New Homes | Platonic Yandere Tweels x Child Reader
“From today on (Y/n), you’ll be hanging out with the Leech family so please…be on your best behavior.”
Your father was always a little timid. Always speaking with a little quake in his voice. His eyes were always wide darting around. His softer hands like to shake as well. Always wavering even when he held you tight.
Your father is timid. which is why he warns you when he leaves you with the Leech family. Babysitters always make him nervous. It must be because there are two this time—two babysitters with lopsided haircuts and smiles filled with sharp daggers for teeth.
“Hello little (Y/n), we’ll be sure to take good care of you.”
“Oi (Y/n), you a swimmer?”
The twins were nice…for teenagers. Other teenagers you knew would sooner shove your head underwater than help you tread it. Other teenagers also didn’t jump at the chance to fight people but that was other teenagers. Not the Leech twins.
“(Y/n), I told you not to look at Floyd when he’s doing that.”
“But that guy is still holding onto our ice cream.”
“We’ll have some at home. Don’t point at him it’s rude.”
Jade is the twin with his bang on the left side of his face. He’s proper and polite, always doing his best to keep you on schedule. Helping you with your homework when he notices you’re struggling or reading to you when it's time to sleep.
“Let me blow your nose.”
“Mmm okay.”
“Good job. Are you ready to go over the edible mushrooms again?”
“Mm okay.”
Floyd is the twin with a yellow left eye and a pitchy voice. He’s loud and silly, always doing fun things that make the day exciting like running in the halls of the manor or playing tickle-monsters when you’ve been working too long.
“I just have to finish these sheets and then I can play!”
“Boooriing! Let’s just play now!”
“B-but Jade said–”
“Jade can make you catch up later! Let’s get our water guns!”
“Yay!”
They were always so much fun to be around, even work wasn’t so bad with them around. They made a place for you in their giant home. Giving you a room as big as your living room back home, which you slowly filled with the larger souvenirs from your days together.
Speaking of home, it was becoming harder to recall. Trying to remember when you thought of your home if the bathroom was to the left of your room or your father’s. It was an odd feeling that sat at the back of your mind when you looked at the glow-in-the-dark ceiling art. Consciousness fading in and out it didn’t stop your brain from planting the seed of curiosity.
“Why…am I at their house so much?”
Usually, the answer would have been simple. Your father worked late so you had babysitters. But you didn’t go to their house usually. They also didn’t feed or play with you as long as they did but that was beside the point.
“(Y/n), you’re playing with your food.”
“Oh sorry Missus Leech.”
You made quick work of the beans on your plate, enthusiastically scarfing down what you could. It didn’t feel right to disappoint Missus Leech, while she never once yelled; there was just this feeling about her. One that called for respect.
“Take your time, (Y/n). I was only worried you’d drift off to sea.”
Looking up at her, tilted your head in confusion.
She let out a giggle. The adult kind that made you feel embarrassed. Looking at Jade, he had an amused smile too, “She means your mind, (Y/n).”
“Oh, I guess a little.”
“What’ya thinkin’ about elver?”
Floyd spoke between bites of food, reminding you to do the same.
“I just think I miss my home a little bit.”
Taking another hefty bite you missed the disdain on someone’s face. A purposeful cough brought your attention up to the patriarch at the head of the table.
“How are those new shoes we bought together?”
Lighting up at the memory of your new shoes, you barely finished chewing.
“So cool! Everyone at school thought they were nice too! And I got so many compliments.”
The older man laughed, nodding his head. “Good. Good. Maybe we should go shopping again soon.”
“Okay!”
Dinner went on like usual with dessert ending your time at the dinner table. Letting Jade and Floyd lead you to your bathroom to begin your nightly routine. You fought off the urge to yawn while Jade helped you brush your teeth, failing when he told you to spit.
“It’s always nice when Mama and Papa come back from trips.”
Floyd spoke with his back lying on the giant bed, filled with stuffed animals and pillows. He was tossing your clowned fish stuffy in the air catching it with ease.
Jade still smiling continued buttoning up your pajamas, “Yes, it seems like the trip went well.”
He looked at you, reminding you to follow him to your bed. “What about you (Y/n)? Did you miss them?”
Your eyelids were feeling heavy. You rubbed them to try to wipe the feeling away.
“Uh yeah.”
Helping Jade shuffle your stuffies around to make a place for you a knock at the door was heard. Floyd must have opened it because by the time you turned Missus Leech was there.
“Mama!”
Rubbing at Floyd’s head she waved to you and Jade.
“Hi there! I was wondering if I could join you for bedtime?”
You couldn’t tell if The question was for you but if it was Jade answered anyway.
“Of course, Mother. We were just about to read their bedtime story.”
Tucked in next to Missus Leech you let yourself lean against her as she flipped through the pages of the book. Letting her words soothe your mind with the familiar words. Jade and Floyd were close by too making you comfy enough to go to sleep.
When the story was done, everyone gave you goodnight kisses before heading for the door. With the last of your energy, you remembered something important.
“Floyd, are you picking me up tomorrow or Daddy?”
________________________________________________________
The teenager was squeezing the fleshy cylinder shape with an intensity strong enough to bend metal. The crunching and squelching of a man’s neck barely brought comfort to Jade as he continued to squeeze his hands.
“There there Jade, these things take time. It was optimistic that they’d forget by now.”
Unfortunately, the words of his father didn’t calm him down. He headed over to his next target, this time allowing them to throw a punch. Dodging the punch he cradled their hand, maneuvering his arm around until it snapped in the opposite direction. The screaming that followed would have curdled blood for most but it was a lesser result to Jade. Who ended it quickly with a firm kick sent backward and into the skull. The crunch that followed and the abrupt cut to the scream allowed the Leech twin to breathe.
“I knew they wouldn’t forget. Despite all the work we’ve done. But they still expect him to come.”
His father stepped forward, avoiding the bodies to place a comforting hand on Jade’s shoulder.
“Perhaps he still does…to them.”
Jade’s eyes widened, the implication bringing a stark realization. He turned to his father, his yellow gaze answering the unspoken question.
To think that with all the work he was saddled with, the sniper still hadn’t abandoned his child. The likelihood was slim but possible. There were quite a few blind spots when it came to the school. Jade had previously ignored them because of the promised security of their contract with the one who wanted him dead. But it seems that wasn’t all they needed to worry about.
“Do you think he plans to take them again?”
“I’d hope not,” entering the warehouse was Fiona Leech having traded out her evening dress for a jumpsuit and shoving a receiver of a baby monitor in her pocket, “our little elver is just about to be settled. It’d be cruel to try moving them again..”
“I don’t think he cares at this point,” Jasper Leech suggested. Pulling out a revolver, he casually aimed and shot the two people tied in the back of the warehouse. He continued, “I hear he’s been getting sloppy with the jobs that one has so graciously allowed him to fix.”
Jade balanced himself wiping his shoe clean with a rag, chiming in himself.
“Now he’s trying to go back on his word. Absolute scum.”
“I’d hate for us to pull them out of school, more change is not what that kid needs.”
“I wouldn’t mind limiting my club activities to partake in homeschooling.”
His mother held his face patting his head fondly as she cooed,” You’re a good boy Jade but you have your new job and all those plans I wouldn’t want you to give that up.”
Jasper sighed, scratching the well-groomed stache on his face. “Guess that means we’re ending our contracts early.”
“Seems so…..Now Jade go on get to bed you have school in the morning.”
“Yes, Mama.”
______________________________________________________________
The shade was nice on sunny days. The coolness that came with the blackened space near the fence was like heaven. The spot was farther away from the plastic playground and the other children running all throughout. Minutes ago, you were just like them running wildly at a more loose game of sharks and minnows.
Past the wood-chipped ground was the back of the school building where the teachers were chatting. Disappearing between the rectangular windows, their attention was on something inside. Distracted enough not to scold you for stepping away from the others. The triumph of your expert timing was the true prize. Relishing in the leaves of the trapezoid-shaped bushes pushing through the fence. Crunchy, tickling, and overgrown the feeling against your back was a minor trait of this sacred place.
There was also the oddly pressing poke of something warm coming through the hole of the fences. Turning to confirm your suspicions, you smiled.
“Hi, Papa.”
“Hello, my Starlight!”
Turning around to mirror his position you laid on your tummy to look him in the eye. His tactical glasses were off and his hair had changed. His longer hair was gone, traded out for a faded cut. Different but still your father. You let his larger gruffer fingers hold your own through the fence, his hands for once not shaking.
“Can I tell you all about my adventures?”
“Of course.”
He let you rant, smiling and nodding all along to all your different adventures. You even took off your shoes and showed him the flickering lights in its soles. He waited until you were out of breath before asking the question again.
“Would you like to come with Papa, this time?”
You hesitated kicking your feet against the wooden chips of the playground.
“Are we going back to our home?”
“...No.”
Tilting your head,” Then are we going to the Jade and Floyd’s?”
The names made him shudder as he hurriedly shook his head.
“W-we’re going someplace new….”
“Where are we going?”
He rubbed at his eyebrows. He was getting annoyed. But you knew you had to ask otherwise you’d be brought somewhere you hated. Like that one time.
“(Y/n) you’re curiosity is great but—”
“Does where we’re going have a bed? Does it have a kitchen? Are we going to be only eating the gas place’s sandwiches?”
He scrunched his hands into his hair, grasping for his non-existent flowing hair. His lips were quivering and his eyes were watering. It made you nervous, sitting up from your tummy and on your knees. You sent a look over your shoulder at the window–the teachers were still occupied. Looking down at your father, you silently sighed as you got into character.
“Hirano wherever you're taking that little Starlight, it better be the best place for a kid. Those Leech’s are makin’ sure they're on time at school, they're well-fed, and I haven’t gotten a call from protective services for a good while.”
“I know! I know Mama but they won’t let me leave. I screwed up! I screwed up really bad! If I don’t do another job for that guy, he’s going to have my head! B-but I want to go back to normal! I want to spend my days helping (Y/n) with homework and coming home and watching those silly cartoons with my Starlight–”
Your heart was aching and your eyes were getting watery. You waved a hand at your eyes and cleared your throat sticking your hand through the hole to hold his.
“Y-you’ve got to get your ducks in order before you take your Starlight back–”
“But Mom!”
“Don’t but me…Starlight is safe. You’ve got to make sure you are too before you take them back.”
“But the debt I owe…it’s so big and their patience is thin. I don’t know if I’ll be able to come back….”
Taking a deep breath, you went back to your original position on your tummy.
“Papa, I’m always going to be here. Safe and waiting for you. So you can go on your work trip I don’t mind.”
He smiled at that reaching through the gate to affectionately bop you on your nose.
“That’s right…I’m just on a work trip. I’ll be back before you even notice. I’m gone!”
He began to scooch away but you stopped him calling for him to come back to the fence. You kissed his forehead and he kissed yours.
“I’ll….see you when you got back Papa….”
“Yup! You know it! If you need anything just ask your grandma, okay?”
“...Okay…”
Like that, he disappeared.
You were left to stare at the disfigured leaves and dying branches. Burning the memory of his face into your mind.
“(Y/n)! Your brother’s here to pick you up.”
It took you a minute before you stood up again. Frantically wiping at the water streaming from your eyes, you waited until your throat was no longer croaky to finally respond.
“Coming!”
It was all a blur, saying goodbye to your friends and packing your backpack. The memories of the sweet older lady you used to spend so much time with. She taught you how to help your father, explaining the work he was in. It made your head hurt. Thinking about it now, you can say that’s why you stay at the Leech’s house so much.
“Ready to go little elver?”
“Yeah,” you stuck your hands up while he brought you up higher supporting you with his arms. You didn’t want to but you let your gaze fall on the disfigured spot in the bushes behind the playground fence.
Floyd glared at the spot.
“What’s over there, (Y/n)?”
Visualizing him one last time. You’re glad you could say goodbye. Curling your head into his uniform’s collar, you blinked your extra tears away.
“Nothing anymore…let’s go home, please.”
You missed the smile on Floyd’s face, laughing to himself as he made his way to the family car.
“As always, little elvie!”

