Touya and you were childhood friends. You had known him since you were a toddler, because you were neighbours.

The first time you met Touya, was when you were around three years old. Your had just moved in to the neighbourhood, so your mother decided that you should greet and introduce yourselves to the family next door.

You didn't remember that moment with a lot of detail, but you recalled your mother knocking on the door, a beautiful white haired woman opening, and a little Touya peeking from behind.

From that moment on, Touya became part of your life, and you his. You practically ate, slept and breathed together. It was so common for you to be at his house, that you weren't even amazed anymore by the fact that his father was one of the biggest heroes.

To you, he was just the man who usually made your best friend cry.

Touya was homeschooled, so he always asked you what it was like to study with other people. His reality was very different to yours; he was taught by private tutors, and as he grew up, most of his free time was spent on quirk trainning with his father.

Still, you did everything that was possible so you could see him everyday. Of course, you started to spend time with his sibblings as well. Fuyumi was just a few months younger than you, whereas Natsuo and Shoto were still very little.

As the years passed, you started to comprehend better a lot of things, you started to see things that you hadn't seen before.

You saw how Touya's father had a lot of expectations on him, you saw how your best friend was getting injured because of this, you saw the way Rei was as preoccupied as you were, and you understood how impotent you were in this situation.

The only thing you could do for Touya, was hold him while he cried, help him clean his wounds, and hear him vent about his father.

Throughout the decade you had known Touya, you had seen him change. He seemed to have lost his happineess, and replaced it with a motivation to please his father's wishes.

But you always remained as his constant.

Since you met, Touya told you that he would keep you by his side forever, that when you grew up, you'd be together for the rest of your lives.

But destiny played its cards, and on a windy day in winter something happened...

"Y/N, today is the day! I'm going to show my father how a great hero I can become!" Touya said, seemingly excited.

"Are you sure Tou? I'm sure you'll be a great hero, but I'm still worried about you..." You said to your best friend. Touya scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"You sound like my mother, Y/N. I have told you not to worry, I'm stronger than my father, he has to see that!"

"I really hope he does. Just be careful, Tou!" You knew better than to push Touya. He needed to feel supported, so you gave him that.

"Yeah, whatever..." Touya shrugged, and you both stayed silent for a few seconds, before he spoke again.

"You know, Y/N? I want you to be by my side forever. I'll marry you when we're older."

"Huh!? Don't talk nonesense Tou, you're too young to decide that!" You felt your cheecks burn.

"That's why I said when we're older. I'll be the greatest hero, and I'll have the greatest best friend as my partner" Touya gave you a small smirk, so you shoved his shoulder.

"Shut up, idiot!" You said, but couldn't help the smile you had.

You both started laughing and shoving each other. In that moment, your heart burnt with intensity, but the incident that happened later that evening made it burst into a thousand ashes.

That was the last time you had seen Touya; he had made you a promise he wasn't able to fulfill. Your forever dissapeared hand in hand with him.

The years that followed didn't make it any easier, you kept telling yourself "It takes time", but deep down you knew that it was only making you ache more and more.

So, when you watched the news and saw your childhood best friend confessing to be part of the League of Villains, you entered a state of shock. You felt a mix of happiness, nostalgia, hope and depression.

You weren't sure whether he remembered you, if you could contact him or if you should just let everything stay buried. But a few days after the transmission, you found a letter in your doorstep.

It was inside of an envelope, that had "Touya" written in it. You sat down on your couch and opened it, with a hole in your stomach.

"Dear Y/N, It's been a long time, so I'm not sure if you will read this. I haven't had classes in a long of time, so don't get petty with my spelling, okay dumbass? I'm sure you're confused with all the mediatic stunts I pulled, and you may have a lot of questions, so I'll try to answer some of them. That day, after we talked, I went to the place where I had asked my father to meet me. He never showed up. I can't remember much after that; I was surrounded by fire and the next thing I knew, was that I woke up in a hospital three years after. The next years, I worked on developing my quirk. I couldn't go back home, and I couldn't go back to you. I may sound like a stalker, but I've been keeping an eye on you though. Just checking from time to time that you were okay... You know? These are my headcanons about Shinjuro getting a second chance at happiness: Shinjuro is now sober and has rejoined the land of the living. There are far too many miracles happening before his eyes for him to ever lose even another second to the Sake. His first born son is alive against all odds. His second born son is growing up to be a fine young man. He met and fell in love with you. And then when he thought you couldn't be any more amazing, you blessed him and his boys with a precious little one. A/N: I do not (and will not) write Shinjuro Rengoku as an irredemable monster. He is a broken man that was thrust into the role of being a single parent to two young children while working a job that is demanding in every way something possibly can be and puts his life in jeopard constantly, all while trying to process and grieve the loss of his beloved wife. He is a very 'human' character. A deeply feeling, broken person in a heartless messy world. Giving Shinjuro the happiness he too deserves makes me happy. :)

