Becoming Papa

Hello, Hello! Here is the next installment in my series of drabbles, headcannons and one shots about Dad!Sukuna!

Authors note: I have had horrible writer's block lately, but at least I managed to create this! I've said it before and I'll say it again: Sukuna, in his true form, being a good Daddy and doting father just does something to me. Sukuna, in his true form, being a good husband does as well! So enjoy both in one story :)

Summary: Headcanons and brain rot about Sukuna during your pregnancy and with a new born

WC: 900+

CW: female reader, mother reader, breastfeeding, Sukuna has feelings he is not familiar with, non-graphic mention of labor, new born baby, true form Sukuna (4 arms, 2- oh wait this isn't that type of story...) some slightly suggestive humor (other than that horribly lame joke I should probably apologize for), it's just plain Dilf Sukuna fluff and crack

Sukuna who returns from a few days away only to have Uraume inform him you had been throwing up every morning he was gone

Sukuna who was unsatisfied with your writing it off as a stomach bug and attempted to heal you with his RCT only to discover the cause - You were pregnant

Soon to be Dad!Sukuna who was speechless at this discovery and looked at you with all 4 of his eyes blown open for a few moments before he spoke and gave you the answer

Soon to be Dad!Sukuna who was overwhelmed with new and unfamiliar feelings at the smile on your face and the joy in your eyes at the news

Soon to be Dad!Sukuna who was unable to sleep that night as thoughts of the future ran through his mind. He held you close with one arm around your shoulders and another wrapped around your hips with his large hand resting over your lower stomach.

Soon to be Dad!Sukuna who held your hair back every time you got sick. His other hands stabilized you or rubbed soothing circles against your skin. 

Soon to be Dad!Sukuna who handled your rollercoaster of emotions way better than you or Uraume had thought he would.

Soon to be Dad!Sukuna who gets up in the middle of the night to get whatever it is you are craving without having to be asked. He complains the whole way there and back, and normally hands it to you with a snarky comment, somehow still determined not to let you know just how much you and your child mean to him.

Soon to be Dad!Sukuna who was laying with his head on your stomach the first time he felt the baby kick

Soon to be Dad!Sukuna who poked back against your belly every time he got thumped, making you shake your head and chuckle. 

Soon to be Dad!Sukuna who complained that the baby was already a little shit and a cock block. He acted like he was put out but truthfully, as much as he longed to be intimate with you, he would never want to cause you more discomfort

Soon to be Dad!Sukuna who when you went into labor sat behind you, two arms on your belly using RCT to make sure you were both okay while the other two arms helped you hold your legs up

Dad!Sukuna who almost teared up at the sound of the baby’s cry tearing through the room.

Dad!Sukuna who would always remember the happy laugh you let out and the love in your eyes as you looked down at the baby now in your arms and then looked up at him and excitedly told him it was a girl

Dad!Sukuna who would never admit it but was afraid to hold his child. That thing was small and loud and fragile. 

Dad!Sukuna who looked down at the baby he finally agreed to hold and felt a warmth inside himself he had never experienced before. She had his pink hair but your light eyes. He already felt so much love for her and pride in her. It was a strange and foreign feeling to him, but oddly enjoyable. He knew in that moment there was nothing he would not do to protect his daughter.

Dad!Sukuna who sat alone that first night, holding his daughter while you slept and felt his eyes well up with tears of joy. For the first time ever. She started to whine and he pulled her closer, laying back beside you with her on his chest. 

Dad!Sukuna who had never slept peacefully or relaxed so much as he did sleeping with a baby on his chest

Dad!Sukuna who had to make a promise to you that he would not eat his daughter after he had agreed with you that newborn babies smell good. He had laughed at you as he did, as that was not what he had meant. Some animals ate their young. He was not planning to at this point in time, but the teenage years might be a totally different situation.

Dad!Sukuna who loved your voice and watched with so much love in his heart and eyes as you sang softly while your daughter suckled at your breast

Dad!Sukuna who watched his daughter sleep, always wanting to make sure her chest is still rising and falling, that she is still sleeping peacefully

Dad!Sukuna who knows he is already wrapped around his daughter’s tiny little pinky but would never tell either of you that.

Dad!Sukua who could not wait to hear your daughter say ‘Papa’ and was trying from birth to get her to do it, ignoring your advice that she was too young to speak. She was his child, afterall. Certainly she was already far more intelligent than other babies her age.