an : has NO ONE ELSE noticed how often strawberry is mentioned in xavier's cards?!!! and also, thank you for 500+ follows where did you all come from omg,,,
You were far better than any candy.
It wasn't often that the two of you got to spend a day outside together.
With how your occupations treated the both of you, most of your days off were much-preferred to be spent indoors—cuddling, watching a movie, or whatnot... and Xavier, of course, was always very fond on catching up on his sleep. Not that you ever minded; in fact, you found those extra days of simple rest very welcome. In your little afternoon naps, Xavier's presence by your side was always comfortable under the warmth of the sunlight.
But...
Sometimes, days like this were just as welcome.
Despite the Linkon heat, you wore a big smile on your face as Xavier helped you off the viking ride, gently guiding you as you stepped out of the ceramic boat. You dusted off your dress, looking back at the boat with a wistful gaze.
"That was fun, wasn't it?" He echoed your thoughts, slowly lacing his fingers together with yours in the exact way that made your heart flutter.
You looked back at him with another smile, falling into step with him. In your mind you recalled the brush of the wind in your faces as the ride swung higher and higher, the thump in your heart recalling the thrill of it and turning your smile into a full-blown grin. "Yeah!" you nodded enthusiastically. "I'm glad we went with your suggestion. Starting off with the more relaxing rides and working our way to the fun ones... You get to feel the thrill all the more!"
You caught the way his gaze softened, and he gently squeezed your wrist. "The face you make when you're excited is really pretty."
His comment came casually, and he nodded lightly to himself, almost as if confirming his statement as a pink blush slowly made its way to the tips of your ears.
"When you're embarrassed, too," he added with a smile.
You would never tire of it—how he would always make you fluster with his words, so nonchalant, so unexpected. He had that sort of habit, especially with you—the gall he had to present himself so unassuming and casual, you could never understand it, but it did the job quite well and sent your heart for a ride of its own.
With a little huff, you looked away. "You, too, then!" you could tease back normally, but this time, your response held a little less bite to it, and Xavier laughed.
"If that's how you feel, then I won't complain."
The two of you paused in front of a souvenir shop, and immediately, you felt your eyes brighten. Your grip on his hand tightened. "Xavier—"
"You want to go, right?" He had that same, knowing, gentle smile on his face, and he inclined his head towards the entrance. "Sure, then."
"But... you have to come with me!" Again, you tugged at his arm.
But there was a glint in his eyes, almost as if he knew what you were planning.
Xavier shook his head. "How about this? You can surprise me with something from this shop... And then it'll be my turn to surprise you at the next one we come across." He made a quick glance at the map in his other hand. "I think it sounds fair. Don't you?"
You could pout at his words, but there was truth in what he spoke—even as you looked at him inquisitively, you could find nothing that showed he wouldn't keep this promise, and there was no reason to refuse.
Except...
Curiously, you peered at him.
"You should know exactly what's in store for you," you narrowed your eyes playfully. "Why are you indulging me today?"
Xavier shrugged, then, and even the smile on his lips couldn't prepare you for his next statement, so raw, and honest, and genuine that it made your heart turn—"I like seeing you happy."
There wasn't an ounce of mirth in his eyes when he spoke this, and perhaps, though he was normally straightforward with you and affectionate like this at the most random of times, it would never prevent the butterflies from racing in your stomach.
Blushing, you turned away, letting go of his hand and walking to the store.
"...Wait for me here, then!"
And perhaps, it could have been part of his plan to ease you out of bullying him the way you often did, for it surely worked:
You returned out of the store not with matching bunny headbands like you'd originally intended, but cat ones, instead.
Close enough, you thought.
With a small smile, you shielded your eyes from the sun and glanced around for Xavier, only to spot him lounging near an empty bench by the fountain. It was closer to the bushes and a lot cooler with the breeze, seeing as it was a spot much further away from the crowds of people. His legs were crossed as he flipped through the pages of one of his little pocket books, and the sleeves of his shirt were rolled up, no doubt a sign that he, too, was feeling a little hot with the noontime sun at its peak.
As you approached with the headbands in your hand, your footsteps slowed when you noticed him reach upwards to brush the hair out of his face, his mouth opening slightly to guide the lollipop he had from one side of his cheek to the other.
Despite yourself, you gulped—
And curse how attractive of a boyfriend you truly had.
When he looked up at you, you'd barely registered for yourself that you had settled down to sit beside him, and his eyes drifted to the headbands in your hand.
"...Cat headbands?" He momentarily took the lollipop out of his mouth and raised his eyebrows at you, clearly amused. "I was expecting something else."
But you didn't reply.
Your eyes met, then, and a small, tiny tiny little smirk played on his face. It told you everything you needed to know.
Instead, you noted the slight stick of candy on the corner of his mouth, and when he put the treat back in, you barely noticed the way he took the headband from you and promptly put it over his head. Your eyes instead were focused on the way he languidly swirled his tongue over the candy.
He let out a hum of consideration as he looked at himself through the locked screen of his phone, but when the lollipop shifted around in his mouth again, his eyes turned back to you—
You had been caught.
Instinctively, you pulled your hand away from him, but he was quick as he held it in place, slowly sliding the lollipop back out of his mouth and twirling the stick between his thumb and his forefinger thoughtfully.
"This? Oh... Someone came by with all sorts of candies to sell. The children were crowding him, but I managed to get one." His gaze switched from the lollipop and then back to your face, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Sorry, angel... Did you want one, too?"
"You, um.... You didn't tell me you were gonna get one..." Your voice was thick when you spoke, and you fumbled slightly with your words.
He smiled.
Something in you told you it would be dangerous if you dared to answer, but you found that you couldn't look away from him. "...Mhm," you nodded your head, honestly speaking, even as your breath caught in your throat when he reached over to stroke the side of your face.
"We can look for a candy store next," he murmured.
You watched his eyes drop to your mouth, and he slid the thumb of his hand slowly down to your lip, his smile almost widening at the way your jaw dropped opening ever so slightly.
"Guess you don't want to wait."
Without waiting, his other hand, holding the lollipop, still wet and half-dissolved from how it had stayed in his mouth prior to your arrival, and slid it into yours. Your gazes locked as you instinctively curled your tongue around the candy, wandering over every inch of it, taking in its flavor before swallowing.
And he smiled.
"It's strawberry bubblegum," he nodded at you, again speaking somewhat matter-of-factly, but that same sly, sly smile was still plastered on his face.
Then he pushed.
A slow, filling push, as he slid the pop further into your mouth.
You gasped at the feeling, unable to help the way you sucked on the candy, unable to stop yourself from maintaining eye contact and seeing every little way pure delight would make its way to his features.
Your tongue swirled over the lollipop, lips parting when he withdrew it, feeling the way your mouth would stick with sweetness before he was guiding it back into you, twirling the stick between his fingers and allowing you to taste it again, and again. And he remained silent as he did it; slowly, precisely guiding the treat in and out of your mouth, having you breathe carefully through your nose as you looked up at him with your eyes half-lidded.
The edges of your mouth were coated with saliva and melted sugar, sticky as you swallowed all of the flavor that you could, dissolving the candy with your tongue as much as you possibly could.
When the candy remaining on the stick was considerably small, he pulled the treat out of your mouth and back into his, biting it off with an almost cheeky grin.
"It's good, isn't it?" he hummed, making a show of licking his fingers clean in front of you, watching as your eyes shifted to once again follow the movements of his tongue, and smirking slightly as your breathing became short and quick.
"Something wrong, angel?" he tilted your head back up to meet his eyes, voice so soft that you could melt. He noted the way your skin was wet and sticky, shining with the residue of the candy, and he didn't wait for your answer.
Instead, he leaned over to lap at your chin, quick, small kitten licks up your jawline until he was kissing you, making you taste the thick, sweet flavor of the strawberry lollipop still llingering in your mouths.
When he pulled away, you were dazed, your heartbeat erratic, barely processing the way he handed you a wipe to actually properly clean your face, your lips turning down into a pout.
"...You're unfair, Xavier," you whined.
You pouted even as he placed your headband onto your head, clearly smiling with satisfaction at the way the both of you matched.
"Why's that, angel?" he hummed, feigning innocence like he often did.
And it pissed you off, it really did—he was infuriating when he wanted to be, even after all he'd done just now, the taste of the candy still lingering on the tip of your tongue.
"Oh, come on! How can you do all of that and act like nothing happened?" you huffed. "I want you..."
His eyes crinkled up in joy as he laughed, reaching over to pat your head. "But we're here for the rides, aren't we? You said you'd go on all of them."
When you crossed your arms and looked away, pressing your thighs together in a way that he definitely noticed, he only chuckled once more and gave you a small kiss on the top of your head.
"Later," he murmured, "I promise. But for now... We shouldn't waste our admission tickets."
You couldn't argue after that.
He had a point, after all—and luckily for you, in the end, it wasn't too hard for you to let your arousal slip off your mind for the rest of the day.
Instead, you simply enjoyed being in his company.
Each ride you took, from the drop tower to the rollercoaster to even a little game of bumper cars, was as exhilarating as the last. Even winning a target game against him by barely a single point had you jumping up and down with glee, your arm carrying a big, fluffy white bunny that you confidently stated looked a lot like him. And almost like an unspoken promise, he didn't tease you any more than he already had—the cotton candy remained cotton candy, the marshmallows remained marshmallows, and the animal crackers were eaten just as they should be.
By the time you both had walked back to your apartment, the little bag in his hand containing whatever "surprise" he'd gotten for you rustled against his wrist, and you peered curiously into it once you settled with him on the couch.
"Candy?" you questioned doubtfully as you pulled out a little packet of licorcice, but your eyes shone when you eagerly popped it into your mouth and chewed.
Xavier shrugged, leaning back into the couch. "That... last time we tried snacks together was fun, so I figured you'd appreciate another one."
You almost laughed. "But those were my childhood snacks! These are just your typical candy! We could've tried these any day, you know?"
He raised an eyebrow, taking a chewable candy into his mouth. "We could've worn animal ears any other day, too."
This time you grinned, and settled into his arms. "Yeah, you're right. I have a sweet tooth, anyway, so I'll gladly eat candy with you. You didn't need to set this up..."
You fished into the bag and pulled out a smaller bag of chocolate bits, its brand unfamiliar to you as you held it up.
"Oh, I thought you'd like that one," Xavier spoke first this time. "You like milk chocolate, don't you?"
Something in your heart sparked at the mention, and you couldn't help but smile. "You remembered!"
Your hands were eager as you opened up the packet, unwrapping one piece and putting it into your mouth.
The first bite had your eyes sparkling wide, noting how it melted into your mouth as you chewed.
Xavier looked at you, amused. "Is it good?"
You were excited as you took out another piece of chocolate, and you nodded—this time, you closed your eyes to savor the taste, letting yourself relax into the richness of its flavor. "Mmm... t'so good..." You'd barely noticed the way your satisfaction had the tone of your words twisting into something mildly inappropriate, your eyes still closed as you chewed. And you couldn't have registered that particular smile edge at Xavier's lips once more.
But Xavier wouldn't let you off the hook that easily.
"Hmm. Could I try some?" His voice was close to your ear when he murmured out his words, but you were happy to oblige him, clearly not catching onto his intentions.
You held up the bag of chocolates for him, taking yet another into your mouth—
Instead, he smirked down at you and gently set the chocolates back into the bag with the rest of the candy, pushing it off the couch as his lips found yours.
Your eyes widened, his tongue mixing with yours and tasting for himself the milkiness of the chocolate you'd eaten, his own eyes half-lidded as he lowered you onto the couch. When your head hit the armrest, all sense of arousal from earlier at the theme park came rushing back to you in waves, and you gave in.
Xavier pulled away only to kiss you once more with increasing fervor, and you moaned into the kiss, feeling any rational thought seep from your head within seconds. Your arms were around his neck and his hand was in your hair, your clothed bodies flush against each other as the kiss, the moment, became steadily more passionate, steadily more heated.
The bag of candy slumped on the ground beside the couch, easily long-forgotten with the way his lips moved against yours, his tongue soft and wet in your mouth as the heat slowly began to crawl over to your cheeks. When he pulled back, you were flushed, breathless. His body hovered over yours, his hair hanging over your face, his eyes displaying a lingering sense of desire that mirrored your own.
You swallowed thickly.
"Yeah," Xavier breathed, his voice hushed. He licked his lips. "The chocolate tastes good."
You could barely believe he was still talking about that.
"I-I don—"
"But... I have an idea of what would taste better."
He cut off the beginnings of your protest with a little smirk, and you could see the way his eyes raked over your body to where the skirt of your dress had ridden up just enough to expose the side of your panties.
Your heart thrummed loudly in your chest.
"Wh- what would that be?" You tried testing him, tried to look into his eyes to gauge what his next move was.
"You don't know, angel?" He murmured as he drew closer to you once more, lips barely touching yours, his hot breath fanning over your face.
Feebly, you whimpered, but you didn't dare make a move.
Xavier dipped down to bury his face into your neck, and breathed in deeply. "You smell like strawberries."
Your breath hitched.
"Did you plan this? Your lotion... It's new."
You felt his hands snake underneath your dress, pushing the fabric upwards to grip firmly on your waist. The contact on your bare skin made your eyelids flutter closed.
"F-for you," you replied, your breath shaky.
"For me?"
"Y-you... You like strawberry, so I thought I, um... would make you happy with it..."
Xavier pulled back away from you with a warm smile, his hand leaving your waist momentarily to brush the hair out of his face.
"You always make me happy no matter what you do, angel," he spoke sincerely, genuinely, despite the heated moment that the both of you had just shared. But his eyes narrowed almost playfully, and he tilted his head to the side with a short laugh. "But you don't know how much I've been waiting to eat you up because of that scent."
His words made you whine, a mixture of both pride and embarrassment coarsing through your body at the fact that you had been the one to get him all needy like this for you.
"So, angel..." Xavier trailed his fingertips over your thighs, pushing them apart as he shifted downwards, closer to your core. Another smile teased at his lips when your breath hitched, but his eyes never left yours. "May I?"
You threaded your hands into his hair, and your eyes fell closed.
"Okay."
His lips were on your thighs then, warm and soft as he trailed his kisses upwards. And the sensation of it all made you shiver, but you could almost feel the way it affected him, too. He'd let out soft sighs against your skin, drinking in your scent and your warmth, and then his kisses would almost get needier, craving you just as much as he made you crave him.
You gasped the minute he pressed himself closer to your clothed cunt, breathing in your scent yet again and then poking his tongue out at the wetness that had gathered in your center. Then from there, his movements became quick—his hands shifted beneath your hips, lifting them upwards towards him, your legs draped over his shoulders as he pushed your panties to the side. You couldn't help the way your mouth fell open with a drawn-out moan of his name once he ran his tongue through your folds, licking a wet stripe from your slit upwards.
Your fingers gripped desperately into his hair.
Such a simple motion already had you reeling.
"You even taste like fucking strawberries," he mumbled, before he repeated the motions, long, slow, languid licks that geadually turned to gentle lapping at your wetness. His tongue moved upwards to flick occasionally at your clit, and you could revel in the way he looked—so lost in your taste, his quiet groans reverberating through your body.
And then your thighs trembled around his head, and your eyes widened at the smooth, silky prodding of his tongue as it finally slid inside of you.
"O- oh, god," you leaned your head back against the armrest of his couch, your eyes falling shut once more.
You could have sworn you felt him smile.
With another moan, your hand fell from his head back onto the couch, searching for purchase only for him to reach out, taking advantage of the way you arched your back, and catch your hand with his.
He laced your fingers through together even as he continued to swirl his tongue in your heat, drinking up your arousal, pressing his face closer and closer into you—despite the obscenity of his ministrations and the noises that fell from your lips, the simple action of holding your hand almost made you swoon.
And he didn't dare let go of it.
"I— haah— Xavi—!"
Feeling a familiar knot form in your stomach, you began to languidly roll your hips against his face, matching the way his tongue would dance over and in your folds. In response, Xavier moved with fervor in his actions, focusing on sucking at your clit, flicking his tongue in ways he knew you loved best.
You barely noticed the way his other hand had also left its spot by your hips before a finger entered where his tongue had earlier been—he hooked it inwards, curling just right to hit your sensitive spot, and you let out another loud moan.
"Fuck—! X-Xavier!" You threw your head back, gripping his hand tightly, your other digging desperately into his couch. Your body writhed, a sharp rush of pleasure making you shudder and cry out more of his name as he continued to swirl around your clit, and another finger carefully prodded at your hole.
You couldn't see the way he smiled at you, but you felt it—felt it in the way he sucked on your bud, felt it in the way he stretched you out and moved his fingers in and out of you, until you snapped.
Your hips bucked upwards and into him, holding in place, as your body succumbed to the pleasure.
"X—Xavi—er!" You cried, and his hand holding yours made sweet, gentle caresses over your skin, his tongue still lapping up all that you had to give him. He let out a hum as he moved from your cunt, to your thighs, to your belly, and up to the exposed skin on your neck, leaving a loving trail of kisses, and then he rest his forehead against yours.
"Did that feel nice?" he whispered, lips meeting yours in quick, fond pecks, blue eyes nearly shimmering with how much affection he held for you.
It was more than nice, you thought, but you answered him with a kiss. And as he continued to kiss you back, Xavier edged his hand downwards, slowly, slowly, before the tip of his cock nudged against your entrance—
The contact made you gasp and arch upwards. "Xavi—?!"
"Nnh... Please, angel?" He sighed, nuzzling your nose, massaging your hand. "'M not done with you yet. You can give me more, right?"
You whimpered.
You could feel the sensitivity from your earlier orgasm, unsure if you could truly push yourself for another one. But his cockhead would dip in so... nicely. Xavier was teasing, testing you as he waited for your reply—
And you couldn't resist.
When you gave him a feeble nod, he smiled.
"That's my girl."
The praise made you shiver with delight as he pushed into you slowly, setting an unhurried place, his lips back onto your skin as he nibbled just over your collarbone.
"Ngh... Xavier..." you whined as he slid all the way into you and his teeth grazed your skin, the sting of his bite somewhat foreign, but not unwelcome. "T-tomorrow, we have a..."
"Wear a scarf," he mumbled, barely looking up at you before he shifted to suck on the area next to the mark he'd just made, his intentions with you very clear. In seconds, every roll of his hips against yours, coupled with the way he would bruise at your skin and leave visible evidence of your activities, had you throwing your head back with a moan.
"Mmf—fuck, Xavi," you gripped his body tightly against yours, feeling the way his cock would stretch your walls so perfectly.
"Mh? 'S it good?"
He angled his thrust right against the spongey spot in your walls, and you gasped, feeling the way he would smile against your neck.
It was clear affirmation for him, if your moans of his name didn't already give him enough of it—and despite the fact that you had already cum once, he was adamant on getting you to that high once more.
"Feels good for me, too," he groaned as his pace began to pick up, the faint sounds of skin slapping reaching your ears. Each stroke of his length moved with purpose, hitting that same spot over and over and over, your mouth falling open in whimpers and moans of his name.
"Ah— X- Xavier!" You bucked your hips to match his pace, his grip on you getting tighter, his breath hot and heavy against your neck.
Your eyes met, and you keened at the way his hair fell over his face, his eyes searching yours for something you couldn't name. "...You're so beautiful, angel," he breathed, nearly panting, his thrusts becoming quicker and more erratic.
And you could have thrown the words back at him, were you not so lost in your pleasure as you clenched around his cock, gripping his hand tightly in yours.
"C-close— Xavi—!"
You began panting, your vision hazy, as he rut his hips into yours.
"Mhm— almost there— angel— fuck—"
One final thrust had him collapsing onto your body, pulling your own release out of you as he spilled inside, his cock twitching within your walls as he came.
"Xavier..." you whined, reaching to wrap your arms around him, almost cradling him as he groaned into your skin. "Xavier, I..."
He hushed you with a sloppy kiss, and you could feel the way a significant amount of energy had seeped from his body as he gave you a tiny little smile.
"I love you too, angel," he mumbled, before he was sliding down your body once more, your eyes widening when he settled between your thighs yet again.
"H-huh? What are you—ah—!"
You shuddered and gasped at the contact of his tongue back on your folds, still sensitive as you pushed his cum out of you. But yet his eyes remained on yours, and he stuck out his tongue out to continue lapping at the mess he'd made in your cunt.
"Xavier!" you cried. "P-please, no more...!"
He shook his head slightly. "Shh, angel. Don't worry, relax. Just let me clean you up," he mumbled, taking a dollop of your fluids into his mouth, and then swallowing as you watched, your face flushing red.
There was a small, almost cheeky smile lifting the corners of his mouth when he raised his head slightly.
"It's better than candy."
⁺₊ / an: took a break from requests to get this up before we all get "unique aftertaste", bc this was mildly inspired by the trailer! <3 xavi with food play has been on my mind a lot, if it wasn't obvious yet...

