Breakaway | hockey!Azriel × reader
Summary: You're not a fan of a kiss cam. And neither is your boyfriend.
Word count: 1,8k
Warnings: swearing, miserable knowledge of hockey (sorry yall), Rhys being a protective asshole over his sister
A/n: Anyone a hockey fan? No, just me? Okay. Another thing is, that I described university as I know it in my country haha. I hope no one will be confused
Also yes, I did take inspiration from tiktok. I just loved that scene <3
Leaves started to fall which meant your favorite season was starting. You loved anything and everything that came with autumn. The pumpkin spice, moody weather, sweaters, and books. With autumn knocking on your door, the new semester has begun. You didn't mind studying, you actually enjoyed it to a certain degree, but the stress is what always got to you during exams. You were just starting your second year of university, so you knew what to expect. To many that was all. Just endless studying and partying to get their minds off things. You? Not really. Ever since you could remember, fall meant the hockey season started. Were you a hockey player? No, not at all. Ice skating was your passion, just not hockey. That didn't matter, because your brother was the golden child. Rhysand played because your father used to. You would never say it out loud, mainly because it would inflate his ego even more, but Rhysand was a star player. He was so much better than your father and you knew that if he wanted to, he would make it far.
Rhys never acted towards you with any malice other than just a bit of sibling rivalry. He was actually quite protective of you, given the fact you were his little sister. But whatever you did was never good enough for your father. You might study medicine, but Rhys was finishing law. You might figure skate but you were no hockey player. And most of all, you were a woman. And your father despised you for it. You were expected to make it to every game, but no one ever wanted to attend your competitions. You enjoyed watching the games, especially when Rhys met his best friends and teammates at university. The games became so much more interesting when Azriel entered the ice. Rhys might be the captain and the center, but Azriel was a force to be reckoned with, the fastest player in the rink. You became friends with both Cassian and Azriel quickly since you often visited their house to get away from your parents. Rhysand of course was glad but you knew you were off-limits to his friends. Not only was it obvious in how he glared at both of them whenever they made a comment he didn’t appreciate. But the first time you met, Cass basically undressed you with his eyes. From what you heard he reminded them often to not mess with his sister.
It did not stop you from developing feelings for him the moment you laid eyes on him. For a while, it did seem he viewed you only as his best friend's little sister. Which you had a hard time accepting. Your relationship changed when you sneaked into a party they had thrown in celebration of a victory last year. You were a first-year, and your first semester at university had been hectic, but living close to your brother and away from your parents was a long-awaited blessing. Having a taste of freedom made you bold. Azriel couldn't take his eyes off of you, you had been like a magnet. He hadn't been the only one as you attracted the attention of another freshman. Azriel might not have acted on his attraction towards you before but seeing you with another man changed that. One thing led to another and you were sneaking out together whenever you found time.
It had been a year and your brother still had no clue. And you intended to keep it that way. You loved your boyfriend, you didn't want to worry about his teeth off the ice as well. Cassian on the other hand suspected, thankfully as you introduced him to your friend, Nesta, he became preoccupied and dropped the matter.
''So who do you think will win? And be honest, they're not here, you can't hurt their fragile egos.'' Nesta disturbed your train of thought. You laughed shaking your head. You loved hanging out with her because of how direct she was, always saying exactly what was on her mind. You met Nesta when your university did a charity ballet on the ice of Nutcracker. You got the role of Clara and she was your ballet counterpart. You did not expect to establish a friendship with her, but she was exactly who you needed in your life. You knew she would call you out on your bullshit anytime and you liked her for it. She also happened to be the first person you told about Azriel. She was not surprised, saying that you weren't being as secretive as you thought you had been.
''You know I am still biased since I really want our team to win. The Cavaliers are good and they play dirty. But Cass will probably try to kill Eris on the ice. Given the history and all.'' You gave her a pointed look. Shifting your gaze to the rink, you tried to find number 38.
''They’ve got no chance against VU.'' Said a guy next to you. You hated when someone butted their way into a conversation. But given the fact, that you would be spending about two hours in close proximity, you had decided for a polite smile. ''I guess so.''
''So how come you've got such good seats? Know someone on the team?'' He chimed in again.
''You could say that. My brother is the captain.'' You answered keeping your eyes on Azriel as he warmed up.
''Rhysand is your brother?''
''Unfortunately.'' You nodded, and his eyes grew in size. ''That's so lucky! I wish I was a hockey player or just knew them. You see, I got these seats because I'll be writing an article about the game.'' You smiled politely again shifting your gaze to the rink when the puck was just about to hit the ice.
As the game progressed, the crowd became electric. All the fans were shouting and your ears began ringing. Velaris Bats were in the lead, but only by one goal and everyone was nervous. To make the game even more enjoyable, there were games for the fans as well. Students competed against one another to win points for their university and win the competition of the tribunes.
The competitions were fun and good entertainment during breaks. But while the game continued the camera was turned on. You laughed at a random do a meme moment, but quickly turned your head back to the ice. You didn't want to miss a second of Azriel's game. Fully focused, you didn't realize that the camera switched to a kiss cam. A guy sitting next to you turned his head to face you and pointed to the TV earning your attention. ''I mean when in Rome, right?'' He laughed as he tried to close the distance. ''Yeah, no, thank you.'' You laughed nervously shifting in your seat.
''Oh come on, it's just a kiss.'' He pressured, and you gave a panicked look towards the ice. You heard Nesta taking a sharp inhale to give the guy a piece of her mind. You were interrupted by shouts of the fans and loud banging on the glass.
''Back the fuck off.'' You couldn't hear Az properly, but the message was quite clear, making the guy shift his gaze between the two of you uncomfortably. Az got two minutes for stalling the game which made the crowd boo and your brother yell obscenities as he often did when one of his teammates was sent to a bench. Thankfully during the power play the Cavaliers didn't get a goal in, but it was close. It only enraged Rhysand more which was abundantly clear when he almost broke his stick as the second period came to an end.
Azriel was sending daggers to the guy sitting next to you who looked like he wanted nothing more than to leave. He relaxed when the players left for their locker rooms. You just hoped Rhys didn't look much into Azriel's possessive behavior.
''What the fuck was that?'' Roared Rhys as he entered the locker room.
''I don't know what you're talking about.'' Azriel continued to take off his gear.
''Do not play with me! You could have cost us the game.''
''I was thinking I did you a favor. He had no right to touch her like that.'' He finally faced Rhysand.
''It was a fucking kiss cam.''
''She didn't want to be kissed. And he didn't back off.''
''So what? You made it your mission to help her while you were supposed to pay attention to the puck?'' Spit Rhys. Everyone in the locker room was silent watching the two stubborn players go head to head.
''Yes! And I would do it again.'' Azriel retorted.
''I could have you off the team for this.'' He hissed.
''Rhys-.'' Cassian signed. ''Be my guest.'' Azriel interrupted starring Rhysand down. He wouldn't back down. He couldn't. He knew you could have handled yourself back there. Hell, Nesta was there, too and she wouldn't let some guy do anything disrespectful. He just acted on an impulse. When he looked up and saw your panicked gaze, something shifted inside him. Rhys kept watching Azriel, staring right into his soul when suddenly his eyes grew larger as if recognizing what he should have seen from the very beginning.
''You've got to be kidding me.'' When Azriel didn't answer, Rhys continued, ''Tell me you don’t have a thing for my little sister.’’
''Azriel, I swear to everything that is holly, I will fucking punch you if you don't give me an answer.''
''We are together. Have been for almost a year.'' Azriel never saw anyone have an aneurysm. But if he could guess, Rhysand was a textbook example of how it looked like.
''I take it back, I will punch you anyway.'' And he might have if Cassian wasn't there to catch Rhys. ''Easy there killer. The game is still on. And you might not like it but Az is an asset.''
''I don't want to see you anywhere near her, understand? I know how you are with girls!'' Rhysand snarled.
''You know I can't do that.''
''Then you're off the team.''
''Fine.''
As they returned to the ice, the tension between Velaris Bats was palpable. Cassian was looking between his teammates probably trying to find a quick solution to the problem at hand. Azriel wasn't paying you any attention keeping his gaze on the ice only. You frowned slightly. When you looked at Rhys you found him staring back at you anger oozing out of his every move.
He knew.

Bad Day (Papa Emeritus IV x Gender-Neutral!Reader)
Requested by @ollies-station !!! <3
Tags: Fluff, Established Relationship, Hurt/Comfort, Reader Is Hinted Trans But It's Pretty Vague, Mentions Of Body Dysmorphia/Dysphoria, 2nd Person POV
Copia hovered over you, paints smudged and halfway wiped off. He stopped in the middle of washing his face when he noticed something wasn't right with you. You lay face down in the bed, unmoving, just so done with life.
"Eh... t-tesoro, what's wrong?" Copia asks warily, head tilted like a confused puppy, eyes darting around the room awkwardly. He was never very good at comforting people. But you were the love of his life, how could he not at least try to be of help? He just can't stand to see you like this.
"Everything." You reply hoarsely, muffled by the pillow you were crying into earlier. You were hardly exaggerating, everything seemed to be going wrong and sending you further down a spiral. Not to mention, you've not been very kind to yourself today either. When you first woke up, things immediately felt off. You felt off. Looking into the mirror, you instantly felt dread, like something wasn't quite right with you. Deep rooted insecurities bubbled up to the surface, your body not feeling like your own. You just want the day to be over already, but every passing moment feels like eternity.
"Bad day, huh?" Copia sighs, sitting down on the bed with you, mindful to give you a little bit of space if you needed it. You finally lift your head up, and the sight makes Copias heart ache. Red, puffy face, tear stains down your cheeks, hair tussled and greasy. You hadn't even gotten a chance to shower that morning, notably the first sign today wasn't going to be all that great. You probably looked like a hot mess right now, but to Copia, you were the most beautifully ethereal being he'd ever laid his eyes on, no matter what state you were in.
"Is there anything I can do?" Copia asks concernedly, softly stroking your back with a gloved hand. "Do you want to talk about it? It might make you feel better."
"Maybe... But there's still so much stuff I have to do today-"
"Non importante. Whatever needs to get done today, I will do it for you. You've had enough stress put on you today, now it's time for you to relax. Now, tell your Papa what is wrong, okie dokie?"
You couldn't help yourself, airing out all your grievances to him. You spared no details, every little thing that went wrong and every little worry you had was brought to his attention, and he listened intently to every word. That was the one thing he's always been very good at. Listening. And he was right, it did make you feel a little better, especially with how earnest you could tell he was.
When it was all said and done, he said nothing at first, simply holding you close to his chest, his warmth and sweet smell of cologne quickly lulling you into a sense of security and comfort. You knew you always had a safe space with him.
"Bad days come and go, amore. You must keep in mind that this won't last forever. The good days will come back sooner than you think. And yes, maybe they will fleet sooner than you want them to as well, but the important thing is that they will come again. Look outside, tesoro..." You did as you were told, gazing out the window to see the sun slowly setting over the horizon.
"The day is almost over, you see? And tomorrow is a new day. A better day. Why don't you sit here for a moment and focus on that while I run you a nice relaxing bath, hm? I'll quickly run whatever errands you have left today, and after that I'll order some takeout for the two of us, how's that sound? I'll get you whatever you want."
"And... And can we maybe watch something after? And cuddle?" You sniffle. A comfort show would be great right now. He smiles. "Of course! Anything for my baby." He presses a chaste kiss to your forehead, pulling away to get up and do the tasks he promised. You quickly grab the lapels of his jacket, keeping him from leaving you so soon.
"Copia... You know you don't have to do this, right? I'll be fine, really." You murmur, self conscious and worried that you're asking too much of this sweet, perfect man you've somehow managed to claim as yours. He chuckled.
"I know, amore; I want to. I want to make you happy, I want to make things easier for you. Because I love you. Because you deserve that. Capisci?" He says, a gentle firmness in his soft-spoken voice. Hesitantly, you nod. Still, you don't let go of his jacket just yet.
"Could you stay with me for just a little while longer?" You ask, hopeful and bleary eyed. He grins.
"As long as you need, tesoro."

Me again 😈 this is the last one (for now)
How about Howzer x reader with "sh, sh, I'm going to patch you up."?? I love Howzer so much and virtually no one writes for him </3
Playing Doctor
Summary: In an ideal world, being trapped in a cramped place with Howzer would be a dream come true. After all, you’ve been crushing on him for ages now. You just wish the situation was a little less sucky.
Pairing: Captain Howzer x GN!Reader
Word Count: 1200
Warnings: Reader is injured, pining, Howzer is jealous but pretends that he isn't
A/N: Sorry that this took so long! I couldn't get Howzer to agree with me. Until I put on a Disney playlist on Spotify and the words just started flowing. (Also, I have been in a not-great mental place since the 6th, but I think I'm better-ish now). I hope you like it!

You’ve known Howzer for years now.
You first met him at the beginning of the Clone Wars, all of those years ago. And, looking back now, you can admit that your first impression of him wasn’t the greatest.
He was arrogant. Cocky, even. And in his opinion, you were a meddling busybody who needed to spend a day or two sitting in a jail cell.
You weren’t, and aren’t, a soldier. You were the former base commander’s receptionist, and when he left for greener pastures, you were left behind with a handful of soldiers and support staff who weren’t important enough to anyone to manage to pull a reassignment.
In truth, you kept the base running through duct tape and a prayer. And then Howzer came along and took it from you.
It wasn’t until he realized that none of the NatBorn soldiers, or support staff, would listen to him, that they all deferred to you, that Howzer realized that he stepped on a few toes.
And he didn’t apologize until your Squad of Misfits pulled him and his men out of an ambush that should have killed them, but only left him badly injured and with a scar on his face.
The rest, as they say, is history.
By the time the Jedi Purge happened, you and Howzer were friends. Friends enough that, when he called you to ask for help, you dropped everything and hurried to his side.
That had been a year ago, and while you won’t ever say that you regret it, you do wish that you had been more clever about your career prospects.
Or, at least, more clever.
Surely, if you had gone to medical school like your mother wanted you wouldn’t be in this situation.
Right?
You release a pained whimper as Howzer presses his hands, firmly, over the wound in your side. You try to pull away from his painful touch, but the way he has you positioned against the wall of the cave you’re taking shelter in means that you can’t move.
