I really need to consider closing shop for a while after this month. I'm just so continuously burned out and depressed that all I do is work and sleep. but never fast enough. I'm off my medications. I'm always behind. I can't draw any more. I've lost feeling for everything that makes me happy. All I ever do is try to work on non-drawn things to sell to cover all my expenses for the month.

I have savings because I've been very strict with myself this year but I'm always worried if I close shop, it won't bounce back. But I've never been in a pit like this before. My friends don't even hear from me because I'm so depressed I just can't bring myself to talk any more.

All I can really say is thank to my Patrons making things less scary right now. I'm so thankful for the patience for new art while I'm trying my best to just function. And thank you to people who've been patient with my orders from the shop. I'm trying my best

Like why was this decision made why were these colours used what does that say about the work NOTHING because a bunch of programming took work that DID have intent and theme and purposeful choices and turned it into SLOP. I think it would be funny, if Bruce was scrolling through the Gotham Gazette in his downtime and stumbled upon some outrageous, unhinged article on some moronic socialite's recent weekend activities.

"What the fuck Alfred?" Bruce demanded, throwing the article onto the table.

"One text, Master Bruce," Alfred said calmly, stirring his tea. "One singular message to let me know you'd survived, would that have been so hard?"

"You know I have to pretend this really happened right?" Bruce dragged his hands down his face. "This is insane even for Bruce Wayne--"

"I figured your subsequent stint in rehab would allow time for recovery, or for me to explain your sudden death," Alfred said icily.

Bruce's phone buzzed, flooding with messages. "Oh look, now it starts. I'm firing whoever on the PR team allowed this to happen, this is so far beyond--"

"I overruled them." Alfred sipped the tea.

"You--" Bruce breathed in and out slowly, loosening his fists. "In the future, I will try to get a message out."

Any theories as to why that hostel video has been deleted? Kinda sus how it was just randomly posted, gained lots of views then suddenly it's gone... Also I'm curious to know if LM legal team is aware of the video.

i feel like it's important to remember that the video was posted eight days before the public got its eyes on the video, eight days before yesterday was exactly a day before his SDNY pretrial hearing where he wore green and had hundreds of people supporting him at the courthouse

but unfortunately for whoever posted nobody was looking for or watching the video, this was clearly not the intended effect

so about a week after uploading the video, when it became clear it wasn't causing the waves it was supposed to, somebody on reddit was tipped off about the video (now i know somebody who watched the video could have tipped them off but like what are the chances of that happening with how we know how youtube functions???)

coincidentally this happened at the heels of TD submitting motions for suppression of evidence because he wasn't mirandaized before getting arrested/frisked/questioned

and people lost their shit upon watching the video, which imo is incredibly dumb because we already knew he was in altoona and we already knew he'd been trying to get a room at a local hotel/motel, like surely he didn't teleport out of nowhere when he was arrested at the mcdonald's right??? he had indeed been there and if we take the hashbrown letter to be real, he's not pretending to not be there because well, he actually was there

but the tone of the video implied whatever is the exact opposite of the presumption of innocence, it also said he was disguised when inquiring at the motel but like i dress exactly like that during winter???? hoodie (with beanie if it's too cold), mufflers, and i also wear masks whenever i'm out??? i never really stopped wearing masks??? and i also carry and use hand sanitizers almost every time i touch things like doors??? i would also behave like he was doing in that video because i'm just not very good at interacting with people i don't already know, it might imply nervousness to the layperson and it isn't at all, not everybody is getting grade A's at talking to shopkeepers/hotel owners like my mom

also he doesn't appear cagey at all???? and he's looking at his watch and looking outside and contemplating what to do, not because of any other reason except that it was too damn cold and it was raining and he was soaked and it was early in the morning and he just wanted food??? he just didn't want to get out in the rain and win the award for being the most famous sad wet cat in history at that moment. and honestly that's an extremely normal reaction to the situation

also the hotel clerk was telling him when rooms would be free to let and he was trying gauge how much time he'd need to kill to get back

people who're painting his behaviour as sketchy or going it's so over genuinely don't have a clue on how people around them act in similar situations (because clearly they don't behave like that or else they'd understand what's happening)

so what with people's reactions to the video and the media leaking things randomly out of nowhere (see supposed notebook being called manifesto) and the fact that it was posted before the hearing and became viral after the submission of the motion, it was clearly a smear campaign and i'm sad to say that it worked on a lot of people

a vast number of older people immediately started armchair diagnosing him and calling him whatever they wanted because it was somehow against their image of america's darlingest boy and i don't know why or how but the hashbrown joke also didn't go over well with them (i found it funny tho??? gen z regularly makes jokes like that and i do too???)

so yeah the video did whatever it was intended to do when it was supposedly leaked and i was wondering whether his legal team knows about it because public perception is very important for his case particularly, somebody commented and reminded me that even if they didn't know already before they surely do now because everybody is talking about it, i sure hope nothing major comes out of a video that really means nothing

Anyways, another AU has been marinating in my mind, I like to call this one "Reborn Ancients", it gets the point across.

Basically, before the ancient cookies could get corrupted, their souljams self destructed. Causing the ancients to die with their souljams,

They quickly grew as tall as the beasts and started to fall and fade into nothing, leaving behind silhouettes of their giant forms in the land they fell on (like Golden Cheese leaving behind an oasis in the shape of her in the dessert, for example), the souljams dying with them.

Anyways, death doesn't stay permanent for beings like them, lol. So, for various reasons, they get thrown back into new lives. Here's a summary of the reborn ancients + their new names.

Whipped Vanilla Cookie: A very many winged shepherd who knows everything that has been and will be. He doesn't let that stop him from venturing the world with his bestie (Witch's Lily) and being a rambunctious happy little guy. (He believes that every sight looks better in person, and that applies to what he sees in his mind too)

Holly Bush Cookie: One tough plant lady, literally. She's just visiting between the dragons valley and the Hollyberry Kingdom, happy with the environment and enjoying the people within. She's also hunting down Pitaya Dragon Cookie because she wants to fight them. So she's thriving over all.

Cacao Dust Cookie: A very surprisingly sweet guy who just so happens to have four arms and kinda a spirit despite not being dead. He lives as a guide to people lost in the storms in the Dark Cacao Kingdom and as a swordfighting teacher. A group of spirits saw him guiding someone through a snow storm, thought he was some spirit king, and were attached to the guy by the time he told them that he was infact, just some guy with an odd appearance (unknowing liar).

Solar Cheese Cookie: Phoenix girlie was born from a lake in an oasis next to the Golden Cheese Kingdom's pyramids, eventually meeting the cheese birds and the cookies of the Golden Cheese Kingdom, and quickly swearing to protect their Kingdom and mines from the outside with a very sudden undying loyalty. Solar Cheese thrives in the oasis outside, flying about and fighting any force that dares to attack what she protects, and staring up at the blazing sun with determination. (She's gonna fight it.)

Witch's Lily Cookie: The Faerie Kingdom decided to handle the world's latest new being of darkness and chaos with a little more nurturing kindness and care, resulting in Witch's Lily not wanting to destroy the entire world, infact, she just wants to explore with her many, many dogs! And so she does, meeting Whipped Vanilla along the way and sticking with the guy (her dogs help heard his sheep, and he heals her when in danger, alongside being each other's friends). In all truth, she's a chaotic girlie who hates DE with a burning passion, loves her friend, and wants to have fun and see the wonders of life instead of being told them.