Free Ride Masterlist
Summary: Your taxi driver is surprisingly familiar.
🌛For @moonknight-events MK Bingo Spring 2024 Event🌜
A/N: Set in London, Jake is driving a black cab in my mind for some reason.
Warnings: Jake being mistaken for Steven, kisses, awkward silences, over use of italics, typos, not beta read, railroad sentences, please let me know if I've missed a warning!
Word Count: 1161
You got into the cab quickly, the cold night air raking its nails over your skin. You pulled your coat a little higher and shivered.
The bar crawl hadn’t exactly gone to plan. Two of your friends had had to check out early, and a third had hooked up with someone they’d met while getting a round. You’d decided to call it a night.
“Hi,” you greeted the driver, about to give your address when you pause in surprise. “Steven?”
Jake freezes, watching your reflection in the rear view mirror.
“Steven Grant, you, you live on the floor above me.” You smile. “I didn’t realise you drove a cab?”
He swallows, raising his chin up in a nod, his mind racing. He’d left it far too long to deny it. “I… just, part time.” He spoke quietly, adding a croak to his voice to disguise the difference in accent.
“You okay?”
“Yeah… cold.” He tapped his throat, “so, erm, home?”
You nod, “yeah. Sorry you’re unwell, hope you feel better soon.”
He shrugged. “It’s nothing.”
You nod again, something about the energy in the cab seemed… odd. Different. You were on pretty good terms with Steven since he’d helped you out when you were lugging your shelves up the stairs (they were too wide for the lift.) You chatted when you ran into each other going out or coming back. Somehow you both usually ended up going to the local sainsbury’s at the same time for your weekly shop and had kind of settled into a not exactly planned routine where you would wait for each other and do it together.
Steven talked. A lot. In the best way possible. Excitedly and passionately. Bubbly and enthusiastic. He genuinely listened as well, asking follow up questions and nodding. But even when he was listening, he wasn’t quiet. Always adding in ‘hmms’ and ‘oh right’, and little snippets of commentary that warmed your heart.
Now he was quiet. Pulled in and zipped up.
Maybe it was just the cold making his throat hurt. You’d have to get him something to help, maybe tomorrow you could knock on with some ginger, lemon, and honey tea.
Maybe, maybe, maybe…
You stilt your head to the side as you watch him drive. He takes a turn smoothly, travelling down the late night roads without as much as a pause. Or a word.
It just didn’t make sense.
How unlike Steven he was being. You pause, for a second entertaining the idea that he wasn’t actually him. But that made no sense did it? He’d have to be an identical twin, and besides, he was talking you back to your flat. If he wasn't Steven, how would he know where you lived?
“I didn’t know you could drive?” You say, speaking up a little to try to hide the spike of nervousness that had settled in your gut. You had been so sure that he’d told you he couldn’t… though had that just been an excuse? A reason to tag along with you when you went food shopping? Was his quietness now embarrassment from being caught out?
“Hmm,” he nodded, glancing back at you again in the rear view mirror. “I don’t mention it… much.”
You nod. “Yeah.” You pick at your fingernails as he drums his hands against the steering wheel, waiting for the light to change.
The silence stretches out, almost blanketing the low grumble of the engine. It’s sickening. Nerve wrecking.
“How’s work?” You blurt out, and then quickly clarify. “Both I mean, how’s driving going today and how’s the museum?” He glances back at you again, the action is starting to remind you of a priest in a confessional.
“It’s all… normal.”
“Normal?”
“Fine. Normal.”
You don’t speak again until he pulls up by the block of flats, putting on the handbrake and getting into neutral. He puts his hands on his lap, folded neatly with his palms facing upwards.
“How much do I owe you?” You ask.
“Nothing.”
“What?”
“Nothing. It’s on me.”
“Stev-”
He turns quickly, flicking off his seatbelt in a practised move so that he can twist his body fully around to face you.
For a moment you think he’s going to say something, reveal some grand secret but instead he pauses before giving you a very weak smile.
“It’s on me.” His voice is quiet, barely there at all. And, for the briefest second you could have sworn that his accent was different.
“Thank you.”
He shrugs politely, dismissing it as if it was nothing.
Before he can turn away you reach out for his shoulder, the action instinctive and leaving you lost for a reason why you did it.
He glances at your hand for a second before looking back to your face.
You lean forward. “Thank you.” You repeat softly, and slowly kiss his left cheek, giving him plenty of time to pull away and rebuff you if he wanted to.
Instead he leans slightly into the touch, swallowing and turning his head towards you. His nose brushes against yours and you think he’s going to turn back to facing the wheel, but instead he presses his lips to yours hesitantly.
You squeeze his arm, surprised but responsive as you kiss him back.
He kisses you slowly, but intentionally. Swiping the tip of his tongue along your bottom lip before opening your mouth with his own and licking inside. He groans, low in his chest as the kiss becomes hungrier, boarding on desperation as he presses as close to you as he physically can in his position.
When suddenly he pulls back, blinking heavily. A mumbled, ‘sorry’, just escaping his lips.
“It’s okay.” Your voice is quiet too, your mind only just catching up with what happened.
He turns back, putting his seatbelt on with a click and staring straight ahead. “Have a good night.”
“I, erm, I’ll see you later.” You mutter as you get out, feeling almost shaky from what just happened. Your thoughts reeling.
You get up to your flat in a daze. You’d kissed him, well, he’d kissed you. Did that mean anything? Had you done something to chase him off?
You change into your pyjamas and brush your teeth, staring at your reflection in the bathroom mirror.
There’s a soft knock at your front door and you freeze. Wait.
Maybe it’s a neighbor's door. Maybe it’s noise from another flat.
There’s a knock again, still soft and your phone buzzes. A message from Steven, ‘can we talk?’
Fuck.
You head to the door, checking the peep hole and confirming that yes, it is Steven outside your door. You unlock and open it quickly.
“Steven, I-”
You don’t get a chance to finish your sentence before he moves forward quickly and kisses you deeply. His hands settle on your hip, the back of your neck as he walks you further inside and kicks the door shut with the heel of his foot.

A Jedi in Arrakis III (Paul Atreides x Reader)
Summary: While on the run from Empire troops, Jedi padawan Y/N comes to find out that hyper-driving in a compromised craft can have some major setbacks when she discovers not only is on a new planet but a whole new galaxy as well...
Warnings: 18+ only, eventual smut, eventual pinv! sex, current fluff and eventual angst, kissing, simp!Paul, spoilers for Dune 1 and 2, somewhat canon aligned
A/N: Sorry for the hiatus, loves! I'm back and ready to grace you with my works!!
Dividers by @firefly-graphics Banner by @vase-of-lilies
Part I Part II Part IV
The Baron was a man of heavy weight and heavy glutton, he liked food and power with women waiting for him. He liked the power that Geidi Prime gave him, but most of all, he liked the power that controlling Spice, no controlling Arrakis gave him.
This is why he felt anger towards the Emperor for forcing his soldiers off-planet and handing his cash cow to the damned soft-hearted Duke Leto and his house.
He hated House Atredies with a passion and he could recall the countless interactions he had with Duke Leto, the heated arguments he had with the man.
Which is why he felt happy when the Emperor proposed the slaying of House Atreides, the slaughtering of those damned fools.
"There is a rumor floating around", one of his advisors said, "of a girl from not of this galaxy that the Duke has taken in, someone with some extraordinary abilities. The Emperor wants her alive, especially since the na-Duke is said to be quite taken with the girl."
The Baron grumbled as the sound of the Sardaukar's throaty chanting filled his ears.
It was another hot day on Arrakis, the dry heat of the planet making Y/N wonder why Paul and other members of House Atreides were wearing all-black. Y/N had been offered a loose, beige dress that she wore with a scarf covering that concealed her head and neck from the harshness of the sun that came down on the planet.
"Tell me more about Arrakis", she said to Paul as he led her outside. "I feel like we've only ever talked about our home planets."
"Everything I learned is from the archives", Paul began as she noticed a place of worship ahead of them. "The people who inhabit the planet call themselves Fremen, they're the only ones to ever to successfully live here. The sandstorms here are brutal, they ravage and destroy anything that crosses them... maybe not a sandworm, but anything yes."
Paul spoke in a gentle yet enthusiastic voice that made her stomach flop around and she felt her ears begin to get hot. She was embarrassed at the way he was stirring feelings, forbidden feelings in her as they walked along the compound.
"They value water here the most and the Spice they are constantly exposed to gives them blue eyes. Not much is known about them since they prefer to remain to remain remote."
"And you said Spice is what is needed to travel?" she said, Paul nodded.
"We rely a lot on Spice, which is why it is so unheard of that you traveled here without Spice", Paul clarified. "The Emperor gave my father control of this planet to find peace with the Fremen People but before, House Harkonnen controlled it."
Y/N saw inside the temple many people praying; religion wasn't something uncommon back home, there were so many from the Mandolorians to the Sith but she had never really seen such worship before.
"What are they praying to?" she asked, gesturing to the people.
"To Shai-Hulud", Paul said as a warm breeze came by, "it is also a Fremen custom to spit at one's feet with how they value water."
"We greet and say goodbye by saying 'may the force be with you'", she said with a small grin.
She missed home despite the intrigue this galaxy brought, although she wondered how much was about the galaxy than it was her interest and growing intrigue with Paul.
🪐
Jedi law dictated that love or any form of romantic feelings were forbidden yet Y/N could recall a conversation she had with Anakin about the law.
"It's an odd law", Anakin had said, "love is the strongest form of the Force yet it can also be your weakness."
Y/N wondered about it as she walked the halls of the compound; Paul had been pulled away by his mother, Lady Jessica as she said that the Reverend Mother was wishing to speak to Paul. It gave her time to contemplate on her growing feelings for Paul with BB following behind, letting out a little chirp every so often.
Lady Jessica had been pleasant to her, the woman reminding her of some of the older Jedi Masters with her way of speech and stance, but Y/N had managed to piece together that it had to be from strict upbringings and belief of the Bene Gesserit.
"Ah, F/N", a familiar voice called out to her and turning around, she saw it was the Duke, himself.
"Oh, Duke Leto", she said, "how nice it is to see you. Thought you'd be caught up doing Duke stuff."
Duke Leto chuckled as he said, "I'm on my way to find Lady Jessica."
"She took Paul to meet with some Reverend woman?" Y/N said with a questioning tone.
Leto sucked in a breath and nodded, Y/N wondered just how this Bene Gesserit ideology worked. It was nothing she had ever seen before back home and seeing the way the Bene Gesserit sisters carried themselves intimidated her just a bit by how their eyes singularly focused on you as if they were truly trying to dissect you right down to your core.
She just hoped that she wasn't about to fall into their cross hairs.
Another night came to Arrakis with cool air and a beautiful night sky that always kept reminding her of Tatoonie as BB charged in the corner. Her hair was down again and she was in another loose muslin nightgown to help with the heat of the planet; she had the doors closed along with the windows as she sat in her room, watching a hologram archival documentary on the planet.
The Duke was pleasant to talk to, he was knowledgeable and kind, and for some reason reminded her of Obi-Wan.
A knock, a familiar knock echoed in her room and she tried to suppress a smile as she knew it was Paul.
Walking to the door, it slid open to reveal the young na-Duke but she could see something was troubling his mind a bit as she greeted him in.
"Something troubling you, Paul?"
Paul looked at her as they sat on the small sofa that was in the room.
"Your way of believing is so simple yet so understandable", Paul breathed, "my mother was supposed to birth a girl, it's how it's been for eons with the Bene Gesserit."
"Why?" she frowned.
"I think... it's so they could eventually get their Kwisatz Haderach", Paul voiced, Y/N frowned. "It's their Messiah, a male heir that possesses the abilities of the Bene Gesserit."
"And you think it's you?"
"I hope it's not me."
She remembered Paul's earlier explanations of the abilities of the Bene Gesserit sisters and their use of something he called 'the Voice', which reminded her of the way the Force could be used to manipulate weak minds.
Paul was quiet for a moment before he scooted closer to her and she felt her breath get caught a bit in her throat as she stared at him.
"I have these... visions", Paul said, staring into her eyes. "I dream of things that I'm never too sure of and for months, I dreamed of a girl... I dreamed of you."
Y/N felt heat rushing through her as the sound of the hologram documentary rang quietly in the room.
"And ever since you've arrived, it's felt like I've been living a dream... a dream that I never want to wake up from."
And before she knew it, she felt Paul's lips against hers in a soft, gentle kiss and her heart raced as she felt a surge of electricity go through her...
So many thoughts were running through her mind in that quick moment and maybe it was the instant connection she had felt towards Paul, maybe it was some odd corruption from the Sith side of the Force that made her entangle her fingers through his dark, curly hair and push her body against his lithe frame.
But all she knew at the moment was that Paul felt like home.