“Howzer—”
“I know it hurts, ad’ika.” His voice is low, and you don’t think you’ve ever seen such a grim look on his face before. Well, not directed towards you, at least, “but I need to stop the bleeding.”
Hesitantly, because he’s been funny about you touching him lately, you wrap your hands around his wrists, “‘m sorry. I messed up.”
“It’s not your fault. Who knew that the Stormtroopers had people who could use fucking javelins. Where are we, the Middle Ages?” He sounds stressed and angry.
“Many Indigenous people use weapons like that,” You reply, “Like the Ewoks and the Tusken Raiders of Tatooine.”
Howzer releases a huffed laugh, “Why do you know that?”
“I saw a documentary about it before,” You admit.
“Yeah? When was this?” He applies more pressure and you whimper as the sudden pain knocks the air out of your lungs, and you see a muscle work in his jaw.
“When I was a kid,” You manage to say, “There used to be a show. Tula the Tooka. Tula would teach kids about different races and show how we’re all the same.”
“Fighting bigotry one little kid at a time?”
“Something like that.” You wince, “She also covered some basic language skills, like how to say hello, or I’m lost, in whatever language.”
“Sounds educational,” Howzer shifts his hand and glances at your side, and then he takes your hand and presses it over the wound, “Apply pressure while I pull out my kit.”
“You could always just leave me here,” You offer.
“Don’t be fucking stupid, I’m not leaving you behind.” Howzer replies as he starts digging through the bag he’s been carrying, “You can’t actually think that I would do that.”
“I don’t.” You admit, “Make your life easier if you were less loyal, though.” You pause, “Idiot.” The word is affectionate, and the corner of Howzer’s lips curl up into a small smile.
“Wonder what having an easy life would be like,” He jokes, before he turns back to you, “Alright, move your hand.” You do as he asks, though you don’t realize why he’s saying that until the sharp scent of alcohol reaches your nose.
You yelp and jerk back when an alcohol-soaked cloth presses against your side. Though, you don’t get far.
“Shh, shh,” he effortlessly tugs you closer, so he can keep the cloth pressed against your side, “I’m going to patch you up.”
“You couldn’t have given me some warning?” You choke out.
“Sorry, ad’ika. But you’re kind of a baby when it comes to pain.”
You stare up at him through tear-filled eyes, “And you thought this would help? You’re a jerk. Rex would never—” You yelp again when his touch gets rough enough that it hurts.
The painful pressure vanishes almost immediately, “Sorry, I’m sorry! I forget that you’re so much more fragile than me.” Howzer blurts as he uses the sleeve of his jacket to wipe a tear from your cheek, “Please don’t cry.”
“I-it’s okay, you didn’t mean it.”
Howzer sighs, “It’s not okay, but thank you.” He pulls some bandages from his bag, “I bet Rex would never forget that.” There’s something odd in his voice, and you realize, with a start, that he’s jealous.
“Howzer?”
“Hm?”
“Are you jealous of Rex?”
He fumbles with the wrapper of the bandage, and his dark eyes flicker up to meet your gaze, before dropping back to your side, “Course not.”
You stare at the top of his head for a moment, and then you sigh and reach up to run your fingers through his hair, “You know you’re my favorite, right?”
“Are you allowed to have favorites?” Howzer asks as he applies the bandage and tapes it to your skin.
“I think you’ll find that I don’t care about what’s allowed,” You counter, “You’re my favorite, and I’m glad that I ended up stranded here with you over anyone else.”
He finally meets your gaze, “You hate being stranded anywhere.” Howzer corrects with a wry smile.
“See, no one else knows me like you do.”
“Well, I have known you for years now,”
Your hand falls from his hair to rest against his cheek, just over his scar. There are so many things you want to tell him. So many thoughts you want to share.
Things that he deserves to know.
But the words seem to stick in your throat.
After all, there’s no way he feels the same way for you as you do for him.
So, instead, you offer a tiny smile, “I’m guessing you have a plan.”
Howzer turns his head and presses a light kiss to the palm of your hand, “Always do.” He pulls away from you, “Are you okay waiting here for me?”
“Just don’t forget about me.”
“Never.” He stands and peels off his jacket, “Here, use this as a pillow and get some rest. I’ll be back when I’m done.”
You take his jacket and fold it so you can lay down, “Be careful,” Howzer tosses you a wink, and then he’s gone.
And, now alone, you release a quiet sigh. “I love you, Howzer.”

Love talk - Song Mingi
prev | M. list | next chapter | [WITH MY BIAS?]
words: 2.3K
notes: warnings, mature language, Mingi going through it, HONGJOONG is going throigh it bro somebody save him
“I'm still not seeing him, what if he's really not here, what if I lost my one chance to be with the love of my life because I was stupid and clumsy and spilled water over a fucking card when I should've put the number in my phone the moment I saw the card. Or what if he is here and he doesn't recognize me because my hair is different what if-” Mingi's panic is stopped by Yunho, “Calm down” it's simple and had it been anybody else those words would not serve to soothe him, but Yunho's been his rock for longer than he could remember and they offer at least a bit of comfort.
Sitting in a Vip box right in front of the stage, Mingi and the rest of his members try and look around for the person Mingi described, it's a break in the concert and the first half had been great, the lead guitarist Hongjoong loves was back and had even angled his guitar in their direction a couple of times, whatever that meant. He was dressed differently from the other members of his band, his whole body covered, almost in a cultish cloak which matches with the vibe of the first few songs, but Mingi couldn't bring himself to focus on that too much.
He was constantly looking back, trying to spot the mess of pink hair between the see of bright pinks and blacks behind him, it was fruitless, he knew the area was too big for him to see [Name] by himself, and his friends had agreed to help during the breaks but they had been invested in the concert whenever the music riff would start. Something about the lead singer's voice seemed almost familiar, calling out to him but he pushed it back, ignored it in favor of looking through the crowds, it may seem disrespectful but he'd apologize after the show, they would understand right?
“I can't just calm down Yunho, I know you guys think it's silly and that I only knew him for a week but it was- It was just so real. It was like he knew me, like I knew him. He held me like I was the one thing he'd been searching for and it couldn't have been just my own mind Yunho, and I hate it. I hate it because the thought of not seeing him again didn't even cross my mind. I've started to forget his voice, do you know how much that breaks me?“ Mingi is almost crying, not caring that if anyone were to look into the box they'd see him.
“Listen, I know we all thought it was silly at first, but we know how much this means to you, I know how much this means to you. We'll find him alright? even if it's not right now, we'll find him, you don't have to worry. Just, just try and enjoy the rest of the concert, try and relax, if you're relaxed your memory might become more clear. Just for a few songs, if you still aren't feeling better you and I can walk out and get some fresh air okay? you said you met him outside last time, we'll look for him then” Yunho hand on Mingi's shoulder grounds him as he tries to blink away the tears, grateful for the dimming of studio lights as the concert will supposedly begin again.
He can hear the band walk back up the stage, the voice of the lead singer humming and a few giggles of the others ringing through the stadium. He can't see them, the lights are far too dark for that. “We've teased you a lot recently haven't we my petals?” The voice of the lead singer speaks for the first time that night, Mingi tilts his head in confusion at the feeling stirring in his chest, but it's blocked out by the screams of ‘yes’ from the crowd, the loudest being Hongjoong beside him.
“hmm, I'm pretty sure they've figured it out, our petals are smart” a female voice speaks from the stage, “yeah!” two other voices agree. “Very true, Soyeon” the crowd goes wild as a name is said, making Mingi remember that until now, it seems, everyone in this band has stayed anonymous. “Well, petals, I'm afraid I can no longer call only you mine.. you see, you've supported us through a lot, helped us in our search for our pink flower” he speaks again, Mingi faintly recalls Hongjoong giving everyone a run down on the bands lore, how the pink carnation is supposed to symbolize the happiest part of their life, their heaven.
“Even gave some of us ours” another voice says, “shut up Beomgyu” a female voice , different from the one identified as Soyeon speaks, the crowd loses it again as another member's name is revealed. “You're just jealous Petals love me more, Ryunjin” Beomgyu spits back, and this time Mingi is prepared for the eruption of screams that don't seem to end. “You two fight like an old married couple” the drummers, Mingi thinks, voice speaks. “SHUT UP CHANGBIN” the two shout in unison. The crowd is lively, all screaming newly learned names of the ones they love, next to Mingi Hongjoong is losing his mind as he buzzes in his seat waiting for his bias, the last name to be revealed.
“If I could continue my earlier sentence” the unnamed male speaks as the two youngest let out tiny huff’s of sorry’s, the crowd going dead silent as his unsaid way of asking for silence reaches them. “Tonight, as you could tell, we are sharing ourselves with you fully, and to do that, I wrote a song, it's quite different from what we usually give you, and for that I'm sorry. But as our story has gone on, and we've seen glimpses of all the incarnations pink flower” he takes a deep breath, “I believe I've found mine.. he's in the crowd tonight, so I hope he knows this songs for him” the last words are a bit shaky, and Mingi silently applauds the man for being brave enough to share this part of himself with his fans.
“Alright guys, don't go easy on him, you gotta tell him if you don't like his simpy song right?” Soyeon asks and the crowd gives a corus of agreement. “Here it is, Love talk, written by [Name] [Last name]” she screams, the crowd screaming with her as the lights turn on and the music starts. The air is sucked out of Mingi's chest, the name hitting him hard, the face he's met with afop the stage, staring down at him the moment the lights turned on, now dressed in much more revealing clothing, body littered with the tattoos Mingi recalls in his dreams? they hit him even harder.
It's not him who starts the song, but he's mouthing something to Mingi before he starts his own part, Mingi can't tell what it is he's saying. He can feel the eyes of his members on him, boring into him as they recognize the name and description, all probably equally as shocked as he is, but he can't tear his eyes away from the man atop the stage. The words he had said previously floating around in his head, the song was written for him, for Mingi.
Falling for a stranger (Yeah), good gracious (Yeah)
I might even fly out to Vegas (Catch a flight)
I'm thinking maybe you'd be down to do it (Yeah)
But you don't know what I'm saying (Saying)
[Name] moves his left hand that's not holding the mic, pointing his wrist in the direction of the crowd as the camera zooms in on what he's showing, a little pink flower, tattooed in the middle of his wrist, it's vine creeping up the palm of his hand and wrapping around his middle finger. He smiles at Mingi hopefully, and Mingi only smiles in turn.
“with MY bias, you fucking slept with MY bias I can't have ONE thing in this group YEARS I spent thirsting for this man and you got to him first!” Hong Jong wails, as he's being comforted by Seonghwa, the members being in a room backstage, they were brought here by the security guards after the concert had ended, being told “The incarnations want to see you.” and no further explanation.
Mingi's stomach is rumbling with nerves, now that he's not looking at [Name], that [Name] isn't looking at him he wonders if the other is mad, he paces back and forth in the room, blocking out Hongjoongs wails and Jongho and Yeosangs giggles. He knows the thought is irrational, the man had just done an identity reveal just so Mingi would recognize him, but there's still a nagging voice at the back of his brain.
“Still can't believe you slept with him, - like I can't believe he's [Name], like damn dude I get why you loved his fingers now.“ Yunho speaks from where he sits and eats some candy, his face between impressed and uninterested. Mingi wants to smother him. “Never really given my fingers much thought, I'm glad flower liked them” a deep voice speaks from the doorway, the now open doorway, the doorway that [Name] and the rest of his band are standing in.
The voices in the back of Mingi's head disappear and his body acts on instinct as he moves to [Name], the taller meeting him midway and their lips entwining in a passionate kiss. Mingi's hands steady themselves on [Name’s] shoulders, fearing his legs might give out beneath him if he doesn't, the guitarist has one hand, his left hand, on Mingi's cheek, the other gripping his hip like a lifeline.
When they break away, eyes locking and laughter bubbling from their throats, Mingi hears a whine behind them. “Goddamnt, now I owe Ryujin 20 bucks. You couldn't have waited 5 minutes?” Beomgyu grumbles as he plops himself on the first open chair he sees. “I'll give you forty if you stop placing bets on me” [Name] says as he spins Mingi around so they're both facing the rest of the people in the room. Mingi's back pressed against his chest so tight he can feel the other's beating heart, his waist encircled by [Name’s] arms as he rested his chin on Mingi's shoulder.
“Deal!” Beomgyu chirps from where he sits, “I swear you're all idiots, introduce yourselves” Soyeon gives her bandmates a pointed look and they all make ‘O’ faces in realization that they have yet to do that. “There's no need, Hongjoong-Hyung raves about-” San’s words are stopped shen Hongjoongs hand loudly slaps his mouth shut, looking at the band in a panic. “what he means to say is we heard on the stage, right?“ Hongjoong directs the last word threateningly at San, who nods his head fearfully with watery eyes. Hongjoong releases his hand from San’s mouth, the younger immediately backing away from Hongjoong and pouting as he looks at Wooyoung who is clearly much more interested in what's going on than San’s pain.
“ah, same here, [Name] won't shut up about you guys he's been a fan since like debut” Ryujins words are met with a loud cackle from Beomgyu about the fact that his friend just got outed, and a grumble from [Name who simply hides his face in Mingi's shoulder as the idol gives him a curious look.
“So I guess we're like… members in law” Changbin tries to joke, earning a loud laugh from Wooyoung, the sound immediately making him brighten up. “I'm gonna take Flower so me and him can talk someplace private” [Name] speaks before directing his attention to Ateez, “really it is nice meeting you all and it would be an honor to talk more, but flower is more important to me” he tells them as he drags Mingi out of the room, pausing for a moment to look back at Hongjoong, “for what it's worth Captain, you were my bias wrecker” he says with a cheeky grin before closing the door, Hongjoong sitting still for a moment before letting out a strangled cry that's muffled by the door.
“flower?“ is the first thing Mingi asks when he and [Name] enter a room alone. [Name] only nods, “mhm, do you not like it?” he looks at Mingi with a hint of nervousness Mingi hasn't seen on him before, it was kind of endearing. “NO! no no I mean Uhm I like it but it's just… I don't know, didn't think you would have remembered me, especially named me after something so important” Mingi mumbles.
“I know it may seem like a shocker but I do actually like you, I mean I didn't exactly learn korean for nothing” [Name] huffs out a puff of laughter, but his words hit Mingi, he learnt a language for Mingi. “I- I never called you” is all Mingi could reply with, [Name] only nods in response, “yeah.. “ he bites the inside of his cheek.
