose to be.
I pondered what distaste I held for his multiple personalities. I sighed heavily, my head growing louder and overwhelmingly hard to keep quiet as multiple trains of thought ran rampant within the walls of my skull. “God, I need a drink.” I whispered to myself.
“I can help you with that.” Richard was looking down at me with a big grin. “Come.” He held his hand out to me, pulling off of the floor.
“Thanks.” I followed him down the hall to the backstage that Peter had brought me to earlier that day. He guided me to the bar and poured me a glass of whisky.
“Jimmy said you liked it.” He held the glass out to me.
I could feel my cheeks starting to flush and internally kicked myself for letting him get me worked up. I was here to do a job and that’s all I wanted out of this experience. Richard noted my blush and the corner of his lips twitched. “Be careful.” He murmured ominously before vanishing into a new crowd of people.
I sighed laboriously before I tipped the glass to my lips and took a sip. The burning of the liquid warm and soothing as it slipped down my throat. I smiled against the glass and took another sip.
“Not chugging the bottle this time?” Jimmy bumped my shoulder coldly as he walked by. I watched him walk toward a group of young girls who immediately started fawning over him and to the surprise of a thin brunette he grabbed her hip, turned his head in my direction, making eye contact with me, his lips a hard line before taking the girl toward the dressing rooms.
“Classy.” I shook my head. As I watched him recede from view, my heart dipped. I hated myself for the feeling. I looked down at the glass in my hand, “Fuck it.” I shrugged and consumed the contents in the glass before pouring another one. I drank the whole glass again, feeling it swirling in my blood and twirling in my head. Drinking had always been casual and still the cordial relationship we shared was quick to turn toxic.
“Whoa slow down, little girl.” Robert gave me a worried smile. “Did you get a hold of your man?” He shimmied his shoulders as he said it.
“No, I haven’t tried yet. It can wait.” I swayed slightly on my feet but balanced myself out again.
His eyes heavily surveyed me as he plucked the empty glass from my hand and wrapped his arm around my waist. “Come with me, darling.” His tone light and playful. He guided me down the same hallway Jimmy had taken the other girl down. I could feel my body tightening up, my muscles trying to run in the other direction.
We stopped in front of the dressing room beside Jimmy’s. As I looked at the closed door my legs started to give out. “Whoa.” He breathed out, startled as he caught me and held me up. He held me so our chests were touching, his arms firmly around my waist. Looking up into his baby blue eyes I could see why so many young girls fell head over heels for the man.
“You’re very beautiful, you know that?” It was a mere whisper. A thought not meant to be uttered. His laugh was a melodic, sweet honey on velvet with a rasp barely audible over its falsetto.
The other dressing room door flung open, Jimmy trailing behind, his hand still firmly on the knob. His wide grin dropped at the sight of Percy and I, his mouth agape, brows furrowed.
A thousand miniscule bouts of confidence sparked electric orange within me. With a grin belonging to a deviant, I smiled, a feather light touch of my hand on Robert’s dressing room door knob. “Excuse us.” I opened the door and pulled Robert in, closing the door behind us and locking it. I leaned against the door; my eyes widened in horror. It was childish and petty to say the least. “I’m so sorry.” I whispered to Robert.
“He’s going to think we’re in here having a quick shag. He’s going to have my head, you know that?” He chided me but a guilty smile played on the edges of his lips. “The look on his face was quite priceless.” He plopped down on the couch and patted the spot next to him. “You’re letting him under your skin.”
I sat beside him and rested my head on his arm. “I don’t know if I can do this.” I admitted. “Are you sure he is capable of any redeeming qualities?” I was woefully unaware of what exactly he was trying to prove. My only thought was his incessant need to have whatever deluded fantasies and desires his mind could conjure granted at the drop of a hat and getting under my skin or in my bed was his newest conquest. It was something I was not akin to experiencing. Rejection was a large part of life and if you were unable to accept it as truth you were surely going to live a miserable and unhealthy one.