every moment with you is precious
synopsis: nikolai takes you on a cute lil picnic date...
content: fem!reader, tooth-rotting fluff (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)~✧
"Hello precious! You look beautiful as always."
A giggle escaped as Nikolai embraced you, his strong arms lifting you off your feet and spinning you around. He placed you back down before opening the passenger door like a gentleman, motioning for you to enter his car.
"Where are we going?" You curiously asked as he got into the driver's seat.
"That's for me to know and you to find out." He chuckled to himself as he started driving.
You smiled at his answer, shaking your head as you looked away. What did you even expect? His answer was very Nikolai-like. This was typical, as he never told you about any of your dates beforehand because it would "spoil the surprise," as he puts it. But to his surprise, you had grown accustomed to his whimsical behavior and were even fond of it. Dates with Nikolai were always far from dull because you never knew what to expect from him, but that's what was exciting. Most of the time, he preferred to do something fun and spontaneous instead of a pre-planned date, but that didn't mean the man wasn't ever romantic.
You leaned your head against the car window and hummed to the music from the radio, though you shortly felt a poke on your cheek that caused your head to turn to see the culprit.
"Keep both hands on the wheel, silly."
After about 45 minutes, many song sing-alongs and laughs later, Nikolai finally parked in a grassy location. Behind exiting the car, you looked in awe at the enchanting view. Nikolai came up behind you, immediately engulfing you in a hug, wrapping his arms around you with his chin resting on the top of your head.
It was a secluded area, not a person in sight, just the two of you and the beautiful scenery to ravish. The lush greenery surrounding you was a sight to behold. Nikolai didn't miss your fascinated expression and took this opportunity to tease you, booping your nose.
"Pretty isn't it? I knew you would like it."
"I love it! Where did you find this place?"
"Oh, I have my ways.." He flashed you one of his signature charming smiles.
Nikolai carefully laid out the picnic blanket on the verdant grass, and you observed with delight as he meticulously unpacked all sorts of seemingly homemade food from the picnic basket he had brought. He always went the extra mile to impress and pamper you, leaving you feeling appreciative of his sweet gestures.
"Nikolai.. you didn't have to do all of this.."
"Shh love, it's nothing at all. You deserve this."
He placed cushions where the two of you would be sitting to provide extra comfort. You helped him appealingly arrange the food and listened as he explained everything he had lovingly prepared, each a testament to his thoughtfulness and effort to make the day special for you.
"Oh, and one last thing!" He pulls out a flower bouquet, presenting it dramatically to you.
"Pretty flowers for my pretty girl."
You graciously accepted the gorgeous blooms, admiring and inhaling the sweet scent of the bouquet that permeated the air.
"Thank you, Kolya.. these are so beautiful."
He kissed your cheek and quietly uttered something you nearly missed. "Not more than you." He carefully wet a paper towel and wrapped it around the flowers' stems so they stayed fresh throughout and after the date.
"Shall we start eating?" He asked, to which you nodded in agreement.
As you ate together, you listened to Nikolai talk about a new magic trick he learned recently and smiled as he enthusiastically spoke, only taking a break when he heard you start to speak.
"This is so yummy, Nikolai! Thank you for making this food.."
His cheeks flushed, happy to see you enjoying his cooking.
"Anything to see that smile, darling.."
Nikolai noticed small flowers near him in the grass and absent-mindedly picked some while he continued to talk, forming a tiny bouquet in his hand. His words became fainter as his eyes diverted to something in the distance, a grin growing on his face.
"Ohh, look!" He pointed to a pond close to where the both of you were sitting.
You turned your head to see multiple baby ducks swimming in the pond following the mother duck, and you couldn't help but smile at how adorable the scene was.
"Aww."
"Let's get closer!" Nikolai says exuberantly, taking your hand and making you follow him near the pond edge. Both of you were now seated in the grass, still hand-in-hand.
"They're so fuzzy." You cooed as you watched the ducklings splish-splash in the water. Turning your head toward Nikolai shortly after, you noticed how sweet and innocent he looked at this moment. Moments when he was like this were one of the many reasons why you fell for him in the first place. It's like there wasn't a single evil bone in his body. Something about watching Nikolai wide-eyed, excited by watching baby ducks while holding your hand, made your brain short-circuit.
"I kinda want to take the babies home and put them in a kiddie pool." He states humorously.
"I'm not sure mama duck would like that.."
"Kidding, dove!" He pouts, making your heart flutter.
You continued to watch the pond before feeling something in your hair.
Fingers lightly brushing against your hair and small little pokes. Turning your head, you see Nikolai putting the flowers he had picked earlier in your hair.
"Kolya, why do you call me dove?" You coyly ask as he continues to play with your hair, ultimately deciding to braid it. Even after all this time with him, you still felt shy being so close to him in such an intimate manner. Hands positioned in your lap as you're facing him, admiring his soft features. Feeling his ungloved hands running through your hair in such a delicate and loving manner made your heart full.
"Because you're as gentle and beautiful as one, my love." His fingers twisting and turning as he braided, weaving flowers into your hair, making it prettier than ever. Your face reddened after hearing his comment, causing you to look down at your lap, only for your chin to be lifted again by his finger to make you look at him.
"You're so cute." He placed a peck on your lips, leaving you even more flustered.
"Annnnd, done! Now we're matching." He proudly exclaimed, accomplished as he finished doing your hair, pulling a few small strands of hair to the front to frame your face. You looked down at the braid, admiring how the flowers decorated your hair.
"Want to have dessert now?" He asks, making you giggle before nodding. Nikolai always loved sweets, and he especially loved sharing them with you.
He unpacked a slice of strawberry cake, not having missed the stare of fascination that came from you.
"You made this?"
"I sure did, dovey~ I know strawberries are your favorite." He picked the strawberry off the top of the cake and moved his fingers towards your lips, wanting to feed it to you. The berry barely touched your lips before you opened your mouth and took a bite. Nikolai seemed very happy to feed you, grazing his thumb against your bottom lip as you finished chewing before pulling his hand away.
"I brought a container of strawberries for you in case you wanted more." He smiled.
"Kolya.. this is so sweet of you. You're spoiling me.."
"Nonsense! I'll buy you all the strawberries in the world, you deserve everything and more."
You and Nikolai shared the delicious cake and continued to chat, taking this chance to wipe some cream off his lip before licking your thumb.
"H-Hey, I wanted to do that to you.." He sulked adorably.
"Too late." You laughed and fed him a strawberry instead, which he happily ate from your hand.
The sun was slowly getting close to setting, and he was now lying on the blanket, with you resting on top of him on his chest, feeling the warmth of his body and the calming rhythm of his heartbeat. One of his hands entangled in your hair, and the other was by his side. Your fingers traced along his chest and eventually found their way toward his lone hand, which was inching to enclose your own.
"Thank you for today Kolya. The flowers, the delicious food, everything.."
You peppered kisses on his cheeks, nose, jawline, and neck, causing his skin to flush with a rosy hue. He closed his eyes for a moment, savoring the affectionate gesture. Feeling the warmth of his skin under your touch, you couldn't help but smile, knowing that you were bringing him joy.
He had never felt so light, so free.
"Dove?"
"Hm?"
"You know how I always wanted to be free and out of the cage of my emotions? You make me want to be even more trapped than I was before. In this cage of love that I never want to escape from."
The sudden confession had left you speechless. You had known about Nikolai's ideals- one that many find strange, for a while now, but he'd never talked about it in a manner that involved you. It touched you nonetheless to hear him admit reality, one where he had already chained his heart to you despite wanting the freedom he once so desperately craved. Maybe, just maybe, this was the freedom he covertly desired all along.
"I want to be around you and with you forever." He whispers sweetly while slowly opening his eyes to look back at you again. The rays of sunlight illuminated his beautiful features, with his captivating eyes shining brightly and his smile outshining the sun. His lips caught yours in a sweet kiss before he flipped you over so you were now on your back with him on top, comfortably laying his head on your chest.
"Kolya.." You softly say while running your hands over his snowy white locks, reaching for the fluffy pom-pom adornment that kept his braid together.
Nikolai hums and looks at you, his eyes sparkling.
"Yes, Моя любов?"
"I'll always be here with you. I can't imagine spending the rest of my life without you either."
Something in Nikolai's mind went haywire as your words reached his ears. He never imagined he would be fortunate enough to encounter someone who not only cared for him but understood him on such a profound and intimate level. He thought he was undeserving of everything you had to offer, the kindness and love you had given him and continue to, despite all he had done in the past. Yet, here you were, gazing at him with gentle, compassionate eyes instead.
He shifted his position so that he was now lying next to you. He pulled you close, enveloping you against his chest while looking into your eyes. You noticed his eyes glistened with emotion as you moved towards his lips. In that moment, his love for you was unmistakable.
As the sun sunk low on the horizon, casting a warm, crimson glow over everything, Nikolai held you tighter, content with this tranquility. He found solace in your presence in this moment, feeling that as long as you were by his side, life was not only bearable but beautiful.

could you write subby lars x dom reader? LIKE the reader is taking care of lars while lars is just whiny and shit yk KSJSKSJSJSSN 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
A/n: There was no need for the Lars slander in this but I think it adds spice.
Warnings: Smut, hand job, Lars being a bitch idk, if you think I missed anything let me know otherwise enjoy!
Lars was a whiny little bitch to everyone and anyone who happened to be around him, and you were no exception. However, you found a way to deal with him.
Usually when Lars was being Lars people just had to except or fight back, but it worked a little different for you two, especially when it came to being behind closed doors.
Lars had been particularly pleasant the past week or so, he'd make you food, tell you about his day and listen when you spoke about yours, set up movie nights, etc.
Until today. Apparently him and James had gotten into it but then you had to deal with listening to it. Truthfully, you had a higher tolerance to his complaints and ramblings but everyone has their limits and their way of dealing with it.
Yours just so happened to be tying Lars' wrists behind his back and jerking him off at such a painfully slow pace, his boxers shoved in his mouth to keep him quiet. At least, to keep him from talking.
Lars was no quieter in the bedroom, whining and crying and begging for you to go faster, to let him cum, crying about how it hurt and he was sorry.
He was twitching and whining in front of you, hips bucking up into your hand, looking for any more friction he could find. "You don't ever shut up, do you?" You asked when he let out a particularly loud whine.
He huffed and shook his head, tears falling from his puffy, red eyes down his wet cheeks. He mumbled something but you couldn't hear him so you begrudgingly took the boxers from his mouth. "Please-please, m'so sorry, jus'lemme cum." He babbled, a pout tugging at his bottom lip. "I-I'll be good, I'll be quiet, promise."
You chewed your cheek. "Really?" You asked, to which he nodded enthusiastically. You thought for a moment, not stopping your slow pace on his leaky and throbbing cock.
You decided he'd had enough. He cried a lot but this seemed excessive, meaning you might've been over doing it. Though he didn't complain, for once.
You moved your hand faster and he gasped, back arching and his eyes rolling back. "Fuck! Fuck, yes, yes, please! So close, m'so close!" He moaned, sobs seeping into his words.
Hot, thick spurts of cum shot from his tip, his mouth fell open in a near silent moan at how good he felt. You kept stroking him, milking him of everything he had until he was begging for you to stop because he was too sensitive.
He fell onto his side, still crying but he smiled, finally satisfied. You undid his wrists and let him lay his head on your lap.
"You know," you started, playing with his hair, "usually, when someone does something nice they get something nice in return." He looked up at you with beady eyes, quickly scrambled to be between your legs, determined to make you feel as good as you made him feel. No, better, you deserved better.

My Love For You
In where the the newest Flame Hashira is inlove with the Wind Pillar CW: Confession - Fluff - Meanbutkind!Sanemi - Insults - f!reader - Sanemixreader WC: 1779 Header - https://ph.pinterest.com/pin/582090320610795897/ This is the first thing i have ever written and I tried my best in writing it! i hope you guys will enjoy it and its a bit unoriginal since there have probably been multiple works that are in the same genre. I also havent fully proofread the story so sorry for any mistakes :(
DO NOT REPOST/REBLOGS ARE APPRECIATED
“Caw! Caw! (L/N)! (L/N)! You have received a letter” your kasugai crow shouted as you opened the window for it to enter.
“Huh? What's this about?” you said as you reached for the letter.
The letter was nicely stored in an envelope which smelled like fresh wisteria. As you looked at the letter further, you realized that it had the Ubuyashiki crest, signalizing that the letter had important value.
“It must be another mission, I hope I'm paired with Mitsuri this time!” you said as you opened the letter. “Oh! Oh! Maybe even Sanemi! I sure hope I'm paired with him.” you murmured as you finally saw the letters' contents.
You were Kyojuro’s little sister and just like him, you were known to be enthusiastic and kind-hearted. When your older brother died, you took in the responsibility of being the next flame pillar. You were a contrast to Sanemi Shinazugawa’s interior and exterior, you looked like a sweet person and you were. While Sanemi looked scary and also had an aggressive personality. So when people found out that you had a massive crush on him, everyone was caught in disbelief. After all, who would like someone as rude as him?
You didn't know why you liked him to be honest, you didn't deny that he didn't need character development but you also couldn't deny that he didn't look good. He looked handsome and he had an insanely good build. He was also very skilled in his work which made you admire him.
As you read the letter, you were notified that there have been many young males that went missing in a nearby village down north. It was suspected that a Kizuki was residing in the village but whether it was an upper moon or a lower moon the master was unsure. However, contrary to the bad news, you soon discovered that you have indeed been paired on a joint mission with the Wind Pillar.
“Oh my gosh! I'm going on a mission with Sanemi?!” you shouted. “Me going on a mission with Sanemi, Alone?” you put emphasis in.
You excitedly screamed as you repeated the news in your head for the nth time. As your mind wandered, you decided to cook Ohagi for Sanemi. You noticed that he always carried the faint smell of Ohagi with him. After some time, you finally finished making the food and noticed that it was almost time to go out on the mission. So, you made sure to look extra pretty by adding a bow at the back of your head and a pair of earrings that you had recently bought. You noticed that your lips felt chapped and decided to use lip balm and a bit of lip tint to make sure that your face didn't look too sickly, not that you were of course.
You took your katana together with the Ohagi and ran towards the meeting place. As you stepped into the Wind Pillar’s yard you didn't find anything except for a few wooden swords on the ground. You looked around once more feeling confused as to where Sanemi was but to no avail, he wasn't there. You told your crow to try and find the Wind Pillar’s crow but as you were about to say it, you heard leaves crunching. You turned to look at where the noises came from and saw him walking towards you.
With the biggest smile on your face you said, “Sanemi! You're here! I was wondering when you would come.”
Instead of greeting you with the same energy, he spoke with coldness and said, “It's Shinazugawa to you.”
You felt hurt because even after trying to be friends with him for months, he was still as cold to you as it started. Still, you brushed off those feelings and smiled at him again, “Sorry! here, have this as a sorry” shoving the decorated box you had in your hands into his face.
He looked at you confused, “What the hell is this?” he muttered.
“Ohagi! You smelled like it so I figured that you must have liked it,” you said happily, “And I made it myself! Go on, try it” You looked at him expectantly.
“No way this is disgusting, why would I eat this?” he walked towards his house leaving you behind.
You catched up to him and said, “Where are you going?”
“To feed this garbage to my dog, actually he doesn't even deserve to eat this. Maybe I'll give it to Iguro.” he spat.
“Oh,” feeling sad, you said, “Okay, i'll just wait for you at the gate” as you walked towards the gate, walking further away from Sanemi.
Sanemi turned to look at you and felt a twinge of hurt in his heart, he was scared of the possibility that he actually hurt your feelings but soon brushed it aside as he went to his kitchen counter and placed the food that you made on top for him to eat later. Afterwards, he went outside to meet you.
You turned around and saw him, “Ready to go?” you said smiling.
“Yeah, let's go,” he said as he waited for you.
You both ran towards the village, not speaking to each other. Usually you would make conversation but you felt a bit conflicted because of what he said earlier at his house, so you decided to just not talk unless needed. Sanemi noticed that you weren't talking, he wanted to say something but he was too shy and he didn't want to damage his pride. So the entire journey there was dead silent.
You guys arrived and sat on a rooftop that had an overview of the entire village, it was still daylight so both of you had the time to investigate. By that time, you had cheered up and decided to try and fulfill your fantasies of you and Sanemi ending up together. Your thoughts were cut off when Sanemi put his hand on your shoulder.
“(L/N),” he said quietly, you turned around in order to face him, “Yes Shinazugawa?” you looked at him confused.
“Sorry,” he then looked into your eyes. “For what?” you said as you smiled and looked at him.
“You know what I mean,” he continued, “I'll eat the stupid ohagi that you made.” He then looked at everything besides you.
“Awww, Shinazugawa! Just say that you want to eat it!” you teased him.
“No I don't! What the hell are you thinking?'' he turned around, “Let's just continue the stupid mission” he said with a tint of embarrasment.
After that fateful day, you and Sanemi started getting closer. He was still mean to you but it wasn't as bad as before. Your feelings started to grow more and you found yourself being more open about your feelings towards him. Despite that, Shinazugawa kept ignoring your love for him.
“Hey Sanemi, can I ask you a question?” you asked. “What?” he looked at you.
“What if I told you, right here and right now, that I'm in love with you?” you said excitedly.
“I would kill you.” he turned around in order to hide the flush forming on his face.
“But Sanemi!” you whined, “Why would you kill me?” you pressed on.
“Because you're an idiot” he started walking away from you.
Sanemi accepted that he also had feelings towards you, he loved you. Yet, with the duties of being a hashira, he couldn't indulge in such luxuries just yet. He had a mission to fulfill, he couldn't fulfill his wishes just yet
Sighing, you finally said, “Okay, i'll go now, I have a mission soon with Muichiro, i'll see you later” you then turned around to leave but heard him speak.
“Stay safe and come back in one piece” that was all you needed to motivate you.
A few days have passed and you still haven't returned home. Sanemi was starting to get worried about you and your whereabouts but he set a focused mind. That was until he overheard a few kakushi talking about you.
A male kakushi whispered, “Oi, did you know that Lady (L/N) and Sir Tokito encountered an uppermoon?”. “Well did they survive?” the female kakushi asked, “Yeah, however Lady (L/N) arrived in critical condition while Sir Tokito arrived with a few cuts, the uppermoon also got away.” said by the male kakushi.
With that Sanemi felt his heart race, he bolted towards the butterfly estate to see you. When he arrived he saw you. You had your entire abdomen bandaged up, with multiple cuts on your body. Luckily with your hashira trained body, you were able to wake up from your coma not even a few days after the fight. There you were eating food and talking to Muichiro who seemed to be deeply thanking you for taking the almost fatal hit for him.
Sanemi rushed to your side and shouted at you, “(Y/N), what the hell happened!?” He looked scared. “How many days have you been here?” he said worriedly.
Muichiro then excused himself because it seemed as if there was something to be discussed between the both of you.
“Sanemi! You're here!” you smiled at him, “I've been here for 5 days”.
“Why was I not notified straight away?” he questioned, “Didn't I tell you to teach your crow to tell me if something bad happens to you?” he said angrily.
“Uhm,” you awkwardly muttered, “I kinda just told my bird not to tell you unless I actually died..” you trailed off.
“What?” he asked in disbelief, “Are you stupid?” he asked you seriously.
Out of nowhere you suddenly spoke, “I love you,” your impulsive thoughts getting the better of you.
The way he came running towards you after finding out that you almost died just made your heart melt and you just wanted to marry him right there.
Sanemi blushed at your statement. He pondered on the thought, what if you actually died? He realized that he should just admit his feelings for you since he didn't know if both of you would come out alive after everything.
He cupped your cheeks and said, “I love you too idiot, don't scare me like that ever again.”
You were shocked to say the least, did he just admit his feelings for you? You then asked him.
“Say that again?” you looked at him. “I love you,” he said shyly, “So much.”
You were mentally screaming and the first thing that came out of your mouth was, “I knew that you loved me back!” you said happily.
“Come on! Say it again! Please?” you whined, “No” was all he said.
The end