“It's not that I didn't want to- god I wanted to, it's just- I lost your number- well not lost more so as spill water-” Mingi starts to panic but is cut off by the feeling of [Name’s] lips connecting to his own once again. He's silenced, feeling the tallers hand rest on his neck to hold him in place. The kiss is broken as their foreheads are rested against one another. “My Flower, I could honestly care less” [Name] breathes out, “Whatever happened, you still decided to show up, and you have yet to reject me, so I could honestly care less on why you didn't contact me” He removes his head from Mingi's as he looks down at him. “I don't want to think about the year I spent without you when you're in my arms now” he says, and Mingi responds by kissing him again, a smile on his own lips.

love story- jh86
summery- love story by taylor swift, jack hughes version
dani's thoughts - yay another fic out!!!
warnings- nothing just pure fluff
We were both young when I first saw you
It was the first day of high school and Jack Hughes couldn't believe his eyes when he saw you. You were the most beautiful girl he had ever laid his eyes on. You had a dazzling smile that could light up the entire room. Jack felt his heart skip a beat as he watched you from across the hallway. As he walked past you, your guy's eyes met for a brief moment and Jack felt a strange connection to you.
After that, Jack found himself making excuses to walk past your locker in hopes of catching another glimpse of you. Eventually, fate stepped in and you and Jack were paired up for a group project in English class. As the two of you worked on the project together, Jack found himself growing closer to you.
“Maybe we can do this instead?” You asked Jack, wondering how to fix the mistake the two of you made. Instead of being worried about the project, Jack was too busy looking at you, the way your hair frames your face, how your face lightly scrunched up as you thought. “Jack?” you questioned, waving your hand in front of his face.
“Oh- urhm, yeah that's good!” Jack stuttered out, his face turning a beautiful shade of red.
“Ohh kay” you responded, going back to writing.
You were Romeo, you were throwin’ pebbles and my daddy said “Stay away from Juliet”
The sound of a hockey puck hitting the boards echoed through the empty rink as you watched from the bleachers. It was a late practice, and most of the team had already left. But your boyfriend, Jack wasn’t quite done yet. He was the last to skate, always pushing himself a little longer than the rest, always a bit more determined to be the best.
You sat with your knees pulled up to your chest, absentmindedly scrolling through your phone, though your eyes kept flicking up to watch Jack. The way he moved on the ice, the confidence in every stride, every shot.
“Stay away from him, (Y/N). He’s trouble.”
You’d heard those words so many times that they had started to feel like a broken record in your head. But despite your father’s warnings, you couldn’t help the way your heart raced whenever you saw Jack, or how he made you feel when he smiled at you. Finally, as he finished up his last lap around the rink, he skated over to the bench where you were sitting. He pulled off his helmet, his damp hair sticking to his forehead, and threw a towel over his shoulder.
“Hey, what are you doing here so late?” he asked, his voice warm, though there was an edge to it.
You shrugged, trying to act casual.
“Just needed some air. You know, thinking about… stuff.”
Jack raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying it. He leaned against the bench, crossing his arms, looking at you with that trademark smirk of his.
“Stuff, huh? You’re not gonna tell me what kind of ‘stuff’ you’re thinking about?”
You bit your lip. You knew he was trying to get a rise out of you. Jack had a way of doing that—making you feel like you were the only one in the room, even if there were a hundred people around.
You hesitated.
“I was thinking about… us.”
He stopped mid-smirk, his gaze softening.
“Us?”
You nodded, your heart thudding in your chest.
“Yeah. My dad. He doesn’t want me to be around you. He thinks you're bad news.”
“I mean I’m not a saint” Jack let out a laugh, but there was no humor to it.
“I just want you to know, even if my dad doesn’t like you, I do, and thats what matters. My dad doesn’t see you when you get me flowers, or when you do little things for me. He only sees how you act on the ice as how you act in public. I see every part of you, and I love you.” you explain, looking up at him, both of you having tears in your eyes.
“Cmon lets get out of here before I cry on the ice” Jack said softly
Later, as you and Jack wandered through the streets under the cover of darkness, the world felt like it belonged to just the two of you. You forgot about everything else, about your dad’s warnings. All that mattered was the feeling of Jack’s hand in yours, the sound of his laughter in the air, and the way he made you feel like nothing could go wrong.
So close your eyes Escape this town for a little while, oh oh
The evening air was warm but fading, the last remnants of daylight slipping away like the final notes of a song you didn’t want to end. You leaned against the hood of your car, watching the orange glow of the setting sun bleed into the horizon. It had been a long day. A long month, really. The constant pressure, the expectations, the routine—it all felt so heavy sometimes. You needed a break, needed to get away, even if it was just for a little while.
That’s when you saw the headlights coming down the road.
You smiled to yourself. Of course, it was Jack. He always knew when you needed a little escape.
The engine of his truck rumbled softly as he pulled up beside you. The moment the car stopped, he was already getting out, his familiar grin lighting up his face. You couldn't help but smile back, even though the weight of everything still tugged at you.
"Hey," he said, walking over to you with that relaxed, confident stride. "You ready to go?"
"Go?" you asked, raising an eyebrow. "Go where?"
Jack's grin only widened.
"I don’t know. Somewhere better than here. Somewhere we can just... forget about everything. You in?"
You hesitated for only a moment. You knew what he was asking. You could already feel the excitement buzzing beneath your skin. Jack had this way of making things seem like they were going to be exactly what you needed, even when you didn’t know what you needed yourself.
"Yeah," you said, pushing yourself off the hood of the car. "Let’s go."
The two of you didn’t have a set destination. You never really did when it came to Jack. He wasn’t about planning, and somehow, that made everything feel a little more thrilling. He pulled out of your quiet suburban neighborhood, the low hum of the tires on the road accompanying the soft music playing from the radio.
"Think we’ll be back by sunrise?" you asked, your voice light with amusement, but also that quiet, giddy thrill that came with running away from everything.
Jack shrugged, his eyes glinting with mischief.
"Who says we have to go back at all?"
You laughed softly, but the idea lingered in the back of your mind. Maybe Jack didn’t feel the pressure the way you did. Maybe he didn’t have the same worries about responsibilities and future decisions hanging over his head. You envied that about him sometimes. But there was also something freeing about being with him, about leaving it all behind, even if just for a few hours.
The town faded away, the bright lights replaced by the soft glow of moonlight as you drove down empty back roads, the windows rolled down, the air cooling your skin.
"So, what’s the plan?" you asked, turning your head toward him as he navigated the winding road. "What are we running away from this time?"
Jack gave you a sideways glance, his fingers drumming lightly on the steering wheel. "Not running away," he said softly. "Just... escaping. For a little while."
You were quiet for a moment, letting his words settle in. There was something about the way he said it—so simply, so effortlessly—that made everything feel like it would be okay. Like the world outside this little bubble of time you were creating didn’t matter.
"So close your eyes," Jack added, almost like he was reading your mind. "We’ll escape this town for a little while. No one can stop us."
You didn’t hesitate. You closed your eyes, just for a second, and let the rhythm of the truck’s engine, the cool breeze, and Jack’s presence wash over you. It wasn’t about where you were going—it was about being with him, leaving the small things behind, even if just for the moment.
Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone
The night was still young, but it was already the kind of evening where the world seemed to quiet down. The sound of cicadas hummed lazily in the background, and the cool, crisp air of late summer hung around like a promise of change. You were sitting on the porch of your apartment, your feet tucked up underneath you as you leaned against the railing, watching the stars blink lazily in the dark sky above.
It had been one of those week, busy, hectic, filled with things that you had to do rather than the things you wanted to do. Work, friends, family, social obligations. Sometimes it felt like there wasn’t a moment for yourself, let alone a moment with Jack.
But tonight was different.
You glanced at your phone, checking the time for what felt like the hundredth time. Jack had texted you earlier, promising he’d be over soon. And now, as the minutes stretched on, your anticipation only grew.
Just as you were about to head inside, your phone buzzed with a new message.
Jack: "I’m here, just pulled up."
You smiled to yourself, already feeling that familiar excitement bubble up inside you. Jack was the kind of guy who always knew how to make things feel effortless. Even when life got chaotic, when schedules collided and time seemed to slip through your fingers, he always found a way to make sure you had your moments.
You grabbed your jacket from the chair beside you, stepping off the porch just as Jack’s truck rolled up to the curb. He parked, cut the engine, and hopped out with that same easy confidence that never failed to make your heart race.
“Hey,” you said softly as he approached, feeling the soft night breeze tug at your hair. Jack was wearing a hoodie and jeans, looking effortlessly casual yet impossibly cute.
“Hey,” Jack grinned, his eyes lighting up when he saw you. He immediately stepped forward, pulling you into a hug that felt like a quiet reassurance. His arms wrapped around you as if to say, I’m here, and everything else can wait. You breathed him in, his scent, the warmth of his skin, the feeling of home.
After a beat, he pulled away slightly, cupping your face in his hands.
“I missed you,” he murmured, his voice low and tender, as if the rush of the world had quieted just for the two of you.
“I missed you too,” you whispered back, your fingers tracing the outline of his jaw, the connection between you both undeniable.
Jack’s gaze softened as he looked down at you, his lips curling into a smile.
“I was thinking,” he started, a mischievous glint dancing in his eyes. “What if we got away? Just the two of us. Somewhere we can be alone.”
You blinked, your heart skipping a beat. You didn’t need him to say much else; you knew exactly what he meant. He was always so thoughtful, so aware of the small moments where you both could just step outside the chaos and into something that was just about the two of you.
You grinned, stepping back slightly to look him in the eyes. “
Somewhere we can be alone?” you repeated, a playful edge in your voice. “You really think you can get me to leave the city and have an adventure with you?”
Jack chuckled, his fingers brushing against yours.
“You know I can,” he teased, his voice light. “All you have to do is say yes.”
You didn’t need much more convincing.
“Alright, Romeo. Take me somewhere we can be alone.”
Jack’s smile widened, and without another word, he took your hand, leading you toward his truck. You could feel the weight of the world lifting as he opened the door for you, his hands gentle, as if everything in this moment was somehow sacred.
The ride was easy, the kind of drive that made you feel like the world was behind you and everything ahead was a little more exciting. The radio played quietly in the background, a mix of old songs and new tunes, the soft glow of the streetlights fading as Jack drove you both toward the outskirts of town.
You didn’t ask where you were going. It didn’t matter. With Jack, there was something freeing about letting go of control, about letting him lead you to a place where you could forget everything else.
You’ll never have to be alone, I love you and that's all I really know
It was one of those rare, quiet afternoons where time seemed to stretch, where the usual noise of the world quieted down, and all you could hear was the steady rhythm of your own heartbeat. You were curled up on the couch in Jack’s apartment, a soft blanket draped over your legs, while the faint sounds of an old playlist you both loved filled the room.
Jack was sitting beside you, his arm around your shoulders, a half-empty coffee cup in his hand. He hadn’t said much, but the comfort of his presence was enough. Sometimes, there was no need for words.
The week had been hectic, meetings, practices, and everything in between. Jack had a big game coming up, and you could see the exhaustion written on his face. But in these quiet moments, when the world outside was on pause, everything felt like it could wait. All that mattered was now.
You shifted slightly, your head finding its way to his chest, the steady beat of his heart lulling you into a peaceful calm. His hand rested gently on your waist, fingers absentmindedly tracing patterns on your skin.
"You know," Jack murmured after a while, his voice soft and warm, "sometimes I forget how much I love these quiet moments. Just us."
You smiled against his shirt, the weight of the words making your heart swell. You had always loved how easy it was to be with him, how, even in the rush of his busy life, he always found time for you.
"You say that now," you teased, glancing up at him with a playful smirk, "but wait until the next practice or game. You'll be back to your crazy, high-energy self."
Jack laughed, the sound of it filling your chest with warmth.
"I guess you're right." He paused, then added, his tone shifting into something more sincere, "But even when everything’s moving fast, you're the one thing I know I can count on. I love you. And that's all I really know."
Your breath caught in your throat, his words landing like a soft touch against your soul. You lifted your head slightly to look at him, his brown eyes meeting yours with an intensity that made your heart race.
"You never have to be alone, you know that, right?" he added, his voice gentle but unwavering. "Not as long as I’m here."
There was something in the way he said it—like he meant every word, like he was offering you a promise. And in that moment, you knew with certainty that no matter what happened, no matter where life took you both, Jack would always be there.
You reached up to cup his face in your hands, studying the curve of his jaw, the warmth of his skin, the way his lips turned up ever so slightly when he looked at you.
"I know," you whispered, your voice thick with emotion. "I feel it every day. I love you, Jack."
He smiled, a soft, genuine smile that made your heart flutter in your chest. "I’m never going anywhere," he murmured, pulling you closer until his forehead was resting against yours.
"You’ll never have to be alone."
The world outside continued to move, people rushing through their busy lives, their own challenges and struggles. But here, in this little bubble of calm, time seemed to stop. It was just the two of you, and that was enough.
"You’re my person, (Y/N)," Jack said, his words so quiet, so intimate. "And I’m yours."
You nodded, a slow smile forming as you wrapped your arms around him, letting yourself melt into the comfort of his embrace.
"I know," you repeated softly, the words sinking deep into your heart. "And that’s all I really need."
For a long while, neither of you said anything more. You didn’t need to. The quiet moments, the stillness between you, were enough to convey everything that words couldn’t. And in the stillness of those moments, you knew that you were home.
As Jack gently kissed the top of your head, you realized that love didn’t have to be complicated. It didn’t have to be grand gestures or sweeping declarations. Sometimes, love was found in the quiet, in the little things, in the promise that no matter what, you’d always have each other.
And with Jack, you knew you would never have to be alone.

Jealousy Hidden Behind Masksִ ࣪𖤐.ᐟ
hiya🙂↕️🙂↕️ this is my first tumblr post— this is also posted on ao3. howeveerrr I am aware Ghost and König are not in the same team ive been playing this game since I was younger, so think of it as an au or something idrk
────────୨ৎ────────
Last week you and your team were sent on a mission in Mexico trying to find some cartel in Guadalajara. However one of the new sergeants put herself in mind boggling danger. She stood tall at an open fire, trying to take the bullets for everyone else so they could have a chance to
live.