Dad!Sukuna who watched you watching your daughter and found himself breathless and speechless - not only by your beauty (you had taken his breath away since the first time he saw you, and he had only grown more attracted to you throughout your pregnancy)- but the look of so much love in your eyes. Love for your daughter. Love for the little life you had created together.

Dad!Sukuna who always thought being called the King of Curses, and being known as the strongest sorcerer there was, would always be what satisfied him. But now, as he lays there with his daughter in his arms, her impossibly small hand trying to wrap around his thumb, he  knows how very wrong he was.

Fingers weaved through his hair, curling around it and giving it a gentle tug. Their eyes locked for a second, and Mafuyu knew he mirrored the same hunger present in Ritsuka’s eyes, because his boyfriend's smirk grew a bit wider. “Let’s see if that’s true, shall we?” Ritsuka muttered.

Mafuyu and Ritsuka find themselves in a bathroom getting ready for a live show, after weeks of touring and not having any time for themselves.

Rock, Paper, Scissors

Kazuki sighs, looking at the contents of the refrigerator. He’s bone tired after a long week of reconnaissance and has no inspiration of what to make for dinner. He knows Rei won’t mind, but after seeing how much instant ramen the man had packed away, he was determined to get some nutrients in him most days – especially with the exercise regime he kept to. He knew he drank protein shakes, but Rei needed to respect the other food groups too.

“Hey, why don’t we order in for dinner?” He calls over his shoulder, finally shutting the refrigerator door in defeat. Rei’s on the sofa, playing a first person shooter on the games console. The blonde remembered telling Rei he should get a hobby – he used to spend an awful lot of time sleeping, smoking and staring into space – and, after they’d moved the exercise equipment in, Kazuki thought video games might fit the bill. He knew the Suwa heir wasn’t exactly going to go out socializing, but he had to suggest something to try and bring a smile to his face.

“Pizza.” The answer comes, his eyes never leaving the screen as he pulled off a perfect head shot.

“Ugh, sure.” Kazuki agrees – he’d had a sushi place he’d been interesting in trying, but he can’t be bothered with the fight. He picks up his phone and starts scrolling to find a menu for a place that delivers. “But you’re paying.”

“Why?”

“Your idea.”

“You’re the couch crasher.”

“I buy the groceries all the time…”

“Because you insist on home-cooked meals,” Rei grunts, mashing the buttons on the controller once more and Kazuki hears the victory ding.

“Okay. Rock, paper, scissors it? Loser pays.” Kazuki suggests, continuing to scroll through places on his phone.

“You want us to fight using only rock, paper and scissors? Interesting combination.” Rei stands up and stretches, looking around to see if any of the items are in sight. There’s probably some scissors in one of the kitchen drawers, some paper too… But a rock?

Kazuki looks up at him, a sarcastic retort on the tip of his tongue but the high-five incident a few weeks prior stops him. “No, no”, he laughs, lightly, rubbing the back of his head. “It’s just a game to help you decide something. I’ll pay…”

Rei’s the other side of the counter now. “Teach me.”

Kazuki places down his phone – he feels awful every time he lets a little bit of information like that slip, though he knows Rei’s aware that he didn’t have a standard childhood. “Okay, so it’s a game played between two people with your hand. You can play three options. Rock,” he clasps his right hand in a fist, making sure to keep it close to his chest so Rei doesn’t think he’s about to sock him one. He watches as Rei easily copies his motion. “Paper…” A flat palm this time – again, keeping it down low. “And scissors.” He returns his hand to the fist position, extending out his index and middle finger to mimic the snipping motion. “Got it?”

“Yeah. Then what?” Rei looks intrigued, quickly switching between the three positions with his hand.

“So, you can play one of those after the count of three. Rock beats scissors – it’ll blunt the blades. Scissors beats paper – it’ll cut through it. Paper beats rock – cos it covers it, or something. I always thought that was the weakest one of the lot…” He shrugs.

“Okay. After a count of three?”

“Yeah. You kinda bounce your fist like this and count, and we reveal what we’re going play on ‘go.’ I know it starts off looking like a rock, but you can change it to paper or scissors… Wanna give it a go?”

“Sure,” he shrugs, but Kazuki can tell he’s intrigued enough to give it a go.

“Right. On go, okay?” Rei nods. “One, two, three, go!” Kazuki goes for rock and so does Rei. The black-haired assassin looks up at him. "Then what?" "It's a draw. So, we can again. One, two, three, go." This time, Kazuki chooses paper and Rei goes for scissors. Rei looks at him, as if waiting for something to happen.