Why him?
Muichiro x Reader short series
Mitsuri invites Muichiro to eat with you so you can get to know him better.
Part 2
"I know!" Mitsuri exclaimed enthusiastically. "I'll invite Tokito to eat with us! That way you can get to know him better and spend time with him! I'm the best big sister ever!" Mitsuri sang in her own praise.
"N-n-no no no! I really d-don't want to do that. I w-w-would rather just keep my distance." You pleaded.
"Oh don't worry I'll be there too so there's no reason to be nervous ok?" Mitsuri said bringing out a paper and pen. "I'll write to him now about meeting us for breakfast before we all head out our separate ways!" Mitsuri swiftly wrote a letter then handed it to her crow. You desperately tried to get the letter out of her hand but you were no match for your older sister's strength.
"Get some sleep and don't worry. It's just food ok? We will have fun tomorrow morning!" Mitsuri said, putting her hand on your back to comfort you.
The next morning you dreadfully came out to the common room where you saw Mitsuri and Tokito sitting. You debated on turning around and running back to your room but just then Mitsuri had caught sight of you.
"Goooooood morrrningggg little sister!" She said with the biggest grin you had seen her have since the last time Iguro came over.
"Good m-morning..." You said grumpily sitting down.
Muichiro did not say a word but ate silently.
"Soooooooo how is everyone feeling today?" Mitsuri said, trying to make conversation.
"Fine..." You said.
"Healthy." Muichiro said looking as uninterested as ever. "Did you want to eat together for a reason?" He asked.
"Oh, I just thought it would be fun since we are both Hashira and here at the same time you know? Plus you know my sister is here too."
"Ok." Mucihro said, and turned back to his food. You shot Mitsuri a glance that was supposed to convey how bad of an idea this was and how awful it was going.
"Sooooooo you ran into my sister the other day?" Mitsuri said attempting a conversation again.
"No, she ran into me. You should train her better." He said.
"M-m-mitsuri! I told you this was a m-mistake! H-he is a-aw-awful!" You shouted letting your embarrassment about yesterday's events get the better of you. Muichiro looked between the two sisters in curiosity then went back to his food, deciding he wasn't interested.
"I've finished my meal and have some business to attend to. Goodbye." He said getting up to leave.
"WAIT!" Mitsuri yelled. "OH! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! I ASKED YOU HERE BECAUSE MY LITTLE SISTER HAS A CRUSH ON YOU!"
You felt all the blood drain from your face. How could she say that to him?? You didn't know what to do. You felt such an overwhelming amount of emotions. Embarrassment, anger, sadness. It was all too much for you to take and you felt like you might explode. You ran out of the room and hurried back to your designated room, closing the door just in time before tears began to fall.
Why was Muichiro so mean? Why him? Why did you have a crush on such a dreadful person? How could Mitsuri out your feelings like that? You put your face in your hands and continued to weep. When you heard a faint knock on your door.
"G-g-go away Mitsuri. I can't b-be-believe you." You spoke with venom in your voice.
"I'm not Mitsuri and I'm coming in." You heard Muichrio respond and your door opened. Why would he come here? To insult you further perhaps. It's not like he ever had anything nice to say.
"You're crying" He said as he sat down next to you.
"Great o-observation." You replied.
"Are you crying because of what Miss Kanroji said?"
"J-j-just forget what she said, it's not true. I think you're a-awful, cruel, and m-mean." You spat.
"I am?" He asked and seemed to daze off.
"Yes! You insult e-everyone even when they are trying to h-help you and you don't seem to care for a-anything."
Muichiro came back from his daze and looked down at his hands... "Hmm... I think I used to know someone just like that..."
"You must have looked in a m-mi-irror recently." You retorted. Muichiro took no notice of your harsh words.
"Hmm... It's too bad you actually despise me... I was quite flattered to hear you had a crush on me."
You froze... he was flattered?? You couldn't wrap your mind around what he was saying. He was so indifferent to everything could he actually be flattered you had a crush on him?
"I n-never said I despise you..." You softened.
"I am too busy as a Hashira to date or even explore those types of human interactions, but you can write me letters if you wish. I will respond as promptly as I can." He said watching you intently now.
Joining the demon slayer corps so young Muichiro never had interactions with someone that liked him, and he never had chances to explore those types of feelings of his own either. As indifferent as he was on the outside, something sparked a deep memory in him of feeling warm, feelings that must have been from a long time ago. He wondered if this meant something.
"O-ok... I'll write you letters Tokito." You said taken aback by his sudden change in demeanor.
Just then Mitsuri burst into the room.
"OH! I'm so dumb I let a boy in my sister's room alone! Tokito you have to get out right now!" She said red in the face.
"W-W-WHAT DID YOU THINK W-WE WERE DOING??" You said mortified. Muichiro stood up and went to exit the room.
"I'll be looking forward to your letter." He said then vanished.
I’m accustomed to writing the reader as Muichiro’s Tsuguko so this was a bit of a challenge for me. However, I hope you all enjoyed this little series! I did my best~