Dad!Shinjuro - who was surprised by how excited his sons were at the news of another sibling

Dad!Shinjuro - who grappled with guilt about moving on and loving another woman. He knows in his heart that Ruka would be happy for him, but it takes some time for him to truly believe it.

Dad!Shinjuro- who kisses your belly and tells you he secretly hopes it is a girl who looks just like you

Dad!Shinjuro - who has the biggest smile of possibly his entire life on his face. It is a baby girl alright, just like he had hoped for, and she already favors you except for a couple things… those big sunset eyes and that flaming hair! She’s a Rengoku alright! 

Dad!Shinjuro - who holds his little girl as if she is a precious gem, his gaze on her scrunched up little face is so full of love it makes your heart swell.

Dad!Shinjuro - who endures endless nights of babbling, crying and pacing with a daughter who refuses to sleep until she is exhausted and just… passes out. According to him, it’s Kyojuro all over again.

Dad!Shinjuro - who watches his sons with their baby sister and can't help but smile at how much those boys love her

Dad!Shinjuro- who watches you holding your daughter against your chest, swaying and humming to her softly, smiling down at her face. Something in his soul heals a little bit more every time he looks at you. 

Dad!Shinjuro - who watches his family together and can't really wrap his head around the fact that he has been given a 2nd chance to fix so many things. 

Another chance to have happiness. To have a sober life, to work at rebuilding his relationship with his sons. A 2nd chance at love with someone as incredible as you, and a beautiful baby girl with a smile that lights up the darkest night.  

He will never touch the Sake again. The words that leave his mouth will be better thought out. He cannot promise he won't get angry and yell, as quiet and shy as he can be, he is still the same hot headed Rengoku he has always been. But even if he does get mad, he will never again utter words that tear his children down in any way. He will guide them and support them. He knows now there are better ways, and with you at his side he knows he can see this through.

Dad!Shinjuro does not know why the universe chose to give him this blessing, but he is going to do everything right from here on out.

Okay so Skid does know and remember his dad, I just was thinking that his father left/died when Skid still wasnt born or when he was very little so Skid doesnt even know that he had a father, but no he does remember his dad, so that means he presented for quite long time in Skids life.

Yes, she is an alone mother, but it doesnt give her permission to just leave her child to himself n his friend n go drink n then spent time w her child drunk. Yeah i know, that she leaves him to mr Wonder n Susie, but lets be honest, were here even a single time when the kids didnt just leave the house n cause problem? No. So i think the Fathers words are make perfect sense, n Lila should think bout it. Also a lil thing i just thought bout, why would Lila throw away her husbands stuff? If he actually died why would she do this? Or hes not dead n he just left for some reason? Idk

Daddy Issues in Naughty Babe

I cannot express enough how much I love every single thing that Naughty Babe is doing.

It constantly emphasizes loving our friends as much as we love our romantic partners, and now this entire episode was about being a good father and wanting better for your son. We see the difference between wanting a better life through money versus wanting a better life through love, and we see the difference between wanting your son to be better than you versus wanting your son to do better than you.

Yi's dad, Makorn, openly adores Diao, which is why Diao willingly confessed to his plan to ruin the wedding, yet Makorn told Diao regardless of what happens, Diao is family.

And we got to see that even though Makorn is tough on Yi, it's because he doesn't want his son to be him. Makorn told his son that his wife and Yi's mother left him because he was a cold man and tells Yi to express his feelings for Diao. He tells his son it's okay to cry.

So even though Makorn could not comfort Yi as a child even when Yi called out to him, he encouraged his son to express his feelings, which is something Makorn himself struggles to do.

Yi wants to be his dad. He wants to be strong and protective. He was reckless once, and it destroyed people's lives, so now he is controlling not only of others, but himself and his emotions. So he leaves his bedroom and has a panic attack in the living room without seeking any form of comfort. His father told him he could cry, but his father also showed him that nobody would be there to comfort him even if he asked.

