Lol I keep seeing the “the show is telling you what really happened and in the book Billy couldn’t tell Julia the full story because he didn’t want to hurt her”, and again, I have to wonder if everyone saying that has read the book because…. Things Billy tells Julia, a grown woman who is fully aware that her father was too fucked up to be there when she was born:

A) that he fucked multiple groupies on the first tour while married to her mom, who was pregnant with her at the time

B) that he, at one point “may have” been MORE in love with Daisy than HER MOTHER

Like… I’m sorry, where is this idea that Billy, a guy who took forever to admit that but did admit that, was sparing Julia’s feelings, coming from? How is telling your child “yeah I did love this other woman more than your mom and it was agonizing and I did kind of wish I could bail on y’all for a minute” THE SOFT HIT LOL.

I think people need to realize that Eddie isn’t thinking.

He’s not thinking of the bigger picture or the consequences. He’s not thinking of Marisol or how this woman with Shannon’s face would effect Chris.

He’s thinking about Shannon and having more time with her.

He’s not seeing Kim, flirting with Kim, or going on a date with Kim. It’s Shannon and Shannon only.

Everyone deals with grief differently and this is Eddie’s grief taking a hold of his brain and his heart going “look. There she is. Don’t you want more time with her? It’s right there take it” and for once in his life Eddie is being selfish.

He’s remembering this idealized version of his wife and their love, crystallized and polished by grief, and projecting it onto this woman who looks just like her.

And someone (it would probably be Bobby but with all the shit he’s got going on in the next few episodes it’s most likely going to be Buck) is going to have to shake some sense into Eddie and go “She’s not Shannon. She’s never going to be Shannon. What are you doing?”

This is a delicious and messy and intriguing character arc and I cannot wait to see the rest of it

Vampire aesthetic. She also has a lollipop gimmick, as in, she'll go out on stage with one. She's starting bringing unopened ones onto stage to throw into the crowd since it became a thing, but it actually started because she ran onto stage one time with one and some fans thought it looked cool so she kept doing it.

Appearance wise, she has choppy dyed hair with white red and black in the mix. East asian girl with beige skin, but she does full face makeup on stage based around goth and vkei. Might do an outfit collage another time…

Goes by Ivy because it’s her initials (her parents thought von was a middle name and didn’t realize it’s meant to be part of the last name)

Her stage name though is IV, as in the hospital equipment, but cause it’s also the roman numerals for four, her lucky number. She started using it to match with Seven, and he has this as his tattoo because it’s always been ‘her number’ even before it was her stage name. She still has her tattoo as well, and doesn't bother to conceal it.

"Sev!" and "Ive!"

Similarly to how Seven doesn't like Duckstein, Ivy hates her first name and any variations of it, treating Ivy as her name. "Don't call me Nezzie!!" (unless it was high school and you were Seven getting back at them for calling you 'Ducky')

Needs glasses but wears contacts! They worked hard on that eye makeup goddammit!! They just wore glasses back in high school though.

Has a Soundcloud they’ve been using since middle school. They started posting solo songs there which are usually indie pop or some other experimental sound different from the band.

They became way more bitter and cynical over time, but out of spite (towards their parents, the world, Seven—) remain stubbornly ambitious and laugh in the face of whatever tries to take her down. It’s just easier and less embarrassing to be volatile than wistful or a doormat. It's for the sake of pride, really.

She projects anger and spite in front of Seven because she can't help herself. When it comes to being vulnerable, she would always stamp it down or try to cover it up. Inwardly, she’s just really sad and wanting for what’s not really there anymore and never will be. You’re in his dms I’m disgusted by the enormity of my desire!!! We are NOT the same!!!

This is similar to how she acts around her parents. She still really wants to have a relationship with them but feels she's the one who has consistently had to try to have that, which makes her bitter and embarrassed as an adult. They make her feel like a meek little kid again and this time she doesn't even have Seven to fall back on when that happens-- which makes the feeling worse. AUGHH!!!

She’s really only chasing fame because that has to be what makes all of this hurt and effort worth it. Otherwise, genuinely, what was it all for? To share their music? Don't fuck with them like that. It stopped being about 'their' music when Seven left. They're a damn good band, Ivy loves her friends, and she has fun-- but it's just not the same goal without him around anymore.