I've Been Waiting for the Tides to Change (bucktommy one-shot)
Summary: It was itching at him, the pull that he felt towards Evan. He hadn’t been attracted to someone that quickly in a long while and the thing was that Tommy got it. He got how scary it was to come out and the bravery it took to not only admit that to yourself, but also to everyone else.
-
Or 7x05 from Tommy's perspective and what happens after the coffee date.
Words: 4,987
On Ao3
-
“How’d the date go?”
Tommy slowly put his sandwich down. He chewed on the food in his mouth, glad that it gave him time to think. Lucy dropped into the chair across from him, tearing the stem of a green apple off.
“It was good,” he said, took a sip of his water. “He’s a really interesting guy.”
Lucy smiled easily. “That’s great. Seeing him again?”
“Uh, maybe. I don’t know yet. Kinda up to him, I guess. How was your time off?”
She groaned, still playing with her apple instead of eating it. “I love my parents. Not so sure about my siblings. Either way, it always reminds me how happy I am living far away from all of them. I did hear I missed a visit from the 118.”
“I forgot you worked with them for a bit,” Tommy said.
Lucy grinned. “It was fun. They’re an interesting lot. Tight knit.”
“That they are,” Tommy said.
“I’m glad you were here to help them out,” Lucy said. “I get it, you know, I would have done it too. They’re family over there.”
She gave him a knowing look that spoke of how obvious the Chief had been about taking the credit for the whole thing. At least none of them had lost their jobs. Tommy hadn’t even given it a second thought after Chim called and then showed up five minutes later with Evan and Eddie.
“That they are,” Tommy said. He took another bite of his sandwich and wondered when he would hear from any of them again. When he would hear from Evan.
Tommy didn’t want to push. Evan was clearly still trying to figure things out and he didn’t think there was room for him in that, not when his very presence made Evan so nervous. Tommy hadn’t known for sure until Evan said it, that it was the first time he was on a date with a man — a “dude” as Evan put it. He’d suspected, but seeing him get so flustered and panicked had left Tommy with few options but to cut the date short.
He’d seen the disappointment written in Evan’s face and it had taken everything in Tommy to not offer up more than just the truth, that Evan wasn’t ready.
It was just that before Evan got in his head about it, things had been going really well.
They’d texted a little to make plans, deciding it was best to just meet up at the restaurant. Tommy had arrived a little earlier only to find Evan getting out of his uber. He’d smiled so wide when seeing Tommy, the dimple on his cheek coming through. He was so painfully gorgeous.
It hadn’t been hard to tell that Evan was a little nervous, but he was enthusiastic too. Their conversation came easy. Evan was interested in what Tommy had to say and he responded not only with questions and observations but linked it to his own train of thought. They laughed a lot, had comfortable silences that could be used for focusing on their food, and then went back to talking. All in all, it was one of the better dates that Tommy had been on. That is until Evan realized they were on a date.
Well, no, it wasn’t that he hadn’t known it was a date…as much as that he’d let himself be immersed in it. When that was suddenly broken by the arrival of the check, it had brought something else out in Evan. Nerves and worry and panic. His body had literally tensed up. Eddie appearing hadn’t helped at all, but Eddie was also as oblivious as they came. Tommy didn’t think that Eddie would have caught on even if he and Evan were holding hands across the table.
Tommy didn’t know the next move, not really. So, he decided it was better if he let Evan reach out first. It was his move. Tommy didn’t want to push and if Evan really was that bothered by the idea that he was more than just an ally, then it was for the better.
A few days later found him with Lucy headed out on a call. Med-evac.
“Hey, you didn’t say, your guy call yet?”
“He’s not out,” Tommy said because it was true and also because he didn’t want Lucy to press for details and figure out just who Tommy had gone on a date with.
“Oh,” Lucy said. “That a problem?”
Tommy didn’t answer for a moment. He focused on flying for a bit. “No,” he settled on. “It’s not a problem. It’s just muddled, I was his first date with a guy and he’s still figuring things out. I don’t want to add to everything he’s already trying to figure out.”
Lucy shot him a smile. “You’re a good one, Tommy.”
At one point in his life, Tommy hadn’t known that he would be able to talk about things like this so easily. He’d been so deep in denial, lying to himself and everyone else, and unaware that there was a light at the end of the tunnel. He liked to give himself some credit, but a lot of it also went to Hen. After she arrived at the 118, Tommy just couldn’t help but listen. Hen was loud and proud and more than anything an inspiration.
He didn’t fully embrace that part of himself until he left the 118, but he felt such a relief when he did, but also when the world didn’t fall apart. People were more accepting than anyone really realized.
When they got back to Harbor, Lucy helped him clean the chopper.
“I can tell you like him,” Lucy said. “You wouldn’t be waiting to see if he’ll reach out if you didn’t.”
“And why don’t we discuss your love life?” Tommy shot back.
“Maybe because mine isn’t as exciting right now and we’ve discussed it plenty. What happened on this date exactly?”
He eyed Lucy and then sighed. She wasn’t wrong. They did often spend a lot of time talking about her dates. At the moment she was single, but knowing Lucy it wouldn’t take long before someone caught her eye.
“Okay. So, date is going great. Good conversation. Good vibes. He’s smart. He’s funny. We’re clicking in so many ways and did I mention how adorable he is? Anyway, the whole time he’s a bit nervous, but it’s a first date that’s all normal. But I think it hit him that he was on a date with a guy and he got a little self-conscious and we’re kinda talking about it and I’m bringing up my own experiences when his best friend walks in.”
“Oh no,” Lucy said.
Tommy grimaced. “Yeah, and his friend spots us and immediately comes over with his date and his friend has no idea we’re on a date.”
“But your guy freaked out,” Lucy said.
“Yeah. Big time. Said some nonsense about us going to pick up girls, just…” he trailed off and hung his head a bit.
“Overcorrected,” Lucy filled in. “So what did you do?”
“Well, we left the restaurant and we were supposed to go to a movie, but I just couldn’t…I felt like I was pushing him into doing more than he’s ready for.”
“And you haven’t spoken to him since?”
He shook his head. “I thought about it. Checking in with him, but I don’t even know if he wants to hear from me and maybe it’s better if he takes some time to figure things out. I don’t know.”
Lucy turned to face him entirely. Her blond hair fluttered with the wind. “I get that, but if he’s as skittish as you’re saying then maybe he needs you to call first.”
It was itching at him, the pull that he felt towards Evan. He hadn’t been attracted to someone that quickly in a long while and the thing was that Tommy got it. He got how scary it was to come out and the bravery it took to not only admit that to yourself, but also to everyone else.
“I don’t know,” Tommy said.
“Hey, it’s all on you,” Lucy said.
He did think about it when he got home. Lucy did have a point that Evan might just need some prompting. Tommy did like him, he was interested in getting to know him and certainly interested in a lot more. He also had to look out for himself. As good as the date had gone, it was one date. He and Evan didn’t really know each other. A lot of what Tommy knew came from little tidbits from Eddie and Christopher. It wasn’t much to go on, and maybe it was better to end things before they went downhill.
Tommy resigned himself to not hearing from Evan. He would hear about him from Eddie, maybe even see him eventually and they might become friends or Evan might be more prepared.
So, when Evan called, Tommy almost stared at his phone too long and only just managed to pick up before the call went to voicemail.
“Evan?”
“Hi,” Evan said. He sounded breathy. “Hi, Tommy. I was…well, I was wondering if you would meet me for coffee.”
Evan sounded nervous, but also sure. He waited too long to answer, so Evan spoke again.
“If you want, I mean…I’ll understand if you don’t.”
“When?” Tommy asked.
“Is tomorrow good?” Evan sounded eager.
“Yeah, Evan. Tomorrow’s good.”
“Good. Good. Great. I’ll — I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Evan hung up and not a minute later Tommy got a text with a link to a cafe and a time. He sent back a thumbs up.
The next day, his nerves were mixed with anticipation. For a very short moment right before he arrived at the cafe, he wondered if it was a good idea. Then, he decided that of course it was. Even if all that came out of it was Evan wanting to be just friends, that was still worth seeing through.
Evan was already seated. He’d even bought Tommy coffee. He looked cute, all eager and determined. Nervous too. Tommy could see himself falling for him and that was dangerous.
The coffee tasted awful. It was coffee masked by milk and sugar. Tommy did for a moment wonder if this was Evan’s own coffee order and that was more than a little concerning.
“Seems there are a lot of things we don’t know about each other,” Evan said.
He was gorgeous, and while he was definitely right that they didn’t know each other at all, Tommy wanted to know him. He wanted to know everything about him.
“Practically everything,” Tommy said.
“Well I — I would like to change that,” Evan said and he looked right at Tommy. “First, I need to apologize for the way I behaved the other night.”
“You have nothing to apologize for,” he was quick to say because in Tommy’s eyes he didn’t.
“No, I — I do,” Evan said and he was so serious. Earnest.
“No,” Tommy repeated, shaking his head a little and hoping that Evan got where Tommy had been coming from. “I didn’t cut things short because you behaved badly. I did it because I didn’t want to pressure you.”
“Still the way I reacted was not my proudest moment.”
“Noted.”
“Uh, so you said before, um, that…that you don’t think I’m ready,” Evan said and the nervous energy was back.
Tommy braced himself because this was the moment when Evan made a decision. He would shut down anything romantic between them or he would ask Tommy to wait or he would—
“And the truth is I don’t know what I’m ready for, but I am ready for something and I think maybe that something could be with you.”
He couldn’t tell if Evan was saying it in some effort to convince Tommy or what, but the way he looked at him was so hopeful. There was confidence there too, like Evan was embracing that it was okay not to know and it was also okay to be honest and hopeful.
“You already know that I’m interested,” Tommy said.
He would take whatever pace Evan wanted to set…would do whatever Evan wanted. It was scary how invested he was in it already and this something that Evan wanted hadn’t even been defined.
Tommy didn’t expect for Evan to jump right in with, “Come with me to my sister’s wedding.”
He laughed in surprise. “What?”
Evan barreled on. “I want you to be my date at my sister’s wedding.”
Tommy didn’t know what to think. He didn’t know how he was supposed to handle that. It had been barely a week since they kissed and even less than that since their date where Evan had babbled on in a feeble attempt to cover up for something Eddie hadn’t even suspected. And now he wanted Tommy to be his date at his sister’s wedding.
“Evan,” he said and he meant it to come out incredulous.
“Come on,” Evan said. “I’m serious. Listen, you…you already know half the people there and…and she wants to meet you.”
He’d told her about him. Evan had told his sister about him and probably so much more. Come out to her, maybe. Discussed his feelings and his new found identity. Told her about Tommy which was…wow. This wasn’t at all what Tommy had expected. In for a penny, in for a pound and all that. Evan did nothing by halves.
“Are you absolutely sure about this?”
Evan was smiling. He wasn’t rushing into this without thinking, or at least he was doing an amazing job at faking that he hadn’t just asked Tommy on a whim.
“Yes, I’m sure. There’s going to be free food and I need someone to dance with.”
“Okay”
“Yeah?” Evan asked with just a tinge of surprise as if he had somehow still expected Tommy to put up a fight
“Yeah,” Tommy said.
“Okay, great,” Evan said and he was quite literally shinning.
Evan was amazing. His face was open and happy and when his hand came to rest atop Tommy’s, he felt himself go warm. Evan’s thumb was moving over his fingers and he placed his other hand over Evan’s, cradling it there and feeling such a deep connection with this gorgeous boy who was so brave and so wonderful and who didn’t seem to care one bit that they were in a very public place holding hands across a table.
“So,” Evan said, “and this is very important, how do you take your coffee?”
Tommy chuckled. “Medium roast black with cinnamon and two sugars.”
“Noted,” Evan said. He was still smiling.
“You told your sister about me.”
His cheeks flushed pink. In the light of day it was glorious.
“I didn’t mean to,” Evan admitted. “I started off by telling her that I’d lied to Eddie while I was on a date and then I slipped with the pronoun. Didn’t even catch it until she pointed it out. But it felt…it felt good once she knew. Maddie’s great, she’s going to love you.”
Tommy couldn’t quite believe how quickly Evan had gone from a nervous wreck, to talking to a family member about being into men.
Evan did frown a little, then. “I, uh, I also told Eddie.”
Maddie was one thing. Telling Eddie…that was — after the lengths that Evan had gone to throw Eddie off, Tommy almost hadn’t expected it. Of course, Eddie would be at the wedding…all of Evan’s firehouse and probably other family and Evan wanted him there at his side, he wanted to dance with him. He didn’t just want Tommy as a friend, he wanted him as his date and he didn’t care at all how loud it would be for anyone that didn’t already know.
“He was a little shocked, but it went alright,” Buck said. “He’s…he’s the one that told me I should call you.”
“I should thank him, then,” Tommy said.
Evan shrugged. “He might be a bit busy.”
“Right, his girlfriend was moving in.”
“And is now moving back out,” Evan said. “Are you…do you have anything going on today?”
Tommy shook his head. “Not until later. I’ve got an overnight shift. Why?”
“Well,” Evan said, “I’d really like to keep hanging out with you.”
“Alright,” Tommy said and couldn’t help but smile. “Do you have anything in mind?”
Evan tilted his head to the left. “I do, actually.”
Evan’s idea turned out to be the California Science Center. Tommy hadn’t expected it, but then it seemed like Evan was out to surprise him. Evan drove them and it gave Tommy time to admire him. He looked good behind the wheel of a car, especially when his hand was shifting gears and Tommy could trace his tendons with his eyes. He really was gorgeous.
Tommy noticed the signs for the Science Center as they approached it.
“Really?”
Buck’s cheeks pinked. “There’s a new exhibit,” he said.
Tommy had never been into museums or art shows or any of that stuff. The last time he’d probably stepped foot in one — other than a call back when he was with the 118 — was some field trip with school. He didn’t think he’d ever even been to the California Science Center.
“On what?” Tommy asked, curious.
“Da Vinci,” Evan said after they’d parked. When he turned to look at Tommy he looked a bit deflated, as if he could tell that Tommy wasn’t all that excited.
“I’m getting this all wrong again, aren’t I,” Evan said.
Tommy shook his head at once. “No. No, you’re not. Now come on, Da Vinci, you say, was he the one that cut off his ear?”
Evan laughed. “No, Tommy. As far as I know he had both his ears at death. That was Van Gogh. And hey, now I know one more thing about you.”
“What’s that?”
“Art isn’t your thing. It isn’t really mine either, to be clear.”
“If it isn’t your thing, then, why—” Tommy motioned towards the building they were walking towards.
Evan looked amused more than anything, his lips tilted up and his eyes squinting a little in the sun.
“I like science,” Evan said. There was wonder in his eyes that remained even when he stopped just outside the door of the building to turn to look directly at Tommy. “And when I saw this exhibit, it made me think of you.”
“Me?” He said, more than a little shocked.
Evan nodded. “Aviation,” he said. “Da Vinci’s flying machine. I think he called it an ornithopter.”
And that…that was incredibly sweet. He didn’t say it outloud, but it was possible that his face said it all considering how wide Evan smiled back at him.
“Come on,” Evan said and he grabbed Tommy’s hand, pulling him towards the door.
Tommy’s mind went blank. He felt the calluses on Evan’s fingers, knew his own hands held some too. Evan’s hands were solid, and his hold was gentle but sure. Tommy hadn’t held hands with too many people, not like this. He barely noticed getting inside or Evan leading him past the lobby and towards the Da Vinci exhibit.
“Here it is,” Evan said.
It was some kind of flying bicycle thing and it was sort of amazing. Not because it could have ever flown, but because Tommy could see that there had been a lot of thought and imagination put to the creation of it.
Tommy had never experienced a museum quite like his experience with Evan. None of it was boring. There was plenty to look at within the Da Vinci exhibit. After the ornithopter there was the aerial screw and Tommy knew machinery — he especially knew helicopters and he could tell readily enough where other inventors had taken these ideas and improved on them until they arrived at something that could actually fly.
Evan had facts to add to the information on the placards, he got animated as he explained something that was so random and yet connected to whatever display they were in front of that Tommy was sure more than one person had assumed he was some kind of guide. He was brilliant and amazing and Tommy never wanted to stop looking at him.
They didn’t hold hands the whole time, but they stood so close that their shoulders were always brushing. They were unmistakably together. Evan showed not one ounce of caring for who might notice, not even when some eyes stayed on them long enough to show some disdain.
When Evan wasn’t looking at a display or gushing facts out, his attention was on Tommy. They got to know each other and the more that he discovered about Evan, the more he liked him.
“Did you enjoy yourself?” Evan asked when they were on their way out.
“I did.”
Evan ducked his head. “Good. Thought maybe you wouldn’t.”
“I think it’s all down to the company,” Tommy said. “This wouldn’t have been nearly as fun if I didn’t have you as my guide.”
He blushed so pretty. Tommy hoped that it would never stop happening.
“Good second date,” Evan said.
“I don’t believe it’s over yet,” Tommy said.
“No?” Evan asked, still smiling and still blushing.
“How about some lunch, Evan?”
When Tommy had agreed to coffee, he hadn’t known he’d be spending most of the day with Evan. It was a good thing he didn’t have any other plans, although come to think of it he would have probably canceled them.
“Sounds like a plan,” Evan said.
An hour later they were seated across from each other. Evan was telling him about all the time he’d spent driving around the country when he was younger and Tommy was enthralled.
“I was searching for somewhere to belong,” Evan said. “I never quite fit with my parents. Once Maddie was out of the house it got even harder and then she got me out…and I just kept moving until I stepped foot in the 118.”
Tommy nodded. It was funny, the timing of things. Tommy had left and Evan had taken his spot essentially. He didn’t know if Evan had put that together, not that it really mattered. Tommy had always aimed to get back in the air, he had no regrets about leaving or where it had led him. He did wonder about what he would have made of Evan if he had been there while he was rookie. It wouldn’t have been this, that’s for certain.
“It’s so different over there now,” Tommy said.
“It didn’t come easy,” Evan said. “I was such a dumb kid. Bobby fired me.”
Tommy laughed and he was reminded of Sal. “What did you do?”
Evan expressed himself with his whole body. He ducked his head and his hands were up as if ready to form the explanation.
“It — it doesn’t matter,” Evan said, his words coming out stuttered and quick and a blush rising on his cheeks. “Point is that we’ve come a long way.”
Tommy eyed him. Whatever it was, he was obviously not proud of it and Tommy wouldn’t press despite his curiosity. One day maybe Evan would tell him.
When they were done, they fought over the check.
“You paid last time,” Evan said.
“You paid at the exhibit,” Tommy said. They were each holding an end of the little black book. “And you got the coffee this morning.”
“You didn’t even drink it,” Evan said.
Tommy pulled the book towards him. Evan narrowed his eyes.
“If you let me pay this time, then you can take care of our next date,” Tommy said.
Evan’s cheeks went pink. His grip slacked. “Our next date?”
Tommy put the book on his lap. “I know you asked me to your sister’s wedding, but I’d like to see you before then, Evan.”
Evan nodded. Tommy slipped his credit card in the slot.
They had left his car back by the cafe, and Evan insisted on driving him back instead of letting him take an uber. When Tommy tried to make a point for how it wasn’t necessary, Evan just shook his head.
“I don’t want to end this yet,” Evan said.
Tommy found he agreed with him, but Tommy knew that the anticipation for the next time he saw Evan would hold him over. When Evan got out of the car before Tommy could after they parked, he didn’t expect to be walked to his truck.
“This day was amazing,” Evan said.
“It really was,” Tommy said.
Evan was smiling, eyes ducked down to the ground. When he looked up again, he seemed to have come to a conclusion. “Can I—”
“What?” Tommy asked.
Evan inhaled a breath. “I just…I’d like to kiss you again.”
Oh. Evan’s tongue dipped out from between his lips, and then it was gone again. He was red and his eyes were blown wide.
“Yes,” Tommy breathed. He shifted closer.
Evan’s hand was shaking when it touched his cheek, but Tommy leaned into it and Evan’s thumb moved over his skin, leaving a trail of fire. Their eyes were locked into each other and Tommy could get lost in that blue. He felt Evan’s breath on his skin and Tommy had to restrain himself from leaving in, letting Evan do it instead. It was chaste, similar to the first kiss and yet when their lips brushed together, it sparked something. He wanted to push closer, to lick into Evan’s mouth and taste him. Instead he settled for touching Evan’s chest. He could feel how wildly his heart was beating as his hand climbed up to Evan’s neck, touching the warm soft skin.
When Tommy stepped back, Evan almost seemed to chase him. Tommy chuckled between them and it took everything not to grasp Evan and kiss him again.
“I’ll see you soon, Evan.”
“Stay safe tonight,” Evan responded.
When he got to work some hours later, Tommy couldn’t keep the smile off his face. Lucy noticed it immediately and she cornered him.
“Spill,” she said.
“He called. We went for coffee this morning and spent the whole day together.”
She made a noise of excitement. “The whole day! That’s great.”
“It is. He’s amazing, Lucy. Evan is…he’s everything I’ve always dreamed of and never knew was out there.”
“Evan is it,” Lucy said, a glint in her eye. “Didn’t you say he wasn’t out?”
Tommy froze. “Uh, turns out his closet was badly constructed. He, uh, he asked me to a wedding.”
Lucy was staring at him, mouth agape. “Wait, wait, wait, back up, Kinard, you’ve hardly been on a second date and you’re already going to a wedding with him. Last time we spoke you thought he wasn’t even going to call and…wow, this is—”
“I know,” Tommy said.
Maybe he should have been more concerned about it, but Tommy found that he wasn’t. It was about him and Evan, and Evan was clearly comfortable with bringing him along as a date otherwise he wouldn’t have asked. And somehow, Tommy just knew that if things did somehow go wrong, that they would get through it.
“That’s a lot of pressure,” Lucy said. “Meeting the family and his friends, I’d assume.”
“It helps that I know a lot of his friends already,” Tommy said and it was exactly what Evan had said to him.
“Evan,” Lucy repeated and Tommy saw it the moment realization hit. “Not Evan Buckley? You’re…Tommy, tell me you’re not dating Buck.”
“I can’t. I am.”
The shock went right into laughter, loud and ridiculous laughter in a way that Lucy rarely ever laughed.
“Wow,” she said and she was still laughing. “I — wow…this makes so much sense.”
“What does?”
“All of it. Him. You. Your first date. The wedding.”
Tommy stared at her waiting for elaboration, but it seemed that she was still processing.
“What about it?” Tommy asked, when he couldn’t wait any longer.
“It’s just that I know you, and I know him, and I can see it. You two together, it could work if neither of you get in your own way. You care about him, and while I didn’t expect him to be into men, that makes sense too.”
Tommy couldn’t help his smile. Lucy’s however faded and she looked a little more serious.
“There’s something I should tell you,” she said.
“What is it?”
Lucy regarded him for a long moment. “I’m saying this for the sake of transparency. Buck and I kissed once.”
“Oh,” Tommy said.
She grimaced. “We were very drunk. This shouldn’t change anything for you two, this is about us. I didn’t want to keep that from you and I’m sure Buck will tell you, just like I’m telling you, it meant nothing and nothing ever happened after.”
Tommy had no right to judge. They hadn’t really talked past relationships, but he got the sense that Buck hadn’t had the best luck in that department. They were the same that way. Whatever had happened between him and Lucy was in the past.
“He’s a good kisser, isn’t he?” Tommy asked.
Lucy’s smile returned. She looked relieved. “From what I can remember, yes. I get it, Tommy, man’s hot.”
“Yes, he is.”
He was more than that too. So much more. Tommy already loved everything that he knew so far and that was just the surface.
“When are you seeing him again?” Lucy asked.
“Soon.”
“And you can’t wait, can you,” Lucy said.
His face probably said it all. A whole day he’d spent with Evan and he was ready to see him again already. It was going to be far too easy to fall for him, it was as scary as it was exciting and Tommy was ready for it.