Then Diao walks in, sits down next to Yi, and wipes his tears away. And Yi allows it.

This is why Makorn loves Diao. Makorn knows that even though he wants better for his son, he is to blame for Yi's callousness. Diao is good for him. Diao is is the remedy to a cold heart, and Makorn never wanted that for his son in the first place.

When Yi snaps on the phone, Makorn tells him to listen to Diao instead.

When Yi is ready to kill Diao's family, Makorn tells him he did not raise him to be violent the way he is.

He doesn't want his son to be better than him. He wants his son to DO better than him. He wants his son to have the love he was incapable of giving him.

And Diao can give him that.

Makorn continuously warns Diao that Yi is hard to love, yet Diao consistently responds that Yi deserves his love regardless of how difficult it is.

Because Diao only wanted love from his father.

His father, Sattha, tells him that he wanted a better life for Diao which is why he has done all he has including sending Diao to the UK.

Yet Diao confronts him with the fact that Sattha also greatly benefited from Diao's predicament, so if Sattha has anything to apologize for, it's that he basically exchanged his child for a better life.

Every time Yi has stumbled, Makorn has been there to scorn him and threaten him, but he has been there. He cannot express his love, but he does express his support, even if it is abrasive. He tells Diao and Aon, the bodyguard, to look out for his son. He cares deeply even if he cannot show it.

Yet Diao literally stumbles in front of his father, and his father doesn't even try to reach out to help because up until this point, Sattha has only financially helped his child through the contract with the Chens but never physically. He doesn't support Diao. He doesn't physically care for him. Because he thought he didn't need to if Diao was financially well off.

Neither Yi nor Diao know what love looks like, but are trying despite their upbringings. Yi tried being controlling and protective because that is what he knew were ways to show love. Diao tried to be obedient because that is what he believed would get him love. Now both are seeing what the love they want actually looks like.

For Diao, it is someone who tells him he loves him. It is someone who allows him to make his own choices. For Yi, it is someone who comforts him when he cries. It is someone who protects him when he feels weak. And for both, it is someone who is their safe place, their home.

Because home is always been rough for both. When Diao called his father at home, his father was short and distant. Yi's father always summons him home because he wants to talk to Yi (aka lecture him).

Makorn wants his son to do better than he did and encourages his son, in his aggressive way, to love better than he did. Sattha wants his to son to be better than he was and made every move to guarantee that. Makorn wants his son to marry for love. Sattha wants his son to marry for money.

Sattha wanted his son to be better than him and didn't give Diao an option. Makorn wanted his his son to do better than him and has given him nothing but (harsh) support.

Both boys have issues that make it difficult for them to trust how they are loved.

But they trust their friends. They trust each other.

And they trust one of their fathers.

Congratulations, Makorn, on being an issue, but ceaselessly trying to help your SONS solve their issues.

- Emma and Hina r boring and used as romance plot devices it’s okay to admit that Wakui can’t write women idk I don’t expect shounen/men to be able to write girls well (still cried when Emma died tho bc she didn’t deserve it!!!)

- lol I LOVE Yuzuha and Senju tho

- I actually do like Emma and Draken together but I also firmly believe Draken is in love w/Mikey and was just projecting onto Emma LMAO

- Yuzuha is a lesbian

- Controversial: I don’t think Shinchiro was THAT great of an older brother. Like he was cool but he still introduced Mikey and Izana into the world of gang life/normalizing violence and yeah OG Black Dragons isn’t like that but….what do u expect when u form a gang??? .obviously there’s a high chance that it’s gonna develop into LEGIT gang activity

- As an adult and someone who was basically raised by an older sibling w/a big age gap (my sis is 7 years older) I kinda don’t blame Takeomi for being a bad older brother??? Realistically he’s a 17 yr old in charge of raising 2 toddlers like NO SHIT he did a bad job. At least Shin had his grandfather to help out but Takeomi actually had no one. Doesn’t explain y he’s a brokey LOL buttttt again I don’t FULLY blame him for being a bad sibling still hurt my boi Sanzu 😤😤

- I HC that Mikey is used to having a caretaker (Draken and later Sanzu) bc when Shin died he was so depressed and genuinely couldn’t get out of bed

Andre disowning Chloe is such a disgusting cop-out, oh my God. And not even for the writers, no, I’ve talked enough about how much the writing of season 5 is really badly thought out. It’s a disgusting cop-out for Andre.