Used to hate confrontation, but now dives into drama for the hell of it (even if she won’t start it herself necessarily). Generally hates being underestimated or pitied, and doesn’t like getting help because they’re not a ‘charity case.’ Has become kind of trashy and plays comic relief with Rowan alot. Speaking of him...

Her ship name with Rowan was originally ‘IRow’ (Ivy’s a shameless atla fan) but was quickly overtaken by ‘Bloody Hart.’ They’re not into each other but they did kiss while drunk once (which for them kinda solidified the fact they aren't into each other). Fans also coined ‘Snivy’ for her and Seven, though the two never dated.

Is rooting for Piercehart. She has the edits that have started rolling in saved on her camera roll already. They've also been victims of the shipping culture though #AutumnIvy (a typo that just...stuck? August isn't even a fall month!)

Started believing in the idea of fate after Seven left the band. If it brought them together once it can do it again (she refuses to think about it or accept this being the real reason why yet and just chalks it up as her committing to the bit.)

Worst Demeanor: Tweeted ‘Taylor Swift is mid’ then put their phone on dnd for the next two days. She still has it pinned to her profile.

Duff isn’t the type it get pissed off like this at all. this is the first time I’ve seen him this pissed off. It all started because one of my old high school friend’s spotted in the club me and duff where at tonight.

Duff was with our close friend ,slash and they’re doing their own thing you know while I was at the bar getting more drinks or everyone. my old friend came over and we started to talk and catch up

Bur keep in mind he’s gay and his boyfriend was standing right next to him. so anyways , we started to catch up asking each other how life is , our families , work , he was asking about duff and his band , guns n roses

just shit like that and he had to go and get home because he was very clearly out of his mind. so as we were saying our goodbyes we hugged and he kissed my head

so I made way back over to duff and out of nowhere he starts screaming and shouting at me infront of everyone. All band just looked shocked at him and even Axl had to step him and pull him back a little

I was so confused at first what was wrong and plus I couldn’t hear him over the blasting music but when we got outside it was all clear what he was whining about. Apparently I was flirting , let him hug me , I was laughing too much with him and blah blah fucking blah

I’ve been trying to explain he was old friend from back home and he’s gay but nothing. Duff was not buying it

First time watching Better Call Saul I was like, perpetually concerned they would make very boring choices for Jimmy/Kim's relationship so the thrill when they never Did That was just lifechanging for me

Like I initially was lukewarm about Kim's character because I was SO sure they were going to go the route where she's wholly reasonable/put-together/by the book. So that first scene where Jimmy runs her through a scam and he gives a out a fake name and you as the viewer are kinda thinking she's either just hesitantly playing along or entirely not into it, but then she calls herself 'Giselle' and starts riffing right along with him and you know she's not only playing along but 100% IN made me lose my mind. Rinse and repeat for basically the entire show

I guess it's time to address this 💀 I'm sorry I haven't answered the other asks yet on this topic but in my defense I was going

over the whole concept.

First, quick explanation to get anyone left wondering into the loop: In the Echoes chapter, if you pick to meet with Id in the mess hall, you can still get the romance scenes with them even though L is your lover and you don't start the poly. So it looks like the hunter is down to cheat on L with Id.

That wasn't my intention!!!

It is entirely a coding error that I just haven't gotten to fixing yet (the past weeks were really busy for me) but I will fix it so that it's only available if you are past friends with L/in the poly. I truly don't enjoy love triangles and I don't think I want to write one. Besides, there are already so many variances on those romances that it would cause both a hefty workload for me, and just make those romances so unbalanced compared to the other ones. I'm sorry 😔 but feel free to headcanon it in your own way if you want! 💖

Now on the poly, yes, you can lock in the poly later in the story, too.

After watching Adrift, which was an amazing episode, I have so many thoughts about gwen and Rhys' relationship. It seems really cruel of Rhys to act the way he did here. I totally understand that he's frustrated with her but saying that he hates her and telling her never to talk about her job around him, especially when it should be so obvious that her job is traumatising her- even if he DIDN'T know about torchwood at this point, yet he does, wouldn't you be concerned? I was miffed at him for that. Like DUH gwen doesn't exactly treat him right either, far from it, but I was watching this episode like "goodness. they need to break up."

The ending was very sweet though. I still think it would be good to see Rhys apologising as well for the way he talks to her sometimes, but im glad that Gwen told him about what had happened in the episode. It made me think maybe their relationship is salvageable and I no longer felt the frustration I felt at the start.