“Don’t give up now.” He started petting my hair. “Give your man a ring, it will make you feel better.”
“I think it might make everything worse.” I confessed.
“How so?” He turned his head to look at me.
I sat up, pinching my eyes closed, unable to meet his gaze. “A week ago, I caught Daniel cheating. And I haven’t had a real or peaceful conversation with him since. I haven’t even had a real or peaceful day since it happened. I let it muddle everything up.”
“Is your love with Daniel real?” It was assertive, breathless, sure of itself. The question hung heavy in the room.
I was taken aback. I took a moment to ponder. “I don’t know.” I sighed. “I guess we never really had a great relationship. Most of the time we hated each other but I can’t seem to let go, even though a big part of me really wants to. Needs to.”
Percy nodded, absorbing my words with quiet thought and deliberation. “Maybe this job is what you need. This…. time away from everything and everyone to really see where your priorities and your heart should be.” He took a deep breath. “And Jimmy, obviously you have an attraction to him otherwise you wouldn’t be in here with me trying to make the bastard go mad… my advice on that would be, my darling, to either ignore him, keep him far in the back of your mind… or to let nature take its course.” He pinched my chin between his finger and thumb.
“Beautiful man.” I smiled gratefully at him.
“You flatter me.” He feigned modesty.
The conversation came to a screeching halt with a loud thump on the door. “Lets go, Plant.” Affliction deep-rooted in his gruff exclamation. I questioned whether he was aware of how obvious his disdain was or if he didn’t even realize.
Percy’s eyes were wide as he laughed, pulling deep from within his gut. “You gonna be alright, love?”
I smiled genuinely with a nod.
“Good.” He took my hand and pulled me through the doorway into the empty hall. “I guess he left.” He shrugged. “Despite your efforts to make him believe you were going to have your way with me, for the sake of my friendship I think I need to tell him I didn’t shag his girl.”
“Not his girl. But yes, go save yourself. I’ll make my way there eventually.”
His smile was sweet as he pecked my cheek.
I stood in the hall after he left, not sure how to take the advice. Without thinking of actions and consequences I turned the knob to Jimmy’s room and slowly opened the door. I peeked inside, the room empty for the exception of his clothes strewn across the couch, his crushed velvet suit still hanging in the closet.
Taking in a deep breath I gathered my emotions and threw them into the depths of myself to bury. Turning to leave I swear for a moment I managed to jump out of my skin as Jimmy stood in the doorway watching with quiet contemplation, his demeanor different, supercilious and uplifted.
“I told you if I found you in here again, I wouldn’t be a gentleman.” He smirked at me. It's this smug smile that’s gonna get me fired and charged with assault.
“Honestly, I don’t believe you could be a gentleman if you tried.” I attempted to stride past him but he grabbed my hand roughly. “No.” I yanked it from his grip and kept walking, not daring to look back.
“I’ll see you next time, sweetheart .” He yelled behind me.
I kept walking until I reached the bar, Feeling his static presence as he followed behind. He was quick to take his guitar from a roadie and head to the stage.
“He just sat there. Wouldn’t even look at me. He just sat there and stared at the door.” Her high voice was almost whimsical as she teared up, her mascara quick to drip down her pink cheeks. The young girl Jimmy had whisked away to his dressing room was sobbing into a handkerchief. “He heard someone in the hall, went out to see and then came back in and kicked me out. I don’t know what I did wrong.” She sobbed louder.
I couldn’t help myself. “It’s for the best,” I murmured to the girl and patted her shoulder as I walked by. “The man’s got a nasty disease… trust me you don’t want it.” The girls comforting Jimmy’s reject scrunched their noses at the news, whispering amongst themselves, debating on which disease it might be.
Small victories.
Petty? Yes.
Juvenile? You got it, babe, but a victory nonetheless.
I leaned against an amp, drink in hand and watched the ensuing rehearsal.
“Cali.” Richard nodded, watching the band. “You seem to be in better spirits.” He remarked, still looking forward.