We’ve seen that he apparently had dreams to be a film director and to make the world a better place, but had to give it up to “fit in” with his family. He became the mayor literally just to impress Audrey and hates his current life because of her and his “selfish, heartless daughter”. So now he wants out. And he gets out by... giving it all up.

And, yes, if there are toxic people in your life, people who make you give up your dreams to pursue them and further destroy your life by disrespecting you and treating you like shit, then drop them. But this isn’t just his wife that he could divorce, no. This is his daughter we are talking about.

Chloe, no matter how terrible she is, is still a product of his own shit parenting. If he didn’t want a heartless and selfish daughter, maybe he should have actually put effort into raising her rather than just throwing money at her every time she cried. The fact of the matter is that she’s like every other child on the planet: she didn’t ask to be brought into the world. It was his own decision to have a child, but when it got too hard, he just gets to give up??

And we’re supposed to side with him as the victim?

My brother in Christ, it is your fault your daughter’s a fucking asshole. It is your mess to fix and your problem to deal with. You can’t just say “well, I tried” and drop her like that. What happened to parental responsibility? To taking care of your goddamn kids and helping them through their childhood? Andre didn’t try for a second to help his daughter become a better person and just put his own shortcomings on her “nature”.

And what’s worse, is that he gets “awarded” custody of Zoe. He gets rewarded for being a shit parent by getting another kid to fuck up with. I feel terrible for Zoe. She’s still a kid and deserves at least one loving parent, not some idiot who failed at both jobs he was given throughout his adulthood: being a mayor and a father. It isn’t fair to Chloe, and it especially is not fair to Zoe.

Listen I love James Beaufort. I love him so much. I can't put into words the love I have for him. He's my precious boy. He's doing his best. He's just filled with so much love and deserves so so much better than the life he has lived so far. He's a wonderful flawed character and he's so human and do real. I just adore him. I cried for him, I lauged for him and at moments I hugged my phone while reading the books as an attempt to give him a much deserved hug. James Beaufort they can never make me hate you. You understand all that.

BUT! The second season 2 of Maxton Hall drops and if it goes according to the second book (which most likely like 99% certain it will) you will never catch me defending that man. Absolutely the heck not. Everything was 100% on him and I will never deny it. In fact he needed to beg more. I will be actively supporting people dragging his ass in the begining of the season.

Loving a character does not mean denying their mistakes. I love James and I love his character development, literally the stark contrast from book 1 James to book 3 james makes me so so happy, his character growth is so beautiful to witness. And at a certain angle I understand why he acted like that. Does not make it an excuse because I have never seen a character oh so majorly, royaly, unimaginably fuck up that badly. He deserves all the hate and all the dragging he's about to get.

They will be tough times for being a James Beaufort stan tho I'll admit. Whatch me going at every post screaming at James like "I get it! I get it completely like girl speak your truth! Listen, Harry with anyone but Ginny? A terrible love interest if I've ever seen one. But the Harry that exists around Ginny? Now, that guy is a great love interest.

Harry around Ginny is the best Harry hands down. He is fun and open and gentle and caring and attentive and emotionally intelligent. Fiercely protective but deeply respecting.

The whole reason why he wants her away from danger is that he would quite literally let the rest of the world burn if it were the only option to keep her safe.

Ginny is Harry's exception. She is a constant exception to his behaviour since they were literally two awkward children. Harry was more comfortable at twelve with a crying Ginny that at fifteen with a crying Cho. In DH a second he is there claiming that Ginny is amazing because she rarely cries and two minutes later he is whining about the fact that he can't take care of her while she cries because Ron is being a fucking idiot.

Give some credit to my homeboy.

And he has so much respect for her strength and her talents. Like so much.

She is basically a goddess to him.

He can't even keep things from her, the poor guy. He tells her that he has to kill Voldemort when it's supposed to be like... the most important secret of the whole war? He has a hard time keeping things from her mother only because she has her eyes!!!

Oh. My. GOD. The ending to Puer et monstrum was so devastating I nearly cried..