Everyone was screaming at her to get down, to save herself. But she didn’t want to listen, if she was gonna go down…She would be remembered for how she did it
For the few right reasons,
and for all the wrong.
You not wanting this bright eyed sergeant to lose her life from one dumb heroic decision, you took it upon yourself to tackle her to the ground. However in the midst of tackling her you got shot in the abdomen an exceptional amount of times. Due to you and the sergeant being severely injured the team couldn't move forward without abandoning you both, and to Ghost, that wasn't an option.
❤️🔥
“Are you stupid [name]?” his fists landed on his desk, causing the glass of water atop it to shake slightly. His voice may have been calm with a sharp edge to it, but he couldn't stop his actions. You were trying your absolute hardest to choke down your tears, you couldn't cry in front of your Lieutenant like a scared little girl who just lost her parents in the store.
“Huh? Are you?” he quipped. His icy blue gaze narrows on your small frame sitting on the chair in front of his desk.
“Ghost-” my voice shook as I tried to keep myself together, slowly meeting his piercing gaze.
“Don’t ‘Ghost’ me.” he hissed, cutting your trembling voice off. But somehow, Ghost cutting you off only fueled the fire that was slowly building inside of you. You looked down at your balled hands sitting in your lap, slightly picking at your nails to try and calm yourself down.
Even if you could see his face, you already could imagine what it looked like. His blonde eyebrows furrowing in frustration, his lips pressed thin in a firm line of anger. You could understand his anger to a degree, but was this really necessary? You’re sitting here living after all, injured but alive.
He took in a heavy sigh of anger, “You deliberately went against orders, and almost got yourself killed.” he growled, there he was again. Referencing the stupid wounds that litter your abdomen due to your stupid, heroic decision. His lips drawn back in a snarl as he looked at your body, studying your body language to try and guess your next move.
“Ghost, why do you even care so much?!” you finally snapped at him, which in turn caught him by surprise with your sudden outburst. Your eyes burning with frustration that had finally boiled over. Slightly shifting in your seat while never breaking eye contact, wincing at shooting pain coming from your ribs, the pain you’ve been so desperately trying to ignore. The exact pain he was referencing throughout this entire argument.
He paused for a second, debating his words. “Because I care about you.” he said flatly, the anger in his voice was slightly gone but it was still there lingering. “Don’t you get it? Do you need me to spell it out for you to even reach your thick skull?” he sneered. There's the anger that was lingering in his tone. His eyes never left yours, it was becoming a battle to see who would break eye contact first, and it wasn't going to be you.
His hands were pressed firm on the desk, standing over you like some kind of hierarchy. You sat there, your eyes staring into his while you sat there like some child getting scolded by a teacher.
“I don’t need to get it.” you muttered under your breath, annoyance clear in your tone. “I never asked for you to care,” you paused, inhaling a sharp breath while standing up to push in your chair. “Nor anyone else, so don't make it my problem.” you hissed through your teeth as you reached his office door, whipping around to open it. Maybe you were the one to break eye contact, but at this point you couldn’t take it anymore.
God if you wanted a lecture you could have gone to Price.
Ghost just stood there, a blank expression on his face that was carefully covered by his balaclava, though his eyes read a thousand words. You opened the door and slammed it shut, walking away from his office briskly, you reflected on your choice of words. They were harsh, no sugar coating that, but they were true. Right?
But this time he didn't try to call you back, demanding you come back to speak to him. He just stood there in his office, contemplating everything.
You walked back to the barracks quietly, not bothering to say hello to anyone you passed. You walked for what felt like forever, being trapped in your own thoughts made it worse.
Once you finally reached your room you opened your door quickly and slammed it shut. All your prior frustrations came back as soon as you stepped in the room. Your eyes pricked with tears as you stood there silently, a lump in your throat formed and it was impossible to choke down. You kicked off your boots and made your way to your bed, as you flopped down on the soft mattress you couldn't hold back your tears.
The tears fell smoothly down your flushed cheeks, your body curling up in a ball as you drowned yourself in blankets. Your quiet sobs filled the room, and it didn't even matter that you still had your uniform on, you didn't care anymore. Your abdomen was throbbing, the pain making your tears fall harder than they were before. His words flooded your thoughts, ‘Because I care about you.’ kept replaying over and over again.
Why did he have to care? That made this so much more worse than it had to be.
The sobs eventually got quieter and quieter, god. Why did I have to be such a crybaby? So- sensitive. His words felt like thousands of sharp knives cutting through you. It was awful, it hurt so much. Your eyes began to flutter slightly as you continued to cry, all you could do was cry and ponder on your decisions.
❤️🔥 pov change.
My eyes slowly blinked open as I woke up to a pounding headache. Damn it. I glanced at the clock as I sat up. It read 17:38, I sighed and closed my eyes leaning my back on my headboard. I rubbed my puffy eyes and crawled out of bed, throwing my blankets off of me. I stumbled to my feet, grabbing my night stand to balance myself.
Finally steadying myself I walked into my bathroom just to look at what I looked like. Oh my god…my tear streaked face was a sight to see you could say. I turned the light on before turning the sink to cold and started to splash my face with freezing water, hoping it would clear my post-cry face.
Turning off my sink and grabbing a towel I turned to pat my face dry, good enough.
I looked at my puffy eyes in the mirror with a huff before walking out of my bathroom and turning off the light. I walked slowly towards my door, slipping on my boots and walking out of my room.
Roaming the halls it was quiet, nothing was really happening. It wasn’t a busy day today, the halls holding an uncomfortable silence as I walked through them.
The sounds of my boots lightly treading across cold tile floor filled my ears.
Continuing to walk towards the mess hall I saw Ghosts office to my right, the office that hours earlier I stormed out of. I shook my head with a sigh and continued to walk towards the mess hall. Though the halls were oddly quiet, it was unsettling to say the least.
Reaching the mess hall I realized it wasn't as crowded as it usually was. I didn’t have an appetite so I decided to just sit down at one of the empty tables and lay my head down, just listening to the talking and bickering of the place was comforting.
That's when I heard a familiar voice behind me, his presence was strong but his accent was even stronger.
“Schatz?” the man asked, his Austrian accent strong.
“König?” I asked and glanced up to see the tall Austrian man standing behind me, looming over me like a giant building.
He sat next to me, he clearly saw the somber expression written all over my face. He sat close, but not that close. The chatter in the mess hall was a comforting ambiance to this situation.
He gently lifted a finger to my trembling chin with his rough index finger, forcing me to stare into his pale blue eyes.
“Ist etwas passiert?” he asked softly, his tone quiet but still audible from the noise around us. (Did something happen?)
“No…” I whispered lower than he could hear, my voice slightly shaking as I tried to keep myself together.
I quickly hung my head low, breaking eye contact with him. My bottom lip was trembling as I tried to choke back my own tears, I didn't want to worry him, especially with all the stuff he's dealing with on his own.
“Oh, komm her.” he coaxed, pulling me into a bear hug. Trapping me in his warm embrace, playing with my hair in an attempt to calm me down. (Oh, come here.)
I lost it, I started bawling into his chest. Clinging onto his shirt in a desperate attempt to make sure he wouldn't leave me.
“Ghost and I had a fight-” I managed to choke out.
Ghost, the name alone made Konig tense up. I felt him squeeze me tighter in his arms when I said his name.
The name rang in his ears, his head racing with thoughts of him and you together as he gently stroked your hair.
Why can't you just realize that I can be so much better than him? Konig thought quietly.
Everytime Konig saw you with Ghost, it felt like you took his heart so gingerly, so sparingly…only to stomp on it afterwards. Or whispering sweet nothings into his ear but plunging the knife in his heart, over, and over again.
“He wont talk to me-” your trembling voice broke him free from the prison someone called thoughts. “and I'm worried I really messed up big time…” I sobbed even harder into his chest, it felt like I was dying.
Dramatic much. Though my chest heaving, I was hyperventilating.
“Shhh…” he soothed, rubbing my lower back gently. Konig gritted his teeth and bit his tongue, he didn't want to upset you more than you already were. He didn’t want to add his name to the list of reasons.
He just sat there rubbing your back, just being a shoulder to cry on. My fingers clung to his shirt, like he was a balloon and I was trying so hard to keep him on the ground with me.
“I know it hurts, but everything will be fine.” he reassured, his voice soft but still stern enough to make you listen to him. He spoke of things he knew nothing about, having no prior knowledge was hard but he was trying his best.
Him calming me down was oddly comforting, his warm embrace made my heart flutter slightly. “Just calm down, it’ll be fine, I promise.” he calmed me further, his accent coming back stronger.
He held me tight, holding me like I was the most precious gem in the world and he would do anything to keep it in his possession.
How could he promise something he knew nothing about?
How could someone make such an empty promise?
I finally pulled away from him, my tear streaked face and glassy eyes looking up at him with a pained expression.
My breath was still labored, my bottom lip wobbling as I tried to keep myself steady.
“I know it hurts, but give him time,” he paused to take a sharp inhale. “You guys always work it out.” Konig mumbled through gritted teeth, his personal vendetta with Ghost was getting the better of him.
He wanted to say so much more, how Ghost didn't deserve you, how you shouldn't cry over someone like him. But he didn't, he kept his mouth shut because your comfort was his top priority.
It hurt him so much to see you in pain, to see you cry over Ghost was, who quite frankly, could go jump out of a helicopter and he’d be fine with it.
I was pulled from my thoughts as I glanced around the room. Out of my periphery I saw Ghost, leaning on the mess hall door watching me. Wait no…
Watching Konig?
His eyes looked like they were burning with irritation, though they had a hint of…
Jealousy?
His gaze narrowed on Konig who was looking at me with pitiful eyes, who looked at me like he wanted to say something more but didn't.
My head slowly rose to look up at Konig. My eyes were glassy as I looked up at him slowly, my lashes fluttering. He kept his hands on my waist, just looking down at me. That's when I realized Konig wasn't looking at me anymore, his eyes were focused on Ghost.
“I’m sorry…” I whispered, though I wasn't sure if he could hear me over the chattering in the mess hall.
That's right, I forgot that's where we were. It felt like everyone else was invisible when I saw Ghost, like I could only catch his gaze and that was it.
“Warum guckt er sie so an?!” König muttered beneath his mask. I looked up at König again, my head slightly cocking to the side at his comment. (Why does he look at her like that?!)
“Huh?” I asked quietly, my hands balled in front of me.
“Nothing.” he mumbled, his eyes quickly going back to mine. I glanced slowly back at the door, trying to see Ghost once more.
But he was gone, the tall Brit that stood there, watching, was now gone.
All I could see was the people chattering, not even noticing me and König, thank god.
“Im so sor-“ I started quickly before König cut me off.
“Don’t be sorry, its not your fault hes-“ König stopped himself from saying anything more. I gave König a slightly puzzled look when he abruptly stopped talking.
“Just don’t be sorry.” he restated, not bothering to add the extra words he was about to say.
Oh.
I just sat there on the bench, pondering in my own thoughts, pondering on what he was going to say. However thats when König stood up from the bench, no longer feeling his large hands on my waist.
“I have to go, schatz. But please, please, don’t be sorry, everything will be okay.” he assured as he rubbed my shoulder slightly, his accent dripping off of his words.
His words were sweet, so sweet. Almost like poison, leaving me slowly wanting more of his comfort, more of his touch.
I gave him a curt nod as I looked up at him, wiping my face with my sleeve while I watched König walk away.
I felt so alone all over again, my red puffy eyes returning like a bad hangover.
Another cold water splash for me.
I pulled myself from my thoughts, I needed to leave, I just needed to get out.
I started to force myself up from the bench, lowering my head to not let anyone see my tear stained face, and red puffy eyes. I began to walk briskly out of the mess hall, not bothering to to looking behind me as I reached the door.
For some odd reason when I reached the door my eyes wandered. I looked left and right, high and low, just to see if he was there.
If Ghost was there.
I shook my head and started walking quickly, the chattering and bickering slowly fading as I quietly walked out of the the mess hall, returning back to the uncomfortably quiet halls.
Finally returning back to the empty barracks I grabbed the cold door handle and swung open the door. Only to have warm air hit me as soon as it opened.
Great.
I walked over to the bathroom, reaching my hand up to the light switch. The yellow toned flickering light flooding the bathroom.
I sighed when I saw my face. Looking up to see my eyes were bloodshot, my under eyes no longer purple, they were red and puffy.
Just what I need.
I scoffed at my own thoughts before turning the sink on, letting the water run to a freezing temperature before finally lowering my head to splash my face with the water.
It felt like a sense of relief as the first drop hit my face, almost feeling like someone was running an ice cube across my face.
I continued to let the water hit me. My face gradually becoming warm because of the cold.
Though it gave me time to think, should I apologize to him?
Him was Ghost, I just couldn’t get him out of my head. The way he stared at me and König in the mess hall lingered in my mind like König’s cologne hitting my nose.
Wait- why am I even thinking about both of them?
I turned off the water and groaned. Wiping the droplets away from my eyes as I looked in the mirror once again. This time there was no redness,
well maybe except my nose that was cold now.
I grabbed a towel and roughly dried my face, before tossing the towel on my sink as I flicked off the light.
Leaning down I unzipped my boots, slipping them off I stood on the hot hardwood floor before I slumped on my bed. Letting all my worries slip slightly as I hit the hard mattress, the springs beneath me rattling slightly.
Why do I feel like this?
What am I feeling towards both of them-
What is even happening?
I laid on my bed, my feet slightly above the ground as I contemplated everything. I wanted to work things out between me and Ghost, but the look in his eyes when he saw me with König.
Not to mention König gripping me tighter when he saw Ghost.
The AC turning on erased my thoughts,
Finally, it’s hotter than the pits of hell in here.
My own thoughts were driving me crazy, I couldn’t stand to be alone with them anymore.
I guess thats it? I apologize and all of this stops?
I groaned getting up off my bed, my feet hitting the cold ground. No thick pair of socks can save you once the AC turns on.
I hobbled over to my boots, zipping them up quickly trying to get my poor feet off the cold hardwood.
Stumbling over my own feet I finally reached my door, carefully opening it, unlike how I swung it open 10 minutes ago.
The warm air of the halls hit me as I walked into them, slowly closing my door behind me.
Creeeeeek.
Was all I heard as my door closed. Cringing at the noise I started my journey to Ghosts office.