“I am.” I smiled. I watched the men onstage, collecting as much insight on them as I could. They seemed to be themselves onstage, Robert, graceful, poised, gallant and wise, Jonesy, quiet, shy and unbelievably warm, Bonzo, loud and chaotic and James, a mysterious, cunning and ominous enigma. There was something dark about him, not just his moods, not the odd chunk of his personality I had been exposed to but something else, something I couldn’t figure out.

Note
I just listened to episode 12 and I am definitely starting to regret all of the Bonzo things I've made after that absolute bloodbath of an episode...
But also, if his teeth are not soft....why must he pulverise his victims so much? Did the boy never learn to chew his food? Someone should get him a straw or something.
No regret. Only Bonzo.
Maybe he just enjoys it. Maybe it's the most effective way for him to get his nutrients. I don't know, and I have no desire to ask him.
Edit: just seen the notes. I look forward to seeing the Bonzo plushie (his turn to be squished, right? It's only fair.).

making a list of my favorite quote/ones that stuck with me from each season 1 episode because i feel like it
(i'm starting this after episode 4 but it will be a WHILE before i post it)
episode 1: "bones are a lie peddled by Big Milk" - alice
i love this one because it's a great introduction to alice i think. also it radiates spiral so i hope we get avatar alice not dead alice (isnt there a podcast called alice isnt dead?)
episode 2: "If I wanted to clear the canvas, I would have used turpentine." - statement
this one was just fucking powerful and caught me so off guard like 😶
episode 3: "What would I do without her?" - statement
the norris statement <3 it feels like martin asking what he would do without jon which makes mag200 a lot sadder and i love them
episode 4: "Perhaps you shall prove a stronger will than I, and will yet find it within yourself to destroy this hungry thing of wood and cat-gut." - statement
augustus sighting #1 and we immediately get jonah magnus expressing that it may be possible for gwen bouchard unknown family member to overcome the eye's hunger spooky violin
episode 5: "Voyeur needs to be seen to be believed." - statement
i feel like this one is pretty reflective of how the seasons gonna go? like if you explain the events of tma (mag200 specifically) no one's gonna believe you, it must be seen to be believed!! and also seen!! like the eye!!!
episode 6: "Not sca- This isn’t some poxy blood test, some little pinprick, this is hundreds, thousands of razor sharp points pushing into your flesh." - needles
i love needles so much and i thought this was really funny because it was like "you dont find me scary!! what the fuck!!!" just kind of toddler michael energy
episode 7: "It’s not like we’re wrestling with tape recorders and manila folders." - celia
STOP IT. celia you can't say that you just cannot!!!!!! you Know™ too much maam i cant with you
episode 8: "Pleasure to meet you both. I’m Gerry!"
RAGHHHHH OH MY GOD GERRY!!!! i love him so much and idk how to handle him being alive in the tmagp universe!! gertrude too but idk we got so much of her in tma and not nearly enough of gerry
episode 9: "And honestly, it’s kind of compelling by this point." - sam
they got him 😔😔 the horrors got sam 😔😔 also i found this to be an interesting contrast to jon's heavy resistance in season 1 like he was being compelled but he wasn't going to let anyone know that vs sam "its kinda compelling to trauma dump on this paperwork :]" how is he somehow even more victim material
episode 10: "Gosh you’re sexy, here’s a twenty for your trouble.” - alice
does this count as a quote if shes also quoting what she thinks sam should say? idk anyway i love her i would say that to her if given the chance and it was very silly. i will not be addressing bonzo i am scared.