Reader was and still is as strong as Zandy said, because after everything that would happen afterwards I don’t think I’d be able to manage. I cannot imagine the anguish of losing a child, especially not one of my own, but to learn my own husband was responsible for their death? PHEWWW. Reader is better than me- that’s all I’ll say! 😅

Also the way you depicted the panic for Zandy seriously had me feeling stressed.. I wished Reader had begun hugging him and telling him everything would be okay. I know they were desperate to save Zandy’s life, but it really seemed Dottore wouldn’t have changed his mind. Even when they got to the point of pleading. THATS JUST SO SAD. The impending time of Zandy’s death was so sick :(( </3

This just opened a whole new can of worms of me because imagining Zandy and the segments in their final moments- their feelings of being scared, panicked, just a multitude of emotions- all towards the fact they’re all about to die. Imagine the segments, who too, thought of reader right then- thinking of reader as they perished & not being able to reach reader like Zandy had.. I need a moment- 😭

As much as Reader tried to comfort him, I imagine they were having their own sort of breakdown having just learned that all of the segments they've known for years were literally about to die in mere minutes, so many things rushing through their mind on what they should do and how to stop it and just everything they went through with them. It was hard for them to just believe that after spending so many years with the segments, they'd just go poof. At least Zandy was able to be with the person he loved most.

The segment's last moments are also something that KILLS me inside like- 😭 they did not need to die!! We deserved to see them!! Poor Reader, they probably think about what the segments wanted to say to them before they died. You just wish you could have provided some comfort in their last moments, although it's impossible now... Never forgiving Omega for this 🙄 (my innocent pretty wife)

I just don't trust any of the additional media with Steve because it just keeps reminding us that he was an asshole.

The Robin book reminds us that he was an asshole. The Lucas book reminds us that he was an asshole. I'm almost certain that the Eddie book will remind us that Steve was an asshole, possibly make him out to be a bigger asshole than the show.

And that's on top of the way we get no backstory to him or his family. Between the show and the additional media we at least have the names for the parents for pretty much every other main kids/teens and even some non mains. The show has made a point of showing us the parents of Barb and Heather, but they can't even mention Steve's parents by name once anywhere?

Supplemental material is always sort of...half canon to me? If it includes minor stuff I like that doesn't mess with established canon I accept it (Robin's parents being Melissa and Richard and also former hippies, scoops troop playing dnd to cheer Erica up, Steve and Mike having an awkward talk about what happened post s1 where Mike cries at him), but when it has things I don't like or are contradicted by canon I ignore it lol.

It sucks because Robin tells us in the show exactly why she thought he was an asshole. The girl she had a crush on liked Steve, he didn't know who she was, he ate bagels messily, he asked what Robin perceived as stupid questions. Literally petty teenage shit!! I only have knowledge of the additional media via Tumblr but I saw that apparently in the Lucas book Lucas specifically doesn't go to Steve because he thinks (for some reason that isn't given) that if Steve plays sports again he'll revert back into an asshole (who was just a normal jerk teenager level let's be real) even though Steve, at the time he helped Dustin and then helped save Lucas, was still on the basketball team!! That's so sad and I'm glad it isn't official canon because no :( Lucas deserves to have his mentor on the basketball team and also bond with Steve practicing!!

The Eddie book better not make Steve anything other than mildly frustrated or annoyed at Eddie's loud lunchtime rants. They never spoke before! Maybe Steve bought weed from him a couple times but they never had meaningful interactions! Eddie's whole thing about Steve was that he made assumptions based on facts (big house, girls love him) he had heard about Steve, not anything Steve had directly done. It'll be so stupid if they fake retcon that!!

Steve deserves literally SOMETHING telling us a little about his parents though. Like their names. Or maybe if they're from town or not...just. something more than we have.

catching up to bnha (spoilers for chapters 349-352)

okay i watched the episodes first before reading the chapters and wow. the anime did a great job.

as someone who absolutely adores and feels for toya's lore, this battle was particularly gut wrenching. i was literally sat on my couch, bawling over the fact that the todoroki kids had to clean up and confront their parents' messes.

i am aware that most of the fans dislike dabi/toya due to the fact that his story was dumbed down to "a kid who lacked attention." but i am fully convinced his character solely exists for the eldest child in every family.

toya lost 3 years of his life and the fact the first thing he thought of when he woke up was his dad :( that he was probably worried and that he should go to apologize to his family for the things he did. :( when he mentioned that he wanted to be a hero, i absolutely lost it. this guy wanted to be like his dad more than anyone else. he had the weight of expectations on his shoulder from when his dad acknowledged his potential. yet of course, his dreams were crushed by his very own parents and he was left alone to deal with that loss.