Roaming the halls it still held the same uncomfortable silence, odd.
My boots clicked and clacked as I ventured closer and closer to his office, my veins starting to pump with adrenaline as I drew closer.
My stomach churned with unease,
what would I say?
I didn’t even rehearse this!
Though my body had a mind of its own. As I drowned in my thoughts I finally realized I was standing in front of Ghosts office.
Good lord help me.
I was knocking on his door before I could even second guess myself.
Knock,
Knock,
Kno-
My first was still in the air when Ghost cracked the door open slightly, peering out to see who was knocking.
His eyes held an irritated gaze when he opened the door after realizing it was me. When his door opened enough to where I could see him fully, the smell of cigarettes and cologne wafted in my nose.
“Do you need something?” he grumbled, his brown eyes piercing through me.
“I uhm-“ I stammered, forget what I said earlier, I should have never came here.
“Cat got your tongue?” his eyes narrowed while his brows furrowed in annoyance, he was obviously not happy.
I let out a quick sigh as I fidgeted with my nails behind my back, “M’sor-“ I started quietly as he cut me off.
What is with them and cutting people off?
“Why.” he stated, nothing more, nothing less. His eyes holding no emotion to go off of anymore.
“Why?” I questioned as I stood outside of his doorway, my facial expression painted with confusion.
“Why?” he scoffed a pause, “Why were his hands all over you?” his voice was gruff when he spoke to me, his bulky figure leaning on the door frame.
I stared back at Ghost who was staring at me dead in the face. My eyes widened with surprise at his words, even his tone.
“What, do I have to elaborate for you?” he growled, his voice becoming rougher as his eyes bored into my soul.
“I- What?” I stumbled over my words, desperately trying to find the ones that were stuck in my throat. I stared blankly at him, my nails stinging from my consistent picking. Unease coursing through my frozen body.
He let out an exaggerated sigh before grabbing my wrist and pulling me into his office, slamming the door on my way in.
I let out a quiet yelp as he grabbed my wrist and dragged me into his office, the slamming door making my body jolt.
He spun me around, my back facing his desk as be grabbed my hips roughly.
“Ghost-“ My face flushed a pretty shade of pink, an unwanted shade of pink, right?
“Ghost get off of me!” I demanded as I pushed his hands off of me, stumbling as I tripped backwards into his desk.
What was he doing?
He looked at me with hungry eyes, jealousy and hunger. Though his eyes flashed with a hint of surprise as I pushed him back.
He didn’t say anything, both of us just stood there in an uncomfortable silence. His muscles tensing slightly when I pulled away.
“What the hell- Why would you put your hands on me?” I broke the silence, my eyes flashing with confusion- irritation even. I was so lost and confused.
“And why would you let him touch you like that?!” he countered, his husky voice getting lower as he took small steps towards me.
My blood ran cold as he started to walk towards me, I felt helpless as his eyes flashed with an unsettling look.
“I-“ my voice was caught in my throat, a lump was there was was impossible to choke down.
“Why does it matter to you?” I finally choked out. But that was probably the worst choice of words I could have picked.
‘Because I care about you.’
His words rang in my head, practically running circles.
Though a shadowy figure broke me from my thoughts when I realized he was standing directly in front of me, his bulky figure looming over mine.
His palms rested on the cool wooden desk my back laid against.
“What are you-“ my words got lost as he cupped my chin harshly forcing me look up at him.
My body shuddered, I stayed frozen. My mouth hung open, desperately trying to say words that fell on deaf ears.
I couldn’t speak, I physically couldn’t, my words hung in the air like a sheet swaying in the wind on a clothes line.
“Why would you let him touch you, [name].” his voice was low and husky. It didn’t even sound like a question anymore, it felt like a command.
Like he was commanding me to stay helpless beneath him, commanding me to answer his ‘questions’.
More like demands.
“Thats none of your business Ghost- Get off of me!” I shouted, my voice trembling slightly as I tried to use my palms to push him back,
but to no avail.
He was anticipating this, Ghost stood tall like a brick wall in front of me. Keeping my cheeks in his rough gloved hand.
I was stuck.

pairing: rafe cameron x fem!reader
summary: you went the whole day thinking of rafe and decided to call him at the end of the day, basically the next day, you never expected him to but an answered your call anyway.
warnings: arguing, vulgar language, mentions of sex, lmk if i missed anything! (not proof read)
cassie's notes: i searched everywhere to find rafe's birthday but i couldn't find one with a specific date so i used drew's birthday. i had the best idea listening to '21' by gracie abrams, i recommend listening to it while reading.. enjoy! with love always, cassie <3.
as your eyes fluttered lightly, waking you up from your sleep to get ready for your university classes. you grab your phone from your bedside table to check the time until your eyes fell onto the date.
4th November.. his birthday. you put your phone back on the dresser and look up at the ceiling, thinking about how you used to celebrate rafe's birthday with him.
you first woke up with a cake, singing to him and watching him make a wish, spending the day doing whatever he wanted if both you're schedules allowed you to and then, of course, a party.. and after too many intoxicating items the both of you consumed you'd end up at your apartment, every piece of clothing discarded on the floor, yours and his moans heard through out the night. as you're day dreaming slowly came to an end and you got out of your bed, you wondered if rafe was now spending the day with another woman like how you two used to.
as you got ready for the day, not bothering to put in effort. you slipped into your grey sweatpants and a black long sleeved shirt with a hoodie, leaving your hair down and little to no makeup.
during all your classes, you couldn't stop thinking about rafe, all your thoughts were of him, every hour, every minute. you thought about calling him all throughout the day but didn't want to embarrass yourself knowing there could be thousands of different out comes if you do call rafe, most of them being negative ones.
the day passes by in a blur and the next thing you know you're bak in your apartment looking through all the things you kept that either belonged to rafe or reminded you of rafe. you find a picture of you and rafe, it was a photobooth picture.
the first picture you had your arms around rafe's neck smiling at the camera while rafe was admiring you, not bothering to smile at the camera. the second picture you turned to look at rafe and smiled at each other with big grins. the last picture is you and rafe sharing a sweet passionate kiss. you smiled at the picture, realising how badly your heart was starting the yearn for the dirty blonde-haired boy.
hours passed by, you managed to complete tasks around the house as well as any schoolwork so that you're caught up with everything. when night fell upon the city, you laid awake in your bed, staring at the ceiling and, still, thinking of rafe. you reached for your phone and read the time, 11:43 p.m.
'what if i just called him?' you thought to yourself not realising you were already searching for his contact in your phone. once you phoned his contact, you inhaled and exhaled a few times to prepare yourself for what you're about to do, before you knew it, you pressed the call button.
'he won't answer, he won't answer, he won't answer..' you repeated to yourself over and over again and after the third ring you were about to end the call until you heard the sound of the call being accepted and you felt your heart go to your stomach.
"y/n?', you heard rafe's voice, you could hear the sound of faint music in the back, sounding very muffled.
"rafe, hey.. uh- happy 21st.", i wish him, wondering if he can hear my anxiety through the phone.
"thank you.. i appreciate it.", he thanks and i mumble a 'your welcome' and just before i end the call i hear his voice loud and clear.
"you know, i was kinda to see a text or something from you all day.", he admits with a slight chuckle, his words bringing a faint smile to my face.
"i wanted to reach out so many times, trust me, i just didn't want to embarrass myself, you know?', i explain to the boy and he lets out a little 'mhm' in response.
'uh- how was your day? shouldn't you being having a party right now?", i asked the boy.
"honestly, kinda lame compared to all the years we spent it together, but i am at my party- or was. i ran to my car the second i saw your name pop up on my phone.", rafe explains again and i feel my smile growing.
"i miss you so much y/n.", he speaks again and i sit up, leaning against my head board, processing his words.
"i miss you more rafe.. more than you would ever know. everything reminds me of you- of us.", i express my feelings to the boy.
"i need to see you y/n, where are you?", he asks me and i can hear his car starting, ready to drive wherever i am.
"my apartment- the same address as always.", i reply and rafe lets out a little 'okay' in response. we stay on the phone with each other as he drives to my place and catch up with one another over what's happened in the year we've been separated.
after about 20 minutes of us talking, and rafe driving, he tells me he's outside the door to my apartment and i end the phone call going to the door to unlock it for rafe. as soon as i open the door we greet each other and i invite rafe inside.
i quickly lock the door and turn around to see rafe walking and looking around my apartment.
"i like what you did with your place, it's different- a good different.", he turns back to look at me with a smile and i return the smile.
"yeah- i needed a change.", i look around my apartment with rafe before noticing his eyes fall to a specific wall in my room dedicated to pictures of my friends and myself. there was a specific picture of rafe and i- the photobooth picture from this afternoon.
"you still have that?", he asks me with a smile, i nod my head in reply and as he looks at the picture, my face turns to him and i admire his features. he didn't change much, still had his buzz cut, and those gorgeous blue eyes that you could always get lost in. while you were admiring your ex-boyfriend, you didn't notice him looking back at you with the same amount of admiration until you heard his voice.
"i really missed you, y/n.", he repeats what he said earlier on the phone call.
"i really missed you too, rafe.", i tell him and feel my eyes fill with tears while looking up at him.
"hey- what's the matter, huh?", he asks and steps closer to me wrapping his arms around me, placing his chin on my head. i wrap my arms around his waist and attempt to keep the tears inside of my eyes.
"i don't know.. i just really miss being with you- being yours.", i explain to the boy and feel his old on my body get tighter.
"i miss that too y/n/n, so much. the things i'd do for you to be mine again.", he mumbles the last part before leaning down slightly to kiss my head. i slowly lift my gaze from the floor to his face.
"you'd willingly want to be with me again?", i ask the boy with a faint smile on my face.
"always- i feel like i'm required to have a second chance with you as i've learned from my past mistakes and am now a better man for you. if you don't want that i completely understand.", rafe says as he locks his eyes with mine with a smirk on his face.
i don't say anything, i close my eyes and place my lips on his- the kiss is filled with love and passion. it's not rough- it's slow and sensual. i slowly pull away.
"i never stopped being yours rafe..", i say in a voice above a whisper before placing my lips back on rafe's, feeling the both of us smile into the kiss.
"'missed these sweet lips..", he mumbles softly and wraps his arms under my thighs, making me jump and wrap my legs around his waist and he walks towards my bed, placing me down on my back and leaning down between my legs.
"show me how much you missed me, rafey.."

Part 34: Twilight Zone
Saturday, September 23rd, 1989
"Hurry up, Eds! They're gonna be here in less than an hour! And we still have to get dressed!" You shout to Eddie as you both scramble to get your apartment tidied up before your guests arrive.
"I'm going as fast as I can, angel! I still don't get why we have to clean up the bedroom. It's not like we're having the party in there. Unless it's an extra fun kind of party you didn't tell me about." He jokes, picking up all his dirty clothes from the floor of the bedroom and tossing them in the laundry basket. He fixes the bedspread, putting it just the way you want it to be.
"They might take a peek out of curiosity, Eddie. And if they do, I don't want anyone to think we live like pigs!" You retort, wiping down the coffee table with some lemon Pledge. "Did you get the litter box already?" You call to him from down the hall.
"Yes, Y/N. For the millionth time, yes!" He groans, wiping his palms down his face. You're being particularly anal-retentive tonight, so eager to impress your friends with your new apartment. He'd find it cute if it wasn't so goddamn annoying.
"I'm sorry. I just want everything to be perfect. It's our first time having people over." You say as you get up off the floor and rush to the kitchen and empty the dishwasher. "Can you take the trash out, babe?" You ask, the last thing you need to do before getting dressed.
"You got it, sweetheart. But if this is how it's gonna be any time we have people over, I'm gonna avoid it like the fuckin' plague." He grumbles, pulling the very full bag out of the can to take it to the trash chute.
"We wouldn't be rushing if somebody hadn't kept us in bed all day." You sing-song, putting the blame on him.
"Says the woman who couldn't stop riding my face." Eddie scoffs, heading out the front door for a moment to take the garbage away. You sigh, waiting for him to come back so you can put an end to the bickering. Tonight is supposed to be fun, and relaxing. To spend time with your friends. You finish putting the dishes away, and hear him open the door again, much gentler this time. You smile when you recognize his slow steps, he's coming over to you to apologize. "I'm sorry, babydoll. I know you wanna be a good hostess." Eddie coos, pressing a kiss to your neck as his hands find your hips.
"I'm sorry, too. I don't need to be riding your ass so much. You've been really helpful." You sigh blissfully, more than happy to end this little tiff.
"Mmm, very true. You ride my ass enough as it is." He chuckles darkly, nipping on your throat.
"You know you love it, Eds." You reply, holding back a moan at his teeth worrying your skin into a light bruise. "We'd better get ready, baby. We don't have a lot of time." You say softly, your eyes fallen closed from his insatiable touch.
"I s'pose you're right. I'd hate for our friends to find you bent over this counter while I'm fucking you into next week." He gives you one last little bite, before pulling away entirely. He clears his throat, adjusting himself uncomfortably in his jeans.
"Naughty boy." You giggle impishly, heading down the hallway to change into a cute dress for tonight. Something black, and revealing. A garment that will drive Eddie wild all night, forcing him to keep his hands to himself until everybody leaves.
"You're wearing that?" Eddie asks, pointing at the silk, spaghetti strap dress you're holding on its hanger.
"Mhm. Just for you, baby." You tease, biting your lip.
"Ugh, you're killin' me already, sweetheart. Do you have any idea how hard it's gonna be to behave myself?" He groans, his pants growing tighter at the idea of your sinful body in that little number. The skirt barely goes past your ass, and the front shows off every ounce of cleavage imaginable.
"I’m highly aware of the challenge. I only hope you're up for it." You give him a cheeky wink, turning away to undress.
"What should I wear, princess?" Eddie asks, somewhat distracted by your jeans rolling down your legs, leaving your supple skin exposed.
"Uh, I dunno. A nicer shirt, and jeans with no holes in them at least." You answer, sensing his eyes on you. You take off your shirt, and switch out your current bra for a far more sexy one. You also remove your panties, neglecting to put on a fresh pair altogether. Eddie definitely takes notice while he exchanges his own clothes, smiling to himself with all the little ways he can tease you tonight.