episode 11: "...Thank you, Alice" - gwen
dyhard dyhard dyhard dyhard dyhard. okay also, the way she CRUMBLED at the idea of anyone doing anything nice for her please someone give her a hug and let it be ME. this series is tossing me back and forth between sam & alice (what is their ship name) and dyhard but this put me back to dyhard
episode 12: "You know it's rude to have absolutely no game?" - alice
she's so fucking funny i need her to be okay so badly!!!! i don't think even tim made me laugh as much as she makes me chuckle and this one really got me. it's hard to write such a comedic character in a podcast since you only have the voice but they really nailed it i adore her
episode 13: "Is it my fault?" - gwen
each of these episodes just reveal a little bit more about how loving and soft gwen is and idk i love her so unbelievably much so seeing that she felt guilt about the bonzo stuff just made her so much more real :(
episode 14: "Christ, they’re in the walls…" - statement
theyre in the walls!!! theyre in the goddamn walls!!!!! anyway that got me because i realized the hole before the statement said it. made more sad than scared tbh
episode 15: "Babies are cool!" - alice this entire interaction between her and sam & celia was so awkward, she is so obvious and i love her anyway
episode 16: "It’s not like I was holding doors open for Mr Bonzo or anything." - gwen my wife is so so so stupid but i adore her AND this gives room for character development. i wish she did not do that though. i love when characters are flawed and have depth but i struggled to get past THIS flaw of hers
episode 17: "Thanks, I guess. Not exactly the same, though, is it?" - celia shes talking TO JON IN THE COMPUTER. SHE KNOWS. i lost my damn mind i love her i love her. get the gay people out of the puter please queen
episode 18: "Why would I need to talk to you? Your work is satisfactory. Unless you have a work-related issue I could assist you with?" - lena solidified my opinion that lena is the best boss to ever have, i adore her and i would want to work for her if she wasn't the boss of Creepy Establishment #1
episode 19: "You’re going to throw it in the fishtank, aren’t you?" - alice colin's behavior is like really worrying BUT i'm glad he's back. i was not convinced he was still alive
episode 20: "I suppose it’s too late for remorse, isn’t it? And why should I be sorry? This is what I deserve!" - ink5oul/statement they reminded me of jon a lot, like especially his season 3/4 transformation when he doesn't quite know everything but he knows he isn't who he was in season 1 anymore, i hope we see more of their life and they can be helped :(
episode 21: [Tape Recorder Bites Ink5oul] - audio description i know it's not technically a quote but this is just so fucking funny. why does it have teeth. what does this mean for the lore. holy shit.
episode 22: "Jonathan Sims and Martin Blackwood" - celia. knawing at the walls of my enclosure i am so not okay. i'm not okay. wtf. wtf. wtf. they're real. wtf.
episode 23: "I had a favorite mug. It said “love you, bitch” and had a picture of a drunk dog on it." - alice. okay i just love this entire interaction because gwen got to open up a little bit and my dyhard heart is so full
episode 24: "I am told that children like me, and I’ve always held the opinion that the world would be a better place if everyone just thought more." - basira. once again this whole interaction was so fun but like idk i loved hearing basira somewhat happy and in a safe place :] my wife <3
episode 25: " I am trying to help, to save us from this goddamned fucking nightmare machine!" - colin. MAN I REALLY WAS ROOTING FOR YOU!!! I WAS SO CONFIDENT YOU WEREN'T GONNA DIE!!!! it's over
episode 26: "I was worrying for a moment that you were Magnussing." - alice. MAGNUSSING BEING CANON MADE ME SAY IT EVEN MORE I'VE SAID IT LIKE TWICE ALREADY
episode 27: "You didn’t tell me the room was labelled, “Archivist.”" - celia. oooooh somebody's got TRAUMAAAAA LMAO
episode 28: "So you’re telling me you know nothing about an OIAR external contract being found with the bodies of two tattooed thugs who met rather grisly ends?" - TREVOR HERBERT???? anyway. ink5oul mention!!!!! i hope they stop killing people it's really rude
episode 29: "Alice, er… we’ve got to talk. It’s important." - teddy. i knew it was over for him but i didn't think it was gonna be THIS bad??? bye babe i guess??? 😭
episode 30: how do i even pick. the whole fucking episode. i can't. i am in a state of shock. i need to lay down for 30 years.