steve noticing a new shirt or a new song youve become obsessed with. asking you about it and just smiling as you explain (the band, writer, movie, show whatever.) R"what..?" S"Nothing-" R"Youre making that face-" "well if you must know, ive got the cutest most precious woman as my girlfriend." or something like that-
this was so cute!!! thank you for requesting!🫶🏽
.
Steve knew you had been waiting for the book to come out.
The second you found the date, you had marked it in your shared calendar and drawn a bunch of doodles around the announcement that it was very hard to miss.
He knew you were excited, he knew how long you had been waiting for it. Steve took the extra initiative to make sure it was the perfect day. He had worked out with your coworkers so you had the day off on your rota, made sure the pantry was stocked with your favourite snacks and left a few cans of your favourite drinks in the fridge (along with a bottle of wine).
He drove out early to the next town over so he could pick up the book the second the store opened, drove back before you woke up and left a note and a kiss on your forehead before he headed out for the day to work a shift at Family Video.
By the time he came home in the late afternoon, you had finished the book and you were buzzing off the walls. Steve didn’t think he had seen a sight so fucking adorable. It made up for the constant teasing he received from Robin all day about the way he was head over heels for you.
You lifted your head up off the couch where you were laying, a grin spreading across your face when he walked through the door. “You’re home.”
“Someone’s happy to see me,” Steve teased as he made his way over, leaning over the back of the couch to press a long, greeting kiss against your lips. “How was your day, honey?”
“Perfect ‘cause of a certain someone,” you said with a teasing tone, though your smile became more sincere as you dragged him into another kiss. “Thank you, for everything.”
“It’s what my girl deserves,” Steve stated simply before smiling. “Let me go change and then we can order some food and you can tell me all about your book.”
And that’s exactly what you did.
After changing into some sweatpants and a loose t-shirt, Steve ordered from your favourite takeaway place before he settled on the couch across from you. He was leaning against one arm, you were at the other and your legs were intertwined in the middle with a blanket over you both.
You are animated and enthusiastic as you spoke, your hands moving wildly as you gave him a run down of the previous books (as if he had forgotten from your previous rants) before launching into everything you had read that day.
He hadn’t meant to zone out, and he didn’t really. He was listening, he would be damned if he didn’t listen to every word that came out of that pretty mouth of yours, but he couldn’t help but let a giddy smile take over his face as he watched you ramble on passionately.
You seemed to pick up on his expression as you were mid-way through a plot twist, the words falling short from your lips as you flushed at his expression.
“What?”
Steve blinked, his brows furrowed slightly. “What’s what?”
“You’re…smiling all weird,” you said, almost laughing as you spoke.
“It’s nothing,” Steve said with a shrug. “You’re just…so cute when you talk about your books.”
You could feel your cheeks heating at his words. “I’m sorry, I’m probably talking so much—”
“Hey, no,” Steve said with a shake of his head. “I love when you share this with me. It’s like being a part of it, without actually having to read the books.”
You snorted lightly. “You really don’t mind?”
“Listening to my pretty girlfriend talk all day? Of course not,” Steve scoffed like the concept was absurd. “Like I said before, it’s cute.”
Your smile was almost as giddy as his.
“Plus, those lil’ sex scenes give me good inspiration—”
“Steve!”
“Kidding, honey!” There was a pause. “Okay, I’m only slightly kidding, but there’s some real good tips in those books.”

Skz members trying to make you lose at an arcade
genre: fluff, humor
pairing:
Bang Chan/Han Jisung/Jeongin x f!reader
warnings: cursing, little suggestive
summary: your best friend takes you out to an arcade and he continuously teases you and makes you lose
Bang Chan:
Chan always loved taking you out on little hang outs. It never seemed like anything romantic whatsoever, but something about tonight felt different..
we approached the basketball machines ready to compete with each other. He payed for the first round and we immediately started playing. "You ain't winning this one, Y/n" He said proudly, though it definitely wasn't going according to his plan. I repeatedly kept scoring points which made him groan "Dude that's not fair!" I giggled at his remark to which he shot me a glare. Next thing I know I was getting shoved "Hey! Stop cheating!" He laughed in my face. that jerk..
This continued for a bit, until I lost the game eventually. "Oh, looks like I won" He chuckled. "You kept on shoving me you asshole" I punched his arm "Now Now, don't get so feisty miss" his mouth curved into a smirk. "Don't say that" I cough out.
I walk away from the machine, my face slightly turning red, he followed right behind. I suddenly felt his hands grab my waist from behind "Don't run away from me like that" he spoke softly.
The hands that were once placed on my body left, leaving a lingering feeling. "I'm just gonna ignore the fact that you did this" I say dumbfounded, he only chuckled at me.
Han Jisung:
Jisung is an enthusiast about arcades. He loved them and he most certainly loved taking you there.
It was late at night as he suggested we'd go to the arcade, I agreed to it almost immediately.
We played some games, ate food and had a good time. Before we ended the night, he wanted to play that one shooting game that everyone was talking about. "Please y/n! Just this one last game" he whined "Fine, as long as you play fair" I reply, squinting my eyes at him. He gave me a sweet smile...oh he is definitely not gonna play fair.
Immediately we throw a coin into the machine and start shooting at the targets. I was surprisingly good at the game, which irritated him.
"How do you expect me not to cheat when you play this good?" he poked my side. "hey, no poking!" i giggle. he knows I'm a pretty ticklish person, and he uses it against me.
I kept on wiggling in my spot, missing lots of targets "Seems like I'll be winning this one" he grinned. oh I was not letting him win that easy. I pushed his arm, making him lose his balance. He gasped dramatically pulling onto my sleeve "Cheating!" I yell with a chuckle "You did it too! You're no better" he snickered. Though at the end of the game, I still managed to win. "rematch. I cant go down like this" he fell to his knees "you look ridiculous, stand up" I chuckle. "Kiss me and I might consider it" his eyes looked up at me. At that moment something felt a bit different, blush creeping up my cheeks. I shook those feelings away "Stand up before I punch you" "okay okay, no need to get violent baby" he grinned as if he knew what he was doing. "Let's go home" I sigh exhausted.
Jeongin:
It was normal for you and the members to go out and play stupid games. This day was no different.
We went to this nice new arcade that has opened around the block. Most of the boys separated into small groups, some going to the food stall, others to the race cars...me and Jeongin decided to go to the dance machines. "I bet I can score more points then you" he proclaims, I scoff at his words "Oh yeah? Show me then." I dare him.
He never goes easy on challenges. "Watch me"
He started off pretty good which annoyed me. I taunted him "wow, look at that. Ain't that good after all" I chuckle at his facial expression, he looked provoked. he eventually scored a bit over average. "That's nothing" "You try, since you think it's that easy" he huffed.
I jumped onto the machine with confidence.
Not long after I started the game he kept nudging and teasing "that score doesn't look good, y/n" "Ohh, bad move" he grinned with his stupid smile at me, I could punch his cute face..
I totally lost the game..not because I'm bad at it- I think-
"Ha, I won the bet" he poked my forehead "Don't touch me" I say with a pout. "Don't you like it when I touch you?" he asked quietly.
God, my cheeks were burning up, how can such an innocent sentence sound so dirty. "Don't say such stuff" I push him away and go down the hallway, searching for the others ''I didn't say anything bad though" He chuckled.

kisses on space street • NEBULAE
aventurine x gn!reader • fluff (ongoing series)
chapter summary: pretty boy aventurine has completely taken over your college campus and everyone is warning you to stay away! however, (un)lucky for you, he's got his eyes on you.
author's note: finally doing this series😭 ive been meaning to and nothing ever came to mind to get rid of my writer's block but now im delivering the first chapter☝️
August 23rd, 20XX.
first day of college. you had to try and find your way around the huge campus from the library to the food hall to the area where your actual major resided. the place was a little overwhelming and you had a bit of trouble making your way around.
however, someone came up to help you find your way around.
aventurine. the man with beautiful eyes, is talking to you, an average person. "heya, pretty, you look lost, where do ya need to go?" he cooed in that sweet, honey-like voice. you looked a little shocked he was actually talking to you of all people. guess he sensed that since he let out a lighter chuckle, "ya look shocked, you good?" he asked, now you just have to snap out of it.
you spoke up, "yeah yeah, im...uh, fine, just looking for where my professor's classroom is at" you spoke politely. you didn't wanna waste his time, especially because he definitely has better people to talk to. you showed him the classroom number and his face lit up, "hey i have to go there too! i found it earlier, follow me" he stated pretty enthusiastically. you followed him to the classroom and he opened his mouth again.
he does not know how to shut up, huh?
he spoke up, "so, pretty, you livin' on campus?" he asked. you didn't really wanna tell him this but you went ahead and did it anyways. "uhm, yeah, im living in a dorm with a roommate, don't know his name though, didn't bother looking at the sheet." you cant believe you said that. now hes gonna bother you about looking at the sheet. "oo! let me see for you, i know everyone here" he didnt even really ask to see it, he kinda just stole your papers and looked through. judging by how his face lit up.
he was your roommate.
great.
he left you alone after he lead you to class and when lunchtime came, you went to the nearby cafe to speak to your friends. seems they had some warnings for you. "hey loser! over here!" they called you over and you sat down.
"yknow guys, i met the most obnoxious guy ever today" you started off, catching your friends' attention. your friends' names are robin, a music major. brother is sort of all over the place but he's nice. robin is also a travelling musician so there's some weeks where you never see her but she keeps contact. veritas ratio, prefers being called ratio. older than you and robin and is a junior in college. you guys only met because he accidentally threw chalk at your head when you were a junior in high school minding your business in math class.
"cant be as obnoxious as aventurine, i mean, he's literally loud and pretty so he gets away with it" robin stated and you went really quiet.
"so what if i said it was aventurine?" you questioned and robin dropped her sandwich on the table and ratio, sorta didn't show a reaction. kinda just glared. "stay away from him! he locks his eyes on someone and then ruins their life from what i heard!" robin stated with a scared expression and ratio just scoffed. "all you hear is rumors, miss robin. why dont you just get to know the guy for once, hm?" he asked her with a glare her way, robin just picked up her sandwich and ate it with a pout.
"always have a way of bullying the poor girl, huh, ratio?" you asked him, in which he just grunted and sipped his tea. "anyways, aventurine, i seriously cannot escape him, he's my roommate and in my class" you stated, robin just about imploded.
"no way! good luck dealing with him, dont be too interesting around him or else he'll target you" she said with a nervous sounding voice. you guys ended up finishing our lunch and parting ways, you and ratio going back to the campus while robin had some things to do back at her studio.
the entire day passed you by and it'd already been nine at night. you started heading back to your dorm, hoping that aventurine wasnt there. yet of course, nothing you wish for, actually happens.
"pretty! you're back, how was your first day?" he cooed, he had friends over and he didnt even bother considering how you'd feel about that. "it was fine, im going to my room, dont make too much noise" you stated before walking away. aventurine didnt think you'd be this prickly.
whatever, not like it mattered.
why should you care how he feels.
too bad for you though, he's interested in you now.

Sick Surprise pt. 5 - Away
In which Eloise had grown so used to seeing Spencer almost every day, she misses him when he’s away on a case.
Warnings: a crying toddler, fluff, a little sadness, Spencer low key being a dad—
Spencer Reid x fem!reader
Y/N twirled around the kitchen with Eloise in her arms as music played through the apartment. She was cooking dinner for Spencer that night and Eloise was “helping”. Really, she was just stirring the pot of noodles every time her mother brought her over to it.
As she was trying to open the jar of pasta sauce her phone rang from the living room. She gasped and her eyes lit up. She assumed it was Spencer, he always called her when he was on his way over.
She set Eloise on the ground. “Can you go get my phone, baby?” She asked, kissing her cheek.
The little girl started clapping as she ran into the living room to do as she was asked. Moments later, she scurried into the kitchen holding her mother’s phone above her head.
Sure enough, it was Spencer’s contact photo. He had his tongue sticking out and his eyes squeezed closed tightly.
She licked the sauce off her finger and took her phone from Eloise, picking her up and putting her on the counter next to all the veggies in a bowl. “Thanks, Eloisey.” She kissed the girls cheeks and pressed the green button on her screen.
“Hey, Spence! You’re on speaker.” She told him, setting her phone down on the edge of the sink.
“Hi, baby. Is my Eloisey Cheesy there too?” He asked. She could hear a difference in his voice.
Y/N smiled, pinching the girl’s cheek and handing her a bowl of chopped carrots for her to snack on and wait for dinner to be done. “Of course! Always right next to me.” She winked at Eloise and the girl giggled. “On you on your way here? Dinner’s close to done.” She told him.
She heard a sigh on the other end and bit her lip.
“That’s what I was calling about…” He trailed off. “I’m gonna be gone on a case for a while.” He spoke quietly. Y/N’s face fell.
She ducked in a breath. “Oh.” She nodded.
Spencer’s voice was quiet on the other end. “I’m sorry, Y/N/N.” He said. “It’s estimated to take about a week and a half so I won’t be able to see guys.” His voice was sad. Y/N could tell Eloise didn’t understand what was going on by the cute little look on her face.
Y/N nodded. “O-okay. Yeah, sure. I’ll see you when you get back.” She spoke quickly. She didn’t know why she felt so… scared. There was something just gnawing at her heart.
“Y/N…” He spoke, hearing how dismissive she sounded.
She sighed. “I know, Spence. I understand, just be safe, okay?”
“Can I talk to Eloise?” He asked. He seemed nervous for the answer.
Y/N looked at the girl who perked up at the sound of her name. “Of course you can! Eloisey, guess who wants to talk to you?”
“Spenther!?” She squealed. Y/N giggled and slid the phone closer to her. “Hewwwooo?” She spoke loudly.
“Eloisey, hi!” He spoke enthusiastically. The girl laughed at the nickname. “I Jaír wanted to let you know that I won’t be by your house to play with you for a while.”
Her lip quivered and her eyebrows furrowed. “W-why you not gunna pway with me, Spenther?” He eyes filled with tears and Y/N rubbed her thumb across the smoothness of her cheek.
Spencer cleared his throat. “I have to go catch some bad guys and it might take a while. But when I’m back, I promise I’ll play food with you for a long as you want.”
Y/N rolled her eyes and shook her head, a smile forming on her lips. “Are you a thuper hewo?” Eloise asked.
Spencer chuckled but before he could tell her, Y/N interrupted. “Yes. Spencer is a superhero. He’s the best one!”
Eloise giggled and clapped. “Then I don’ wanna pway food wif you. I wanna pway thuper hewos.” She told Spencer.
He sighed and U/N could tell he was smiling. “Okay, Eloisey. I’ll call you and mommy tomorrow but I have to go now, okay?”
“We miss you, Spence!” Y/N called out over Eloise’s sad whimpering.
“I miss you guys too—“
“Reid who are you talking to?”
“Uh no—“
The phone was hung up and Y/N sighed looking at her daughter. She held out her pinky finger and smiled. “Looks like it’s just you and me this week, kiddo.”
“Jus’ you an’ me?” Eloise repeated.
Y/N nodded and smiled sadly. “How it used to be.”