"How do I look?" He asks as you turn around. He looks exactly as you were expecting, wearing a dark blue button-up with rolled sleeves and the top buttons left open to show off his chest a bit. You've seen him dressed this way so many times, but it never, ever gets old. He of course can't be bothered to wear nicer pants, but he at least listened about 'no holes'.
"You look good enough to eat, baby." You say lowly, walking over to him, your hands meeting his chest. You guide his back to the wall, unable to help yourself. You give him a hungry kiss, slipping your hand inside the opening of his shirt. Eddie hums against you, grabbing your ass as your tongues come out to play.
"So do you, sweetheart. You have no idea." He says with a smirk between kisses. He squeezes your rounds of flesh roughly, making you moan as arousal spreads through your bare folds. Eddie pulls away, the both of you left out of breath. "You'd better finish gettin' ready. I sense a group of freaks and weirdos quickly approaching." He jokes, giving your butt a light smack to dismiss you.
"Eddie Munson, showing some self-control. I'd better alert the press." You bully, leaving him to go do your makeup in the bathroom. You keep it light, mostly lipstick and eyeliner. Eddie insists that's all you ever need. He's such a sweetheart, always showering you with compliments. You'll never get over feeling so loved by him every second of the day.
"Keep crackin' the jokes, love. See how well that works out for you." He calls to you in warning, before following you. He sits across from you on the edge of the bathtub. He watches as you meticulously circle your eyes in thin black lines, and drag a cherry red lipstick across your mouth into a blowjob-worthy pout. Just when you set the stick down and give yourself a final once-over, you hear a knock on the door.
"Shit! They're here!" You run back to the bedroom, scrambling to put your heels on. "Get the door!" You command, and Eddie goes to greet your guests. You hear the voices of Steve, Robin, Nancy, and Chrissy as they step inside your home. You immediately feel giddy, pulling the back strap over your heel to get your other shoe on. You leave the bedroom, joining the party before they wonder where you are.
"Y/N! You look totally smokin'!" Robin exclaims, handing off the bags of chips she brought to Steve so she can give you a hug. She throws her arms around you, squeezing a little too tight.
"Hey, now. Don't be makin' moves on my woman." Eddie scolds playfully, waiting for his turn. "How are you, Rob?" He asks as they embrace.
"I'm doing great. I've actually started seeing someone." She says happily.
"And who's the lucky guy?" He asks, and the room falls quiet. "What?" He questions, confused. Everyone gives him awkward looks, clearly he's missed something.
"The lucky girl is named Vickie." Robin replies, almost flinching as she speaks. Everyone waits for his reaction, and he just smiles wide.
"Oh! Well, that's great! Can't wait to meet her." Eddie says a little too loud, growing red in the face.
"Sorry, I thought you knew." Robin sucks through her teeth.
"Nope. I really was kidding before. God, I'm a dumbass." He smacks his forehead, clearing his throat to force the feeling of idiocy away.
"Don't feel bad, Eddie. I didn't know right away, either. I spent almost an entire summer pining after her." Steve says, hoping to alleviate the tension in the room.
"And that was seriously painful to watch, Stevie." Robin says, taking the chips from him once again and bringing them to the kitchen.
"Alright, enough! Who needs a drink?" Nancy asks, rolling her eyes. Everyone answers in some form of 'yes', and she takes it upon herself to pour the girls some wine and get beers for the boys. You finish giving your hugs and take a seat. Robin, Nancy, and Chrissy sit on the couch, while Steve and Eddie take the armchairs, with you in Eddie's lap.
"I guess I'll be the first to congratulate you on your victory yesterday." Chrissy says, speaking up the first time this evening.
"Thank you, Chris. We're extremely relieved it went our way." Eddie replies for the both of you, squeezing you a little with his arms that rest around your waist.
"I wish I would've been there to see it. But I couldn't get off work." She says, somewhat sadly.
"It's okay, really. It's not like you were involved or anything. And you've got your own trial to worry about." You reassure her.
"Shit, I don't even want to think about that right now." She laughs dryly, taking a large gulp from her glass.
"No problem. We'll move on to somethin' else. How's JJ?" Eddie asks, changing the subject.
"He's doing great! He's been adjusting really well to us living with my aunt." Chrissy smiles, reminded of her pride and joy. She misses him every second she's away, but she appreciates having the chance to get out of the house on her own tonight.
"That's great. I'm glad you're both doing so well." You respond, taking a large sip of your wine.
"Thank you. This place looks great, by the way." She says kindly.
"Yeah, it really does. No offense, but I always took Munson for a slob." Steve chimes in.
"Believe me, Y/N won't stand for my messiness. She really cracked the whip to get me to help clean up before you guys came over." Eddie replies with a chuckle, pinching your side teasingly.
"Knowing Y/N, I doubt it was that bad to begin with." Nancy adds, giving you a reassuring nod. She knows full well how much the boys like to tease, even if they go a bit too far.
"What can I say? I can't stand clutter, it drives me crazy." You shrug, polishing off your first drink of the evening. "Anyone need a refill?" You ask, getting out of Eddie's lap to stand up.
"I'll take another beer, sweetheart." Eddie answers, chugging the rest of his half-drunk one and handing you the empty bottle as he swallows. He lets out a low belch, covering his mouth with his fist. "S'cuse me."
"Charming as always, Eds." You roll your eyes, taking the bottle and tossing it away in the kitchen trash. You get a fresh one from the fridge, and pour yourself another glass of dry red. You return to his lap a moment later, giving him his beer.
"Thank you, babydoll." Eddie coos, giving you a gentle kiss.
"So, Rob? What do we need to know about this mysterious 'Vickie'?" You ask, looking at her. You're very happy to hear that she's found somebody, you were becoming a little worried that she'd be subtly pining after you forever. It's flattering, sure. But one-sided crushes aren't exactly a pleasant experience. And more than anything, you wouldn't want any romantic feelings to get in the way of your friendship. Robin is a really amazing person in every way, and you hope to know her for the rest of your days.
"Well, she's a redhead. She keeps it real short, very Molly Ringwald. And she's got these beautiful eyes I could get lost in for hours. And she likes all the same movies I do, our first date was actually watching Dr. Zhivago in her apartment. She has great taste in everything, really. Food, music, fashion..." Robin speaks dreamily about Vickie, which makes your heart fill with happiness on her behalf. The way you can see her visualizing this girl as she describes her, eyes twinkling with pure admiration. It reminds you of the way you and Eddie feel about each other. Totally, completely, helplessly in love. Robin eventually stops talking, realizing she's gone on a rather impassioned rant. "Sorry, I'm talking too much." She blushes, suddenly feeling embarrassed.
"No, you're not. Vickie sounds awesome, Robin. And I'm sure she'd happily talk her friends' ears off about you, too." You say with a laugh, and her expression brightens in response.
"I appreciate that, Y/N. I'll have to bring her along next time." Robin can't help beaming at that idea, bringing her first real girlfriend around to meet all of her friends. It sounds so perfect, so...normal. She doesn't really get a whole lot of that in this less-than-open-minded town.
"You'd better." You affirm. "What about you, Steve? Any luck in the dating pool?" You change the subject a little, noticing Steve has grown a little quiet now. You suppose his past crush on Robin, as well as her new relationship, has reminded him of his bad luck in love.
"Nah, not really. I've kinda tapped it out at this point." Steve says dryly, taking a swig of his beer.
"I'm sorry to hear that. You really are a great guy, Steve." You reply apologetically, recognizing that this may not have been the right route to take.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. 'The right girl is out there somewhere'." He mocks, rolling his eyes at the constant reassurance that he will find 'the one' someday. He's become less and less convinced that this is true, and watching the rest of you be so damn happy certainly isn't helping his case. Eddie Munson of all people can find a smokin' hot chick that's the love of his life, and Steve 'the King' Harrington can't? He may as well give up altogether.
"Don't be an ass, man. It may be annoying and cliche, but it's true. Maybe if you stopped tryin' so hard, it would happen for you." Eddie cuts in, speaking honestly. He feels for Steve's plight, truly, he does. Hell, he never thought he'd be so lucky to find a girl even half as amazing as you are. But before you came along, he went looking for affection in all the wrong places. It wasn't until he took a minute to step back and let shit fall where it may, that you happened to come crashing into his life. Well, more like he crashed into yours, if he's honest about it. Steve gives him a slight glare, but Eddie doesn't let up. "Look, all I'm sayin' is that I've been where you are. We all have." Eddie gestures around the room, and everyone nods in agreement. "You can't force true love or connection, Steve. You just have to let it happen."
"I know. I just..." Steve trails off, sighing as he doesn't want to say what he's really thinking. You'll all laugh and call him a weenie. He picks at the label on his beer, before flicking his eyes up to gaze around the room. And what he finds surprises him. You're all looking at him intently, with loving, supportive expressions on your faces. "I just want to get my life started so badly. I want a partner, a home, and lots of kids. It's all I've ever wanted." His breath catches, heat building behind his eyes. "I wanna build a family, to shower them with all this love I have inside of me. Because I never got that from my parents. Ever." His voice breaks, and he realizes that he's crying. Way to ruin the mood, dingus, he mentally scolds himself.
"Aw, Stevie. C'mere." Robin says, standing up to go to him. He meets her in the middle, and she captures him in a tight hug. "It'll happen, Steve. I promise. And you're gonna make a great husband, and a great dad. Whoever your spouse and kids turn out to be will be so lucky to have you." She says tearfully, wishing she could conjure up someone perfect for her best friend. It's too bad things don't work that way.
The rest of you stand up too, forming a warm group hug around Steve. He takes notice of the additional weight surrounding him, laughing through a sob. "Jesus, I'm sorry, guys. I'm being a total dork right now."
"No you're not, Steve. We love you, and we're here for you. That's what friends are for." Nancy says, resting her head on Steve's shoulder. He sighs happily at the contact, so grateful to have all of you as his friends. The six of you stay standing like this for a minute, radiating kindness and empathy.
"Okay, I think I'm good now." Steve dries his eyes, smiling wide. "Who's up for a game of Trivial Pursuit?"
Your huddle disperses at Steve's suggestion for a more cheerful activity, taking your places once more. Steve pulls out the game, and everyone picks their color to play. You spend the next hour or so answering various trivia questions and filling in the little plastic pie slices. The lot of you get rather competitive, though, on the edge of your seats as you try to get as many answers right as possible. There's lots of laughing, and shouting, and cheers of victory. It's all a very good time among friends, the energy in the room happy and comfortable. You've missed doing things like this with these wonderful people. The last thing you can remember that would even come close to this was karaoke at the Hideaway, which was months ago.
"Fuck, yes! I win!" Eddie surprises everyone by taking the win, forcing you off of his lap to do a goofy victory dance. He pulls you in for a celebratory kiss afterwards, very nearly sweeping you off your feet. This earns some rather lewd noises from the others, and you have to push him away to get it to stop.
"Looks like I need another refill." You say once the ruckus dies off, picking up your empty glass. Nancy and Robin follow behind to fill up their own glasses again, too.
"Hey, where's your bathroom?" Steve asks, getting up from his spot.
"Down the hall and to the left, Stevie. Don't get lost." You answer with a giggle, opening the fridge to get out the opened wine bottle. You fill up your glass, as well as Nancy's and Robin's. You make very light conversation, hearing Eddie get out of his chair to sit with Chrissy on the couch for a minute while you all take a break.
"I haven't had the chance to thank you, Eddie." Chrissy says on the other side of the wall.
"For what?" He replies.
"For saving my life." Chrissy clarifies.
"Oh, please. That was all Y/N." Eddie says humbly.
"But you helped. And before I left Jason, you were there for me when I needed you." She says sweetly, which makes you smile a little.
"I was selling you drugs, Chris. That's hardly 'being there' for someone." He snorts, undoubtedly rolling his eyes.
"We both know you did more than that. You listened to me, when no one else would." She insists.
You don't hear them say anything else for a moment, which feels odd. You expected to hear Eddie give some kind of response to that, he's not one to freeze up mid-conversation. Something doesn't feel right. You take your glass, ignoring whatever the hell Robin and Nancy have been talking about. Not that you were particularly paying attention to begin with. They give you an odd look, following your quick footsteps. You come around the corner, returning to the living room. And you find something you'd never expect to in a million years. You see Chrissy kissing your boyfriend, hands cupping his face, while his own hands sit frozen in his lap.
"What the fuck?" You gasp, your stomach dropping at the sight before you. Your wine glass falls from your hand, shattering on the floor and spilling a trail of dark red in the debris.
Eddie pushes Chrissy away, practically leaping off the couch to distance himself from her. His eyes meet yours, his mouth open in shock. "Y/N, it's not what it looks like." He puts a defensive hand up, hoping you'll let him explain.
"And what does it look like, Eds?" You snip, crossing your arms. "Because to me, it looks like you're kissing someone who isn't your girlfriend!" You say angrily, giving Chrissy a sour look.
"I-I didn't! She kissed me!" Eddie splutters, gesturing at the blushing woman still sitting on your sofa.
"And why would she do that, Eddie? Are you sleeping with her?" You retort, growing angrier by the second. You were all having such a nice night, and it's quickly turned into a nightmare.
"What?! No! Jesus, Y/N! When would I even have time to do that?" He asks, making you scoff.
"Dude, that is not the way to answer that." Steve interjects, coming back down the hall from his bathroom break. He's heard everything else so far, you aren't exactly keeping things quiet.
"Seriously." You add, shaking your head. "But you didn't answer my question. Are you sleeping with her?" You ask again, stepping closer to Eddie. Your body is coursing with adrenaline, and you're trying not to break down crying right now. Your stomach is doing flips, and you really hope this night doesn't end the way you think it will.
"No, Y/N. I swear to you, I am not cheating on you. Not with Chrissy, not with anyone." Eddie explains as calmly as he can, though on the inside he feels like the world is falling apart. The fury in your eyes, your trembling body, he senses a blow-out on the horizon.
"Alright. Fine." You say flatly, turning away from him to face Chrissy again. "Why did you kiss my boyfriend?" You ask her viciously. She raises her bowed head, a single tear rolling down her cheek. "Have you slept with Eddie before, Chrissy?" She doesn't even have to say anything, her shifting eyes and continued tears tell you everything you need to know. "Fuck's sake." You chuckle angrily, turning away from the entire party and storming down the hallway. You don't even know what you're doing, you're just following your bodily instincts. You go to your closet, finding a small suitcase. You yank it out and plop it on the bed. You hear footsteps approaching, four sets of them. You ignore them, far too upset to do anything besides pack your things and get the fuck out of here.