#honorable mentions:#“canaries should stay above ground” because holy shit (1)#“i don’t scare so easy these days” because oh my god its our celia (7)#“i like them”/“of course you do” because weeping weeping weeping (8)#“oh no not again! oh the horrors! nooooo” that one was just really funny and not exactly part of the episode (9)#“can he read?” (10) bc it enforces the gwen/jon parallels (“you dont sound?? russian??”)#“the deep will care for his bones” (11) it creeped me out and i loved it#“the cover had this awful comic sans title 'mr. bonzo's on his way'” (12) comic sans font was so funny it almost made it not horrific#“I have a baby. Robert Plant is Not Ready to Retire: “I’ve Got Something to Say.”
Tumblr media
Retirement isn’t on Robert Plant‘s radar. Along with revealing a North American tour with Alison Krauss during Summer 2024 and another series of UK headlining dates with his band Saving Grace, Plant said he still has more to do and hinted at the possibility of new solo music.

Since releasing “Raise the Roof,” his second collaborative album with Krauss, in 2021, along with his 11th solo album, “Carry Fire,” in 2017 Plant said he has been revisiting music he’s had archived away.

Along with his 2024 touring schedule and sifting through unreleased material, Plant, 75, said retirement isn’t an option for him.

“The camaraderie, the things that you share up there, and the frailties that you know you’re carrying with you quietly, the exposure of yourself to yourself, is something that I would hate to say goodbye to,” said Plant. “I can’t just sit back. Out there in the real world, people say to me, ‘What about the book?’ And I say, ‘Are you kidding? What? This is spectacular. Why think about it twice?’”
Plant added, “This is today. What happened in Schenectady in 1969 is another story. And for me, the continuum must keep going. Today, I was pulling all my lyric books out and going, ‘Gotta get the groove back. I’ve got something to say.’ So yeah, I’m going to keep going—as long as they’ve got effects machines that make me sound good [laughs]. Well, it worked for Elvis [Presley]. Listen to the compression on his voice on some of those big ballads in ’57.”
In October 2023, Plant performed three Led Zeppelin songs as a guest performer during a benefit concert at the Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, England for The Cancer Platform, an initiative launched by the Cancer Awareness Trust.
Plant’s set included “Stairway to Heaven,” which he hadn’t performed in 16 years.
“It was cathartic,” said Plant about performing the 1971 Zeppelin classic. “People go, ‘Oh, that’s good. He never was going to do that.’ But I didn’t really do it. I just blurted it out, ’cause it’s such an important song to me for where I was at the time and where I was with Jimmy [Page] and with John [Paul Jones] and Bonzo.

On Sam and Gwen convo in ep 18:
Sam definitely dropped the ball here. I'm not blaming him and not saying it was his fault but he messed up and I fear that this will lead to Gwen :
Not talking about it again
Putting herself in danger either to prove she can handle it or to bring back proof of what she was trying to tell Alice and sam
The thing that hurt most here is Sam was genuinely believing her. He is a believer of the supernatural. And despite Gwen hostility at time, he has been showed to have an at leat positive relationship with her and regularly take her side (even over Alice in some argument).
So he was believing her and Gwen really believed she was gonna get the support she needed and was finally opening up to get.
She unfortunately just chose the wrong example. I am not blaming her here. Bonzo is the most monstrous of the "external" we got to meet for now. We know how awful he is because we got multiple time where we see him and we got a description of what he look like and we know it's awful.
But from Sam point of view she s basically saying the equivalent of the bear mascot from haribo (first example that came to mind) is in fact a monstruous murderer. So I get why Sam laughed, I probably would have too in his place. Especially since we know from the casement in ep 10 that bonzo was loved by kids probably Sam generation
Also Sam s best friend is Alice. Alice who has no concept of what's appropriate and where/when to joke. She s the kind who would make a joke like that with a big lead up (esp knowing Sam s obsession with the supernatural and his want to help/protect his friend and uncover mystery) that end in the most surprising /stupid way. ("you absolute asshole" that s def something he s said multiple times to Alice wehn she did weird bad jock)
So yeah I don't blame him for his reaction. He still hurt Gwen so much tho (could have realized she was actually genuinely panicking and stopped the joke or something). Especially since he (accidentally) described nearly exactly what happened (the only difference being the tone of voice and it happening at Nigel/bonzo s house). Especially the BONZO BONZO BONZO that must have triggered soooo much panic in her.