Kazuki smiles, “Go ahead - snip my paper in victory."

There’s a little hesitation, but Rei moves his hand forward and mimics the snipping motion on Kazuki’s flat palm.

“And that’s it?”

“Yeah, we can have another go and do a best of three if you like."

“But I won already.” Rei smirks.

“Yeah, but you might not the next round. Makes it more exciting, doesn’t it?”

“Mm, nah. You’re paying for the pizza. Medium, supreme – no green peppers or tomatoes.” Rei’s already turning back to his game as Kazuki sighs heavily.

“Come on - at least do a best of three for the veg!”

All these fics are something I started and one day might finish XD I'm dividing the list by fandoms because there are too many 🤷‍♀️

and there was one bed - new gratsu fic; you can imagine what it is about 😂

Slayers mating - gratsu idea that is somewhat written in the form of an outline and some scenes are actually written; I have no idea when I'll finish it 😅

gray is secretly a vampire - crack fic where outsiders decide Gray is a vampire and rumors spread like wildfire, pure humor; I'm pretty sure I saw some post on tumblr and had an idea

gratsu natsu knocks on the door - I'm pretty sure the title is a pun to the opening scene of my only multichap gratsu fic, A Sham

Naruto:

kushina lives AU - exactly what it says, I'm working on it on and off every now and then; while Kushina lives, Tsunade is actually the main character, collecting kids just like old ladies collect cats 🤣

seals naruto au wanting to keep the fox in - tbh this is basically just an idea in form of an outline and a few written snippets scattered around; don't really know if I'll ever write it completely

naruto timetravel 1 - this was actually supposed to be team 7 boruto timetraveling to naruto canon before that timetravel filler arc in boruto ever happened. sadly, I never tried to finish it

naruto timetravel 2 - naruto and sauske's consciousness from the future appear as flashes of memories/dreams to naruto and sasuke of the original naruto canon timeline before they graduated academy

kamui raw bondage - a kakaobi kinktober fic I never got around finishing, it was supposed to be a companion fic to my I've patched up the scrapes in my heart

One Piece:

LawLu stranded on an island AU plot - so this is one rare outline instead of a fic lmao (I never do real outlines 😂)

ofmd crossover - had an idea for a crossover but never finished it.

BNHA:

DFO/canon - tbh I don't even remember what this is supposed to be beyond DFO, but what I can see from a fast scan, it's one of the rare outlines lol

baku deku unconventional A/B/O - it's unconventional because it's alpha/alpha pairing; an old idea that I never got to finishing

genderswap au - ah this is one of the oldest wips in the fanfic folder; it's not so much of a genderswap as much as genderswap characters come to the canon through a portal; very fun

DabiHawks mermaid au - a discord drabble I wrote for a prompt and saved to finish one day

FT x DA:II crossover funny - just like it says: crackfic crossover of fairy tail and dragon age 2; Fenris is sure Natsu is a rage demon 🤣🤣🤣

Josuke'a accidental time travel adventure - I had a craving for Josuke time-traveling to part 3 and there was none to read. gasp. but then one day a fic with a similar premise appeared on ao3 so I read that instead of finishing my own XD

FuruSawa fic - an ace no diamond oneshot that just needs a satisfying end (which I need to write so who knows when I'll finish 🤣)

Shiki x Weisz - eden's zero fic just as title says XD

I still have a few more docs but those are literally a few sentences and I didn't bother to list them here

okay so i don't actually have a WIPs folder at the moment because I'm a very one-fic-at-a-time person and I've been busy with life in the last month, but I do have an ~ideas document~ (NSFW text so it's under the cut~)

At the moment I have 96.

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

3. What fandoms do you write for?

I have published fics for Fairy Tail only, but I have a few WIP's for Buddy Daddies (not sure if they'll ever see the light of day though lmao)

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Generally, yes. I love comments and try to respond as much as I can. Unfortunately my ADD will sometimes kick my ass and I'll forget, the comments pile up, and then when there's too much I'll postpone the responding. I'm sure you can see where that's going...

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I have no idea, I don't really do angsty endings. Maybe With You By My Side?

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Not sure if it's the happiest, but I think Kiss Me has a very sweet and happy ending.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not really? Only on some of the ones we've posted on ff.net.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Don't mind if I do! I love smut, but I do feel like there's a time and place for it, so I wisely ignore my intrusive thoughts and don't put it into every story. As to what kind, I somehow always end up with the fluffy kind of stuff, even when I originally aimed for raw and dirty.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

I don't really do crossovers, but I love AUs. So like, I wouldn't cross Fairy Tail with....hmm let's say The Office, but I might create an AU that takes inspiration from the Office in some way?