"Y/N, what the hell are you doing?" Eddie asks fearfully once he and the others enter the room.
"What's it look like I'm doing?" You shoot back, still avoiding his gaze.
"Y/N, please, just let me explain." He says, stepping forward to put his hand on your arm.
"Don't fucking touch me!" You shriek, yanking your arm away and pointing an accusing finger at him. "Tell me the truth. All of it." You jab at his chest.
"Alright, alright. Can you just stop for a minute?" Eddie pleads, holding back tears as he fears losing you. He looks to the others gathered in the doorway. "You mind giving us some privacy?" He asks rudely, shooing everyone else away. They scurry back down the hall, leaving you and Eddie alone. He goes to shut the bedroom door, and turns to you again. "Can you sit with me? Please?" He sits on the edge of the bed, gesturing for you to join him. You do, but you sit as far away on the other side as you possibly can. You're still boiling with rage, shaking terribly as you begin to feel a bit sick.
"Go on." You say with an expectant glare, crossing your arms even tighter.
"Alright." Eddie sighs. "Chrissy and I hooked up once back in high school when she and Jason had been broken up for about a week. We were drunk, and at a party. But a little bit later, she got back with him and she ended up pregnant." He explains, and your eyes widen.
"Is JJ yours?" You blurt, and his face scrunches.
"What! Fuck no! I had enough sense to wear a fucking condom, Y/N." He rolls his eyes at your accusation.
"Okay, fine. So, you hooked up in high school. Why would she have any reason to kiss you now, three years after the fact?" You're not buying for a single second that they've only had sex once. Women don't kiss guys they had a one-night stand with like that. They do that due to something more, when they think there's still something left. "Did you sleep with her after she was married? Before we got together?" You question, regretting every word as it slips from your pursed lips. You don't want it to be true. But why else would Chrissy deem it at all appropriate to kiss your fucking boyfriend?
"Sweetheart, I一" He starts, trying to come up with an excuse, some kind of explanation that doesn't mean that he's lied to you. But he can't. He shakes his head, looking away in shame.
"Eddie. Please...tell me you didn't." You say tearfully, your lip beginning to tremble as your worst fear about this whole situation comes to fruition.
"I'm sorry. I can't." Eddie practically whispers, his voice laced with sorrow and guilt. You get off the bed again, resuming your task of packing your shit while burning tears fall from your eyes. "Baby, please. Don't do this." He begs, unsure what to do or say to convince you to stay. He knows he's so unbelievably in the wrong here, but he can't lose you.
"Why did you lie to me?" You sob, stuffing some of your shirts into the suitcase. You go for some pants next, your vision blurry and distorted. "You promised me you'd never do that." You slam the dresser drawer shut after retrieving a couple pairs of jeans. Eddie flinches at the sound. You can't stop picturing them together. Eddie's lips on hers, or between her legs, making her cum on his face. His hands all over her body, his voice moaning her name instead of yours. The two of them going at it on that damned kitchen table, or in her fucking bed, while JJ sleeps in the other room. The images make you want to vomit, or punch a hole in the wall.
"I really didn't mean to, princess. When I started dealing to Chrissy, we were both lonely people. It just...happened. We made a mistake, but we put an end to it. I'm not proud of it, Y/N. I didn't want to think about it anymore." Eddie says, his own tears falling in warm drips onto his jeans. He doesn't stand up to stop you, or beg and plead with you to forgive him.
"But you went out of your way to tell me nothing went on between you two! You lied to me! You claimed you couldn't go to the police to help her! But you were more than capable of sticking your dick in her!" You can't help shouting at him, frantically stuffing underwear and socks on top of everything else in the suitcase. You put your uniform in last, closing the main compartment. You'll retrieve your toiletries on the way out and shove them in the front pocket. You have one last thing to ask him, something that's been gnawing at you for a good few minutes. You pull your luggage down to the floor, rolling it along so you can stand before Eddie again. He meets your eyes, his own red and watery. "Do you have feelings for her?" You ask coldly.
"I did, for a little while. But not anymore. I only care about you, Y/N." He says honestly, taking your free hand in his. You pull it away, making him break down entirely. "Y/N, please! I'm sorry! I don't want to lose you!" He cries, slipping off the bed and falling to his knees. Your heart breaks at seeing him so distraught. But you can't let this go so easily. He lied about something pretty fucking important, he could be lying about anything else. Anyone else. You have to be alone to think this over, to decide if this is enough to destroy the foundation of your relationship.
"I just need some time, Eddie. Regardless of how awful Jason is, you slept with a married woman. Multiple times. And then you lied to me about it at the start of our relationship, and continued to keep the truth from me. I have to figure out if I can really trust you, because right now...I don't." You explain through your gut-wrenching sobs. You're not even all that angry anymore. You're sad, heartbroken, and betrayed. You can't even look at him right now without seeing all the things you imagine he did with Chrissy. Distance is what you need. To think things over rationally, without Eddie whispering sweet nothings in your ear to convince you to forgive and forget.
You turn away from him, going for the door. You open it, causing the others to fall into the room as they've been eavesdropping. Except Chrissy. You're guessing she had the good sense to get to hell out of dodge, before you dragged her by the hair to throw her out. You sigh loudly at their pained expressions, rolling your eyes at their nosiness. You don't say anything to any of them, stepping over their entangled bodies to get your toothbrush and shampoo from the bathroom.
"Do you need a ride home, Y/N?" Steve asks, groaning as Robin's foot is lodged against his shin.
"Yes. Please." You whimper, failing miserably to keep any semblance of control over yourself. You shove all the toiletries your frazzled mind can remember into the little pocket, only managing to zip it halfway closed. You go back to the hall, giving Eddie one last glance before you leave. You reach up to the back of your neck, removing the guitar pick necklace he made for you. You toss it back over to him, and he regretfully catches it in his hand. "Don't forget to feed Arwen." You say with total finality. He nods, not saying anything else. Not a damn word out of his mouth could convince you to take back your decision, so it's no use to open his mouth at all. He just continues sobbing on the floor, wondering how the hell he's going to survive a single day without you.
Robin, Nancy, and Steve manage to get themselves up off the floor. They say their awkward goodbyes to an inconsolable Eddie, and walk with you out of the apartment. Robin grabs your purse and textbooks on the way out, and helps you load everything up into Steve's trunk once you make it outside.
"I'm so sorry, Y/N. I hope you two can work this out." Robin says, giving you a heartfelt hug.
"Do you want us to stay with you tonight? So you don't have to be alone?" Nancy offers, not wanting to let you stew all by yourself right now. Break-ups call for girlfriends staying over and lots of ice cream. At least, they do for her.
"No. I just want to go home. Maybe another time." You force a small smile for her kind idea, though it falls away to let another flood of tears come crashing down your cheeks.
"That's alright. Don't hesitate to call us, okay? We're always here for you." She says, giving you a hug of her own.
"Thanks. I'll see you later." You pull away from her, going with Steve now who has the car running. You get into the passenger seat, collapsing into your own lap as he pulls out of the parking lot. Steve does his best to console you as he drives, but it's no use. Part of you feels like you've made a horrible mistake, that you should beg him to turn around and take you back to Eddie. But the other part feels like there's no coming back from this. That it's all ruined, that it's over. You're completely spiraling. You're tipsy and exhausted from entertaining guests all night, and then finding out this terrible, awful thing. You just need to get home. And you need your mom.
Steve pulls into the driveway in front of your house, leaving the engine running as he doesn't expect to stay long. You get out of the car, going to the trunk to gather your things. Steve helps you out, and you hear the front door open. Mom comes outside, wondering what you're doing here so late.
"Sugarpuff? What's going on?" She asks with sleepy concern. You look at her, still quietly sobbing. She sees your splotchy face, eyeliner forming thick lines all over. "Honey, what's wrong?"
"Mom一" You only manage to squeak out this one word, before falling apart all over again. She rushes over to you, capturing you in her arms. You wrap yourself around her so tight, crying so hard you could throw up.
"Shhh, it's okay. It's okay." She coos, stroking your hair as you wail into her shoulder. "Let's get you inside, alright? I'll make you some tea, and you can tell me what happened." She says sweetly, pulling back from your embrace and taking your hand. Steve brings your belongings in for you, and Mom thanks him and tells him goodnight. She sits you down on the couch, and goes to the kitchen to make some tea to help you calm down. "Okay, here you go. Now, tell mama what's wrong." She says as she hands you your tea, taking a seat right next to you.
"O-okay." You stutter, almost gasping for air from all your sobbing. You proceed to tell her everything that happened tonight. Chrissy kissing Eddie, finding out about their past relationship, packing up and leaving, giving his necklace back. She calmly listens to you speak, but she can't help getting a little angry on your behalf on the inside. She'll ream that little fucker for lying to you, for hurting you. No one messes with her baby girl, not even the man she loves.
"I'm so sorry, sugarpuff. Do you know what you're gonna do?" She asks, putting her hand over yours.
"I don't know. I love him, Mom. I really do. I think I just have to sleep on it...for a while. I don't want to give up on us. But I'm worried that I can't trust him now." You sigh, wishing you could solve this right now. But your mind and body have other ideas. Your eyelids are drooping as you sit here, and you feel so heavy, like you're made out of bricks.
"I understand, and I think it's a good idea to think it over. You can stay here as long as you need to, okay? And whatever you decide to do, I'll always support you, sweetie." Mom replies.
"Thanks, Mom. I love you." You give her another hug, much shorter and gentler this time. "I'd better let you get to bed. I'm sorry for waking you." You add as you pull away.
"Oh, no hour is too late for my babies when they need me." She chuckles. "I think you could benefit from some rest, too, kiddo." She cups your cheek, once again noting the obvious evidence of exhaustion on your face.
"I know. I'll try my best." You give her a small smile, standing up with her to head to bed. You walk down the hall, turning to her before entering your old bedroom. "Goodnight, Mom." You say, fighting back a yawn.
"Goodnight, sugarpuff. I love you." She replies. She goes into her own room, closing the door behind her. You do the same, finding your old bed waiting for you. The blankets and pillows are arranged nice and neat, the bedding pink and juvenile. But all it reminds you of is the times you and Eddie shared in it.
Your first night, after you sat in on one of Hellfire's campaigns, the two of you turning each other on under everybody's noses. On your birthday, when he gave you the little book of sex positions he'd made. After your father's funeral, when he got you high and snuggled with you for what felt like hours. And countless, unforgettable others. So many memories made in one room, all of which have come back to haunt you now.
You can hear Eddie's infectious laugh mingling with your own as he tickles you on the floor. You can smell his cigarettes and cheap cologne wafting past your nose. You can taste your own arousal transferred from his mouth to yours in a hungry, post-oral kiss. You can feel his large hands caressing your body to admire every last inch of you, the rings on his fingers shocking you with a welcome cold. And all of these only break your heart even more.
"Fuck." You mutter, sensing another bout of uncontrollable sadness coming on. But at least you can be alone, in your own bed, and not have to answer any more questions. For tonight, at least, you get the solitude you've found yourself craving for the last hour. You step out of your heels, just now noticing how much your feet have been killing you all night. You slip off your dress, and toss it and the bra you had on underneath in the corner. You don't bother to put any other clothes on, it's not like you've never slept alone in the nude before.
You crawl under the covers, realizing just how cold this bed is now. Without Eddie, without his warmth and cuddles and kisses. You don't even have Arwen to keep you company, you left her at the apartment. But you know Eddie will take good care of her. You force the oncoming memory of you two cuddling the cat away from your mind. You can't keep reminiscing over your entire relationship right now. It's not over yet. At least, you sure as shit hope it won't be. But that's not to be decided tonight, perhaps not for a good while.
To be continued...

So.
Act 5, huh?
Oh, and that.
"You can start breakdown now."
Finished the game couple of days ago and had some thoughts I needed to process a little. Like. Yes.
So anyway I actually didn't plan this and just wanted to redraw some sprites to just make sure I understand how to draw Siffrin correctly (still working on that!)
What did I learn from this? How fun it it to draw on a canvas that literally doesn't let you draw with colors without some layer cheating when necessary. Never tried it.
The beans. Sleeping beans.
Basically what happens when you want to sleep AND draw. Draw characters sleeping on your behalf.
Doesn't help, but at least it's cute.
I have no idea what was going on in my mind as I drew this. Feels like a fever dream of 'I want to sleep' at 4 am and 'Hm...' of thinking random things
Also that phone craft sign. Still too funny to imagine. I had to.
#fanart#sketch#my art#isat spoilers#isat#siffrin#siffrin isat#isat loop#in stars and time#I also tried to draw the Party too! But that one sketch is too rough yet!#And I'll probably never post it it was fun to draw them tho#Anyway I had /thoughts/ playing Act 5#Not great ones too! I would rather they stayed where I would never even know they exist#But I had to while playing so I did#So it took some time to just sit with everything also I spend a lot of time just doing achievements#One left! The annoying one.#NG+ is fun too#I'm still surprised by how much I enjoyed it#Like 'staying until 6 am playing 10 hours straight' kind of enjoyed#From 'hm I wonder what's it about' to 'yeah I cried multiple times so I think it's allowed to live in my head too'#I got sick multiple times on related and unrelated reasons while playing and planning to play that wasn't fun#Anyway it's cool have some sketches because I couldn't stop drawing last night#I love drawing characters being emotionally in pain but that requires specific mood and music to go with#And not overdoing it#Like when drawing first one 'Aishite' was on loop the whole time#It's b&w too! Red layers are added with 'paste' magic love that

Baby daddy Katsuki that would do literally anything for you or his kids. He's such a protective and dedicated dad/husband.
After you had your first baby, he insisted that you should resume your hero career after your pregnancy. He wanted you to keep being the strong woman he fell in love with. That's why he would often took days off work to stay with your son. Coming home to your two sweet boys sleeping on the couch always managed to bring a huge smile on your face. You would place a tender kiss on their forehead before taking a shower.