(Gwen reaction and her voice just broke me up)
I just wished he had checked on her at the end but of course we can't have healthy communication in this podcast
Tldr: while Sam s reaction to Gwen mentioning was not good™ it made a lot of sense and was very understandable but I wish he checked on gwen later

Mr. Bonzo must have been so offended. "Can he read" I imagine him complaining later like bitch thinks I'm dumb just because I'm an amorphous blob of meat dressed as a clown

Magnus Protocol 18
In which Alice might not be getting out the corkboard and red string, but I am.
Note: Sure, Teddy can 'leave' to OIAR. Sure. Just can't get a job anywhere else. That's. So comforting.
Alice and Teddy are cute. Also, ... Alice as the office matchmaker? Huh. IDK. Was she trying to shove Sam and Teddy together because it obviously wouldn't work and thus was not worrying? Sticking a pin in that.
Hi Augustus, long time no hear!
Royal Mint Court... hey! I've been there! I mean, not _there_ there, but the Tower of London is literally across the street, and I've been there. Got some tasty roast chestnuts. ... So, across the street from where they used to put traitors, where they've executed people, where there's the ever-important ravens, etc etc. hmm.
Lena, your people skills are, as ever, astoundingly bad. I'm getting you one of those 'world's worst boss' cups. You can share with Elias.
Hi Augustus! Long time no hear!
Huh, another malnutrition case. Is this another Magnus Institute reject?
Another body that talks after death. Reciting a 'story'. Hey Medical Examiner dude, my buddy, my pal, I don't think this is fiction.
So, I'm clocking the Spider, the Lonely, the Spiral, the Corruption, the End, the Eye, maybe the Vast if I stretch a bit (I must be careful on the stairs, or they will break and I will fall)... that's more than half of the fears. Who else do we know that had multiple fears mark him?
So again: was she a reject from the Magnus Institute??
Hey Alice, I'll take the corkboard and red string, don't you worry.
... Is it just me, or does Alice's steadfast refusal to be curious sound a lot like S1!Jon viciously mocking real statements because he was convinced that if he didn't sound like he believed them, they'd leave him alone?
to be fair to Alice, if someone told me they didn't want the job they'd spent the last however long demanding to get because it wasn't 'fun', I'd also mock them. Please pick better words Gwen.
Oooh, Alice has picked up on Gwen's classism tendencies. And Gwen is not the one to protest the charge.
To be fair to Alice and Sam, if someone told me the super scary person that is making their dream job a nightmare was an annoying children's tv character, I to would mock the shit out of them. That sounds like a joke. It should be a joke.
Mr Bonzo is never a joke.
Mr Bonzo's on his way he wants to stay he wants to play
'Who keeps taking Georgie’s face' is not a question you ask of a baby, Georgie. Also, is this alt!universe Georgie?? She's got the vibe.
... Did Celia end up on the side of the road again? In her PJ's?
So just gonna throw this out: We've got dopplegangers. We've got bodies that sometimes forget to act like they're bodies or like they need air or blood or anything to work. We've got supposedly innocent people asking face-stealing questions of BABIES like that's a THING. Did this world get taken over by the Stranger? I'm JUST SAYING.

TMAGP 18 Thoughts: Dead Letters
Another really great episode. Feels like the show has hit its stride now and it just keeps getting better and better IMO. I can't say I entirely get the episode's title though. This one feels fairly strained to me and I feel like it must be because I'm missing something obvious.
Spoilers for episode 18, and some lightly implied spoilers for TMA, below the cut.