Day one without seeing Spencer was… difficult.
“Eloise, I said no more candy. Please put it back.” Y/N stood behind the couch watching her daughter hold a piece of licorice to her lips.
“Spenther let’s me eat candy before dinner!” The girl cried. Y/N rolled her eyes.
“Eloise, put. It. Down.” She nodded. “Or you won’t get any candy at all.”
The girl held eye contact with her mom before making an annoyed noise and throwing the candy on the floor and storming past her.
Y/N groaned loudly and pulled her phone from her pocket.
To: Spence<3
It’s official. You’ve spoiled my demon baby.
She tossed her phone on the couch and went back into the kitchen to finish cooking dinner.
When dinner was done, Eloise sat in her pink chair with a scowl on her face. “Mommy.” She spoke quietly.
“Yes, baby?” She replied, chewing on her veggies.
“I want to pway.” She stated.
Y/N sighed. “I know baby. Finish eating first and then we can go play.”
The girl whined through the rest of dinner and barely ate any of her Mac and cheese to be dramatic.
They played store and Eloise pretended to be a mean “checker outer lady” and not let Y/N buy anything all because she was mad.

Spencer call Eloise and Y/N days later. It was almost time for the girl to go to bed and he knew that.
He heard Eloise sobbing in the background and tilted his head into the phone. “Is she okay?” He asked.
Y/N sighed. “Uh… she misses you.” The woman nodded. “And she won’t let me read any books to her because she says that’s your job.” She told him.
Spencer nodded. “I could read her a story.”
She laughed. “How? You don’t have any of her favorite books with you.”
The man shrugged. “I have an eidetic memory, babe. I’m sure I can remember Pete The Cat.”
Y/N smiled and nodded. “Okay. I’ll put you on speaker.” She shuffled around and sat on the edge of Eloise’s bed. “Okay, baby. Spencer is gonna read you a bedtime story, okay?”
The girl wiped her tears with her tiny fists and she sniffled, her breaths stuttering. “O-okay.” She nodded. She slid down underneath her covers and patted the empty space behind her and looked at her mom. You way here wif me, mommy.”
Y/N tilted her head. “Okay, baby.” She laid down next to her daughter and smoothed her hair down. “Okay, Spencer. I think we’re ready.”
“Hi, Eloisey.” Spencer spoke. She let out a small greeting and he could tell that she was tired. “Okay, we’re gonna read your favorite Pete the Cat.”
Spencer’s voice had soothed Eloise to sleep. Y/N accidentally fell asleep as well, a smile on her lips as Spencer’s soft voice spoke the words of the book.
“Y/N/N?” His voice crackled over the phone speaker into the silent room.
He listened for a minute and then smiled when he realized both of his girls fell asleep.
He wished he could stay on the phone all night just in case one of them fell asleep but he had only found the time to call them while he was on the way to another crime scene about fourth minutes into the town him and the team were on.
He told them that he’d drive alone so he could think over the case when in all reality he was gonna spend some time with Eloisey and Y/N in the phone.
.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.
It had been two weeks.
Y/N was tired of her crabby three year old and she missed her boyfriend.
She had finally realized why she was so stand-offish when he had told her he was going away. It was because she was scared.
She was scared he wouldn’t come back to her. She was scared that he’d leave her and her child. She was scared that they would be abandoned again. Of course she didn’t think that Spencer had any obligation to stay with them, it still would have hurt.
She had to wrestle Eloise into a nap. She wanted to call Spencer and have him read her to sleep but Y/N was not about to bother him in the middle of a case.
They were alone before, they could do it again.
Y/N was dozing off in her bed. She had just finished a book she’d been reading when her phone buzzed.
From: Spence<3
I’m back and on my way up
Y/N smiled sleepily and got out of her bed. She quietly walked to her closet and threw on a pair of shorts underneath the big t-shirt of Spencer’s that he had left there.
She walked silently through the house, trying not to wake Eloise.
She unlocked the front door and opened it quickly. Her smile grew when she saw him standing there with a smile and a tub of ice cream in hand.
“Hi, baby.” He whispered. Y/N stood on her tippy toes and kissed him softly. After, she pulled him inside putting a finger to her lips.
She took the tub of ice cream from Jim’s bf set it on the key table and pulled him down for a kiss again. “I missed you.” She told him quietly between kisses.
He nodded and hummed in agreement, holding her tight. He could tell she was tired, sad almost.
She pulled away from his lips and buried her head in his chest, sighing heavily. “Y/N, what’s wrong?”
He pulled her towards the couch and sat her down. “Are you okay?”
She looked at him and bit her lip. “I…” She shook her head. “I never realized how alone I was before you came along until you were gone for the past two weeks.” She told him. “I think Eloise is completely attached now.” She let a small smile grace her lips.
Spencer nodded. “I’m sorry.”
Y/N sighed. “I’m glad you’re around as much as you are. And I understand that your job needs you away a lot.”
Spencer nodded, grabbing her hands.
She bit her lip. “I think that you should explain to Eloise that you can’t always be around and that sometimes it’s gonna be just me and her again.”
A sad smile appeared on Spencer’s lips. “Y/N…” he drew out. “I want you to know that I will never leave you and Eloise alone unless you want me to.” He told her. “I will always come back to you. You don’t have to be afraid of being abandoned ever again.”
Y/N’s eyes filled with tears and she looked at their interlocked hands. “Spencer…”
“Yes, baby?”
“I love you.”

If you need ideas, I have a few.
Maybe canon divergence with fitpac date, with tubbo going with them, because they did asked him if he wanted to join them.
Or maybe something about post-prison, with them having to start over, and also having a talk about what happened in the last days, processing their emotions.
i love you so much i hope you know that xoxo
AU WHERE TUBBO DOES ACTUALLY GO ON THE FITPAC DATE WITH THEM
Tubbo’s calamitous trains of thoughts came to a sudden stop when Fit spoke. “Come with you guys?”
The guys in question were both standing in front of him now, dressed up for their date. Fit, in a fancy form fitting suit and Pac in a nice button up and slacks. Their expressions were mirrors of each other; earnestness and concern.
“Seriously?” Tubbo asked, his voice cracking on the word against his will.
Pac nodded enthusiastically. “Of course, Tubbo. We are, you know, family. You are always welcome.”
Fit echoed his sentiment. “Yeah, Tubbo. You’re very welcome to come to the movies with us.”
Tubbo blinked. “I mean I don’t want to bother.”
“But it’s bothering you,” Pac pressed. “And it’s no bother to us so why not?”
Tubbo felt suddenly guilty about the ender pearl and the plan he had to steal Pac away. “Okay.” That was it, he had decided. “Okay, I’ll come with you guys.”
They both smiled brightly at him and Pac slung his arm around Tubbo as they set off.
–
Fit showered Pac in food and clothes and whatever he could ever want as soon as they got there and to be honest it didn’t stir a bit of jealousy in Tubbo. Pac handed off as much food as he could to Tubbo while they both laughed at Fit’s nervous antics.
“He really likes you,” Tubbo whispered to Pac while Fit’s back was turned.
Pac grinned. “He does.” To Tubbo’s surprise, Pac slipped his hand into Tubbo’s and squeezed. “Let’s go watch whatever movie he has planned for us, yeah?”
The word us echoed over and over in his mind. “Yeah.”
-
The movie was an old black and white one that had them all curled over laughing. Tubbo had been sure he would be gagging and rolling his eyes at how romantic they were being the whole time but to his surprise he seemed to fit in with them like a puzzle piece they didn’t know they were missing, Tubbo pressed into either of their sides at any moment. Laughing with them as they compared the animated creatures to other islanders. Teasing Fit with Pac when he accidently fell into his lap. Stumbling awkwardly through words in Portuguese with Fit as Pac howled with laughter at them. It soothed his fears for a while. The promise and security of being with both of them. Maybe things would be okay.
#poly morning crew#my writing#fanfiction#qsmp tubbo#qsmp fitmc#qsmp pactw#I WANNA HEAR AS MANY IDEAS AS YOU HAVE#AND THAT GOES FOR EVERYONE WHO SEES THIS#I CANT GUARANTEE MY BRAIN WILL LATCH ON TO THE IDEA#BUT MOST OF THE TIME IT DOES#idk why im yelling#anyway enjoy <3

❁ ❝ 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 ❞
━ first years and gn! reader ━ it was the weekend and you and the first years are having a video chat to pass the time and reminisce about the events these past few months.
slight (?) spoilers for chapter 1 to 7! (f/n stands for first name.)
do not steal or translate without my permission.
"hey, can you hear me?"
ace's voice came through the speakers of your phone as you propped it up on the nightstand, looking around the drawers for your earphones as the rest of the first years joined the call.
it was halfway through the weekend when you suddenly received an invite from your group chat, which was a video chat invite sent by ace, to be precise. now here you were, on the call with ace, deuce, jack, epel, ortho, and sebek.
"yeah, dude. we can hear you."
epel's reply was heard as you wore your earphones and looked at the screen. all of their cameras were turned on and deuce was clearly seen behind ace and vice versa, making you chuckle to yourself as you knew if one of them will speak, their voice would echo through the other's microphone.
"what's with the invite?"
sebek was confused as he looked at the screen, his background indicated that he was on the lounge of diasomnia and so, the chances of him being alone were slim. you wondered if he joined the call on his own accord or if lilia told him to.
"just a little bonding time, i'm guessing," replied jack as he propped his phone on a desk, the view of his cacti caught your eye as you continued listening to them.
"i'm glad we get to deepen our bonds by video chatting! this is a great way to communicate with your friends over the weekend," spoke ortho as the wrinkles around his eyes indicated that he was smiling if the way his eyes shone brighter did not give it away.
"well, glad ortho's really enthusiastic about this," replied epel as he smiled at the screen, his background indicated that he was in his room. "yes, but... we see each other at school 5 days a week," you added as grim went up to the table and blocked you from the camera, showing only him as he smiled.
"they obviously want to see more of the great grim," interrupted the cat-racoon monster as you sighed to yourself, adjusting the angle of the phone so both you and grim were seen by the rest.
"there's nothing bad about video chatting once in a while. come on, admit it~ you miss us from time to time, too!" teased ace as his laughs echoed through his and deuce's microphone, making jack and sebek twist their expressions to discomfort as the audio went a little too unbearable, even for you.
"man, your voice is echoing," said epel. "i'll stay over at the lounge," spoke deuce as he stood up from his bed, walked out of the door and held the camera towards his face. "do you guys not have a rule about staying over at the lounge at this hour?" you questioned as you rested your chin on your palm.
"not that i know of..." mumbled deuce as he sat on the lounge, nodding as his gaze went off-camera, presumably acknowledging the presence of another student in the lounge - it could be cater or trey or just a random student, who knows.
"anyway, do you guys have any plans tomorrow?" asked ace, "i was thinking we should go check out the bakery at the foot of the hill in town! they should have new pastries to sell for breakfast."
you hummed in response, "that'd be great. you did promise to buy me some food, after all." ace groaned softly as you reminded him of the end of his deal, but his groan shifted to a laugh as he spoke, "yeah, yeah... i also think we should goof off and relax a bit, a lot of things happened this year, you know."
"well, he's not wrong," added epel, "a lot happened and it was only a span of months, too! not even an entire year..." jack hummed in agreement as he added to epel's statement, "we persevered through it, so we should be proud of ourselves for going this far... especially you, prefect."
"me?"
your attention was suddenly caught by jack as soon as he addressed you. the rest of the first years nodded as ortho spoke, "f/n-san has done a lot for us these past few months. i am certain it must be hard for you to handle all the things you've done during the overblot occurrences, especially because you were unfamiliar with this world."
"ortho has a point, n/n," said ace as his expression and tone went a little serious and concerned. "we know how much you want to head back home, so we'll do whatever we can to help you," added deuce as he gave you a comforting smile.
epel hummed in agreement as jack nodded, whilst sebek stared at the screen, unsure of how he should respond. meanwhile, grim frowned a little as he mumbled, "if... they head back to their world, they won't be with me to celebrate once i become the greatest mage..."
"hey now, grim..." spoke epel as he tried to console the monster. "yeah... we won't be doing these calls once f/n heads back to their world," mumbled deuce before trying to brush off the sadness on his expression, smiling at the camera, "still, we should be happy for them... we should be glad that we get to do this while they're still here, right?"
"yeah... and hey, what's with the frowns, guys? i won't forget you even if i'm back to my world..." you spoke as you smiled a little bit, "though, i will miss you all."
"oh no, they said it!" exclaimed ace, pertaining to the "i miss you" that you just said, chuckling as he tried to turn the slightly depressing atmosphere into something a little more lighthearted. you chuckled along as you spoke, "you know you'll miss me too, idiot! ahaha!"
as the little laughing died down, you still smiled as you ruffled grim's head while looking at the screen, "no, really... i'll never forget you all. you made a lasting impression on me. i mean, come on, this is an interesting friend group. i have a literal 70-centimetre cat monster as my roommate, two brain cells, a good wolf boy, a country boy, an adorable child, and a loud crocodile..."
"brain cells?!" exclaimed ace and deuce in unison whilst grim looked at you with a slightly grumpy expression, "this 70-centimetre cat monster is the great grim-sama, mind you!"
"a good wolf boy...?" mumbled jack. "eh, you're not wrong," shrugged epel. ortho's eyes were twinkling as he said, "ah... adorable? hehe, thank you, f/n-san!"
"wha...?! ...hmph! i'll excuse what you said for now," exclaimed sebek as he frowned at the screen, his brows furrowed as his voice was certainly loud despite the neutral volume on your device.
you laughed softly at their responses before continuing your little pats on grim's head. they continued conversing about random topics as they all had agreed to meet tomorrow at the bakery, as a way to unwind and spend a little time outside of the campus. however, sebek was still a little hesitant as he had his duties to attend to, but you could hear lilia and malleus in the background encouraging him to go and hang out with his friends.
while all of that went on, a soft smile found its way on your lips, your hand still caressing grim's head as you looked at the screen, all your friends laughing about and saying some inside jokes that you grew to understand. this may not be your original home, but you knew there would be a missing piece in your heart once you leave them. you had grown accustomed to your life here, but you won't let that deter you.
you still had responsibilities back home.
still, you washed those thoughts away as you sighed to yourself, thinking at the back of your mind.
"i'll miss everyone here when i leave..."