well there you go, another eldest child = guinea pig proof for every family. do you have any idea what it's like to strive to become the person your parents acknowledged you to be but only to have it visibly replaced by someone younger than you? a literal child, your own flesh and blood, who's naturally talented and never had to worry about a thing in their life? well, that feeling sucks ass.

but shoto has grown so much in the story. he's genuinely a really nice guy who's willing to move forward and face his past for the future. and i love how in his life, he has never interacted with toya once but he still calls him his brother and talks to him like it's so natural. this moment in the manga made me shed a tear ಥ⁠_⁠ಥ:

got me all up in my feels man. toya is just so full of rage and resentment and shoto acknowledged that. ultimately though, he was right. it was toya's choice to attack innocent civilians and i love how shoto told him to take it out on their family instead of others ಥ⁠_⁠ಥ (i mean yeah technically he did with all the nomu he sent but whatever)

the tears i've cried because of this panel. this battle must've been really hard for both of them. ughhh my heart is shattered over the fact that shoto still wants to spend time with toya and toya is absolutely repulsed by his existence. (this finishing blow must've been a pain in the gut for him because once again, the prodigy has defeated the failure disjisksdhjs) i can't do this yall. they deserved better. so much better.

anw, this moment reminds us once again that a hero's true purpose is to reach a helping hand. izuku with shigaraki, shoto with toya, ochaco with toga, class 1-A with aoyama, and many more. granted, some of their actions are unforgivable but since this is fiction, i'm going to continue being a sucker for stories that give even irredeemable characters a second chance--dead or alive, it doesn't matter.

well, here's hoping i get to see the todoroki siblings in therapy. actually, the todoroki family in general. and then someday, a moment of toya and shoto going out to have a nice meal of udon together ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ

Every scene he's in, I fast forward real quick because I literally can't stand him and his creep vibe. Everytime he's near Viktor I was screaming stay the fuck away from him. Manipulative creepy bastard.

7. Agnes

She's sweet and nice. But I think that's literally all. Nothing to complain about her but nothing to compelling either.

6. Cha-Cha

She's crazy and she's a psycho but I enjoy watching her. Sometimes she's too whiny though.

5. Eudora Patch

Patch is nice and really cool. Buttt I don't like how she patronizes Diego. I get where she's coming from and most of the time Diego NEED to hear what she's saying and she has a point. But I don't have to like it lmao (like when she said something about recess over and not running around in stupid costume. Again, she has a legit point but I felt hurt on Diego's behalf.)

I was so surprised when she died though and so sad too. I never thought they'd kill a character just like that 😭 she deserves better, ngl

4. Reginald Hargreeves

My toxic trait when I first watched s1 is that I thought that Reggie might actually love his children. Even with all that aside he's a cool villain and the mysteriousness around him in s1 pulled me into him. I don't necessarily like him but he's really interesting and enjoyable to watch.

3. Hazel

My guy. I LOVE his character's arc and I felt for him so much. He's just so tired and he deserves to be happy.

2. The Handler

First of all I just wanted to say that I LOVE the way the actress acts. I read that the Handler was actually written for a man and when the actress got the role they wanted to change things but she didn't let them. The actress nailed her part!

I love her charisma, her fashion, her control and poise. I love the way she spoke too! She's a great antagonist mainly because she's not irritating to watch but the opposite (s3 Allison can't relate lmao). She's a creep toward Five though, ngl. Ma'am, the boy looked THIRTEEN. But watching her and Five outsmart each other is so fun. I wish she stayed longer in the show.

1. Grace Hargreeves

I only have one word: MOTHER.

I cried for Grace, I felt for her, I wanted to hug her and this is insane bc she's literally a robot! I love the way she treated her kids and the way she loved them and the fact that there's more in her than metal and screw or something. I just love her so much okay! She deserves everything 😭. The Umbrellas are messed up yes, but I think they're also semi-decent people because of Grace. They called her mom knowing damn well she's a robot! They loved her! 😭

Just to throw in an akishinji thing that I think about a lot uhhh there’s this one interaction between them from the audio episode thingies that’s kind circled back recently where they’re talking during a storm and reminiscing on the past it’s very good has a lot of cute moments but one thing that really stood out to me is Shinji calls Akihiko a crybaby but like not in an insulting way, it’s clear that he means it very fondly. And then it’s Akihiko who gets defensive about it and seems to interpret it as a bad thing which is really interesting to me FOR SO MANY REASONS like first off