Teddy and Alice being Teddy and Alice isn't something I have a huge amount to say. I'm never 100% sure how you're meant to read these two. Teddy having his own little story in the background is interesting though because the framing of this implies he's very important to the narrative. His leaving is the instigation for two of our main characters to be able to join the OIAR, his leaving party is the opening scene of the show, and every time he's been in it since something about him has progressed. It could just be a grounding element so that not every character is wrapped up in it but it seems fairly obvious that his story is going somewhere.
Fun Fact: I've mentioned it before but as it was name dropped, Robert Smirke was an architect for the Royal Mint.
Lena continuing to be very Lena about everything really does warm my heart. She could just be entirely disinterested, distancing herself from the employees for their safety, or other reasons beside. Either way "Oh, is that its name?" is wonderful and she should never change.
This statement was really great. Augustus being back is a massive highlight. Tim Fearon has killed both of his episodes and I want more of him than we're getting. A haunted house narrated by him is really a treat to listen to. The literal contents of the experience we hear narrated back to us isn't something I have too much to say on. It's got some strong Hilltop Road vibes but is at Church Street. Church Street itself doesn't have anything too important to mention about it. Milton Court, however, is interesting. Violet was seemingly the victim of the same thing that killed Drowning Victim a few episodes back, likely [Error]. But what's interesting about the Milton Court Open Space is that it's about 20 miles from where Drowning Victim was. These cases happened 3 days apart which is ample time to cover that distance but it's interesting because it's largely along the path you'd drive if you were coming from Manchester, where the Institute's ruins were, back to London and taking the M40. You'd drive passed Ickenham. I would not be surprised if we see a similar case from early further north along that route. Another thing of note here is the extreme malnutrition. I think a lot of people are going to link this back to Darrien from the last episode but I think it's more obviously a physical symptom of reliving said experience. Violet wandered though a house with no exit until she starved, like how Drowning Victim, well, drowned. No notes otherwise, great incident. Well, "Some figure reaching asking questions in an alley?" is curious phrasing but I won't get to into that.
Alice and Sam's chat directly addressing the contents of the case is something I love to see. Alice is trying her best to bury all that, bless her, but Sam is for sure never letting this drop. It's just great to see this stuff not washing over them now and it's all becoming more and more relevant. Although it does bring into question why Augustus read this one out. Chester seems to read things that nudge people to act a certain way but this one seemed almost cruel. Like Augustus was trying to get under Alice's skin. In any case its hard to find a thread between this and Taking Notes, at least as far as "motivation" goes.
Oh Gwen. Poor, poor Gwen. Finally opens up about her truly fucking awful experiences and Sam laughs in her face about it. To be fair to Sam leading with Mr. Bonzo is a perfect wind up and I would've laughed too. We all would've laughed if our co-worker said that. To be fair to Gwen, Mr. Bonzo has traumatised the shit out of her and who else is there to really lead with? And as always Anusia killed it here. What a glorious F-bomb too.
Backing up just a little bit, there is this quote during that interaction:
GWEN In the cases, you know how there are often things or places or people or whatever who… aren’t right? Who seem to be causing all the awful things to happen.
Which is fairly interesting if you've been reading theories. Specially about what CAT# means. The most common theory by far is "Person/Place/Object". Meaning that CAT1 indicates a supernatural person in the incident, CAT2 a place, etc. Now, I have written an essay all about this subject entitled "Putting the CAT# Back in the Bag: The Flaws With Person/Place/Object". So, y'know, I don't buy it. Gwen mentioning it now feels like a red herring too given how early it is. Obviously that feeling is rooted in my current belief about said theory. If I don't think it holds water I won't think this is a clue about that. But it's not just that. I think this is too early from a narrative stand point, CAT# standing for those things pointless from a narrative standpoint, and if Gwen has settled on those three things it's not much of a stretch to link it back the the case numbers and part of the point of them is they're inscrutable to everyone there.