Sometimes you would wake up and find an empty spot in the bed next to you. You get up, and decide to check out the kitchen. Which is where you find Katsuki, handsome and shirtless, cooking for you. "How was patrol last night ?" He ask, with the pan still in his hands. "It was pretty calm, town was quiet" He was really focus on his cooking and was barely even listening to your answer. So you got closer to him and position yourself behind him, wrapping your arms around his waist. "Since when are you making breakfast" He smile at your comment, it's true he wasn't really a morning person and usually let you take care of breakfast. He would rather cook lunch or dinner. But today, he made an effort. You gently scratched his skin and start kissing his neck.
"Wait a minute mama i'm almost finish with your breakfast" You stop your actions and simply rest your head on his shoulder, admiring him. It always fascinated you how good he was at everything.
When the food was ready, he placed your plate in front of you for you to eat. "Thank you my love, you're so good to me" "Anything for you mama"
You grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. It was soft and heartwarming, the kind of kiss that made you feel so loved. After some time, an idea pops into your mind, making your smirk."You know we still have some time before he wakes up"
"Yeah, it's the perfect time to make another one..."
AAAAAAAAAA I LOVE DAD BAKUGO PLS. sorry this is short but i really wanted to write a bit ab this cuz i couldn't stop thinking about it.

The effects of face paint on Harrowhark's psyche
I've now cosplayed Gideon Nav 3 times, with my wife along as Harrow every time. Naturally, this has included full face paint for both of us each time and I have some thoughts.
Let me start by asserting that everything Muir writes in TLT about the face paint is accurate. Rubbing off your lips first, smearing into gray where the black and white meet, the way sweat makes it ooze but not run. I can't say if Muir (a known Homestuck) ever cosplayed as a troll, but I'm positive she tested out the practicality of the skull face paint or otherwise has first hand experience with extensive use of grease paint. Also, the way she describes normal people flinching when they see you is spot on.
I've noticed while putting on the make up that once most of my skin is covered, any flesh tones sticking out start to become unsettling. Specifically, the red/pink of the inner mouth and around the eyes jump out upsettingly. Every time I've done skull paint I find myself meticulously trying to patch over these edges of skin, despite knowing that it's inside skin that Shouldn't Have Make Up On It. Once my face is monochrome, I don't want to be able to see a scrap of real human under there. Smiling, or otherwise opening your mouth wide enough to see the pink, looks UNSETTLING. My own skin causes the uncanny valley effect. You see where this is going. In NtN we learn Harrowhark disassociates often enough that Crux isn't surprised or concerned to see "Harrow" insisting she's someone else. Obviously this is due to her schizophrenia, and perhaps trauma besides. But it doesn't account for every aspect of why Harrow's "like that." On her most lucid days Harrow ignores her body to the point of sweating blood and passing out. She goes entire days without eating. She thinks of herself as a skeleton unfortunately covered in flesh. She sleeps in her paint.
All of which is heinous, but that last one has stuck with me. From age 13-18 I barely glanced down while I showered and whatever I saw I basically blocked out. I wore underwear and a bra under my pajamas to sleep every night. I was going through the wrong puberty, "my body was in open rebellion" as I liked to say at the time, and the only way to cope was to bind it down and pretend it wasn't happening. By Gideon's narration in HtN one gets the impression most nuns of the Ninth are putting their paint on after breakfast and taking it off when they get home. It's not even expected the average person wears it every time they leave the house. But Harrow regularly only takes her paint off in order to redo it. I suspect a combination of being the most brainwashed person in her own cult, knowing how she was conceived, and the regular disassociation make it very difficult for Harrow to conceptualize that she actually lives in a body. If she faced that fact head on she'd have to ask why it so often feels someone else is using her body. She'd have to cope with owning this body, being a part of this body, that was bought with the blood of 200 children who should have been her peers and friends. Instead she pretends it's an object on loan from them. And she does it with 10 layers of black petticoats and so much paint she never has to see her own skin.
Which brings me to the final thing I've noticed wearing full face paint. It dehumanizes you to yourself and everyone around you. I couldn't read my own expressions in a mirror. Even people who understood and were delighted with my cosplay were visibly nervous talking to me. You don't look like a person. Studies have shown that faces wearing heavy make up are ranked as harder to read and perceived as less empathetic. It's a particularly insidious trap of patriarchy that many women find self esteem in wearing make up, while that very act makes everyone around them treat them more callously. And, worst of all, if you stop wearing it once you're used to it, your naked face is shocking. You look sick due to your colors being less bold and the normal small flaws of your face appear unbearably ugly. With all this in mind, Harrow has trapped herself in a feedback loop of not being able to witness her own face and becoming more and more disgusted with the flesh and person underneath whenever she has to glance at it.

Snitches the cat and his favorite bat
I wrote up dpxdc fics based off of prompts I happened to see in the last day to add to the reading pile for anyone who didn't prep for the archive down time today.
EDIT
The idea for Danny as a cat came from @shycorvid, thank you so much for correcting me and letting me play in your sandbox!
Snitches the cat comes from @garbagewith-a-cherryontop (I think??? I couldn't find a definite first post!) but the fantastic linked post is the one with how I think Snitches the cat looks here.
Word count is 1053.
Tumblr reference
masterpost for my AO3 downtime fics
“Ugh- that's not- did we just summon a demon cat?”
“It's so messed up looking. Ew.”
Danny blinked and swayed on his feet. He'd had a tail a minute ago, speeding across the GZ to check in on Walker. There had been an unpleasant lurch in his stomach. And now he was on his feet. All four of them.
Wait, what?
“You fucked this up.”
His ears twitched at the sound of a slap. Danny swiveled towards the sound and then got distracted by the feeling of his ears swiveling back. Whaaaaat?
He looked down at his precious little feeties. They were adorable paws.
“Oh, you motherfuckers,” he said. It came out as a conversational yowl.
The humans looked at him from about ten feet away and five feet up. “Annoying…”
He was pretty sure they were high schoolers. There were five of them, two girls and three boys. They were all bigger than him. High schoolers were usually bigger than he was, but this was just ridiculous.
“Count yourself lucky, dimwits,” one of the older kids said. He took a step towards Danny. Danny pressed his ears flat against his head and hissed at the approach. “If you managed to sacrifice Patches to a demon, your Mom would straight up murder you.” He laughed when he said it, like anything about that was remotely funny.
Uh- what now?
Only now, Danny noticed a very distressed calico cat underneath a laundry basket on the other side of the room. There was a stack of textbooks weighing the basket down. A large rug had been rolled up and- he sneezed rapidly, eyes watering. Chalk! They'd drawn on the floor with chalk!
‘This is some incompetent summoning,’ Danny realized, way too late. ‘Did they- how did they turn me into a cat?’ He looked at his unfortunate brethren under the laundry basket. Her ears were flat against her skull and she looked scared.
He remembered the word “sacrifice” and his blood flushed hit with fury. They'd wanted him to eat her! They'd wanted something to eat miss Patches!
The teenagers froze and looked at him, aghast at the angry sounds that were coming out of his throat.
“Shut up!” One hissed. She took off her shoe and threw it at him. Danny dodged and then threw his head back to yowl even louder. Sonic attack! Aural damage, you big jerks!
“The neighbors are going to- make it shut up!”
Danny had to run, dashing over furniture and tearing his way across a crowded table to avoid being grabbed. He screamed the whole time, eager to alert whoever they were so afraid of. Someone should see!
The window burst in.
Danny stopped running, shocked. He hadn't actually expected-
Someone snatched him up from behind and smacked him on the face with a palm. His jaw exploded with pain. It cut off his yowling.
Stunned. He was still for a moment and then he struggled for his life. The grip on his ribs was way too tight-
He looked over at the sound of a sword being pulled from a sheath. Holy shit, that was bomb as hell. His eyes went wide at the sight of a heavily armored small child crouched on the windowsill. The boy's eyes were covered, but Danny could still see him look at Danny and the poor calico under the laundry basket. He sneered.
“Unhand the cat or lose your hands at the wrist, you wretch.”
Danny loved him.
The teenager dropped him. Danny caught himself with a stumble. He let out a sad mraow before he could stop himself.
Fight club baby was enraged. “What have you done to this animal?” He hopped down into the room, revealing he was at least a foot shorter than the smallest girl in the room.
Danny trotted to him and started winding around his ankles admiringly. What a good kid! He purred.
“I will be taking both of your cats with me. If you ever harm an animal again, it will be your head that is found in a chalk-”
“Robin.” A hugeass grown man squeezed himself through the window that the kid had broken. Danny craned his head up, up, up, to see him case the joint.
The older man radiated incredible judgment. “I see that you require education on animal welfare and demonic summoning. Go on, Robin.”
“That's my Mom's cat!” One of the teenagers protested. “You can't take her!”
Robin growled at her. Danny jumped in his skin at the sound.
“Then we shall return it to your Mother and her alone, when we explain what you've done.” Danny let murder baby scoop him up and purred at full volume. Hell yeah. He looked at the cowering teenagers with condescension.
“Not that fugly thing.”
Danny blinked. He ended up making an inquisitive mraow. Why was a finger being pointed at him? He was baby.
“That thing showed up, you can get rid of it. But Patches is Mom's cat, and you can't steal a cat because-”
“Batman can steal any cat!” Robin bit out, gathered up Patches, and jumped out the window with both cats in an expert grip.
That didn't sound right, but Danny just enjoyed the night air as a line pulled Robin up to where yet another masked vigilante was waiting, cackling himself to tears.
“Batman can steal any cat,” he wheezed. “Brilliant. Good detour, Robin. Can I hold one?” He held out his blue-striped palms expectantly.
He faltered when he saw Danny, visibly surprised.
Danny… was starting to feel bad. He curled into Robin, hurt. He wasn't ugly. Why did people keep reacting to him weird?
“No,” Robin said curtly. “You have damaged his pride, and Patches is still reeling from her shock.”
The man let out a sigh but let the topic go. “That's Patches, and this is…?”
Robin hesitated. “He is the Snitch.”
That unlocked cooing. “Snitches? Snitchy Snitch Sni- ow!”
Danny snapped at the hand that came way too close and he let out a warning growl. No baby talk!
Robin seemed very pleased. He rubbed behind Danny's ears. “Snitch… I suppose that Snitches will suffice. We are taking him home.”
“....Maybe, just for fun, we should take him to get treated for mange first!” The guy made jazz hands to go with his statement.
Robin and Danny both growled that time.

⠀ ( drabble ) finally forever ̨ ! ୨୧ 一 박성훈 ՞
⸃ ⸰ ⌁ sunghoon tying himself to you for once and for all ヾ
yandere!sunghoon・ reader g ・ yandere cw ・ mentions of murder, unprotected sex, breeding kink, crying kink wc ・ 0.8k | click to library
request. yandere sunghoon smut PLEASE, your yan work has got me salivating. It can be any scenario you would like (punishment, stokeholm syndrome i hope u get what I mean) love your work !! take care. 🫶
「 ୨୧ authors note 」 hope this is what you wanted 🫶🏽🩷
you no longer walked on eggshells when sunghoon was around like you did when you first started whatever it is you had — you no longer fought with him about leaving ; in fact you hated when he'd leave or when he said he'd take you out. . . all you wanted was to have him to yourself.
sunghoon didn't see that at first; he thought you were just trying to fuck with him , waiting for him to let his guard down just to leave , so he tried everything to get to you — chaining you up to your bed , leaving you without food; that didn't work , he'd come home to you sitting on the bed , waiting for him.
he even tried bringing another girl home; no he had no intentions of sleeping with her , she was purely there just to see if you squirmed; and when you didn't , instead you cried , he killed her , there was no use for her and of course he couldn't let her go , you being tied to the bed kinda threw her off and he didn't want her to call the cops — even then you didn't do anything , not a flinch or anything.
he didn't even console you as you cried thinking he was tired of you — he still didn't fully believe it , he believed this was all an act , that was until you wrapped your arms around him , begging for him to never leave him , that you needed him; that you wouldn't be able to go on without him… that's when he knew he had you.
“you'd die without me?” he said , you sniffled, nodding your head. “stop all that whining , i killed her you saw it.” he said. “i was never gonna sleep with her.” your eyes were red, tears streaming down your face — it was fucking turning him on. “pl-please don't do that again.” you said. “you've acted like a bitch this entire time , why should i listen to you.”
“you know how much trouble you put me through? how many people died because of you?” he grabbed both your hands. “things won't change that easily because you suddenly love me , you still need to be punished.” he dragged you back to the room , throwing you the bed. “you want me to believe that you really won't leave?” he said , cuffing both hands , binding you back to the bed. “then shut the fuck up and let me do what i want to you.”
you laid there; no resistance as he pulled your pants down , leaving you in the underwear he bought. “you love me now?” pulling his pants down , freeing his cock from his underwear , it was your first time ever seeing his dick. “y-yeah.” you stuttered , pulling your panties to the side. “look at this wet cunt , no matter if this shit is just an act , this pussy is definitely singing a different tune.”
“i-i do love you.” you cried out. “i-i swear.” he let out a tsk sound. “then show me.” was the last thing he said before stuffing you completely full of his cock. “oh yeah fuck!” he groaned , wasting no time in thrusting into you. “so warm , fuck i waited so long for this.” he gripped your waist , holding your waist in his hands , as he began to pound into you. “hoonie fuck!”
he never heard that nickname came out your mouth , but it only encouraged him to fuck you deeper , and with much more force. “shit , should just use this little pussy until you can't take it anymore.” he hissed. “forget if you cum or not.” he slapped your cunt. “sunghoon.” you screamed pulling at the restraints. “use you as my cum dump.”
you began to tear up again , he was being really mean. “keep crying , show me how sorry you are.” you sobbed out and apology after apology , not even sure what you were apologizing for. “im sorry , im so sorry.” you said in between sobs. “please let me cum , i need to cum , please i love you so much.” he heard enough , plus he was on the brink of cumming himself. “cum , cum now.”
he gave your clit a few slaps as you came , creaming his cock , tightening around him. “fuck I'm gonna fill you up , keep you pregnant with my kids so you'll have no choice to stay.” he didn't really like the idea of child , but if was to get reassurance that you'd stayed with him then so be it. “fuck im gonna cum inside you.”
“please hoonie , please fill me with your cum.” you begged , he gave you a few more thrust, stilling his hips as his cock pumped a load of his cum into you. “fuck , you're mine.” he groaned. “this is my fucking pussy.” his hand coming up to your throat. “you're mine , and a few kids will solidify that.”
“gonna fuck a few brats inside you so you'll be stuck with me forever.”