I think what Shinji loves most about Akihiko is his sincerity and his big heart and how he just always tries his best to do the right thing he just can’t help but be nice and Shinji just really latches into that cuz like. Hes just felt like shit and feels hes unworthy of love and compassion and tries so so hard to push Aki away so he can have a better life where Shinji doesn’t drag him down but. Akihiko doesn’t really pick up on those signals lol and he just always comes back every time and never stops loving Shinji with his whole heart it’s very annoying when you’re trying to disappear lol. Like he loves the sincerity and kindness so much he just doesn’t think he deserves it and it really confuses him when he’s at his lowest. But he never wants Aki to stop being so sweet not for one second and he really admires how Akihiko can just feel things much easier than Shinji can and how he cries a lot it’s very endearing

Meanwhile Akihiko is definitely struggling with toxic masculinity and some hardcore repression lol he interprets strength in a very literal way and therefore thinks that crying=weak and so he really doesn’t like the fact that he cries so easily and this is where we get to see some of that classic akishinji miscommunication cuz Shinji actually loves the fact that Akihiko is a crybaby but Akihiko, having some major autism swag, feels like he’s being insulted and it’s over something he’s most insecure about so like of course he’s gonna get defensive when he’s called a crybaby it completely wrecks his image as a Strong Man. And I just think that’s a really good detail just like sometimes when you know someone really well you’ll playfully tease and it can have a really big effect if you’re not careful and god these two just have so much genuine love for each other but are just both Going Through It and suck at communicating and this is definitely something they’re gonna need to work on lol

But yeah I think it’s easy to look at Shinji calling Aki a crybaby and think he’s being an ass or that he hates that side of Akihiko but it’s so far the opposite he’s just! An edgy guy with massive depression and is having very complicated feelings (such as Homosexuality) and sucks at words and needs to learn how to communicate better. And it’s very tragic the miscommunication here cuz it’s like dammit Aki stop being insecure and realize that Shinji loves you and in particular that part of you and realize you don’t have to repress anything and that true strength is letting yourself cry when you feel you need to! And dammit Shinji let yourself be loved and realize you’re worthy of it and get better at noticing when your actions are actually genuinely upsetting Akihiko cuz he’s not gonna stop reaching for you and he’s just gonna feel worse about himself!

Uh yeah anyways I’m not even kinda normal about them I literally never stop thinking about them my life is in shambles 😞

Okay, first of all, I think Klance and Drarry are very different ships. Klance is competitive and sweet and they have a best friend dynamic while Drarry is competitive in a little more hostile way. They are more distanced, I think and have less physical intimicy because they seem more verbal to me. They are also far more complicated, I think. And chaotic. Klance is more of a rivalry while Drarry is literal enemies who hate that they like each other. I hope that makes sense. 1. Gives nose/forehead kisses a) Klance is a competitive idiot in love with a socially awkward wall. I think both could initiate either of these things. It makes a difference who does it though. If Keith initiates it, then Lance will automatically try to one up him in doing it more often or surprising Keith with it. If Lance starts it, then Keith will try to copy it because he thinks Lance is socially more competent and therefore knows how to do romance. b) Drarry: Either could initiate it but it wouldn't be soft because they would do it to annoy each other more often than not. I think Harry is the more affectionate one, so he's more likely to do it in an affectionate manner when they are alone.

2. Gets jealous the most a) Klance: Lance is LOUDLY jealous, Keith SILENTLY. Both are jealous types but Keith is more mature about it. b) Drarry: Draco. He WILL deny it though. Harry is smug about the fact that Draco is far too loyal to ever betray him.

Keith doesn't drink while Lance definitely does b) Drarry: Ron XD No seriously, Draco and Harry will drink each other under the table and think it's a good idea to apparate in that state. I would say that Harry teaches him how to cook instead. (And Harry can cook, he had to do it at the Dursleys place. AFTER Draco learned to make decent meals, he'd prepare a to go box for Harry once in a while and they would both never mention it because it's more intimate then either of them are comfortable with making fun of.

9. Has the better parental relationship a) Klance: Lance. Keith is working on his relationship with his mom though. He's also better with kids, but Keith comes around. b) Drarry: Drarry has a better relationship with his own father, simply because he had one and after reading the cursed child, I have to say he's a better father too. Harry is too lax with his children while Draco smoothes out the problems of his own childhood. It's not entirely fair though because Harry's parents are dead, the people who raised him suck and yeah. It kind of depends on how you define parental relationsip in his case.