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Someone did ask once, and I said sure, but I'm not sure if they ever translated it.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Lots. I have multiple series together with @mdelpin . At this point I think we collab more than we do solo.

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

Sting x Rogue (Fairy Tail). They're everything to me. No contest.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

I have a metric fuckton of WIP's, and I'm sure quite a few of them aren't going to make it. Like one of the many "Untitled" where Sting is semi-forced (power of friendship) to create an account on a dating app.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Hmmm pacing I think? And I'm not sure if it's a strength, but I like doing descriptions.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I definitely struggle with dialogue/interactions when there's more than 2 characters involved.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I think it can be fun. My first language is actually Dutch, and I don't think I'd mind using it.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Fairy Tail.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

Tough one, cause this one depends on my mood. At the moment I'll go with Once Upon a Nightmare (which is still unfinished, but shhhh). My Name also has a special place in my heart cause it was the first fic I wrote, finished, and posted.

Precious Two

Here is the first of the promised new creations in my series of drabbles, headcannons and one shots about Dad!Sukuna!

Summary: While settling into this wholly unplanned role as a father, you knew Sukuna would have some speed bumps. You just never thought that nicknames would be one of them.

“I shall call her precious two,” Sukuna said from where he laid on the bed beside you, holding your 2 day old daughter while she slept. 

“That is a terrible nickname,” you screwed up your face at him.

“How so? Do I not call you precious one?’

“You do, and I love it,” you smiled, leaning over to press a kiss to the side of his face.

It never failed to do something to his insides that you kissed the malformed side of his face as if it were the same as the other. Though he would rather have his toenails plucked off one at a time than admit that out loud. 

He turned his head and cupped the back of your skull with one of his free hands. “You are my precious one. Always.”

At that moment your daughter decided to give her lungs a stretch, alerting that she was hungry. She was her father’s child. Girl got the hangry from her Papa. A demand feeder and a bottomless pit. Come to think of it, both of them did also share the trait of calming down once a boob was in their mouth…

“Alright, precious t… child, we are all aware you are hungry, you can stop the noise now… now… as in this instant stop it…”

You chuckled as you fixed your pillows and opened your robe in preparation as you stretched out your hands for her. “Come here, little one. Mama's ready for you.”

Sukuna handed her over, watching you and her with so much love in his eyes. There was something about the sight of you breast feeding his child that filled him with something akin to a warmth. He scooted closer, wrapping an arm around you back, resting another one on top of your head, and another giant hand moving across you to run his fingers through the thick pink hair sprouting from his daughter's impossibly small head.

“Drink up, little princess of curses and deadly poisons. A world of curses will be under your command, you must be strong to keep them in line,” he said, love in all 4 his eyes as he watched her suckle at your breast. He sat back and smirked at you. “Is that better, precious one?”

“Let's shorten it to just Little Princess, hmm? We don't want to put too much pressure on her this young,” you turned your head and kissed his chest before snuggling into him.

“She should get used to her title now. She is the first born child of the King of Curses.”

“First born?”

“Yes,” he said, like it was a dumb question. He looked down at her and one corner of his mouth quirked up in a smile. “Precious two came out pretty damn cute. Things only get better with practice. So by the time we get to Precious Fo-”

He grunted, entirely for show, when you lightly thumped your fist against his chest. “What the hell was that about?”

“1. I told you precious two was a no go, so there is no chance I will endorse precious three or precious four. Get that through your thick skull now. And 2. PRECIOUS FOUR? Are you going to carry any of these babies?”

“I have 4 hands don’t I,” he gave you a droll stare.

You turned your face into his chest and groaned. “That’s not what I meant…”

He grinned from ear to ear. He knew damn well what you meant, it was just too much fun to fuck with you. He kissed the top of your head before resting his head back against his head board, resting on his arm folded behind his neck, he pretended to be lost in thought, musing softly aloud.  “Little poison princess? “Sorry, little princess, looks like you’re gonna be an only child,” you smiled at the way her little hand fisted around your finger. 

You watched her eating, glancing up to see Sukuna looking at you and you knew the truth. You would give that man as many babies as you were able to. Not only because he was gorgeous and you thoroughly enjoyed the act of making babies with him, but also because you knew the truth - that ‘monster’ you married was going to be the best father in the world.