Because all of the above isn't enough for this already stellar episode we meet two new characters. Georgie and Jack. Both at long last as they've both come up before. It's hard to talk about this without getting into TMA stuff. I'll try to be light on TMA spoilers but Celia and Georgie have history. Now, unlike with Celia, this very much seems like TMP's version of Georgie. She's a conspiracy theorist instead of a ghost hunt, she's paranoid instead of fearless, and she seems to know as little about Celia as you'd expect. The conspiracy angle is also really clever. TMA was very much just about supernatural encounters but TMP has the cast working for the government. So Georgie has stayed fairly consistent in this regard it's just the shows themes that changed. Celia finding Georgie makes a lot of sense to me though. Their history makes her a good touchstone here and as she's still podcasting about strange things it's a good cover as any. However whatever is happening with Celia is clearly getting worse and she's not lying about it well.
GEORGIE Celia, I’m saying you don’t need to lie to me. CELIA I’m not! [zzzzzt]
Sure you're not, Celia. Sure you're not.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Incident/CAT#R#DPHW Master Sheet and Terminology Sheet
DPHW Theory: 2374 not much to explain on this one I don't think. Spooky house that you can't escape from gets you spooky house you can't escape from numbers.
CAT# Theory: CAT1 is semi-interesting for the theory I think it definitely isn't (see here). Because for that theory to remain consistent corpses end up as objects. Which you'd think would put this in CAT3 if assessors were applying those themselves, and if they aren't all headers of this type being people seems very farfetched when we've seem objects that compel already.
R# Theory: C seems reasonably to me. Having a spooky memory and talking about it seems like the sort of thing no one would care about.
Header talk: Memory (Derelict) -/- Compulsion. Two interesting things here. Firstly, the section being Memory implies that this experience actually happened. Either to Violet or someone else. It could be a ham-fisted section choice if there isn't anything for hallucinatory experiences of this nature but I'd assume there must be. This system is so specific and as that would be a large oversight it seems unlikely that it isn't there. But it's hard to say how much any given assessor knows about what they're picking. Misfiles are always possible. The subsection is the other interesting thing. Derelict is such a specific subsection here that Memory must have 100s of them.

how I'm picturing tmagp characters, preserving for posterity:
sam: dresses just a liiittle bit too nice for his environment. jacket just a little too durable, shirt just a little too pristine, shoes just a little too clean. something vaguely bad has happened to him recently and one way of coping for him has been in maintaining his appearance and belongings.
alice: she made a point of dressing up a bit for sam's first day in a proper skirt suit, partially as a joke, but mostly she's in basic london street wear. she doesn't dress down per se, but she's in outfits you can bike to work in and doesn't change when she gets into the office.
gwen: business casual goth. black blouses, black pencil skirts, long dyed black hair, slightly overly severe makeup. she never consciously committed to the aesthetic, but the constant rage she keeps simmering inside of her inevitably must express itself. it's lowkey enough that you don't look at her and think "goth," but you do after hearing how morosely she speaks.
lena: I'm seeing a lot of purple and silver. hoop earrings and a nice watch, shimmery fabrics, sensible heels. I think I just realized that I've subconsciously based her vibe off of 2008 donna noble.
colin: looks like he hasn't seen in the sun in five years. his skin and clothes are a matching shade of grey. has an emotional support hoodie that stopped giving him any help years ago but he's too used to wearing it to stop now.
teddy: he wasn't around long enough for me to clear and replace my vision of his voice actor's cry havoc character, so I am picturing roman triumvir mark antony (83 bce - 30 bce)
bonzo: bonzo.

Oh man, Gwen's bad time just keeps getting worse. I do not think this is what she expected her new job would be like. Now she knows too much to be able to back out. She got in and now she's stuck.
I think it's pretty much a fact at this point that Freddy targets people with specific cases. So it's not surprising that Gwen got this one. But man that must have been rough to listen to. She was probably already grappling with maybe being tangentially responsible for one death. Now she knows she was indirectly responsible for multiple deaths and disfigurements.
Poor Gwen, not that I have that much sympathy for her, she made her bed. She just didn't realize that bed was in Bonzo's house.
