ive been playing so much hades 2 atp i feel like the first Big early access patch is gonna legit change my life....

#rat rambles#Ive been in my 3d animation class for 2 hours and Im gonna be here for another 2 hours god help me#I have a decent start of a draft for our current 2d animation assignment but I am now kinda burnt out so Im taking a break#which ofc means Im bored as hell I should have brought snacks fr#idk I might dip out of class for a sec to buy some since I think theres some vending machines on campus?#idk where tho I forgor#I also do feel like I need to keep pushing forward tho since ngl I havent even touched this project before today#and I wasnt at the last class so idk I feel like I need to prove Im trying or smth#idk either way Im tired and bored and wish I was playing rainworld rn#also Im animating some of my slugcat ocs! the mama cat boon accidentally possessed and her two kids#I was originally gonna animate different characters but then I decided to stick with some simpler designs to make things faster#like I Could animate more humanoid designs but given Im already behind I dont wanna risk it#rly my biggest issue is having to animate at 24 frames per second Im more used to animating at 15#its not too hard its just gonna be frustrating filling out the like 300 frames I need to do#obviously Im gonna pad with loops and stills this is an animation class after all the teacher will get it#but still thats a lot of frames to figure out what to do with

I think it's awful that two streamers I really enjoy have been duped into believing 3 is skippable and the worst game in the series. Also that the YK2 substory about the movie director was actually about 3 being bad which is a very common rumor that people believe too easily. Its just so disappointing to see how their chat acts sometimes...
i just got out of the kingdom hearts fandom so the concept of people openly and willingly skipping games is such a weird take for me to hear. even so i think skipping games is just weirdly dismissive of the art of video games: you enjoy this series, so why are you trying to rush through it ? don't you want to take the time to enjoy everything the franchise can offer ?
Y3 does get a pretty bad reputation and i can't exactly blame it tho. mechanically, it is one of the more harder games to play casually but not because it's difficult, it's just that the blocking really is egregious at times coupled with the horrible rate in which you build heat
#snap chats#i do have a defense for 3's heat situation though like. If I May#because of 3's heat system it's really pushed me to actually use the alcohol system#as well as to use the low-health boon which also helps me become more accustomed to blocking and dodging#like for all that 3 does to hinder you it does help you use y3's entire kit so that's how i deal with it#the blocking still sucks dick though like Truly if you they just fixed the blocking i think people would be less inclined to skip it#i'm not going to act like Y3 has a phenomenal story either tho like Y3's saving grace really is mine to me#but even he's not really in the game all that much and his appeal only really flourishes by the end/during replays#i'll stop here though i'm gonna accidentally write a whole y3 review LMAOOO#point is dont skip games. or do idk im not your boss#im not saying you have to like every game it's just restrictive to make yourself skip games because other people say so
